And then Aries is igniting the fire, and then that also is spring equinox, which is the balance of light and dark, and all of the change that we need ahead. Here we go. Number two, Aries season begins, which means spring equinox, which means astrological new year, happy new year, darling. We are so ready for it. And this week, we are talking about new beginnings, finally, because we are saying bye-bye, bye-bye, ovoi to one zodiacal year, and hello, banjure. Hi, hi, hi to another. It's the astrological New Year baby, and we are living for it because we really desperately need it. We have been really desperately needing it. And if you were like, wow, Jan first, what a bust. That's because we astrologers do not abide by that Gregorian calendar, honey. No, we are all about the spring equinox. Now, first, before we sprint into airy season, we have to honor what is happening at the very end of this zodiacal cycle, because we have one very, very important closure, which is also a new beginning wrapped up in a closure, and it's a new moon in Pisces at 28 degrees. This is very significant. Now, 28 degrees, if you've been here, you know that that's late in the game. Every zodiac sign only goes to 29 degrees, so this 28 degree point is a threshold. It is in the final stretch, and it is the moment before the curtain drops and the lights come on again. And what makes this new moon even more important is that it's the first non-equipped blue nation we have had since January, when a clip season kicked off and really started kicking up all the dirt and stirring things around and reality started shape shifting all around us. And as you know, because we've lived it, eclipses accelerate timelines. They destabilize, they redirect. But this new moon right here, this new moon in Pisces is our first exhale after all of the chaos and insanity that has been. New moons are traditionally about beginnings and manifestation. And this one in Pisces is a really interesting one because Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac. So there is this inherent closure baked into all things Pisces. There is this inherent surrender. But what this offers as it is the final new moon before we begin a New Zodiacal year, and it is also a new moon, which is about manifestation. But it's then the last sign is that we are really thinking about surrender and gratitude with this new nation. We are honoring all that has been felt, all of the ways that we have survived, all of the things that have dissolved, all of the ways that we forgave and have been forgiven. This new nation is asking you to sit with the full spectrum of your life, honey, the highs, the lows, the grief, the confusion, the miracles. And honestly find blessings and appreciation for all of it, for the totality of your lived experience. Before you charge forward, you have to acknowledge. Before you initiate, you have to integrate. And Pisces reminds us that closure is a beginning. And when you honor closure, the beginning reveals itself naturally as the obvious and necessary next step. The sun is entering aries. Pisces season was all about dreaming, but now aries season is about acting. Aries is the initiator, the warrior, the trailblazer of the zodiac, which means that aries season is all about doing and achieving and just going for the damn thing. No more waiting. No more over analyzing. No more feeling bad for yourself. Aries season wants you to move. It wants you to risk it all and go, go, go. Now as the first fiery sign of the entire zodiac this season is just inherently about beginnings. It's inherently about igniting the spark of something new and really just running with it. Aries is symbolized by the RAM, which means it charges headfirst into new challenges. It's fueled by that cardinal fire energy. It loves to initiate and lead. Aries planetary ruler is Mars and Mars is the planet of action of vitality of ferocious determination. Together the energy of Mars and aries is this powdercug of activity. We call to all of us to take risks to be brave to reclaim your ambitions and lest we forget that Neptune and Saturn are also in aries have just come into aries very, very recently. So we have all of this energy of initiation and new beginnings backing the sun's movement into this zodiac sign too. And of course, you know, you are feeling it. I am feeling it. Aries energy is super intense, but don't you forget that there is also an underlying sense of intuition and knowing even behind Aries swift moving actions. That means that this season is going to ask you to reflect on your desires and your passions and your goals. So let's talk about it. What sets your soul on fire, baby? What have you been longing to create or to try or to conquer? How can you embrace a little selfishness over the next four weeks? Yes, you are allowed to. And I don't mean that in a thoughtless way. I don't mean that in a greedy disrespectful, how dare you way. I mean that in a way that actually reminds me of the world. you of your worth and your right to pursue what you truly want in this lifetime. Aerie season is a masterclass in honoring yourself and asserting your place in the world. But with all of that passion and enthusiasm, you know that this season obviously is going to bring its own unique set of challenges because why wouldn't it? So over the next four weeks, yes, you may find yourself butting heads with others just like the RAM itself, right? Frustrations can flare up, especially if you feel like something or someone is standing in your way. How dare they? Am I right? The key to navigating this tense energy is to channel the fire from Aerie season in a really constructive way. So instead of letting your anger or impatience consume you, I want to encourage you to harness that energy to fuel your