Jackson Mahomes and The Bananathon: Wednesday, October 7th, 2026
68m 53s
The episode features a mix of personal reflections, show recaps, and promotional content. The show is transitioning to a new format centered on "Dancing with the Stars," with deep dives into performances, viewer reactions, and behind-the-scenes dynamics. A major topic is the confusion surrounding the Golden Globe nomination, with the hosts clarifying that while they are being considered, the official status remains uncertain and many fans are misinformed. The Dancing with the Stars recap highlights Mora and Mark’s standout performance, which earned the highest scores, while Sierra’s elimination sparks debate over fairness and social media influence. The hosts note that viewer emotions are heavily shaped by personal connections, such as Tyler’s heartfelt moment with his mother, and by public visibility on platforms like TikTok. There are concerns about network bias, especially in favoring established names like Guillermo, and the elimination of less-recognized contestants like Sierra, despite strong audience sentiment. The team also reflects on the emotional weight of recent global events, particularly October 7, and shares personal strategies for coping, including preparing for emergencies. Promotional segments highlight products from G.U. Skin, Game Time, Little Spoon, Robac, and The Absorption Company, all tied to themes of comfort, wellness, and resilience. The episode concludes with a tone of both celebration and critical reflection, emphasizing emotional authenticity and the power of community in media consumption.

Like I played my whole night around. - And then after 10 o'clock, I had to read the tweets. - Of course. - I even used my buffer 20 minutes to finish my other show. I really only need 20 minutes, but then it was 10.30 and that's a wrap. - Watching Dancing with the Stars, now kind of reminds me of how I used to watch The Bachelor. Where it was this global event. I think I was doing some admin on my computer. - And it was this last week, but I'm looking forward to the one hour episodes if that comes at some point. - I think the dances get longer because now I'm watching old dances. Who did I just watch? I just watch an amazing dance. I didn't know either of the two people who wrote or the star. I think it was an athlete. And the dance was really long. And I think that's what happens with Freak. - As it gets, they get to like final four. The dances get really long, then they do two dances. Anything else you want to talk about before we just like do what we got to do? - Not much. Today's the third anniversary of actual wristband. - Oh my God, thank you so much for bringing that up. - It's a shit day. However, like on the Jewish calendar, it's like it happened on Simhastora. So like Simhastora was a few days ago. So like the anniversary has been just like this week in general. It also feels like 9/11, like a lot of content leading up. So I feel like I've been processing a lot so it doesn't feel like just today and then like it ends tomorrow 'cause it really never ends. - I was also thinking about like nine, like of this as 9/11, just 'cause like when you're like planning an event or something and you see somethings on 9/11, you're like gonna avoid that date. It's like an Israeli spy. - Rilla, people loved it. - People have loved it for years. I think it's really well done. And like everyone talks about it. I think people who hate Israel even like-- - You know, it's like a very, very popular show about like Middle Eastern, like a geopolitical, very spimoside. - Security guys. - Yes, I know that. Which is like good stuff. You know, a classical of yasha. - Yeah, and it's not like inherently political. So people really like it. - Yeah, and I think-- - We did this season. - This season, they are up to October 7th. And so they cover October 7th. And what I've heard, they've done a really good job with it. And I think also in the last few seasons, you can see how their perspective has sort of changed since October 7th. And some of the stuff that they were doing in the first few seasons, like just isn't happening anymore. - I cannot bring myself to watch. I've heard it's like a very, very difficult episode of TV Watch. - Yeah, and also the show, like I don't watch a lot of TV like that in general. So like I don't watch the show. - Do you watch a Blacklist? - No, right, right. 'Cause I'm not Olivia. - Yeah, right. - If you're looking for something to watch, I've heard amazing reviews. - Me too. - And I recommend, especially if you want to like understand what happened that day. I'm not even like that pregnant to the point where I'm uncomfortable. It's just hot. Like I think I would be wearing a dress even if I wasn't pregnant. But I feel that if I have like an extra sort of like pep in my stab, a little flare, a little shinna sequa, it's because I'm wearing a dress. You probably can't tell, but. - I got dressed this morning and I just like, I'm so sick of this. - Getting dressed? - Like just, I don't know. I need some sort of like. - Makeover? - Not like just an energization. I feel like I've been on websites and for the first time, I'm like, I want to go to their look books. I want to be inspired by something. - You need a stylist. - Yeah, like I feel like I want to find like a style that I like, but I'm also sort of like 10 pounds away from like really wanting to do that. - To just wait. - So I'm just waiting. I love sweaters. I don't know why I'm just feeling like a little uninspired. - You're kind of like Josie at the mall, cardigans. - Always cardigans for me, but I don't know. I so I've been like, I've been looking for inspiration. I've been looking for inspo. - Well, you should follow some influencers. That's like a great way to expand your style. - Yeah. I mean, I follow a lot of-- - I mean, I do think you should start dressing like more slutty for sure. - No, I'm trying to think like my, I love like Molly Mae. That's like the style that I love, but that's like what I'm wearing. - And like has maybe done a drop recently? - I did search maybe drop recently. - You did. - And let me tell you why I didn't buy anything. - Oh, also did you get anything on Prime Day? - Yes, I got a vacuum. - Oh, so smart to buy a vacuum on Prime Day. - I bought a bunch of survival stuff. - Matches? - No, like, it all came in the mail and tried fruit. - It's actually like what?
