I, like, I'm stunned. I am stunned now having read the entire report on Carmelo Anthony's character issues and those of Austin Metcalf. We're going to take you through it line by line. I think your jaw is going to be on the floor by the time I'm done. That's on our second hour. First, though, more of that soap opera drama in the W. NBA last night. I mean, these these women, I think you have to be tall. You have to be a good basketball player ish. And you have to be a hot mess in order to get recruited for the W. NBA, though. If you don't meet all three of those requirements, they're really not interested in you. You got to be a show person ready to, like, call attention to yourself. Not for basketball, by the way. Not for basketball. And we're seeing that everywhere. We told you. We told you earlier this month about Ennis Cantor freedom. He's been on the program before. He's six foot ten. He was the number three pick in the 2011 NBA draft, and he played 11 seasons in the NBA. The NBA, I say earlier this month, he declared for next year's W. NBA draft, given the league has no official policy on biological males who identify as women. Cantor announced that he was going to attend last night's Indiana Fever Chicago Sky game. I mean, you have to. I have to say the names because no one has ever heard of these dumb teams. The Indiana Fever we've heard of because of Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham. And then the Sky, Chicago Sky. I mean, who the hell knows who the hell these people are? But they're throwing around these little divas and their behavior like there's no tomorrow. Sophie Cunningham, as I just mentioned, she's come out against males in the WNBA. She plays for the Fever. She and Caitlin are the two most famous people in the league. And she's the one who got, you remember, this flagrant foul. From DeJanae Carrington, the last time she played in Chicago. Such a lovely group of women, isn't it? Carrington was ejected from the game for that play. Then would run back to the locker room and tweet out white privilege. Even though she went to Stanford. Did you go to Stanford? I didn't go to Stanford. I went to Syracuse. I wasn't feeling my white privilege. She went to Stanford. She's born to an NBA star. Her mother's a professional as well, this DeJanae Carrington. She's got hair that's blonder than mine. That's not real, but she does. And down to her bottom, she's all glammed up with her Stanford degree. And we'd like you to know how smart she is. But hashtag white privilege. Okay. I don't know about you, but I didn't grow up with a dad who was an NBA star. In fact, my dad died when I was a teenager. A lot of people who happen to be white. Have very difficult childhoods. They lost a parent or they didn't come from money or they had absolutely no shot at a scholarship to Stanford. So S-T-F-U, DeJanae. But she was not the problem on the Chicago Sky over the weekend. It was one of her teammates. Apparently, they're all nightmares. From the beginning yesterday, Cantor Freedom ran into trouble. All right. He showed up. And here's what happened. Here's what happened as he entered the arena. Bitch ass nigga. Bitch ass out of Chicago. I'm not touching him. I'm just saying fuck you, bitch. You were sorry in the league. Sorry ass. You wouldn't even do good in this league. You were sorry ass. Fuck ass. You were good. Sorry. No, you ain't good. You ain't good here. You ain't good here. You got the police with you. Man, you're a kid. Okay. That's a bunch of dudes out there who should be on his side. I'm like, I don't know. What's the dude's problem? They don't want him showing up and standing up for women's rights. For the listening audience, Cantor Freedom was wearing a shirt that read, quote, woman, noun, adult, human, female. I believe he got that from Kelly J. Keene, Posey Parker, also known as Posey Parker, because she sells that on her website, which you should definitely go to and get. So at first, the game was uneventful with Cantor taking in the action. Without drawing too much attention. And then around the end of the third quarter, this happened after Chicago Sky guard, Natasha Cloud, celebrated after making a layup. Watch. Six point basketball game. Chicago staying in it. Natasha Cloud. And right before the break, this was the scene inside Wintrust Arena after Natasha Cloud got that bucket. She wanted her voice heard. We have talked about the conversations surrounding the W. That is Enos Cantor in the building today. And he has voiced how he's felt about the situation. Natasha Cloud voicing her opinion as well. Cantor was just escorted out. Because his opinion is not allowed at the WNBA. You must be escorted out if you think men should not be allowed to play in a women's league. At least if you're at a WNBA game. Who is still supporting this league? Honestly, who is going to these games supporting these women? Outkick spoke with Cantor Freedom after the game. Here's how he describes what happened. It was towards the end of the third quarter. And Sophie Cunningham shot it. And I put my hands up to celebrate, right? Literally, a couple of positions later, Natasha came back and started screaming and yelling and said, she's not going to sleep with you. And I was like, I am not trying to sleep with her. I'm just here to protect women and support her. And then obviously, after that, she started yapping and she started to walk towards me and look at me. And literally, I just got up and then I was like, I'm just here to protect women and that's all, right? And then she started to yell. She started to use some very heavy language. She started to actually cuss. And I was very shocked that there was that there were a lot of kids and that there were a lot of teenagers was at that game. And I just cannot believe that she was just cussing and using those F-bombs in front of all these kids. Very classy. By the way, in the video, what we saw for the listening audience was she was reacting to him being in the crowd. She seemed to be saying something to him. And then he just stood up with his arms out, almost like Jesus-like, and just stood there. He wasn't threatening her. He wasn't like coming down, clamoring to get at her. He was standing there with his arms out, like kind of like, OK, here I am. Take your best shot, rhetorically speaking. Now, here's Cantor Freedom on getting kicked out of the game. Then after that, the security guy, you know, came and then I was like, listen, you need to leave. I was like, can you please tell me why do I need to leave? They said, look, we just you just need to leave. And then they literally I don't want to say they dragged me, but like they pretty much like pushed me to leave the gym. And then after that, I had a conversation with the police officers, which I respect a lot. You know, I was like, listen, I was just there to protect. It's not allowed. We disapprove. It's have at women in the WNBA. You can try to kill Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham. When you get ejected for doing it, they'll tweet white privilege and people will be on their side. The assaulters, anybody who stands up for women will become persona non grata and be fair game for these flagrant fouls or get ejected from the game or get harassed. By coaches, we've seen young young women show up in the X, X, X, Y athletics shirts made by Jennifer say get berated, harassed. You wear a shirt that reads women, adult human females. You get kicked out. In this case, this cloud super tough to get and his freedom thrown out like he was coming for her. No, it was the other way around. She did not speak after the game. I'm sure it's only a matter of time, but she did post on threads quote to every trans kid slash person. You are a part of my community and tribe. You belong. You're loved. You're seen. You're perfect as you are. Hello. That's what our side has been saying. You don't have to cut off your penis. You don't have to cut off your breasts. God doesn't make mistakes. And she goes on. You will always be. Protected by me. Oh, you're so tough. How about protecting the young girls? who actually don't have that many protectors out there. How about them? You're going to protect everybody? How about them? And here's what her coach, Tyler Marsh, had to say. I haven't talked to Tosh. I know that she was, well, I talked to the team. And, you know, Tosh didn't want to feel like she was a distraction. I told her she wasn't. I told her that we all embrace her as someone that protects our team and protects people that need to be protected. And so Tosh is always going to stand on that. And we stand for Tosh. Do little girls need to be protected? What about them? Does she stand for them? Asking for the little girls of America. Tasha, I love how much you want to stand up for people who need it. That's wonderful. How about the little girls? How about the girls who play basketball, who are getting punched in the stomach and thrown to the ground so badly that they have injuries that are game-ending? Do we stand for that? Huh? I'll wait. Coach Marsh also took a shot at Cantor Freedom because, of course. There's so much good things about this league and so many good things about the play of these players that if you come to a game, you should probably come to enjoy the basketball. And that seems pretty simple. To me, I think these players deserve that and have earned that. And being a former basketball player, you should probably understand and feel that, too. Yes, he's there to support them. He wants to be recruited to join them. That's how supportive he is. He wants to play alongside them, coach. You should recruit him. The girls on your team clearly don't mind. Tasha is saying she's all in favor of it. Don't be dumb. You can get Cantor Freedom on your team this year and then Tasha will have an ally in her trans battle. Kaitlyn Clark says she didn't see the confrontation. Oh, of course. She's never paying attention to anything that happens in her league. And her coach, Stephanie White, remember Stephanie White? Banging on the table! When they go low, we go high! We're going to lead with kindness! Go! Remember that, Stephanie White? She urged the media not to cover it. Watch. To be honest, I didn't see it. We were talking about it the next play in our huddle. So I think that's probably a question for Chicago. Do you guys have any point in the game? Mm-mm. You just have to ask about having to deal with this again in another game as you guys