Brand new studio, same exact room. It's going to be some getting used to for us, too. Like, even now, I'm like, what do I do with my hands? Yeah. Because there's something about the mic coming across. I like this, but I almost feel like I should be touching it, you know? But then I feel so close. Getting used to it. Right. But I love this. I think it looks so good. Looks way better in here. We were tired of the clutter, and here's the thing. Did I just have a lisp for a second? Oh, okay. It sounded like it. Here's the thing. Okay. Here's the thing. We started at a table. Yeah. First podcast studio we were in was at a table. Yeah. Second podcast studio we were in was at a table. Third podcast studio we were in was at a table. Fourth was table and chairs. We started at a table, meaning, like, chicks in the office, like, Instagram videos, I meant. Okay. Okay. I'm, like, losing track of what you're talking about. That was a long table. Long table. Yeah, yeah, yeah. For a second, I totally forgot what those rooms looked like. Right. Then the closet. We had our own studio. We had another table. Our own studio, which was the closet. Yes. Table. Fourth, couch and chairs. Yeah. Now, fifth, table. Back to the table. So, people are up in arms, like, oh, my God, oh, my God. They're at a table. We've been at a table. The last few years has just been the only times we haven't. Right. But we started at a table. Yeah. We're comfortable at a table. I do my best shit talking at a table. Okay. Look where I can play. Face my hands. Yeah. Like, out at a restaurant at a table, at my dining room table. If it's going to make people feel more comfortable, you know, some people were in the DM saying this feels corporate. We could throw a placemat with some dishes and some wine glasses right here and make it look like a dining room table. Yeah. Put some candles and flowers in the middle. This is not corporate. No, I don't. I don't get it. I don't find it to be corporate at all. I think they use corporate in a word when they really, like, it's a little cleaner. As it should be. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's, and some may say less whimsy, but I think it's still very whimsy. I think it has the perfect amount of, that's us. It has a little perfect amount of personality. It's still there. We got a bunch of shelves with all our favorite stuff on it. We got the OG signs right next to us. We have a beautiful sign that lights up. All of a sudden, oh no, we went corporate. We're not corporate. No. We're Italian. And we just want to be at a table. We just want to be at a table. We just want to sit at a table and just talk shit. We just want to be closer to eating. You guys know. Yeah, exactly. And soon we're going to be not eating, but a little martini. I actually brought this up to a friend. I'm like, you want to have a martini at this table? Yeah. We immediately ate lunch at the table. She kind of shot me down on the martini, like, pretty immediately. But just picture it. It would be great. So instead of looking at us like, oh, they're corporate at a table. Look at us like, we're sitting down at a dining room. We're sitting at a table together. And we just cleared it off. And we're waiting for the cannolis and cookies to hit the table. We're waiting for the cup of coffee to be made. And all the people. And there are plenty of people who also were like, we're going back to the roots. I like the table. So that's there, too. I think it's kind of hard when you're not in the room with the old configuration to realize. Because the way that it's cut for YouTube or for social, it looks like we're all looking at each other in the eye. But on those couches. When we would have guests, it was very hard for the guests to look at Rhea. Like, they, because where Rhea was in the corner, it's like if she were at, regardless, one of us was kind of getting blocked off. Like, if Rhea asked a question to the guests and the guests wanted to look Rhea right in the eyes, they basically had to turn their whole face away from me. And vice versa. So it's like, in order, just thinking about when we have guests at this table, it will be pretty direct. Eye to eye. Right across, which feels a little bit better than what we were doing. Right. And when people would come in, they were being told by their people, hey, cheat to the cameras. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So they wouldn't fully look at me because then they would be. Wasn't in the. Their camera was behind me. So it actually ended up being where they would look. Even when Rhea would ask a question, they were looking at me. And that's just the way it went. And we got used to doing it that way. Yes, yes. But to be clear, we are still having guests. Yes. And we have. We have planned out and mapped out how. Where are they going to sit? Like, we posted this. What do you want to eat? People were yelling, where are the guests going to go? It's like, guys, don't worry. We've been planning this for months. We are going to be across from them. It's going to be one over here, two over there. If we have two guests, it'll be two over here, over there. If you're listening to this, you got no visual, then you have no fucking clue what we're talking about. It doesn't matter to you. But I promise you, this is for the better. And for Noah's. Lighting's better. Yes, for Noah's editing, producing, filming, he was always talking about this. About the depth of the room and how this is now. There was no depth. This is now logistics. Our