Masty o Rasty? More like "Druggy and Scammy" - Ep 78

The speaker updates listeners on her personal life, sharing that she and her partner Blondie have moved into a dream loft with brick walls and high ceilings, a goal they had long discussed. She describes the challenges of finding such a place and the joy of cohabitation. She then recounts a disappointing date on Feeld with a 45-year-old doctor who catfished her, dominated the conversation without asking questions, and showed an unsolicited explicit photo of another woman. After a side hug goodbye, he pressured her for a kiss, which she rebuffed. The speaker laments that Feeld has become overrun by "straight" users with empty bios, ruining the app's niche appeal for ethically non-monogamous and kinky communities. She reads her own detailed Feeld bio as a model for proper profiles. The episode shifts to a vent about the Iran protests, where she criticizes large Iranian influencers who stayed silent, particularly Romita, who she accuses of lacking substance and later insulting critics. She also critiques Reza Pahlavi, arguing he has squandered 47 years without building community power, charities, or political influence, and warns against blindly following him as a messiah. The speaker admits she has no better alternative but insists on holding him accountable.
[Music] Hey guys! Welcome to another episode of Unfiltered with Sad! Waaah! How long has it been? A good like, what? Five, six months. To be honest with you, I wasn't even going to record this one because I'm currently like setting up at my new house where I moved in with Blondie! Yeah, we moved in together. And so like, I'm setting up a whole proper podcast set in our extra dense/room. So I can film the podcast and actually cut clips of each episode and make it like a proper podcast. You know what I mean? But yeah, going back to that first thing first, yeah, me and Blondie moved in together. What? Can you guys believe? From the guy who I didn't want to date and was calling a walking vibrator to now living together fully. Yikes! We found an amazing loft with like brick walls and huge like Florida ceiling windows and high ceilings. It's literally my dream. And it's funny because from the moment we first met and even you know, even started talking about maybe moving in together some day, we always talked about one day moving into a loft with wood floors and brick accent walls and huge windows. And the fact that I'm now sitting in that exact loft just blows my mind because finding lofts isn't easy because obviously they're like older built. So that means that there's not that many on the market. So when people move into one, they usually don't move out for a long time. So we got insanely lucky. But to be honest, we also were looking for like five, six months. But yeah, it's really cute. Living together has been great. Like, it's so healing to live with a guy that is a real man. And like, really is there for you and is a good partner. Like I genuinely manifest a blondie for each and every one of you. It's been great. And yeah, that's pretty much it. I can't really say much just about it. Oh, that funny thing recently, I, because obviously we're furnishing this house slowly because everything is so expensive. But the funniest part was when I took blondie to home sense for the first time. And obviously he'd never been because he's a man. And so we go in and I'm like, all right, buckle up, get a cart. And I just start throwing things into the cart and I look over at him. And he's like, babe, what's the budget? Like how much are we trying to spend? Like isn't this a lot of items? So I start dying of laughter. And I'm like, oh, honey, you're in amateur. Look at the price tags. He looks over and sees that like everything is obviously like under like 20, 30 bucks. And he's like, holy fuck, what is this place? It was really funny. What else? As for like the open relationship stuff up at all, there's really been like zero action on both of our parts because we're just like, we're busy. We're bucked in busy, babe. We're just so focused on this part of our lives, I guess, and like building our first home together. But there was this one day I went on. I think almost a year ago now, let's run it back. My last day, I was in Vancouver visiting for my sister's graduation. I think it was like June, May, June-ish, so literally almost a year ago. I matched with this like 45 year old doctor on field. And I hadn't been on actual dating so long because again, like me and blondie have both just been so busy with life and adulting and everything. And you know, moving and all of this to even like think about putting time into even meeting anyone else was just like, not priority. So, I don't know, we're kind of in this like if it happens naturally, it happens kind of I, anyways, but in Vancouver, I went on a date. We agreed to meet up at this bar. And as soon as he came in, like red flag number one, okay, he was not as cute as his pictures. I think I got catfished again a little bit. And he wasn't like physically my type either. Like I've, you guys know, okay, I'm a tall girl. I'm 5'8". So your girl, you know, needs a taller guy. I'm also like thicker. So you know, I got a booty, I got thighs. But for me to be attracted to a man, he has to be taller than me at the very minimum. And I just, I love myself a thick man, okay, like a thick thigh. Mmm. That's my weakness. Anyways, he comes in and we get to talking and, you know, getting to know each other and everything. And tell me if you guys have also had this happen to you. But when someone goes on a date with me, they're gonna, you know, at the end of the date, they're gonna think to themselves like, damn, that was a great date. I had a great time. Me while me and my head, I'm like, eh, that was lame. You know what I, because like, I'm a great conversationalist. So like duh. Of course you had a great time. At least one of us did. I'm a great person to want on a date with. I'm so fun. Like, if you're not matching the energy and giving that same vibe back to me, like, ugh, it's so one sided. And then like another thing like, okay, I hate this so much, but I'll ask a question. So for example, because he was also in an open relationship with his wife, I will ask a question like, you know, when did you open your relationship with your partner? And then he'll answer, but there'll be no reciprocity. Like he won't ask me the same question back or any question for a matter of fact. Like, what the hell? I genuinely think there needs to be like some sort of course that men can take of like conversation conversationalist. No, conversing, conversing 101, okay. Because the entire date, it was like me asking questions and him answering. And then at one point, he says, hmm, you're very hard to read. Like I can't get a gauge if you're having a good time. So I just look at him straight, like dead pan as fuck and I'm like, do you think I am? And he's like, not sure. And then I say, well, it would be nice to have a question asked of me every now and then, since I feel like I'm a detective right now doing an examination on you because it is so one sided. And then Pashmashir, he's like, I don't know, it's just because like you just have such a strong energy. I guess I'm kind of intimidated. You are like immediate pussy shriveling answer, okay. My vagina inverted back into itself. Like I am a Barbie doll now. I have no pussy anymore because that was just so, for once I just want to go on a date where the other guy is just as good of a conversationalist as me. Although I did once, you guys remember Woody. Oh, Woody. Woody was my all time favorite. Like Woody to this day, sometimes I'm like, I think about it and I'm like, fuck. Another thing I didn't like was that he was talking about the dates that he's had and what he's into. And then he whips out his phone and shows me a picture of this naked girl that he was fucking and he took a picture of from above. So it was just like her torso and face naked and his hand on her neck and I'm sitting there going, what in the actual fuck? Like why are you showing me this? And I'm like, I'm just off. And secondly, did she even give you consent to just whip that out anywhere and show people? I don't think so. I swear to my mother fucking god you guys never trust men with photos of anything, anything, never trust them. Anyway, so then he drives me back to my Airbnb and I lean in and give him like a really awkward side hug and I'm like, okay, bye. I go upstairs. And finally he texts me like maybe like 10 minutes later and he's like, why didn't I kiss you goodbye? So I just reply with a shrugging emoji and he says, I guess I was being too polite. And then I say, well, you know, I intimidate boys so it's okay, I'm used to it. And he replies, he's like, well, I'm not going to see you again until you're back, want to come out for a proper goodbye or I lost my chance. And then I'm like, ew, so I reply. And like, okay, like let's not push it. If it was going to happen, it would have happened organically. And then he replies back and he's just like, no, please just a minute. Ew, after this, I just didn't reply because like, ew, you're 45, bro. What the fuck? I swear some men just don't evolve past the age of 12. But ew, it's so nasty. Yeah.
