Speaker 1To God be the glory. Turn with me to the book of Titus, chapter 3, verse 7. Titus 3, verse 7. It says that being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. So I speak on a subject, justified to inherit. Justified to inherit. The Bible says that being justified by his grace. We should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Hallelujah. The Bible says that we are being justified by his grace. Such a sweet word. Being justified by his grace. Slap your chest and say, I am justified by his grace.
Speaker 2Justified by his grace.
Speaker 1Being justified. Being justified. The Bible is saying that. That you are justified by his grace. It's a word. It's a word. You come across the word justified and the word righteous. They are the same. The same. They are the same words. You see, the Bible is not saying we are forgiven by his grace. But this verse says we are justified by his grace. Yeah. Forgiveness is a cardinal doctrine in the New Testament. That is what we are called to preach. This verse is saying we are justified by his grace. That is another level altogether. So, to be forgiven means that you did something wrong, you sinned, and you were pardoned for the wrong you did. That is forgiveness. But that is different from being justified. When you go to the court of law and you are justified, it means that. It means not guilty. Not guilty. Acquitted. Free from guilt. Now, after the judge had finished the case, judged everything, if you are innocent, it means you didn't commit a crime. Therefore, you are innocent. There is nothing wrong you've done. That is why you are declared not guilty. Because previously, you've done nothing wrong. So, you are declared not guilty. That is a word to be justified. Understand. And the word justified means you have not sinned. Justified means you have never sinned. See, forgiveness means you sinned and you were cleared of your guilt. You were forgiven. But justified actually means you have never sinned. So, to be justified means you are a righteous man who has never sinned. You see how witty it is. You are a righteous man who has never sinned. But, if you look into yourself, you can testify that you have sinned on Monday, you've sinned on Tuesday, you've sinned on Wednesday, you've sinned on. Some years ago, I heard a preacher preaching and the preacher said, the preacher said, you've sinned on Monday, you've sinned on Tuesday, you've sinned on Wednesday, you've sinned on Thursday, you've sinned on Friday, you've sinned on Saturday, and on Sunday, you add gin to it and you sing. So, you realize that you cannot say you have never sinned. Not for one day. That is why, look at what the scripture says, being justified by his grace. The reason why you are being justified, or you are justified is by his grace. It can never be by your works. So, grace means that you have been declared not guilty only by his unmerited favor. You have been declared not guilty only by his grace. That means that it was not earned by your obedience. You did not merit it. You did not deserve it. It was something that came on you, favor you never deserved. So, not guilty or being declared not having sinned was not because you have not sinned. It was because it is by God's grace. And God gave his grace to us based on something that he did. The holy transaction. Can I get two people here for illustration? All right. It's good you are in white. So, you represent Jesus. Many sins. Okay. Pastor Corbett said this is his many sins. Sinning, shits, intents, and tongues. Okay. So, this is Jesus. Okay. Jesus, you can face them. You see that he is white. He is holy. He is undefiled. He is harmless. Separate from sinners. Made higher than the heavens. He is so pure that the Bible says that he knew no sin. He is so holy that the Bible says he did no sin. He is so holy that the Bible says, we know that he was manifested to take away our sins. And in him is no sin. When he stood before the supreme court in the days of Pilate, who presided over the court of his day, Pilate looked at him and he said, this was his verdict. I find no fault in him. One day, Jesus himself said, which of you convinced me of sin? Which of you can prove to me that I have sinned? Nobody could raise his hands. Even his enemies could not testify that he has sinned. So, Jesus was pure and holy within us. Praise God. Jesus was pure and holy within us. Jesus is the standard for righteousness. Then we come to you. So, you were born in sin. And you were shapen in iniquity. Iniquity has taken shape in you. Shapen and sharpened in iniquity. Aha. So, you are full of sin. Yeah. Yeah. You are full of sin. Okay. So, now, this was what happened on the cross. I'm explaining 2 Corinthians 5 verse 21. He has made him to be sinful for us who knew no sin. Oh, my. That we might be made the righteousness of God in him. So, now, this was the place of the Son of God. And this was your place. You know what happened. Why are you? I'm just explaining why the Bible says we are justified by grace. So, you being declared righteous is not by your works. You being declared righteous is not by your obedience. You being declared righteous has nothing to do with your behavior. It's a gift. A free gift that came by the bestowal of grace. And this is the reason. Jesus is perfectly righteous. Jesus is a perfect sinner. In God's holy transaction, you know what happened? The Bible says that he knew no sin. So, he came and took your place. And took all your sins. All your judgment. All your curse. All your condemnation. Everything from birth to death. He took everything on him. The sinless took your place. When he took your place, God saw him as you. He didn't do any sin. He had not committed one sin. But on the cross, God was not seeing him. He was seeing you. So, God saw him as you. And dealt with him severely as though he was dealing with you. God did not spare him. Aha. God never spared him. God even turned his back to him. And forsook him. And the holy fire of his wrath came upon him. For all. Because God was dealing with you. You are the one he was seeing. So, if there is a transaction, impartial justice must be right. God is, his justice is infinite. He is infinite justice. Or you can call it inexorable justice. He is impartial. So, he has to fulfill the holy transaction. After Jesus took your place. And receive what you deserved. God now, he became sin. Not even a sinner. He became sin itself. But he knew no sin. It is only right for God to give him the place of Jesus. So, now, he has now been brought to the place of Jesus. That is why now God sees him righteous, justified, as though he has never sinned, free, acquitted. Why? Because someone has taken his place. He took his place that he might take his place. You understand? Jesus never did any sin, but he became sin. And he didn't do any righteousness, but he has become righteousness. And right now, his righteousness is his righteousness. So, his righteousness is his righteousness because he has taken his place. So, your righteousness is Jesus' righteousness. So, when he sees you, he just sees you as his son. Pure, holy, innocent, as his son. Just as a gift. So, we are justified by grace. Hallelujah. That's the gospel. That's what the cross was meant for. Praise God. So, the Bible says that being, now, we might be made the righteousness of God. Now, we are made. He took my place that I might take his place. He received all I deserved that I might receive all he deserves. Praise God. The human acceptance is not like divine acceptance. Some years ago, I think many years ago, something happened in New York. There was a man by name Isidore. Isidore Zemehman. He was arrested. And he served 25 years of prison sentence for something he had not done. And I think of 25 years. And from the year 2000 to 2005. I mean, he served 25 years sentence for something he had not done. It was the 25th year that he realized that he did it. So, he was convicted of having killed a New York policeman. But later on, they discovered that after 25 years, the 25th year, it's not true. He was not the one who did it. So, he was cleared of all charges. And he was released. And he was released from prison. But when he went out, this is what happened. He tried to get a job. The first job he got was a very nice job. After some weeks, this employer found out that he was an