Margaret Qualley & Jack Antonoff Split, Justin Bieber Halftime Show + Emmy Nominations

Still Blue Coffee introduces a new line of ready-to-drink cans, crafted with 100% Colombian coffee and enriched with protein, available in espresso cafe mocha and espresso sweet cream. Each can is marketed not just as a convenient beverage, but as a meaningful act of giving back—every purchase supports a pet adoption, with proceeds funding 1,000 animal rescues nationwide. The brand is named after its rescue dog, Stella, reinforcing its mission to help animals find forever homes. Listeners are encouraged to support the cause by purchasing the cans, which are available at stillbluecoffee.com or through Amazon. The campaign includes a real-time adoption tracker, allowing consumers to see the impact of their purchases. In addition to the coffee initiative, the podcast features light-hearted discussions on travel, family dynamics, and life experiences, such as a humorous story about eating ants from a Taco Bell meal and dealing with pests in New York City. The episode also touches on recent celebrity news, including speculation around the breakup of Jack Antonov and Margaret Qualley, and highlights a major World Cup halftime show featuring Justin Bieber, Coldplay, and other global artists. The conversation ends with a reflective note on the power of storytelling, particularly through music, as seen in a TikTok trend involving a song titled "Dear Drew" linked to Justin Bieber’s past. The tone remains upbeat and community-focused, blending personal anecdotes with social awareness and entertainment.

What is in store for this weekend coming up? What's in store for this weekend coming up guys? Sure for this weekend coming up. Chill vibes, family time. A lot of my in-laws are in town. So we got hopefully beach time if the weather holds up, hoping for the best because we got a lot of kids running around and that's that's kind of it. Yeah, relaxation time sort of get back in the in the groove got some stuff to do at home. So yeah, shaking hands kissing babies. That's kind of the weekend. I actually I'm kissing babies me too. I'm meeting a baby this weekend. So am I. Oh wow. That's why I said that. I got what babies. One of Matt's friends. Oh amazing. Chase baby. I'm finally meeting. Amazing. I'm not meeting any new babies as that I know of, you know, maybe maybe one will just pop up this weekend that I've got aware of. I got a I got a shake hands and kiss a lot of babies and make sure my nephew's still like me. That's what I think. I honestly haven't seen my family in a while. Like I actually think about it. It's been a little bit. Yeah. Because they they had like this virus that lasted for like too long and then and then you're traveling and I haven't seen them in a little bit. My in-laws are in town as well. So just a lot of family stuff. Yeah, seeing some friends along Island, you know, making sure I make my way. You're making your rounds. You make my rounds. Making your rounds a read. Reminding everybody what you look like. Reminding what I look like. You know, I'm really hoping. Like my nephew has this new thing apparently where he just like loves his other aunts and uncles. Actually, is this the ploy to get you to like come home now? No, no, I've seen it on video. And I will say though Matt went to go see my nephew Luca when we were in London. And Luca was ecstatic because he's obsessed with him. But like now I'm right now. It's like you're second fiddle. Right. So like what I got on FaceTime the other day. Show me Matt. Yes, where's Uncle Matt? Yeah, like they're like look, it's Henry. And he was like, where's Uncle Matt? And I was like, oh, shit. Okay, we can't let this. No, it's not flying. Like we can't forget about Henry. No, no, come on. So got to remind him that I'm here. And he's like swimming a lot. So that'll be exciting. I ask you how the pool at the pool. I don't know. I don't think it's ready. I don't think the pool is ready. Okay. I just know we brought it up on the podcast. No, I don't know. I don't know if it's eating away. Our listeners like it's been eating it. I couldn't give an accurate answer to this pool until I go home. Okay, I'm hoping for an update on Monday. No, because it's like it's an ongoing joke. Yeah. Now that every time I got a FaceTime for my parents. Me and Matt look at each other and go, do we think they're going to bring up the pool and they bring up the pool every time. It's like like without a doubt. Yeah, we have conversations out. It feels like a fake conversation because they're just getting ready to gear up to talk about the damn pool. Now I did ask when we last talked, I was like, when I'm home, will the pool be ready to swim in? I don't think so. I think that they, if I'm being honest, I think that they decide to do this pool thing at the wrong time. I don't think this pool is going to be like swimmable. Right. Right. Until August. Right. You're like, it's middle of the summer. In the middle of summer, they don't have you know what I mean? Like, yeah, they had an above ground pool going. They couldn't just kept it at that. They wanted to get fancy and do a little semi semi, whatever it's called. And now it's been a disaster, right? You're right in that, you know, July is probably not the time to. Well, they should have started this. Exactly. It's like they started a spring thing or a fall. Yeah, like this is, this was a wrong time to do this. You do this in the shoulder. And now all we got to do is hear about about this damn pool. So yeah, and it's also like me living in Jersey. And I'm sure other people can relate to this. Like if you have family, like East Coast, where it's like Jersey or New York, and it's like, it's not far. Like I don't live far in New Jersey. I live in Jersey City. I'm always just like, is anybody going to come visit me? Right. Right. You know what I mean? Yeah. Like I understand everyone's over there. So I always go too long. I don't. Yeah. But it would be nice if somebody would have visit me in Jersey at some point. That is so fair. And it is a long standing for those that have grew up in this area. You will understand, especially if you were someone that is from New Jersey and married someone from New York or is from New York, married someone from New Jersey. The way families act, like if you are going to move from one to the other, they think you're moving across the country. Like it is my, I have my friends deal with it where it's like you have to, you have to gear up to tell your family. Like my family, it wasn't a big deal because my parents moved. Whatever. But let's say they stayed in New Jersey. It would have been a big deal if I was like, hey, so I think I'm probably going to live on Long Island. And they like, they'd be like, right. What? It's so far. You're going to move to like, and it's the same with some of Joe's friends have to do is do. It's like they live on Long Island. But then they marry someone from that's from New Jersey. And they're like, I think we're going to live in New Jersey. And the moms are like, New Jersey. Well, I think it's because Matt and I are both from Long Island. And we decide to live in Jersey. Yeah. That they're like, wait. Yeah. Yeah. Nobody. We don't have any family that lives in New Jersey. Yeah. I just love New Jersey. And you know, I don't, I don't see myself leave it. Like I really love it. So now it's this thing where it's like, I'll go home at a pinch. If they say tonight, we need you to come home. I'm there. Like I'm getting in the car. I'm there. It's no big deal to me. I'll sit in the car forever along. It's nothing. Then it's like, oh my god, we got to come to New Jersey. So now my birthday's in a couple of weeks. Well, your parents, your dad's worried about traffic. Like all the time about traffic for your wedding. My dad was so worried. I'm going to possibly be worrying about traffic to Jersey. The day after my wedding, my parents left so early in the morning, they didn't do the next day brunch because they said, we got to be traffic on the way. Like that like traffic dictates their life. I'm like, I mean, I'm Brooklyn, I'm married in Brooklyn. They said, we got to get home and beat the traffic. We can't come to the next day brunch. That it dictates your life. And by the way, it's only helpful. The traffic thing is only helpful for when I go home. And I like want to leave a family party. Yeah, right. You're like, guys, I got my dad's like, oh, no, I get it. You got it. You got to be the traffic. I'll check the GPS and be like, it's saying this right now. But it's like, get on the road. Get on the road and beat that traffic. There's you got to leave five minutes ago. What's the only thing he thinks about, I think, is traffic and this pool? It's like those two things. So my birthday's in a couple of weeks. And honestly, I haven't been like with my family on my birthday in years. I feel like I'm always doing something in this year. I don't have any plans really. So my parents are like, oh, well, why don't we do a little like cake? Like we used to, you know, and I said, and I said to Matt, I said, you think you can get my family to come to Jersey? Like, why do I got to go home right? Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Can they, you want to have your cake to Jersey? It can, can I have it at my home? Yeah. Yeah. So that's like a new thing that we're trying to like get going. Like, let's start giving them enough time. So the idea, yeah, a couple of weeks in advance to know maybe this weekend that maybe we can travel to New Jersey from Rio's birthday. So yeah, I'm turning 29 the last year, before 30. Yeah. No big plans. But it feels like a quiet, well, no, because either way, you can either look at it like, oh my god, it's my last one of my 20s or you could look at it. like, "Oh, next year's the big Shabbat." And you're turning 30. - I'm just like, "Damn, ready to just chill "and just see what happens that weekend?" And, you know, that's it. Like I'm not planning anything spectacular. We're traveling to Dancing with the Starscon right after that. So we're gonna be a Palm Springs for a week with Dancing with the Starscon. That's a lot of fun. So looking forward to that. And maybe my family will venture to New Jersey. - I hope so. - I have a nice little cake. That would be nice. - That would be nice. - We could do it. - Yeah, I'm, I'm have faith in them that they can, they can do it. But Goddamn, that traffic. 'Cause then you gotta hit them with the right time. Well, what time do we leave then? - Yeah. - What time do we do? It's just all about fucking. - Cake might have to be really early. - Or really late. Like, it just depends on Goddamn traffic. - Yeah, you're really late. Can I just say that I know we've been talking about a lot and I just wanna reiterate because I have caught up. And Love Island UK is so fucking good that it's not even like US is an afterthought. I don't even care about US. I don't care about the finale. I don't care who wins. Voting, and I voted, which sounds bad because I just said I don't care and I voted. But I voted and they changed it this year of like, you had to vote for four. They made a trick, you had to vote for four couples. But then there was like, a lot in the fine print. - The fine print. I didn't know when I voted. - Well, they told everyone to. - They told everyone to. - Is that the order that you hit it in? Is the order of like, how you're winking it. But no, but it doesn't say that we should read the fine print. - Well, they did warn everyone multiple times, like to read the fine print. So that's on us. - Well, why not just write that out? - I don't know. I don't know why they didn't do it. The whole vote's gonna be a mess. I will say there were two couples that I. And here's where they got you. You had to vote for four. It wasn't like you could vote for two and then just submit and be like, I want these two couples in the finale. I don't care about the other ones. Or else your vote didn't count. So I'm at the end. I'm like, you're. You gotta make me pick one of these couples to send them to the finale. Like, I don't want any of them in the finale. - I need to confess that, like, I've been so out of this season. - Yeah. - And I have watched, like, last during movie night and everything I watched. And now I've fallen off again. - Pick up the key episodes. Well, this is also where we get to the end where they. It's just, you know, they act like they're all in love. - Yeah, I'd plan on Sunday to spend majority of my day watching Love Island UK. - You got, you have to get back to the UK. - Because Sunday I have a free, free day. - Yeah. - No babies, no shaking hands, no kisses. - No traffic. And I'm planning to just sit my ass down, even if it's 85 and sunny, 'cause I believe it will be. - Yeah. - And just watch Love Island UK. - Oh, damn. - Day. - I wanna come in on Monday, talking with a British accent. - Yeah. And I hope so, because I really rushed through this all. I watched a bunch on the plane home. And then I've been locked in through Kasa. They, I believe the movie night episode is now on Hulu, but it wasn't when I had finished. So I went back to my, my VPN. So I get movie nights. I always, you know, you gotta lock into movie night. And just a very interesting Kasa. The way some of these, both US and UK had some boys that were moving mad, moving real mad. But it's just so much better. - And this season is so good. And I'm so curious. - I'm gonna do my finest duty. - Yeah. - To be, oh what? Because I said finest duty. Is that making you laugh? - He did get all of that. - All my duties are finest. Let me tell you, okay? What, you don't like that? Not as much. - I can take it, I can take it. I can take one, like when you, the first joke. - Yeah. - But you didn't even do that on purpose. - No, I didn't do it on purpose. I was just, that's why it was funny. - But all my poops are cute. Impossible. - They are. - Impossible. - I promise. - Quite literally, I promise you. - I promise you. - No. - I don't believe it. - Even the big ones. - Even the big ones. - You promise me as much as you want. - They're just like really, okay. - Okay. - I'll just say, I have a great digestive system going. - And I'm happy for you. - Even at its, I'm trying to look at an appropriate word. They're still cute. - You know? - Sure. (laughs) - Sure. - Listen, let me have that. I'll let you have it. - Let me have that. - I'll let you have it, I'll let you have it. - What, bro? - That's gonna make me nauseous. I'm not even kidding. - Have you ever farted in front of a girl? - No. I mean like, like, no, not to the point where they would know. - Like it's not, it's acknowledged. - I would have went my entire life. But then the first time it happened, it was so freeing that I was like, oh my god. Wow, like this is really amazing. Like, it's me. - It's just her Mary. - Well, no, but it was before we were married. Honestly, we just started dating. I've told this story before. I was gambling on my phone. I hit Blackjack. I threw my legs up in the air. A fart came out. I was so embarrassed. I was jumped off the balcony. And then after that, that was like the very beginning of a stating. That I was like, I see you knew he was someone. - I was like testing, yeah, I was like testing the water. It's kind of like, all right, I'll let one out here. I'll let one out there. And there's actually no better feeling. That's how you know you're so comfortable with somebody. Now here's the thing. I'm not too, but like it happens. I've never farted in front of you guys, which is odd. I find to be. 