What's up, everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Rhea and Fred, giving you that Friday energy on a Friday. Happy Friday, everybody. Happy Friday. It's Friday, and we're going into your birthday weekend. Yes, yes. My birthday is this Sunday. It is on Sunday. You will be 29. I will be turning 29. How do you feel about it? Great. How are you feeling about this birthday? Honestly, I feel very excited. First of all, thank you guys so much. Thank you so much for the surprise. I truly wasn't expecting it, and that's not a joke. I know I walked in here and was like, oh, my God, what a surprise. It really did feel like a surprise. Well, a Sunday birthday is funky because it's like, well, we kind of had a scramble because we had some predetermined Monday when we were like, oh, I think we were debating if we were going to record over Zoom or in the studio. We also might be traveling. We could be traveling. We don't know. We don't know. So, like, all of a sudden, we were kind of like, oh. And it's got we got to go before. Oh, well, you know, thank you guys so much. We're good. We're we're we got we got some balloons in here. You can't see them, but they're here. Yes, they're here. And they're beautiful. Butterflies, cupcakes. Yeah. Lightning bolts, diamonds, all the things. All your favorite things. Describe me. Cake. Cake. Noah got me nerds. Got me clusters. Yeah. Strawberry. Sarah with the child covered strawberries. I know she went to Carlos in Hoboken. I know Carlos when I see it. But some good stuff. Yeah. Some great stuff. So thank you guys so much. I seriously wasn't. Oh, you're so welcome. What's on the birthday agenda? Oh, good question. So Friday, my family is going to come to Jersey. They're coming. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. OK. So they say. No, they're coming. But like, you know, it could be for an hour. They're coming earlier than I had planned because my dad wants to be the traffic. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So I thought they. So I thought they were coming like for, you know, like, yeah, dinner. And I think we need to, like, make T-shirts that say, like, you got we got to be the traffic. You don't understand. Yeah. I'm going to get into this. Why? Yeah. There's not that many topics anyway. Yeah. Yeah. So I thought they were coming for, like, dinner. Sorry not to cut you off before you get into it. But this is, like, my favorite thing to talk about. And I don't know if it's going to be like we keep talking about it. No, it's so ridiculous. But it actually, like, is so entertaining. Yeah. It's entertaining to me. OK, so continue. It's so utterly ridiculous. And I don't even care if they hear this because my dad knows that I got mad at him yesterday. Yeah. Because so they're supposed to come over for a dinner and cake, whatever. So I'm picturing, like, you know, we don't have to work tomorrow, but Matt has to work tomorrow. So, like, you know, I'm picturing a later evening. I wanted to do, like, a game. Happy hour. Happy hour into dinner, cake. I wanted to do, like, a game night. Like, I have games set up at my apartment. Like, just chill. Fun. Fun family vibes. You know. So I call my parents on, I think it was Monday or Tuesday, and I'm like, all right, what time do you guys plan on getting here on Friday so I can be prepared? My dad's like, we're going to leave Long Island around 12. I'm like. Noon. Yeah, noon. OK, so you're going to get to my apartment around 1.30? Yeah. 1, 1.30, 2 o'clock? Middle of the day. Middle of the day. Yeah. Like, I got to. Middle of the day. I had errands to run. Yeah. And, you know, I wanted to, like, set up. Yeah, middle of the day. OK, he's like, listen. This is what he says to me. Listen, I don't care if we sit around and do shit. I'm beating the traffic. I said, OK, well, that's probably what's going to happen. We're probably going to sit around until, like, 5, 5.30. Then we'll have a drink. Then we'll have food. I was going to cook. I said, fuck that. Because Matt said to me. Oh, he's trying to beat the traffic to get to you. To get to me. He's trying to beat the traffic. But then wait. So I originally told Matt that I wanted to cook for my family. And he said, Ria, it's your birthday, though. Why would you cook? And I said, well, I really love it. And I think you should do the things that you love for your birthday. And he was like, OK. But just, like, remember, you know, your family doesn't really love food in the way that you do. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I said, that's a great point. Good point. Why the fuck am I going to do that? So we then switched. And I'm, listen, all said with love. But my family always says to me that I live to eat. Yeah. Yeah, and that's true. Yeah. Yeah. And whatever. We went through this. Sorry. I love food. I love cooking for people. Whatever. They don't love food in the way that I do. So he was like, just, you know, just think about it. And I thought about it. And I said, you're absolutely correct. We're going to cater this shit. I am not going through this. Yeah. Good call. Good call. So then we were talking about catering. And then now in my head, I'm like, OK, well, they're going to get here early. Now I'm like, oh, my God, I have to entertain them in my apartment all day, all night. And I'm getting nervous. I'm getting nervous about it. Because he's got to be worried about the traffic leaving your apartment as well. OK. So then I think about it. I'm like, all right, well, if they're going to get to me around 132 or whatever time they get to me, why don't we go to dinner nearby the apartment to split up the time and then come back for cake at the apartment and then do drinks and games, whatever. So I call my dad. I'm like, hey, this restaurant that I love has an opening for an early. Dinner slot, because I know they love an early dinner. Yeah. At like 530. And I have two nephews coming. So I know what it whatever. Right. The timing. So I'm like 530. They have an opening for this amount of people. Why don't we go do that? Was it walking distance? No, we're going to have to drive. OK, so you're telling me we're going to have to take the car out twice. Yes, dad. We're going to have to take the car, the car out twice. Well, is there parking? Yes, there's parking near the restaurant. OK, well, you know what it's like when there's kids. I said, yes, I'm aware. But can they take the kids in and out of the car one extra time? Or is that a whole? You know, you don't understand what it's like with these kids. I'm like, OK, OK. I said, all right. He goes, and I don't understand. Why do we have to go back to your apartment for cake? Why can't we just do cake at the restaurant so I can leave from the restaurant? I said, what is the big rush to get home? What is the big rush to get home to sit on the couch for? What's the big rush? Yeah. What are you rushing home to? I genuinely, I'm literally sorry. I'm getting worked up. I feel like I'm your dad. Like, now you're talking to me like, you're like, what are you, what are you? I literally, I didn't say any of that to him. I just simply said, OK, never mind. We're just going to stick to ordering food at home. But you're right, though. And just to jump in on the traffic argument, it's actually better for them to stay later and then go home than to try and get home earlier. Because anything before 7, 8 o'clock, they're hitting traffic. Exactly. Trying to get from New Jersey along. And that's the Hamptons weekend traffic. Right. And I told Matt this. He goes, OK, so if we go to dinner at 530, your dad's planning on leaving Jersey to go back home at 730. That's when dinner's going to end. Yeah. And that's going to be peak traffic time of people leaving. What's the rush to get home? Where are you going besides the couch? Where are you going? Literally. So I just was like, forget it. We're just going to. You know what, dad? Yeah. Let's just order the food still. We're not fucking leaving the apartment. We're not going to leave the apartment at all. Yeah. We're going to sit in this apartment all day long. We're going to order food. Yep. And that's that. And I said, I'm going to make some old fashioned. He goes, what? You want me to sleep over? I said, you can't. What? What? I'm like, oh, my God. So this morning, I said to Matt, I said, should we just go to my house for the night and just say, fuck this and just go to Long Island? And he said, no, no, it is your birthday. Maria foot down. He said, put your foot down. They are coming to you. Yeah. And I said, OK, fine, fine. So whatever. We're going to have a great time. Like I said, it's all said with love. Yeah. But I just don't understand. And he he's right. I don't know what it's like to have kids. Absolutely correct. Yeah. But I then brought up the I said, well, the kids have gone to dinner before. They know they have gone to a restaurant. Sometimes you take kids to a restaurant. And it's at 530. And oh, what? You got to take them out of the car one extra time. Like, yeah, it's annoying in the moment, but we'll make it through. Yeah. I promise we'll make it through. It's a special occasion. Yeah. Like for one night. Yeah. I promise we can get through it. Yeah. He's like, he's like, well, you know what? It's not even up to me. You call your sister and your brother. See what they want to do with their kids. No, actually, I'm not going to do that because I know if I call my sister, she's gonna be like, yeah, sure. Yeah. You know what I mean? She's gonna be like, no problem. Yeah, no problem. Yeah. And she's like, "Luca might be a pain at the restaurant, Well, you know, we'll do it. Like, I know that would be the case. But I said, you know what? Scratch this because you actually ticked me off enough. And now we're just going to eat at home. And that's that. So that's my weekend plan for Friday. Dare I ask about Saturday? Saturday, I'm actually very excited. Just me and