I think we're going to read the correspondent part of amazing things. >> I've heard nothing, but I'm so out of the book. >> I know. >> But, like, these are the books. >> I trust you implicitly. >> It's just like, because it'd be like, if you picked up a book in 2020, and all you read was Crawdads, Seven Husbands, and Daisy Jones, and you're like, wow, books are amazing. >> Yeah, there's no point in reading a book, if you don't read a lot, there's no point in picking up a book that's not, like, of the moment, because the whole point of reading books is like being able to tell people, it's like, oh, did you read that? Yeah, I did. >> Yeah. >> But it's like, when you read a lot of contemporary books in one year, and you've read all the hits, you start to read the shits. >> Well, I actually think sometimes the hits are, like, good reads plans, and a lot of the hits are not that good. >> No, no, but the Crawdads, that was on another level, but like, no, you could feel when something has the cover and the look, and then it's actually not that great. That's different. But every year, there's like two or three bigger books, I would say Strangers was one of them. >> Strangers? >> Jordan. >> Copper is well-burdened, of course, I read it. >> And it's like, maybe you didn't even love it, but it was a talking voice. >> Oh my gosh, it's the last book I read. >> Yeah. >> It wasn't even that good. >> But when we were reading, like, 60 books a year, like, we were actually reading just garbage at a certain point, because there was nothing good else to read in God forbid we read something like a classic. >> Jackie, when I was reading 60 books a year, some of the shits, especially in, like, November, December, to hit my reading goal, was like actual pamphlets, and, like, short stories written by, like, non-authors, like, I don't even want to talk about what I was reading, like, it was dark. >> So it's like, if you read a book today, just like how you read Copper's well, but it burdened, it would be great, because it's like the book that everyone loved that they say you should. >> I'm much more selective now. >> Much more. >> Much more selective. >> Much more. >> Much suited for children. >> Well, do you want to get into the stories? >> I guess what is the vibe of them today, I know. >> It's really, like, random celebrity news. That's unfortunate. >> No. So they really weren't acting out. And anyone who makes election day about them is actually not strategic, because you're never going to outshine election day, unless you're Tom, Jordi, and you're saying, getting divorced on election day. >> Some people try to use election day as a divergence from what's actually going on. >> Which is also just, like, a life raft for us. They've got like a really good cushioning and arching to help support your feet throughout the day. And I'm walking a lot. I walk a lot in my Rothys and they're so really cute kids shoes. [email protected], you will literally never take them off. r-o-t-h-y-s.com. Snagapare today. I'll snag them. You better pay for them. But you tell me a snagapare. Snag them. Our first story. Some dancing with the stars follow up. So Tatiana Ali is hinting at how she chose her dancing with the stars group. She's a dance team with quote intentional strategy. So Tatiana Ali responded to a user on threads. Someone threaded, what's the word for, the verb for threading, they throed. Tatiana, it sounded like they threw a ball, but this person's tweet was like funny into the point and actually really like, I'm glad that she responded to it because they're so right. So this person said Tatiana as the lowest scored person, why wouldn't you choose at least one of the stars with the dance background for your team crying emoji. So that would be Jenna or Harry. Yeah. Someone responded to that threader saying, maybe I'm reading too much into it, but she strikes me as someone who is very intentional about who she shares spaces with. And I think who she picked was a reflection of that emoji, dragging emoji Tatiana responded to that very much so. Yeah. I mean, I'm glad that there was a reason other than the fact that she just like makes bad choices because it was such a bad choice. It did cause her to the team competition, like it was so unbalanced. And so this could either be about Jenna Dewan, Val or Harry or Jenna Johnson, because those are the people that have professional dance backgrounds plus their partners. People are, it's not about Jenna Dewan and it's not about Harry Shum. It's obviously about Jalen, but Jalen Venna. Yeah. People are assuming it's about Val and the Fresh Prince comment. Of course. And we forget. She does. Tatiana was on the Fresh Prince. Like, she's personally investing. She's not. She's not. No, like Alfonso too, you know, like the definitely she has beef with them, like you think so. I want they'll love each other and I was shocked to actually hear that there would be like beef behind the scenes because I feel like what they're going through is so singular and they're just like this. And yeah, when something happens, someone's getting called out, like I don't know, I just feel like they've all sort of rallied behind each other and that there's actually even that she doesn't like Val