Welcome to The Ring or Fantasy Football Show. My name is Dan Hyfe. I'm joined by Danny Killian, Chris Coralbeck, and we're going through all the players. You need that after week six, going to week seven of the NFL season, but first, a lot of news on this Monday, October 19th, starting with Jalen Hertz, quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles. Out for the season, after doctors discover multiple blood clots in his lungs, which just a scary thing to read and a really weird sequence on top of the season from hell for Philadelphia. And honestly, reading this was just, I mean, concerning. Yeah, I hope he's all right. It sounded like him playing in that game was kind of crazy where there was reports about how much he slept and just kind of how difficult it was for him. And he seemed to have toughed it out and he's a super tough guy. So explain this to me, it was the calf first, right? There was a blood clot in the calf and now it has moved to the lungs or those separate issues that are both blood clots. So let me, let me just, you want me to just give the timeline as I understand it at this moment. This is probably going to change over time. And obviously there's a lot we don't know. And I love that everybody in the United States become an expert, expert in pulmonary embolisms all of a sudden. Embley, yeah. You're right. Yeah. I gotta say, this is like Apex Mountain for sleep being a narrative in the NFL. We've never talked more about sleep in an NFC season than this season. Should we start with the sleep thing because Tom Pellicera reported at first, our colleague here at the ringer, Tom Pellicera reported that Jalen Hertz didn't sleep overnight into the game, which kind of immediately came. 36 hours. He was up for 36 hours before the game. And the recommendation of his doctor. Correct. So that kind of immediately became the thing that I feel like dominated the internet and also was in every group chat. Tom, this afternoon kind of clarified that. And Tom wrote that he spoke to Jalen Hertz agent Nicole Lynn, who clarified that Jalen Hertz was up. It seems like he was up late. Again, they landed Saturday morning in London. And he was at a hospital Saturday night into Sunday morning. And Tom basically clarified that he did get the opportunity to have a room to sleep in. And I don't know if it was like literally like he didn't sleep for 36 hours. Or necessarily, am I sure that like the doctors told Jalen he can't sleep. I think that it might have just been like a sleep in rest and activity or places where in theory, you know what I mean, the blood clot could form or whatever. But I think Tom's already kind of clarified that I don't know that Jalen Hertz just did and sleep and pull it all night or into the game. You know what I mean? Yeah. So here's the timeline of what we know as of right now. This is again, October 19th. I have a feeling the story will evolve. Yeah. Egos play the Rams Jalen Hertz calf gets stepped on in this October 4th game. And the next week week five is Eagles versus the Jaguars and that game is in London. The Eagles land in London Saturday morning. They did the Rams thing and they went really late. So the Eagles land Saturday morning October 10th. And it seems that Jalen Hertz goes to these doctors on Saturday and they see specialists in London. And they diagnosed Jalen Hertz with this superficial blood clot in his calf, which again, superficial meaning close to the surface, deep clots versus it was like a surface area clot. So then something happens where Jalen Hertz doesn't sleep, sleeps a little, something happens that Jalen Hertz asleep, but we can go to that in a moment what that really meant. And then he plays in this Jaguars Eagles game. The Eagles almost win the game. Then the Eagles fly home almost immediately after. And then chefter writes that at some point over the past 24 hours, at some point last two or three days, the phrase chef to use was, quote, additional information surfaced. End quote, don't know what that means, where, you know, further test. And then Jalen Hertz agent Nicole in writes, quote, after further testing and monitoring, the current diagnosis is a deep vein thrombosis as well as bilateral pulmonary embolite. End quote, which what it means is it turns out it hurts now has multiple blood clots in his lungs, needs to go on blood thinners, probably for months. And he can't play football on blood thinners because you could die because you can't hit blood on blood thinners. Because bleeding. Yeah, you can't, you know, if your internal bleeding needs to be able to clot. So anyway, all that's to say is I feel like this just raises a bunch of questions about was Jalen Hertz exposed to any unnecessary risk, whether that is risk of playing in the game with the clots or whatever, you know, the timing really and really I think the flights. Those are kind of the three big things is I'm not a doctor. I think a lot of two, frankly, I think too many people are playing doctor with all this. Kind of amazing how many people have opinions and everything. I think it's there's a chance, frankly, that the flights were more of a risk to him than the football because the danger with football and the clots again is the blood thinners are kind of the problem with football. I don't know and can't speak to like the blood clots and football and everything. I think the interesting thing is that Jalen Hertz got on a flight with this blood clot and everything. So I don't really know. I don't know what to make of this story. There's certainly a lot of questions. I do think a lot of people are jumping to conclusions about the Eagles medical staff and everything. I don't know. But it's certainly to steal the term Jalen Hertz used a unique situation. Right. Right. I know Cereani had a weird interview and the reporters were getting prickly with him about the timeline and what they knew, but it's like part of me is like Cereani is not a doctor. Like Cereani does what the Eagles medical staff tells him they should do. I feel like it's hard to get mad at Cereani because it's like, is it really Cereani's call about whether Jalen Hertz gets on a flight or not? He's just doing what the medical staff recommends. No? Well, I think that is the question is did he pressure or it was their undue pressure from the coaching staff to push Jalen Hertz to play in this game was or was it like Jalen Hertz was pushing and was ignoring some of the warnings from doctors. Yeah, because like I've said, one of the big risk factors with having a blood clot is flying. Sure. Flying can be a big risk. And he got this diagnosed in London. So he'd already flown there, but then he flew back and now they found the lung and then they found after more testing that it was actually in the deep veins, deep vein thrombosis and it had moved to his lungs, which is obviously like, that is a fear of death. Like you could die from that. So that's very a very serious thing. That's why he's going on blood thinners. That's why he can't play for the rest of the season. And so I think it's I think people are just trying to figure out the timeline and whether the whether the Eagles knew about this and pressured him or forced him to play, which I tend to think probably didn't happen. But you know, I think there is a wanted to play right. So there's just a lot of open space here for people to, you know, like put conspiracies or, you know, potentially this really did happen where the coaches are trying to pressure him into playing or whatever, ignoring some of these warning signs. So there's just a lot that we don't know. As I said, I bet you this will be a multi month story that develops could be a very serious thing, you know, as the season goes on and during into the off season. So, and then obviously, you know, it's very scary for Hertz and hopefully he can continue his playing career after the season because, you know, sometimes this is a serious enough thing where guys have to not, you know, they have to end up playing or ending their career. So this is, this is a very serious thing and we just don't really know enough about it too. Yeah. I recommend Stefania Bell, who is an ESPN for a long time, Stefania on her Instagram. I recommend she interviewed and posted the interview last week. She had Dr. Jason Lee who's the chief of vascular surgery at Stanford Healthcare and she talked to much of her last week and she had him back on for this week. And if you want to learn more about it, it's like a 10 minute video. It's pretty informative. And obviously you can't talk, you know, the guy didn't perform on Jail and Hertz, but all day this guy's dealing with blood plots. And so, you know, if you want to learn more about it, you can't, I do think it's a little more complicated than everyone's making it out today. I don't, I still have questions though. I'm mainly just interested in what happened with the process of Hertz getting on the flight. And again, I don't know either. The part of me I keep wondering about is the simplest answer is I kind of feel like they're there on Saturday and they're like, I feel like my gut is most people when they have a, this kind of blood clot discovered in them in their calf on Saturday and the games the next day. I imagine that doctors generally speaking are not advising you to go on a transatlantic flight like 48 hours later. And if Jail and Hertz, you're like, I'm not going to fucking take a boat back to America. Like you know what I mean? Like I'm getting on the plane and going home in two days. And then maybe what happens is it's something along the lines of they're like, okay, what's the risk of clotting? And they're like, well, it's not actually immobility. It's, it's mobility is good for like, you know what I mean? They actually want, you know, it's like warm compresses. They want you to like move around. They're like, you don't want to sit all the time. That's one of the issues with the plane. And maybe that ends up looking like, oh, sleep or something. I don't think the doctors are like, don't sleep. I think it's much closer.
