Lessons In Personal Transformation

The speaker emphasizes the brevity of human life, using Psalm 90 to compare man’s fleeting existence (like grass that withers by evening) to God’s eternity. Life is divided into three phases—Morning, Afternoon, and Night—each with diminishing energy. The morning phase (roughly ages 0–30) is the most critical because God grants maximum energy then to build difficult disciplines: spiritual practices, mental habits, career foundations, and emotional resilience. These disciplines, once mastered, become automated “systems” that allow efficient productivity in later phases. The devil’s goal is to waste youth through distractions (e.g., clubbing, relationships, frivolous pursuits), so people enter the afternoon phase without those systems, forcing them to work twice as hard with less energy. The speaker warns that wasted time cannot be recovered without extra discipline and grace, citing Paul’s example of laboring more than others after his late conversion. Purpose on earth is not just for this life but prepares believers for eternal work, where God will reward based on how they multiplied their assigned resources. Numbering one’s days—recognizing life’s shortness—cultivates wisdom and prevents the heavy regret of old age. The call is to stop wasting time and invest youth in building lasting disciplines.

Manvarefe tezonuru Bavirafe tezonuru. We will never have a night of November 2024. We will not have that. We will have a night of November 2025. By then we would have added some years. We would have added some days to your years. And with those days going, so is the energy. Going to the energy levels. So think about these things as we get into the conversation for today. And so one of the lessons in personal transformation that I would like to teach us briefly is "numbrain your days". "Numbrain your days". So I'm going to just reach through the sum and as I'm reading it, I'm explaining some things. And then I'll give you a task to do as a way to contemplate this particular conversation. So this was a prayer of Moses in some 90 and some just going to read it said, "Lord, through all the generations you have been our home." Says before the mountains were born, before you give birth to the earth and the world, from the beginning to end you are God. So I see him establishing here an absolute reference. The fact that God is the most absolute thing in this universe. And from him, every other thing takes reference. That means that God is the reference point for all of life. God is the reference point for time. He said, "You turn back to dust." You turn people back to dust saying, "Return to dust, you musters." And it's very profound for me because here he now also compares the immortality of God with the mortality of man. That God, even before the foundations of the world, exists and that he is the creator of all that we see. And then he now references that we humans are dust. That means this is a very strong comparison between the eternal God and the mortal man. And the fact that man and his time on earth here is mortal. And then he now goes forward to say, especially he does this to help us see how fleeting time is and how that we might think that we have maybe 70 years, 100 years to leave. But in the sight of God who is the absolute reference, that time comes from nothing. It says, "For you, a thousand years are as a person day, as brief as a few nights out." It said, "You strip people away like dreams that disappear. They are like grass that springs up in the morning. In the morning it blooms and flourishes but by evening it is dry and with that." So he compares the life of man to just a day. We have the morning season of our lives where there is bloom and flourishing but then by evening dry and without. That means the morning when you are born and then all through the day as you grow and then the evening your old age when you die and leave this earth. So he compares the life of man to a day and he puts it in comparison with the eternity of God and how that a thousand years in our eyes just like a day in the sight of man. So that means that truly the life of a man is a day. The life of a man is a day and in fact many years ago, many, many years ago, I think I was having a conversation with God and this is one unique way that God speaks to me. So he told me to look at that word man, M-A-N. That word man, M-A-N. And of course man here refers to mankind, all of humankind. Right? And he said to me, right, that what makes you a man is that you maximize your life in the morning, in the afternoon and in the night. And if you take the acronym of morning afternoon night, it means man, M for morning, A for afternoon, N for night. So your life can be consumed as a day. So there is the morning phase of your life, there is the afternoon phase of your life and then there is the night phase of your life. And there is this very interesting quote that I want to put in the mix. I can't remember who said it, well that is your name or somebody who said, says, as the morning shows the day, the child shows the man, what I'm trying to communicate is that the morning time is what brings the prophecy of what the remaining day will look like. Right? So being able to maximize your life in the morning phase of your life, in the afternoon phase of your life and in the night phase of your life, will really make you a fulfilled human being. So the life of man has been splitted into phases. You can call on the morning phase and the morning phase when you have all the energy and your quotes in your mind, you have all the time in the world, you have all the ambitions and all the all the energy to go about your day. And in the afternoon time, you take that energy from the morning time that you've got that in the morning time, you know, breakfast, exercise and things like this. And then you point in two certain tasks in the afternoon phase. And then by that, when by the time the afternoon phase is exhausted and the night is approaching, then you are tired and you want to go home and rest. That is how the life of the man is envisioned in the side of God. It is but just a day. It is but just a day in the side of God. And I want you to think about this, profound as I continue to read. It said, we will be the beneath your anger and we are overwhelmed by your fury. You spread out our sins before you are secret sins and you see them all. We live our lives beneath your wrath and in our ears will be grown. Then Vastheni said 70 years are given to us. So we are going to use this 70 years as a reference for the calculation that we want to do today. And then 80. And he says, Somali even lived to 80 in some translation. He says, by a reason of strength, Somali lived to 80. He said, but even the best years are filled with pain and trouble. Soon they disappear and we fly. We are come back to this and we are. Say, who can comprehend the power of your anger, your wrath is as awesome as the fear you deserve. He said, teach us. And now he says, teach us to realize the brevity of life so that we may grow in wisdom. King James Version says, so teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts to wisdom. Teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts to wisdom. And Bifile Version says, so teach us to number our days that we may cultivate and bring you a heart of wisdom. So this means that one of the things that God expects that we cultivate as we grow is wisdom. I don't know if it's right for me to have this conversation now, but let me quickly drop it in there. The purpose that God has given you to fulfill on this earth, I hope you know that that would be the basis of what you'll be doing in eternity. Eternity is not just you'll be singing praises morning to man. No, there is actually work for you to do in the world to come. In the world to come, we will