for that comment is surprising. Yes, I agree. You usually present a united front because it's like, well, maybe there's, you know, interpersonal communication issues. Nobody knows what it's like to be going through what they're going through and it's very much like a team mentality, even though they're all in competition with one another. So yes, I am actually surprised to hear that. And then more than that that she would say something publicly that like publicly puts her opposed to whichever has not awkward talking about this should be awkward. Right. I don't know how much interact or they like are how often is she seeing Val and Jenna? Aside from the actual night of the show, which like you're worried about your own dad, but like still there's rehearsals, there's blocking, there's, you know, but not with each other. Is there like what my people want to see Val. I imagine the day before the show when they do rehearsals, like they all have to like block the show and like line up. No, I feel like they go by each person's performance, like, and like the people that all rehearse like the same center, do they have lunch together there? So studios look the same. So let me say something actually, I feel that my time on Massager actually can help here. Now we were kept more separate because of the anonymity of it all, but like when we were talking about like song selections, I realize I probably, I think it's probably the same as the mass singer before the mass singer. They give you this huge questionnaire about like who your favorite singers are, genres you like, things like that people associate with you, stories, you have like actually like a call with like a therapist, not a therapist, but it turns into like therapy. Like tell me about your childhood. And they try to incorporate everything you've asked them to within the limits of like what songs can be clear. Legally what songs have recently been danced or sung to. But at the end of the day, like it's their call, like I did not want to sing C is unstoppable. That song meant nothing to me. I honestly didn't even know the words. So right. They were so right. Of course. Now, of course they gave me Barbara Streisand as well because they wanted it to be a clue. And the next week that you had picked your song for, you had picked because it was a themed week. I hadn't picked it yet and they gave it to me and I didn't like it. Oh. But it was based on you. Yeah. Can we say what it was? Yeah. It was Spice Girls night. And I really wanted me to say mama. I love you. And they're so right for that because not only did that song raise us and we have so many videos of us singing that song to our parents. I had just our parents. Your whole thing was that you had a baby and that's literally why you had to leave because you're such a mama. Yeah. No, no. They were so Asian-wise. But that was not my choice. Like, I don't even know the words to that song outside of mama. I love you, mama. I care. They're going off of things about you. And also, yeah, we start. Sometimes they do know better. Absolutely. And then they start. They fill out this huge questionnaire beforehand. Like favorite movies, favorite songs, like Dream Things to Dance to We Know Jackson also was going to be great as showmen the following week. And it's like the greatest showmen. And that was so inspiring to him. So I do think Tatiana has a. I say is responsible for a lot of the choices made. But it's entirely possible that she's not. It's true. But I had no part in Sia. I really did. I had no part. Yeah. Now I was wrong for that. But it's still had no part. But it's still had everything you told them. No. They changed it the last minute. I was supposed to be singing, what's my second song supposed to be? A Celine Dion song. But like, there were so many people who had recently sung Celine Dion. They gave me a song that actually I didn't love. And then I practiced it. And I was like obsessed with it. And then they changed. What? Shit. I can find like this. She music. It was. It was amazing. It was like. Now that it takes two. It takes two to make a thing go right? No. No. No. No. It was like. It's one. It's one everyone knows. But like, not one ever. I'm saying. Dion. Oh. Okay. I decided I guess what people really want behind the scenes. To love you more, was that? Yeah. That song. Yeah. That's a good song. It is. It's not one of her biggest hits. But I was so excited. And then it just like didn't work out. I actually forgot the exact reasoning. But unstoppable was so iconic. This thing that ever happened to me. Yeah. Yeah. Oh. So the beef. Yeah. It is. It is a brave thing to like start beef now, like, especially there's fewer and fewer contestants. So it's like just getting like a smaller pool of people. You do definitely see while you're there. So I would love to know like you're going to have to get a little bit more. Like we're just assuming it's about fresh prints. Maybe it's something else. Maybe Harry. Completely something. Maybe Harry. Maybe Harry. I could see her being tough to get along with.
