Living by Faith

Grow! Your Bible is in your hands. Galatians of the Five. And, Jesus, Galatians of the Five, West 25. This is an apostolic summer, an appeal, and this is the Word of the Lord. Paul says, "If you live in the Spirit, if we live in the Spirit, let us also work in the Spirit." You are born again, let it show. You have the Holy Ghost, let it show. You are full of the Spirit, let there be evidence. And this is a decision that we can make, it will not be word of mouth only, there will be evidence in my life. If we live in the Spirit, let us also, you see, it's an agreement we can never make as a church. Since we live in the Spirit, let us also work in the Spirit. I refuse to live an ordinary life. Since I have the Holy Ghost, I refuse to live like I don't have the Holy Ghost. Say, "It loud, I refuse to live an ordinary life." It shows in my life that I'm full of the Spirit, that I have the Holy Ghost. Say it again, I refuse to live an ordinary life. I live by the Spirit, I walk by the Spirit from the crown of my head to the tip of my toes and my going out and in my coming in. I live by the Spirit, I walk by the Spirit, I live by the Spirit, I walk by the Spirit in the name of Jesus, I refuse to live like someone who doesn't have the Holy Ghost. I give you a few seconds to pray in the Spirit. Oh, God, I will drown the world with the river of life. There's a river inside of me that is able to drown the world. I refuse to be ordinary, because I carry the soul, and there is power inside of me that is able to drown. I bring joy into my city by the power of God, and there is power inside of me that is able to drown the world with the river of life. I refuse to be ordinary by the power of God, my family wants to be ordinary by the power of God, my children want to be ordinary by the power of God. This church wants to be ordinary by the power of God. There is glory inside of me that is able to drown the world with the river of life. You have to understand, David began to mourn, he cried, he said, so died as if he didn't have the anointing. It means he expected someone who is anointed, not to die like that. Are you listening to me? This is someone who carry the mentality. It's not just about going to church, it's a mentality. If I am full of the Spirit, it's more show. He said, how could someone who carries the anointing die just like that? It was the kind of person. If he lost the battle, he knew something went wrong. Something he would go and investigate. Someone was out of line. How can you be calling on his name every Sunday? And we cannot tell the difference. I cannot call on your name and end up in shame. A time will come you make, there must be a difference in your life. Kai, I cannot bow before you. And bow before circumstances. Why just see you? Make a plan. You are, you are, you are. Thank you Lord. Thank you Lord. It must show that I met with you. I have substance. I have proof. I have evidence. I have you. I have substance. I have proof. I have presence. Thank you, Lord. Thank you sir, we praise you. Thank you. Only spirit of God. Anyone that has you is a champion. Anyone that has you has overcome the world. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. One with you indeed is majority. And if the Lord is with us, who can be against us? What can stop us? Thank you father. In Jesus mighty name, we have prayed. Come on, I said in Jesus mighty name, we have prayed. Thank you Lord. I sense that the Lord is going to show for you in a very dramatic way. Thank you Jesus. Glory to your name Lord. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. All right, say hello to someone to your left and your right and go ahead and be seated. Say how was your week. Thank you Jesus. For you are great. You don't need records so great. There is no one else like you. Oh, there is no one else like you. For you are. Yes, you are. You do me. And there is no one else like you. There is no. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Now very quickly, I have just few minutes to run through the same one that I have. So. I want to start this week. Thank you Jesus. And I still believe you're the same yesterday. Today and forever. And I still believe your word is sufficient. For me. Today and forever. And I still believe you are this sufficient. For me. This one is for someone. I know you've prayed for four years, but do you still believe you've prayed for six years, but do you still believe I want you to demonstrate your faith and sing that song. Say and I still believe you're the same yesterday. Today and forever. And I still believe you're the same. Come on sing it again and die. You're the same yesterday. Today and forever. Thank you, sir. I just allow my creative mind to get the best of me. And I try to imagine things. Like what would it be like if I had the privilege, the honor of interviewing Jesus. I'm talking about interviewing him at the peak of his ministry. When the rumors were already going around, the news had already spread that the man turned water to wine. And the man walked on water. And he spoke to the storm. And the storm will be. And he spoke to a tree. And the tree was dried from his roots. Now you have the opportunity to interview him. What questions will you ask? But do you know what's interesting? It's not even something to imagine. It happened. Someone interviewed Jesus. The curiosity of Nicodemus got the