Matt. Okay. We are going to dinner to this place in Jersey. I'm very excited about. Very excited. I've been wanting to go there for a while. I've heard great things. He has some other stuff planned. You know him. He loves a surprise. Won't tell me. He's like, when do you want your gifts? I'm like, on Sunday on my birthday. But hey, if you think you should give them to me earlier, you could do that. It's the whole song and dance every single holiday and birthday, which I love. He's like so excited. He's like, I'm so excited for the weekend. I'm like, what is it? What do you got planned? And he's like, me too. He's like, you'll see. I'm like, okay. I don't even know what he got you, which now I'm like, I know, which is he must be mad at him that he didn't tell me what he got you. Maybe he just trusted himself. Yeah. Did he like ask somebody else's opinion? Because that's going to be awkward. Yeah, that's going to be really awkward if we find out he did that. All right. I'll confront him. I'll confront him. You're done recording. Well, let's see what he gets. Yeah. Yeah. And then we can confront him. Yeah. Because I did tell him about one thing I wanted. Okay. So maybe he had something in mind. Right. But he's not a one gift kind of guy. No. He likes multiple. There's going to be some sort of surprise element, I feel. Yeah. And then, so that's Saturday. You guys also have an experience. So maybe there's- Yes, we do love an experience. An experience tied in as well. Yes. And then on Sunday, really my wish was to wake up and not have a plan. Yeah. Because I feel like I'm- That's the best way to do a Sunday birthday. Because Sunday birthdays, there's like pressure because it's still technically the weekend, but it's a Sunday. You want to have fun, but then you don't also want to like- You don't want to like, quote unquote, force other people to like do something on a Sunday if they don't want to do something on a Sunday. Yeah. Maybe they're not Sunday people. Exactly. And I, here's the thing. I kind of just wanted it to be like low key birthday. 29, very exciting. Last birthday in the 20s. Yeah. But I do plan on doing like a big thing next year with all my friends for the big three hours. So I kind of just like didn't bother anybody with plans this weekend. Fair. And I am going to wake up Sunday. That is true. You really didn't- No. No. I didn't plan Sunday. No. I didn't plan a single thing. I said, I'm just, I kind of just wanted to be like low key, not because I'm hiding from my birthday, but really because next year I plan on bothering everybody with a big plan. We have travel next week, Days with the Stars con, all these things. I'm kind of hoping that depending on how that all pans out for us, that maybe we can do something fun like next week. Yeah. I just was like, you know, I really just want to wake up on Sunday with no plan because I feel like I'm always waking up with somewhere to go, which I'm feeling very grateful and blessed for. Actually, that leads me into my next thing. I want to talk about. I want to talk about with this year, but yeah, but he knows that I have had birthdays in the past years ago that like I have been like, oh, I don't want to do it. And then it's just like nothing, you know? And so I, that's why I know he has something planned because he's very thoughtful like that. Whereas like, even though I say I want to wake up and do nothing, you know, there's still something in there. There's still something involved for sure. Um, in which he keeps teasing with a smile on his face. So we'll say, we'll see what happens, but you got to put your name up on 30. Nope. Nope. 34 30 is going to, he's trying to pressure me. We're not talking about this right now. Get off my case. We can't go down this road. We can't, we can't, but I just want to do it. I know. Not right now. Not right now. Um, but I'm feeling very grateful and blessed going into this, this year. I was talking about that this morning that I feel like. The past couple of months have been some of my favorite memories of my entire life. It's amazing. I feel like 28 was a really good year for you. I will say this though. Like, you know, the start of this year, not 28 specifically, but the start of 2026, when I look back at January and February, there were some crazy times, you know, like I feel like, oh my gosh, like me, they won't care that I'm talking about this, but me and my siblings. Yeah. At the beginning of 2026 got into like literally the biggest fight we have ever gotten into like explosive. Yeah. It was so bad. And I feel like I literally went to your, because I, Matt was away for work. I was home with my siblings on Long Island and it was so bad that I left and I went straight to Fran's apartment and I was like, this is so terrible. And I say it with light now because we have now moved past it. And we were, everyone thought the other, other was wrong. Like we were all wrong in individual ways, but it was like one of those, but it was like everyone's pointing fingers at each other. My parents were in Florida. The three of us got into the most explosive fight we have ever gotten into in all of our lives as being siblings. It was genuinely terrible. Um, and that was in the winter and that was kind of like a hard, hard-ish time. And I feel like it's interesting. Like, obviously everyone has family shit, but nobody's getting on like podcasts and really, because it's not my, it's not my family. It's not my place to tell my family's business. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, of course. That would be insane if I got on here and was like, yeah, if you were like this weekend and now it's because time has passed and it's okay. But if at the time when you guys were still fighting, if you were like, we got into a massive fight, forget it. I don't think that there'd be no resolve. No, now it's fine. But like if I came in that Monday and was like this weekend, me and my siblings got onto the crazy, that would be sort of insane to do because it's really no one's business. I feel that way about family. Like you can go through a lot of family things, but on a, on your podcast, you're not going to share your family's business. But all that to say, I would say the winter, there were some hard moments with that. But we, you know, we made up and family's always going to be, it's always going to be, you know, you always get into the, you can get into fights and you make up and whatnot. But I think in the past couple months have been some of my favorite memories. Although I have just complained about the way that my family wants to come over on Friday. Yeah, but that's just, that's just classic. That's classic. We're complaining about traffic. Yeah, that's just, that's just, that's not real. And that is a universal family experience. Exactly. And as, and as like, I remember the same shit when I, cause you know, none of me and my siblings, none of us have, have kids or my cousins, like we're, they're all younger. So I, I just remember the experience from me being a kid and my parents picked, like they picked a location to live in, which was like in equidistant in between my dad's family and my mom's family. But it'd be like, oh, we're going to South Jersey. We got to leave at this time. And my, my dad, if we didn't leave by X amount, X time, we're hitting all the traffic. Same thing with trying to get to Long Island. Same shit. Exactly. And you remember it. You just remember it. Like it's fucking traffic, man. And, but it really is like, it's traffic is everybody fights about it. Everybody argues about it. There was one year I thought my parents were going to get divorced on the side of the road. Like I, we were, we were driving to Martha's Vineyard and it was like, it had nothing to do with any other family members. It was just, my mom was still working in the city and it was like a Friday afternoon. Maybe the worst time. And like my, it was my dad. So my dad had to pack up all three kids, all the stuff, everything. So he's already in a bad mood. My mom's taking the train to somewhere in Connecticut and we're like supposed to be, you know, pick it up in New Haven kind of thing. And it took us so long to get to New Haven that when, like there was no way we were even going to make the Woods Hole Ferry, but we still had to go get my mom. And like, it must've been my mom's idea. I don't know. I don't know. But it was, I remember sitting in the car and being like, this is it. Well, like it was all because of some traffic, like all because we sat in traffic for like so many hours just to get to fucking New Haven. It's just that built up anger that traffic can cause in you. I know it's, it's part road rage is part of these things. And let me tell you, we had, we never left for Martha's Vineyard on a Friday afternoon ever again. Ever. You learned your lesson that way. Ever again. It was Saturday 5am. Yeah. Because they're like, if we want this family. If we want this family to stay together, we need to leave at 5am on Saturday. We cannot be in the traffic. Friday afternoon never happened again. Completely fair. Yeah. I don't blame them. Yeah. But sometimes you're just like, no, absolutely. For one night. It's going to be okay. And sometimes like, it's just like, sometimes you just have to come to terms with you're going to be sitting in traffic. Exactly. It's just, you know, sometimes it's just life. It's just, it's just the way it is. You will make it to your destination. It's just going to take a bit longer. Yeah. All that to say about me bringing up. My fighting with my siblings or whatever was all that just to make note of like, yes, I say that I have literally had like some of these past months have literally been some of my favorite of my entire life. Yeah. But months I say that because I don't want to act like this year has been, oh my God. Perfect. Amazing. There, there has been no problems in my life whatsoever. Yeah. Like, that's