442: KJ Biermann: Sex Crimes, Deeply Disturbing Videos and a Secret Trip
76m 20s
The case of KJ Bierman, a 15-year-old son of reality TV stars Kim Zolciak and Croy Bierman, has erupted into national attention following serious allegations of sexual misconduct. In April 2026, KJ was accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl at a gym in Alpharetta, Georgia, after she reported being forced into oral sex and digital penetration despite saying no. The case intensified when investigators discovered videos on KJ’s phone showing him engaging in sexual conduct with a family member under 12, including the use of degrading language. This revelation, disclosed during a September 2026 bond hearing, revealed a long-standing pattern of abuse that dates back to at least 2023. KJ had previously been placed under court supervision since October 2025, but no prior adjudication had been made public. His defense argues he is a minor in ongoing development, citing academic and athletic achievements, while prosecutors stress the predatory nature of the acts and the victim’s trauma. The case is further complicated by the family’s reality TV presence, which has created a public image of a perfect, affluent household that starkly contrasts with the allegations. Kim and Croy have publicly denied the claims, claiming their son is innocent and criticizing the victim’s credibility. Despite legal efforts to keep the case private, the exposure of a history of abuse—especially involving minors and family members—has fueled public outrage and raised serious questions about parental oversight, child safety, and the accountability of high-profile families. The case underscores the danger of glamorized family narratives and the potential for abuse to go undetected for years.
Kim Zolciak and Croy Bierman's normal turned upside down.
This isn't his first time with sexual battery.
Do you want him to be out on bond right now?
What would you say to the judge about it?
Her 15-year-old son, Croy Jr., arrested for sexual battery.
And while she might be used to having the camera zoomed in on her private affairs,
I will tell you right now, nothing could have prepared her for something like this.
Hey, true crime besties.
Welcome back to an all-new episode of Serialist League.
Hello, hello, hello, and welcome back to an all-new episode of Serialist League
with me, your host, Annie Elise.
All right, guys, I have no choice, okay?
I swear.
Normally, we. We are not ever at a crossroads between pop culture and true crime.
There very rarely is an intersection.
However, this case, I couldn't not talk about.
I talked about it briefly in Headline Highlights last week on Thursday.
I knew I needed to do the deep dive because so much more information has come out.
And it's the case of KJ Bierman.
I don't even know where to begin with this.
I have been researching this for the last several days.
Going through court documents, talking with people, going through old archival.
And this has got to be one of the more disturbing cases that I have covered in a very long time.
Especially, not only because of the existing current allegations and what's going on
and why this whole situation was brought to the forefront,
but because of all the background history, the pattern, the past allegations, the outcries.
There's so much.
So it is one of those episodes where there is going to be a cross-pollination
between people who either love pop culture or hate it and the traditional true crime.
Because this absolutely is a true crime case
and is more appalling than a lot of the true crime cases that we talk about.
It's just. It's unbelievable.
Now, for those of you who are not in the pop culture universe,
who don't watch Bravo or reality TV or Housewives,
or any of that,
I'm going to give you the backstory.
Because you may not have any sort of idea at all who KJ Bierman is.
And there is a lot of backstory that I believe is very important context to know
while getting into this case.
And especially when we start going into the patterns, the dynamics, the relationships,
and all of that.
So KJ Bierman is a 15-year-old boy who is best known as being the son of Kim Zolciak.
Kim Zolciak is best known for being. She was on Real Housewives of Atlanta for, gosh, nearly a decade.
She also was married to former NFL player, Kroy Bierman.
And even if you don't watch Housewives,
I would imagine you've seen clips of her on social media over the years,
whether it's on the couch at one of the Housewives reunions
where Nene is yelling at her,
close your legs to married men.
Or when they say like, buy wig, because she wears wigs.
Or there's one where she's like drinking Pinot Grigio in her car,
playing.
A, I guess it was a CD at the time, or maybe an iPod, I don't know,
of a song that she was singing on.
Don't be tardy for the party.
Whoa, don't be tardy for the party.
She's had like a lot of memorable moments over the last two decades, really.
And she got her start by being on Housewives of Atlanta.
So she was one of the original castmates too.
And I believe she started in 2008.
And this show, it's a reality show, you know.
I'm sure you know.
Real Housewives, you've heard of it.
It's on Bravo.
And she was on the show for five seasons.
During those five seasons, she pursued a music career.
She had that song I just sang to you, Tardy for the Party, in 2009,
which became like a mega viral hit.
Not because I think people were ever listening to it in a serious way,
but more kind of like Luann from Housewives of New York.
She has the like, what is it?
Chic, c'est la vie.
C'est bon, or I don't even, whatever.
I don't want to lose you if you're not a Housewife fan.
But my point is that she was getting all this notoriety,
all of this fame, all of this attention in 2008, 2009,
while she was on this hit show.
And then in May 2010, Kim met Croy.
He was playing for the Atlanta Falcons at the time.
And the two of them met at a charity event called Dancing with Atlanta Stars.
Their first meeting was actually featured on season three of the Housewives of Atlanta 2.
And very quickly, they hit it off.
They started dating right away.
It was like, at first,
this romance that I think all of us as viewers were rooting for.
It seemed like they were in love.
They couldn't keep their hands off each other.
They wanted to have so many kids with one another.
And it seemed like this all-American, perfect love story.
Come to find out, it was a nightmare just waiting to boil over and reach a tipping point.
And it's also worth mentioning, at the time that they started dating,
Kim already had two daughters from past relationships.
So then, just three months after meeting,
Kim became pregnant with their first child together.
And on May 31st, 2011, she gave birth to their son,
Croy Jagger K.J. Bierman, otherwise known as K.J. for short.
The two of them later married that year on November 11th.
Together, they had three more children.
Cash Cade was born in 2012.
And then twins, Kaya Rose and Kane Wren, were born in 2013.
So in total, six children.
Croy also adopted Kim's two older children.
Kim's two older daughters, the ones that she had previously going into the relationship,
Brielle and Ariana, officially making them a part of the family as well.
So like I said, in the beginning years, it seemed like this was couple goals,
family goals, this beautiful blended family,
this man who was really young at the time they got married.
He was 26 when they got married, and Kim was 33.
And he was stepping into this fatherly role, adopting the two older daughters.
They were calling him dad.
They had all these children of their own together.
Again, just this beautiful,
blended family.
And from the outside looking in, seemed perfect.
And everybody was captivated by them.
So much so that the couple's entire relationship was documented in a spinoff show that Bravo produced
called Don't Be Tardy.
And it was a spinoff of Housewives of Atlanta, which in this show, it featured Kim, Croy,
their growing family, their daily activities, kind of the crazy circus that went on within
their house.
Kim always having a solo cup with what appeared to be wine in her confessional.
Croy going into retirement from his NFL career, Kim's departure from Real Housewives, and
just a glimpse into the everyday lives of them as this growing family.
And the series really gave viewers an inside look at not only their marriage and their
family life, but everything that came with raising their children in the public eye.
The show was also very well received by Bravo fans, and it lasted for eight seasons before
ultimately ending in 2020.
So think about that.
She was on television for 12 years.
12 years consecutively, multiple shows, her kids also on television, some of them being
raised from birth on television, kind of like the Kardashians in a sense, right?
Just being exposed to that from a very young age, and especially for the older girls because
they were in their adolescent years when she first came on to reality TV.
