In this podcast episode, the host, Zemem Kise, advocates for mental health awareness while cautioning against weaponizing it as an excuse for poor behavior. She then shifts to the theme of "locking in" for the remaining six months of the year, breaking down self-improvement into mind, body, and soul. For the body, she recommends consistent movement (like walking or hiking), vitamins (e.g., magnesium, vitamin C), gut health practices (e.g., apple cider vinegar, Greek yogurt), skincare routines, and hygiene upgrades to feel confident and presentable. She argues that investing in appearance communicates self-respect and can attract opportunities. For the mind, she stresses the value of education—whether formal degrees or self-study—and reading books to broaden perspectives, think critically, and avoid being swayed by others' opinions. She shares her own journey of reading fiction to stimulate imagination and challenge herself. Overall, the host encourages listeners to prioritize physical and mental growth, emphasizing that small, consistent efforts in these areas can lead to significant transformation and success in the latter half of the year.
What in the 20s is going on in the 20s? The 20s baby! What in the 20s is I am in heaven for my 20s baby. This is the 20s. Welcome back to the podcast. I'm your host, Zemem Kise and this is What in the 20s. A podcast really listen to me grow through its baby. It is still July which means in South Africa it is still mental illness awareness. We care about you, we love you. Sorry I feel like I'm sounding like okay it doesn't matter but you know what I'm going to say. But anyways, genuinely on a serious note, yeah I will never stop advocating for it. I'll never stop speaking up for it. I'll never stop you know just with my lungs with my whole heart it's just going guys. Mental health, mental illness, just all of it. Let's speak about it, let's destigmatize it, let's seek guidance and stuff. But also let's also not weaponize it for the love of goodness. Let us not weaponize our mental health as an excuse to be terrible as excuse to be bullies and excuse to be inconsistent as an excuse to just treat people less than what they deserve. You know as much as we should be raising awareness and like all of that kind of stuff we should also know that we can't use it as a way to just, woof, as to just be terrible people on this planet. Please and thank you. Yeah, let's educate ourselves accordingly, let's get help accordingly and all of that kind of stuff. Speak to someone, speak to me like, yeah, please, please, please check in on your friend, check in on your strong friend. Woo, woo, check in on your strong friend, check in on the friend that's always checking in on you, you know, checking on the people that you know you, always, every time you think about them you're like, oh they so put together, oh they just have it all together, they just, they're just cruising through life. Check in on them, please, they're desperate, they're desperate for you to ask them like, you know if they're okay. But yeah, on this episode we're going to be speaking about locking in. It is July which means we're six months, there's six months later of the year and, um, woof, please. We need to lock in, we need to get it together. Um, again, please, so in the previous episode I mentioned like, forgive my voice, it's a bit, you know, it's a bit crazy. Um, I am still recovering from the flu, so my throat is insane, but I will show up. I will never neglect you. You will meet me every Sunday, every Sunday on this platform you will see me, um, no matter the, the state I am. Um, but yeah, so we're going to be speaking about locking in. We just need to get back in the game. We need to get back in the ring. I always find this. I don't know if this is a pattern for everybody else in their life, but the first six months and the first, in the last six months of the year are so different for me. Like every single year, like I feel like things just, I don't know, the first act I never recognize myself, you know, by the end of the year, because like the beginning, the first half of the year was just so different. I feel like I'm still recovering from the previous year. I'm still carrying on traits of the previous year and all that kind of stuff. But I feel like the last six months is where I go hard. The last six months is where I'm the most focused, the most dedicated, like I see the most growth in myself and all that kind of stuff. Um, but yeah, so let's get into it. We're going to break it down into mind, body, soul, simple mind, body, soul, three parts. And that is how we're just going to get like hidden the games and how we're just going to transform ourselves. So let's start the body, right? What are we doing for movement? What are we doing for exercise? What are we doing to keep ourselves physically active, physically and shape and all of that kind of stuff? I'm healthy and everything, you know, are we, is it, is it, is it making sure we take 10,000 steps a day? Is it making sure we go to jump three times at the very least three times a week and all of that kind of stuff? Um, are we lifting weights or we lifting heavy and all that kind of stuff? Are we going to Pilates yoga? Like what are you doing to keep your body moving? Are you dancing? Are you, um, I don't know, like what interests you to the point where are you hiking? Like, yeah, that interest, like it even might