100. Leveraging AI to Scale Your Family Practice (Not Replace Your Team)

The speaker emphasizes that AI should make you stronger, faster, and more efficient, not lead to downsizing. The correct perspective is to use AI to scale impact, revenue, and team productivity, rather than to cut costs or reduce headcount. By adopting a "who, not how" approach—hiring exceptional people first and then equipping them with AI—practices can achieve exponential growth (2X to 10X) while holding the line on overhead. The speaker outlines three main departments where AI is leveraged: content marketing (to crank out high-quality, impactful content), operations (to streamline systems, procedures, and data analysis), and leadership/management (to enhance efficiency and decision-making). Specific examples include using AI to create presentation templates, generate slide decks, and automate learning (e.g., transcribing videos for quick note-taking). The key takeaway is to go "all in" on AI, integrating it across all functions to maximize human creativity and ingenuity, ultimately serving more families and growing the practice without sacrificing quality or team culture.

(upbeat music) - AI should not make you smaller. It should make you stronger, faster, and more efficient. Do not look at it as I need to cut back on how many people are on my team. Continue to hire, continue to grow. - All right, Godpractorors and Godpractic students, welcome to the Family Practice Podcast. You know, the one you've been waiting way too long for because this podcast will actually stay focused on chiropractic, not only what it takes to get world class clinical results for kids and families in your community, but also what it takes to build a legendary, incredible Family Practice that takes care of your family way beyond your dream. I'm Dr. Tony Ebel and I'll be joined by Dr. Matt Hill, Dr. Ellie Wright and incredible guest, Cairo's Associate C.A.s, all these folks making massive impact around the world. We're going to cover everything, pediatric parent aid of Family Practice. This is the podcast you've been waiting for because moms and dads and families have always needed us. Now they're finally ready for us. I hope you're ready for the Family Practice Podcast. Let's go. Okay, Godpractorors and anybody listening, let me make a statement right out of the gates about what you're going to get out of this one. If you just leverage a little bit of what I'm about to teach with leveraging AI to scale, not necessarily just safe, we'll get there. We're going to get a lot of time saving out of this, but I want you to know that if you deploy even a little bit of this, I think your productivity goes up by 200%. It goes up to X. Now, if you go all in on AI, literally leverage the ever-living heck out of it, infuse yourself a little grant card on, a little Benjamin Hardy who are two authors of written books about 10 Xing, I think you can absolutely 10 X. I had this podcast episode because I've been thinking about AI this way. We're going to go there for five to 10 minutes to start this off. You have to get your thought process, right? You're going to get the perspective appropriately placed around AI and what it can do for your company, for your team, for your impact, for your revenue, for your life. And then we'll get into the strategy. Then I'll get very granular in this episode and I'll say, okay, here's exactly where we're using it and get a little bit in the weeds with exactly how we're using it. But let's start there. What would it actually look like if you two Xed your output right now, your productivity, if you three Xed it. Let's just stay in that. So suddenly worry about 10 X with this episode. It's possible when you really go nuts with chat, cloud, Gemini, perplexity and the whole thing. And this episode right here doesn't really depend upon which one you're using. I'm really migrating most of my work from chat, which is where I've been living into cloud. A lot of my leadership team is already fully in cloud, our writing team and our content team is fully in cloud. So I have a different position within the companies and chat has served me very well. So I don't know that I'll fully migrate everything to cloud, but point being when you two X, when you three X, here's the equation, here's the sequence of what can come, what will come from this episode if you go all in on this, okay? Number one, you're two Xing your impact, you three Xing your impact. What could be better than that? More kids, more families, more people in your community getting chiropractic care, neurological focus, kick ass, principal chiropractic care, come to Frickle, that's what we're here for, okay? Second, impact is how you get paid. Whatever amount of impact you put out into the world, that is directly proportional to your revenue, to your salary, to your take home. Everybody listening, don't tune this one out. If you're not a practice owner, associate, you absolutely should be leveraging AI to be much more highly efficient and productive and impactful and therefore impact, production, revenue production in your position. And again, the title of this one, we're looking at growing and scaling by leveraging AI. Well, we're also gonna save, okay? What if you could not only increase your impact and your revenue and what your company produces, but you could actually hold the line on your overhead, on your expenses? What if you could actually reduce it a little bit? And that segues us right into this part of the conversation, the perspective. Our