[Music] [Music] Hey, everyone. Welcome back to the podcast. I am Jasmine Guy, and I am flying the Minnesota links to the Caribbean Island of their choosing you girls. Just let me know when you're ready. And this is the read. Thank you for joining us. It is the read. And have fun out there links. I'm assuming that you did something really good. I know that you did something really good. They did. You write about that. You are correct. Yes. It's just I tried not to report on it as much as I used to. Just not being credited the way that I deserved. Right. No, they played in your face. Absolutely. Absolutely. Well, everyone. Summer is officially over. And here we are. Just trying to make it through war, destruction, and figuring out whatever the fuck we can actually eat. Because the list keeps shrinking. Are we great yet? Reakish. It is. I'm telling you, these people anyway, but yeah. Can we eat rice? You're going to have to pry rice out of my cold dead hands. And they're like exactly sister. You will indeed die. That's the player. You actually pry out of your cold dead body. No, I'm sorry stuff like rice beans, lentils, you know, like if that's the if we can eat that baby. All right. Yeah. No. If rice kids, if rice hits the list, I'm burning. I'm out. Yeah. I think half the planet is immediately out. Yeah. That's going to be the rough one. I tried, but I know. In fact, the last of us, which you don't know much about, the last of us became a HBO show like a zombie thing based on a video game that I love. And I feel like the TV show, the TV show created like an origin for the sickness, the disease, the virus, where it was like something got into into like a grain facility, like bread or rice, something like that started there. And that's how it crossed the planet. And I was like, yeah, yeah, bread, rice, right. That every fucking body eats, right? Greens. That's Cheerios. Every toddler is dead now. We can't do this differently. No, it's goldfish. Right, baby. Nutri-Green bars, audition, all of it as someone who has had to go cooking free. Oh, that's right. You did. Oh, it's in pretty much everything. Yeah, it's the things you wouldn't expect to be. You write about it. All right. Not soup. Soup. Oh, no. You know, that's that's very sad and not that's not okay. Now your baby got sick from the goddamn lettuce. And now they can't have a chicken noodle soup. Now they're dead. Right. They can't have fruit. They've done everything. Every baby is obsessed with blueberries, raspberries, and et cetera. And you just cannot have none of that. So, yeah, it's now the time where you can go, yes, you actually can just have a jolly rancher for breakfast. Because what does it mean? At least the jolly rancher will keep you alive another day. jolly rancher and Doritos. That'll be all of us. Yeah, jeez. Trying to get whatever nutrients we can out of it. Well, let's stay focused on the cinnamon girls by saying something positive about life. Yeah. And in our segment, black excellence. Black excellence this week is going to go over to someone named Dr. Joel Burvelle. The girl is online main novice, Canadian American physician as medical myth buster. But he's now got an animated children's medical series called The Doctor is in. There's available on prime video. Reading this on because of them, we can dot com. Shout out to the dolls. It says the show follows Burvelle as a pediatrician alongside Leland. Love that name. A curious five-year-old patient who asks questions about the body, health, and medicine. It also has animated medical tools as you need in children's programming. You have to have the objects to have a face and speak. Otherwise, what are we doing? Right. And so here we've got auto. The doctor's bag. Sammy the stethoscope. That one was always taking me for a favorite word. Because why did they do that? Right. Stethoscope. And Zeta the X-ray machine. The actual animation, like the drawing of this character is delightful. It's like a really, really good cartoon quality. Says here also that this is an idea born of Dr. Joel's own experience of not seeing many doctors who look like him in children's media, which is usually where these things begin with us. We're like, all right, I guess I'll do it. Because we definitely exist. I don't know why we're not on the TV, but we're here. In medicine, needing medicine, wouldn't you know? So the debut last year, and yeah, you can check it out now on Amazon. The prime video, again, it is called the doctor is in. Go check them out. Say hi, send some some words of positive positive after me. I mean, this was cat crowd funded. And raised nearly 62,000. So maybe on late. You know, I'm probably here. We're here. Okay, let's get into the pop culture, fuckery, and a segment that we call hot tops. We're gonna be in. Lady who shot of Rihanna and a sub rocky house is set to stand trial. There's a hearing today. And today September 30th. Yeah, today. Okay. And there isn't any specific word so far on the details of the trial, or like the actual date of the trial was had hearing today. And I guess they're still putting together a lot of the specifics. But you know, it's not looking good for her. And she's likely going to be spending time in prison. I mean, obviously. I mean, almost certainly. Yes, but I'm wondering if, oh, says right here, deemed mentally fit to stand trial. Well, I was wondering if they were going to track it up, but nope, looks like. Oh, okay. It took four months. So yeah, girl, lady. Woo. Yep. I see. I see prison in your future sister. I do. I do. I can't imagine how scary that had to have been for Rihanna and Rocky, though. Knowing your babies are right there. And some lunatic is shooting at your property. Oh, no, no, no. Tell me out of yummy. Author of Children Blood and Bone, who's notoriously said at this point that she will not be going to watch the film adaptation of her book. He's spoken out again, I think, with the guardian. And it's basically doubled down on what she was saying before that it was the worst experience that she ever had. She said she's still being antagonized behind a theme. antagonized. She's dealt with severe, somatic pain and so many panic attacks. And that she's not going to go into the specifics. Well, girl, were you abuse? Should we be boycotting this movie? Like, that's what I want to, like, because I'm going, unless, like, I need to, because. Okay. So I just don't know there's paperwork. Yes. And I did hear about she didn't realize that she wasn't going to have final say over the screenplay. That she got, she get, I think, according to her contract, she got like creative control over the first adaptation. But then, you know, obviously the studio, et cetera, they are legally entitled to do rewrites and things like that. So that's what I saw something like she was upset over that, which I can understand, but also your lawyer or agent or somebody should have fully gone over your contract with you before you sign.
And it's so that you knew 100% that that was an option. But a sister, I mean, you talking about shaking current, throwing up and having panic attacks and all this, like hyperventilating, sobbing, still being antagonized. Like, I really wish you would give us just a crumb of details so that those of us who want to support like this incredible looking movie, but also don't want to shit on a black woman can make an educated decision. What are we supposed to do? - It's so frustrating. - Yeah. It really is, because I don't want to just leap into the arms of this. - Right. - What looks to be an amazing production, if it is shading on a black woman, especially if something really immoral happens to her. - Yes. - But if it's something like her not getting final say over the screenplay and then ultimately being unsatisfied with the final version of her baby essentially. - Right. - I get that, it's not gonna stop me from going to watch it. - Right, that alone is not enough for me. That's really something to take up with your people, your team, as far as that part is concerned. So yeah, I feel the same way. - To be honest with you, it would have been incredibly unlikely for something like for her to have had final say. Like that doesn't happen. - Right, right, right. Exactly. - That doesn't happen. Where you sell the rights to a studio or a network or anything like that, and they give you full final say over over them. - Right. - You're not directing it, you're not the studio. That's very unlikely to take place. And it's a common frustration with people in her position where they're just like, okay girl, this doesn't feel anything like what it is that I wrote. And I guess contractually there ain't shit I could do about it. And I'm probably gonna speak up more and more and more. Like that's the wrong color. Hair, this isn't the shape of the thing or it wouldn't be here or whatever. And get back, okay, well tough. This the place we scouted or the director likes us better or we don't have the budget for that or we'll do we'll do we'll. And then you're just like one thing becomes one thing, becomes three things becomes five things. And you're like, well my heart isn't in anymore. I get that. - Yep, me too. What is your plan? - That's the plan whose baby it is. - Yep. - It's just not gonna stop me from going to go experience it. - Right, like you are a book writer and you're very good at it. But movie making is a different thing. And so like you said, it was going to be extremely unlikely as somebody who has never, to my knowledge, written a screenplay or produced a movie before. It's very unlikely that a studio was gonna give you that level of control. But I just would love to know if it's deeper than that. 'Cause that, you know, like if I was your home girl, yeah girl, we not going to the movie. But me as a regular regular person, I'm still going if that is your only issue with it. Like maybe that awful, terrible, beastly, transphobic witch. What if she might have been like, where's Pete's? - I mean, and that was my question, actually. - And one of her brothers was probably like, who? - We don't, no one cares. - We don't need the ghost floating through the fucking campus bitch. Is Moning Mardle in the movies, even? - Yeah. - Okay. - It's like half a second, she's still in one of them. - Okay. - George R. Martin in Game of Thrones. - Oh. - You need to finish writing this. - Right. And they said, don't even worry about it. We'll figure it out. (laughing) And he said, yeah, go right ahead. 'Cause I'm still getting paid. And I can write whatever the fuck story I want to when it's ready to come out. The bitches will be buying it anyway. So, I don't give a fuck with y'all. - He was also very much like, y'all can hold my dick since it feels like you know better than me. - Right. - Like I figured, we were all here because of this thing that I wrote, all of these things that I wrote. And it's been really decent up until you decided that you want to do. So, don't talk to me. Yes, my check is a clear end. Fans don't ask me that knows. I don't have anything for you. He was frustrated. - I mean, and would you see how we would still be waiting on the last season of Game of Thrones because that man has still not put out that book? - And. When the season came out, it was heavily criticized. - It was. - It was. - Possibly this movie will come out and people will watch it whether they enjoyed it or not and go, well girl, what about the shake of that outfit and the color of that hair? - Yeah. - And then maybe you, maybe. - Yep. - She can, you know, say wherever she is where her check can go. I try to tell these bitches. - Yeah. - Maybe. - Never know. - But it's nice. - This was being great. - I'm going. I'm going. I'm keeping my eyes and ears to the streets. - Since she won't tell us what they actually did to her, I mean, you're putting people in the position to be like, okay, so then I guess I'm gonna do whatever I really want to do. Since you're not gonna tell us what happened. And not like, I can't share the specifics. - I won't. - I don't know, man. - That's very different. I mean, I think what it sounds like is a massive. And I mean, like Gulf of Mexico, difference between expectations and reality. - For sure. - But I would, yeah, if anybody, well never mind, she's been pretty clear about not going to share the details, but you know, you also can be shocked when people turn around and then still support the movie. Were they calling you at your name? Was it racial aggressions? Was it like, I can't. - I don't know. - Well, I was gonna say, I can't believe it would be racial aggressions, but I don't know. You know why I just said it. - I don't even know why I just said it. - Right. - But I could have had every black person up on, you know, all of these are receipts of reduction. It's gonna be two white people from the studio. That's gonna be like, well, what are they saying? - Yup. - Well, I don't even know what they're saying. - Yup. - Right. So, let me back track that. But there should also, there got to be like a support group for screenwriters and authors. We've had this happen to them who can sit down and just deal because girl, it happens. A lot, why do you think there's so many adaptations of stuff that people watching are like, this was nothing like what I read. - Yeah. And people usually think the book is better. And that would probably be the case here. First of all, books can go into a lot more detail. Movies need to end at some point. - Exactly. - And movies cost a lot more money to make. - Yup. - So they put corners in order to produce something and it's rare that the movie out is better than the book and that probably will not be any different here. But I also can't expect people who have loved these stories for however many years they've been out to be like, oh, I guess I'm not gonna go to the movie even though I don't know why I'm not going to the movie. Like that is also unrealistic. - And I mean, you know, with respect, I have not seen anything from her saying, don't go watch it. - Right. - She's just said, I'm not going to watch it. And I had a terrible time. So I think it's mostly us just going, well girl, should we not watch it? 'Cause if. - Yes, this is what I'm saying. - It's something terrible to you. I don't want to go. - I don't want to, right. But you're kind of leaving us, you leaving it in our hands. So yeah, Nick is just going to go. - Yeah, my hands are going to grab a ticket. I don't know what to tell you. Well, let's talk about Megan Estalian. Let's talk about Megan Estalian. - Let's do that. - Let's just start with the freestyle. Let's just start with the freestyle. The teenest now, she's back. And I mean, we knew that. We knew that, it was teased. - It was. - What makes me sick of this bitch is when she's like, here's a banger, it's a freestyle. - Car referred. You know what I mean? - Just calling this a freestyle because it's like, whatever, this could be whatever. It's not even like, now I probably it's a lead single. I just wanted to soft launch your impending doom and destruction. - Yeah. - Here I am. - Throwing ass, looking gorgeous, giving you about six different flows. - Yeah. - Shade left and right. And then you could just see me, how would it even be? - And it actually took me several hours to even really clock the lyrics. Unfortunately, I was just staring at her. - That's true. - I'm like, oh yeah, this sounds good, but I cannot stop looking at her. Megan, how do you look like that? Like, I know the body. I know you're in the gym and all that, but it's not even just the body, it's everything together. The skin is just so.