'Cause I don't think that's true. Maybe in front of you. - I'm for sure. - Well, actually, definitely last week of London. - Yeah, and also like we were, we've gone on stage multiple times. You whispered in my ear, like I can't stop farting. (laughing) Like multiple times. Multiple times. - That happens before every show. - You're so right. - You're so right. (laughing) - We'll be like. - But this is not her human. - We'll be walking. It's not my human. - No, it's not. - We'll be walking up the stairs. - This is just like getting ready for the show. And she's being honest. She's just like, oh my, I can't stop farting. - I get like the nervous fart. - Yeah, she gets. - She's just excited. - This is not my humor at all. - This is just my story. - My story. - Not to tie it all back to the violin, but I actually do wonder how they all have to share all these bathrooms. - Taylor talked about it, you know. - Taylor talked about it and told him to hold him fart. - Yeah, I just find it terrible. - I just find it shocking that I've never accidentally farted in front of Noah. Just like the-- - Are you sure? I mean, like it's been so long. - I know, but just like the amount, it's been literally almost 10 years now. We're together all the time. Like I've never farted in front of you. - What are you sure about that? - Yeah, I'm sure about it. - Yeah, I guess I would remember it. - What have you, what have been discussed? - It would have been discussed. - Never a silent. - It probably would have been discussed often if it didn't happen. - Listen, and it hasn't, it hasn't. - Almost sounded at the Jersey Shore that a couple weeks ago, remember? - Oh my God. - You know what, we're all going away next weekend. Maybe next week it'll be the lucky weekend. (laughing) Here's the thing, actually. We're all going away together next weekend and then shortly after that, we're away together again, yeah, yeah. - And true. - I said, yeah, I said, we're living in a house. We're going to be under the same roof for like eight days this month. - Yeah. - Between next weekend and Palm Springs. - Shit, when you put it that way. - That's a lot of time. - We'll be far and all over the place. Sorry. - I apologize. It's Friday, we're feeling goofy and funny and free and just. - Isn't that the Whiskey for song? - Feeling goofy and funny and free. - Yeah, it's fun. - Yeah, I'm not saying we're funny. - Oh, sorry, it's young one. (laughing) - Young, funny and free. - That's what I like fun. - Funny, young and free. - A 29, young, funny and free. - Mm-hmm, that's me. - All right, well, watch the live, you get this weekend. - I feel so sorry for that whole. - 10 minutes. - It's okay. - All right. (laughing) - We can move on. - We can. - Can we? - We can. - All right. - We'll put it in front of us. - I just. - See, this is why in the description, a lot of the time I just write intro for the first part, because what would I write? - You're right. - Like poop, discussion, farting in front of others. - Yeah. - Farting in front of friends. In that fart protocol, it's a relatable discussion. People do, and you know what? People always wonder. - I remember. They do always wonder. - Let me just say, are we gonna bring it back to farting now? - Well, I have two stories that I'm ready to come clean about. - We were so close to moving. - We were very close. - Hey guys, we're gonna take a quick break, and we will be right back. - Hey Alabama, still blue coffees. I'm gonna bring up something, okay, from this past week, 'cause we're just feeling goofy right now, and funny, and it's a Friday night. episode and what not. And this is not about effing farting farting. I prefer you say farting than effing. This is not about that. So but it is sort of about that. Okay because it brings up the chain restaurant that I'm going to bring up. Oh shit you're telling the story. I'm telling the story. Because it leads back to a farting story. So I've had a tough beginning of the week and I've kept it from the listeners and it's actually taking a lot out of me to like to help a story right. I'm also laughing because they're going to hear this story and be like that's what you were keeping from us. Yeah. Well I'll explain why I've kept it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So Sunday night we land home late, probably around 11 p.m. And after every time I come home off a plane, go trip, the go-to is talk about. It's like we're getting talk about. And by the way this is not a poop story because I know people here talk about. I'm like it's going to lie. Right. Right. And it's would be the segue we would make here. Right. That's what we're just talking. Yeah. So am I going to regret telling this now? No. I really don't think it's that bad. Like I know it's scarred me. It's scarred you. But I'm saying the grand scheme of things like I don't think like it's a it's a story that has nothing right to it says it says nothing about you. Yes. I know it's that's my fear though. So we got talk about and we opened it up. We put on the dining room table. Read in the talk about. It is magnificent. Yep. It's hits hit in the spot. Matt looks at me at one point. He's like is it me or is this talk about tasting better than ever? And I'm like oh my god it's tasting fantastic. I look at the dining room table and I see an ant. And now if you know me you would know that I keep my apartment pretty pristine. Especially before leaving traveling I make sure that shit is pristine because I don't like coming home to a messy place. I like coming home to a fresh clean place. And something I really don't fuck with is bugs in the home. And that's just comes from a mom who was very, very, very like every time we came home from somewhere when we were a kid we had to leave our bags in the garage. My mom had to inspect them and spray them down like they like it was this was a serious thing. So no bugs. Yeah. I'm not afraid of bugs. It just grosses me out if they're in a home. So I see an ant on the table and in my head there's never just one ant. No, no, no. So I kill the ant and I feel the panic start to set it. I go Matt, why is there an ant on the dining room table? For I can get behind maybe you know it's been muggy. It's been rainy. We're surrounded by windows. You haven't been home. Why is there an ant on the dining room table? And it wasn't on the table when we first sat down. I didn't see any ants. There's nothing on the table to have ants, but you know he's like don't don't worry. It's just it's been buggy and muggy. Pick up the Taco Bell Macons. Five ants come crawling out of the Taco Bell Macons. And immediate stand up, squash everything, throw everything away, freaking out. Matt's sitting there like he's still thinking about eating the food. And I'm like you're insane. You're going to you're thinking about eating the food still. We're eating ants. The reason I don't think I don't think I've already been eating it. We've already been eating it. The reason the Taco Bell tastes so good right now is because we got extra protein because we're eating ants. Honey, that's what's happening. We probably got five ants each and our mouth right now. We're the so they all came out of the napkin, but the Navagas were in the bag. The napkins were in the bag in the food and the food had like the little stickronic tape shut. Right. And this just sent me into an absolute. Oh, the food was wrapped. All the food was wrapped. But yeah, answer. They got into the little crack grubbuses in the napkins. No, no, I know. I know. I'm pretty sure I probably ate a couple ants. Yeah. They were all in the napkins. I freaked the fuck out. Obviously was spiraling all night long about us eating ants and then bringing ants into our home. I'm like, oh, well, now we just live amongst the bugs. And that's that. So that was really detrimental to me as somebody who fucking loves talk about. Yeah. I'm now having this war in my brain of does my talk. There's my local talk about events. You know, well, I don't want to be the bearer about news. But I'd assume almost every fast food place has has ants somewhere. You know, I just always live my life like like not thinking about that. You've walked. Like, I know we normally get our stuff delivered. Like you walk into a place. You look around. You think there's probably answer. Yeah. Yeah. You just never advance in the back room. Right. It's never like walk into a bathroom. There are those aren't clean. Right. But it's just never in your no, no, no, in the bag of food is not ideal. No, no, no, no, no. I didn't click. I want an extra side of ants. No, no, no, no, no. So no. Yeah. That a none of it sat right with me. And none of it gross. The way Matt acted about it with the two nonchalant. I was like, why are you acting so nonchalant about the ants? He was like, well, because it's it's very like rainy. Yeah. And I sense and it's ants. Like they're by far the least like disturbing. Yeah, I just was like the way that you're acting so nonchalant about the ants and all this. Like, I got to go to bed. I got to go to bed now. Because then he was like, should we order more food? I said absolutely not. Absolutely not. We're not ordering more food. I'm not eating for the rest of the week. Probably. I'm never going to let anything come into this apartment. Yeah. Well, guess what? We're starving the rest of the week, honey. After these ants will be filled up. So that's how my week started. And