are getting done playing a great basketball game, but another time where we're talking about this and not what's happening on the court. I mean, I think it's important. I think it's important that people like you guys in this room don't give it any gas, right? Like, it's a social media thing. It is true that it would be nice just to be able to talk about the game, I guess. I mean, for the four people who are watching it. Clark scored 37 points. She hit a career-high eight three-pointers and handed out 10 assists in the Fever's 113-90 win. Too bad everyone hates her league. But it's hard to focus on the sport when last week the Toronto Tempo, pulled the following stunt. They debuted a new mascot, a non-binary something. What is that? I don't know what it is. It's a snapping turtle, I guess, named Dez, who uses she-they pronouns. All right, so that's one of their own teams in their league. So I think Stephanie needs to call her fellow coaches and teams and say, we're either not going to make this a spectacle or we are. Stephanie is the one who held a whole presser about herself two weeks ago. This is, it's not the media making this a story. It's her ridiculous players and coaches and herself. I mean, I have never seen a more contemptible group of athletes all joined together under the same roofs. I've had it with the WNBA. I've had it with Caitlin Clark. I don't care about her. I don't care about any of these women, their antics. None of them except for Sophie Cunningham standing up for actual girls and yet playing the victim at every turn. And the theatrics at every turn. I mean, honestly, if I wanted this, I'd be tuning in to Days of Our Lives. I don't need to get it in clips from my sports. Hold on. Which I don't watch anyway. Megan, you're suggesting that there's an organization made up almost entirely of women and no one gets along and there's a little bit of emotional dysregulation. This is the first I'm hearing of it. I don't believe it at all. This was always in there. Most people are noticing it for the first time now because, as you rightly pointed out, this is the first time that basically anyone, anyone has been paying attention to the WNBA. All of these ladies giving the pressers after in many ways should be very grateful to conservatives on social media because we're the only people who are who are watching this thing. When it comes to who actually shows up to these games, the answer is basically nobody, which is why the WNBA has to be subsidized by the NBA. And then this brings us to the heart of the question, which Inez Cantor freedom is provoking here. But the only reason he can keep provoking it is because the WNBA refuses to give a satisfactory answer. And the question is, is the WNBA going to keep the men out of the women's sports? The WNBA only exists to give women the opportunity to play basketball at the professional level. One of those coaches there said that it's unfortunate that people are making political statements. You know, they just show up to the WNBA to watch great basketball. That's not true. The WNBA is not great basketball because women are not that good at basketball. Those women are better than other women at basketball. But the NBA is way better at basketball. That's in fact, that is why the WNBA has to be a separate league. It's true. So it's true. I mean, why? I'm like, it is not non-feminist to say what's real. This is not exciting to watch. These are pathetic examples of womankind. I would never want my daughter to turn out like any of them, any one of them. I don't know what to put her in front of if I want her to. I'm not going to emulate something on television. It's certainly not going to be like the UN hearings. It's not going to be Congress. It's for the most part not going to be media, though there are still a few women in media who I love and admire. But it's like it's certainly not going to be this collection of diva narcissists who honestly they're they're in this for one thing. And that's their own glory. Yes. The problem for the WNBA on this issue is that they can't just brush it away. I mean, I know the American left broadly wishes this issue would go away. It's part of the reason the conservatives keep harping on it. This is the biggest loser issue for Democrats that we have seen probably in our entire lifetimes. They got clobbered in twenty twenty four over it. They're trying to run away from it. They're trying to rebrand woke one point. It was crazy, they say. Now we're in what woke to point out. But they can't articulate what is different about woke to point out. So the WNBA could shut this down tomorrow. The Democrats at the political level could shut this down tomorrow. They could just say, yeah. It was nuts. Transgenderism was crazy. We're going to exclude that. Obviously, men can't become women. Obviously, men shouldn't play in the WNBA. That would just abolish the WNBA, wouldn't expand it at all. But they can't say that because their own ideology leads necessarily to it. And I think the issue with the WNBA in particular, not to make it personal or to pry into the personal lives of the players, but the WNBA includes a lot of women who prefer other women, it's got there a lot of lesbians in the WNBA. Oh, yeah. And so they can't run away from LGBT ideology. On the one hand, it seems absurd to suggest that there's going to be a WNBA mascot who is gender nonconforming. The whole point of the league is that it's a gender. It's just women. But because the league has so openly embraced gender nonconformity, you know, the breaking of sexual norms, they can never exclude the transgender ideology. So Inez Cantor, freedom is always going to be able to get up on his soapbox there. And the WNBA is just not going to be able to defend itself. The business with the turtle is really just such a middle finger to everybody. They couldn't. Now, finally, we get two guys who are willing to put this to the test. Okay, we got it. We heard you. You don't care if the players are actual females. You stand with everybody. Day, she, whatever they are calling this person, this turtle as their mascot. Dez, okay. We get it. Now, if it's true, let these two guys actually play. Let them, draft them onto one of your teams. Michael, if they're so pro allowing this to happen, gender doesn't matter. We're just inclusive. Why won't they let Ennis and the other guy, what's his name? Royce White, play in the WNBA? Because they weren't able to come up with a rule that would determine whether they'd be allowed or not. They're really struggling with what the rule should be. And you and I both know they're never going to let these two join a WNBA team. No, they can't. I mean, the fact is the WNBA knows at a very basic level that men and women are different. They know that men are better athletes than women, basically across the board. They understand the reason for the league's existence, but their audience doesn't want to admit it. A lot of their players don't want to admit it. They have intrinsically, I guess, as a sort of feminist project, embraced the woke ideology. And what the woke ideology says, if you, if you, if you really scratch these guys after a couple of drinks, it's not that they're really laboring under the delusion that men can become women. What they're really arguing is that it is better to lie. That if we lie about men becoming women, if we lie about sports, if we lie about whatever, if we lie, that will make people happier. That will be better for certain people. That the truth, in other words, is cruel and enslaving, which is a total inversion of how we've traditionally thought about this, which is that lies are very bad for you and that the truth will set you free. They just, they just flip that. And so they know you don't need to convince them that Inez Cantor freedom isn't a woman. They just are angry that Inez Cantor freedom won't lie. They're angry that the rest of us won't lie as well. And, and I think it clearly lost the common sense for them broadly in, in the election. And when the left comes to us then and says, well, you guys don't even like women's sports. My answer is you're right. I don't like women's sports. I don't care about it. I don't women's tennis is sometimes kind of interesting to watch, I guess. Uh, but they're not, the male tennis players are way better. If the women want to have sports leagues, good for them. If they want to exercise like great, you know, ladies have at it, get scholarships. Good for you. I, the reason I care about this issue has nothing to do with women's sports. I barely care about men's sports. The reason I care about this issue is, is justice. I mean, that's what I think is so offensive to normal people. It is wrong for giant dudes to beat up women in sports. It's wrong for them to take their trophies and their scholarships. We praise upon vulnerable women. And so that's the reason we don't want it. And they have no answer to that. The, um, issue of course goes well beyond the WNBA. And that's one of the reasons why we are interested because people like you and yours truly, and many others have been trying to stop this nonsense for quite some time. And just when you think we're making progress, you see a situation like this, which is just like some weird woke crock pot of what would happen if we remove all the Michael Knowles is from the world and the Matt Walsh is, and me and everybody who's been fine. If we just removed all of us, this is what you'd wind up with leagues everywhere and schools and so on like this, where it's just woke ideology run amok. And I wanted to tell you something. So a friend of mine is, um, right now looking at California universities. Okay. And, um, this like the online applications, you know, that you have to fill out. And this was the dropdown menu on the pronoun. Okay. Which you have to, you have to fill out the, this is the dropdown menu. I mean, it used to be she and he right now it is just get comfortable co slash co-self a M airs like E I R S like th like there's without the th and they, without the th a M airs, he, him, his is still on there. Z Zem Zers Z Y R S and Z E is Z Z E M V VIR Viz V E V I R V I S V VIR VERS. Okay. Don't. Okay. She, her, hers. There it is. Okay. There's one. I don't have pronouns. There's one declined to select. We're not done. Knee, nem, nears, N I R S Faye fair F A E F A E R option. Not listed. How the hell can it not be listed? It it's they, them, theirs may mayor MERS M E R slash M E R S and