The podcast blends humor and personal reflection, starting with a lively discussion of the popular social deduction game "Who's the Bad Guy?" where players take on secret roles to deduce who the "bad guys" are. The hosts share a candid and evolving review of their recent trip to Japan, where initial negative emotions from fatigue and travel disruptions were offset by meaningful connections and memorable experiences. The conversation shifts to cultural observations, such as the challenges of eating with chopsticks and the hosts’ humorous critiques of Japanese food, particularly a hamburger served over rice. They also exchange personal anecdotes about sleep habits, routines, and cultural missteps, like wearing American flags abroad. The episode includes several promotional segments for brands like High Noon, DraftKings, and BetterHelp, linking wellness and lifestyle choices to mental health and personal freedom. A recurring theme is authenticity—whether in cultural interactions, personal behavior, or self-expression. The hosts emphasize that while travel and life can be chaotic, the most valuable outcomes often come from genuine human connection and self-awareness. The tone remains light and self-deprecating, fueled by comedy, personal storytelling, and thoughtful insights into travel, friendship, and everyday life.

And high noon is going to be your drink of whatever season you are in every weekend and a weeknight that you choose to have a little bit more fun. High noon is going to be your companion for its smooth taste, for its incredible profile, for its guilt-free ingredients. And everything about high noon is always going to bring a winner to your scorecard. That's exactly right. There's no added sugar, it's only a hundred calories, gluten-free. You guys know me. I care about what I put in my body. That's part of the reason why I'm such a fan of high noon. I just love the fact that there's none of that chemically malt taste that just makes you feel like, "What did I just, ugh, why is my mouth still taste like that a long time after the fact?" No artificial flavors either. And here's another one. No artificial or no high fructose corn syrup. Oh, man. I hate H-F-C-S. He is no worse, but what's the best is high noon, whether it's the tequila, I'm going with a lime today. Well, I'm always just going to be the best friend of tequila, but they have a million flavors and they have a bunch of different options. Francis, what are you going with? Well, I'm a peach man myself, but look, I'm open to expanding my horizons at this point. As we both know, I'm a big passion for it, guys, well, and I love the grapefruit. And now, these flavors all come, not all of them necessarily, but I think a bunch of them come in single flavor packs, so you don't have to sift through the other flavors that you're not saying. You pick up what you want. You're like, "Hey, I'm in the mood for pineapple. I'm going to get eight pineapples, and I'm going to have myself a great weekend." And that's always available to you at highnoonspirates.com. Find out more about all this at highnoonspirates.com. And we'll start the episode now. Are we good? Yeah, yeah. Already welcome back to the Son of a Woodhead Podcast. We are here live from HQ3. Hello. How are we doing? Good. We're going to jump in real quick and revise some of the negative energy that I threw out about Japan right when I returned. Oh, yeah. No, you didn't throw out negative energy. You just said it sucked and you didn't like it. Well, you made me never want to go there. Yeah, you just ruined their view on that. We all knew you were never going to go. I had a trip booked. Harry. Come on. You were going to spend a month there. Yeah. We're not shooting the winter. Yeah. We're not going to go to all the five-star rated restaurants. Yeah. Well, the best Chinese in Italian places in Japan. It's important to note that we recorded the episode where I reviewed it just, you know, mere hours after I returned from a 20-hour travel trek home. And by the end, each day of that trip, I got sicker and sicker and by that point, I was in the worst place I'd been in and I was genuinely dead. And I would have reviewed anything with utter through horrible lenses. Now that I've recovered, still hate Japan, but the friendship on the trip was exceptional. And we did have actually a great time. I really did. I came back from Wyoming. I talked about how I once I hated Jackson Hole for an hour and a half. I had fun. I had a great time. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. Having a bad time with your friends is better than having a good time with your friends. Is that so? Sometimes I have a terrible time that you can commiserate because a good time only exists once. A bad time you could talk about for the rest of your life. Yeah. When we went to Iceland, it was just disaster after disaster and it was hilarious. Yeah. You're always yapping about it. It was a whole time. It was just fucking terrible. That's what made this great was that every time something went wrong, we all just laughed hysterically. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think the thing that we were going to do doesn't even exist. Yeah. You know, waterfall. If I had done the same trip I did alone without my two buddies, it would have been, I wouldn't have come home. Yeah. Yeah. I would have just said, I'm going to the top of the hotel and I'm going to Kamikaze down into the decorative fountain. That is how that works. No, but they have causing down what do you mean? You don't think I could blow yourself up? The way down, take a few with me on the way out. I think you used it right. I think Kamikaze used just a crash, but I think that Japan has the most creative ways of committing suicide anyway. Yeah. So like, straight to the forest. Well, typically it's sword. Oh, and I was thinking of the office buildings that have nets so you can't jump. Oh, yeah. The whole city's got nets. Well, I would jump off an office building with a sword. Yeah. That's smart. To go through the net. To cut the net. Right. To cut the net once you land through it. Time it perfectly. That's innovation even the Japanese haven't thought of now. Cutting the net. But I get that if your buddies were like, like it was an in-house conversation that this is bad and you made it an out-house conversation. Yeah. I was so delirious when we recorded that I just could not even, I didn't even really understand what I was saying. And I listened back and it was a very negative review of my trip. I felt I felt bad after the fact because it's just not true. We had we had a lot of fun and there was so much cool stuff that I should have highlighted more strongly. But honestly, like the negative things tend to be funnier and we're a comedy podcast. I think that's probably why not to pull back here about the good parts. Yeah. Yeah. Genuine. Like, I don't know. Like, it's just never. Yeah. It would be like, all right. Yeah, probably the point he was like, if you would just come back and rave about how good of a time you had, you'd just be another like neck-bearded white tourist that went to Japan. Yeah. Japan is awesome. Yeah. I saw a gaysia. Yeah. I took a picture with a gaysia. Did you see all the, like, their time square? No. I'm always always been curious about that. Yeah, that's something. Are you talking about the Shibuya crossing? Yeah. Are you talking about the place with the cat? No, no, no. The cat video. Shibuya crossing? Yeah. Shibuya crossing. Yeah. Shibuya crossing. delicious. That's just a funnier comedic choice to say I didn't like the trip to Japan. Yeah, I mean, look, obviously the truth is somewhere in the middle. I think that I was it was too short of a trip. I totally just did not account for how much trouble it would be to adjust to the timezone. Never had a recovery day, never really like allowed myself to catch up, which meant that I was just holding on for dear life for four days and then returned home, you know, a shell of myself. Whenever I have a nice vacation, I don't say a word about it on here because that shit's not interesting. Yeah, having a good time on a beach and having a cocktail is the least funny thing that ever happens. No, not funny at all. This was it about this was a trip, though, where like after four days, I was fundamentally closer to the two guys that I went with than I had been before and I think often like you spend four days with two of your buddies like that. You're like, I don't want to see those guys for a long time. Yeah, that was not the case here. I would really like to go back to Japan with them. Maybe a career next time. Yeah, I've run back a few of the things we, you know, few of the dinners, maybe not eat groceries. Where are the guys that you went with, like not like your really good friends? No, they are. One of them is a very dear friend that I've known for, I know very, very well. The other is a very dear friend of his who I had only met once. Friend of a friend, but friend of a friend now friends. Correct. Very nice. We connected another. There's a bond for life where there was until that episode came out, which point they were like, we completely misunderstood your feelings about us and they were very funny about it. They were like, wow, they're like, band of brothers, you should watch it sometimes. That's funny. It's a good line. I did have, I swear to God, I had that feeling. I think this is just like the thought of man where I was taking off from Tokyo, leaving listening to sad music about home. Yeah, yeah, of course. And I literally in my head thought, I'm due for a rewatch of band of brothers. Oh, yeah. I think that's something that just comes up every once in a while and a man's like, it's like the cicadas or like men's menstrual cycle. Yeah. Yeah. It's just talking
