MBMBaM 838: Five Increasingly Less-Convincing Feed-the-Birds Ladies

The McElroy brothers present a comedic, self-deprecating advice show that blends absurd humor with relatable life challenges. While they claim to offer guidance, they repeatedly emphasize their lack of expertise, framing their content as playful rather than authoritative. The episode features satirical discussions on ghosts, the fear of the supernatural, and the psychology of belief, often using fictional or exaggerated scenarios to highlight how fear and social dynamics shape perception. A major segment mocks a bizarre brand collaboration—Sour Patch Kids on Wingstop wings—critiquing marketing overreach and consumer expectations. The brothers also explore everyday situations, such as convincing coworkers to dress up for Halloween or navigating a dentist's lobby coffee machine, using humor to reveal underlying social and personal tensions. A fictionalized news story about runners being ejected from a Disney 5K by balloon-wielding characters and Jack Sparrow adds absurdity and commentary on crowd management and consumer culture. Throughout, the show underscores the value of connection, shared experiences, and small moments of joy. It concludes with a lighthearted call to action, promoting a health service, launching a new merchandise line, and encouraging civic participation in elections—all wrapped in the brothers' signature blend of chaos, wit, and self-awareness. The tone remains joyful and irreverent, celebrating the randomness and humor in everyday life.

The McElroy brothers are not experts, and their advice should never be followed. Travis insists he's a sex expert, but if there's a degree on his wall, I haven't seen it. Also, this show isn't for kids, which I mention only so the babies out there will know how cool they are for listening. What's up, you cool baby? What, there it is! It's the start of something beautiful. A small quaintant has blossomed, it's wrapping into a precious friendship. I could have never seen what was coming for me, hangs at the skate park, hangs by the beach, my life, it feels like. It's better, it's better with you, my life, it's better, it's better with you, this is true, it's better, it's better with two, my life, it's better with you. Hello everybody, welcome to my brother, my brother, and me, an advice show for the monjan era, I'm your oldest brother, Justin McElroy. What up, "Travination" it's me, your middle brother, Travis, big dog, wolf, wolf, room for him, the heater, award-winning McElroy. Oh boy, hey, hey, "Travination" it's me, your sweet baby, brother, 3030 media, luminary, Griffin McElroy. That's a big yawn, buddy. You're not sleeping good? Why are you so tired? I haven't been sleeping very good, you guys, thanks for noticing. Why have you been sleeping so bad, dude? Well, I mean, you guys know, because I imagine you guys haven't been sleeping good either, because of other mommy. Oh, wait, I can't imagine anyone's been getting their 40 winks, since other mommy's read her twisted head. Like the mom from Coraline, oh, you watch Coraline, you got spooked. I've never actually seen Coraline, but I, and I also haven't, I haven't seen other mommy, but just kind of knowing she's out there. Knowing she's out there and seeing her, and she's kind of like Jessica Chastain, and I see, usually when I see Jessica Chastain, I breathe a sigh of relief. Yeah, I think I know what I'm strong confident woman in control, strong confident woman, and she's going to deliver, she always delivers. Yeah, but now this movie does a trick on you, which is you start to think I can relax, because that's Chastain. Yeah, but now I'm always going to be thinking, is it Chastain, or is it other, other mommy? She's pulled a digger. She's pulled a bit of a digger on it. A lot of people are doing it. A lot of people are saying like Jessica, you have done as Tom did destabilize us at the time when we needed you the most. Yeah, we trusted you. We trusted you. Now, how am I, how am I supposed to trust you ever again? I haven't really learned much about the movie, so I assume just from the title alone and the fact that it's a scary movie. It's about like a kid, and she gets, her dad gets remarried, and she's like, I'm scared of having a step on. Yeah, I don't know, man, because it's more like, from what I can get from the poster, it's more like, you know how like most people had a mommy. Yeah, probably. This is kind of ask a question like, who's that over there? Yeah, it's another mom. It's another mom. It's another mom. It's another mom. Juicy step mom with Julia. Juicy step mom, dude. I didn't know you saw Juicy step mom. Juicy step mom. - We don't normally talk about, I don't see a Robert. It's like that. - It's like Juicy stepmom's four juicier than ever and stepier the last time. Juicy stepmom's five that Juicy's lose is my favorite 'cause they get out of the house that they've all been living in together and they're out in the evening. - Now, juices step mom six, the matriarch paradox. - I actually liked it a lot. - Part, I thought it. - I think it's out of paradox, part two, fucks. - Yeah. - Yeah, one is a lot of build up to part two. It's, I think it should've been one movie, but it probably would've been five and a half hours. - I mean, part one, fucks, but it, like, - Yeah, it just turned into visual. - Now, juicy step mom, 19, juicy step mom's day out, where juicy step mom, like, wonders their construction side. - Yeah, I think they were trying to make it for a younger audience at that point. - Yeah. - It's like that. - It's like that. - It's like that. - Yeah. - It's like that. - It's like that. - It's like that. - It's like that. - It's like that. - Yeah. - I'm not sure it's our place. - I think that maybe it's like I, the beholder. - Okay. - The Babadook is to you, whatever you need them to be. - Oh, Babadook's not real. - What? - So that's it for now. - That's it for now. - Who's in my house right now? - Is it, okay Travis, can I ask you a question? - Is it other mommy? Is it, is it, is it other mommy? Is it Jessica Chastain? I'll twist it up and fuck it up. - It might be other mommy and a Babadook costume. - Mama Duke. - Mama Duke. - Mama Duke is something. Yeah, no, I get, we understood. - Marma. - If it's in a word or it's in a Luke, you can't get rid of the Marma Duke. Is that something? - Yeah. - Something, yeah. Like