it could be Jenna Dewan. Also a little more dancing with the stars news is that Mora posted like a long Instagram carousel about this week on dwittish she said this week was definitely one of the toughest I've had so far. I was really unwell running on very little energy and trying to learn tune dances but I gave it absolutely everything I had. I very long just saying you know I'm doing my best. I'm sure we're getting like an IV. Yeah and just working hard and laying down and being tired all the highs and lows really because there was also stuff from the show tinkerbell etc. Molly Mae commented some support but just letting everyone know like she is struggling but she's okay. We're sort of like confirming that it's been hard for her. Yeah but that also that she wants to be there that this is the best thing ever and she wants to keep going and like please you know vote support her. Yes I saw Jan Robnik sharing that actually today's the first day that the celebrity stars have off since the show started. Wow. So hopefully everyone like comes back this week with a rejuvenated energy because it got a day off. Yeah hopefully so that's like sad for her. I hope it is. It is. It's what she needs but even if she does get voted off like sometimes it's just a blessing. Yeah like Jen Affleck even doesn't see it that way. No no and like now knowing what we know like I wish we didn't advocate for her so hard because she like was being mean to everyone. She's crazy. Are you ready for our next story? I am. Kim Kardashian is getting candid about the future of her legal career after failing the bar. And you know what? I've been waiting to hear from her on this. So at the New York season two premiere of All Spheres she talked about. Which was like an influencer affair. Did you see everyone was there? Yes she talked about failing the bar. She said I never really get embarrassed. I think it's embarrassing for people that don't try to study for the bar that would ever put me in an embarrassing situation. She added that she's trying her hardest and learning so much but despite trying her hardest she's taking a break after last year's attempt. Oh yeah. So this is either like the last we'll ever hear about it or it's a true break. Uh oh. I mean it could be a break but a break could wind up just being like setting you back even further. A break where I'm taking time to think about if I'm coming back to it doesn't mean that necessarily coming back. Remember when one direction went on a break? Like please, some of us are still waiting. A break is oftentimes the end like a breakup? Yeah or the beginning of the end. I don't know what to advise Kim here because I do think like this pursuit is noble but so unnecessary like she can and does make a lot of change without being a lawyer. Like she has all these people around her and she's down on this and it was a really um noble effort but in addition to all the other things she's doing I feel like for a while it was kind of her only thing. I was like okay that in chair if you want to commit your life. Yeah. Put like with the obsession with acting now and all the movies and the TV shows and then the businesses and Skakai like it doesn't no longer fits. Yeah I think she'll take a very long break but I think ultimately she will want to climb this mountain and reach the top because her biggest thing is people saying she can't do something and having to prove people wrong and I don't think she can live with the niggling thing of I couldn't do that. Yeah especially like I think she wants to prove to Courtney like she can like I think Courtney is one of her biggest ops. Yeah I think like everyone people made fun of her when she went to the White House when she was doing legal work and like that is what fuels her in this and even smaller things but this is such an obvious like failure because it's an F. Right. You did not pass. Other things she can say like she can now say she acted. I know she wants to go and probably win an Oscar but still anyone who said she could enact look no she has successfully number one show on who. This is so black and white and I don't think she can live with the failure on her resume. But I do think like taking such a big break will set her back like academically. It's like so much information. It's so dense. She's like in it for years. But the way she was doing it was unsuccessful and other people like who study for the bar study for shorter and get it done and so maybe it will be like she eventually takes a four-month block not working on anything else just studying for the bar like I think she will come back to this not right now because she has so much momentum and other things but like she can only do the bar like she shouldn't try and study for the bar while doing other while on set for how she was doing it. That season was that last season. Yeah it was just like genuinely painful to watch. Yeah and I don't think there's like an emotional element too because of like her dad so yeah it's unfortunate that it didn't just like work out because like she could also stop doing the lawyer stuff or whatever but if she passed the bar like because that was like this thing. It's just she doesn't ever have to work the law day in her life. She has to pass the bar and if we what we know about her and everything she's shared about her personality like she will not let this rest. Yeah. I do think it will be a very long break though