I think this'll be my fifth loop all the way through. Have you read the life? No. Oh, you should I refuse. It's really good I don't want to ruin the show read the first couple pages Great. Well, sounds incredible. Yeah highly recommend. Yeah, that sounds really recommended enough. Yeah, Francis I think you were just tired. Yeah, yeah, you slept till oh my god today Well, you don't even want to say don't even want to say it's like a curse word. Yeah, like Voldemort. Yeah I mean, I was up at eight personally Just getting after it. Nice. Yeah, seizing the day. You you just You had your coffee hours that you sleep. You had coffee must be lying. Well last night I went to bed probably one woke up at eight Nine, uh-huh eight or nine. It takes me a good hour to wake up fully To get out of bed and start you you get up to start scrolling Hit in the jewel immediately. I had a first fall of don't vape second of all No, I don't I actually don't really have like the urge to go on my phone when I wake up So what do you spend an hour on what are you doing for an hour snoozing the alarm So you sat in an alarm on days when you don't have shit to do Well, I had shit to do today. What'd you have to do? I had a bunch of shit to do. I've been in the city for hours A bald face line. No, it's not just the great runner of the podcast that I've been in the city for hours Doing what flying around so many swear clerical and bureaucratic things. I mean, I've been everywhere. You've been I was busking at Union Square Where were you and where were you again? I am not professing. I'm not professing to have been active so far today I'm not out here saying that you still got the crust in your eyes. Yeah, I sure do It's 2 p.m. Still got the the morning J.O. juice on my stomach. I thought I smelled something No, that's the oboe from by radio. Yeah, it's a very expensive. Yeah, I was up at 4th one of my jits just decided to be awake at 4 30 this morning And you've been up since 4 jits. I mean, I I tried to go back to sleep for a little bit But then I just the other jit woke a woke. You've been up since fully awake 4 30 No sleep in between no, I said I try to go back to sleep. I'm so long you go back to sleep for probably from like 5 30 to like 6 15 Nice It's a whole extra day of sleep 45 minutes One of my favorite things is when Someone will run or or I will text our group at you know 7 a.m. Like Hey, what time we doing today and run an aisle going back and forth and we'll basically decide on a time knowing that Harry will not be up until noon. I'm awake at which point. Nothing. I don't care about the time. It's too late for him to No, I don't care what time we record. I'm available. I'll be here regardless Because you're in the city you're in the city. I'm in the city. I'm in the city. Yeah, already you're not square Aaron's I've taken three different trains today. Mm-hmm What what three trains to Tuesday the W the R and the one The R and the W's the same line. No, I'm not it's actually not. It's quite different Those the same one. Similar route. No, they branch off different directions Well, I just uh, I'm tired of your filthy line. Frank to say how late you slept I slept till 11 o'clock. Oh my god That's like I got like someone's got to check in on you know, seconding. Yeah, I don't think it is. I think your body needed sleep Are you using drugs? Here's what happened You can talk to a friend went to bed at 10. Oh, yeah, excuse me 10 p.m. Oh my god. You got 24 It's 25 I went to bed. No, I'll be 25. I went to bed at 10 a.m. Oh my god. I did it again 10 p.m I woke up at 12.55 a.m. And thought oh boy. Yeah And I was I was I thought maybe it'd be four and I went out into my kitchen because I don't have a clock and my bedroom either That's fucking insane These are all things that I've been recommended not to have a clock because those that stress is you out Unlike getting up and walking out and now you're on your feet and you guys have way more sleep problems than I do Definitely you guys are like you lie about how long you sleep like you guys it if you wake up at 1 a.m. You're like it's I'm fucked I can't get back to sleep Well, then I was then I read for about an hour and a half. Oh Jesus because I don't want to be on my phone That's a real negative you not supposed to but I'm reading I got to turn the lights on I'm reading an unbelievable book. Yeah, so then you just don't sleep Huh, like if you're reading a book how you like to try to fall asleep you'll just stay awake. I don't I don't know I mean you read it for an hour and a half at 1 a.m. I was waiting for myself to get tired again And then I finally did and then it was I went to bed back to sleep at like whatever 233 and then I slept a full night from that point. Yeah, yeah, which was the problem Not terrible. I woke up and I was like I bet it's like 930 You would have no five you got to judge off of like which way the sun's hitting the handle I got no I got no sunlight coming ahead. I got these curtains that I just hold in your hands up Like stacking down to the horizon Probably four and a half hours to sunset and it smells like noon right now I'm surprised you've never gotten like fucks by that no clock He's early Roger. He's like Ben Franklin. If not for this Japan trip. I routinely cannot. I will never sleep past 8 a.m. ever Yeah, see me like if I don't set the alarm I could sleep till like 3 p.m. Really? Definitely. I think I could do really I think I'm a prolific sleeper If given the chance if given a bite at the apple. Yeah, no alarm. Oh, I need a couple minutes My body alarms on the weekends because I'll sleep the whole day. My body basically does the equivalent of like I'm trying to think like When if I were a kid and my dad came into my room shook me awake and was like we have to go right now Damn, that's what every every time I wake up is that level of That makes me think your ancestors were hunted. Yeah. Yeah. You guys were on the run. Yeah Are you do you come from an enslaved people friend? I did I come from a line of very prominent figures of the underground railroad Yeah, yeah. Yeah, we were probably the ones constantly like opening up the clock To reveal the hidden passage right we gotta go we gotta go time time. They're coming. I was thinking about that today the village is on its way Isn't it crazy when you go through the tunnels in New York that they have like a door On the side. Yeah. Yeah, but just to close in independent state that doors Yeah, I got a door on the on like the tunnels. Oh, like a like a vault door like a door in like a bank Is that for oh you're talking about the big tunnel to close. Yeah, close the tunnel. Yes If there's like water coming through the water, I don't know what it's for. I mean, I'd assume it's something like that Let's not look it up and let's just be wrong. Yeah, it's probably water. Let's try like the hunts. I honestly thought it was like just to block it off It could be that it's like if if someone has a nuclear bomb on Manhattan and they they've told us If anyone leaves the island, they'll detonate it. Yeah, they'll close they have to close off the tunnels. Yeah, so it's probably for that in water Or if like Batman driver. I've moved on from the water theory. I don't know why we're sticking it. Clearly, that's not right. I mean, it could be You don't like the Bane theory. No, now that one doesn't really do it for me because I feel like that would if they blew it up It would still evaporate queens Not if it's under underwater. It would just cause a tidal wave. No, it would still evaporate queens. The point is not it blowing up the point is Not letting anyone off the island of Manhattan The money train Oh That's a theory. See, I never would have guessed that what is the theory? It's used for the money train No, hold on a minute. That's the subway platforms. We're talking about say the midtown tunnel I mean, specifically we're talking about the queen's tunnel or I am Well, touring Queen's tunnel. I think Is either to keep the bad guys enter the bad guys out or to like there's no bad