such a like inactivity is the enemy. And Jalen Hertz either with the team doctors or whatever if Jalen Hertz is like, I'm getting on the plane, I don't care. Then they're like, all right, avoid inactivity. And maybe Jalen Hertz comes to the conclusion that I should only sleep for like an hour at a time or something 'cause I wanna get on this plane and go home. And so that's one of those things where I don't necessarily think it has to be like a giant conspiracy. Part of me is like, it might start with Jalen Hertz being like, I'm gonna play this game, get on the plane and then like, we'll go from there. But I don't, we don't know what happened. And like, it is, Dera, I don't know. It's more complicated probably than people wanna make it. But yeah, it's a very, very, very strange story. - Yeah. - We should also say that the agent's statement said that the prognosis is good and that they expect him, he can like remain physically active, he'll be with the team and they expect him to like fully recover on both ends and be fine. - It's also worth noting that this is not by any means unprecedented because so just to give you like a little list, Chris Olave last year had a pulmonary embolism in week 18 last year, he's doing great. Like, Tray Smith is an all pro guard for the chiefs. I believe had blood clots in college that Patriots have had two players, David Andrews and Christian Barmore had blood clots issues. And actually, ironically, Taylor Moten, who's an offensive tackle for the Panthers, made his, had blood clots this year in June and was coughing a blood and ironically made his season debut this week against the Eagles. So, he's not like a career ending thing necessarily at all. - No, and to follow up on that, here's the exact statement. Jalen's prognosis is very good and we expect a full recovery. We anticipate that he will have the opportunity to resume contact football activities when off the blood thinners. And in the meantime, he will remain active around the team and continue to condition. More importantly, we anticipate that he will have no long term effects. - And that's the thing. And the next steps are kind of really simple. As you take the blood, the blood thinners until Jalen hurts doesn't have any clots and then they have to take them off the blood thinners and they have to see if the clots return. And then you go from there. And it's like, why does he have, you know what I mean? And just, you know, so we'll see what happens. - I know. Pivoting to football, we should probably just mention, talk about that the Eagles, I mean, it was probably already over, but now it is officially over. And this is just like, that there's like three teams experiencing the year from hell this year. The charges and the Eagles are now in that category with Jalen hurts out for the rest of the year. The offensive line is in shambles, say quants hurt. And it begs the question of what the Eagles do with the remainder of this season. - I mean, isn't a fire sale? At this point, I think it has to be. I mean, the Eagles are the ultimate. They're involved in every call. And I mean, this is, I mean, you got landing Dickerson's and Andrew Reserve, Lane Johnson retires, Kamjurgen's trade. It's say quants got a hamstring injury. Devonti Smith is hamstring injury. And now Jalen hurts us out for the season. So I mean, and the offense was already a disaster. So I'm like, do they trade? You guys have been saying Craig went over and over like Eagles should trade say quant. And I was like, well, he has a hamstring injury. What are you gonna get for him? And at this point, like, I don't know who in this roster is not gonna, they're gonna take phone calls at everybody. - Right. - I would agree with you. I mean, there was a report that Minnesota is looking to make a trade at running back. But it was a bunch of guys like Tyler Algier type names. I don't know if they'd want to go bigger and go after somebody like Sequan. I don't know, we talked about Seattle. There are many teams that could use Sequan who need that little extra burst right now at running back. So I don't know with how he, the Eagles have been very smart about getting rid of guys in a Bella Checkie in way, I would say. So it's definitely possible. - And the defense too, this is rock bottom for Philly. That's really the way I look at it. It's rock bottom for everyone involved because the Eagles, it's the worst four game. It's the only four game losing streak. I think under Nick Seriani, but you gotta remember, the Eagles probably, they fired Doug Peterson the last time they lost four straight. - And all the players they've drafted since then have been for real like high level elite college programs. So like their defense, I think I counted eyeballed it. But like, I think 10 players in the Eagles defense played at either Bama, Georgia or Texas. None of these guys have ever lost four games in a row. Like none of these players on this team have ever gone a month without winning a game. Cooper DeGene was talking about that. And so like they're really rattled. And also Tanner McKee was horrible. And maybe that's maybe Hertz was taking reps during the week. But I mean, the first play of the game for the Eagles was a disaster. - It just feels unlikely to me that Say Kwan who I think like maybe is like very close to coming back. I think you'll miss either no more games or one more game. It just feels unlikely to me that they're just gonna give him the ball 23 times the game for the rest of the season. It doesn't make any sense. - No. I mean, it's-- - Do you think he would want a trade at this point too? - I don't know, it's hard to say. - Yeah. - Yeah, it's a disaster season. And the other one that absolute disaster season is the Indianapolis Colts who fired the GM today. So the Colts blew a game to the tennis. The winless Titans yesterday. So now the Colts fired Chris Ballard who oversaw Indianapolis for a decade. DeGene, we talked about this yesterday. Were you surprised that Chris Ballard got fired but Shane Steak and the head coach got this day? - No, I do. Generally, I think he was gonna be the first domino to fall. We'll see what happens with Steak in the rest of the year and going forward. But yeah, I mean, Ballard, some of the decisions he made from a personnel point of view, the trade for Sasgardner I think was kind of the biggest one, giving up two first round picks. Sasgardner, by the way, hurt again. - Another calf strength. - Yeah, and so he, I think there was big expectations for him. He was a guy that got a lot of praise for his evaluation ability, but he also made some interesting moves along the way. And their defense has underperformed. Their offense is dramatically underperforming. And I think the buck kind of stops with him first. And I think eventually we'll see what happens with Steak in. But no, it wasn't surprising whatsoever. He was always kind of on a hot seat coming into the season. And I think it's gonna be really interesting going forward what they do. Is this gonna be like an eagle situation where they start to, you know, try and fire sail some of the assets that they have where they can rebuild their sock pile of traffic. They have a first round pick next year. Are they gonna try and trade Jonathan Taylor, DeForest Buckner. There's a long list of guys that could potentially be on the trade block with whoever ends up being the decision-maker going forward for the roster. The other thing I'm wondering is like, are they gonna try and see if Trent Richardson, not Trent Richardson, Anthony Richardson is going to be like, take a look at him and see if they can get anything from him or like keep going with this Daniel Jones experiment, coming off the Achilles. I just think there's a chance as we just see the team really change their sort of tack and strategy. - Quentin Nelson is in a contract. - Quentin Nelson is another great one. - They could trade him. I mean, so the quote that caught my eye from Carly Ursa Gordon, she said, making this change during the season was a deliberate decision, waiting would only delay the important work that needs to begin now, end quote, which could mean something vague, but in reality, yeah, I think that means they're gonna make some traits and recoup some picks. - There's a lot of teams that are bottoming out pretty early into the season. Whether or not they doing it just on purpose or they got unlucky like Philadelphia, but LA, Indianapolis, Philly, Miami started the season kind of that way. There are a lot of teams that are kind of like rock bottom and we just finished, we haven't even finished week six. - It's a buyer's market if you're in the trade. - Totally. - If you're in the trade. - And the trade deadline's in three weeks, right? It's the 10th of November. - I mean, there's a lot. The furthest stuff I'm gonna say, one sequence pulled is hamstring. I'm like, could you get John Taylor from the cults? Maybe they don't want to trade him, but it depends. Like if you're the sea hawks or you're someone, again, probably unlikely, but Quentin Nelson. Like we-- - Taylor's like prime of his career still looks, I mean, you probably have to at least give a second for him, right? - I would say, yeah. - It depends 'cause some of the, like Quentin Nelson's probably a good example because there's Cam Jürgen's just went for second rounder and Nelson's better if three years older. On one hand, Cam Jürgen's is like under contract till basically 2030. And Nelson's till the end of the year. But then also, if he goes to free agent, see any signs of big contract, you get a compensatory pick. So then it goes into, are you gonna spend it free agents here or not, which gets kind of boring and accounting-ish. But all that stuff factors into whether teams want to pay guys or not. Like DeForest Buckter is a good example. It's just a really good veteran defensive tackle. Stephen Holder, this good stat, he's being double, he's getting drawing double teams in the offensive line at the highest rate of his career. 