be working. Yes, we won't just be singing praises and things like that. Yes, all that. But there will be work that God will assign to us as sons of God. Tomorrow we're going to look more into that in our family congress. Work will be assigned to us. So what you are doing on earth as purpose is just preparation for the work you will fulfill in eternity. There is another phase of that work that will be unveiled in eternity, but this is the first phase of it. I know this may sound shocking to some of you, but it's the truth. That purpose that God is giving you here on earth, there's a continuity of that purpose in eternity. We will be working. We will still continue with our agenda of fulfilling God's will for all of eternity. So there's actually work allotted to us in eternity and this is the preparatory phase of that next phase. See, we will remember ourselves, we will in the eternity side of life. We will remember ourselves. We will remember that we had these sessions. We would have that knowledge. We would know our memory will not disappear. Of course, they're imperfect to be done with it, but we will remember you will remember me as G.I. And I will remember you as well. But the only thing is that in heaven will be like brothers and sisters, you get seven, the will of the king, but we will remember each other. We will remember. If you read the script that I said that God was not a man. "Wyper-Wit tears from their eyes." You know, the context of the secretaries that indeed in the whiteron judgment where God is giving out rewards to Christians. You know, some people realize that are they lived their lives so path. And oh, God, you still wipe away tears from their eyes, but you will remember that. You will remember it's that maybe you had an opportunity to save God, but you didn't. Or maybe you didn't give your best. You will remember it, but of course, God will wipe away these tears from your eyes. And of course, now everything is perfected. So understand that what we are doing on this earth is it doesn't just end here. There is a continuity in the world to come. So God wants us to to know about our days on earth, to prepare our lives for that which is to come. To prepare ourselves for that which is to come. So that means that the life of a man is supposed to spend doing what God has assigned for him to do. And listen, I've got to the stage of my life where you see, I don't bother about the world's definition of certain things, for example, success. Because I know that I will be judged by what God has given to me. For example, when when we get to that side and God divides the purpose he gives you over the resources he gives you, it will be equal to one. That means that God assigns you resources on the earth based on the magnitude of the purpose he has given you. So that person, for example, you don't, you, you, you, you, you, you've never head off in social media. But is somewhere in the in the remote villages, for example, doing what God has approached him to do. When God divides his purpose over the resources that God gave him to be equal to one. And when God divides, for example, let me show you the purpose that he gave him over the resources he gave me to be equal to one. Right? For example, 12 over 12 is one. One million over one million is one. Do you get? But of course, the magnitude of the number is higher, but the result is one. So at the end of the day. But of course, there are some people who maybe God gave, for example, one million and maybe with prudence, they used 500 million, right? To execute that purpose. Their result would be true. Right? So just like, you know, the parallel talents where this one was giving five multiplied five and it was giving ten cities. Right? So our still what ship would determine our reward. But you see that one that was giving one buried it and gave the master one. He gave the master something, but he didn't multiply it. Do you get the point? So there will be a reward based on the assignment that God has given you, not based on the assignment that's given to another person. And that assignment that God has given to you and I is limited to time. It is limited to time. And not just limited to time. It is also limited to energy. And let me say this. In the morning phase of your life, right? That is the phase where you have most energy. Thank you, Jesus. That is when-- just give me a minute. Let me get the scripture for you. So lamentation, satatrivas, seven, let me people show you this. Because I want to explain something to you and how time relates to energy. The Bible says in lamentation, strivas, 27, he says, it is good for a man to bear his yoke, while he is young. New living translation puts it this way. And it is good for people to submit at an early age to the yoke of his discipline. It is good for people to submit at an early age to the yoke of his discipline. So let me give you a framework to understand this. God expects that the first few years of your life-- at least the first 30 years of your life-- you should submit to the yoke of certain disciplines. So consider the first 30 years of your life, the morning phase of your life, where you are supposed to submit to the yoke of discipline. Guess what? God apportioned you massive energy at that stage, more energy at that stage, so that you will use it to bear difficult yokes of discipline at that early age. And that is why what the devil is trying to do is, he's trying to get people to live in quote their best life in their 20s, 30s. What do they call best life? Clubbing, sleeping around, adding to their sexual experiences, doing funny things. Guess what? That period when God expects that you will spend your time and energy, cultivating the most difficult disciplines, that is when the devil wants to distract you. And guess what? Once you clock 30, you just have this strange realization that the energy in your body has depleted. It just happens. Even if you are dreaming, it's fine. You're dreaming, do it, it's like, yes, you are managing entropy. But you just know your body that's something shifted. You ask everybody who clock 30, the moment they clock 30, their body told them something. Now, even if you are still energetic, what you could tell that the energy level had reduced. Let me explain it this way. You know how that, you know, some days one hour looks like two hours to you, like maybe between six to seven looks very long. But at a certain time in your life, maybe become more busy, one hour looks like 15 minutes. That's the same thing that happens to your energy. Now, it may still be, let me just say 1,000 Jaws of energy. But what that 1,000 Jaws of energy can accomplish in one hour will be less than what you could accomplish without one hour when you are younger. That's the way the magic happens. You get this, right? So that first morning phase of your life, God give you energy in that period so that you will use it to cultivate the hardest disciplines. Number one, spiritual disciplines. That's the time to pray so fast, to study the word of God, to get to know God, to acquire a degree, you know, to decide what your career will be, and conquer the first degrees of those disciplines. And then once you have done that and in cultivation, that discipline, from that discipline, you now build a system. What that system does for you is that once you now enter the second phase of your life, the afternoon phase, where you may not have the same amount of energy as you had in the first phase, your systems of discipline will not be, will not be, will not be drawing out the virtue for you from those disciplines that you've learned. Let me give an example. You see how that, for example, you can dig your well and there is what time that well, right? Now you can, you know, you dug that well, you know, with your energy, and then you go to the water table. But