MeidasTouch Full Podcast - 11/3/26 (Pre-Election Special)

The Midas Touch podcast’s midterm election special delivers a critical analysis of Donald Trump’s final campaign activities, highlighting a pattern of increasingly absurd and dangerous rhetoric. From deranged speeches in Kansas and Iowa to a bizarre final rally at the Reflecting Pool, Trump’s messaging shows a deep disconnect from reality, including false claims about winning the Vietnam War and a fixation on trivial details like granite and personal preferences. These behaviors, combined with his history of spreading misinformation, are part of a broader strategy to undermine democracy through fear, confusion, and deception. Legal challenges to election integrity have overwhelmingly failed, with federal courts dismissing claims of voter fraud in key states, citing lack of evidence and violating constitutional state rights. In contrast, the Democratic response focuses on tangible, urgent issues like affordability, healthcare, and housing, offering a grounded, people-centered alternative. The show also calls on listeners to vote—emphasizing that no poll is more reliable than actual participation. A key strategic insight is the potential to call Trump’s bluff by passing popular legislation like a $5,000 affordability relief bill, forcing him to act as “Mr. Veto” and exposing his obstructionism. The episode concludes by framing Trump’s actions as part of a global authoritarian network targeting democratic institutions, urging listeners to build resilient systems and protect the integrity of the democratic process. The discussion is both urgent and hopeful, rooted in accountability, transparency, and civic engagement.

The Midas Touch Podcast is sponsored by ADT. Hey, this is Brett from the Midas Touch Podcast. I actually use ADT in my own home and it gives me so much peace of mind, especially with a one-year-old and my pup in the house. There's already enough to think about every day, so home security is one thing I really don't want to have to worry about. One of my favorite parts is the ADT Plus app. I can arm or disarm the system and check live camera feeds right from my phone, no matter where I am. And there have definitely been nights where I've gotten into bed, realized I forgot to set the alarm, and instead of getting back up, I just arm it right from the app. It's super convenient. ADT offers customizable systems that can be professionally installed, and they have the most company-operated monitoring centers in the industry, helping protect your home 24-7. Their technology can also help first responders locate you faster in an emergency. For me, it really comes down to trust. I use ADT, I trust ADT, and having that protection gives me one less thing to worry about so I can focus on my family and actually enjoy those little moments at home. Welcome to the Midas Touch podcast midterm election edition. We are less than 24 hours from this live recording of the midterm election day of voting. If you're listening to this on Tuesday, go and vote. Today would be the elections if you're listening to this on Tuesday. And if you're listening to this on Tuesday, a huge day indeed. Now, leading to election day, Donald Trump gave his final speeches in Kansas and Iowa. Each speech more deranged than the next. He was making weird noises like, uh, uh, uh. He said that he would have won the Vietnam War in a week by blowing up the U.S. allies in Ho Chi Minh City. He kept on talking about the Qatari jet and how big it is. Of course, he continued to profess his love of John Husted's ass and how he's attracted to it. He's attracted to men or whatever the hell he was saying. And so we'll cover what was going on there. Then today, Donald Trump gave a speech in front of the reflecting pool to a group of about 20 people who all work for the National Park Service. It was frankly a pretty sad and pathetic thing to watch. Not for Donald Trump. He deserves all the karma he's about to get on election day. But just for the country to see that this is the president of the United States standing in front of the reflecting pool talking about granite, and the smell of algae, and how he's building a promenade, and what it's going to look like, and how he loves building and designing things in Washington, D.C. Again, he looks sickly. You could hear like three people clapping. Really, really humiliating, frankly, for our nation. Also, the Trump regime continued to get humiliated in court. They've been losing in all of their federal cases where they've tried to attack the president. The election integrity of various states. They've been losing in states like Texas. They've lost in California. They've lost in Washington, D.C. Literally all of the cases that they've brought or have been involved in regarding the election, they have lost. And by the way, over the weekend, Donald Trump lost his defamation case where he sued the Wall Street Journal for billions of dollars for saying they defamed him by publishing about his letter to Jeffrey. Jeffrey Epstein for Epstein's 50th birthday. You know, that really creepy letter where Donald Trump did like a doodle of a naked girl and talked about enigmas never age and talking about keeping their secrets together. Yeah, Donald Trump sued the Wall Street Journal. The Wall Street Journal filed a motion to dismiss. They prevailed. And the federal judge was like, I'm not really sure why you were pointing to another Wall Street Journal article which included other signatures by Donald Trump. Because it kind of looks identical to the signature that you're claiming isn't yours where I guess your point is is that somebody time traveled back to 2003 for Epstein's 50th birthday and planted it there knowing that more than 23 or 22 years later it would surface from the Epstein estate and then it would have you in it and then that's somehow defaming you. Like, what are you even talking about here? Again, it just shows that Donald Trump is part of the Epstein class in my opinion. This is someone who's been found civilly liable for sexual abuse. He is a sexual predator and a disgusting piece of trash and we need to call him out for that. Also, Iran struck somewhere between two to four tankers today in the Strait of Hormuz. We're trying to keep up with all the tankers that are struck. One of the reasons that I say two to four is that the main reporting group, UKMTO, they're now very late in reporting. So they've done two reports but I've been tracing two other reports of other strikes in the Strait of Hormuz. So I believe the number is four. They've reported two. They've admitted that they're not reporting the majority of times tankers get hit. So we'll focus on what's going on there. Also, Iran says that they destroyed one U.S. MQ-9 Reaper and two U.S. MQM-170 reconnaissance drones that were in and around the Strait of Hormuz. Although Donald Trump claims that he's very close to a deal with Iran. They're very, very close and that things are about to get much better. And when Trump finished that deranged speech he gave in the Reflecting Pool, a reporter asked him, so are you going to go to war with Iran after the midterms? And he said, no, no, no. And on that and on other just kind of market manipulation that he does, the price of oil dropped today and it's like, it's just such a freaking scam. And I mean, look, we all want it to go down but it'll go back up. It's just more of the same and I think it just reinforces the uncertainty and the unpredictability, the madness, the dangerousness, the psychotic nature of this failed regime. Brett and Jordy, it's good to see you on this midterm election edition of the show. Reminder, if you're listening to this on Tuesday or watching on Tuesday, vote. And if you're watching this live or listening to it after the live on Monday, make a plan to vote. That's the biggest message I want to get across right at the top of the show. Make sure you're voting and if you're online right now listening to the show, the Midas Touch podcast, thanks for listening and thanks for voting and maybe share the show with a friend who is online with you and if you're not and you've not returned your ballot yet or gone to the polls, please go now. Do not take anything for granted. You're going to see a lot of polls and the numbers do look really good. We're going to go through that but we cannot count on polls. The only poll that matters is you actually going to the polls. Brothers, Midas, Mighty, I don't think the Democrats, though, prepared for this October surprise, what Donald Trump was going to pull out in the final moments of the election. Just a day before the midterm elections, Donald Trump highlights the reflecting pool. Nobody could have seen the reflecting pool coming and this is the message that Donald Trump wants to leave with the American people is failed reflecting pool project which was supposed to be completed in July and then was a disaster and had cracked sealant and turned bright green and then he tried