75% of stamps. Then I'm like, just send him back to the San Francisco 49ers. - He came out after the game with some pretty strong quotes, too. - He basically said, "I'm tired of the same old song and dance." - More players should have been that angry. - Yeah. - I'm more players should feel like that. So it's an interesting thing. To that point though, about the same old song and dance. Chris Ballard, you know, it's funny. He was there for almost 10 years. They did not win the division once. - I know, I was gonna say that's tough. - AFC South, they could not win the AFC South and wanted to get nine seasons. - Did they go to two playoffs? - They went to the playoffs twice. They were wildcard each time. They won one playoff game. I don't think there's any GM that can really come. You didn't win the division in nine years. Like you got your shot. And frankly, Chris Ballard, I think, parlayed some savvy smoothing with the media with the Andrew Luck retired, right? When he got hired, basically. And that gym or say was traumatized by that. Like, you know, Chris Ballard was traumatized by that. The cults were. And they never, frankly, they're still in the wake of the Andrew Luck retirement. Because the weak one starting quarterbacks under Chris Ballard were Scott Tollsian. Andrew Luck, Jacobi Reset, Philip Rivers, Carson Wentz, Matt Ryan, and then two years of Anthony Richardson, and then two years of Daniel Jones. So they had what is that seven or two, four, seven different weak one starters in the first seven years, Richardson, Daniel Jones. And frankly, Chris Ballard decided that instead of throwing in his lot with a franchise quarterback, he was going to just kind of cycle an old veterans until he got the right guy. So they went with percent, then Rivers, then Wentz, then Matt Ryan. And then the guy decided to go for his Anthony Richardson. And he ignored the biggest red flag of all, which was that Anthony Richardson's college coach at Florida said that he thought Anthony Richardson should not declare for the draft because he didn't think he was mature enough. And that's exactly what ended up happening with Richardson's career. And so Ballard waited and waited and waited. And Richardson was the wrong guy. He bought himself, I guess, a year and a half
with Daniel Jones and that was kind of it. - Yeah, that's kind of what happens when a GM takes a quarterback that early in the draft, you kind of attach yourself to that quarterback for your tenure there with that team, most as I am. Not every time, obviously some guys have survived a top, what was there just in like the fourth pick or fifth pick? Some GMs can survive that type of missed pick, but usually you just attach yourself to that quarterback's career. And if it goes poorly, you're not gonna have a job for very long. - I think I've at this point that in the AFC South, the cult's never won the division with Houston and Jacksonville and Tennessee is bad. - Yeah, I mean, the Jaguars got the number one pick in the division twice, like two years in a row. And they could, you know, remain in, they could win. So it is what it is. But yeah, yeah, we might have to do that for power out of this week or sometime, like there's a lot of teams and a lot of trade assets for the deadline this year. I mean, there's a lot of teams given up. So yeah, crazy morning. And then Mike McDaniel's still working for the charges. - I know, 5/30 Eastern on Monday. - But, you know, we were texting about this a little bit. Like I think you're right where if you fire Mike McDaniels, then who? - Yeah. - I think that's more of the issue. - I think you're right. - Adam Gays, like Adam Gays, really? - Out of the NFL for five years. He'll be the play-caller. - And that's the thing, you know, sometimes like, - They should trade for Shane Stuykin. - Honestly, they probably should. - Yeah. - Well, Stuykin might just get the charges job next year. - Yeah. - I don't know if the charges have the money to fire Jim Harbaugh to be honest, but just, just like in that job. So God, think how the charges are on by. Can't wait to know what's them for a week. - I know. - Okay, should we get to waivers? - Yeah. - Anything else on Eagles or Colts? - No, busy morning. - What's going on? - Also, Devon to Adams, out six to 10 weeks. - Yeah, ruptured hamstring. - Which sounds horrific. - I don't know why, but if it's like six to 10 week strained hamstring, I'm like, yeah. And then it's like ruptured hamstring. - Oh, no. - When they initially say six to 10 weeks that he's not playing this year. - No, I mean, six weeks puts him at like week 13, 10 weeks is week 17. - I think the real answer is the Rams need to make the playoffs and he can come back for the playoffs. - Yeah. - You know who else needs to make the playoffs, Bangkok, Craig. And this is a tough blow to a squad that was really surging and looked really good. So we're gonna have to, we're gonna have to figure out something. - You're really gonna have to do some work here, Craig. - Or to hunker down, dig into the waiver wire. - So it's a blow. - Lost. - So not forgot. - Also, by the way, not the only, not the only Rams player that is hurt right now. Kobe Turner, defensive tackle, is headed to the injured reserve with a groin injury. Fune Ford out for the season with a biceps injury. They are just, they are having a low-key season of Rampowl as well, obviously with some of the injuries they're going through. Blake Groupi, towards ACL, when he was helicopter to hitting that guy on the kickoff. So now they're gonna have to figure out a new kicker. So yeah, bad to worse, I guess, with the Rams, now they lose several key players. And yeah. - It's funny how bad that's been, because I believe our very unshield cupati tweeted this, that the Rams have outscore, have outgained their opponent more than any other team in the league this year. (laughing) - That's great. - If you look under the hood, they are still a good team, but this is what we are all always afraid of. - Yeah, here it is. - Here it is, season. - The Rams have outgained their opponents. By a league best, 644 yards this season. (laughing) - I mean, they're top 10 DVOA team. I don't know what they will be after this season, or after this week, but, you know, they're still a good team. It's just, man, it's hard to survive some of these injuries though. - And dude, so you have Devonte's out, Terrence Ferguson's on IR. And you now have Pukinukuah, who they, if he, I feel like the entire season rest on if Pukinukuah can stay healthy now. - And he still continues to scrape himself off the turf after like five touches a game. - I don't think he's healthy now. I think he came back early from that hip thing he had. And now it's like two-two outwell and Mumpfield, well, we didn't talk about it either. - Pukinukuah has a pre-hernia. Did you guys hear about this story? We haven't really talked about it, which means he could have a hernia issue at any time this year. - Which is-- - He's hanging on by a thread. - I mean, it's football, that'll happen. - Also, maybe Tyler Hicks played 11 games the previous two years, like he's not a picture of health either. - Yeah, so maybe the Rams will also be active if the trade deadline for wide receiver. Maybe they're gonna go get Brian Thomas or something, but-- - Maybe they'll trade for AJ Brown. - Well, Brian Thomas actually makes sense. I think he-- (laughing) - I've been flying if they did. - Devonte Frazier Brown, who says no. (laughing) - Well, the Patriots just be like, sure. - Fine. - I mean, the Pats would've been better without AJ Brown, you know, straight up, but. - Dude, I think he's half five. - Also Roman Jobs has said on IR now, so the Pats once again, it's like heavily now relying on AJ Brown's ankle to remain intact for the next month plus. - Tatters, man. - Football's hard, fuck, you know what I mean? Man! (laughing) It really is. - It is. - It really is just like, who's healthy? Like that's just, and fantasy it in real football. It's just like, is your team healthy? - Yeah. - Every year, there's about 10 teams actually trying to win the Super Bowl for them to make it. - Yeah. - And then those four usually just they figure out who this go win. Or you the Niners, and you just ever get so hurt that eventually everyone's just like, fuck you. Maybe that's the key. Is all your good players are