The podcast blends personal storytelling with cultural commentary, focusing on the excitement and chaos of recent events. It highlights the growing popularity of the social deduction game "Bar Soul," where players engage in intrigue through secret roles and alternating day/night phases, emphasizing its fun and unpredictable nature. Hosts share a reflective week filled with travel, sleep, and recovery from a serious fall, noting how physical fatigue and emotional stress impacted their routine. The hosts advocate for more creativity, authenticity, and variety in fashion events, calling for a reimagining of formats to better showcase individuality and entertainment value. The discussion also touches on the excitement of the Academy Museum Gala, where star power and fashion shine, and includes personal anecdotes about social life, event planning, and self-care, such as a first-time self-tanning experience. Ultimately, the episode celebrates connection, spontaneity, and the joy of shared experiences, whether in games, fashion, or simply spending time with friends.

Hopefully you had a nice weekend, and we're ready to start off the week. Happy Monday. How are we feeling, ladies and gentlemen? Pretty good, kind of tired. But it was a lovely weekend. A lot of activities last week. Sunday was not an activity day, but all the other days was a lot of activities. The Eagles have actually destroyed Sundays for me. I know for Sundays in a row that had just had been no fun, zero. Just watch them lose. Do you think you might as well just accept the rest of the season, and then you'll enjoy your time? No, for sure, but it's a, I can't. It's a disease. You know, like I thought that, don't even watch. I thought that yesterday was like, do I really need to even watch this game? I watched the whole thing, start to finish. Well, you didn't miss one second. Yeah, you're a true fan, so you're going to watch every game. But like, you might as well just like be like, ah, this season's just for funsies. No, no, no. It's not even for funsies. It's actually the opposite of funsies. It's for. Sadsies. When you ever be one of those people who roots against the team, like, so that you get a high draft pick. No. No, I don't like that. Yeah. It's practical. Because my issue isn't like. My issue with the team isn't like, oh, the number one pick of the draft is going to fix this team. But if they're really bad, then the fire, all the coaches, like they have to. No, no. Yeah. Like, if we win some games, but we finish with like five wins and the coaches get fire, then I'm good with that. Yeah. It's more on that than anything else. And all my guys are hurt. Jaylen Hurts has got a blood clot. Terrible. Very scary. That's really scary. That's very dangerous. And it's like the. Things have been miscommunicated. Is he hurt? Is he not? Is it. Was it going to be put on IR? Was he not? Then he is. It kind of seems like maybe he doesn't trust the team doctors. That's not good. No. If it's any consolation, AJ Brown was horrific. I. You know what? That is actually the one thing they brought a smile to my face. It was. I would have been better. Like, that's not even a joke. I. I think you might have been better. No. I want to say. Hey. At a certain point, I was saying to Joe that I should go out and play running back for the Eagles because that's what. That's the level that I feel like. We have out there. But yeah, I will say the Eagles family group chat was pretty depressing, besides when AJ Brown dropped a ball and we just made sure to include that in that. We made sure to include that in our. But you don't. You don't root badly for other teams. Well, I don't. Just players. No, that's an individual player. Just players. That's an individual player. The Patriots. The Patriots can win. I don't care about that. But for him, as a player, that was enjoyable. That's almost. That's almost worse. Is he not a likable guy? What's his deal? He just. He left the Eagles and. Oh! Oh, okay. I didn't know that. Go okay. That makes my sense. Yeah. It was like. All Mr. High on his horse that he was going to the Patriots. He came back from injury this weekend, literally dropped every pass thrown to him. Like. Like easy. There's like two hands. Oh, man. I wish I saw that. Yeah. His is. He's one. Always open. And then did you see that they, for some reason, put him on the hands team when they did an on-side kick? I saw that. But right to him and he dropped that too. Drop that one too. I think at a certain point, you probably get the yips, you know, like, on to a couple. You're just like, "All of a sudden, you're like, 'What are my hands? Why are they failing me?'" That reminds me of that, that groan story when he, when Brady talks about throwing into groan and one time he dropped it and he just looked at his hands, like, "Yeah, you betrayed me." You have failed me. Why would you do something like that to me? So. And it sucks because it was actually a beautiful day on Sunday and I just sat and then you, then I'm like, "Then it just puts me to bad mood," and it's just a, it's a, it's a toxic cycle that will be hard to break because now we have three divisional games in a row. I think it's Cowboys, Cowboys Giants Commanders or Cowboys, Cowboys Commanders Giants. Not good. But that's a good division to be in. Right now yet is because every team's bad. Yeah. Yeah. All across the board losses. So, but other, besides that, we had so much fun this weekend, where a lot of, we went out Friday night, we went out to dinner, went to a little party. Yeah. We were living in New York, New York City life. I said, "I'll go wherever you want me to go, honey," and then I, and then I came home and I saw Noah. Yeah, I saw both of you Friday night. It was a dream. I hung out a little bit, I said, "All right. You guys stay as long as you want. I'm going to bed." And I guess they don't let me keep you up. I think they stay, you stay till like 2.30, or something. Yeah, it was really late. I think at home till like 3 a.m., right? Yeah. Oh. Yeah. It wasn't really late, and we were all playing. It's not like you live far with that. No. You go out and you get home. No, no, no. Yeah. It was fun. Played some pool. Yeah. But yeah, we went to a little Sunday, which was great. Yeah, we were out on the town. I'd company every night this week. Yeah. Well, you're getting used to -- I love it. I love having a new spot and hosting -- I love having company. Yeah. Yeah. And a lot of sleep. I've been just sleeping so much for the past week. And you know what? I feel like everyone's on the same vibe. I haven't seen so many videos of other people being like, is anyone else just really -- No, I don't know what's been going on. I've been napping like, I've never napped before in my life. I don't normally napped. It's just not a napper. But all of last week, I was coming home after being in the office and like having a late afternoon nap. Yeah. It feels good. But not all the time. No, not all the time. Why am I so sleepy? Why am I so sleepy? Sometimes when you wake up, it's very disoriental. It really is. But now I now finally feel somewhat back to normal. Back to normal. That's great. And listen, I'm not trying to talk about the fall any further. But I was not myself last week after this, after this horse fall. Like my body was so swollen in, like, I went to see someone. They said the inflammation was crazy swollen. So I think that's how to do with my sleeping a lot. Yeah. We had been traveling. Just even just, like, we were doing like one-day trips. Yeah. Which is that. Because we weren't on the body. We went from Vegas to Montana. Yeah. And last time we did like one-day LA. Yes. Like, we went a couple of weeks where we were on long flights often. Yes. But truly, I was so sore. I was waking up every morning, like, genuinely, like, my neck and my whole body was so sore from this damn fall. Yeah. That I last week, I was like, oh my God, I can't live like this. Like, I missed waking up being like, I'm here. I'm alive. Like, every day when I was waking up last week, I was like, oh my God. Why? Don't feel great. Yeah. But finally, this weekend, I'm feeling back to normal, like, normal schedule, great fall lock-in is on. Yeah. Basically, just sleep-eat workout, sleep-eat workout, hang out with friends. That's better. Gym tan laundry. Gym tan laundry. Gym tan laundry. Gym tan laundry. No, literally. I self-tanned for the first time last night, actually. So, yes. I'm shocked that it was the first time. Gym tan laundry. Gym tan laundry. It couldn't be a more accurate. Yeah. Well, I've gotten obviously spray tans before. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I've never self-tanned, like, bought the self-tanned moose and have like, tanned my bod. And I've been seeing so many videos about this company. It's going to sound like it had. It's not loving tan. Yeah. And I was like, you know what? Maybe I want to give that a shot for the fall. I'll give that a shot for the fall. Yeah. Like, a lot of people were using something. Well, maybe I want to give the shot for the fall and winter, you know? Because every fall and winter, I'm always like, oh, I'm so pale. But people use self-tans. I'm like, wow, give it a shot. And, you know what? I liked it. I liked it a lot. I had a good time. It wasn't sticky. No. It wasn't as gross as I envisioned it to be. It's really not that bad as to see if you got the one that you can just like shower after an hour. No. Literally, well, I slept in it. It's a two hour thing. You could shower after two hours. But I was like, oh, I was sleeping this because I don't think it smelled. And it wasn't sticky. And it didn't transfer on to anything. I was like, this is awesome. Nice. This sounds like an ad. It's not. It's not a laundry. And it is a little tricky on the back. I had to have Matt do my back. And I'm like, oh, my God. I'm like, come on, circular motions. We really don't talk like one that is very hard. And the ladies, I don't who don't have someone to do it for them. They're using spatulas. I see. Because I was looking at videos how to do this. Yeah. And they were like, if someone's not around to your back, you put them in. I'm like a spatula. And they try to do it. Yeah. maybe you have one of those like back brushes like in the shower, make it even, make it nice. - But sometimes it's even worse when your guys doing it because I've had Joe do it and like he literally, he's gone like this, he puts them in like, and then he like thinks it's gross. And he's like, he's like, I'm like, rub it in. (laughing) - It's not gonna get on you relax. - Make it even, make, well Matt was watching me do it and cause I was like, right, watch me do my front so you'll know how to do my back. And as soon as I put it on, he goes, does it hurt? - So why the fuck with this heart? - Like sometimes boys just have the dumbest questions. - Imagine we do, it was like anytime we sell to end, it was like we were basically setting our bodies on fire. - Or does it hurt? - Like it's just, yo, yeah, stings all over. - Ow! - No. So yeah, but I've been loving having people over and the whole thing, so I got more friends coming to stay with me on Thursday night. - Oh my God. - And while we're home, cause I'm feeling like a three week time period where we're not traveling and then we're traveling every single week of November and to December, cause the tour reminder tickets are on sale. We cannot wait to hang out with you, cozy, comfy