better of him. And he had to come in the night to ask him. He had heard all these things. He had about the miracles. And he just had to come. And so picture Jesus on Nicodemus's podcasts. And Nicodemus is saying, how are you able to do all these things? Great miracles that you do. You must, you must be from heaven. A great teacher from heaven. And then how does Jesus respond? Invested. The Bible says Jesus answered and said to him, most assuredly, I say to you, that unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. What a response. A mask can about your prolific life. Your incredible miracle walking ministry. And this is how you respond? Oh yes. That was indeed the response. Jesus was taking his focus away from the activity to the environment that influences that activity. Are you getting what I'm saying? He's letting this man know that where I come from, these things are normal. The reason it's extraordinary to you is because of where you are. In the kingdom of heaven, this is the norm. You know, one of the examples I like to give is this. If you go to space, all of a sudden, without effort, you begin to float. But on the earth, because of the reality of gravity, if someone began to levitate, you probably run away. Meanwhile, what is extraordinary here is normal in another realm. And so this is what Jesus is trying to see. That the moment you enter the kingdom and the moment you see the kingdom, realities and possibilities as a concept has now changed. And so this is what the writer of Hebrews was trying to explain in Hebrews, chapter 11, verse 3. In fact, I want to start with the first few words just so that it's to seep into your consciousness. He said in this way, he says, by faith, we understand. Meaning faith is a totally different lens and a totally different concept of possibility. There is what we understand by faith. Come on, I get what I'm saying. Let me put it this way. In some other instance, this is what was said to Mary and what was said to the disciples. Similar statements. For with men, it is impossible but not with God. Let me bring it home. There are some parts of the world where you get on medical diagnosis and is almost a dense death sentence. But it is not impossible everywhere in the world. In more advanced claims, there are scientific and medical options. There are incredible things that medical practitioners can do these days. There is something called the open heart surgery. They can stop your heart, walk on it and then start it again. Incredible stuff. The things that scientists are doing, some of them, in fact, there are ethical issues. Scientists have found a way to grow animals. But before the animals are formed, they remove their internal organs and put the organs of humans so that those animals grow with human organs so that when a human beings needs it, they can just kill the animal and transplants. The brain science is doing. And so even in a natural realm, impossibility is context specific. And that is why in Hebrews 11, he goes on to tell you the things that people did to defy the laws of physics, the laws of science and possibility. As you know it, he said, "Serra received strength to conceive." Strength! Strength to conceive. Maxine said, "She's too old. It's no longer possible." But the Bible says, "By faith." It means faith blocks you to a different economy. Where the concept of impossibility is switched. By faith, Syra herself received strength to conceive and bore a child when she was past the age. Because she judged him faithful who had promised. Look at the next verse, verse 12. It says, "Therefore, from one man and from him, as good as dead, where born many as the stars of the sky." See, let me tell you something. I said this on Thursday and many people don't even really get it. If God tells somebody that he would be a great nation, that may or may not be a prophetic promise. There are some people that are just born with degrees for procreation. The earrings, for instance, if they stop at six, is because they choose to stop. I'm telling you. But that the excellency will be of God and not of man. God in His providence makes sure all the patriarchs married women who had biological limitations. Syra had problems. Rebecca had problems. Rachel, all of them, do you think is a coincidence? What Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, all of them married women who had biological limitations. So that when you see that lineage, you know that only the finger of God could have produced it. So sometimes for God to prove his point, he picks the most unlikely person so that when he is done, it will be visible to the blind and unable to the deaf. That this was the finger of God. So understand that the Lord who made the laws of physics did not create those laws as a limitation to Himself. Jesus Christ, I prefer the first service. See the way they are looking at me. Did you hear what I just said? God did not create the laws of science, of biology, of physics to limit His own ability in your life. So at least open your heart to a different economy when you're working with God. By faith, I understand. I've read the medical report, but by faith, I understand. I've heard what the economy report is saying, but by faith, I understand. And I am embrace a different possibility. And guess what, when you do so, you won't be the first. Because by this, it does obtain the good reports. There are a cloud