it really, I didn't even tell you guys for a couple days. Like, that's how bad it's that with me. Because I'm an open book. I tell everybody everything at every single point of my life, which is like, honestly, have you ever had to deal with the cockroach? In my apartment in New York City years ago, yeah, West Village one. No, when I lived in Battery Park City. Yeah, I had one this morning. What? Yeah, in your home. Oh, my God. That's so much worse than her story. Yeah, right. I just I just told the story. You have a cockroach. Well, my problem is is that I have this is maybe the second time. It's just like the same space now. It's like everyone come forward with your bug stories. Well, also like New York City apartments and we were we've been in a what we've been away. We haven't been in our apartment for for weeks. And that's always when something happens. Because I feel like we haven't we haven't flushed our toilet in a while. All these things they come out of everywhere. I think they come out of the sink. That's how mine happened. Come out of this. It's like, you know, I'm getting the shivers. No, no, I went home when I saw it. No, when those things, you're going to die when you hear what happened with my mind. No. So I go into I go to take my laundry out of my out of the dryer. And that's sometimes where they they come out of because they're I think the whole under the yeah, washing machine. Yeah, I think they come up that pipe. The washing machine pipe. And I'm like, yeah, I you know, I freak out. I run out of the room. I buy myself. Yeah, close the door. I'm like, shit, I build up the courage. I'm like, I'm strong. I'm beautiful. I'm I'm a woman. I'm independent. I can get this cockroach. I got to like look myself in the mirror. Grab one of Joe shoes. Go back in the bathroom. I see it. Try and smack it. That fucking thing is fast. Runs past me. When you're like aren't you afraid that's going to be like juicy when you like No, that's no, I'm not my biggest fear. I don't want to get splashed by it. I'm not because I just want to kill I just want to kill the thing. I just want like any by any means necessary. I had kept the bathroom door closed because I was like, I'm keeping this, I'm keeping it locked in here. Runs right under the bathroom door. I it went under is it just in there now? That's what's kissing me. No wonder you're describing this story means that you didn't get it. What under the fridge under like, you know, a little open crack something under the fridge? It's it's gone. I don't. It's not gone or it's it's it's making its residents in my house. Let me tell you something. I commend you because I'm removing my fridge and I am having every person coming and check my apartment out bottom to get the cockroach out of. So I commend you for being able to just be like, say, lovey. It's the only way that I can act or else I would lose my mind. Right. No, that's fair because I can't think about the alternative or else I will think that like it's I'm going to like sleep in with my mouth open and it's going to like come crawl. Right. And that's how I felt about the ants and which is why I've been saying like, I'm one amongst you. I haven't seen any, but I've just been saying my mind. I'm trying to tell myself that I know compared to this. I can't believe it compared to any bug. I know compare. I feel like I know why that's why I said when she had ants. I was like answer the least least thing out of what I'm worried about. You know, I got I'm like ants. I'm like, I'm a fucking loser for that story. You got a big cockroach look. I think if you lived in your city. You know, stink bugs. Yeah. Oh my god. You know what we He's having my house scrumming up for those cave crickets. Do you guys have those? - Oh, that was a pro! That's starting to come in a thing. - The KF is all mine. - Those things jumped. - Oh my God, I remember that. - They did. - They did it in my basement. - Oh yeah, the basement. - It would jump, we all scream. - I remember that. - Oh my God. - I actually think I'm more afraid of those in a cockroach. - Yeah. - But I don't, living in New York for as long as I have, you deal with cockroaches. Like it's just a way of life, those bad boys. - Are you like trying to experience it? - What, you know what, there's nothing for me to do. Like I, let me, I like, I pull, I went under, I'm no joke, I looked under the, - It's like I have a, I have a dog. - You're home in my home. - I've got a fridge, I've got a fridge, and I got a, the freezer is like a pull out freezer underneath. It went under there. I mean, there's like, there's just no, like I was slapping the shoe all over the place. - Oh my God. - I can't think of a way to come back out, it's, - Listen. - I would, I would, you are brave. - And in my mind, I'm just gonna tell myself that it's moved on to the next apartment. Like it's crawled back in the wall, and it's starting to happen where it is. - It's starting to happen. - I prefer to have a mice infestation 100 times out of 100 over cockroaches. - Oh, yes, yes. - Are you nuts? - Are you fucking mice? - Mice are like, I can't take a shoe and I'll take a mouse. - I'll take a mouse. - I'll take a mouse. - Maybe that's why I'm more comfortable. - You know what? - I stand by that. - They're, they're not as greedy as cockroaches. - They're not as greedy as cockroaches. - Or just literally used to be like, to equate like. - No, no, no, no, no. - Mice are, you know what I'm saying? Like, this is good, like, but like, you can, you can, you can kill a cockroach. - You can kill a cockroach. - You can't, you can't kill a mice. - I killed mice with my bare hands. - Dude, what? - What? - I mean, my bare hands. - You were serious? (laughs) - No, now what am I doing? - Are you putting the mice in the microwave? - I, no. - Let me tell you something. - You killed a hockey stick. - You killed a mouse with a hockey stick? - Yes. - We might have to cut this out. - No, you're like this. - I had to, there were about 10 running around in my bedroom at night. - I actually won't like, you know what? - This got, this, I feel better now. I actually feel better. - Yeah, wait, come on. - That one, that one got worse. You fell open to share about the ads. I said I had a cockroach. No one says he's coming mice with his bare hands. So really, he wins. - Okay, you win. - You win, you win. - You know what the worst? - Okay, enough, you won. - You know what the worst thing is? - You win, bro. - I had to put the sticky traps all over. And then what happens is you wake up and you hear squealing. - Oh, stop it. - I hate this. - I hate this. - I hate this. - I hate this and you're gonna piss people off by saying this. So I don't like, like just just wrap up. - What do you want me to do? - No, because there's like, - That's the only way to get rid of them. - There's like more humane ways to get rid of mice. - How? - There are, there are. - We, like, move along. - Yeah, and by the way, you're not cutting this because. - I hate you have no shame in any of the things I've said. You come into my room, it's gonna happen. You know what happened one time? In the- - Nobody step where you going with this. - No, no, this is crazy. - I have shivers. - Wait, can we just all take a deep breath? - I thought my cockroach was bad. - Listen. - No. - But you'll see this, my roommates would see me or hear me in the middle of the night, like hating like, like running around the apartment. - No, no, stop. - No, no, stop. - I'm actually, I'm actually telling you, to shut the fuck up. - No, no, there's one other thing it's not gross. - Shut it. - You are dirty, man. - In the West Village apartment that Ria also lives in that building, one time I woke up and I had a window AC unit and I literally was like, this close to this wall, like just opened my eyes and a mouse had crawled up the cord from the outlet and was just staring at me, like eye level. - And what'd you do, smack it in the face? - I- - You know what you bite it's head off. - No, no, no, I just wanna like, in a ran away or whatever. - Put 'em up. (laughing) - But with all that said, I would still prefer to have a mouse in a cockroach. - Well, because you know how to fight 'em. - Well, you have a cockroach. - You have a big, you have a cockroach. - He's one with the mice. - I've seen, I saw one cockroach. I shut