pajamas, wherever you want tour. - Joe's waiting for his invite to play pool. - Joe, I invited, we went to dinner last week. I told Joe, I literally invited him Friday. I invited you guys that night. So you guys were busy. - Well, we know we weren't good. Well, saturday night he was like, what are Matt? What are Matt and Ray are doing? - Oh, and I was like, she's got friends over. - I thought you had a birthday party. - But it was over at seven o'clock. - It was an afternoon thing. - Oh my God, I totally would've got you. I thought you had a birthday party. No! - No, it was during the day, but I knew you had other, you know, I didn't want to impose. - You got plans Friday? - Do I have plans on, what day's Friday? - 23rd. - 3rd, no plans. - All right, you coming over and we're decorating pumpkins. - Yeah. - Wow. - You want to do that? - Do you want to do that? - Yeah, I want to decorate a parking. - Or are we painting? - Or both? - We can do both. - Or both. - I had already planned to set up a pumpkin. Like, I actually think that's music, Joe's ears, 'cause he was saying we need some pumpkins. - Oh my God, okay. - Oh my God. - Well, 'cause really, and so you don't take him to me, he was like, you know, really like to get some games. - Oh okay, first of all, we can play all night long and we can carve pumpkins and paint them. - Yeah, that's a dream, 'cause that's really my dream because that gives me an activity to do while you guys play pool. - Yeah, or they can play pool and we can paint and carve. - Oh my God, I'm so excited. - Okay, what a dream. I was already getting the supplies. - Amazing. - Trying to think, I gotta start writing things down. - Fuck, if you cancel them now. - No, no, no, no, I don't have anything. I don't have anything. Well, you know me, I am so bad. I said yes to an event on Thursday. I just can't go. Like, it's my brother's having a thing and I was just like, I can fully forgot. - And I didn't get invited again. - No, no, no, no, no. You're invited, don't worry. - I can't do this. - He posted, like, he posted on his story, like, anybody. - Okay, okay. - Not anybody, but he was like all. - Yeah, don't worry, anybody's invited. - He posted on his story, like all the people I love, like, please come, you know? And you know what, we have a group chat too. I would think that I'd be invited, but I actually, people come in his day with me. - Yes, and yeah, I'm sorry, I'm booked. - But like, and I asked Gia to come to the, to the other thing, and she was like, yeah. And both of us said, and we were like, oh fuck. - Wait, you did this last week. We had plans on Friday. And then Fran said, in another chat with our agents, we got invited to something. - Yeah. - And Fran was like, yeah, I'm in, and I text her on the side. I said, no, you're not. I said, we got plans, honey. - Will you say you're in plan? - I just, I said, if you wanna cancel me, go ahead, but we got plans. - I gotta really be better at putting social events into my calendar, like the work stuff I have, and I can keep track of that no problem. But the social stuff, weeks in advance, I say yes to things, and then I don't write it down, and then I totally forget. And I don't have it in, which reminds me, I have to text, I have to cancel for this thing on Thursday. - All right, well, your book Thursday, but Friday, we're carving and painting. - Yeah, Friday, it sounds amazing. - Pumpkins and playing games. - And watch focus, of course. We could put on Halloween movies in the background. And just, you see, look at my cutie, the sweater. I'm so fall. - So Halloween. So, well, our neighbors, they were like, they put pumpkins and decorations on the stoop. And we saw them coming out of the building, and they were like, what do you think about the stoop? And I said, oh, my God, it looks so good. You guys did that. And they were like, yeah, who else do you think did it? - I don't know, I don't know. I don't think like the best. - Yeah, I have no idea. And then they were like, get you should add some stuff. So then that's why I was like, oh, well, we should decorate some pumpkins to put out there. - Yeah. - You don't have to leave your pumpkin, obviously. - No, no, well, we could do multiple also. - You're so cool. - Right, oh, I'm gonna get small. - We could do big ones to meet fat pumpkins. - Yeah, small pumpkins, big pumpkins, medium pumpkins. - We could get big pumpkins and carve those, and then little cute ones that we can paint, and then we can make a pumpkin family. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - Okay, this is gonna be wonderful. Noah, how was the rest of your weekend? - It was good. I was like exhausted on Sunday. I was like three days in a row of drinking, like which I didn't really plan on, but at three nights, like pretty late. - But it was fun, I mean, no. - Yeah. - I'm at your place on Friday, went out on Saturday, and yeah, it was a good time. - It was a good one. - Nice, yeah, you saw on Friday before you were over, you saw that you can see everything, which we'll talk about weekly walk-to-port. I have to see that this week. - Can we, let's go on Wednesday? - It's, by the way, like, it was-- - Yeah. (laughing) - When I checked on Friday, like I ended up going to the Times Square theater because Lincoln Square, which isn't shocking Lincoln Square, it's like always sold out for big movies, but since-- - Because this movie's not even in all the theaters. Like it's not even playing in the AMC near May, I was a stud. - It's not in all the theaters, but it wasn't like a good amount, but Times Square still stuff open now, after like a few days, and everyone's like raving about it, every theater is just sold out for like every time. - Yeah, we, okay, we gotta go turn out to go. - Yeah, we're gonna have to go. - I'll look later and, you know, - I don't know if it's sour. - I have to see this. - No, and here's the thing. - Same. - I didn't know I wanted to see this. - Same. - Until-- - Did you ever want this stuff? - To be quite honest, doesn't, like, Nathan Fielder, I'm not like a big, I've watched episodes with my husband, and I've thought, not for me. - No, trust me, you don't have to be a Nathan Fielder. - No, I know, that's what everyone's saying. - When I heard that-- - When I heard that my in-laws loved it, I was like, "Our act gotta see this." - No, I haven't heard that. - Because, yeah, their movie takes so much time. - I know, I feel like things are starting to be spoiled for me, and it sucks, 'cause then it's like, I feel like there's a level of surprise that people are talking about when they see it, and now I feel like I'm losing some of that. - Yeah, we got it. - We'll talk about that. - I haven't been on a theater where the crowd is unanimously just erupting and laughter, and-- - All right, well, we gotta see. I mean, guys, not to get you all too excited, but we're in for an all-time, gorgeous fall week. I don't know if you can see this, everyone, but that's sunshine for about at least a week's strain. Nothing but sun, baby. - Yeah, I love that. - And beautiful fall temperatures. - It's too hot. - It's too hot. - It's too hot. - No, you're nuts. - It shouldn't be in the high 60s. It was 80 degrees last week. - High 60s is gorgeous. - No, not for the end of October. - Oh my God, that's an ideal temp. Well, then next weekend, we'll be great for you. It's a high of 57. That's a perfect curve. - Perfect for you. - I have 50s. The other night, I went open and checked the weather. It was 36 degrees outside at night. - Yeah, that's cool. - But yeah, it feels nice. - I had to put a hat on Saturday morning, taking all of out for a walk. Yeah, it was cold in the morning. It was cold in the morning. And when there's a breeze, I have very sensitive ears. - Yeah, you do. - And when the breeze starts to come through, and then I can't, I had to put my hat on to go home, I was like, I'm putting my hat on. - Yeah. - Because then, like, I was walking like this with one hand on my ear. - Oh, I don't know. - Because it hurts. I didn't wear a jacket this morning. So I'm kind of with you. It does feel hotter than-- - They're like, I checked the weather, they're being like, oh, the hoodie will work now, but I'm gonna be sweating on my walk home. - Yeah, I couldn't even, I was dripping off my back when I walked in here. - Well, the subway is a whole different ballgame. The temperature, you could go from hot to cold to warm. - I'm such a commuter now. - Yeah, I love it. - I literally love hopping on the subway, walking everywhere. - Did you get on the subway? I'm so happy for you. - Haven't taken an Uber, and I don't know how long and I love it. - That's just, that's great. I love it. - Yeah. - Because, you know me. - And your wallet, thanks you. - My wallet is very happy with me. And my body is happy with me because I'm getting-- - It's good movement. - So much more movement than that, my, like, you know me. I don't have, like, an aura ring or anything like that because I'm too much of a hypochondriac to have any of those. - No, for sure. If it told you, like, something's wrong, it would send you to a spiral. - Exactly. It's called Health OCD, everyone's familiar. - So, I don't have any of that. But, my phone, you know, sometimes it updates you. I've been, I've been getting updates, like, crazy, like, oh my God, your step count is every day. It's higher than the last. Every day, the amount of stairs I've climbed are higher than the last. And honestly, it's pushing me, but I'm so motivated now. It's a great fall-ok and they're calling it. Everybody watch out. But, no, I am just, like, feeling like-- - Yeah, you're just moving around hard. - I love the movement, and it makes me not want to sit in the back of an Uber or in traffic anymore. Found like, oh my God, it's so easy to just, like, get there. Although, there was a devastating thing that happened this weekend on the subway. - Yeah, that was directly next to where I live. - Yeah, no. I know. I know. It was right. It was right next to where I live. Yeah. So that was. That's. No. That was off. Terrified that that Saturday afternoon. Yeah. And for those that are like, what are you? I was talking about it because I feel like sometimes New York City news can be very local to New York City, but a guy was shot on the subway platform. And we don't there's not really. I didn't really see any more details besides the guy is on the loose, which is no good. No, but it sounded like maybe they were in some sort sort of argument. Some sort of dispute. And this, I think he was 34. Yeah, it's a guy. It was at like 1230 on a Saturday. It was middle of the test. Yeah, really terrible stuff. Really? Like right in the afternoon, which is, which is very scary. And like anywhere traveling wherever you are, you are just, you got to be aware of your surroundings at all times. Yeah. You know, and that's not something you can predict or know. It's a crazy, crazy story, but just, you know, yeah. So so terrible. Yeah. The be smart. Yeah. Sorry. I went, you know, no, I know you were actually, well, yeah, you know, it went from like, this is so nice. It's a way to, but yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No, no, it's, it's, anyways, something to be aware of. Yes. Moving on, we got to get into some topics. The Victoria Seeker fashion show was Sunday night dancing with stars drama drama drama drama. A lot on all ends. It's really all over the place. Harry Styles, um, documentary