MAGA is Losing Their Effing Minds

Donald Trump’s post-election press conference is portrayed as a bizarre, escapist moment, fixated on the ballroom’s construction and chandeliers rather than addressing the political fallout. This reflects a broader crisis within the Republican party, where internal feuds have intensified—especially between figures like Laura Loomer and Marjorie Taylor Green—fueling a toxic, public atmosphere of blame and conspiracy. The election results triggered widespread anxiety, with many conservatives expressing apocalyptic fears about cultural collapse, voter fraud, and the loss of democracy. Key figures such as Alex Jones and Carrie Lake amplified conspiracy theories, while others like Brennan Herrera made offensive or inappropriate statements, raising concerns about the suitability of some candidates for office. The absence of cohesive leadership or accountability signals a shift from party unity to factional warfare. Amid this chaos, the MAGA media landscape is marked by emotional volatility, personal attacks, and a retreat into symbolic narratives. A parallel promotional message about Crown Coins appears throughout, promoting a free bonus for new users with no purchase required, while emphasizing real prize wins. The overall tone underscores a fractured, emotionally charged political environment where trust in institutions has eroded and internal conflict dominates.

24 hours it's me sam stein managing at the book i'm with my man will summer who also has been uh on heavy rotation we hope you're not sick of us but there's just too much to discuss to not go live again uh the purpose of this was supposed to be about maga internet cope uh over what happened last night and we're going to get to that i promise you but as we were doing this donald trump spoke for the first time uh about what happened and he did it in the most surreal bizarre way that you could possibly imagine it seemed it seemed like we were in like like a surrealist painting i donald trump leaving the white house to go to the ballroom to stand uh amid construction workers as uh they put up the final beam of the top of the ballroom and they put up the final beam of the top of the ballroom and they put up the ceiling that's gonna like be able to handle drones and helicopters according to him and he kept talking about chandeliers and he was laying out specific rooms and talking about the kitchen and how you know you need to have the kitchen in a certain place you don't want to fall through and it was like i i was like almost dumbfounded by it well i mean it couldn't be funnier um you know to be clear you know sam you said you know we're going to talk about republicans uh coping here there's no coping going on i mean they're fighting and so so as all of this is happening as they're tearing into each other they're desperately looking to trump for some kind of explanation how are we going to move on he says we're going to the ballroom we're going to the one thing voters loved my ballroom uh and it there's so much trump stuff that often if you like kind of zoom in on anything it seems surreal but this one i this ballroom press conference it was so weird and he's so he's alone he's standing kind of off to the side he's just he just wants to focus on this ballroom and everyone keeps bugging him about the the blue tsunami well not just that there's like this awful feedback he's holding a handheld mic we're going to play a little bit of that it's holding a handheld mic and there's awful feedback throughout it so it's like this piercing sound that keeps coming up you're like oh man the the crowd is just construction workers so it's like kind of like silent as he's speaking he's outwardly deflated uh as he talks um but he's talking about the ballroom instead of everything else that's happening in the world and he keeps riffing about it and how great it is and he tells the same stories he told a million times and then he signs it we have the the video of him signing it we can put that uh he signs look him signing the ballroom love love this is the new peaceful trump that we're getting yeah this is the pivot who would be mad at me and there's like a there's like a little wind going through his wispy hair and he's out there and the flag's in the background and everyone's just like yo uh mr president big things are happening what are you doing uh and yeah i mean that was it so there is one moment in particular that i think summarizes this entire bizarre event which is they finally do get to ask him questions about what happened last night and just watch this is a bit of a long clip but just watch the emotional uh up and down the yo-yo that happens with trump as he's forced to answer questions about iran and then something happens in the background like the beam is set into place and you know they put the last screw in or whatever and and then he gets really excited he starts clapping like a seal uh and it happens twice and it's just the perfect microcosm of the moment we are in so let's watch that i can tell you that as far as that war is concerned i would have done nothing different we've totally broken their military their navy's gone their air force is gone their anti-aircraft is gone that's a dangerous job his mood is so much better he's like a kid with a tic-tac that's a dangerous job what well here's the interesting thing somebody will walk after we're gone they'll walk right across and pick up the tree and walk there aren't too many people can do that you need very good balance no do you know that they'll leave