[LAUGHTER] Yeah, so that's that. That's a little bit of a lift-up update, even though that was from a year ago. I don't know. Like, field has been so weird, because that's the main dating app, quote-unquote, that I use. But one thing I've noticed is that I feel like more people are finding out about field. And so now when I go on the apps, and one of the reasons why I haven't done anything, aside from, again, being busy with the whole house, and blah, blah, blah, is the fact that it's become a little bit mainstream. So I see a lot of just like straight people on there that I know aren't like in open relationships. They're not kinky. They're not, you know, like the kind of fringe relationship or lifestyle types that use field. And I see so many straight heterosexuals. It literally means the same thing. So what are you saying? What are you saying? I see so many heterosexual men on there who 100% have like exhausted apps like Tinder and Hinge and Bumble and all that. And now they're just like, they heard, you know, through the grapevine or through from someone that, yeah, field is great. Everyone's like, oh, on the ass fuck on there and looking at fuck. So they come onto field. They create zero biography. They have like these shitty ass pictures. And or if they have a bio, it's like looking for fun. Like no fucking shit, you piece of shit. They're ruining the app. Literally, they're ruining the app. And it's really annoying. But like you need to have, okay, word to the wise, if anyone actually wants to create a field profile, let me read you guys my field profile. So you can see what I mean. Like you need a proper ass profile on field. You can't just half ass it. And all these like straight people are half assing it and pissing me off. Okay, so this is what my bio says. It says Persian, ethically non-monogamous, partnered and crazy and love, kinky, five eight and then parentheses, I'm five 11 in heels. So I love me a man over six one. And then I wrote switch so they know like, I can be both dominant and submissive. And then it says looking to connect with like-minded humans for consensual adult playtime and stimulating conversations. Let's go out for a drink, talk, and if we touch, he thought, let's go out for a drink, talk. And if we touch each other's minds in a positive way and there is genuine connection, then maybe we can touch each other's bodies too. Ooh, invite me out dancing. I'm wet already. Outside of all of this though, I'd love to just make more friends in the community. Hygiene and safer sex practices are a non-negotiable, not interested in being a unicorn, people with no face pictures and empty bios or ones that say looking for a good time. No shit, buddy. So that's a good bio. Anyway, as you know, field has just been like, field has been so bad, field is so bad. But again, I'm hearing from everyone that all the dating apps are trash. I just never thought field would get trash. I think it's just become trash because more and more people are finding out about it. And coming onto the app for the wrong reasons, you know what I mean? They're just like, oh, everyone on field wants to thuc. So it's becoming like the new Tinder, which is like really annoying. Yeah, anyways, moving on. If you don't live under a rock, you know what has been happening with the whole Iran situation. So I want to take it back and just like vent a little bit. And I'm sorry in this podcast, you know, in advance. I'm sorry if this podcast comes off a little bit negative or a little bit like really venty, but I just, I really need to vent to someone and I feel like who better than you guys who kind of know me and know that I am rainbow sunshine and sparkles. But sometimes the inner beast just needs to get loose and just talk some shit, okay? So, and you know, like this whole podcast is kind of just like me and you were on a phone call and I'm just like venting to my bestie, okay? So I want to take it back to the very start and go on this like journey with you guys because I am really, what's the word? I'm all the things actually, you know, it's not even one emotion and I'm sure maybe some of you can relate and maybe some of you can't. But I'm mad, I'm sad, I'm livid, I'm annoyed, I'm proud in some ways, I'm embarrassed in other ways, I'm emotional, I'm frustrated, I'm hopeful, I'm just like on a motherfucking roller coaster, okay? Like I feel like I'm sitting watching a movie where you know those scary movies where the girl is walking towards the killer and you're screaming at the screen, you're like no, don't walk into that room, he's gonna kill you, you idiot. But obviously she can't hear me and his oblivious. So she walks into this trap and she gets killed. That's the feeling that I've had throughout this entire situation with what's happening in Iran, but let's run it back to the top. When the first, you know, small protest broke out in the Bazaar, obviously I was posting about it immediately, okay, like my first story post was, let me check here, hold on, let me bring my archive on stories. December 29th, okay? By January 6th, it had obviously gotten bigger. But my first grievance started when like, I don't know, I just noticed that a lot of big Iranian influencers hadn't posted anything yet. Like just up the top of my head, like there's this creator on Instagram and I like his content, okay? His name is Omed Afshar and he does like food content and he didn't post anything for the first two to three weeks. Yeah, I mean, obviously he's posted now, but like the urgency was not there, do you know what I mean? Or people like, there's another girl on TikTok, her name is Soyya Soltani, she does like, "Mokorani content." Literally crickets or like even bigger people, like Leah Katab or Tara Yami, like just radio silence. The worst was that girl. Ah, fuck was Romina, Romitav, Romitav VLZ or whatever, she's on TikTok, I don't know if you have seen her content. I had seen her content a bunch of times, just like on my four-you page. And I was always just like, "Mm, okay." 