Smooth and glowing and perfect and everything is just sitting and oh my god. I was I was I had it on a loop that tick-tock or she probably released it on every platform, but that little teaser she put out No better than a man my god, so it took me actually several hours to go back and be like oh she's actually coming for some nexonus You drink that glow situation. I told you That's how big is speaking of wanting to know what happened. I still just need so I'm that one still stays mm-hmm and I just wish I understood what happened but yeah Guess we won't be getting specifics of that either. I loved um come get your hobich Because yes, call these niggas hos That's exactly what they are And they love it. They get addicted to anybody I ain't got a settle. I'm a mother-fucking native Look too good. AI couldn't generate it I don't have the settle. I'm a native Uh-huh a college degree a college graduate She's like have y'all heard of colonization? I did see comments on that like what is it I don't get that part and I was like oh no open the schools How does your make it through Kendrick and great? Oh, they probably did not Because that one had some shit, but I'm still like oh wow I'll go back to it I love the references. I love the the still tepid and I love the But I mean, I think you would call this an old boy. What do you call this kind of car? Oh, I have no idea actually Is And classy like I think that's what we call them in Miami. I don't think I've ever heard that boy Huh oh okay, I was about to say is it not a caddy? I don't I think that might be a category. That's what I'm typically That's what I'm used to people calling that likes But yeah sounds good looks good just so so fine um And yeah, it was the part that seemed to be directed towards glow or could have been about glow also could have been probably about a whole lot of other people, but It was that that kind of grabbed my attention once I put my tongue back in my mouth He's also walking Victoria's secret fashion show And said that that's a dream come true Um probably not just for her. Mm-hmm, but for many of the people we're gonna be watching it Obviously my dream is finally coming true. I'm in the Victoria's secret fashion show tune in October 18 See if you get my wing I'm just gonna push probably gonna perform Oh, yeah, you know, yeah, in like one of the A custom angels outfit. I'm sure Um, I did see that they pulled up a tweet of hers from like 2011 of I'm a being of Victoria's secret fashion show one day So it really is like a long-ass dream that she's had that's finally coming true And when I heard it, I thought oh have you not done that already because it seems like such a natural match for her like I did she do finty maybe or but Megan and a lingerie brand that just goes together because she always showing us her ass anyway So like yeah put it in lace put it in satin and silken all of that like I would love to see it so um I I think she'll probably do this Tina Tuesday freestyle and then Hmm I'm wondering how much we're gonna get from at three yeah I think all of this is just leading up to or promo for whenever Yeah, I mean maybe I then will have like a single Maybe or She might as go out there and do a little medley or something and be like well I am fine so Complaints where um But yeah, it definitely feels like um this next phase of her Megan Uh trilogy I'm assuming it'll be three right um is around the corner and my word just must you have a Inspiration At this point Wait, what do you mean passing who up in reference to what Passing who up in fresh. Oh, yeah Damn it. They bring it up hits you get your shudad Ah, I'm sorry. I love her there's that hate me got a little look to him. Well Like and y'all be I was I was thought because I feel like that She might have meant something almost a little problematic by that But she can outright say it so I do respect it, but I just love I don't know I don't get tired of her flow the people who are like oh my god. She's not the same on every song girl suck my dick She sounds amazing on every song the flow is great on every song rap make it be right for her I have different flows on this freestyle. So why do they keep saying that and that pretty like a pocket same way Cardi has a pocket Cardi has a pocket drink as a pocket Nicki Minaj has like they have like a Flow that is very distinct and specific to them and then they also switch that I don't understand why Whatever never you guys do. It's pick. She's the one that y'all like to pick about. Yeah That uh that pretty brown skin bitch look like I'm toasted. That's my next Instagram caption Just waiting Snatchies Oh, she's so fun. And did you say the uh she did a verse on um that he want to lick my bum but my raw to talk talk. Yes That's how you sound when you straight be trying to speak in the Jamaican accent Now he want to lick my bum but my raw to talk talk. Oh, I love that fucking song. I do too But I sound better than that Let me warm up the voice. Please don't and I'll do it later in the program Yeah, and my I mean I'm not talking about don't I know that They're also called don't cry it is I'm not talking about their word Um the car hmm But other people might Called don't something else like morning do indeed um Excuse me Hello Still not paying bills Thanks you better let her live She said what do paying bills have to do with it Love art Apparently Sean Combs gets moods and in prison. He's getting massages Tennessee and specially cook meals by his fellow inmates that he's apparently paying thousands of dollars for duh um Spokesperson for Sean Combs said uh The continued scrutiny of every mundane detail of Sean Combs life in prison has reached the point where the media character characterizes ordinary prison life girls news The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence while awaiting the course decision on his appeal so Why is this person been drinking built the K-laced baby one Because what are you talking about if prison if the ordinary prison experience came with niggas making your bed Doing your laundry massage and you giving you any and and making shrimp fried rice for you Everybody would want to go I would have been locked that sounds like a goddamn vacation. That sounds like a spa day, bitch What are you talking about? This is not no normal shit And they can't do none of it without the CEOs and the prison administrators letting all that shit So it's all corrupt what you mean y'all turn in everyday regular prison life into some big story bitch Do you know how many women would commit crimes right now if it meant they got to go to prison and have that kind of experience Crystal The amount of us who fight to stay out The whole point of prison is supposed to be uncomfortable. You're supposed to have a fucking phone You're not supposed to have meals on this not supposed to have door-dash in prison, bitch What are you talking about? I just told a nigga this past weekend outside. They're reason Yeah, I want to go home instead of jail because I like sleeping in my bed. Yeah I like my comfort my bed. What you mean is nigga can bring in his own mattress and got niggas doing his chores If I you telling me I can have a deep
Tissue massage and nudes and Hennessy down to the jail. - Yeah, I'm a good one here. - Let me go and then book my say. What can I do to get in there? - A spokesperson for the prison said like all correctional agencies contraband, particularly cell phones, narcotics and weapons remain a constant child. - Yeah. 'Cause the people-- - And we continue to tackle-- - Fluttersh, shit right in. - And we can see-- - And we can see-- - Y'all do. - To tackle the problem of contraband being introduced into our facilities. Who is we? Yeah, there is a legitimate photograph right here of Diddy on his phone. (laughing) Looking at nudes. Are you kidding? - And my question is, who took this picture? - Exactly. - 'Cause there's another inmate with a cell phone, who was in a CO. - And now cell phones might be the one thing that a lot of niggas can get. - Yes. - You arrested us, though. - Massages and specially cooked meals. - And they got drugs. He got anti-depressants, premium liquor. What you having just a club night in your sense? - Is he got a cockatail too? Attention. (laughing) - They want to say Diddy got a puppy in there. (laughing) - Right. - And they let that niggas have a cat. - Didn't his lane Maxwell have a puppy parade or something? - Dish. - Don't do that. - Did they say that they brought her puppies? - I'm not. - Didn't do that to move her spirits. - To be nice to her, I guess, and keep her from station on every platform. - To keep her from, she was briefly given access to a service puppy to play with. Oh my God. Okay. So you say they probably would indeed let him do, you know how one of them, I don't know which media outlet it is, but they do these interviews where celebrities come in and they give them a bunch of puppies. (laughing) - You don't shoot one in video. - You don't see Vogue, Marie Claire, yeah, I see them shoot all the time. - Yeah. - They finna do that with this niggas. This is not normal prison behavior. This is not a normal prison life at all. Massages. - It's been days. Sorry. - Oh yeah. - When they had the puppies come out and then they was like, "Oh, come over here. Oh, you want love too. Okay. I'm just putting everybody in here. - Yeah. - Love it. - Yeah. - This is hilarious because I am used to hearing of celebrity inmates, having all kinds of wild contraband. But like you said, it's usually something like a cell phone, some drugs, something like that. - Right. - Hennessey and massages. - He probably having better sex in there than he ever did on the outside. - Be crystal, yes. - The best thing of his life is in that jail. - He's having a grand time. - An eggplant parmesan. - Not parmesan, yuck. Oh, you meant actual eggplant parmesan. Okay. (laughing) - But that too? - Yeah. Now he's getting piping hot meals. - And piping hot, pie. - And pie. - Yeah. - And then Tony said, what? This is normal prison life. - I'm a regular ordinary prison. - Ciao. - Ciao. - Again, do you know how overworked and tired the average mother in this country is? If you tell her, hey girl, go rob a liquor store. And we'll send you away for six months with free Hennessey and massages and somebody to do all your chores for you and you don't have to do nothing for your kids. You don't have to fuck your husband when you don't feel like it. And you can have nudes and a phone and hot, nutritious meals every night and drugs and alcohol. Do you know how many of them would be like, sign me the fuck up? - Honestly, you could just tell me I'm getting Hennessey and food that's not prison food. - And I really might consider it, can I bring my dog? I think Laney would be the only thing keeping me on the outside and I'm so cruel. - That's true. - That would be. - I can't bring a link. That's a fact. - Yeah. - No, 'cause Laney doesn't believe me. She love everybody. She would leave me and go hang out with some other inmates. She don't give a fuck. - Absolutely. Absolutely. I come back home and Laney looked at me like, Neenie looked at Dwight U-Banks that one time he tried to give her a hurt. - That's true. - He's like, "Why?" - Do I know you? Right. - I don't get a hug. No. - No. - Touching me? Smelling like that? I don't think so. And it's only a few months sentence. So he gets to just. - Okay. - Right. Yeah. - And every aspect of this pisses me off bad. (laughing) It's corruption. Oh, well, we hear at the Bureau of Prisons, we don't understand how all this contraband ends up, but we're gonna keep working on it. It's your people. It's your people who are actually in the prison on a day-to-day basis. They can be bought and that nigga has money. It's that simple. - And also, like. - It's one thing when