that tree well we're gone a guy will walk right in that room take it ron you said that the war was going to end oh that's sad well what did they know i didn't say that they said their nuclear weapons will be gone for sure and that's what happened with midnight hunt excited again happy all right you can end it there so yeah he reminds me of my kid like doing construction site stuff as with toys yeah you know there's another point where he's going to be doing construction site stuff with toys you're saying oh look they're putting the beam up and the cameraman keeps it on trump and trump goes you want to see the beam you know not meet and he goes ah you know what you're doing you know this new mellow trump he didn't call a camera man a lazy slob or whatever he normally calls people in the press corps um i mean he's as you have any clue there's this escapism i mean it's just incredible that like this the party got shattered last night and he gets up and he says remember the ballroom what what is he going to talk about i mean this is what brings him real joy and i think he needed like a little infusion of joy in his life this morning so looked around he's like oh man i can't go back to the reflecting pool i just did that well you know this is sort of a fundamental disagreement between the voters and the party last night was how much of the presidency should focus on the president's joy you know and obviously a lot of people felt it shouldn't i mean it already you know this this only happened you know 10 15 minutes ago now that we're recording we're seeing dissension among republicans even brylan hollyhand the sort of charlie kirk dupe who appeared last year he's saying sorry we just got like wrecked last night why are we talking about the ballroom like it already a lot of anger i have stay with me this is live tv hold on what's he getting do you remember this moment do you remember this moment remind me okay george w bush middle of iraq he's on the golf course and they're asking like mr president you know they're asking all these questions about how serious the iraq war is and how bad it's gone and he tell you we're gonna hunt down saddam we're gonna hunt them down and then he turns the camera he goes now watch this drive and then he goes and he hits a drive and it like haunted him that moment haunted him uh because it looks so detached it was just bush just doing golf things and things he liked to do um rather than focusing on the task at hand and uh he ended up not golfing after that because he thought it was so detached that is trump saying now watch them raise this beam now watch this beam now watch this beam watch this beam go up it's like get this is great man you know this is hours after jd stabbed him in the back by saying he was asked about that he was that go ahead explain well i was gonna say i mean you know jd stabbed him in the back with a statement saying you know it's all the fault of the war don jr said yeah jd's right who did the war i don't know i don't know it's trump so as you said yes he was asked about it and he said i would have done it again well so a couple things he was asked if he was told by jd that jd was going to send that tweet and trump never said yeah he did not i mean he was just like well you know i understood he felt that way that was like basically it so it kind of like not it's this morning i was like there's no way jd would have sent it without clearing it by trump now i don't know i don't know man it's uh pretty incredible and then he said he's not um he's not uh he wouldn't do anything differently on iran he said even though he uh gas prices went up because of iran he wouldn't do anything different on iran uh and he said you know they could they could have a nuke and they can knock out all cities the only the then he said the only thing that might survive that is this ballroom so he brought it back to the bottom again then he was asked about pete hegseth and um whether he would fire hegseth because of this and i and he said um no uh or at least he said some version of no uh he thinks hegseth doing a fine job and then finally uh just for housekeeping purposes uh he was asked if he's worried about impeachment and he said nah dems would be foolish to do that that would be a loser for them so that was the news um i don't i didn't pick up on anything other than that in terms of news value did you no i mean i i think what's going to happen here though is i mean if you're a republican you're already feeling like you got to distance yourself from trump after last night and you're looking at this and you're like this guy doesn't have a plan for the next two years or how we're gonna kind of change things up The chandeliers envision. Yeah, he said he said there's going to be chandeliers up there and they're going to look so good. I mean, it's unreal in terms of a response. And so I feel like Republicans now are going to realize, you know, we really got to make our own way. I mean, J.D.'s already trying to do it. He didn't wait 24 hours before saying, whoa, I don't know about this war stuff. I don't know who was behind that. Yeah, he was asked, when will the Iran war end? He said, whenever I want it to. All right, look, we're going to get to we're going to we're going to do a couple things. One is we're going to take a quick commercial break. After that, we're going to go through all of MAGA worlds and how they're handling this because it's not cope. You're right. It's like bloodthirst for each other. So we're going to get to that. But before we even go to the commercial