'Cause she's just like, her content is just like lip syncing, which is like a skill, like she's really good at it. It's really hard to do. But then also like, okay, like you have no personality in your content. All you do is lip sync to audios on TikTok. I'm like, all right. And most of the time you're just using trending audios, you know what I mean? And she's pretty, so it's like, okay. But like, where's the substance in that? Anyways, she posted nothing. I'm pretty sure she even like posted some stories later, calling Iranians animals, 'cause they were, I guess like giving her shit for not posting anything. Which like, I'm sorry, you're the animal. You're literally, I don't wanna be mean to women. Don't wanna be mean to the girlies, but like sometimes, sorry. Like you're a 30-year-old making shitty TikTok audios. And like the craziest brand deal you can get is Fashion Nova. Like that's gross. By the way, just you guys know, like in the social media influencer world, if you work with Fashion Nova, if you do a brand deal with them, a lot of brands won't work with you because they see Fashion Nova as like cheap, which it is. Yeah, some cool stuff though, but like in general, like as an influencer, once you work with Fashion Nova, you're kind of fucked. Anyways, and then you look at her comment section and it's all just like men drooling over her. Like okay. So one of you actually said to me that she started to, she tried to start a makeup line, but it failed, which makes so much sense, 'cause again, as a social media professional, I've worked in this industry for 13 years. If you don't have a personality, you can't like influence people to do things. Even if you have millions of followers, like your audience need to like feel connected to you in some sort of way and have that personal connection for them to then listen to something that you're telling them to buy. Like again, making audios, using TikTok audios, doesn't create, doesn't get people to connect to your personality. They're just watching you to laugh or just watching you 'cause you're pretty and that's it. You know? Yeah, anyways, having followers doesn't mean shit if your content doesn't actually like create connections with the people watching you. Anyways, yeah, so get the fuck outta here, Romita. So January 8th, I post a story where I write because I was getting some messages and I wrote, you know, hey, some of you were asking me why I don't share videos of people chanting "Javi Cha," which was a lie because I did share one. So I write, you know, hey, first off, I've seen some videos of people proving that some of the videos have the audio altered and like that obviously doesn't apply to all the videos because as we saw later, there was a lot of videos where people were chanting "Javi Cha," and that's just the truth. But the second part of why I don't share them too is just because I personally don't think this man is the best option. But I also recognize that my opinion is irrelevant and it doesn't mean shit because I don't live in Iran. And if the people of Iran want a fucking potato to be their next president, then fuck it up sis, Let's go, you know?
Now, I mean, to open up why I don't like Rosalpah, that it's kind of obvious, you know, in 47 years he hasn't so much has managed to McDonald's and I think more importantly, like in 47 years, he could have done so much for the Iranian community, even outside of Iran. Like, he could have started a charity that gives scholarships to Iranian students or ones who are like international students because you know how like international students when, for example, someone from you don't want to come to Canada and study, they have to pay like three times the tuition. So if a Canadian kid is paying like let's say $10,000 for a semester, like international students are paying $30,000. So like you could have created a scholarship to give out to those students. He could have started a fucking company, a business, and employed all Iranian staff. He could have started a foundation supporting Iranian political prisoners in their families, the ones who come like through refugee status. He could have, I don't know like funded media, think tanks, leadership programs, anything that actually builds power for a community. Fuck it. Like, he could have spent his entire time paying American politicians and lobbying the fuck out of Washington so that now when we run into this position, we're not in a point where nobody fucking will talk to him and no one gives a fuck about him. But he did none of that. And to me, that just screams, I don't give a fuck. Also, side note, like Farah Pahlevi with her iconic fashion, she could have started a fashion house. Like, it could have been like Gucci Versace Pahlevi. Like Pahlevi could have been a fashion house. But no, these people didn't do jack shit with their lives. They're just a bunch of entitled rich ass fucks who did nothing. And now suddenly they're put on a pedestal and like, I understand the notion of like, okay, so I had if not him, then who? And that's why I'm like, no, you guys are right. I literally have no fucking answer to that question. I'm not like, well, versed enough. I don't know. And hence why I'm not using my social media to fully denounce him. I just like criticize the parts of him on my socials that I see are not suited for this job. So that people aren't just blindly following him because that's been the issue. People are just blindly making him into this messiah for no reason. And it's so annoying. Like, sure, follow him because we have no one else. I get that. But don't give him the complete immunity card. If anything, now that he's a politician, he should be under much more scrutiny. And that's where the first frustration comes in, where anytime I would bring up something that was like, hmm, I just have a question about this or something where I'm like, you know, wait a minute, guys, let's just, you know, let's roll it back and think for a second about this. I get met with the sentiment that like, now's not the time. We're like, you're ruining our unity. Like, fuck that small minded thinking, you fuck ass, guzu. If anything, like now is the exact time to question people because when a movement refuses criticism, that's when it turns into the very thing it claims to fight. Blind loyalty is how dictators are created. Like, healthy skepticism is how democracies are built. I don't know. I just feel like if someone is serious about leading a country of like 80, 90 million people, they should be able to handle criticism. They should be able to handle questions and scrutiny without their supporters losing their goddamn minds. I don't know. I just, I feel like accountability is not division. And I feel like questioning power is not betrayal. Like, it's literally the foundation of a free society. And if we're supposed to, you know, if we're like supposedly fighting for a democratic, democratic, democratic Iran, then people need to start acting like it. Like, can't even speak because I'm so frustrated. I don't know. It just, okay. This leads me to my second frustration is those like, fuck ass extremist monarchists, okay? Like not even like the regular monarchist, whatever. I'm talking about the extremist ones, whereas like, you so much as breathe the wrong way and you're insanely attacked. Like some of you will not believe me. But if I showed you my DMs at one point in like the height of it all, I was getting up to 200 messages a day all from pages who don't even follow me. But they're like real people from real Instagram pages. I wasn't like bots or anything. Just because I said something they didn't like, I was getting attacked it in the hordes. Like death threats galore. It's like, it's just, it's so infuriating to see because it's like, how the fuck are you fighting a for a democracy when