One thing Rona and I can agree on is that a lot of our spending tends to,
whether it's trying a new restaurant, booking a trip, or stocking up on groceries, those purchases add up.
That's one reason the Chase Sapphire Preferred card stands out.

All righty, welcome back to the Son of a Boy Dad podcast.
Today, it is July 15th.
It is 1045 a.m.
And we are here live from HQ3.
Sass is back from Montana and on his way to Las Vegas.
Las Vegas.
I was in Wyoming, not Montana.
It's the same.
Not Montana.
It is very similar.
What's the difference?
I don't know.
I don't know.
You said the trip was ridiculous, though.
The trip?
Yeah.
It was a lot.
I am fucking dead.
I'd love to hear about it.
Inside and outside.
Francis and I would love to hear about it, not to speak for you.
Please.
Yeah, no, I mean, it was. I mean, look, the biggest thing was the hike.
The hike was devastatingly long.
Five miles uphill the whole way.
Joe Irby did not mention that once.
So the guy Joe, Bo's friend from Birmingham, is the one that recommended all this stuff.
The guy who's a son of a boy dad.
They met each other through Son of a Boy Dad.
Through the meetup group.
So he was like. He gave us all these spots to go to.
Bo never told us that when they went and did this hike, they just brought their fishing rods.
They went one day back and forth.
We brought everything that we own.
It was like people were like laying down on the trail, like gas, like can't walk.
Not me.
The other guys.
And they're in better shape than I am.
It was. I mean. So we. We hike five miles.
It's horse shit the entire way.
Five miles of horse shit because they walk horse shit.
Literal horse shit.
Literal horse shit.
Literal horse shit.
So you're just stepping and just. It's going all over the shoes, everything.
Were you rocking those?
No, I wore my hiking shoes.
And then. The ones I gave back to you?
Yes.
Good.
Yeah, I needed those.
And then we get to the campsite.
No shade.
Just. I mean, like if you were. Like if you decided to go camping on a high school turf, that's what it was the equivalent to.
Like just sitting there, like you genuinely felt like hopeless.
Sitting there just being like, bro, like, am I going to die here?
Like, are we going to die out here?
Because a little bit of shade in that oppressive of sun feels like you've jumped in a pool.
It's a 20 degree temperature difference.
Yeah.
This was. You were in a meadow in 8,000 feet altitude.
The sun just raining down on you.
You were so close to the sun.
With all of its strength.
Doesn't it feel like this year that like they added a little something to the sun?
Oh, it's worse than it's ever been.
Like they've taken something off of. It's devastating.
Some protection off of the earth and the sun is hotter than it's ever been.
Dude, I just saw that clip we posted of us talking about Chase.
You and me.
Uh-huh.
Nobody told me my face was the color of a. Of a dog penis.
I am fluorescent red.
Why didn't you warn me?
I didn't notice.
I look like I'm holding my breath.
I didn't notice.
I will say it does feel a little better in here today.
No, it doesn't.
It doesn't.
It's a nightmare in here.
Yeah, it's hot.
Well, it just feels better than the outdoors because like. Yeah.
It's soup outside.
Yeah, it's bad.
It's thick as hell outside.
It's real bad.
Your face is a bit red today if you're asking for us to tell you that type of thing.
I run rosy, but I shouldn't look like. No, you don't look. Stop sign.
Yeah, you look normal.
Yeah.
You look like typical rosy.
Nothing crazy.
You look like a candy apple.
You look like the new shoes Kevin Durant just came out with.
Very red.
But also, the sun is just. It's been nasty in New York.
It's been nasty. It's bad. everywhere.
And I'm sure that in the no sun Montana heat, it was nasty.
It was bad.
I look like Bono's campaign to end world hunger.
Yeah.
You look like a Taylor Swift album.
Yeah.
Red.
Can you continue your story?
Why. Were there no glens of trees that you could have found shelter in?
Not really.
So the. There was. The only other people that were camping out there were people that had horses.
And they had horse camps.
So they were up on this big hill that kind of overlooked where we were camping.
But there was a lot of them.
And a lot of them were apart from each other.
And part of like a. They were staying at a ranch.
And they were on like a guided trip down there.
And so we didn't really want to sleep up there.
They had a little bit more shade than we did.
But the whole thing was. Like where we were, it was just meadows.
Like that's just what the terrain was.
So there just naturally wasn't really. They're really. Like we were looking around like where else can we camp?
And there really wasn't any options.
So then it was like we get to the camp after the hike.
I think the hike there took us four and a half hours.
And then we're like. We're like sitting down trying to like rest.
We don't have any real food.
We only brought dehydrated food with us.
So we can't even eat anything right now.
Unless we want to set up like the jet boil.
Wait, how does dehydrated food work?
Why do you call it dehydrated food?
Because that's what it is.
It's like space food.
Oh, I thought you meant just like dried fruit.
No, no.
It's like vacuum sealed.
Yeah, like the mountain house meals.
I'm sorry.
They're good, but they're fake food.
You pour like boiling water into it.
Okay, I didn't understand.
It's like the dinosaurs.
Like the pills that you put in a bathtub as a little kid.
And they like grow into full dinosaurs.
Into a big sponge.
Yeah, it's exactly that.
You put it in a grain, water it, and it becomes a steak.
Yeah, yeah.
It's actually like at the end of a day, it's fucking incredible, the food.
You just said it was not good.
No, it's not good.
It's fake food.
It's like 2,000 milligrams of sodium in it.
Oh.
Yeah, so it's like not great for you.
But, you know, when you haven't eaten anything all day, it's great.
Yeah, we had some. What did we have?
Beef something.
Are they like meals ready to eat?
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, cool.
So it's pretty good, but. I didn't realize you were a service member.
Thank you.
Salute, brother.
Thank you.
Thank you for your service.
I mean, that's what it felt like.
When we were, like, the hike, we were like, bro, like, I'm not. I was like, I'm not in the military, dude.
Like, this is fucking insane that we're doing this to catch, like, six-inch trout.
This is fucking retarded.
But, you know, you want to keep a pot.
Like, first day of the trip, you can't already be going there, you know?
But your mind's there.
Your mind's already there.
That is a shocking level of optimism from you.
I would have thought. Oh, you have to stay optimistic.
Coming in, you were already. Well, the thing was, is like, and we talked about it eventually, was like, they started getting very negative.
And I was like, you guys got to be the positive.
Like, I get negative quick.
You guys can't be getting negative or else this trip is over.
Like, this is done.
So we fished for, like, an hour and a half.
That night, everyone is just so fucking gassed.
Get back to the camp.
It's still 1,000 degrees.
Sun starts going down.
We start feeling. We did a little night fishing.
Felt a little better.
It got. I mean, so it was probably 95 degrees sitting in the meadow.