However, despite how perfect everything looked, in 2023, Kim and Croy legally separated, and
both of them filed for divorce.
Now, what has followed since 2023 has been a bitter, ongoing legal battle, very messy,
bad body cam footage, drag out fights, smear campaigns in the press, this estranged couple
trading claims over their finances, their assets, their debts, and also the serious
financial strain that they were facing at times.
And I don't remember the exact number, but at times, allegations, and I think actually
admissions as well, where Kim. Kim took Ariana's money, her daughter's money that she made from being on the show, and
spent it because they were in so much credit card debt, and because they were trying to
keep up their lifestyle.
They lived in this huge mansion in Atlanta, designer cars, designer bags, glam every other
day, all of these things to where she was using her children's money to bankroll that.
Now, in some states, there are laws in place that hopefully curb that or prevent that,
but just, I could go on and on and on about the background here.
But I just want to give you a sense of who this family was and what their upbringing was like.
Very affluent, very much in the limelight, a lot of celebrity, the best events, glamorized,
just this cookie cutter family that people loved and felt was aspirational and everybody wanted to
be. And like I said, I could go on and on about that all day long, and what was really going down
within that family, and how it was all smoke and mirrors, and how there was financial trouble,
cheating, allegations.
All sorts of things, but that's not what today's case is about.
It's about KJ, and it's about KJ's actions.
But I think it's very important that you at least know that background going into it.
What was the argument about?
Our life!
Our life!
And it's fucking destroyed!
Why is it getting so heated?
Because our life is destroyed!
What don't you understand?
There's no money!
There's no house!
SHE WANTS
We're getting divorced one day and we're not the next.
She's fucking other men.
What do you want?
Just calm down.
Calm down?
But I don't have a fucking life.
And I don't have somebody who won't fucking listen to me.
Calm down.
Oh, calm down.
You want to live this motherfucker?
You wouldn't have lasted for a year.
So despite all of those other legal battles that they've been facing over the last several years,
their biggest legal issue has just begun.
And that is the one involving 15-year-old KJ Bierman.
In August of 2026, he was arrested and later indicted by a Fulton County grand jury
on seven different felony counts.
Counts including aggravated sodomy, aggravated sexual battery,
aggravated child molestation, and false imprisonment.
And let me just say, for a grand jury to indict you on seven felony counts,
there has got to be, in my opinion, a lot of evidence to support that.
That's it.
But if that isn't even disturbing enough, things get even darker.
During a September 11th bond hearing,
the prosecutors revealed a whole separate allegation involving KJ.
And that is what has really brought this case to the front of everybody's screens,
going viral everywhere.
And I'm going to talk about everything,
not only the past allegation that I know some of you are interested in learning more about,
because I have done the deep dive,
but also what has brought him to being in the courtroom in the first place.
Because this girl,
needs justice as well.
Now, trigger warning, because this is incredibly heavy.
It is very disturbing to hear about.
But investigators had previously found videos on KJ's cell phone
that allegedly showed him engaging in sexual activity with a family member
who was under the age of 12 years old.
Now, obviously, this case is drawing a lot of attention
because things are starting to feel very dark, disturbing,
but also kind of like Duggar-ish, if you're familiar with that,
family, the Duggar family.
Another family who grew up on reality television,
however, was more religious.
They were Mormons.
And as far as I know,
I don't think that the Beermans practice any sort of religion,
but there was a lot of inappropriate incestual activity
between younger family members.
That resulted in some of the siblings being sent off to camps,
you know, the camps where they try to like pray it out of you
or correct you and do all those things.
Then some of them being,
actually charged and convicted and just a mess.
So everybody was hearing about these allegations with KJ
from this incident that happened back in the spring of 2026
with this other girl who is not a family member.
But then while he's facing the court systems for that incident,
the bombshell drops of,
oh, well, actually not for nothing.
But when we were looking through his phone,
we also found videos of him having sex with a family member
who was under the age of 12.
So immediately hearing that,
everybody's alarms started going off
red flags waving everywhere of like,
who is the family member?
What is going on?
Is this related?
And there's just so much to get into with that.
And like I said,
felt very reminiscent of the Duggar family
because you now have these incredibly serious allegations
that paint a very different picture of the family dynamic
and the values within the family that were displayed on TV.
Remember, everybody wanted to be this family.
Everybody looked up to them.
They were going to all the events.
They had everything together.
They looked like the perfect blended family.
Croy had adopted.
The girls.
And now you're finding out like,
oh, wait, getting a little bit of a peek behind the curtain.
It's actually very sinister and dark
of what was going on inside that house.
So as you guys know,
when I do these real-time cases,
what I like to do is I have my notes right here with me.
I do a deep dive and walk you through everything
that I can possibly find
so that you are fully caught up on everything that we know.
Not only from the incident itself,
the backstory and where it's going.
That way I can keep you updated in real time.
So with that,
with that being said,
I want to start with the timeline of events
that really took KJ from being this very promising D1 football prospect
to now facing a potential minimum of 25 years in prison
if convicted as an adult.
Now what first catapulted this whole case into everybody's feed
and everybody's on everybody's radar
is the incident that happened on April 23rd of 2026.
Because this is when the first alleged incident with KJ
occurred in a family changing area
at 11 a.m.
Lifetime Fitness Center in Alpharetta, Georgia.
And I don't know if everybody has lifetime gyms.
I don't know if they are super chain and common everywhere.
We have quite a few of them in California.
Obviously there are some in Georgia as well.
But it's these, I would say newer aged gyms
where people like to go there as influencers.
They have a lot of perks too for adults,
daycare centers, juice bars, a rooftop pool at some of them.
And they're more of these like,
I don't want to say elite, but nice.
It's not like your run-of-the-mill,
what's the purple one?
Planet Fitness.
Not that that's shade of Planet Fitness.
I love Planet Fitness, but you get what I mean.
So according to court documents,
the girl told officials that while she was in this co-ed family changing area
leading into the sauna,
KJ allegedly continued to sexually assault her
despite her saying no.
She alleged that he repeatedly tried to pull down her pants,
forced oral sex,
and digitally penetrated her before she was able to,
eventually get away.
She said KJ then just pulled up his pants and he left.
Which think about that.
This 15-year-old girl is with KJ,
who is also 15 years old,
thinking that they're friends,
they're having fun,
they're at the gym together,
to where then he allegedly isolates her,
traps her,
imprisons her under legal standards,
false imprisonment,
forces himself on her,
and takes his fingers,
forcing them inside of her,
when she's saying no.
And also then forces allegedly oral sex
and just basically his person on her.
Now court documents state that KJ did not scan into the gym that day,
although security footage allegedly showed him inside of the gym.
The girl, who like I said, was 15 years old at the time,
described herself as KJ's girlfriend's best friend.
And she said that she didn't tell anyone about the alleged assault immediately.
That she was ashamed.
That she was embarrassed.
And that's not uncommon for even adult women
to not confide in somebody about the assault immediately.
No less, a 15-year-old girl,
who I would imagine is still grappling with trying to understand what just happened to her.
Ironically enough though,
that same day,
KJ had commented on his girlfriend's TikTok video saying,
I love you and putting a heart emoji.
Now his girlfriend,
who I'm just going to refer to as the girlfriend
so that her name isn't put out there on blast more than it already is,
plus she's,
she responded saying,
I love you more.