you can't even act within a democratic mindset? Like it blows my mother fucking mind up. Because like for me, I genuinely live my life by the belief that I may disagree with your opinion. But so long as it's not something like, you know, like a grown man's opinion being that he thinks he should touch kids. As long as it's not something bad and it's not anything like that, it's great that we have different opinions. In fact, I love having opposing opinions with people who have like the gall in wear with all to have those opposing bit opinions without jumping at my throat. I may not agree with your opinion, but I will fight for your right to have it because I think I have a right to, like, I have a big advocate for sharing my opinion and having an opinion. So I want you to as well. So long as we're both respectful to each other's opinions. Agreed. I disagree, bitch. I am so passionate about this. And I don't know. Again, it might be because I'm such an outspoken person myself that what I want for myself, I want for you to, you know, I really champion the right for others to also be outspoken without being met with hate. Anyway, so going back to the timeline. So January 11th was actually the first protest I went to downtown. And protests had already been happening, but I personally just wasn't going. And the reason is because in my brain, protests have to be strategic. The whole point of a protest is awareness. You're trying to make noise so that people like outside your community see it, hear it, and ultimately start asking questions. But as usual, a lot of the early protests were happening in Richmond Hill or North York, which is, you know, for people who don't live in Toronto. Those areas are heavily Iranian populated suburbs. So they're not the city. They're not Toronto. They're like, I think Richmond Hill from where I live is a good like 45 minutes to an hour drive away. North York is like maybe half a knoll. North York is like 40 minutes because with traffic, Richmond Hill is maybe like an hour 20 kind of vibe. So in my mind, I was like, wait a second, you know, if we're protesting in neighborhoods where the majority of people all are already Iranian, who the fuck are we trying to reach with our message? Because we already know what's happening. And the point of a protest again is not to just gather with people who already agree with you and know what the fuck is happening. The point is to bring attention to the issue. You want media coverage. You want random Canadians walking by and asking, oh, what is going on? You want people learning about what's happening in Iran? That's why like when the protests started, you know, happening downtown, that made way more sense to me because downtown is where the visibility is. It's where the tourists are. It's where the journalists are. It's where people from, you know, all different communities are. So when people were protesting in Richmond Hill and then also complaining that the news wasn't covering it, I remember thinking like, well, maybe it's because you're fucking protesting wrong. Yeah, thanks. If your goal is awareness, you actually have to put the protests where people can see it. Otherwise, you're just preaching to the choir. Anyway, so they finally had one January 11th. We went. It was like pretty small and really poorly planned. But I noticed something really interesting. Anytime someone would chant anything other than Javi Chah or Pahlevi Baimigayde or King, there's all Pahlevi. The other group would chant louder to drown them out. And like, okay, I need to say this before I go on. Like I said, I do not have a problem with people chanting Javi Chah if that's what they believe in. They have a right to chant it. I grew up in Canada, okay, I grew up in a country where we're taught that every voice has the right to be heard. And I, like I said, I genuinely believe in that principle. My problem though is not with people having opinions. My problem is with people trying to silence other opinions. Because what I've been seeing lately and I've gone through myself is that if someone chants something different or questions Pahlevi or maybe even criticizes Pahlevi, suddenly they're labeled as regime supporters, traders, divisive, you know, whatever label you want to put on them. Put on them. And like, that mentality is dangerous. Again, if we're claiming that we're fighting for democracy, then democracy means people are allowed to disagree. Democracy means people can chant different things. Democracy means we defend each other's right to speak even when we don't agree. I don't know guys. I can't
I've been clear about my position. I don't like Resla Padavi. I don't support him, but I'm also not going to go around attacking every person who does support him Because again at the end of the day the people inside Iran should be the ones deciding their future my role sitting outside the country is not to dictate that outcome So again, my stance is pretty straightforward people are allowed to support him and in the same breath people are also allowed to criticize him People are allowed to chant what they want at protests especially when it's helping the cause as a whole and if we're actually serious about building a democratic future for Iran Then we need to start acting like people who believe in democracy Not people who only support freedom when the opinion matches their own Anyways, the next protest I went to was like the huge one that I'm sure a lot of you guys saw on social media. There was this really big one in downtown Toronto I went you know because I was like yeah, fuck yes, finally there Gonna you know going to they're gonna be in like Middle of downtown. So it was San Khofa Square formerly known as Dundas Square So we're gonna get a lot of visibility the news will absolutely cover it because I got this point They can't say stylin when we're like closing down a really busy area in downtown Toronto. So they'll be forced So we get there and you know first I was I had a motion of like pride seeing so many Iranians together It felt really nice For 20 minutes because after that I felt like I just I felt like I wasn't at a protest. I felt like I was at a presidential campaign rally and we are trying to get people to vote for Pahlavi. It felt like a MAGA rally honestly Because like Pahlavi himself Has said I don't want to be king I have no interest in that. I'm only here to be a transitional leader and Then you get literally everyone at the protest shouting king Resla Pahlavi like either you guys are Slow or you guys generally don't care what he says and you just want to blast your own messages and your own beliefs No matter what even the leader quote-on-quote leader says Like genuinely there was just three chance the entire I think I want to say we were there for like an hour maybe tops And then we left because I was like fuck this but there was like three chance the entire time king Resla Pahlavi