That night, it must have gotten down to 15 degrees.
You guys are getting in one sleeping bag for body warmth?
The temperature change was like, I've never seen anything like it.
Like, in the full mummy. Sleeping bag.
Everything I have on just shivering through the night.
That's what the most dangerous game show was like.
Yeah.
single night it's because when there's when you're out in like no snow shade or like you're just out
in like a desert pretty much we were also filming in april yeah no that's fucking wasn't warm enough
no not even i mean and that's yeah june's not warm enough no right you're literally in the hottest
time of the year in a hot place and it's still not warm enough it's still imagine april you guys
were on like a in like a cot yeah that was a nightmare i remember in i they they had these
sleeping beds on cots and uh i got into mine and found immediately like three or four dirty q-tips
inside the sleeping bag oh i was like they didn't even turn it inside out and shake it that's nasty
yeah that's so now that might be one of the worst things that you could find condoms are worse
used condoms used condoms tampons used tampons condoms uh definitely the worst needles would be
bad but then but then it's needles is like you might be getting some money out of that though
yeah workers comp from who barstool or from the camp i'm getting a sleeping bag that has needles
in it i'm taking this place to the ground no one check for needles in my sleeping bag
it's as bad as it gets i remember uh grace o'malley and rudy were like sharing a sleeping
bag for warmth just to just to try and cuddle really i don't know if that's true it's definitely
go with my life help me out here jesus christ i'm trying to
fucking put smut on people's names but no yeah we didn't we didn't have to share any any bags
luckily we've all got uh 35 degree bags so we were we were okay 35 degree bags i don't really
it's supposed to be like the temp like what angle like the temperature
we were like saying we were like so what happens if it goes below 35 like it just
the whole thing just just gets destroyed yeah you just wake up frozen solid i mean even it
if it's like 50 that's like pretty uncomfortable yeah what a terrible name for a product what
35 degree bags yeah now for a few reasons one are they saying that if it were to keep the inside of
the bag at 35 degrees you're frozen yeah yeah yeah that's a refrigerator if it's
these bags work all the way down to 35 degrees it must be like the recommended temperature range
that's not a range no it's not one degree of range but like anything above and try not to get
below 35 but then you can't try like what do you mean try not to like blow on it well i guess they're
saying like if it's gonna be you know if you're hiking everest get a warmer bag yeah get two of
them yeah because that compounds down to compounds to zero zero degree bag yeah that is where they
like these these look pretty sleek though my like we all have like the mummy one like the one on the
box that's expensive what color oh they're they're very uh pricey but they're nice like i'll have my
bag forever it's a north face one now could you tug off in there or is it too restrictive now you
could tug if you wanted easily plenty of access could you use a q-tip in there definitely could
you could use a q-tip perfect so it has everything it has everything it's got pockets you know for
yeah throw all your shit in there because it's gonna get you like the the problem is it's the
like you'll wake up and you're you're corkscrewed you're twisted up no circulation in the legs
that is a shitty feeling damn so you went outside and uh the next day you were able to catch some
fish the size of index cards no so that we know so the next day we woke up at i think 6 a.m
i i got out of the 10 i think at 5 45 and we were like let's get the fuck out of here
yeah did you stop did you roll one up first or did you immediately no no we we didn't even
blow it down i didn't even blow one down first um it must it must have been bad it was bad and we
we did the hike back in two hours and uh we didn't realize we were like we were on the way back we
realized we were like so this was it was uphill literally the entire way like the whole way there
that's brutal bo told us on the way the the whole like he's like because he's he's a salesman
he sells you he told me he was like it's flat the whole way it's flat
he's like joe did like joe irby did he said it's flat the whole way why are you saying his last
joe irby because that's what he goes by that's what bo refers to him as joe irby that's like
one of joe irby damn glad to meet you he's a great guy i mean i'm a great guy it sounds like
someone you went to school with yeah well i didn't know no joe irby's where i'm from well joe irby
yeah he uh yeah i mean look he uh it was not flat i don't know in what world anyone would consider
that flat why didn't you guys take the high ground where the horses were where they were on the lookout
engines well i feel like having a little bit of shade and sleeping at on a 35 degree slope
would have made your sleeping bags more completely agree i was wondering the same thing he it sounded
like given that they were the people staying at the ranch who took the horses which obviously
would have been much more expensive yeah that you guys thought they were too good for you
it was like they were a little bit of like in a glamping situation you know and we didn't really
want to glamp no glamping we definitely glamped after this what what did it turn into next so
and then the hike back it was like operation save the trip like they were we were all saying like
it's today save the trip day and uh what were your like methods for that obviously blow it down
blow it down of course but the biggest thing was get back quick okay because we didn't want to burn
a whole day doing the same hike again that we already know sucks right but we wanted to get
back to the car get to the next fishing spot so we and we like we went to jackson we got some food
watched uh we watched the belgium
game um actually i like just got there like just in time for the game i think like right when i
started paying attention was when it was about to go to overtime and then they lost so and i just
explained to them i was like yeah so if belgium wins uh i'll get i'll make a pretty good amount
of money and they were like no way really you just get that from working at barstool i was like yeah
it's pretty cool huh and then belgium lost seconds later we would have needed for them to win the
next game and then we would have lost seconds later we would have needed for them to win the
next game and then the finals yeah yeah but i mean we were getting we were getting there close and
the way that spain smacked around france yeah like that's that's us yeah that was ours for the
team we chose the right team yeah we did what was the what was uh left available we we chose the
team that went the farthest yeah so that sucked uh that's that definitely after us i feel like
switzerland and morocco were both after us and maybe they went equally far switzerland and morocco
were all still the best teams in the world and they were the best teams in the world and they
there they may have gone just as far but their games were earlier yeah france beat morocco and i
mean two nothing two nil them yeah yeah we were rooting for belgium the whole time especially
against us we were the we were we were on our burners being like ballaghan should be suspended
for life yeah that would so you watched the game with them in jackson you hit the pub ski yeah we
and then we went back and when we got out to our next fishing spot which was nice because it had
phone service so that was cool um and that spot we knew was going to be more challenging
very wide deep uh the camping spot there was pretty tough that was the first day was the
most mosquitoes i've ever seen in my entire life i don't know you can't really see like it doesn't
really do it justice but you can kind of see like on the hand yeah that's oh my god like where
they're like like you should have seen it but you can't really see it but you can kind of see it
when they had some juice in them so that looks like a pox yeah it was that looks like the
pitoriasis rosacea's back and your knee your left knee too it looks like like you got some on the
inside on the inside there no no other side oh yeah there's bug bites yeah it's everywhere my
whole entire body's covered and dude they just don't like nothing works like we had 40 percent
deep spray and we had the deep woods off spray and you would be like in a swarm of thousands of that
it was like the craziest thing was the first day we went to the fishing spot where the bugs are it's
like nothing i've ever seen like like it's like alaska like thousands just like all over you like
you're you're going nuts and we get in the car we drive to the campsite the mosquitoes are following
the car they're like hammering against the windows as we're driving down the street bro they were
trying it was like world war z when they're like when they're with the people are like clawing at
the at the windows it's like red that or it's like uh like a zombie movie yeah
and it was literally like that and it was it was we get out of the car they're they followed us to
the campsite they're everywhere yeah and then we had to drive away they followed us and then we
like went to like a main road where we got we lost them we went back to the campsite it's like when
there's like a fighter pilot like tailing yeah and you're like i can't shake him yeah yeah i mean i've
never seen i've never seen anything like that in my life so that was kind of that sounds awful that
was a blow that was a blow
a tough blow um trying to go to bed that night but so i mean wait was your tent not sealed off
no no the tent was sealed off but like we had to cook dinner and everything like that so once we
got the fire going it helped a lot but before that it was fucking brutal yeah and we went to
like the we went to like the gas station and asked and they were just like they're like yeah that's
just how it is that's just what it's like out here this makes me my skin crawl just hearing
you talk about yeah that sounds so bad the only thing that kind of worked was when you combined
the two bug sprays.