for MSG and also the song that he wrote for Liam just, you know, yeah, really something else. And, and there was the big gala for the Academy Museum, which I think is really like, look out, look out, met, it's the new met gala. Look out, met, met, met, the, the met better. Head on a swivel for the met because this is more stars than it really does seem like it, it, it, it did and the outfits were fantastic. Yeah. Better than any red carpet in recent memory. Fashion's biggest night. It really might be, and no one knows when it's happening. It just happens. Exactly. Like it's like no one has no clue when it's happening. It's just like, Oh, we'll see Academy Museum gala. Yeah. But I really like, seriously, the met better. Look out. Mm-hmm. All right. Let's get into it. Truly is all about bringing friends together. I think so. I think it's been I'm one year was on Amazon Prime. Yes. It was on CBS. Well, what when I was young, it was on television. It was on prime time and it was a big thing. Yeah, it was advertised all over the place. But as you know, times have changed and it went away for a while and it's back and it's in a more of a digital version, I suppose to keep up with the kids. But I really didn't know. I actually didn't really know this was happening until we were in Montana and a bunch of the girls were like, we're going. And I was like, oh, that's next week. Like, that was the only really one of the bigger reasons why I knew when it was when it was happening. But yeah. And it's Sunday nights. Sometimes I feel like they pick like it would be on like a random Tuesday. Yeah, it was a Sunday night. You're right. I do remember it being on a Tuesday. Like we're just being like on a brand-new weeknight or the year before. Yeah. Yeah. But it was a Sunday night prime time. Well, I couldn't find it. And then I was like, oh, I couldn't either. It was actually done. And then I typed it on YouTube and it wasn't coming up. No, I struggled to find it on YouTube. Yeah. I thought I found it, but I realized I just watched an ad for it. I had the same day. It was on the homepage. Yeah. Why? And I was like, oh, amazing. It's right here. And then I pressed it. And it was just an ad. And then after 30 seconds, it was over. And I'm like, why would the ad not take you directly to the Victoria Secret YouTube page? I had the same YouTube. I had the same exact experience. Yeah. And I said, why is this so hard to find? Like, I'm watching the ad and then I'm typing in the search. And then I ended up watching it on Victoria Secret Pink YouTube, because I couldn't find it on the main, whatever. Yeah, yeah. Anyways, nonetheless, nonetheless. You know, here's the thing. It's never going to be the same. But there were aspects that were amazing. Yeah. And there were aspects that were dog shit that were just so bad. There's certain elements that need to be overhauled, I think. Like the whole, like, the pink section needs to be overhauled. That's the pink segment was so bad. Yeah. I could not get over the outfits. They were a true. It's always been pretty bad. But not, but not to this level. Like, this was just another level of terrible. Yeah. The pink outfits. Some of them are really bad. Kat's eye was a whole damn mess in my opinion. Yeah. You know, like the whole performance, pink, pinky up is such a bad soul. I mean, it's the worst song really ever written. Um, and. But my god, as it gets stuck in your head, like, pinky, and I get why they pink because they had better songs. They could have done other songs. The issue I have and it has really nothing to do with Kat's eye. It's just a logistical issue because they're already trying to fit a lot of women on this carpet at one time. Carpet runway on this runway at one time. And then when you throw in a girl group, four girls would like full choreo and everything, it, it just felt a little chaotic, trying to get the girls down the runway and Kat's eyes doing their mo, like, and in between and all that, just so like a lot. It feels like something where you have an individual person, the models can move around them. But when you have the whole show element, even like some of tape accrae's dancers, it's like, it was a, it felt like the runway was getting congested. Yeah, I agree. And I mean, even if there was a solo act like Meg Moroni, models were dipping out of the way it was. Like that one video where the girl's like, her, her neck's about to stop trying to get out of her way. You know her on a on a nickname level. Is it not Meg Moroni? It's Meg and Moroni, but people don't call her Meg. You know, we're like that. Oh, maybe because I'm thinking of Meg the stallion. I'm sure people call her Meg. What's her Instagram handle? Is it Megan Moroni or is it Meg Moroni? Good question. I think Megan. Her Instagram is Megan. Yeah. Her Instagram handle is Meg Moroni. Oh, yeah. There we go. Oh, that's probably why. Maybe I'm just being too formal. Yeah. I'm calling her by her full name. Maybe she just couldn't get Megan. Megan. Yeah, maybe she said it for Meg. Maybe she couldn't. But yeah, the Megs were out last night. But yeah, yeah, you're right. You're like, you're seeing them go like that. She don't one girl almost fucking broke her neck trying to dodge that wing. Yeah, so you know, it was a little all over the place with that. I will say the best walk of the night was Tate McRae. I actually couldn't agree more. I mean, her walk was so good. It was so good. And then when like the the wings go up at the end, yeah, that was sick. She's just she has all the movements. Yeah, I will say it shocks me every time when I when I find out I know that I talked about her height and finding out she was five eight, I'm still shocked by it. Like Tim McRae. Yeah, she's a she's a tall woman. Yeah, she is. And I just didn't think that. You know, it's always crazy when you find out people's heights. People do the same thing with us. I posted our heights the other day on Instagram. Yeah. So many messages about it. I thought you were this. I thought friend was that I thought that that that that that that that and then also people were making I did laugh that you gave yourself the half inch. Well, of course, because I am five three and a half. I'm not just five three. I'm closer to five four. Yeah. Then five three. Uh-huh. In my personal opinion, what was the last time you measured your leg last year because I'm always trying to gain an inch. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And it never happens. Yeah. And it pisses me off. Yeah. Tate and then and then those wings were spectacular. She really that I think that's why she blended in so well too. She's just so hot. She is crazy. And that walk when she was walking because she's got rhythm. Yeah, because she's a dancer. Right. She's got to walk with up the walk. with a purpose and you're walking on the motherfucking beats. Yes, like what the song is like, you're strutting which sports car was a great song for her to walk to. Yeah, my other issue with the Victoria Secret Fashion Show, and I had this in the past years, and also like recent, when they brought it back. Also the same thing with sports illustrated runway. What is with the fucking songs that they pick that, does that make you feel hot walking down the run? No, right. Because it doesn't make me feel hot. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, whatever happened, like Justin Timberlake sexy back when they're walking down, like, chills, when you go back and watch Justin Timberlake do sexy back, which is ill walking down the run. Yeah, there's nothing like it. There's nothing like that feeling. Now we got pinky up from cat side. That's not, that's not getting the people going. Yeah, no, it's not. I'm like, I almost shut it off and I'm glad I didn't. Yeah, yeah. To our wonderful surprise, Kylie Jenner. And it was actually a breathtaking reveal, full body chills. I really, we were texting in our group chat that we have with Gian Kelly as well. And it was an instance where like, we, I felt the girlhood transcend throughout everybody watching, where I think everyone had a different levels, because I saw videos of the girl screaming and like, I didn't scream, but I boy, did I pull out my phone and me and go, because, and the way that the camera, like, it was just perfectly done, where it was sort of like a mist and the lighting was perfection, where when the lighting just like blew up her face, who were like, I have chills talking about it. Sayy, look at my good face. It was like, oh, Kylie, and you went, oh my god, I'm so with her. I have full body chills. I can't remember the last time I was genuinely surprised like this. I know. No, I had no idea because I saw a video posted of like Timothy Sherman, Christian, or I didn't see that. Congratulations to you. I didn't see that. I didn't see that. I didn't see that. Same. I'm glad I wasn't on the inside of like seeing people speculating about what was going to happen during the show because I guess afterwards people were speculating because people were like, oh, Stasi and like so many of our other friends had been around all day and like taking pictures with other people and trying to figure out like what the connection was. And I want to say, maybe Gia sent a tweet about Chris and Timothy being there 30 seconds, maybe even less than that before Kylie appeared on our screens. So it was like, I couldn't even, I didn't even see that text before I saw Kylie's face on the TV. Yeah, I didn't see it until after when I was like, oh, okay, I'm so glad I didn't see that because if I saw that, then I would have been like, oh, no, obviously, Kylie's coming out. Why would Timothy Childe may just be there? Yeah. If you saw Chris, you would be like, oh, Kendall's coming out. Now, genuinely, Kylie Jenner just does it for me in such a big way. She really does. I am such a Kylie Jenner fan. And I'm just, listen, sue me or not. I don't know. You don't have to sue me. I don't know why you would. But I don't think you have to justify yourself. I don't, but people there are big Kylie Jenner haters out there or just Kardashians in general. Kylie, for me, specifically in that whole family, is like top, top. Like I, I just her personality. I think she's so funny. I think she's gorgeous. This is an age. I think she's, yes. And we have similar birthdays and relios. And she is just, I think so. Yeah. Just so hot. And like, she is. And lately, she's just been radiating. Like, just beautiful energy. Yes. She's in that fantasy brought to that 50 million. I can't wrap my head around that being worth $50 million. It's entirely made of diamonds. It's all the diamonds. She was talking people like it was no big deal. I would have been like, don't touch me. Yeah. And the way that her friends talk about her, I don't know if you saw that recently, there was an interview where they interviewed a bunch of her friends. I didn't see this. Well, she had posted it on her story. And she was like, I had no idea they interviewed my friends. And it was like all of her friends speaking about her. And that is just so night. The things that people were saying about her. I'm like, that is so lovely to hear that she said, you know, I know it's her friends, but I really, I really felt the words. Okay. Yeah. And just full, full surprise. And Timothy, he looked great too. People are talking about. He's hot again. I didn't see his full look. I just saw him sitting. Well, he just he looked put together. Oh, oh, you know, his hair was dry. Yeah. Yeah. It was nicely tussled. Yeah. And Chris and Corey, you know, they were there. And yeah. And I was wondering why saucy was hanging around backstage. But I kind of was just like, oh, was saucy walking. And that's what that too. That would have been underwhelming to me. But I would have been like, okay, you know, what it totally made sense. It would make sense. Like she's a bombshell. Yeah. And I said, okay, saucy's there. But now there's all this conversation about Kendall. And oh, my God, Kendall must be so mad. Why would Kendall be mad? Like, come on, why are people trying to start drama? And by the way, like, if Kendall wanted to be in this show, she would be like, yes, yes. But 100%. I think Kendall, if she wants to be in this show, 100%. 