per pers P E R slash P E R S. And apparently the M E R M E R S is for mermaids just to be super medical condition inclusive. This is an actual dropdown menu that people applying college have to sort through and check in order to be considered for admission at some of these universities. Michael, how, how do we even begin to deal with these people to, to argue and logic with them? First, we need to add a few more options because I can't help but notice they excluded he, her, uh, in other words, that one is a male in the nominative declension, but a woman in the nominative. So right there, that's an obvious exclude one. I am a male subject, but a female object or vice versa. Obviously you have to add a lot more to that. The option not provided option, not provided. And then MERS and then who knows what other sort of pathologies. PERS. Yes. Uh, the, the real political story on all of this to me after peak woke of 2022, 2023 is that the left knows this is a total loser for them. And the Democrat candidates, when they hit the trail, they run away from this stuff and they got absolutely clobbered and they know Gavin Newsom when he's on his stupid podcast and this issue comes up, he tries to downplay it. He knows that it's a huge vulnerability. So then the next question is, well, why don't they just get rid of it? AOC comes out and says, woke one was crazy. I think we can all admit woke one was crazy. And the obvious follow-up question is, oh yeah. How, how so? Yeah. What about it? It was crazy. And you'll quickly, what do you disavow? Yes. You'll quickly find the answer is nothing. And I did not to take too much credit as an Ulster Dama seeing the future, but I did kind of predict this would happen a few years ago, which is everyone said that transing the kids was nuts. You know, that was kind of the straw that broke the camel's back. And there were some people who wanted to just go back a little further, which is okay. Well, we'll just trans the adults, but not the kids. So we won't have the ZM Zibbity Dop on the 17 year old college application, but, but for a 25 year old, that's a different story. And then that's my pronoun. Cause I'm kind of jazzy, you know, I'm very old timey. My pronouns are 23 skidoo. But anyway, it goes, if you kind of zoom back a little bit, you realize that just as we had to get to transing the kids because the left had adopted a gender ideology that really goes back to feminism, feminism saying that men and women are basically the same. Once you establish that and you really hold to that as some kind of, unshakable truth, then all of a sudden, well, if men and women are basically the same, then we need to have the gay rights movement because those behaviors, which are gender non-conforming or gender deviant, well, we just have to apply them. And then you're probably going to get to redefining marriage because men and women are basically the same. So why would marriage just be between a man and a woman that they're interchangeable? And once you get to gay marriage, the human rights campaign, which was the biggest pro gay marriage organization in the United States, which was in part, so the money wouldn't dry up, but also because that was the inexorable logic of, of that gender ideology. And then once you establish transgenderism, you got to trans the kids. What it's, it's a transgenderism is true. It's a fact of human nature, but only once on your 18th birthday, that doesn't make any sense. So just as you saw this kind of inexorable movement, I'm getting so worked up. I'm knocking my microphone over, but, but just like the inertia of, of that physical object, you get this logic moving all the way over to transing the kids. The minute you crack that, which is what happened in 2022, 2023, you're going to start moving back in the opposite direction. And I think you've seen this in a big shift in public opinion, all the way down to a public support for same-sex marriage is really declining pretty, pretty rapidly. Why is that? Because, okay, if the principle was wrong, then we got to go in the other direction. And for these left-wing organizations, notably the California universities, they can't because they still believe it. They still believe the premise. And so they're, they're going to deny it. And so they're going to deny it. And so they're going to deny it till they die to quote my old pals in New York. You know, they're, they're, they're really holding firm to this. And so woke 2.0 is it's just going to be woke 1.0, but a little bit more deceptive. We're just going to try not to talk about it as much, but those issues that we thought we defeated a few years ago, they remain as alive today as they ever were. I think that's absolutely right. And shame on that. And Jonathan Carl of ABC news who let her get away with that nonsense. All right. Forging forward, the two grifters of Montecito are now moving back to the UK. God, our prayers are answered. They're going to be somebody else's problem now. And it hit over the weekend that the reason, reports Tina Brown, who's a longtime reporter in the entertainment field, and she's got sources in the UK on the Royals. The reason, at least in part, that they chose to do it, she reports, is that the Duchess of Duplicity was well into negotiations for a job, an acting job, in a Guy Ritchie project called The Gentleman, which is in its second season now, or it's about to premiere its second season. Whether it has a third season is actually still up in the air. But there was a negotiation, a discussion underway about if they get a third season, whether Meghan Markle might have a role in it. And no sooner had she reported that than the Hollywood Reporter came out with a report saying, it's not happening, saying there's been too much backlash already. There's no role for Meghan Markle in this project or really any other right now. I believe that's the sequence. I think it was the Hollywood Reporter that reported the meltdown. Hold on, let me just make sure. But it's off. Basically, the bottom line is it's off. She won't be getting the job. And honestly, you tell me, Michael, whether anybody should consider hiring one or both of these grifters after we get, for example, a report in The New York Times over the weekend pointing out that all they did for that $20 million from Spotify was that one 11 or 12 episode archetypes that Meghan Markle put out that no one listened to, that offered not a single profundity. It was just her practicing her woke little platitudes on D-list, celebrities who agreed to come on. And so that's why you have Bill Simmons calling them effing grifters. Netflix at least got that one docu-series or whatever it was, that one movie of the two of them and Megxit leaving the royal family. That was it. That's all they got. And so turn after turn, they have taken people's millions only to disappoint. And I just think, A, you're going to get a grifter who's going to take advantage of you. And B, you are going to get blowback because no one likes these two. And we do not want to watch her or him, frankly, on any screen, large or small. Yeah, that's the big message to the showbiz people, which is, no, of course you can't hire her or both of them because they're box office poison. So, you know, they got the big deal. They got the big Netflix deal and it didn't work out. So just at a basic business level, no, in the field that Meghan Markle decided to blow up the royal family in order that she could pursue it, they haven't worked. So they're fleeing Southern California now. But forget about show business for a second. Just think about any business. I could not hire those two to hold up a sandwich board on the side of the highway to tell people to buy Mayflower cigars. And the reason that I would not hire them for that job and no one really could hire them for any job is they've demonstrated that they are deeply untrustworthy. They they have revealed secrets about their family or perhaps even made up stories about their family. They have attacked their family in their grandmother's dying days, the late great Queen Elizabeth. They they have proven to be duplicitous. And so you really can't trust them in those things. And now they don't know what to do. So they're running home. This is great news for Americans. I send my condolences to His Majesty King Charles. I'm sure this is going to make his life much more difficult. And poor William, you know, is Prince William now is looking at an aging father who is ill. He's preparing to. Ascend the throne. He now has the villainous brother coming back with the wicked witch wife. And you know, this is really something out of a fairy tale. And usually those stories don't end up very well. But the saddest part of the whole saga really didn't have to be this way because Prince William and Prince Harry famously had a good relationship and they had so much public support after their mother was killed and they could have had a good life. And, you know, Harry had this military career and a lot of public popularity. And he marries this woman who clearly has more than a screw loose. And the woman was an actress. In other words, she grew up watching Disney movies, wanting to be a princess. And then she played a princess on TV. And then she won the lottery. She actually got to be a real princess. And what did she decide? She decided she would prefer to play a princess on TV. She'd rather be a pretend princess than a real one. And this, I think, has deep political importance. import for a lot of people, which is a lot of people, they want the appearance of the thing. They want all the benefits of the thing. They want the adulation. They want the fame. But they don't want to actually do the job. I know in America, we have kind of an allergy to the royal family and to aristocracy. But I'm an Anglophile and I have great respect for them because to be a royal and to actually do that job requires immense sacrifice. You don't get to start your own business. You don't get to go be an artist. You don't get to go. You don't get to follow your passion and your dream. You have to serve the country from the minute you're born. People are criticizing you. Think about Princess Anne. Princess Anne has gone to over 20,000 royal engagements, official engagements over the course of 56, 57 years. She is constantly working. And the royal engagements are not all champagne balls and dancing. They're mostly cutting ribbons outside of shop openings in the middle of