not the point of that. But seriously, I. I really, I really, really have been mentally in a fantastic spot. Like, truly. Probably your best. Probably my, like, I really couldn't be happier. And I am ready to take that into the next year with myself. And I give you a lot of credit because, not to, like, dissect it too much, but it's been great watching this version of you because this is the best version of you. Thank you. I appreciate that. Of course. I remember you told me that drunk at a party a couple months ago too. Sounds about right. Yeah. You were like. I'm like, I did? Yeah, you did. You absolutely did. No, I did. You were like, I love watching this version of you. And I appreciate that. And I think everybody in my life also feels that way as well, which is very nice. I was going to bring something up, but I don't want to put my aunt on the spot. How many family members can we throw under the bus on this episode? I really, I really can't. Yes, I'm very excited to go into this next year. And, you know, very exciting things to come for us. And I'm excited for. I think it's just I'm looking back and talking about it in a way because this is the last year in my 20s. Like, that is wild when you think about it. I know a birthday is just a birthday and it happens every year. Yeah, but these are. But this one, like, you really. You really say goodbye to your 20s. Yeah. And that's a big one. And your 20s really are such a informative decade. And maybe because, you know, I can't speak to the ones coming up because I've just started my 30s. Mm-hmm. But I feel like your 20s are. There's so many ups and downs. I'd like to think going forward because it does feel like when you speak to. to older women, you know, each decade, they're like, oh, I loved my 30s. Oh, I loved my 40s. It's just like you start. You really become more secure in yourself and all these things. And your 20s is really the one where you're still kind of like, I don't know who the fuck I am. Mm-hmm. You know? Yeah. So there's a lot of ups and downs and highs, lows. I feel like more so. In terms of, like, discovering yourself, of course, you can always have highs, and lows, and different decades, and you don't know what's. You don't know what's to come. For sure. But just in terms of, like, becoming you as a person and, like, who you are and where. What your values are and who you want to be, all those things. Your 20s really build you into that and then you sort of get to, like, expand on that in your 30s and, like, become more confident in it in your 30s. Yeah. So it is. It's a big chapter to close. It is your 20s. And I'm very excited about all of that, everything you mentioned there, because I do feel like this past year I actually really have been trying to be fully myself. Like, kind of less of the back and forth of, like, this or that. You get what I'm saying? Yes. It's like, even on this show, like, you know, not being afraid to say how I feel about something, right? And it's like, well, that's how I feel, so I'm gonna say it. And, like, that kind of goes into, just, like, who you are as a person as well. And so, yeah, I'm just. I'm very. I'm feeling extremely grateful. I'm very excited for the year. I'm feeling extremely blessed. I really am. Like, not to get, like, really sentimental and sappy, but I truly feel so thankful for the position we're in, the job that we have, the way we're able to make people feel, you know, make people laugh, smile, even laugh at us. Like, last week when we talked about the body image stuff, people messaged saying they were even brought to tears. Like, just being able to connect and even on this show and our listeners. It's such a privilege. It really is. It really is such a privilege, especially, you know, with people. There's a lot going on in the world and people dealing with different things. And just to being able to acknowledge that and feeling extremely blessed, I can't go without saying that, that I am very thankful for our listeners for giving us this life. And, you know, letting us be able to entertain you guys because it is my greatest pleasure. Yeah, it is. If there's one thing that Maria loves, it is entertaining people. Yep, absolutely. To my core. I love entertaining. I love it. So. No, any words of wisdom for our pal here on her 29th birthday? Just soak it in. Prepare for that 30 before 30 list. No, I think that I. I think you think a lot about being the last year of your 20s and then the second you turn 30, you never think about it again. Yeah. I love that. Yeah. It's. That's just life. It's just like, you think about something that happens and then you never think about it again. Yeah, that is true. Right. You build up all this stuff in your head. You're like trying to savor it when in reality, like, nothing changes. Yeah. You're right. You're just 30. Yeah. But this is. It's been, you know, a big week. There's a. Mercury's out of retrograde. Oh, gosh. Thank God. And not to bring up weather, but we're getting a fantastic. Franny's forecast, it's going to be a fantastic weekend. It is. The weather calls for. Ladies and gents, it's looking like a fantastic weekend in the Northeast. Yep. Pack your bathing suit, head to the beach or cooler, enjoy, have a great time. The sun is shining. Yeah, it does. It looks like it's going to be some fantastic weather. Yeah, it's a 10 out of 10. 10 out of 10 day in New York City today. Mm-hmm. A la New York Metro weather. I see what you're saying. Mercury is out of retrograde. Today is my mother-in-law's birthday. Oh, my God. July 23rd. Oh, happy birthday, Leta. Yes. Love you. I wish I knew that when I saw her on Sunday. some of my favorite people's birthdays. It wasn't her birthday on Sunday. I know, but. It's not your birthday today. Well, first of all, actually, your mom messaged me happy birthday on Sunday, and I said. On Sunday? Yeah, she goes, I think it's your birthday, question mark, happy birthday. I said, it's next Sunday, but thank you so much. We live and let live. I appreciate that effort because she definitely doesn't know when all the birthdays are. Also, she messaged me from the Mio account, and then your brother texted me and said, I need you to know that if you ever get a message from Mio, it's my mom. Yeah, correct. He unfortunately has to deal with that often. He is constantly like, Mom, please switch to your personal before messaging people from the brand account. That's what my mom does with the Murray account. She'll message people from Murray. Yo, are we gonna talk about Murray hitting. I always get messages from Murray. Murray hitting 100, 100,000 followers? Murray hit 100,000 followers. That's insane. It is. That is crazy. He's got so much more stuff. And on the topic of Murray hitting 100,000 followers, are we gonna talk about your big Bumble event tonight? Yeah, yeah, we're gonna talk about that too. Can I just say, though, really quickly, just because Murray, just for bringing up Murray and it made me think of dogs, Muddy Paws is doing their big pack challenge right now. It's like they are fundraising for the year. This is where they really, um, are able to make and, you know, receive their biggest donations that, that fuel them through the year and are able to fund them rescuing these dogs, saving these dogs, finding them fosters, finding them good homes. And we, everyone, if you're a part of Muddy Paws, like, it's a great time to help fundraise for them. I've been doing it. If you go on my Instagram, it's right there on the little, like, underneath the bios, like the little donation button. If you can, I would love, Love for you to. to donate if you can no pressure uh of course but if you are able it's such a great cause and they are such a great rescue that oh i'm just i'm just so happy that they are able to do what they're able to do it's just just something to think about uh as as we as we move on because and i know i'm this is gonna be sad for two seconds i know we were gonna say i don't is isabelle isabelle clee who we've had on the show obsessed with her love her she runs her simon sits account her dog simon she's been through so much her book is fantastic if you haven't read her book it's just it's such a good book uh but she's i've been very open about simon's health issues and they've only really gotten worse in the last few months and she's been posting about you know their decision to you the way he's living is just not a way for a dog to be living and i could literally break i've been crying every morning because she posts her videos in the mornings and every time i open my instagram and it's like the first thing and i'm like oh instant tears like they just went they just took simon on on his last hike like i'm like it's just it breaks it breaks my heart um but isabelle is such a big uh part of muddy paws as well so if you also want to donate in simon's honor i think that's would be so beautiful and she has all that up on up on her page as well that's just you know just keep her in your thoughts because it's just the saddest thing and having to make that decision is is so heartbreaking so we love we love you isabelle we're thinking about you yes um and um i know that was a depressing note for a second i know that was a depressing note for a second um and i know that was a depressing note for a second i know that was a depressing note for a second noah is on his way to boston for for this evening what a 180 what a 180 but a big event big dating event tonight big event noah's the face of bumble if you're trying what's i'm a little mad to be honest i'm a little mad we didn't bring this up earlier in the week because now when by the time this comes out we'll have passed so there are probably also my boss and gals listening right now going fuck i would have gone to that i also realized that when i posted it i never like once or twice i would have gone to that i also realized that when i posted it i never like wrote boston