100%. Did you see all the like, Romi, who didn't get chosen? I didn't see that. Oh my God. So Romi, you know, I know who she is. Yeah. So she posted a whole video last week, like, basically being like, because people are like, are you going to be in there? Are you going to be in there? And she was like, I was told I was on like the maybe list. And then follow what video she made very shortly after being like, all right, just go off the phone. My agent's like, it's a no. It's not at all. And everyone was like, well, I'm sure I was like, why the fuck would you not be in it? Yeah. And yeah, it was a no. And she was, and she had been training for like six weeks now. Wow. I'm blown away by that. Maybe maybe they had this whole plan for Kylie. And then it was just like no, Kendall. Well, so I, I think, well, what does that have to do with Romi? No, I'm just saying, because in my mind, I was like, any, in my mind, any angel could come back. Like, I'm thinking that they're like, yeah, the door's open. Well, you know what I'm saying? Like Bella and Gigi. And I feel like when you're like, listen, like, can they just have that in the card? Yeah. I feel like if Kendall really wanted, maybe she was like, this should be Kylie. Yes. We're not, I'm not going to do this. And then have this whole big plan for Kylie. Let it be Kylie's moment. Be right. But the Romi thing shocked me. And there were a couple others very surprised by that. Oh, you know, Elsa, always think I'm going to see it haven't seen. And I feel like Taylor Hill, Taylor Hill. Yeah. I'm surprised by that too. I thought she'd be in this one. I don't know what like, do you think that's a whole like, well, now they're putting like these influencers in. But there's also just a mix of a lot of, and I don't know if it's just because we're so many so many new models that I did not know. And there was so many real models. Like I, I, they're really worn that many influencers. I know people keep telling why the influencers, yes, they've anything they put them like in the pink thing. Yeah. And there were influencers attending the show. But I didn't think that there were that many in the show. Like when it came to the real deal, Victoria Secret aspect, felt like it was pretty much all models. But so it's a few and like Kylie Jenner. And they were asked about why Kylie Jenner for that. And because, and they said it was because like she transcends like she's not just one thing. Yeah. This has now become about entertainment. And she is big in like pop culture and entertainment. Yeah. So I get that. And um, but for the influencer aspect, I feel like I only saw like Gwen and Gabby Mora in the pink section. I mean, I'm sure there were a couple of other influencers. I didn't recognize. But not to a degree where I was like, this is all influencers. I was like, oh, look at the super models show it out. If anything, there was throughout the whole show, a lot of new, I felt like super models that I was being introduced to that I haven't seen. And it was beside like it all flowed pretty well. My only thing is that I know some of the models were talking about this because they were excited because they made the wings less heavy. Um, which is so fair. But I was a little underwhelmed by the wings because we've had some crazy fucking wings in years past. And even like the new model, uh, Solange who won the competition to be the next Victoria C. Grangel, they had a big reveal for her. And she's anybody, baby, baby wings. I'm like, okay, fine. You know, first, first one, she's just, she's a newbie. She's a baby angel. We give her baby angel wings. Right. But it needed a little bit more. Come on. Give me a, give me a pop. It was a big reveal. The table because I need the, like, there's the only wings that I went, uh, was Elsa. Yeah, Elsa had gorgeous wings. Those were the only ones that I was like, oh my god. All the other wings are like, come on. Give me a little something. Give me more. And I feel like the new model should have maybe been in those wings. Yeah. Now I hated the tinsel wings. Hated the tinsel wings. They were driving me. Well, that were just in tinsel with no wings. Oh, I hated it. I hated it so much. Too much tinsel. Yeah. And now enough glitter on the runway. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I saw people saying that as well. I just, and, you know, like I said, I'm sure it is great for the models because those wings look heavy as hell. But I was hoping for some show stoppers. When it comes to the wings, like that really take up the whole runway. Um, and I, and I really hate you on a Lima's last walk, right? Like to close out the show. Now I know what in my - My opinion extremely underwhelming. - Yeah, well, I'm telling you, it's the wings. - Yeah. - She needed bigger wings. - Power wings. - Yeah, yeah. Definitely. Barbara Palvin walked, she's six weeks postpartum, which is unbelievable. - Just incredible. - Just incredible. And, you know, she's a super model. - She looks so good. - So there's just, that is just her jeans. - She is, she is made that way. - That's her physique. - That is just how she is, stunning, gorgeous. I think her cell was maybe supposed to be in the show. And then I saw, like, she was in scene in video clips and it was a little bit of a tease 'cause it also ended. She was like, "You'll be seeing more of me soon." And then I saw pictures of her in a walking boot. So I don't know if maybe she got hurt at some point. - Too much grottie with her. - Yeah, you're right. - With a guy. - Yeah, it looked like something happened that maybe she wasn't able to because I feel like she looked like she was ready to walk in the show. - I have never seen smoother skin on somebody in crutches and a boot. Like, in a paparazzi picture taken off guard, I genuinely was blown away by how, no, she's like, her skin looked so hot and incredible. - It looked airbrushed, photoshopped in a paparazzi picture. - And it's just a reminder. - Oh my God, of like, what was Tom Brady doing, you know? - Yeah. - He was one of the Super Bowls. - Yeah. - Yeah, but then he wasn't. And he lost the most beautiful woman on Planet Earth. - She has like the most Vogue covers ever. I think 159 covers. - It's really, oh my, it's just, it's really incredible. Michael Stallion, I also thought was amazing. - So good. - For me, that those songs, perfect. - Perfect. - Perfect. Give me a little body adiati going down the wrong way. - You feel hot. - Yeah. And she had a great walk as well. She looked amazing. - Well, here's the thing, because they know how to dance. They know how to walk her. - Yeah, exactly, they know how to take Meg. - Yeah, Meg. - Are close, are close friends. - They know, like, they have the rhythm. And they're stomping to the beat. Whereas, I'm watching some of these models. I'm like, give me a little pizzazz. - The Victoria Seagrass show is setting on the couch, like, I know. But this is the show where you are looking for the pizzazz. - Yeah. - You're looking for personality. It's not just, because like they say, now it's an entertainment thing. It's not just, give me your best serious catwalk. It's like, we want to see the smiles, the waves, the fun, throw a little personality into it. - I want to feel like you are flirting with me through the screen. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Like, and some did. - Yeah. - Some were amazing. So, some were bad. Like, some I genuinely was like, this is just not good. And a lot of that took place during the pink section. The pink section has to be overhauled and re-done. I saw a girl boss down post on her story, like, at Victoria Seagrass, I'm begging you to let me create a direct, the pink section next year. To please, somebody, somebody takes a hold of this. 'Cause it is, and I saw people being like, if they told me to like, hold a phone on the runway and pretend to take a selfie, I would say no. Like, this is your one moment. Also, if, like, there was a couple of outfits where if I get cast in the Victoria Seagrass and Joe, and then I get told, you're gonna be sexy snowballs on piss. - Yeah, for sure. - Give me a bra on panty and let me shine. - Yeah. - Oh, you wanna cover me in three snowballs? What did I train so hard for to be covered in snowballs? - No, I know. And it's funny because I've had that thought. But of course, it's like, you wouldn't, your train of thought makes more sense because it's like, you wouldn't have your outfit months in advance while you're training. Like, you wouldn't know what you're wearing. - No. - Like, that would be a closer thing because when I saw the model that came out, I literally think she came out like second. And she was just a giant flower. And I thought, in my head, I thought, well, that's how I would be getting into the Victoria Seagrass and Joe, but it's like, you wouldn't know. You wouldn't know that you'd be cast as a flower. And you'd have to way you'd be training for weeks and then all of a sudden, they're like, hey, you're a flower. - If I was cast as flower, I'd be bulking up. Like, I would just be like, fuck this. Like, no one's gonna see me anyway. - No, who cares? - Yeah. - If I'm putting my blood, sweat and tears into training for the Victoria Seagrass and Joe, and I get hit with a fuck ass flower like that, I'm pissed. - I know, I know. - That would be so mad. Like, I'm talking as if there's a realistic shot that there would be like, we would be walking. I'm like, I have a pick of the litter here. - Right. - Don't give me the flower. - Don't or the snowballs. - Braun underwear, if anything. - If anything, not that. - Sexy little corset. - Yeah. - I mean, can you bring up the flower? I don't even know if you'll be able to find it. - I don't know if you'll be able to find it. - But a star-studded audience, the cold kid one was there. Of course, we have the plus ones, Patrick Schwarzenegger, his wife, Wax, Lisa Rena was there. Lisa Rena is there. - It was, okay, so it was a knock in the flower who is one of the most stunning human beings on planet Earth. - Yeah, yeah, right, right, right. I don't think I even realized it was, see, that's why the flower is a disservice 'cause I don't think I even realized it was her. - Exactly, and if I'm her, I'm pissed. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, she is so strikingly gorgeous. - And it's just like, okay, you're gonna cover me in this damn flower? - Yeah, right, right, right, right. - Right, you're in a giant flower. Yeah, gosh. - Well, well, the entertainment was there. - The entertainment was there. The star power was there. There was a lot of fun stuff in the audience. Like you said, we got Tim D'Shell on my front row with the Victoria Seeker fashion show. Only thing that would have made it better was Jacob already right there with her. If they were just one, well, that can lead us into, that can lead us into the Academy Music Gala where we got nice cute little picks of Kendall and Jacob. I mean, they're gonna get married. They're K-I-S-S-I-N-G-S-N in a trade. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - They're getting married. Timothy and Kylie are getting married. Like, I know, I hate that I just jump straight to marriage for all of them. Like, that's so annoying of me. Like, to be like, are they getting married? - Maybe. - But like, I don't know. I love love and I love these two together, I do. There were so many stunning looks. - Yeah. - Taylor Swift was a standout of the night. She also performed. She was in a stunning silver gown. - Yeah, dear. - Into your clean makeup. Like, no red lip. Very gorgeous. - Glowy. - Maybe my favorite look she's ever done. I thought this was drop dead gorgeous. I know people were saying this might be the closest we ever see to a wedding photo because she's also in duar. And it might be someone said, what if this was her dress, but it was in white and now she wore it in silver. - Wow. - And you know what, you know what? I'll go ahead and just think like that. - Yeah, that would be gorgeous too. I mean, this really was, like you said, executed on all levels. Hair makeup, gorgeous. I thought the earrings were perfect. Really a phenomenal look. And she made it to Kansas City on Sunday to go cheer on Travis, cheer on her guy. She's really doing it all. Sabrina Carpenter loved. - I loved this look on Sabrina. - Really pretty. I know that she loves the no mascara thing. Just a little mascara. - I don't hate the no mascara thing. - I don't hate it, but you know on a carpet. And you know what I also love is like, she is so tiny, but when she dresses, you would never, like she does such a good, she dresses for her size. Like she looks so tall in these photos. And we know that she is not. - Yeah. - That's cool. - But that dress is gorgeous. She really doesn't ever miss in my opinion. Like there are carpet looks are always so good. The tassels on the back of this dress. - Gorgeous, stunning. I wanna talk about the two off-campus guys for a second. - Yeah. - Belmont and Stephen Kaelin. - Oh, God, I just can't with these two. It makes me sick to my stomach. So my friend who was over on Thursday night had never watched off-campus. So two of us had and then my friend hope had never watched. And we were like, - Buckle up. - Well, we're putting it on. - This is like when cousin Franny Dan was sitting there and I said, "This is now my second time introducing "to the show's ever watch." Said, "Well, we must must." And we didn't talk the whole night all we did was watch off-campus. And that was the ideal night. - Yeah. - And that was now my 11th time watching. I don't know. Belmont's got this little stash going on. I don't know. Usually I wouldn't be a fan of that sort of thing with this stash. - Yeah. - These guys could do no wrong. Now listen, do I think Stephen looks like, do I prefer him as a blonde? And I'm not even a blonde person. Like I prefer dark hair on a guy. Yeah, I like Stephen as Dean. - Yeah. - He is very dark. - Oh, he's got, he has very, no, no. Very dark hair right now for the housemate. This doesn't even do with justice of how dark it really is. - Right, right, right. - Have you seen the pictures of him filming with Cindy Smeanie? - Oh. - Yeah. Oh, it's way darker than I've realized. - It's really dark. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Interesting. - So I'm missing Dean a bit. - But you know what? Perhaps I am for really being able to pull off both. - This fucking girl. - You know? (laughing) She's got them both. - Yeah. - I know I keep talking about the fact She's filming. and is a love interest to both Stephen and Belmont. It's just, she's a business woman, you know. She knows what she's doing in Africa. She's in a room being like, I wanna know what's gonna sell these two guys as my partners. Yeah, and it's really, it's quite genius. There was a photo from Inside the Party that was Belmont, Taylor's Carp Res and Nicholas Gowd's son. And I, I went, the father's son in the whole spirit. Uh oh, my God, it's like, wow baby. I forgot what, I think I saw it on maybe like some random Vogue, but it wasn't Vogue, it was another country's Vogue post of it all. And oh my God. Oh my God. Oh yeah, I want the one. Look at these three. I want the one on the left, middle of right. Yeah. Just kidding. No, really, it's incredible. It's not like two old women. Yeah, give them to me all. They're so cute. We're like the grandma's on TikTok when they're like, "Grandma, what do you think about this guy?" Oh, and they're going, oh, oh. Beautiful, beautiful man. He's so cute, beautiful man, beautiful man. And I, yeah, really couldn't do it anymore. These two are filming their next red, white, and royal wedding. That's insane. That's insane. And that guy on the left, that is insane. I can't even look at Belmont anymore. He has grown up before our very eyes. Like, he was in the, I'm sorry, I'm getting the look from Noah that's like, "Wrap up, we have to go film Drew Barrymore, keep talking," he was just in this studio like a little kid. You know what I mean? Like, he has just grown up right before our eyes. I can't believe it, I cannot believe it. I think I'm younger. I think you are. No, I think we're the same age. I think you're like the same age. But I just feel like maternal over him. Right, it's, that feels not how you feel. I don't think you feel maternal. I was trying. I actually don't think you feel maternal at all. Not even a little bit. I was trying to like tone it down, and I toned it all the way down to like incest. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was trying to just, I was like, I was about to say like, "No more of like your proud on like a sister level." And then that's, that's we are too. Right, right. Yeah, no, I just, it doesn't work. No. But these carpet looks were so good. Kendall and that polka dot was incredible. Monica Barbara, I loved her dress. Tiana Taylor. What did you think of Kim? I really didn't like it. You didn't like it. I like the dress a lot. I didn't like the hair. No, the hair was not my favorite. But I think if there was a different hair with this dress, she looks great though. I think this is different for her, which I like. Like, I thought it was a different look. Yeah, shout out law. Yeah. I'm just never particularly blown away by Kim's looks. Are you, I feel like there was a time where yes, maybe not recently. It's been, but, but, and there was a time for sure. Haley looked so divine in the paint. Really, really, really pretty. Really good in the pink. And you know what? Kudos to the guys because they really be dressing. Eddie Redmayne, Eddie Redmayne. Eddie Redmayne. Do you see his look? It's his name like that. Eddie Redmayne. Did you see Eddie Redmayne? I did, I did, I did. But like all of them, I thought the guys like drew starkey. Also, I can't believe the drama. Listen, but these guys are, I'm saying they're dressing. They're dressing and different fun like really cool stuff. Look at it. I like that. Eddie Redmayne. Look at Eddie Redmayne. I think he looks fun. More like Eddie Bluemayne there. I love that you laughed before you said it because you knew that it was good. You thought about it and then threw it out there. Oh, this is very blue actually. Well, I was thinking about the drama that must have went down inside the Academy Museum gala between the drew starkey Kelly Spani and Odessa. They were all in the same room together. Yeah, I thought that too and I saw pictures of that. And also, anytime you put Taylor and Kim in the same room, I'm like, I saw people were saying Carly, though, Carly Clawson, Taylor Swift. We're in a picture together. Yeah, well Carly was at her wedding. Was that her wedding? Yes. Yes. Yes. Well, they're not friends enough to take pictures at the gallery. I think they are. She was eight pictures with everybody. Carly Clawson was at the wedding and Blake Lively wasn't. So they're definitely friends. Yeah. And let's not forget that Blake Lively wasn't at that wedding. I was thinking about that this morning, which is such a weird thought to have while you're getting ready. But I was. You really just don't see her around anymore at all, you know? No. Well, I had one more thought about this gala and it's escaping me. Oh, well, this wasn't it. But I kept seeing stupid AI videos of Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift talking. Oh, yeah, I saw those too. Yeah. And I was getting pissed off. And Kelly Keeke fell for it. Yeah. She was like, oh my god. Okay, Facebook mom, it's hard out there sometimes. It is. It's very real. It's really scary. If it's not like a real account, it's very scary. You really have to do your diligence now and like you have to cross reference and look back and see. But I know I said already, Tiana Taylor and that and that Scott Verily gown was incredible. And the fannings, fannings, gorgeous. I love the fannings. I really do too. I mean, they said Rocky said he wanted to play James Bond. Yeah, but then when he was asked about how he takes his marketing, he loved the answer and I said, okay, well, clearly you lost it. You lost it. You lost the part. Oh, wait. Go up to a party. Okay, Betty Boop. This dress that Greta Lee is wearing, stunning. And not like everyone was in works of art. Really stunning. That dress is insane. Do you really? Emma Chamberlain was giving. I was giving Betty Boop. It was very Betty Boop. I can't say, you know, can't say I love that hair despite the dress being gorgeous. No, I don't really go. If there's a carpet, come and demand goes on in this world and any kind of a gala or something like this, you know, who I want to be sitting next to come and demand. Oh my God. Put me at his table. Connor's story, looking great. Yes. Yep. Yep. Emily Radikowski wore this dress, but it was also very similar to the dress the McKenna Grace wore, which was a nod to Jennifer Lawrence from before the Hunger Games in the red because the McKenna Grace is going to be in some reason the weeping. I will say I'm reaping weeping weeping. I'm bored of Jacob. Well, he's looks lately. He looks the same. Yeah. You know what? And here's the thing. All the other guys are showing up and dressing like I just said. So he's fallen behind Hunter Shafer's hair looked incredible. She looks so gorgeous, but her hair or something about her hair was stunning. Yeah. Jacob needs to make sure that he doesn't get left behind and we're about to leave him. No, he is. I need a little flare. What do you want him to do? What makes up some texture of that? I mean, you can wear a black tux but put some texture on a little brooch or something. Plus something. He's the same thing with the hair that's all mentioned in the sun. He's always like a classic black suit or a tough situation on a carpet when the carpet when. Yes, because on a carpet when you see guys like Drew Starky now coming down, I'm like, come on. Come on. Show up. Do you think people who you think Anna Winter is texting in the in the mech group chat, like, guys, what what are we doing? We got to make sure. And they have like completely fucked up. And you think maybe because like there's no. I don't