what is the system? You now bring a ballwho equipment, right? And now put it inside that well so that, oh, you just need to just press one button and it pumps the water for you. Instead of you to now take bucket and start scooping the water, expanding extra energy, right? So the way God designed life is that, in the first 30 years of your life, you would dig those wells, right? And then set up a system, such that you now just press buttons to now pull out from that well. But what the devil wants to do to you is, he will cost you to waste your time in the first few years of your life. And then when you now clocktats, you're now, you get to that realization. You now want to use the second phase of your life, they are supposed to use, you know, and, you know, leveraged on systems to now dig the well. Guess what? You won't be able to dig as much because your energy has shortened. So what would normally have taken, let me say for example, 10 years to do in the money phase of your life, might take you 20 years to do in the absolute phase of your life because you don't have the same level of energy. And now think about it, societal constructs, certain careers will not accept you after you cross-state you. They will not accept you. So you now spend the money phase of your life doing nonsense. And you think that this is the best phase of your life. And guess what? Some people even in that afternoon phase, they still want to play around because they don't understand the brevity of life and they don't understand how important it is for us to number our days so that we apply our hash to the stuff. So in the money phase of your life, you have more energy than you do in the afternoon phase. So in that money phase, you're supposed to build the spiritual discipline. Those mental disciplines, those emotional disciplines, those career disciplines, right? That you now set up a system that will pay you in the afternoon phase of your life. I'll give you an example. And this is not to put myself out there as better than anybody. No. But because of the kind of work I did, especially in my spiritual life, in some other areas, in my defense, 20 years of my life. See ya! 'Things that it would take me just and be honest, ten to thirty minutes to do, that so another person who didn't build a discipline need to take them four to five hours. I get what I'm saying, right? So, and why is that so? Because I built the wells of that thing. So it's easy for me to just get to do those things because I've learned the discipline, I've understood how my mind works and how I do certain things. So I can do something that would take you five hours or somebody five hours, not you, for thirty minutes. And so sometimes in certain circles, I belong to someone who asks me, how is it that you have all these things doing but you still have time to do this other thing? The secret is simple, there are systems that build that I can do a lot in less time. And that's where mastery comes in. So the devil is trying to get you to actually waste your time. In fact, the devil's strategy is, let's get them to waste their time. We know that we've lost this battle in terms of, you know, Jesus has paid the price, you know, and as long as, you know, they come to Jesus up, we've lost them on that ground. But let's see if we can waste their time so that if God has given them thirty years to learn the particular discipline or to prepare themselves for a particular future, the waste that fed thirty years, pursue men up and down or pursue men up and down, those doing nonsense up and down, those building, building habits that will sabotage them in their afternoon phase of their life. That's the strategy. So that we now get to that afternoon phase and now realize, and you now want to get serious, some habits are dragging you down. Now, that is a strategy for redemption, but it is tough. I'm telling you, because if you wasted the first thirty years of your life, you need extra discipline to get you to catch up. You need extra discipline to get you to catch up. You need extra discipline. I'll see. I'm being honest with you. Let me know. I'm not going to deceive you that, oh God loves you. He's going to be well with you. It doesn't work that way. You need extra work to even leverage on the grace and the mercy of God. Look at what I post to Paul said. The way he described himself was that, you know, he was like an opposed to burn out of due time. He didn't meet Jesus. He said, see, but grace was given to me, but these grace that was made available for me, I used it to label more than they all. So Paul was giving grace, but he did more work than they all. So it was like someone who made Jesus very little, right? Yes, there was restoration. God encountered in giving grace, but he did more work. He suffered more than they. So don't don't think because God has shown you mercy. It doesn't mean you won't do double of the work. The grace is for you to do double of the work. And God will strengthen you to do it. So if you don't have that mindset that if you've lost time, you need to recover it. You would lose your afternoon time and also your ninth time. And when it comes to your ninth time, you'll be filled with regrets. Because as you get older, right, your memory becomes sharper. And then regret ways deeper than when you are younger. Where you are younger could have regrets, but when you are older, I'm telling you, regrets would feel heavier than gravity. So why is God bringing us this instruction today? Listen, stop wasting your time. In fact, at this stage of the life, there are certain things you shouldn't be thinking about. The same thing you shouldn't be discussing. There are certain things you shouldn't, you shouldn't be found doing. At this stage of your life, you shouldn't be thinking, ah, who is the next babe for me to pursue? You should be thinking that at this stage of your life. Do you know how much time you lose? Thinking about that in your mind. Do you know how much mental power requires you to to think those kind of thoughts? You can't be thinking, oh, what's the next man on the street? Let us, let's look beautiful. Let's people notice us. Let's do some things. Let's hide this kind of conversation that I've heard people say people getting to just very surprised. You're not thinking of how to build wealth. You're thinking of who to ask for money. You're not thinking of it. And you know, it sabotages your thinking process. You're not thinking, okay, how can we build systems of wealth that we are not to know benefits from. You're thinking we are going to add the next agent to keep. I don't understand. There are certain things at this stage of your life, you shouldn't be thinking about again. It shouldn't be at the top of your mind. If there are certain things that shouldn't be temptation to you again at this stage of your life. They shouldn't be temptation. These should be things that you sought out and kept. Let me tell you this in this. There are people that they devoured those in the country setting things. There are people that they devoured those in the money. There are people that they devoured those in the country fornication. There are people that they devoured those in the power. They've they've overcome all these things. So it's possible to get to a point where certain temptations don't even come to you again. Maybe it's higher levels of tests. Teachers to number our day. So I'm going to give you a practical stream of on how to number your day practically here. But understand that God expects that in the in the days you have energy, build, carry the yoke of your discipline, build systems that you take advantage of. You see most of these people that we classify as rich people. Who looks as if they're busy? They're not they're not busy doing too much. They're just busy doing the few things. For