ex-convict. The moment the information came, he sacked him from the job. And he could not recover from or escape the job. The stigma of being an ex-convict. Every charge against him had been cleared. But the society never accepted him. He went to the second job. He worked for a while. And they discovered he's an ex-convict. They fired him. Job after job, wherever he went, he wasn't accepted. Just because he was an ex-convict. He served the sentence for something he never did. That's what man is. Yeah. No acceptance. Although he came back from prison, there was no restoration to favor. Every charge had been cleared. But there was no acceptance. That's how man is. But let me tell you our story. We have been declared not guilty. Not only that. After being declared not guilty, God has brought us to become heirs. So we can inherit. So many things left for us to inherit. So what it means is that after being justified, the Bible says that being justified by grace, we should be made heirs. So no justification, no heirship. Justified, you are an heir. So we are justified to be able to inherit. So our justification. It qualifies us to inherit. What are you inheriting? Now that you've taken his place, whatever belongs to him is now yours. When he took your place, whatever belongs to you, he bore it and he bore the punishment. So the Bible says, oh my. Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom also we have access. By faith, into this grace, wherein we stand and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. See Romans 5:1 and 2. The Bible says when we are justified by faith, the first thing is that we have peace with God. Then the Bible says that we have access, by faith, into a certain favor ground where we stand. We now stand on favor ground and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. To rejoice in the hope of the glory of God means that, from now that you are cleared of all guilt and justified, your future is glory. You see, the moment you are justified, there is no shame in your future. You know what is in your future? The moment you are justified, you have, the word hope means confident expectation of good. The moment you are justified, see some of you are afraid of generational cases, are afraid of something that happened to this person, that's what happened to me, so your future is full of gloom, full of fear, maybe this will happen, or that will happen, or maybe my marriage will not go well, because so so and so, if I count all the divorces in my house, I think I'm the next victim. So all you see is shame, disappointment. Let me tell you something, the moment you are justified, it says we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Hope is in the future, your future is glory, your future is glory, your future is bright, your future is beautiful. If you know what glory is, it says once you are justified, keep rejoicing, because your future is the glory of God. There is glory in your future. Now if you believe what I'm saying, you'll see glory, but there are those who don't believe it, and they don't see the glory. Your future is glory. And now, we are justified to inherit whatever belongs to Jesus, belongs to you. It's amazing, for instance, the moment you are justified, you are, once you inherit, you have too many things. Okay, you inherit his life, that's why we have eternal life. You inherit his spirit, that's why you have the Holy Ghost. You inherit his peace, that's why it says peace I leave you. In the Greek, peace I bequeath to you as an inheritance. So, he bequeathed his peace, so you can have his peace. That kind, that can cause you to sleep in the midst of storms and troubles and circumstances. Yeah, yeah. But all your peace is gone, just because of what one lecturer said. All your peace is gone, just because of broken heart, yeah. All your peace is gone because your roommate
Speaker 2refused to sweep
Speaker 1the room for three days. but he might become rich. Yeah. He shall take off mine and show it to you. Because all that the Father has is mine. We are joined as with Jesus. We can have his help. Whatever belongs to him, now belongs to us. Which are rich inheritance. Hallelujah. But I like the verse. The verse says that Titus 3 verse 7. Being justified by grace we should be made as a malucarous according to the hope of eternal life. Listen. The greatest decision in life is you receiving Jesus Christ as Savior. Nothing can be compared to that. It's the best of the best. Praise God. Listen. When you receive Jesus, you receive eternal life. The life of God is in you. You see, there is no hope for the human life. The human life will end in a grave. Decay, decompose. That's where it ends. But there's another life. There's another life. Which we have received in our spirit. That is the Zoe life. The Ionos is a way. God's own life. And the Bible says that for this life there is hope. For the human life, there is no hope. All believers have no hope. They are buried. The believer is not buried. The believer is sown. When I put corn on the ground, I've not buried it. It is sown. When I put glass on the ground, I've buried it. Because it is sown. It is lifeless. The believer is not buried, though. We are sown. It is sown in weakness. It is raised in power. It is sown in dishonor. It is raised in glory. It is sown in a natural body. It is raised in a spiritual body. God. So there is life. But the Bible says that this eternal life all of us have, has hope. There is something we are expecting because of what we have received. It's part of our inheritance. Eternal life is God's quality of life. Who God is in himself. So what it means is that for what we have now and what we are going to we are inheriting God and what God has. There is such depth in God that in all of eternities we will be inherited. Then also eternal life deals with we have the ages of the ages. Eternities of the eternities. We have the never ending ages of a glorious eternity. Think of one billion years from now. In all the eternities what would I end? All the inexhaustible treasures and riches God has stored for you. There are inexhaustible the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness. So much he has taught for us to inherit apart from this life. That is waiting for us to inherit. Your future is bright. Eternity. What you are going to inherit in eternity is amazing. It's amazing. Praise God. The wonders of heaven and the wonders of the millennial reign in the ages to come. What God has for us is mind-blowing. Now listen. He says we should be made as a man. Say according. So you know what? According to the hope of eternal life. That's what I'm talking about. All the inexhaustible riches in the ages of the ages or the eternities of the eternities to come. All the wealth and all the inexhaustible treasures. You know what God has done? He has lined it up to you. Now according doesn't mean a portion. It means proportion. Now let me explain. Now. Let's say that all the eternities the wealth that is the wealth there let's say all the wealth of the eternities is let's say hundred trillion dollars. You know that's a joke. God does not give you a portion. God does not give you one billion dollars. If God gives you one billion dollars out of the hundred trillion dollars God has given you a portion. Of the inheritance. But God hasn't given you a portion. The inheritance is in proportion to all the wealth that he has taught for you. That means everything is yours. Hallelujah. He lines up for you all the hundred trillion. So we have so much in this life in the hereafter. Hallelujah. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Praise God. Praise God. Romans chapter 5. Romans chapter 5 verse 15. See I'm justified to inherit. When we get to heaven some of you realize that oh you were justified but you inherited only one percent. Of all that Jesus had for you. Yeah. And you think you have done well then the books are open and you realize you only inherited five percent. Because you didn't believe the word to work in health. Okay. You didn't believe the word to work in peace. You didn't believe the word to work in fellowship with the spirit. You didn't believe the word to work in prosperity. You didn't believe the word to work in joy. You didn't believe the word to fulfill your sermon. All of these things are at our disposal. Praise God. You make your life glorious. Okay. Romans 5:15. But not as the offense so also is the free gift. For if through the offense of one many be dead much more the grace of God and the gift by grace which is by one man Jesus Christ has abounded unto me. Praise God. I want you to follow me carefully. I start by saying but. You know you can't begin a sentence with but. You understand? I know you are scholars here. Because if you say but it seems like a contrast to something. So to get a full meaning we have to go back. Let's go back. It says that nevertheless. This one also takes us forward. But I don't want us to go forward. We'll keep going. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses. Even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression who was the figure of him that was to come. Here the Bible says Adam is the figure of him that was to come. Now this verse is telling us that there's some similarities between Adam and Christ. That's what he's saying. There are similarities between Adam and Christ. He's saying that Adam is a figure of Christ who was to come. Or Adam is a type of Christ who was to come. Or Adam is a picture of Christ who was to come. So there are similarities between Adam and Christ. Praise God. That is verse one. That is verse 14. Praise the Lord. Okay. Christ, can you come again? Adam. All right. So you are Christ. All right. So. No, you share it, you share it. All right, so you hold it for a long time. I'm sorry, I'm sorry for that. Okay. So this is Christ. And this is what? Adam. No wonder the colors for Christ is more resplendent. And the colors for Adam, you can see sun, sun, sun. Because. So the Bible says that this man, this man was a picture of this man. Now there are some similarities between Adam and Christ. What was the similarities? The similarities is that they are all federal systems. Adam is a federal head. So Christ is a federal head. What does it mean? Adam was made a corporate person, a collective entity. He was made a corporate, a corporate person, a collective entity. What it means is that by the time God made Adam, Adam was made a corporate person, a collective entity. By the time God made Adam, he has finished creating every human being. Creation is different from birth. I'm not saying every human being was born, but by the time God made Adam, everyone had been created. And God put everyone in Adam's body. So we were all seminally in Adam. So he became a corporate man, a federal head of his creation, called the old creation. So he was the head. And because we're all in him, whatever happens to your head has happened to you. So when he sent, you were not born, you had sent. yeah whatever happened to him has happened to you when he was condemned you were born condemned when judgment came upon him judgment came upon you when the case came upon him the case came upon you whatever happens to your federal head has happened to you because all of us were what in him that's adam and the same thing happened to christ as the second federal head praise god Now, on the cross, he became the last Adam. The last Adam means that, you know how God did? You know, God put all of us in Adam. On the cross, God reversed the whole thing and put everything in Christ. So when he was dying, you were dying. When he was crucified, you were crucified. We're all in him. When he was being raised, we were raised. That's what God did. That's what the Bible says, we died with him, but you know you were not born. This is a spiritual thing. But he rose up as the head of a new creation. He's the head of the church, a new creation. Now, as a federal head, whatever happened to him has happened to us. So when, no, when he died, we died. When he was buried, we're buried. When he was raised, we're, and has raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ. When, you see, when he sinned, you have sinned. So whatever happened to Christ has now happened to you. When he was accepted, you were accepted. So we are now accepted in his acceptance. To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he has made us accepted in the beloved. So whatever has happened to him has happened to you. So you know how you can be rejected as a Christian, if he is rejected? Because your acceptance is his acceptance. You understand? You were not made sinner because you sinned. You were made a sinner because. He disobeyed. You are not made righteous because you were obedient. You are righteous because he obeyed. That is Romans 5 verse 19. It's there. Romans 5 verse 19. Look at what he said. For by one man's disobedience, many were made sinners. So they were not sinners because they sinned. They were sinners because of this man's disobedience. So by one man's obedience. shall many be made righteous. So you are righteous because of one man's. You are not righteous by your obedience as a verb. You are righteous because of his obedience. Praise God. So the similarities between Adam and Christ is that they were all federal heads. Praise God. Verse 15. But not as the offense. So is the free gift. But, now, verse 15 is the similarities between Christ and Adam. Verse 14. But verse 15 says, but. Now verse 15 is talking about the contrast between Adam and Christ. I follow him. The first similarities, but, verse 15, is talking about the differences between them. Now what is the difference between Adam and Christ? He says, but not as the offense, so also is the free gift. What he's saying is that Adam brought the offense. Jesus brought the free gift. Are you following? Adam, so he's talking about what each of them brought. He's telling us the differences between them. This man, Adam, brought him what is called the offense. Christ brought him the free gift. Can I get two additional people? Wait, wait. Blue, Christ, come. But you can't be writing. So you have to take the message after. You have to take the message after. So you sit, you stand here. And show the free gift. So you see,
Speaker 2what a sense.
Speaker 1So, this man produced the offense. What he brought us was the offense. What Christ brought us was the free gift. Now, the word offense means transgression. It was his transgression. It was his sin. That's what we are talking about. His sin. His transgression. His transgression. I want us to learn some Greek tonight. Some Greek tonight. Now you see, in a Greek, if a word is mentioned in a Greek, with the suffix ma, m-a. So, that is it. Ma. All right. Ma. When you see a word in Greek, and it has a, not a prefix, the suffix ma. Ma. Sounds like your mother, right? Ma. Ma. It means that, the word that is mentioned is resulting in something. It's going to produce something. The word is mentioned, but what is mentioned is going to yield a certain effect, a resultant effect. If it is positive, it is going to produce a certain kind of benefit. So, the word that is mentioned is going to produce a certain result, or it's going to produce a certain effect. When you see the word ma, where is God? Are you following me? Because we are going to use a lot of ma, ma, ma, ma, ma. So, all the ma means that the word you see actually produced something. It resulted in something. There was something it gave birth to. It issued forth something. There was an effect, a resultant effect. Hallelujah. Okay. Now, the word for offense is the word haraptuma. No. Haraptuma. Haraptuma. Where is God? So, haraptuma. What does it mean? It means that Adam sinned. But the offense is haraptuma. That means that ah, you are, you are. So, the same. That's it. He is testifying. So, the offense brought forth something. It had an effect. Now, what did that result in? Back to our verse. Not as the offense, so also is the free gift. For if through the offense of one, many be dead. You see. So, the offense, haraptuma. Ma. Resulted in something. Okay. So, it says that if through the offense of one, many be dead. Now, let me read this in original Greek, okay? It says, if through the offense of the one, the many be dead. So, there are different articles there. If through the offense of the one. He's telling us that it is really, really Adam. And it says, the many. Because the many is describing everyone who was created in Adam. So, specifically, the many. All of them died through his offense. Hallelujah. I need someone to represent death. Yellow, yellow, not yellow. I wish I
Speaker 2could have a duck.