or anything and it's like no one's watching that whole like me trying to speak yeah so well plenty of people are let me tell you plenty of people did and if you did not know there will be an open bar oh my god open bar to be had i'm telling you that the amount of times that i i was like exhausted after filming one are you giving us like credit now yeah like a little bit he texted us it was like i'm not cut out for this influencer life like i can't do this when i would just almost be there and then fuck up the last word or i'll be like i forgot to say this and then fuck up the last word or i'll be like i forgot to say this and then fuck up the last word or i'll be like i forgot to say this and then fuck up the last word or i'll be like i forgot to say this you thought that looked asleep like you should have seen some of the other takes like i that was me like eyes kind of close i know because it's the end of the day i'm tired i don't know you know there's actually nothing worse than like it's so embarrassing being alone filming one of those videos and you fuck up i thought about like there might be someone like in the hallway hearing me like say no and when you fuck up it's like oh my fuck i literally did that at one point i just slammed my cat it's literally it is the worst especially when you're alone oh my god i will tell matt to leave the room i i'm like i can't even get into that please i can't i can't do this in front of you he's like we what do you mean you can't do this in front of me i'm like you gotta leave i genuinely can't do it in front of you there was yeah joe loves to make fun of me because now like he'll be in the other room and he'll hear me there was one that i had to do for the um for this for the super bowl a couple years ago for the ping pong thing and it was like i was in the bedroom trying to do it and like i'd be like fuck and i like end it and i just hear joe from the living room go low's nose and i was like i'm gonna kill you it's it's like just no it's so embarrassing it's so embarrassing when you just can't say a simple word i give really so much credit and i know that like they they're the ones that get made fun of the most but the people that are like in public and can just like whip their phone out and film a video and like talk and like because it's their job they're they're literally doing their job right but like that's why our full-time job is not in i i give them so much credit because even like i was walking down the sidewalk and i had to film myself talking and i was like headed into the office excuse me like yeah or i'm like embarrassed i'm gonna knock into somebody it's it's it's always how many takes do you think it took you noah i don't even want to say seriously don't be embarrassed when i deleted that camera roll i was like jesus christ it's i mean are we in like the 10s the 20s the 30s more than that i don't know because like i would cut myself off a lot like it's not like i was finishing like a whole like i'd be like when you had to go back and delete did you have like 30 videos to delete plus yeah i know i know exactly what that's like oh fuck yeah and then like the thing is i'd watch it back and then that was the best one he got no i'd watch it back and be like why do i look so miserable like i just can't like i don't know i don't know what it was he like like in real life your eyes don't look like that but then i was at first i'm like wait maybe i should the camera is deceiving well i was like should i be looking at the lens or should i be looking at my face on the thing so then i switched to like overthinking but a lot of times when i'm like trying to remember something i kind of stare into space and so i've realized i was doing that a lot of i'd just be like staring into nothing like listen i don't know how many of those i have in my future you got the video up you're gonna be at this bubble event you're being pitched to the people that are gonna be there yeah tommy did ask us to say something about noah what'd you say i said um and stay with me okay hold on he uh you don't even remember no i know what it is but i want to say it the right way um he doesn't light up the room when he walks in but his presence shines by the end that's what she said over the weekend yes and i said you've been workshopping this thought a little backhanded but no it's not backhanded it's not backhanded not everyone steps into a room and immediately lights it up like you thank you no because he doesn't he doesn't get noticed when he walks yeah listen you might not even know he's there you might not even know he's there for the first two hours exactly what you're trying because whenever somebody dies he's not a big personality that's like gonna come into a room and be like great like sometimes i wish i could shut the fuck up and and not be like oh my god misattention whore like i it's just built in me i'm just bred that way yeah but because when somebody dies or everybody dies everyone's like oh my god they lit up a room that is not not be saying that about me the thing is it's just not true about everybody yeah it's not it's not true about everybody and people throw it out for everybody is gonna be like not light up a room i'm telling you everyone stop saying that but you're missing the point no no no no yes immediately when you walk through door immediately when you walk through the door is it like this guy's here no but by the by the end your presence has completely shined through and everybody leaves with an impact from noah ives and i think that's a beautiful thing i don't think you automatically have to walk into a room and be the loudest person in the room i don't think most of the time that person's annoying as fuck okay and sometimes i am that person that's annoying as hell when i walk into a room okay that's the cross you have to bear yeah leaving an impact quietly is a great thing a quiet impact yeah i take a little bit to yelling at you while also speaking highly of you yeah yeah you're a little shy at first yeah yeah that's a warm up yeah exactly and like i said i could be shy too yeah not in front of you guys obviously not in front of you i'm shy that's like when the actors say that they're they were shy growing up you know shut the fuck up but genuinely i can be when i first meet people yeah no but super fair not around the people i know and love the most which is you guys yeah i could never stop talking i can't i can't ever yeah especially this weekend oh my god i hear my own laugh in the back of my fucking head and we were in a house that you're everything echo everybody echoes a big house hey although i did say we were playing that game and i was like oh my god i'm like oh my god i'm like oh my god i didn't even notice that you weren't there yeah that was like a dagger in the heart yes that was maybe the most insulting thing you could have said to her he goes i didn't even notice you laughed last night yeah i said i literally felt yeah friend i slid down the wall and fell to the ground yeah no that's so maybe my and you know what worst thing you could have said i'll actually take that as like maybe i'm not as loud as i think i am right and so i'll take that as a win tommy gave me a prompt of just like one word he was like give me one word to describe noah i said reliable and said dare i say very reliable so and that's what we're using yeah full full quote yeah reliable very reliable yeah yeah i did throw up because they needed like celeb quotes too and i said you know what throw in noah khan saying i'm very handsome hey yeah why not he's big as you should yeah you should have um you should sorry nothing like making yourself laugh before you say it out loud you should have included every happy birthday message from from your bar mitzvah i think someone said that you should like imagine if they were on the screen which is like happy birthday noah britney spears happy birthday noah slash Miley Cyrus. Britney Spears. Come celebrate with me. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Word for word what they said. Yeah, they should add that. Jessica Simpson saying that I built an ark. Yeah, yeah, yeah. See, these are all quotes that could go up. That's so Jessica Simpson. Yeah, yes. These are all quotes that could go up. Usher, you're the man. You're the man, Noah. Yeah, this is at a bar, correct? Yeah, yeah. You're going to have a great time. And we'll be able to talk about it on Monday. Yeah, and then I'm headed to the Cape tomorrow. Yeah, directly to the Cape. Nice. It's a little pit stop. Can't wait to recap. Yeah. All right, let's get into today's topics. We're going to be talking about Nick and Alondra breaking up along with some Dumas rumors. Olivia Rodrigo is dating a New York finance bro. Gracie Abrams' song Death Wish confirmed not to be about Taylor Swift, they say. And we got a little more about Amanda and Wes in the In the City reunion. And we have a great game of trivia, so let's get into it. Nair is the award-winning number one hair removal brand. And you can discover sensational fragrances and feel silky smooth skin for days longer than shaving. That's the best part about Nair. You shave less and you glow more. It's fast, smooth skin in as little as three minutes, easy to use, and you know how razors can cause some nicks or bumps or cuts. That won't happen with Nair. You're not getting any of that. It's blade-free hair removal for all skin types. And it's dermatologist tested. So get ready for pool time and shave less, glow more. Yes, you heard that correctly. You're going to shave less and glow more with Nair. Find Nair at all major retailers. So it has been reported that Nick and Alandria have broken up after what seems to be almost exactly one year from Love Island. And now. Right as a new cast has emerged into the world, they have announced their split. Right, and recently Alandria was talking about this publicly being like, I don't understand