progress and determination. And that's part of what makes Aerie season such a beautiful time to set goals and take risks. And dive headfirst into the things that excite you that yes, you may have been too scared to try before. Yes, go start that niche Etsy business. Go turn your hobby into a side hustle. Go sign up for the standup comedy class, even if you are afraid of embarrassing yourself. Or go have that conversation with your roommate about how their ban needs to find a practice space that isn't your living room because this is untenable. Waiting for the perfect moment will mean that you are waiting forever, honey. And Aerie season is pointing a clock reminding you that the best time to make something happen is right now. Honestly, it was yesterday, but right now we'll also have to do. And of course, if you're looking for more ways to align with Aerie's energy, you can start by connecting with your physical body. Aerie's thrives on movement and action. So this is really a wonderful time to engage with activities that get your blood pumping. So whether you are hitting the gym and you're in your Arnold Schwarzenegger era, or you are hiking or you are just dancing around your living room, physical exertion is going to help you channel the intensity while also keeping you grounded. Okay, so my friends, over the next four weeks, you better be reflecting on how you can show up for yourself. Are you embracing your independence? Are you taking bold steps towards your dreams? Are you making sure that this is the time that you really celebrate your uniqueness and pursue your goals with courage and conviction? Head on. Remember Aerie's does not give a shit about perfection, but it does care about progress. And of course, the icing on the astrological New Year cake is that Aerie season is also the Vernal Equinox, aka Spring Equinox. And if the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Equinox is an expensive gym, let me explain Equinox here, the astrological kind happens when the earth's access is tilted neither towards nor away from the sun. And that basically creates a completely even split of day and night, light and darkness. So it makes sense that the word Equinox comes from the Latin words, Icus and Nox, which literally together mean equal night. Now this phenomenon of Equinox's occur twice a year, right now with the Vernal Spring Equinox, and then with the Autumn Equinox, the first day of Libra season, which is six months from now. And for thousands of years, cultures around the world have embraced these important moments, these important turning of the seasons as times marked by these transitions. And that has been measured in everything from farming to religion to migration. So many things are anchored around these Equinoxes and then the other turning points of the year, which are solstices. The Equinoxes represent the natural world's incredible ability to survive and regenerate and to consistently renew itself on both a cellular and a planetary level year after year. The key to understanding the power of the Vernal Equinox is to understand this balance, right, of night and day, which creates this even split, but also symbolizes the push and pull between themes of sleep and awareness, mystery and truth, past and present. Basically, baby, this is your turning point. On the other side of Spring Equinox, we are going to have more light than darkness. So embrace this moment, this threshold as a pass through for you to get to the other side of wherever you have been and to start over all about new beginnings. Last thing I want to mention is I'm very obsessed with the fact that on the day that the sun moves into Aries after three incredibly annoying weeks of Mercury retrograde, Mercury retrograde ends on March 20th. The same day Aries season begins, Spring Equinox and I truly could not think of a better way to celebrate a new beginning than Mercury retrograde being over Praise B. And believe it or not, we pulled it the week of September 22nd, which was the autumn equinox shut up shut up. The last time we pulled this card was six months ago at the exact other equinox light and dark holy shit. That's a tank. There are no coincidences tank to tank tank tank tank tank. So as you know, my friends, I always want you to consider what was going on in your life. The last time we pulled this card in this case, it is so very for real. What was going on in your life six months ago at the last equinox as we were descending into darkness as we were all going into our Persephone era going into the underworld. Now we are emerging from the underworld and the king of cups is back again. And the king of Cups is a court card, which means that this is about the energy for us to be channeling. King of Cups is the master of their emotions. King of Cups is the master of their intuition. King of Cups is the energy of understanding how to ride those waves, baby, how to set sail, how to be in charge of your own emotional spiritual energetic domain. You are the captain now. Yes, captain Jack, the captain of your own emotions. You are in charge. So let your emotions guide you forward. Sail on them. Go do those places. But also recognize that emotions will take you in places that you may were not prepared to go to. That's okay too. As long as you know, what is emotions and what is fact, right? The fact that we got king of cups closing out the astrological year with the new moon and Pisces means that like with this lunation, we really are in charge of our emotional territory. And you control your life by controlling your emotions, right? Like that is really how we reach an enlightenment space is by understanding how to ride the waves and how to be above and transcending the emotional ebbs and flows that can really throw us off.