So you hit yourself with a full. 40 percent deep and then you hit yourself with the off you should have brought a gigantic
portable fan i know the fans creating wind yeah helps that's what that's why we hit the main road
to drive faster to get them off of the car
but they're like hanging on like when a plane is leaving
when they pulled the troops it was just like a mosquito in your wheel well like hanging on for
your life bro we were like i mean it honestly like kind of fucked me up to the point of like
when we were in the motel the last night i was like i swear to god i was like seeing mosquitoes
like out of the corner of my eye and i'd be like some one of them got in somehow oh there's nothing
worse than hearing that little that whine at night when it's dark yeah yeah because then you
wake up and you're just covered yeah it's terrible they're in the tent or like god forbid you try to
like scroll your phone right before bed oh yeah because that's that light is the most attractive
thing oh yeah yeah yeah yeah it was it was pretty brutal but the overall fishing was slow it was uh
it was it was the slowest it's ever been for us i thought you were gonna say like a silver
line
No no that was the worst part about it um the fit and so like second to last day was like we broke
full blowout yelling who was yelling everyone was yelling the second to last day three of you
yeah it was it was three i mean it was me and beau mostly matt matt kind of keeps more of a neutral
stance but you know bro we had we'd bet it was the second last step we'd barely fished the whole time
we have been hiking or figuring out the mosquitoes or or like trying to find somewhere with public
access to go fishing because everything's private out there especially like the the biggest thing
was usually we go fishing in northern wyoming which is like in the middle of nowhere there's
probably like 10 000 people live on that whole section of the of the state jackson is busy and
it's definitely way more pressure to the fishing like there's way more people that are going out
there to fish good fishermen too good fishers good fishermen good fishermen good fishermen good fishermen
bro the camp spot that we were at six boats pulled up and loaded and loaded in with like five people
per boat i hear behind them the whole time i hear that one of the moves for the really talented
fishermen is they actually have this spray that that attracts mosquitoes and they'll put it on
your car so that they're trying to send you out of there i mean that's definitely what it felt like
yeah it felt like we were getting ran out they cover a car in jam yeah so all the yeah
so all the bugs from the area just swarmed to it yeah i mean it really did feel like that
um but yeah the fishing was pretty slow i didn't get really any good fish except for maybe the first
day what was it um i caught like a cut i caught a couple cutthroat trout at the first spot that we
went to the first the first spot we were catching like white fish which is like just crushing to
hike five miles and catch fish that you could catch in fucking the delaware like like gar like
actual like
trash fish like they like they people just kill them like they're like they're just a devastating
fish and uh you got some throat though i caught a couple cutthroat nothing can we see can we see
the flick of them they really like bro you took the picture i caught it i caught a cutthroat the
first day that was probably like 13 to 14 inches and i didn't take a photo of it because i was like
every time we go on one of these trips i take photos of all the first fish that i catch and
then i end up deleting them because they're like the smallest fish that i have photos of
that was the biggest fish i caught the entire trip and i don't have a photo of it damn because
i was like i'm holding out for i remember looking at bow as as we like we're unhooking it and being
like i'm i'm holding out for like that's not what i'm yeah i only have four million more photos i
can take on my phone yeah deleting pictures is crazy too there's only space i mean bro like the
the fish that well i'll get so the the last spot that we went to the on the fishing trip um
the last river we were at matt ended up getting a massive massive brown trout cool it's really cool
that's matt that's my guy matt yeah that was kind of like the that was kind of the savior to the
trip yeah like uh if we didn't catch that i think everyone would agree that this trip was a complete
picture of that one yeah yeah thank you this is a a beautiful beautiful bird i wonder if it's bigger
than the ones i caught in new zealand it's this is the biggest i doubt it i promise you it is
like kind of i promise mine took up half the storage on my phone this was the biggest fish
that i've never they shoot it in panorama this was the biggest fish that i've ever any of us
have ever caught me matt or bow no way yeah so that was pretty cool and we knew that's what it
was going to be like going into it like we knew that this river was uh like it was described to
us as like very technical fishing um and like you're not going to catch a lot of fish but if
it will be a massive brown trout which we got so that was pretty that that that definitely
that was the trip savior so god is good god is good obviously you know i would have liked to
be the one that caught that fish yeah of course it probably made you sick that your brother caught
one and you didn't it was a little sickening but then like you know as the trip goes on you're
more just like really well fucking thank god someone got one yeah oh my god oh
yeah that's about the size of mine it's like it's like bending in the middle yeah it's bigger no
you can tell like they know the tricks of the photos no it's definitely bigger it's close
i don't think it is it is no i don't think let me see i'll be able to tell immediately
see look how how close you're holding it to the camera that's a live photo
is francis is live no it's not live that's the one on the left is bigger for sure let me see
the peter's one
i mean that's a whale
well peter's also has uh really small hands he has huge hands not really thin though his fingers
are thin francis's fingers are garth's yeah i do big fingers i work out my fingers i mean francis
don't get me wrong if i caught that fish on in this trip i would be talking about it non-stop but
i think matt's is definitely bigger it's close it's um it's really close i can get more photos
of it too that's the only photo i've ever seen i've never seen it before i've never seen it before
i've got all right let's get the phone back seen a lot way too much movement on that thing
i went one left and one right because i thought there'd be more photos of the phone thing
the amount of spot the spotting on this is really is really beautiful yeah this is absolutely
beautiful yeah but that's a stalked trout right no oh those are wild no they had a helicopter over
that river that was fucking whipping them out with a propeller i saw it can you send those uh
can you send both of those pictures over to sean yeah yeah to get matt's face out of that i think
i'm gonna i think i'm gonna send both of those pictures over to sean i think i'm gonna send both
i think i'm gonna actually uh seed defeat i think that peters's fish is bigger those spots are
pretty sick aren't the spots are beautiful so that was pretty cool i mean we've all with the
whole time those are cancer but those are we've we've uh i think this is the fourth year we've
done this trip and that's kind of been the goal every year is to try to catch like none of us
ever got one of those big browns one slob big slob yeah so i think that was uh that was pretty
cool and also it was cool because matt's been fishing more than any of us and he's i don't
think he would mind us
me saying it typically he's the worst out of all of us so it was pretty cool for him to
you know get fish of the trip well my first year without fish of the trip so it stings a little bit
