Let’s Talk – L’économie circulaire comme stratégie d’entreprise

The host critiques the NFL for poor game quality, excessive penalties, and declining ratings, highlighting a lack of competitiveness and excitement. He mocks the Buccaneers–Cowboys matchup as a poor prime-time choice due to team weaknesses and defensive vulnerability. In college football, he strongly favors Southern Miss to cover a +10.5 spread against Troy, citing a slow, low-scoring game with no high-scoring potential. The commentary shifts to broader concerns about the economy, where rising prices, corporate stock inflation, and public debt (like in Florida schools) signal systemic instability. Political commentary suggests Trump's actions are damaging the Republican party, with declining voter trust and a lack of authentic messaging. Social trends include a drop in alcohol consumption and the growth of minimalist, self-reliant lifestyles. The host warns of an inevitable economic squeeze, urging listeners to prepare for real hardship beyond financial markets. He also critiques media narratives and political distractions, emphasizing the need to focus on tangible economic realities. Despite entertaining sports picks, the overarching theme is a call to awareness and resilience in the face of growing societal and economic strain.

[music] Get ready for the political sensation with Superhost, a newsbreaker Preston Olson. Welcome to Preston Super Show, great show lined up for us today. What did I tell you about last night? Besides the Falcons dominating, 45-24 against the New Orleans Saints who are at home have everything going for them. Besides no running game, I mean nothing out of that running game. I told you it was going to be a scrub fest. The NFL has 32 teams. Ten of them have a winning record right now, five don't even have one win. That's an amateur league, man. That's amateur. That is not a dominant, fast-paced fun league if a few games are close every week. The referees have turned that into the no fun league and they will realize when the ratings keep going down. See that's when it starts to make a dent in what's happening here. Two many penalties, 963 penalties. We have more penalties than probably points at this point in the season. Buccaneers vs Cowboys on Thursday night, are you kidding me? I'm laughing my ass off. That is a terrible matchup for prime time, Jalen Daniels is not ready for the Cowboys on the road. They're about to throw him in there. They have no third string or four string quarterback on this Buccaneers team. It's Baker Mayfield who's out who's not having a good year and he's not playing very enthusiastically. And part of that is a lot of the time he starts scrambling before the defense even gets there. Then Buccaneerving, the running back for the Buccaneers, he's a no-show. Last week, absolute no-show. I don't know what this team's going to do. Defense all banged up, Cowboys about to just rip this defense apart. They'll bury that defense by half time on the scoreboard. You'll have another repeat of what you watched on Monday night. No one wants to see that garbage. Keep your garbage. You know, I have to laugh at this, gosh damn, I'd rather watch Pat McAfee in his goons in that little room with the basketball hoop, fight the bar stool cheese puffs in the WWE. I'd rather see a slobber knocker in the WWE than watch that. How about the white socks? See I didn't jinx them, didn't really talk any baseball yesterday. Today I'm talking baseball. Go white socks. Southside for life. They dominate the Cleveland Guardians. Two games in a row. You got hockey going. Not so well for the Black Hawks yet. It's a long season. Same thing with the NFL. It will get better. How much better? I don't know. Right now, it's definitely going to get better because it's kind of like how much worse is that going to be. I mean, it has to get better. Now Thursday night, they didn't do us any favors. But tonight, we do have college football. I have a pick for you on this college football game tonight. Southern Miss versus Troy. This is the sun belt. I don't see either of these teams really like shining in this game. But I do believe Southern Miss can cover the spread at plus ten and a half. I know the line is moving to like nine and a half right now. I like ten and a half. I think that's a solid spot for this team. I'm not impressed with Troy. Actually Troy has been an OK team, not like anything special. For the past couple of years, especially, they've been OK. This year, just flat. Southern Miss has been flat. The difference is, I'm getting the points with them and this game is not going to be high scoring. It's not a big high scoring game. Troy's O and four at the over. They don't get the over. Southern Miss is two and two at the over. So I'm not playing that. Either one of them is that good when it just comes to playing football. So I think this is a game that will grind down. It's a good one to get out of the way for college football. Yep, get it out of the way for the week. We're coming into