Then the next day,
this 15-year-old girl was about to leave school to go to Starbucks
and she encountered KJ's girlfriend,
who also is her best friend.
In that moment,
she apparently experienced a panic attack and she contacted her family.
And the details are a little bit murky,
but it appears that's when she confided in her family
what had happened to her and what she had experienced.
So she was later examined at North Fulton Hospital.
And this was one day,
after the alleged incident on April 24th.
According to the police report from that day,
the exam found no male DNA in her mouth or vagina,
which just to be clear though,
the absence of male DNA is something that,
yeah, the defense is now emphasizing heavily,
but that by itself,
it doesn't prove that an assault did or didn't happen.
She could have showered.
It could have washed away.
It could have not been a trace amount.
There are a multitude of reasons,
or why DNA may not have been found a full day later.
So police continued investigating,
and they first attempted to contact KJ's father,
Croy, Kim's husband,
on May 14th.
They spoke with him four days later,
and he said that he would discuss with Kim
whether the police could speak with their son.
Because again,
the son is a minor.
However,
through all of my research,
it doesn't appear that at that point,
or in the months that followed,
that they ever spoke with KJ,
or that there was,
any sort of conversation with anyone.
Maybe that's because their investigation
was still ongoing behind the scenes.
But the first thing that we see actual record of
is three months later,
on August 17th,
when KJ was arrested.
And when he was arrested,
he was initially charged with aggravated sodomy
and aggravated sexual battery.
He was also held without bond
at Atlanta's Metro Regional Youth Detention Center.
So it seemed like the whole thing went from zero to a hundred
pretty quickly.
Nobody in the media had really been reporting on
KJ's allegations or any of that prior to the arrest as well.
I would imagine because it wasn't public knowledge,
because it's two minors who were involved.
So really,
August 17th,
when he was arrested,
was the first time that anybody really heard about
these deeply disturbing allegations
and what was going on.
And by August 21st of 2026,
news of the arrest fully became public,
and KJ ended up being arraigned before a court judge.
However,
KJ's attorney,
Jason Sheffield,
has pushed him out of court.
He pushed very strongly back against these allegations,
saying in a statement that his client is 100% innocent.
He claimed that KJ tried to provide the arresting officer
with evidence supporting his innocence,
including a past polygraph exam
that was conducted by what he described as
a respected sex offender polygraph examiner,
but that the arresting officer
didn't want to hear anything about it.
And here's what I find interesting then.
There is no paper trail of communications
from the arresting officer.
that call it three month period, right?
Why did he go get it?
had a polygraph test. Was it ever ordered? Did he do that willingly because he knew that these
allegations had been filed by this girl? Why would he say he went to a offender polygraph examinator
unless he was just trying to give more credibility to his results, I guess, possibly? But where did
this whole polygraph come into play and why did he get it and was it independently done? Did they
know he was going to be arrested eventually and so they wanted to have it on hand as some sort of
proof to combat the allegations? I don't know. He also claimed that there was evidence of previous
false allegations involving this alleged victim, saying she has lied about people before, she has
made false outcries in the past, she's a liar, it's not true, you know, here's my polygraph to prove it.
Which, smearing the alleged victim, that's a tale as old as time, right? How many times have we heard
that and how many times are we going to hear that in the future? His defense attorney had also pointed
back to that police report, the one which noted that the investigators found no male DNA in the
areas where the girl alleged that she was assaulted. More specifically, on her person or in her person.
But again, just because there's not male DNA 24 hours or so after an alleged incident,
that doesn't really mean much, at least not to me. So he called KJ's arrest and detention without
bond a, quote, tragedy, and he emphasized that his client is presumed innocent.
He ultimately asked the public not to assume the allegations are true and to respect the privacy
of both families while the case moves forward. KJ's mom, Kim Zolciak, also pushed back against
these allegations, calling them reckless and deeply troubling, saying that her son categorically
denies knowing the girl or engaging in the conduct that she described. Kim also claimed that KJ
voluntarily took that polygraph exam regarding the allegations and that he passed it. She also
pointed to an exam that, according to her, is not true. found no DNA belonging to KJ. She further claimed that they were aware of the similar
allegations involving two other people, the false outcries that KJ's defense attorney apparently
brought up, and said that those claims raised concerns and that they should be carefully
investigated. She stressed that false accusations can have devastating consequences, not only for
the person accused, but also for genuine survivors of sexual assault and abuse. Which, she's not wrong
in that. False accusations, that is a ripple effect that negatively affects many, many people. And I
also understand her wanting to be the mom in all of this, protect her son, say there's no credence
to any of these allegations. We've supplied the proof in the polygraph that he's not lying. This
girl has an alleged history of false reportings. She can't be trusted and trying to do right by
her son. I do get that to a point, but I also have to say, as she was describing in some of her
statements,
that this 15-year-old victim had allegedly lied in the past, she was calling her a woman, being like,
the woman has lied before, the woman this, the woman that. And I'm like, this is a 15-year-old
girl. She is not a woman. So don't try to diminish these allegations by putting woman in there as
though this is not a child that this is happening to. I get wanting to protect your son and putting
a statement out there as a public person to do just that, but also have a little bit of tact
and respect for the allegation.
Now, in the same breath as her defending KJ and also saying, you know, there can be devastating
consequences for false accusations, she also said legitimate allegations should be taken
seriously and they should be investigated based on evidence, while emphasizing that no one should
publicly be condemned based solely on an accusation alone. Kim concluded by saying that the family was
confident that the facts and evidence would establish the truth. And she asked people to
let the legal process go. She said,
rather than spreading unproven allegations, which, okay, fair. Now, in the immediate aftermath of
everything that was going on, Kim and Croy were seen together in what appeared to be, in my
opinion, a very staged photo shoot, almost as if they were trying to present a united front. A
family that is still together through thick and thin, will always have each other's back, and
we're standing by our son. Which, honestly, it was kind of surprising considering how incredibly
messy their family was. And I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. divorce battle has been. And the fact that Croy is now dating the estranged wife of Kim's boyfriend.
Kind of like a Shania Twain split. You know, when they split and then they both started dating each
other's spouses, that's what's going on here. Croy is apparently dating the estranged wife of Kim's
new boyfriend. So now, seeing them seemingly standing together in solidarity definitely raised
some eyebrows. Especially given everything that has happened between them. Because like I said,
I'm not going into the whole backstory of that marriage, but within these last three years and
the divorce, there have been restraining orders, TROs, body cam footage of house visits with police
where one of them doesn't want the other person taking certain belongings and smear campaigns in
the media and just mudslinging to the nth degree. It has been beyond messy. So now seeing them arm
in arm of, we've got this, while they're also dating each other's partners in a sense, it's like,
what the hell is going on? What in the Jerry Springer is going on here? Now, since the news
broke, Croy, the father, has largely maintained a low profile and also hasn't spoken publicly about
the allegations. However, he was recently spotted picking up his other son, Cash, from football
practice, appearing very stressed and just like very glued to his phone. And then just this last
week, he was seen at a local church with his new girlfriend. However, Kim, on the other hand,
she appears to be carrying on,
business as usual, life as usual. She was recently seen celebrating her daughter Brielle's bridal
shower ahead of her upcoming wedding to a minor league baseball player, which that event took
place just days after KJ's first court appearance. But in attendance was Kim, Kim's mom, her other
daughters, Ariana and Kaya. And again, this family is very much the cameras, the glam, the curated
photos. Kim, particularly.