feel like a hobby, but it's a hobby that keeps you in shape. It's a hobby that keeps your body just like it just keeps you moving, you know, you need to have something that every single day you can say, I've moved, you know, um, and, um, yeah, I think if it's, if it's something that you can like, you know, hold yourself a little comfortable to you. Like right now I've bought a walking pad, um, I've got a walking pad at home. And it's because I don't get enough steps in my day because I work from home and with that and I was like, this is ridiculous. Like I'm so sedentary. Like I'm always sitting. I'm always just sitting by a laptop or whatever it is or sit like working from my bed, et cetera, et cetera. And it's getting out of hand. Like I need to move more and stuff. I guess that's, that's the way I'm like, you know, try to be more comfortable to be like, okay, you need to get your steps and you need to move, you know, you need to move, girl and stuff. Like, yeah, what vitamins are we taking as you're, as you're hearing from me right now, I'm a bit sick. I'm a bit under the, um, under the weather and stuff I get. We need to be taking like vitamins, minerals, all of that kind of stuff. What capsules are we, you know, what tablets and all of that kind of stuff are we going to be taking in magnesium, zinc, vitamin C, all of that kind of stuff. Like what are ways that we can just regulate ourselves and stuff I get also for our gut, gut health, the so important. So what are we doing, you know, to kind of clear that to kind of just, I hate the feeling I'm always continuing feeling bloated and stuff I get. So I genuinely have to have a routine that I do every single day to like, you know, keep me from that which involves taking apples out of vinegar. Apple cider vinegar has been in my routine for years. I stand by it. It has really helped in terms of like my gut, but there's also like other things that you can take. Like I know that Greek yogurt is good. I know that, um, what is it? Man, this is thing. I forgot the name, but it's also just good for like clearing your digestive system and stuff. I just need to be doing like even teas and stuff I get. I think it's really great to just kind of clean you from the inside out, you know, um, that can really help. I know there's also just like genuine kind of, I don't know, like, um, I don't know what the medications and stuff I get, but things you can get from like, just came a clip, clip, so your local pharmacy or all that kind of stuff that sour coats is what I wanted to say. Sorry. That's the word. That's also really good for your gut health. Sorry. But these things you can take that I just think that you can feel everything you got. And your gut is like just bloated when it's full and stuff. You don't feel good. A lot of things come from our gut man. Like I feel like when our gut is right, when it's clear, when it feels good and stuff, we feel good, you know, mentally, emotionally, physically and all the rest. So I, I really prioritize taking care of that, you know, um, so that I can just feel my bass. I can trust my intuition. I can just like just know what's going on. Like I think it, there's a block in your chakras man, um, when you don't take care of your gut. So like, yeah, just, um, think about things like that. Like what can I do to take care of my gut health and stuff? What vitamins I need to be taking to feel healthy magnesium is really good on so many reasons. But also just if you're not getting enough sleep and stuff like that, your body needs that, you know, take that if you need to and all of that. Like just what can we do to just physically feel better about ourselves and stuff? I was skin care. How can we upgrade our skin care? I always say the simpler the better you can see right now. I got a breakout on my on my chin, but that's because of my, actually, I can't even tell you what I got to fun, but it's a normal thing. It happens. It's okay. But it's just about like learning how to take care of ourselves. Are you toning your skin and stuff like that or using the right face wash and stuff like that? Are we, you know, moisturizing, using serums and stuff like that? Like how can we best take care of our skin that we feel, oh, that we just feel good about ourselves. That we feel really, really into about ourselves. That's honestly the number one. You know, I get, it's actually such a funny thing. But like people ask me, like, some of, I never see you wear makeup. Like why don't you wear makeup and it's nothing. It's not for anything deep. It's genuinely because I really like my skin. Like I really like the way that it looks that I feel like, oh, I'm, I'm good to go, you know, it's, yeah, it really isn't anything. There's not more to the story. Like I just feel like, I don't know. I just feel like I've invested in my skincare for years since I was a child to be quite honest. I think since I was like six or seven, I kept copying my mom whatever she was using. She had these clean, neat products and stuff like that that she was constantly toning her face with and all of that. And I remember like I used to get teased all the time. You like I was doing white people things and my friends were just like, girl, what are you doing? You know, and I didn't, I don't know how to expect like since I was like six or seven, I just kept toning my skin because my mom was like, look at all this dirt coming out from your face. You