but i'm glad to pass the torch to matt it was gonna be anyone you're happiest one of the i was

yeah when you did all that hiking did that did you have did you suffer the the ass the chafe
so i did but i didn't know until we got back the second day you didn't know that your ass itched
i didn't really get it in the ass as much as i got it like in the inner groin that's really bad and i
got it when i see you don't like it was one of those things where like i didn't know and then
when i saw it i was like like as soon as you see it it's just stinging you know
like it was as soon as i jumped up like a cartoon cat seeing a mouse yeah it was really tough
wait a minute that to me means and i'm tell me if i'm wrong that your underwear was probably wet
it was yeah my underwear was definitely wet why from walking through the river without waders
on yeah no you don't wear waders when it's that hot oh you were dry wet waiting wet waiting yeah
um these were like pants and boots right because your pants dry within like two minutes after yeah
but if you got a dry no right so someone made this point to me a lot of people reached out to me
about your me as well me as well and the thing that people really thought was happening is that
you shave your ass and that the lack of hair in which normally creates a nice sort of safe
protective buffer yeah yeah you uh you don't want that you're just pure skin on wet trout yeah no i
definitely don't shave my ass i think you do no no no and that's okay no i would if i look if i
was shaving my ass i would say that oh so you're having someone do it for you you're waxing if i
was if i was shaving my ass i would let you guys know obviously that would be a large factor into
the chafe but let's put it this way you need more hair yeah probably because maybe an ass transplant
yeah yeah go to turkey get some people get hair from their ass and put it on their head
you need to get hair from your head to put on your ass fly home sitting on a donut
just kneeling facing the other way the whole flight yeah like a girl who got a bbl yeah i
think that's what it is
shaving his ass i think he's shaving which is like fine like just tell us it's okay it's okay
dude it's probably impressive it's probably like hard to get around to it probably would help if i
was shaving my ass but the stubble though as it's growing in you'd have to shave it a lot yeah
no i mean i have shaved my ass before oh there you go but not not in over a decade
since you said that we it's clear that's what's going on no because i remember the first i remember
shaving my ass once and the stubble being like oh my god
you shaved your ass yeah why did you do that when i was like younger because i had such bad swamp ass
i mean i didn't really have a choice you thought
yeah i thought it would help didn't
and then it was the stubble was like you use an electric razor like if someone stuck a velcro in
between your ass cheeks
yeah of course i used an electric razor not a fucking lunatic he's got a five o'clock shadow
between his cheeks i it's so funny like there's never been an idea that you thought was going to
work so well that could just like work so poorly you need three hands to do that you need to spread
it apart with two hands you need another one to take the razor down the center so how can you do
that alone without a magician's assistant i don't know i don't remember
yeah i just remember getting it done
i can't believe you shaved your asshole yeah
i mean i'm talking we're like i was probably like 12 maybe 11 no way
it can't have been that no it's definitely uh no it's probably 13 now that i think about it
no way you had that much hair on your asshole at fucking 12 11 or 13 it must have been older than
that no no it was enough so you were a precautionary
ass hair grower oh big time really yeah that's so interesting that it came in first
before the head on my hair before the hair on my head yeah you're a baby
bald baby with the hair yeah just a full gooch like a turkish man puberty came over you from
back to front yeah yeah you started in the back it washed over him anything like it
we've never seen this before so uh like
as a net negative or positive how would you grade this trip because it seemed like there
are tons of drawbacks it seemed like almost bad like the first 90 of the story was terrible and
i mean one good thing happened to someone else yeah so like that's the thing uh it was obviously
i mean look it's always going to be fun like you're always going to have a blast regardless
of how the fishing is or how tired you are but like yeah we had a great time um maybe a little
color on the argument you had the color oh the argument was a bit different i think it was a
about where we were fishing bo was like we had just crossed essentially we had just crossed the
hudson um like in water like up to my neck like just trying to get across to the other side just
holding your like rifle over your head yeah you cross the river yeah because bo and matt claim
that there's a river uh that we can wade on the other side of this bank it's a marsh there's no
river there's nothing so we have to go right back through the through the ripping water that boats
are going through
and uh and then we get there and i'm like we gotta just we gotta just go to this spot like
we got there's no this is the fishing that's what i said i was like this is the spot there's no
saving us there's no hidden river that is like really great that we don't know about it's just
this let's stop looking for something that's not here and let's just go fishing because
you're saying bird in the hand yeah we had been out we've barely fished we're on like day five
like let's just fish at this point it's this is the full day of fishing
and they will bow wanted to like drive like an hour somewhere to like see if maybe it's better
and i was like i can't keep doing the maybe this maybe that let's just fish so that was the argument
and then matt ended up catching the big fish so it ended up working out so you were right well so
then we ended up going to a flight we ended up going back to jackson on uh sunday and like kind
of like walking around the town and we went to like a fly shop and the guy was like you guys
should have gone up uh to the exact area but i was talking about yeah and he was like it gets a lot
easier to wait around there so oh it's a little better so he was right he was right but matt caught
the fish you know matt caught the big fish it was it were fine it was we were past it did bow catch
any fish yeah well i mean we all caught fish it was just like we didn't catch they were white fish
no we caught trout they just like they weren't really worthy of photos how many how many fish
did you catch total probably like 10 that's pretty good it's pretty bad i think i think
remember last time i came back i think i said i caught 70 yeah i mean i caught i think i caught
like 12 or 13 in new zealand and i'm i'm a total beginner yeah i mean it's just the plate this
place was just fished way harder than we were ready for it was more on par with like fishing
in colorado where it's like everything you have to assume that like you're 30 people have already
hit this spot today
that's brutal but it also seems like a good team building exercise with your boys yeah of course i
mean look we had a great time we the we made uh carne asada tacos i mean it was it was unbelievable
how on the grill there was a little outdoor uh there's a fire pit with like a little thing we
got a we got a skirt steak do you have to marinate that to make a carne asada i don't know i don't
know either but it was fucking amazing probably round you got to marinate it to make it a carne
asada i don't know i don't do anything i think carne asada is
actually the name of the the marinade oh really i think asada is yeah asada yeah so for you to say
carne asada well i guess it was just carne then without any hold the asada oh yeah you can
absolutely make it without a liquid marinade that's not the that's not the question can you