team, myself, under, so the team, under my leadership, we are leveraging AI across the entire company. So the leaders, the most kind of innovative tech savvy, people on the team, we've all been using it since it came out. We were a first adopter with Facebook and organic posting. We were a first adopter with Facebook and meta ads. We got an Instagram and started crushing reels early on when they were that. So the whole team to make more impact in the world, we've always been early adopters and we're all in. In fact, one of our five core principles is all in. Anything we do, we don't have donkey it. We don't have ASS it, we go all in. AI, no different. So the scale, the system that we've used, I guess I'm going to get into a little bit of the how or the other gains. What I've tasked a leadership team to do through this last six to 12 months, is our highest level team members and employees. We all need to be using it across all of our functions and all of our roles, okay? Not to make AI slop, not to have AI replace, our creativity, our ingenuity, and our experience, and the skill set our team has not at all, to actually leverage and increase our capacity to bring all those things to the forefront. I trusted, kind of mandated the leadership team to really leverage AI, and we've been on it for the last six to 12 months. Now we've been tracking, charting, and building out functions within chat. We've been building out PDFs and master prompts and we've been building out workflows within cloud and co-work, and the whole idea of the whole time, which has now come to fruition this year, is now we're taking AI to our entire team. Now remember, we have some moms who are care advocates and CA's on our team who don't even necessarily own laptops. They didn't go out and get college degrees, or we didn't take them from a professional career with a pantsuit in a briefcase, and then turn them into heartwarming care advocates. So I actually wanted to add that in there. You may be like, oh my goodness, that's a bit of a funny joke there. And it's also a true joke. So our team, the entire team, isn't necessarily the most tech savvy, but it's 2000 and 26, and AI is going nowhere. Neither is the perfect storm. Neither is the absolute epidemic, pandemic of chronic illness and suffering in babies, kiddos, full families, moms and dads, fertility issues, fertility rates are plummeting, autism is skyrocketing, all autoimmune conditions are going through the roof. You name it, people are suffering. So you can probably tell the picture I am painting for me, for our crew and our teams and yours. If we don't use it, we're not truly maximizing the opportunity that God has before us right now, to leverage AI, to scale our impact, and save a ton of time and money. This is an end presentation. And that's where I want to roll into the perspective. What I see right now, and it's actually what I think is a misplaced perspective, perhaps even a negative, or a sublutation that irritates me, a little bit like nails on a chalkboard, and I see it everywhere in the chiro business, you know, kind of Instagram, Facebook, seminar, thought leader circle right now, and I don't just see it in chiro business coaching land, I actually see it all over in business coaching land, period, everybody is talking about using AI to scale back your team, to decrease your overhead, to limit and reduce your payroll. Can I just pull a couple of words out there very intentionally here? When we take the approach to anything we're doing, and it has to do with cutting back, reducing, limiting, that's a different kind of neurophysiological energy that comes from us as a leadership team, into our company, into our teams, and out through our community, or through the marketplace. I gotta tell you that mindset, perspective, and the mental, emotional, turd strategic positioning that you take with AI is everything. So before I get into the back half of this, which is exactly how different department, different functions and roles, how we're actually leveraging AI, and I'll get there, you're gonna want to get your notes out. Actually, while I'm doing a podcast about AI, I should not tell you to take out a pen and paper, and write down the notes as to exactly how I'm going to teach you to leverage your AI as well, to scale and grow your clinic, not just save, not again saving, I've just successfully scaling, but you should not take a pen and paper, because AI is there, and on YouTube, you can actually install some AI called GlassP, G-L-A-S-P, and once you go to a YouTube video, I do this with Dan Martell's videos all the time, 'cause he teaches a lot of AI hacks, and a lot of AI strategies, and you know what, the way Dan Martell is wired, I don't always enjoy listening to him, unfortunately, none of you have that about me, but anyways, I will go to his, I'll be like, oh my gosh, that title, that hook, what he's teaching, I wanna know that stuff, and I will literally just pull the transcription and the talking points, bam, I can read it, within a couple of minutes, I've got the value of it. So, this one I'm going to, and most of the time, I'll actually listen to Dan's full videos, because he provides so much context and case studies to it as well, so the talking points have value, but you'll miss the secret sizzle sauce if you don't get the story. So what I'm gonna do for your brick-- and motor practice in the back after this. I'm gonna go through the three main departments of the practice, marketing, operations, those sort of