chairs were up against the wall, which adds no depth to a video, which from a producer. And we didn't have lights behind your head like they are now. From a producer standpoint, it just wasn't ideal. Yeah. So everything we have done now is to upgrade everything. And. Let me upgrade. So happy for the people that are loving it, hyping it up. Not happy about the people that are. It's just changed. In my DMs, I'm like, I hate this. I hate this. We hate this. We're never going to listen or watch again. And while we're on that topic of conversation, we have finally been able to share our videos from visiting the Chad Powers set in Atlanta back in February. Yeah. All right, everyone. You're going with your best friends. You're thinking this is going to be a this is gonna be a thrill. Hope we get to talk to Glenn. You know, we're like, hope he has a second for us in his busy day. We get to the hotel. We check in. We're all ready. We have we got time for the next day. We got time that we're getting picked up. The wonderful people at the mouse are there for us. And they're saying Hulu. But it's really that's also Disney. We check. We checked in. Actually, it was under the reservation. The lady to check me and said, Oh, you worked for the mouse. I said, I do not. But they are. But the mouse is hosting us. Yes. Okay. So now get we're getting ready. We don't know what to expect. We're sitting in the lobby. The time keeps pushing back a little bit. The rep is telling us, Oh, you know, there's some trap. The drivers, they're getting stuck. There's a little bit of traffic. She said, No worries. We're good. We're good. She says, Okay, finally, they're here. We get up. There was there was what was on the Olympics. The Olympics were on the Olympics were on. We were watching the Olympics. We were locked. We were locked into maybe skiing something. It was figure skating, figure skating. The figure skating was happening. We're watching on our phones. She's like, Okay, it's time to get like, Okay, we go. We walk through. We walk through the doors. It's to head out to the to the valet of the hotel. And who? Great. But Glenn Powell himself said, "Come on, ladies, want to you guys want to ride in my truck jump right in jump right in i'll give you guys a ride and we were there with um a few other creators as well who all got invited and we had so much fun with them they were great uh katie feeney's she's delightful she's i'm sure she's gonna be posting all of her videos and stuff that she was taking as well but you know glenn's like gals let's hop the ride and i said shotgun and jump right in no one was taking shotgun i said shotgun yeah you jumped right in now i got a big truck he's got a big pickup truck so picture glenn powell picking fran and i up in a pickup truck in a big ass pickup truck picture this yeah your husband my husband was one of the creators invited because he is friends with michael waldron yes who is the writer and director creator of chat powers also avengers doomsday yeah so so michael waldron hits up at marty mush yeah and is like text him he's like you you have to come to set you have to come to set i'm working on it having the girls come to set you guys all gotta come so shout out michael waldron yeah very much appreciate him inviting us to set and having us all together really cool michael waldron is so fucking sick like really cool that's just a whole other topic he's so yeah yeah so my husband we boot him we boot him into the other car we say scoot scoot absolutely no room you can go in the other car we're riding in the pickup truck with glenn there was absolutely no room so we get in the car couldn't possibly fit him glenn's like you put your husband in the other car yeah i said yeah it doesn't look like there's any room no ladies only it just kind of seems like the pickup truck's all full glenn well so we're dying laughing in that ride glenn got to know so much oh yes yeah yeah we we had a lot of fun and we had a lot of fun oh my god we had such a yap sesh yeah that i believe turned us into lifelong friends with glenn yeah i believe that car ride really changed everything going forward and i have such a funny picture of brisket glenn's dog sitting in the middle fran's hands around brisket glenn's hair flying in the wind we got better believe we got out of that car let's erase it did you what a bad friend i would be if you got in the front seat with glenn and i didn't yeah and i take a fucking picture of you sitting shotgun with glenn also glenn's such an angel girls do you need me to roll up the windows he's the best is your hair is your hair getting messed up no glenn keep the windows down we're in the pickup truck with you yeah yeah yep and we roll up to set everybody was so nice we got to meet so many people talk to so many of the actors on the show it was so cool because shout out michael waldron he's gonna think we're obsessed with him but he did he loved he texted matt earlier and was yeah loved the video so you know hopefully we made him happy yeah but we got a lot to post we do have a lot to post michael i wonder if we can call him mike he yeah yeah i think he's a michael i think he's a michael he let us sit in the director's chairs and they would shoot a scene and michael would come running over and be like what do you guys think of that anything you think we need to add or take away or whatever i'm like michael i am not going to tell you how to do your job unless it's me telling you to put me in the fucking show and we also got to watch