No shade. I use a filter every now and then. She FaceTunes almost every single photo out there,
just carefully crafting the perfect image to display to the public. Now, obviously, we can't
know what either parent is feeling privately based on these appearances alone and based on
these photos alone. But publicly, they certainly seem to be handling the situation in very different
ways. Kim, business as usual, glam as usual. Croy, visibly stressed and also going to church.
So at the time of this happening, KJ's arrest and Kim's statement and the defense attorney's
statement, nobody knew that a grand jury was meeting and nobody knew just how bad this was
going to get. Not only with what the grand jury came back with, but the other layer of allegations
that were found on the phone, which don't worry, I'm going to get into all of that shortly here.
But my point is that at the time of the arrest and the statements, there was still some public
question as to what happened here. What is the situation?
Who's telling the truth? Who's lying? What really happened inside that gym? What's going on? Is there
any sort of shred of doubt, given that he did pass a polygraph exam, given that the family is standing
by him, given that there are reportedly false allegations in the past? Again, not verified.
This is all reported. So people didn't really know, okay, how serious is this? That's the
question that everybody was asking. Well, just when they thought that things couldn't get any worse,
they didn't. So they didn't know what was going on. They didn't know what was going on. They definitely did. Because on September 3rd, 2026, a Fulton County
grand jury indicted KJ on those seven felony charges, including aggravated child molestation,
aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, false imprisonment, and three counts of sexual
battery against a child under 16 years old. And again, for a grand jury to indict you on all of
that, I don't care if there was no male DNA retrieved. There surely is plenty of evidence
for them to come to that conclusion for seven felony counts. So now, once that bomb was dropped,
there wasn't a question, I don't think, in anybody's mind of, oh, this is serious. There's
got to be a lot more to this than we are hearing. But then, less than a week later, on September 8th,
defense attorneys filed a motion asking to move the case from adult superior court to juvenile
court, which by doing this, it's a strategy because it not only would avoid an adult prison sentence,
but it would also keep the proceedings more confidential because both of them are minors
and because he wouldn't be being tried as an adult. In the filing, KJ's attorney described
him as a 15-year-old high school student in good standing, someone who demonstrated strong
academic achievement and regularly participated in extracurricular and community activities.
He also said that KJ was an accomplished football player who had received scholarship offers based
on his athletic ability. Because like I said, he was like a D1, he was like a D2, he was like a D3,
player. Scouts, I guess, were looking at him. He was offered a lot of opportunity, but that also
doesn't mean that he's not capable of a crime like this. And that's kind of where I take a lot of
issue. I get a defense attorney has to put on his defense, but for him to, in his filing, be like,
he has a strong academic history. He's a great athlete. He's being scouted. Who cares? That has
nothing to do with what these allegations are about. How many times have we seen a star athlete
or otherwise behave like this? Brock Turner. There's another Brock that was recently on a
status, their influence, their athletic stardom is a get out of jail free card, and that it gives
them a pass to do whatever they want, touch whoever they want, and act however they want.
So this kind of pisses me off in the filing, that he's trying to cite his academic and athletic
career as some sort of mark in his innocence or his, you know, or in his, you know, character.
He also argued that KJ is, quote, an adolescent whose development is ongoing.
And this was really important to emphasize, because the aggravated charges, especially as
an adult, those carry a mandatory minimum sentence of 25 years in prison without the possibility of
parole. But again, that's if you're convicted as an adult of the aggravated charges. So he's trying
to say, he's an adolescent, he's still developing, he's young, don't charge,
him as an adult. Look, if you're going to do the adult crime, you got to do the adult time,
at least in my opinion. So they were pushing back on this hard, yet it was getting darker and darker
by the day. But they're trying to get him as a juvenile, not an adult, trying to fight back,
having him released on his own recognizance, all of these things. Then on Friday, September 11th,
2026, after a bond hearing in Fulton County, the judge granted KJ a $200,000 bond. Now his release
conditions required him to stay at his home, but he was not allowed to leave his home. So he was
his mom's house, attend school virtually, have no cell phone or social media use, wear a GPS ankle
monitor, surrender his passport to his attorney, and have no contact with the alleged victim. He
also was not allowed to have any contact with any individual under 16 years old, which meant that if
he stayed with his mom, Kim, he couldn't even be around his siblings. And that kind of perked
everybody's ears up a little bit, piquing their interest to be like, why wouldn't he be allowed
to be around his kids? I understand the boundary of he's not to have any contact with his alleged
victim, but is it because they just think he's a danger to society, even his own family? Like,
what's going on here? Well, sure enough, during the hearing, the deputy district attorney dropped
a major bombshell in the courtroom. She stated that KJ had previously been charged with a serious
sexual offense involving a victim under 16 years old. And that is something that had not been
previously reported until this hearing.
Nobody knew about that. Everybody thought that it was this one-off incident with this girl in the
gym, which, not to diminish that or make light of that, but nobody knew that there was a history and
that there was a pattern here. So this was a huge bombshell. Like, what do you mean he has a past
history with somebody under 16 and that there's another sexual offense that involved another
victim? Well, she revealed to the court that investigators had
previously found videos on KJ's
cell phone that allegedly showed him engaging in sexual conduct with a family member who was under
12 years old at the time. Let that sink in for a moment. They're now dropping this whole other
separate allegation of a sexual offense against someone under 16. Saying even more than that,
they found video proof in his cell phone that he was engaging in sexual conduct with a minor
under 12 years old who also,
happens to be a family member. And they didn't say relative, they didn't say distant relative,
they didn't say third party, they said family member. Apparently, investigators found, quote,
multiple encounters on this device. And they alleged that while KJ was filming these interactions,
he used predatory and derogatory language toward the victim. Now, what that language is, we don't
know. Maybe calling them a bitch, a slut, a this or that, we don't know. But because of that, she said
KJ had been under court supervision since October of 2025 following that earlier case, which she said
had first been reported back in 2023, which we're going to get to the math of all of this in a
second. Because if you're like me and you're like, wait, so in 2025, the victim was under 12 years
old, but it was reported in 2023. That means they were even younger. I'm going to break it down for
you in just a moment here. Now, KJ's attorney also spoke to the court and they described the
situation as deeply traumatizing for his client. He said that KJ is a quiet kid and he asked the
judge to release him on $65,000 bond, arguing that Kim could monitor him at home. I think he
even chalked it up to it at one point. And I have the exact quote in my notes, and I'll get to that
in a minute, but saying, oh, it's just bad behavior between middle school aged kids. Uh, no, I'm
these kind of acts with a family member, no less on his phone while being under the age of 12,
possibly even younger. So as his attorney was fighting for him being like, well, KJ is also
deeply traumatized by this. Please release him to Kim $65,000 bond. The prosecutors were obviously
strongly disagreeing. And they told the judge that the victim in the earlier sexual battery and
sodomy case had suffered documented physical injuries. And they described the alleged incident
as predatory. So they asked him to release him on $65,000 bond. And they described the alleged
that KJ's bond be set at $190,000. A statement from the April 23rd victim was also then read out
loud in court with the victim asking the judge to consider her safety before deciding whether
to release KJ or not. She said that she had been quote, living in fear because of alleged threats
that KJ would come after her if he were released. She also said that the situation has also affected
her family with relatives receiving emails and phone calls. And she made it very clear that
the possibility of KJ being released was frightening to her. Which of course it is.