to charge a former Olympian and blamed the former Olympian for the damage that his own contractors, that this is the end to the image that Donald Trump wants to leave voters with as we get into the midterm elections tomorrow. I have been tracking what these Republicans have been saying on the trail, what Donald Trump's been saying and I've been following, of course, the Democratic campaigns and there is such a messaging gap between the two of them. Democrats historically have gotten a lot of crap for their messaging. I think they've actually been honed in this cycle and Republicans, I don't know what the hell they're even talking about. I don't know what their message is. It's John Huston's ass. It's Nicki Minaj's ass. It's, it's reflecting pools. more war. I don't even know what the heck is going on there. We're going to get into a whole lot of stuff today, but first, you know, I got to toss it over to Jordy. Jordy, what's the latest? Brothers, might as mighty. It is so wonderful to be here. I am so excited to get into tonight's show. As the brothers have already said, if you are listening on Tuesday, make sure you're getting out and voting. If you are listening and watching tonight, make sure you get that ironclad plan on, on how you plan to vote tomorrow on Tuesday on election day. Benji, where are we starting off today, big bro? That new MAGA Mike talking point, Brett, it was a variation of some classic MAGA Mike. He said, Donald Trump not only doesn't sleep, but he says, Mike, if you're going to sleep, you're being a sissy. That's what MAGA Mike said. And that's one of the closing messages of MAGA Mike in his last day. Great message. Don't be a sissy is what MAGA Mike said. You know, I didn't talk about, I'll just address it very briefly, but she's absolutely irrelevant. And doesn't deserve any attention. Goodbye, Haley Stevens. I mean, the stunt she pulled over the weekend. So utterly despicable. I've heard some people say she looks deeply unwell and what a bizarre relationship she has with that fiance of her and what his involvement is. I'll just say this, bye-bye. You are now an irrelevant person. You've destroyed your career. This is what you've done. Nobody cares about you. And we're not going to spend a single moment. More of this show talking about you, nor should anybody talk about you ever again. You are an irrelevant, irrelevant human being. You just threw your whole career away with what you did. It is shameful. It is disgusting. Good riddance. That's all I want to say about her. But Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, I think has run a campaign on the issues. He said, it's not about me. It's not about someone who ran against me in the primaries. It's not about my opponent. No, it is about the voters. It is about what people are experiencing. These aren't talking points that people are struggling to get by. It's not a talking point that healthcare has been ripped away from people, that diesel and gas are at record highs, that people can't afford their rent, that credit card delinquencies are at record highs. When people open up their fridge, they see empty shelves because groceries are unaffordable. That we are in never-ending wars right now, that the war in Ukraine is escalating, that Trump has no plan to get out of Iran and things get worse there, that he's covering up a freaking child sex trafficking ring with the Epstein files. These aren't talking points. This is the reality that people live in. And Trump wanting to bend reality and create these made-up worlds, which, by the way, we talk about in WTF America, bend reality, that's done. Enough. Focus on what's actually happening here. The Trump regime is like, "Oh, oh, they're going to transgender your child." That's one of the things that they say when he's not talking about Qatari jets or men's asses or how rich he is or whatever. They're going to, he goes, "They transgender your kid. They take him. They steal him and they chop off his penis." It's like, what are you talking about? What weird people are you to even, just demented things? They create their fake worlds where they apparently are the ones that save penises from being chopped off or whatever the hell they even want to talk about. But that's who they are. These are deranged, demented people who are covering up the child sex trafficking rings. And as we also talk about WTF America, this is a globalist authoritarian network that work on these messages together to destroy elections. You're not playing by the rules. They're not doing good faith. They want to destroy elections. They are the arsonists that want to burn down systems and replace it with nothing so that they come in and they go, "I alone can fix it." It's their playbook. Watch for it. Realize it. Build systems with us. Build systems to fight it. That's what we're focused on here at the Midas Touch Network. Over the weekend, Donald Trump threw a Gatsby, Epstein weirdo looking party at Mar-a-Lago where he had half naked men dressed as. Like kittens. And then he had freaking zebras running around. And the whole thing was grotesque, like live zebras, half naked men. The whole thing was so strange. And then he was there and he was like, "You see how rich my. " This is one of his closing messages. "These are rich guys. These Wall Street guys, they're the richest that they are. And they took all of their time to dress up. They wanted to dress up with me. And that shows you how great Mar-a-Lago Club is." Here, watch what he says. Let's play this clip. All my rich members, they spent all day getting ready. And look at these guys. These are the big. Quiet for a second. These are the biggest guys on Wall Street. And they spent all day long getting ready. I only had 10 minutes, so I just put on a red tie. They spent all this time getting ready. Then he spoke in Kansas and Iowa, where right now, Democrats are surging ahead of the Magna Republicans. There are polls. Have those read. They're polls. Have those races neck and neck. And then Donald Trump would go in these speeches and just start making noises and go, "Ugh. Ah. Ugh." Here, let's play this clip. Oh, baby. Oh, mom. Oh. Ah. Ah. And then he said that he would have won the war in Vietnam in a week by bombing South Vietnam or allies in Ho Chi Minh City. We would have won the war. He said, "Well, I guess if you would have bombed your allies, then I guess that's the end of it." He said, "Well, I guess if you would have bombed your allies, then I guess that's the end of it." He said, "Well, I guess if you would have bombed your allies, then I guess that's the end of it." Your plan to victory would be to bomb the allies? I mean, does he even know? First off, he's a five-time draft dodger saying that he got bone spurs. Also, thinking about all of the courageous Vietnam vets that are out there, by the way, including federal Judge Carter, who has also ruled against Donald Trump in the Central District of California in election cases there, while Donald Trump said, "I would have solved it by blowing up Ho Chi Minh City. That's what I would have done." Now, if he meant that he would have bombed Hanoi, if he would have bombed northern Vietnam, what that would have triggered is Russia and China's involvement and would have created World War III, which is why that wasn't really directly bombed. But for Donald Trump, who's basically put the world right now, either in World War III or on the brink of World War III, just listen to what he says. Donald Trump: "I don't know what we do with this stupid, stupid presidents, but I've got. " Donald Trump: "I could have won that war in three weeks. I could have won the Vietnam War in a week. They drop whatever the hell that red crap is that they kept dropping it in the forest. Agent Orange, even though it's red. Agent Orange, they drop it in the forest for years and years and years. Instead of going after Ho Chi Minh City and the different places, I would have won that war in one week. I would have won the. " Just saying words. I mean, you would have won the Vietnam War, a war that you did not fight in because you dodged the draft and now you don't even know the difference between the cities over there. Just say again. It's like anything like that in normal times would be absolutely disqualifying, or the noises or the sounds. As I've said, this nation has been suffering from battered nation syndrome. It's a term that I heard Dr. Bandy Lee talk about. When you normalize the behavior of a psychotic authoritarian, the nation becomes this traumatized thing where you just go, "Well, that's just him. That's just him." No, no, no. We need to fortify our minds and build systems to purge that cancer, to purge this scourge out. This is going to happen in the election, but we can't be okay with that behavior at all. When people are like, "Oh, that's being hyperbolic. That's being hyperbolic." That's like somebody criticizing the type of medicine that's needed to get rid of the illness. "Oh, why would you take the