of witnesses. People, women, who got their dead back to life, men, who squanged the violin fire, stop the mouth of lions. You will not be the first. There are many people who have stories that if they told you, you would say it's a lie. And I'm not just talking about Bible stories. People are live and well today. You know, a lady came to pass the cake crying. One of my uterus has been removed. And the other one has a disease or something, so the doctor said we have to remove it. So they said the prayer. She went for another scan. The uterus that had been removed, they were seeing it in this scan. And the one that they said was not working. So the two of them were seeing it in this scan like this. How do you want to explain that? Because there is a different economy. Where if you need a new one, they can just give you. Did you hear what I said? I said if you need a new one, they can give you. You know, you can have an insurance on your phones and if something goes wrong, you just go there and you change it. There is an insurance in Gordon. And now the Bible says without faith it is impossible to please God. Meaning if you are going to work with God, you have to come to tempts with the reality of his own economy. He that comes to God must first believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. You came all the way from your house. You can as well just believe. Maybe God made me share that testimony for someone here. How much does it cost? Just believe God. There is nothing like your presence Lord. All I want is to worship you. So let me ask you, listen, what economy are you functioning with? Say by faith I understand. I have a different understanding, a different perspective to reality. That is why Jesus was so different. You see 5000 people, just five loops and you know there is a way. Is there a way for you? Are you out of options? And Jesus was so sure as not an issue he could use as an opportunity to teach the disciples. Now Jesus is telling them, feed these people. Some of you, that is why you don't understand why God talks the way He talks when you are praying and He talks. He talks as if He is not paying attention to the luck around you. You just finish them wirelessly and he is telling you you change the world. You will go to the nations, you will do this and you are wondering, I don't even have a passport. That is how he talks. You have just five loops and he is saying feed 5000. He is telling you you build schools and you are from a poor background. You are struggling to pay your rent. He is telling you you will help many poor people. Not by power, not by might, but by my spirit says the Lord. So I want to ask what can the Holy Ghost do through your life? That is the question. Jesus shifted Nicodemos' attention from the activity to the environment. It is normal there. It is normal when you get to heaven. What do you think? What do you think? What do you think will be obtainable there? What do you think will be possible there? Faith gives you the opportunity to supine and impose the laws and the possibilities of heaven here. That is what faith is. So number one. Like I said Nicodemos is asking how are you able to do this? And Jesus is saying except the man be born again. He cannot see the kingdom of God. Now this same born again that you claim to be born again. Jesus said that launches you into a different economy that opens you up to new possibilities. And then he said, "Are you in church today?" Come on, I said, "Are you in church today?" If he said except a man be born again, it means there is a possibility for everybody. Nicodemos thought he had come to interview a once in a lifetime kind of man. How are you able to do this then? And Jesus is saying this thing is normal and this can anybody who belongs to this kingdom can do it. So now the question is did Jesus lie? Did Jesus exaggerate? Because Jesus had this pattern in his early ministry. If you pay attention, when people were always amazed about the great things Jesus did. Jesus always used this as an opportunity to tell them what was possible to them in his name. Oh, Peter, you are amazed that I spoke to a tree and it was dragged up from his roots. If you say to this mountain, be removed and be cast into the sea and you don't doubt in your heart, you shall have what you say. Oh, you're amazed I'm walking on water. If you want, you can join me too. You're amazed that I spoke to the storm and the storm obeyed me. Settless generation, how long shall I be with you? Do you not realize you ought to be able to do it too? So now the question is, is Jesus telling the truth? That's the question. What he said about the kingdom is it true? Now think about it. The Bible tells us that all that Jesus was able to do, he did by this spirit. And that when he was going to heaven, he now left you that him Holy Spirit. The one that you have right now, that you only use for goosebumps and to speak in tongues. This was the reason behind Jesus' earthly ministry's success. That's him Holy Spirit, not an inferior one, not the downgraded version. So now I'm asking you, what can they mild when the Holy Ghost do? Our prototype, we have the archives of what he did. What can you do when the Holy Ghost? Based on all that we see in Jesus' earthly ministry, if Jesus was in your exact situation, where God had told you, has told you to stop that ministry, to stop that initiative and there are