example, you see someone like Brigadier think that he's doing a lot. He's not doing a lot really. He has built certain systems and because of the influence that acquired something that would take you one month to do and taking five minutes. And that's truth. Oh my God. Teachers to number our days. They'll apply our hearts to wisdom. God expects growth at every stage of our lives. God expects certain things we should outgrow them. It shouldn't be a conversation anymore. And if he keeps popping up he means that you need to address this thing. If something, if for example, I'll give you temptations as an example. If there's a particular temptation you keep having is a sign of something you've not properly settled. And the thing about life is you will settle that thing before you move to the next level. You have to settle it because if you move to the next level that thing will still fall in you day. You must settle that particular thing once and for all because when Jesus was tempted, when the devil couldn't find him, the devil left him one opportune moment. The next opportune moment was when he wanted to kill him because he said the prince of this world comes, he has nothing in him. What the devil tries to do is he wants to waste your time. That's the tactic that he uses. Waste the earth time. So number one, remember this. God apportioned the greater energy of your life in the morning phase of your life so that you would use that energy to bear the yoke of your discipline, spiritual discipline, mental discipline, emotional discipline, how to make decisions, career disciplines. That is the yoke you're supposed to be in the first 30 years of your life. Look at Jesus as a model. In the first 12 years of his life, he had grown spiritual to the point where he knew the Torah and he could have conversations with doctors of the Lord. That is God's model that by 12 years old you should if you obtain certain levels of spiritual growth. That is the model. And then we see that between 12 and 30, we saw that he now went about to learn it. He was a captain and he was one of the best individuals if you read your history very well. So you see spiritual discipline, career discipline and then in between spiritual discipline and career discipline, you have all that discipline that familiar relationship finances because if you see the way Jesus managed his movement which is this apple, you see that Jesus too was a very good manager. He was a financial manager. He knew how to manage people and relationships with people. He had learned some of these skills. He had learned public speaking. He could speak in public. He could actually debate, you know, topics, trending topics in those days especially when you have to do really just thing. Especially in the era of his assignments. He was so vast in his assignment. He was so vast in the interview. He knew what his assignment was and he was good. He had the career as well. But of course he now stopped that activity to end down into food time. What's God according to you? So the very foundation of your life is spiritual and then you can now go on and add or adapt things to that spiritual foundation. So if you didn't build the spiritual foundation in the early years of your life, this is an opportunity for you to build it. But you need to double up. You need to double up. Stop wasting your time. Listen, let me advise you. If you didn't spend the first few years of your life, building spiritual disciplines. Listen, you need to sacrifice your fun times now for spiritual times. Sacrificate "Sacrifice, non-sense conversation times, sacrifice those things and use that to what brings the gap of the time you wasted." If you're asking for restoration and you're still doing the same thing you are doing, you will keep wasting your time. Yes, if you're making progress, but you won't be catching up with what God wants you to catch up with. So God needs to give you a crash course and a crash course is tedious. You need to sacrifice those times. Those times you stay away doing nothing, use it to pray, use it to study, use it to inquire, use it to build disciplines for yourselves. So numbering our days, start from understanding the number one, God is eternal. We are mortal. And that time is fleeting compared to eternity. And there's something Moses said in this Sam 90 and I want you to take note of this because it forms the basis of understanding why, you know, as you grow in life, your one hour will not necessarily equal to one hour. For example, your one hour may actually be worth 15 minutes. Let me explain. Let me use the next plane. He said in, let me, sorry, let me use an NLT. Invest. Invest 10. He said 70 years are given to us. Now 70 years looks like a lot of years, but it's not. He said some even lived to 80. Now look at this. What Moses was trying to say here is that. Now of course, let's say we have 70 years, right? It's that even the best years are filled with pain and trouble. So what pain and trouble does is that it takes away the value of one hour from you. For example, let's say you are supposed to take one hour to study the Bible. For example, or to study a book, right? And let me say you're good that maybe there is a problem that comes up. Maybe a financial problem, a family problem or a relationship or something just comes up. That pain and that trouble will rob you of the value of your one hour. Let me say for example, normally within one hour, you can read one chapter. But with the presence of that pain and trouble, it will reduce your energy and your concentration such that, you know, that one hour maybe you are supposed to use to read a book and assimilate a lot in one hour, right? The only portion of time within that one hour that you caught something was 15 minutes. And the rest of the time you are thinking about that problem. So as we grow and you know, life begins to happen, it begins to chip away on the value of one hour just like, you know, when currency is for example, what 1000 Naira could buy 10 years ago, 1000 Naira could not buy it now. Is it the same 1000 Naira? Yes, it's the same face value notes. It doesn't have the same purchasing power, right? So as you grow older, your hours do not have the same purchasing power as it had when you were younger. So what God is saying is, take the aliase of your life, the first few years of your life, when your time still has purchasing power, use it to buy truth, use it to buy discipline, use it to bear your youth so that when you get to the afternoon phase of your life, you will be casted out of the things you bought from that discipline and the systems you built. Because there will not be so much responsibility that one hour will no longer be one hour, but because of the disciplines you built in 15 minutes, you can do what you could have done in one hour before. So the value of your one hour one hour reduces to 15 minutes in terms of its purchasing power. So let me just go because I want you to do exercise. This is just the beginning of this conversation, right? But I want you to think about it. So I'm going to give you an exercise to do. And please, I want you to do this exercise. And this is the way I will know that you've listened to this after listening to this conversation. This is what I want you to do. Now you listen to it in the moment, you know, the court, the session ends. Let me know the things that you've learned from this session. Drop it on the Grotesque group. If you are not on the Grotesque group, right? Drop it on any of the Grotesque groups you belong to, but that is a cluster. Just drop your thought, what you've learned. Let me know what you've learned. And then I want you to do this assignment when you are doing this assignment, send me a personal DM and tell me what you realize by doing this assignment. This is how I will know that you listen to this session because I've just been separated and didn't need to. I won't say anything, you know, but you know, I won't say anything in the group about it. But this is how I will know that you listen to this. And then when you've finished, so I'm giving you two things to do, let me know what you have learned. You drop the session finishes. And then when you've done this assignment, send me a DM and tell me this is what I realized by doing this assignment. For this audience in Grotesque, send me a personal message, tell me what you've learned and also tell me what you need to exercise to help you realize. So let's do this exercise. And the reference for this exercise is that some 90 of us, 10, he says 70 years are given to us some even leave to 80. So we use 70 years and 80 years as the reference for what we are about to do. So I want you to take a piece of paper, a blank piece of paper on one side, right? 