Not only is this your alleged predator and abuser who could potentially be released and
intimidate you, silence you, do whatever, but it's this very well-known celebrity family
who has access, polls, a fan base, all sorts of things to intimidate you, to slander you,
to come after you, more resources, even though they are in financial debt, access to resources,
it is incredibly intimidating. And I just have to say, this girl is so brave for speaking up and
speaking her truth and her allegations against this family that I believe would be
very intimidating to go against. Now during all of this, KJ remained emotionless throughout the
hearing. While his parents and his 29-year-old sister Brielle sat there in the courtroom gallery,
they also dressed like they were going to a funeral,
I don't know if that was intentional to try to get the sympathy of the public by wearing all black,
but still head-to-toe glam, felt very curated, very PR, just did not sit right with me.
Kim appeared to be quote, stone-faced, while Croy sat in the row in front of them appearing stressed.
So again, behavior that also kind of aligns with their earlier public sightings before all of this
came to a head. So the judge was initially expected to make her decision on KJ's release this last Monday.
However, she did make the ruling after that Friday hearing, meaning that he was granted bond,
but because of the financial hardships that Kim and Croy are facing, they had to figure out how
to come up with that higher dollar amount, $200,000, rather than the $65,000, which usually
you still only need to post 10% to the bail bondsman, but still that's $20,000 that you
would have to come up with versus $6,500. So there's also no confirmation at the time of this
recording that he is meeting all of his conditions, that he is being checked in on, and all of that
that goes with that. Now, I know that that was a lot to take in, in and of itself, even independently
of everything else we are about to get into. But now that we have gone through all of those case
details, I need to start unpacking some of the allegations and the speculation that is surrounding
everything. And just keep in mind as we move forward, what we're about to discuss, it is
purely speculation at this point. None of these claims have been confirmed. So I'm going to
so that there is no mistake as far as what is speculation being fact. And I want to start with
that 2023 incident, the one involving a family member and the videos that were found on KJ's
phone. What I can confirm is that KJ had reportedly been under court supervision
since October of 2025. This was following the alleged incident involving the unnamed family
member, which prosecutors said was originally reported back in April of 2023. During that
investigation, law enforcement reportedly found the videos on KJ's cell phone that allegedly showed
him engaging in sexual activity with a family member under the age of 12. Naturally, a lot of
people are now wondering who this family member could be, especially because there appears to be
a few hints that have led people to speculate about this person's identity. Some people have
pointed to KJ's sister, Kaya, while others believe that it could potentially be one of his brothers.
Now, none of this has been confirmed, and I
want to make that distinction very clear. Prosecutors have only publicly described the
person as a family member and a family member under the age of 12. That could theoretically
mean any relative. However, I will say this. Both Kim and Croy are kind of known from the reality
show documenting their lives to be estranged from their families. Not speaking with the
close with, and very much isolated on an island. Now, does that
mean that they don't still have contact with some random family here or there? No, certainly not.
We don't know everything. But for the last decade, the storyline has very much been
that they have cut off all of their family and that they only are connected within their own
little bubble. So my opinion is that the likelihood is it probably is much closer to home. However,
this is where KJ's attorney is pushing back hard on how the prosecutors characterized this prior
case. His defense attorney says that although prosecutors described these videos in court,
the earlier juvenile case did not result in KJ being adjudicated for statutory rape,
sexual intercourse, or a comparable offense. And I want to be very clear with those words.
Just because he hasn't been adjudicated for those charges or those offenses
does not mean that the allegations didn't surface and that there wasn't any truth to
the allegations. And again, I'm saying allegations because we don't know for sure one way or another
yet because yes, the truth is it has not been adjudicated. But that is why his defense attorney
is very carefully crafting his language here. Not to say he's never been accused or involved
or anything like that. He's saying he's never been adjudicated for them, meaning it has never
gone through a trial and he has never been found guilty or not guilty. Further, and this
is where I get pretty disgusted, he characterized what happened as inappropriate and crude behavior
between middle school-aged children, which in my opinion, downplays it, waters it down,
and diminishes the severity and seriousness of it. And this again is something that we saw with
the Duggar case. When there was sibling-on-sibling abuse happening, the parents chopped it up to
their kids just exploring. He's going through puberty. He doesn't know what he's doing. He's
doing. We'll send him away to a camp, a church camp, get treatment, this and that, not realizing
that this is not normal behavior. This is not just normal kids kissing behind the school gym
or exploring and things. This is someone who allegedly is videoing sexual conduct with a minor
while also yelling out predatory and horrific words at this victim. That is not middle school-aged
kids exploring with crude behavior.
Not at all. However, until we actually get our hands on the juvenile petition or the disposition,
and believe me, I have been looking for it, we don't know exactly what KJ admitted to,
what was adjudicated or not, or what specifically resulted in him being placed under court
supervision. It could have been something familial that reached a resolution on its own.
It could be something different. We don't know. However, there are very clearly some details that
have people looking at the family and trying to figure out who the
prosecutors are referring to. And while I am not going to say who that person is without that
confirmation or who I even believe that person is because I believe that this victim should have
that autonomy and independence and anonymity, those hints from the public have definitely
added another disturbing layer to an already very serious case. And I want to just touch on those.
Let's start with the age of it all. Age doesn't matter here because like I mentioned earlier,
Kim and Croy have four biological children together.
KJ was born in 2011. Cash was born in 2012. And the twins, Kaya and Kane, were born in 2013.
So if prosecutors are saying that this alleged incident involving a family member was reported
in April of 2023, that would include all three of KJ's younger siblings as potential victims in this
who would have been 10 or 9 years old at the time.
Which something else that is really important to note here is KJ himself,
would have only been 11 years old when this was reported in April of 2023.
So whatever happened in that earlier case, we are talking about conduct involving children.
Now that doesn't make the allegations any less serious, not at all. But legally and
developmentally, it is extremely important context, especially if charges did or do come
from this. If there is an adult charge on the table, when you're talking about KJ who was 11
and the 11-year-old, KJ was 11 years old. So if there is an adult charge on the table,
if there is an alleged victim being 9 or 10 years old at the time, it's very complex and it's very
dark. And I want to be crystal clear when I'm saying this too. This is not another count in
the indictment that we're discussing. This is an entirely separate earlier juvenile matter.
The seven charges that KJ is currently facing, those all stem from the April 23rd, 2026
Lifetime Jim incident, while KJ was 15 years old and his alleged victim is 15 years old.