nowhere, England. And she does it in order to serve the country. And she does it in order to serve her people. And that was obviously the attitude of Queen Elizabeth. That's not all that glamorous. You get to live in a castle and you get to wear a tiara sometimes. But really, the reason to be a princess, to be a queen, to be a royal, is to serve the people. And when Meghan Markle figured that out, there was a Meghan Markle-shaped hole in the wall of Buckingham Palace. She said, oh, I don't want any of that. I just want people to, you know, admire me. I wanted to be super famous. Yes. And you know what? If you just want to be famous in a really super official way, go back to Hollywood. And then the real tragedy for her is she gave up the Hollywood career to do the real thing. She hated doing the real work. She goes back to Hollywood. And as a result, she's lost it all, including all of the popularity she so desperately sought. It's hard because now, like, people could watch her in that show's suits and think, oh, she's a good Rachel, whatever she was, a paralegal. Now, all you see is Meghan Markle, who blew up the royal who stole a prince of England, who called an entire country that had been nothing but good to her racist, who helped kill the queen by putting her through hell her last couple of years on earth, who didn't care when Prince Philip, the queen's husband, was in the hospital, potentially dying. As it turns out, he did die and was dying by smearing some unknown royal as a racist within the family. So the racism thing has been repeated with them. That's all we see. And then somebody who at every turn cries victim, poor me, poor me, not to mention her disaster tourism and her bullying nature where everybody works for her quits. She thinks nothing of reducing woman after woman to tears who work for her because her standards are just so high. But she's all about the women. She's super high feminist. And now, OK, now she's doing it again, Michael, because she wants to return to the UK just at the time when Princess Kate has just relative recently recovered from cancer. You know, she also went through cancer. We believe they've never like said explicitly what Kate actually had. But we we we believe we know it's cancer. We just don't know what kind. And so this young mom of three children of her own who has been doing the ribbon cuttings, the civic center openings, standing outside in the rain to do the photo op and her duty, she's just going to add more stress to that young woman's life. She's got Meghan Markle's got to elbow her way into the photo op. She wants attention. She can't get it here because we're sick of those two. And she's going to go back there where they do have an affinity for royalty. And she knows, thanks to her husband's actual princely blood, they have to pay some attention to her. She couldn't care less about the stress she's about to cause. Yes, her sister in law and her father in law, too. Who is now going to have to deal with these two warring factions. The Telegraph today was printing what what's going to happen at Christmas when they do like their annual walk on camera from the church service back to the castle? You know, are these two going to try to glom in? What's going to happen on the first day of school when little Archie's going at the same time? Prince George, the future king, is going to heat to Eaton. Where do the paparazzi go? Who do they cover? You know, because the shot of Archie will sell a million magazines, because we haven't seen his face. But this is the future king. Like all this shit will be very stressful for the royals. It won't be good for the royals. But in the end, it's all about those two. So they don't care. And you have to wonder what their next business move is going to be. When you look at it through the lens of business, the move back to the UK makes perfect sense because they had been living on their royal allowance and then they decide to leave the country. And that's what's going to happen in the future. And that's what's going to happen in the his grandmother's life of misery and his whole family's life of misery. And so he spills a bunch of dirt. They get totally cut off from the royal family. And so now what are they going to do? The only business opportunity available to them is to keep dissing their own flesh and blood. But the only way that they're going to be able to get the dirt to even try to sell to the press is if they go back to the UK and they get back in the mix. So to me, it's an obvious business decision. It's just so nasty. If this move could actually bring bring about some unity and reunion in the royal family, I guess that would be a good thing. But the problem is there is absolutely no reason to believe that that is the case. It's just it's just more trouble. If you know, Meghan Markle, she's ours. I mean, we made her. She's American, I'm sorry to say. Sometimes I think she's a biological weapon concocted at Langley by the CIA in order to destroy the British royal family, because. Everything she's done has been to that end. So that's that's a great line. And and to your point, there is some renewed there's renewed reporting now from The New York Post. And just to clarify what I said at the top, Tina Brown reported that she had the job offer or was in advanced talks to join Guy Ritchie's The Gentleman. Tina Brown reported that it was off, that the public backlash was too fierce and wrote this does not bode well for Meghan's acting comeback in the UK. So there's a report, though, out in The New York Post about how Meghan Markle allegedly pushed even harder than we knew to be considered to fill Kamala Harris's U.S. Senate seat when she became Joe Biden's running mate and then eventually vice president. She asked for a meeting, reports The Post, with Governor Gavin Newsom and made the hard pitch. And I'm sure she said, I'm Californian and I'm black, just like Kamala Harris. And so I would be such a logical choice to slide into that seat. Her team denied it to The New York Post. Gavin Newsom's team made no comment, which is, I think, very telling. That means it's true, in my opinion. And he knew there was zero chance he should give this no nothing deal or no deal spokesmodel a U.S. Senate seat. And then also another. Report that she and Harry were dying to go visit President Biden when he was in office and they wanted to stay at the property where dignitaries stay or like an ambassador from a foreign country will stay at her house. And the Biden White House was smart enough to say we're not doing that. Absolutely not. It's a bad look. We're going to piss off the royal family, the probably 10 downing across the pond, not to mention millions of Americans and Brits who. I can't stand these two, but she clearly has tried to elbow her way into politics only to be denied twice by Democrat politicians. Never mind what a Republican would do to this grifter. It's just so backward. I mean, think about this. You are a princess. You're a pretty senior royal. You did it. You bagged the prince. This is your fairytale life. And you want to trade that in to be a senator that that actually is that's supposed to be a downgrade. And then the most extreme version, of course, is she wants to trade that in to be an actress. It's just people substituting lower goods for higher goods, which is kind of the story of modernity. And so she in many ways, Meghan Markle is the voice of a generation. It makes perfect sense. And had she made it to Capitol Hill, frankly, they would have deserved her. You know, there are a lot of miscreants on Capitol Hill. So in some ways, that would have been a match made in heaven. But it's just so sad. It's the story of people who get everything backwards. They're constantly trading loyalty to their family. For the affection of a capricious public, they're trading service and the dignity of work for the illusion or the appearance of work and the appearance of importance. It's just they're they're just mortgaging the things that really matter for illusory goods that disappear. And I think this is their big shock is people are supposed to love them, but the people don't love them, period. Yeah, they just don't, you know. And so now they have to figure out what it is that they do. The fact that they're moving back to the UK reminds me of a line that a recovering alcoholic buddy of mine told me. It really stuck with me. He learned it in A.A. And the line is, wherever you go, there you are. That's where you are. You can't escape your problems. You know, you might get a nice vacation in Tahiti, but there you are. All of your problems are still there. And whatever issues the Markles have, Mr. and Mrs. Markle have, and they are many, it's not going to be resolved by yet another move back across the pond. Listen to this, Michael. This is her. Markle on speaking of Bloomberg in August of 2025. Listen here. How important is it to own your own story? It's the most important thing in the world. Do you feel like you own your own story? I know I do. And if you know me, you know that I do. When you anchor into your own knowing, then you're telling your own story. Is there an inherent tension in trying to be relatable while also being a duchess? No. No. I don't find, I'm just being myself. So I think probably it was different several years ago where I couldn't be as vocal and I had to wear nude pantyhose all the time. Just to be honest, that was not very myself. That's a silly example, but it is an example of when you're able to dress the way you want to dress and you're able to say the things that are true, you're able to say the things that are true, and you're able to show up in the space really organically and authentically. That's being comfortable in your own skin. She wore crown jewels to her wedding and was walked down the aisle by the future king of England. And she wants us to feel sorry for her because she had to wear pantyhose, Michael Knowles. I can't with this woman. She says the most important thing is owning your own story. First of all, what is Meghan Markle's story? What is the story? She was an actress and then she bagged a prince. That's the story. But even beyond that, she gave up her whole career to get married. Yeah. So super feminist. Yeah, right. Of course. And but then even let's just examine the philosophical premise. The most important thing is owning your own story. I would say something more important than that is doing good. I don't know. Helping