break, this is kind of hot off the press internal news for you guys. We have a sale going. We have a sale going on right now. So we woke up feeling pretty, you know, good about how things had gone. And it was a moment that we felt like accountability is actually coming. We're talking about restoring democratic principles. But we also understood at that moment that this is kind of just the start, right? Like we have two years of this, at least, where we have to just kind of double down on what we're doing. And so we're going to be making investments to even further bolster the bulwark. We are going to be investing in accountability coverage and pro-democracy coverage and in building our bulwark community. I mean, I might need some hymns, weight loss, after last night. I ate a lot of carbs through the course of the night. But it was worth it for the people. All right, let's jump into it. I mean, there's just a potpourri of great characters here, but we're going to start with your girl. Laura Loomer. Yes. Now, look, Laura Loomer was a big hit on our live stream last night when she was saying things like, Get ready to learn Arabic. And America is dead. The 250 was a funeral. The one I think we have today is basically she says the living envy the dead. She says essentially old people, the biggest winners yesterday were the elderly. They don't have much time left anyway. And she puts it in such a funny way. They don't have much time left anyway, and they got to see America at its finest hour. Now America's over. If there's anyone I envy in America, it's the elderly. People in their 80s and 90s, they won't have to see the collapse of America. So, you know, she goes on from there. But, I mean, that is the mood. Oh, my God. Let me die, basically, is it, right? I wish I was going to die sooner. Are people trying to talk her off the ledge? I feel a little bit like that's kind of a cry for help. You know, she definitely has a tendency to go to a dark place. I mean, I think there have been these instances where it was like when she couldn't get a job or past Republican defeats where she would say, like, I've destroyed my life. I can't have a family because of my devotion to Donald Trump, all this stuff. So she's one who I think kind of puts the pathos, the emotions a little more out there than most. Yeah. I mean, you know, you would think you go through this cycle, these cycles enough that you sort of you don't go ping pong in between the extremes like that. but also you kind of need if you're going to be that type of poster uh you kind of need to live on the extreme so it makes sense that she she's at at that outer reach uh she is not the only one uh her foe uh marjorie taylor green who is clearly having the time of her life right now because she gets to say told you so uh she posts this let's put it up a benny johnson like ai art where she is the queen and loomer is crying the envious meltdown yeah uh so she writes good morning everyone except laura loomer an insane woman two-time congressional loser who has zero real life experience yet natalie harps about helped loomer become trump's crazy train late night advisor make her the press secretary make her chief of staff give laura something please entertain me and marjorie looks uh triumphant with her uh queen garbon um posting a picture you know it's too late i've already portrayed myself as the queen and you as the wailing laura loomer argument uh one they have too much fun with ai art uh mtg should be you know honestly she should be taking a victory lap yeah i mean the takeaway here really is that the you know because i think a lot of this is attributable to the iran war that you've had this israel critical segment um you know whether it's candace tucker carlson joe kent uh marjorie taylor green and as you know yeah victory lap is right i mean these people were saying this war is going to destroy the republican party and now you know boop it's gone a long long way there the only the only problem i have with mtg is she is not uh met up with jvl for the blooming onion that she promised she was in dc she was in dc for the election so that why did she well jvl is not in well that's true but she could she could have come and had a blooming onion with us i don't know she was in dc why didn't we have her coming she was dining at uh at joe's joe stone crab crab shack not joe stone crab with her new husband uh because they got engaged there so they were i thought they had fled the country or is that what loomer was saying yeah you know but but look who's gonna flee the country now yeah loomer see you loomer uh okay uh this is all sort of classic you know feuding in in the mega world but you know we knew that mtg uh and and laura loomer do not like each other there are other feuds that i'm just sort of like i i didn't know these things maybe these aren't feuds maybe there's new feuds i want to talk about david smith and jack posobic yeah let me set this up so dave smith is like a libertarian very anti-israel comic on the right uh and then jack posobic exists in this weird space where he's like so he's kind of his own blend of like establishment and kind of crazy guy all this stuff going on but basically on piers morgan's he collabed with the tp usa people that jack posobic hangs with and there was a big ugly fight last night as as it became clear that the republicans were in for a drubbing uh dave smith really turns his fire on jack posobic let's watch it maybe i can others that donald trump has had a huge victory in iran we've got a huge deal that's about