you're talking about something, like, "Henny" or "Drugs or Phone Things You Can Hide." You can just stop this nigga from getting a massage. And why massage is considering the crime? - I was gonna say, "Are they allowed to touch each other?" I didn't think so. I didn't think so. But. - Like, when you get locked up, isn't there supposed to be some sort of a rehabilitation process? - Oh. - So, no. Actually. - If you're. (laughing) - Why are you letting him get baby-old down and rubbed up on in the process of this? He's certainly gonna get out and keep doing what he was doing, but we need that. - Oh, that's. And that's really American and nutshell. Longs you have the money. You can do whatever the fuck you want to. - And as long as you're, you know, like a sister male. - Oh, well, you can't, right, can't let that out. So the new different world reboot is on Netflix, officially. I have not watched it because, oh my God, the backlog of things to watch and read and play. You give me a fucking cracker. (laughing) - Yeah. I haven't because Niggas spoiled it immediately. - E. - Like, they're big spoilers? - Well. - Or like, plotlines. - No, they have, they posted their way through every episode. - Every episode? - So. - Yeah. - There are some things that are like, surprises that are revealed, you know, later in the season that I all, or like, or family relation, like, this character is related to some other beloved character that we knew from back in the day, that sort of thing. And so at this point, I do feel like I know every plot point. And I'm deeply irritated by it, because spoiler tags exist and you could have done, like, you didn't have to post your way through it the day I'm talking about within 12 hours of it coming out. Niggas had spoiled it for me to the point that I will watch it at some point, but that really pissed me off. So I'll get there, though. - I'll be scared to be fuck out of me. Oh my God. - She like, how? This is my house. (laughing) I love her. What a deeper. (laughing) - How did you even get in here so quietly? Okay. Um, yes, I haven't watched it yet. I'm delighted that Tashina Arnold's daughter is on it. - Yes. - She, like, the moment that she started hitting them, the red carpets and stuff and just being her mama, like, effortlessly, couldn't help it. So funny and beautiful. I was like, oh my God, put this person on everything. So seeing that she has like a pretty big recurring role on this is exciting. I think one part of it, I am not used to it being single cam, like a different world is a multi-cam, you know, the old school sitcoms. - Right. - So it being another series that's gone single cam, like a reboot is a little strange. I get, though, it's just that's of the time, you know, multi-camera sitcoms, I guess we're just being on the past. - And I think they wanted to distinguish it from the original. Like, I think that was kind of like the somebody compared it to Bel Air versus Fresh Prince of Bel Air. - Right. - I heard that comparison too. - Yeah. And that makes sense. - To me. - It does make sense. College students are not, college students today are not college students of 30, 40 years. Oh, yeah, not even not right. Our time and then another 20 years before that as well, yeah. - The way they consume media, the things they think is hard to me. - Yeah. - Just completely different. - Yeah. - You know, originally I was like, I know that Bill Cosby's gonna make money from this just off of the strength of his thing, but I'm like, I don't know that Bill Cosby even knows what money is the first thing. So, you know, everybody have fun, I think. - Is she actually still breathing? Let me make sure. - Fucking off. I'm sure that bitch does not know that she makes- - Damn. - It comes from. - Yeah. But last time I was looking like Harvey Wines.
thing. Boots. It's a crap it barely here. Red wine scene. Um, but I have the people I know who have seen it have said great things about it. So if I didn't already know what happens, I'm sure I would have to do. Yeah, I don't have any spoilers yet. Um, but I adopted I will dodge them by the time I do decide to watch this. And that's fine. Yeah. Another reason I wanted to bring it up is because, uh, apparently y'all have been absolutely trying an icon. Jasmine guy posted on her Instagram. The internet can be brutal to women as we grow older. It asks us to celebrate life while criticizing every sign that we've lived it. Hmm. A bar. That is a fucking lyric. I loved that. Growing older brings change. And I won't pretend every change is easy, but beauty style and joy don't have an expiration date. Let's spend less time judging ourselves and each other and more time loving each other, making memories and living a life we're here to live. Oh, exactly, dude. Which one of you fucking, shithless bitches had the living? Goal. Yeah. To criticize this lady for being and looking older. In what world? First of all, Jasmine guy is 64 years old. She's gonna look older than she did when this fucking show aired in the 90s, right? That's number one. Number two, Jasmine guy looks fucking great. Beautiful. Beautiful. Like I want for some of y'all to put Jasmine guy next to you. I'm sure. Oh, and do it quickly. And you know what? Throw your granny and your aides in there too. And your daddy. Infant. Infant. I got daddy in there as well. So you're old ass bloodline on the fucking timeline, bitch. Like, girl, people get older. What the fuck do you think that you're gonna look like when you hit 64 if you make it, bitch? If you make it. Melissa Ford said, if you want to die of beautiful corpse, that's on you. If you want to die a young, gorgeous corpse, that's your business. Today is the youngest. You'll ever be a girl. That's your decision to make. I would like to live to be old and wrinkly and what the, what some shithead young person would call ugly and, you know, making fun of her looks and all this. Not to mention Jasmine guy has looked like this for at least 10, 15 years, maybe 20 years. Like she has aged. There's nothing wrong with that. She has talked about, I think being a smoker and a drinker at some point. I don't know if she still drinks the way she used to, but I think maybe she still smokes, which obviously will contribute to aging. She's by racial, which will obviously contribute to aging. And if she's not spending tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands on cosmetic treatments, like a lot of the monoracial black celebrities that think of them or two, then yes, she's going to, this is, this is not uncommon for a 64 year old person to look like. I can, you know, our underspells. You are under delusions. You have been, you have been bamboozled by Snapchat and TikTok and Instagram filters. You have been bamboozled by rich celebrities who start getting Botox in their 20s. And you don't know what a real human being looks like no more, but you should because your mama right there. Go look at your mom and spending too many, too many opportunities asking AI what you look like in the 80s or would you look like if you went if you was a crackhead. Did you see that crackhead trend? Did I see it? I said, wow, how can I delete the internet from all these niggas phones? How can I do it? Or the earth, because like crackheads now crack it. Yeah, crack it. That's what we're burning down for us in poisoning water for to see you. Look at Travis said, just go do crack, just get in the streets and go do it. Oh, yes, I do see that. What happened to closing your eyes and imagining it? Just picture it. Do it. Go picture it in your mind's eye. You uncreative bitch. What? Y'all are so strange with the way you are abusing AI, but yeah, you are under spells and you refuse to just let women in particular age naturally. Yes. She knows something else. I was like, Kadeem Hardson right there not looking like he did on on a different world. Right. Has gained a lot of weight, like a lot of people do. Right. He looks different because he's not 24 years old anymore. And if you have a shithead children, make it till your 60s, then perhaps you will understand what the rest of us are talking about. The disrespect of a legend is inexcusable quietly. Some of you bitches need to super zip it because you just hit a different world yourself. You just touch your own hillman and you look for it. Oh, and I'm talking across races, if this is like some of you girlies are looking 20 years older, 15 years older than you. Very true. At the moment. Mm-hmm. Life's been hard. Like, isn't it? Life's been hard. But they ball god damn day. You drink the other day. Hello. You live off of it. Having played outside of your life. Your whole life. Never cried. Nothing. Never ran nowhere. Right. You don't move your body. You drive everywhere. You're completely inactive. And you, people look at you and be like, damn, that's a rough 28. That's your niggas right now. So, you know, oh, my bad, I'm 15. I just hate that. I mean, I didn't see the criticisms, but I was confused by them because like I said, Jasmine guy has looked like this for a while. So if you've seen her and anything she's done over the past 15 years, this is not a shock. So I don't know. I guess for a lot of you niggas, this is our first time seeing her since a different world. But the rest of us already knew that she had aged because she has worked throughout her. We have seen her like y'all are. Oh my god. So weird. I saw weird. Go tell your granny. She's ugly and old and wrinkled. Go do that. And you won't bitch because your granny is old and likely beautiful and you love her. Unless she's, you know, awful and ugly. But for the most part, you see your granny and you see her older and wrinkly and stuff like that. And me when I see them, I'm like, yes. Man, you up there. You got stories to tell. Right. You lived that life. Look at you. And I love that face. And I love my granny's wrinkled face. I wish I could see you to be seen. Woo. Y'all are horrible people. I hate that she saw it. But I love the way she chose to address it because yes, everything she said was just so spot on. It just let that lady rip her fucking life. I want to say I'm a lot of you niggas. I've been commenting about this, but this specific thing because you saw Jasmine guys like a sex symbol or like a, you know, a girl, a crush. Right. Pretty crush. When when she was on this show. Yeah. Um, but tough. Too bad. People hate that. What do you? And to be honest with you, this lady's probably still getting clever. Like this is who we watched that show and like come home to me. Yeah. And there's no escaping it. I saw a video, a comment on a video of Beyoncé, where somebody was like, oh, she started to look like Tina, her mother. That 44, 45 year old woman is starting to look like her mama. You don't say what? You bitches are unrealistic. And then you take it out on the rest of us. What if I told you that blue audio looks like a mother? What if I said that Beyoncé at 16 looks a lot like blue IV at 14, would you believe it? I just plays it so stupid. It is. It's just so done. It really is. So I hope you niggas are fully ashamed of yourselves for the way y'all talked about that woman, because it was just no reason for that. Why? For what? Don't have nothing else to do. Just run a name out. There's so many other things you can do with boredom, especially now. Yes. Go get a gulp of fresh air while it's here. When you finish a different world, Netflix will take you to their menu where you can watch hundreds of other programs and movies. Just look at something else. Listen to some music. There's a lot of great music in this world. Even better. Leave your phone inside and go outside and just go be a part of the fresh air and the grass and the things going on outside of your home. Something, because this is, I just cannot believe that y'all saw that lady.
