MAGA Laura Loomer Doubles Down On Disgusting Racist Attacks; Republicans Trash Trump
42m 20s
Tammy, a college parent, shares her experience of hauling supplies for her kids, highlighting her savings at BJ's Wholesale Club, where she finds affordable essentials like beef jerky and microwave meals. She emphasizes cost-saving through BJ's gas and low prices, positioning herself as a "road warrior mom." The commercial promotes a limited-time, $20 join offer with 10 cents per gallon in gas savings for six months. The segment transitions into a political discussion featuring criticism of Donald Trump and Republican figures, including allegations of racism, anti-Semitism, and misinformation—such as Michelle Bachman's claim about Gaza obesity. The host condemns right-wing extremism, including Nazi symbolism at a Florida kickboxing event and the GOP's silence on bigotry. They argue that Trump's influence legitimizes hate, and that systemic racism and far-right actions pose a greater threat than criticism of Israel. The piece concludes with a call for moral clarity, truth-telling, and protection of vulnerable communities, while also hinting at the launch of a new podcast called “The Weekend Read” or “Welch's Lemonade” to provide a weekend news and commentary hub.
Tammy regularly hauls stuff to her kids at college.
That's why she shops at BJ's Wholesale Club,
saving up to 25% off grocery store prices.
Beef jerky, microwave meals, laundry pods, even they can't screw up.
Have you met my kids?
And with BJ's gas, she gets there for less.
They call me the road warrior.
This is your home, road warrior mom.

Hey, it's Ryan Reynolds here from Mint Mobile.
Now, I was looking for fun ways to tell you
that Mint's offer of unlimited premium wireless for $15 a month is back.
So I thought it would be fun if we made $15 bills.
But it turns out that's very illegal.
So there goes my big idea for the commercial.
Give it a try at mintmobile.com slash switch.
Upfront payment of $45 for three months, $90 for six months,
or $180 for a 12-month plan required.
$15 per month equivalent. Taxes and fees extra.
Initial plan term only greater than 50 gigabytes.
May slow when network is busy.
See terms.
All right, it's Friday.
It's time for the weekend read or Welch's Lemonade
or allegedly I'm here with my gorgeous, gorgeous co-host, Don Lemon.
Don, Laura Loomer is madder than a hornet at you
and she is calling you mean things on Twitter.
Pop this up.
Oh, my God.
This is breaking news to me, Jen.
You haven't seen this yet?
No, I have not.
Oh, my God.
I can't wait.
Go ahead.
Let me know what happened.
Okay.
It's ironic how Don Lemon is out.
They're calling me ugly and accusing me of being racist.
Between me and Don, one of us was charged by the Department of Justice
under the historic 1871 Ku Klux Klan Act
following an anti-ice protest at a Minnesota church.
And it wasn't me.
Democrats like Don Lemon hate that I have exposed Angie Nixon for what she is.
And then she goes on to be incredibly racist
and again calls Angie Nixon a ghetto black communist.
What do you have to say to yourself?
Well, first of all, it makes no sense.
It's like, oh, my God, breaking news.
Don Lemon was charged by the Department of Justice under the Ku Klux Klan Act,
which shows how ridiculous this case is.
So thank you for making my case, Laura Loomer.
She's not very bright, which is what I said.
And, Jen, you know my love for women.
You know my love for my mom and my family.
You know how I treat.
Well, you know, right?
Of course.
Of course.
I hate calling out that people like that.
I hate calling out women and being disrespectful.
But I don't think it was disrespectful to call out Laura Loomer,
who called black women ghetto black bitches.
OK?
And considering the beautiful queens, right,
these gorgeous women that she's calling ghetto black bitches.
Have you seen what she's done to her face?
I'm all about improvement.
Women want to get to men, whatever you want to get done to your face.
But don't come here looking like that.
I'm not going to be a clown.
I'm going to be a clown.
believe in modern history. Overall golf expenses. Let me just say, because, you know, I love facts.