when Marma Duke falls asleep on your couch and you're like, "Hey, there's my couch." And then Marma Duke haunts you forever, I guess. - Yeah. Man, I just, I just got to find another place to put Magpie, huh? I just can't have Magpie sitting on my shoulder like that. If you didn't watch our latest clubhouse, we all got new haunted dolls. Magpie's my boy and just making sure his spirit light is not lit up. - My kids, my kids are playing with mine, but at least I got my copy of Bunker's Follini. - Yeah, it was an all-time episode. Y'all got to check it out. McRoy family get their like and subscribe and smash it. Like and smash it. - We have no other mommy's hiding on our YouTube channel. We give you exactly what we say. We're gonna give you everything. - Yeah. - The exact number of mommy's as it says on the 10th. - Yeah, what if there was another podcast we did on Halloween? It was called like Other Bubbies and it was, but we all got to be like twisted fucked up versions of ourselves. - My other mommy and me. - Yeah. - I'm getting scared over here. - Yeah. - Speed up. - Apparently you were at a branch. - Like, viewers are screwed out, too, 'cause they only gave other mommy 19% around the minute. - Too scary. - Well, yeah, man. If a movie scares you so bad that you almost die and you spit in your pants, you're not gonna be like, I loved it. - Okay, I went on a date and I peed my pants on my date with my very nice date Vanessa Winkelvoss. - Yeah, I went to piss on my pants. - Yeah, I went to stars. - I went to check out. You can see everything with Vanessa Winkelvoss. It made me bar fall over myself. A hundred percent? - No. - You're gonna say you didn't like it. - Yeah. - Dang, I need to get rid of this image. I was looking for stuff for a munch quad. It was this walking schwarma. This place is a bag of pita chips. Oh, man. - Oh, man. - Yeah. - Bag of pita chips with just loose jangling, schwarma. - The schwarma's chicken and cabbage on top. - All right. - Yeah, man, yeah, man. This is an advice show. We come to you and we say, hey, well, you got going on and we try to help best we can. - So, yeah. - Sometimes we do. Sometimes we glance off. Sometimes we get to the end of one and I'm like, I think there's something to take away there. - Yeah. - We need every fourth word. - Kind of deal. - There's a ARG advice flag just. A work in an academic library. Other libraries in our state have ghosts. We have none. I would like to bring them here, but I would settle for ghosts of my very own. How do I get the ghosts up in here with no crime involved? - Oh. - Yeah. - I wish people would stop putting that in emails. - It really has drinks. - I know. What's the best ghost bait? Do you think they'd send me a ghost via interlibrary loan? - What's that family? - That's from Fandomless Minus in Oklahoma. - There's a guy on this season who loves his blind who is scared of ghosts. And he talks about it and it's very serious for him and his now fiance. If you're not familiar with the premise of the show, people get engaged and they, but they don't see each other before him. - Gows your fucking eyes out. Birds come and pick their eyes. They put down these foul jellies. Let me find love. - But then he's like telling his soon to be spouse like, "Hey, I am scared of ghosts." And I don't like when you talk about ghosts because it is talking about ghosts that conjures them. It is the discussion of ghosts that invites them in. And then she proceeds to say, "That's crazy." Let me tell you about this really scary time I saw a real ghost. I don't think these two are gonna make it. - I didn't agree. - What's she being sincere, Griffin? About her ghost story? - Yeah, it was a very sincere ghost story, but still, they're at least cooperating. - They might be on different, like deep in shallow end of the pool, but they're in the same pool. - No, no, no, no. - You must care about what it is, Travis. They both believe in ghosts. She lacks empathy. - Oh, that's it. Like it's, you know, this is the problem. But I think it's easier to find some, I think it's harder to find someone who will believe in ghosts at your level that you might have to compromise on the empathy thing. Well, certainly without seeing them. Like if I can see the person and read their body language, I'll have a much easier idea, a better idea if they're ghost people or not. Everyone should be afraid of ghosts. Not because I think they're real. But if you were to somehow see one and you're like, eh, this is, no, you should be freaked out by that for a lot of reasons. You're saying if you see a ghost and you know it's a ghost? Yes. 'Cause sometimes you don't, in like six ends, sometimes he doesn't like, you don't exactly know. 'Cause sometimes they just look like normal people, but maybe they've had an accident on their shirt or something. You're just like, that's just Misha Barton and she's had an accident on her shirt. Yeah. But you don't know like, actually, she's fucking dead. You might see someone with someone else's blood on them. Right? Uh huh. And you don't need to be scared of them. But you're saying you see a ghost, you know it's a ghost. Of course you'll be scared. I think to some degree, everyone is afraid of ghosts. It's whether you're passively afraid of ghosts or actively afraid of ghosts. I don't know if my first reaction would be to be afraid of ghosts as much as it would be to contemplate the sudden kind of upending of my understanding of the human soul. And that wouldn't be scary. That wouldn't be scary. Boy, I have become one of the most important figures in all of human history. I am the one link to the spectral realm. To the spectral realm to the afterlife. But I'm the first to have glimpsed it for real. I think at this point, Travis, I'm not it. My fear is, do I have enough time? Do I have it in me to become the vessel I need to spread the good word? Will people be like, yeah, how do I reach them all? How do I craft a believable narrative and share it? To the mouse, but that's a lot of pressure. And I think that's scary. I don't know whether you're on the side. How many cyples? How many cyples? How many cyples do you need? At least 13 to one up. J-Man, you know what I mean? You call it a medium dozen. I'd go with 30 just so that like, if there are judesses in there, I have like a bigger crew of road dogs, and you can see them