and watch that program, and the point you decided to make, and the thing you wanted to talk about was Jasmine Guy looking older. Yeah, she's older. Well, I just got a spoiler. Well, that didn't take long, did it? And I want to say to website to writer publications blog, because this isn't even like an Instagram blog. You put spoiler alert right there. You probably shouldn't make the headline of something where a different world would be. It would come up in SEO and search engines. And you shouldn't put it in the headline. Hey, girl, these two related. Yeah. Oh, you found out the one that I found out that pissed me off. Yeah. That made me mad. I don't want to watch it now. That's really much to me. I don't want to watch it anymore. Oh, that's what happened to me. Oh, my God, I felt the same way. Oh, I'll get over it eventually, but that made me so mad. That would have been fun. Just remember that Jasmine Guy is a living icon. She is a legend. And she accomplished more by the age of 28 than most of you will in your entire pathetic life. So this is a living truth. You've got to hold on to that fact. Also, she was in Harlem nights and you weren't. So go carry it. All the things she's done. Like, y'all are talking about an actual legend. Like, in dance, in television. Like, she is. Oh, I hate that she's sprouted like a big resident evil eye in her fucking neck or something. Or she was just like every time she opened her mouth, moths came out. Like what? You would think she was a bad person. The way y'all are talking about her. Right. You would think she had done, you would think she was up there with JK bitch ass. The way y'all talk about her is same. Go read the Wikipedia on Jasmine Guy. Okay. Go read. Go read up on Jasmine Guy. That's a bad bitch. Go to IMDB if you want the full course. There you go. I mean, the doll and the diva. Matter of fact, when you go look at your mama, your grandma and him, I hopefully respect the way that they look. Ask them what the fuck they think about Jasmine Guy and how she look right now. Because I haven't seen any criticisms coming from people who are her age. It's been nothing but young assholes from what I've seen. It's almost like with age comes a certain degree of wisdom. But yeah, go look at what this lady has done in film and on stage and with dance and just the things she has. Okay. All right. Y'all got it. With that, I'm going to go ahead and say that we wrap up our. That's what that was going to be to read this week. I'm like, whoo. Yeah, no. Mine is going to be something simple. Okay. All right. Let's take a break and come back with your letters. Okay, folks. We are back to the show. This time for your listener. Indeed. If you have something you'd like to ask us, please send us an email. Ask the
[email protected]. We may read it aloud on the show. We haven't update this week from MC. If you remember, MC was like, my ex got engaged. And I want to know, was their proposal better than mine? Yeah. Remember that from last week. Oh, yeah, yeah. Hold on. And so MC said, oh, my God, I wrote this thinking that it would never be read aloud. Why, girl? They're right. I don't know. I knew I was being silly. And I thought, where do I hear people being told that they being silly? The other read. I knew y'all read that. I was looking for an honest read on the situation, telling me to knock it off. And I'm very honored to have gotten it. I want to assure you guys that I am definitely talking to the lady. I'm in weekly therapy. This engagement comparison has opened up a larger conversation. We've been having about OCD and rumination. I sometimes get stuck on certain thoughts or comparisons and have trouble noticing when I'm ruminating or falling down and obsessive spiral, but I am working on it. Also, my partner is a really special person and is very supportive of my processing. Part of why I love him is because we have always had an open, honest conversation about mental health. Thank you so much again. It means a lot to hear you both say that I deserve to be happy. I'm a big fan of the show and I'm sending lots of love. MC. Love to hear that. Sending it back. Yes. Wonderful update. Glad to see your talking to the lady. But if y'all email us, please understand you. It may indeed. It may indeed appear. I say it every week. Every week. She says. It may be read aloud on the show. It. That's for real baby. Like every week. But thank you and I'm glad to hear that you're getting help because OCD can really be debilitating. So good for you. Miss Rachel says she has it. First of all, I can't believe I forgot to mention it. Miss Rachel put out an album, bitch. That's a fucking banker. What? Nigger. Miss Rachel's album. Okay. It is for children, but it's excellent. I'm sorry. It's so good. I'm going to listen to it later. I listened to my body. That is a bob. Anyway. Our first letter this week comes from Ashley, who says. Dear crystalline kiffiri. My name is Ashley and I have a cousin named Mary Kate. Of course you do. Right. She and I grew up more like siblings. So we fought hard and loved hard all the time. When we were about 10 years old, we got into one fight that had to be broken up. Afterwards, I remember her mom, my aunt Claire, yelling to my grandma that I need anger management and that I was going to end up as another statistic. For some context, aunt Claire, so the cousin's mama said that Ashley was going to be another statistic. Work. Aunt Claire has always been considered the bougie auntie of the family. She was the first one to move to the suburbs, get married and became a stay-at-home mom. Meanwhile, my mom had me young raised me as a single mother and we struggled financially during those early years. So that comment really stuck with me. Fast forward 20 years, I'm educated, married, a homeowner and a new mom. I'm still very close to my cousin Mary Kate, who is happily single in her mid-30s with no kids. And that draws my aunt Claire absolutely crazy. I bet it do. Aunt Claire has an older son named Trey, who is 10 years older than we are. One day, his mugshot appeared on a Facebook page that posts all of the daily arrests in our city. Trey is divorced with two kids and has a history of substance abuse and violence against women. My mom, grandma and I have quietly followed his criminal case since March. He was recently convicted of assault by strangulation and sentenced to 20 years in prison. Aunt Claire and Mary Kate have not mentioned any of this to us. In fact, they have not brought up Trey at all and it's almost like he stopped existing. My grandma and I feel strange knowing something this serious is happening in their immediate family while pretending we don't know. My mom, however, feels very strongly that we should mind our business and continue saying nothing. To be clear, I'm not looking to bring it up as, "Hi, hi, look how the tables have turned." As much as that childhood comments say with me, I genuinely feel bad that Aunt Claire and Mary Kate are going through something this heavy and feel like they can't lean on us, especially because we're family. So I would love to know what y'all would do in this situation. Should I privately reach out to Mary Kate and let her know that I know what happened and I'm here for her? Or do I respect the fact that they haven't told us and keep my mouth shut until they decide to bring it up themselves? Thanks, Ashley. Well, Ashley, can't say I don't understand your desire to be petty here. She just says she didn't want to be petty. I mean, she's trying not to. She's trying. You don't. Yeah, you're being more mature about it than not with it. Me too. Yeah, I definitely think continuing to keep it to yourself and just be open to listening. I think helping outside of that, I think it would depend on what it is. I don't even know what it is you could do to be helpful besides listening if somebody brings it up to you. But even in a situation like that, I feel like I would be. I would let that go on over to grandma. Somebody else could I don't know if I personally would be the best shopper. Yeah, I don't know if I'm there, but I just I don't see. I don't see how my past with with our Claire and her comments would. Would be like active or relevant in this conversation, like in an actual conversation. Cause I don't do bringing it up or referencing it or at you know, they'd be like having my. Having my.