There are funny things about facts. Overall golf expenses, tracking groups and government estimates
a place of cumulative costs of Donald Trump's golf related Secret Service detail and travel at
over 70 million to 77 million dollars during his first presidential term alone. And we've gone into
his second presidential term. And I'm not even getting to all the vacations that he goes to
every time he goes to Mar-a-Lago. And we're paying for that. I'm not getting getting into all of the
money they spent on Secret Service and people following every member of his administration
around as they, Marco Rubio, raise money in Sag Harbor and the Hamptons. Who do you think is paying
for that? I'm asking, who do you think is paying for it? I'm not sure. I think the taxpayer is
paying for the fuel.
The plane, the travel. So if you want to save some money, clean up your own damn house.
Yeah. And spend all the money on that trashy ass, tacky ass, white trash gold that you're putting up
all over the place in that ballroom. Maybe we start there. I mean, it's just but you know what
this is. This is an attack on the working class. Labor Day is a day where we honor laborers. And
this is an attack on the working class. And it's further an extension of the propaganda started
with Ronald Reagan that.
Working class people are lazy. They're lazy. And so this lazy trope is something that they're all
really leaning into right now. And I just want to point out the laziest MFR I've ever seen in my
life is the guy who's on national television nonstop sleeping with RFK Jr. barking right here,
which is phenomenal that you can sleep with RFK going in your ear. I never I mean,
I listen to some ambient noise at night, but it's soothing. The ambient noise for our elderly
president is RFK Jr. And he sleeps on the global stage all day, every day. So that's just pretty rich.
Yeah, it is. And I'm glad you mentioned like sort of vilifying or demonizing the working class,
because these are these are the people that he's supposed to be protecting or he pretends that he
cares about when everything that comes out of his mouth, not even say that everything that comes out
of his mouth because he gives like lip service to them. So so scratch that. But every pretty much every single policy,
or for the most part, they don't favor the working class people, the rich people, the oligarchs,
the billionaires are paying less percentage wise than, you know, the grocery store cashier or the person or just the average person,
the secretary or the secretary or whatever the average job is, they're paying less.
All of these tax cuts benefit his wealthy friends. His policies benefit his wealthy friends.
And also speaking of trying to limit access to the voting booth also affects working class people because people have jobs.
They have to work. They need to have more access to the booth, more polling places rather than them limiting it.
More opportunities to vote, like voting by mail, which he does and which Donald Trump is trying to restrict for others.
So he doesn't respect the working class people, in my opinion, and through facts.
In not just the reporting, but in his policies.
So if he really cared about working class people, he would spend a lot less time trying to restrict holidays and voting and from them to be able to make a living wage and to pay less taxes and spend more time on trying to doing it rather than also, Jen.
This game show that he's doing with Nicki Minaj.
What were he there?
They're in cahoots.
The reporting is that they're going to do a game show like a grocery store.
No, no.
Or a small business game show.
Nobody wants this.
Where she's a judge and maybe he's the host.
It's crazy.
Nobody wants this, right?
No, I don't want to see that shit.
I don't want to see that.
I've seen enough of him.
Oh, my God.
For God's sakes.
Kylie, look into that.
Speaking of nobody wanting to see much of Trump, Republicans are not happy about Trumpapalooza.
And Trumpapalooza is he's going to have a convention for the midterms.
And he's putting himself front and center because he doesn't want to see that.
And he's putting himself front and center because he doesn't want to see Trumpapalooza.
into that. And Trumpapalooza is, he's going to have a convention for the midterms. And he's putting
himself front and center because why not? He's a malignant narcissist. And the Republicans who
voted for the malignant narcissist, who have tethered themselves to this sinking ship or
rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic right now as it goes down, and they're whispering in
the background, they're not happy about this. Pop this up. A mess. House Republicans trash
Trump's midterm conventions. Doesn't say they will blow it off. And here's what I have to say,
big boys. Say it on the floor. Say it. Say it on CNN. Say it on MSNOW. You're welcome to come
on Welch's Lemonade, also known as The Weekend Read, also known as Allegedly. And tell us,
trash him, trash him with a microphone. Do they have the balls to say that? No,
they just leak it anonymously.
They leak it anonymously to reporters because they are P-U-S-S-I-E-S's. All of them.
Yes. And by that, she means pussies.
You use the T-W-A-T word, which I don't know as a man if I can say that.
I really like it. The Brits use it. The Brits use it all the time. And I really like it. I'm
trying to make it Americanized. You twat. They use that and they use the other word
that we can't say a lot. C-U-N-T.
Yeah.