why people need to know about me and Nick's relationship. Which people were confused by because they were like, well, they did fall in love with you as a couple on a dating show. A little bit of a frustrating quote because it was like, it's weird that people care so much about the relationship. But is it because that's how we were always, we're all introduced to them? The quote was, why does it matter if me and Nick are together? Why are you so invested in people that don't know you? That part creeps me out. I'm not living for the internet. I understand to some extent. But I also think that there is a bit of having to acknowledge that this relationship stemmed from a dating show that the world watched. And the whole point of that and the platform that you've now been given is from a dating show where you were in a relationship. So people are going to care about that relationship. Exactly. And so many people fell in love with them as a couple. Yeah. And so immediately when that quote got out, everyone was like, interesting. It kind of feels like they're not together because why would she say who care, like, why do people care if we're together? Because if you were together, then I think you would just be like, we're together. For sure. And I feel like there's been like some rumbling, and we've seen them together plenty, but they definitely were not like an overly public couple, if that makes sense. Like they weren't like posting together nonstop, all those things. They were living their own lives, and they were connected, and that's totally fine. But the rumors have been that maybe like a little rocky the last few months, blah, blah, blah. I saw Jumwa comment something like, you know, if you think that they broke up two days ago, that's silly. Right. Well, Jumwa had posted some rumors back from Coachella in April that Nick was spotted with somebody else. Yeah, holding hands. They also posted rumors that Alandria has been seeing Travis Scott. Yeah, now she, Alandria denied the rumor. Well, I think Alandria may have commented on the post, but then blocked Jumwa, so now the post is gone. Jumwa wrote, this is just a rumor before anyone flips, flips out. That was like right when she posted it. And then she just posted an update. Alandria denied, question mark, this rumor, but blocked this account, so her comment, which was pinned, was not showing it was from her. So she's pinning, she pinned her own comment. Right. So I guess she's putting those rumors to rest as well. But yeah, I think that they must have broken up a while ago, and I don't think that it happened just like this past week. I think that maybe they hadn't been together for a little, a little bit now because those Coachella rumors paired with Alandria talking about like, who cares if we're together? I think that there's also probably a part of them that like maybe if they broke up a while ago, they didn't want to let the people down that like fell in love with them as a couple. And they were like, oh shit, how are we going to let people know that we broke up as a couple? Yeah. There's just so, there's so much fan love for them as a couple, as individuals, they, they're really like at the tippity top, the Love Island pyramid, it seems like no matter what, Alandria's, Alandria's stands go hard. And now I don't know if we're like, if we're like a, what's the SpongeBob meme where the, the brains, all the SpongeBob, all the files are on fire. And everybody's running around like, what's the next move? Right. They're like, do what happened between the two of them? Yeah. What's the next move? Where do we go? As, but they will obviously support Alandria always, right. And I feel like whatever she wants to do, she is one of the most stunning human beings to walk this earth. And she's been absolutely, absolutely crushing it career wise. She's making the right moves. She is being seen at all the right events, all the right parties doing all the things. I feel like we're going to see her in a movie or something. You know, I can't wait to see her in a movie or something, you know, I could see her maybe trying, maybe going that route. Big fashion campaign. Yes. Yes. Nick seems to be linking up with Bryce for some, maybe some gigs. Yeah. Some DJ festivities. Some, some gigs and. You think Ace is silently somewhere like, I told you. I don't know. I don't know. What is Ace even up to these days? I don't, I don't know. I feel like I haven't seen Ace since last year. I haven't seen any of his stuff. Is he like, active on social media? Is he still making songs? Raps? I feel like we would see them, no? Those were, some of those were bangers when he first put them out. Yeah. There was one that was like actually really catchy. Now I'm forgetting it. Yeah. Oh, Cocky. Yeah. That one. Yeah. Oh, you know what too? Cause I feel like he, he, because he like didn't do. Cause they didn't do the show. The Love Island after the Villa? The Beyond the Villa. That it's like those people, I, I, I feel like stayed in the mix a lot. Mm-hmm. Does he, does he not have an Instagram? For good or bad? Did he delete his social media? No way. No. Ace would never delete his social media. Our Ace? I don't. I cannot foresee Ace deleting his social media. Ace, like I search Ace, Ace Green, nothing comes up. What's. The real Ace Green? Excuse me. He doesn't want to be the fake Ace Green. He's the real Ace Green. But he's like, let's see. He's like shadow banned or something. Yeah, I can't find him either. Oh, there he is. Wow. That's crazy. That took me way, like. Who? That should not, sorry. That should not be how Instagram works. Like I should type in Ace Green and, and his account should show up. No, it's actually interesting. Like you can type. That just didn't show up. Yeah. You can type in people's names that are very popular and it like won't show up at the top now. It's, it's very confusing. What, what's the deal with that? There's no reason Ace Green shouldn't be the first thing to come up. He's still doing those TikTok things where he's like teaching random people how to dance. As he should. Oh, he was at, he was at a couple months ago. He was at, he was at a couple movie premieres. Yeah. Here he is. Oh, he's still, he's still making songs. Here he is riding horses with, uh. Taylor. With Taylor and Clark. Taylor's recovered from his horse riding injury. It looks like. Yes. Yes. Well, Taylor and Clark are the, oh no, I was going to say last standing couple. Not true because TJ and Iris. Except they didn't leave together. But they didn't leave together. Yeah, but I guess that's like kind of a technicality, right? Right. Cause it's like they didn't. Yeah. It's like a couple that left together. That's still together. Yeah. Yeah. I believe so. I will say, and this was a love Clark. Yeah. This was a, this was a love Island thought that I had yesterday. It was cause I was watching UK and I watched an after sun episode maybe for the first time ever. A UK. I don't know if I've, I've watched them before other past seasons, but I don't think I've watched recently. I don't know if I've watched them. and they're fucking letting it fly like they're like oh please this person doesn't give a shit about their partner they're like oh okay they're like they're breaking up in two weeks after the show ends they're just in it for the money they're making fun of casey for winning all stars they're like this guy's trying to this guy's trying to coast just like casey did like they're like you know i'm saying like they're laughing about it they're talking about it like it is a tv show which it is and i was like this is so refreshing it is because think about that it kind of has gone in a circle a bit because the discourse around uk was really bad yeah for for a little bit it was and it still and it still is like they're they still go so hard against the people that they don't like like i think right now mika is getting like a lot of online hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate like i think right now mika is getting like a lot of online hate and she's like a lot of online hate which I think is fairly unwarranted. Like, because once again, there's perspective on it. Like, she's a 21-year-old girl. It's, yeah, maybe she, like, made a couple mistakes in there. But I always go off how the other Islanders treat that person. Like, it's, yeah, she may have made a couple mistakes, but the girls have forgiven her. Like, they're all okay, and they all seem really close. So shouldn't we take that as a hint to, like, how we're all feeling? Because it's not like, oh, she fucked up so bad that the girls are like, we're going to keep her at arm's length. And then maybe I'd understand then the public having that opinion. But they go really hard, and then that's, like, where is the line? Because then they go really hard, and it's like, on After Sun, they're like, oh, you know, Mika doesn't really like him. She's just fucking coasting. Samaraj is way more invested. Like, all these things. But they really, they're, their opinions on the show, like, they're just, they're saying them. And they're not trying to, like, come for the people as individuals. They're just, they're just watching the show, like, as a TV show. Right. And a reality show. And the fact that people do want to get to the final. Like, they were laughing at Aiden and, I won't say, just for spoiler purposes. You can say it, you can say it. Okay, well, they were laughing at, like, Aiden and Priya, that the fact that it's, like, coming down to the end, and, like, now all of a sudden they're, like, oh, we really like each other. And they're on the show, and they said, they said, said, like, the final out loud. It was like, oh, who do you want to be in the final with? Kind of thing. Like, they said that mic'd up. And it was funny, because on Aftersun, Casey was like, yeah, you talk about that, but you talk about it at lunch and dinner when there's no cameras