know what it is, but at these these dress, these carpet looks have been incredible. Incredible. This is the new the random day in October is the new day. We have to look forward to Saturday and October maybe because it's like they don't have a theme. And people can just like do whatever the fuck they want, and you get like really unique pieces. And there's I don't know if there's like no pressure to it or what, but it is just great. And Taylor performed inside. So got a bunch of videos and see maybe people just have more fun, a little more lax. You can have your phone. You can be recording. You can post stuff. Yeah. Maybe a little more. Yeah. A little more fun. Well, listen, we're jealous that we're not a part of of the biggest night of the year. I will say at this point in my life, I love a good pajama set. I want to be cute, warm, snugly. I want the material to be great. And I love a skims pajama set. They are the best. I'm just really focusing on the quality of my sleep. And for me, that includes what I wear to bed. This has the best pajamas. I literally feel like I sleep better when I feel good in the fabrics that I'm wearing. And just lounging has been so great, like just putting on a long sleeve and pants and that pajama set and getting cozy on the couch. It's so amazing. The skims caught in fleece collection. It's so good. I have been wearing my skims sweatpants, I think, like every day. Every time I go out in the morning, I'm walking, I'll live, I'm running errands. The sweatpants are so good. And the plush fleece is so soft, cozy and comfortable without feeling too heavy. It's perfect for everyday wear, whether I'm out running errands or relaxing at home. Coming on to dancing with the stars, drama, gosh, that was a woken from my nap with this news. Matt shook me. He's like, wake up, wake up, that was been benched. I said, why has been benched? I didn't even know what he was talking about. I was like, what are those words mean? You don't even wake up from a nap? Everyone was saying bench, so I'm like, is that the term? You're in a date. The big game. He's not starting. And now I'm like, who's Val? Val dancing with the stars, he's been sat out. I'm like, what? Shoot up. I text you guys. I'm like, oh my god. What's happened? I was asleep. So last week, because we never talked about it because everything was happening so fast. It happened right after we finished recording. So I actually have a lot to say about this. Yeah, there's a lot to say about it. I don't want to say that dancing with the stars has gone to soft by benching Val. Do we think the pros have gone to soft with the accepting judgment from the judges? Like, that's where I'm at because-- I'm with you. Because, all right, well, if you're going to call dancing with the stars to software for Val being like, I'm going to, maybe the first prince is going to enter the ballroom. Yes. We know that he meant wife's name out of his mouth, but we all know if you referenced that, if you referenced that, you have to know people are going to be like the slap. Yeah. That was the biggest part of the whole thing. Yeah. Let's not forget what happened after he said. Nope. Nope. That was before. The slap was first. And then said it. He said it. Yeah. People forget the white key by wife's name out of your mouth. Yeah. Everyone remembers the slap. So if you-- You're going to really believe that. Like, I don't believe that. I don't believe that's what he meant. I don't know what he meant. But it wasn't good. That you're just referencing that whole thing. If you're referencing that entire thing that night, but I don't think he was-- I don't think his message was, I'm going to slap Karian, but that wasn't-- No, I'm not. It wasn't that was the message. It's not funny, but when you say it like, that's-- No, sorry. It's a certain thing. I don't think anyone thinks Val was saying he was a slapper in reality at all, but-- It's just the reference. No. If you referenced in general, and then people are like, it's weird. He said, "Freshman's not will smith." Like, why? Like, you know, it was-- It was very-- I feel like that sometimes Val just-- You know what Val does a lot? I'm from Brooklyn. Yeah, yeah. It's like, what? I think that's what he was trying to do. That's what he was trying to do. Everything. But anyways, so he does this. And that night, like, Jenna had posted that she had a good cry after the show, after Karian's feedback. And by the way, they got good scores. That's what they-- They got eights and a nine. That's what really is so crazy me too, because it's like, yes, Karian's-- Karian said what she said. And you know what I would really like? I would really like Karian to clarify what lift she was talking about, because I can't handle watching one more TikTok of girls fighting in the messages being like, well, that wasn't the lift she was talking about, because there's two things. It's like they were talking about when Harry was lifted by other people. And there's like a split second that Jenna's feet leave the floor at the same time with Harry. And people were like, no, that's the lift she was talking about. I'm like, well, is it? Because she didn't say. So there's some confusion on that specifically. And people are also resurfacing an old dance of, I think it was, I think it was Vals, where Karian was like, very sneaky of you. I like that loophole that you can of doing the lifts because it wasn't you doing the lifting because it was like they were lifted by other people in the dance. So people were like, well, that-- and then it was like, well, what part is this? Well, part of that. Regardless of what it was, Karian said that and then gave them an eight. Yeah. So this is the problem that I think we're both having with this is that judges need to be allowed to judge. Yes. Or disagree with Karian, whatever, her job is to judge and create conversation. We can't have the judges every week just stand up and clap and say, good job, everybody. Exactly. And you know what pissed me off? Derek making a face when Karian was giving her being like, ooh, because that made it worse. That made it like, oh, Karian saying something really bad right now. I'm going to make a face that sometimes she has a little bit of an attitude when she delivers. Of course, of course, but she's a judge. So do we not remember Simon Cowell? No, I know. Simon Cowell was a fucking dickhead. And we loved it. And we loved seeing some of these old clips because I never watched of Len. I mean, those were like-- That's what I'm saying. But I think Len is rolling over in his grave because there is like, it's just Len, this is just, like, Len was just always honest with how he felt and he needs you have to be able to do that. It's so frustrating, you know. Like, we used to love that type of TV where the judges were assholes and we were like, yes, they're like giving feedback. But now Karian does it and it's a huge problem and it's so annoying. And there's a whole conversation like dancing with the stars is, you know, valipologized and he said he didn't mean it, carrying soft and dancing with the stars is soft for benching him. Yeah. Well, how about the pros being soft on getting criticism back for a show that they're supposed to get criticism? They should have never happened in the first place. Critique. Sorry. I don't know. Critique of their dance. Yeah. Because that's what the show is. Yeah. It should have never happened because there was no reason for Val to post that story. And if Jenna wants to get her feelings out and say that she's entitled to how she wants to feel, of course, she had an emotional night. It could be a lot. They're working hard. There's a lot of outside noise. But I actually saw a girl with no job talk about this. I saw a clip where she was like, they need the pros need to get offline because every time you click a video about dancing with the stars, you click the comments, the pros are in the comments. Yeah. It's like get, get out of the comments and just, and they know it's so hard, it's so hard. It's so hard. And they're and it's like a new wave. So this is all very new, but like I promise, I think if they just get out of the comments, things will just go a little bit smoother. Like in terms of online talk, like if he's into it, they want to play to the fans so much now that I think it's, they've got lost in it a bit, where it's like, especially with the dances or they want to be able to give the fans what they want, whether that's on social media or doing the show or whatever. And now it's like, it's, it's so embedded into the show that it's like, are you doing it for you or for what the people online are saying or for the couple, whatever. So it, it is pretty crazy. At the end of the day, it's like, Val made this reference and any, any studio, any business and he, like they're going to be like, you can't do that. Val was wrong. You can't do that. We, that's a reference you cannot make and there has to be consequences to, to that action. Yeah. I don't even know how. So it's just like, it's just all unfortunate because it becomes a series of unfortunate events, it's like that, so now it rolls into Val not being in the dance, Alan is dancing with Jenna. Yeah. I just don't even know how there was a discussion of whether Val was right or wrong in this, like Val was wrong. But you, you can't be referencing the, the, the great, the great Oscar style, be honest. I was pretty surprised that so much of the, of the commentary I was seeing was like, he was clearly joking. Like, he shouldn't, this is, this is too far and, and Karen was doing her job, judging. So we, you know, I don't know, but then, yeah, Alan stepping in and Gleb, who, Gleb out of the left fucking, hasn't even been invited from the peanut gallery, like, just gets on live and is like, yeah, I mean, Alan's a, from outside the clerk, but he's like, Alan's a good dancer for TV, bro, what? Like, poor Alan, the most disrespectful part was when he said Alan, I mean, like, he's Alan. It's like Alan. I think he's Alan. I mean, he's just not up to the level of dancing, like period. That was, I was like, are you gone because Gleb is with all of these dancers, still a fairly decent amount. Like, he was at dance with the stars, Conn. We were all together. They were playing, we were all playing ping pong, a good dancer, I guess, for TV. But if we talk about art dancing, like, creating art, he's like, I don't know, sorry, art dancing. This shook me up. This really shook me up. I love him being like, I don't want to talk. - I don't have anything against the guy, just why Alan? - Like, who else is that? - I gotta be honest. - Do you think that he thought they were gonna call him up? - Listen, yeah, maybe he thought "Gleb was gonna get the call to dance with Jenna." I don't, like, "Gleb.Gleb was getting the call." I don't know, but this was a, this was so uncalled for. Like, what is Alan ever done to you, bro? - Right, and now, like, the pros are always in all the comments. How come there's been no talk about "Gleb" here? - How come nobody's been in the comments of this? - Maybe there's like, "Don't acknowledge this exists." - Seriously. - Or are they, like, fighting backstage at Dancing the Stars? - Or maybe they just all had a collective agreement where, like, this guy isn't even on the fucking show. Let's not give him any, any attention. - He's on troop, remind me. (laughs) - I, I was stunned by this. I mean, poor Alan, okay. I, if I'm