Know your limits, Know your worth - Para sa mga taong naloko at nanloko

In this podcast episode, the host discusses the topic of cheating and infidelity, sharing personal experiences and insights. They define cheating broadly, based on therapist Rachel Wright's perspective, as breaking any romantic, emotional, intellectual, or digital agreements in a relationship, not just sexual acts. Five types of cheating are outlined: sexual infidelity (physical acts), emotional infidelity (forming deep bonds with others), romantic infidelity (romantic gestures outside the relationship), intellectual infidelity (sharing psychological interests with someone else), and cyber infidelity (digital interactions like sexting or chatting online). The host recounts their own experience of being cheated on during a three-year relationship, where they ignored red flags due to love, living in a fantasy world while reality was toxic. They emphasize that cheating is a deliberate choice, not an accident, and cannot be justified by personal history or trauma. The host advises partners who have cheated not to rush trust rebuilding, and encourages victims to recognize their worth, acknowledge their emotions, and avoid protecting the cheater's image. Ultimately, the episode aims to help listeners understand that love does not excuse betrayal, and that self-respect is crucial in moving forward from infidelity.

And as you can see, in the title of this podcast, we're gonna go to our next episode. Know your limits, know your word. And it has something to do with the reason why I'm here today to upload this episode for this live talk podcast. 'Cause I know on my previous episode, I told myself that I'm gonna go back to my consistent upload of every Saturday. You know that. That's it. I didn't do anything yet. Although I tried. But again, I'm really happy because I'm happy that I can't do anything. But here I am now trying to get back and try to make an episode. 'Cause this is something happened earlier that made me do this. I was emotional then. I was like, "Oh wait, I want to record something about this." And I guess. 'Cause I'm gonna go back to episode 5 of February. February is about February. Yeah. February is already a bit late. This episode, I'm just here on the road. I'm stuck on the road because every time I will try to record. I'm not recording. What's that? That's what we're gonna do. That's what I'm gonna do. In my opinion, I'm gonna do something about it. I'm gonna go back to the past and I'm gonna go back to my past. I'm gonna go back to my past. Just because you love that person in your life. And because I have to admit that I'm gonna go back to my past. And by that, and by that experience of mine, I want to share all the lessons I've got to you to all of you. Because I know that I'm gonna be able to understand this. But I pray that I won't be able to do it because I'm gonna be able to train my soul, my mind, every aspect of yours mentally, physically, emotionally, and I'll be able to train you. I'll be able to do it because I'm gonna be able to do it. I'll be able to do it because I'm gonna be able to train you. And by that experience of mine, I'll be able to train you. And by that experience of mine, Ahead of relationship, mata galsha. And since you love that person, you tend to believe their excuses. You tend to live in this "living your imagination world" in a full of fantasies, full of good things when in reality, Hindi sa ganan, full of toxicity, full of bullshits. Amarami ka nambaga, napedig magindahilan par bu mitaw ka. Pero hindi ka bumi, bitao. And I became that kind of person, so a very, very good person. Even if you don't have that kind of person, you are very good. Or you are not the only one who respect it. Because it's so important to me to respect it. Because I know that love isn't enough for you to be able to do it. Because there are many other ways to respect it. You know, you are being faithful. Not just loyal, but faithful. So, one time, because I don't know what to upload on my podcast episode. Because I got cheated on. I'm just kidding. I'm just a little bit in a relationship. I had a hard time to focus on what's going on. I'm just kidding. I just want to be the best for you to know. Because I know that I'm being shielded or like a weapon. To show that I'm okay. I'm doing good. Nothing bad is happening in my life. I'm doing a tool to make sure that I'm doing good in life. And they have nothing to worry about. Or for those who don't know, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. Because that's the kind of thing I don't know about. I'm just kidding. The thing about me is that I'm really good. I'm just kidding. But I'm just kidding. Because I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. So, as a stupid person, I'm not sure. I'm just kidding. Or I'm just kidding. But first, what's the cheating? In other words, it is also infidelity. And it is an act of