know, she was just such an elegant, sophisticated, incredible, chic woman, you know, and I just wanted to be like her. And so I'd been learning and stuff about like serums and everything like for so long that like this is, you know, this is the result of it. But also it's like outside of the skincare, it's like, you know, your lifestyle, you know, like drinking enough water and all the rest and stuff. But like, yeah, I think that having good, healthy skin is just, oh, it is the break we got through. It is the entry point to so much like you just feel so good in yourself and feel so comfortable in your skin and all of that. So like, what do you need to do? Like, how can you upgrade your skin care? How can you feel more confident in yourself in your face and all of that kind of stuff? Your hygiene upgrading your hygiene routine. Oh man, ask me about this. Ask me about hygiene. I grew up in a household where we were incredibly strict. My mom was incredibly strict about cleanliness. She always said cleanliness is the next thing, you know, it's a godliness, you know. And so we were constantly cleaning. We were forever cleaning. We were scrubbing the pavement. You know, we had to go with a hose pipe and everything and like wash, literally scrub the pavement with the brush and stuff again. But like, I don't know, it's just engraved in everything. Like if you ask me for something in my bag, I am most likely to have it. Like, it's tissue, sanitizer, hand cream, all of that kind of stuff. I will have it, you know. Just how can I best, you know, clean myself and stuff, especially, you know, it's not even just about the outside, right, from the inside out, you know, and that's how you go again to like, you know, what we're eating and everything like that. Like, how can we feel good about ourselves clean ourselves, you know, because also sometimes what we're consuming, we can, like, it leaves an odor. So, you know, some of the foods we consume and the drinks we consume and stuff like that, is an odor that can stay behind and stuff again. So it's just like knowing like,
like how can I basically clean myself? What soap should I be using that's based for my skin and all the rest? What, I don't know, deodorants and stuff like that and perfumes and like sensitive things, things that make you feel good, things that make you feel fresh, you know, just things are clean. Like, you know, that scrub off the dead skin cells, you know, I exfoliate once a week and all of that kind of stuff. Like I just love, like I said, ask about me. I just love, I got wet wipes and all of that everywhere, you know what I'm saying? Like be clean. Like people, you don't realize how much people are judging you already from like, you know, how you present yourself. Like I hate walking into a dirty car. Like you know, when I go into your car car and I can see that there's just, goodness you man, there's so much going on in there. I'm like, oh, I am judging you. And I get it sometimes, there's just so much work to carry good stuff. But like, hi, Jean, oh guys, we need a declutter. We need to just keep things clean and safe and just like breathable and usable and all of that kind of stuff. I'm so into it. Into how can I just better like, yeah, I just, yeah, I don't want to deal with the germs, man. I don't want to deal with germs. Let's think about how we can upgrade our appearance. So maybe it's your wardrobe. Maybe you want to upgrade the clothes that you wear and all that kind of stuff. You know, what can you do to lock in to just, you know, invest in that. Look, invest in looking more like the version of you. You want to be looking more like the version of you that is more professional in your career and all of that kind of stuff. Looking more like the version of you that I don't know, it's just tidy as well put this put together and all of that kind of stuff. Maybe it's your hair, you know, finding a signature hairstyle for you that just that just works, man, you know, maybe it's doing your nails, your lashes, maybe it's investing in makeup and all that. Like, what is it about your appearance as you know that you could, you know, go with the extra mile in, you know, and do a little bit more. You will never go wrong investing in yourself. Like never, never, never go wrong investing yourself. And so like, even though it might feel superficial to be like, oh, your appearance and all that kind of stuff might feel incredibly vain. You don't realize how many, how much you're communicating without even saying anything, you know, you don't realize how much people are, you know, already having a perception of you based of how you present yourself, based off of your hygiene, based of how, you know, you kind of put on your jewelry and stuff like that, your clothes, your hair, your distance, your sins and all of that. Like, people already have an idea of who they think you are whether or not they want to trust you, whether or not they want to associate with you, be next to you, invest in you, you know, put all money into you, you know, all of that kind of stuff. And it's just, it all stems on like, you know, just our ability to take care of ourselves physically. I think that when you take care of yourself physically, people feel like, oh, they want to be closer to you. They want to work with you. They want to hear what you got to say. And it sounds, again, sounds very service-level and superficial to say, but like