some besides that yeah we've got to watch they were it was towards the end of the season so we won't obviously give anything away but there was like we were on the field so they were there was a lot going on with like a big game so just imagine that and we got to watch like steve's on do his thing that was like so cool to sit that's a great job and then glenn had a little had a little downtime we got to see him get the full chad makeup we got to watch that whole process we talked to him as chad really the whole time and we actually left and i said i'm glad we did take the car right here with him while he was glenn because the rest of the time he was chad and it is a little jarring sitting across from him as chad for hours we sat down and talked to him as dad that the next time we see him and just see him as glenn yeah i'm gonna be off my game i forgot what she looked like for a second we've gotten he was in full full uniform the whole time but no he's he's coming over he's like you guys want to toss the football around you want to get some practice throws in because he was getting his warm-ups in he's throwing the ball with us catch with everybody yeah he's like looking at looking at marty's like this guy's an athlete yeah he was really hyping up and obviously that was his dream he's like i can't believe glenn just called me an athlete and like he really had to start running after a while i think he was gasped like he was like go long right glenn kept him out there like a dog for a long time they were having a catch yeah it's just guy stuff guy stuff such guys but it was it was so funny and listen glenn is just the best he really is the best i i just sent him a selfie of us wearing chad power's should you put them on do you think do you think glenn's biggest regret regret is giving us his number yeah he's like why did i do that no no i'm kidding he um um he talks the most yeah look and and we've still going is active hey just kidding we got some you got to keep things listen things he's planned we keep teasing a bit we keep teasing a a dinner and drink situation hasn't happened yet we're just waiting for that moment to naturally we can't force it has naturally happened by the way there's just so much more in the lineup you know you just never know what could happen with glenn he's just such a gem he really is and um yeah we do have these chad powers masks yeah they did send hulu sensor masks i don't prefer to put mine on right now they're they are freaky they they're hard to breathe they're yeah hard to breathe hard to see yeah i walked in with them you see it was scary scared the bejesus yeah yeah yeah i didn't like those but it was and we were in and out we were there really quick down in atlanta where they where they filmed chad powers but it was it was really cool to see all the behind the scenes and extras and because you always wonder how they do like the big games where they make it look like they're in a huge crowded stadium and we got to see a little bit of you know how the sausage gets made it was very cool very very cool seriously one of the highlights of my life yeah that was a fun and it killed us not to be able to talk about it for so long genuinely i had to put this out of my brain yeah we had to forget because i forgot like we came back and rio was like i just have to pretend like none of that even happened or else i'm going to talk about i just i threw it in the trash outside of my brain and it was so freaking epic though yeah so cool never been on a tv show set before so that was really cool that was really all i'm excited to watch the whole new season too because unfortunately you know it was sick that we got to be there but we are fans of the show and we did we did it was towards the end of the season a moment that they were filming so they did kind of have to fill us in on some things that were going on and we're like oh okay so you know we kind of got a little ahead of ourselves but we're still so excited yeah oh my god at one point michael turned to us and said why didn't we think about putting you guys in this episode oh i said oh i don't know i don't know michael mike you tell me if you had a dime for every time you were almost right right but i will say don't don't worry because glenn got an earful from me about how i was a child actress yeah and that was part of the car ride and my lifelong dream and he heard it all, okay? That was part of the car ride over. He said he's waiting to see you one day. So, you know what I mean? We'll see. We'll see. But we had a great time. So, I'm glad that we get to share all the moments now. And I miss Brisket. Such a cute little dog. Oh, God. So freaking cute. So cute. I just miss riding in that pickup truck of Glenn. We had such a good time. I feel ya. You know? Yeah. We really did. It's like you almost wanted to unplug the GPS, took a wrong turn to get the ride a little longer. It was a good enough ride, though. Right, and when you see. And we were like, hey, and nothing's worse than watching how you react in those moments. Or when you see your resting face when you're not prepared to be filmed. Right. And I saw that, and then, oh my God, I light up like a Christmas tree when I see Glenn. But it was epic, and you know, he's coming on the show this week, so yeah. I wasn't. There goes the teasing. To be honest, though, I think the whole, like, we have two really special guests coming in at the end of the week, and we were at the Chad Powers, that probably puts two and two together. house seem