However, this does speak to pattern, to history. If he was already on court supervision and there
was already sexual misconduct, what has been going on in the home for the last five years
leading up to this? And naturally, people online immediately started trying to identify
what family member this could have been, which, like I said, I'm not going to name and I'm not
going to speculate any specific child because we are potentially talking about a minor victim of
sexual abuse in this situation. However, what we can look at is the fact that KJ has been
in the home for a long time. And I'm not claiming that these are connected in any way, but I do want
to at least illuminate them so that you can start to see what was going on inside this household
over the last five years, what the family dynamic was, and what I believe was getting either brushed
under the rug or parents choosing to mentally check out and not focus on their children. Let's
start by going back to the divorce. In late April 2023, Kim and Croy filed for legal separation,
and Croy immediately filed an emergency request for permanent physical and legal custody of the
children. At the time, he described Kim as unstable and unfit, saying that as a parent,
she's awful, and he accused her of being more concerned with her own image and career opportunities
than with the children's best interests, which that timeline is very important because that
means that the same month that Croy filed for legal separation and filed for the emergency
request for permanent physical and legal custody of the kids is the same month and year that this
sexual incident allegedly was reported. Was that the catalyst for the divorce? Did he see something,
hear something, or know something? And that's why he also petitioned to have permanent custody of
the kids, both physically and legally. I mean, we do see custody battles between husbands and
wives all the time, but I would say more times than not, it's the mom fighting for custody rather
than the father fighting for custody. I don't know why that is. Maternal instincts, maternal care,
whatever it is. And that's, again, not every case, but more times than not, it's the mom who usually
wants full custody. But in this case, Croy wanted it. And I think that that is not necessarily
telling, but an interesting detail in all of this. Also, the fact that he was describing her as
about her own image and career opportunities, not the children's best interests. Okay, Croy,
well, what proof do you have? What examples do you have? Or are you not citing those if you were
made privy to any information because you don't want to put your family in the limelight in that
sense and have all of that information blown up? Are you keeping it private with the intention of
trying to protect your family's image and privacy of your young children? Very possible. It's very
possible. But then, fast forward a few weeks, and on May 8th, 2023, Kim filed for divorce herself.
And in her filing, she requested primary physical custody and joint legal custody of the kids.
Ultimately, though, Kim did not get primary physical custody. And we don't know exactly why.
Again, all of the details very well could be sealed because they're minors involved and it's a private matter
we don't know. But something did happen to where the judge did not grant Kim primary physical custody
and the judge granted that to Croy. The judge ruled that she and Croy would continue to share
joint legal custody, but that Croy would have the final say on educational decisions, non-emergency
medical care, and religious matters. This all according to court documents. Which again, the
timing here is incredibly important because all of this happened around the same period that prosecutors are saying
the alleged incident involving a family member was reported. Then, jumping forward a couple of years
to 2025, in June, Kim's daughter Ariana spoke about the impact of Kim and Croy's bitter divorce.
This is when she appeared on Gia Giudice's podcast, who is another housewife's daughter,
Teresa Giudice, who you probably know her. She went to prison. Well, her daughter Gia has a
podcast. She's also on a new show herself, a spinoff called Next Gen NYC, where it documents all the kids of the house
wives navigating life in New York. But Ariana was a guest on her podcast and spoke out. And she said
that the family drama ultimately comes down to hurt, anger, and money. And she also pointed out
that her younger siblings have been caught in the middle of the chaos. She specifically said that
her younger sister Kaya, quote, needs to be in therapy, adding that she believes that everyone
in the family could benefit from professional help. She also claimed that her brothers have
refused to go to therapy, explaining that traditionally, they would not go to therapy
if they did not have the money. And she also claimed that her older sister Kaya, quote,
addressing the problems head on, which that kind of goes back to what I was just saying, right?
Even if Croy knew about this incident and that's what was the catalyst in him filing for divorce
and asking for primary custody, maybe he didn't air that publicly because how they have dealt with
difficult decisions over the last several years has been to stay quiet, avoid addressing the
problems in public, which here's the entire clip from that podcast interview. Take a listen.
I think that's why we all need to be in therapy.
My little sister acts crazy.
Yeah, we all need to be in therapy.
Yeah, everybody should be in therapy. I think it's great for you. I tell my brothers all the time,
they, you know, my mom is-
But it's funny because when they're also at that age, they're rebelling.
They don't.
Yeah, they rebel to therapy.
They're like, I'm not going to talk to this weirdo.
Like, why am I doing that? My brothers will sit there. My mom has their counselors for them,
has everything. They'll sit there and literally not say a damn word.
Yeah.
Nothing.
Melania was the same way.
Now, obviously those comments were made well before the current
allegations.
became public, but they have since resurfaced because of the questions surrounding KJ's
behavior and the allegations against him. And get this, a week after Ariana's episode aired,
which again was back in 2025, TMZ reported that Kim and Kroy had sent their younger daughter,
Kaya, to live with Kroy's parents in Montana. According to a parenting plan that was obtained
by TMZ, there were some pretty strict rules that were put in place for her as well.
And this was summer of 2025.
Which was right before the October 2025 court order for KJ, but also after the alleged incident.
So the plan reportedly required Kaya to stay with her grandparents for at least
three consecutive weeks, away from both her mom and dad. Then after those three weeks,
she would check in with her parents and decide whether or not she wanted to stay longer.
Which in any parenting plan that I've seen, the child is not usually the one to dictate
the restrictions and the plan.
And so part of me wonders if this plan was formulated to protect Kaya. And then ultimately,
because it says after the three weeks, she gets to decide if she wants to stay longer or not.
Kroy was also required to give Kim the contact information for his parents and his sister in
case she needed to reach Kaya. And Kaya, like I said, she wasn't being forced to stay there.
If she wanted to come home, her grandparents, per this arrangement, had to arrange for her
to return within 48 hours.
So this year, Kaya was able to stay longer. young minor girl dictating and navigating the restrictions of this parenting plan,
which is very unusual, I have to say. During her time in Montana, Kaya was also given a flip phone,
not a smartphone, not a phone with social media, a flip phone, a flip phone that she could use for
15 minute phone calls with each parent. But there was also, and this is what I find very,
very interesting in all of this, as if this plan and these rules aren't rigid enough,
there was a strict rule,
put in place saying she was not allowed to spend time around boys, boys her age in middle school
or boys in high school. She could not be around boys at all. Now, here's where I went looking for
an explanation, because admittedly, this parenting plan, it sounds unusually specific and very
bizarre. Why was Kaya the only child sent to Montana? Why was she given a flip phone instead
of a smartphone? Why did the court specifically say that she could not be left alone? Why was
she unsupervised with middle or high school aged boys? And I searched high and low for an underlying
reason. But as of right now, at the time of this recording, I cannot find one that has been
publicly reported. But I also want to be clear that there is absolutely nothing in the public
record that I have found that connects this arrangement to KJ or the earlier juvenile case
within the family that I mentioned earlier. So I don't want to make that leap and connect the two
when there is nothing that has actually physically connected the two. I want to make that leap and
public. But given what we know was happening behind the scenes with this family, I do think
that the unusual terms of the order are worth noting. Not only that she appeared to be in the
driver's seat of this plan, but just how unusually specific all of the boundaries and parameters
were. Again, none of this establishes any connection to the allegations against KJ.