that time of year where we will have football every day, just about, you know, and I like that a lot. So we get Southern Miss versus Troy tonight tomorrow. We get Jacksonville State, first Kennesaw State, and New Mexico State versus Florida International. And that last one will probably be a closer game than the first one. The first one might go over 49 and a half. That's where the total set that second game will talk more about tomorrow. Today Southern Miss versus Troy, I like plus 10 and a half total at 52 and a half. The only way they get there is because the defenses have to play really bad. If the defenses play really bad, they'll get the total, but I'm not worried about it. I'm going to stick with the spread tonight and Southern Miss who does have a running game. I like the running game for Southern Miss in this contest for this game. I like their running attack. I think it will benefit them a lot. It's going to burn up a lot of clock. Another reason I don't want to play the total. I don't see Southern Miss like doing extremely well. I don't see Troy doing extremely well. So I see that spread being where to be because it's really hard to pick a winner in that game. If you ask me, I think Southern Miss can pull off the win. But I'm going to stick with the points. We're going to play it some art. We're going to be sharp tonight coming at this the right way. Basketball is going to hit the under 30 and a half last night. Live on Lakers versus Sacramento Kings, when that was still in the third quarter, I took it. Live betting is the future for sure. Now, tonight you get the Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets, New Orleans Pelicans, Oklahoma City Thunder. This year's going to be a fantasy year for basketball for me for the most part. Player props, fantasy, some totals and stuff. But I don't want to be mess with spreads early on in the NBA season. Talk to me after Christmas Day, right? So we got this preseason NBA stuff going on. But I like preseason basketball because there's money to be made there. So again, we got Nets Hornets, Pelicans Thunder, Nuggets Jazz and Lakers versus Warriors. Lakers back to back. So you're going to see a lot of different guys in the game. Remember, they don't have LeBron. He's on the Sixers now. Warriors have who they need, not for a championship run, but for a good year. And I think though, when a preseason game here, that spreads a minus four and a half. That's the latest game 9 p.m. But like I said, now you're coming into the time of year. We're going to get it football almost every day. You're going to have a lot of other sports NBA hockey's going. Hockey's very good. It's built for the high definition. It's built for television nowadays. It's going to get a little more interest as time goes on. Right now, it's early in the season. So you'll see teams that are consistent early on. You probably want to ride those teams for the most part. You want to be kind of a fan of them early on. Later on in the season, it starts even now, right? So it's okay. Now you start taking some shots and, you know, I really like the over and hockey. That's the place to be early on in the year. I don't like the over. So hockey, I don't go too hard on betting. I'm really sticking with NFL, college football, a little bit of playoff baseball tonight for playoff baseball. You get some interesting games. You got the Dodger versus the Braves. That series tied up one to one. That's game three of the NLDS. The other side of the NLDS, you get the Brewer's first to Padres. The Brewer's lead that series to an O. So two games to NIL. Oh, folks, I got to say the Brewer's just clean house tonight. I don't like that Padres team. Don't like how they're built. It's time to split that up. Like I said, same thing I do with the Phillies. It's just time to split that nucleus up and just, you know, remake the team. It'll make the league better. I still feel like the Orioles are just a couple pieces away from being really good. The Dodgers versus the Braves here. You know, I have to say that just you have to kind of say the Dodgers until they don't. Now they have lost a game in the series, which is not good, because they want to sweep. But. They have a picture on the mound. That's a little suspect tonight. Yamamoto he can give up runs So I don't know about a blind pick in that game I would say you want to watch until about the third inning fourth inning and if no one scored by then It's very likely that the braves will win because they're at home But if the Dodgers come out early on and they're you know You know really doing good. They're kind of plowing away and you know looking good in this game I'm gonna say they'll win But if they don't come out scoring nothing for about the first four innings nothing from the Dodgers The braves are gonna take it. They'll outlast them and now want to go up to the one in that series Remember you have to win three games So it's not over for the Dodgers if they lose this game That's at 5 p.m. It's actually a little bit