Which the kids are, for the kids, it's a term of endearment. I mean, it's like, yeah,
you know, I am not saying it. It's not in my vernacular. But a couple of things as it
relates to that. Number one, Jen, I've been in this for a long time. I went through 2016,
the beginning of this. I've interviewed Donald Trump, you know, many times. And
we would, people would come onto the show and they would be the biggest,
the biggest anti-Trumpers. And then finally, when they realized that it helped them,
them career-wise, they became Donald Trump supporters, right? In the green room,
in the pre-call, in the whatever, having a drink with them. This man is terrible. Oh my God,
I can't believe it. He's awful. Blah, blah, blah. And you go, oh, welcome to the program,
whatever congressperson or spokesperson. Nice to see you. Now, Donald Trump is going to say,
oh my God, he's great. He's the best thing since life. They won't say it publicly. They'll say it
when the cameras aren't rolling. So you're not going to be the best thing since life.
You're right. Say it in person. Say it in front of a microphone. Come on this program. We'd love
to have you if that's truly what you believe. And guess what? I do believe it's what they believe.
They are cowards. I believe it's what they believe because what I am hearing from my sources in
Washington is that it's $25,000, I think, to attend, which the, whatever representative or
whatever branch of government that you're in, you have to pay that money. Donald Trump is not
spending or sending any money to anybody. He's not spending any money to anybody. He's not spending
any money to anybody who has run for office except for Lindsey Graham's sister. And that was
under a million dollars. He's saving it all for him. And so they're having to go back. They just
came off of summer vacation. They're having to go back. They're here this week. They got back
this week. So they have one week and then they're off again for, pardon me, they're off again for
another week or maybe seven days. They're going back to their districts to fundraise.
Because they're not giving them any money and they're going back to their districts to fundraise.
But guess what? They're not giving them any money. They're not doing either. They're not doing town halls. They're not doing anything public with
their constituents because they're afraid of what that looks like, the optics. And they know that
they're going to get roasted. So number one, they're hypocrites. Number two, they're cowards.
And number three, they're not representing the people they're supposed to represent.
So I love this for them. I love that they voted for him and they have been such loyal foot soldiers.
They'll talk behind his back, but they will never, ever say a word publicly. And he has $400 million
war chest. $400 million is a lame duck and he won't give any out. What has it done?
No, no, it's going to say none. But when you said war chest, war, think about this. And it relates
to what we're talking about. Even the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, who is supposed to
have his own independent power of the executive branch. They're kind of equal when it comes to
governing this country. They're supposed to be. They're supposed to have the war powers, right?
When you said war chest, they're supposed to have the war powers. When asked by Manu Raju over at CNN,
you know, about this was supposed to go on, whatever. And you have been touting this war.
And he goes, that's a dumb question. I'm paraphrasing you. That's a dumb question.
Do you think the Speaker of the House is responsible for an international war?
Yes, because the war, the war powers are supposed to go through Congress. You have relinquished your
power in the legislative branch to the executive branch. So yes, you are equally as responsible for
this war as the president of the United States, because if you really wanted to stop him, you
could cut off his money. You could cut off his money. You can tell him that he can't do it. You
can threaten to impeach him. You have all types of levers within our government to be able to stop
someone from a war of choice, a president from a war of choice, and you're not doing it. So not
only are they afraid to criticize him, they're afraid to stand up for their own power, the right
that has been granted to them under the Constitution. They're afraid of it. So if you believe in the
Constitution, you believe in the Constitution, you believe in the Constitution, you believe in the
Constitution, you believe in your job, you believe in your constituents, then you should be doing
something differently. So yes, Mike Johnson, you are just as responsible for this war as Donald
Trump and all of the other people who are afraid to call him on it or who vote against the War
Powers Act. I'm sorry, Jen. No, I love it. Well, you know why little Moses doesn't do anything?