out. Oh, yeah, I can all agree. Guy gets some broads. Son, too. Yeah, right, right, right, right, right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I want me to cyples and some inbees in there. Let's cover it, you know what I mean? Here's what I think we need to do. 60 to 70 disciples then. 60 to 70 disciples, just like get all of our quadrants. I want, yeah, I want everybody ribbing this. And these are all ghost people, which is great. That's a cool gathering. And you need people who speak other languages other than English, right? So what does that mean? I think what we need to do, we need to look at the population count in Jesus' time, divided by 12, right? Okay, and then take that number, divide the current population by that number. That's how many disciples you need because Jesus is like, I only 12 to cover the planet. If we're scaling with population inflation, we're going to have easily like 26,000 disciples. Yes, which is, that's you, I can't manage. No, you want me to moderate this board server? That's what I need to tear them. There can't be a flat level. It can't be a flat structure. Obviously there's us at the top of the top. Well, the ghost is like a circle around the top. And I'm like the conduit. But there has to be this a tiered sort of like a group that's close to me that's like higher in the tier. Now you guys like a bigger group that's spread it out. Junior disciple, junior disciple. And I've seen your disciples like rising disciples or you like rise, the more disciples that you kind of bring in the 600,000. Yeah, the more that ghosts will like give you rewards. Those good things. We'll have ghost goods, ghost cards, the whole bit. Oh, yeah, you'll have to have retreats and stuff. Conferences. I guess you should be excited to see a ghost then. Cause this sounds pretty, this sounds pretty sweet. I wouldn't scream and run away. If I remember the question now, they actually wanted to see a ghost. Yeah, we're getting back to that. This is good. Dang it. We're just selling like, yeah, it would be rad to see a ghost. You'd become the famous leader of a new ghost based religion. But they know that. The answer is simple. You could do another academic library that is haunting. You go in with a carved out book where it's got a hole in the center. You're going to catch the ghost in that book in the carved out hole. Keep it close to you. Get back to your academic library. Then release it like a poker ball. Now you have your own ghost. But it's going to take it like a week to reform. Yeah. When you squish the ectoplasm like that and you get it trapped inside of a book, it's going to take it about a week for that ectoplasm to take it to reach. And if you then add any new ghosts, you're going to have to keep them in the bag kind of float it in your library for like 15 minutes so that they can kind of acclimate there. Make sure you introduce your new ghost to your existing ghost. Yeah. Keep it door closed so they can like sniff at each other. They need to have them all the way, but they can yeah, really cover in their scent. I think I think I have two thoughts that align on this question. Is that it's almost certainly easier to import a ghost than to create a new ghost? Yeah. Because I don't really know how, I don't know that anyone knows how to do the latter. Obviously, if you kill someone in the heat of a terrible passion, like there's some people who think that's your best bet. Well, you would also need to make sure that they have a significant amount, yeah, unfinished with that. I think the more unfinished business, the more likely that they become a ghost. But I also think importing is your best bet here because, and I love libraries, I understand they're besieged on all sides by this administration. But a library ghost would be the boringest fucking ghost to ever stroll the haunted halls. I think that that would not be a fun cool ghost. I think it would be a, it would not be a party ghost or a scary ghost. It would just be a kind of there ghost. Well, good luck, Griffin. You get a party ghost or like a scary ghost, do something and you import it into your library. We're going to have to listen to that vein be like, so what do you guys do, like how many people come through that I can scare or like, let me possess some young like college ghosts. If you're a ghost, a library is probably one of the sweetest places to haunt because you have access to endless literature and learning. You can become the world. You could have died and fucking 1604, but you come back and you're in a library and you start to catch up on stuff. That's assuming that you can interact with the books. You might need someone to turn the pages for you. That should be easy enough. Okay. Okay, he's sucker to do that. What if you're in the middle of a series that you got to try to lure somebody into reading it? Yeah. Hey, no, you're not missing anything. Just pick up three. Yeah. Start with three. It's better actually be finished the series and then go back to read the first two bugs. Hey, have they made any more of those 50 shades books yet? We're not real fuck. Sorry. Sorry 49 other shades were out of luck. I don't know how to get on the internet yet. Thanks, Trash. Did you say you like that? No, because Justin likes to say I said, sorry 49 other shades were out of luck because it's like porn over ghosts. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Shades, shades. Yeah. I currently work at a diner as a food server. Is it being the scary season and Halloween falling on a Saturday? My boss has given us permission to dress up for our shift that day. The only problem is I've worked there for six years and almost nobody has ever committed to wearing something except me, brothers, I still want to celebrate my favorite holiday while making dough, but not when I'm the only one who's dressed up. How can I convince my coworkers to dress up and/or what's a subtle but effective Halloween costume that I can wear in case they all bail? That's from eggs, mummy side up, from New Jersey. I don't know that there's a, it's 2026, I don't know there's a ton of people who when they see someone dressed up in a costume on Halloween, they're thinking like, you're a fucking dork. Right. I think that most people are pretty stoked to see even if it's in a setting where no one else is dressed up, you see them and you think