my mouth. - He's one of the mice. - I shut my bathroom door, went to Grand Central, went to Westchester. - I- - Let me just say. - Flood. - By the way, I was afraid to tell my aunt a story because when I brought this up to Matt, I was like, should I tell the aunt's story in the podcast? He was like, I think it's a funny story, but knowing you, you're gonna like tell this story and then you're gonna think that people think you're dirty because of the ants. And then I was like, well, no, the ants came in the fast food. Like, I was able to justify. We went from ants to cockroaches to you just live amongst mice. - No, no, not in wood. I have never seen a mouse in my current apartment. - Well, they know not to fucking mess with you, huh? - Or like, now I feel like I'm jinxing you. - You had them would tell your friends. - Yeah, yeah. - Also. - Don't come back with no one to tell your friends. - They'll kill you without his dick. - And I have no shame because I know that for those of us who live in New York City and who have lived in New York City before, people deal with cockroaches. - They do, that is a thing, you know? - You know what we did one time? We were so desperate that we were in a living room, me and my roommate, and the couch was our other roommates, but he was gone for the weekend. And we saw a mouse run under that. We moved the couch and we couldn't see it. So we thought maybe it went in. We cut a hole into the back of the couch to see if it was in there. And we never, I don't know where we went. - My friends in their first New York City apartment was so funny because one of them was like, it would not have flown that there was a mouse, but two of the other girls, there's three girls. Two girls saw a mouse in the apartment. And it just like scarting across their living room for one night and they were like, fuck, is that what I think it is? And it went under the oven, never to be seen again. And it was like the funniest thing ever when the third roommate finally found out, like they didn't tell her. And then it came out that there was a mouse at some point and she was like, there was a fucking mouse and my two other friends were like, he was just passing through. That would be me. - Because we never saw him again. - Yeah, he was, he was just passing through and then it was going, that would be my reaction. You guys in fucking. - No, no, yeah, she was in the house in here. - I think if I ever saw a rat, I think I'd actually never move back to the city. - No, a rat in your apartment. - In your apartment? - Is that a thing people have to do with rats in their apartment? - Apparently my brother lives on the first floors and gets like an outdoor area. So if he left his door, and I think that-- - Yeah, no, that's fair, that's fair. - I mean, people have definitely had rats in their apartment. - No, that's fair, I, I, yeah. - But rats are like, you think a mouse is cute compared to a rat. It is. - Um, I think we have to take a deep breath. - No, we do, we have to take a deep breath after all this. - We could just like, we, we lost the pot there for a second. - I don't wanna bring anything up, but. - People have mouse's pets. And rats. - Wait, what, actually? - My, say, of mice, rats. - Yeah, rats. - No. - One of my good friends. - One of my good friends growing up, she had rats as pets. They were named Aurel and Pepper. They were actually pretty cute. - What? - Yeah. - For what reason? - They were pets, I don't know. - Well, they were pets, they would come out. They, they, they sit right on her little shoulder, like, right, I told you. It's where to go. - Even more. - Right. - Or I would sit right on her shoulder. I'm with her, I'm worried about the reaction to Nell killing. - I told him, I said, stop talking. - He said, he wants the fed pet snakes. - He says he wants to leave it. So we just, you know, - We'll just let him deal with that. - I, I disapprove of everything he said. I would just like that to be honest. - Yeah, I don't think that's how I would go about it. - So you don't think it's normal to like, if you see mice running around, try to hit them with a hockey stick. - That is not normal, no, no, that is not normal. - What would I do to just watch, hey, see you. - No, no, you got to set traps. - I did set it up, but apparently that's not human either. - No, I, I'm, when I told you, we should stop talking about our events. - We got to take a deep breath. - We got to take a deep breath and recollect ourselves after this. Because I don't even know how we're gonna talk about Jack and I throw it off in one of the quality. - I don't. - I don't. - You know what? - And now my talk about their starting story is useless. - You can't, should I go back to that? Should I go back to the, should I go back to the farting story I'm gonna tell? 'Cause now it feels absolutely useless. - You know what, you know what, farting? - In front of Matt's friends are the first time we were all getting talkabelle. I'm gonna, this is here. I'm getting you away from the mice story. We got to talkabelle. It was two o'clock in the morning. We all went out. I farted so loud. No one said anything. I still don't know to this day if they know. I think I talked about this before. - Yeah, I think you have. - And we're all best friends now. This is when we first started dating. And like, oh my God, two in the morning. That slip, yeah. And, yeah. - You're welcome. We're just talking. - I just wanna put on record final thought. I was not happy to kill these mice. Like I did feel bad, but it's just like it had to be done. - Okay, that's it, that's it. - Sure. - All right, shall we move on? - Yep. - Anybody else got any rodent pests? - Or pests stories? - They wanna get off their chest today? - Not at the moment. - Maddie Sauer, you guys got any pest control stories? - Now you guys are good? - No, not at the moment. - Yeah. - All right. Ready? - Maybe Mark Kuala and Jack Entenoff had cockroaches. - Maybe, I don't know. We'll move on. Let's get into it. Let's get into the topic, everybody. Everybody take a deep breath and we'll sort of add here. And let's-- - Yeah, yeah. - And know a place, add here. All right, now back to the show. All right, let's get into today's topics. How about it? Let's do it. Let's just move right along. Long topic. So there was some big news yesterday that hit social media, Jack Antonov and Margaret Qualley. They announced their, they didn't announce. Let me restart. I am so. We're rattles. I'm rattles. We're rattles. We're rattles. I'm sorry. I think we might have to end the whole show up in between that and the podcast over. Yeah. Let me, let me take it from the top. They didn't announce anything. No, speculation. Speculation and other sources were saying that Jack Antonov and Margaret Qualley had split up. Yes. Now, on Margaret's Instagram, she had archived all the pictures with Jack. And she also was not a Taylor Swift sweating. So people were like, this is very confusing. I have a question. Yes. How did people know it was archived? They're not deleted because she reput them up. Oh, okay. Gotcha. I was going to get there. So she archived them and people know that because now she, after all the news outlets are reporting that they split up, she reput some of them up. Yes. Okay. So she wasn't at Taylor Swift's wedding and that started a little bit of a buzz. People had seen her out and about it. Didn't her on Friday. They're like, this is strange. She's out to dinner. Taylor's wedding. And then she went to the fan's and off. Very close collaborator in front of Taylor Swift. So the news outlets started reporting that they split up. Page six reported that Jack and off was overheard at Taylor's wedding telling people that him and Margaret had a had a tip and they didn't want to pretend and just like show face and pretend at Taylor's wedding. So Margaret stayed back and that they have been going through some troubles. Clearly. So that was overheard at the wedding. Has to be a pretty big tip. Now we skip this one. Just skip a wedding. You got to get into a big tip. It's got to be a massive tip. And a big tip meaning you're splitting off. Yeah. Yeah. Like no normal fight is making you skip someone's one. No. And a normal fight. You're like, let's put this on pause for the night because Taylor's. We'll talk about this getting married and we'll