so hurt all the time that your backups get a ton of reps, and they're really good. - True, I know Mike Evans is like dragging himself into each game. - John Wick, although Caleb's really the John Wick thing. I have to say, you guys in advance, a crush trivia name. I'm sorry. So with that said, I think because of the Jalen Hurts thing, I'm just like that. So with the Jalen Hurts thing, I think we actually have to start a quarterback, because I think between Josh Allen's on by Washington, Jane Daniel's on by Trevor Lawrence on by. And then now Jalen Hurts out for the season, I think people really need quarterbacks to stream. So I wanted to start there. Dika, who's your number one quarterback? You would add entering week seven. Well, what are we going to do? Seize in long replacement. Correct. I think it's a mix of both. OK. I think someone gets you through three weeks or a year. I think you balance like the, you know, I think it depends. If it's like one week versus a year, but one guy's a little worse, I'm like, yeah, I'll take a guy for a year. If Lamar is out this week and Tyler Huntly, you know, rather. I think it's true. It depends on what we're using for a-- for how much roster we're talking here. But to me, the guy who kind of sticks out at quarterback is Aaron Rogers going up against the Saints this week. The Saints are one of the worst defenses in the NFL. And Rogers has been really sharp. I mean, you could look at what he did this week and maybe people will be a little bit scared off. But we talked about his struggles with Todd Bowles in his career. Rogers is. And I think otherwise Rogers has been really sharp. He has 11 touchdowns in the last four games. Their offense is kind of working. The receiver core feels like it's crystallized with Jeremy Bernard and DK McCaff and like how they've played. So I would probably roll with Aaron Rogers. The other guy that I think was worth mentioning here is Kyler Murray, who finally kind of started running in this last game looked a little more comfortable in the Vikings offense. He had 18 points in fantasy. He had 10 rushes for 51 yards in the last game. And they're playing Indianapolis this week, which is really banged up defense. And you know, potentially kind of tanking at this point. Yeah. If we're including Kyler in this, you know, Minnesota plays the Colts, the Lions, and the Bills over the next three years. That is pretty nice. Yeah. Especially the Lions playing a lot of man coverage. I think Kyler, that could be the game against-- The Lions and Bills, I think, are giving up-- I think they're the top two teams in terms of giving up points to Corebacks. So because of that, I'd probably go with Kyler. Rogers against the Saints. Rogers is scheduled in general. The Steelers is not that hard. Like a Michael Penix is a guy I'd be interested in. Their schedule is pretty tough. The only other-- Gino Smith, you know, the Jets are kind of nearing full health again, which they haven't really had all season. And I know it's like, do I really want to have the quarterback on the Jets? But it's like Garrett Wilson, 80 Mitchell, Omar Cooper, Kenyne Siddy, and Breeze Hall are all pretty close to being all back on the field at the same time. And I kind of like all those guys. So he's another one I'm thinking about. Malik Willis, maybe-- Genose Schedulers Dolphins Raiders.
I don't mind those and it's chiefs, but the bills I think to shoot up potentials there and then it's Chargers Dolphins. So that's Dolphins Raiders Chargers Dolphins. Oh, that's four of the next six weeks with Geno Smith. So I mean, that's beggars can't be choosers. Yeah. So I think my top three may be Kyler Rodgers and Geno. Yeah. And it's CG Strouds available for whatever reason. I think that he's certainly there. Like, you know, they're playing the giants this week. Strouds is probably rostered, but he's certainly on the list if he's available, whatever reason. The only other name I want to toss out is Baker Mayfield, who is 24% rostered, is Todd Ball said he was supposed to practice this week, even if he doesn't play this week. You know, Baker was playing terribly, but the bucks have turned it around a little bit and I still believe in Baker and I would be willing just on talent alone and what he's done in the past. I would be willing to make a bet on him and add him. Yeah, I feel like Baker, I feel like he probably won't play this week, but he might play the next one and then Falcons, Bears, Lions. Yeah. Like there's a buyweek in there, but yeah, I mean, again, if you lost her for the season, you probably are going to need two quarterbacks to kind of like, you know, yeah, him and I get it. And just you're probably going to need a mix of matches. So I think so. Do we want to do Kyler for trivia or is he too too rough? I think it's Kyler. I think no, I think Kyler, I think he's pretty available. 50% yeah. And that's one of those the 50% or sometimes it's 50% but because he was on a buy, there's sometimes more actively actually end up dropping him lower. And so I actually think in certain leagues, I've seen Kyler get dropped because yeah, he's not above getting dropped. So I think Kyler is definitely the answer. Especially the schedule. Yeah, you just said it correct. Colts, Lions, Bills, the next three weeks. Pretty good survival mode. Totally. Okay. All right. Then it's time for the Kyler Murray showdown time. So we're doing four trivia this week, right? Yeah. We're doing four. Yeah. Quarterback. Yeah. I mean, I think there's probably I think Jaden Lawrence and Josh are all starting. So I don't think it had 12 team league. I think four starting quarterbacks are probably out this week, including Jalen Erts. Yeah. So this is from Lucas. Elbone. Breakfast was toast with Marmite and sheep's cheese, Black coffee. Marmite. I was actually hoping it goes with, with Vegemite. That sound Australian. It's a dark brown savoury British spread made from concentrated breweries yeast packaged in a distinctive black jar with a yellow lid. It's probably revolting. What was the other stuff? revolting. Marmite sheep's cheese, Black coffee. Wait, it's a savoury British spread. It's yeast extra abstract. I've seen extracts. I don't even know. What does that even mean? What am I? Not a fucking scientist. I don't know. What is that? Okay. Marmite. I'm going to check that out. It looks horrendous. What does Marmite taste like? Thick. It looks like horrendous. Marmite tastes intensely salty savoury and rich new mommy molasses without sugar. It's pretty wild. I would be nervous eating this, but email is just you want to defend Marmite. Anyway, so Lucas is question. I love what people end up sending. Okay. Lucas says, listening to you guys talk about Enrique Englace Eglaceus inspired me. Enrique Eglaceus's dad, Julio, was a gold keeper for Al Madrid. And he was also training to be a lawyer. But then he smashed his back in a car accident and had a quit soccer. And while he was in the hospital, he learned to play guitar. And then in 1970, he went on Eurovision and became a star. And now Julio Eglaceus is widely considered the best-selling Spanish language artist of all time. How many records has Julio Eglaceus sold according to Wikipedia? Oh, Christ. I feel like I had completely forgotten that his dad was even bigger than Enrique Eglaceus. I did not know that he was both a fantastic soccer player and a huge musician. Oh, I didn't know anything but the soccer thing. I totally, yeah, that's a legend. Okay. Sure, I guess I got a number. No idea. Well, I mean, the scale. Keep the scale, man. The biggest, the best-selling Spanish language artist of all time. All right. All right. Three, two, one. Five hundred million. I said 500. Craig said 80. I said 200 million. Okay. The number is 300 million. Wow. Okay, so this is first. So, I mean, dude, Julio Eglaceus. Just quiet being. Is he still, is he still doing it? I think he's still doing it. What's the number? Three hundred. So you got second? Okay. Okay. Yeah, he's still kicking. 