no resources for the Holy Ghost. What can be done? Let me tell you something. If you get what I'm teaching you, wherever the Lord sends you, you will do it with Jesus. And the funny thing is, you can be in church all your life and not get it. The codimos was a religious man, don't forget. Jesus said, you are a teacher of the Jews and you don't know this. So it's possible because this thing doesn't just answer to faithfulness, faithfully come into church. It answers to a consciousness and an expectation, the refusal of an ordinary life. He that comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder. You went to the doctor for a check-up. She gave you one report. But yet when you pray in your spirit, God keeps showing you all that you would do in the health. He shows you a family filled with children. What are you going to do about that? Now let me ask you an answer from your spirit. Is there luck in your life? Do you have all you need? Do you have the Holy Ghost? Is he enough? Are you sure? Can you take the world with this Holy Ghost? Well, then will you? Can anything stop you? You are amenantly glorious, immaculately beautiful. I can go on and on and on. But my words are not enough. My vocabularity will fail. So come meet me to cry, Ibaro. Look at your future settled and worship Him. Say. If I were you, I would sing with more faith. Say. Play. In my life. Is this service for you or you will wait till next week? Vocabularity will fail. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. If we have you, we have all we need. Thank you, Father. Be seated for a bit. Thank you, Jesus. So three things to quickly pay attention to. Who does God say we are? That's the question. We touched on this last week where Paul is praying for you. That the eyes of your understanding will be flooded with light to know the hope of His call it. The riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. The exceeding greatness of His power. Oswald, who believes, it means you can be powerful and not know. You can be faithful and not know what is yours. So Paul is praying for illumination, revelation in this spirit. Even Nicodemus did not get it. All the concepts were strange to him. How can a man be born when he is old? Will he end time to his mother's womb? And Jesus looked at him in an amazement. And said, are you a teacher of the Jews? And you don't know this? He that is born of the flesh is flesh. The same way you have biological life. Now there is an origin to your spiritual life. And you must be conscious of it. Still listen. So now you have two realms. And the one that you give preeminence. Will have preeminence in your life. Very simple. And so this is what the Bible says in Hebrews 12-9. Hebrews 12-9. This is going to bless you. Is there furthermore? We have had human fathers. We have a human biological origin. Human fathers who corrected us. And we pay them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the father of spirits and leave? And it's a choice to make. To pay attention to your spiritual origin. And the possibility therein. Spiritual realities. Guess what? The people of the world know this. They found illegal spiritual means to hack these things. And so they know what to do when there is luck in their life. They go to an altar, they put something, say some things. And it's almost as if resources start gravitating towards them. Of course, with negative consequences. The devil will give you, will left hand and collect with the right. But think about it. That someone will look at you and say you will see. And except you have the covering of God. You will see you. You know, we had a very powerful testimony in our Ibadon church. Some of our young ones, none of them ordained ministers. Just young ones went out to evangelize. And they went to evangelize to one alpha. Now, this alpha belongs to a carcass that they mix dark magic with what they claim to do. And they even give some pastors power. So initially, when these young ones came, he was annoyed that their audacity and tried to attack them and noticed there was a shield around them. Who are these ones? And then he dissent that what they carried was greater than what he carried. So he listened to them. They led him to Christ. He was in church last week. I'm not talking CCI pastors. I'm saying members. And I was telling them there are some pastors. He said I won't mention their names. Where the ones get the ways. And he saw these young ones. And dissent that what they carried was greater than what they carried. So he had to submit. In fact, he told us some things. He said there is one of our churches close to one of their places. Places of worship. And they feel that that place stops them. So they spent a few days speaking over that church that we shut down. That's one of our fastest green churches. And never see. Why not joking here? You know that, right? It's real and it works everywhere. It works everywhere. You know, I have a British friend. White guy, he was in my office. And he was just talking about the culture shock. You know, worshiping with Africans. And how everything is so energetic and spontaneous that, you know, in their culture. The rational mind cannot even grasp the concept of spontaneous worship. That when you want to think they need satellites. Which songs are we singing today? And they will sing it so loudly. So when someone picks the mic and is just singing as