guys in Queens. It's very safe No, yeah, it's the Yemenis But the I think it could be It could be easily used to like lock a bunch of if the whole city went in Do you remember the movie Jack with Robin Williams now where he farts into a jar If all the queens went into the tunnel and farted simultaneous Maybe they wanted to save it. Yeah, yeah as like a biological weapon. Yeah, that's makes sense Yeah, that's probably the most reasonable explanation. That's probably what they're doing It's used to save the farts In case someone's coming over with the plague and you want it you need to fight back and you're like hey, we're out of You know, the bridge been shut off. It's looking like this plague thing is Said like we're like we're do for a Lockdown. Yeah, of course Israel's not the vaccine You see that they said they got it. They got the vaccine. Oh, well, then we're good. Yeah, Israel's us. Is real is no Israel is us everyone else is fucked Do you have to become Israeli if you want the shot huh? You're gonna have to become Israeli if you want the shot You don't get it. We already are big stuff. Of course. Well, I am you're not I am you have to be accepted. I have where I want to let you over the same country Pretty don't get it pretty much. Uh, Jay will do you want to you want to come on with us? Talk to us. I mean, so we're not allowed to talk Israel anymore Hey, Jay. Well, it's coming up. That's usually what that means Yeah, we're not allowed Jay will told us last week that he takes four
- Four baths a day, four. - Four. - Well, he takes baths. - He takes four baths every day. - Why so many? - I burned it. (laughing) - It's true, you have. You could take as many baths as you'd like. - I mean, I don't, I don't slather up. - Yeah, yeah, it's more just relaxation. - Yeah, I got a TV there. - Oh. - Coke. - A whole lot of that. - A whole coke. - Yeah, of course. - That's insane. - That's an insane move. - So much time. - To have a fucking, he says before golf, first thing in the morning. - Sometimes. - He'll get into the tub with a coke. - Love that. - It's a great idea to start the day. - Exactly. If you guys ran as many fucking suicides as I ran in my life. - Yeah, of course. - You've been a fucking bath four times too. - Yeah, yeah. - Nobody is in the bath. - These guys don't have time to take baths in the morning 'cause they wake up in noon. - You definitely know 'cause you're around a city all morning, by the way. - Exactly, you know what I mean? - I mean, I'm slammed. - They're sleeping in all hours of the day. - They're in Japan, sleepin' all the time. - Exactly. You guys wouldn't know about four baths in one day. - He's going to London, watch football. Some of us got to work. - I'm about to see. - Yeah, exact. - Some of us got to put the lights on. - Yeah, that's correct. - Francis, can you also correct J. Will? 'Cause he said that he wouldn't eat a hamburger in Japan. He said that he would eat a hamburger in the US. - Perfect God-ask. - Yeah. - Perfect God-ask. - The hamburger was the best meal, one of the best meals we had in Japan. - They do Kobe beef, they do Wagyu beef burgers. The burger experience we had was spectacular. They put it over rice. The one thing that was tough was they only gave us chopsticks. It's tough to break up a hamburger patty with chopsticks. I was stabbing the shit out of it to try to like break it in a line. - Did you not ask for a fork or a knife? - I wouldn't dare. - Wow. - Man, we've done enough wrong. (laughing) To know. - What do you mean? - It's the war. - First, you know, time thing, they're throwing us wrong by not offering a fork in it. - I agree. - Completely agree. - I mean, it's disrespectful to them. - I agree. - Just like it's disrespectful not for us not to eat their food. - Exactly. - How to fuck you on me to the hamburger with chopsticks. (laughing) - Shit, shit. - Yeah, that's bullshit. You can pick up the whole thing and just bite it. I thought maybe that was what I said. - Was it like a rice cake? - The rice was in a bowl as the bed upon which the burger sat. - Was there like, actually ketchup and mustard. - There was a green hot sauce. There was some kind of like pickled onion type situation. - Is that what we're looking for? - No, no. - You had the bed of rice and then you took the burger off the plate that they brought it on and put it onto the rice. - Is that like a bun made of rice right up there? - No, no bun. - Oh, that's what y'all want me to do. (laughing) - That was like a piece of meat in between too. - Gotta save that even though. - That's the normal we have. - That looks insane. (laughing) - It just the best thing you had was the wrap round a burger. (laughing) - That's the best thing you had. - I'd be like, - Biting into like a nature valley bar. - Yeah. - To be just rice everywhere. - I think she loves it. (laughing) - I believe you that it was very good for us. - Japanese hamburger with rice. - Try that one Tyler, just to see. - No buns. - We had no buns anywhere. - Yeah, there you go. That's what it was. That's exactly what it was. This is literally what, yeah. I don't mean to have an egg, but this might even be where we end up. - I mean, it looks you good, but I'm gonna, by no means is that a burger. I don't think it was actually a single thing that would qualify that as a burger. - What would you call it then? Meat and rice? - Why wouldn't it be a burger? - It's a hamburger patty. - 'Cause there's no bun. - Who says you need to have a bun for it to be burger? - Growing up, we never had rice. - We only ate them on beds of lettuce. - Oh no. - Sort of got it. - Oh, that just can't be true. - Yeah, wolf snack burgers from the farm we could see, literally over on wolf snack peninsula. And it was-- - It got yourself. - No, that one's far enough away. - Okay. - We saw it through the telescope we had. - Yeah, it would be not good. - That was for bird watching. (laughing) - Burgers are done. (laughing) - And we're old. - I shouldn't have. - I just feel like a burger needs either bun, lettuce, tomato. It can't just be the meat. That's meatloaf. You had meatloaf with rice. - Can I say something? Have a fuck, you post eat that egg with chopsticks. We saw them there. - You just break it all up. You mix it all together. They're big on mixing stuff. - That's what a chef to do. (laughing) - In truth, we did not have the egg, but we did have these fixings. We did have this kind of fixings, which were amazing. - I mean, it looks great. Like, I have no doubt that I would love it. - Yeah, she's figured it out. I don't know how she did that though. - But you definitely can eat a burger. Like, you couldn't go to five guys and start picking it apart with chopsticks. Right? I mean, I could. - I mean, you need like 10 chopsticks. - I wouldn't fuck with the chopsticks. (laughing) - Son of a boy dad is brought to you by DraftKings. The, the, it's all either Kobe or Wagyu. - That's all they have. - You say that doesn't mean anything to me. - That means nothing to me. - That's all he has to. - Well, you remember Kobe and Shaq. - That's all he has to do. - You remember Kobe and Shaq. - Of course. - Take out Shaq and put Wagyu. Same combination. - In that case. - Just as, just as dominant. - See to me, Shaq's better than Wagyu. (laughing) - I don't know, Wagyu is like any era, you know what I mean? Shaq, we always saw a dominant player ever. - Yeah, but he doesn't, he couldn't, is he beaten Wembee? 'Cause Wagyu might be able to beat Wembee. Like Wagyu can go out to the three points. - Nobody's more dominant than Shaq ever. - Agreed. - Nobody ever. - Nobody ever. - What about Wagyu? - Well, Chamberlain. - No, he played the against me, not Will. - Okay. (laughing) - It doesn't mean he was. - What if you go out and Shaq, what would he do? - Rate me? (laughing) - Literally. - If he wanted. - He boxed out with his dick in my asshole. - I don't think he likes red hair. - And I would die on the spot. - Yeah. - He'd go over the back, pull out, and I would hemorrhage. (laughing) - She's pro-lapse all over the free-throw line. - Wow, that's, that's, there has to be a, (laughing) - Never heard of like that. - I'm not so sure he's that dominant. (laughing) - Yeah, suddenly you're arguing the other way. - Wow. - Suddenly you're arguing against Shaq. - Oh, no. - Not that dominant. - But anyway. (laughing) - Wagyu beef, whatever beef. - He's just saying he thinks he would get sick, but he's thinking of, he's thinking in Chinese terms. This is Japan. - They know what they're, they're clean. They're wonderful people. - Are the Chinese not? - Are they dirty? - Yes. - I don't think they're dirty, they're just not as clean. - Did you see that post that Donnie and Chaps did about the cities in the world, or maybe it was the countries that have the most billionaires, the highest concentration of billionaires? It was cities. - No, what was it? - New York. - Hell no. - Yeah, I think New York was number one. Moscow was two. - It was number one. - Same for Ann. - Same for Ann. - No, no. - Might have been up there. It was up there with, you know, Silicon Valley tech people. But what was so surprising to me was that a lot, like that, there were, there were a number of Chinese cities. - Hong Kong. - Hong Kong, you understand. - Beijing. - But like Shanghai was up there, and I was like, man, I didn't. For some reason, you know, with, with China being a communist run country where everything is nationalized. - Kind of like y'all trying to do here, but anyway, go ahead. - Exactly. You wouldn't, I wouldn't have thought that almost that they would allow for there to be so many billionaires. Very naive thought. I'm dumb, I get it. - No, I don't think that this is a, this was like a conscious development of China to like, like capitalize the oligarchs. And now they're like, now they can participate fully