83. Nice. Has a log. Handsome dude. La Mare. He does like a live version of La Mare, one of my favorite songs, like actually. I love that. Yeah. That would be a better amount. The opposite of embarrassing is like that. No, I have refined taste songs. Like I play this and I'm like, it's, because, you know, I think he's, yeah, I think he sings it in French. I could be totally making that up. Maybe misremembering. But yeah, anyway. Okay. So I'll take Kyler. This is a big one, though. So, dear, who's closer to 20? DK. No, I think I got Craig by a hair. It was 300. I said 500. Oh, yeah, yeah, yes, DK's second. I'll go air in Rodgers. Craig. And we're assuming Strauss out of this or whatever. So if I'm available, I think Baker, we should also assume Baker's not going to play this week. So I guess you're, Craig, you're what between Gino and Michael Pentax Jr. Is there any world in which I should consider Sam Darnel? I mean, totally. I will say, here's the thing. Darnel looked really bad last week, but I'll say this. I'm always tempted to throw out Thursday games. Like, that's a Thursday game against Denver at Denver. Yeah, I'm like, and it's like 10 days, they played the Niners. Think about the Packers and the Falcons. Think about Bad Green Bay. Looked against Atlanta on a Thursday night football. And then 10 days later, how much like the Packers have looked, you know what I mean? Like Thursday is always people want to make these big conclusions that Thursday in football. And it's just like, it's just not a normal product. Yeah, the next four weeks for Seattle, they play the chiefs, which is hard. And then they play the Bears, the Cardinals, the Raiders, they're on by, then they play, I think that's totally reasonable. I'm just like going off track record. And I'm like, Gino Smith versus Sam Darnel's funny that I'm picking these between these two guys. But I'm like, is there really, I should probably just pick Sam Darnel on a good team with good coaching rather than Gino Smith. So maybe I'll do Sam Darnel. It's somewhat comforting that you want that to me. The third quarterback taking in our waivers after so Sam Darnel. The fact that you're even considering him Craig makes me feel a little bit better. I'm a little low on everything, right? The phrase we always like, right? Nothing is ever as good or as bad as it seems like everyone is at their absolute lowest about Donaldson. Maybe I'll buy. I think that's it. Yeah. Okay. And then yeah, I think Gino's viable. I think Michael Panics Jr. And they're playing the Niners. We'll see how they do tonight. But I mean, Panics is slinging it. Yeah. I think these all makes, there are options. Running back is nasty. Running backs really bad. I got off. And so the running, yeah, I mean, TK who is, I mean, I think for starters, Jordan Mason and for the Vikings and Jonah Coleman for the Broncos, both might come off injured reserve. I think Mason's going to be back. Do we want it? So do we count in these guys? Because I feel like you're in a league with injured reserves a lot. I think Jordan Mason's on rosters. I feel like he's not been cut. He's on two thirds of teams. Yeah, I don't I don't see him on that. So if he's available in any of my leagues, yeah, that's probably like automatically the insert. And then Jonah Coleman's like the less sexy version of that. Cause Jonah Coleman is has a way weirder winding or path to playing time now that he's hurt. And also the Broncos offense is abominable. Do you really want to shackle yourself to that whims of Sean Payton? So yeah, what that said, Dika, who would you do if you have to plug and play a running back for this one? Oh God. Yeah. There's some bad options. The two top options, I would say are Kendrick Miller for the Saints who had 20 carries in the last game, 20 carries that alone probably should put him at the top. They play the Steelers this week. He led the team in snaps. I would say Alvin Commander probably still looks like the better back, but they're trying to limit his touches and kind of keep him fresh or whatever. The other guy is Roshan Johnson for the Bears, who is sort of the Kalmanong guy replacement for at least another week or two. He had 13 carries 31 yards and a touchdown, two catches for 34 yards as a receiver. They play the Patriots this week. I kind of just feel like I might lean Roshan just a little bit because I just trust that offense, maybe a little bit more right now. I think the Saints, they certainly run a lot of plays, but their offense has been kind of all over the place. One of their one of the owners of those teams has put in a statement talking about how nothing's good enough and we're going to get to the bottom of it no matter what. It's not the Chicago Bears. It's also notable that I'm like eight times bitten by Kendra Miller. I'm just like I kind of just don't want to do the Kendra Miller thing again. But to your point, it bothers me a little. The Bears run Thursday in football because I think if you have an injury and you're like, is my guy going to play that bothers me? But I will say Kendra Miller is Steelers this week, but then the Saints are on by. And so that to me kind of negates that Roshan Johnson might have one more week in the Kalmanong guy comes back as Roshan's useless when Kalmanong guys back. So I feel like Kendra and Roshan realistically are probably both going to give you one game over the next two weeks, which actually kind of makes it a little easier almost to pick. Yeah. The other like real low key if you want to get saucy and maybe just take a risk. Corey Keiner for the Patriots who looked good. He came in and basically played the entire fourth quarter for the Patriots. I got to sense variables like fucking sick of Ramondra and Trayvon Henderson.
and just wanted to see what Kiner could give them. He's downhill, physical guy. He had 11 carries for 57 yards and basically Varebal set up the end of the game that they just thought he had the high hand wanted to give him more carries. And Henderson fumbled in the game. Henderson's coming off an injury. We know Ramondra is history with fumbling and kind of just being all over the place. So he might be a guy just to kind of add and if things shake out the way that things could shake out, Kiner might end up sort of being one of the lead guys in the in the offense. But if you just need someone to fill in one week, I'll probably go Roshan. I agree with that. Nikhil. Nikhil, get in here and tell me what I'm doing wrong or right here. Nikhil is our Bears expert. But anyway, I probably lean Roshan just a slight amount because Kendrick Miller, every time I've ever trusted him, he has not done anything. I don't think we're done guys playing with the turf toe on Thursday night. I would much prefer a Ben Johnson running back. Then Kendrick Miller on the Saints against the Steelers in Paris. I totally totally agree. And then I totally agree. And also because again, the Bears having had an equal amount of 250 rushy yard games as the rest of the NFL combined. And he also actually catches passes like more than you think for someone who was even like a. Nikhil says Roshan has very little juice, but Ben Johnson does not trust Swift in the second half, which checks out. Yeah, I think Roshan's the answer. So I think it's time. Man, Slim Pickens out running back this week. It really is. We can we can last through this. It is the Roshan Johnson showdown time. It's from Bobby. Bobby Robert Beebone. Beebone's breakfast was a 20 ounce orange monster zero and two ounces of whole milk and half a banana my 15th month old daughter didn't finish. Can I love that dude? Parents know like you just you just clean up the scraps that your children leave behind. I've had so many big newtons in the last like several years. I love so many parents email and I'm like I couldn't be more jealous of resentful of those people who have like their kale spinach omelets and they're like whatever reductions like I'm just sweeping up the eggs. My three year old didn't drop on the ground. Do you want to know interview with Jalen Brown where he says that his his most like frivolous purchase was a gold harp and a few times a week. He has somebody come and play the gold harp as the sun is setting while his chef is preparing him dinner. You're kidding me. See, I actually think that's awesome because I always wonder what the fuck do you do is 70 million dollars a year? You know what? Great use. That's great. Get creative. There used to be Washington lottery commercials here where like it was like basically anything you can dream up like you can have you can get if you win the lottery and it was like exactly that kind of scenario. People fucking hiring someone to play a hard. I know you dinner. I know you have a problem. I'm like oh cool you bought a gold harp I guess but then when he was like I have someone come play that's sundown as my chef prepares me dinner. I was like that's like he's like may he's like swishing his wine air air air rating his wine. You guys watch maniacally. I mean it's about it's like the opposite of the spectrum of like when Charlie Sheen was talking about how he bought so much cocaine that the cartel flagged him because they thought he was an unauthorized dealer. There's no way anyone could go through that much coke. Yeah they're like no wait it's Charlie Sheen in the Mexican car. This is a commercial operation. He's a whale. You guys don't much archer do you? I must have first couple seasons. It's basically like what if Lucille Bluth ran the CIA. It's pretty incredible. And archers just ice son James Bond alcoholic baby and he's just like with one point where he's like yeah I went to my cobbler. He's like do you guys not have a cobbler? Okay anyway yeah oh right Bobby trivia Bobby as a Milwaukee Brewers fan I wanted to apologize to Craig. For how bad he must feel that we beat both of his MLB teams the Padres and the at times on our way to the World Series. Bullshit fashion I might say the Green Reaper meme yeah. The ball that hit the ceiling is fucking bullshit but yeah I'm gonna somehow take out the warriors and SDSU sometimes. Yeah well the mumps is handling SDSU. Don't you got the wind this week against Fresno but all right. I'll tell you I will say maybe the apex mountain of competent refereeing was the video that came out before that that home run that