being unfaithful to a spouse or to your partner. And it typically means engaging in a sexual or romantic relations with person other than your significant other. And it is also breaking a commitment or promise in the act. So now on a short call, you meaning the cheating or infidelity. Let me tell you a short story of mine. So that's what happened in my life. Now I got cheated on in. I got cheated on in. During that three year relationship, I got cheated on in. I got cheated on the phone. But every time I got cheated, I got the excuse. And the reason or explanation that I got cheated on me. And I was like, "What are you doing with your love that you're a fool?" "I'm not a fool." "I'm not a fool." "I'm not a fool." "I'm not a fool." Because the point is, "What are you explaining?" "I don't want to explain." "I don't want to explain." "In reality, the character is walking red flag." "You know, we know how to put the. "You know, we know how to put the. kasi means ng ganon ang gagawa sa atinig. Ait alam na natin na hindi na maganda or bangit na yan ang yara sa buhay mo we try to ignore that. We try to not acknowledge the things that are going on in our lives kasi if we are trying to not acknowledge our emotions then don't din papasok yung iignormo lang yung ngayara sa buhay mo. kasi bakit mo papasin yung yara sa buhay mo. You will try to do something about that. But ayang nga since love can make you blind sometimes, kajit na aka kikitan natin yung naraa sa buhay nata we choose to ignore that. And the reason why we are ignoring that thing in our lives is because we don't acknowledge your emotions. We don't see our value. We don't see our worth. But if we just realize our worth, then we will all learn how to acknowledge our emotions and by that it will have a change in your life. kasi may mga kahankan ang pagasan ayayara sa buhay mo. So what would happen is mga kahankan ang lakas to do what is right in your life. And that will have a big impact sa saririmo kasi hindi mo nama apek to han pa nga paolit uolit yung saririmo kasi yung New York. So ayon based on the research ko, according to Rachel Wright, a license marriage in Family Therapies or LMFT, she is psychotherapist in New York, host of the podcast The Right Conversations, a podcast about sex, relationships and mental health, sabi ng adito ang infidelity or en cheating though, is not just about kung ganokaraming tao ang naka sex mo. kasi, what usually happens is, kapag sinabi natin ay nag-cheating partner ko sa kong are like, "When we stay cheating, ang bagayinap mo mo paasong sa utak." ng "Sama ng tao, is sex." You know, you're having sex with other people or with a lot of people, yung smalit. Madaming delaga, matabiubay. Yung unang mo paasong sa utak natin. But cheating is not just about that. kasi sabi ng Rachel Wright, yung psychotherapist in New York, it's about breaking any of the romantic, emotional or intellectual agreements nana gand ka sa video significant other or sa partner mo, or sa asawa mo. You know, so yung biksibihin, hindi lang about done, hindi lang about sex and cheating. So, maramita ay ibat ibat ibat, sabi maramita ay ibat ibat ibat class and cheating. So, yung biksibihin, we have romantic cheating, emotional cheating, intellectual cheating, and even cyber cheating. And, sa lahat ng tao, kahit anong classing cheating, an nakanasa mo sa buhay mo. 1 man yal, arin ng number 2, nambudri, kahit anoyan, cheating yan. No. Pag mo naigas, lait yung sarili mo na, hindi ka naman, hindi ka naman yandilo, or, like, bekanaman sa ng reasonable explanation, no. Because say, whatever they have done, or, kahit alindi, to, well, cheating talayon ang yara sa yung, or, if, ikaw yung gumuan, nalag mo naigas, lait yung sarili mo na, I have a reasonable explanation naman, hindi naman, cheating yan, ginawa ako, kanon, yung, yung, yung, you know what you did, yung, you just don't like to admit it to yourself, because you don't want to be cold, a cheater. So, that's what usually happens, eh. So, like I said, the maramita ay ibat ibat ibat classing an cheating. So, we have types of infidelity or cheating. Number one is sexual infidelity. Iti yung madalas na indiisip natin mga tao, or yung unapongapasok sa utak natin, whenever we say the word cheat, yung hook-ups, or phone sex, or sex thing, or yung nasak lovega, maramita ang, maramita ang naka-sex naman nga tao, even if you are really in a relationship, you know, that's what you call the sexual infidelity, because say, you're cheating for sex. Or you're cheating for your pleasure, you know, to satisfy your desire, so that's what you call sexual infidelity. Number two, we have emotional infidelity. Iti yung indi naman sa pisikal na cheating, because say, it's about emotional bands, or yung emotional attachment mo, sa tao na yon. You know, if we say natin your relationship and then you have a friend of yours, na maslamang nin nara ka mo mo, don, kaya sa partner mo, maslamang yung parang