things. And I'm gonna give you some very specific examples of how we use it. And you're gonna want that context as well. So, but this would be a great time if you don't already follow the pediatric experience and this podcast on YouTube, may not be where you wanna get the content all the time 'cause you might like to just use Spotify or Apple, like I do while you're driving or rucking or running or whatever, but this one, go to YouTube, install Glassp and then you can get the notes and you can literally have what I'm talking about in a very structured format. And I thought that'd be fun to teach you that in the middle of this episode as one example as to how I'm even becoming more productive and more efficient with my learning. And the way I go out and I learn from Dan Martell or Alex Ramozi or Gary Vee, and I use AI within the apps and within the software I use to learn from these folks and then I can literally download notes, put it into a Google document, put my own notes in there, install it into the things that I do and away we go. So, if I haven't driven this point home yet, I want you to know that you have two choices with AI and really the third one's better. How do I say to and you end up with three? Because a lot of people will say, hey, let me teach you to use AI to save. Let's get rid of a CA. This is just an update to VA's, right? A lot of times people were like, you don't need CA's. You can do everything yourself with the JNAP and online scheduling and Stripe and PayPal and Erno Venmo and you can look, like my was named yourself, super cheap, chiropractic, wellness center. Don't try and jazz it up. If you're trying to literally run a practice without kick ass humans in it. So a lot of people will take AI and they'll say, hey, save, cut back. We're gonna take AI with this episode and what we're doing with our companies and with the PX Tribe is we're saying, holy heck, God has AI here for us. Let's use it to 2X3X10X and become more productive, more creative, more effective, more efficient, more valuable, more impactful. And when you learn how to scale like this, you can actually increase your whole team's productivity while holding the line on expenses and payroll. Now that's crazy because most of the time once your company gets to a certain size, the only way you really grow, I mean, you've maximized your systems, your leveraging technology to the X capacity it could be before. And the main way you could grow is just hire a bunch of people, more associates, more marketing people, more care advocates, right? When we're talking about brick and mortar, now you can take this conversation and take everybody on your team, train them how to use AI and leverage the most out of each and every person on your team because they're going to leverage the hack out of AI throughout the whole team. And if you're not being serious about this, I don't think you're being very serious about the opportunity for growth, scaling, and efficiency, and margin protection in your company and in your business today. This is how you scale. This is how you protect your margins. This is how you exponentially increase your impact. And from here forward, this is also how you grow your practice without you having to feel like you do everything for your team because if you're the leader in leveraging AI, guess what you can do. Teach your team how to use it. I literally, just today, ahead of recording this podcast here this evening, we just added so many more what we call teaching team chiropractors to team PX, some of the best clinicians and best clinical chiropractors are on the team. And they're going to help us teach some of the addressing seminars and the certification and the clinical mastery. Well, when you teach that, when you generate a side deck and a presentation, how good is it? If you really want to transform kids lives through other chiropractors, you have to deliver an effective presentation time after time. What I've done is I've created an absolute framework and template over all these years of teaching as to exactly how I deliver effective presentations, whether it's clinical, science, communication, or it could be this stuff like I'm talking about here today, business and practice growth. So I have a framework and I have a template of exactly how I generate world class presentations, zoom training or live presentations. Now I'm asking other people to come onto my team and deliver effective impactful presentations at the same level. There's a high standard. I've been doing this for a long period of time and the miracles on the other end of everything we do matter most to me. So I'm obsessed with excellence. I'm obsessed with effectiveness when I'm teaching. So I need this team to be at this level. So I leveraged AI to do it. I took my template. I took my frameworks. I took my outlines and I took 10 of my most effective talks. The recordings, the slide decks, the PDFs, the handouts, anytime we teach if you're a PX member, you know this. We teach in not just an inspirational way. Inspiration is awesome, but we're obsessed with implementation. So every seminar, every zoom training, through your PX membership, or through a live seminar, we already know and we've already pre-planned exactly how to teach you to install it, implement it, and take action on it in your practice. It's what separates us from everybody else. So there's a system to that. Well, I was able to leverage an AI prompt and turn my SOP standard operating procedure into that. So then everybody on my team could