70 years. And on the other side, right? 80 years. Right? So give me a moment. After you've done that, right? Now subtract your current age from 70 and whatever the result is, put it under 70. Subtract your current age from 70. Let's say for example, you are 35, right? So under 70 subtract 35 from 70 and then to give it that's five, put it under 70. And then subtract your current age. Let's say if you are 35, subtract 35 from 80, put the result under 80, which is 45. So what it means is that based on the framework we have in sums, if you are 35 years, you have 35 more years to live. I know some people live up to 100, but this is reference point. This is where using the other reference point. So it means you've lived 35 years of your life and you have 35 years remaining. If it's 80, you've lived 35 years of your life and you have 45 years remaining. I know you look at this number of years and see it too much, it's plenty. But let's see how big it is. So take these 35 years, multiply it by 365 days. So convert the years to days, multiply it by 365. So for example, if you are 35 and you know your remaining years is 35 years, if you multiply your your remaining years, which is 35 by 365, it will give you 12,775 days. So that means you have 12,775 days more to live if 72 was your reference. If 80 was your reference, if you convert 45 years to days, it will give you 16,425 days. Now you look at this and it looks like a lot of days, but no problem. Let's keep going. And for some of you, you already seen that it's not, it's not actually not a lot of days, but let's just assume you're still seeing it as a lot of days. Convert those days to hours. So let's say for example, you are 35, so I'm using 35 as reference point for this calculation. Use your age as your own reference point. So for someone who is 35, if we are using 70 as reference, that means they have 306,600 hours of their life remaining. If it's 80, we are using them means they have 394,200 hours remaining. So but let me use the 70 as reference, so I'm not calling it a lot of numbers. So let's say 70 was not reference and you've lived that five years, you have that five years remaining, right? And that that five years amounts to 12,000 days remaining and that 12,000 days amounts to 306,000 hours. So that means that you have 306,000 hours to leave. Now that you look at it in terms of hours, you realize that the hours are ticking away. So those 30,600 hours or 300,000, 300,000 hours, every second is ticking away. It's ticking away. Every hour is reducing. That means that the much of time is leading you to your grave. The much of time is leading you to your grave. It's inevitable. That means that every day you leave, shortens the days you leave, the remaining days you leave, every hour you leave, shortens your time on this earth. That's what ageing does. It shortens your time on this earth. Now, 306,000 hours may look like a lot of hours. Right? So if you compare 35 years, 12,000 days and 36 hours, is the same thing, but you now begin to realize how flitting it looks. You see this. So let me shrink the time for you. Let me shrink the time for you. Right? Let's say you've lived 35 years. That means you've lived for 306,000 hours. Remember, business 70s reference. So if you've lived 35 years, that means you've lived 306,000 hours, and you have 306,000 hours a minute. So let me ask you a question. Those 306,000 hours you've lived, can you measure your impact for this number of hours on earth? Write down three things you will be remembered for, for living 306,000 hours on earth. Can you measure your impact for this 300,000 hours you've lived? What if you die today? What are we going to remember you for? Just one to three things we will remember you for. And those things are the things that we will, for the rest of our lives, we will keep remembering you for, or something that we just remember you for just two seconds. And then after the burial, we forget you. And that means that even for 10 years to come, those things you'll be still remember. If you're honest with yourself and your answer is no, you realize that you've not released that a living. Not that you've not already lived in, but you need to take your life more seriously. And to spend your time doing things that will count years after you are gone. So what can you measure your impact for the number of hours you've lived on earth? And who and who have you impacted by your life? Who and who have you impacted by your life? For this 300,000, 300,000, and 6000 hours, who will remember you for something good? If you go today, who will remember you for anything good? And that thing that they will remember you for, would they remember you for the rest of their lives? Or just for your life? Do you see how small it begins to look? So that means if you're 35 now, you have 300,000 more to live. 300,000 more hours to live. Do you see how small that time is? When you are compelled that time to number one, the energy level. So that means that the next 300,000 hours of your life that you would live will not be the same as the previous because of your energy level and strength. You will not have the same energy level and strength as you have in the last 300,000 hours. That means that there are certain things you may not be able to do that the younger person can do better. So that means that that 300,000 hours that you have remaining is not really 300,000 hours. Because if we calculate and say that for every one hour, what you really have is 15 minutes. So let me quickly do the calculation. So let me just quickly do the calculation. So remember that I said, I'm just using this as an example. Because of the as you grow your energy level and strength reduce, that means that what used to be your one hour before, what used to be your one hour before is now 15 minutes. That means the purchasing power of your time is no longer one hour is 15 minutes. I mean to this calculation. Oh my God. So think about it like this. So 61 hour is 16 minutes. And if you divide 60 by 4, it will give you 15 minutes. Right? No, no, no. So let me use 4. OK. 0.25. So 0.25 as 1 over 4 of the time. So one hour, in your past life, let me just use it in the first phase of your life. Your one hour could buy you one hour, what of stuff. But in the second phase of your life, because of the loss of energy and strength, let me just assume that what you really get out of one hour is 15 minutes in terms of energy and strength. That means that the value of your time has been reduced by one over 4. So that means that if you have 306,600 hours remaining to leave, what you actually have in terms of purchasing power is 76,650 hours remaining. And if you divide that-- Oh, Jesus Christ, listen, it's getting me right now. So OK, I'm talking as a thinking. But let me see thinking. If you have 35 now, and we're using 70 hours reference, you have-- that means you leave for 306,000 hours. And you have 306,000 hours remaining. But because of the energy loss, strength loss, let's say your one hour can only you do 15 minutes. So that means that the remaining 306,000 hours for you that is remaining is actually what? 76,000 hours. 