Pahlavi by me guy the and Javi Cha okay now Let's let's be strategic okay like let's put our thinking caps on for a second Let's say you're walking by a Chinese protest okay and The only thing you hear from that protest is like King Hongshin That's all you hear as a non-Chinese person You'd be like hmm okay cool. So they're like rallying for their king But if you walk by the same Chinese Processed and they're holding up hundreds of signs of people who had been murdered and they were chanting things like please Please please help the Chinese Then you'd be like hmm. I personally would take out my phone and search about what is happening there and why we need to please please help the Chinese Anyway, so again after like being there for an hour We left because even when I tried to get the crowd to chant in English to I got some people yelling at me And I felt like I just like literally wasn't welcome, you know I Don't know but at the end of the day to also like fuck me. I don't matter The protest as a whole was great because a lot of people came But I don't know if it was effective. I don't know if like we like anything happened like you know what I mean? It's like okay cool the optics were great We got some great social media videos out of it, but All right, what else like okay, and You know what I mean? There was no ROI. There was no return on investment in my opinion I Just can't shake the fact that some of these monarchists are literally no different than the bassy Jews in Iran Like it's a very like you're either with us or you're with them I don't know in my opinion the the strongest sign That someone is intelligent is the ability to consider another person's perspective without becoming defensive Well, my god. Oh my god, which leads me to another thing I've recently noticed that Iranians do and they're the masters of okay like props shout out to Iranians because y'all be killing it in this one avenue Now I don't know you know let me preface by saying I don't know if this is because of being educated in the Iranian school system I don't know Would love to like hear your guys's opinion, but or maybe we need like a sociologist or maybe psychologist to really come and and study this phenomena but What I've seen a lot of is They will they will do two things really well. Okay, they love doing this they will fully read what you have written or listen to what you're saying and Genuinely they will take the first word third word and last word of your sentence and that's all they intake and then they run with it The second thing that they do is Iranians love to use the straw man fallacy and to give you an example if you don't know what the straw man fallacy is For example, I come up to you and say hey, I think we should all eat healthier Someone who uses the straw man fallacy will turn around and be like oh what so now you think we should just all make it make all the McDonald's illegal and set fire to all the snack Brand factories and put up a law where people only have to eat salads for every wheel or else we send their families to the colony is to work until they die from exhaustion Like what They'll take what you said and they'll add a million things to it that you didn't even say Oh my god, it's in it's insane how much I've had this happened to me in the past month and and it just opened my eyes I'm like why the fuck you know I mean because like the first time it happens you're like okay, whatever the second time it happens You're like okay the fifth time you're like wait a minute. There's a little bit of a pattern the 10th 20th 30th 40th 50th 60th 70th 100th time it happens. You're like what the fuck? This isn't this is a cultural issue I think I Genuinely if there's like one of you who is studying psychology or sociology or just like ethnicities whatever like One of you needs to actually study this because I think this could be your PhD thesis because it's actually insane I don't know oh in the middle of all of this too I Also for the first time had someone outright like end of friendship with me usually it's like the other way around Not to like not to sound like you know that sounded so pick me like nobody ever ends their friendships me only me ending them No, I don't want to sound pick me but like genuinely like I've usually I'll just like or like sometimes the friendship just fizzles out But I'd never have I had never had someone Literally come up to me and be like I don't want to be your friend anymore. So it was like a really It's really weird. Interesting a little bit humbling but at the same time like go fuck yourself because okay Let me tell you the story so I just feel like during this whole thing a Lot of true colors are coming out for a lot of people Some of you actually noticed that I had unfollowed this person and deleted their episode of the podcast but to run it back When the Iran stuff started I guess like end of December You know January 7 8 9 people went on the streets. So it was like a good week of shit hitting the fan and I had noticed that this one person had Not posted anything about you don't and mind you This is someone who is like super vocal about free Palestine and has also used the women life freedom protests in their art that they create as well So when they were silent about it. I was like okay. This is fucking weird. Hello like are you like hello? like are you alive? and The people around me who know this person were equally as confused because it just didn't make any sense So finally January 11th almost like two weeks after the start of everything they post a single story post and It's the video where do you guys remember that video went kind of viral of the protesters? They were in the dark and they have their flash they're like iPhone flashes on They post that and then in the next story they quickly post yeah But also free Palestine free suit on free Congo like Okay, yes, but like What? Now you know if your friends with me and you know me you know that I'm not someone who likes to keep shit in okay I am blunt and I am direct with my friends if I care about you I will tell you how I feel or what I think So I reply to their story and I'm gonna tell you verbate. I'm gonna read the message here because I have it So that you know exactly what I wrote I wrote hey Not coming from an accusatory or finger pointing energy at all But I was kind of