and you're not mic'd up. Like, you don't say it on camera. So it's just, it's just interesting the way that they talk about the show. Versus how we do and how hard it is for the U.S. host of Aftersun to try and give an opinion and not get absolutely destroyed online for an opinion that they're having on a reality TV show. It has made. Because Teffy and Sierra had to, like, multiple times be like, guys, like, we're also talking for hours, and it's getting cut down. Some of these things, like, you're not hearing every single thing that we say, like, you're really coming out of it. It's not as hard for this. And people were treating them like they were journalists and not, like, commentators on the show. Yeah. And they were like, you guys shouldn't be giving your opinion. And it's like, no, well, they're there to give their opinion. No, that's the point of the show, isn't it? And it makes watching the show way less fun. Yeah. It's not as exciting. Aftersun is meant to give your opinion, because it's like, if it's just a recap show, we don't need that. We all watched. Right. We watched every episode. Exactly. You don't need, like, be like, and then this happened, and then you watch a clip. And then this happened, and then you watch a clip. We watched it all happen. I want to hear Ciara and Tuffy's opinions on the couples. Mm-hmm. What happens when you lock 18 coworkers in an office for one week to compete for a quarter million dollars of cash? This is Surviving Barstool Season 5, presented by Rumble Premium. Each episode released three hours early, so get it ad-free before anyone else, only when you join Rumble Premium. Surviving Barstool premieres Sunday, August 9th, at 5 p.m. on Rumble Premium, and everywhere else at 8 p.m. Yeah, it's made watching. The show kind of miserable at times. It definitely has, and I think that's just why I've gone, like, so hard with UK this season, especially. And then I was watching that, and I was like, oh, my God. Now, I. I think that's why I kind of fell out of watching US this year, too, because I was like, the. I wanted to block out the discussion just so I could watch and really have, like, my thoughts about it, what I actually felt about the show. I feel like that's definitely a cultural thing, like. Granted, I'm also, like, not locked into UK social media. You know, so it's, like, I'm seeing the comments and the commentary so much more for Love Island US than I am for Love Island UK. Like, I'm watching. Like, it's so nice to watch Love Island UK because it feels like I am just watching a TV show. And, yes, I'm talking about it, and I can see posts and things and TikToks about it, but my algorithm is not as locked in to Love Island UK as it would be if I was in the UK, and you're seeing, like, a billion TikToks of people giving their opinions and their thoughts and all those things, and maybe they are coming. Maybe they are coming for people and their opinions and this, that, the other thing. I don't. I don't see it as much. That's just, like, social media now in general, though. I feel like, whether it's politics or whatever it is, it's, like, if you. Whoever your guy is or, like, whoever you like, like, they can do no wrong, like. Yeah. And if anyone comes for them, like, you go off. No, it's. It definitely is crazy, and I feel like it has transformed, like, the discourse around Love Island USA a lot because there. You watch it and you have an opinion, and then people are, like, afraid to talk about it. Mm-hmm. So. Yeah. It's kind of a. Kind of a crazy. Kind of a crazy thing, but UK is, you know, wrapping pretty soon, so. Yeah. I think maybe this week. You could talk about all your thoughts. Yeah, yeah. Because there's just. It's just not gonna happen. I don't know. I don't think there's any way I can catch up at this point. Yeah, yeah. I think I'm too far behind. Yeah, yeah. Moving on, Olivia Rodrigo has seen. Been seen out with a New York finance row. Yeah. Seems to be her new boo. Yeah, and they are sort of. Uh. It's funny, because, like, the first thing was, who is this guy? How. How did they meet? Um. He's a Wall Street power player. Olivia Rodrigo sports dating rumors with finance professional Julian Kronenbergs. Kronenbergs? That's gonna be my guess. I had to say it with a little. It's a long last name. The 23-year-old singer have not publicly confirmed their relationship. They've been photographed several times. He's a New York private equity professional. Images that circulated on July 20th appeared to show the pair at an airport while traveling from Iceland to New York. Oh, perhaps a little getaway. I gotta be honest, that sounds like my absolute nightmare. A New York private equity whatever. Oh, oh, oh. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Oh, my God. God, that sounds like a nightmare. I don't know. Maybe. I, um. It's interesting, because the airport images, they just say, they're walking through the terminal after a reported Iceland trip. Members of Rodrigo's team were also said to be traveling with them. I don't even know, like, how do they even identify this guy is what I'm curious about, you know? It's like, how do we even know this guy is? Wait, is that the Wall Street power player? Yeah. Fans subsequently identified the man as Kronenbergs, connecting the photographs to earlier images and eyewitness reports from New York. Like, I know I'm kind of just, like, generalizing here, but you just, when you hear that, you just, like, imagine the, the kind of person you're getting into a conversation with. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're just like, oh. It sounds like my fucking nightmare. Yeah, I liked, I liked her with, uh, Cameron from Geese. Yeah, yeah. Well, it's just like. Or Louis Partridge. Right, right. Go back to that. And look, I, I can't, um, I can't go too hard on the, on that, because, you know, my husband is in that world, so. Well, I, okay. I forgot. You know? And a lot of his friends are, and I love, I love all of his friends. But he's, he's. He's an outlier. Yeah, he isn't, yeah. He is special. He's not in private, he's not in private equity. That's all, that is a, that is a different world. He's not a Wall Street power player. Yeah, that is a different world. Excuse me, has he been described as a Wall Street power player? By the way, they're just making that up. Also, like, how can you be a power player when you're that young? That's what I'm saying. They're just making this, like, they're just making this shit up. Because he's probably in his early 20s. I hope there was no offense to Joe there. He's 100%. Hey, it's almost a compliment that I don't see Joe in that one. Yeah, you don't even remember. In that, in that, in that bro-y finance way. This guy's definitely 100% like a nepo kid who has, like, an internship for his dad's company or something. I don't know. Or he's some prodigy who's the next Jordan Belfort. I don't know. Well, or he's just, like, a normal fucking dude that lives in Brooklyn and just so happened to meet Olivia Rodrigo. I don't know what, that would be crazy, but. How, how do you just so happen? Oh, hey. Oh my God, you can see his whole. There on the street?. like, bio on the, on, where he works. Where does he work? LinkedIn, on his LinkedIn. HG Capital. He joined HG in 2024 from Goldman Sachs where he worked on the financial institutions investment banking team in New York. He received his bachelor's in applied mathematics and computer science from, from. Goldman Sachs. He went to Brown. Okay, one of my best friends worked at Goldman Sachs. Okay, well, yeah, I mean. I get what you're saying. Yeah, I get what you're saying. It's all bad. Like, we are. The machine is bad. Yeah, we're, we're generalizing here. Like. Yes. I just, I'm not the kind of person who wants to get into a conversation talking about all of that. No, no, no, no. no i understand that right i understand that what's your portfolio yeah like like i know that there's stuff i have to do you know that i take care of in my personal anyone who's in that world is gonna really hate me but like she wanted to date a normal boy allegedly and here's the thing i'm just imagining going on a first date with someone i'm once again i'm generalizing like i just picture them talking the whole time about like their investment portfolio they really don't know not everyone does but there are guys like that that do exist more so there are more of them than not in that field they exist and they think they are quite important they definitely exist i've seen it out in the wild absolutely but that's a generalization once again and not all are like that yes not joe riley yeah maybe not this guy either we don't know yeah maybe not not him either who yeah who knows um and i i did see like it being pointed out that sort of olivia has a bit of like a fuck the man type vibe and like this is the man yeah this is a wall street guy like that is that is the man right if i was spotted out on the street with an a-list celebrity or whatever i would hope they'd be like podcast power player yeah and then they go oh my god imagine sitting out on a date and i'm like oh my god i'm like oh my god i'm like oh my god i'm like on a date with a podcast producer new york magazine by the way saying podcast producer like it sounds like i would much rather be called a wall street power right exactly like the thing is we're making fun of something that by the way when we introduce ourselves and say podcast host yeah i understand what that comes across spotted out with a podcast producer her career would be over this guy's also like my guess is bottom of the barrel you know i think this kid graduated college at three years what do you introduce yourself as when someone says like what do you do for a living producer producer you don't know and then if they push then i say oh video producer oh where media company oh where barstool you ever hear barstool oh yeah what what what