install that SOP as a prompt into their chat and into their cloud. Now they within far less time and with greater accuracy and effectiveness can deliver a presentation and build a slide deck at the same level of effectiveness and implementation and transformation that I can. It's an incredible opportunity right before us and I can stay on this microphone for four hours and give you examples of how we've leveraged AI within our companies myself as the CVO, C-O, you know, if you're a COO operational, you need to be all in on this. C-M-O, I'm gonna go there next, you need to be in all in on this. I can stay on here for hours and hours and hours, but let me go in to the big stuff. Okay, punchline, AI should not make you smaller, it should make you stronger, faster and more efficient. No matter how good AI gets, it will never catch up to God's design. Humans, for the rest of our days, will continue to be the most impactful business revenue, impact growing machines you could ever install in your practice. So therefore it becomes the third answer like we were looting to before. You could use it to scale, you could use it to save, or you could use it to do both. And in this case, you could grow your business, the quote unquote old school way, hiring more A plus high level humans, or you could try and turn everything over to AI and deploy technology, or you could go with the AND and you could do both. You could continue to grow your companies by hiring at a rapid rate with A plus players and then make sure they and everybody who has a seed on the bus on your team leverages and deploys AI at its fullest capacity. So that concept right there is something called who, not how. I've never not been obsessed with who, not how. When we look at growing our practice and we say, hey, we want to increase our new patience, which means we want to increase the effectiveness of our marketing. I don't look at me first and go, how can I make that happen? I look at the team and I go, who are we missing? Who's a marketing machine that we don't yet have on the team that could make that happen? What if we want to increase our adjusting volume and we want to adjust more patients per week and serve more patients? I need to look at that as a who, not how problem first, we'll get to the how and I need to hire associate doctors. I need to get some world class core value subluxation slay and hope dealing chiropractor is on the team. So who, not how, is still the philosophy and the strategic plan I'm going to take to grow my companies from here forward. The brick and mortar practice, PX, which is our clinical training and practice growth, you know, chirodic chiro machine, and then our third company, which is our massive takeover for the conventional pediatrician, media hub, content agency. So when we look at that, who, not how framework, don't get rid of it and make sure, an only hire chat and only hire a cloud, okay? Make sure you're hiring high level world class team members to then get in, get after it and leverage AI, okay? At this point, you probably have my mindset, my concept, my perspective, my high level, CVO, frickin growth and scaling machine, minded perspective, pretty well beat into by this point of the podcast. Now you may be thinking, dude, get to it. How do you use AI? Let me go through the three main departments that we use AI with. And I'm going to go through the three main departments And I want to focus on two of them. I want you to use AI to its fricking fullest. One of them be very, very careful. Number one bleeds into number two because they're kind of the same thing, one done on the outside, one done on the inside. But then when we get to that third one, leadership, management, business operation, systems, procedures, data pulling, tracking, analysis, reporting, holy heck, turn it loose. Okay, so get ready. Here we go. Category number one, department number one that I am leveraging AI like nobody's business is through our content marketing output machine. So the way I look at my companies, whether it's PWC, the brick and mortar, or the other ones, I have been following Gary Vee and then a newer buffer, you know, Shorts and Crocs wear a nasal strip, awesome version of him is Alex Hormozzi. They are absolute content cranking out machines. And years ago, I mean, this has got to be going back 15 years ago and plus, I think he wrote crushing it the same year, so that's almost 20 years. I think crushing it from Gary Vee came out the year I started my practice. And then I've been following him on YouTube and then same with Hormozzi. I was watching Hormozzi on YouTube. Thanks, shout out to Dr. David Tuhill, and Dr. Angus Pike, two other marketing wizards in the Chiaparactor profession who told me to follow Hormozzi. Since Hormozzi was doing videos from his closet with the white tank tap and nasal strip on. Hey, Docs, Dr. Tony here, and we've officially entered the neuroage and that changes everything. Today's parents are more educated, more tech savvy and they're not buying guesswork anymore. They want certainty, they want clarity, they want data. That's why Dr. David Fletcher and I are hosting a free training called the neuroage has arrived. And we're going to show you exactly how to lead with the inside scans, build data-driven care plans, and become the go-to doctor for full families in your community. You'll walk away knowing how to use the inside scans and that incredible technology like HRV, thermal, and EMG to deliver world-class results and build massive trust with moms and