like being become billionaires aren't there only like 2000 billionaires in the world don't say that bro I think there are more I think there are more there's more in Chongqing China is there just 2000 in America there are 3000 428 in the world that's so I mean you know you're probably talking about that about them like maybe maybe the a lot of the Chinese billionaires are connected to the state somehow. But Jack Ma I don't think I'm from Ali Baba. Yeah he I mean he's up there. He gets kidnapped or no his kid someone got kidnapped but he also has a kid that goes to NYU. Makes sense. But being a billionaire in New York said Disney show I'll watch what he said a chopstick chopstick got it. No chopsticks here shop. You're even tried to use them once. What I had to go. Not very good. What'd you try to eat noodles. Rice. Rice. Takes a while. That seems yeah yeah you had to eat one at the time. Like fried rice. No you when they cook rice over there. It's sticky. It's yeah you can get it clumps. It's like wet snow. Yeah yeah yeah of course. Spoon works perfect. Yeah that spoon gets it done for me. Fuck a chopstick. Yeah it doesn't have to be sticky rice I could eat whatever rice I want. Right freedom. That's what we call that. Yeah here in America. They're eating soups with chopsticks over there. It's brutal. One drop at a time. You just brought your own fork from home. You just used it everywhere. Chopsticks. No fork. Right. I'm with Francis. I'm not going to go I I like worked on my chopsticks before I went over there because I didn't want to be like this American and maybe it's insecure but to be this American cliche of it. Let me know what it is. It is insecure. Yeah yeah wow you like that. Well I just have admitted I'm insecure. Why? Because I'm trying to have they want to go to countries and be like the tourists that like no one notices like they're like oh my god. Bro I'm not going to get noticed so naturally in Asia. Those guys are naturally cool. No one's going to think I'm from Japan. No one's going to mistake me as a Japanese. They could. I mean I don't have. There's no chance. That's even more reason to use a fucking fork. Exactly. We're not bridging the gap no matter what we might as well just be true to who we are. Yeah. Have you ever heard of the phrase when in Rome? Yeah but you're not in Rome you're in China. You're in Japan. No you're right. Listen I went over there. Jay well you'll like this and I wore all my best Confederate flag shirts. Every day. Confederate flag. Well what would make you think that I would like that? Well you said my accent. You said don't try to assimilate to their culture. Don't give them what they want and the most American thing I could think to where was the union jack. Really? I wouldn't even know what that is if you went over there. Yeah. I don't fucking know this guy looks. No they were not offended. They didn't work in no way. They didn't even play any. I know what it is. No. No they didn't. Somebody went to a rough and rowdy one time in a Confederate flag shirt. The boxing competitions that we had in West Virginia. There was like someone in the crowd that was just wearing like a Confederate flag sweatshirt. And whoever was doing the sideline reporting was like you know that that West Virginia fought for the union right? Like West Virginia was never in the Confederacy. A lot of people mixed West Virginia up when it comes to stuff like that. Yeah. You guys hate slavery. My God dude I'm such an idiot. I knew this was wrong. The Union Jack is not the fucking Confederate flag. The British British flag. What's the name of the? You're in Japan wearing Confederate flag. No wonder no one was offended. We're in a red coat. What happens when you sleep to 11 or 5 a.m? Yeah your brain wasn't prepared no time to research pretty appropriate. The Jolly Roger is the pirate one. The Union Jack is the British one. I wouldn't wear a sweatshirt with any flag. Like if that was like the whole sweatshirt was the pattern of a flag. I agree. Not my style. I think it's swag. I think a US flag sweatshirt is sick. Yeah you got a lot of those. I had a I have a battle against blizzard where I wore the US flag going against the British guy where it's like the whole. I went into India doing it. Like one of those. Can you pull up Rome against Rome versus blizzard? Just even just a still shot. We'll show you that I went into England wearing this shit. Rock. I thought your dress up is. I didn't come in up. Don't put some out of my fucking name. I mean it looks like you're wearing a black t-shirt. Do you ever look back at these videos? Look look look full full back sweatshirt in England. Oh no. I wouldn't wear that. In England and nowhere. I wouldn't wear that in my apartment. Not even on the fourth of July. Not even in my casket. This is a performance. I'm going in England representing the United States. Would you wear the team USA jersey if you were playing against Serbia and basketball with my number on it? Yeah. And my teammates had it on too. Yeah. I would never go in Nordstrom's or anywhere and pick that off the rack. No, neither. Right. No, there's not a single flag that I could like you get me to wear that. No, this is a nice. This is a nice sweatshirt and it was patriotic and it was going on to their territory wrapping my team. And I just didn't take you as an America hater. Jay will blizzard smoked you in this. No. Yeah. 150 didn't blizzard like what happened with him put on a bunch of weight. That's what it was because I went to his Instagram. Yeah. And I was like holy shit. Well, are you going to ask why he doesn't look the same as he looked when he was 19. I was going to ask if you ever watch these videos back and like thank thank goodness that you don't have to do it anymore. Only in that. Like if this this looks like such high pressure that if there's a part of you that's like relieved not going to go into that anymore. So it's so nice not to have to do it. Not just the pressure of the I don't mind the pressure of the scenario. It's the pressure of like having to fucking book 12 of these in a year to make like 35,000 that's terrible. Yeah. It is like I mean, I feel like you can like people compare it to stand up in like the way that you're trying to like get a reaction out of people live on stage. But you never do a set of stand up and lose. You know, it's not like you ever on your way home and you're like, I lost tonight. I definitely had that feeling of bombing, but it's not like you like this, you actually lose. Yeah. Like you like you could have flown to Europe and lost. Yeah. That happened once. I battled a guy named a youth oracle in London and I went out the night before and I got drunk and I knew my shit. Like I was staying at drunk and I was wanting. I was so hungover for God everything. I had to fly back. I missed my flight back from lunch after I'd lost a rap battle. Do you get any money if you lose? I think I got paid like $1,200 total flat rate. Not terrible. No, it's not good. Flat rate. Hey, it's not terrible for how long or like 10 years ago. You can, no, it's not like that. This isn't like the Vanderbilt's bottom mansion for $1,200. This was 12 years ago. I mean, I feel like I've flown to gigs and walked away losing money. Yeah, but you didn't have to move away home and I'm like, I'm down. But you have to. That happened to me a lot by definition, a waste of time. That happened to me for the first four years I was headlining. Yeah. Yeah. But you guys could at least do the same material. I wrote the material just for that trip. Yeah. That's true. You guys, you can take the material somewhere else and be like, okay, I had a bad day. I'm going to go refurbish it. Did you guys actually lose money? Felt like you lost. I've had to drive actually. There are times where I've come away from a weekend down. There was a weekend back to back where I had to go to Vegas and then I had to go to Portland. And on that two weeks stretch, I lost like $2,000. Okay. But what he's not saying is that you brought