medicine? Just get better yourself." No, you have to use the right words and you have to stand up to it clearly with moral clarity in the moment and say, "No, that's crazy. This is a crazy person. What are we talking about here?" Today, his closing message is him in front of the reflecting pool. He's talking about his favorite types of granite and that the granite is actually alive and it's thousands of years old. This is what he says about granite today in his closing message before the midterms. This is granite, so it's pretty strong stuff. We fixed the granite. We re-caulked it. All of this has been re-caulked. If you go around the pool, you'll see it's in very good shape, very pristine shape. We didn't have to replace it because the granite stone is- Then he had Don Jr. as one of his main proxies today in Ohio. He called Dr. Amy Acton a drunk when he looked deeply ill. Don Jr., I read your comments. You can form your own opinions of what he's experiencing in this moment, but he looked deeply, deeply unwell. I'll let you form your own opinions, but let's take a look at what he said. Let's play it. I can watch some of these Democrats on TV. Watching Amy, it's like she got back every speech. It's like she got back from a really long happy hour with Kamala Harris. I don't know that that's the person I want making decisions that our children and our children after them are going to be dependent on. Do you? Don Jr. talked about how the You know, if you leave it to the Democrats, they want to make Ohio into a state. Can you believe that? They're going to actually turn Ohio into a state. How dangerous would that be? Ohio into a state? Here, listen to what he had to say. Let's play it. They want to pack the Supreme Court. They want to make Ohio a state, make D.C. a state, have permanent one party rule. All, all apparently, I don't know how it works, but, you know, they can do these things and get away with it. All in the name of somehow preserving democracy. The big MAGA Republican alpha influencer Scott Pressler has been sent out on the trail for an emergency last minute push right here. This is the ultra MAGA guy. Here's their kind of MAGA bro kind of guy. They put him out there to try to get the youth vote. So he's in Pennsylvania right now trying to. Connect with all of the young college men. Here's what he's got to say. Let's play. Now, I have a message to the American people. I realize that we haven't accomplished everything within two years. That's why we're out here asking for another to make President Trump a four year president. Make sure that the job that we gave him in twenty twenty four, he can accomplish and use all for you. That's going to be tough to compete with right there. Then MAGA Mike Johnson. During one of the. Final rallies, he said Donald Trump said that I'm a sissy or your don't be a sissy or something. And you should don't he doesn't sleep. He doesn't sleep. That's that's the closing message is this man doesn't sleep. We see him sleep all the time. Here's what Megan Mike says. I work almost as hard as this guy. I try to keep up with me, doesn't sleep at all. You understand that the man calls me at like one o'clock in the morning and also at five a.m. Mikey is sleeping. No, sir. Of course, sleep is for sissies. We know. Of course not. That's bringing Brett and Jordy after all of that. That's I think it's a good like here's the thing, though, right? Like what I just did there, that's what news should do. And I'm not trying to, you know, be like, OK, great. It's just those that's craziness. Like this is some real crazy stuff that were observed. That's why the title of the book is called WTF. Because what the what the F is that, Brett and Jordy? It's like when you when you view everything through the horse race lens, you try to find balance. Where there is in balance and one of the issues of the times that we currently live in is that things are so far off the rails and these magas have gotten so extreme, the things they're talking about are so absurd that using the kind of typical formulas that you kind of learn in journalism school and stuff by its nature, kind of a same wash is what's actually going on because you're designed to say, well, this person was doing this. This person was doing what was there framing? And you're like, what are you talking about? You're talking about John Houston's ass the whole time. They may have build it as a rally for that. That's not what they actually talked about. And that's one of the issues with covering, you know, this stuff. And that wasn't like a, you know, select few clips that we pulled from these various Republican events. That was the nature of these events. And when you look at the difference right now, like I said, Democrats have historically gotten a lot of crap for their messaging. But I don't know what the hell these Republicans are doing. And if Democrats are better messaging, what the hell is that? But I got to say, you look at these events and you see the Republican Party. They just have a very destructive vision. They have a first off, a very dystopian vision of the United States of America. And they have this vision for the future that isn't about how can I help you? How can I make prices come down? How could I help you get health care? It's you don't hear anything like that at all. It's all fear mongering. I mean, I, I, I was going to say, I encourage you to watch, but I really don't. But if you watch any of these rallies, it's just fear mongering fear. They're going to do this to your kids. They're going to do this to your family. They're going to steal from you. They're going to it just and it's all projection also. But it's just one threat after the next. These horrible things are going to happen to you unless you vote for me. When you look at the rallies that the Democrats are doing right now, I think you see an actually a huge shift in messaging. Probably a lot inspired, quite frankly, by New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani, who deserves a lot of credit for for the shift and the focus. We're seeing a lot of people. But you see Dr. Abdul El-Sayed out there and what's he saying over and over again? He's saying money out of politics, money in your pocket, pass Medicare for all. I mean, those are the things that he's focused on. You know, how do I make your life better? When you see James Tallarico in Texas, what are the things that he's speaking about? He's speaking about how do I make your life better? How can we all live together in harmony? How could I bring down your prices? How could I make life easier for you and your family? And that difference to me is just absolutely striking. That reflection really, truly is almost like a Rorschach test of sorts, or I don't even know if that's the right way to put it. I'm just I'll just say it's a like a science experiment. What if we designed the worst messaging that we could ever come up with in the world? What if we have the president speak about John Husted's ass and Nicki Minaj's ass? Let's have him hold the final rally in front of the reflecting pool that he screwed up miserably. Let's do everything as humanly bad as possible. What happened? Like I feel like we're living in a social experiment sometimes, right? It's like, you know, they came up with this messaging playing some weird MAGA Mad Libs where they're like, okay, and the president will talk about Houston's ass and then he'll give his closing message in front of the reflecting pool. It's utterly bizarre what we're witnessing every single day. I want to recap a couple of things here and I think it goes to speak about, you know, a lot of what Donald Trump and his psyche really is. He truly believes we are living in this golden age that he has created. Why? Because he has surrounded himself by a bunch of yes people and he has intentionally lived his life by surrounding himself now by a bunch of yes people, whether it's his cabinet who only tell him how great he's doing. Oh, great job, sir. Oh, amazing. Oh, you're striking fear in everyone, sir. Oh, incredible work, sir. Or when he goes to Mar-a-Lago and gets to hang out with the.001%, the best, the most richest bankers in the world, right? They all tell Donald Trump, what a great job you're doing for us, sir. You're doing great. Donald Trump. He really believes that we are living through a golden age. He cannot acknowledge the affordability crisis that is hitting this nation hard. He cannot acknowledge the senseless war that he has gotten us into that continues to drive our gas prices up and get our troops killed. When he's at that Halloween party, like, I just want you all to remember, like, there is a war actively happening. And the president of the United States who got us into that war in order to escape from the Epstein files, in order to try and run away from that, he started this war, is now spending his time at Halloween parties. priorities because he wants to hang out with his people. He wants to be glazed. He wants to hang out with the 0.001% and he doesn't want to work for you, the American people. So as he's giving his closing message, his closing message is, look at how great my life is. Look at how great everyone here and their lives are. At my beach club in Florida? Why is he even there in the first place? He's the president of the United States and he's spending his free weekends hanging out at a beach club while there's a war going on, while our troops are dying? It is banana lands. Vietnam, I want to go to that really quickly. So what is he saying when he's going to Vietnam? He has to make up fictitious scenarios now of how he would have handled situations because we have data, concrete data, of how he actually handled situations when he was in charge of a war that he got us in, the Iran war. That's still happening. 