But given everything that has come out since, I do think that it is an important detail
when we're looking at the family dynamics. Why was she sent away? Or
did she willingly want to leave and get away from the house for whatever reason? I also have seen
light rumblings out there that it was potentially because KJ was hyperactive, hypersexual,
a little bit of a wild child. Although I want to be very clear, that has never been verified or
proven. And also, that doesn't mean if she was acting out that that behavior wasn't stemming
from something else. So in September of 2025, Kim's oldest daughter, Bria,
also talked about KJ on another podcast. This was on the Airtime podcast. And what I thought
was interesting is she described him as someone who was already very interested in girls at a
very young age. She joked, too, about him calling her to send him money while he was out with these
girls, including one time when he asked her to zell him $100 because he was out buying a girl
a burger. And Bria also said that KJ had drained her Lyft account, which is kind of like Uber,
saying that he would call her late at night asking her to get him a ride,
without their mom knowing that he was out, being like, hey, can you call me a car? Mom doesn't know
I'm out, which that, again, I think is important because it illustrates family dynamics. How
present of a parent was Kim? Was Croy? Did they know what was going on under their roof? Did they
let their kids just go out at all hours of the night? How much of a true parent were they being
in these years, in these very formative years? I know I'm a helicopter parent. That's fine. That's fine. That's fine. I know I'm a
14-year-old is calling my other child to ask for an Uber so they can get home because I am of the
belief that they are still at home and that I don't know where they are or what they're doing.
Absolutely not. KJ is 14 going into high school and he is fast, okay? I'm like, KJ, calm down.
My breath. Yeah, like, calm down, okay? There's enough women for later. Like, you're going into
high school. Let's, you're just starting, my, my man. Like, let's rock. He'll, he'll call me and
be like, can you sell me $100 really quick? I'm like, for what? He's like, I'm at the Avalon buying
this girl a burger. I know that's right. What? $100 for a burger? At least take her shopping,
take her to Sephora, pick out a blush, something else. Oh my gosh. And I, this kid has drained my
Lyft account. I can't not believe that I'm not banned on there yet. He calls me every other
night. Brielle, it's 1030. Mom doesn't know I'm out. Can you get me a Lyft? Oh, I hope I don't
I'm like, sure, hurry up. Send me the address. Now, to be fair, I don't know how much the older
girls actually knew about what was happening inside the family home with their younger siblings,
or whether they were being kept out of certain things entirely. I don't know. Because based on
the interviews that we've seen, if they knew that something had happened between KJ and a family
member, I would think that they probably wouldn't have been talking about him so casually and kind
of throwing him under the bus that way. Especially if there was already an active investigation. But
keep in mind, KJ is not a family member. He's not a family member. Keep in mind, KJ wasn't placed under court-ordered supervision until a month
after Brielle's interview aired. So at the time that the girls made those comments, there was
no indication from what I've seen and what I've been able to find that they knew about the
investigation or that either one of them could have predicted that KJ would ultimately be arrested,
you know, months later. Like I mentioned earlier, as of right now, we don't know whether KJ has
met all of the conditions of his bond. His next scheduled court appearance is for October 14th.
When his arraignment is expected to take place. And at that time, the defense is also expected to
enter not guilty pleas to all the charges. Okay, so like it always happens in breaking cases,
sometimes after I record, even new information comes out. And sure enough, as soon as I pressed
the stop button, more information has come out within the last 24 and 48 hours. And really,
some major developments in KJ's case that I feel like we have to address in order to make this
episode complete. I mentioned earlier that I was working on a case that I was working on a case that
very hard to obtain certain documents. And this morning, I received two reports that I do want to
share with you. Now the first is the actual parenting plan regarding Kaya, I received the
file directly from the courthouse, and it contains additional details that haven't really been
reported anywhere else. So I do want to walk you through the document and explain what it says,
while also not reading it verbatim, because there is a sense certain sensitivity around it,
not with the parenting plan itself, but just given the nature,
of the situation. I don't know, I just want to kind of, you know, go over and give you the gist
of everything. Here's kind of what it all explains. The document is titled temporary consent
parenting plan for summer 2025. And it lists Troy, the father as the petitioner, and Kim as the
defendant. So here's what the court documents actually say about the summer of 2025. Because
the arrangement involving Kaya was a very specific, based on a recommendation from the
guardian ad litem, Kim and Troy agreed to a temporary summer parenting plan for their four
minor children, KJ, Cash, and the twins Kaya and Kane. Under that agreement, Kaya was allowed to
temporarily move to Montana to stay with her paternal grandparents, with the plan for her
to leave around June 18. She was required to stay for at least three consecutive weeks, 21 days.
And then the attorneys and the guardian ad litem were supposed to
have a conference call to determine whether she should stay in Montana longer
or whether the court needed to get involved with that decision.
and there were some pretty specific rules surrounding her time there i know i touched
on some a little bit but now i want to just go through the exact parenting plan and let you know
exactly what those rules were so kaya was allowed to keep the flip phone with her at all times
and both kim and croy were allowed one phone call with her per day however it was limited to 15
minutes her grandparents were also responsible for making sure that she continued attending all of
her scheduled therapy appointments virtually neither kim nor croy was allowed to travel to
montana to visit her not unless there was an emergency or they both agreed to it in writing
which to me that was pretty telling the fact that in this parenting plan through the court it
stipulates the parents are not allowed to travel to visit her unless it's an emergency and that
there's something agreed to in writing it makes me believe there was a need and a reason for her
being away from her parents
and importantly this wasn't necessarily a situation where kaya was being forced to remain
there against her wishes the agreement specifically said that if she asked to come home that she had
to be returned to atlanta within 48 hours however one of the most notable provisions and one that
raises a lot of questions when you're reading it back now is that kaya was not allowed to be left
unsupervised with any male children around her age specifically
boys ranging from middle school through high school age the agreement doesn't explain why
that restriction was put in place so you know i don't want to speculate beyond what the document
actually says but that language was specifically included in this court-ordered parenting plan
and there was another safeguard requiring the father croy to immediately notify kim in writing
if any family member contacted him with concerns about kaya while she was in montana meanwhile
while kaya was away her children were not allowed to visit her and she was not allowed to visit her
twin brother kane would follow the same custody schedule as his older brothers kj and cash
meaning all three boys would move between kim and croy's homes together in atlanta and then once
kaya returned from montana the family was supposed to go back to whatever parenting schedule was in
effect for all four children at that time so essentially this wasn't simply kaya went to go
spend a few weeks with her grandparents for the summer in montana this was a court-approved
temporary arrangement recommended by the court-ordered parenting plan and the court-ordered
with a minimum three weeks stay continued therapy restricted parental visits daily communication
limits the ability for kaya to request to come home and then that very specific supervision
requirement involving boys around her age and look anytime a guardian ad litem is put into a
family court case or a case involving a child they are there to advocate for the child on behalf of
the child and really be there as a you know i don't want to say a neutral source but someone
there for the child's well-being so my question is still what was the catalyst that resulted in
this parenting plan being put into place was it that in april 2023 when croy filed for divorce
which was the same month that that sexual misconduct situation happened with kj
what is really going on here the second document that i received reveals some very alarming
behavior now before i get into this police report i do want to give you a trigger warning
it contains allegations of animal abuse so on november 25th 2025 a 911 call was made to the
alpharetta police department regarding disorderly juveniles who were throwing firecrackers and eggs
at horses the report states that at 2 p.m a caller advised that a teenage male at this address
was on his porch screaming obscenities and throwing firecrackers at the caller's horseback
riding facility children were also present at camps at the location so apparently this male
was throwing eggs at the caller's property throwing things at the horseback riding facility
and the horses the male was described as approximately 16 to 17 years old and the