your own opener, right? Well, yeah. Yeah. How'd you lose it? What'd you have to spend it on? So that's so he's paying for the flight of his opener. Gotcha. And then he's and then he's paying for his hotel too. That you got two hotel rooms from the club. Yeah. That comes out of your settlement though. We pay for that. So my point is you, you, you, I'm not taking anything away. You're generous. It's just like if you had gone as bare bones as possible. Yeah. You wouldn't, maybe you would have come out even. I don't know. Some of those clubs, not going to say which one specifically, but five shows the guarantee is like the cost of the flight there. Oh, wow. Yeah, but they built in a travel buyout. No, not not some of them. So why would you want to protect these clubs that are clearly digging you guys because some of them are really good? You go back the next time you go back if you perform while they give you a better deal. I also just go back to the club by having a shit deal in the front. I probably don't have any plans to do a weekend in Portland anytime soon. You know, yeah, true. It's a great city. Great city. I just don't tell a lot of tickets out there. They don't know you yet and they will. Oh, maybe. No, you, they definitely will. Can you imagine that if you had to go to a fucking NBA game and then you lost money? Like, yeah, I'm actually down this week. That would be horrible. Fuck. Did you ever do the math or did they ever do the math for you and say like, this is literally what you make per game? No. No. You we can personally. You could do it right now. We could do career earnings and versus games played. But it's always different at different times. Like, I know in, I know in like the Premier League, they always do that. They always seem to have
the number. It's like 300,000 like when Rudy is making this many stars, the stars, they do that too. Like Cam Newton, like he is that what he had that clip where he was talking about, uh, like every game he played no matter what, if they want to lost, he got like a million dollars in his bank account. That's amazing. Jay, well, you made $70,639 for every regular season game of your 12 season career. And you don't think that earns four baths a day. I think you could have four different baths in your home in which you could switch like Peepods. Yeah. I may have that. That's how I may like a music artist getting $70,000 for one night is like, you're like one of the best in the fucking, I mean, I guess you are the best in the world, but like you're the headlining act. If you're getting $70,000 a night, like that's an insane take home. And you were getting that every night for fucking 12 years, do the same thing for LeBron James. No, no, I mean, yeah, it's crazy. And they do that you write that like for the stars, they do like the down to the second place, you know, watch this. $350,000. Yeah, whether he plays or not. That seems weird to me because that means that he made five times more than you did per game respectfully. I would have thought it was more because LeBron has is like a billionaire at least. Oh, yeah. But I guess is he his career earnings in basketball or 581 million, but I mean, all his other ventures on the side. I think he made a billion from Nike already. Yeah. That's crazy. So nice. I can't I mean, three, he could just buy a like a mid-level house in like middle America for every night that he plays. He could even get an apartment in Philly. There's nothing crazy. There's nothing financially irresponsible that LeBron James could do. Yeah, that's true. There's nothing. Yeah. I mean, he showed to get a place in Philly because those helicopter rides look very sketchy. Yeah. But I think the other part of that is like I saw that simulation. But yeah, yeah. It's like they had it flying through like buildings and shit. It's like they took it. They took the simulation through fucking, you know, the core and gall valley for him to get to Philly. It is cool though because every time I see a helicopter now, I just assume it's LeBron. Right. I'm like, holy shit. That's LeBron. It could not be LeBron. That's what we do, right? Yeah. You could do it. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, no, if I could do it, I would not do the helicopter. Yeah. Yeah. No shot. I would just drop it. It's like an hour. Yeah. Really? Yeah. Chopper is only cutting you down like half the time. We always get these headlines now about helicopters crashing into the East River and the Hudson. He's saying that he's not scared of it. He said, you'll eat the raccoon or this. You won't find a helicopter. Yeah, helicopters are scary. Helicopters are unstable, unregulated. There's a random guy sitting up there. Two. Not always. No, I'm on it. It's two. Oh, you only go on the one. I will never get on one pilot helmet. Some of us can't afford the two pilot helicopters. I can't afford the two pilot helicopters either. I'm with someone else. No, okay. I'm not afforded an helicopter. What's the longest helicopter ride you've taken? Probably like two hours. What? Like I don't like that at all. Like so long. Orlando to a hill in the head. What? How long of a drive would that be? Probably five and a six, maybe four. Just take a flight, bro. A helicopter. It was dope though. It was like the pilot would go dive down there to beach. What if I was waving at us? Like, yeah, that's all. That sounds horrifying. Alligators, like 15, 16 feet long, bro. So if you go down, there's like no chances, survival. Yeah, you're going to die in a horrible way. I survived the crash. Oh my god, there's a 16 foot alligator next to me. I'm very badly burned. Yeah, that would be terrible. Black Hawk downing it. In Black Hawk down, do they survive the helicopter crash? No. Yeah, I think I think most of them do. No. There's a helicopter that explodes. Two helicopters crash in Black Hawk down, right? And one of them people live, but the other wanted like that's what I asked evaporate. Oh, is that right? I think so. Okay, then I must have been thinking, but he said one of them people live. So he's saying, I said, do people live in the helicopter crash? And you just said, yes. And one of them people live. There's one that's shot down by a rocket launcher, which they definitely did not live. Tyler, we're going to need to see did how many souls were lost in Black Hawk down? That's not the question. No, that's not the question. How many souls on board did anyone die? No, we need to know, did the helicopter crashes in Black Hawk down result in the full death of the crew or whatever? Yeah, that's the only way to find out, because those scenes, I mean, it takes up the whole movie. Not all crashes resulted in death. See, we got way too specific. Now they're just talking about Black Hawk's in general. Oh, wait, wait, wait, go down. It says it while while pilots and some crew members were killed, they're severely injured in the initial impacts and ensuing ground battles. Several crew members and defenders survived the crashes, both crashes and were later rescued. Interesting. Boom. What a thought. Well, okay, that, I guess, yeah, then maybe LeBron should be in a helicopter flying over. Yeah, it's flying in a Black Hawk rivers. They got him in a Black Hawk. Yeah. Yes, I'm happy for LeBron's. No, me too, of course. Of course. So shame, you guys won't pay him, though. Feels weird. He doesn't want, he doesn't want Philadelphia's money. He doesn't want to pay tax. Sounds like he doesn't want anything to do with Philadelphia to be honest. It's time for to play for a basketball team, wear our colors. Yeah, wear our jersey. He's probably going to have his own jersey. Yeah. Red, red quarterback jersey. Don't talk to me. He deserves it. Don't touch LeBron. He's a hundred. He does deserve it. I would be fine with it. I mean, you need something because those, that Eagles team is done. You're done, bro. That was the right move to trade cam Jerkins. That Eagles team is dead. I mean, this is coming out on Monday. You're going to have sake one playing on one. And after we just beat the Jaguars, I can't believe that you're saying that. After we just beat the Jaguars in London, I can't believe you're saying that. You know, you didn't beat the Jaguars in the last we did. We shocked the world. And everyone was proud of it. First of all, London is like the Jaguars like home facility. Like that's like they like to play. That's fine. No, they don't. They genuinely do. And we went and stole one. They play like a ton of games in London for some reason. I think owner has a house. Yeah, their owner likes it. Shotcon. Yeah. Yeah. So you're, you're, you're not going to win. We're going into enemy territory and we're stealing one. You lost. It's, we're in the, you lost two games. Your season's over. You were just talking about the 28 and 29 picks that you got in the eight. Oh, now we can, we have to talk to you. If you're already talking draft picks, I don't