like, oh, that's festive. And I think people who don't think that way are bad people and you don't need to worry about whether or not they think you're a dork or not. You don't want to impress somebody who doesn't like a costume on Halloween. Is a bad person. Yeah, man. The opinion is not worth considering. Anyone who's impressed by apathy is not worth impressing. Not worth impressing at all. But I think there are some pretty good guidelines you can go with. No one's going to think you a fool if your costume is more comfortable than your usual uniform. Yes. That is always going to be a good decision. You're going to feel great about that, especially if other people are in their uniform uniforms. They can't give you a hard time if you're dressed as I don't know the Genie from Aladdin. And that's comfortable. Sorry. Sorry, driven. Pain in all blue. Sorry, dude. No shirt and hammer pants. I'm having a pretty good day of work. I think I'm pretty relaxing. Body pain. Body pain. Oh, sorry, dudes. I'm not going to appropriate the Genie. I'm just going to go regular tone. Okay. I know my role. I'm in a place. I don't think at that point I'm going to be shirtless in this large at that point, you're wearing hammer pants and gold braziless and no shirt. I don't think that rings as Genie's not the blue body that has to work the fryer that day. It's this guy. I guarantee. I guess. I'm not. And I can't make me customer face and you can't touch food because it's covered in blue paint. You're going to get it everywhere. There's no paint. God, guys, seriously, I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna get friggin' canceled even theoretically, okay? - I don't know who is, I don't think blue. I don't think, I just don't know who it, unless it's like Avatar people, I don't know who that's gonna, I don't know. - I'll just say, yeah, I'll just say in like, beautiful white genie. - Whoa. - It's just my normal thing. - Now, huge old bracelets, the hair? - I don't know what the hair, you know what I mean? But huge, the important thing is the billowing pants. - The huge billowing pants, the comfort unmatched. - Zubas for days. - You're straws, I've got your straws here. - Uh-huh, that's cool. - Lebowski? - Lebowski is another comfortable Halloween costume. - Yeah, for sure. - You want something that looks, if you're looking for something that would let you pass as a normal server who is not dressed up for Halloween. I mean, do we have a ton of those? - Yeah, I guess it's just Jennifer Aniston's character in a office space, or someone from waiting to hit Dane Cook comedy. Those are the only sort of server characters that I think. - Was Dane Cook in waiting, or was that Ryan Reynolds? - I think both had to be like, you can't. - You can't, Andy Milanakis was the-- - Sorry guys, can't fucking say that. - Good burger, too. - Good burger, yes, yeah. No, for sure. - Moobie? Clark's, too? - Oh yeah, yeah. - Really, yeah, but another character. - You can just do full 50s, diner, roller skates. - Oh, cool. - No, you can't be the only one in the business wearing skates. - You're getting a half baked? - What? - Oh yeah, it works like Burger King, I think. - Yeah, you're cool, you're cool, you sense it. - Let's move on from-- - We just said there weren't a lot of 'em, so I'm just trying to help you cool. - And you've proven me, you've proven-- - I mean, a half musical based on the movie, The Weightress. - It's not about this, Gryffin did that one. So now, Gryffin, he wasn't listening to you quick, you can flip it on him, quick. This is how I'm gonna dance. - No, I didn't say Weightress, this is a different one, Travis Actress. - So you weren't listening, double reversal. - Weightress, you said Weightress. - I said Weighting, which is different. That's the Dean Cook, Andy Miller. - They did not make a musical based off of Weighting starring Ryan Reynolds of Dean Cook. - I think they made a musical off the Andy Miller. (laughing) - Is that what you were gonna say? - Yeah, and that was what we were building up, too. - Dress up, like how you wanna dress up, it's Halloween. Anyone who says shit is a fucking loser. - That's not, I mean, yeah, you're right. But that's not gonna help when you're feeling it. I, well, you won't be there. You know what I mean? - I won't be there in this matter. - Dress up, like, you work at a different diner. - That's good. - Like, if you, like, dress up, like, get an I-hop uniform, you know what I mean? And then dress up like an I-hop employee. That's cool. - Just don't dress up like a famous poisoner. Like a famous, yeah. I don't know who that would be. - Moriarty. - Yeah, but you'd need, like, a name tag that says, like, Moriarty, the famous poisoner. - I think if you went all out on a Moriarty costume, they'd know. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I agree with what Travis said, Griff, it makes good sense. - You're saying if an old-timey Victorian moustachioed man came up and was like, "And here's your tater tots," you'd be like, "These are fucking poison, nice try, Moriarty." That would be your first thought. - Yeah. - Okay. - What would your first thought be? - I would think this is what a weird anachronistic gentleman that's just showed up to serve me at my table. I wouldn't think this is poison 'cause that's fucking deaf. - So your first thought is this guy exists in a different timeline than me. - Is it Halloween? - Sorry, is it Halloween? - Yes, it's obviously Halloween. - Okay, I would think, well, someone's dressed up, like a League of Extraordinary gentleman for Halloween or something. - Okay, your mind goes to the League of Extraordinary gentleman. - I don't know that we'd go to Moriarty and it definitely wouldn't go to, therefore, poison. - You could do Jekyll and Hyde, and every time you go back into the kitchen to grab something, you change character and then come back out to them. - I believe so, 'cause you gotta be back there smashing stuff. You gotta knock over, you wanna have beakers, but you gotta have full drink cups that you could like, slosh against the wall. - No, I'm a monster. - And if you get orders wrong, you can blame it on the other guy. - Yeah. - Guys, there's like, there's like, no, and I'm not encouraging, I'm not saying there should be, so everyone get out there. But there's like no famous poisoners. I just Googled famous poisoners, and I don't know fucking any of these people, they are all from ancient times. - It sucks to be doing a show with you and judging how the show is going based on your facial expressions in part. And then finding out you've just been reacting to information about famous poisoners for the bathroom. - Well, it's your main, it's your main to the kinds of enhancements to the conversations. - Your main, I just thought it was interesting that there were no famous poisoners. - Besides your main. - Besides your main apparently. - Well, here's the thing, don't tweet, don't exat me and be like, you forgot Locust, Locusta, clearly. 