to come historic win i mean no you guys i said the peace deal would have been victorious I said I supported your exact words were huge win for Donald Trump. You're literally twisting the words every single time. Yet the peace deal, if it had stuck, which was something I supported, which I think all of us here supported, was something that would have been a huge victory. Yes, after you lost the war, you supported the surrender. What difference does that make? And it kind of goes on and on and on. And I think it's interesting. Was that Nancy Mace next to him? It is Nancy Mace, yeah. Nancy. And it's during the election coverage there, and so suddenly you just have these two guys, Dave Smith saying basically like, you idiot, this is partly your fault. This is why we're going to lose. And what did Posobiec – did they just – Posobiec kept asking – I mean what's Posobiec's point here? He wanted the MOU and he didn't stick to it. He basically was saying – because Dave Smith is saying, well, you said there was a peace deal and it was going to be historic. historic. And then Posobiec said, well, if there had been a peace deal, it would have been historic. And then Piers Morgan said, the only peace deal I'm interested in tonight is between you two boys, you know, let's settle down. That's why Piers is the best. That's sort of like Elizabeth Holmes being like, yeah, my machine could work. Well, if it had worked, it would have been great. Yeah, it could work. I mean, it could work. It's just one example. I mean, the knives are out. People are tearing into each other. I think that's why Laura, because I mean, I think like the pro Israel people are really on the back foot after this. And so as we were saying, I mean, Marjorie's ascendant. And I think that's why Laura is like not even really bothering to fight with the anti Israel people. She's just like, what are the time to die? What are the pro Israel? Maybe it's in the doc, but like, I mean, I know we're gonna talk about Levin. So but like, is Shapiro out there? Like, what are they? Ben Shapiro just had to think that it was like, whoa, what a night. Oops. But, you know, to the Ben Shapiro point, on his show last night, Matt Walsh, who's always kind of been potentially leaving the Daily Wire in this process of disagreeing with Ben Shapiro. He was saying there was kind of this big fight. And he was like, look, I would rather let Iran have a nuclear weapon to hand my country over to the communists, which is what he seems like James Tallarico has. And so there is this, and Ben Shapiro obviously would not like that. And so I think we're seeing these rifts in MAGA media. And I think from our purposes, how fun to watch. Yeah, so we talked about May. And we talked about Mark Levin. And this definitely, it just kept, there's just side fights all over the place. Can we put up the Mace tweet? All right, here we go. So I'm going to try to go in reverse chronological order here. So Mace starts by saying, Mark Levin is a moron and heavily contributed to the devastating losses suffered last night by Republicans. Mark Levin responds, STFU, shut the fuck up. You washed up political loser. You're angry because you'll actually have to now work for a living. You're one of the most mentally unhinged POS to ever be in Congress. We lost last night for many reasons, including because of useless self-promoting, do nothings like you. Nancy Mace responds, in a civilized society, we'd have already put you on an ice floe and shoved it out into the middle passage. What? A lot of, a lot of like ruminations around death. Like, I mean, basically she's saying like, we need to kill you. They know that this is a public platform, right? Yeah. I mean, that they're adults, you know, it's getting rough when they're on like the fourth quote tweet where it's like, well, I'll tell you what I think. Why don't they, they should be, first of all, etiquette would be reply. We, you don't need to quote tweet. I guess if you want everyone to see how you're done, just, just reply though. We don't need, we can, it's easier to consume that way. But like, you know, these are adults, I think, uh, they're certainly of age and they're just like, you know, we're just like out there throwing as many haymakers, calling each other pieces of shit and wishing they die. And it's like, you, you wouldn't talk like this to anybody in real life. That's what Trudy does. Well, I don't know. Mark Levin, Nancy Mase. I mean, we saw the airport video, right? Oh, Nancy Mase. That's true. I think, and having listened to Mark Levin's show, I think these, these may be two exceptions to that. Can I, can I count them like kind of being intrigued by what Nancy Mase does next? Do we know? She's like inked up. She's going to finish the next sleeve, right? Is that what she said? Well, I'm just assuming here. I mean, you know, I mean, that's more of a hobby, but like, you know, she has a podcast now. I mean, she'll keep going. She's got a pod? Yeah. Oh yeah. You listened to it? Uh, I haven't listened to it in a while. She started it a few months ago. Okay. What were you watching last night while the returns came in? Yeah, I was watching, um, some of the Daily Wire stream, some of the Glenn Beck, um, the Rich Barris, the MAGA pollster who had kind of predicted this disaster, this disaster for Republicans. He had a lot of these Cassandra type figures on, um, and they were sort of toasting each other and saying, hold on, stop for a second. I want you to, I'm going to, I'm going to sit back and get my Celsius. Walk me through like chronologically