think you make the playoffs. Yeah. What, bro? It's now, we have this thing in the locker room because we're three and two now where it's nobody believes in us, but us. And like only the guys in this room believe in us. And that's a good place to be. You guys, they all taken Rocky over to London with the The thing with the Eagles is like, you can't have this whole like that whole attitude of like the only people that believe in us is like dogs are in faster like that works. Losers do. Yeah, that's what losers do. And that works when you have AJ Brown and and Devon Day Smith and Saquon and all these guys are the peaks of their career. Now you don't have AJ Brown, Devon Day Smith's hurt. You have no align. Jalen Hertz. I mean, he's going to be selling insurance in the next couple of weeks. Dude, your coach wrote like the six of the 10 comments. Your coaches are fundamentally evil guy and Jalen. And he's fundamentally shale of the man that he used to be a person. And so I don't think that you really have the bandwidth. The giants were thinking long term when they gave you guys Saquon. They're like, he's only got one good season. He's going to get one championship. Yeah, he's going to get one ring. You guys are done. Don't even say that. We're three and two right now. Luckily, the Patriots advanced to three and two. So who'd you guys beat this weekend? The Raiders. No way. Yeah. Yeah. It was a big win. No chance that happened. Big upset. This episode is sponsored by BetterHelp. Dolphins? - Vikings. - Vikings, really. - I like that. - It's a solid program. They run over there, not bad. - One of the best training facilities in the league. - They just saw that. I saw that. - What do you think of that? - Love it. - I don't know if he's going to do much, but it seems like a nice guy. - Do you think it's weird that he wears Botox as a grown man? - I mean, look, he's earned it. - Francis, what do you think about that? - I didn't know that. - Oh, Del Beckham Jr. Botox. - I mean, he earned it. - It's just like four baths. What the fuck? - Exactly. - What do you want to do? You do. - This is Francis' question. Francis, do you think that it's appropriate that he's drawn to space in Botox? - I think he's kind of this new, I don't really know how to describe him. - He's like a precursor to Caleb Williams. - He's kind of like, yeah, maybe that's right, yeah. - He doesn't quite paint his nails, but he's like a footballing metrosexual. - What if it gets Botox for medical reasons? - Yeah. - What if Caleb Williams paints his nails for medical reasons? Caleb Williams doesn't paint his nails anymore. - Yeah, no one paints their nails for medical reasons. - No one gets Botox. - Yeah, they do. People get it for like migraines and headaches and shit. - He got it in his cheeks for the migraines. (laughing) - Get my crow's feet for my migraines. - Did he really get Botox? - Look at him. What are you talking about? His face looks like fucking-- - Do you think if the last-- - Do you think if he knew that they were gonna call him after week four, that he would've done that dance? - In week one? - Yeah, no, he wouldn't have done it. He probably thought he's back for the long term. - Right? I mean, yeah, I feel like if you're hitting that dance, why did they get rid of it, did they say? - They did, and I don't think he played once. - Yeah, I think that they were playing-- - I think he caught a ball. - They were playing the young guys. - So why have a side for a practice player? - Well, he made the roger. - They were also giving him a shit ton of money. - Yeah, he wasn't, they have Malik neighbors. They didn't know if he was gonna be healthy. He wanted to be unhealthy. They got, they drafted Malachi fields. There's some other young guys over there. - Where was, where was Odell before? Was he on the Ravens last year? - That sounds right. - I don't know if he was in the league last year, but he was on the Ravens before that, Rams before that. The Giants are Frances' team. - Oh yeah. - Frances. (laughing) - Love it. (laughing) - You looked in here. - Are you really a Giants fan? - Yeah. - Wow. - My whole family's from New Jersey. And we-- - That's where they started on the Underground Railroad. - Yeah, by that point, it's above ground. (laughing) - Because you got them out of the hand. - Unlocked the tunnel. - Yeah. - Kind of ascended to the Ground level. - We moved to Maine when I was three years old. So both my folks are from New Jersey and my dad is diehard Giants fan. So, you know. - Does he like James Winston? - He's really positive about whatever seems to be happening. I don't know what, you know, I look at the team right now and I'm like, this is a ship that has a thousand holes in it and everyone's still just partying on the deck because somehow we've like, flopped our way to three and one. Head of leading the NFC East, but that's only a matter of time before. - Just like the Vikings only matter. - The reality sets in. I mean, I don't think that this is a team that can continue to win. - I don't know. - You guys got a pretty solid roster. - Viking. - Pretty complete. - Well, the Giants. - Yeah, but like quarterback. - Our quarterback situation is-- - The defense is good. - The cartoon. - Yeah. - And James should probably retire. - We've lost some pretty key players to injury. - When's Jackson Dark? Oh, no, he's done for the season. - Time for the season. - That's so dumb. - Surgery. - I think so. - Yeah. - It's so crazy like having to like figure out how to not be a psycho sports fan in front of your kids because like it would just be inappropriate if I was in a bad mood for six hours after the Eagles lost and my kids are like running around the house or like happy having no idea that sports are on. But like for the rest of my life leading up to that, that's how I'd act. I'd be a fuckin' petulant child if my team lost and like be in a bad mood. But like you just can't, you have to give that up. - Well, this is why I don't watch sports or take that much of an emotional investment in them. - Why? - It's because I have enough things that make me that way already. Like going to Japan the wrong way. - Going backwards to Japan. - Taking the incorrect attitude to Japan. - Yeah, I would say football like usually that my day starts good and then by the end of it I'm in, it's like the worst mood I've ever been in. Like by 8 p.m. I'm furious every Sunday. - Doesn't that happen a lot of days though? - No, never. Mostly Sundays only on Sunday. - I bet your fuckin' professional athlete ass has never even experienced that feeling. - Well, I mean, no, I would never, I'm never mad by 8 p.m. on Sunday. (laughing) - We're sleep, we're like watching a team, I guess maybe Texas Tech Softball. - Right. - You say you watch them lose. You're probably fuckin' like, that was a fuck. - Not one bit. - Really? No? Is there any team outside of a team you've played on that's made you upset that like ruined your day that they lost? - Nothing will make me run my day that I can't control. - Really? - Nothing. - You're a pretty zen guy. - Is that me? - Then at peace, you're balanced. - I mean, I get riled up a little bit, but not over some silly shit like that. - The one thing that you told me, which I found, this is stuck with me, is that you have a deep worry about your children. - Oh yeah, I worry about them all this time. - And you told me, and we can cut this if you don't want me to say it, but you told me that nothing would make you happier than if they were to live with you for the rest of it. - Oh, I'd be great. - Of your life. - They had to change and tweak some things about their life. - Sure. - But yeah, I wouldn't mind that at all. A lot of parents want their kids. It's, there's a little bit of a stigma about kids moving back in with their parents, right? - Right. - You want that. - I'm cool with that. - Yeah. - I like that. I thought that was really charming. I wasn't trying to charm or anything, but-- - No, I know. - Yeah. - We're not like that. - But I just feel like, I don't know. I feel like if I can touch them and see them. - Yeah. - I like to worry about them. - Yeah, it makes sense. - Yeah. - Yeah, that's a nice feeling. Like, yeah, like a compound, are you saying? Like, you want to have, or under the same exact roof. Like, do you want them? - It's a roof. - Yeah, under the same roof. - Roof. - Roof. - Yeah. - Under the same roof. - Yeah, we've been under the same roof for 18, 20 years now anyway. - Yeah, that would be great. Yeah, it's weird to think about. 