comments, conversation, having roots in that, I just don't see what it does for me or anybody else. - Yeah. - But yeah, I think I just, I don't know how involved I would be in the conversation of this at all. I feel like I would be very indifferent and I would stay away from the conversation. If it was brought up to me, I'd be like, "Oh, well, look at that." - Yeah, I think I wouldn't be surprised that nobody reached out to me because I know how I am. (laughs) - Right. - It sounds like your cousin is a real shithead. And as somebody who has been assaulted by strangulation, you know I'm not gonna be like a supportive, you know, let's do what we can to get trades, you know, let's hire a lawyer see if we can get his tenants to do it. Like, I'm not gonna be that girl. I also wouldn't be surprised if you're auntie and your cousin have not brought it up for two very different reasons. Like, I think shame is probably at the root, but your auntie is probably like, "Oh, you know, I am the, I'm the Claire Huckstable. I'm supposed to look a certain way." Whereas your cousin might just be extremely mortified that this is her brother. Like, ugh, if my brother was doing some shit like this, oh my God, I couldn't distance myself from that nigga fast enough. So, if I did bring it up, it would just be privately to my cousin when it's just the two of us. I would be like, "Hey, I, you probably don't want to talk about it and that's fine, but I know about Trey. And if you ever want to talk about it, I'm here for you." - Yeah. - Other than that, I would leave it alone. I'm not bringing it up to Aunt Claire. She's a, she's still, oh, you went apology from 20 some odd years ago. So, I wouldn't say shit to her about it, but I would be privately gloating. (laughs) - That's 1000%. - Guess who needs anger management now? Guess who ended up as another statistic now rude up the bitch. That, see, that's what I would want to say. And that's why it's best I don't talk to her. - That's why I have more than one journal. And when I tell you, (laughs) I'm turning the Moesha Journal music up 1.5 speed. - Why? - Yeah. - I'm putting some DJ mustard over that Moesha. And I'm just going to get to writing. And we reference getting a journal here a lot. And a lot of times it's in a very petty way because you need it or you're using the wrong place of it. And, (laughs) but journaling is so fierce. It really is like getting out what you're thinking. Just letting it in a place. It is so cathartic. And then you, no one is affected by it, but you. - Yep. - So that's definitely where I would be three pages in going off. - Oh yes. - Just petty cackling. But I agree with what Chris has said. I think that's good advice to at least maybe hit up your cousin and be like, if you want to talk, you want to go get some coffee or go to the gallery. - But if you also want to pretend that's not your brother, I totally get it. And we can do that too, girl. Because guess who's going to pretend that that's not my cousin. (laughs) - Hit it, this means. - I think it's a horrible person. I would love to pretend that I ain't no kidding the mind. What? Oh yeah. Best, let me see, did she have another? Was there something else? - Yeah. I think, yeah. I think we've given you probably enough here. Best of luck if you do decide to reach out to Mary Kate. Our next letter comes from Styla who says, Hey, Chris Lane Kidviri. I'm a long time listener and I'm hoping you can help me navigate an obstacle I've been facing as I look to start a podcast of my own. Sorry y'all, I am losing my voice. I was at Barclays last night and I did a lot. So, I'm going to do my best. So Styla says, my friend and I are starting a show where we'll be talking about real life experiences, relationships and the things that people sometimes feel uncomfortable discussing out loud. One of the things I know I want to talk about eventually is some of the complicated dynamics I've experienced within my family. I'm not interested in naming anyone, exposing anyone's personal business or putting my family members on blast. I simply want to speak on what I've experienced, how certain situations affected me and what I've learned from them. My concern is that even though my intention is simply to tell my own story, talking publicly about family problems can easily be perceived as messy, problematic or airing dirty laundry. I don't want the conversation to become an opportunity to drag people or make accusations. At the same time, I don't think people should have to completely silence their own experiences just because others are part of the story. I've really appreciated the conversations you've both had about your own challenging family dynamics. Those conversations have been meaningful to me because they've made me feel less alone and they've shown me that there can be value in talking honestly without necessarily turning the conversation into an attack on the people involved. So my question is, how do you navigate talking honestly about family issues and your own experiences without it coming across as trying to be vindictive or exposing other people? Are there boundaries you think someone should establish for themselves before telling these kinds of stories publicly? And how do you balance being honest about your own truth while still respecting the privacy of the people involved? I would love to hear your perspective on this. Thank you for taking the time to read my question and for everything you both have created with this platform with love and gratitude always, Styla. - Okay, Styla, can you do me a question and read the second to last question again? - The second to last question. - The second to last question was, are there boundaries you think someone should establish for themselves before telling these kinds of stories publicly? - Okay. - So Styla, shout out to you for the space and platform that you're creating for yourself. As far as this, I guess the only thing I'm thinking are first thing I'm thinking of is like, for me, I know the dynamics of my relationship with my family members and family members I've spoken about situations I've spoken about and I think that for myself, I mostly have waited by the healing factor for me, the necessity of it for me, the healing factor that's possible for other people in the conversation versus however my family or whoever I'm talking about will take it. And if the good of it outweighs whatever back in drama and it usually does for me and my family, then I'm gonna take the good. Now that's why I'm saying me and my family. I don't know specifically how speaking about certain things would affect your relationships. But one of the things that you said was sh*t, it just left my brain. You were saying something in the letter about, oh, like, basically we fuck what everybody else is saying. Like how you communicate things that you've been through experiences, as long as you know that you're doing it within your moral compass, they are not doing it in this way of being vindictive. - Yeah. - How someone else takes it is how they take it. You can't control how a friend or a family member is going to react to everything that you say or things that you share with people. You know that you're not approaching something in a vindictive manner. If you know that you're not being destructive or shady, to me, that's where the book's thought. You're not gonna be able to, especially if you're saying something that's very sensitive, are you talking about something a way that someone hurt you? It's very common and can be expected that if that person, here they go, feel some type of way. Is that prevent you from speaking about it? - Not to mean. - Probably not. - Right. - So. - Just been, but probably not. - Yeah, I appreciate that you said that you know, you've heard us speak about situations before and it's been helpful for you. And I feel like you know, it sounds like you are interested in passing on that good energy. - Yeah. - And yeah, outside of the possibility of it helping those who see and hear it. Do it for yourself and let that be the practicing of, of boundaries for yourself and your experiences and how other people take it. You don't, you just gonna be upset. You go on a show somewhere and be like, girl, well, stop eating peach cobbler. And just, oh, so your granny's recipe, just not good. What is this immediately?
not a granny. How dare? No. Granny's not speaking to you anymore. I want you to want to come all the things given you just well. Not a failure once about you to apologize to her, because you have the nerve to say you don't like. Right. So I think that it's a thing where you have to just do it feels the best for you. What you might find healing therapeutic. And in the boundary, should just be this is my truth, I'm going to speak it. Is there a way that you think you can find peace with this? Because that's not really up to me. With me, my family, they just know they got so far. It's like, he don't say what he want to say. Yeah. And he's going to say what he wants to say, whether I like it or not, he's going to do his thing. But he ain't in jail. He ain't constantly on the news for saying stupid shit. Right. And he constantly tells us not to listen to him speaking about anything. Yeah. So because if they hear something and they're like, well, you know, you didn't have to talk about that one Christmas or some shit. We're like, you didn't have to listen to it either. And I did. So. Yeah. Well, I mean, I think the part that they wrote about vindictive nature and stuff like, I don't think any of us have come all here and spoken about experiences with family with just true, vindictive nature and malice. And if it's come out as negative or like fuck that person because here goes this experience. Yeah. And here, this is the truth. Right. And honestly, if it's really bad, if it was really damaging, if it's really traumatic, go fuck out of here. I don't care how you feel. That's really it. First of all, we talk about abuse. I don't give a shit how you feel about it. Kiss my ass. Tough. Shouldn't have did what you did to me. How about that? How about that? And for the people who need to hear that shit, they need like your chest, your full chest, both titties out there. You know what I'm saying? Like fuck. However, someone else is going to respond to you telling the truth about how they wronged you hurt you, abused you, neglected you, abandoned you. That is for you. And you know, hopefully it can also be for someone else who will heal and you know, grow from that and learn to set boundaries and stuff like that. Speak about the shit is a boundary. Well, and you are an adult. You can do whatever you want to. I think Kiviri gave you a lot of really excellent advice there, especially the part that you said about doing it for you. I think that's so important. The things I talk about with my family publicly, I say them partially because you know, ask somebody with the education I have, I know that it helps others to hear it. But it's also partially because I was very much raised to keep those things a secret, to keep my real feelings a secret and to keep up the appearances, keep up the looks. So it is sort of rebellion in that way, but again, I'm grown and I can do it. Right, right, right. It reminds me a little bit of Ashley. That letter from Ashley and what you said about her being like, you know, we keep this, you know, in the stuff that happened in the house, whatever, like they're trained to keep horrible things like like that a secret and possibly even whatever, clear to it. Yeah, because a lot of people are more concerned about appearances than what is real. And I wanted to embrace what was real instead of what my mother wanted me to believe was real. Or in my father too for that matter. So I would say if you're worried about seeming messy or airing dirty laundry or whatever, the number one thing I would recommend you do is to tell them Niggas first exactly how you feel. I got on this show and called my daddy a bum ass nigga after I called him a bum ass nigga to his face. You see, like I came on this show and said my mom did a lot of great things for me and she neglected my emotional needs every day subjected me to abuse from my father and chose him over me every single day after I said that to her face. Yeah. So that way and also my father probably doesn't know anything about this show. My mom can't even tell you what it's called. She has never even known what it's called. They are completely uninterested in what I do. So I don't think I've ever even had to worry about