is there's no, it was like they're one. I just got like a big first aid kit. That's just like a good thing to have. - Okay. - Yeah, it is. - It's like real from this influence or who was just like talking about like a couple of good things to have in them. - Hurricane preparedness. - Oh yeah, like a- - Judy, remember Judy? - Yeah, but this, I got something that was like a little radio that has a flashlight. - Oh, she's crazy. If I was Zach and I saw you opening that up too. - Wait, wait. - And I got- - Doomsday, what? - Doomsday. - Yeah, that's you. - And then this is the craziest in here. - Oh, not the radio, clock radio. - I got these things that are like these big, they almost look like big like hoses in their straws, and you basically can put them in any body of water and drain- - And they filter them. - And it filters- - I've seen those like reals. - So in case we ever need to drink some lake water. - Right. - We have potable water. - Well, that's so great for you. - I just like saw this influence. Just you made this video. Like good things to have in your house. - Yeah, I always see stuff like that and like I don't buy it. And then I click through their Amazon. I was like it's prime day. - Yeah, back in the day. - When everyone was doing those Judy preparedness kits, like I got one in gifting and I was like hey I'm sad. Like it's sad in my closet forever. A couple of years ago I did get rid of it. I do think they like expire at some point. And I don't have anything currently. - Yeah, it's just like good stuff to have. - I had a landline for many years. - Especially like here we have crazy weather. We do have hurricanes. We haven't had a hurricane this season, but in lieu of a hurricane we've had insane weather. And it's just always good to be prepared. - I got a TV. - I don't know, I was influenced. - I got a TV. - That's good. What a mind. - A Samsung frame, of course. - Right, that's why you texted me. And thank you so much for not responding. - I didn't wear it a five now. - I actually just can't stress how helpful it is when you do that. - Maybe it does have cute stuff. - What in doubt? - Maybe. - Interesting. - All right, let's dive into the past five, specifically the Dancing with the Stars Recap that I personally just can't wait to get to. - Okay. - Do you get anything else for prime day that you want to talk to? - No, but it's still not over today. So I still have other things to get. - Mm-hmm. - Yeah. - Anything else? - I didn't like sit down and do enough. Like I need to. - I know. When I see everyone posting all their slides, like they got prime day in hand, I'm like. - I know, I'm not. Some years I'm really on top of it and some years I'm not. And I'm sorry, I'm just not this year. - That's okay. - But I got a TB, I feel like that's good. - That's a great thing. And I got a vacuum. I feel like that. - But you know, I have like, conspiracy theories about prime day. - Of course, that they jack up the prices. - Over the course of the next, like looking at the few weeks leading up. - Like don't spoil that. - A dollar a day, they go up, up, up, up, up. And then boom look, it's $50 up. - It was $50 last week, you know? - It's like telling people Santa isn't real. Like don't ruin the magic. - Okay, now you're like working for Amazon and they're corporate greed. - No, I just like, I love, it's so festive, you know? - Yeah. - We're all scamming Americans, it's festive. I agree. - Oh no, the comedy is going. - I'm just hard-working, coachy. - Even though when I bought the TV, it was like a couple hundred dollars off and it was actually a lot off. And I'm like, I don't know, this is very unprime like. So I did some research with chat. I was like, how much does this TV cost? Chat swears that it wasn't marked up. So maybe like, this is just a theory. - And did you buy your frame yet? I know that old. - No, you know that kills me. You can't buy the frames on TV. You have to go more like artisan. - Did you get the hundred inch? - I got the 98. - Yeah, I might have a frame. - Oh wow. - You might not like it. It was like my placeholder frame. The one you saw, the gray, like. - Gray? - Like slate. - I am like allergic to gray. I think it's the ugliest color on the planet. - Yeah, slate though. - Slate gray or slate smiley? - This is not my slate. - I'll take a look. Thank you so much, it's very generous. - Like just trying to help out Bradley. - Oh my God, I'm so glad you brought up Bradley. You guys know Bradley, I'm about to get my favorite TikToker who like does frugal living, but he actually like just lives in filth. - Oh. - Well, you know there are theories that like his whole lifestyle on social media is completely fabricated and like everything he films in that disgusting apartment of his is like a set and he like lives in a normal house. - Tee, he's moving. I don't know where to, but he did a video. - Do you think he's still gonna be relatable? - Well, he's like the opposite and spectrum. Like while McKill and Gara is not relatable anymore 'cause she buys