just look up what carne asada is what is carne oh i believe carne is meat the meat grilled meat
it is a popular mexican beef that is marinated in citrus garlic
and spices oh well we did that now garlic though but we did do citrus and spices we just asked you
if you marinated it and you said no well we didn't do like a full 24 hour marinade oh how long was
the marinade i don't know maybe 30 minutes and you did you did more of just a seasoning
that's fine i think that's fine you seasoned the meat yeah i mean i'm not i don't really cook like
that but beau and matt like love to cook so they they they don't it's kind of cook right he has
that in his background right wasn't you a bow yeah bow uh yeah gnocchi tuesday um but like yeah
it was actually kind of annoying like i'm like i'll be ready to eat and they're like we have to
toast the we have to toast the buns first we have to we have to toast the tortillas yeah and i'm
like i let's just eat i'm fucking starving i don't give a shit but it probably made a difference to
have the the tortillas a little bit crispy it did yeah of course probably locked in the flavor a
little bit more so like that was probably like those were like the highlights like the fun parts
i mean the
fishing was obviously fun but like you know the fire the camping is always fun um and then we
went back to jackson and that was it we took off uh jackson's bustling jackson is very busy
very touristy it's it's uh a lot more touristy than i would have thought it's not even like they
don't even really have like the local shops and stuff that you would expect they have like it's
all like lululemon and like is it like a one road town is there like a big main street or is it like
there's a square yeah
is it yeah there's a big square in the middle around which are all some fancy shops i mean
they sell fur coats it's very very expensive it's it's on its way to an ass but it yeah that's
exactly what i was comparing it to the uh when i was on the way there i was flying i flew first
class and i remember sitting i remember getting off the plane and thinking and i was like texting
bo and matt and i was like there's i'm definitely the only person on this plane that's sleeping in
the woods tonight
yeah
i got off i was getting off the plane i was looking around and i was like oh everyone they're
all these are all these are like billionaires these people are fucking low like people that
are just going
they're just visiting their house for the weekend out there how's the hotel night those people are
flying private out there there were a lot of private jets yeah at the airport that airport's
pretty pretty crazy you got to walk on the tarmac i like it yeah it's cool in the winter they had
that uh though that they have that sort of arch made of sticks oh yeah yeah they are antlers
did you see that yeah it's like right in the square no it was at the airport oh they have one
they have one in the square too with the elk antlers interesting yeah and you walk through
it to come through to the airport maybe they're just moving it maybe they just move it around
sounds like they might have two unless they have two could be that we have to get to the bottom of
this yeah if anyone knows if there are two elk antler arches please reach out in the comments
but yeah i mean it was a solid trip how was the hotel night how was uh like hotel night was the
worst night easily hotel night was like i almost broke possible we did watch oh look how dense that
is yeah yeah that's what i was talking about look about try the try the one that's at the uh
at the airport oh that's really dense too it's gotta be the same one same one but but uh i don't
know if it was made of antlers wyoming jack tried jackson airport arch yes
i don't know if it was made of antlers wyoming jack tried jackson airport arch yes i don't know
there are multiples wow multiple arches oh yeah all right we've solved it we got it we got down
to the bottom we were both right we were that's nice it doesn't happen often that's really nice
no one was wrong i'm worried about that carne asada thing that one's gonna that could go come
back to haunt me whatever like who the mexicans aren't gonna be mad at you so anybody else who's
mad they're appropriating true mexicans don't get mad now uh you guys watch money ball we watch
money ball but i would never seen it so that was fun were you like uh tipping your hand we're like
oh watch this part like he's about to go like this no no but i was like we were i was pretty surprised
that he had never seen it finishing some lines yeah of course we're gonna recreate him i was
saying the song before we watched it he was like what's that song that you keep singing and i was
like you just have to wait and see watch wait till the very end come back around he gets on base
why do you like kevin euclid i mean that
movie is unbelievable you know what i watched on the way there that i had never seen was john wick
one amazing unreal you got you got some fun ahead of you well i had seen the third one weirdly
in theaters but i'd never seen the first one and that was that second flight went by quick
yeah yeah you're probably on the edge of your seat yeah you know what i watched
the curious case of benjamin button oh yeah which i hadn't seen in many years
i've never seen it and i think that i was uh watching that because i recall being
absolutely moved by the romance of it and and the incredible cinematography and shots and stuff
like that and i thought i'd really like to feel something yeah yeah didn't feel anything no you
didn't even weep i think unfortunately that the tough moments of my life have cauterized that part
of my being which feels things oh really and the romantic like the capacity for romance in me is
dead i think it's been burned
out you think maybe the fact that it was uh i used to watch like rom-coms and just being like
oh my god love yeah rom-coms are great love is everywhere i'll find it surely i'll find it i feel
like i more watch rom-coms for the calm rather than the rom now i'm like what the there's no
chance that would happen well benjamin button is a pretty far out there look be looking for
you're focusing on the wrong aspects any signs of reality in it did you say you'd seen it no i've
never seen it i've never seen it i've never seen it i've never seen it i've never seen it but there's
this moment where brad pitt and i can't remember the actress's name she's amazing uh they finally
are they grow up together and he's an old man as a child and she's a child and then finally they
meet in the middle at the same age and in that moment they're both so beautiful because brad
pitt they're dressing him up and aging him for most of the movie and then all of a sudden he's
like brad pitt yeah in his youth and they put the best clothes on him ever
and then all of a sudden he's like brad pitt yeah in his youth and they put the best clothes on him
this is before he's the baby no the old baby like midlife yeah before he becomes the old baby
so he starts old right yeah and then he reverses in size but he stays old he just
really only his size is changing no no his skin gets better his height his spine his strength
so when he's a baby he's like an actual baby no i don't know how to fucking age it backwards right
it's he ages backwards it's so simple i'm picturing like the key and peel skit where like
uh where he eats the lego and he plays the baby and he's like i'm gonna take the smallest lego
i'm gonna put it in my mouth whatever you're picturing you need to do away with that because
your understanding is not correct right i see he comes out as like a frail 100 year old man
who is the size of a baby that's how he's born and then as
he gets older call it in his teenage years he is the equivalent of like a 75 year old man
got it and then by the time he's like 35 40 he is this beautiful young man
but what about when he's like 50 he becomes when he's like 70 he becomes like a teen