genuinely, I think that if we present ourselves well, we would be surprised to have more doors. We get to open, you know, without even having to say much, without even having to do much. But like, we're really showing that we care about ourselves. We respect ourselves, you know, we're really showing that like we value ourselves to the point that we're willing to invest ourselves in that way. Let's move into mine, right? And what ways can we invest in ourselves mentally and stuff like that? Education, education, education, you will never go wrong with getting an education. You'll never go wrong with furthering your education. I think that is something we need to keep highlighting and pushing like every time you keep thinking, oh, do I really need to like learn about this? Do I really need to study this? Do I really need to, you know, I mentioned it in like, one of my episodes, like I keep thinking, oh, should I really go pursue your masters now? I know that there's no regret I would come from pursuing on masters. The only thing holding me back is like, I'm lazy. That's pretty much it. I'm so lazy to go back to an academic institution. But there's no, I would not be making a loss, you know, it's what I'm trying to say. It's just like, yeah, just do it, you know? If you have the means, if you kind of forward it and you have the time and all of that kind of stuff, absolutely take every opportunity to educate yourself. Because there's just so much, there's so much to learn. And knowledge is such a, knowledge really is power. You will really be held hostage to the opinions of other people if you don't know how to form your own, if you don't know how to formulate your own thoughts and opinions and stuff, you'll really be held hostage to everybody else's ideas, everybody else's creative to everything and stuff. If you don't know how to think for yourself, if you don't know how to expand your mind and all that kind of stuff, if you don't know how to expose yourself and be more open minded to different concepts and ideas of this world and that is such a painful place to be absolutely focused and locked in on your scorework, locked in on your studies, on your exams, all of that kind of stuff. It is such an incredible investment. You don't know how far it can take you in life. Books, what books will we reading? I read too many self-help books. I read a lot of self-help books, right? Currently I'm now reading fiction books. I'm trying to, you know, get into that. I'm trying to broaden my horizons, if you will. And it's because I think I want to challenge myself to one day write a fictional book. My book is coming out in September. It's not fictional. And I want to one day, you know, just be like, oh, I write fiction, like, you know, all of that kind of stuff. Like I want to write all kinds of things. I want to write children's books. I want to be the type of person guys the way that I see myself. I want to be the type of person where you can put me in any room and I will make myself useful in that space. I want to be able to be put in any room and I'll figure out how to conquer it. I'll figure out how to overcome it and all of that kind of stuff. Like I, that is something I'm really, really excited and passionate about. Like, you know, in terms of like challenging myself. So right now I'm reading fictional books. And it's okay. I'm not having a bad time at all. I think it's a great way to explain my mind. Just I feel like my imagination is just like growing and all of that I feel like I'm being exported into a world. Like it is incredible. I love it. You know, if you need to be reading more self-help books and more non-fiction stuff, I can get into it. Self-help books have really helped me in so many ways with my mentality, with my focus, with my drive, my dedication, with my ability to get things done. I love a good self-help book. I love a good, I don't know, I love a book that transformed the way that I think that transforms the way that I understand things, the psychology of things, the psychology books. Oh man, I love a good psychology book. But like, yeah, I keep thinking like, what are we reading this year? What are we reading this month? How much do I need to read? Do you want to read one book a month? Do I need to read a book in maybe two months and stuff like that? Like, yeah, really get yourself in the habit of reading. Like, we don't read enough and that is a problem. And I am noticing it. I am seeing it. I can pick it up when I'm having a conversation with somebody that this person does not read. It's incredibly disappointing. I'm going to be very honest. [LAUGHS] We need to grow the society of reading again. Read poetry, you know? I love poetry. I love writing poetry. I love reading poetry. I'm listening to poetry. Or that kind of stuff. Expose yourselves that mentally the things that it does feel like, I think we just need to grow our avenue of creativity. And yeah, absolutely get into that. Podcast. What podcasts are we listening to? That can expand our minds, you know? I know people love Diary of the CEO. Yeah, there's like so many podcasts you can listen to that can I guess challenge you entrepreneurally? As an entrepreneur, should I just say? As an entrepreneur, as someone just going in society, growing in society, wanting to figure out how to be, how to do, how to have a business, all of that kind of stuff, get into that. It's really what I love about podcasts. I'm