have fun tonight and we'll bring you this back up tomorrow. Yeah. We'll talk about this tomorrow when we get home. Yeah. Now, Margaret and Drew Starkey are filming a movie together. Yeah. People have been seeing them out and about together. But they are filming a movie together. Yeah. Also online, people have been speculating that Drew and Odessa, as I on, have quietly split up. Oh, shit. Now, who knows? Because they never really confirm or die their relationship. Like, people that assume they've been in a relationship for years, I assume they were. They were seen at the Mechalla, like after party together and some other like Oscar-Vanity fair parties, all that. But apparently, the rumor is that they quietly split up and now Margaret and Drew have been seen together a bunch while they're filming this movie. They are filming a movie. That could be part of the tiff. It could be. They are filming a movie together. Yeah. So, they're probably going to be hanging out, but now everyone's like, they're just doing that thing, you know, where they're like, "Oh, it's something happening." Right. Right. These two. That I saw, I saw all the pictures of them. Maybe I didn't look like, perhaps a baseball game? Yeah. They also worried a pool together. Yeah. Yeah. And anytime two people are spotting a pool together alone, people are like, "Oh, that's intimate. They're in a pool together." It's also like, you could be swimming. I think it does say something when you hang out with people outside of work, in that sense. Yeah, they are making a movie together, but they're working and these, they're hanging out all in half hours. Right. But it's like if they're away filming somewhere, you know, what are you going to do on your off time, probably hang out with your co-stars, right? If you're away filming? Yeah. I was shocked when I saw that it was like three years since they had gotten married. And I thought, wow, time really flies. It felt like I could have thought that was last year when LBI lost their ship because Taylor Swift went to the wedding. And I saw, well, they made it three years, huh? That was it. I had to be completely honest. This is one of those relationships where I never saw going the distance. Is that fair? I don't know why. I just, that's fair. I get weird vibes. I've always gotten weird vibes from him in general, but that's, and on the heels of Lena Dunham's book coming out and like stories about him in there and the potential, um, people think it was Lord, right? Lord? Yeah. It's just like, you know, there's a lot about that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right. Where he seems maybe he got too close with another pop star that he said, yeah, you know, that's what I don't know. And I always surprised that they had really gotten, I was surprised by these two from the beginning. To be honest. Yes. It was pretty surprising. They met in 2021, engaged in 2022 and married in 2023, which is fast. She went from dating Pete Davidson, yeah, to being married to Jack Antonov. He's 42. She's 31. Um, they've separated. People go first with the source. I don't know that the pair's relationship is quote, rocky and then a second insider as at the, that they are quote, figuring things out. He's in the midst of a tour. She's in pre-production for the movie, like you just said and none of their reps have said anything. But when you don't show up for the, for the wedding, that's going to cause speculation. So everyone was freaking out about that the last week. And then this is like, of course, this is the story that comes out next. That things are, that things are pretty rocky between the two of them. So right. I, unfortunately, I will say it did seem like one of those things that when she first wasn't seen at the wedding, I was like, Oh, what come on? Let's not speculate right away. And then boom, it was like the next day. It's like, Oh, yeah, well, they're split up. So moving on. This was pretty big news. Justin Bieber will be performing at the World Cup half time show. Now this begs the question, what is this performance going to be like because we can't do the Coachella thing. You know, like we can't bring out a laptop. No, no, no, no, search in old songs and the lead back all that. This would be pretty pretty, pretty, he's also a co-headliner. So how much time do they have? How many performers are there? Like three or four, right? Because I think Shakira is doing it as well. So maybe he just does like two songs or one or one song pops out. You know, maybe kid LaRoy comes out. Yeah. Like one big thing. Does it say Justin Bieber and Madonna Shakira and BTS. Yes. Jesus Christ. Yeah. Big names. And it says, I don't know. This is saying special guest characters from the Muppets and Sesame Street will also make an appearance to advocate for global education. Oh, really doing it all during this half time, yeah. Additional performers. Bernaboy. And then renowned conductor, Gustavo and the PS2-2 chorus accompanied by Coldplay. And there's a lot happening. Where is this? This is for the final. Which is in New. Met life. Yeah, yeah, yeah. New York and size New Jersey stadium. Wow. There's a lot going on there. So he probably only gets a brief moment. Right. And the scheme of things. Oh, Chris Martin. The whole thing is curated by Chris Martin and Coldplay. Oh, okay. Cool. So yeah. Like that's maybe a song. Talk about the biggest Coldplay Madonna Shakira, BTS and Justin Bieber. I mean. Wow. Those are like world renowned. Yeah. And when you're trying to appeal to the global audience, it's the World Cup. It makes a lot of sense. Wait. I have a question for you. It has to do with Justin Bieber and I saw this on TikTok. Hit me. Not like I wonder if this, I wonder if this lore reached you at the time or not, depending on your level of, of Bieber fandom. Does the name Caitlin Beatles? Yeah. That was his first girlfriend. No. I know. Maddie knows. Ding, ding. It was his first girlfriend. Right. So, Caitlin Beatles, like if you were a believer from the beginning, everyone was familiar with her. They were, you know, seemed family friends. He moved to Atlanta. They had met first, first girlfriend, four to 15 didn't, didn't last long, but he stayed very close with the family, her brother. She had a terrible Jetsky, I think either Jetsky boating accident that happened when she was young. He gave her like a shout out maybe during like the VMAs or something like that. And that was always like a big, like I remember when that accident happened, everyone was like, oh my god. Like is she okay? We're following her journey. It was the support, all that. I haven't heard that name in, and she, and apparently she was invited to their wedding. I'm looking now. Yes, she's at the wedding. Yeah. I have not heard that name in 15 years, like so long. Now she popped up on TikTok, actually, Claire sent me her TikTok, because she has a new song coming out. And it's called "Dear Drew." And it's like, it's like, really like a looting to, like a messy relationship. And I got to find, I wish I could play the song, I can't, because you kind of have to hear the lyrics. Like a looting to an old relationship and the promises of like young love and like all the same. Like, I mean, my goodness gracious. - Yeah. - I thought I was getting married in high school, okay? - Yeah. - Like, that's just when you're young kid, like, you just-- - So she wrote, this is the caption. She wrote, "Some stories are too heavy to keep carrying." So I turned mine into a song. My first single, "Dear Drew" comes out August 4th on my birthday. This isn't just the release of a song, it's the closing of a chapter. I wrote this for anyone who's ever ignored their intuition because they wanted to believe the words more than the actions. For anyone who's been someone's almost, someone's option, someone's maybe someday. If you've ever questioned your worth because someone couldn't choose you, I hope this song reminds you that their inability to love you well was never a reflection of your value. This is the beginning of a story I've carried for a long time, and I'm finally ready to tell it. I can't wait for you to hear it. - "Dear Drew," everyone's in the comments like, "Girl, get over 15 years." - I'm sorry. - "Dear Drew?" - Yeah. - Obviously Justin Drew Bieber, they're making that connection, that's the name, but