dads in your community. Register now through the link in today's show notes. Honestly, this is the new standard for family practice. Let's meet it, let's rise to it. What Gary V said years ago is it doesn't matter whether you're a chiropractor or a realtor, you need to look at your company as a media company, as a media hub. I heard that, I felt that, I understood that, and I've been 1,000% about that from the very beginning. So if you've done even a little bit of contact creation for social media, even a little bit of marketing for your practice and startups, business owners, I'll be in facetious here. You frickin' know that marketing buries you. You look at it from a surface, you're like, I gotta do a couple of workshops, I just gotta post once a day, I gotta do a couple of community connections and meetups, go to coffee with the doula or a pediatric PT or a functional medicine doctor or two or three kind of over the course of time. You're like marketing on the surface, no big deal. And then you do it when you're like, where is all my time going? Yeah, to marketing. Let's hold in on content marketing 'cause this is where we're going to deploy AI in a major way, but we're also going to throw up a massive caution. Be careful, don't use it for this sign here in a couple of minutes. Don't frickin' piece out on this episode. 'Cause if you're using AI to do something that I see, a lot of car breaches are using AI to do, you're gonna lose, not win. And especially if you're following us and listening to this podcast 'cause you're a pediatric parent and a family car breifter, if you use AI to actually fully, entirely write your copy and scripts, or even worse, you were to put out an AI generated video. Moms are going to literally unfollow, block and tell everybody not to come to you. So there's a stopping point here within the marketing department where we're not going to deploy AI, but there's a really effective place where we are going to use AI. So here's where I use it. Number one, I will help it, or I will use it to help me go further down the road with brainstorming and ideation. So here's what you can't do with AI. You can't show up with a blank slate and be like, I have a car practice practice, help me create content. Oh my gosh, that prompt is like a flying seven adjustment for a colloquy baby. Not going to do the job, bro, Tato chip, okay? It's going to absolutely fail. So you have to show up prompting chat and claw GPT, you've got to know what direction you're going. You've got to know what questions to ask it. If you have struggled so much with marketing, specifically at this place for your entire career, where you're like, I actually don't know exactly what moms would be searching. I don't know what their pain point, so I don't know what their struggles are. I don't know what they would ask Google. I don't know what they would prompt chat GPT or clawed with. If you literally feel like you strike out from the very fricking batter's box of content creation and you don't know what topics to cover, you don't know what hooks or ideation, like if you were to show up to chat, pull it up on your laptop, you know, if you're watching on YouTube, I got my laptop here. And you don't even know how to prompt it. I want to sneak something into this episode called the PX Marketing Engine. Nobody knows how to prompt AI to create ideation and different hooks and different titles and different punchy, you know, click worthy, lead in conversations, titles, thumbnails into chat and perplexity and clawed like we do. Why? Because we've been organically creating content forever. And we know what works and we know what doesn't. So what I want you to know about marketing is I do a ton of it and it's sped me up like crazy and I use it left and right, but I show up already at least on first base. I'll probably better set if I'm gonna throw a baseball on LGI here, I already show up with my chat GPT and clawed on second base. I've had a few instances where I'm just loosely interested in a topic that I know nothing about. And I go into AI and I start asking it some questions and I start prompting it and I gotta tell ya, it takes me nowhere. It's so bland, it's so generic and it's so basic. Please hear this part of the episode. If you already feel like your marketing brain is bland, generic and basic and you don't really know how to create marketing content that moves the needle with moms and gets them to bring their kids and family into the office, you can skip the step I'm talking about here and you can fast forward to the part where next when we're talking about operations and scoreboards and SOPs and data analysis for the business of your practice and you can just hire us. If you are a PX member, you can deploy the PX marketing engine which is us, the best frickin' humans and pediatric eye fractures ever in the game of branding, marketing, social media, content creation, video creation, scripts, hooks, outlines, follow up emails, nurture emails, reactivation campaigns, referral campaigns, workshop ads, voucher ads, direct offer ads. If you don't, if you have a family practice and you're not using the PX marketing engine formerly known as PX plus to do everything that I'm teaching you here, you're kinda crazy because if AI can make you faster when you're good at it and then you have access to, now I don't know how to say this without sound like a jerk but don't mean it to be, I mean it to be effective for you for saving babies in your community. If you have access to the best