It's because he's busy monitoring his sons. That, but also his testicles are in the top drawer of the
resolute desk right under elon musk kid's booger that he wiped on it so it goes musk booger and
then moses mike grinder johnson's testicles and that's why he doesn't do a goddamn thing about it
because testicles are right by the kid's booger but when and i i'm so glad you brought all that
up but when i talk about the 400 million dollar war chest i know you know this but listen i'm
talking about that's what they refer to as like campaign money the rnc war chest and he's refusing
to spend it on anybody and ted cruz ted cruz who has been so loyal i mean he's donald trump called
heidi ugly he said ted cruz your dad killed jfk and ted cruz says god bless donald trump i mean
he goes so hard in the paint for trump well he is mad he is mad at republicans for not being excited
about ken paxton in texas let's play the clip the republicans that are throwing rocks at at
ken paxton
you
I love this for ted i love this for ted because ted you know he likes to talk about how what a
great christian he is god bless donald trump and here he is supporting ken paxton
paxton ken paxton is absolutely a scoundrel of the highest order his wife is divorcing him for
biblical reasons he's been out playing grab ass with his mistress in london all summer and it's
all over the internet i mean this guy is just absolutely a flea bag beyond all recognition
i love this for all of them i i'm loving all of these meltdowns for ted ted tweeted about me this
week oh he did yeah kylie pop it up kylie's gotta find it's really good i really made my day oh you
know while she's popping it up remember he retweeted something about me i forget what it was
and uh and i called him out on the on his wife and the whole thing all right let me read this in my
ted cruz voice god save us from liberal white women i don't know this jennifer welch character
but she seems to be filled with pure boiling hate so radical so extreme that she views the
rest of america as her enemies and i read this and i just tapped my arm and i was like
inject it into my veins maggot tears what a he's scared of white liberal women so let's review
ted you're scared of drag queens you're scared of books you're scared of black people now you're
scared of white liberal women could ted cruz be a bigger could he don is it possible uh with ted
cruz i would say yes it is possible that he could be a bigger i mean jen have you seen ted cruz
he could be a bigger i look i don't know if you remember right after donald trump very close
to the time after donald trump said his wife was ugly and that whole thing and um and they you know
they went through the whole primary ted do you remember that video and that sad picture image of
ted cruz in the call center calling people to support donald trump after donald trump had talked
about him it was i if if you you know the resolute desk and what's in the resolute desk as
you said from maggie mike johnson is the same thing for ted cruz ted cruz will do anything
that he thinks keeps him in power and in favor with the president of the united states he does
he has no convictions obviously he has no convictions about the people he
is supposed to serve because he certainly during covet hopped on that plane to go to uh cancun and
didn't give a about the people back home and wasn't that i think it was during the time
correctly if i'm wrong that the power grid was suffering in texas and people didn't have power
uh i think that was yeah i think that was during that picture back up put that picture back up
there he is there's a lion there he is he is such a submissive wife he has i mean he has submitted
to his husband a son-in-law he has submitted to his husband a son-in-law he has submitted to his husband a son-in-law
a simp john trump what a simp they call him a simp or yeah i mean
with a u not with a no she's saying that's right okay so um here we have a video
of how i love that you bring the tea you bring the tea man that's why i love it it's friday it's
the weekend we've been we've battled through another week of this fascist takeover we're
here to give the people the news with some sass all right so now we have howard lutnick
who would oftentimes refer to as howard nutlick um and he is sucking up to trump on fox news let's
play the clip we're gonna mess with the united states of america and its economy and you were
right adjacent to our northern border i think it was really disrespectful we were treated
disrespectfully and i think when you treat donald trump disrespectfully you know he knows it and
that's what happened they did it for politics was he talking about canada was he is he talking about
is that was it canada
they expected that they can attack canada and that canada should not uh fire back or
attack back or defend themselves which is absolutely ridiculous i mean donald trump
isn't a king and so if you attack donald trump okay donald trump's not a king
the american people are supposed to be the deciders in this country i i look at they're all
wimpy because they're all their husband you're right is donald trump it feels like a husband
it feels like donald trump is the head of the household he and when he comes home they are
they make him a snack a sandwich they're making that bacon he makes that bacon and and howard
nutlick's frying up in a pan do you remember that commercial and never never never let you forget
because i want anjali
yes that is of course i remember that yes that's what it is and then hello honey here's your dinner
i ordered it especially for you and it's still warm right in the mcdonald's bag
that's what they're doing every night in his apron howard and ted are there servicing donald trump
they are they are trad wives the the trad wives of maga plot twist they're all men plot plot twist
the pronouns are going to be crazy but isn't plot twist that they're all men in the republican party
yeah yeah exactly okay i know that sounds like a standard norm for me did you ever have michelle
botwin on your on your cnn the the crazy from minnesota oh you should just google you don't
have to do it now google don lemon and michelle bachman we had a row and i think it was in iowa or
somewhere this was years ago and she was getting on her plane or getting on a helicopter or
somewhere in an uh entourage whatever and i asked her a question she didn't like and we went at it
so uh yeah and she's dumb as a stump oh jesus she's back and she has some things to say about
um israel palestine play the clip the other thing that they've been accused of is famine
that uh that israel has tried to starve gazans when as a matter of fact their calorie count is
over 3 000 calories per person a day from all of the food that's coming in and the biggest problem
they're dealing with most recently in gaza is obesity because so many calories have been coming
in in gaza what she said that with a straight face she said the biggest problem they're dealing with
in gaza is obesity and there was there were cameras that recorded it i told you she was
dumb okay i'm sorry to have to say that she's not a very bright woman and she's not let's just put it
this way okay because my mama raised me right she is uninformed on this particular issue many other
issues and she um says it as you said in front of cameras rolling if you want to prove some to
someone of your ignorance or just how uninformed you are keep talking i know there's a saying i
forget what the exact quote is right if you want to prove how dumb you are or something then keep
talking but uh and that's what michelle bachman does there's a reason that she was i think she
was running for president or something at one point is when i interviewed her and then her staff
and like tried to push me out of the way because i was asking her tough questions she like elbowed me
but i think that um that's the reason that she's not in office it's very similar reason that nikki
um what's her name uh hayley is not in office is because their ideas are outdated they appear to be
uninformed on the issues or because they're not in the office they're not in the office because they're
not in the office they're not in the office because they i don't see i would think that i
would think that nikki haley would know better and so she's just saying it because she wants you know
to gain favor with the mega group but i just think michelle bachman just doesn't know i just think
she's not a very bright person to say that obesity is the the the biggest issue in god too many
calories in she said three thousand calories a person has she seen the images coming out of gaza
she's seen the reports it's crazy it's demolished and and the kids are starving and people are
starving there
it's absolutely an absolute human rights disaster and michelle bachman is one of these politicians
that always wears her faith on her sleeve and you know this is this is something that she should
should be a leader on if she is this big follower of Christ she should be a leader on talking about
the human suffering of the uh gods and children but of course as we see the the loudest most overt
religiosity does is not followed up with the kindest acts in this country which brings me
to some insane footage from a kick boxing event in Florida over this weekend pop this up let's see
yes so they're holding up Nazi flags people are doing sick hiles back to them a bunch of white
dudes you know kind of this yeah America pickup trucks nuts on the truck swastikas Maga
they're all doing sick hiles and they this is really exciting the event was a kickboxing match
featuring a far right white supremacist internet personality who goes by the name Gypsy Crusader
after winning the match he made an
anti-semitic remark about his Jewish opponent and his supporters can also be seen waving Nazi
flags and doing Nazi salutes in the crowd and I just I'm going to just take a wild stab at this
right here I would think that the majority of people overwhelming 99 of the people in that room
if they went out and voted in 24 voted for Donald Trump that's their Big Ten um what do people say
not all the not all
Maga people are racist but all the racists are Maga uh-huh so I can't say that I uh disagree we
disagree with you on that point and uh to me it's obvious that's where we are in America so when
people like me and like you women right um you're liberal I'm an independent but when people like me
especially black people talk about uh the bigotry and the racism uh the homophobia all of it you
know gay people talk about that but
especially black people we talk about that people deny it even people like uh officer Tater right
they deny that there is systemic racism that there's systemic racism in policing that America
is not a racist country uh politicians who have run for office have said that I think Donald
Trump says that I think Maga folks say that America is not a racist country um we may not
be a racist country but there are a whole lot of racists who live in this country there are racists
who are deciding um making decisions politically for all Americans black Americans every single
day minorities every single day we have Neo-Nazis running around in khakis we have this display at
this boxing match or whatever it is we had the MMA fighter who said you know who talked about
Michelle Obama it is there and it is these white dudes who by the way you know the biggest terror