'Cause I'm like now with my kids. I'm like, yeah, I'd never want them out of my sight. That'd be so awesome. But then with my parents, I'm like, oh, I don't probably give them the same energy. That's why I like going to London. I'm looking forward to hanging out with my parents. You know that happened this past weekend? - Of course. - Of course. - When your parents got to watch the Eagles lose together. - That didn't happen. - I'm gonna do it again next week. (laughing) - They liked it so much. - It's a tradition in our household, okay? We grew up losing my whole fucking life. Now we can finally win a little bit. I can go back to losing. - I think it's weird though that the Eagles are so bad now, but the Chiefs are still so good. - 'Cause I have Andy Reed, former coach of the Eagles, bro. I'm steeping that anything for Big Red, we root for Andy in our house. - They gotta do it Patrick Mahol. - It's all Andy. - All Andy. - Andy would win with anybody, bro. - Thank you guys. - What do you mean? He went to five energy championship games with us. - He ran any? - Two of them. - Or one of them. (laughing) - One of them. And then we lost to the Patriots in the Super Bowl. - Oh my God, that's humiliating. You weren't a lot, or it's 2004. You were two years old, fucking rolling around. - Three. - Not in January. Don't mess. - Don't mess. - God doesn't even know his own birthday. - You morally decrepit dumbass. I'm about to have to get them presents in London, 'cause France has got such a nice presence in Japan. - I'm already really stressing over it. I'm like looking up how much that LL Bean sweatshirt costs, so I hit a price point that's a little bit higher that we'll be friends with. I just wanna spend a little bit more than you. - Oh boy, please don't. I looked up that fragrance I told you about, and I was like, I'm gonna have to take that back. 'Cause-- - No, no, no, no, no. Tell me what it is, 'cause I don't wanna go back and look up. - I'm hopeful if, I mean, you know, you can't get the full bottle. I got you the 50 mil. - Right, right, right. - Which is like a half size. - I could spoil you. How much is the full? - I don't know what it is. - What's it called again? - I don't even wanna say, 'cause I-- - It's just so frittable to look up. - Just fucking say. You say, you say, you don't wanna say, you don't wanna him to go get it. - I'm not gonna get it. - Just say. - You already said it on the pod. - The ex-Nahilo fucking EX space N-I-H-I-L-O. And it's the Herod's exclusive. - Is this cloned? - Yeah. - Yeah, that's it. Brompton and mortals. - Five hundred. - I thought it was gonna be like $10,000. - Well, look, there's a different price. - Oh, it's got like four, five different deals. - That's what I know, it's cool. - Fiji. - But I bet they have a half size of this. - Fiji, I don't know. - That's too much money. - That's why I said I would bet on you. I can't let you get it. - No, that would be so nice. I gotta get the Herod's. And that would fit perfectly. I left some space in my bag. But if I'm gifting everybody something, just make it easy. What do you want? - I don't want anything. - You just bought a keyboard. - Yeah, I don't want anything. - Don't make me guess. - Oh no, I don't want anything. - I'm not making you do anything. If I'm gonna spend fucking four hundred sixty-five dollars on you, just make it a little bit easier. you're not spending.

You could get them here now But we want them in London. They're not they don't have them. They don't have a London. They don't have a British version one They don't need the British version. We want the American version exactly. It's like I don't want fucking uh Why are you beef? No, chop chop. Yeah, we're a fork. Yeah Why don't you bring me and Jay will back 10 piece of nuggets from McDonald's And some little Debbie's oatmeal cream pie. There we go. I got a suggestion round for for Harry Because I've thought about this before uh, you could get him a nice Newsboy cap Right from some cool British brand uh brand because he when he dresses up, he wears a newsboy cap Yeah, usually. Yeah, or when he's out of time. I think it's cool. I'm not making fun at all whenever you sell the evening edition You wear it too whenever you hit him with the extra extra read all about it You're also always wearing the newsboy cap Choose two gun down in Times Square shooting Read all about it Would be Parliament's bomb us Fire in the old textile factory read all about it Maybe like some like uh like a maybe a book about like Jack the Ripper Oh, okay, that can be fun. That'll be good, but it's got to be a $500 book Well now you're talking about a gigantic coffee book that he's gonna have to bring home in his suitcase, which is oh That's a lot to ask. Yeah, a volume. I do have more than a hundred milliliters I budgeted room for this for this big volume in the suitcase I don't even know what the fucking way you like cigars Not like that. How about a Churchill? I was gonna say bring him a couple of churchels. I'll take him. Yeah, that works. Would you? Yeah, if I brought you three churchels Oh, you would so you wouldn't smoke them with us Hell no, if it was my gift to you you wouldn't smoke them with me. No, I would The key to buying gifts for Harry is You just have to know that whatever you're getting him is going straight into the pile Yeah, cigars Bucking flags doesn't matter. Yeah, it's like a disdain for any gift even if it's useful correct I just got him that keyboard and he shoved it into his backpack. That's not true at all It's not in your backpack. I bought that keyboard myself. I heard from that on Christmas day Harry does not show face until six p.m At which point all of the families gifts have been opened and his are just in a pile in the corner for him for those clicks Open once it's dark out. Yeah, so everybody can watch it. Yeah. Yeah, so everybody can focus Creamy clicks I'm like a virgin when it comes to a keyboard like that Very creamy you know any of the taste you never had a typing class give Francis a taste. We'll come on talking about that. That's expensive I'm actually not what I call that was like 80 bucks. Really? Yeah, not that bad You just said it was expensive. Charlie said that Kirk said that I mean, you know, he's he's the guy. It doesn't seem Come on. I haven't I haven't begun my like Churchill phase of life. I haven't I haven't that hasn't found me yet I think that's another couple years, right? I've been doing World War one Yeah, he was still an arch-dude friend for today. Well, I was gonna say I've been doing the confederate war But that can't be true given that I completely confused the British flag for the confederate flag Yeah, where that shows your opinion on World War one the good guys were there you go Yeah, yeah, I think this weekend could start my love affair with Winston Churchill. Yeah, there's a so many books have been written about him It did start your love affair. Oh, I did and now I'm in love with him and I I'm gonna give you this a guards on Thursday The last lion I think that was The one that was written by the guy who did in the Garden of Beasts, which is great They said that Winston Churchill can you look up his drinking schedule because I'm pretty sure that he would have like Tall glass of rum before his feet hit the floor in the morning. Yeah, he was like the drunkest human being 730 wake up read the papers first first week whiskey in soda Just he'd call it as mouthwash alongside breakfast and then by 11 o'clock he was in the Garden having a sip of another week whiskey By one o'clock. He was a multi-course lunch with a full pint or bottle of Full Roger champagne. Oh my god, and a glass glass of cognac or brandy to wash it down 330 he had another glass of cognac followed by more whiskey before bed And then he would take a one and a half hour nap at five o'clock before he'd wake up and then have another whiskey This is like Hunter S Thompson shit. This is fucking insane another pint of champagne a pint of champagne an important brandy at eight And then at midnight or two o'clock he would have more fucking cognac Legend, I believe that's like what everyone was doing back then though, right? No That's overkill. Sounds perfect. Somebody added down to a perfect routine added down to a silence down to like exactly when he's napping at five That's like the guy eating schedule And you got to keep in mind these are weak whiskies. Yeah. This is like J. Well J. Well do your blunt schedule compared to the compared to this I know who the fuck y'all talking about I'm not so sure What's happening here? Yo, are you are you are you awake up and you're smoking right when you wake up? Are you like to ease in? No, I get straight to get straight to love that J. Well, it just doesn't really sleep. Oh really? Not much. Hmm. How many hours like y'all? He's not like these fucking bombs. Yeah How many hours are you getting tonight? Oh, about five six. Yeah, but you said you kind of do like a series of maps. Yeah, it's not like six straight ever I think that's how it used to be ever not even never in your life. Oh, I have before. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Not anymore though. But you gave that shit up I think it used to be like you would sleep for a little bit wake up for a little bit and then sleep for a little bit I think like the eight hours of sleep. I don't know. That's like the industrial revolution or some shit like that I could use to sleep like these guys. Yeah. Yeah. Not anymore. That was before you got your life together. Right. Yeah. Right. Now that weed is no longer a problem in the NBA Right. I don't think it is. No. I mean, guys are very open about it KD is right perpetually high Um, and it's in is open about that. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Um, what are you giggling at? Is there a guy who has the right? Is there a guy who has a reputation in the NBA as being like the the best weed guy? Like what do you mean the best weed guy like the guy who can The most smoke the most like the Snoop Dogg or the Wiz Khalifa of the NBA. Yeah. I don't know who that would be. I'm not sure. I'm never Smith. I'm never