pediatric, perinatal, family, nervous system focused chiropractor, marketers and content creators that the profession has ever seen and you can just plug and play our content and our frameworks and our hooks and our titles and our emails through the PX marketing engine, you can actually go further than AI, okay? You can save more money and create more productivity and more scale than even AI deployed through you and your team alone could do and that's actually a lot and you could just hire us, you could install the PX marketing agency and the PX marketing engine into your practice and if you don't even know that that exists, that's the first time you're hearing about it and you're not yet a PX member, well, B precludes A, we have to train you clinically before we deploy our marketing content through your social media platforms and your emails and your texts and everything else because we need to know, because the content works so well that we create, we need to know that when it works, goodness gracious, it will, it does, that when those kids and family show up in your office, you are already clinically trained to do the job there. So, a little bit of a three to five minute commercial being honest, straightforward, if I'm actually in the first user of PXME, if I'm in practice and marketing has exhausted me and I've struggled with marketing or honestly, I do this now with my own practice, I'm really good at it and I love it, but I wanna do more of it and save my time to be with patients, be with my family, be healthy, work on other components of the practice 'cause I'm just kind of fried with marketing We'll then reach out to us, send us the DM, ask about the PX marketing engine. turn that sucker on ASAP. Okay, let's move to operations. I use the heck out of AI in the operations procedures and systems. We use AI to literally so many of you have heard about standard operating procedures. You've heard about training manuals and the fact that your practice should have this. You know how important it is to have regular consistent meetings. If you're going to have meetings, you want to have a very effective agenda from the meetings. And then if you're going to have meetings, you want to have very effective follow-up. You want to make sure that everything that was discussed and hey, I'm going to do this and I'm going to do that, that somebody actually follows up and gets that work done. Replace the front end and the back end of operations with AI. Meaning once you have all the things you do and you can even just use voice activation software inside them and you can literally generate SOPs so quickly, so thoroughly and so effectively using AI. So for SOPs, standard operating procedures, training manuals, frameworks, outlines, you know, templates for your practice, it's crazy. Once you get into practice, you realize how many different functions and PDF checklists and SOPs you really need. And it can take forever to just sit down and write them out. Don't sit down and write them out. Get into AI, speak them out, take whatever you do have written down, which is, be honest, I have a practice in a business too. Most of you don't have jack written down. And so just talk through it and you'll be blown away by especially when you prompt it to generate an SOP out of your long rambling, loosely constructed, poorly organized, you know, voice text into it, it'll be blown away by how insanely skilled AI is at generating SOPs. The second place within operations, and this is very granular, but I freaking love it. And you probably have all seen them. You jump on Zoom, you jump on different meetings and you get an email afterwards and it has the meeting summary. We use Google Meet, so Gemini, Census R is our Zoom and then you get that. Those are gold. Those are gold, you can actually take those and then install them into your project management software like Asana or Monday.com or maybe use ClickUp. You can take those, integrate all of that, your project management software should be integrated with your, you know, communication software is Slack. I don't know that anybody's using anything other than Slack or should be. So in operations, we use them for SOP drafts, we use them for meeting summaries and we use AI for follow up. So we take our meetings and those summaries immediately go into project and tasks inside our project management software and that way a human doesn't need to sit there from the meeting, write everything down and then spend hours more after the meeting, building out the projects or building out the tasks inside the project management software. We literally use AI all the way through to bring that into action. Now the final place on this episode that I want to teach you that I use AI to the fullest and I recommend you do too is your scoreboards and your data analysis. I do not run a single stinking component of my businesses based upon emotion, 0%. When I make decisions, they're based upon data and they're based upon core values and they're based upon impact. And I went in the wrong order there. If we do this, will we impact more kids lives? If that gets a yes, we're moving on to step two. Number two, does it align with our mission, our vision, our core values and our strategic plan? Is this us? If yes, we're doing it. Number three on the decision making metrics is does the math make sense? Can we mathematically, financially make sense of this? Is this a need? Is this something that we struggle with and we need to get better at? There's a thousand examples that I could give