until she can come back with the strategy. Yeah. But it's like how do you study differently? You had the best tutors in the world. You had a massage and a hotel suite the night like maybe she needs to go to like seriously just like one of those classes. Like regular like that regular people. Yeah it like a tutor. Yeah I do think maybe also she is at a disadvantage. She's not she doesn't have higher education. Only Courtney was the one who went to college. So it's like yeah most people who become lawyers even if they're not like the smartest or people the one they don't have access to like they know how to test take. They've been through college like they know are used to doing big readings like maybe not having a higher education is is a factor. Maybe some people just aren't good test takers. That's true as well. Are you? I have not taken a test. But if my academic career is any indication no I'm not a good test taker but I'm not like someone who's like I'm a bad test taker. I don't know how to say. I'm like I just didn't know enough like I didn't take the test wrong. I just didn't. Yeah that's like I had poor scoring. Is that because I'm a bad test taker? Maybe. Is it because I literally didn't study or care? Also a possibility. And I think people who like identify as a bad test taker would stick in on them because it's like lameless like they just have take no accountability in their life. Just didn't know it's not like you knew everything. And of course I'm not talking about two people who are to slacks. They can have learning disability. No. Of course not. But there are people that are just say that I'm not your bad test taker. Have a disability who like acts like they know everything but when it came to the test they were like leave you blah. Maybe you're a bad studyer. Maybe you just didn't know it. You didn't know the material. Maybe you didn't try hard enough. There's nothing wrong with the test. It's like how? And like assuming it's a pretty straight forward test. Because like what would make you a bad test taker? Now that I'm like digging deep. Just know if someone ever tells you that about themselves they're full of shit. No, I just expect like a lack of accountability. Yeah. All aspects of their life. 100%. Again, unless they have some sort of learning disability. 100%. We're just talking about the regular abled people who act like they're geniuses but they're bad test takers. Sure, Jan. Right. Because the geniuses I know actually like did good on tests. Right. Right. Where was just the other work? Where was just a test of their acumen. Right. Where they ask you the question and you give the answer. So like maybe you're not a genius if you can't answer it. Like maybe your legit just dumb like ever thought about that. Yeah. But you're a swindler though because you can't just admit that you're done. There's nothing wrong with being dumb. Right. Not only are you dumb but you're manipulative. Yeah. You have to act like oh no, I didn't know the test. Right. But I'm a bad test taker. Whatever that means. Yeah. You're a swindler. That's a good point. You dumb on day. Like that's totally. There is no shame in being dumb. No. A little shame. But there's there's a little bit of shame but like only for self-impotions. It's true. Like he's like cares if you're dumb. Yeah. And he's like what is dumb? You know. It's relative. What number? Three. Yeah. Haley Bieber is revealing her lonely journey with a health condition following the birth of her son. So Haley Bieber says she felt alone battling pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder PMDD after giving birth to her son Jack Blues. She spoke about her diagnosis in a recent interview with Women's Wear Daily. According to the Mayo Clinic PMDD is a severe extension of pre-menstrual syndrome PMS. So it's a severe extension of PMS that causes extreme mood swings. Behavioral symptoms can include sadness or hopelessness, anxiety, extreme moodiness, irritability, and anger. She said after my I had my son I struggled with PMDD a bit and there's just not a lot of conversation or research about it. She said talking about her struggles had helped her. Conversation for me personally makes me feel less alone. When we can identify with each other and have conversations relating to each other and talking about the things we're dealing with and struggling with, I do think it makes it feel like less of a lonely journey. I would agree with that especially as a new mama. Yeah and new mamas need to commiserate with other new mamas. She talks openly about she's like a very traumatic birth too and like a bad postpartum and it's like she's my sister in pregnancy and I keep like waiting for her to join but I think like she's actually very traumatized from the whole experience and is still healing from it. You know what happened in her birth? No I remember she did an interview in. Was it with the TMD? She did do TMD podcast but no it was a written interview in a magazine and I don't remember exactly what happened but it was just like you know like any birth. Yeah everyone. Not standard. Nothing goes wrong. Some things go right and I think it was very traumatizing. Oh wow and then she had extreme PMS and more so than the average. Right. It sounds like which yeah can be isolating and I feel like if you don't have a good group of people around you you just like talk to just commiserate even just like talk about the realities of motherhood it can be very lonely. She should have talked to Kylie. Kylie's very open about the baby please. That's true. I wonder if she did she probably did. Probably did. But like a lot of those girls in that circle like not a lot of them. Haley's one of like the early ones to have babies yeah and it's hard to be the first one. Oh my god. You have no idea what it's gonna be like. She had it to my girl on I think about her all the time. First girl in my friend group to have a baby like by years. Yeah. Doesn't have any sisters like I have like I will