'Cause I don't know who that, I don't know who any of these people are, they're not the point, they're famous poisoners, the poison, it's a subtle art. It's a subtle art and the best poisoners, you never hear about them. - A famous poisoner, they live in the shadows. - At poisoning, tough, tough. - You could know a famous poisoner, you never know it. - Yeah. - They might be famous for different reasons. - Ah yes. - Perhaps they start in vanwilder or waiting for Deadpool or free guy. - Perhaps they are, perhaps they are Brett Michaels. - You think Brett Michaels is doing, oh, 'cause oh yeah. - Oh, man, Jesus, I'm sorry, I'm just not on the same wavelength today, man. You keep making these characters. - What about Bill, Bill, Bill and DeVoe? - Yeah, that's another, that's another beloved poisoners. - Yeah. - That was poison, I know the clues anywhere. It was Bill or Bill or DeVoe. - Use our logic puzzle to solve it. - One of us always sells the truth, one of us always lies, one of us always poisons. - This great is poison. - One of us is wearing a red hat, one of us has a green hat, one of us has a blue hat. Bill never stands next to DeVoe. (laughing) - Never trust DeVoe. - He's the lying brother. - Or am I lying? - I. - Or am I telling the truth? - I love this. - Drink this. - I love to do the logic puzzle, drink this. - I, it's better than Tic-Tac TLC, that's great. - Ah-ha! - Hey. - That was great. - Let's go to the money zone. - Let's do it, and we're definitely should go to the money zone. (upbeat music) - It's better, it's better with you. - We got a bearded dragon a couple months ago and in Blaze. - I love this fucking job. - Yeah, Blaze. - I love Blaze rules. - Blaze rules. But the cats, Million Olive have taken it upon themselves to monitor Blaze 24 hours a day basically. One of them is almost always watching Blaze just to make sure that she stays in her cage. And that kind of-- - I watched Olive by the way. I watched Olive and she does the same thing that my cat does at the window when there's a bug on the outside of the window, which is repeatedly be surprised that their paw can not pass through glass, like 30 times in a row, like maybe this time. - I have to reward that level of dedication with the finest kitty food money can buy. And that is small. That's what they love. They love these packages. They come frozen, you defrost what you need. And then you open up a packet of fresh, delicious food. - You put it on a crystal goblet. You put a little mint leaf on it. You set it down-- - You don't have to do, you don't have to do that, but it's good enough stuff that it like deserves a goblet, I think. - It's been, we switched them to it, oh God, here's a go. But it's been really good for their coats. It's been easier to maintain both their weights. It makes serving sizes a lot easier to keep track of. And I feel good about giving it to 'em. I mean, and I am the one that does it. - Do you think Blaze looks out through the glass and sees them eating these good, these good smalls and things like, oh man, I just gotta eat all these little bugs. - Well, I gotta eat all these little powdery bugs. - Maybe Blaze is thinking forward to a day when they can both enjoy tiny frozen baby rats. Your cat's health and longevity starts with what they eat. For a limited time, because you are a ma bin bam listener, get 60% off your first order, plus free shipping and free treats for life. When you head to smalls.com/mybrother, I find myself in need of a new primary care physician, because my former primary care physician has switched to a different genre of practice, I believe doctors call it, a different genre, and then I found a different primary care. And she left that practice, and now I need a new medicine, and now I need a new medicine, and then I need a new medicine. And she left that practice, and now I need a new primary care physician, and thank God, Zock-Dock exists, because I simply-- - Thank you so much, Zock-Dock. I started with a new dermatologist, like last month, and I rolled up, and they were like, we can't do this. We can't give you sky-rizzy. And I was like, I need this fucking junk to live, man. (upbeat music) - Well, now hold on. - Did it with me, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby. - Munch, munch. - What are we? - Did it, did it, did it, did it, did it. 'Cause for a toe, bro, I went for like a little scary. - Friend. (humming) - You'll get it, just hold it, you gotta wear your toe, belly, booling down now. - Yep, that was it. - Yeah. - Well, good munch squad. - It's favorite riff from Frankenstein, if we can just go around the horn. 'Cause there's a lot of riff. - There's like so many really good riffs. - I like the one, 'cause everybody knows, when the sax comes in and hits you with that, (humming) (humming) (humming) - I like it when he sings out there. - Fing my Frankenstein. - That song sucks so bad and I hate that I have to hear it every time I watch Wayne's world. - Yeah. - So bad. - I like you two to get together when I'm not around and practice a munch squad riff where Griffin does the talk box, does the mouth box, while Justin does it and you guys can surprise me with it. - I'd love it. - Yeah, we can do that. - Jesus fucking Christ, dude. - You gotta warn me if you're gonna put up a picture of the new Sour Patch Kids, guys. 