We're in the paint style we are recording Wednesday, even just due to being different times. We were to get to go to the night, just going on play. Test match has started and so we are. And World Cup down as well this week. You know, it's from your neck or the woods. Yeah, the pitpone is in action. You're right. But you're right about that, Sal. I mean, people don't need to know the details. I'm away in Dublin for 36 hours of work. But at one stage, I had three devices on in my hotel room. I was watching a very well-cooked football portrait. I was watching the test match and I was keeping a quick eye as well on the women's T20. You know, I watched more sport when I'm away. I do it on. Well, most of it might work on. Absolutely. Absolutely. Cool. Now, lots to discuss. Where do you want to begin in terms of week six? I've got a feeling I know where you might want to begin. But I'll roll it over to you. Yeah, I'm conscious that it's very easy for you and I to speak about North London and Twickenham. But I think this game is one of those games that people. People in Valle would remember for a long time. But for those who don't know, Twickenham back at first. And I don't think it was the easiest track in the world to bat on. I mean, it's. Whether I's been a bit inclement over the last few weeks. But I also don't think it was a 78-odd out track. And yet that's what Twickenham ended up with. And it was also bits going on. I mean, he mentioned Shikumar. He got hit on the foot and so we had to retire. And he got horribly bloody big toe. So it was just a messy. Literally a messy innings. And when you're on 78, you don't really think that you've got much chance. But there are some players around and you know, we're standing like stuck record a bit. If you're going to get anything out of a certain game, they are going to somehow manufacture it for you. And we've seen it before. Carlos Nunes took the ball himself. And it didn't initially look like it was going to be that sort of day. The check was pushed with 35 for one. Chasing 78. And then there were 35 for five. Because Carlos just started causing total mayhem. Wobbling it around. LBWs in the game going for the stumps. And then everything started to wobble for the push. They did manage to get it back to. There was 61 for eight at one stage. So I mean, who's the favourites there? So I don't really know, you know, I guess we are, are we? Old and made. Yeah, at that point, old and made you the favourites. Yeah. But then it was not 76 for eight in the. No. And the thing that the bush then rally that they managed to sort of e-camp more runs. Carlos takes another wicket. And but I'm following this a tee during the during my game. So, you know, we're all sort of, you know, round the phones trying to work out what's going on next. And then Olli White manages to throw one up. The ball gets it to. To Rashmalah Hazarda, who's a cover. He takes the character and Twitter one by one run. But season change in type of performance. Because of course that swing is from all points to 12 points. And that means, you know, to it. And I'm off the bottom. I hit the bottom two. Feeling a bit better about themselves. It's a huge win. And again, we know we speak about Carlos. And it's incredible. Okay, we're going to see the cricket. Just to think he kept last week. Didn't he, Dan? He did. Yeah. So, I mean, it wasn't in any form of cricket. He kept one week in the late week. We've had to take seven wickets in the game. So he doesn't really want to do either. No, of course. Back to the pool. Yeah, he's back to the pool. So, um, give him some issues in the past. And I'm sure, Saturday, he was quite a sore man having to get a revolving 12. I was on the bounce, but still, you know, the win makes it more easy to us. I suppose we're a cover. As I said, you know, you said you had your guys at T. Carried around the phone, checking. I was at home. We actually finished by then. So we had two 11s at home. And then we had a meeting guys all sort of at their finals trial. You know, the game and disbelief. It was one point when I saw. Situation that pushed her in and then. As I said. It was a fantastic minister of game of cricket, which if you're a neutral. It's great for you in. If you're a bush, I will see. The day you want to forget. And if it's too clear, then. The day you want to remember. Yeah, long time. You don't have many wins like that. You know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you remember that two for the rest of the game. You know, you know, you know, you remember that two for the rest of the game. You know, did it said. You gave the game a bit of way there. So you finished at Horns. And bear in mind, we were talking 78 to 77. So quick game of Horns is well. Yes. Horns. Yes. Horns. He came out for two seconds, ealing. As mentioned, it was a really finishing. You had a low scoring game. We had similar but slightly different outcome here. On to the ball that either for 81 wicked sort of show again. There are attacks been very impressive this season. They seem models do a lot of damage up top. And then this finisher will come and lays on the back. Patrick Morgan is really ball