76,000 hours. So convert 70,000 hours into this. You have 208 days. 208 days. That's scary. 208 days is-- is it up to 1 year? It's up to 1 year. So that means that if we're using this model, it may not necessarily be accurate. But I'm just using that as an example. But I'm simply trying to tell you that your one hour is not necessarily worth one hour anymore. That means that the remaining days of life, which is 300,000 hours, the real value is actually 76,000 hours. And if you convert that into this, that's 208 days. So you have less than a year to actually do something impactful in the remaining 305 days of your life. Isn't that crazy? That's crazy and that's very scary. So that means that if we use this model, which, of course, may not necessarily be the case. But what I'm simply trying to tell you is that the value of your hour diminishes as you grow older because of energy and strength. So they be 35 more years that you think you have. Actually, what you really have is less than five years in productivity. If you compare energy and strength, and then we're not even factoring in all the variables, there is societal influence, there is societal condition. There is a lot of things that a lot of external factors that influence your time and everything. That means that everything that is picking away from the value of your time. And then think about the time you spend fighting, the time you spend quarreling, the time you spend worrying, and just how many of you by worrying will add the qubits, expand to your life. So that means that you realize that so many activities that we indulge in, that are really taking away from the value of our one hour. You realize that you don't actually have time. You think you have maybe 35 more years or 40 more years. But what you actually have is maybe five to 10 years of productive hours of time. If you compare the value of one hour now, that strength is reducing. If you are still in your 20s, you still have opportunity to redeem certain times because the days are evil. Time is growing. Now, to even spoil everything, there is even social media destruction. So your one hour is no longer utterly one hour. In fact, this calculation is not even accurate. It should be less than 15 minutes. Because you might say, let me go to social media and just look at a few things. You say, I'll just spend one hour. And you realize I spend four hours scrolling. Y'all know that you're not even 10 minutes anymore because of even distractions. So I didn't even add distractions when I was preparing for this. So what I'm going to do, I'm going to create a proper model, a mathematical model, just a random mathematical model, and I'm going to test it out, to factor in distractions, to factor in energy level and strangely using, to factor in problems and pain, to factor in relationship demands and everything, to factor in financial demands and everything, and calculate what the worth of one hour is in this time. You will realize that one hour will not even be worth up to five to 10 minutes. So that means that your one year is not even what up to one year. Maybe it's the real value for checking this, maybe, a few weeks. So we don't really have time. When I've been praying to go to teach me to number my days and one morning, when I was in my morning position, he's there talking to me about this. He's there teaching me this map, teaching you now, and I got worried. I just realized that it won't need to know these things, and that's, okay, I had a very good child within terms of the foundation. What men have not done anything. I've wasted my time in so many things I shouldn't have wasted my time in doing it. So friends, you realize that we don't have time. We don't have time. Well, you see, there is a mystery in God. It's called the mystery of restoration. And there's something he said, he said, I will restore the years, the low cost and the can come as it's notes that what the low cost will eat is years. What the low cost will eat is years, not leaves, years. So when, of course, low costs are imagery for some spiritual entities, negative spiritual entities in that context. So what the devil tries to do is to eat your years by wasting your time. How does he do it? Number one, in your early years, you make sure that of course, your parents have a lot of problems that do spend a lot of time be carrying or maybe fighting about things that they will ignore you. And they now start to acquire certain habits that will drain your time when God wants to start working with you. So he will set up that system to make sure that everything in life would just take you with your time. And then number two, he would join you with friends who will encourage you, let's have the best years of our lives. Let's have the best times of our life. And then you go drinking, you go cropping, of course not grotesque people. But I'm saying this for the benefit of those who listen to it. Listen, part of the side what I do is, I walk as a dose professor, what it means is that I, okay, let me put it this way. I'm opportune to see, let me use it this way, I'm opportune to see the number of hours that young people waste, drinking, clubbing, smoking, and doing a lot of things. Now this is not on the average. In fact, when I was exposed to this, I just realized that all those who are used to criticize and engineering people that they good-stretch a lot, they are just in fact, I wanted, of course, there's not singing these words, but they are not well at all. Do you know that these people on the average, see, this is average, not the proper estimation. On the average, on the average, they spend at least 30 hours every week, clubbing, drinking, smoking, and normal non-grabbing. 30 hours. And this out of these 30 hours, Mandatory Fridays on Saturdays, 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. in the morning for six hours, you see that 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. When is the most sensitive time of the night? We have to go to pray and, you know, there's sensitivity in the realms, right? We have to go to pray and study and do a lot of things. That's when they are clubbing. So at least 12 hours every Friday and Saturday combined, they are wasting the way on, and for straight six hours, they'll be dancing, singing, drinking, and smoking for straight six hours. And then you will hear that there is a church doing seven hours by the study and you're complaining, they're doing too much. You don't know what's doing. You don't know what is making you say those things, because sometimes you say things that you think is sense, but is the spirit speaking through you? People spend 12 hours at least every weekend. Non-stop, drinking, dancing, fighting, breaking bottles, smoking for just the constant for six hours stretch, they won't feel sleepy. But then you would maybe go to church, spend six hours praying, maybe start denying, they say you're carrying this God on your head. But when I realized, and I was like, if I hear anybody that said I'm nonsense, and especially you cause me to be Christian, they will speak to them, they will think about their lives 10 times. This will spend hours, money, just doing nonsense. And sometimes when I see them like God, the gospel is needed here. People are wasting their time. And how about that? Okay, let me go down this path. But know that all those times you spend, and in fact, when I saw this, I just go up, so I was like, wait, two. Even in Grotseq, where we say just commit to hours every week, for whatever sessions we are doing, even people are complaining about it. You don't even know how, how understated