hit the ceiling and it turned out that their umps went over that scenario with the both managers. I don't know the problem with the call like the rules of the role. I've just more like if they were outside that's a home run and that's fucking yeah it's annoying. I just can't believe the manager was like look I've been here six years that's never happened but watch it happen tonight and then it happened is kind of like anyway. I'll hit the roof and land at the warning track. It was like it's like. Is that a crown rule double then? No it's an out. I feel their cut out. It was not anything. It would have been a two run homer. They wouldn't fucking won the game. Shit. Cut it off the roof. I didn't watch that. That's wild. If you're outside it's just over. Padres might win the game. This series is tied and there might have been Padres Dodgers. It's crazy. That's insane. Do you care more about the podgers and the Dodgers? I admit it. More day-to-day it's Dodgers because it's like my in-laws. I'm in LA but I feel a soft spot for San Diego because I feel like they're always pissed on by everyone. I can tell if you lived in San Diego you'd be a stronger Padres fan. Oh for sure. Of course. You are now a Dodgers fan. They lost everything. They don't have much. It's like God give the podgers a shot. So Bobby writes as a brewers fan. Sorry to Craig. Yeah. I was pulling and also DK I was pulling from the manners last year just because of Danny Kelly and I was a huge Ken Griffith Jr. Big Unit fan as a kid. So for trivia. The Dodgers are the second highest salary team in Major League Baseball. What is the salary difference between the brewers and the Dodgers for the season? The difference between the Dodgers spending and the brewers spending this season. Dude Cleveland and Tampa Bay are like both bottoms five or seven in space this year. I will tell you so Bobby then literally wrote trying to put a bunch of space here before the answer so hyphids can make his guess without cheating. Don't think that stops him but at least it helps. I will tell you I fucking nailed this question. Okay, so this is the difference in payroll for this year. Yes. Okay. Oh God, I don't know is payroll stuff from baseball. I have a number in mind. Yeah, sure. Okay. All right, three, two, one, 180 million. I said 80. Craig said 120. I said 180. Uh oh. And I was really close. The answer is 193. Damn. Baseball is wild. Baseball is crazy. Especially when it goes away because of all these things. Holy shit. I mean also and then the yellow is the same thing. There's the Yankees gone. It got trounced by the rays who spend I think less than half of the Yankees budget. And the Yankees just can't ever beat them. 180 million dollars. Wow. Or 193 instead. You know, it's funny because football has their sneaky versions of this where like if you look at how much the Eagles between 2020 and 2025, I think spent a collective 150 million more dollars in cash on the roster than the Dallas Cowboys. But it was all like deferred to the future deferred money. But basically there's a salary floor and a ceiling and everyone's hitting the ceiling and the Eagles are spending the money up front, which basically there are ways to spend more cash and still have the salary. Sorry, the cap, but there's a floor. So like you can hit the floor and not at the cap and it's over windows of time. But yeah, the Eagles spent hundreds of millions of dollars more than Dallas. And then they made two super balls. What did you rule about the floor? You have to spend like 90% of the salary cap or something. Yeah, it's over. It's like a rolling over a certain number of years. Yeah, it's a rolling window of time. It never really gets talked about, but that's the floor is kind of it's essential and it's become a huge, it's going to be a huge thing with baseball too because obviously baseball. The owners want a salary cap and there's this giant disparities between like the Colorado Rockies, the Dodgers, the Dodgers, the Dodgers, Mark Walters, you know, quite the situation is a lot going on. But yeah, we'll see there's baseball next year. All right, well congrats. You get who? Rocheon. Rocheon. All right. Craig was second. God, I guess I'll take Kendrick Miller. And then third, just I want to mention a couple other randoms. Gillian McLaughlin for the Browns. Kind of took over for Quinch on Juckins. I don't know how long Juckins is going to be out. I think I've gotten a lot of detail. He practiced Friday and I think he was close to me. Okay. So that kind of eliminates that. I mentioned Cory Kiner for the Patriots. Would you go with Mike Washington Jr. for the Raiders? If he's out there for sure, he's I think worth having on your roster. I don't know if he's going to be like a plus, you know, EV guy to start in your lineup right away. There's kind of the thought that they're going to start to do more of a 50/50 split between Gentie and Washington, Gentie just hasn't been very effective as he's had this ankle injury. There's a thought. Also, maybe Washington is just a better fit for their offense. The way that he runs, the style of running that he brings. So I think he's definitely worth rostering. I would add him to list. Tyrone Tracy for the Giants. I wanted you to carry the Gentie this week. I especially, he's playing the Rams, Craig just mentioned, they're down 3D lineman. I think Mike Washington has like a season long appeal. Agreed. Agreed. What's his roster ship right now? 30% on Yahoo. I'll do Washington. I think the other guys to mention though, Tyrone Tracy in case Gattavu is truly and like fully gone is worth adding and then bam night for the Cardinals. Depending on how long Jeremiah love is out, he basically came in and was the most productive back for the Cardinals. Yeah, I guess I haven't wanted to acknowledge that maybe Naji is a worthy ad, but Naji is probably a worthy ad. I just I don't know it is. Naji demonstrate Tyrone Tracy. Is he playing stupid games? You win stupid prizes. But yeah, Mike Washington. I'll I'll go with that. All right. Receivers, I think is a lot more fun.
who's your number one receiver DK do we want to count Jeremy Bernard here with Steelers he's 44% on ESPN 50% on Yahoo I think whether we include him or not you should he should be the top. I think we can count him and if he's and if he's roster will go through other receivers but I mean I think we can count him like we have there's a bunch of people this week I mean yeah a lot of my clear. I think just like the trajectory Jeremy Bernard the way that the like the you know rotation at receiver for the Steelers has opened up basically back Michael Pittman's on IR or maybe he's not on IR but he's out for an extended period of time and then Roman Wilson's out it just feels like it's going to be DK and Jeremy Bernard. Do you want to count him Craig or you want to just like elevate him. I feel like Jeremy was the hot pick up last week so I kind of feel like we should all right so we'll put him above. If the Jerome patient zero is available that take Jeremy Bernard but if not we can go through other people. So then if he's gone then DK who would it be. Oh man I'll probably go Omar Cooper for the Jets played 80% of the snaps 81% snaps for team drop backs. We's in there and good chunk of the past plays seems to have a good connection with Gino. The Jets are platoon at tight end. I feel like there was all these questions whether Jeremy with Omar Cooper or and Kenyan Siddi who are going to like cancel each other out but it doesn't feel like that's going to be the case for the Jets this year. So and as Chris mentioned Gino's still playing pretty well. The Jets are getting healthy. This offense could kind of make a push as a year goes along. I just want to I want Omar Cooper on my team to see if it's this continues or that they continue to use him like this. Yeah there's kind of two different types of options for at wide receiver this week where it's like Omar Cooper is the like rookie who had one good week. Is it real? Maybe you overspend and then it was a flash in the pan because Christian Gonzalez was on Garrett Wilson this week and that's why Omar Cooper went because then you could take a guy like Demario Douglas trade Tucker these guys who kind of know what they are they have a spike week once a month. The volume is iffy but you kind of know where they are especially Demario Douglas on New England Romeo dobs on IR so you're like Douglas is kind of like solid and you can and there is kind of both him and try Tucker are similar and that like once a month they have like a hundred yards in a touchdown. And so there's kind of that and Omar Cooper is like he could probably just disappear and be irrelevant again for the rest of the season or he becomes like a rookie phenomenon. So it's kind of just like what you need and if you want to go for ceiling versus predictability. Agreed. Yeah I'll take Omar Cooper this week. I don't disagree with anything you just said. I just like Omar Cooper. I just like the way he plays football. Connolly Jermy Bernard not stylistically but I like the way Jermy plays football. I like the way Omar Cooper plays football. I like to be in Indiana. I