then like other people are like, "Is this other?" No, no, it's clearly about Justin Bieber. "Dear Drew," it's his middle name, his brand is Drew, it's the whole thing. I'm sorry, like we can't behold the comments or sit on to this. - No, no, you can't. - Things from when people, what somebody you were in a relationship when you were 15 said to you. - Someone wrote, someone commented, "My question is, why now?" And then wrote, "No, hey," and she replied, "I took writing lessons and learned "how to turn feelings into lyrics." How many years of lessons should I have to take? - It's been over 15 years. - Yeah. - We gotta put this to bed. - I know. - Everyone in the comments is like, "Oh my God, if you were a believer, "this means everything to you right now." - The thing is, like, I guess if you're thinking about your typical high school boyfriend, like whatever, hers was Justin Bieber. So maybe you're just still holding on to like, "Oh, but he told me this, but only because he's Justin Bieber." You know, like we, and by the way, if this was, like if she were to try and say that this was about someone else, make up a new name. - Yeah, we don't believe you. - And this was about her college boyfriend that's named Drew. Like you know that that's gonna be an issue, so change the song to like, "Dear Dan." - Yeah, "Dear Dan." - "Dear Daniel." - Yeah, "Dear Dan." - "Dear Danny, a little, a fake name, "because you know what you know." And it's on purpose, of course, like. - She's trying. - No one's brought up Caitlyn Beatles' name, and she's trying to capitalize. - In a long-ass time. - She's trying to capitalize. And the irony is not lost on me that her last name is Beatles, and we were talking about a lot of pasts. - That was the first thing I thought. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. But, no, I'm not on board with this, I'm sorry. - I'm not on board with it. - Yeah, and then she also made a video of what "Dear Drew" was really about, where she said a whole lot of nonsense. Like she didn't actually say what it's about. She was like, "If you've ever been a girl that's had these feelings, then you don't relate to this." And I hope people just resonate with the feeling and the lyrics and not like who it's about in my life. - Oh, I know. - Caitlyn, come on. You can't do all this. She's captioning on that one said, "If you've ever ignored. " "If you've ever ignored your intuition, held on to hope a little longer than you should have, or believed someone's words over their actions." The song is for you. - Do you think that "Haley Bieber" sees us? And it's like, "Come." - 100%. - She sends it to the group chat. - Yeah, she's like, "Guys, get a lot of this." - You gotta be like, really? - Right, so I got bigger fish to fry. - Yeah. - Selena, maybe. - That's not bad. - We're still dealing with, you know. - This would have gone crazy on 2010 Twitter. - I really would have. I mean, wow, that is-- - It really would have. - Something. - See, I know. And it's like, no offense to her, I just don't know what, she made the cover picture, like the cover art for the single, is some of the worst, like AI. - You're kind of like eating Caitlyn Beatles up right now. - Yeah, sorry to Caitlyn Beatles. I actually, but it's just like bad AI, you know? - Oh, yeah. - It's bad AI. - Yeah, that's bad. - And because then you see her talking, and you're like, "Oh, it's bad AI." - Yeah. - I just was shocked because when Clairson sent this to me, I clutched my heart, like, I got transported to my teenage self-watching videos, YouTube videos of clips of these two together. Like, I was at that level of believer where I was like, who is this chick? - Right. - And it was like first girlfriend, I was like, you would watch, there was literally compilation videos on YouTube of any, like photos or videos of the two of them together. They make like, that was the OG fan edit. - I love that. - I mean, she was just a normal girl. - Yeah. - Just a normal girl. - 'Cause I think that's what inspired, like that gave us hope as a young fan. You were like, oh my God, he moved to Atlanta, and he just met this family, and he's doing this girl. - I could be, like, literally, that could be me. - With Nick Jonas, you're like, I could be his Caitlyn Beatles. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Yeah. - Well, Caitlyn, dear Drew, out August 4th. - Best of luck on your new endeavor. - What if it's a banger? - I've heard part of it, it's not, we've heard this song, a dance or four. - Yeah, it's not original material. - No, no, you know? - She puts part of the songs in the TikTok. Pretty much. - Well, she'll get people listening, that's for sure. - It has, let's say, since I last watched it, because that original video was up six days ago, 237,000 views. - Oh, I was expecting more. - I was expecting more too, but she does, they'll pump up. - I mean, she was getting like, very minimal numbers on other TikToks. You know, this is certainly gonna get the people talking. - It will. - It will. - Hey, guys, we're gonna take a quick break and we will be right back. - Football seasons here, and whether you're grinding your way through the week or gearing up for kickoff, there's one ride that's always game ready, the Chevy Silverado. And you know what's funny, John Samos is the perfect person to go on dancing with the stars. - Perfect person. - So when I saw this, I thought, oh my God, I can't believe I never thought it was an aim. - And I don't blame casting for going after him every year because he is the quintessential dancer with the stars contestant. - Yeah, but he said it. - Sorry, John Samos. I know he thinks that's an insult, it's not. - Right, it's not. And by the way, you would be so lucky. - Yeah. - He said, he'll never do it because it's made to make people look a fool and get injuries, like embarrassment and all that. And it's like, well, not if you're good, John. And what's funny is he did this all talking, he talked about this all on Bobby Bones podcast. - Who did end one dancing with the stars? - Exactly. So it's like, 'cause he was like, man, I think you'd be really good at it. And he was like, no, never, never want to do it. And you know what I have to say to that, John? Never say, never. Catch him, it's one year. Who knows what could happen? And you may want to do dancing with the stars. - Totally true. - And it's never been more popular and better. So don't knock it. He's only missing out. He'll come, he'll come begging. - Yeah. At a certain point, everyone's going to want to be out. You know, you hit that point where dancing with the stars, you'd be so lucky if they gave you a call. - Exactly. Last topic, I just want to quickly mention some Emmy nominations. We're not going to go through the entire list. But some some reality shows got an Emmy nomination. I want to talk about summer house getting nominated. - Yeah. - This is always confusing and weird to me. Because same thing happened with Vanderpump rules after the big scandal of all. They got nominated for an Emmy. Now, summer house has just been nominated for an Emmy and they never had before. And obviously, this has to do with how juicy and drama-fied this season was. But then you get the people that the drama was about, not on the show anymore, and they kicked off the show. And so it's a very confusing thing to me, right? Because it's like, would summer house been nominated if it wasn't for all the drama? You know, just how Vanderpump rules they were nominated until that. - It's just so far because when it gives, it gives like Amanda and West that satisfaction of being like, you guys got an Emmy nomination because of me. You know, like, don't you think I could see those two at home? - Yeah. - In their striped shirt, like you're wearing right now, being like, oh, they got nominated for an Emmy. And it's all because of us. - Yeah. - You know, like, I could see that going on at home. - Certainly Ken, I feel like the Emmy nomination is really to acknowledge the handling of the drama. It's like a nod to production for being able to put together a season when there is so much drama and tie in the goods. Does that make sense? - No, no. I think it's like, it's like, it's not, you're not awarding like the reality. - No, I think you were awarded a good job. Here's an Emmy. That's not what the Emmy is. - I