'Cause they are. - It's fine, it's fine. - It's not fine. - It's not fine. - Oh, this was sent to me at the official address of [email protected]. - This is a threat that was sent to you, Justin. - Yes, this is by Anna and Riley. Thank you. Winged Stop and Sour Patch Kids. They're fans to try Halloween's most unhinged flavor. Sour Patch Kids, we could punch. - Okay. - I can like phantom feel the tummy ache that eating Sour Patch Kids and spicy buffalo. - The sugar and sour burn on my tongue mixed with spicy wit. - It hurts inside to even imagine it. - Also, the connection here, we're looking at an image if I may describe where it is shot like an urban explorer, like that singular front light, they're in an abandoned place, except instead of young people going on adventures and I think, "Oh, I don't think that's a good idea." It is instead a red Sour Patch mascot person, a blue Sour Patch mascot person, threateningly pouring Sour Patch Kids candy into a Winged Stop bag. They are Sour Patch Kids pouring smaller Sour Patch Kids in the bag. - That's fucked. - Yeah, that's crazy. That's always been wild. - Yeah, is it their flavors? - I mean, it's just an advertising. It's a flavor of, it's the ultimate candy meat. It's the ultimate candy meat's wings cross over. - Finally. A closet. - We added it. - We added it without meaning, devoid of meaning, we added it for years. We've done some casual candy meat's wings, collaborations, finally, the ultimate one. So created by Winged Stop's flavor experts who I assume have now been put in the egg. We could put extreme dereliction of duty without the thing if they should. - Yeah, right. We could watch features of a steveous Sour then sweet redberry glaze and is then finished with Sour Patch Kids bits. - Yeah, I mean, you've lost me from the moment the image appeared. - Right. - Do we have an image of the wing itself, 'cause I don't know how one incorporates Sour Patch Kids bits. - Yeah, I'm going to try, if you could see, there, that's the best way. - Okay, so these are very, very, very red buffalo wings, and there are little flecks of all these colors. - Yeah, like the wings fell on the floor of your car after a car trip with your children. - It really does look like the carpet of a movie theater right after a, you know, a kid's flick has let out. Halloween has a way of bringing unlikely duos together, and it shows it fucking just stops saying stuff. - Yeah, it does. It does. It does. Halloween is when weird duos come together. It does. Anything to happen on Halloween. - It may be the, it's the day. - Wings stop and the Sour Patch Kids candy may be the most unexpected yet. It's surprising a little unhinged and exactly, a little, exactly the kind of flavor experience only Wings stop could pull off, a mash up that is equal parts, trick, treat, and dare. Here comes the quote. Are you ready? - What's fun here when they, when they use the word a little unhinged, I like to think I've just gone over to a friend's house, maybe to watch the big game, maybe just to sit down and talk about how life is going, and they said, I made dinner, and they set these down in front of me, and they say, yeah, the thought just came to me, and I made a sauce out of Sour Patch Kids, and then sprinkled extra sour Patch Kids on top, and I'd say, oh man, so things haven't been going that well, huh? - I'm already staging the intervention at that point, I think. I have two quotes for you. The first is from Michael Skipperth, the president and CEO of Wings stop is here to be accountable for this. Candy on Wings? We know exactly. - I wish it. - I wish it was there. I wish it was there. - Candy on Wings you were firing. - I'm firing, this is the first I'm hearing about this, but no, seriously, it has no business being this good. - Yeah. - Sour Patch Kids, Wicked Punch Wings brings sour and sweet together in a way only Wings stop can. It may sound unexpected, but one bite is all it takes to understand why this one is a treat. - Why are they using such like hedging language? - They really aren't, yeah, I noticed that too, like all it takes is one bite and you will know it. - But they say like it may be a little surprising. It's a little unhinged, like go for it, say it. - You've lost your goddamn minds, the textural experience, when I'm eating a buffalo wing, I'm like, so concerned about efficiency and I want to get it down and I don't want to get too messy and I want to do a good job getting all the meat off. - So dad will be proud. - So dad will be proud, right? I don't need other exciting, more persistent textures joining the fray that are going to just slow me down and confuse me. - I would also point out to Mr. Skipworth here that the fray doesn't have any business being this good. - Is it also mean bad? - Yeah, isn't doing anything for you because I wasn't looking at it assuming any level of good whatsoever. Even if it's 1% good, it doesn't have any business being this good. - And then here's a quote from the candy side. For the Sour Patch Kids brand, Halloween usually means owning the candy bowl. This year, the Sour Patch Kids brand decided candy wasn't enough. That's Lauren McDonough, the senior director of candy at Mondalez International. This is the first taste of the Sour Patch Kids 13 Days of mischief program and transforming our signature Sour then sweet flavors into a wing flavor is exactly the kind of unexpected mischief our fans love. It brings both brands together in a way that's surprising, playful and delicious. - Says Sour Patch Kids CEO Tyler Durdon. - And yet project mischief has begun, the word brand is used nine times in this press release. - Is there 12 other sort of pranks that the Sour Patch Kids company, like 12 other brands in Sour Patch Kids to Insulin? - Yeah, that's the way it is. - That's the way it is. - What else are we chopping up and putting fucking Sour Patch Kids on? How are these bad boys even going to stay on a wing? - Oh, they melt the Sour Patch Kids down to make the sauce, so it is. - It's got the stickiest sauce in the history of sauces. - 100%. - 100% and the Sour once the sugar starts to, oh, hey guys, this is a fun thought experience you should wait. very obvious when we have weird brand collaborations like this, which brand was more excited than the other to get to be included in this? Which of these brands do you think sought this out? Yeah. It feels like the, uh, uh, uh, Sour Patch Kids brand is calling Wingstop a little thirsty. I feel like they're making the movie cool. Yeah. Yeah. A little bit. I think they've, I think they've embarrassed them. I don't think that Wingstop would voluntarily put chopped up bits of Sour Patch Kids on their wings. I have to think that this was a Sour Patch Kids lead effort. That's my opinion. Oh, see, but I also feel I'm not going