na-kifil sa-efka, and secure, protected, or like, mas masaya ka sa tao na yon, that's what you call the emotional attachment. Na-tachi ka na din sa tao na yon, tipong maslamang siya, over your partner. So that's what you call emotional infidelity or emotional cheating. Number three, we have a romantic infidelity. Iti yung naya yam ang makipadit, yung nila landi mutalaga, tasnage-expert, kaya yung nga mga emotional intimacy. Kanon, and that's what you call the romantic cheating because say, you're being romantic now with that person, and not your partner. And then, for the first one, we have intellectual cheating or intellectual infidelity. Iti o naman yung psychological and extracted, ka hindi kanila sa biko, sa pangalawa emotional infidelity, you are emotionally attached with the other person. Iti yung naman sa intellectual infidelity, from the word intellectual, you are psychologically attracted sa tao yon, so like, parang dun muka sa na-ha-hanap yung coma interest new or same kaya yung happy. So, mas nage-andruikadong, nakasama yung tao na yung kaya sa partner mo, you will do rather spend your time with that person over your partner, because say, you have the same mindset or you have the same knowledge about something, and you have the same hobby, you have the same interest, you know, psychologically, you are being much kaya. So, if you are doing that, that's what you call, and that an intellectual infidelity or intellectual cheating. And then, for the last one, for the fifth one, we have the cyber-chating or the digital cheating, or cyber-affair. Stop it, that's bullshit. You know, that kind of mindset is bullshit, kasi, kasi, kaya nana sabi ko panina, kaya nga nana sabi ni, Rachel Wright, a license like, psychotherapies in New York, roo, kahit alin don, nang yayarito, kahit anong uripayon, cheating yang, wagman ng ijustify, yung ginawamu, or yung nang yayar, kasi buhay mo. So, dito to cyber-chating na to, yung madalas nilang ginawak. Kasi, para mo sabi ni lasas, sarin nilana, hindi naman ako na kong cheat, to mitingin lang ako, or naki kipagchat lang ako, hindi naman kami na gmit-up, yung ayon na, sa generation natan, na halos taramihan, umiikut na online, or marami ng may access sa online world, doon lumala pa sincheaters, kasi, doon lala pa sinversion nilana, kasi online, yung, so medyo, masataas yung ego nila, masataas yung confidence nila, to dood at, kasi, dito feel like, they're cheating. According to Lara Berman, PhD, sex and relationship therapist, sabi niito, instead of meeting up by the hour hotel on your lunch break, today's unfaithful partners might just be, nagpapalitan ng mga pictures and videos, or even pagchat with one another on Facebook or Snapchat, nang, ilang uro ka supayan, that's what you call cyber-chanting. So by saying, or by explaining all these five types of cheating, I want you to realize that this has nothing to do with their relationship, or with your relationship, or with your trauma, or with your current kaya, or with your own needs, or with your own needs, your relationship, your partner, naging at nang partner most relationship mo naging naging hindi nga hano, jana, it has nothing to do with that. But someone might cheat on their partner, kasaya maran si lang fear of commitment or maran din yung isang reason na, it's because they saw their parents cheating on one another. You know, as a child, ganagayon ang nakita ni la, so minsan, yung toxic shit na nara nasa mo sabuhay mo, may magkakar ng time na parang maadap mo yung inagawasayon ng imang tao. But still, it will never be a good reason for you to cheat. You know, hindi, hindi shar reasonable explanation na nakita, nakap nakita ko kasaya, you know, family genes acting up her at, or nakita ko kasaya, may history of cheating kami, or gantaku si nakita ko ano ang batta ako, so baka na adap mo. ko stop that bullshit. Yeah, yeah, it's. It has a psychological reason. Pero it will never justify cheating. Kasi it will never have a good reason for you to cheat on someone. You know, why cheat when you can just be honest and leave? Kasi, I want you to realize that cheating will never be good. Whatever reason that you have, just keep that to yourself. You know, what's the reason? It's a partner who knows what you're saying. You know, don't explain. Don't explain. Kasi, yes, we might. tend to, you know, explain better. But, you know, what's this? Yes, you know, the answer. Because it's a shrimp prey. Because it's just a marinaig. But it doesn't mean that. you're open to any explanation. Because in reality, you know, you can explain. Because you have to realize that cheating is not an accident. It will never be an accident. Because it's a choice. And. You know, one, when you're a mess, you'll be able to explain it to someone. So, you'll be able to do it. If you're happy with it, you'll be able to do the shapes you want. But if you're happy with it, you'll be able to do the shapes you want. Because