you honestly about how much we've installed AI into our data polling, tracking, analysis and reporting. Now break those down to get to the decisions. Do you know what's exhausting you right now? Not how much you have to do, how many decisions you have to make. What if you could get to your decisions faster? What if you could get to your decisions cleaner with more confidence because you have more data, more complete data and more easy to understand data? I don't know about you all, but I didn't, I don't have an MBA. I'm not a CPA. I'm not a literal COO by training. So I've known my entire business career that I need to manage my practice based upon KPIs, forebords, spreadsheets and data. Honestly, just like marketing, we were talking about a couple of minutes ago, we think that the doing part is the exhausting part and the time consuming part. It's the gathering. So when you're doing marketing, it's actually the preparation on the front end and the repurposing on the back end that will exhaust you. That's where I've leveraged AI. I prepare faster and I repurpose easier, faster, more efficiently with marketing. I still have to do the work. I still have to make the podcast. I still have to go deliver the talk. I still have to go make the community connection, but I can save money on the front end. I can say sorry, yeah, money and time on the front end and money and time on the back end. Same with your data collection. What we have found is we have installed AI throughout all of our software and our spreadsheets. Now we're pulling more data than ever before and it's more complete, it's more organized and it's more thorough so I can get a report via AI and I can literally just prompt it to say, "Hey, man, I'm a chiropractor who grew up on a forum in Iowa and you just went through seven different spreadsheets and all these different variables of my practice. Can you break it down for me in simple Iowa farmer terms?" You guys, it can do that. It's actually that simple. If I were to go back and kind of redo the intro to this episode again, I would say, "You know the number one thing you need to do with AI. Frick and use it for what? Everything." Literally just get used to using it and you'll get blown away by how good it is at things you had no idea it could actually do. But I can't close this one down without coming back to that warning sign and I need to give you that list. Don't turn this podcast off yet because if you think this is on my list as to how I use AI, you'd be dead row. We do not use AI at all to generate copy that goes directly to parents. I don't use it for patients in my case, a lot of pediatric cases, parent communication. We don't let it write copy. And I said earlier, "Hey, we use it to write scripts." No, I write the scripts. We use it usually. This is going to, you're going to get this is telling me, this is exactly what he should use AI for. I'm a bit long-winded. When I write a script, it's long. When I write an outline, it's long. When I write an email, it's long. So what I ask AI to do is to take all the words that I usually spoke into it. If you have not downloaded whispers, I told you about glass on YouTube, also check out whispers. Okay, let me pull it up. I got my laptop right here. Whispers actually whispers flow is spelled without an age. It's WIS-PRO flow. Install it in everything. It even works with max, which is life saving. Where we do not use AI is scripting, objection handling, care plan explanations, report structures, parent or patient education handouts, follow up messaging, texting, social media copy, none of it. I will use AI to help form out ideation and get a little bit more options into my titles and my topics. I will you within marketing and parent and patient education. I will use AI to help me form up like a structure or kind of a presentation flow or skeleton, but I stop it when it comes to actually writing copy that we will print digitally or send to patients and I stop it entirely when it comes to actually writing copy that I would go into a microphone, go into a video and speak out to parents. Every bit of copy written in PXME is written by our team of experienced pediatric parent and own family car fractures and other moms. Okay, we do not use AI for copy writing or script creation because I don't know if you've tried it, but if you have, you know what I'm talking about. AI is a try hard. Moms don't just respond to structure, science and talking points. You can use AI to get very mechanical, very scientific and really get some kick ass stuff out of it in that framework. But when you ask AI to be human, it fails over and over again. Don't listen to everybody who is sub-luxated, working in a different business model than you. I think a lot of other businesses can absolutely probably get by with AI Slop. Maybe honestly even in car practice. I don't know. Maybe if you're selling decompression and. and you know, shockwave and it's a little bit more just old guys with back pain buying your product. You can probably speed this whole thing up and use AI to write your copy there too. But not when you sell your life transforming product to moms. If you think the regular consumer can spot AI slot, you should try moms. I've always said, 'cause it's always been true, that scripts and a pediatric and family practice don't go together. Scripts don't fly in a pediatric and family practice. Neither does AI copywriting, 'cause it's scripted. And it's easy to spot it. And most importantly, it's easy to feel it and easy to experience