podcast chicks in the office well i say oh it's like a pop culture podcast oh like what wow they gotta ask a lot they gotta ask eight questions because i don't i don't like to to like assume that people know what these things are so if they're like i do the same thing i don't maybe i don't go that long right i say oh it's a i host a pop culture podcast it's called chicks in the office i don't make them then ask for the name if it's like a guy or if it's guys who are like barstool guys like i could tell they're profiling just from the way they look yeah or if it's just guys they're probably wall street power players it's a wall street power player and they're like what podcast bro like what are you working on i'm like you know the one with the two girls like what you know the one with those two chicks those two broads yeah we're for those two bitchy broads that's so funny don't you just wish they would get back in the kitchen kill me dude sometimes i just want them to make me a sandwich oh and he was a field hockey player sorry i'm so lost i was locked into this so i'm a side oh my god he plays he field hockey sorry that's just like really threw me off my god why you know a guy yeah of course he played field hockey and then his went to wall street he played for the u.s men's national field hockey team between 2018 and 2020 no that man he also trained with the greenwich field hockey club greenwich field hockey club oh this guy's exactly who he is yeah yeah yeah yeah i take it back you hear the word yeah and forget it it's all out the window oh my god his parents house is like a hundred acres ridiculous the greenwich field hockey club this is like a rom-com in real life like someone's gonna have to save olivia from this guy oh it's based in new york oh it's be oh greenwich club based in new york city it's welcome to greenwich field hockey club based in new york city we're the biggest adult field hockey club in the united states they're the biggest field hockey club in the united first of all but i'm just saying he participated in this like i think as living in like living in new york something about playing field hockey as a grown man like just makes me think you're like so wealthy i don't know why but like who does that all right play pick up basketball yeah you know what i was what i was thinking about last night i didn't realize that that was a thing to be honest i don't know men played field hockey at all well i'm moving looking at some new builds being built in jersey city like there's a lot of new buildings and i'm i'm imagining i'm like wow it is crazy like they're just building this from the ground up they're showing up on site building us i'm like imagining like my brother-in-law like showing up in a bad mood one day and i'm like and he's like oh i gotta fucking build this building and i'm like you think about that like there are people who are building yeah buildings yeah infrastructure that may be showing up like in a bad mood and then you got buildings in manhattan that are crumbling or about to crumble because they're in a bad mood and like you know like he worked on uh the new bill stadium and i'm like what if one day he showed up in a bad mood what about being a doctor you show up in a bad mood like that's what i think about right i come in here insult i don't really have to do anything like yeah edit a podcast but like these people are have people's hearts in their hands right exactly it's like and they have to they have people's lives in their hands yeah we show up in a bad mood we're just like oh we gotta talk you know we gotta talk about love island today right like it's so simple yeah it's so fucking simple yeah these people there's so many occupations out there there's putting people's lives at risk have you ever seen that tiktok doctor guy uh i mean i'm sure there are many tiktok doctors but this guy's like he's a a surgeon like uh i think brain surgeon or something but he's always like just got out of or it's like he's like it's 3 a.m i'm headed to the like i just got called and it's always he's always so happy and i'm like how i've never seen that once you guys see this guy he'll pop up yeah he does talk about it it's very interesting i just took like a just like a quick click into a into a reddit thread oh the olivia rodrigo fans are not happy about this we shouldn't be i would consider myself to live here no no but it's like it's like i'm also olivia rodrigo you know but it it's still level like how could she ever possibly date like an uh an evil wall street man we don't know that that's what they're saying about him i know i know you know that's what that's like there's like there's like one person trying to defend him but the rest is like they're they're furious at her that she would even entertain like dating dating someone that once worked at goldman sachs something about goldman sachs like something about that name it's just the name i don't actually even know like what goes on there but the name is just like an evil name listen to this comment if this guy volunteered at animal shelters in his free time or made massive donations to plan parenthood or the like that's the pr word that's the pr word that's the pr we'd be seeing about him right now instead we're getting stories like isn't it nice he'll pay for a date which is concerning if that's the best pr her team can come up with i i mean i don't i don't know you don't know it's like no i'm saying this is i know i know you don't know every detail what people donate to or what you know we don't know this guy at all it's not always advertised and it's this has been out for a day like like his name has been in the press for a day right right well for him to even be in the same circle as to meet olivia rodrigo though he has to be a player like no no random i can't hear the name i can't hear the name power player random intern is just like like he has to be like he knows somebody this is yeah well that's your fault for going on no i know i wish i wasn't the first thing i clicked i know and i normally like never do because it's not like the real world but that yeah it's nuts i i imagine yeah i guess because you know olivia has been very vocal about her her passions and she feels strongly about and and this that the other thing she's and she's stands up for what she believes in which is always very good she's always you know like at her concerts yeah donates to a lot of great causes and that money's going to Goldman Sachs but it's just like it's like she's gonna get she's so young and it's so crazy that a guy that she's dating it's just gonna get torn apart from every angle we don't know anything about this we don't know anything about him everyone's just assuming his yeah yeah beliefs and whatnot yeah yeah so well Julian good luck I don't know if they'll be able to withstand this kind of heat I don't even know if it's a serious thing maybe it's just a little summer flight like they were seen having dinner in like Brooklyn I think and then there's this I maybe this Iceland trip maybe he's working on her investment portfolio maybe he is maybe he is maybe I really am curious though as to how these two even meet you know I'm saying like that's what I'm saying like in what you you think this guy's just coming up walking up to her like in a coffee shop or something is that crazy that a rich kid in New York City would be in the same circles kind of no rich kids in New York City his dad knows someone in the music industry like I'm talking like extremely rich kids in New York City yeah have so much access we don't know how rich he is I don't know but I'm assuming I'm just assuming that we don't know okay well then let's just assume like the other people like us that we're all asses because we're all assuming but I assume somebody that he knows is connected in some way and that's how he got to meeting Olivia Rodrigo. Maybe some sort of apartment party. Right, like these New York City kids in their apartment parties. Why do I just don't feel like Olivia Rodrigo is out like that? Is that stupid? She's 23. No, I know she is, but you just never see her. Olivia Rodrigo dated Zach Bia. Oh my god, I forgot about that. Good point. You know, like, come on. Tough guys for Olivia. She dated Zach Bia. Yeah, fair. Fair, fair, fair. Yep, yep, yep, yep. It's not that crazy. I feel like he's been pretty quiet. I haven't heard that name in ages. Right? I wonder, like, her team must have her on lockdown too. I wonder how they deal with all this. Seriously. That is a name we haven't heard in forever. I just imagine her team is like kind of nuts to keep her image squeaky clean. I had followed him because I was like, oh, this guy's like friends with Drake and like, and then I'm like, what does this guy do? Why am I following? I just had like a. Isn't Zach Bia's birthday coming up? Can't say I know. No, because it was an ongoing joke between me, you, and Joe years ago about Zach Bia's birthday. Let's see. Yes. Oh, it just passed. Oh, we just missed it. June 9th. He has the same birthday as Stassi, baby, I believe. Yeah. The only reason I know this is because it was an ongoing joke. It was, but now I don't remember the whole joke. I don't know. No, I don't know. This was years ago. I'm literally talking about maybe like six years ago now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That we were like, happy birthday, Zach Bia. Yeah. Damn. Yeah. Time flies. All right, moving on. Gracie Abrams' song, a new song on her album, Death Wish. There were rumors that it was about Taylor Swift. Kelly Teller had posted it to her story. People like, ooh, this is shade of Taylor Swift. Da-da-da-da-da. That is not the case. Yeah, it's been, so this has been a conversation for a while because she, Gracie has been singing Death Wish for a while. Like, it's something that she would sing in concert. It wasn't officially out, but it was like, you know, here's a song, Death Wish. And when