others, giving God the worship that he deserves and enjoying him forever. Like there are many, many things that are more important. Like a good breakfast is more important than owning your own story. What does that even mean? But notice with her, it always comes back to the self. I mean, that's what she hated about royal life. It always comes back to the self. You remember that clip? It was so repulsive. I think this is where she really lost everybody. She was asked about meeting the queen and she's sitting there in front of her poor husband and she starts making fun of the fact that people curtsy before the queen. She's laughing about it. Oh, your majesty. Ha ha ha. Mocking this very important woman, beloved woman and the queen of England for for. Giving her life to service to her country. And just there you thought, oh, it's really so good to her. Yes, she was so good. And you think this is really just all about you. But part of growing up, we hope is learning that life is actually about more than just you, that actually your your life can improve by making it less about yourself. You know, a man wrapped up in himself makes a small package indeed. And if at any of these moments she would have tried to put anybody ahead of herself, be that her husband or her new in-laws, her own family, her community, her her subjects or the subjects of her relatives when she was in the UK. Had she ever done that, she might have actually found that life is better and she she might have much more of a story, much more of a story worth telling. But the idea that you have to own this story, I mean, it comes right out of John Milton in Paradise Lost, that it's better to reign in hell than to serve in heaven, that the mind is its own place and it can make a hell of heaven or heaven a hell. You know, that's a really amazing declaration from Satan. But you're not supposed to take advice from Satan. That is not the recipe for a good life. Yeah, that's there for a warning not to follow. Here's one more from that same interview. It's not 10. What is it about Montecito? Like what made this place feel like home more than other places? Well, we moved here five years ago. Oh, we're just so happy because we can take our kids to school and have a really supported, sweet life running around and doing the things that I think everyone maybe is part of your day to day. But if you don't think about what life would be like without those moments, it's easy to take them for granted. So I love it. We have such a beautiful embracing community. Yeah, I've been able to really create and dream here. So what happened? That was just 12 months ago. Their wonderful, beautiful life in Montecito, where they can take their kids to school and they have their beautiful community, totally curated by Meghan Markle, the beekeeper. What happened, Michael Knowles? What's your theory on Montecito? And why they're fleeing? What did they create? Before I figure out what changed, I have to know what happened even while Flower sprinkles. Yeah, I can't. I can't figure out. She says, I'm dreaming. OK, what are you dreaming of? She's dreaming of herself. What we're creating. What did you create? You created some kids. That's great. And you should be doing what's best for you. But what are you what did you create? I know you're going to do podcasts or whatever, but it didn't work out. And so what is that? And what they've what they discovered is this. It was not fruitful. This life that they had in Montecito was not fruitful. And so they're going to try to do something in the UK. But in order to be the dreamer creator, you have to dream about something. You have to create something. You need to have some goal that is good and admirable. And they still don't have an answer for it. All they have is a plane ticket. No, she just continues to call herself a founder and think it's going to get her a U.S. Senate seat, a Hollywood role, our admiration. And it just doesn't work that way. We know you're a grifter. You use Netflix's money to set up your little company as ever. And even they have now apparently abandoned her. The New York Times takedown of these two over the weekend is well worth the read. So as I mentioned, The New York Times took took them down over the weekend. What a departure, by the way, from where they used to be in 2018. The headline in The New York Times was, As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wed, a new era dawns. Contrast that with, Saturday's headline, which is Harry and Meghan see their California dreams and riches fade away. Then they talk about how their foray into podcasting did not. It did not go well. They signed this 20 million dollar deal with Spotify in 2020, but only produced one season of Archetypes, as I mentioned, which was a ridiculous podcast in which this woman who's accomplished nothing, who's done nothing, wanted to lecture us all on what female empowerment means. I mean, it was just absurd. Go do something. Anything. You got married. That's great. Most people do it. It doesn't make you special. That doesn't give you the right to lecture the rest of us on anything like your stupid commercial that like when she was a kid that she wrote into Dove or somebody on how like they shouldn't show women wiping counters. OK, you can't make a lifetime out of that. I'm sorry to tell you. Anyway, so that was it for 20 million dollars. And that podcast did not do well. At all. So Spotify, they report behind the scenes, was desperately trying to get them to produce something else, anything to justify these millions. And we always wondered, you know, we kind of had a feeling why Bill Simmons caught because he's over at Spotify and part of the executive team. Why did he call them effing grifters? I mean, we kind of know, but like what specifically? And now they report as follows in The Times. Harry never made anything. So, despite workshopping ideas with the company for a year, one idea, said one person close to the couple, was, wait for it, taste testing hot chocolate around the country. This was apparently too laborious for Harry or something because he rejected it. By the way, they also include this ditty. In 2023, Jeremy Zimmer, then head of United Talent Agency, which is a big, talent agency for Hollywood people and for media people, sat for an interview at the Con Lion Marketing Festival with Semaphore and was asked about the Spotify deal with those two after it fizzled and defined the problem. Quote, this is from this guy featured in The New York Times. Turns out Meghan Markle was not a great audio talent or necessarily any kind of talent. And, you know, just because you're famous doesn't make you great at something. Ah, can you imagine these two sitting in Montecito reading a book? Reading this piece, what this would have done to her ego? Okay, but then more. This is from Vanity Fair, which had earlier reported on the hot chocolate thing in 2025. They write that there was a former Spotify employee commenting on this, saying when Harry came to Los Angeles and the LA office of Spotify once and asked for a cup of cocoa, they had none. So employees scrambled to obtain some. An idea was pitched to Harry. What if he reviewed a hot chocolate every week while chatting with a different friend, which he and his team considered and rejected? Good move, frankly. Another concept was that Harry would fix something every week, ranging from a flat tire to global warming. A person inside the couple's circle said he looks like the kind of guy who would frankly happily work for charities for the rest of his life. Went on from there. Here's what I think, though. Here's what I think. Okay, so the people who are going to be at Spotify had wacky ideas about what he could do for a podcast. And he rejected them, which was smart, because those would not have worked. But in all the time, he did nothing. That's where he landed. I'll just do nothing. I won't earn. It's unclear to me whether they got the 20 mil up front and then he just didn't work for it, or if it would have been doled out per project, and he just wasn't willing to do anything in order to actually earn money. earn a paycheck. check, you know, like the rest of us, like all normal people who aren't royal, which he says he doesn't want to be, right? He's done with that life. Okay. Then you have to work. It's called a J-O-B. Most of us have one and we work hard. I mean, those of us who actually want to please our employers or pay our bills or raise our children or take a vacation, that's what normal people do, Harry. That's what they do. So to me, it's very interesting because I think what you have here is the ultimate spoiled brat, right? Every generation that makes it, you know, where you have a successful set of parents, one or both parents have done well in their careers and or earned a lot of money, wants the next gen to still do better and worries that their success might result in apathy amongst the next gen. They need that fire in the belly. You know, like I wasn't poor when we were being raised, but we certainly didn't have extra spending money. And as a child of the 80s, I really loved those 80s clothes. And I really, really wanted to be able to buy clothes if I wanted them, or this is my teenage fantasy. I mean, I've since matured, but that was a motivator for me. You know, I'm going to go out, I'm going to work, I'm going to get a summer job, maybe two every summer so I can start earning and I can get what I want. Back then it was Forenza V-neck sweaters. Okay. This is how most people are. They recognize that the root to having what they want is elbow grease. It's hard work. It's self-sacrifice. But this spoiled brat wanted to sit in the Montecito mansion, which he got because of that Netflix documentary and this Spotify deal. Ultimately he would have spare too, but he didn't write spare. That was written by the Agassi co-writer, the Agassi ghost author. And so in any event, he didn't have to do it. He had to sit with that guy and tell him some stories about what it was like to be a prince. And for the Spotify thing, he had to do absolutely nothing. She did that 12 episode thing, which was right up her alley because it made her sound like she knew what she was talking about when it came to feminism and empowerment and working and life as a founder. Right. And then it came time to actually earn it. And he wouldn't, he wouldn't get off his lily white ass. And actually go to work. You know, our show airs first live on Sirius