10 months later, 12 months, going on a year. It is crazy to me that anyone lets him slide on this messaging that I would have ended the Vietnam war in a week. Dude, you dodged the war five times because you said you had bone spurs. You didn't fight in the war. You were too cowardly to do that while Americans risked their lives and died fighting on behalf of this country. And you have the audacity to besmirch their legacies to say that you would have ended the war in a week? Man, go F yourself. You are just the scummiest of scum ever, man. He says it with no. No shame. And it is just so frustrating. Every time he degrades the troops. This is not a blue or red issue to me. This is someone who loves the country and wants to understand why the president of the United States thinks he knows better than our commanders, our military men and women, who thinks he has the smartest strategies around. And the only thing that I always come back to is he has so insulated his entire life of surrounding himself by yes people that don't want to tell him no, that only want to tell him how smart he is. So he truly thinks we are there as a country. And that has opened up this lane for the Democrats to take back the messaging here in a very efficient and smart way and just realize the situation that we're all living through. There is an affordability crisis in this country. There is a war that is waging on that we do not need to be in. There is a healthcare crisis. There is a housing crisis. And we collectively as leaders need to do better to address these issues. And then lastly, the reflecting pool, the closing message. He's talking about how he sealed the reflecting pool with granite and now it's super. strong? I don't know how no one has the courage in Donald Trump's inner circle to be like, maybe close with some sort of unifier of, you know, there's a positive outlook if you elect, you know, Republicans and my agenda for another two years. There has been absolutely none of that. And, you know, I think it's important that we realize here that, look, I'm not a Democrat because I love the color blue, right? I think. the party needs a lot of work in itself, but this is a party that actually wants to work on behalf of the American people, where Donald Trump only wants the country to work for him and his inner circle. I mean, he's a psychotic, demented sex predator, lunatic. I mean, regardless of who he is, he's just an awful, vile piece of trash human being. And he's behaving like that. I mean, he's a felon. He's been found civilly liable for sexual assault. He's a bankruptor. He's a bit of someone who has destroyed things his entire life. And that's what he continues to do right now. I mean, it's obvious. I don't know. I don't know how you look at this and you go, hey, okay, got it. I mean, it is the most demented behavior imaginable. Trump regime also releasing footage from a podcast interview that Donald Trump did with far right-wing propagandists from New York Post's Miranda Devine, where Donald Trump says if Democrats take control of the House or the Senate, then Trump says he will become Mr. Veto, where he will veto everything that's passed by the House and the Senate. Let's listen to what he has to say. Let's play. We're not going to let that happen. You still be able to do what you do? Work with? Democrats, even if they do. Well, if that happens, I guess I'll become Mr. Veto. I'm not going to let them. And then at some point, we'll probably make deals. That's what's happened. I mean, this is. Brett, you had a good point. I want you to share. It's what you were telling me earlier today. And I think Democrats do two things when they take control of the House and potentially even the Senate. Number one, relentless, robust investigations. I mean, every day, every day, subpoenas fly. And what they're. Doing gets communicated to the American people. We want hearings across all committees. We want long hearings where people are grilled as aggressive as can be. And I'm confident with both who would be taking over in the House and the Senate that you would get very aggressive oversight. And the other point is the affordability agenda. And, Brett, I want you to share what you were saying with me earlier today, because you were like, you know what, every day the Democrats should pass the most popular legislation. Universal. Pre-K and universal health care and housing legislation and education legislation and, you know, ways to fight back against corporations screwing over consumers and, you know, banning stock trading by everybody, including in the executive branch. Like just everything that the American people are demanding. And then if he wants to become Mr. Veto with all of that, with this popular legislation. Just call the bluff and make sure it's message to the American people that what was about to pass. And then if he's going to veto the housing and the infrastructure and the health care and the education and, you know, and all of that and universal pre-K, then let him and the MAGA Republicans still own that every day. But communicate to the people exactly what was passed. This was passed. He vetoed it. And you know what? Use it against him. If he wants to call himself Mr. Veto, you can be like Mr. Veto strikes again. Here's what we would have delivered to you. But Mr. Veto strikes again. And you could even, Brett, bring back the, hear about this one, too. Bring back the bipartisan border immigration bill that Biden had previously passed that would have provided dignity to, it would have provided dignity to immigrants, a pathway to citizenship to people who were here legally and lawfully, and stronger borders. we just passed it. Mr. Veto strikes again. And I think you raised a great point there, but that should be the strategy in my view. And I think you summed it up perfectly. But like just every single day, just keep having people, keep having the Democrats vote on things that are extremely wildly popular, that move the agenda of actually helping people forward and let Trump take his mantle of Mr. Veto. Okay, Mr. Veto, let's see you veto Affordable Care Act credits. Let's see you veto healthcare for children. Let's see you veto universal pre-K. Let's see you veto $5,000 checks. I don't even care what it is. Just keep throwing things out there, right? Just keep throwing things out there and let Donald Trump and the Republicans be the ones to block it because they're going to constantly try to make the Democrats out to be the bad guys, right? It's their fault that this is happening, that that's happening, even though Donald Trump is the president of the United States. So you need to fight back. And it's not only a procedural thing that you do when you're there, but it also is a messaging thing you're telling the American people. Look at all the things that we are trying to get done and look at who is stopping us. It couldn't, could it be any more clear right now? So I think that it would be an incredibly effective way to get that message out, to try to call Donald Trump's bluff, to try to make this happen. Um, and I think it would be a good look, quite frankly, you know, for, for Dem you know, for Democrats Democrats to be fighting for those issues, the things that people elected them to be in there for. And of course, relentless investigation, investigation into all the corruption. And Ben, your midterm election special the other night, I thought was really important and powerful with Jim Himes and with Jamie Raskin, where they spoke about all this stuff and they spoke about everything they wanted to investigate. And it gives me a lot of hope, quite frankly, for the way they are going to run things. And also, you know, the fact that they've been war gaming out all of these various scenarios, any of the sort of ways that Donald Trump may try to manipulate the election or Elon Musk may try to do things or whomever it is, they have war gamed all of these plans. And there's a whole sea of very smart attorneys out there who are going to be swatting down the Trump regime as they try to do all of this. Just like with what happened even by the Supreme Court today in California, which we'll get to in a