Speaker 1No, duck, duck, duck. You're also too nice. You're tired. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Praise God. Now, so Adam brought the offense, the paraptoma, which resulted in death. And the Bible says that all who were in Adam, through the offense of the one, the many, actually died. be dead. Now, he's describing what has happened to the human race. The many be dead. Now, ordinarily, the word for death is thanatos in Greek. It's thanatos. That has to remind you of something. Thanos. Thanos was death himself. Because when thanatos in Greek speaks of more of the personification of death, death as a noun. Thanos. Thanatos. Yeah. But this word here is the word apothnesco. Apothnesco. Apothnesco. It's a word for death, but it's a different word. And I want to explain why. Apothnesco. So, from two words. Apo and thanesco. Thanesco is the word for perish. So, I'm explaining death. Perish. Perish. Apo means away or distance. What it means is that when man, through the fall, the fall brought man away from God. There was a distance. It brought man away from God. The further man went away from God, man perished. Yeah. So, the distance from God actually caused man to perish. Now, when the Bible says perish, it is very wide. Perish is not only loss of but loss of well-being. The word perish is not only when you lose your being. But when you lose your well-being. The word perish is you are in the realm of death. For instance, if you lose your peace, you are losing your well-being. When you lose your peace, you are losing your well-being. So, that's when you are moving to the realm of death. If you lose your joy, you are losing your well-being. You enter to the realm of death. You lose your health. You are losing your well-being. There is no sound mind. No wisdom. Poverty and lack. No fellowship with God. So, So, it's the action of dying. Obviously, it is to finally end in the ultimate death. Which is ha. Eternal death. Ha. Lick of fire and all of that. But the word is broad. So, those who are on earth in Adam are actually experiencing apothnesco. Aha. So, because the offense brought all of us to this place. So, every day you live in soul. Every day you are not happy. Every day murmuring. Every day complaining. Every day lack. Every day sickness. Every day fear. Every day selfishness. No love. You know that realm is the realm of death. That is where the unbeliever is supposed to live. Not you. Praise God. Glory to God. That is this realm. Glory to God. That is this realm. now a desk represents a tree in the Greek a tree whose sap is dried out and whose leaves are withered and the life of a tree is just sap out you know the Bible says the tree is man's life Deuteronomy 20 verse 19 so if your leaves are withered, withered leaves speaks of sicknesses and diseases yeah, leaf stands for health in the Bible and when the tree is dried and there's no sap your life is sap out you are supposed to be enjoying your life in Christ life in Christ is a high life even when there are no coins in your pocket you should be rejoicing and know glory yeah even when your health is breaking you don't complain like others you know there are symptoms, you are not a sick person there are symptoms of a healthy person hallelujah God alright so the Bible says that not as the offense so also is a free gift let's go back to our verse, yes for if through the offense of the one, the many be dead okay praise God hallelujah let me come here a little so not as the offense so also is a free gift now Adam brought the offense but Jesus brought what? the free gift the free gift this is what humanity, mankind is experiencing they are all in this realm in this zone of death loss of well-being people have lost their well-being yeah so I want to show you where you are supposed to be yeah yeah but the word free gift here is the word charisma charisma you know charisma now what is charisma? grace charisma is grace okay the ma is the result of grace so let me explain something the gifts of the spirit in 1 Corinthians 12 are called charisma okay so for instance let's say that the gifts of the spirit are called charisma charisma is just operating the gifts of the spirit is just the grace of God coming upon you so charisma means that the grace of God comes upon you the grace the same grace comes upon you but that grace comes upon you to interpret tongues so the result of the grace coming upon you is an interpretation of tongues so it becomes a charisma yosses the grace comes upon you to prophesy it's the same favor but the resultant effect is unique to you the ma is just causing you to prophesy so that grace comes upon you it's the same charisma but the grace the ma for you is working of miracles okay okay so grace comes upon you to yield a certain effect hallelujah so the bible says that not as the offense so also is the free gift the charisma now the grace what is the free gift the charisma the charisma the free gift came and it issued for righteousness righteousness who's going to become a justification whites hallelujah so let's see the verse again so you see he says that for if through the offense of one many be dead much more the grace of god and the gift by grace which is by one man jesus christ has abandoned to many now when you go to the next verse let's go to the next verse and i'll come back verse 16 it says but the free gift is of many offenses unto justification you understand justification is the same as righteousness so the free gift actually gave us what righteousness or justification let's go back to verse 15 so are you here with me so the grace of god came and brought us righteousness which is justification but the explanation is here it says that much more comparing much more the death adam brought to humanity for us to perish and lose our well-being it says that that's the negative but much more much more much more when it says much more it means that now with more is now gained than lost if our deficit if we're owing one billion dollars now what is gained here is the grace of god it's 100 trillion dollars because the word much more means innumerable uncounted differences Differences you cannot count. So, much more, the grace of God. Look at the words. The grace of God and the gift. Now, it's not by, the Greek says N-E-N. The gift in grace. So, we see grace. The grace of God and the gift by grace. The gift is sandwiched with grace. You see grace. Have you eaten sandwich before? There's bread on top. There's bread beneath. And, there's bacon. All in the middle. Okay. So, the first layer of bread is grace. The last layer of bread is grace. The middle is the gift. That's the righteousness. So, righteousness is actually sandwiched in grace. What it means is that the grace of God gives you righteousness. And when you receive righteousness, it ushers you into grace. Yes. Full of favor and full of grace. And now, you see, with this death, humanity has been, we've suffered with when death came in. You can see it in hospitals. You just visit five hospitals and see. Go to the emergency ward. You can see what death has done. The iron rule of death. The thralldom of death. See beggars on the street. You see hatred. Wars. All is what death did. But the Bible says that. Two words that impresses me concerning the free gift is that, you see, the word abounded and much more. It means that what Jesus has done is far beyond what the devil has done through Adam. Because here, we find much more. Can you imagine? So, people always see the negative side of life. But now we have the much more and abounded. The word perissio, abounded means a degree that exceeds extraordinary. That means that much more. If in the negatives, you suffered ill health. Now, the health, you have much more. More blessing. Not just healing, but health. The blessing here is enormous. Do you know that if the offense brought death and the free gift brought righteousness, you know what it means? Righteousness is the reversal of death. I'm telling you, righteousness is the reversal of death. The Bible says, in the way of righteousness is life. In the pathway, there is no death. Proverbs. The way of righteousness is life. So, I'm telling you that this death brought all the sorrows and all the heartaches and all the diseases and lack and all the hatred and depression and worries, fears and anxieties. And I'm telling you that the package of righteousness reverses everything here. You know, it doesn't just reverse it. It is much more. Abounding. There's a realm. When you are in this realm, I'm telling you, I'm telling you that you can live free from the effects of the decay that affects all creation. You can live in this realm and live in peace. You can live in this realm and live in joy. You can live in this realm and live a realm where the curse is reversed. It is called righteousness consciousness. Because here, we are told that more is gained than lost. This is the result of what Jesus did. And what Jesus did is far greater than what death brought to us. The chaos of humanity. I'm telling you, we have to march more in Christ. You can have much more joy, much more healing, much more health, much more prosperity, much more abundance, much more intimacy with God, much more life filled with purpose, much more power, much more grace. We have to march more, march more, march more, march more, march more, march more, march more. We can abound. We can exceed. We can excel. We can increase. We can live the good life. Jesus died for. Jesus did not die in vain. Jesus died for a reason. He died for the reason of righteousness.
Speaker 3Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believe it.
Speaker 1I'm telling you, you can work in goodness. You can work in power. You can work in prosperity. You can work in joy. The good life he brought us is in righteousness. You have to know your righteousness. You have to know your justification. We are justifications.
Speaker 3You are justified to inherit. All of these are part of our inheritance. Glorious inheritance. You can have the spirit life. You can have friendship with God. Everything is here.