Yeah, I feel like that would be scary to be it was like to what 20,000 people watching fucking high is she. I mean, he's not like that's not like he took a little edible. That's like he hit the bomb. I don't know. He hit the glass. I don't know how he could still be that hot during the time. All right. I don't understand. You might have reupped it half time. That's not marijuana. I don't think I can't be. I remember. Did you ever see that Netflix special of earthquake. No, no. Really good medium. Yeah. It was produced by Chappelle and Chappelle before it began did sort of a preamble about it. He's on stage introducing earthquake and or it was like in a different room. And he he's like the first time I met this guy was in a green room for comedy. And he was rolling up blunts one after another like a master earthquake. Yeah. That's what that's what Chappelle said. And that's stuck with me was that someone who could just one after another smoked one after blunt is that's seen as a sign of mastery. Well, at certain point you're not really getting any higher. That's what I think. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And it just neutral. Just like buddy one getting drunk no more. Yeah. Yeah. The beat. Yeah. Yeah. He was worried about getting sober. Yeah. He's worried about not being drunk. Yeah. He's not getting more drunk. Maybe more of a guy. Yeah. Does he used to drink it all right. Yeah. People do say that like that was like a like a root song like talking about master your high. People do you're supposed to master your high. But I don't think that's being a master of rolling. You want to be in control. Just being in control. Yeah. Not being a spaz when you get high as fuck. Not letting your thoughts run away with you and watching yourself in the mirror from two inches away for 45 minutes straight thinking about something that happened in middle school. I mean, I feel like that's just comes from people like people. I feel like people when they smoke weed for like the first time this smoke weed like they like. If you go out drinking with people that drink a lot, you're not going to try to keep up drinking with those people. You know what I mean? Like if you went out, if I went out, I haven't drank in a while. If I went out with Shane, I'm not going to be drinking the same amount of beers as Shane, right? But like if you went and smoked weed with someone, you just smoke people smoke weed like like it's the like they smoke weed all the time. Every time like absurdly hot. And they're like, oh my God, I hate weed. And it's like, well, you just smoked the amount that you smoke and you've never smoked weed before. Right. I feel like people are just constantly overdosing. Yeah. They're putting like 450 pounds on the bar trying to bench press. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. And then there were they're confused why they're anxious. And it's like you just took a fucking hero dose. Yeah. Yeah. That's a nasty feeling. Well, I think Jay will have to be up there. I don't know if that's nasty to say for me, but you have to be up there in one of the like your master Snoop Dogg of Snoop Dogg of the NBA. You're a master of it. Yeah. Well, I appreciate that. Don't you think? I don't know. I'm not counting. Which makes it even cooler. You know, you're not competing with anybody. Because it probably is someone in the NBA that is counting. Well, for sure. And like, I've been high way more times than you've been high for games. Just getting in weird arguments. I just don't know how anybody could. I don't know how anybody could be high during a game. No, I have no idea unless they're smoking. You never played like pick up football high or like some shit like that. You never played any sport high. It's probably safe to say that I've done everything in life high. But like the game starts at seven, you got to be at the gym before you're just saying there's no place to do it. Like, yeah, how would you still be high? Yeah. Half life of marijuana is only about two hours. Hmm. You only get high. You don't get, you know what I mean? You don't get high for more than two hours. You smoke weed. You'll be on high in two hours. Yeah. Right? I don't know. Never let it get to that. Never find out, never hope to find out. Right. Just slip into a bathtub. That's right. Coca-Cola offsets the offsets the weed gives you a little bit of a buzz. By the time you get out of the tub, roll one up. Right. The friend of mine was talking about his friend that works at it. It worked that it may be an Amazon warehouse and he would pour a bud light and an energy drink into the same like Stanley Cup and go to work. Oh, yeah. Is that what the story was? Energy drink and a beer mixed together? Yeah, together. It's like having a Coca-Cola in a blunt, you know? It is not. It's not significantly worse. So I can't imagine like the taste of an energy drink mixing with a beer. It's got to just be terrible. I wonder what wins. I bet the energy drink wins over the beer. But the beer is really strong taste. That's how you can taste it in like when you have like pulled pork and shit. You know, you get that you get the alcohol taste. Like it doesn't go away. It's hard to mask. Well, if you have a really light beer, but it's not like I think you could I think you would have an easier time masking the taste of like hard alcohol than you would a beer. I respectfully disagree. Well, I have to test it out. How are you going to test it out? With your sober. I'll have to get on sober. I'm going to drink again just for this experiment. You're going to eat it and pull pork. Yeah. It's probably not the best way to come back to drinking with an energy drink. Energy, energy beer, energy beer in my sandwich. That is going to be fantastic. Go on, damn crisis. When are you going to get out on the on the links with J. Will? Yeah, we got to do that. We've been trying to make that happen. It's going to be in Florida. It's going to be in Florida in November. Okay. That sounds good. There it is. We can't talk about it, but J. Will and I were both participants in the internet imitation. Exactly. I would think that'll come out in like a month maybe. I don't know exactly. I'm thinking November, November. So perfect time for you guys to golf together. Yeah. You guys could do a little walk along while you're golfing. Break down the internet imitation while you're playing. Oh, like a shot for shot recreation or something like that. Here's like a viewing party with weed. Sure. Yeah. What a smoke along. Sure. Yes. As long as you come and mix the energy drink with the beer. Yeah. Yeah. I'm down. I'm down. He's a big weed guy too, though. Big. Not as much as I am. Energy drink and beer. It took me a full year and a half of the podcast of constantly hitting the fact that he is a big weed guy for him to finally come to terms and admit that he's all you try to keep it from folks. I'm just not like. Yeah. I'm not kind of saying what am I keeping score? I'm just saying. I'm somewhere along the line. You started volunteering it. You started keeping score. You pulled out your little baseball score card and you started notching down every time that you hit a doobie. It doesn't sound like me every time you hit the glass. Sound like you guys are doobie watching. Don't doobie watch. Yeah. Those are sleeping all day. Exactly. Yeah. They're trying to bring us down. They're trying to bring us down to the level. I'm just saying I should have I should have been less aggressive in saying all that because you you came to it on your own. And it's like it maybe if I had done that less, you would have been honest about coming out. Right. Exactly. Yeah. Maybe show. Maybe miss new doobie. Yeah. Yeah. So looking forward to the watch. You guys do that. Looking forward to your guys game. And Jay will. Thanks for coming on, bro. That shit was sick. I'm going to be in Columbus this weekend. So please buy tickets to that. See you then. Buy two. Yeah. Buy two. Buy two. Buy two. Buy two. You know, bring some one. Bring a joint and bring some weed. Yeah. Bring some weed. Yeah. All right. We'll see you guys on Thursday. Goodbye.