it. But if it got back to them, what can you say to me? I already told you to your face that this is what it is. And Rashida, you did that to me. Not so real. So that would be the first thing I did. And as far as like boundaries for yourself, another thing that I made sure I did was not to say it publicly until I was ready for somebody to try to throw it in my face. Ooh. So like the stuff with my dad, I did not tell y'all about my dad till probably months or years had passed. I did not tell y'all about my mama until months or years had passed. I had to really process that pain and therapy and sit with it and and heal from it on my own. It was not safe to tell the world because I mean, who knows? What if your podcast immediately blows up? It's a global sensation. And now you have people who love you and appreciate it. You're also going to have people who don't like you for whatever reason. And they will take your pain and try to make it your fault. And I always think a Kenya Moore who has behaved horribly on reality TV. But when we found out about Kenya more as mama and how abusive and terrible that lady was, you know, I mean, people to this day will throw Kenya more as mama back in her face because they don't like Kenya more. That's extremely painful. So I would not share nothing that I would not that would hurt me if somebody tried to hurt me with it. So I definitely I did not process with y'all in real time. There are a lot of things y'all don't know about me because I'm not ready for the world to try to shoot on me with it. So so do that. And as far as privacy of people involved, it's not like I say, oh, well, my mother's name is Ashley Jane Coleman. She was born January 1, 1948. She lives at 1333 Morning Drive. Right. There's I said, my mother and my father, y'all don't know who those people are. Right. So privacy. What? If they turn around and get online and be like, I can't believe my daughter said such a such an attach a clip of the show. That's your bad. Why would you do that? They don't know you. That reminds me of my ex who strangled me speaking of Ashley's letter. When I talked about that experience, that nigga and his friends would hit me up and be like, it's unfair for you to be talking about him like that and blah, blah, blah. I'm like, nobody knows who that nigga is. Nobody knows who that nigga is. And are you? Well, yes, actually, they indeed were. But I never posted that nigga. I've had a no face, no case policy on Instagram for over a decade. Nobody knows who that is. Nobody unless you met that nigga in real life, you do not know who that is. So, and Rashida. He did that to me. Like, are we? Like, what the fuck are you talking about? That nigga could have took my life that night and you think I shouldn't talk about it, girl. Get off of my device. Delusional and insane. So you really have to look at, um, I think you, you balance all of this that we've told you. And then you look at like, is this somebody who's opinion I should respect? Should I even care how they feel about it? Because depending on what you did to me, you can be as mad. Be glad that mad is all you are. Be glad I didn't press charges. Be glad. Amazing. That I still am on speaking terms with, you know, some of you as far as family is concerned, like, be, be glad for what you have. Yeah. Be glad I didn't say names and where you work and where you live and all the trifling details of your life. Like, be glad for that. Because I talked about it on podcast, girl, kiss nice. And it also is like a creative, the someone who writes and things like that. I feel like you told me this years and years and years ago. Yeah, I'm pretty sure you said, like, anybody who knows you, like people know what you do for a living. They can't expect that you're never going to put any of your personal experiences into that you do. Right. Exactly. And I was like, well, because that's very realistic. You expect writers not to write from their experience. You expect artists not to make songs and art and whatever else about their experiences. No girl, life is happening to all of us. And there's a saying of like, if you wanted to be remembered more finally, then you should have behaved better. If something along those lines, that's not a direct quote. But it's something like that. We're all the villain
in somebody's story in some way. I know I'm the villain in some people's story. And some of it was like, damn, yeah, I was fucked up for that. And some of it is you just didn't like me doing it. But either way, I don't care. Either way, the things I've done wrong that I was, that I know good and damn well, I was wrong for. I have a toned forward to the best of my ability and I have done the work to no longer act like that or say or do things like that. But the rest of it, you just not liking me 'cause you don't like me. You just don't have to sit with that. You don't like me because I told the truth about what you did to me. So-- - That's rough for you. - Yeah, that's rough for you. I guess you shouldn't have did that shit. I guess you shouldn't have. If some girl pops up and said, yeah, Chris will make fun of me 'cause I lost custody of my kids 15 years ago. Yeah, I did do that. (laughing) I did. Wasn't that so trifling and terrible of me? It really was. I'm sorry. I really should not have done it. - Who would you be like, oh yeah. I did do that. - I did do that. - I did. That's why you don't fuck with me, that's valid. You know, I can accept it. I'm not either thinking everybody should love me even though I've done wrong. That's a very immature way of thinking, so. - Yeah. - Good luck with the podcast. You're right that people need to hear it because a lot of us are conditioned to just pretend nothing is wrong, even though a lot is wrong. And it helps, so. - It really does. - It does. Best of luck to you. Should we do another one or should we wrap it up there? - My read is incredibly short, so it's up to you. - Okay, let's do one more. 'Cause I don't think mine is that long either. I'm cussing y'all out behind Asia Wilson. Okay, here's one from Mitchell. This is also about family. Mitchell says, "Hi, Chrislyn Kid Fury. I'm a black queer man living in Texas. And my mom and my cousin, Jasmine. Did you mean to put Jasmine in this?" - Are both transphobic. - We have argued about this, but they don't believe trans women are women and they don't like being called cisgender, but they say they support the LGBTQ community otherwise. - Oh my gosh. - Recently, I received a DM from my cousin on Instagram. It was a clip of Laverne Cox and T.S. Madison discussing their womanhood. My cousin captioned the video saying, "Why can't they be their own people instead of being women?" They were both born with weenies. - Okay. - Weenies. - Weenies, wow, how old is your cousin? - Why are you even commenting? - I just ignored it like I do any DM. She sends about trans issues because I already know that we don't agree. How do you deal with bigoted family and friends, especially when you have a close relationship? I do not agree with my mom or cousin at all. I also don't want to lose my relationship with them or cut them off. I know that I can't control how my mom, cousin or anyone else feels or thinks, even if I try to educate or challenge them. But I also don't want to feel like I'm being a bad ally by letting certain things slide. Does this make me a bad ally? How can I maintain these relationships while dealing with their bigoted beliefs? Thanks Mitchell. This one is more challenging for me because I'm not, I have family members who have bigoted beliefs, but we are not close. So that's what I was gonna say. The family members that have bigoted beliefs, I have the time just to forget they exist. - Literally. - Either because we aren't close, like we weren't close or I put distance between us because of their bigoted beliefs. And that's not ever really been challenging for me. Specifically. So I think typically for me, if I will make like one sincere effort to get you together. - Yeah. - You know, I understand that wrapping your mind around gender identity and sexual orientation can be very, very difficult for people, especially different racist cultures regions. And as somebody who know better and is just trying the best, I can for people out here to have sense and treat. Others, specifically people in my community with respect, I will go, hey girl, here's why you're a cisgender. And here's why you're gonna shut the fuck up about people calling you that. Here's why trans women are women. And here's why trans women who are attracted to men are straight like all of these things. I'm gonna break this down for you. And hopefully if we had any form of respect to what another, you'll be receptive to what it is I'm saying. You will not in a great, and you will try to put that understanding into action or relevance within your life. - Right. - If you try to argue with me about it. - Because this is a matter of education. - It's really. - It is a matter of educate. I grew up transphobic. I unlearned that and I am completely different now. You can do the same. - You can do the same thing. - So if you have no intention, try. If you have absolutely no intention to ever come out of that bubble and just recognize that you lose nothing. Like you lose. - Come on. - Absolutely nothing. - Tell them again. - By acknowledging these individuals as exactly who they are. - Yep. - 'Cause it is not a challenge for you. No one is trying to erase you from the earth or damn sure not trying to take your kids. - Right. So if that remains a struggle for you, we don't have to have any kind of, I'm talking about zero relationship. I'm not even going to allow you to think that I'm okay, complacent or anything like that. I want you to feel the significance behind how fucking ignorant you are. And if it means that is a family member, a friend, letting you know, oh, you don't believe that trans women are women. Well, fuck you for life. Like maybe something will move there. But it's not gonna be a conversation or confuse me. It's not gonna be anything on the table. You're either gonna get with it or you're gonna get fucking from around me. - Right, I think for me, I agree with everything if you're just saying, if you do try to educate them and you know, you come with sources, real sources for them to go cross check for themselves. And they're still like, well, I don't like it. Okay, so then we need to have a boundary of not speaking about trans issues then. Because you know, at this point you know that you're factually incorrect and you just want to hold on to your bigotry and I find that disgusting. So DM and me about T.S. Madison and Laverne Cox and whoever else, just don't. We simply need to, this is something we can't talk about. If you bigoted person want to remain close to me, this is the olive branch I'm giving you because you Mitchell keep saying, you don't want to abandon these relationships, you're very close to these people, you don't want to let them go. I would let them go as far as their proximity to my life and things that I care about. Like those bigoted family members, I see them maybe once a year and that's if that. I haven't any on my daddy's side, the triathlon side, no shade. I haven't any on my daddy's side who voted for George W. Bush and Trump. You think I talked to her ever about anything? (laughing) You know how fucking embarrassing that is that she's part of the seven percent? E.Y.C. No. Talk to that lady? (laughing) Ted, serious. It would've even say, that's what I'm saying. Like, you, just the side of you will hurt me so bad. So bad. I think at best, that one holiday or whatever the fuck I would be like, hey, that's that. Right. I think as far as like whether you're being a bad ally, you did try to educate, which is good. And then if you try to have the boundary with them, of like, well, we're just simply not gonna talk about this since you choose to be bigoted. That's probably not an ideal response, but it is a very human one because most people not gonna cut their mama off. Most people not gonna do that. I might, but most people not. So, but then if they still insist on talking to you about trans issues, I think then you really have to be like, okay, like what are we really doing here? 'Cause not only do you want to hold on to your biases that badly, you feel compelled to share them with me. Why? You know how I feel. So why do you want to come to me with this conversation when I already try to talk to you about it? Like, at this point, you don't respect how I feel about it. Right.