to be posting a lot of posts about their relationship and their relationship with each other and i think they've been posting an awful lot together um like one story post they were literally in bed together and i guess my hot take is that i think maybe third time's the charm for these two no no together again carl has softbar now which he has a lot of pride in and lindsey has a baby which we know she's always wanted um and they both just seem a lot happier and more sure of themselves now maybe they had a case of right person wrong time and now that they're both more stable and mature they can make it work i don't know maybe i'm toxic for this take so let me know what you guys think about carl and lindsey potentially rekindling absolutely not yeah i appreciate the hopeless romantic in her but no they should not be together i don't know if it's the hopeless romantic or the hopeless toxic in her because right right right it is so clear that these two should not be together no they're so much better so much better as friends no just no i think they show love in very different ways like they need totally different things of romantic relationships and they can clearly they are way more fulfilled together as friends and like they can handle a friendship anything more than that is too much even them hanging out this much together as friends i think shows that they're better as friends because if they were to start a relationship again then they would be expecting more from each other yeah and then that's where we fall back into the cycle so i think with the stay friends stay friends you two i think friends is exactly where they should be while we're on the topic i feel like amanda and west have been posting way more on instagram like they had to get back out there they are posting each other a lot there was like some rumors on dumois that they were seen fighting out in public at a wedding yeah that seems like just people throwing shit in and seeing what sticks yeah but they do post a lot of each other now they're they're back they're back on instagram i mean eventually you have to just like yeah eventually if you're gonna live your life and this is how you're gonna live it then you just got to do that especially they want like this to be their job still if they want to be on social they want to be content creators and doing those things or influencers whatever the whatever you want to call it you gotta get back out there i gotta get back on the you gotta get back out there yeah and i think they tried to slowly do it and then i was like fuck it let's just go all in like they're like all those pictures from newport it was like let's just post every single picture from newport no no now from the still waiting for the martha's newport you think jb now i think where were they in portland for this wedding or somewhere in the west coast it looks to be honest it looked stunning i am not sure i think it was it looked like to a wedding that he did not have a plus one for and just brought her that's which feels even west knows not to do that i hope because that would be fucking no that's insane that's insane that would be that's insane and then like to to be the guest and show up oh no you would that would be they're like oh let me pull up a chair for amanda listen we're talking about insane behavior from two people who did something that was insane behavior but so you so you don't know but they're posting pictures from the wedding which i do not think you would post pictures from the wedding if you pull something no that's crazy like that no no no that would that feels far-fetched feels like just one of those things that was thrown in absolutely um all right moving on hi ria fran and noah i have a bit of a hot take after your guys's past episode where you were absolutely bragging on how you were doing and how you were doing and how you were doing and how you were doing and how cute of a couple jacob lordy and kendall jenner are i am a self-proclaimed jacob lordy hater i will go on that another time but every time i hear people brag about how great of a couple kendall and jacob are i feel for olivia jade because they were on and off for like four and a half years and never were spotted together she literally moved to like paris for a little bit i've been there where you date that total f boy guy which he gives so i kind of feel for her and then you break up and then a week later he sets up with kendall jenner brings her to australia to meet his family is like obsessed with him so i don't know i kind of feel for her but i think she's dating taylor fritz now which to me is an upgrade but anyways let me know what you guys think if i'm just being a hater but that's my opinion i feel for olivia jade so anyways let me know what you guys think if i'm just being a hater love you guys yeah i i i get what you're saying but i kind of feel like it's like um i don't know how to word this time right who got broken up with right from taylor fritz then now to see olivia jade and taylor now steps out with olivia jade yeah yeah soon after their breakup so it's like this is the world of them all dating each other you know and i feel like that's um kind of just the world they're they're they're public figures so they're going to see when they're dating somebody else i do get what you're saying in terms of like it was very rare that we would see olivia and jacob out together i feel like we did see them but i think like maybe jacob because he was trying to be taken seriously as an actor and then