wall to season. Very sort of steady, very hard to get away. Very disciplined in what he does with the ball. He's a kind of captain's dreamer. I mean, I would say to Harry Coulomb could just set a field. And he just, he just bulged up. He'll just start, you know, like once that migratives, just metronomic, same line, same areas, forcing eating bats, hit shots where they do want to hit shots. We should go to the wickets. The wicket wasn't a bad way at all. He's nowhere there again. Like you say, wish where you look at and think, well, it must have been all sorts of it. It wasn't really. It was just, it was just slightly, I would say. Obviously we had some rain during the week. So the outfit was a little bit slow, but the wickets have really been had the massive input. They could have due to the rain. However, it was not a bad cricket wicket at all. Any way it shaped reform. I think just the halls just have a lot of deep practice. Obviously, then, in the M.O. Lenny, who's having a great season again, he came on in. Actually, his over was quite good. So we took two and one over and three, like with your Trump powers. He and his captain and sort of like the Italian man. To get him out early was a real blow for Ealing and, or see a positive for Hornsey. They just kept chipping away. I mean, couple of not the best shots towards the end of the innings. But yeah, for your plate of Hornsey. And then when they're basking, I mean, 81 for four. There was a cruise at one point. Tom White and Josh Haine, that a good stand. I think I had it on 50 odd. So then sort of Josh got out to it with loose shot. A lot of wickets fell after that. Got a little bit, you know, interested. But it was always ever really in doubt. And he was a one by a few, sort of, and called past three, 10 past three. Yeah. So that puts Ealing and Hornsey in joint setting place, both on 43 points. And I think Hornsey will be very happy with that. But Ealing is still very much at the right end of the table. Just had a hiccup along the way. Talking about wickets there. I think that's quite interesting as well. And this is another issue for another day. But I often hear people talk about good wickets. And it becomes clear to me that they have very different understandings of what good wickets are. I've certainly no people who think that 320 versus 310 is a good wicket. And I said, well, I'm not sure it is if you're a bowler. And I think sometimes bowlers just, they have the wood on batsmen. They're just having a better day. And you can have a perfectly good wicket with very few runs if bowlers are bowling well. Yeah. And nothingnessy. Beautiful club cricket really. You don't really sort of play on sort of first class flat tracks. Every day, the week, day, every weekend, you want to have a look at where you are from, a test. It does get bowlers something to look to do and bass after a really good. And you know, we've got young players coming into club cricket and both sort of start a meeting. Especially do you have, you know, fantastic or use set up. And these guys are playing with Saturday. They're two for young lad, so you're playing. You know, they're so used to playing on good school with gets and good sort of counting with get. It's a real test for them and I think, you know, they help you get better in the long run really. Yep. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense to me. So feeling in order to join second, telling you must still be top on. They are the 12 points clear now. And they, well, good win against bottom of the table North mid. I still can't quite get used to saying that. So bottom of the table North mid. Yes, six weeks in. Still relatively early date and you're throwing season one. But. Well, third. As you mentioned, yeah, they are bottom and it seems like Southside wicket wasn't sort of run fest. You may expect at 10 and 10, 10 and scored 2 and 5 and it took a while to get there. I think it was 60 hours may have been the case. So it just goes to show us a bit of a grind really for them to eke out their toe tool. Ed Pollock who's, you know, retired from the first class game. It's taken to club cricket fairly easily. In the year 4767 as expected, it's been dominated North Mid attack. Where we took five, but then 10 and so also got a really good spin attack. Neil Boater, Bald Ossman, you know, he came into interaction and he took five, 24 and North and all that 1113. So the alarm bells, not for blossom in other set, nothing but there was a must be having discussions about how can they improve and get kick starts to this season. Yeah, I think that's right because I mean, you're right. North Mid or on 15, you've got stand more on 16, Sheppard's Bush on 18, Twicken and Finch on 23. I mean, it's not as if they're a drift. But sooner or later, they're going to have to win a couple of games. And you think they've got the resources to be able to do that, but they're not doing it at the moment. Stand more meanwhile, well, they didn't win, but they did get enough points to keep themselves out of 10th spot because they got a winning draw in a bit of a run fest against Richmond. Yeah, all the other games seem to be sort of more bubble