essentially listening to somebody's experience of how they went through something and cracked the code. So I don't have to go through all these steps and make the same mistakes. They're giving me the cheat code. How can I really sharpen my best self in the society and stuff? And if you just pick good podcasts, there are so many, oh, there are so many podcasts out there. You need to keep looking. Like I know people keep saying, there's a podcast that I put epidemic going on right now. People are very discouraged about podcasts. There's more of that kind of stuff. They are incredibly good podcasts out there. They are even like, you will like podcasts that will tell you stories and stuff like it's amazing what you will find. If you just go looking, if you just invest yourself in the process of searching and stuff like that. But yeah, like empower your mind, educate yourself. Even on topics you never even thought you would be interested. There'll be so many times you'll have to be thinking, ah, this topic doesn't relate to me or whatever. But then when I listened to the episode, I'm like, that was so insightful. That was amazing. Don't just go for what you know. Don't just go for what feels appealing to you. Challenge yourself. You're like, I don't know anything about this thing. Name me, listen to this. Even if it's just like somebody telling their scary story or whatever it is, listen to podcasts. Like the way that all broadened your horizons, broadened the way you think about things, the way that you could walk out of there learning something and stuff like that. genuinely just ask your friends, what are you listening to? Ask like someone you just met. What are you listening to? You know, and just try it out. And if you don't like it, you know, find a little girl. But like we, we were too close minded. And I see it so many times in comment sections of so many videos. People don't want to hear about this. People don't want another think piece. It's so sad that people don't want to listen to think pieces. I think that's so insane. Like why would you not want to hear someone's perspective? You don't have to agree with it. You don't have to condone it or endorse it. But like it's a perspective and it's worth being like, you know, explored because they represent a fraction of people who think like them, who speak like them. And I think we cannot as a society, you know, work together if we decide that like, you're not worth listening. So you're not worth reading about. Substack, I have Substack now, which is amazing. I haven't posted on Substack Prison yet. But I love reading other people's Substack and stuff like that. Like really just read, read, read, read, listen, listen, listen. Like expose yourself to more media. That's nothing we need to think about. What music are we consuming? I've been listening to a whole lot of music lately. I love music, music is my love language, music is something that has just has always been a part of me since forever. Like oh, my life, I listen to all genres. Like oh, too many genres of music in fact. And I'm so open-minded about it. But like yeah, the music you're consuming, the lyrics that are going on in there will definitely, will genuinely kind of
inform how you think about things in your perception of things and stuff again. So also be so intentional about the type of music you're listening to the type of artists you give you a time to and all that kind of stuff because they can give you a perception of things right and when I speak about locking in and stuff again like make sure the music you're listening to makes you feel good, makes you feel excited, makes you feel focused, makes you feel happy, makes you feel just joyful. Like you know do not partake too much in like music that feels soft, deprecating music that feels disrespectful music that makes you feel down and sad. Like I can listen to sad love sad music, I have a whole playlist full of sad music, I listen to sad music when I'm happy when I'm good but I see sometimes the way that will have me fixed on my emotions, the way that will have me rethinking about things that I'm moved on from and all that kind of stuff. So I have to be very cognizant of those things you know those shifts that are happening in me emotionally and like physically in my body you know when I listen to certain things and stuff I get so like yeah be intentional about the music you listen to jazz music ever listen to oh there's a lot of good music out there go and look go and search enjoy the search enjoy listening to something you just haven't listened to in a while like people are putting out good work out there it is amazing time to be an artist shows what shows are you watching the series the movies documentaries all of that kind of stuff that is media we're consuming right you need to be incredibly intentional about that and stuff like that because it is going to inform so much of your perceptions and your thoughts and all of that you know so I hope that you're watching things that are of good nature that genuinely inspire you genuinely make you think differently in a positive way about the world and all of that or just yeah different perspectives on things and stuff like that it's really exciting to consume things that are great if you're constantly just consuming negative media and all of that kind of stuff you're YouTube algorithm is just constantly showing you things that bring people down