you'll be able to see the basis of the body and the maririlized. Or, if you're happy with it, what if you're happy with it? You're not happy with the basis. What if more than one time? What if more than five times a shot? You know? You'll be able to see it. Since I live in this imagination, I'm already a fool. I'm already a fool of this imagination world. Because despite the shapes I want in my heart, or the reality, what I love about it is that we create this world. That's what exists. And it's full of fantasies. It's full of, you know, good things. But as I said before, the reality is full of bullshit and toxicity. And it's a lot of what I do. And I don't have any idea. It's just that the series is about to be uploaded to the past. Or the partner that's going to be uploaded to the past, because I don't have the right to say that. Or maybe I have the right to say that. And I know that feeling. Because I know that feeling. I don't know what I'm doing. Once you're able to see that you're still in love, you'll be able to see that. That's what happens when you're in love with someone. That's what happens when you're not in love with someone. And then, I'm already a fool. I'm not that kind of person. I'm very happy. I'm very happy. I'm very happy. I'm very happy. Because I remember we're family gathering. And then it just happened two days ago before that family gathering. It's really hard for me. It was really hard for me to, you know, keep a happy face or keep a straight face or do not cry. In front of them. Because I'm still in Egypt. Or even if I'm still in Egypt, I'm still not that kind of person. So I'm really stressed. Once you're still in love with someone, you're still able to see that. You're still trying to see that. Or you're still in your phone. No matter how much you try to forget that, you can never forget that. And if you are the partner of my family, what do you expect? What do you expect? Because you're not able to see that. You're already a fool. No, bro, have patience. You know, if you want to work your relationship power, or if you're still having a chance, if you work your relationship, you don't have patience. Don't rush your partner. Since you broke my trust over and over and over again, I need a lot of time for me to trust you once again. You're not the only one who can't tell me what I'm doing. My value, my worth and my people. Let's say we're wrong. You know, we're a factor of the past. Trust in you, trust in your relationship, and trust in the environment of your family. So, I want you to realize that if you are the person that I'm the one who can't tell you what I'm doing, don't rush your partner. Be grateful if you're still a chance. Even if you're a busy person, you're a busy person. It doesn't matter. Cheating is bad. Cheating is not good. Cheating is bad. But I'm not the only one who can tell you what I'm doing. I'm just a person who can tell me what I'm doing. It's just you. If you're a person, you're a legit person. I don't want you to do anything. At first, you're still a processing person. What's your emotion? What's your problem? I'm just like you. I'm just like you. I'm just like you. And if I'm just like you, can you explain what happened before you do that? What triggers you to do that? Or what happened after you do that? I'm just a bit shy. I'm not really good at what I'm doing. I'm just like you. I'm just like you. I'm just like you. I don't know why I'm not good at what I'm doing. Because I know that I'm just like you. I'm just like you. I'm just like you. I'm just like you. For me to be strong, I had to act as a psychologist as far as I can. And then, after that, I was just like you. I was just like you. You were just like you. Because I was just like you. I was just like you. And then, I just wanted to do that. Or I wanted to do that. I wanted to do that. I wanted to do that. I wanted to do that. I was just like you. kaya tanong goi niya sa buhay mo, ba sa protectahan mo lang yung image niya. Nata-tanggapang is poros akit, por bullshit, por toxicity. The more you na pina-patawad mo ang isang tao, the more you na mo babawasan, yung pag-mama hal mo. Sataw na yan. Every time you forgive, you love them a little less. Nga upos ng nga upos ng nga upos ng nga upos. Kasi, may ako naman tayong good shits, merding bad shits. What I'm talking about is, yung mga shits na magpapagro is a relationship. Sa nga naya, is a relationship. So, yung mga nagpapagro lang, the more you forgive them, mas na guguru-relay-susip. Pero, may mga shits na bad. Like, bad shits hindi siya acceptable kung pag-ka para isipin, or para ikonsudir na pag-kameles isang relationship and including na yun, yung cheating, kasi ama na yung cheating gong. It will never be an acceptable mistake. Kasi hindi naman, terkishya mistake. It's a choice. It was a choice. They know what they did. Mga ganong klasing, kabiigan ang kailangan mo, kasi sila mag-erimain sa yung hindi ba yung