dominated. It's one of definitely more batter dominated. Stand on bass and first 294 for six grind cleared off to 64 hours. Actually, sorry, I went to my Richmond, sorry about it for its policies. Richmond back for us 294 for six. Interesting enough, if you look at the card, the top five all got into the 14th, but no, no, no, she's like, so I didn't got anything over 50. But again, if you've got guys doing that, it gives you the basis of setting the total and they did that on Saturday. Aaron, so on to the 77 down the school down, OJ 55 stand more. However, Helmut and reached the four point target and they've been to seven three for six to say this was we now are into the time format. Over eight penalties would apply and there's more potentially something happening there because I think they came from this guy later clock. So I'm not sure what I mean, they may have been better stopper years or something that took place, which can allow forever, you know, just be aware sides on fire. Will be bringing into play the over eight penalties. So you do need to think about your over rates, but yeah, this was a late for Michael, Bob Pederson and Johnny Singer. That is a fair call, actually, I forgot about that. The over eight penalties that they, you know, they do matter, I don't know. And I think there might be a warning or maybe two warnings before you get the right points. I think it's one down, but I mean, yeah, yes, yeah, that's that's interesting. And last game in the preem Finchley play Craig Jen and Finchley mid table Craig Jen fourth. And you know, this sounds like they're roughly similar sort of place in the league, but Craig Jen definitely, well, it's definitely better on the day, day, day, day, they lost a few records on the way, but got there relatively safely. This was actually really because I finished the party I went to North London, we finished sort of by a reasonable time. So they had sort of Harrison Merritt and North London guys watching the end of the game. And it was actually really finished towards end of the game at one point, but I'd be an easy way for Craig Jen, Craig Jen. I remember checking in the real kinds of things. Finchley went out for one, four, three, so it was real struggle for those guys to sort of score runs. Practiced it, but tell back in the first 11, this is a real effort down here, you know, it's a scene, Boulder, 24 overs, five for 28. Just got to show our heart, it was score runs on that on that on that wicked. Even the Suzer who is the O'Recyde for Finchley's seeds and scored 45. Cratchin' comfortable down, 95 for two at one point, and I kind of would nester at that point to get a score of 100. I think him, you know, I just came from that Dustin now, really. However, Seb Profesor Hatchit really brought his side back into the game, so they went from 95 for two, I think, to 104, six almost, and it was a real sort of a, in the game, it was definitely in the balance at one point. But Fair Play 2, Cratchin' Skip by Tower of Poseid really stood up strong and had a great start to the season, carrying it on. But this sort of rule got gritty digging in in the face, some really good scene, Boulder's one of Seb. He scored 61, and despite him actually being out towards the end, more in all shades scored 24 and then giving Cratchin' a really important free wicket win, but in a real kind of, a traditional game in terms of, um, with the bats towards the end, and the bowl, and the bowlers. Yeah, well as you say, 143 runs 63 overs. I mean, that does tell you that it's hard to score. But, you know, some games are like that, that's the way it goes. Look in head to week seven, always five interesting fixtures. You know, the Premier League throws up interesting fixtures every week, but it did catch my bottom two play, so that Stanmore play, um, North Middlesex. And I think both will be very keen to come all, well, I think both of them want to lose, for sure, but if you can get 10 or even 12 points, the season begins to look a bit different, and that's, um, that's at North Middlesex, so that might be one to keep an eye on. If you move to the one, well, we're not in possession, Terri. But if you move to the one, well, we're not in possession, Terri. Terri. Yes, as we said before, and your third of the season gone, but Harrow are looking good, and they were emphatic. Again, this week against Wiccom House, weren't they? Yeah, as we mentioned, we're probably North Middlesex, but however, you have to sit up and notice what Harrow is doing at the moment. That ten and ten just keep winning and saying applies at the Harrow. And it's the man who did it with his victories, damage is impressive. They're ruthless. They're not inching home by one or two runs, or at nine to eight with your stand. They are crushing sides, and sadly, another good example. Wiccom House, it's called Cruled to 195 for 8 or 55, where that kind of thing is saying 55 runs. And the second is completely different affair. There's no other way than to play on a different Wiccom here. Rishabt True B and Panthas and the Wigis are seeing both really got into which one at the tax. Banking or other pace really. And nine Wiccom, we're