of an early star benefits at Lano. I just had to travel I think there's gonna be a Little bit of that kind of that you know bleeds through the pages in this game Again, I've just remind you Southern Miss verse Troy tonight. I like Southern Miss on the spread plus ten and a half before I kind of move on from sports. I know the WNBA is going. No one's really giving that much attention The most I could say about that is I don't hate the WNBA. I actually think there's a lot of potential for the WNBA in the future I like the New York Liberty as a team. I think the Atlanta Dream are built better Las Vegas aces They're good golden state Valkyries. They're good So those are that's who you're looking at that's who it's one of those teams that is going to Win this whole thing if you're asking me now outside in I say golden state looks really prime to win this But I think the dream having easier path. I think the dream just have to play the rebound game play the boards. They'll be liberty Then against the Valkyries. I just think it's a hard match up for them. I think they're better suited for the aces You know if the dream do finish off the liberty they beat them in the semi finals here I think it's going to be the dream verse of the Valkyries Then I have to give the edge to the Valkyries because they just have a little more speed And I do think that matters more in the WNBA than the NBA because in the NBA Everybody's about as fast as each other except for the big guys, right? So everybody else point guard shooting guard They're all about the same speed as each other. The only difference now is the strength Who's stronger and I do think the dream are the strongest team out of these four as far as like who can get the most boards I do think Vegas is a pretty like the women are pretty strong on that team But that the Valkyries just have the speed speed kills it wins and If the dream can't keep up with scorn, which I do see that being a problem if those two team match those two teams match up My preferred match up is liberty verse the aces and I think the liberty could win it But I think the dream wolf will beat liberty. It'll be tough for them to win a night Tonight liberty is going to come with a lot of fire But I do think the dream will win that series and then the Valkyries will probably come out on top and WNBA is not as hard to pay But it's definitely hard for them to do it. It's definitely hard for them to win College football tonight's on ESPN 2 7 p.m. Central time Southern Mississippi golden Eagles first the Troy Trojans A lot of people ride in Troy if they've been watching they understand It's not a lot going on. So get ready for you know grind it out type of game close game. It's good weather Cloudy night And then it'll get dark fast Now we're moving into some news Yesterday we talked about the plague Let's go that's going on in Russia that they're down playing now. They're saying it may have escaped from a lab in Siberia So so did it or not Is this the problem with this stuff? So did is it out? Is it in? We never know you get this is what I was saying yesterday. How can you trust anything coming out of there? France has major protests erupt today Police are fire and tear gas at the crowd tens of thousands Join the school protest. There's just so much going on in the world Trump and his guys got spooked about those terrorist threats to the B1 bomber sitting over there At the at the base in Europe After they got an extension to keep them there. So you know, they moved them all out of there But I think there's something else going on that we just don't know Left hand never knows what the right hand is doing They say the economy is doing great, but what they mean is that The corporations are raking the people over the coals. So when Hiring is down when there's not as many jobs The stocks move up people Put more into the stocks the corporate Types the bankers the stocks go up based on that. But it's really Nvidia Apple and Microsoft that are keeping the S&P a float That are keeping the stock market afloat and now you have to look at today like I said yesterday about my economic Game Theory and it's playing out today right what a Trump go out there and say When he was giving a speech and now even Texas governors like oh, yeah, I'm gonna skip that rally with Trump actually Because Trump suggested literally that I ran could take out Los Angeles or San Diego He was completely okay with that and I said Hey, dude, you have Steve Hilton Who's like super cool with Fox super tight with Fox news running for governor in California Trying to do the Republicans a solid and you're out there saying that Like the Zat you think that translates to votes. So 28 days left And the Democrats are coming with their blue wave. They're gonna they're going to sweep across the board In this election because this is Trump's plan. This has been his plan. His plan is not to help the Republicans His plan is to help himself And that's what he's going to do and his his family dynasty, but more