bit. But let the law, legal process, make it, let that happen. You just need to do what you could do. And what you could do is vote. Building on Mr. Vito very quickly, I want to start here. Donald Trump, one of his final closing message has also been to just bribe voters, seemingly. He says, if the Republicans take the House, I will give you $5,000 is one of his messages. Now, no one believes him anymore because he's promised those dividend checks and these checks. And no one's ever seen a dime of these failed promises that Donald Trump continues to promise his constituents, promise the American people that they're going to see money. I want the Democrats, the very first thing to do, I want them to go ahead and pass the Donald J. Trump affordability check relief bill. And I'm no economist, and maybe that name needs a little bit of workshop. But if they pass a bill that just says, hey, $5,000 to help Americans in this affordability crisis that we live in, you know what he's going to do? He's going to be Mr. Vito. Because it's not about helping the American people. His $5,000 bribe is not about helping the American people. It's about, again, only helping the Republican Party and Donald Trump continuing to just have unfiltered power. And so if he were to pass it, at least in immediacy, Americans could see $5,000 hit their pockets and help them with this affordability crisis that Donald Trump has, you know, bestowed upon the country by not acknowledging. If he doesn't, I think it sends a very clear message exactly where Donald Trump is going to take these next two years. And that's play this role of Mr. Vito. No matter what the Democrats want to do, no matter how good or how lofty the goals are, Donald Trump is going to be, nope, vetoing it. Because here's the one thing about this $5,000 plan. I have not heard one Republican speak out against Donald Trump in this outright bribe to the American people about if Republicans take the house, they get this check. So why don't we just put all the chips on the table? And Donald, we passed the $5,000 for the American relief. Can we do it? And let me be clear. It's a terrible idea, but call it a bluff. I don't think so. I genuinely don't think it's a bad idea. I think it's an awful idea. Let's explain. Explain why. Explain why it's a bad idea. Because it's outward corruption just so blatantly. No, it's a good idea to call the bluff. The policy is a horrible idea. Yeah. Again, I'm no economist. I'm not Wolfers, right? That's not the lane I'm playing in. I have no idea how this impacts the national debt, my personal, no. But probably a data point that you- Yeah, probably a data point you'd want before you actually say it's a great idea, because it's a horrific idea. The broader issue with it, just so everybody knows, is that it could cause inflation to surge even higher. And so if you're going to do it, it needs to be done surgically, and it needs to be done in a way that at least studies these issues. Because I think that there are a lot of ways to address the affordability crisis and to address the health care crisis in a way that isn't just $5,000 for everybody. Because also think about it, Jordi. I mean, you have to think about it. Does the $5,000 then go to like billionaires and millionaires? Do they need the $5,000? I mean, how do you actually target the relief and how do you do it in a way that makes sense? But I think it's fair to say more broadly and globally that there's a lot of things that government can do to help people out, to not have a tax system that's screws over everyday working folks while giving every benefit, every deduction, everything to the richest 1%. And how do we allow people to have access to health care and to have affordable housing? And I think there's a lot of things that we could do. So the point, though, Jordi, I think that you make is actually well said and well taken. There needs to be ways to call Donald Trump's bluff. And I think that that is, he could be Mr. Veto, you know, for that. I just want to give you an area where, you know, I like to think that I have a level of expertise as well, which is on the legal side. And Donald Trump's lawsuits against, you know, these various states, whether he was suing Alaska, whether he was suing California, you know, these threatening letters that he's been sending to various state secretary, secretary of states, and the local officials threatening them. There's been real, I think, powerful response from the states, even in Alaska, I might add, and also a lot of nonprofit groups and a lot of legal groups that have been doing a great job fighting back. Look, I give the Alaska state government credit now that it was a Republican state attorney general's office that did indeed file a motion to dismiss Donald Trump's efforts to interfere with the Alaska election, where Donald Trump is now a Republican state attorney general. And I don't know if you can understand that when it says Dan Sullivan, Republican incumbent, that that's the Republican incumbent Dan Sullivan. And when that there was another Dan J. Sullivan, that doesn't have the name Republican or incumbent, that in the rank choice voting, people don't know what the word incumbent means. And the Superior Court, the Supreme Court of Alaska had already ruled that there's no issue with this, that the people of Alaska aren't going to be confused. The people of Alaska aren't confused. They don't need people in Washington, D.C. or California to be confused. to speak from them. But I give the Republican state attorney general's office credit for now, right? They fought back. And Mary Peltola's team and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, they intervened as well. And they filed the motion to dismiss. So did the state of Alaska. And so did a nonprofit group. And there the court ultimately ruled against the Trump regime and said the Trump regime can't interfere and try to block the vote or segregate certain votes or pry into the privacy about why people voted. The state set the election laws unless Congress otherwise rules. Article 1, Section 4, Clause 1 of the Constitution says the time, place and manner of holding elections for senators and representatives shall be prescribed in each state by the legislature thereof. But the Congress may at any time by law make or alter such regulations except as the places for choosing senators. Congress has not made any laws that say otherwise. So it is the state's rights until Congress passes a law. So Alaska, Donald Trump's attack there rejected in California, where the Trump regime came up with the list of like their 20,000 voters that they said were non-citizen voters who were registered but weren't citizens and would be unlawfully voting. You had a federal judge in the Central District of California, Judge Carter, say, look, if you think crimes are being committed, then prosecute the crimes. Like, you're not going to just speculate about lists and then actually thwart the ability of legitimate voters to vote based on some list that you claim exists. So if you think there are crimes, go after the bad guys, prosecute them. I'm a federal judge. If you tell me people are committing crimes, file on them, and then we could have criminal cases over here. And there was a judge in the Northern District of California who also issued an injunction against the Trump regime for their threats to state and local officials. Then you had in Washington, D.C., Judge Boasberg, a federal judge there, he issued certain orders against the Trump regime. Okay, if you claim there's 20,000 voters out there that are unlawful, let's see the list. Show me what this list looks like. And then the Trump regime's like, no, we don't want to show the list. Well, Judge Boasberg made the Trump regime turn over the list, and it turns up the list is like a fabricated list. Like, the names are like made up. And there's like, immediately, it was like 47% of the list were like made up people. So just think about that, that of this list, before you even get to who the hell are these people who are actually in this, like, state, but are probably registered voters, 47% is made, like 50% of what you would be doing is just like made up work product. And then the other people, you then have to say, well, is that maybe someone with a similar sounding name? Does that person actually live in the state anymore? You can still go into all of those types of issues. And, you know, it turns out that the list was kind of bogus to begin with. So that's what was discovered in DC. Then you had the Supreme Court making the ruling that you just showed over there, denying the Department of Justice request for an emergency stay of the California election cases with no noted dissents. The court did not even ask for opposition briefs. So this was a complete defeat for the Trump DOJ, which again, wanted to pry into the California votes. Hat tip to Mark Elias and the Elias group. They do really good work over there. And all of the clients of