here for the guys. Juby's, Cuisine's, Tannel's, Cid's, 106, not out. And Panthas, who was at Middlesex, called 33 not out. So, you know, I noticed, I was talking to actually, I did a Raw Starlust game Sunday in the Game of the Empire. And he was saying that, you know, they're just as you expect. They're a really good atmosphere. Moms of club, the players are really going well. But however, they're determined to get Harrow into the preemptive first time ever. And I think it's always refreshing when you have new clubs into an impromptu division. You know, they may not stay for long, who knows. But, you know, I've had it in the past. We've had to have a high-gate. And I've balanced it being their act to know, if that sort of times there. - Indian gym. - Indian gym, exactly. So, it's great when these sorts of situations are going. And I'm really hoping Harrow can be that club we did at the season. You know, the sides are all positive. As I said, the ball is solid. You know, they're different stretches. Side to ball the sides out. And then when it comes to the bout, they've got guys who just play with no fear. They just played. It's a really attacking brand and cricket. Which just puts sides on the back for me to ask and question what he would do next. And he's also just depthing their side. There's guys down here who are already better to season. It's pretty casual. You can't wait to go and have a bad as well. But because he's able to do so well up top, he's just sitting there watching the game for half the game, half the time. So, you know, as I said, they just at the minute really polished. - You know, they are. - They are. You know, and the question may with a bin, how they adapt to the time format. Or, sadly, it just shows you no problem at all. Not the issue. In the end, you score more runs at the opposite. You're about second, or you just ball them out. Exactly. And again, with the ball, they do have a decent spin attack. So I can imagine being really positive. Getting free, I was really sort of quickly. A decent rate of index. So, okay. We're going to now have the chase that way. But I really. Yeah. And also, yeah, I don't think you actually said about 1-9-8 of 26. Yeah. They aren't really all not hanging around. That is for some reason. Exactly. Impressive stuff. East Goat are continuing to try and, you know, hold on to Harrow. They are a positive experience. And so they did well against Hampstead. They couldn't quite win. So they just did to 11 points behind Harrow. Almost still in a good place, right? Yeah. We first trade here and we're forced by a resilient Hampstead side there. But, big run. Is that a bit of a quite start to division one life? However, however, he definitely turned up on Saturday. He scored 77. And Dan traveling. So, four schools from 15. So, the Traverse to Cleveland 283 for six. Then, big run to the New Royal. It paid the bonuses to 4 for 69. But, Mabasha, saying, who's, you know, prime player, he's captain Hampstead for years. And, probably a prime for a long time as well. He really was the sort of fall in the East Goat attack. Simply fall not out. Hampstead actually worth 56 for six at one point. But they made sure recovered to 1-6-7. So, 1-6-7 for seven. Mainly thanks to, as I said, the New Orleans film, Basha, who really sort of stood strong against whatever he's focused for at them. So, you know, the Hampstead actually thought I thought would be up there at the start of the season to find a laugh. Life a little bit tricky to see. Then, the second time round, in division one. So, East Goat will be sort of playing as an employee. You know, you take the premise side from last year. Almost who, you know, don't really well. And sort of, you know, we're trying to again dominate it, really. Just for that as well. We did a bit of a bit of a bit of a tackle, scored 51 as well. So, him scoring that really helped Hampstead, so, trying that at the draw. Yeah, although it if you put it like that I wasn't quite aware that hamster But 56 for six chasing two eight three for six if you're east coat you are thinking yeah, it's well points up for grabs I but it just shows how far they've come as well worth remembering how are on east coat where were they last year? Well, both two's in two but just as well. I mean on how are quickly it's in the table there 25 point in a short place side Already after six after six weeks. I mean, I think as we go down to the divisions, you do see there's fewer and fewer runs scored actually, so I get it, the weather's been a bit patchy, Grant's been really going to struggle to get time into wicket preparation, so I don't, I'm not at all surprised to see that we had a series of quite low scores. It may well not be relevant in Howard Tann case, but in other places where the pitch is they're just much more open, it's going to get harder to score runs. Another low scoring contest actually involves second place K plus, they'd be SKLPC, I say low scoring contest, SKLPC got 70, and K plus got 71 for one, so certainly, it was tough for one side to back there. You might actually put Tell four for 16, the K plus, Diven Katani, the only one to get going for SKLPC with 32.