XM channel 111. And right now, as I speak at 1 10 PM Eastern time, there are a lot of people listening to this show in their cars and a large percentage of them are truckers. We hear from our trucker audience all the time in our show mailbox and L and otherwise. These guys are out there right now going long distances in the heat of the moment. And they're going to be there. And they're in the traffic in the summer traffic, which around various parts of the country is absolutely oppressive and completely stopped at standstills for long periods of time. You know, having to sleep in the rig in many instances, you get your food on the road. You don't see your family a lot. My old hair is dresser at Fox. Who's a dear friend of mine. Who's a doll. I love and miss her all the time. She's married to a trucker and she used to miss him all the time. She used to miss him all the time. She adored him, but he was on the road all the time. Okay. My point is simply they work. It's not all fun and glory. It's not all Klieg lights, Harry, as your name comes up in lights as the Netflix curtain lifts or on a story that is yours, but somebody else told you sat for a few interviews. If you actually want to earn money, you have to work. It's very simple work, just work and he won't do it. He's a spoiled brat. And frankly, so is she thinking she can walk right into a US Senate seat because she's Californian. And you know, she played the race card. There is zero doubt in my mind that she played the race card to make that happen again. She denies the story, but I believe every word of it. And Newsom's office would be denying it too. If it weren't true, the fact that they wouldn't comment tells me a lot. So shame on him. And honestly, it's a, it's, it's a disappointment story from the goals of princess Diana, because I think I've told you this story before. Maybe you've heard it on your own, but it's a great story. It's about when the boys were little, Harry and William, and they went to a restaurant. And, um, so they were little, the boys were little. She took them to a restaurant and it was after hours because they couldn't just waltz into any restaurant, princess Diana and these two boys, but they gave them the menus. And then on the menus was a little insert that read specials. And it had the specials of the day. And one of the boys asked princess Diana, are these because we're here? And she laughed and said, no, everyone gets the specials. This is, this is not about you being special. This is about making the menu exciting and have new offerings for everyone. Not everything's about you. And, um, she tried to raise those boys with that just a semblance of humility in them. And maybe it's because she died too young. Maybe they were in, you know, the crown's control for too long and too many hours of the day, but it didn't take on Harry. It didn't because he wasn't willing to work. That's why he got called a grifter. It's why he rejected the hot chocolate idea and the let me fix it idea without proposing any of his own. He just didn't want to do it. And the one thing he did, for Netflix, outside of that documentary about his family, calling his country racist, ripping on his, everybody, especially his dad's wife and in his book and so on. But the only other thing he did for that Netflix was a documentary on polo. Okay. This is not relatable. This is not the answer to your troubles, Harry. Literally nobody plays polo and nobody outside of a very, very elite circle in the UK. And I suppose a little bit here that this is not going to appeal to the masses. What a terrible idea. At least fixing a tire could have appealed to people. And it was really just an excuse to get you out there with every men having conversations that people might find interesting, but you refused. You thought you were above it and you're lazy. So shame on you. I've never met a more perfect pair than these two. All right. I want to keep going because this stuff about Carmelo Anthony and Austin Metcalf is guys. When we went to break last week, it had just hit air that there was a filing in the attempt by Carmelo Anthony to get a retrial that showed basically he wanted a retrial. It's been denied by the way, over the weekend. But he was saying, one of the reasons I deserve a retrial is because there was a gentleman's agreement between my lawyer and the prosecution. And they would come in. And I now regret that. Basically, he claimed that the prosecution violated the agreement in a way that kept Carmelo from taking the stand. And this was a deep, flawed problem in the prosecution's conduct. All of it was rejected. OK, so just know that. But it was a stunning reveal because the prosecution in responding to these accusations said, let me tell you why this agreement was completed. And I'm not going to lie to you. I'm not going to lie to you. I'm not completely voluntary on the side of Carmelo Anthony and actually made a lot of sense for him. And why, if we didn't have this agreement, it wouldn't have been all rainbows and unicorns for Carmelo as he now wants this court to believe. And the prosecution dropped some bombshells in its filing. Well, over the weekend, we actually went and tried to pull the filing. We've reached out to everybody in the case. It's not yet public. But we did find a local report going in-depth. A local reporter down in CBS Texas found it, J.D. Mills, and reported on exactly what both sides were saying was about to be revealed, had they gone into character evidence. And I have to tell you, my jaw dropped about both of these young men. My overall takeaway is these were two angry young men. And not just Carmelo. Austin, too. And this clash now makes so much more sense to me. It's, you know, because all along, remember when it broke, we were like, what? Someone brought a knife to attract me and stabbed another boy for no reason because he told him to leave the tent? What? And if you read the background of each boy, young man, it all becomes clear. It becomes actually quite clear. I mean, Carmelo Anthony had a hair trigger, and there was a long history that proved it. This guy, as we suspected, has had multiple run-ins with alleged crimes, okay? And Austin Metcalf was far from a saint himself. And there were serious racial incidents in his past, too. So, look, it doesn't change the fact that a murder was committed. It doesn't change the fact that a murder was committed. It doesn't change the fact that a murder was committed that day. And Austin Metcalf is not accused by anyone. at the track meet that day of uttering a racial slur at Carmelo Anthony or in the presence of Carmelo Anthony. Okay. That didn't happen. Even Carmelo Anthony didn't claim that, but prior to that day, as Austin Metcalf was coming up as a kid from, you know, 11 to 17, different story. So, and I really believed all of this should come out. This, this shouldn't have been kept a secret. Like the fact that this remained a secret and the fact that we, that this isn't yet a public document that everybody can get as a problem. This all should be shared because there's a cautionary tale in here for schools and parents everywhere. Like patterns repeat themselves. Violence doesn't spring out of nowhere. Usually, usually there are building blocks to it that will help you foresee a greater act. And I'm here to tell you right now, if Carmelo Anthony hadn't gone to jail for killing Austin Metcalf, I guarantee you this kid was heading for jail either way. This kid was going to spend his lifetime behind bars, no matter what it, I didn't, I don't know what the crime would have been when it would have happened, but he was headed there. Um, so let's go through it. This, uh, yeah, CBS, JD miles miles posts on X. We have examined the full background reports on Austin Metcalf and Carmelo Anthony. Here's what they reveal and linked to the article. And we've gone through it line by line. Okay. Let's start with Austin Metcalf. And then I'll just tell you my, my note next to bullet point. Number one reads, Holy shit. Austin Metcalf and his brother Hunter were once caught spray painting graffiti, including KKK kill all blacks and Heil Hitler along with the N word and were sentenced to 12 months of juvenile probation court documents show not good. Let's not pretend. Otherwise records reveal they reportedly told authorities. We did some dumb stuff and we did some vandalism. Okay. Yes. And I will say, look, there is a thing. Um, I don't know what year they did this, but there is a thing right now that we have seen in the reporting that we've been doing since the explosion of woke with young men, white men doing things that are considered incredibly subversive just to test authority because they know full well, what these kinds of messages will do to them and their careers and their reputations and potentially their schooling. I'm not excusing it for one second. Just saying what I have seen amongst the incidents popping up at this school and that school, is some of these young kids, not all white, but non-black are using this word as a way of being like subversive, like a middle finger to authority. You know, they've been told since birth now that if you utter that word, you're evil, your whole world will be blown up. And so I think some of these guys do this again. I don't know what meant Metcalfe's heart had in it. Um, the same heart that he was stabbed to death in by Carmelo Anthony, but since he's not here to defend himself, I do feel the need to acknowledge. I don't know how old he was for this particular incident, nor what the circumstances were again, not excusing it, but listen, there's more. Um, there are several documented instances of Austin Metcalfe using racial slurs in school. And in 2023, Metcalfe was accused of bullying a black student in class going on when he was 11. So this one does have an age attached to it in 2018. He was born in 2007 when he was 11, uh, according to court documents while still in elementary school, Austin and his brother, were accused of bullying and assaulting a female, which led to Austin Metcalfe's arrest during an argument in 2024 with another female. So this is six years after the first incident when he was 11. So now he's 17. He was killed in April of 25 at age 17. So he's 16 or 17 here during an argument in 2024 with another female student, Austin Metcalfe allegedly knocked her to date. And he was also kicked out of a football game and later texted someone quote, I was about to beat the blank out