Mark who participated in the election. And all of the clients of Mark who participated in that case. But the final takeaway is the Trump regime lost. They lost everyone. of their cases, and they will continue to lose if they bring these frivolous cases. But I want to go back to Article 1, Section 4, Clause 1, time, place, and manner of holding elections for senators and representatives shall be prescribed by the state, because this is a state's rights issues. But of course, the Trump regime is never about state's rights at all. They're about a authoritarian like Donald Trump, destroying state's rights and destroying the rights of people. But here's what Donald Trump said on that New York Post deranged podcast with Miranda Devine, where Trump says, people don't know what the word incumbent means. Just people don't know what it means. Here, play this. Something about Republican incumbent, tiny little, you know, letters on the bottom. A lot of people don't know what that means. Incumbent. What does that mean? Incumbent. They have no idea. I mean, and she's looking at him. It's like, why normalize that behavior? People know what the word incumbent means. They know like there's 743,000 people who live in Alaska. They know who the Republican incumbent is. Okay. And they have rank choice voting, which actually requires a lot of diligence instead of just basically bubbling one person. It's not confusing to anybody. Anyone who's outraged about this, I'm more outraged about James Comer's new hair dye than I'm outraged about Alaska. And when we come back, I want to also get a little bit of a look at some of the things that you're talking about. And I want to talk about some of the things that you're talking about. He also doesn't know the word resilient. Because when Donald Trump was asked by the New York Post reporter, do you think Iran's been resilient? He goes, what does resilient mean? They want to talk. They want to talk. You don't know what the word resilient means, or you're pretending not to know. And it's like, it's ridiculous. Brett and Jordi, I want to get your take on all of that. But let's go to a quick break. WTF America is our book, The Way Out of This Hell and Back to Democracy, number two on the New York Times bestsellers. Get the hard copy, get the ebook or the audio. Let's get it to number one. Love to hear your reviews. If you've read the book, will you do me a favor? Can you review the book? If you did it on audio, review it on the audio platform that you bought it from. If you got it wherever else and they allow you to review it, give a review. If you like it, give it a five. Review. The reviews, of course, help. We read every one of the reviews. So I'd love to read your review. And it helps when people see that this is an important book. And I do. I think even though this book was released before the election, it is a book that's actually not about elections. It is a book about how do we create a healthy democratic democracy, small d environment, where we can get out of this hell. And we focus on generational change, the globalist authoritarian network who want to attack. Elections and the foundation of democracy and how they are the arsonists destroy systems and then try to be like they're the ones who can fix it. That's their game plan internationally. It's what the Epstein class does. It's in the Epstein files that plan as well. We talk about that in the book. All right. Reminder, election coverage tomorrow right here on the Midas Touch Network. Scott McFarland, Katie Fang, Luke Radel and I will also and I'll be co-hosting it as well. We have a studio in D.C. I think you're going to appreciate the coverage that we are preparing for you. All right, let's take our last break and then we'll come back and then Brett and Jordi, I'll turn it over to you. Holiday gift-giving can get tough. Brett, so basically, the DOJ is being treated like Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell, as Mark Elias said right now. Yeah, I wanted to bring up that quote. I thought it was a great reply by Mark Elias, who is the attorney on these cases, and in this case, and he said, "Note, the Supreme Court has denied DOJ's application about the California election without even asking for us to respond, and it was referred to the full court. Not a single justice noted a dissent. This is unprecedented. DOJ is now being treated like Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani. The president's lawyers told SCOTUS that there's a huge emergency, and the court just shrugged and said, 'Nah,' without even hearing from the other side. This is how far this DOJ has fallen under Todd Blanch in the eyes of the court." And I think that's, you know, obviously, an important ruling to see for practical reasons before these elections, but I think it also should be a motivating ruling to people, because I think there are a lot of fears about this election out there, because Donald Trump has tried to instill fear in you, but despite all that fear, people are showing up to the polls, and it's looking like a record turnout election. So don't mind Trump. He's going to do what he's going to do, but the big point I want to hammer home is we got the smartest people on the pro-democracy side who are handling these cases. We got people like Mark Elias. We got people like Norm Eisen. We have people who actually have intelligence and know how to work these cases. So let them do their thing, and you do your part. Everybody does their part in a democracy. And the other thing, so over break, I was thinking again about Trump in front of the reflecting pool. I just, it's just really a stunning image. I mean, if you were to say, like, what is the, what's the best metaphor for Donald Trump's failed presidency? You could argue that the metaphor for the disastrous Trump presidency is the reflecting pool. In fact, we have a whole chapter in our book, WTF America, about how the reflecting pool is a metaphor for every bad thing that Donald Trump does. And so Donald Trump, the day before, decides to show up in front of the reflecting pool, in front of the physical manifestation of his disaster. You can't, you, Democrats could, I mean, this has got to be an in-kind contribution to Democrats at this point. I just can't even, I just can't even believe this. Well, look, he can't help himself. This is, that's exactly what happens, though, again, when you're surrounded yourself by a bunch of yes people who are too afraid to speak up. I believe some of the people he surrounded himself are smart. I think they're smart and evil, but I think some of them are smart. I think some of the dumber ones think they're smart. And those are probably the loudest ones in his cabinet, but yet they are all, they, they all share this one thing in common and is that they're all too cowardly to tell him, Hey, maybe let's not have it in front of, you know, the reflecting pool where you tried to have that Olympian arrested. Maybe, maybe we, maybe we don't do it there. The, you know, the one that's Ninja turtle green and maybe the closing message should, should really be more about like affordability and like, yes, this country can get back on track. If we all just stick together, not going to your Halloween party and saying, I have the richest bankers here. It's, it's the whole thing is lunacy, Benji. Sorry. Yeah. You know, and I'll say this cause you talk a lot, Jordy, about the people around him and whether they're cowardly or whether they're just different versions of him. I mean, these are also deeply demented people. But at some point also, I mean, this is about, I mean, right. It's not, it starts and stops at the top and he picked people around him, whether it's the JDs or the Hanks sense or the best sense or the Lutnik. And it's a cabinet of Epstein class, disgusting, vile creatures. And that's who they are, you know, but at the top, you have the most disgusting and vile creature of them all. And it's why character matters. And it's why I don't want to sound like a broken record or that, you know, I'm talking in the these kind of deep platitudes or these deep concepts, but it's really important because where you have corporate news gamify elections and it's who's up and who's down and you almost kind of create – you remember in video games growing up, there was a feature, right, where you could have computer assistants on and computer assistants off, right? If computer assistants on, they'd always kind of keep the games close and so you would turn computer assistants off so you could actually play the game. Maybe you have no clue what I'm talking about, but corporate news has almost been computer assistants on or Trump assistants on where they've tried to make this all seem kind of normal and it's like I don't love covering all of these rallies nor do I think you like watching all of them, but it is important for a productive democracy to open our eyes and to see how demented this behavior is. Because if you watch it and I try to make