that bring woman down that bring all of that like stop and let go of that you know like there's more to this life is a lot more interesting things out there the world is so big and there are so many niches and communities to be a part of that I think that if you just kind of you know bring yourself into the right spaces and stuff you can realize this life is fun man like being a part of a community is amazing I love it your social media is also a part of media that we're consuming right you need to be cognizant of as I said like you're so you sheep and stuff what is your algorithm feeding you constantly over and over and over who are you following you know if you are following people that make you feel bad about yourself people that don't make you feel great or that kind of stuff unfollow them you know if you're following people that you don't want to keep up with and stuff like that unfollow them it's not personal it's not deep you know you just can't be you can't keep attaching yourself and like involving yourself in environments and spaces where it's not positively feeding you you know follow people you want to be more like that's something I've actually just started like you know really taking into account like follow people who maybe I want to dress like people I want to speak more like you know people who are in my space that are doing work that I that inspires me and all of that kind of stuff like people who are doing interesting things people are like follow those types of people don't just follow people just to follow people like you're gonna go insane you don't need to do that you know um you don't need to follow all these gossip pages and all that comes up because you're filling your mind with that energy you know and what we feed our hearts and what we fill ourselves up with is what comes out of it you know if you can't see just being consumed by gossip and media and all of that kind of stuff that's what you're gonna can't see keep speaking to people when you're on them in social settings and all of that kind of stuff so be incredibly intentional but what that looks like for you and what's important for you in that in in that space this is you get to curate your life guys like you get to curate what's on your phone you get to curate who you speak to who you engage with and all that kind of stuff you get to curate and romanticize your life in your world though exactly the way you want to start charge you know take full autonomy and like agency over it and have the time of your life it is your life you can do whatever you want with it so stop feeling like you're just you know sort of vendering to to any content creator or anything that's out there any news outlet or whatever to fake news and this is like you don't have to you can reject it you can say no thank you and noisy laugh you know so now we're gonna speak about I said my body soul right so let's speak about the soul how can we feed into our soul spirituality could be a way if you're a spiritual person if you're a religious person um all of that kind of stuff you need a feed into yourself like for me that looks like um reading the bible for me that looks like making sure I tend church every week I'm not as consistent as I want to be I could be better oh man I could be better but um it just I need to pray every single day and sometimes I I you know I fall back on that I think currently I'm having such a weird relationship with God um which is really frustrating for me because I depend on him so much I love God so much you know like I feel like I speak about God and everything that I do and stuff like that but it's so complicated because I'm still so angry with God you know like if you know if you've been around and there's podcasts and stuff like I've opened up about the fact that like I don't know how to forgive God for taking my mom like that's so insane to me you know like why did you do that you know so it's really difficult to to to to depend on a God that would do that you know that would do that to her like never mind me never mind doing that to me but doing that to her was and isn't say like she was just the healthiest, the loveliest, most amazing him being on this planet and like taking her was so random was just so out of order like and so I think that's why I have such a difficult relationship with them because I don't know how to depend on someone who hurt me so much you know um I guess he's not a being but I mean like out to depend on an entity that could not save her that did not save her should I say um but I'm working on it like I'm working on building my faith again I'm working on um just drawing near it to him um and just trusting him you know to see me through situations and provide for me and all of that kind of stuff and you know that's an incredibly important you know aspect of my life like my faith right so whatever you know religion you're a part of and stuff like that make sure you stay connected like lock in to that faith lock lock into those practices and because those are things that make you you you know those things that you you identify with you know and I don't want you to stray from that and all of that kind of stuff and if it's just spirituality like what does that look like for you to be more spiritual and all of that kind of stuff and it's a look like to engage yourself in that aspect and stuff like that creative outlets creative outlets are so good for the soul