importantly himself and he knows the Republicans Are really not helping him. They're just kind of playing nice with him until The next president comes in who they hope his fans For the most part once you once it's time to actually go out and campaign and stop around in two years for them they'll turn on Vance very quickly now We also have just a simple fact Nobody in the news yesterday. I mean, I'm listening to the radio They're all bragging because you know, they can talk to callers Which they never do and if they do talk to callers, it's like like a good conversation for the most part There's like one radio station out of here that that ever is really treating the callers well so japan protest after the US Marine is Accused of murder allegedly murdering someone and nobody talks about it in the news I mean, they don't even mention it the same way nobody mentioned that You know, Trump was out there saying China had a trade super weapon and oh, that's gone That's out of there What are we really looking at here you see all these distractions come around Before the election so the closer we get to the election the more distractions the more ways they try to look To get you off track, but you can just look at the price of the pump look at the price at what you're paying at the store If you run a business look at the price of your labor the cost of goods the cost of running your business And tell me if that's better in the last two years or it's worse. It's worse Florida public schools today come out said they've taken on more debt than ever before to pay just their bills Just to pay their bills just to keep the lights on in the school. They've taken out more debt than ever before This is not sustainable. This is not an economy that's doing well. It's a mirage It's a perfect example is mirage Now the Republicans do a great job of eating their own. They always have look at Ron Paul as a prime example He had the right plan. He had the right place. He was saying the right things and they pushed him out of the party They tried a strong man and with Rick Perry remember that and then Rick Perry couldn't remember three things And then what Trump do give Rick Perry a job and Rick Perry couldn't even remember three things in that debate against Mitt Romney all the department of Well to department and And we know it's, it's of the government. (laughs) And it was like, yeah, buddy. Okay, right on. You know, and the people were actually saying, they wanted him to be president, like, wow. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. You see, every day, this is exactly what's going to happen. Trump is going to make it harder for the Republicans. He was out there campaigning, no one's paying attention. News channels aren't picking it up, aren't covering it. The Republicans are out there giving you the same song and dance the Democrats are. They're both talking about some kind of affordability that message is gotten lost in the sand. They really don't have a message for this election. Their message is, we made a mess. Please forgive us and come vote for us again. No, that's not going to work. You're not going to smooth talk your way out of this. You're not going to tell us that if we give you, you know, oh, just two more years to get the gas price up to $10 a gallon, then you'll really love us. You know, it's like, what are we looking at here? Because right now, they have failed. They have failed bigger than ever, worse than ever. And every day, I'm telling you, every single day, Trump is going to go out there somehow some way, and make it harder for the Republicans to win. That's why the Texas governor came out and said, no, I'm going to skip that rally when Trump comes up for Ken Baxon. And they're not even going to give that TV time. They're not going to give that the time of day. 28 days left until the Democrats come in and win. And I laughed my ass off at the Republicans as each one of them loses their job. They're going to lose that big bank role and they're back into doing nothing and loser bill because they can't afford those big houses anymore. That's what's coming. They're going to try to load up on the stock market real quick before it hits. And then you'll see the bottom come out. You see this is all part of the plan. Economic game theory at work. They got to run up the stocks. They got to get oil at the right price. Then it's going to shoot back up. So Trump's buddies can cash in on the oil, right? All the commodities, all the exchanges you see on the prediction markets. They are running it up, man. And there's no stopping them because it's not illegal. So here's the best part. It's not illegal. So they can do that. And it lawfully they're doing it. But it's gaming the system and it's not helping me or you because our prices continue to go up. And the way we get our goods and services don't get easier with AI. As a matter of fact, it gets more expensive with AI. Because the next part of that puzzle is saying, oh, well, now we have this AI. How do we charge people