totoong ngayari sa life mo, kasi like I said, whenever we are loving someone, we try to create this world full of our imbibos. Snong time na yun. But, if you just listen, if you just try to listen sa kanila, or maybe sa sarili mo, lalong lalong sa sarili mo, if you try to listen, dear own voice, dear, dear heart and dear mind, if you try to choose yourself this time, you will soon realize na. O nga nung, nga pa katangalang ako, nga. Par example, yung parents, what if yung parents ng partner mo, tinatolerit nila kasi? You know, do not try to justify cheating pa, kasi feature to justify cheating, then maybe your cheater. De ba? So, important, it's a wrong mo yung mo hy mo with people, magpaparimain sa yung uani yung reality, and never nang tao-tolerit naman nga bagay naganya, never nang tao-tolerit naman shits, and lalo lang nana sa ganyana cheating, kasi, once yung gachiited on, it will be a long, long process for you to heal, and I admit, my aron na, okay ako, but my aron na, not okay, kato nat-kani na, and the reason why I'm recording this is because something trigger-ny, nag pa-imotional sa nang, nag pa-imotional sa kanyana, I cried, kasi ay iso a video na, umi-iyak ni-baba, kasi nag-chits sa kani-in partner niya. Nong napanod ka yon, para ang bumalit lang yung feeling ko na, kina-quasian ko yung worst ko, or, like, yung may pagkukulang ba, or, like, yung suaburan sa kiet, na, nakatulala nalang, para ang suaburan amtimo, hindi mo alam ko ng gagawin mo rein, hindi mo alam ko ngayos yung mupa-babi, bige mo nanchans, or maki-ke pa yung walaikana, kasi, like I said, ka pag na-situation ka na yon, legit, amtiyong mind mo, amtika in every aspect of your self, you are empty. And that's what you can do, if you treat on someone. So, please, don't be a cheater. No matter, kung ganokalala ang temptation, and kung merong mga nga ayasayo, then just ignore them, do you? If you truly love that person, why hurt them? Why hurt that person? Why cheat? Why not be honest? Why need to lie? Please, I want you to not talk to your partner mo na, or like, wag mo nang kaosapen, kung mag-baba-baba, kasi in reality, or like, in most cases, they will always say, "Yes, mag-baba-bago, mag-bago-bago, but in reality, hindi-hindi-hira-pan sila. Kasi toto-to-oy si nabi-nilana, once again wani-nilayang, pa-ulit, pa-ulit, pa-ulit, pa-ulit, ulit-ulit nilayang gagawin." Once a cheater-alvis a cheater, maybe it's true. 'Cause, eh, kasi, kasi ko lang-marie, lahis mo na. I want you to not think of your partner first. I want you to think of yourself first. Because that's what I did. So, hindi-kaya ng puso-ko na mga-iwan na tao, kasi parang, that's not me. Pa-rang, how can I live someone, I know what it feels like, nama-iwan. So, it's hard for me to do something sa buhay ko ng kasi. Hindi-shah about sa pag-mama-hal-ne. Sila-na-yong gumawan ang shitsa-buhay mo, and I want you to realize, if you try to end that relationship, you are not a bad person. You will never be a bad person if you try to end your relationship with that someone that hurt you in the first place. Kasi, kasi, you just listen to yourself, eh, you just, you know, learned to value yourself. And, hindi-yong, hindi-kas basura para lang polit-ulit ita pon sa mo-dong puno ng negative things or puno ng bullshit, hindi-yong kaganoan, dapatinalag ang gumatutukang mahaling niya sa rili mo, matutukang makita yung worth mo. And, I know, it will never be an easier process to see your worth, kasi means, hindi-yong, hirapan din tayo, makita, or, realize, yung totto-onatang worth in order for us to take care of ourselves and have boundaries, or to know our limits. But, it's a must, it's a must, for everyone, to realize your worth, to know your worth, so that, you know what to do, when things like this happen in your life. What if, what if, what if, not so sorry, because, you're just a bully. If you're not a bully, sorry, if you're not a bully, you're just a human, you're just a bug, you realize, you're just a bug. Summary:

FAQs

Cheating, also called infidelity, is the act of being unfaithful to a spouse or partner, typically involving sexual or romantic relations with someone else, and breaking a commitment or promise.

The five types are sexual infidelity, emotional infidelity, romantic infidelity, intellectual infidelity, and cyber cheating or digital cheating.

Emotional infidelity is forming a strong emotional bond or attachment with someone other than your partner, where you feel more secure, protected, or happy with that person.

Cyber cheating, or digital cheating, occurs through social media, texts, or online platforms, such as exchanging pictures, videos, or chatting, without physical meetings.

No, cheating is never an accident; it is a choice. No reason, such as past trauma or family history, justifies cheating.

If given a chance, don't rush your partner. Be grateful, patient, and allow time for trust to rebuild, as broken trust takes time to heal.