what we are doing is, and what I mean is, when I was spending enough time on the monthly basis, do what we are doing, we don't spend enough time. I mean, if I compare it to the rate of decadence, we are not spending enough time, we are not, we are not spending enough time. There are sometimes going to teach you in December, I call it John Gook. Lessons you are afraid to learn. I will tell you some truths that I would, and it will not be a mess, it will be a government, because I won't record it. I will say some things that if you love your life, it will be painful, it will be very painful, but it will set you free. I will tell you some things. And if you really love your life, or your destiny, you would take it so hard, and let that pain, that pain, the truth will bring you, let it, it will not pain you because of the way I will say it. In fact, our time and say it as nice as possible, where it will pain you. Because it will reveal certain things that most people are afraid to reveal about life. There is no time you spend saving God, that is the wasted time. You are not being brainwashed, I'm telling you. If you see what people are doing out there with your time, you realize that you're not being brainwashed at all. You're not being brainwashed at all. If you spend your time studying books, preparing the career, building the career, you are not always seeing your time, we are doing good. Because if you see what people spend time and money doing, you'll be like, "Man, you've not done enough, you've not become fanatical enough for your destiny, you're not fanatical enough, you're not crazy enough about your destiny." So the value of one year in terms of the returns is actually a few weeks, based on this model. And I'm going to the notice model, even a little bit more. You don't have time. You don't have time. You don't have time. I'm telling you, you don't. Even if you have 50 more years to leave, that 50 years is not what 50 years. Just like you might have, Naira and your account now, it's not what you used to what. It's the same thing with time. Your one hour is not really what one hour, I'm telling you. It may be what about 10 minutes in terms of, and that is why one of the things I've learned is, and if I don't do it like this every day, it affects my day. Let me just give you this tip and I round up. If you want to have more productive use of your time, figure out that thing, that activity that you would do first, that puts you into that focused state of mind to do work. For example, me, is prayer and studying on the world of God. It unites my mind into one focused entity to do work. So if I want to have the best productive day, our first of all, wake up in the morning, pray, study the world of God. And then after that, I'll just get my to-do list and then begin to cross off the most difficult things on my to-do list. Every time I successfully do that, by 12 minutes, I'm done with every important thing I need to do. So figure out that thing that gets you into that zone of deep work. Always do it first. If it's listening to music, if it's praying, if it's reading something, do it first, and then gets to work. Halt your day by at least 50% If you start 5 a.m. in the morning and you do that activity that prepares you for the day and then you start your day by 7.8 a.m. Before you get to 12.1, you have done the most difficult tasks that you set out to do that day and then you now have the remaining hours of the day so you do the most difficult high energy ones first but first get into the zone. If you don't get into the zone, you can spend 3 hours trying to get into the zone and you've lost 3 hours already. So that's one of these productivity hacks that we're not beginning to look at next year in 2025 because we want to be even more decisive, you know, as a community in achieving our goals in fulfilling our purpose. So but understand you don't have time and I feel in my spirit that this session we should have more of it or at every opportunity I get I should drum this into your ears that you don't have time. Think of the most important things in your life and invest more in them. I read, listen, I reduced the most important thing in my life into 3 keywords. Number 1, Kingdom. Number 2, Family, Number 3, Business in this order. So that means that these 3 things should get the most valuable hours of my day, my resources, my energy and my attention. If it's not Kingdom, Family and Business, then it should come later. Later, later. Kingdom, Family, Business. So these are the top 3 things for me and I've conceptualized in these 3 sections. Anything that will promote the Kingdom of God, give it attention. Anything that will promote family, give it attention. Anything that will promote business enterprise. These are the things, anything outside this. I don't have to give it priority. And this is the way you now begin to redeem your time. This is how to number your days so that you can give back to God a heart of wisdom. God wants to do a lot to your life and I want to say to you today, it doesn't matter how much time you've wasted. Start from where you are. It is never too late to get it right. Now, yes, it may be tedious, the process of recovery, but it is never too late to start. One of the covenants I made with God before I started out all this and I don't care who you sent to me whether they are 5-year-old or 85-year-old. And even if they just have the 85-year-old person has just 5 years to live, I believe that in that 5 years, their life can be transformed so that they can live even in little legacy in the world today. So it is not doom and gloom for you. But now, be you responsible. There are certain things that shouldn't be temptations to you anymore. There are certain things that shouldn't be your conversations anymore. There are certain things that shouldn't be attractive to you anymore. There are certain things that shouldn't be something that turns your neck anymore. Grow, grow, grow out of it. It shouldn't chip you anymore. Those things shouldn't cut. It shouldn't be an important conversation. In fact, when you come into a midst of your friends' their certain conversations, they shouldn't be comfortable having this "okay, it's fine." They shouldn't be comfortable having them. It's fine. You're doing well. Glorious things are spoken of you some 87 years ago. Please, I beg you. It doesn't matter what mistake you've made. Please, from now on, be responsible. Because you give to God an account of your personal transformation journey. That renewing of the mind process, you tell God what you did with it. With all the resources that He gave us in His Spirit, He will ask us, "What did you do with it?" So, in your quest for personal transformation, please lend to number your days. Always remind yourself, "My one hour eyes, "not really what one hour anymore. "What can I do to redeem the time?" And of course, always take advantage of the grace and the mercy of God to live more than they all. Thank you, Jesus. Remember, I said, after this session, quickly go to the group of God to my DM. For those of you who are not in good circle, come to my DM, and let me know what you learned. And then secondly, once you do this activity for yourself, use your age to do it. And tell me personally, come to my DM and tell me what you realized during it. I would love to hear from you. And so, let me say, forever, Father in the name of Jesus, that by your mercy, even as we set out to recover time to number our days, please give us wisdom, give us help, and grant us eyes that see, ears that hear and understand. Please don't let our lives go to waste in the name of Jesus. Amen. All right, thank you very much, family. I will see you tomorrow for our family congress, don't miss it. We are going to dive deeper into the conversation. I will see you tomorrow. [Music] [Music]