like Kurt Zignetti. I forget one of the college football playoff games. They were like what's your plan and who's like get the ball the number three. I just like he had that amazing probably the catch of the year in college football extra against Penn State. Just plays like a grown-ass man plays larger than I just I like him and I was really happy seven target six catches a hundred three yards in a touchdown. I was kind of surprised about him as a first run pick but like I really like when he has the ball in his hands and that's I don't know. I you want that in a waiver candidate but there's a lot of good receivers this week. So it's funny because I feel like during the draft wind up or whatever we talked about Omar Cooper and Jermy Bernard is kind of in the same category of player. I think I want to say back and I even said that Jermy Bernard is like the poor man's version of Omar Cooper that you can get like two rounds later or whatever. Because they don't have outstanding measurables right in necessarily any category. But they're not they're not what I'm quote number one. Yeah, they're not quote-unquote number ones. They don't wow you with their stats. Yeah, but they're just good. Yeah, they just have it is a cool way to catch us. Yeah. Omar Cooper. Wow. Do we have that? Probably not. Omar Cooper. Okay, so Omar Cooper show down time. Yeah, let's do it. It's time for the Omar Cooper Jr. Showdown time. All right, I need to win big money, big money, no amies. Oh, this one's from Rob in Australia. Rob our bone. Rob breakfast, long back coffee, ribeye steak, two eggs. Damn. Hell yeah. Rob writes, I run a butcher shop in Sydney, Australia. Fuck yeah. Hell yeah. In light of this week's trivia discussion about crocodiles on the Fitzroy River because again, the Olympics is going to have kayaking canoeing the river in Australia, that everyone hates and it totally infested with crocodiles. It infested. Rob writes, it's actually crazy. They have it. One, Google where it is. It's really far from everything. No one wants it there. He's like legit middle of nowhere. River's always dirty orange brown color because of the soil sediment and also attached to photo. I found a Google maps and it was just a giant billware of crocodile papers plastered on fences and it was just like giant crocodile in area. Didn't we already guess how many crocodiles were there last week? Yes. So Rob was inspired by that. Okay. So Rob writes, I run a butcher shop and we sell a variety of Australian game meat. One of which happens to be crocodile tail filet. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Crocodiles formed in Australia for both the clothing industry and it's meat. So my question to you in USD, what is the price per kilo, price per kilo that we sell crocodile tail filet for context? I would say we are on par or cheaper than a market rate. We're not a fancy high-end shop. I'll let you guys decide if you want to pounds or kilos. I'll tell you what a kilo I think is 2.2 pounds. But if you want to pounds, you can do that too. I wrote it in both because I figured this might be a sticking point. Okay. So there's 2.2 pounds. US dollars. We can do per pound if you want. I don't care. What do we want to do? Pounds or kilos, doesn't matter? Pounds is easier. Kilos is funnier. Let's do kilos. Kilos, uh, yeah. I think a kilo. So this is a price per kilo? Well, I don't know if I'm right. What I guessed off is a kilo is 2.2 pounds. But in reality, I actually didn't Google that before I guessed. So I'm just assuming that a kilo is 2.2 pounds. Okay. So you don't know, can we do that right now? Well, I didn't Google it. So you guys took it to Google it. I decided if I'm right or not. Okay. But I'm realizing I didn't check if that was true. Oh my god. I have like no idea. I can't tell this is like it's more of a delicacy and it's expensive or like nobody eats it and it's not that expensive. That's what I was trying to wonder is like I was thinking about versus like a ribeye and like what cost more a pound of ribeye or a pound of crocodile tail. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm just going to guess. Okay. Three, two, one, 59, 59 per kilo. What'd you say? I said 20. I went low 20. I said, oh, you got I said $45 per kilo. Okay. And the answer is $35 per kilo. $34.88 per kilo to be exact. So it's like, what is that? So it's like 15 bucks a pound. Yeah. So not that it's expensive. Sounds about right. Yeah. Would you guys, I don't know if I'd want to eat crocodile tail and of all the parts. I don't think that doesn't it tastes like chicken. I've heard it tastes like chicken. Is it tender? I think a lot of places serve fried gator or whatever, but it's chicken. Yeah. I think they just are giving you chicken. Okay. Have it. Did you win or did I win? I think I won. Okay. Damn. Have it swept. I'm kind of crushing. What did you say? You said 45. Okay. Crocodile tail is generally considered tender lean and firm when cooked properly. That those are tender lean and firm as a kind of tender and firm. Isn't that the opposite? It's scared, but also safe. Make you feel dangerous, but also safe. It's kind of tender, but also firm. What? Oh, you're taking Omar. No, sorry. You're right. You're right. The other one stops the other options here. I am interested in Craig mentioned to Mario Douglas. I think especially with Romeo Dobbs going on an IR. He's still going to be a big part of their offense. He's still not like playing as much as you want. 58% snaps. That's not ideal. I probably again to like delineate a little bit. If you want a floor option, Keenan Allen, if he's out there, he's 47% Yahoo, 39% ESPN. He has a 23% target rate on the year. He's had 11, 9 and 9 targets of the last three games. He's just a target machine. So I probably go with Keenan Allen if you're looking for a floor option. If you're looking for a ceiling option, Douglas or Keenan Coleman for the bills, but I'm going to go with Keenan, I think. He's disgusting. Keenan, bills are on buy, and then DJ Morris on the back. I'm going to go with Trey Tucker. I think that's that makes sense. Big play. He's just playing all the time. Five catches, 100 yards to touchdowns. Yeah. Jaylen Noel for the Texans, 170 yards. I know Marvin Harrison's still there, but I don't know. Jaylen, old best games career. Jaylen Noel keeps making play after play. He's always making big plays. Every time he touches the football, it's a big play. And then I look at his snaps. I'm like, oh, that he played 49% snaps. I'm hesitant to recommend him because tank tells coming back, and Marvin Harrison's there, but I'm like, Jaylen Noel's their second best receiver until further notice. Like I will see. I will just other people want to throw out in case these people are rostered. Is Casey Concepcion for the Browns, who was concussive played last week. I don't know how that's possible, but he's really good. Chris Bell and Malik Washington coming off buy for my me, which is disgusting, but again, if all these people were talking about a roster that I would keep going about Caleb Douglas. Caleb Douglas for sure. I think 100 yards week one. Jacobi Lane and got her there you go. So I mean, one of those dolphins guys, if you want to get frisky, Jacobi Lane, if you're desperate, want to get frisky,
But there are a lot of good options, actually, a lot of high upside, at least you can tell yourself that they might do well, but they really just point you. Like if you for instance lost to Vonte Adams, hypothetically, and you have to replace him. No could not a month, month, month field, though, probably not. Tide ends. I will say, is it Tyler Higby, the number one Tide end now, that to Vonte, I'm saying, I feel like when Puka Nuku is out, that's when Tyler Higby ends up getting like 15 targets. I don't think it necessarily translates with Devonte out. I don't really know what the Rams have one for one with Devonte, just beating everyone in man coverage. But regardless, I do, I feel like Tyler Higby jumped to the top of my list when I saw that for Devonte. Is that a field decay? Probably. It's between him and Michael Mayer for the Raiders who he did have one down game last week and didn't play as many snaps, but went back right, back up to being the team's tight end one. Bowers is the wide receiver one for the Raiders and Mayer is the tight end one. I think he's had, he's playing a ton, 88% Rouse for team dropback over the last, I think four weeks. He's just, he's playing a ton and he's in a big target underneath, top off target. So in PBR, especially, he's really valuable, but I do think with Devonte out, Higby is just going to have a higher ceiling weekend and we go. So I'll say Higby. I, yeah, if I would say Higby as well, if these are the names, I mean, if there's, there's not a ton going on, you could like, Terrence Ferguson's IR is ending soon, like maybe when he comes back, it'll be a thing for the Rams, but yeah, for now, it's Higby, I suppose. And the flip side is there's not a ton of tight ends on by right now, like because realistically, I don't think people are rostering Chig or Orande Ghadsden, I get the only tight end really and buy this week in