Speaker 1Everything is here. This is what Jesus brought us. If you can know from the book what is yours in righteousness. Hallelujah. March more. If you are having a headache tonight, just smile at the headache and say, "Much more." Much more. Much more. He has brought me much more. Yeah. Or you think your life is going to be a mess. It's a lie. It doesn't matter the family background you've come from. Much more. It doesn't matter whether your fees has not been paid. It doesn't matter whether you are struggling financially or. Much more. Much more. There is much more. Much more. Your future is the hope of the glory of God. Good things are laid in store for you. There is much more for us. Even if you have nothing and you are told the amount of money in your bank account. Although the money is not in your pocket. You start walking in joy. You walk in joy. You walk in joy. Now I'm telling you what is in your spiritual bank account. That spiritually you are not bankrupt. Spiritually the work of God is deposited in your bank account. So you can start rejoicing. Because joy is faith. And when you are in faith, good things come to you. Hallelujah. Listen. When you know these things and start walking in joy. You see the manifestation. You begin to see the manifestation. You know why? You see the manifestation when you are in joy. Because with joy shall you draw waters out of the wells of salvation. What it means is that you inherit by joy. By knowing what is yours. You are happy because joy means you believe it. You believe it. This is what righteousness gave us. Hallelujah. Praise God. Now let's go to verse 16. So there is another contrast here between Adam and Christ. But look at how he put it. It says, "And not as it was one that sent, so also is the gift." Now he calls. He doesn't call him Adam. He calls one that sent. That's how he calls him. He calls him one that sent. And it says, "So also is the gift." Now the gift here is the word "dorima." Dori-ma. Now it's different from charisma. Dori-ma. Can you show us dorima? Dorima. Dori-ma. All right. Now, what is dorima? There's a difference between charisma and dorima. Charisma, when I give you a gift. When I give you a gift, it's charisma. It's a free gift. But when I give myself to you, the person himself is dorima. So, the gift of speaking in tongues. The gift of interpretation of tongues. The gift of prophecy. All the gifts of the Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians 9, they are all charisma. But the Holy Spirit himself as a gift is dorima. Dorima. So now he says that, "Not as the one that sent, so also." He calls Christ the dorima. That means that, you see, this one, like this one. Because this one is actually a gift that was given to us. For us to receive his benefit. He was a gift. He himself was given to us. For what reason? To result in something. Hallelujah. That is the word dorima. So we have received Christ. And let's see what it says. "For the judgment was by one to condemnation." Are you following? And the Greek says, "For the krema was by one to catachrema." It seems difficult but it's simple. For the judgment. So now we've seen. This is the gift. This is the one that sent. Hallelujah. Now telling us the differences again. Concerning what came upon him and what he also brought us. So now he says, "For the judgment was by one to condemnation." This one brought judgment to condemnation. But the Greek is krema, the judgment is krema, condemnation is katakrema. What is krema? What is katakrema? So, judgment is krema, condemnation is what? Katakrema. Now, when you go to court, okay, and the judge passed judgment on someone and declares a person as guilty. The person isn't innocent. That verdict, that declaration upon the person, the pronouncement of the sentence on the person, declaring him not guilty is krema. It's krema. But you see, he's declared guilty because when you are guilty, it's going to surely end in something. It's going to surely result in something. So, the judge declares you guilty. Krema. So, Adam was declared guilty by the Supreme Court of the Universe. In final justice, declared Adam guilty because of his offense. So, the judgment came upon him, but that judgment, krema, resulted in katakrema. That means you've added kata to krema. So, they tell you that, okay, you are guilty, you are going to, you have to serve a life sentence at home with hard labor. So, that is a sentence. Okay. But katakrema, it has been pronounced, katakrema is when you actually get into the prison. It's not just a sentence, it's the experience of it. It is when the judgment, now, kata means to calm down you. So, now, the krema has now settled on you, and you can see you are in prison. You can see you are serving by hard labor. So, now, you are in katakrema. So, what happened was that Adam sinned, the offense death, and when he sinned, the krema came upon him. And he brought all human race to katakrema. So, all human race are serving a life sentence of judgment. A life sentence of hard labor. Seven sickness, seven diseases, seven lack, seven lust, seven sins, seven selfishness, seven hatred, seven fears, seven Satan, seven curses, seven depression. So, we are all brought into that prison from where we are experiencing the katakrema. That means the sentence is the execution of it. So, now, if you, like, go home and go and stand on the tall building and look around, you see people moving up and down, they're in a prison, seven, the katakrema. Katakrema. So, that is how the human race became. That is why, you should be angry. I'm telling you, you should be angry if every day you are sick. That's not a life Jesus gave you. You should be angry if every day you are walking in offenses, bitterness, unforgiveness. That is not a life he gave you. You are bringing yourself to katakrema. You see, you should be angry if all your life is bound in depression. Every day you are down. Every day you are complaining. No, no, no, no, no. You are seven katakrema. That's not your true life. You are living in falsehood. Falsehood. Praise God. Unbelievers are imprisoned. You are not imprisoned. They are seven life sentence. Aha. Paul says, for this cause, some are weak, some are sick, and others are falling asleep. We are judged so that we should not be condemned. We should not be katakrema with the world. People are in perpetual sickness and weaknesses. Katakrema. So, you have to be provoked and said, this is, no, Jesus has done something. I'm going to believe it and hold on to it. Hallelujah. Hold on to it. You conquer hatred with love. Conquer envy with love. Conquer selfishness with love. Conquer lack with giving and provision. Conquer malobat. Worry with peace. You see, when we leave the world, we try to subject ourselves to we are free. He made us free. Are you here with me? Okay, let's see the last part. Then he said, but the free gift is of many offenses unto justification. That means the free gift, the charisma is of many offenses. You know, it dealt with all our offenses. It set it aside and dealt with it and gave us, Dikaioma. There's another ma here. You see, so these are the verses of ma. Ma, ma, ma, ma, ma. Dikaioma. The righteousness is actually Dikaiu. You can find out what Dikaiosune. Dikaiu. But here, the ma has been added to tell you something. That you see, we have been freed from all our, offenses, all the offense. Jesus came and freed us from all of it and brought us Dikaioma. You know what it means? It's too much. It's too much. Now, we are justified. You know the illustration I did? You have never sinned before. A place God sees you, you never sinned. Because God is seen as a son. Because you've taken the place of a son. Because his son took your place. When he took your place, he saw you and saw the son. But now, he's seen you as a son. Because we are in Christ. He's seen you. So, being justified. We're not only justified, but there's a ma. Dikaioma. Dikaioma. That is talking about the benefits of righteousness. When we're justified, all the results, all the effects. So, you know what we have received? This is what it's called. The inheritance of righteousness. Righteousness gives us the benefit of righteousness. Dikaioma. You have received the ma. The result. The resultant effect. The benefit. So, once you are justified, that's not only the end. There are so many things. So many things. So many things. Have you ever read? In righteousness shall thou be established, and thou shalt be far from oppression. That's one of them. That's one of the ma. You'll be far from oppression. You know, it says no weapon formed against you shall be able to prosper. And every tongue that shall rise up against you, you shall condemn. For this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and the righteousness is of me. So, one of the ma's is that when you know you are justified, one of the ma's is that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. James 2.23. Abraham was justified, and