and then when he's 80 he's an infant he's an infant is it still brad pitt's face no it's he's
just an infant
they got a baby in there okay that makes more sense yeah a child i've never seen the movie so
no and now you don't need to no i've got it now well i mean i think the conceit of him
aging in reverse like you know where that's gonna go yes but there is this there is
the romance i remember being quite moved by the romance of that movie
and uh it touched nothing really where those feelings would have welled from before dry i
realized like this movie's kind of retarded no it's a great movie it's fincher directed it yeah
finch put your respect on the finch right i didn't know that yeah it won a bunch of academy awards
yeah no i know i know it's like it's supposed to be and the idea that like uh it probably puts so
much more immediacy and fleetingness on the idea of love because like you're not going to be able
to age gracefully together your ship's passing which seems like it would make it even more sad
and sentimental
but that was just lost on you is it because his kids are trying to emancipate themselves and drop
the name pit from their family because he was i saw that deeply abusive no i saw really they're
really giving it to him yeah that who's abusing who jeez now right dragging him through the mud
guys he still did money ball guys he did oceans 13 show some damn respect i'll never not love
brad pitt and apparently the things that are coming out about him are pretty bad yeah i mean
but that's been happening for a long time now
and that's joe lee with an axe to grind she's got something to prove he's the one guy who could beat
up his kids that i would defend yeah didn't he like was is he the one that was dating like mike
or he was sleeping with mike tyson's wife or some shit what yeah pit yeah no i mean well i don't know
but he was married to jennifer hanniston for all those years i think that that was stopping him
i think there's some truth to early yeah robin givens yeah that's so insane
while they were while they were getting divorced he was dating her or you come on that's that's mike
tyson's fucking testimony i read his i read his autobiography and i i put it down after i finished
it and i was like i don't think there was much truth in that at all really yeah yeah yeah i mean
he went to prison for like three years for rape really yes and he was like none of that happened
mike yeah no
the guy who fought logan paul no the beloved guy from the hangover movies he's the guy that he
sells weed right yeah he's a lovable stoner it's kind of amazing how much like we've let him back
into the zeitgeist as a sort of lovable figure and it's all just because his dark years happened
before social media yeah yeah it is pretty crazy yeah i mean it's did that did the crime did the
time
and it's like well now the court of public opinion has to rake them over the coals
yeah conviction is pretty crazy yeah yeah yeah no beating around that he did it for sure
no guesses there but he's saying he didn't speaking of rape uh do you watch the mcgregor
fight no i didn't watch it but i saw clips of it yeah after the fact i didn't even see clips i
wanted to stay up for it but i couldn't even i remember like checking my phone and it was like
oh it's already over yeah yeah hey son of a boy dad listeners we'll be right back but first a

Where were you drinking?
At my place.
I had two buddies come in.
Oh, sick.
Who, by the way, are spectacular at golf.
And I'm playing with one of them this weekend in the Oakmont Member Guest,
which is a big fucking deal.
Is that Pittsburgh?
Yeah.
Sick.
They play the U.S. Open there pretty frequently,
and it's a notoriously, incredibly difficult course.
And I am in terror right now.
Because my game is a disaster.
It's a disaster.
What's a disaster about it?
I have no idea.
Talk to me.
Talk to me.
I don't know where the ball is going.
It's mental.
When I'm holding a six iron in my hands,
I'm not sure if it's going to go left or right.
Yeah.
So it's definitely not going straight.
So this is the worst time for Keegs and Pat to be coming at you.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And I think to myself, maybe if I drink enough on the course,
I will get down to this inner sort of DNA athleticism.
Muscle memory only.
That just guides it.
Yeah.
That just once we get to the core,
we need to cut through the barking dogs and the doubt and the neuroses
as I stand over the ball.
Stop thinking.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Benjamin Button.
Benjamin Button make me cry.
It always makes me cry.
If we just drink enough,
we will reduce ourselves to my most sort of primal ooze form.
And it doesn't help.
Because the demons persist.
They rise.
You got to get some beta blockers.
I thought about that.
No, don't.
It'll fuck you up.
The best round I've ever had in my entire life,
I was on mushrooms.
Best round I ever had in my entire life.
I had food poisoning and I was having explosive diarrhea.
And it was so bad that I couldn't pay attention to golf
other than just swinging.
And I was playing lights out.
Yeah.
Every shot was perfect.
You need to get that.
The guys I was playing with was like, this is crazy.
You need to get that bacteria that's going around.
Oh, yeah.
The Taco Bell.
The Taco Bell bacteria.
Okay.
So I'll just, you know,
scrape off some of whatever's on the walls here
and put it in my porridge in the morning.
Yeah, exactly.
And you'll be good to go.
Get that going.
The, uh, my golf coach used to say golf is,
he would use an example where he would stack up a bunch of,
a bunch of pieces, rolls of toilet paper.
And he would say, this is your foundation.
And then he would show how easily the foundation can just,
just crumble.
Yeah.
And he said, it's all mental.
He said, it's 99% mental.
Wow.
So you got a good amount of time before the invitational.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'll, I'll, I'm hopeful, but, but honestly, dude, I, I,
I'm starting to get very fearful.
Okay.
But think about it.
Like, so if I show up to that thing and I am shanking wedges,
okay, here's what happened.
But it wouldn't be the first,
like it's not the first time that's happened to someone.
It's hard to live up to those expectations.
You will.
Honestly,
the fact you're putting high expectations on,
on yourself is what's hurting you.
And like Frankie, I was talking to him the other day.
He was like smoking that last shot in front of so many people and losing so
much money has given me the exposure therapy where nothing hurts me anymore.
Like I can't be injured by like what someone says or what I do online
because I've had the most embarrassing moment possible.
And I've made it back from there.
That's how I feel about love.
That's why Benjamin Button wasn't hitting the spot for you.
My heart has broken into,
so many pieces that people can cheat on top of me and it's fine.
Whatever shattered.
That's just life.
I'm practicing positivity because I've been,
I've been in a negative place the last couple of days.
Have you?
Oh,
why?
Vegas trip has got me just,
Oh,
cause you're about to do Hibachi racing.
You're about to be outside doing Hibachi outside.
Hibachi is so insane in Las Vegas.
It's so,
I'm just so tired and I feel like I have not recovered at all from this trip,
which is another thing.
We're talking already next year.
It's,
it's gotta be like sandals Jamaica or some shit.
Like I can't keep on going on vacations where I come back and I'm more tired
than when I left.
Well,
I mean,
look,
dude,
you're you're you chose this.
I did not choose this.
You had a moment where you could both said,
should we do hotels?
We did.
We did for the last night,
but you all slept in the same room.
One night isn't gonna satisfy the fatigue from four nights in a mosquito farm.
We were both snoring get different rooms.
You can afford it.
It was $400 and there's only one room left.
And I was like,
fuck it.
I'll just sleep in here.
Blair did music in my earbuds.
Is that because you didn't get it ahead of time?