kind of disappointed, it took you so long to post anything, crying emoji face. I don't think that's a bad message to send your like close friend. This person leaves me on red. So I'm like, that's fucking weird. So I weighed another week and I'm like, okay, like let me text them like this is kind of weird. So I say, let me open the text. Hey, are we good? Question mark. The last message I sent you, you left me on red. I wanted to check in on you with everything that's happening. And you guys, the reply left me shook. Okay, let me read the reply. Hey, Sahaja, I appreciate your message and I hope you, your family and blondie are doing as good as you can be during a situation like this. I don't want to create any more divisiveness than we've already been dealing with in our community. But to speak my truth, I don't believe we are in alignment as friends and believe we should leave things here as is. I'll always hold respect for you and I know you're hurting, but I am not your target. I didn't appreciate you coming for me when we should be checking in with each other. Please remember I am Iranian too and I'm also mourning. Let's leave things here and I hope yours and blondies love ones are safe back home. So I'm just saying they're like, what in the fuck? Be so fucking for real right now. You're kidding. No, like you're actually lying. So then I reply and I say, I didn't come for you. I empathetically told you how I feel. I even verbatim said that it wasn't accusatory or to point fingers so that you didn't think it was coming from that energy. But if you want to end a friendship over that, then so be it. Like what the fuck you guys? I was literally so shook. Like what, like going back to their message, like what do you mean? I am not your target. I don't appreciate you coming for me. Like how the fuck did I target you? Like what the fuck? If anything it's now clear as day that you're a fucking coward and like honestly, good riddance because I'd have no space for those types of people in my life who are just like fake and performative as fuck. The only reason why you're not posting about Iran is because I know for a fact that your audience on social media consists of a lot of like extreme leftist free Palestine types and you're staying quiet so you don't lose them. Instead of educating them that free Iran does not automatically mean fuck Palestine. Like you could educate people but instead you decide to stay quiet like a fucking bitch because you're afraid of speaking up about all the people who were killed. Fuck it. Speak about the schoolgirls who were killed. Like you could, there's so many human rights injustices happening that you don't even have to get into the politics of it. The fuck? No, no, but the craziest part, the craziest part you guys wasn't that this person wasn't even posting. This person was posting videos of themself like dancing and twerking. Like be so fucking for real dude. Like I like I'm I was so shook. And this person like loves to use the whole like women life freedom thing in one of their like in their art. And like I swear to God like fuck you. Honestly, fuck you and your performative ass fake ass bullshit. Honestly, honestly, good riddance. Another thing that boils my blood is the fact that these extreme monarchists are so misogynistic too. Like did you guys notice how they were going left, right and center, canceling every woman who said the smallest things that they don't like? But then they're the same people who follow that fuck ass ice on Eslami guy. Fuck that man. You all are seriously on mother fucking well. Alright, it's time to spill some tea. Listen, I have like secretly like alluded to this before in previous podcasts, but I could never like talk about it because like I don't want to start drama man. Like I know like I get in myself into these drama situations, but I genuinely didn't want to start drama. I didn't want to be the person who's like spilling tea all the time. So I just kept it in. But we need to fucking talk about mother fucking king rom. Okay, it is time for me to pull out my mother fucking receipts on this fuck ass loser ass bitch. It has been three, four years, five years, no longer of this bullshit that I have just been I had to have screenshots. Okay, I have screenshots that I've just been keeping for the right day and just today is the day guys. Today is the day. A lot of you guys DMed me and you guys were like, Hey, so how to talk about rom and at first I had no idea what you guys were talking about because I haven't blocked for like a good I think I want to say like a year or two I've had him blocked. Let me start off by saying that this man is the biggest loser and the fakes person in the entire fucking world. Okay, in his podcast, he puts on this persona and he's like, Oh, I'm so artistic that I could never have a nine to five and live that kind of life in the matrix. And he looks down upon people who actually have like successful careers and shit. He's like, I could never do that and be like working for the man. Blah, blah, blah, blah. Um, correction. You're an uneducated loser who can't even keep a job as a dishwasher in a restaurant correction. You're a fucking drug addict who literally does nothing with their life except talk shit about people who actually have successful lives. He's all like, Yeah, I'm a nomadic artist. Um, correction. It's because at 40, however the fuck years old he is, you haven't still done shit with your life correction. Sahar Golshani has receipts of all the times you've texted her begging for money. And I'm not the only person he's done this to. He's done this to every single podcast. He's done this to members of his discord channel that he used to have. He's done this to every single fan that he gains access to. He has borrowed money, not even borrowed at this point. He has scammed people out of so much money, full well knowing that he will never pay them back. It is in mother fucking sane. Okay. And I'm telling you the only reason why this asshole moved to Iran and is now putting on a concert with, you know, full support of the government is because he couldn't live here anymore. He owes everybody money like thousands upon thousands of dollars from so many people because this guy is just like too much of an artist to actually work and have a life. And all he wants to do is fucking do drugs and have sex. That's literally all this guy does. He gets fucked up and then he fucks and then he comes onto his podcast and he pretends to be this artistic like higher than thou person like go fuck yourself, dude. You are literally the worst person I've ever seen. And he's also so fake, dude. In real life, all he does is name drop. Yeah, I hung out with this person. I did that. Like he's literally genuinely. I wish I had ended my friendship with him sooner. I mean, yeah, I, okay, let's run it back with the receipts. Okay. Here's the tea. So when I first met Ram, it was October 30th, 2020. Damn, so it's been six years. Yeah, bitch, I'm coming at you with fucking time mother fucking stamps. Okay, October 30th, 2020. He comes over to my house. We're having a get together. We meet him, but my head, some of my friends over. It was great. I shit you not the next fucking day. I get a text from him. Let me read it verbatim. He texts me and he says, Saejun, thank you so much for last night. I had such a wonderful time. It was so great to hang out and have a laugh. Let's death try to catch up again before I leave. I wish we had recorded last night.