how the night starts and how it ends. Oh, for me? Yeah, no, no, not, not watching these streams, MAGA media. Like, where do they start mentally and where do they end? Sure. So. Don't leave out any detail, please. Oh my gosh. All right. Good. Sit back. Um, so yeah, the initially people were feeling pretty good. Uh, despite all the polls, I mean, obviously they've seen polling misses before. Uh, there was a lot of focus, you know, as far as the late afternoon goes, there was, uh, I would say an outsized focus on Guam where Republicans flipped the, the governor's race there. Um, any Johnson put out a video that was kind of over like some hip hop beats, uh, where he was just like Democrats said they were gonna take it all, but we just took Guam. Uh, and then there was a lot of focus as well on like the, the vote in Florida, not taking into account the fact that Byron Donald's barely hanging on was not a great sign cuz there were still 49 other states to go. Uh, so they, they were really like locked in there. Um, and you know, he had Scott Pressler on, uh, Benny, Benny had Scott Pressler on and they were just sort of ha ha ha. Like, you know, we'd done it again. We got the voters to the polls. Um, and then really things started to sour. I mean, I, I, I tuned back in around eight, uh, and you know, people were, were seeing it really fall apart. And, and, you know, particularly that kind of eight to nine period is really when it became clear that, that they were looking at a long night. And as it started, and of course around nine, nine 30 is when we see that Jack Smith or Jack Posobiec, Dave Smith thing where, you, you know, that is what the mood was really for the rest of the night. And then as it starts really settling in and they have to sort of take stock of how bad the damage is. Yeah. There's a lot of, um, you know, Glenn Beck was saying, well, look, you know, the temple in Jerusalem was destroyed a couple times. And so we, you know, they, they can't, no, I'm not kidding. And so he's like, look, juice came back from that. Like we can come back from this. Um, Benny Johnson opened his show this morning. He was just like, look, I have a family crisis on the throne and I'm sober. You know what I mean? That, that is a, that is what he said. And so he said, you know, things can't be that aren't that bad, but I mean, these guys, they're, they're going through it in a lot of ways and, you know, bringing it back, kind of tying this all with the ballroom we have historically seen, I mean, these MAGA factions, they hate each other so much and they're tearing into each other, but you know, we've had Trump to kind of unify people and to say what count what's in and out of the party and, and have some kind of disciplinary effect over the past year with the Epstein stuff and the war Charlie Kirk's assassination, that effect has, has loosened and we've seen a lot more fighting, but now that Trump is hanging around the ballroom and just has no, you know, willingness to say, to, you know, discipline the party or keep people on message, I think it's just going to be, it's a war of all against all. I mean, it, it, it's really going to get crazy. Yeah. It's like, why do you have to rally around? Ain't going to, it's not going to be the ballroom. I'll tell you that. And they don't give a, Trump is the only one who gives a shit about the ballroom. They pretend like they care. Like, well, who do you rally around? Yeah. I mean, you know, the predictions, they're feeling like the world is ending. I saw this Ken Paxton advisor who was a big promoter of the Tallaricos in an insane asylum theory, which by the way, makes Tallarico's victory last night, all the more impressive that he was locked up a few weeks ago, two weeks in a mental institution in the wrong state. And he still managed to pull that one out. That's incredible. And so she was saying, she was like, our churches are going to be destroyed. You know, Christianity is over in Texas now famously, even in blue States, you're allowed to be a Christian and have a church. Uh, but I mean, they are, it's apocalyptic. Do they legitimately think like everyone's going to get forced trans surgeries and be required to, you know, learn Arabic and become furries and shit? You know, I think there's some truth to that. I mean, I think particularly in Texas, I, I think it feels really like the end of the world. I mean, they're just not used to having any kind of, you know, democratic party there for the most part. And so, um, you know, yeah, I mean, it's, but, but really all over the place, I mean, they are, they're feeling awful and they're gonna, the only way to claw back to, you know, get ready for 20, 28 in any way they, as they see it as to sort of eliminate their rival factions. winning never sounded so good. Um, but Gunther, this goes in the sort of like we flipped Guam category, but he, he, he tweeted, tweeted, I forget who it was, Wyoming or Idaho. I think it was Wyoming. He's like, yeah, I didn't even know who the governor is, but he's like, we held on to Wyoming and this cowboy hat, a man with a cowboy hat will be in the governor's mansion of Wyoming. And that's sort of like, it seems like a pretty predictable. Place for a man with a cowboy had to be, uh, yeah, he said, he said, he said, you know, the liberals are crying as though they, they, they, Wyoming was their number one target. We held Wyoming congrats, man. He did it. Uh, Alex Jones. Yeah, let's do it. Alex Jones. He's starting to think, you know, look, Alex Jones, I think had lost a lot of credibility