Are you saying that you walked into that hotel and you were like,
got any rooms?
No,
no,
no.
We had one room reserved.
Why didn't you?
Okay.
Cause they were supposed to be a couch and there wasn't a couch.
So you slept head to foot.
No,
there's two beds.
Well,
there's three of you.
Yeah.
Me and Matt had to share a bed.
We'd pull straws and you didn't pull straws,
which you paid.
Oh,
cut the straws and you actually got straws.
There was a straw in the,
like by the coffee machine and you cut it into three pieces.
Bow cut it in three pieces.
You know,
it's a,
it's a,
it's a funny thing that like who was surprised who was going to win.
The guy that knows the length of the straws that,
and I don't know if anyone has drawn straws since the 19,
I don't think that was the first time I've ever done it when everyone,
and that's usually like a metaphor for like,
let's play rock,
paper,
scissors to see who gets the best.
You paid.
Why are you guys drawing straws?
We all paid for the hotel.
Oh,
you didn't like that.
You guys drew straws.
That's very well.
Then we went,
we went and played mini golf,
which also we were going to pick the teams by like putting your hands up on
the golf club and seeing who was on the top.
He played a,
we were,
we were trying to golf.
We were trying to go to go to a golf range.
There's no public ranges in all of Jackson.
They were like the closest ones in Idaho.
We were like,
all right,
well,
that's not going to happen.
Um,
we went and played mini golf.
We were going to do whoever won mini golf,
got the bed.
I smoked both of them,
didn't get the bed.
Uh,
and then we did one of those like mountain roller coasters.
That was pretty cool.
Like a luge,
like the ones that are like the,
oh yeah,
yeah,
yeah.
You're only going downhill and it's just like a track that you're kind of
sitting in the wilderness.
Yeah,
it's pretty cool.
Well,
what,
what,
why do you agree that it's illusion or not?
Uh,
I thought a luge was like,
it's equivalent to like a,
like a single person bobsled.
Yeah,
pretty much.
But you're talking about like a little cart or whatever that goes down the
metal track.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
I know that as a luge.
They told us it was a roller coaster.
It doesn't,
it didn't feel like a roller coaster.
It doesn't copy for me.
And it was $35 to go down at once.
That's pretty shitty.
Yeah.
No wonder you guys split a room.
Yeah.
Jackson's a fucking scam.
Yeah.
It's a scam,
bro.
Yeah.
And it's all tourists.
There's only,
there's like,
I think there's only like 15,000 people that live there yearly.
Every time I have skied there,
which is a few times you get the most,
uh,
sort of glaring looks and the most disdain from the locals.
Yeah.
Every single one of whom is a transplant.
Yes.
That's the shit that's like lived in Connecticut three years ago.
Yeah.
And you're like,
these guys are coming up the lift lines.
It's like,
shut the fuck up.
You choose to live in a ski resort.
Yeah.
That's what's going to happen.
You came to transplant.
Yeah.
And you want it to have grew up in Darien.
People do that shit in New York.
Like right away.
They're like St.
Mark's place.
He was different when I moved here.
It's like you moved here.
It is.
Uh,
I did get that vibe much more than in the,
than in Northern Wyoming where it's like clearly just all locals who are like,
God,
they're,
they don't even really say anything.
Yeah.
It's better.
But yeah,
this was very touristy.
It's,
it's cool though.
I will say I'm,
I'm not sure if I would,
uh,
if I would vacate in Jackson again,
to be honest,
I'm not a huge fan.
When I was in Portugal,
we went on a boat to one day and there's these beautiful caves that you go to.
You kind of go up to a cave on your boat.
Like,
look at it,
take a picture.
Look at all the birds that are nestled in there.
The natural waterfalls.
And,
uh,
a guy came swimming out.
And while we were on the boat,
he was like,
you know,
and I was like from the distance.
And like,
he like swam out a little bit closer and he was like,
get the fuck out of here.
Screaming at us on the boat.
What?
He's like,
get the fuck out of here.
And he was like walking on a beach and he had like his dog with him.
And we just were floating in the water on a boat.
And he had an American accent.
He was just like,
get the fuck out of here.
And like my body carried tension for like an hour after that for just like being yelled at.
And even our Portuguese guides on the boat were like,
I don't know what he's talking about.
It's just,
people like having an ownership
of of an area that they do not own yeah yeah that's colonialism that's insane these guys in
in jackson wyoming they're they're colonizers oh big time like they're like to like that
to have to just assume this that's ridiculous it got under my skin that makes me mad
yeah that would enrage me piss me we were at a gas station there was a a dad and his daughter
who were walking out of the gas station and crossing like they went into the store and
they were going back to their car which is at one of the pumps and they were crossing the street
and a truck pulled in and the dude honked at them like right in front of them and then rolled down
the window and he goes get the hell out of the way and i was like what the fuck the other guy
is just like she was like shocked he didn't even really say much he kind of pussied out to be
honest i would have thrown hands for sure for sure i was pretty i was pretty stunned to see that and
then i was like oh it's because they don't like the tourists but again it's like bro where are
you coming from
exactly no one's born in jackson wyoming and if you are unless you're mexican just
right yeah that's another thing when people are like i want to go to like an authentic part of
new york and then they go to somewhere where everybody is like born in columbia yeah and
they're like see this is authentic yeah it's like no these are also transplants these are just
transplants with an accent so like you feel like you're in an ethnic enclave like this isn't any
different than someone who's born in new york yeah it's like no these are also transplants
but you just have this feeling of a romanticized like yemeni new york that like you can have meat
on a stick and like feel like you're somewhere else have you ever been to the parts of the new
york where it's all like the hasidic jews yeah williamsburg no no i'm talking about like upstate
oh curious oil yeah no i've never been there i've never heard of this well so apparently in like
the
i think it was after world war ii or maybe it was during world war ii
the hasidic jews started like buying up all these like hotels in um the catskills oh yeah we've
talked about this or am i confusing them with indians indians that's 50 of motels right this
is hotels right but pretty much they made it like they were so big like the hotels started out as
like small and they got really nice and then they just kept on getting bigger and bigger until they
all went out of business but they were like casinos and it was like the spot for
the hasidic jews to go hang oh cool and they would all go up there in the summer um i've
gotten a lot of messages from people asking me to uh to tell you not to talk about israel anymore
oh yeah to which i said shut up jew i didn't say that sure didn't
shut your mouth
he's been messaging you that all kinds of people all kinds of people i'm like
what do you think i you think that i can control what harry says
i feel like i haven't even really no i haven't been talking state of israel
we were yeah we had some good israel israel conversations out in the woods oh i bet
that is a safe space out there i'm glad we're i'm glad we're out here boys let me tell you what i
really think about like looking over your shoulder bb netanyahu i bet you he sent these mosquitoes
yeah he like removes all the clouds above you you want to know why we're not catching any fish
have you ever seen those tweets that are like bro they're like bro you're 29 and unemployed
israel's not controlling your life
you
yeah i have seen an uptick in garden variety and anti-semitism oh yeah that shocks me sometimes
yes yeah it's pretty crazy starts with harry no no no no i'm not anti-semitic at all