think they're rewarding like the capitalization of the drama, like, wow, this was our UCS season. They're not like, hey, good working through all that drama. But that's technically what the Emmy is. No, like outstanding reality. What is the, what is the category? - I think it's ensemble. - No. I don't know what the whole, outstanding variety, yes, any variety special, I'm saying, no, that's not it. None of these are it. - What's the category? - outstanding unstructured reality program. - So it was just like for an unspeaked reality show. - Yep, yep. - So I think it's like, who are they nominated up against? - American sweethearts, love and spectrum, love and drag race, love and talk like so. - Hmm, that's an all over the place there. - Really all over the place. That's why I think it's always so random with that category. - But I think because summer competition and stuff with the numbers and everything because of the drama, they're like-- - Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. - Where you get the nominations. - Yes, yes, definitely. - Well numbers wise, you probably can't argue. They had, I'm sure it crushed. - Mm-hmm. - So in that sense, yes. - Same with Vanderpupp, it was like just like the number of the vast number of people watching is gonna put you in that category. But it's just not sustainable to like be rewarded for that level of drama. You know, you can't repeat that kind of drama. - No, no, 'cause then it looks fake. Like this was, you know, nobody wanted this. But then it was juicy enough for everyone to do it. - Yes, definitely. When it was back, I got a ton of nominations. A lot for more, for scripted stuff. Love story was in the mix for limited series. And Sarah Pigeon was nominated. But no, Paul Anthony Kelly, which. - As it should be. - Do you love each other? - No, I said he immediately checked to make sure she wasn't-- - No, I was shocked when I saw the show was nominated. I think she, she just doesn't know what to make from the show. I'm kind of surprised. - He's cast in the house made secret. So the sequel to the house made, he will be in Paul Anthony Kelly. - Yeah, he's got a bunch of big roles. The pit, obviously, a ton. That was like really-- - That was the most-- - One of the most nominated, right? - 25. - Yeah. I think Hacks had a ton, too, who's also another one, where it's like last season, final season, you know? - That was the second most. - Hacks was the second most. - 24. - Yeah, yeah. - And then what else may it was the third one? - Nothing for like euphoria as a whole, but Zendaya and Coleman Domingo were both nominated, which checks out they were both great. Jason Beaman got nominated for Black Rabbit. He was so good in that. - I forgot about that show, so good. It was a ton that another big year for Matthew Reese. - Yeah. - Oh yeah. - He was like the first. - He was obviously the first. - But then he was also the beast in me, so there was like a lot of-- - I saw some headline that he was the first to be nominated for like two different roles. - Right, 'cause I think he's, he got nominated for the beast in me, and then also for-- - What else? - What else may, right? - Yeah. - Yeah, yes, that's very impressive. - Spider-new War got a lot of nominations, and that's something that like I forgot came out, but that's the Nicholas Cage, which I kind of want to watch. - Yes, I did not, I did not watch that. But yes, I don't know. And you know what, you know what show totally? I was like, it was, it was a bizarre one, but also one where I was like, this is gonna be nominated, and Tom was DTF St. Louis. - Yeah. - Although it was-- - But Jason Beaman got another nomination for that too. So that same thing, nominated for two different shows. - Bad money. - This lead end support. - I'm just looking at, in order of the most nominations, the Super Bowl halftime show is up there. - Nice. - Ariana got nominated too, right? Ariana Maddox for hosts. - Yeah. Constance Zimmer got nominated for Love Story. - They really like Love Story, huh? - Which was, you know, she was good. - Yeah, that's a, wasn't, that was an interesting one. I thought. - Dancing with the stars got some. - Yeah, they did. - Dancing with the stars is back in the mix for the first time in like 10 years, I think. - Yeah. - It used to be nominated. That's a, a standing reality competition series. Dancing with the stars, RuPaul, survivor, top chef, traders. - First nomination in 10 years for Dancing with the Stars. - Yeah. Super Bowl halftime show gets a standing variety special. And it's like that, but it just goes up, Super Bowl halftime show goes up against like, just the award shows. Golden Globes, the Grammys, the Oscars, the tones. - Oh. - That's the other nominee. - Oh, wow, that's interesting. So it's like one halftime show against like, full shows. - Uh-huh, exactly. Connor's story got nominated for his appearance on SNL because he did robbery is made by like, a full Canadian production team. So they are not eligible for this. - Yeah. - People were like, "Why did he get the robbery on here?" - This is interesting. What do you think the most nominations for a platform, like which platform had the most nominations? - Apple TV. - No, they're three. - Hulu? Oh, no, no. I would say HBO. - HBO? - Yeah, HBO max, 122. - That makes sense. - And then Netflix and then Apple TV. - Hacks got outstanding guest actress in the comedy series is basically all women that guest start in Hacks besides. - Oh my god. - Jamie Lee Curtis in the bear and Betty Gilpin in Widow's Bay. Leslie Bibb, Cherry Jones, Laurie Metcalf-Kalen Olsen, and Lauren Weedman Alt for Hacks. - They were all fantastic in Hacks. - Leslie Bibb was so good and that episode was so good. - So so good. Obviously everybody in the pit was nominated. I think the pit was maybe the most nominated show again? - It was. - Yeah. - It was the most nominated, yeah. - Yeah, yep. So that was a big one. I saw people saying like Jeremy Allen White, not getting for the bear was. - This season he wasn't like the focus of the season. - Although, is it based on this season that just came out? - No, no. I don't think it would have made it at time. - Yeah. - So that gets one last season. - That's crazy that the bear will be getting nominations a year from now. - Right, that would be my- - Nothing for stranger things. I know people are talking about that. - That was so bad. - It seems like it's been forgotten about. - Yeah. - Yep. - Nothing for John Hamm. - Oh, a night of the Seven Kingdoms. - Night of the Seven Kingdoms. - Yep, yep. Jason Finney was not many for the testaments, which I know people really liked. And yeah, that's, I mean, that's a great one for Ariana. Like you said, that's awesome. What a cool experience. Beef got nominated a lot. - Yeah, never watched that second season. - You guys both didn't watch Beef. - I started the second and then I was supposed to finish it. Yeah, I stopped watching the first season and then I just never got a second. - So you guys also not watched Plurivus? I can't remember. - No. - That's really up there as well. - Yeah. Night of the Seven Kingdoms got a best show nomination, but none of the actors were nominated, right? - It has nine total, it's you. He deserved it. Or that kid deserved it. What's his name? Night of the Seven Kingdoms. - Yeah, he was so good. Oh, love him. Oh, I would have loved it. I would have loved if he was a, if he was in there. - Yeah, it doesn't seem like he did. - Yeah. So probably somewhere else, and he's sitting there with this article says, variety arcs says Bravo should send champagne to Amanda Patul and Wes Wilson as the scandalous hook-up, he's surely secured voters. - Yeah, I mean, that's kind of. - Wes Wilson can be pulling up to the Emmys and it tucks. - Honestly, like I would. They probably, you just gotta like maybe be as fully obnoxious about his possible. - They won't be invited, but will hear Wes talking about on his podcast that he shouldn't be invited. - You know, for sure. - He'll be on his podcast being like, I mean, I'm the reason. You know, we'll see that clip this week. - And what's annoying is like, yeah. - Yeah, I mean, they're not. - I know. - Wrong. - Really, like that drama is, you know? That's what pulled people in, unfortunately. - Yeah. - All right, that wraps up the Emmys nominations and today's topics.