And so now we really gotta talk about whether it's worth it to have you be a close person in my life. 'Cause why don't you, even if you don't respect trans people, why don't you respect that I don't wanna talk to you about this? - Exactly, I agree. But that is rough, I'm sorry, your mom and your cousin that is hard, but what can you do about people who refuse to learn? It's a real crisis in this country. You have to remember, your mom and your mom and cousin, they probably don't even read that great. So the literacy crisis, it infiltrates in all kinds of ways. People are ignorant and they wanna stay that way. But you don't get to be around me spouting all that ignorance and think I'm just gonna take it because we can, no. I'm not doing that, so. - Yeah, I agree. I think that being like, okay, this is the thing we are absolutely not talking about. We'll work for people that you're, you know, close with. - Yeah, good luck Mitchell, please let us know how it goes or what you decide to do. We're gonna wrap up the list of letters right there this week. Again, if you have a question for us, send us an email at astereadgmail.com. And remember that it may be read aloud on the show. We'll be right back. - Especially if it's funny. - All right folks, we are back. It is now time to wrap things up with the read. I'll start, all I wanna say is, if I see one more of these God for Saking burning hellbound, Migos AI orange booth videos, I'm gonna jump, I'm gonna fucking jump, I swear I'll do it. If I see one more you bitches stitched together, Barack and Michelle are characters from fucking fraggle rock or got to sponge Bob and Patrick, the inside out bitches, ghost face and Sydney. If one more you motherfuckers makes one of these AI videos, I am going to leap and no one will stop me. So you mean to tell me we're burning, what is like a gallon of water per video? How much electricity, I don't even understand what's funny about it. I don't even get why it's funny. - And most of them don't even, the dance is not hard, just do it. Just recreate the thing. - Dry stuff like the one piece characters and just do it. It's not even like they're doing it in the South of France or in an infinity pool with some shit like that. You have a green screen built into your take talk of shit like that. Make the background orange, do a little dumbass dance. Why are we doing this? Fresh water just tossed onto a data center. So what? You can see characters from power dance to megos. - Is the people doing it with themselves that really blow me? Girl, go make the fucking video. - I don't even, I don't understand what's funny about it. - No, it's all bad, it is, it's all bad. - I just, I don't understand where the train came from. I don't know why y'all laugh it, why y'all like it. And it's like, you know, I think about scientists, meteorologists, environmentalists who for like the past 20 years have not, they haven't even been saying, hey, you know, we have to do things to fix the, you know, climate crisis and this other, they're saying we are already fucked. All we can do at this point is possibly slow down the inevitable. And we as a species have said, why do we hit fast? (laughing) So we can see what we look like as crack babies and rappers, fuck y'all. I don't have anything else to say because I feel like I'm actually getting agitated the more I speak about it. Like fuck y'all, it is, it is, but it's not funny, it's never creative, it's never good, why are we doing it? - But what if they wanna see Mitch McConnell and the Grim Reaper do it? But what if, what? Oh my God, do you know what happened to Kevin on stage? Somebody did AI with his dead brother in it, put like a AI of his dead brother, no, no, lying. - No, they are using people, and somebody else, that same megos video, somebody did that with Nolan Wells and his mama. And then was like, it's the show support and blah, blah, blah. Bitch, are you out of your fucking gourd? - I'm just, those people should be shot. - I'm not like, my dad relative that you didn't know, you don't know him or me. You put AI of Kevin at his grief sucks tour, had a AI of his brother as an angel hugging him from behind. Bitch, the urge to block you would be so overwhelming. - Oh, y'all don't have no sense. - Hmm, hmm, hmm, okay, so got, are you okay? - Any day now, any day now, that flipped me. - Yeah, yeah, that Nolan Wells video, I was disgusted. And that bitch, when I tell you she was arguing all day about how it wasn't nothing wrong with it. And she's not crossing no boundaries. And what do you think? - Oh, what's it? - Grounds, you dumb ass bitch. You don't know them, you don't know their family. You don't like, you are not in the position to tell anybody that there was nothing wrong with it stupid. What the, a chat GPT down, put whatever the fuck y'all using. I don't even know all the apps, put 'em down. - I'm so glad that I grew up in an era where we, not only do we like playing outside, we needed it. It was like, oh my God, can we go outside? - Please. - Time to summer and shit, like, my favorite thing was to climb my grandma's trees. So bad that when a hurricane, I was like, I think I was in college by this time. Hurricane knocked over like my grandmother's biggest tree in her backyard. We had like a vigil. I was heartbroken. I was like, yeah. - I remember being a baby and climbing up in his trees and just picking it, reading a book or something. Like, what's the boy name from Whitty to Poo? - Peter? Wait, no Christopher. - No, I don't know. - Christopher Robin. Sit up a tree's reading books. - Yep. What a-- - I have a spot like that too. - Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep. - And the thing about it, a lot of you bitches doing this, you did too. - Shaw. - And what is, I'll say this then. I would rather you make this video with Moesha and Kim than people's dead relatives. - I didn't know it could get worse. - We're fucked anyways. - You didn't know it could get worse. - We're fucked anyway. I really did not. You chopped me with it. (laughing) I would actively pursue your death. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. Or at the very least somebody to beat the shit out of you. - Don't. - You're getting packed out on my time. - Ever, right. - Are you stupid? - Yeah, they are. - Yeah, I don't know why I'm asking. Some of y'all bitches are actually fucking slow. - 'Cause what would even make you think to it in all of my days I've never thought, why don't I look up pictures of Kevon Stage's dead brother and run it through AI and then post the picture and tag him in and be like, "Here's something for you." Like, did you think you were doing something sweet? What, oh my God. - And this is why ChatGPZ has to stop fucking over artists in the first place. 'Cause you know what you do with that? You make an airbrush t-shirt, you make a mirror, you make a little acrylic painting, you go down to the show, you say, "Hey, I made this for you." And possibly that person is very grateful and receptive to it. 'Cause even in a situation like that, you know, you could present a painting or something like that to someone like Kevon Stage and just break their heart or something or just put them in a place they're not prepared to. You have to eat that. - Yeah, you do, you do. - But I guarantee you, I can tell you a single fucking thing that no grieving person or even someone who knows a person that's grieving and cares about them wants to see your fuck ass AI, Migos, whatever the fuck videos it is that she making. - Nolan Wells, the same baby that we just found out, well, not just found, I mean, we knew that he didn't drown, but now the autopsy's like, "Oh yeah, lungs with no water and no debris," meaning he did not drown them white boys killed him and throw his ass in the water like we knew. You thought that same day was a good time for you to run that bullshit through AI and post it on. This, I just don't even understand how that thought occurred to you. I would have never even thought to do that.
the ballroom idea was better than that and that's low and that is I'm done I said it's gonna be short well you didn't know you didn't know they were using other people's dead relatives so you know I had to what the fuck is wrong with y'all if you bitches make an AI video of Link oh you mean after she passes yeah oh no don't do that y'all gonna get you might get the worst cussing out and read history if you do some shit like that don't go I'm telling you now don't do it actually I already know that just because I said that somebody stupid is gonna be stupid enough to do it whatever I have a lot of of Link art here anywhere I just want y'all to know imagine me saying that and then we talk about you doing to somebody's living yeah relative right brother says the son daughter cousin aunt mom where has the text so where has the kuth gone is anybody like your mama's dead right your mama dies I'm like bummer and I send you a video of her getting up out the casket and flying away I wouldn't be able to block you fast enough I wouldn't be able to block it first of all that would devastate me but I probably wouldn't even let you know it I just would have to I right there's no way I could block you quickly enough for me don't I would have I would turn off the ability to tag me because y'all have lost your fucking minds man it's not even good like none of it is like oh this was I understand why this was so compelling why you were so tempted to waste all of our natural resources to make this it's all not only wasteful I don't get it I don't understand why you're making a an AI video of a kitten doing the scuba dance I don't know either I don't know why you think that's funny but all right just like if god cracks open the earth I'm diving in a castle yeah no I know you can't wait you can't wait you want to happen so bad it's just like what is taking so long when california breaks off and starts floating in the ocean you'll be the one bitch not trying to keep telling me the first one into a ravine this is not funny that's not funny I'm just saying like this is how y'all make me feel yeah I can't even make sense of it what is funny about this beagles clip I guess it's just putting these different characters into some doing some hood dance some that's a little bob like anybody can you could oh my god you could just leave you could just leave it alone you could just not do it you could go to any baby birthday party in Miami day county you go to Times Square you could draw it why don't you draw it why don't you use your brain and your fingers and your body and your muscles yeah why don't you draw it why don't you take a pin and paper and create something you're damn self it's people who don't create nothing who think there's no problem with AI that's true yeah I remember drawing cuz I got two or three sketch pads at home right now crayons and markers and color pencils and paint and all kind of shit just to express myself and it's terrible art and I don't care because it's for me to do something right now yes all kinds of things have the pen for the iPad to oh yeah yeah I got that thing and I love coloring books I love even the iPad coloring book apps love that AI it just would have never occurred to me man whoo I thought that if anything by this time would have been you know we push a button on something and maybe get like a roast chicken dinner yeah I was expecting flying cars yeah the chance it's actually shocked we don't have this for the best when I really think about it it's for the bed y'all can't drive on the way out the bed yeah the number of crashes we would have in the air yeah it's for the best you have little robots name Stephanie that try around to get y'all McDonald's we do we do have them little bots and and we have these AI chatbots that y'all be creating insane connections too but um okay are you is that it for you okay so last night was one of the best nights of my life I mean it's it's up there man it is up there it's up there it's it's like top 15 um the New York Liberty did exactly what they were supposed to do Chris the Marco bitch your mark safe for now for now but we'll see what happens next round um however while I was having the time of my life at barclays Ellie was pussy popping on young and met young and made was our halftime performer Ellie out there talking about heff and he had a great time um while that was happening though it was absolute chaos in Indiana now I'm sure you know but I'll explain if everybody else the aces and the fever had game two of round one of the playoffs uh aces put belt to ass and game one in Vegas so game two was in Indiana um and when I got to our game at barclays I was checking the ESPN app so when I said down I'd tell my home girl like oh girl I don't know what's going on but I think the fever fender win this game and she was like what and I was like y'all I got by 10 and it's only 30 seconds left like this is crazy because nobody thought the fever we definitely did not think the fever was going win came to however I did not realize that absolute fuckery was unfolding