to eat these and then come away feeling different about Sour Patch Kids. I'm definitely going to feel different about Wingstop after eating these. So you think Wingstop reached out to Sour Patch Kids or Sour Patch Kids? We just really thought. Sour Patch Kids got up on Wingstop, mounted them. Oh, see, I think, I think, I think Wingstop is a little bit more than them. I think, I think Wingstop contacted Sour Patch Kids in a, and like, oh, we need this way. We got to stand out in the weird news kind of way. Cause Sour Patch Kids, they could add weird Sour Patch Kids to everything. They've been on weird shit to stuff. They've been doing weird commercials. They've had a whole brand of like, our candy will fuck up your hair or get you fired or whatever. Like, don't you want to eat it now for years? And I think Wingstop was like, we need to get in on that weirdness. Can we please have some of your weirdness? You're referencing those Sour than Sweet commercials, which have always bothered me. We're like a big Sour Patch Kids will come and cut off your hair and you'll be like, what the fuck? Or like steal your dog? Yeah. Or steal your dog. But then like, it turns out that it's actually a good thing. And we don't see like the Geico Gecko that like fucking shanking you with like a little pie, like a little sharp pipe and then just being like, and now let's say 15% on your car insurance in 15 minutes. You're confusing with Mentos Griffin because it is not actually a good thing. They cut your hair off but then they look kind of bad about it and you're like, oh, you're okay. It's gaslighting. The Sour Patch Kids gaslight, they're emotionally manipulating you. Yeah. I fucking hate these guys. Yeah. Fuck these guys. They're pouring their babies onto your wings. They're putting their babies on your wings. That's yucky, dude. You want to do another question? I would love that. Yeah, get this off the screen though, please. Oh. And look upon it any longer with my human eyeballs. I wish I was on Love Is Blind so I wouldn't have to see them anymore. Yeah. Yeah. Um, I've noticed there is a coffee machine in the lobby of my dentist's office. I typically schedule my appointments for the first thing in the morning and I'm always hankering for a cup of that good, good bean juice. I can't imagine coffee breath is pleasant for my dentist or my hygienist. Brothers, can I drink some coffee before my cleaning or is it just there for looks? Now that seems like a wild thing to ask, but I'll have a great question. For added context, there are no to go cups that I can see. Yep. That's got to be a mistake. That's got to be it. It is a cured coffee machine and there is a sign that says, but first coffee is from pick me up in Denver. This is a really fantastic question because I go to, you know, a lot of doctor and dentist appointments now that I have two rambunctious boys, they're always getting little scrapes and, uh, you know, scruffles in them. She gets knocked out. She gets just absolutely blasted because of how they're playing, like, you know, tackle football and stuff. Street hockey. And they always do have coffee machines in the lobbies of dentists and doctors, pretty much all of them here. And I always feel like, well, I can't have a, I can't, I can't make a coffee. I can't have a hot beverage because they might call me in any second and then what? I just have, I just have coffee now. It's like, it's, it's appealing though. I do like coffee and I like to be right in your mouth. Is it a business generating thing? It feels like a trap. It feels like a trick. Well, maybe it's to get more bigger than they can sell you on like tooth whitening. Yeah, definitely. Look at this. Look what we did. Oh, do you think maybe they take a before photo as soon as you come in and then they like clean your teeth and they're like, that would get me going to the dentist more. If I could see the, the effect of it. Can you imagine how bad your breath would have to be for a person who spends their days risk deep in someone's gallant to notice? Yeah. Yeah. Oh, coffee is the least of their concerns. I bet. I mean, I would have hardly disagreed with you before this machine was placed in this lobby. To me, I felt like the last thing I do before I go to the dentist would be to brush my teeth at the house, right? Because they're so fucking stupid. They fall for it every day. But they're like, you must be a good, the one a good person. What is your day? Right. Oh, yeah. Twice a day. My dentist has disposable toothbrushes in the bathroom that you can use. I brush my teeth before I leave home and when I get there, then when you get there, they're like snuck in yourself, yeah, but dentists hate nothing more than a good clean mouth that shows up. Yeah. Because I do think they enjoy telling you just how receded your gums are and how fucking gnarly. They like the work. They like that shit. Well, it's not even a needing the work thing. It's a perversion. It's a deeper version. Can you imagine that like cloud nine, high you would ride if you had a, your dental cleaning and the dentist like stopped me and went through and just said, you have the best smelling breath I ever smelled like the rest of my life I would carry that forever. I think you, if you're a dentist, I think you have shut down the part of your brain that detects breath smells like it just you shuffle the, I don't need that anymore. That's not doing me any good. Yeah, I just think like you have shut that part of your brain down like a homicide detective is to like violence, where you just like, it's all work. It still gets me when I'm there with the teeth. It's kind of like you feed it enough roaches to be able to drag in eventually roaches crawling your hand. You'll even notice. Yeah, that's exactly what I care. I think that if I was a dentist and I put my, you know, mask on, I just smeared like mentholated just some fixed vapor inside there, yeah, just a feel a sachet, sachet of good smell. I have a nose gay like a fucking like a plague doctor, a just like an orange with clothes shoved in it. But I'm just like huffing the whole time like a old timey bishop. I like those guys before we, before we wrap up, I had a story, like a news story. I wanted that if you guys want, would indulge me for a couple of minutes, um, I don't normally talk about dizzy much because I feel like that's like my private