it would have been a great podcast. Sahar, I have a favorite ask and I'm super embarrassed to be honest, but is there any way you can lend me a thousand dollars and I pay you back in a few weeks? I have literally asked several of my rich ass friends and they're all like "Machaeli broke him." I'm like, "Yeah, right. Ha ha, you live in a $2 million mansion." Anyways, I get paid $10,000 for a project I did in a few weeks and I need to pay for my green card application and I'm a thousand dollars short from the 5K it will cost me. I hate being in this position to ask for help but such is the state of my existence right now and please don't taut off if you're not in a position to help I'll totally understand. I can't wait till I'm financially stable again and back on my feet. I'm always the one who is helping out. Hula said no pressure, talk soon. I'm sitting there like, "What the fuck? I just met you last night." And like I found it so weird, so then I reply and I'm like, "Hey, no problem any time." And if you are free before you leave, for sure, let's hang out again, ask for the money. No taut off dude, I totally wish. But to be honest, COVID has impacted probably everyone so bad that I'm not in a position to be able to help you out. I just like randomly said something 'cause I'm not gonna fucking give a thousand dollars to some guy I literally just met. Do I look like an idiot? So then this just rubbed me in the wrong way. So then I reach out to like two of my friends who I'm not gonna name 'cause I don't wanna bring them into this drama. One of them you guys know and another one is like, a friend in the art scene in Toronto, who also knows Ram. And I'm like, "Guys, what the fuck? Look at what Ram asked me." So the first friend that you guys know was like, "Yeah, what the fuck?" He asked me the same thing too after I did a podcast with him and I turned him down. That's so fucking weird. What the fuck is wrong with this guy? The second friend who is in the art community was like, "Yasaha, he does this to everyone." And unfortunately, I've given him money twice and I've never gotten paid back. Like he owes a lot of people money. At this point I'm like, "What the fuck?" And I'm like, "Okay, well, I don't know. Like maybe, let me just keep him at an arm's length distance." And just like, you know, not say anything yet. Like maybe he will pay these people back because I don't know, his podcast is blowing up and he's getting some relevancy again and he's gonna tour and do shows. August 19th, 2022, okay? Time stamp number two, two years later. I get another text from him randomly out of nowhere where he sends me a picture of himself working as a cook in a restaurant like next to a whole bunch of fried chicken. Let me read this one. He says, "Hey girl, how are you?" I'm so, so sorry for asking, but is there any way you can lend me $1,000 and I pay you back next week when I get my paycheck? I hate being in this shitty financial position and always asking for help. Vellig de ge bezu dee, okay, Misha. I've sold like $30,000 in tickets but won't get that money until after my shows. If there's a small chance you can help, it would be a lifesaver. Also, this is me at work. Although I cut my hand last week and got stitches. It's so crazy. From one side, I'm busting my balls and on another side, I'm adored by a lot of fans. Any cheat I'm doing fan, I can't adore Mikoan Vagant. Again, so then again, I'm like, hey man, I can't help you out. I am not comfortable. Like, fuck off. I mean, I didn't say fuck off. But at this point, I'm like, down this insane. Like, this is literally you guys, how this guy lives. I've always wondered where the fuck he spends his money because at this point, he was putting on shows. So he must have been making some money because every time he was touring and doing shows, it's not like he was staying in hotels. He was literally asking on Instagram who his fans are and staying at his fans' houses. God knows what he probably stole from their houses. Allegedly, I think. Like, his little kitchen cook job, aside from the shows, must have been paying him what, minimum wage or something. So where the fuck is this money going? And that's one part I don't have solid, facts of. I've heard rumors about it. A lot of people just say that he just does drugs and that's all it is. I don't know, that's a rumor. I mean, he is a drugie, but I've heard other things too. I've heard about something about like a gambling addiction, but again, I don't know if all these are true, so I'm not gonna like say them as facts. I'm just saying that I've heard some insane shit, you know? Anyways, then we get to January 6th, 2024. Okay, another two years passes. Again, I get a text. So I hate asking for help. It's the most degrading thing ever, and I will totally understand if you're unable to help out. But is there any way I can borrow $500 for two weeks? I'm waiting for a 20k check, and then life will be easy for a while, and I'm so broke right now and need to pay some expenses, and I've asked a few friends. If there is a small chance you can help, I will be forever grateful. And then again, I'm like, "Hey, I'm so sorry you're going through a hard time, "that really sucks, nothing against you, "but I just don't feel comfortable lending money "to people as I've been burned by it before. "I hope you understand, hope things work out." Like, this guy, I'm telling you, and again, if this is what he's sending me, he's sending these exact same messages to everyone. So if every time he's sending these messages out to at least, like, I don't know, two, 300 people, he's getting some money out of it. With the full intention of never paying these people back, and it's always like, "Can I borrow $1,000?" I have a check for $50,000 coming in tomorrow. Can I borrow this? I need to pay for my mom's whatever. Girl, just go on Twitter right now and search his name. There's like his fans from his Discord community are also being like, "Yo, he borrowed money from us too." Like, that's insane. I saw on Twitter someone being like, "He started a Go fund me, I guess, at some point, "to be like, I'm raising money to release my album." Guess what? That album never came out. This guy has zero integrity, you guys. Like, he's asked so many people for money. He's a loser. He's a loser who literally just lives to probably, again, beyond substances, and not have an ounce of responsibility for his life. You wanna know what the nail in the coffin though, of our friendship, why I blocked him was? He would always talk mad shit about Narcy, okay? Mad shit about Narcy. He has a concert in Toronto. He has Narcy open for him. Why? Because he needed her to use her to sell tickets. This man has zero, zero, zero, zero, zero, self respect for himself and now for his dad, which leads us to right now. That's why he moved to Iran. Like I said, he couldn't live here anymore. How can you live in North America when nine out of 10 people around you are consistently asking you to pay them back? Some of his, I don't know how true this is, but on Twitter, I saw some of the fans were like, he blocked us. So obviously, his only option is to now go to the next opportunity, because that's what he is. An opportunist who will go wherever there is money. So now he fucks off to eat on, and now he's having a concert there, effectively saying a huge fuck you to all of his listeners and even a bigger fuck you to his dad. Like, this guy is not the cool hipster guy. He pretends to portray on his podcast, okay? He's literally nothing but a lying loser, a lying 40-something-year-old loser who has never done anything with his life. Also, aside from maybe two songs, his music fucking sucks. Like, "Rush." I've been holding this shit on for like, as you guys can see now, six years, man. Six years, I've been holding onto this tea, and I've kept it inside, and I've just been like, bro, one day, one day. This all ties back to the feeling I have where I'm like, I hate saying this, okay? I really do hate the fact that these words are coming out of my mouth, okay? And I'm sorry if some of you might get offended. This is just how I feel, and I'm sharing it. I hate feeling like this, but I want a refund on being Iranian. Like, there's just too much fuckery for me to handle. And so, I've kinda made the executive decision that I am no longer catering to this community exclusively anymore, like, for example, okay? For example, charlots, my clothing brine. I want to say brand and line at the same time. My clothing line has always had good sales, okay? To be totally transparent with you guys, like, our monthly sales were maybe like, five thousand, sometimes if we had a good month, there would be like 10 thousand, which like 50% of that goes to just paying staff and paying for marketing, blah, blah. So it's like never been something that I'm like, making an insane amount of money on, okay? because also like Persians just now.