you, when this, when the album came out and you read the lyrics, you were like, people were like, oh, ooh. Ooh. Is this, is this about Taylor? Which, um, just felt like it would have been a really strong statement if that was the case. You know, like, it's, there's some piercing lyrics in this. I'm gonna read the lyrics. Piercing lyrics in this song. No, she was at her wedding. She was at the wedding, so that's, but that's what I'm saying. That's why I don't know, like, I think people try to, like, really hold on to um, like, songs that are about Taylor, feuds or, or anything like that. There's a couple in here that's like, uh, but how'd you get so bulletproof? You trade your time for inside truths. Trade your time for any clue of what to do or not to do. Hate to say it's nothing new aside from those few girls you keep around. How will it end? How long will you give me till you twist the knife with a smile while you kill me? And then you ask me to dance if there's someone around. You don't look the same when I look at you now. Interesting. Yeah, so I'm reading the lyrics and I'm like, ooh, who is this about? Well, I know, when you read it in the lens of that, of Taylor, you're like, oh, God, like, you'd be like, whoa. I fell for your faux fantasy. You poured the wine. There's poison in it. Yeah. Ooh. Yeah, it's, it's you'd be like, oh, fuck. Your eggshell floor is splintering now. Which makes me think that, like, Kelly Teller heard that song and, like, she decided to make it about Taylor Swift. Just, just like any of us listen to a song and decide it's about some person in our lives in our head. Yeah. But she, she really fed into that. She used it multiple times. But Aaron Dessner, producer, produced this album, has worked with Taylor Swift a ton, was interviewed by Billboard, and they asked him, you know, is Death Wish about Taylor Swift? And he said, definitely not. It was right at a time when Gracie was writing about a friend's ex being in a bad relationship. It was kind of about that person, I think. I wouldn't even actually know who that person was. And Gracie herself, has said multiple times what this song is about. And, like, in concert, she'd be like, this is my, this is a song about, this is Death Wish. It's a song about a friend with a bad, like, a friend with a bad ex, just to that's a bad summary. That's not word for word what she said, but something along those lines. So it's like, it's come out of her own mouth, being like, this is what the song is. And people still all, when this, like, on TikTok, everything, when the album came out, being like, I think this song's about Taylor Swift. Which is crazy, considering, yes, she was literally just at her wedding. I think it would be pretty nuts to have written a song that you've sung multiple times already in public, that, and it's like, it would be about her, and then you want, you would want to go to that wedding. Yeah, that's like sub-tweeting somebody and then hanging out with them the same day. And it's not even just, like, hanging out with them, it's being at their wedding. Like, the biggest day of that person's life. Yeah, like, that's insane. Yeah, so, I think that kind of spiraled out of control a bit. I don't think Gracie and Taylor have any issues. I feel like because there are certain people that it's like, well, we, I mean, we know Olivia and Taylor don't interact. So, it's like, then you see Gracie and Olivia interacting and they support each other in their music. So, people like to just kind of jump to conclusions, which is hard to do also, because it's like, you can't be friends with two people that may not get along. It's not like they're all in the same room often. And you have to be like, you gotta pick which side to go to. But then Olivia Rodrigo also said that her favorite song off the album was Death Wish. So, then everyone was like, ah! And then that just also was like, ooh! Cold to the fire! More wood! More wood! I will say this, though. I will say this about that situation. About, yes, you could be friendly, I think, or civil with somebody who is. maybe not friends with your friend. Yeah. But. if somebody really did your friend wrong, like one of your best friends, kind of looking at you a little sideways if you're still, like, if somebody really. If they just, like, don't mesh, different story. Totally different story. That's like, alright, these two people's personalities don't really mesh. Okay. But if somebody really does your friend dirty, and, like, somebody continues to be friends, it's like, mmm. I agree, but you know what the example that I always think of, and I give her a lot of credit for being able to manage it. Gigi Hadid and. Oh, no. I was actually going to say, yes, that is a good one, too. Yeah. But I was going to say Paige with Amanda and Hannah. Like, you know, like Amanda and Hannah really don't fuck with each other. And now obviously Paige and Amanda are not. This is no longer an issue that Paige, I think, has to deal with. Right. For many years, she did. Yes. Of them. And, like, seemed to handle it pretty well. And, like, both girls, like, understood that Paige was friends with the other one. Yeah, that's a good point. I think a lot of what had. It was, like, a lot of Kyle. Yes. So maybe not. For sure, but it was like, you know, that's her. At the time, it was like her husband, and she was. Right. Not sticking up for her at all. No, no. Yeah, that's. I guess that's a good. Yeah. But they were also, like, on a TV show together, so maybe it was just for the sake of. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I don't like Hannah fucked with Paige. I mean, with Amanda. No, no. I guess maybe it's situational. Yeah. Depends on what the thing is, maybe. For sure. For sure. That is very true. But, yeah, this one, this was one that. And Hollywood's a different thing, because they're. You're showing face with. Right, we're, like, talking about. We're showing face with someone. That's, like, such a real-life example. Yeah. More so. It's, like, it's good optics for all these ladies. to support each other for sure besides olivia and taylor which isn't going to happen anytime soon no no but like olivia and gracie supporting each other and being friendly and all these things is yeah bringing up amanda and uh west the in the city part one reunion aired and really i just want to talk about a quick little tidbit where andy cohen asked amanda if her and west were in love she said that was hard to answer then she was asked if they say i love you she said not really then i believe danielle said love you counts and she said illy yeah illy um excuse me at this grown age that she's she's lying no she by the way amanda is stuck she is stuck at whatever at like 14 years old yeah she is stuck at an age that she should not be because at this even muttering the words illy out loud feels uncomfortable i know but you think she was kind of joking a little bit no no no i actually don't oh i kind of thought maybe she's funny like that i think that i think that she did because west is totally the kind of guy yeah that would write illy he's totally that kind of guy well i was thinking maybe like maybe like but texting it is different than saying in real life but still like my husband has never texted me illy no no no no no at this grown age no no i text my my best friends illy yeah yeah ily yeah ilysm a lot of times right my guess is my guess is west throws out a lot of illies as well to everybody he's telling everybody i think everybody's getting illy via text so that's that's definitely different what's confusing to me is just like i find that she's still kind of lying about it and because we watched west talk to kyle and it seemed at that point like pretty close to love or like in love for each other like the word love was used kind of often and west so i'm like i feel like she's not really being fully transparent also her saying that she was just on beta blockers at the uh lies at the summer house reunion and that she was just like she was just like the way she deals with conflict or trauma or whatever is like disengaging and that's like what was happening no way no no way she looks sleepy as hell i picture west like picking up his coffee and look at the barista being like illy like out loud like i think west is the kind of person that says illy out loud i think west is the kind of person that says illy out loud and to me that's like the worst kind of person because amanda said illy he he totally he's like illy he might yeah i could see it i mean like just i could see it for sure but god you're telling me there's just like no i mean i just do not believe that they weren't fucking all loved up on in italy she's spin olives into his mouth and they're not going to bed being like i love you i doubt like that's there's no way by the way though like at this point in time okay what they've been doing this shindig since what february it's now july well they are monogamous they're monogamous it's been going on since february or whatever the fuck you don't know if they you don't you don't know if you're in love yeah yeah if you're not in love i just think she doesn't want to say it it's like you know just say it though that would be better if you just said you were in love it would be better just to just say it but i don't know but then she'll look dumb when this thing ends and like right but then she could be like still kind of stringing it sounds like he is like it sounds like he can't even be like i'm they're not in love with each other they're just not they're not they're not when you're in love with someone you want to shout it from the rooftops these people are not in love with each other they're not they're not they're not they're not they're not in love with each other right yeah there's a lot freaking weirdos i swear man they are so weird i can't so weird man illy illy all right that wraps up the topics illy all right let's get