the recaps not the full two hours, I break them down. I break them down into 13, 14 minutes, sometimes less, sometimes slightly more, but you can see this behavior and it is so deeply dangerous and it is – you go back and you look at the guy's character, it's consistent with where he's been his whole life. He's bankrupted thing after thing after thing after thing. He's a felon. He's an actual felon. I don't know why we don't – like that's not mentioned. I mean the guy is a felon, dozens of felony counts. He was found guilty, unanimous jury. He's a sex predator. He's been found civilly liable. He was jailed in a federal court for sexual assault and he was scared to testify. So he hid in Europe or he went to – I think he was in Ireland when he was in Ireland or Scotland during the trial, the sex assault trial. He lied and said he was going to show up to the trial and then no showed and then the judge is like, "Is he going to show up?" Remember the Takapino? Remember the lawyer? Takapino said he's not showing up. He's just saying he's going to show up like he's not going to show up and if you look at him. He files against the BBC for $10 billion and then they say, "All right, let's take your deposition." "Oh, no. I don't want to be deposed. I don't want to be deposed," right? Whether it's the case he files against the Wall Street Journal saying that they defamed him for publishing an article that showed that he sent a letter to Epstein on his 50th birthday, right? Trump is a loser. He loses the case. He's a loser. I mean it's loss after loss. When you stand up to the guy, he doesn't win. If you look at what he's doing in Iran as well, it's a version of it. It's all part of this deeply flawed and sick and demented pathology and it's like – for our nation, again, it's like for all even like – obviously for me, we should never have been involved in this catastrophic war to begin with. But no matter what your view is, I don't know how you look at that and go, "Huh. That's what we were looking for. That's strength. That's strength." What the hell are we even doing right now? What are we doing? Donald, what – there's no strategy. There's no plan. Our military bases were all destroyed. The closest our aircraft carriers could even get to the Strait of Hormuz is 1,000 kilometers. Every day, Iran strikes more tankers. You have Iran's top leadership. Today, they met with Wang Yi in Beijing. At the same time, you had the Sultan of Oman meeting with Wang Yi, the foreign minister in Beijing. You had Moshe Razai. Another top Iranian advisor to Ayatollah Mojtaba Khomeini speaking with Putin. It's so obvious that they're planning an entirely new security architecture in the Middle East with China and Russia as the kind of security guarantors in the region as the US gets pushed out of there. You have Kim Jong-un doing more ballistic missile nuclear tests right now. You have Iran today striking, you know, one MQ-9 Reaper and then two other MQM reconnaissance drones were getting struck down, like 55 MQ-9 Reapers have been destroyed. A lot of these reconnaissance drones are being destroyed. And then Donald Trump's like, "We don't even know who their leaders are because I've killed them all." No, you didn't. I mean, you didn't. You killed their Ayatollah, you know, which was not the right decision, to be very clear. It's the stupidest decision that you could make, along with his daughter and his grandkid and his son-in-law. And other people in his house. But we know who the Iranian leadership is. I know who the IRGC leadership is. I know who runs their Navy. I know who runs their army. I know who their foreign minister is. I know who their deputy foreign minister is. I know who their president is. I know who are the top advisors to Ayatollah Mujtaba. I mean, like, you know, it takes some time to study it. In the past, I might not need to study this because you'd believe that we have a functioning State Department and we have a functioning Defense Department. But we don't. He just acts like we don't know who their people are. They're all in caves. They don't have weapons. They've got a lot of weapons. They've got probably more weapons than when the war started. Ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, missiles, anti-ship missiles. They've got upgraded drone capabilities right now. And so if you were to launch a catastrophic escalation against Iran, the response would be absolutely equally and significantly more catastrophic in the region. And it's like, what are we even, what are we doing here? Other than Donald Trump, like, enjoying the idea that the world lives or dies by like his decision and he gets off on that concept. Trump is really playing with fire here, too. And you know, behind the scenes, if you're kind of reading the tea leaves, which don't require much reading, it just requires just looking at what's happening, it really feels like Donald Trump is begging in these back channels, Iran, to please make a deal with him. And it just goes to show you all the projection when Donald Trump says they're begging for a deal, they're begging for a deal. All the information that's coming in is that Donald Trump and his negotiating team through intermediaries are begging Iran to make some sort of deal. And they were hoping that they could get something done before the midterms. And Iran, every step of the way, has just been like, nah, nope, nope, maybe later. Not right now. See you later. And it's just like a humiliation ritual after humiliation ritual for the Trump regime to do this. And so Trump's strategy. The day before the midterm is to, again, just go back to this idea, oh, we won, actually, we won. As like while Donald Trump is saying that, there are multiple tankers in the Strait of Hormuz that are being struck, and the war continues to escalate, and there's all this talk right now, okay, so if Trump escalates, then Iran's going to escalate, and they're going to attack all the other countries in the Middle East. And if Trump, and if Iran does that, then the countries in the Middle East plan on striking back at Iran, and then it's going to create this massive regional war. Once again, that's going to be a very big war. And Donald Trump just goes, we won. We won. We won. I'll show you the clip from The Reflecting Pool, which is the perfect side by side of two of his disasters from his regime, from his term, to see The Reflecting Pool behind him and him talking about his failed war with Iran. Things planned for Washington, and I could get into the nation, but for that, you don't have enough time. But I can only say that we had a war with Iran. We won. We had a war. We had a war with… We won. We won. That's the strategy. No plan. No strategy. That's it. If you say it enough times, they'll believe you. That is Donald Trump's whole methodology. You know, I'm not in the prediction business, nor am I making a prediction, especially over something so serious as what I'm about to say here, but I do grow increasingly concerned over one Donald Trump and his reactionary behavior, if you will, because it just seems like he's not in control of his own emotions, the way he snaps at female reporters, the way he snaps at reporters in general, and just how he behaves generally, assuming that there's a gigantic blue wave coming up here. I worry about, very specifically, the next 24, 48, 72 hours and the escalation of what Donald Trump will do in this war in Iran. Where could he possibly take this? I think we could actually see something pretty severe, and again, I'm not making a prediction here. That's disgusting, but it's just my own personal worry of his erratic behavior and where he's going to take these things and how quickly he can escalate this because there's just no checks right now on him at all. Yeah. I think one of the things about him, studying him, is that he's a coward and he's very scared, but the ambiguity he creates with all of this. all of his lies creates a terrain for misunderstandings where there could be an escalation that is, you know, unintended, but is, you know, misconstrued, right? I mean, the fact that our military right now is prepared for catastrophic escalation, and you've got Hegseth and this Brad Cooper, the head of CENTCOM, you know, and a lot of bloodthirsty people, specifically, you have Netanyahu, who is cornered right now, and you have Gadi Eisenkot, the opposition leader with the Yashar party, apparently working to form a government with an Arab bloc, which could push Netanyahu out of power, unless Netanyahu can try to instigate a national security incident to create kind of a national emergency government over there. And so you have all of this dynamic, and you have this weak, coward, you know, but blowhard. And that you any mistake or any whatever can lead to this kind of massive escalation. I mean, you look what Donald Trump's doing around Mar-a-Lago right now, and he's building all of these Avenger, or he's built out the system of these Avenger surface-to-air missiles