to use it? And we have to remove all these free features and limit everyone's time on there. And see what I'm saying? That's where it goes now. So people give really hunky dory and all happy about this and that. And it can make my shopping list for me. And I mean, that's great and everything. But I can remember my shopping list in my head. I'm sorry. I didn't fill it up with as much miller light as you. But there's plenty of that to go around hell. I went to the Burkots Super Store here. Super grocery store, right? And I would never probably buy anything out of there except something on sale. So because the price is just compared to like all the, or even Walmart, which I don't really go to Walmart. But I am a big Aldi shopper. When I look at Burkots and I go in there, all the beers on sale. All the beer, and I'm saying see, there's your thing. Because the biggest issue that's happening now with beer is in this is going to be huge problem for beer companies in the next five years. It's all going to break. All the supply lines are breaking. But the biggest part is the consumer base is drinking. There's less people now than ever that are drinking beer, that are drinking alcohol in general. And there's more people now that are just interested in kind of almost like a monk life, a quiet life, and a quiet existence. People aren't going more towards that. I talk about it in my book Defiance, the tiny home revolution. Didn't just spark people, it didn't just spark people to get in a small house. It spark people to really learn how to live on their own, to manage on their own, to get away from the bigger cities in the bigger areas. Now just big cities like Chicago and LA, New York City, but just other big cities around there, and get people to a place where they could actually be self-sustainable and sustain themselves instead of relying too much on all of these other supply lines that are breaking down and they're getting worse. And the pinch and the squeeze is coming. So enjoy your sports. Hey, enjoy your stocks. Enjoy whatever you do that's lawful and legal, enjoy it. Because I tell you now, when that squeeze comes, when that pain comes and it is coming, you better be prepared. That's my biggest thing for you. That really my biggest thing for you now is you gotta be prepared for when this bottom comes out. Not on the stock market, but on the economy. Because the economy itself is being squeezed. To the point where it's being strangled. To the point where it's harder for the people to do what they just simply need to do. So you see states trying to get rid of the gas tax, but the federal government still hasn't done it. And they're out there stomping around saying, look, just give us two more years. So we can jack these prices up on you a little bit more and we can help Israel. Wow, you know, they are a Christ rejecting nation. And yeah, Zionism is a poison pill, but don't worry about that. You know what I mean? Here's a little flash, here's a little flare. You get a little caught up in this. Get a little caught up in all these things. All these different little stories we can tell you about how everywhere else is going wrong. Just take a look at Gaza. Take a look at what's happened across Iraq and the Middle East right now. Everything the military and the soldiers over there went and fought for, it just gave it, it's were given right back to the terrorists now. And it's becoming Israel's conflict. And eventually Trump is going to resign. And they're not going to be able to count in the United States to help them. That's what's coming for Israel. And look, they have, they made the bed. Now they have to sleep in it, right? Same song and dance. Look, then you get to play that same song and dance. And you can enjoy it. Ladies and gentlemen, just like the hands of time, I'm turning it over to you. Good night and God bless. Song 37-4, KJV. Check out my new book, "October 16th." Our jobs, short stories and poems.

FAQs

Preston recommends Southern Miss to cover the spread of +10.5, citing their stronger running game and the game likely to be a grind rather than a high-scoring affair.

He says the league has become dull due to excessive penalties—more than points in some games—and poor quarterback performances, leading to predictable, low-energy matchups.

He finds it a poor prime-time choice, criticizing both teams' quarterback situations and defensive weaknesses, warning it will result in a one-sided blowout.

He advises against betting the total, as both teams are expected to play conservatively and the game is likely to be low-scoring, making the spread a more reliable bet.

He believes the economy is a mirage, with corporate profits driving stock prices while real wages and living costs rise, and consumer demand for goods like beer declining due to lifestyle shifts.

He believes Trump is intentionally undermining the Republican Party, causing internal divisions and making it harder for them to win, while the Democrats are poised to gain ground in the final 28 days.