I wasn't the first in my group, but I have you guys. So like, if I didn't have like my mom friends, I have my sisters. I had plenty. I think about Anna all the time. Like, had no older sisters or mom, of course. No older sisters and first in our group. - Yeah. - She's such a queen. - It's also funny. I don't know if you had this, but I wound up, when I like had Harriet, and it was like my first out, there was like a girl who I knew who also gave birth like that week. I mean, just wound up becoming like so close texting every day. We have never really texted before that. I'll tell you-- - Just like, I have a whisper, like-- - Oh yeah, but like, you knew her. - No, no, no, no, knew her, but maybe a happy birthday text once a year, and like we wound up talking for months, just like sharing stories and experiences. So it's like so nice to find someone who's literally to the day going through what you're going through. - Yes, it does connect. I am sure Lorna-Lena and I would have been like best friends forever because we were close before, but no, no, we talk all the time. - Yeah. Yeah, that's so Lorna-Lena's yours. - Yes. - Yeah. - 'Cause she was like a week after me. - That's so sweet. - So it's really nice to have someone like that, and if you're like a new mama, it doesn't even have to be someone you're already super close with, can be like a girl, you know, from high school. - It's not weird. - It's not weird. - I'm here to tell you something. - Especially if you're both first-time mamas. It's like, what is this? - You know what, that's a great sponsor, a sponsor. That's a great segue into our sponsor today, which is parallel, as you guys know. A great company for women's health, and I was just talking about their prenatals, which I've been on for quite some time. If you're looking for supplements, either as prenatals, or if you're looking to get yourself primed for conception, parallel is an amazing company. So I've been taking my parallel for a really long time. They have the mom multibitamin, which is like for after pregnancy, they have a pre-conception pack. They have something for your man. They of course have prenatals. It's all tailored to your experience and what phase of life that you're in. I was convinced to switch to parallel when I realized that they have different vitamins for different trimesters. It's like, I don't know, I just felt like so thoughtful, taking one pill every day for almost a year. I don't know, it just doesn't sound compelling to me. The idea of changing every trimester, it is a pack. So it's the one that I'm on is five. It has magnesium, my favorite. And I also don't have the energy to like source my own pills. Like, yeah, you can make your own, I guess. And then I'm like putting them in pill boxes. They come in these little packs. I keep the packs my nightstand, but I do also keep them in my purse or something. I try to take them at night. Sometimes you forget whatever. It's really great. It's very convenient. And they have something for the man in your life as well. If you're like trying to conceive, 'cause it shouldn't all be on you. ClearStem is also available now at Target Beauty Studio Locations Nationwide. - Thank you, Tert Wied. You're, thank you. Tert Cations Nationwide. - Thank you. - Wied. - Wied. - After all that I've been through. And you've been there for all of it. - I'm so sorry. It was a reply. - Just go. Just read the story. - Tert Cations. - Our next story. Jennifer Lawrence Channel's Katniss Everdeen with an iconic Hunger Games salute while out in New York City. So Jayla went for her daily stroll in New York City and not only was she wearing a braid. - Like, do you know it was a proper? - Now, are you breathing out or breathing in? - Out, what about you? - Okay, so I don't really know how to whistle and anytime I do, it's because I'm sucking air in, which is wrong. - I just think the whistle is the sound. However you get there. - Do we look when we whistle? - I whistle a little bit, but I wouldn't say I'm an amazing whistle. But this is me. - This is how fine myself like whistling while I work. - Really? (whistling) - This is me blowing out whistle, ready? I'm gonna do the Hunger Games. (whistling) - It got worse. You did the good one. - Yeah, and that's when I suck in. - Oh. - I think whistle is all about the sound you're knitting and how you get there. - Is nobody's business? (whistling) - How do you do like the lower? - That's what I was struggling. - Yeah. (whistling) - What an