with his audience by how much he had hewn to Trump, even in the second administration, as Trump did all these things that, you know, for a guy who hates black helicopters, like Alex Jones or the government overreach, suddenly he says, yeah, you know, I think I sh I should be, uh, you know, out shooting people. streets so a lot of people he had lost one of his protégés owen schroyer people were unhappy um and now alex jones he's saying was i wrong the whole time this is just a couple days after alex jones cut his video in the car blaring about iran nuclear war we're on the verge of nuclear war with iran trump's gonna do a do a strike yeah do we have the alex jones video there let's get the alex jones video please he's a democrat i'm gonna say it right now i have tried to salvage trump i've not been sure i invested so much maybe i was blind to it i think he's the ultimate democrat sleeper cell and he works for him and he was a democrat before i'm gonna say it right now i'm 100 at war with trump i've already been pissed at him but i don't ever say something he's not that retarded he did this on purpose wow this is like the cousin of the other people that failed him it's like he's so diabolically spooked smart yes he was working for chuck schumer this whole time i mean it is i can't imagine what else he's so much deeper than i thought oh i've invested so much time in trump you know i don't know what that would even look like but it you know we've had these incidents before repeated it's like oh alex jones breaks with trump but that is really saying he's a secret democratic sleeper agent you know i i think it's like far beyond anything he's said in the past yeah no uh but it's always like building a conspiracy on top of the conspiracy right like you've talked about this a million times like you know trump couldn't expose the epstein files because there's someone controlling him or in this case it's like well you know the democrats are controlling trump and that's why he's doing this and so um we gotta talk about carrie lake because so i haven't basically the results were so lopsided uh last night there really wasn't a window for uh the usual suspects to claim like shenanigans and that to say oh you know there's fraudulent votes happening all over the place and they're cheating and all these mail ballots and you know the venezuelan computer programmers and the italian satellites and blah blah blah and we know that michael and dell visited the white house and we were all kind of worried about this stuff because they were dispatching fbi agents they were telling california to segregate their ballots they said they might not you know see uh mary patola if she wins anyways it was so big that there was virtually no discussion that i could tell online about the dems rigged this stuff except carrie lake yeah i mean you know when she ran for senate i remember this where it was sort of like you know she got beat and then trump didn't even give her the dignity of saying her race was stolen really into you know maybe he said it once or twice but he wasn't going to commit resources to it or anything he just said you know she was saying hi you know i got robbed just kind of moved on they didn't care maybe sorry carrie you know maybe you got defrauded whatever um and in this case yeah i mean she's saying you know they're stealing it the fraud stuff the idea of a voter fraud a voter fraud has been really low here i mean and i think that really reveals what a cynical ploy it is this idea that you know we're only going to say it's voter fraud if we think we have a decent chance of stealing the election back for ourselves you know we're not look we don't really care if it's one or two senate seats because democrats are still going to control the senate uh so let's pull up some of carrie's tweets here because there's like no one else is doing this let's get the one where she's responding to stephen chung if we can all right so stephen chung president's comms director says donald j trump is the president of the united states still your president and again this is like the the white house sanctioned messaging because they put out some graphic still your president you know whatever and like poor gary reduced to responding to stephen in the replies a lot of these elections don't make sense stephen can we work on election reform like she's just not even getting it on and she's got to respond to stephen chung to like a on twitter like an underling you know this isn't even like she's tweeting it like jd vance or something oh my god that wasn't the only one she had she kept barking about election fraud and it's just like yo you need to that's a six-year-old storyline carrie move on now now it's trump's got to be a nice guy yeah um okay i want to put up well before we get to uh the couple races that you and i uh obsessed over and the results of them is there any other points here there's a couple other tweets in the in the stock that you flagged but i haven't turned to like pressler or joey manorino and mark levine is there anything else you want to discuss or not no i i think that sums it up i mean it's the knives are out on the right and um you know fortunately it's all public for us to look at yeah that's the best part about it so um a couple characters that we we were following they're congressional candidates um anthony constantino uh up in new york 21. let's start let's put them aside for a little bit because all under that brennan herrera uh the the ak guy down in texas gun nut uh who i hate saying it but he didn't