it. So we don't use AI in any of that and I don't suggest you to do it one little bit if you truly want a family practice. So bring in this sucker home. Big picture plus granular stuff we taught. What's the real goal? Save money? Mm-mm. Save more lives. We wanna put the same amount of hours from our team, but we want more out of them. We want more output, 'cause output equals impact. And that's the whole story with this conversation. It's not about cutting back. It's not about saving. If you're going into AI and you're like, "Ah, I can't wait to fire some people and save some money." Well, then this podcast is probably not one you listen to all the way through. Anyways, to listen to my closing arguments here, I can't believe I have this tool to do the work I'm called to do. It's insane. In the first three months of this year, I produced almost, I almost closed the gap. I almost produced as much marketing content in the first three months of this year as I did the entirety of last year. Nobody, I don't think, in a history of chiropractic, has ever produced more marketing content for the world, for this mission than I did last year. So if you think about that, that in three months, I almost created as many podcasts, as many articles, and as much marketing content in three months, as I did in 12, and those 12 months were a record setting year of output to create impact. Imagine what we could all do if we buy in entirely to the possibility and the capacity for exponential growth, impact, revenue generation, and then the side effect of deploying AI for your practice will yes, you'll be saving time, and you'll be saving money. So what am I doing with that save time, and that saved money? I'm reinvesting it back into my purpose, back into my mission, and back into my vision. We are actually hiring more people faster than ever before, because we trust that everybody on the team is going to deploy AI, full stop, full send, and if you want more training on exactly how we do this, how we deploy it, and then where we don't, all you gotta do is reach out to us, social media, website www.thepediatricexperience.com, and be like, how the heck do I get a part of this PX mission? 'Cause y'all are doing it, clinically, practice growth, and now we are even the leading innovators and utilizers of AI in the Chi-Practice Profession. Get on board, join the PX party, let's replace the pediatrician, and put them out of a job, so they're selling state farm insurance with Jake, and those pleated khakis, we'll see you on the next one. Podcast Summary

Key Points:

  1. AI should be used to amplify human potential, not replace it; the goal is to increase impact, productivity, and revenue by 2X to 10X.
  2. The correct mindset is crucial
  3. Leveraging AI across all departments (marketing, operations) can increase efficiency while protecting margins and overhead.
  4. Hire top-tier humans first (the "who, not how" philosophy), then empower them with AI tools to maximize their output.
  5. Specific AI applications include content marketing (creating high-volume, quality output) and operations (streamlining systems, data analysis, and reporting).
  6. AI can also be used for learning and note-taking (e.g., using tools like Glassp to transcribe and summarize videos for faster knowledge acquisition).

Summary:

The speaker emphasizes that AI should make you stronger, faster, and more efficient, not lead to downsizing. The correct perspective is to use AI to scale impact, revenue, and team productivity, rather than to cut costs or reduce headcount. By adopting a "who, not how" approach—hiring exceptional people first and then equipping them with AI—practices can achieve exponential growth (2X to 10X) while holding the line on overhead.

The speaker outlines three main departments where AI is leveraged: content marketing (to crank out high-quality, impactful content), operations (to streamline systems, procedures, and data analysis), and leadership/management (to enhance efficiency and decision-making). , transcribing videos for quick note-taking). The key takeaway is to go "all in" on AI, integrating it across all functions to maximize human creativity and ingenuity, ultimately serving more families and growing the practice without sacrificing quality or team culture.

FAQs

AI should make you stronger, faster, and more efficient, not smaller. The speaker advises against using AI to cut back on team size, encouraging continued hiring and growth instead.

AI can be leveraged to 2X or 3X productivity and impact, increasing revenue and efficiency while holding the line on overhead. It should be used to enhance human creativity and skill, not replace them.

The three departments are content marketing output, internal operations, and leadership management. The speaker recommends using AI heavily in content marketing and operations, but being careful with leadership tasks.

The speaker recommends creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and turning them into AI prompts for tools like Chat and Cloud. This helps team members deliver presentations and tasks at a high level of effectiveness.

The 'who, not how' framework means hiring high-level human talent first, then leveraging AI to amplify their productivity. The speaker advises against replacing people with AI, instead using both to grow the business.

The speaker recommends installing Glassp (G-L-A-S-P) on YouTube to pull transcriptions and talking points quickly, allowing for efficient learning and note-taking without manual writing.