of those kids. So that's two instances with girls, one in which he punched one in the stomach and knocked her to the ground. One in which he was accused of us, uh, bullying and assaulting the young girl. And he got arrested for it at age 11. This is problematic guys. Um, it doesn't change the fact that he was murdered. I don't mean to suggest otherwise. It's just, you know, the image of Austin Metcalfe is some sort of a choir boy was not real, was not real. And now we're seeing the background here. Um, at a previous track meet, not the one where he was stabbed when another student alerted Austin, that if some, that someone not on their team quote behind our bench was talking wild, Austin Metcalfe reportedly replied, kill that, you know, motherfucker, obviously during the 2023, 2024 school year, he received an in-school suspension twice school disciplinary records from April of 22 to May of 24 reveal. He reportedly called a teacher, the B word or use profanity. He would later tell a school official he couldn't control it and wasn't aware that it was coming out of his mouth, whatever profanity, um, on 2024, on at least five occasions, record show, he saw a counselor regarding his anger and rage. During a football game. So that's five occasions in 2024. He needed to see a counselor regarding his rage during a football game. So he was having serious anger management problems. Obviously that's relevant. You know, was there more behind the exchange? Was he telegraphing some of that anger? I mean, if I were Carmelo Anthony's lawyer, I would have wanted that in evidence, but Carmelo's history is so much more disturbing than this one. That's why he struck the deal. That's why he agreed not to have any of this stuff about Austin Metcalfe come in. It's also not particularly relevant to the fact that he was using words and Carmelo was using a knife and we all know how it ended, but it's, it, I mean, it's just both of these kids had some shocking incidents in their past. So he had anger management problems and was on record as having seen a counselor five times the year before he died for this. In 2021, Austin was banned from attending basketball games for a season after yelling profanity at a player. Court documents state that Austin Metcalfe was also suspended after he and another student were talking about bringing a gun to school the following day. Here is CBS News reporting on some of these allegations. Deb, I'm not sure if we should do, let's see, we'll do a SOT 18, which speaks to the racial slurs. CBS News Texas has also learned new details about Austin Metcalfe's background. Now, you can see why the prosecutor did not want any of this to come in about Austin Metcalfe. He did not want his victim to be seen as a racist who's, you know, spray painting the N-word and KKK Kill All Blacks. It's not, this is not, this is not good. These are not in the category of good facts. Doesn't mean he gets murdered and nobody does anything about it. Again, no one alleged he screamed a racial slur or came anywhere close to crossing any racial lines that day, except the nuts who just had a problem with the fact that he ejected Carmelo. But everyone testified, including black witnesses, that this was not the practice to allow somebody from another team to come stay in your tent. All right, now to Carmelo Anthony. I mean, I'm just going to read to you my summary. Of what he had done prior to this moment on the side of my packet, and then we'll go through it. Threat, stalking, theft, assault, robbery, assault, vandalism, fighting, possible expulsion, threat to shoot, firearm, firearm, anger, drugs and alcohol, assaulted teacher, weapon to the state fair, weapon, burglaries, weapon on campus. That's my summary of what we're about to go through. On Carmelo Anthony, the sweet, innocent angel that his defenders point him as. He was just there minding his own business. This is a good kid. Um, no. When you hear this history, you're not going to be surprised at all, at all, that he wound up stabbing Austin Metcalf in the heart for no reason, or because he felt threatened because Austin told him to leave the tent. That he did not react like a normal teenage boy, who most of us know, plenty of teenage boys, would react upon having his ego bruised, or feeling. or unwanted or looked down upon. You know, I can see those feelings being real when someone tells you to get out of their tent and you don't want to leave. But to stab somebody in the heart is inhuman. There's something wrong with you. There's something, there's got to be something in your history that would tell us you're not a stable person. And woe is there ever. All right, let's go through it. Okay. He was living in Louisiana prior to moving to Frisco, Texas. And CBS reports that on the day that Carmelo Anthony would fatally shoot, sorry, stab Austin Metcalf, prosecutors say he sent a text message at 1 a.m. which read, I'm low-key on the verge. We told you about that one last week. And then he emphasized it, you know, adding some sort of emphasis to it. Later in the morning on April 2nd, this is the day of the murder, hours before he would kill Austin Metcalf, Anthony's girlfriend reported to a Centennial High School staff member that Carmelo Anthony was engaging in stalking behavior to include, but not limited to, driving by her home and refusing to allow her to end their relationship. That too we knew last week. In a 75-page filing, prosecutors say Carmelo Anthony had previously been accused of stealing his girlfriend's phone. And in October of 2024, again, the murder of Carmelo Anthony, the murder of Carmelo Anthony, the murder of Carmelo Anthony, happened in April of 2025, so this is just months before, wrote a to-do list for his girlfriend about how to deal with, quote, weirdos, which included the line, say some slick, say some slick, like something slick, like my BF kill people, boyfriend. The ridiculous vernacular, okay. Say some slick, like my BF kill people. This is from Carmelo's own text. There are text messages where he admits on at least two occasions to punching girls in the face. My friends, we have boys on both sides of this confrontation who like to hit girls. Think of all the teenage boys you know. What would it take to make any teenage boy you know punch a girl? Both of them have repeated incidents of allegedly doing it. Text messages where he admits on at least two occasions of punching girls in the face. Prosecutors also found text messages from 2021 between Carmelo and another student about robbing someone for $300. Charming. Then there are other text messages where Carmelo Anthony talks about a fight and punching someone, quote, so hard he had to stop fighting. In 2023, prosecutors say Carmelo Anthony told a friend he was going to vandalize someone's house in Austin, Texas, saying, quote, I just feel like it. I got a grudge. In 2021, Carmelo Anthony told a friend he had been suspended from school for three days for fighting, saying, quote, they said next time I do some, I get recommended for expulsion, according to court documents. In a text conversation with a friend in 2023, prosecutors have messages from Carmelo Anthony in which he wrote, I must shoot the school up tomorrow with my blick, but later sent messages saying I would never actually do that. Okay. In 2024, now we're a year before the fatal stabbing of Austin. In a text thread, prosecutors say Carmelo Anthony admitted to carrying a firearm, telling friends before the party that he would have the gun in my pocket. According to the documents, there are other message threads in which Anthony also mentions carrying a gun and carrying it to places where it did not belong. His teen years in Louisiana, after numerous suspensions for fighting, okay, while attending school in Louisiana, there are messages between Carmelo and his girlfriend after he moved to Frisco, Texas, according to court documents. In one message thread, she suggests he should just sit for a while. And he replied, yeah, and punch people. Hold on. My writing's covered up with my highlighting here. He replied, yeah, and punch people, maybe run sometimes. I have to. It's like a priority for me. I like, punching people. When I get mad, I see red. When I get mad, I black out. When I get mad, I can't control myself. I mean, this is just devastating. This is freaking devastating stuff. If the jury had heard any of this, they would have come back even faster than they did. I see red. I can't control myself. It's a priority for me. Punching people. Carrying weapons around where they don't belong. Dealing with his overwhelming anger. Prosecutors also produced messages where Carmelo Anthony admitted to getting high and drinking alcohol and even talking about selling drugs to get guns. Okay, getting high and drinking alcohol is something that a lot of high school students have done. Selling drugs to get guns is a different category. His text about guns and racial slurs. Listen here. In 2020, prosecutors, again, this is the year before the stabbing. Prosecutors say Anthony attempted to assault a teacher saying, I put my hands in face and everything. So now we've gone from assaulting girls to assaulting teachers. Also in 2024, messages obtained by prosecutors suggest Carmelo Anthony tried to bring a weapon into the state fair of Texas, asking a friend of the state fair got metal detectors. He was told yes. The friend responded, you got the poker. And Anthony said, yeah, I might have to toss it. So it appears you tried to bring a gun. That's how it sounds. I guess they're referring to it as a poker or some sort of a weapon, at least, that he couldn't get through the metal detectors and therefore thought he might have to toss it. Prosecutors said Anthony admitted to stealing a watch and earbuds in separate burglaries in Collin County, Texas, and also to bringing a weapon onto Frisco School campus. This is a different incident than the one in which he brought a weapon onto Frisco School campus and stabbed Austin Metcalf to death. Why wasn't he expelled? Why was there any tolerance after the first incident? I know of a school where a kid was caught with a knife inappropriately on campus, and he was expelled that day. That day, no questions asked. Why was he allowed to continue attending this school with this kind of a history and having, he brought a weapon on campus before? Honestly, like if that's true and this happened at this school, the Metcalf family, and maybe they're already