say well you say it oh you're gonna make me say it okay yeah he called children come trophies yeah among other things yeah he talked about the supplements that he'd take to make his ejaculate like healthier and thicker and whatever this guy was clearly not meant for congress um and he won't go there because he lost in a very trumpy district um he did concede in a very ungracious manner uh and then he kind of posted this random thing that suggested that he may have had a mole on his opponent's campaign yeah he posted this picture that was you know a picture of uh some guy with his opponent and saying you know oh i had a man on the inside it's a little unclear what what happened there um it kind of seems like the thing you might do if you just got embarrassed in a race and wanted to look smart somehow but it's like you know if he did have you know a friend of his working as a volunteer on the campaign or something you know that's worse buddy you still lost you know maybe you broke the law yeah he says oh yeah one last thing one of the people we had inside the kitty for congress campaign might be someone you'd recognize and i assume this is some friend of his um you know i do not recognize this person for what it's worth so uh yeah i mean i i'm not like a huge listener to the ak guy podcast um you know his his consolation or his his concession tweet was also like he found the least flattering picture of his opponent that he could possibly find where he said you know i hope you know i hope she's gonna do a good job but you know i doubt it what a pill right i had a guy on the inside this i had a guy on the inside this entire time and i still lost in this really heavily republican district i mean between herrera and constantino i mean the the reason when we when our colleague brendan here started really focusing on these guys it it wasn't like you know this is a battleground district or something it was more like isn't it crazy that these guys are guaranteed to be going to congress and in in brendan herrera's case i mean it was such a big night last night for democrats that he's not i know and that was my mindset this entire time when we're following was like okay like this is these are going to be elected officials like this guy who is just grotesque uh is going to actually represent texas and this guy anthony constantino who is a doofus is going to represent new york well in constantino's case uh decision desk has projected that he will win uh u.s house 21 uh that was a very trumpy very very trumpy district this is at least stefano nick's old district um folks may remember jd vance was dispatched there friday to like shore things up and will and i talked about it mega monday because the lead article in the wall street journal was a lead anecdote of a lead article in the wall street journal was roger stone who's uh anthony constantino mentor calling up the white house been we need help we need help send the vice president up here we got to get this guy across the finish line well he got him across the finish line it was very close much closer than it should have been uh but roger stone was not appreciative will of our story so there you go that's you and me with him in the middle two who knew nothing who know nothing whatsoever about politics running their mouth it's a new day there are consequences for so-called reporters who talk classic roger stone empty threat i mean all we were doing was talking about the wall street journal article literally read the journal we literally you can just hear that in that roger stone kind of ineffective growl there are consequences for so-called reporters you know roger's an interesting character obviously goes back to the watergate days but back in like 2012 when he was a big libertarian and he was pushing i think uh that guy from new mexico who ran as a libertarian do you remember that name the guy he's like ex-governor in new mexico he's like big into skiing and hiking and stuff whatever the man roger and i roger took me out for coffee and we're sitting right across we're sitting at 1700 pennsylvania avenue which is where the huffpost offices were and he and i are just sitting outside he's in his seersucker suit and we're just talking about the punk johnson or something something johnson and uh libertarian politics in the future republican party and he looks over and across the street and he just points up he's like oh yeah that's where the committee to re-elect the president's offices were and i was like oh my god we're like literally a hundred feet from where he tried where he like orchestra helped orchestrate watergate that's crazy you know i had a thought about roger stone i mean he's like left in the republican party now because everyone else got wiped out he saved his guy he saved yeah you know maybe we should watch out because he's going to be the big man in dc gary johnson is the guy sorry that came to me yeah roger rogers got some uh got some you know he gets his flowers for getting his guy across the finish line when no one else could um okay well i think that's enough i mean you need to go write up a newsletter so i've taken a false flag tomorrow morning folks it's going to have all these details if you love the schadenfreude if you love these people who are inexplicably predicting or republicans would have 54 55 seats uh last night and then their dreams falling apart you know you'll love this newsletter it's gonna be great and as a reminder folks we got this flash sale going on so you can get will's newsletter now for 20 off so go to the Summary:
