I was getting the carpal tunnel. So then they released for real. Yes, I had to have a gabapentin on deck for whenever the arthritis and carpal tunnel was acting up. - Well, you need to wrist. I do wrist exercise in Pilates. You got to do your wrist. - Okay, where? I was like, do I do what I zoom in? And I was like, the wrist that rests out. Okay, so again, do more wrist exercises. - Yeah, well, it's also like my finger. It's a whole thing. It's a whole thing. And I almost was going to need surgery at one point. Yeah, yeah, I know. Because it's also from editing. I was doing my editing. And just everything I do is, you know, wrist-related. - Oh my God. You really do need to do wrist exercises. But my help, I don't know. - Back in the day, I was doing wrist exercises. - What do you say? - Maybe it needs to rest. It's wrist, not more exercise. - He's good work. That is crazy, actually that's your job, yeah. - So then I got the iPhone Air last year or two years ago, remember that came out. hated it kind of the worst phone ever, to be honest. It's statistically the most returned iPhone to ever exist, 'cause it's that bad, but it is skinny as a needle and light as a feather. So my wrist did think me for that. And then I ordered your size phone. And I was like, oh, heavy, heavy on it. So then I went and returned to and got this one instead. And Darian had regrets over not getting the silver. So I was like, ooh, I guess the silver's good. So I got silver. - That's crazy, I just had the silver. And I was like, I'm over the silver. 'Cause to me it looked like every other iPhone. The black was, Ari had the black and she had the black on black case and it just looked so sleek. And I don't even like, I don't like the color black that much, but it's like, it looked cool. - Okay, well, I also have the black on black for like two years. And I'm like, let me mix up and do something a little different. I have the-- - They have black phone? - The black iPhone Air, yeah. I had that with the black case. - Well, the Air had all the cool colors, but it was the crappy phone, they're like here. It's giving, okay, this is like niche. Okay, I don't know, okay, it's not that niche. It's giving my back, my back. Do you know my back, Mercedes, my back? - No. - Well, it's basically like a car that was like bougie. It's car, I have, by the way. And it was like this car that was like everyone considered bougie for like the longest time. It bumps, right? Is that what it is? It's like the my back bumps. I think rappers drive it. I don't know, whatever. My back was supposed to be like this bougie Mercedes. And my lease is up because we lease our cars. And I just whatever. And my lease is up. I'm gonna go, you know, get another car. And like I was thinking like a lesser car 'cause my back is like expensive. You know, I have kids now. I'm trying to like save money for vacations when they get older and stuff. So I was like, let me get like a lesser. So I thought, oh, I could do like a D-way or something, but they're like trying to give away. My point is, my back is always like the iPhone Air. It's where it's just like, yeah, they look pretty and they sound bougie, but they were trying to give it away to us free, like they were literally pushing. I went into the same Mercedes for like 15 years 'cause I do love our Mercedes. And it's the same sales guy and everything like that. But, so you have to try to push another May back on us. And I was like, no, the kind of too expensive. And not for nothing, it is always in the shop. Like we are always putting that May back in the shop. Like there's always a single going on and stuff like that. Kind of expensive, the car, paint, whatever. So he's trying to push the May back. I'll just give you just a clean trade. Just give us this. I was like, wow, that's kind of good to you. Like no, but I was like, I don't really want a May back. So I was like, oh, we're trying to find like a used G-Wagon or something that was like a little less. And he's just like, no, no, you don't want that. He's trying to like talk us out of the G-Wagons or something like that, the used G-Wagons, he's trying to get us a new G-Wagon, which he's like, oh, they're 30 K over asking, probably I was like, oh my God. So anyways, we ended up just not getting a car because now I don't know what to get. But like, let me know maybe I get a Mercedes because basically my friend, Ari, she has like the Mercedes, but not the May back. But it's exactly like mine. Like it's exactly the same. Like the inside has the LED lights, like everything is the exact same. And I'm trying to find something like that. But anyways, I'll have to say don't get an iPhone Air or a May back. They look pretty, but guess what? Nobody wants them. And they're really just trying to give them to you. And it's wild. At the end of the day, maybe just get a Samsung. Got it because everyone is saying the Samsung Galaxy or whatever has already done with the iPhone duo is doing a little bit better. And those iPhone duo's, they do look fun. I'm not going to lie. They look fun as well. But I don't know if they fit in your pocket. Can you go to the right and see if they fit or whatever story go to and fit, see if it fits in your pocket? They're not even out yet. They should even have them on display. Just like two phones. Take your phone and the other phone, put them together and try to fit in your pocket. No, but I think they're wider, right? They're like, they look like my pet many. They're like the size of, I pet many folded. It's the most odd size there is. I love them. They are amazing. Like, not Verizon, it's not actually like Verizon, no shade to Verizon. I have an issue whenever I try to get a new phone. My phone number is always, I don't know, what was it? My phone number was restricted yesterday and I was like, what the hell? Even when I went into Verizon, they're like, oh, your account's restricted. I was like, what the hell do I call? Anyways, do you love Verizon? I've been a Verizon member for 40 years, I think, longer than I've been alive, 42 years, I think I've been a member, so I just love Verizon. But it's always an issue, but then when I went in there yesterday, there was no phones on display. You're right. There was not one phone. And people were trying to come in to get a new phone. It's like, we have none. There was not one phone on display. You know how you usually go in and you can play. You know how I just see not one phone. You know how I just see. Yeah, I just see what go play with all the phones. There wasn't one. They were over it. Don't put a Verizon on a Sunday. They definitely were just over it. I was like, call 6-1-1, and I was like, but I'm here, they literally had me go call. Anyways, I ended up fine. It was good to get call 6-1-1 because yeah, your things were strict and I was like, how? But then it took seven hours, but then again, I have way too much data. Anyways, that was that weekend. How about yours? How was yours? It was pretty good. I did work the VMAs last night. I know. I know. I know. The VMAs? MTV video, music awards, baby happened Sunday night last night and I fear a lot of people didn't know what was happening. I haven't seen one thing, and I was actually fun fact, okay, no one cares, but I was so stressed because seven hours got my phone and I was like, oh my god, what am I going to do for seven hours? Moses still had. What was that? I had an awful phone. It was pink though. Remember the pink iPhone? It was like, it was pretty pink. It would only have two cameras. Yes. It was like the regular phone. It was like regular and I got it and whatever. Moses still uses it for his cooking so he's like, you know what, your TikTok is still on there. So I was able to like, still want my TikTok. It was great. I didn't even care about messages. I was like, who cares? I had my TikTok on there. That was a great hack. I never knew. I was like, because we keep all the phones. I'm always scared people are going to get my information, but I was on TikTok for a very long time because yeah, it was like a lazy day yesterday, kids were really sleeping. You were cooking. My dad was here. That was what it was. And so I still go able to go on TikTok and I didn't see one thing with the VMAs, not one thing. Yeah. Yeah. I saw a bunch. You didn't. I saw Madonna argue with Sabrina Carpita on stage, who's calling who I saw Madonna and Charlie X, the X party in a hotel room. I saw Madonna perform, I don't know, for some reason Madonna was the main event. Well, she wasn't mean about that. She was. I think so. She opened the VMAs with the performance. Sabrina Carpita made a surprise appearance with Madonna and opened the show with her. That was fun. I guess. And then Charlie X, the X also came out and performed with Madonna as well. Why Madonna so much? All of a sudden. They have a collab on her new album. They have features on her new album and they went really big on having Madonna perform. I guess it was the first time she performed at the VMAs since the Brittany Kristina infamous kiss, which is a long time ago. 2003. A little bit of a hot take. I might get canceled, but I don't know. But like, I didn't even get Madonna back then with Brittany Kristina. You know what I mean? Like, I was like, I don't really get it. I didn't see anything. I didn't even know she did new music. Oh my god. Yes, she released new music a couple months ago. I think it was received.
Well, I'm not like you use Madonna's stand but like respect because we would not have any of our pop girls if I'm wearing for Madonna Being boots on the ground. Okay. So I respect it. I don't think so Yeah, like the track like the mic would be like over here the track's playing, but I don't even give up because it's Like literally walk I see I think it might be her last like VMAs performance because like it obviously if it's 23 years since her last one I feel like this is her last hurrah the VMAs that's crazy. Yeah, she's like and even like I don't know you could like they were really having to carry her around Yeah, you can see that she never buy her. There's always somebody holding her. She's pretty young She was always pretty fit, right? We never know we never know what people Like my mom's age at least for a big like spectacle performance Like I think she could still like perform but like this big level of spectacle and production Like I feel like we're getting towards the end of that level or this time. It's actually like it's actually romantic that you talk about me so much and you hate on me so much Yeah, I was gonna say I thought maybe Taylor was winning. We love a get-a-image for sure. - I guess also just a reason to get dressed up, I suppose. - Yeah, and the relationships important between studios and stuff, so I totally get it. And it also was just like, the integration was so funny to me because they basically, they had them walk the carpet, walk the carpet first, obviously. - Yeah. - And then they had, like, it was kind of like a corral, like kind of at the beginning of the carpet, where there was like a lounge kind of area where there was a bar and stuff, but then there was a space at the beginning of the carpet where all the celebrities walk, where they basically are like behind the rope, and then they just like make content with celebrities as they're walking. So it's like if Tyla or Lisa or Taylor Swift walk by, it's like a lot of people filming their face and then filming Taylor walking by. So it's a lot of that like reactionary content as like people are walking back and forth. - Okay. - But it's just like, everyone has the same angle. And then you see like, someone filming from the back and you just see like the corral. And I'm like, this is so interesting. - Oh, so okay, so if I would've gone, it's like, you go, you take your picture and then they make you go behind the barricade. It's like, on the carpet, yeah, there's like the influencer lounge or whatever the market is as, and then like it's, they know their seats. It looks nice. Like there's a bar and everything. There's, you know, it's pretty big. And then by the carpet, there's like, you know, the rope or whatever, almost like you, like when you do a press line or something, you know, you're like behind the rope and celebrities are walking by. It's kind of like that where you're just like shouting as like Taylor, Taylor, you know. - Oh, interesting, okay. Do you think they were paid to be there? Maybe it wasn't like that. - I feel like some probably. - Yeah, 'cause why the hell would they want to do that? You know, I don't know. - But they must, I feel like, I feel like they must get paid, 'cause I don't think they'd be like, back-sided, right? 'Cause they got events, like all these people go to events and so like, and they're worth some, you know, they're worth, obviously, their reach is worth something, right? Money, monetarily. So I wouldn't think. - But it is prestige to be there and to be invited and to rob shoulders with, celebrities and hopefully collaborate with them, whether it's a TikTok or a podcast or whatever it is. I mean, if you take the anxiety out of it, it's a fun event to go to. Like, it's fun to go to those events. - Most of it says love and event. When he's in fun, we had tickets to, I'm using that phrase. Oh, we could've gone, I was like, but that seemed like a lot 'cause I get dressed. I guess you do love and event. I don't, I mean. - Let's just say, think about people that are not anxious, that don't get in those environments of surrounding, but like, they thrive on being around people. 'Cause I know the opposite. People that when they're alone, I mean, they're not introverts, right? Like, when they're alone in home, they get so bored they want to climb off the walls. - I have been feeling a lot of anxiety lately, which I feel like hasn't been me. And it's like, I think with everything, right? Being a mom, you get anxious. 'Cause I'm like, okay, are my kids okay? Like, I'm constantly like worried if I'm giving them enough attention. But then it's like also this online that we do the podcast, right? And so I see clips of us on the podcast or other people talking about us. And then I almost get like, I guess it's anxiety. I don't know, I feel like you talk about this a lot so maybe you could help me where I feel a little like, overwhelming sense of like, oh, we're getting canceled. Is everything gonna go away? - Yeah, I think sometimes my brain fires on all cylinders with overwhelming dread. - How do I manage this? How do I get under control? - It honestly is really tough, especially when you kind of know it's irrational, but you feel like, unless I do something about it, unless I act on these thoughts, I will not be able to move along with my day. And that happens with me for like serious stuff for like my pets or even like really trivial stuff. Like, did I lock the door or did I leave the stove on? Like if it's stuff for like realistically, I know I probably did turn everything off and doors are locked, but like a little yesterday, I was driving into work and I was like 10 minutes down the road and I was like, wait, did I lock that door and my positive? And I was like, let me just be safe and turn around, go out of my way and I was so annoyed doing it, but like my mind would not let me rest until I checked on that urge to make sure. And of course it was locked. Of course the door was closed. I was so mad at myself. - That's how I feel too. I know I feel like with everything going around with like kids, you know, there's always like hand-footed mouth, there's like like, so all this stuff like that. So I'm constantly just like in paranoid way. I'm like, they're scratching when it's in something like, like can latch on to other people, right? Like my kids and stuff like, oh my God, is there something wrong with me? And then there's nothing or if I'm asking people for like reassurance all the time, like I'm constantly asking Moses, like are we good? Are we okay am I doing enough in our relationship? Like the internet's telling me like you do everything and I do nothing or us too. I feel like there's sometimes where I'm just like, are you good? I'm like, you know, 'cause we get busier and then I feel like I'm burdening everybody and I'm just like, okay, this is okay, if not, it's fine. I'm so sorry, like it's constantly apologizing and it's just, it's hard. And it's just like, is it just anxiety? I know you talk a lot about having OCD, you've been diagnosed OCD. - Yeah, it's so interesting too, 'cause my mom kind of knew when I was really young 'cause I was very particular about things and that's a bit misconception is that like OCD is just to be like everything in tidy, which that is part of it. And then getting older I realized that things I was like anxious about, again, like my mind constantly going to like the worst case scenario or always jumping to the worst conclusions. I started learning like that is also in relation to OCD. And actually another thing I learned that I did literally my whole entire life that I had no idea was also part of being OCD is like little things like skin picking. I feel like that is such a good perspective because same, same. When we started doing the OCD at reads, I was kind of like, well, I don't actually would be like, "Tricia, my ass is." And same. And you kind of don't know. And then you hear stories 'cause everybody's looks different. - Yes. - If I'm not like, maybe I'm not like picking my skin, but my intrusive thoughts, I'm like, are these voices coming back into my head or are they just intrusive thoughts? So I feel like OCD is where it's really good for that. So instead of just traditional talk therapy, I like that OCD also offers exposure therapy for people to actually like do the things. Like when you said you were like, is it Gwarfobic? Was that what it was? And you just have like leave the house. And sometimes it really is that. Sometimes it really is just being exposed, just being putting yourself out there. Like if I'm so worried about being canceled, it's like, I need to stop looking at comments. No CD is wonderful.