interesting podcast to watching people whistle. (laughing) - Whistling is so weird. I don't even know why we get hit. Like we're so interested. - I wish I could. Like it's such a slay. It's what you people can go like fast and quick and do, do, do, do, do, do. - Like whistle while you work. (laughing) Can you guys even hear us? (laughing) - Oh, so Jennifer Lawrence went like this. She put three fingers in the air and people were freaking. Obviously like hunger games I was telling you yesterday. - Yes, I now I am singing. And I'm also seeing McKenna Grace. And this was another headline that I wanted to share. McKenna Grace who's like the new catness. - She is a new catness. She's officially crowned the egg girl. People are less than what I was trying to tell you yesterday. People are loving her looks. And she has like a lot of internet lore 'cause she was like a child star and just like has been in the industry for a while. And she recently made headlines. Like are being taken out of context, but she was, I guess an actress who is now a certain age and she has decided that she will not be doing. - Nudity. - So she's been turning down roles that require nudity 'cause she has dreams of one day playing in Disney Princess. She said at this point I definitely don't do nudity or very hypersexual things. I respect anybody who can, but it's terrifying to me. I don't know if that will ever change. It's not like I only do wholesome things, but my dream is to try and be a Disney Princess someday. - Now I didn't even think about it. Can you not be a Disney Princess? [BLANK_AUDIO]
you've shown today, like, I guess not. - Well, I guess there's probably no written law, but I guess Disney higher ups would say-- - Let's talk about recent Disney princesses. - No to that. And then also, variety noted that Amy Adams actually comes to mind because she played Jacelle and Enchanted in 2007, and then declined Ron Sheer movies in the years that followed in order to preserve the image of her for Disney fans. - And I just wanna say on a multitude of levels, like let's talk about the Disney thing. Like yeah, if you're gonna be like a kid star, like you can't be showing today. - Yeah. - Sorry, I think that's just fair. But also, like on a human level, I think a young girl like being scared to get naked, like not only in the room of people where it's happening, but then be on screen station wide. Like yeah, I feel like more people, like the fact that I've never heard anyone say this take which is such a normal relatable take. Like yeah, I would literally rather die. Like and it's not because I'm like modest 'cause like I feel awkward and embarrassed. Like it's such a normal thing for her to say. And I'm surprised I've never heard anyone say it. Like, - But we only know like the guy for me has for the house. I have two won't kiss. - Yes. And I know that there are actresses actually up until recently Jennifer Lawrence was one of them. - Yeah. - Who wouldn't you need me. And then she randomly showed her vagina in that bad movie. Like she's somebody who does like it. And I think that nudity is layered because nudity can be art. It can. Like when I think of Kate Whittaker. - Like David's Michelangelo. - When I think of Michelangelo's David. - Kate me like one of your French girls. - Like I don't think of Kate Winslet as having done like nudity. It was art. - It was like a nude. - Yeah, but I don't think of it. And it was only one nipple actually. - She said noons. - It was only one nipple. It only counts. - If you saw a nipple. - There are layers to it. And I'm sorry. Summer like a little bit classier than others. And like some like when Jennifer Lawrence randomly showed her vagina in that romcom that like isn't and she's known for doing like high art films. That was really random to me. And to me, I would have considered her somebody who doesn't do nudity. Zendaya doesn't do nudity. She doesn't talk about it either. - Yeah. - But she would definitely be eligible for this. Oh, she is Disney. - Yeah. - And as a cover. - You can also see it like when we're watching a movie and like someone's penis or boobs are shown for no reason. And then someone who like brings mine off campus. Like we got a lot of ass and titties. But not from the main characters. Also. Carrie Bradshaw. Everyone in that show was naked. Every single episode you never saw a butt cheek. A nipple, a side boob, nothing. That was clearly just like a hard line for her. - Say it doesn't impact the work at all. I didn't even know that fact. Like. - Which fact? - That Carrie didn't show. - Yeah, if I think about it. - She was never naked. - And other people were naked. But it doesn't affect like we don't need in so much nudity. Like it's okay. - I completely agree. - I want to do it like that's fine. - And the fact that my kind of grace like has this reason because it's like a dream of hers and she doesn't want to do something that would impact a potential dream. And honestly she's in the Hunger Games. Like yeah, she could be a Disney star. - She looks like one. - Yeah. I'm sure she wanted Rapunzel. She looks just like. - Who's being Rapunzel? - It was like a new face. No, it's not ill-fanning. It's like a young new face, which is great also. But she could