never really supported my shit. The moment though, that I release three designs just in this past year that are more like wider, Middle Eastern geared. So like we release the hat that says in shallowing my way through life. Then we release the t-shirt that says everything I like to do is Haram. And then we release the crop top that says halal in the streets, Haram in the sheets. When I tell you, our sales went in sane. It is unbelievable. Even-- OK, backtracking, even before these three drops, when you look at my customer list, it's like 80% non-Iranians. So it was like white people, Arabs, just like anything but Iranians. So when this happened, I was like, what the fuck? Am I doing? I keep on creating these products for people who aren't even buying them and don't give a fuck. It's just insane to me. It just made me open my eyes. And I sat down with myself and I said, Sa'ai, Iranians just aren't going to support your business. They don't give a fuck about organic cotton. They'd rather go in by a polyester t-shirt from Zara for $40 or a again polyester t-shirt from Gucci with a label on it for $800. But they will not pay $60 for an organic cotton ethically made t-shirt that has a really unique design on it from you. And so I've pivoted. I've pivoted with chalads. I've pivoted with my own social media. I archived every single piece of content on my social media that was in Farsi. I'm over it. My bio used to be your unfiltered Persian bestie. Now it's just your unfiltered bestie. Or I think it's your unfiltered ethnic bestie. Because I'm so over it. I don't know. Maybe I'm just like negative right now because I got so much hate. But there was just so much-- I don't know. This whole situation with Iran really opened my eyes to a lot of things. I was not that I was blind to before, but I was positive. I chose to look at the positives. I was like, it's OK. So it's fine that Iranians aren't supporting chalads. Your art is still cool. Your products are still cool. The people who get it get it. It's fine if you don't make that much money off of it. Now I'm like, what the fuck? Who doesn't want to make money, especially in this economy, you guys? I'd listen. Listen. All right. But it's just facts. Why do you think people like Sevdileza doesn't like cater to Iranians because there's no benefit? Why do you think truly, like truly any truly successful artist or business woman? Like, you know the girl who owns Cult Gaia? They never fully cater to Iranians. It's like every now and then they'll have a little touch of it. Like, Sevdileza had like toneback as beats in one of her new songs on her album. Or having the Cult Gaia girl, she called her collection Sheerzant. But that's the extent of it. And it's because of this exact reason. And again, I know I may sound really negative right now, but it's just how I feel, OK? And the facts of what I've observed in like the past 35 years of my life. I don't know. Anyways, I don't know. I've just been living in such a cute little bubble in the past while. I just-- I hate that this podcast is a little venty and negative. But I don't know. Again, I feel like I can just sit here and talk to you guys about how I feel and most of you won't judge me for it because maybe you get it. The podcast is going to change, too. Again, I'm setting up our den to make it into a studio. It's going to have like an actual video version of it. I just want to revamp everything. I'm super inspired. And I almost feel like a Phoenix, like risen from the ashes. And I have a complete new direction I want to go in. And yeah, like, I want to record them on video. I want to record them every week. I want it to be more of a catch up with you guys and the same vibe as if, again, me and you are having a video call. And we're chatting about what the fuck is happening in the world and anything else. And yeah, that's the vibe. It's the vibe I'm hoping to emulate. I just have to set up the fuck ass bin. Send me furniture recommendations. But yeah, that is all for this episode. I missed you guys. Yeah, this was very therapeutic. And I hope you don't think that I'm a negative and antsy after so long of not talking to you guys. I came and just like, vented as a fuck. But it is what it is. I needed this therapy. And I love you guys. And I will see you in the next episode. Don't know when that's going to be, because I do need to set up the den. I might do a couple of audio podcasts just until it gets set up, because there's no way I'm setting it up in the next week. But yeah, DM me on Instagram. Let me know what you guys think. And let's chat, because you guys know I love talking to you. Even if we have opposing opinions, I still love you. Anyways, OK, bye. [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING]

Summary:
FAQs
Yes, they moved into a loft with brick walls, high ceilings, and large windows, which was their shared dream.
Sad took Blondie to HomeSense for the first time, where he was amazed by the low prices and kept asking about the budget, finding it funny.
The date was one-sided with Sad asking all the questions; the doctor showed an unsolicited nude photo and later pressured for a kiss, which Sad declined.
Sad feels Feeld is getting mainstream with straight people who lack proper profiles and use it just for hookups, ruining the app's original niche community.
Her bio states she's Persian, ethically non-monogamous, partnered, kinky, a switch, and seeks like-minded humans for connection, with hygiene and safer sex as non-negotiables.
Sad is frustrated because many big Iranian influencers, like Romina, didn't post about the protests early on, showing a lack of urgency and substance.