in Indiana but I should have known because the Indiana fever have the worst fan base in the WMBA and it's not close and it's because of Caitlin Clark and Sophie cutting him yeah the fans Indiana fans and if you are a real Indiana fan then please don't even pipe up because you know I'm not talking to you you know I'm talking to the right the people who are there for Sophie and Caitlin are not there for basketball they're there for what Sophie and Caitlin represent for them represent yeah which is racism homophobia transphobia massage and war etc etc etc yeah they're not there for basketball so they are place of the real fan yes right so they are truly terrible fans I think most of the league does not like to play there even after the game Becky Hammond in the post game presser was like it's always some shit going on and it seemed to be going on here like it's always when we come here that some shit is going on so it was the fourth quarter asia Wilson it's crazy because asia Wilson had like a double double it was like 18 points and probably 10 or 11 rebounds and it was like oh slow night for asia you know because when you're because when the standard of greatness is that high true they were like oh huh thought you don't have a 30 30 piece like so but anyway a slightly off night for asia but whatever the game probably had four or five minutes left in it when I got home I had to go watch it because I was like what the fuck happened asia fouled Sophie kind of him well I think if they could have they would have there was a white man sitting not court side but maybe two or three rows back from the baseline who got up he was already standing up in the aisle and when asia fouled Sophie he started pointing at asia and said something now I assumed he must have said like he must have called her eight he must have made you know he but a nigger I thought he had you know made monkey noises and her or something because asia that man pointed his finger and started walk and took a couple of steps towards the court and was screaming whatever at her I guess he was saying that's on you but regardless when asia saw that finger point and him moving towards the court she got pissed and I mean you could see it in her eyes it was like a switch flipped she was so angry and so she walked towards that man and was like I don't know who the fuck you point at like bitch you not finna treat me like this blah blah so of course the whole asus bitch come over to separate asia from this man they didn't have no physical contact but asia got a technical foul for that for stepping off the court and confronting that man who pointed at her and said whatever he said to her I also saw a video of Sidney Colson and Teresa plays on its being escorted away from um from the game I think they were sitting courtside too which makes me wonder like was Sidney standing up for that man like I don't know with the whole details of what happened there but it was messy and this happens at fever games because they have the worst fans in the league. Every other team has a massive fan base that rides hard for the players and yet we don't we don't deliberately provoke and
antagonize and thoroughly disrespect other play like there is a level of respect that we have for most of the other players in the league we don't cross lines with them because ultimately I think most of us know that while we are fans of the game these people are the professionals most of them have played together you know in some other capacity high school college whatever teams are not set in stone you get moved around to different teams different leagues are unrivaled AU overseas whatever you know so they're not their competitors but they don't hate each other the way we hate like Katelyn for right child the narrative online and I mean from a lot of sports talking heads but then also a lot of fever fans is that Asia overreacted and Asia shouldn't have did all that and fans are always gonna have something to say so you need to learn how to ignore it and this is this blah blah to that I say first of all all that happened was Asia stepped off the court yes technically a player is not supposed to do that so she got a technical foul it was one that's one point if they make it which I don't think the fever even did make that shot so it's not like this was a mistake that costs the ACE is the game you know like the fever did turn up a defense and so they're heading back to to Vegas for a game three but it's not like what Asia did affected the outcome of the game in any way so I wouldn't even call it overreacting what I think happened is that these white races have figured out since Sophie Cunningham did that point and shit earlier in the season they figured out that black people don't like for white people to point at them they know we don't like that shit and so now they're doing it on purpose to get under our skin to antagonize us and as a trigger the fuck out of us and it worked make sense to me because they took that man to the side about white when they realized that that man I guess didn't say any racial slurs and didn't step onto the court they let him go right back to his seat so he didn't have no kind of punishment for intentionally pissing Asia off like that and Asia even said in the in the post game like you don't have to like me you could hate me with all your heart but you don't know me so this the the point in fingers and take a steps towards the court is unacceptable it's inexcusable like the fans here need to learn how to fucking act basically I don't understand why y'all are acting like Asia should have to just sit back and take all manners of disrespect that you know the fever fans are dishing out as opposed to the fever fans acting like they have a goddamn conscience how about y'all act like you have a soul how about you act like these are human beings who have earned a way here and you are supposed to be a spectator you are supposed to be enjoying yourself cheering for your team booing for the other team when they do some crazy like if the root if the rookie of the year decide to smack the shit out of your MVP we we gonna boot a fuck out of you but all this extra is deliberate you're doing it on purpose they know it pisses us off and so they're going to do it why is it that we always have to take it on the chin and turn the other cheek and pretend like y'all not being dickheads as opposed to y'all not acting like dickheads no more becky Hammond had coach of the ace that said I've never seen Aguils and go like that me either I can tell you she felt very disrespectful that moment I've never seen her really react like that same same that's what I said I've that's why I was like what did this man say to her I didn't realize that he had been pointing and taking steps toward the court I thought he had just said something because again I'm at Barclays bitch I'm locked in on what we're doing so I've never seen Asia react to something like that and I'm sure she won't do it again I'm sure now she's like okay damn that definitely did trigger the fuck out of me and I got to be careful because they're going to try to piss me off because these are terrible people right and they don't actually even though she has done so much she is a future Hall of Famer guaranteed she's probably been to pick up her fifth MVP she already has is it three or four championships Asia Wilson is one of one to disrespect her like that shows me that you don't give a fuck at all about the game you are there to let your racism out you are there to let your hatred of black women out that's what you're there for so to everybody no I was just going to to wrap it up by saying for everybody who thinks that it should be on on us constantly to have to put up with they nonsense I just would I would urge you to consider that we are still humans yes she is a professional basketball player yes you know that it is very much outlined in the rules that players cannot step off the court to engage with a fan or whatever like obviously but can you can we consider the fact that this is a human being who is being deliberately antagonized and that there are so many players league wide who have talked about the issues with the Indiana fever fan base it's a problem there every time I told you on this very program I don't even like going to Liberty Games at barclays when we're playing the fever because those are the worst people in the world they are so fucking it irritating it's not about basketball I hate when white people will be trying to like antagonize us also so that they can get a specific reaction yeah see yeah see how they are yeah yeah they are especially when they know ultimately anybody go do shit about it just like they do nothing about to this man you got to go see his ass right back down right again the game was not on the line this did not affect the outcome of the game in any way so now I'm not going to say oh well as you should have done this as you should have done that as you was provoked intentionally and they're going to do it again and again and again and with that much pressure on you I can understand popping I can I really can get it why people have taken me to that level of anger without do it half as much right and we're talking you're we're not talking about playing a professional sport live in person right right on a court if it takes me away from me right loud truck people right right right so pardon me if you and your racism decide that you go try and stay up a little girl me right like you can't get get got together again Dewana Bonner left that team for a reason Sidney Colson was there like I said Sidney Colson and TP got walked out of the game Sidney Colson played for the fever last year they have no respect for her as somebody who was just on that squad a year ago because it's not about basketball yeah the whole league every other team is like yeah some fucked up is going on in indiana something fucked up is going on with the fever fans and then the league is just like oh well you know why because those racists ask why people have money because they spend big money and they travel and spend big money and so the league is not going to do shit about it as long as you don't break their their rules by exactly you know by the letter by the book as long as you don't do that you can be as horrible of a person as you want to you're right and you don't understand why somebody could snap under those circumstances so do you know black women are humans where cost to cost the cute little oh they absolutely did for sure they did and so you're right league is like I didn't see anyone stand up is that well he didn't call her a nigger and he didn't touch the court so technically no rules were but the fever literally put out a statement that said we talk to the fan and some witnesses we determine no rules were broken the matter is closed I bet it is the indiana fever are never going to tell their fans to stop acting like that right so that's why I just I mean I've been locked in with the liberty for a long time but I am so grateful because if if the majority of the liberty fans acted like that it would be difficult for me to call myself a liberty fan knowing that that's how y'all treat other people that's fair I don't even want to be associated with no assholes like that so again if the game was if if the game is on the line let's say game three is super close which I don't think it will be I think Asia I think the whole squad is going to be so amplified from behind what happened that they are going to whip the ever loving fuck out of them girls when they play in Vegas again I do believe that but if the game is on the line if it's close and fever fans who again travel because they have money and they don't have nothing else to do if somebody tries to antagonize Asia I'm sure
sure that won't happen again, but I can understand why it did this time. Leave my girl alone. Just a little understanding for the humanity of black women in high pressure situations, that would be great. Especially considering that man didn't even get a slap on the wrist. They talked to him for a few minutes. He went right back to his seat and joined the rest of the game, right. So probably apologize, give him a free glizzy. Sorry, sorry, we had to take you away from the game for a while, right? Here goes some coupons, 50% off at the concession stand at the next game or whatever. If there is a next game, I hope the the fever season ends this week. I really do because please God, I anyway, anyway, horrible people up there and a stunning lack of understanding for what Asia may have been experiencing. Asia girl, you're not on my team, but I see greatness when I see it. And I will never deny your power, your beauty, your talent, the incredible level of skill that you have. None of them bitches on the fever can touch you and they all know that. So I hope you're well, sis. And I expect to see you in all black. I expect to see Asia in all black with that hair tied back for the ton of walk through tomorrow, job. I know she is fucking over it. And that's it for me.