a spirit, they're like, what is this chaos? But understand this. It is not a culture preference. It is the word of God. What does the word of God teach? There are some things to learn from their culture, the accountability, the order. But when it comes to charismatic gifts. Something is missing there now. The last deeper Canada we had. The most violent manifestations of demons were from white people. Yes. There was a particular guy. Four people needed to hold him. So understand this. It's just the word of God. And if you are not conscious of this spirit realm. The devil likes it. He likes people like you. Because the devil likes to walk in cognitive. What God has asked you to do? Huh? Don't think like an accountant. Except God did not send you. If God sent you, it can be done. I know there are some people who have made a mess of this message. Trying to use it to obtain just material significance. They think that's the crux of the gospel. And that's a shame. Now think about it. Jesus told water to wine. That means if he wanted to be the richest man in the world, he could easily have been. And you get what I'm saying. But here is the irony. You only watch things that are scarce. Anybody who thinks that accumulation is a sign of spiritual maturity doesn't understand what we are saying. If you understood what we are talking about. And you know that all your needs in purpose are met. You will spend the rest of your life thinking of how to be a blessing to others. If you knew that money was no longer a factor, how will you live? You then spend your life being a blessing to others. So if you have committed your life to Christ in this way. And you know that your heart, your life is in His hands. What kind of purposeful life would you have? Some people who claim to understand this message. They are clapping themselves, coming down from log 0 scars. And they think that's the blessing of God. It's so, oh Jesus, you see. And there's a reason why really wealthy people run away from church. Because guess what? Sometimes we even think you were big until you spoke. Your testimony has reduced you in our eyes. You don't, you just don't know it. It's someone I was listening to years ago. The person said, I flew fast class. Do you realize some people since they were children? That's what they were born into. Oh, that's your testimony? There's some things I would have said, but I don't want to even embarrass the people. Because the people who really get this thing, they are privates. You know, there's a family I felt let to go and pray for. Very faithful woman. In fact, the first time the resident passed off that branch. She paid attention to her. They had seven hours prayer and she stood on one spot. I prayed through no brick. So she was wondering, what kind of woman is this? You know, and I just felt led. You know, to, I just felt led. You know, like Jesus said, I'm coming to yours. I said, I'm coming to yours. He thought I was joking. So I'm coming. The first time was the address. Where do you stay? I went in there. Very humble woman. And here are the women. Very humble. Your work comes out. Thank you for coming to my house. I went in there. There was a road through a park. He never drove me to church once. So just imagine the resident coming to church and that's the pastor's testimony. You have, you have, you have embarrassed us. You have embarrassed us. I don't know if I'm allowed to say this. You know, the daughter of one of the owners of an international airline. She was cooling through the internet and saw one of my ex-abs. And something funny happened. Just that shot ex-abs. She got filled the spirit and began to speak in tongues. This is something she had coveted since she was a child. She was speaking in tongues. So she was like, what kind of ministry is this? How can 90 seconds be so loaded? So she began to listen to her seminars, joined the church. She had been a member of our church for months. I didn't know. Until I wanted to travel for vacation, you know, our family. And so the moment she saw our names and all of that, she just paid for all of us. The entire family, business class. Now, I'm not imagining. I mean, I'm imagining. Such a person has been in church quietly. Imagine I'm bragging. I flew a business class. You didn't see what I had to talk. She was like, we're wondering, is everything okay? And the funny thing is, some people when they come to church, all they want is Jesus. People, people, you know, I don't know what you're about to present. She called me. I said, I heard you're in town. Please, can you come and pray for my family? I said, oh, you didn't speak on time. My flight is, for this time, I can't come. And I said, oh, no, I'll get you another flight. So, I was in this house. I was supposed to go by six. By 4.30, he was still talking. I'm calculating distance to the airport. So, I'm now, like, sorry. You said, what time is it flight? He said, no, do wait for you. So, I would, like, ah. So. Some, like, do wait for me. Okay. I do want to sound to. But, that's myself. I don't want to fall in the hands. I said, some people just want Jesus. I got there. Trove was straight to the tarmac. Was a private jet. Now, listen to me. If you see that guy on the route, eh? You will walk past him. Now, listen to me. What I am teaching is for people who want to fulfill God's plans for their lives. Are you getting me at all? Are you still in this church? You're not trying to make a name for yourself. Think about it. The same God who reacted in Genesis 11, when the people said, let's build the tower and make a name for ourselves. He's got the language. The same God now called Abraham in Genesis 12. The next chapter. And said, I will make your name great. So, the problem is not the name. The problem is, who gives it? That's all God wants. Who is giving it? Which leads me to the other extreme? Especially for those who have seen this extreme. Oh, the church is materialistic. This is not about that now. There are visions God has put in your heart. And you don't even have the nerve to believe in for it. And again, I'm telling you, without faith, it is impossible to please God. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Because the Spirit of God will test the extent to which you are ready to walk with Him. And they will carry you to a value of dry bones, all the limitations you have seen in that business. And we ask you, can these bones live? Can I ask you some questions, too? Can it still happen this year? And when this ministry was started, the Lord told me, it said, he that has more be given. He that does not have even what he has to be taken away. So, from that day, I developed the mentality. I assumed by faith that we had all we needed. The Lord told me, you will not need to go from office to office, asking for support for anything I've asked you to do. He said, I will bless the people in this ministry to fund it till date. That has been our testimony. So, I'm asking you, do you have the capital? Jesus looked at them with just five laws and 5,000 people to feed. He asked them, he said feed these people. Sometimes Jesus looks away from what you think is scarcity and is telling you get to drop down. Because the real currency is this spirit. Again, I'm asking you, do you have the Holy Ghost? Maybe there are some things you are still lacking. Is the Holy Ghost enough? And so now, with the eyes of the spirit, see all that God has set. See all that God has set. Your concepts of capital must change. Three things before I round off. Number one, my concept of capital must change. My concept of capital must change. Moses, your rod is enough. We do that job of oil is enough. Come on and you get to what I'm saying. The Bible says, the first page of your Bible, He says that the earth was dark and without void. Fromless. And that the Holy Ghost, the same Holy Ghost you said you have, hovered over the face of the deep and God said, let there be light. And second Corinthians 4 puts it this way. It says, God commanded light to shine out of darkness. It means from that very place where you are, with all that you think to be luck and difficulty, light can shine. I'm telling you what I know. It was in this church and I've said it a few times. A couple came, both husband and wife dreams. In the dream an angel appeared to both of them and told them, go to this church and give this past of money. And I know why they were giving me that money. It was for something. So they came after the service they apologized. Sorry to take your time sir. We are not members of this church, we dreams. The Lord said, we should come and give you this. There's some stories if I tell you. It's to be hard for you to believe. For me I'm telling you, if you dare to believe God, that assignment he has given you can be done. And the proof that is all about God, the same Jesus who could turn water to wine. When the time was right, he died. He died. He laid his life down. Because it is not about personal achievement. We love God, our concept of success is purples. Purples. So you don't hear this kind of sermon and say, I want to be the richest man in the world. Why? If the assignment that he has given you justifies it then yes. Only seek for yourself what God wants for you. But when God by himself has taken you out in the cool of the day and saying see the stars, see if he can count them. You say yes to all he has said with your full chest. Otherwise that will be unbelief. Some people are more pious than God. God is saying I want to lead you to a land flowing with milk and honey. The people in the wilderness are saying at least we had low costs in Egypt. Sometimes unbelief will sound like consecration. Your concept of capital must change. Number two, your concept of impossibility must change. God did not create the laws of biology as a limitation to what He wants to do in your life. It is true that a man must come together and both of them will procreate for them to have children. But listen when the Lord says to a virgin, you are about to be the mother of our Lord. You respond and say be it unto me according to your word. And when she says how can it happen? He says the Holy Ghost will come upon you. The power of the highest hallelujah, that's how. How will it happen for you also say by the Holy Ghost? Say in loud as they buy the Holy Ghost. The concept of impossibility must change. The axe head can float. What are the laws of physics when God has spoken? What are the laws of biology when God has spoken? What are the laws of economics when God has spoken? What are the laws of medicine when God has spoken? And sometimes God, to make a point, will choose the most impossible situations. Because if God told Moses to get water out of his fruit you can say well, fruit still has some water inside. He only multiplied it.