like, you know, $200,000 shopping sprees, Bradley on a budget is no longer relatable and he hasn't been ever since he started like saving napkins from takeout and using them as toilet paper. He does the most insane things ever. Jackie, here's a twin Excel mattress that like he stole from a college. - Well, theft is not okay. - No, that's still like, they were giving it away, you know, like he took it legally. - Sorry, but like it's a used college dorm twin Excel bed. Like the frame too. - That's better than you that sleeps on piece of cardboard. - I don't sleep on cardboard. I actually sleep on a $5,000 mattress. - No, no, no, but like your predecessor, the cardboard. - Yes. - He slept on a piece of cardboard. - Things that Bradley does that are like actually insane that like send people, is that he has one towel. - And sometimes it feels like I have one towel. - 100%, but you don't. And does your towel have a huge hole in it? And like yellow stains. - His towels are insane. - His towel is so insane. Yeah, but the thing about bronzers, that it's water-based, it always comes out. - Yeah. - Great hand comes out. - But doesn't it sometimes feel like you only have one towel? - Yeah, of course, literally, of course. And it's always wet. Like literally. - I have a hundred towels in this house. Why am I always using this one? - I use the same one every time. And it's always a little wet. Like, and I hang it up. I'm like, I'd not see about how I hang out my towels. Ben will like hang it up in a ball. And then it's wet and he's like, my towel smells. I'm like, well, you didn't hang it properly. Hanging is an art. I am crazy about how I hang my towels. It's always just a little wet, you know, and there's always just the one. - There's always a little bronzer. - I remember buying a thousand percent. - Where are my custom, weezy towels? I can't find them. - Bradley actually has, you have probably like 25 towels. He has one towel, one. And it's not even a whole one. It's like half because it has a huge hole in it. - You think people in there blanky? - It looks like someone's like stringy-ass, moldy-ass, crusty-ass blanky that like smells like an anus. Yeah. That's exactly what it looks like. - Does Bradley have a woman in his life? Bradley, no. Bradley, no. - There's a man. - Well, he doesn't actually have a man. But he is gay. And he does like only fans content, which he says like really makes it hard for him to. That's the thing about Bradley because he also was very transparent about his money. So he makes like six fingers a month. He is not poor. That's the thing. A lot of people think he has financial trauma. Um, he's not poor and so that's why it's very frustrating for people to see him acting like that. Like you literally aren't even poor. - Yeah. Or even like medium. Like you're wealthy. You're a wealthy man. - You're a wealthy man. You're one percent. And so he does only get content. - Is there any world in which like this is his persona online. He has his own-- - That's a new theory about Bradley. - And then he goes home to his estate. So people really have started to believe because it's becoming so not believable, especially when he shares his finances. Not only does he make so much money on social media, TikTok, creator, fun, things like that. He has the only fans business, but just extremely lucrative. - What does he do on all these things? - I've never checked it out. I don't know. Um, only-- - He shows bits and-- - I would assume. Yes. I would assume. Um, but he also has like eight other side jobs. He dog sits. His full-time job is like a marketing, something or ever. He volunteers on the crisis hotline. Um, you know, how sits-- - No, sorry. It's paid. Bradley just doesn't volunteer. Sorry. No. Um, and he, um, like how sits. He does like a lot of like side gigs. So he makes like well over a hundred grand a month. - Wow. - Yeah. So a lot of people have started to think that like it's so not believable that you would live in-- Jackie, this place you would die. Like his one pan. It would send you like the Teflon chemicals. It would send you into a coma if you saw Bradley's pan. I'm going to start downloading it. - It's not on toxic. - No. It's not on toxic. It's not caraway. - That's disappointing. - Yeah. Um, so you're obviously like joining the Bradley Bendy Stas. That's what we call our cell. - I appreciate the recaps from you. Much like friends. I don't want to watch it firsthand. - No, I think you actually do. Like I don't feel like you fully understand like the level of filth. You have a shout? - Oh, wow. - Oh, right now. - So I'll let you know if it peaks my interest. - Oh, and you know what he calls his fans? - The Bradley notes. - You're going to love this. - Oh, crap. - But I went to search on TikTok Bradley on a budget. And the first thing is Bradley on a budget. Bentley. They think he has a belly. All right. This is his frugal apartment tour. You should watch that one, okay? - Okay. - Blue shirt to have it. - I didn't even know what he looks like. - He's