definitely have a future as a Disney princess. But you don't necessarily need a reason to not want to do it. - Yeah, you don't. But I never even thought about like the Disney girlies. Not only beforehand because you probably won't get cast, but afterwards like Amy Adams. - Sequel. - Apparently she wound up being in a sequel, but also she was supposed to do an SNL cat sketch that was like really dirty. And she said. That's really funny, but I can't do that. Little girls are so obsessed with enchanted right now. They'll find this and we'll be scarring for them. I just can't mix that right now. - Yeah. - Like normalize just like not wanting to be gross too. Like that's okay also. Like outside of nudity. Like when I was just wanting to be like a good role model. - Yeah. - For the youth. - Seven Kevin energy. - Yeah, this like feels so radical. - It feels like from a different time. Like no one's even saying stuff like this anymore. - Yeah. We have like reached peak nudity in terms of TV and film. - You think it's peak? I don't think it's peak. - It's the peak of so far in my lifetime. - I'm like, but I think it keeps going up. - It's insane. Like the amount of really unnecessary. And I love a beautiful love scene. And that's what I really liked about the love hypothesis. I think I said that too. It is like one of those like erotic books, but they really didn't make it that. And it was like a beautiful love scene with the sky she fell in love with. Like it's nice. Like not to be like such a Karen, but like. - No, it can be nice. There's so many like things that are nice. - So they feel like we've reached peak. - Yeah. And they do it just to do it. It's like nobody's, nothing's happening. And it's like here's some anal. - And then I also, right. I think also in an attempt to like balance it out because it was like all, when we talk about nudity, we talk about women. It's always boobs and like sometimes a man's ass cheek. So I think in an attempt to like balance it out, we started seeing penises. And it's like, well, now we're just seeing everyone's penises and vagina's like, it wasn't a good faith effort. But now it's like, there's penises. - Yeah, they were doing it like for women's rights. - Yes, right. Cause a man's nipples not the same as a woman's nipples. - Right, but like, yeah. So like boobs are the same category. And penises and vagina are the same category. But like we're seeing boobs and nothing else. And that doesn't feel balanced. - Right. So then we're also now seeing penises cause what demand have to offer their boobs don't count. - Yeah. So they're trying to help the women. - Right. And now everyone's penis. - Everyone's penis. - And I can't watch TV on a plane anymore because it's embarrassing. - Yeah, agreed. - Are we agree on that? - Are you ready for our phenomenal story? Denise Richards is fueling real house has a Beverly Hills speculation with her surprising cast trip reveal. So Denise Richards had revealed that she filmed for the season 16 cast trip of real house has a Beverly Hills. She also said that she will appear in several episodes of the upcoming season. - Well, I guess as long as these aren't there, like why wouldn't she not? - But I just feel like if Denise Richards is coming back, like, Rinna has to be there. So like, Rinna has to apply. - Help her. - Because it's like, yeah, we could all be like, oh yeah, Denise, we always loved you. But like, she still deserves an apology and the apology starts with Rinna. - Well, Rinna has just recently said she will never return to the real house of Beverly Hills. Which is easy for her to say cause she's having a career high like coming off of traders and she's like very in her circle in fashion and her daughters like these huge models. So like, it might not always be that way cause I think when she accepted real house of Beverly Hills, that wasn't the case. She's a hustler like she says. So she's having a peak right now. She doesn't need it, but, you know, that might not. But I could see, there are other things that you can do now in a valley when you want to restore your career. - You know, you don't have to go back there. - She could do dancing with the stars. - Absolutely. And she has been sort of catapulted to a new tier of celebrity that before, when she was just sort of like out of work actress part-time host, her having a valley, like how are you paying your bills? But her valley is now, she's still, she's very, she's employable for a lot of the things that are going on right now, like traders. - Yes, yes, yes, with the service. Maybe at that time, it felt like housewives was her ticket out and it was, but now there are other tickets 'cause you are a former housewife and a former reality star. And also like her husband is really well and her girls are doing really well. I know she's a hustler and she always wants to work, but as you get older, like things might change. - Yeah, that's true. And I would love to see Denise come back. She had one of the worst stints on real housewives ever. Like, I'm trying to think of who came and went so quickly and so poorly. Like, crashed and burned. And now I feel like she's come out on top because like the fandom turned on Lisa Rina, who was her op, she got to worse. So