Podcast Summary

Key Points:

  1. Life is brief, compared to a single day in God’s eternal perspective; a thousand years for God are like a day for humans.
  2. The acronym “MAN” represents the three phases of life
  3. The morning phase (first ~30 years) is the most energetic and crucial for building spiritual, mental, and career disciplines, which later become automated “systems” for efficiency.
  4. The devil’s strategy is to waste people’s time in youth, distracting them from discipline; wasted time in morning requires double work later to catch up.
  5. Purpose on earth is preparation for eternal work; God will reward based on how well you multiply the resources and purpose He gave you, not on worldly success.
  6. Numbering your days (recognizing life’s brevity) leads to wisdom and applying your heart to God’s will, avoiding regret in old age.

Summary:

The speaker emphasizes the brevity of human life, using Psalm 90 to compare man’s fleeting existence (like grass that withers by evening) to God’s eternity. Life is divided into three phases—Morning, Afternoon, and Night—each with diminishing energy. The morning phase (roughly ages 0–30) is the most critical because God grants maximum energy then to build difficult disciplines: spiritual practices, mental habits, career foundations, and emotional resilience.

These disciplines, once mastered, become automated “systems” that allow efficient productivity in later phases. , clubbing, relationships, frivolous pursuits), so people enter the afternoon phase without those systems, forcing them to work twice as hard with less energy.

FAQs

It means recognizing the brevity of life so that you may cultivate wisdom and use your time wisely.

Life is split into morning, afternoon, and night phases, similar to a day, with each phase having distinct energy levels and purposes.

It is when you have the most energy to build disciplines and systems that will benefit you in later phases.

To waste your time in the morning phase, distracting you from building essential disciplines, so you struggle later.

God gives resources proportional to your purpose, and your reward depends on how you multiply those resources, not on comparison with others.

You need extra discipline and work to catch up in the afternoon phase, or you risk regrets in the night phase.