Alan, I'm so pissed about this whole thing. And now, and, you know, who I feel bad for the most? Jenna Dewan. - Yeah. - The one is just getting, like, just the brunt of it. - Yeah. - Because she's got this partner who keeps messing up this season and putting attention on them. - Oh, Val. - Yeah. - Versailles. Versailles, I thought we were talking about Alan. - I was talking about Jenna Dewan. I see you spacing out, and I'm like, am I? - No, no, no, no. - I'm not the right person. - No, no, no, no. I was just still stuck in Alan. - No, I'm just like, Jenna Dewan, like, she's now had to deal with all these things. Versailles, it feels like we ain't too weak. It's been something. - And now, she's got Alan coming in. - Yeah. - Who apparently is only good at dancing for TV? - Yeah. - We're getting about art dancing. - I love Alan. So I'm really upset about that. - I love Alan too. I think that was so uncalled for. I think him and Jenna are gonna have a beautiful dance. Another way to know what they need to do? - Glob and Alan need to dance box battle it out. - Dance battle. - They need to dance battle it out. - Out. - Yeah. - They need to dance battle it out ASAP. - Yeah. - That's the only way to solve this. I'll see you in the ballroom, other fucker. - Yeah. - Well, maybe in the motherfucking ballroom. - I'm not your bra. - Yeah. I was gonna say that another point to this is that, I think there'll be a whole different conversation if this was a week where someone was being eliminated. I know we're making that assumption, but rarely, if ever, I don't know, if my recent memory has someone been sent home on dedication night. So I think that comes into play here. Like if it was like, oh, Val is being benched and it could potentially send them home, that's different too. But I think that this is a way where it's like, what do you mean? - I guess like if this was next week or last week. - No, it would have been worse for Jenna. - Yeah. - I don't think they would have kept Val because Val still did what he did, but I think it's what they would have been like, well, like thankfully for Jenna, I don't think that'll, we'll put them at risk of being eliminated like this week 'cause I don't think anyone's being eliminated this week. - Yeah, I don't think so. - But it is such a beautiful night of love and dedication and my God or things getting messy. - I think I have to address this. - They're getting on dedication. - I mean, how do you not? - I don't think they do. - No, no, no, they have to say like, Jenna dancing with Alan. - Like when they do like the little like package, are they gonna be like, so how's it going? - I got one of the best stuff in this week. - They have to show something. Like, they're gonna be like, well, that was unfortunate here's Alan. - It's making me uncomfortable. - I know. - But it's gonna be a good night. - Because unfortunately, Karen is getting a lot of blowback for this too of people like blaming Karen that this is her fault. - No, people, you know what? - He's really driving me nuts. People saying Karen just be suspended. - Yeah. - All Karen was doing her job. - Karen did nothing wrong. If you have a problem with the way she delivers her feedback, that's one thing. But she did not do anything wrong in terms of doing her job. So anybody saying that Karen needs to be suspended like Val, you gotta go get your head checked because you are not thinking about this correctly at all. - When Val comes back, next week that's gonna be awkward. Like after the dance, you think he's gonna apologize. - He's probably gonna go get for Karen a little more. - Yeah. - It's just like, it's crazy to me because I really didn't feel to get affected the scores that much, which makes the bigger impact. I do think that Karen could maybe elaborate a little more of what her thought process was on this. - For sure. And that's fine. - Yeah, that, yeah. - If people are asking for more of a clarification on what exactly she was talking about because she has in the past said, those types of, oh, that's a loophole. They're like, "Thought China found a loophole "'cause Val had a loophole bubble bubble." - And that's rational thinking for you, to want some more clarification. But to say Karen should be suspended. - No, no, no, no, no, no. No. - Can't wrap my head around it. - No, anyways. - No, you just can't, yeah. Crazy, craziness. - Harry Styles is doing a documentary for his MSG concerts, which is very exciting. That's just very cool news. But John Wilson was a great, great documentarian. - Sure, that's right. - And I saw people like he was on, maybe this, he was on a ferry. Sounded on a ferry? I don't know, he was on a ferry. And people clocked him with John Wilson in a camera. Everyone was like, "Ooh, what is he filming?" All these things. So they're doing a whole documentary about his MSG residency, which will be very cool. I think it's gonna be featuring performances, but also a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff and the other people that are involved in the production, and the fans and everything. So that's gonna be cool. - Very cool. And then on top of that Friday night, was the anniversary of Liam Payne's dashing. And Harry debuted a song that he wrote for Liam Payne, about Liam Payne, which was just gut-wrenching. - Yeah, he sang this song, "What is Enough?" He had said that he wrote it about two years ago, hasn't shared it, but in his speech, up to performing this song, acknowledged that it was, like I said, two years since Liam had passed and where he wrote it, and the lyrics, he said, "I could tell you what it's like to bury friends on a Wednesday night, gather in the garden, round of fire." It was just a heartbreaking song. Nile also had a concert, and he has a moment in his show, where he sort of honors Liam, and there was a song in his last album, that represents that time, "End of an Era," and you could also tell he was getting a little emotional and teary-eyed in that moment as well, but it was a beautiful song, and it's still heartbreaking every single time, and I see it, and I saw his girlfriend on TikTok posting some videos honoring him in the last of, I said, "It had been two years." And I said, "Wow, I also couldn't believe it was two years." And he just kind of just talked about being so lucky and being in an chemistry and how honored he is to be there and doing all those things, and wanted to acknowledge that he wouldn't have been there without those people on the way, and Liam is one of those people. Very sad, but very nice of him to acknowledge. Yeah, it was a beautiful song. I feel like that's the best way to honor him, you know? For sure, yeah. All right, that wraps up today's topics. Let's get into the weekly Rotterport brought to you by Chase Sapphire Preferred. Okay, Fran, I have to ask, are you one of those people who actually maximizes travel rewards, or are you just out here booking flights and hoping for the best? (upbeat music) All right, let's get into the weekly watch port where we talk about the things we watch as we go weekly, watch port on Monday, weekly, watch port on Monday, weekly, watch port on Monday, weekly, watch port on Monday. Now here's the thing. I actually spent majority of the week and watching something screeners or something that is not out yet for an interview we have this week. So that took up chunk of my weekend. Watch the first two episodes of Love is Blind. Same. Oh, look at that, just the first two. Actually, I'm half way through the third. I gotta be honest, I hate these people. Yeah, it's not doing anything. It's not doing too much for me. I'm not gonna lie. Although I do, I want to just put out a public message because I know we have some amazing Boston. listeners. I'm sure you know some of these people. I want I want that I want the tea. Yeah. DM me. And let me know like I have you know any of these people like call me like hit my line because I feel like I want the this it feels very a lot of these it felt very surface level for some of these for some of these people. And I'm like, give me the real give me the real tea. Like what are the people in Boston talking about when when they're watching this show right and Boston a big but small. Everybody knows like everyone knows each other and I just feel like love is blind hitting Boston was probably really making waves. And I want to know what we think about these guys. I agree. And now I feel like we love our Boston people, but I did not like these people so far from what I've seen. Do they have to get dressed up for the pods because I feel like if you can't see me, I would just be in a sweatshirt and sweatpants and a hair up and wake up all the time. Right. Well, they know they're on TV. Right. But they're on television. And I would be like, Oh my God. I got to get dressed again. Yeah. For you to not see me. No, that's very fair. But I think you're really concerned about what what the world is going to say. That's fair. That's fair. Good point. And they're like, yeah. Yeah. But there's there's some interesting people. This guy's too interesting. I'll give it a C-plus for now. Yeah. Yeah. There's been some there was like the very superficial, but also then a couple like very deep conversations like I forget who I never remember all their names is the issue. But some of them two of them were talking about, you know, vaccines, abortions, where they were like, it's like he, the guy kind of said what I thought he thought his opinion was. And then she came back with like a very great return and like thoughtful and knowledgeable response. And he was like, yeah, I know, agreed. And I was like, well, he's start that way. When you just, when you just said how you felt the first time. Yeah. But, but yeah. Yeah. They threw in that one prep, like prep school kid that doesn't shut up about himself. Then he's from Connecticut. Everybody else seems like pretty nice. I would like there. Nothing crazy. No. One guy who won't give up being a boat captain. He's like, I got to be on my boat. Yeah. That was interesting. He's like no matter what, like I'm going to be on the boat overseas. Yeah. And the one girl who was like, she loved that guy. Mori so fast. And then it was over in a blink of an eye. Mm-hmm. Mori. Interesting, fella. I don't trust him. No way at all. No way. He does not find someone. I don't trust him at all. No way. No way. No. No, no, no. At all. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. But I think that's a fair, um, great for where we're at right now. I've watched Carrie, but still not bad deep into it. Yeah. So I'll give that a B minus. And I'm sure I watched some other things, but I really did spend a chunk of time. Carrie I think is so good. Yeah. I never really walked. Like, have you seen the original movie? Yeah. I don't think I ever have the whole like supernatural element to it. Was that always a thing? Or was that been introduced in the TV show? Like I always thought Carrie was just like, she was just really like bullied in school. Yeah. I mean, I haven't seen the movie like since I was a kid probably. Yeah. Yeah. So I just don't remember if like the whole like supernatural element was a part of it. Yeah. I had to have been that was Stephen King. Yeah. And then besides that, like I said, I watched a show that is not yet. Yeah. So I watched the first four episodes of Carrie. Really good. I think the cast is fantastic. It's all a bunch of, you know, younger actors and actresses. And I'm really enjoying it. I'll give it a B plus. I think it's really, really good. Love is buying. I've watched two and a half episodes almost out with a third. I'll give that a C minus. Yeah. C minus. There hasn't been a real big outlandish moment in my mind yet. Maybe it just hasn't happened. It maybe haven't seen it yet. Just because of where where I am in watching it. Finish lanterns. Really, really enjoyed it. Thought it was very, very good. That's a solid A really enjoyed the last two episodes. I thought they wrapped up the first season and also obviously opened the door for so much, so much more that can be, can be done with it. And then speaking of Aaron Pierre, who's so good, I watched love in my life, which is the new Mark Equality, Gabrielle Basso, Aaron Pierre, Patrick Schwarzenegger. I was going to watch that last night. And then I just saw all the comments like this called me up. And I'm like, am I in the mood for that? I mean, I, I saw people saying it was going to fuck them up. And I just, here's the, okay, spoiler. I'm going to put a spoiler alert. I'm not going to spoil too much. I don't spoil it. Spoiler alert. What if we, I know, it's not, it's not great. Like, you're giving a spoiler to the listeners. No, because, because they'll, they'll yell me and I'm telling you, it's not, I'm not ruining the movie for you guys. The, you know, when you watch a trailer, you see multiple guys. You're like, ooh, something sad. Obviously, this guy dies. Well, you're like, oh, obviously, something sad happens. It's way worse than you think that you think it's going to be. I will say it was just, it, it happened in a way that I really did not expect. They hid the real plot of this movie incredibly well. Like it is not in the trailer at all or anything. But it was a beautiful movie. I didn't necessarily look. I wanted, I don't want to spoil too much about the end. It left me wanting more. I'll say. And so I'll give it a B. But my god, I was bawling. It really is one of those that gets you. I watched the first two episodes of War. I didn't watch the new third one. But I watched the first two episodes of War. So, I don't think, I don't know if he's that into it. I'm, I'm not that into it yet. I'm, I'm getting there a little bit. But all the characters are unlikable to me for the most part. So. Yeah. I think that's kind of the point. No, I know. But it's like one of those like, you're typical HBO show obsession type. Like where I'm like, oh, I don't know that I can't use these people. But yeah, well, divorce is messy and ugly and brings out the worst of people. And I think that's kind of, and like, feuding law firms. I mean, even just this guy playing both sides. I thought, no good. How this can't be allowed. Yeah. This feels really like it can't be allowed. So it's that intrigued me. And obviously, wanting to see how that all plays out because that's got to blow up it. What's his name real fashion main actor, the Dominic West. Yeah, he really is unlikable. Like, he just has an unlikable face. Yeah. Cheater. Yeah. Yeah. But I'm like, yeah, like, even if I just saw him, I'd be like, yeah, I don't trust. Yeah. I'll give the first two episodes a B because I feel like it'll get better. And I want to. I feel like I watched some. I know I watched Rooney, but I don't have too much to say about this week. I feel like I'm kind of in the midst of the in the midst of the season so far. I also watched what you were watching that we have our guests coming on for. And that's it. Yeah. Okay. I finished the show below with now I'm spacing out. Josh Hartnett. Josh Hartnett. And by the way, the new hold on. Let me just say this correctly. New Finn Land. That's how you say I've now because I apologize for getting the like location wrong and now I have. Oh, now we're saying it wrong saying it wrong. Oh, shit. I've been apologizing. New Finn Land. New Finn Land. Not New Finn Land. Oh, I've. Oh, then that's that's on me. I always thought it was new. I thought it was. New Finn Land. New Finn Land. I'm so sorry. Listen, these people are proud group and they will call you up. So apologies for that. Is it not new? New Finn Land. New Finn Land. That's how you say it. Okay. If you were just to read it looks like Newfoundland. Yeah. Right. Right. Yes. Listen. Okay. Anyways, it was it was a fine show. Um, I thought the ending was hilarious just because like it seemingly wrapped up like nicely and you had like this isn't a spoiler. But like you're like, wow. Okay. For like two minutes, you're like satisfied and like seemingly going well. And then it was just the most blatant like in the last 30 seconds. Like T's for another season. Like they just like couldn't let it. I don't know if they will get another season, but it was the most obvious. Like we're going to leave it open for another season. Um, so I'll give that a B. I did go see you can see everything. I won't. I'm so jealous. Go too much into it other than that. It's an A plus for me. Damn. I don't know what doesn't give out A pluses. I don't like it was it's like three hours, but it does not feel that long. And you're just like stunned at what's happening. I mean, like everything alone, like the cinematography is insane. You're like, how did they? It looks like a feature film. Right. But they're just like in this lady's house. That's right. So so many people saying is like they went to go see it and they were like, you had to remind yourself. You were watching a documentary and not that these people were acting so many times you like feel like you're watching like just a normal movie. Um, and then yeah, there's so many things that you're just like leave you speechless. Uh, and Nathan Fielder. Yeah, I don't want to say too much. Like it's it really is like I'm really happy that I saw it without getting it spoiled because now my Twitter is blowing up with like all of my spoilers. but yeah, I mean, just crazy. - You think it should be in best picture content? - I definitely think so. And this isn't a spoiler that are all, but the guy that Elizabeth Holmes is with is just like an insane character. Like, I know he's not playing a character. - That's right, that's her husband. - Like he is just, as a real person. - I went in, I went in being like, it's gonna be about finding out how crazy Elizabeth Holmes is, which I think is still true, but this guy, almost out does her for insane. So yeah, that's an A plus, I definitely wanna go see it again. But yeah, like I said earlier, like so many times where the whole theater was just like either gasping or like cracking up. So yeah, A plus. - And I've seen people say it's one you wanna go see, like with friends or with other people, 'cause you wanna like talk about it or say, it's a shared experience. - Yeah, I did not. - Oh yeah. - I saw it, but even just like going to the bathroom, like hearing every, like people are like, don't even know what to say. It's one of those things. - You walk out of there like, what the fuck did I just watch? So yeah, A plus. I watched that terrible movie, Ben Affleck movie, "Animals." Just so, just so stupid. It's the most blatant, like I have a deal with Netflix and have to make this amount of movies. I've ever seen. - Wasn't this supposed to be mad Damon though? - And I'm sure that he was like, "Thank God, I have the awesome movies." And like carry Washington, I'm like, I mean, hey, it's a check, so. But yeah, I'll get that like, and I think that's a D plus honestly. I was gonna get to see my, but that's a D plus. It's just like, - Damn. - I just put it on because I was like, I need background from I'm scrolling Twitter. And then I went to see Whalefall yesterday. - I know, I know what that is. It's the movie where God gets swallowed by a whale. - Oh shit, yes I do. I saw those, I saw those trailers. - The trailer, I was like, I gotta see this. - You guys see it, he just gets eaten by a whale. And he's like, he's like alive in the whale. - He's stupid diving. He's scuba diving, so he gets swallowed by a whale. And now he can, I mean, it's none of its realistic because. - It's like, he has a certain amount of air and laughs while he's inside the whale. - Yeah. And-- - Jeez. (laughing) - And like, going into this, I didn't know that Josh Broen was in it, but he's like the dad of this guy. - He's the whale. (laughing) - I mean, I don't wanna spoil things, but like. - What? - Like I, I'm gonna say-- - I said that completely as a joke. - No, no, no. - You can't possibly be the one. - No, I mean, I don't even know like, know if you care, but this is the second half of this movie. - I can promise you one thing. I will not be saying this movie. - First of all, like, it had my attention, but then after while you're like, okay, he's just in this whale. Like, you know he's gonna get out probably, but it was classed or phobic, obviously, it's disgusting. Like, him and a giant squid get swallowed together. The squid is like what pulls him in. - Oh. - And then so him and the squid are just like in the belly and the squid trying to like kill him in the belly. And it's just like crazy. - Oh my God. - But the second half of this movie was so absurd and ridiculous. Like kind of what you were just saying. Like, I don't wanna give too much away. Where he's like talking to the whale and the whale's talking back to him like, it was, like, I know what it was trying to do and like it's symbolism and metaphor and all this stuff, but it was so ridiculous that I was laughing. Like, just like how my father engulfed me in his life. This whale hasn't got swallowed. - Yeah. - No, it was-- - Spiritual. - Ridiculous. And I think I have to give it a C-minus. It was just so absurd. Like, higher than animals. - No, it's still higher than animals because this is like, it was a better movie. - Okay. - Objectively. - Okay. - But the second half of this movie, or like toward the end of it, I don't wanna give too much away but you pretty much just said what I'm saying. - Yeah. - Like why are, like, you're taking, I was all in for the suspend belief thing. You got swallowed by a whale, you're in a whale. Don't start talking to the whale and have the whale talk back to you. - What else? - Well, seemingly, like, save you now. Now, like, you're talking-- - Yeah, well. - It's ridiculous. And then I watched the first two episodes of War last night and I'm kinda getting into it. Like, I'll give it a B as well. - I think it'll pick up. The first episode was kinda slow but I think that's just set up the characters. - Court and stuff. - Yeah, exactly. - So yeah, that's all I watched. - Amazing. All right, that is everything we watch this week. That wraps up today's episode of Chicks in the Office. Thank you so much for watching and listening. We love you guys so much and we'll talk to you on Wednesdays. - Yeah, Chicks in the Office. A long time listener. First time caller. - Look at the charts, who does the best? Two chicks getting paid in reality checks. You can find them at the gym. It's not even a flex. Last minute red carpet blew them out on the jet. Yeah, they're who you wanna be. They're always on your screen. Two queens and they might be spilling royalty. A lot of topics that are popping here to get into. I know a show that you probably wanna listen to. - Who turned the heat up? Turn the beat up. Record the pie made a bag with their feet up. The ones that leave no crumbs when they clean up. Who's the pie that they all want to meet up? (upbeat music)