Breton's Strange and Dalton King Cade. So I don't think there's a tremendous rush to get like streaming tight ends as much as I think. All right. Do you want to do Higby Showdown? Yeah, I think so. Tyler Higby. Showdown time. All right, lock and doys. We can't let hyphids go for a straight, golden sombrero, that's, that's too much. This one I didn't do so well on. So this one's from Kyle. Kyle. K bone. Breakfast is a jalapeno bagel sandwich, egg, Canadian bay, Canadian bacon and pepper jack. Wow. That sounds good. That sounds good. Yeah. In the spirit of America's favorite segment, fart, we're short. Kyle writes, the largest human turd ever recorded was a fossilized turd called a coprolite found in UK, England in 1972. This 1200 year old poo came from Viking invaders and is the largest ever recorded allegedly. What is the length of the log in centimeters? What the fuck? In centimeters. I know. I'm bothered. Why in centimeters? I don't know. I don't know. Why? But that bothered me a lot as well. That sucks. Also, I'm surprised when I, you know, when I think of a Viking shit, I feel like it's just a huge pile. I don't think of a problem. I think that's why the science is correct when I think of Viking shit. As I'm forced to consider this, you know, I'm like, wow, there was some decent fiber in this meal of this is a nicely constructed log. Yeah. Is it a balanced diet? It's Viking. I've had some barley stores. Yeah. Centimeters. I didn't like that either. Was it like just one long log or was it like rolled up, it like soft serve style or what are we talking here? I actually stretch it out. I do have a photo of it, but then you'll be able to guess. So once you, I will send you the photo once you guys guess, was it like a moving turn? Like he was like, I don't know. Do you guys want to see the shit I see? How long was it? Uh, God, 1200 years old. Was this guy just a good eater? He just, he just saved up two weeks worth of mutton or whatever he was eating. What is mutton? Is mutton meat? Yeah. I think it's lamb. I don't know. It's like a big fucking turkey leg or something. Whatever they give you at Disneyland, that's what it's just like a, he's saved up two weeks or worth of mutton and meat, you're not drinking water back then. It's too dangerous. All right. Are you ready? Yeah. Three, two, one. Six, five. Sixty-five. Sixty-five. What'd you say to your kid? I don't know. Twenty-four. It's way too much. I said seven meters. That's what our guy Kyle took that shit this morning with his, with his bagel. I said this 76. So. Shit. I have a quibble. The answer. This article knows. I don't even know how many he's fucking, I can't, I can't guess centimeters. I don't fucking know centimeters. What do you think it is in inches? What do you think you just guessed? Like 12 inches or something. I don't know. So 20 centimeters is eight inches. Oh, so I was, yeah, obviously low. What you're getting? The answer is that this Viking poop is 20 centimeters. That is the right answer. Oh shit. Do you guys write? Do you guys write? Not that big. On the note. The eating poop is the longest. What are we talking about? I'm going to get the Guinness Book of World Records on the horn right now. I've got friends I could hit up right now who beat those records. They're kidding. There's no way. I also was very furious about this answer. There's no way that that's the largest one ever. Can you send me the picture of this? I need to see this. People are taking eight inch shits every day. Right. Someone listening to this podcast is taking one now. I think I see. As a knowledge. I haven't taken eight inch shit. Yeah. So it's ridiculous. It's probably the maybe the largest Viking shit of that era at best. Why are they preserving an eight inch poop? I don't know. Here. I'm sexy. Send me this photo. I need to catch a glimpse of this warlock. Look at this shit. I feel, I feel copped. That's not, that doesn't look that big. Hmm. Yeah. No, this shit. So it's. I didn't think I, I didn't think I could be disappointed by the size of a shit, but I am. No, it's, it's a really disappointing Viking shit. No, it's, it's really disappointing. Um, this is all. Okay. Why is there seven pictures? You just send over like four times because I couldn't tell which one was loading in your chat or not. I don't know. Some of them send like image file for that. It looks like a piece of like, it looks like a dick. Are we sure it's not a dick? I don't like that. It starts standing and finishes thick. What's it? Which way did it come out? It's really shit with a flared bass. Oh, the scientists just like, this is a piece of shit when it's really someone's dick. It looks like a club. There's, that is not the biggest shit in the world. Oh, I'm getting a phone call. So they're, they're taking our show off the air. Okay. All right. So I, I won. Yeah. I got crushed. Well, at least if it's in win. So how big do you think the real answer is to this question, the biggest shit ever? Uh, I feel like it's like two feet. Yeah. Cause I was looking this up, turns out, turns out your colon's about five feet long. And I'm like, someone was backed up. Yeah. For sure. Right. Email us if you're a doctor and you actually know like what, if you have any insight into this question, or an archaeologist and look into poop. If, if, do we, do we dare suggest that if anybody over the next few months, take the shit. No. No. You don't fucking read the emails. I don't. But only if it's more than eight inches. And they have to, they have to put like a, the tape over it, kind of, it's got to be lodged in the bottom and sticking out like a fucking log or something. I don't want, otherwise, I don't want to hear about it. I think if you know that it's longer than eight inches, we can, again, this record here on the show. So Guinness doesn't have a record for this, which I feel like is their choice. That's, that's just, that's kind of stupid. Yeah. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Maybe we'll get us, maybe it's because they were like, people will get drunk and be like, I'm going to jump really far. I don't know. It says that they used to share, they used to be like, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Maybe it's because they were like, people will get drunk. I'm going to jump really far. I don't know. They used to share, they used to be the same company, but they're no longer owned and operated by the same company. They used to. That makes sense. They went in separate ways. Yeah. They broke up. Because they kept wanting to do the biggest shit in the world. Here it is. 1951. Sir Hugh Beaver. The managing director of Guinness Brewery got into a pub argument over the fastest gamebird in Europe and could not find an answer in any reference book. Wow. So he made one. So he made one. That's kind of awesome because that really is just like. It is exactly what we think it was just two drunk guys arguing. I'm going to make a book then. So we know it's a guy two drunk guys, including one named Hugh Beaver. You're not going to find Hugh. You're never going to find the fastest gamebird Hugh Beaver. He's like, oh, oh, I will. I will. I will. Oh, my God. Are you won't you? You never argue with Hugh Beaver at a bar. That's everyone knows that. We should do Guinness Book of World Records trivia next week. Yeah, emails Guinness Book of World Records trivia. That's pretty good. Or Michelin. No, yeah. Guinness. Anything related to Guinness. We did a lot of Guinness last year. Are we giving the green light to sending a piece of the picture of your shit? No, you know what? I say yes. If we have a chance. If we have a chance. Look, it comes with the territory. Right? This is your job. If we have a chance to set a world record, we have to do it. Can we just have a polite request?

(laughs) - Okay. Defenses, if you need a defense next week, I mean, it depends a little. I will say the ones that stand out to me are the Cleveland Browns playing the Tennessee Titans. - Yeah. - I feel like people don't really wanna have the Browns defense, but they're playing quite well. - That one's honestly probably top tier. The Jets defense, well, it's not that shitty teams. The Jets defense, they're playing the Dolphins, which the Dolphins, they're not turning it over a ton, but I mean, I just, I'm not impressed with the Dolphins, but that way, yeah, I think the Browns is the team where I'm like, they're available. And I just kind of feel like that one's really good. - Next week is another Apple picking weekend. Emails trivia. Well, we'll get us related trivia. Some Guinness World Record trivia. Thank you, Lord. - Lord. - Lord. All right, I'm up guilty pleasure songs you're embarrassed to play in your car with the windows down. I earnestly like the song. I just had sex by the lonely island. (laughing) - Yeah. - It's great. - I earnestly like it. - Like not as like, I feel like it's a good song. - Not as like the video's funny. I'm like, I would be in my car and just listen to it. (laughing) - It's awesome. You know that? You see that movie? - No, I don't think so. - No. - All right, the chorus is she wanted to fuck me harder than the US government, fuck bin Laden.