considering it, has a serious potential lawsuit against the school. Okay. He had said about his girlfriend, she went in my bag to get my computer. I said no, and she still went in it and grabbed it. And my gun and my knife and some other stuff fell out. All right. Again, where, if that was 2024 and it appears to be, again, I don't see the original document, so I can't clarify it for us, but if that was 2024, then I believe it was Frisco. And is there some record of him bringing a gun and a knife onto the campus prior to this particular day? That would be very relevant to a civil suit in particular, but I don't know when he moved to Frisco and I don't know when that reports from. There are numerous unreleased photos and videos of Carmelo Anthony holding firearms and making threats against the school. We had seen at least one of those pictures of him holding firearms before. You're allowed to hold firearms. It's Texas. A lot of people have and hold and photograph themselves wearing firearms. But they went on to say that authorities found a note on Carmelo Anthony's phone with a long list of disturbing racial tropes and slurs about blacks, about whites, and about Hispanics. Great. So both of these boys had a history of racial slurs against the other boy's race. This kid about whites, among others, and Austin about blacks. Terrific. In one message thread, prosecutors say Carmelo Anthony wrote, I hate gay people. So not just a racial thing, but also a sexuality thing. Prosecutors say Carmelo Anthony repeatedly threatened to murder his girlfriend in text messages. So both have assaulted girls. One is called the teacher B word. One is threatened to teacher. And this one, Carmelo Anthony, as between these two boys has reportedly threatened to murder his girlfriend. Uh, some of them reading quote, how many bullets you want coming out of your chest and quote, I'm going to get you expletive. They also said that he threatened his girlfriend with a knife in one message and told her in another, we heard this last week when I stabbed somebody, I'm going to lick their blood off the blade. Oh, I like, can you imagine this? Can you imagine if this were your son? Where, where was the intervention by these parents prior to that day at the track meet? Where was it? Why, why didn't they help Carmelo Anthony with his considerable anger? I mean, at least we know from the reports there, Austin Metcalf at least got some counseling for anger management, um, at football games, I guess. I'm not sure if that was school mandated or what happened there, but yeah. Where were Carmelo Anthony's parents in helping him manage his hair trigger and growing rage? A serious question. And what we saw in that report last Thursday was also that he had reportedly witnessed considerable violence and been subjected to it in the domestic setting. Who was responsible for that? Where is the parents' accounting of that? I mean, all this says to me, these problems are actually foreseeable. This actually didn't come out of left field. It wasn't out of the blue. Carmelo Anthony was on a path of criminality, rage, and the inappropriate use of weapons and committing crime for many years prior to killing Austin Metcalf. And Austin Metcalf had, at a minimum, anger and temper. Control issues and was quick to hurt people that he had a disagreement with that upset him, including girls and threatening with teachers and also had made racial slurs in the past. This is a powder keg, a powder keg that was brewing underneath that canopy that day. It doesn't change anything legally. Not one thing doesn't justify a thing that Carmelo Anthony did. In fact, makes it worse from a lot of standpoints. But there's really nothing worse than being convicted of first-degree murder, which is what's happened to him. And he's going to jail for 35 years, and that's appropriate. Frankly, I think it could have been longer. He's not getting a retrial. He's going to file his appeals. They're not going anywhere. He doesn't have any good grounds for appeal. They're now, it appears, going to zero in on ineffective assistance of counsel, thanks to this deal. I mean, this lawyer is going to have, like, a court reviewing this lawyer's behavior. He's going to have more than enough reason to say, I see why he cut the deal. Pretty sure I see why he cut the deal. Threatened to kill his girlfriend, threatened to stab her, shoot her, and lick the blood off the knife, including that morning where she broke up with him and she went to the vice principal and complained that he was stalking her. She was afraid of him. Long history of criminality. No, I see why they didn't really want the jury hearing all that before they decided what was in his mind. And why he couldn't take the stand, people. Why he couldn't take the stand. And it's just, the defense wanted us to believe it was like a couple mild character things that the prosecution inappropriately introduced. And therefore, you know, we were so confused and we didn't know, you know, where he was going to go. You would have been, the jury would have been back in two minutes if this stuff had come out. Notwithstanding that it doesn't make Austin Metcalf look good either. Because the jury was going to be limited to deciding when it comes to self-defense what Austin Metcalf did in that moment. And he did not threaten Austin. He didn't threaten Carmelo Anthony. He did place a hand on him. Okay, you can argue that's threatening. But the law accounts for that kind of a threat and says you can meet it with appropriate response, appropriate force. But you can't meet that level of force with deadly force, which is what Anthony did. I don't know. I'm glad we have the full picture. There's no point in pretending one's a choir boy and one's not. Or they're both choir boys who just had a weird meltdown in that tent. Now we know. Now we know. And I think my overall takeaway is, where were the parents? Where were the interventions? Where was the help to prevent more harm being done to others in this case? And I don't know. We'll be right back. I believe your daughter. I believe her. You wanted a cash cow. You didn't want a daughter. That's what led you to put your kid in these commercials and work her nonstop to the bone her entire childhood. Then when she died, you had the nerve to say, oh, child actors, you know, they have it really tough. Yes, how did she become one? Who put her in this disgusting, toxic industry? Industry before she was old enough to handle it? Hmm. Hmm. Let me think about it. Let me tell you something. It's not Gayle King's fault, and it's not my fault. You got to look in the mirror if you want to find true accountability for the path that your daughter took in her life. Here is a little bit of, well, let me show you the part where she denies what Hayden said she said about when Hayden said, please just be my mom and not my manager, and Hayden claimed in her. In her memoir, which came out in May, that the mother responded with, you owe me. It's at 28. Hayden released a book about her life, This Is Me, A Reckoning, back in May. In it, she recalls telling her mom at 19 that she didn't want Vogel to manage her career anymore, and Vogel replied, you owe me. Vogel remembers that moment, but says her version doesn't match Hayden's. I remember being in her trailer and literally saying nothing. Oh, boy. I was, I knew that day would come. It's not that I didn't expect it, but it was very short, very brief conversation, and then she turned and went to set. Did it hurt to read that in the book? You know, it just, I know I didn't say what she said I said. Sure. For the listening audience, she has, I don't know if it's a black wig, like dark brown or black wig. The hair is about the length of mine. And it. But it has. It has blonde, like bangs and roots at the front, and then it's very dark and cascading all around. It's almost like she has blonde hair and she placed a dark wig on top of it, but forgot to cover the bang part. I'm just trying to give you a visual. She's got heavily painted on eyebrows, very, very heavily and very artificially painted on. Again, I'm not trying to mock her. I'm just trying to give you the visual, a white jacket. And. Very tan. And she sits down with GMA, tries to play the victim and earlier had been taking issue in an interview with the Daily Mail with Gayle King coming out and criticizing the way she reacted to her daughter's death and my commentary on her last week. As a reminder, this is what she said to NBC News after her daughter died unexpectedly last week. I think. WAS AN AMAZING talented person in so many departments. And I think young people who grow up in the entertainment industry, it is a struggle and it is a very challenging industry. And it is not unusual for them to sadly find the wrong path. I think it becomes very difficult to be true to yourself. And I think Hayden sadly lost her way and I wish it were different. I wish she had stayed true to herself because she had many incredible attributes. This is honestly, it is something that your dentist might say about you after you passed unexpectedly, not your mom. This is a very strange, bizarre person. And now that you get to see her, it becomes even more clear why she had pinned so many of her own life's hopes and dreams on her minor daughter. It was a challenge that her daughter never recovered from that I think led directly to her daughter's addiction and choice in partners as she chose a domestic abuser with whom to spend the vast majority of her adult life. And the mother is raising serious questions about whether we're getting the full story about that abuser's role in her death. Now they're saying no foul play, the police are, and the boyfriend is saying, hey, they're saying no foul play and he's right to raise that. But do we know the full story? Because now we're learning that he was the one who administered the Narcan. So he had it on him. And it appears that the reports that she died in an armchair may have been wrong. Now they're reporting that the two of them were in a fold-out sofa bed and his brother came over to get them. They were supposed to go out together when they weren't answering the phone and found them in the sofa bed and Hayden was non-responsive. So the brother had the Narcan on him. Sorry, the boyfriend did. Brian, why? And what was the state between those two? I'm with the mother on wanting more answers about the abusive boyfriend's behavior in and around this whole situation.