he's like oh i'm going to be seen with the girl that was part of this scandal i feel like he would be the kind of guy that would be like embarrassed right but then it's also like okay but then you start dating like a kardashian and you know and that who were like the most public yeah people ever so i i get kind of what you're saying where you're but maybe they just want to shout this one from the rooftops you know i i don't know that's that's that's the vibe i'm getting that they these two just want to shout this one from the rooftops yeah i don't know i i'm i don't i'm not as deep like deep into these two i feel as maybe not that i feel like you're even nearly that deep i just think they're a gorgeous couple yeah i don't know objectively they are but i'm not like rah rah their biggest fan i'm like it's fine they they look beautiful like i you know bragging about them is probably not how i would have worded it no but because they are they are just a stunning couple and they make sense on paper but the deep down logistics of it you yeah i get i get what you're saying and i bet you there is a lot of uh i bet you there's a lot of tales that jacob was telling olivia that he has they that olivia is now like well that was bullshit look what he's doing now one thousand percent like oh i don't want to be public but now i'm gonna date one of the most public figures ever like you're you're kind of like okay that's annoying right and yeah i think bragging wasn't the way to put i mean i said this is what i mean why sometimes i think people take me too seriously because i was like we're talking about true love but like i was just being you know yeah fictitious yeah i think maybe is the word yeah you know just saying shit to say it yeah um it's very possible that they are very much in love but i also think that there is a possibility where he may him and olivia may have not been so great and he was feeding her oh i'm a i'm a serious yeah and that kendall's family didn't approve of him because she was like footing the bill for all their extravagant travels and whatnot and brody jenner commented like i can confirm this is fake news like this is insane i was like why is brody even commenting on this fake report i know it It was just like so ridiculous and why anybody would believe that. right it is a circle i how about uh morgan going and sitting like front row at the u.s open i said pop off pop off girls he wasn't like taylor fritz wasn't playing she loves tennis but she loves tennis and i appreciate that decision of like well just because my ex-boyfriend is a tennis player like i'm still gonna go to i'm still gonna go to tennis events right and like there was a lot about whether morgan riddle and page the wrens were friends when taylor because taylor fritz and tommy yeah yeah besties and taylor fritz was in his wedding and then they go to the wedding and he brings olivia jade and so that's soon after i mean yeah morgan riddle and and him didn't break up too long ago either no no when i saw that come on my feed it was like a um they did like a tiktok morgan and one of her friends and i was like holy shit she's at the u.s open and then i was like well they're there what taylor wasn't playing i thought i then i thought you know what good for her because she's gonna i felt like she was in the midst of really making like working through so much of uh of her brand like within tennis and like incorporating tennis into it and all these things and she can still do that as a fan of tennis absolutely while not dating him taylor fritz that is so true yeah maybe we'll see olivia jade at the u.s open yeah that could be very possible all right let's do one more hey guys this is gabby calling from san diego not necessarily a pop culture take but i travel pretty often i'm probably on a plane literally like five times a month and i've noticed lately that it seems like everyone has their window shades down it doesn't matter if it's morning afternoon or nighttime it feels like everyone always has their window shades down it's always dark i actually had a flight attendant recently tell me to put my window shade down on an international flight which has never happened before but i'm not sure if it's because i'm not sure but i'm a window seat girl so i like to keep mine open but i'm curious your guys's thoughts on window shade etiquette and if you're an aisle or a window girl bye depends on the length of the flight because if it's a long flight sometimes on an aisle person because i'm like i don't like getting over somebody to have to go to the bathroom or an early morning flight when i want to where i want to sleep i lean window those are the times where i'm like keep that fucking window closed the early morning flights when a majority of the plane is probably still trying to sleep keep them closed yes the only thing is some people are morning people and they like to start their day early i don't care you can you could turn the light on above your head and still have some but then would you argue that you could wear an eye mask instead of having yeah but that's like something that you that's something extra you have to bring on the plane you know like i'm just talking about what the what's on what's in the confines of the plane because there's also you also just don't know how the sun sometimes you have no idea when it's like that early morning and the sun is rising you have no idea how like you're hitting someone two aisles up and over the sun is beating down into them that that has