creative outlets are my main source of being I need like most of who I am is a creative by that I mean like whether it is the music I am listening to a creative and stuff I get the art that I'm making like you know being able to come and be in the entertainment space you know with I'm performing I am writing I'm doing poetry I'm podcasting I am you know um MC and all of that kind of stuff I need a constantly fine creative ways of existing in this world for me to feel at peace with myself for me to feel fulfilled and satisfied with the life that I'm living and so I think it is an incredible thing that you need to invest in having a creative outlet you know like I am lucky that for me it is my work but for you it could just be a hobby but it is equally important that you do that because I think the more that we creatively expand our minds and stuff like that the more rich culturally rich feel with life with the world and our space and ourselves you know so yeah like what is your creative art like what are things that you can do whether it's painting whether it's creating so like you need to do something with your hands you know drawing painting sculpting all of that um it could man it could be anything but you need to be able to just feel like you can make something you know the idea of just ah letting your juices flow being a stream of consciousness you know that it's just kind of pouring themselves out into the world I think it makes us more magnetic I think it makes us just these I don't know a theory in a way and stuff like that you need to just create something you know um whether it's writing and all of that like get into the habit of just feeling like you're you're just in a creative space where it's playing an instrument listening to me like whatever it is keep putting yourself in positions where you're you know you're feeling creatively um just feeling creative in general going to art galleries etc like so much to do even playing games playing games is a is it's a creative outlistener way you know it depends what games you're playing in stuff but they are games you can be playing like that is you have to be creative when you play chess you know in order to win all of that kind of stuff you have to be creative with your tactics with your um with your your strategy and all of that kind of stuff there are things you can do you know um you playing sports and all of that you got to improvise and stuff like that keep finding outlets that just make you feel like oh I'm spiritually just my soul feels good right now it's food for the soul right um meditation could be food for the soul for you if that's something you're into you know meditate take time out five minutes in minutes today do your affirmations also affirmations could be a way that you know enrich your soul and all of that kind of stuff speaking life into yourself prophesying or be a self that's just in a positive way and all of that kind of stuff do that like that's if that's your thing do that thing I love taking time I like doing breathing exercises right you know because I just feel like it makes me more grounded it senses me it grounds like I just feel so like yeah I love that thing you know when they're like you're breathing for four and you go one two three four hold for four two three four exhale for six two three four five six I just feel uh namaste I just feel sorry peace I just feel so good I love a good breathing exercise and stuff again journaling you need a journal get in the habit of writing right right right right your thoughts just outpore outpore outpore you can't contain everything and you can't hold everything and your soul needs you to expel you know and that's why I even spoke up like a creative art didn't order that kind of stuff but like yeah journal your emotions your day your what it really feels unimportant you don't know the things that could be doing for you a year from now a month from now two years from now I love going back to my journals five years going order that kind of stuff seeing the growth of progress how different I am order that kind of stuff journal journal journal like you you're literally watching yourself you
evolve in real time and stuff like that. And last thing, it feels so small, but it's so important. Getting vitamin D. So being outside in nature in the sun, the other kind of stuff is incredibly important. It's good for, ah, your endorphins are going to go up, you know, you're just, you're going to feel good. So it's only like you're just going to feel so lovely, you know, I'm being in spaces like that. It's good for the soul. It is incredibly enriching. It is incredibly just comforting and all that kind of stuff. You will be miserable if you're constantly locking yourself in your room with your curtains closed, you know, you even got those blackout curtains in as a dark. You need to be getting outside more, go outside as much as you possibly can, just be outside, be in, in incredible environments with this plant, with this oxygen, just feel good, feel alive, you know, but like get us out of one and speak about it. Like we need to, we need to lock in. We need to get, we need to get ourselves ready. You know, let's finish strong. Let's finish this year feeling powerful, feeling amazing, feeling like we are, we're just better, we're just better. As always, I'm sending my love. Goodbye. The 20s baby. What in the 20s is all in the 20s baby. This is the 20s.