he was called a friend of God. When he was justified, one of the ma's is that you become God's best friend. One of the ma's is that once you know you are justified, you and God are friends. God doesn't see you wrong, wrong, wrong. He sees you in Christ, in Christ, in Christ. Perfect, innocent. You can flow with God like you flow with your best friend. That's one of the ma's. My brother, my sister, there are a lot of ma's out of righteousness, justification. One of it, he says, that just as it is written, that just shall live by faith. The word live is za'ul. Literally, that just shall za'ul, by faith. The righteous by faith shall live. That's read the NET version. Those who are righteous by faith, they will live. That just is the righteous. The righteous by faith will live. That just, the word live is za'ul, which means recovery from sicknesses and diseases. If you know you are righteous by faith, you will recover. That's if you're not feeling well, start confessing your righteousness. I am the righteousness of God. Even if the pain is increasing, keep your confession. Even if the pain is putting you down, keep the confession. Listen, believe the word more than the feeling. Your feeling is unreal, but the word is true. Believe the word more than the symptoms. Hold fast the profession of your faith without wavering, for he is faithful that promised. So, you see the signs, but you hold on. If you are in a plane and they tell you to fasten your seatbelt, it means some turbulences are coming. The Bible says, hold fast your confession. That means sometimes, the more you are confessing, the more you see the signs, but don't mind the signs. Mind the word of God and keep confessing, I am the righteousness of God in Christ. And when you confess your righteousness, the life of God is released. The power of God is released because righteousness is the power of God unto salvation for everyone that believe it. As you confess righteousness, deliverance is released. Healing is released. Well-being is released. Wholeness is released. Whatever belongs to Christ is released to you because all of these are the packages in righteousness. - Yes. The heart of the man is vast. Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God. The work of righteousness shall be peace. And the effect of righteousness shall be quietness, assurance, and confidence forever. Isaiah 52, verse 17. That means once you are here, one of the must is that you can walk in peace. With peace, you are secured. There is no fear. So many blessings. In the house of the righteous, there is much treasure. That means you will not even get broke. The seed of the just shall be delivered. That means your children will be delivered if you know your righteousness. All your children shall be taught of the Lord and great shall be the shalom of your children. It's there. It's a promise in righteousness. Oh, what a blessing. So all the death here is reversed here. There is a good man here. There is a good man here, which has given us good benefits of life. Hallelujah. No matter what, confess this righteousness. Because all the benefits in Christ is here in your righteousness. Give the Lord praise. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. God bless you. God bless you, Adam. I can't say God bless your offense. I can't say God bless death. Jesus has dealt with all of you. You can please sit down. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Thank you, Jesus, for all that you did for us. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Yeah. So, are you serving Katakrema or the Kayoma? Which ma are you serving? Are you imprisoned to all that death brings? Or you are in a good prison? What are righteousness brings? A prison to favor the Kayoma. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Now, the last part of my message, I just want to show you how. But do you have an idea how
Speaker 2long the last part is
Speaker 1going to take? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. So, I want to show you how to boldly inherit. Take over your inheritance. Okay. Yes. So, there is a verse in the Bible, Numbers 27. Numbers 27. There was a certain man. His name was called Zelophehad. Zelophehad. Zelophehad. But this man didn't have a son. He had only daughters. He had five daughters. Five daughters. Praise God. Now, in those days, if a man has, let's say, five sons, and he has, let's say, three daughters, when he's making a will, the girls are not part of the inheritance. Yeah. The inheritance only goes to. The ladies. The guys cannot inherit. That's how it was. So, if you have, let's say, four girls and one boy, all the inheritance will go to the boy. The girls wouldn't have any inheritance. That was the law in those days. The dignity of ladies was only restored when Jesus died, actually. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, but this man, look at what happened. He had no sons. And I want to show you the fate of his daughters. It is something wonderful. Then came the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepha, the son of Gilead, the son of Mekah, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh, the son of Joseph. And these are the names of his daughters. Mala, Noah, Ogla, Milcah, and Teza. There's two before Moses, and before Eleazar, the priest, and before the princess, and all the congregation by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation saying, now, these girls are bold. You will not see this, but it's like, you know what it means here? It's like five girls calling the U.S. president and the U.S. Congress for a meeting. They were bold because, you see, they called Moses, Moses. Then they called a high priest. Everyone had died. Eleazar, the high priest. Then all the princes of the 12 tribes. And all the congregation, the whole Israel, to plead their case. Five girls. They must be bold. I don't know how long it took for them to, yeah, plan this. Called Moses and all of them. I thought they could have even seen Moses in private. I said, no. This one, I'm going to make it. I'm going to make it public. So they were bold. In fact, they inherited by their boldness. The name Zelophehad in Hebrew means shelter from fear. Shelter from fear. What can give you shelter from fear is your faith. Faith is your shelter from fear. Never be afraid. Fear is what causes us to disinherit what God has for us. They were bold. And let me show you what they did. So this is how they addressed the whole congregation. They said, our father died in the wilderness. And he was not in the company of them that gathered themselves against the Lord. In the company of Korah. But died in his own son and had no sons. Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family? Because he had no son. Give unto us, therefore, a possession among the brethren of our father. So if you don't take time, what will happen is that all the inheritance will go to his father's family. His father's family. And they, their sons, their daughters, will have nothing. That was what was done in those days. But the students said, no. I look at verse 3 again. I look at the manner in which they pled their case. They are going to plead for their inheritance. But this verse actually gives me some understanding. It says, our father died in the wilderness. So, their father died. Okay. And he was not in the company of them. Why that statement? He was not in the company of them that gathered themselves together against the Lord in the company of Korah. Now, there was a guy called Korah. In Numbers 16. This Korah stood against Moses' authority and said, who do you think you are? You are proud. You are exalting yourself above God's people. So, this guy gathered people and they went and spoke against Moses' authority. And the earth, you know what happened? The earth divided and swallowed up 250 people. And many died because of rebellion against God's authority. Moses was deputizing God's authority on earth. They spoke against him. So, these ladies said, our father was not part of them. You know why? That implies that those who partook in that rebellion, forfeited their inheritance. Yeah. Those who partook of that rebellion, forfeited their inheritance. Now, I want to show you one of the reasons why many cannot walk in their inheritance is rebellion against authority. Rebellion against authority. When people rebel against authority, they forfeit their inheritance. That's what they are saying. They had the right to claim their inheritance because of the fact that their father, their father didn't join the people who spoke against Moses and Moses had his authority. Yeah. So, wisdom will tell you that honor authority. Honor your pastor. Honor your parents. I'm telling you. If you want to enjoy the good things of life, honor your parents. Honor your mother. Honor your father. Be careful how you speak. Be careful how you speak to your parents. Whether physical parents or spiritual parents. Your pastor. Because if you don't honor authority, Satan will use that as a means to block you from receiving what is rightfully yours. Yeah. Yeah. It is said that those who don't submit under authority, when they cast out devils, demons don't even obey them. Come out. Come out. The demons will shake their head. You don't know what you're talking about. Come out. I know who I am. I'm full of power. Come out. You, you are full of power. Yeah. If you don't submit under authority, you can't execute authority. But it's very important. Miriam spoke against Moses and spoke against, yeah. Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses. It didn't go well with them, actually. Because Miriam was Moses' elder sister. When Moses was born, he was the one who took Moses in that ark and put it on the river for him. So if there is someone to correct Moses, who do you think qualifies the most? They said, Moses, God has not spoken to you only. Yeah. God also speaks to us in Numbers 12. But they think Moses has married the wrong woman so they wanted to correct Moses. The result was that Miriam became leprous. Lepros. And because of her, Israel's movement was delayed for one week. Normally people who rebel against authority, they delay in life. Like Miriam delayed. And caused others also to delay in life. So it's not good. Praise God. So, under authority. Look at, we know about Ham, Shem, and Japheth. Is that not so? How that Noah was naked. In fact, what Mr. Father Noah did wasn't right. I'm telling you. Noah, when the world was corrupt, you were alright. But when corruption had ended, now you drank out and you were naked. There are some people, eh? When there's corruption, you are very holy. But when the environment is fine, that's when. So, Noah drank, drank, and became naked. Okay. Father Noah is now naked. What do we do? You know what Ham did? He went forward to see his nakedness and came to tell his brothers. So Ham exposed his father. But Shem and Japheth went backward and they covered their father. There are two categories of sons. Exposing sons and covering sons. Yeah. But a leader's downfall will be your test. Because a leader's downfall is your test. It promotes some sons and demotes some sons. Depending on how they handle him. There are some things you have to keep quiet. You may think you are addressing human failure. But you are touching God's government. You may think Moses has married the wrong person. Keep quiet. It's not your business. Don't exercise yourself in higher matters. You understand? Pray for leadership. Don't criticize leadership. Yeah. We want you to prosper. This is scripture. It says, Noah woke up and I thought that he wouldn't apologize to Ham. He woke up from his drunkenness and began to prophesy. He prophesied their lives. Hey! And it came to pass. You think you are touching human failure? You are touching God's government. Some people are deputizing God's government. Alright. Korah. I like his name. His name means bowed. You have the revelation. Sakura. Sakura. Sakura. Sakura. Because yeah, that's his name. Maybe he had no hair. But do you know that in the Bible to serve God or to work for God as a priest if you have no hair, if your hair is low, you are disqualified? Yeah. If your hair is low, you are disqualified. The implication is that when your hair is low, you are not submitted under authority. Because the hair speaks of covering and authority. And in the Bible, if you have long hair, if you have long hair, you can't do the ministry in the Old Testament. You are disqualified. Because long hair speaks of self-glory. You come to ministry for your own, for sure. For self-glory. So yeah, in the Bible, the priesthood, there's a qualification. The kind of haircut you have to use to serve, it should be in the middle. You have to pull your hair. It's not too short. It's not too long. Just in the middle. Then you are a proper priest. Where do you think my hair is?
Speaker 2So, praise God.
Speaker 1So go and honor authority. Honor your father, honor your mother, your parents, as well as your pastors, spiritual parents. Honor them. Yeah, because we see that the principles are in the Bible. That was what they said. He didn't join them. So those who joined in a rebellion were disinherited. Never be disinherited. Hallelujah. So they pled their case. And look at the next verse. To give unto us, therefore, a possession among the brethren of our father. That's five. And Moses brought their cause before the Lord. Moses is wise. And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying, The daughters of Zelophehad speak right. Can you imagine? They speak right. That shall surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brethren. And that shall cause the inheritance of their father to pass on to them. So God now had to amend the law, amend the constitution, so that now, from that time, daughters could now inherit from their fathers. Yes. , from that time, it is said that wives now could inherit from their husbands. And daughters had a right to inherit from their fathers. Yeah. It became a law forever in Israel. And that also affected the church, when the church actually began. So, historically speaking, the Judeo-Christian influence affected the world. Because the rest of the nations, women didn't inherit, like the Jews. And because of the fate of the daughters of Zelophehad, it was amended, and the church practiced the same. And the Judeo-Christian influence affected the world. Actually, history is traced to this place. The reason why today, daughters can inherit from their fathers, and they think wives can inherit, is because of what the daughters of Zelophehad actually did. Yes. Hallelujah. So, they were bold to say, no, this is mine. Are you bold to claim what is yours in Christ? There is a verse I like in the Bible, in the book of John 15, verse 7. John 15, verse 7 says, If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. It's powerful. He says, if you abide in him, because we are in him. But if, his words abide in you, through meditation, there are some things when you are praying for, there are the scriptures addressing your need. Ponder over them before you pray. And his words abide in you. Ye shall ask what ye will. Whatever you want to ask, you can ask. And it shall be done unto you. This is Jesus speaking. He's not lying. He said, it shall be done. But the Greek is amazing. You want to know the Greek. The Greek actually says, whatever you want, even if it doesn't exist, I will create it for you. Like it was done for the daughters of Zilophia. Even if it doesn't exist, I will create it for you. That's the Greek. But God knows that you're not going to ask foolish things. Because he says, if ye abide in me and my words, once his words abide in you, you wouldn't ask for foolish things. Like a certain woman gathered prayer warriors to pray for the death of Gloria Copeland, Kenneth Copeland's wife, so that he, she, will marry Kenneth Copeland. Aha. Aha. Because Copeland is a wealthy man. He says that she's convinced that she's a real bona fide wife of the man of God. So they were praying this kind of prayer. This kind of prayer. But if his words abide in you, you'll ask in line whatever you want. Praise God. So, be bold. Healing is yours. Be bold to claim it. How do you talk to God? God is your father. Don't carry everything and swallow all the pain and the difficulties of life. Be bold. Give an expression. Talk to him. Talk to him. Ask him questions. You know, Africa, we grow to be timid and not to be timid. to be proactive. I don't have the boldness to, you know, to demand certain things. So, even when we are demanding from God, we think that we are not reverencing God. No. God wants you. When you make a demand, He's happy. Yeah. That's what it's in John 14 verse 30. Whatsoever you shall ask. Whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that's what I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. The word ask, ito in Greek is whatsoever you shall demand, according to your rights and privileges, shall be done. So, all you need to know is your rights and privileges in Christ, and it shall be done. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. May you be bold to claim your inheritance in Christ. Hallelujah. Claim your inheritance in Christ. Everything is yours. Forgiveness is yours. There are some things, for instance, the Bible says that, in Ephesians 1, 7, in Him we have redemption through His blood. The forgiveness of sins. Wow. In whom we have, the word have is the present active participle. It means, it means possess it. For instance, if we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. So, it says, even when you have sinned, possess your forgiveness. He said, that's what is an active thing. That means you lay hold on it and possess it, because it is already yours. Hallelujah. So, you may be wondering, am I forgiven? He said, no, you are already forgiven, but possess it. And he said, in Him we have redemption. The word redemption is like deliverance, automatic radiance. We are being delivered from harm and danger. So, maybe you are afraid that, hey, I'm going to have an accident. He said, no, the blood already purchased your deliverance from the accident. So, just possess it. Say, I am free. I am redeemed from accidents. It cannot happen to me. So, you, it's yours, but He wants you to possess it. Hallelujah. Let me end with what, something that, Matthew chapter 1. Matthew chapter 1. I will not use the word end, but I will still end. You know, in Matthew chapter 1, the Bible says that, the book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ. Matthew chapter 1 is a very wonderful book. And, wonderful chapter. It says, the book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. Now, in talking about Jesus' lineage, it speaks of, he mentions David before Abraham, but Abraham came before David. It's amazing. You know, the reason is because, David, kings actually came from David. And, David is the standard of kings in the Bible. 14 kings are mentioned, but only David is called the king. Two times. All the kings were not given the title of king. So, in this genealogy, the Bible says, this king begot this king. And, and this one begot, only David is called the king here, because he's the standard of kingship. So, we are seeing Jesus' lineage of kings. Jesus is a king. He came from David. Praise God. So, we have 14 kings that are mentioned. And, we have, so, we have 14 fathers. We have 14 kings. 14 civilians. So, all of these people brought forth Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. Okay, but the concentration of this chapter is proving that Jesus is king. Alright. So, something happened. Now, look at verse 11. And, Josiah, King Josiah, gave bread to Jeconias and his brethren. About a time, they were carried away to Babylon. Praise God. Are you following? The last king before Israel went to Babylon was called Jeconias. But, he did something very bad. But, he was cursed. It's one of the biggest, biggest curses in the whole Bible. The Bible doesn't tell us what he did, but his curse was big. Now, his name is Jeconias. His name is called Conia or Jeconia. Let's see what he did. Let's see the curse. In Jeremiah 22, verse 28. Quickly. Jeremiah 22, verse 28. It says, So, he's talking about Jeconias. Jeremiah is professing about him. Is this Conia a despised, broken idol? Is he a vessel wherein is no pleasure? Wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed? They are cast out into a land which they know not. O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the Lord. So, Jeremiah is calling the earth to hear God's word. Thus saith the Lord, write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days. For no man of his seed shall prosper sitting upon the throne of David and ruling any more in Judah. That means that from Jeconias, all the rest of his seed were cursed. Nobody could be king. You understand? And this man was only 80 years. And he ruled for about 100 days. The Bible says he ruled for 3 months, 10 days. But I don't know. And he was so cursed like that. So, just go back. He's a vessel wherein is no pleasure. Look at how. Go back. Oh, not Matthew. The same. Verse 28. Yes. The Bible calls him a vessel wherein is no pleasure. You know, it's a nice way of, it's a paraphrasis for, let's say, toilet bowl. You know, you can't find any pleasure therein. It's a vessel. That means that the guy, there was no, I don't know what he did. There was no pleasure in him. He was really cursed. Praise God. Okay. Then, his lineage, from him came Joseph, the husband of Mary. In verse 16 of Matthew chapter 1. Hmm. So, that lineage. That means that from, hmm, the time they went into captivity, Jeconias, everybody from that lineage, nobody qualifies to be king. Because the curse is in their bloodline. And, Jesus has to be king. So, that means that if Jesus is from this lineage, he is disqualified. He can't be king. What do we do? Praise God. Glory to God. Can I get some people here for illustration? Glory to God. Okay. Okay. So, you stand here. You are David. Okay, you, you are Solomon. Stand here. Okay. So, listen. David gave birth to Solomon. And, Solomon's lineage, is what is, is what is in Matthew, Matthew chapter 1. Out of that came, Conea. Out of that came, Joseph. And, there's Jesus. So, Solomon was a king. So, this is the lineage. And, this lineage was cursed. So, you cannot be king. Beginning from Jeconias. It means Jesus can't be king. And, even reign as king. Reign as king. But, there was another provision. Luke chapter 3. Verse 23. And Jesus himself began to be about 30 years of age. Being as was supposed, the son of Joseph, which was a son of Heli. Now, there is something here, that's a contradiction. He says that, Joseph's father was called what? Heli. Let's look at Matthew 1 verse 16. Well, Joseph's father was not Heli. And Jacob, not the patriarch Jacob. And Jacob begat Joseph, the husband of Mary. So, Joseph's father was called Jacob. Now, let's go to Luke. But how come, how come here, he says that his father was Heli? His father was not Haley. Look at, we have the word as was supposed. Literally in Greek, according to a custom. According to the law. Haley was his father-in-law. But because women were not reckoned in genealogy, normally you reckon them after the man. So Haley is Mary's father. You understand? Okay. Now, the book of Luke has a different genealogy. David had another son called Nathan. Matthew is Jesus' lineage through Solomon. But blessed be God, Luke is Jesus' lineage from David. David is mentioned, but it is through his son Nathan. Stand here. You like? Okay, okay. Okay. All right. So, this is Joseph. I need a woman. So, look at something. Look at something. Okay, come. Come and be Jeconias. So, you stand here. So, you realize that. Oh, no. Come here. Okay, so, David's lineage. David, his son Solomon. This is Matthew. So, in the lineage, you find Jeconias, who was cursed. But out of him came Jacob. Out of him came Joseph, the father of Jesus. That means from this man, nobody can be king. But blessed be God, David had another lineage, Nathan, in Luke chapter 3. His descendants, his lineage is mentioned through Nathan. But through Nathan, his line is Mary. Now, Mary is from David's lineage through Nathan. Mary's father is called Heli. So, Joseph's father-in-law is Heli. Praise God. So, now, the kingship is from David. It came, ah, this line is disqualified. So, the only hope is this line. So, the kingship. So, from Nathan, came Mary. But previously, women were not allowed to inherit. But because of the daughters of Zelophehad. Because of the inheritance of the daughters, they are both faith. Zelophehad, daughters of Zelophehad. Zelophehad. From their days. From their days, women could inherit. I need someone to be Jesus. So, now, without the daughters of Zelophehad, the kingship couldn't have come upon Mary. Because she's a woman. But because of their both faith, women were not allowed to inherit. You understand? So, because of that, it came upon Mary. And now, it came upon Jesus.
Speaker 2Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker 1So, it amazes me that you can have faith today. And your faith will affect your great-grandchildren to come. Yeah. Faith has wonderful consequences. Positive consequences. So, we have to believe God. Just believe God. And it will give you eternal impact. It will affect many generations. And that's what the ladies did. It affected Jesus' line. Mary. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And now, something happens. This is Joseph. This is Mary. So, what happened was that Joseph and Mary are married, right? Alright. The Bible says that the Lord that was given to the daughters of Zelophehad, they shouldn't marry from tribe to tribe. If the daughters are from the tribe of Judah, they must marry from the tribe of Judah. So that when they marry, the two of them share the inheritance. Because when you are married, you become heirs of the grace of life by covenant. What is his is yours. What is yours is his by marriage. So, because of that union, the inheritance is not for both of them. Praise God. And now, Jesus is for Mary. Because of that, Jesus is God. You know, when a baby is born, you know where the baby's blood comes from? From the sperm, from the seed. The mother doesn't contribute any blood to the baby. The placenta, no, there's no blood. Nourishment comes from the mother to the baby. But no, not one iota of blood is contributed from the mother to the baby. The blood of the baby is from the mother to the baby. Joseph and Mary never met until Jesus came. Jesus was born of the divine sperm, the divine seed. The divine seed came upon Mary. That means Jesus' blood is purely the blood of God. That is why that blood can cleanse our sins 2,000 years ago and cleanse our sins today. Because it is the blood of God. Your healing is today. Today.