i the the thing is is that that's the thing that sucks about it is that like israel like if it was
any other country no one would have any problem it's it's the fact that it's an ethno state yeah
and then you comes across as anti-semitic if you're against israel
which makes sense but it's just like it's just an unfortunate coincidence really
it's a coincidence that israel is filled with jewish people no i'm saying it's a coincidence
that their horrible leader is bb is way too cute of a nickname yeah that shit is too cute
that sounds like he should be like a fucking british pop star like bb rexa yeah yeah who was
bb rexa i think is she british is she she's a
brat i think she's she was in charge of brat summer last year
charlie xcx oh that's charlie xcx same shit same shit same shit bb xcx bb rexa born in brooklyn
from staten island it wasn't bb isn't uh cathedonia albanian she might be in a dude's
birthday that's the real new york right wasn't isn't didn't yet and y'all who live in uh
uh live in new york for a while like wasn't
he like born he wasn't he was born in israel i think but then i think he lived in new york for
like most of his life speaking of netanyahu how excited are you to be uh be able to golf with the
milk boys did they join it yes they're in it now all of them kyle and uh salim are in the
invitational are people dropping out how are these people or or did it just not did these
people not get announced i saw a non-barstool online video saying that kyle and salim are in it
can i be i have to make a confession careful the milk boys are just a thing that i am not i have
missed you didn't miss much i everyone loves the milk boys i haven't i don't i'm not that
familiar with their work and by the way i know they're the fucking gigantic and whatever they're
they're a million times more successful than i'll ever be but i just it's one of those weird
pockets of the internet that somehow i have missed i can give you the whole rundown sure
they pretty much they started out as like a prank youtube channel i think i know that
and the prank videos that they did were funny um they had some classics during the classics
they they would do a lot of like dressing up as an employee of a store and going in and
working there and then like they had some funny ones where they would like go into
the apple store and it would be like all three of them and they'd be wearing microsoft shirts
and they'd be like trying
to like poach people from the apple store love that or like they would jump on zoom calls during
uh like or like classes during uh covid oh that's great they had a funny one where they were at i
think they were in uh like one of the one of the finger lakes and they were they were running around
as lifeguards and they were saying that there was a shark in the water in the finger lakes
and like helicopters showed up and shit oh my god but then then they got pussy yeah then they
and everything changed like ultra douche
um oh jeez they kind of just turned into like i don't even really know what it would without how
i i obviously don't haven't stopped watching completely because i don't really like now they
just are i don't know i don't know i don't know how to describe them sort of youtube influencers
yeah more so on they have they have some podcasts yeah their podcast does pretty well
what about that guy uh big john is he part of their group that's the thing it's like they're
i don't know any of the guys now the only people that i like that guy big john that guy's pretty
funny i knew kyle used to be funny and then the other guy starvy no no he's way later tiny the
original guy was this guy named jesse in kyle they're both these dudes from canada and that's
when it was really funny and then jesse left when they went the route that they did um is
steiny still part of it yeah now it's like steiny and like brad whatever that guy's name is brad
martin i mean they had a lot of people that were part of it and they were part of it and they were
they had they had trump on a pretty big fucking deal no they're bigger one they had netanyahu on
oh right and they were like burger king or mcdonald's yeah yeah that was hilarious so
okay yeah so um again they had to do like an apology tour they went on like a podcast with
like adam friedland and they were like we didn't know like he was that bad oh and adam friedland
forgave them and was like well did you guys like look his name up before you had him on
would be pretty obvious um that's great again i recognize their album cover i know yeah them
but i don't i've never seen much of their like what got them there and it sounds like that's
what i should watch i think that's realistically what got them there but then they kind of went to
a whole nother level they started doing like similar to like the blackout tour the barstool
did they started like going to like a bunch of colleges and stuff and they got like that drink
happy dad which i'm sure they're making millions
off of and then they started doing like super exclusive like merch drops and stuff where it's
like five hundred dollars for a t-shirt whoa i think that you'll get along famously with kyle
and salim yeah i mean i'm sure they're great i'm sure they're nice guys what about steiny
i don't know if he'll be there but i think that drake just gave kyle like a five hundred thousand
dollar ap for his birthday i saw that you gotta get in with these guys because all they do for
their birthdays is give each other like watches or just like cash or just like a bundle of cash
that's cool like yeah three
hundred thousand dollars like dana white will just show up with like a truck of cash and be like happy
birthday and he's like are you guys you guys are just like recirculating this money like no one's
even getting it yeah like oh i guess i'll save this 500k for when it's dana's birthday
birthday that's earmarks yeah i wonder if there's any like like can you is there like a tax loophole
for that or you hundred percent has to be i don't think these guys are doing anything if it's not a
tax loophole they live in the loophole but i mean yeah they built a fucking beast of a of a brand
yeah and they're definitely rich as fuck yeah good for them no hate at all uh other than harry
calling them mega douches well they became a thing where like their pranks would then be like
we're gonna go on a wine tour in france and ruin it for everyone that spent their entire life
savings to go on that trip yeah that shit sucks when streamers do that shit i saw plaque boy max
being nasty at the uh like the norway england world cup game like yelling at fans that sucks
yeah there's no real beating around that it's like i i get it but like it's content but also
if it's impacting people's
actual life it's probably not great yeah damn especially something like that like bro like the
wine a wine tour in italy like that's literally like someone's dream trip for their entire you
said france earlier is it italy or france because that's a big difference i think about it i like
that you're uh this is your example that bothered you so much well i think that's the type of thing
that would bother me it went like viral for being bad oh this is a couple years ago and then they
did one where there was like uh they were like
people got mad about this one too they did uh they had an ice truck that sold ice and then they
would run up to a bunch of mexican dudes and be like ice and then all the mexican guys would like
run for their life and they'd be like no we're just kidding but ice probably actually is in the
area so yeah that one i don't know that one's a little less harmful than the depends on which
than the wine of you but they're they're not they're not actually like
you know it's it's more of a prank than it is like we're gonna fuck shit up correct but it still is
a kind of a fucked up prank yeah maybe true i don't know man it's either all pranks or it's
not pranks at all true you know what i'm saying got to find that balance all right thank you guys
for listening we will be back next week um with two new episodes yeah we'll be fresh we'll be fresh
fresh sodes
this is a fresh soda as well yeah freshy no we banked this weeks ago
all right we'll see you guys next week goodbye