happened where i've put sunglasses on yes and you're like oh i've put some sunglasses on and i and i feel like it looked like a doucher but yeah just because i'm trying to block the sun if it's at if it's like not a time when people are trying to sleep then i don't care whatever you have it open midday yeah you get the window it's your call but in my opinion i actually saw a video go viral the people he's screaming at each other they were actually on the side of the woman yelling i don't know something you know you always think i'm like is this real is this not whatever it was a tiktok and it was a woman sitting in a window and the woman in the aisle they look maybe maybe they were in first class i don't know there was only two seats and the woman in the aisle was like i guess asking her to open her window or one of them open or close i don't know and the woman filming was yelling at her like if you want to decide what to do the window you get a window seat like it's my i'm in the window seat i get to decide but then the lady was like well the flight attendant just said everyone put your windows up or down i forget which one it was which does happen like sometimes when you're landing they're like we need all the windows up yeah um that has happened before and i have seen on international flights that are red eyes yeah people being told to put their uh shades down yeah i've seen that happen up down whatever it's like sometimes they tell you like a unit like it's we need them all up we need them all down yeah they were really yelling that she was really out they were really yelling at each other at that point i was just like whatever like i don't want to get a yelling match if you want me to my my thing falls upon if i'm sitting in the window and i got the window shade up or i got the window shade down and the person next to me politely says hey do you mind if i'll do it for them i know i'll do it for them what am i gonna go back and forth for it's really not gonna be that much of a do i care that much about staring out the window i'm probably doing something else anyway right and that's why but if somebody says hey can you put it up i'm like yeah it's happened to me before i'm like you know what sure yeah yeah like what am i gonna do what am i gonna yell back and forth with you for i it's really not gonna bother me that much unless i am like deeply deeply tired and and sick and i'm on a 5 a.m flight and that window's up yeah and i'm but then at that point i'm probably gonna cover my eyes with my sweatshirt or something so that i don't have to bother somebody else and ask them to put it down if i'm not next to the window i think nowadays everyone's so afraid to ask anybody any any any sort of favor or question or whatever on their plane because you just like don't know what's gonna happen you don't know how the person's gonna react you don't know if they're gonna put you don't know if they're gonna pull up their your phone and start filming you you don't know if you're gonna get screened at like all you see now is horror stories that people asking like and i just it's actually on my on my flight home this there was a couple they were traveling together and it was a small plane so it was only it was like two by two is the whole the whole plane and they were in like 11 c and then the boyfriend was in 11 12 d and the guy came in to sit in 12 c it was a young guy probably they were all probably around the same age and he noticed that the that they were like talking to each other and he was like to switch with me and they were like oh my god would that be okay like we don't want to ask all these things and the guy was like it's totally fine like it's not a big deal like i'm going when or whatever maybe he had a window now he's gonna be an aisle but there was you're either way you're not in the middle like there was only two seats right i i think it's like window aisle feels fairly equivalent to me unless you're gung-ho on like needing a window which is fine but like the way that the couple was like that's so nice thank you so much i was like wow we've really gotten to the point where like that is like we're so afraid to ask people to to sometimes switch seats it's such a it's such a crazy thing you don't know how people are going to react to be like hey do you mind if we if we swap seats that happened with me and you yeah recently yeah when we were like across and then i was like i could tell you guys are friends gabbing away the guy was like you guys want to sit together yeah we're like yeah it would be our honor yeah if you would allow us to yeah yeah well i think it's when i tried to do the trades on like you have a window and yeah and so many people now i feel like i've made videos like it's so rude to ask somebody to switch seats so now everybody's afraid to do it i think it's just it's a case-by-case situation it really is and when it's not like you know if you're not moving from you know 1a to 34b to 34c then like okay i get it maybe you're not making that move but if it's like the row in front of you and you're moving to either the exact same seat or like the adjacent seat and it's not a middle seat because i asking someone to move into a middle seat is if they're coming from the window or aisle that's a bigger ask that's insane i would never i don't think that's where i draw the line you cannot ask somebody to go into a middle seat no you you unless it is an emergency obviously um all right that that wraps up today's pop corner sneeze and the show that