like that just makes me interesting. And her husband was kind of like blame all the problems you were having on the show and was only involved. - 'Cause he was very involved. - And you can blame that all on the husband. Like, oh, I was being this way because I had a bad hug. - But I just want to say, like, wasn't only Denise. It was also Erica. So like if she did come back like Erica, sorry, it wasn't only Rina, it was also Erica. They were like a little bit of a tag team. - Yes, but they had a lovely conversation last season on Beverly Hills. - Oh yeah. - And also her and Rina have this like really big history. - Yeah. - Erica was just a random cast. - Erica was just Rina's friend. - Yeah. I would love to see her come back. If only just like rectify the situation. She was great. I want to hear more about her face lift and her crazy ass husband. - Yeah, her face looks amazing. - Her face looks insane. - And she's really open about it like. - Yeah. Well, she talks about like something I have in her marriage when she was recovering from her face lift. - Oh yeah. - That was so upsetting. - Is that when he was physically abusive? - Yeah, when she was literally like post-op, one day, like a face falling off. - Yeah, right. - No, she is this like inherently interesting woman. I would love to see her back. Kyle outed her. Like they all, I'm sorry, it's not just Rina. They all over her in apology. And then Kyle end up you being like having a struggle with her sexuality and refusing to talk about it. And everyone has to respect that. But you're over here outing Brandy and Denise. - Denise. That was a, like literally she had such a bad showing. - Yeah. - And it was such a get for Bravo. - They paid her more than they've ever paid anyone. - More million dollars for two seasons. Like was it worth it? Honestly, no. - No, it was it. But I'm glad at least she got paid like for the waste of time. - Just so she could give half of it to her loser husband who's like claims he's carrying cancer and everybody's following him around in black SUVs like with on marked vehicles and dented windows. Like yeah. - So that's the stories that you need to know. - I would agree that your summation of random celebrity news was 100% correct? - Like post-election news. I don't think we could really ask for more. You can't always get a Tom and Erica. - No. - Sometimes you get a Denise and that's fine. - Sometimes you get, what do we talk about? - What do we talk about? Dance with the stars, Tatiana. - I know. - Came in the bar. - Came in the bar, Haley, and the Hunger Games, J-Law. J-Law are a braid. Yeah, it's post-election. - Oh, we do talk about the fact that J-Law did this thing. We like br- bros- bros pass that. - Yeah, she's, you know. - She's in her like era of like appealing to the public. - You need to learn from brands. - Yeah, you need customers. - And you don't have the luxury of what she's always had. Which is like not having to give anything up for personality. Anything we've gotten from J-Law in the last decade is just because she wanted to give it to us. - Do you see that they explain the degree? - No. - Oh, I posted it to my story. Let me pull up. - Who's that? - The Mest degree, people. - Was I right about the science? - Not in, yes and no. Yes and there's more. - Oh, sorry. - Yes, but wait, there's more.
Hold on. I've got to find this critical piece of information. To the lighting stuff. I mean, in Switch Sweaters, it's fine. Oh, I'm so excited. We've never done that. Maybe tomorrow, like, I'll just wear that sweater and yours wear this one. Well, we literally do that like organic, yeah. But we never had a live switch. We live switch. I said switch. We never had a live switch. OK, here it is. I'm sorry, I'm going. Goodbye. I'm done. Are you ready? This is my co-founder. Co-founder. Do you know what that means? I always imagine having a hairline called mess. And, you know, I-- Oh, it's a great market, do I? That's what-- That was always kind of the name in my heart. But, you know, we had to go through the process of trying to find the name. We hired this big company, you know, thousands of names. We spend one, two and a half years trying to think of the name-- Oh, you're going to have to end up right back at mess. Because Jen was like, this is what I want to call it. And I was like, life is messy. Yeah. The philosophy goes so much deeper than hair. We were designing the logo. And this was a total coincidence. But the logo ended up being designed at the S. And then the degree symbol at the top. When we saw it, we were like, oh, because S, what the degree symbol is, like, standard entropy. I explain what entropy I could, but I choose not to. The measure of disorder in a system. Almost like the scientific word for mess. And I thought, oh, how poetic it is. I remember actually explaining this to her. S. Turn it off. S degrees for the entropy. And S degree also happens to mean mess in science. Yes. Got it. OK. Whatever the intended effect of J-Law is like new images, it's having the opposite effect on me. But maybe I'm just a hormonal impregnant and not receptive to cutesy little hair products. Hating, everything. OK, entropy. OK, S degree. Thank you so much for listening to the toast, the money.