perversion that I don't need to, yeah, spread it around, but, um, I have a headline I'm going to tell you. And by the end of the story, it will make sense to you. Okay. Okay. Dude, the aristocrats and feed the birds lady runners ejected from widened on 5K by balloon ladies and Jack Sparrow. What? So that's the whole, that's the whole headline. Okay. One more time. Yeah. I'm going to. Let's see if we can wait. Hold on. I want to see if I can come off the who, what, where and why? Don't parse it because we are going to parse it after don't we're going to get hung up. But due to aristocrats, and feed the birds lady why runners ejected from widened on 5K where by balloon ladies and Jack Sparrow. Who? I think the win is probably in the wine and dine 5K. Okay. And is this, this is Washington Post? What is the source from the Washington Walt Disney World News today? Um, so the, the, there are run Disney events, uh, which I is already at every step of this story is more alienating to the one before, like to me personally from my place in the world. There are people run events at Disney, 5K's, 10K's, they get special metals. There are things that happen at them because they don't have to pay for Disney tickets to go run a 5K. I, Travis, I have to imagine the answer is an unqualified yes. I've never looked into the particulars, but I'm sure if you're getting a metal out of the deal, I bet a lot of money's getting extracted any who they had a theme for every different race this year was the aristocrats. And I'll be damned if people didn't go eight shit for these guys. Apparently they love these crazy cats. They opened up more positions in the race to a point where people had to come at 430 in the morning lining up for the 5K and 10K because there were many different, they call them corals of runners. What a humanizing word. A lovely humanizing thing. And along the route, there are some events you could do like fun little things like at the beginning as well, where you can meet characters. For the first time ever, they had a new face character and it was the Feed the Birds Lady from Mary Poppins. Oh yeah. The first. So people feed the birds lady. Feed the birds lady. We're lining up to have their picture taken with the Feed the Birds lady and the aristocrats. If you've paid enough, if you've paid money to do a 5K at Disney World, of course you're not the type of person to say I'm actually not a big enough fan to stop with the Feed the Birds lady. Of course you're like I will line up for the Feed the Birds lady. I'm gonna line up for the Feed the Birds lady. Be the birds mead and greet the fifty dollars a shot No touching the the feed the birds lady and their wrists to cats were reading all these guests who had shown up at 430 to but they Got hung up for so long For some of the for some of these events waiting in as long as an hour For some of these photo opportunities that it got them a late start on the race So that's gonna that's gonna bump me out of my my splat zone I got a I can't keep my heart rate high for an hour as I stop to meet the meet the feed the birds lady especially But I've carefully timed the carbon drops in my stuff. Yeah, dude Like like the train and back to the future three where you're throwing the logs in and they fire at different times That's what I do at a level of breading that I've put around the past the bakes in my tummy Where those they will when you shit your when you shit your shorts on leg three Yep, you're just and that there's just countless runners screaming like thanks feed the bird lady a risen grass Wrap it up Jeremy some of us have got to run So you so for the first time they've apparently struggled with similar things like this in the past So they in a brought in a sort of mechanic that I guess other races like this do Which is people at the end that are marking a very slow pace and if you fall behind like they're the end of the race Like you guys stay ahead of them if I understand it right their pace was one mile an hour So they were not bolting to the end But there were enough people thrown so far off their pace by the feed the birds lady in the aristocrats that they were getting caught And I'm going to show you what they were getting caught by If you were caught by the way by the balloon ladies Who were ladies holding down balloons? I swear I don't know why if you were caught by them then you were Shuttled to the end of the race you basically like the war like the temple guards Well, it's nice to hear in this instant yet well, it's and here's jogging jack jack spare with the balloon Just kicking people I think it's actually girfs still very early morning. That's how that's where we're at right now Yes, and so we're looking at ladies with huge balloons tied to their backs floating over them as if they're signaling to their friends at a Music festival or like they're like they're a sim Sim characters in a Disney branded off their plum bobs and then we got jack sparrow coming around and being like Get out folks. You're too slow savvy To the race pop it fuck off Fuck off of it. Why is the run gone? But don't hold the metal in the moonlight It's very cheaply made and they actually reacts poorly with the moonlight It will corrode if we keep doing jack sparrow impressions people are going to realize they're not very good So we have to we have to move on well by the way movie grip and Johnny devs jack sparrow impression wasn't that good on you Funny it they would make him get on a bus together for the Big loser bus take you to the end He gets your medal. Do you think it any metal? Well, yeah, it's a man. I mean you pay your money Do you think at any point they considered the possibility of getting multiple feed the bird ladies That's a sweet stuff. A row of them. Yeah Five increasingly less convincing feed the hard ladies so the earlier they're all there the better Birds you get Dixie cups of power aid that there. Hey, that fourth one is the bird lady from home one two Hey, get out of here. You can't other other bird lady me So that is and of course that caused quite the kerfuffle people are upset about the bird ladies because I don't know if you guys heard But due to the aristocrats and the feed the birds lady runners were ejected from the wine and dine 5k by balloon ladies in jack sparrow I now hate how much more since that makes to me Then again 10 minutes ago.