to protect himself from drone and ballistic missile strikes at Mar-a-Lago while the United States coast doesn't have protection. We showed videos here on the Midas Touch network of one of the commanders of NORAD, who said we don't have any protections from drones or ballistic missiles, or cruise missiles. And so I truly believe that in Donald Trump's mind, he would like to catastrophically escalate. You know, he's a sicko. He gets off on it. I also think he's a coward. I think he's scared. I think he's a scared person. And I think he expected, just like in the litigations, that his bluffs are going to work. He's used to the bluffs working. He's used to in-out easy. Some law firms bend the knee. You could say that's similar to Delcy Rodriguez in Venezuela, right? But when you fight back, he loses. So when Iran pushes back, he loses. Or in a trade war context, there are some countries that immediately bend the knee and agree to what he wants. And then there are countries that push back. And when you push back, like Canada, and you create other structures, like Trump loses, and then he just goes, "We won. They're begging for a deal. They're begging for a deal." And I've come to the same conclusion, Jordi, that we could be very close to catastrophic escalation. And there's also no strategy. There's no plan. There's no anything, because we never should have been in this catastrophic war to begin with. And what Iran's position, which they make clear over and over again, is that we don't have any trust in a negotiation. JARED DILLIAN: Every time we've engaged in negotiations, you've escalated the war. So we have zero trust. We do an MOU, and then you didn't unfreeze the funds. You've made no efforts to try to get out of southern Lebanon. Marco Rubio immediately traveled to the Middle East to undermine the memorandum of understanding. You try to open up a southern route, which you didn't have during the war in order to get ships out. So you use the MOU as a way to achieve objectives you couldn't achieve during the catastrophic war. So Iran's position is you don't control the Strait of Hormuz. JARED DILLIAN: You may be able to smuggle out some ships, but you don't control the Strait of Hormuz. So the negotiation has nothing to do with nuclear. It's only going to be about the Strait of Hormuz. We don't want to talk about nuclear. So every time the Trump regime is like, "We'll get you even a better deal than the Obama deal for the JCPOA with nuclear capabilities," Iran's like, "Sorry, we're not talking about nuclear. There will be no nuclear conversations unless you first do our seven preconditions, and then we might have a talk about the nuclear file, but we have no interest in combining them at all. We're just not going to talk about it." So Donald Trump blusters. He threatens. He does this, that, and the other. He sends Qatari mediators and this one and that one, and Iran keeps coming back with the same message of saying, "No, we're not discussing anything relating to the nuclear file until we get these seven conditions met because we don't believe you'll do the things, and then you'll try to declare a victory. You'll try to use this to then further escalate on us." So we're not falling for it. And that's been kind of their consistent position. And Donald Trump's not used to like, "What do you do?" They're like, "No, no, no, no." And then to Brett, your point, you can see J.D. Vance sending a letter to Moshin Razai, who's the top advisor to Ayatollah Mojtaba Khomeini. And then Trump will be like, "Oh, he did it because we want to give medical supplies to the Iranians." What? He did it because we want to give medical supplies? Or you believe Moshin Razai's side of it, which is he's asking us to do a deal where we give medical supplies to the Iranians. He's asking us to do a deal where we give up nuclear, and we're not going to give up anything relating to nuclear right now until they meet our seven preconditions. What do you think the Qatari mediators are going there to talk? They're being dispatched by the United States to offer Iran what the US believes is a better deal from the perspective of a weaker, more diluted deal. Obama's deal would be stronger. But Iran's still like, "We don't trust you. We don't believe it until you do our seven conditions." So that's going on right now. But I'm also paying attention to what's going on in Beijing, where you had the top Saudi Arabian leaders. You had the top Omani leaders, the Sultan of Oman. You had a top Iranian official. They were all there meeting with Wang Yi while Moshin Razai is calling Putin. And so I'm looking at it from the standpoint of the security architecture being changed. And Donald Trump's posting memes of himself and Elvis. And it's like, "Okay. It's true. We're not a serious nation." For those on audio, I'm showing the picture of what Donald Trump is posting before the midterms, his face superimposed on Elvis. Maybe he just heard Jordy's rant, calling him a fat Elvis in the late stage of his- He's Mac Elvis. Yeah, I think he did hear that. The analysis I gave there is serious analysis. The American people can handle that, right? And we need to determine, "Okay. Well, what's the plan right here?" We obviously got involved in this catastrophic war we shouldn't have. What should we do? And I've given you my plan before. We should leave. We should leave the Strait of Hormuz. We should allow at this point, we didn't have to before, but this is the only option. Let Iran and Oman and regional powers control the Strait of Hormuz for some nominal fee or for some environmental impact fee, which will be a fraction of the cost that's taking place right now. And then what you can say is if Iran doesn't open up the Strait of Hormuz, or if they create issues, build a regional coalition, start making. It's hard because Trump destroyed all of the alliances. But then if Iran doesn't open it up, once you remove the aircraft carriers, you know what? Unfreeze the $12 billion funds. And then you can talk about a reconstruction budget in a format of investment in the region so that you could say, "Face is the United States government," but it could be kind of cooperative, and you give regional powers more power and autonomy. And that's the plan. That will work. Then we can be out of it. I don't think it looks weak. I think a deal is needed and it's done. What looks weak right now is, "Oh, we're winning. We're winning. We're winning. We control it," or that's weak. Just get out. You lost. There's a way to do this in the right way. And if Iran then controls the Strait of Hormuz after you do that, then you go, "Okay, we're building a coalition throughout the world." And now you'll be able to work with the moral authority to open it. It's simple. That's it. That's the strategy. It's actually fairly simple, but we need serious freaking people. So I leave you with that thought right there. We've got a big day tomorrow. And all I want to say is that, expect the Trump regime, especially considering just the chaos and every other aspect of this presidency, expect them to try to do the worst. Expect them to try to sow as much chaos and division, to try to pull stunts throughout the day. I already saw the Department of Justice, the Trump rapid response account, responded to a PBS tweet or something like that. And the PBS tweet was essentially just to let you know how elections are counted. It's very normal for you to go to bed at midnight on Tuesday night and not know all the results and that the results take a while to get counted. And the Trump rapid response account or whatever, they did a quote tweet or something of that and said, "Wrong, incorrect, nope, not normal." That's the kind of stuff that they want to put into the bloodstream. And that's the kind of stuff you're going to see from all these MAGA influencers, these MAGA propagandists. They're going to start pushing all this crap. They're going to start pushing, "Oh, look at the anomaly at this location and this location. And look how they're cheating here. And look, oh, of course, more ballots just dropped at midnight at 3:00 AM." They're going to pull all that crap, but we're prepared for it. You are prepared for it. 3. Trump’s false claims about winning the Vietnam War and his bizarre focus on granite, Qatari jets, and personal preferences highlight a distorted, unhinged worldview that contradicts factual reality.
  4. The Democratic response is grounded in real, pressing issues like affordability, healthcare, housing, and affordability crises, offering a constructive, people-centered alternative to Trump’s fear-mongering.
  5. The Trump regime’s attempts to bribe voters with $5,000 checks and claim power as “Mr. Veto” are exposed as transparent political tactics, making them easy to counter with public policy and messaging.
  6. Legal victories by states and courts—including Alaska, California, and D.C.—have effectively blocked Trump’s efforts to manipulate elections, reinforcing the rule of law.