caller stated that this was not the first occurrence there was also a younger brother
at the location so the caller said that they had attempted to contact a parent at the residence in
the past but that that parent was extremely rude the caller advised that they have never
seen a parent at the residence and they ended up meeting with officers at old alpharetta road
so then at 2 38 p.m the one of the units responding made contact with kim bierman the mother and
advised her to speak with her boys about yelling obscenities from the back of their house toward
this horse farm kim stated she would review her cameras and that she would address the issue
however this is so disturbing on many different levels because based on the timeline kj had only
been under court supervision for a couple of years and she was not allowed to speak to the
court for more than a couple of weeks at this point and as we know animal cruelty in children
that can be a huge warning sign associated with trauma conduct problems and exposure to violence
it can also reflect an attempt to gain power or control by targeting something more vulnerable
and i know you guys know this for all my true crime watchers but studies have found a significant
overlap between severe animal cruelty and later violence in life with documented histories of
animal abuse among the most common cases of animal abuse in the history of animal abuse
among violent offenders even among sexual homicide perpetrators and domestic abusers and we've seen
that with some of the biggest true crime cases out there right and serial killers dommer son of sam
ted bundy so many of them start by abusing animals so after reading this report i couldn't help but
think about what their second son cash and when he was mauled by the family dog if you remember that
so i actually went back and you may not know what i'm talking about but he ended up getting mauled
by one of the dogs and it was like
very very scary so i went back and i re-watched don't be tardy and i watched the entire incident
where it actually plays out in an episode which the episode is called the incident and one thing
immediately stood out to me they showed surveillance footage from the aftermath the immediate aftermath
which is basically kind of them running to the car and you know croy's version of what happens
which raises some more questions but the attack occurred back in april of 2017 which april just
seems to be a bad idea and i'm not sure if it's a good idea or not but i'm sure it's a good idea
for the beer mans but anyway according to croy the attack happened while cash and his brother kj were
playing outside croy was using a leaf blower to clean the yard which then put the dog on high
alert startled by the loud noise while cash was playing near him the dog bit cash directly on the
face cash suffered severe traumatic facial injuries as a result of this and was rushed
to the hospital for emergency surgery the bite left a scratch that was also just one millimeter
away from his left eye so while his eyeball was untouched and his vision remained perfect
he did require stitches along the inside of his waterline he underwent multiple reconstructive
plastic surgeries too over the next three years the family ultimately sent the dog to a rehabilitation
trainer and decided to keep him but then just a couple of months after the attack cash also got
a new puppy so that got me thinking a little bit about kim's other dogs specifically the two smaller
ones that seemed to be the most important to him and the other dogs that seemed to be the most
important that seemed to disappear from the show because if i remember correctly those dogs were
eventually rehomed and kim said it was because they were too small to be around the boys she
was worried about them getting hurt during the boys roughhousing or something along along those
lines but what if i don't know what if there's something more to it what if the dog was agitated
by something else that it was witnessing not just the leaf blower and i'm not trying to like
overly speculate it's just a lot of it is concerning and as i was looking for that clip about
kim and the smaller dogs i also started noticing some other moments from kj's early years that
raised some red flags for me in one episode croy and kim were dealing with their teenage daughter
briel going through a rebellious phase and kim actually told croy you know i think you'll look
back when kj is 17 years old and be like damn briel was such a good girl and looking back at
some of those earlier episodes there seemed to be moments where kj was already showing concerning
particularly when it came to violent thoughts and how he treated women including his sisters
you're gonna go not me i'm not punching people
i don't know a four-year-old threatening to punch his sisters that doesn't really ring very i don't
know well regulated to me in another clip from the same season kj curses at his mother and all
of the adults in the room just kind of eat it up thinking it's the cutest thing they've ever seen
who is this
now look i'm not going to say my kids haven't slipped up and said a bad word or what i deem a
bad word in my household which we don't say the words dumb crazy or things like that which again
maybe that's just me being a helicopter parent but i'm not going to say my kids haven't slipped up and
said a bad word or what i deem a bad word in my household which we don't say the words dumb
crazy or things like that which again maybe that's just me being a helicopter parent but
he's using it in regular vernacular and context and anger which that to me is alarming also
earlier this week a student who attends school with kj
came forward on TikTok. It's in a now deleted video, but she was speaking about KJ and what's
reportedly been going on at school. I did save the video and because this specific video has
since been deleted, I want to at least play the audio for you and maybe I'll play the video for
you on YouTube because I do think that it gives some context. Hi, my name is Sophie and I am a
student at Cambridge High School and I'm here to talk about one of the students at my school. His
name is KJ Bierman and he was just arrested for sexual assault for another girl at my school.
The reason I'm talking about this is because he's only 15 years old and he is currently
being charged with sodomy and some type of, like, I don't know the legal, like,
charge name of it, but he forced her to have oral sex with him and digitally penetrated her
and if you don't know what that means, digitals are another word for fingers.
According to the websites I have read, it happened at a Lifetime Fitness, but it was a girl from my
school and it was someone that he knew and it is horrifying. Knowing that I go to school with
someone that has the ability to do this at such a young age is honestly terrifying and the reason
I'm addressing this is because I don't know what to do with this. I don't know what to do with this.
I feel comfortable to talk about it because I am an adult. I'm 18 and I would like to speak up for some of the younger girls at my school that might be scared to, like, bring, like, press into this or just bring awareness to this.
He is currently being held without bond in a juvenile detention center and his court date is September 1st or 2nd, I believe.
The reason why he is such a big deal is because I haven't checked on TikTok, but on Instagram, he has 30,000, 35,000 followers and he is verified.
And he is a linebacker, I believe, that plays football at my school. His mom was on Bravo. I believe the show was, like, B-Tardy or something like that.
And his dad was an entertainer.
Now, I believe I know who the girl at my school is, but her name will not be addressed, like, out loud and stuff in any court cases whatsoever because they don't do that with sexual assault.
And I would also like to say that I have a lot of respect for this girl for coming forward and saying something because in the state of Georgia, in the area I am, our, the guys in this area are not respectful.
They are not respectful at all. I will say that first-handedly. They, there are a lot of racist, very sexist guys in the area that I live in. And I feel like this is just another result of that.
But I'm very happy she came forward. And I'm, I have a lot of respect for someone who does that.
Especially for all the girls that I know personally.
And just any girl who has never had the courage to come forward and speak up about it.
Please speak out about stuff like this because this is not normal and it never should be.
This should never be normalized.
And people at my school are already starting to make jokes saying free KJ.
Thank you for your time.
Now, honestly, this student seems incredibly wise for her age.
So, I just want to say, if there's any chances that she is watching this, you should be incredibly proud of her.
You should be very proud of yourself for coming forward and for speaking up for other girls and classmates at your school.
It takes a lot of courage to use your voice when you know that there could be backlash.
And I really hope that she knows that what she does and what she did matters.
What I do know in all of this is that based on everything we've covered, there appears to have been multiple warning signs and red flags that were either completely ignored or seemingly covered up by KJ's parents.
And perhaps more importantly, it seems like Kim and Kroy have been so focused on blaming each other for everything, from the infidelity to having sex too close to the children, whatever it is, that there hasn't been enough accountability when it comes to their own child's behavior.
And look, I just have to say, obviously Kim knew about the 2023 incident, so the fact that now, in April, in this new 2026 incident, she's trying to discredit this new victim, saying how false accusations are being made.

The case has sparked widespread public scrutiny and debate over parental oversight, child safety, and the role of media in shaping perceptions of reality TV families.