in the United States of America are right-wing white men I'm not just saying it I got a lot of
flack for saying it for basically repeating what the head of the FBI Christopher Ray said domestic
terror white dudes conservative and so why aren't we doing something about that why isn't that the
lead story every day why aren't we talking about white on white crime white on black crime this is
this should be criminal to this sort of behavior
we have freedom of speech but that's hate speech and we're not supposed to tolerate hate speech it is
it it is symbolic of the time that we're in in this country and in large part
I blame Donald Trump for it I don't blame him for the racism because that's already been there
I blame him for legitimizing it for platforming it for co-opting those people making him part of
making them feel comfortable by being part of his coalition so I blame Donald Trump
um because he has become the imprimatur for racist and for by the way if you're watching and you are
a poorly educated MAGA person that means imprimatur means that you are co-signing it or making it okay
or some people say imprimatur I say imprimatur just in case you don't know what it is Google it
it means that he is not only co-signing it that he is legitimizing it through his stature
I completely agree with you and it's also important to point out here that
um groups like the ADL that are supposed to be advocates against anti-Semitism let people like
Elon Musk off the hook while going after people like Mark Ruffalo who's standing up for universal
human rights so this is a real time in the country where we need rock solid moral clarity against all
forms of bigotry and anti-Semitism is really nasty and really disgusting and I want to remind
you that the vice president of the United States of America our little smoky-eyed sociopath refused
to condemn Republican Nazi group chats can I say something Jen I'm glad you reminded me of that I
wanted to say it when but before you responded is that and I and um I I say this to my Jewish friends
and my Jewish brothers and sisters when they uh tell me you know the left has become so anti-Semitic
um do I think that people who don't support what's happening in Gaza are necessarily anti-Semitic no I
don't think that they're not they're anti-Semitic I think that they don't believe that people should
be killed randomly and indiscriminately and children should be starved and I think that's
a legitimate position to have but I tried to remind them that of what we are talking about
now of the images that we just saw of the swastikas and all of uh you know the the anti-Semitic imagery
and um and and speech that comes and behavior that comes from the right and I think it's more
dangerous than anything than people being concerned about a war uh in Gaza and I just want them to
understand that because there's proportionality in everything that's more dangerous for me it's
that are you going to go to the polls to vote for a party that is fighting for democracy a party
that doesn't necessarily overall and it isn't
necessarily overall anti-Semitic or bigoted are you going to vote for the party that is that
endorses that bigotry by not calling it out and pretending that it's not happening within their
own party I think the Republicans in MAGA are more dangerous when it comes to anti-Semitism than the
left has ever been and can ever be at least you know from if you're looking at history at history
as a guide well and I think you know criticism of Israel is worthy
it is required right now I as an American citizen I want my government criticized I want everybody
in the world to see what Donald Trump is doing to see what his advisor Laura Loomer is doing when
she calls out Angie Nixon I want I want everyone to see what uh DHS is doing when they kill Renee
Good and Alex pretty and then call them domestic terrorists I want them to see that they are
arresting people without due process and it deserves criticism it deserves harsh
criticism and it should not be sand wash and it should not be excused and the criticism of that
is the best way to support me as an American and likewise what's going on in Israel right now uh
with the uh provocations and genocide and war crimes in Gaza it shocks the conscience they're
killing journalists they're killing children people are starving contrary to what Michelle
Bachman says it is the best thing truth
is the ultimate ultimate antiseptic we cannot not tell the truth Ben Gavir who works in the
Israeli government put out an AI video yesterday of uh Palestinians um on a carousel like they were
cows going to the slaughterhouse and this is this is really dark sadistic stuff and people of good
conscience of all face or no faith or of all skin color
there are a lot of fascists and right-wing populist forming all over the world right
now and those of us that want to keep everybody safe have to have an ethos that none of us are
free until all of us are free and so I'm not a religious person I'm an atheist but I feel morally
called to stand up for the little Palestinian kid that didn't choose to be a Palestinian
that watched their parents get killed their siblings be
these and it's just trying to find water and a meal and I feel a calling to stand up for that kid
that does not mean that I am anti-semitic quite to quite the contrary I want everyone to be safe
and nobody to fall prey to bigotry and bigotries that that that kill people it's just there's so
much crap that we're living with and all of these you know horrible news cycles I just we all need
to take a beat and realize like we all
have to fight for the weakest among us that's really the most heroic thing that we all can do