handsome. - He's handsome. - I love to live as cheap as possible. - Okay. This is not what I was expecting. - We're seeing him in this economy is stupid. So these are all the things in my par man. Someone who's frugal, that just makes sense. I didn't have to buy most of the furniture in my par man. I found it for free either on the side of the road or if people were throwing things out or giving things away, I said, I will gladly take it, including this college door. - How do you pause? - Top grammar. - Top grammar. - Okay. His caption is financial trauma taught me well, ha ha. - Oh, because he knows the joke. - He knows the theories. - To also under my bed, I keep a regift bin of things I've collected over the years. It's not just things I've been gifted. Like I got this when I taught budgeting class, found this Louis Vuitton box on the ground when I was in New York City. And this is a way I make-- - But why do you need an empty Louis Vuitton box? - It's a billow. - No, it's tiny. - Oh. - It's like you wear a keychain. - I think that like he would maybe one day like put a gift for someone else in that box, you know? It wouldn't be Louis Vuitton. - It would be just a box. - Yeah, right, right. It would be just a box. - I would love to know what Martha Stewart thinks about this. - Oh, you're done? - Yeah, I'm done. - You didn't even get to the toilet paper napkins part, like that's the craziest thing. And the towel. But then we just find the towel. I need you to see this towel. - Right. - Here, I'll turn the volume down. You talk and I'm going to find the towel. - Oh, you're going to find the towel. Joy. What a treat for me. - Yeah. - Oh, oh, here. Okay, so this drawer. - I eat the same food every single day. - If you open this random drawer, it holds all of my toilet paper scraps. And of course, my sponges cut in half because it helps me extend the life of the If you need to throw something out, you're gonna die.
He's a good tip. - On trash bags, I've always used these paper towels. - Of course, everyone does that. - Everyone does that. - I've used them for none of my silverware matches. I got this bundle from a tag sale shortly after I moved it. I don't remember how to buy paper towels because anytime I use paper towels, I just let them dry and I reuse them. I'm sure people-- - He drives his paper towels. - He should get reusable paper towels. And I'm sure like brand-- - We used to have a sponsor sending him so much stuff. I don't believe it. - Oh, okay, so you're, oh, and then tell you what he calls his fans. - We're the budget baddies. - Which would be braddies. - Totally. Now he's been getting a lot of hate and sending him a lot of love. - Are you? - Yeah. - I'm always wishing the best for Bradley. - You are. - Who's wishing the best for my fellow human being? Yes, I am. - That's beautiful. - Except for Robert Rajiv. - Stop. (laughing) - I feel like I have to love Robert Rajiv so much. - Shouldn't negate the hatred. - Even though, you know, I'm kind of like falling off of him. He's not really on my list so much anymore. - I know, but now it's just a running joke, but like he's a nice guy. - Yeah, I guess like Adam Levine is like new on my list. - Yeah, Pete Davidson. - He's like the president of the list. - Yeah, that works for me. - Name a two. - Let's get into the Fast Five Stories that yet I do need to know. - And speaking of Prime Day, the Fast Five Stories that you need to know are brought to you by G.U. Skin. And if you don't know, today is Prime Day. Our favorite cable beauty sponsor, G.U. has the best Prime deals on Amazon right now. So Jack and I are always talking about their viral toner pads. We love them and other sponsors, which is so exciting. - You guys, I'm about to look get carted. That's how young I look. And people are like, I feel like people are always commenting about my skin recently. And it's these pads. - So they help with dark spots, which I think a lot of people struggle with, especially through like the various stages of womanhood pregnancy. And you will actually like notice a visible difference. I use them in the morning. They're like freezing cold. They feel so good. I'm like a puffy face. - It's a great way to deep puff. You know, you're supposed to put your face in an ice bath. - No, just use these pads. - They have other products too, like the NAD plus moisturizer pairs really well with the toner pads. Last night was Mariah Carey night on Dancing With The Stars. I didn't know that was a theme, but I liked it. - Amazing theme. - Hot break, you got the best of me. - And I feel like you could really tell who the network is pulling for based on who got what song. - You mean because Amber Glenn got hero? - I was way there, no one gets a dance to hero. My personal favorite, Mariah Carey song, and I was like, I wonder if someone's gonna dance to the Christmas song. You could really-- - I'm gonna shut up. - Someone shut up. Yermo got a great song, a baby like got a great song. Some people, I was like, oh, you're going home, because what the hell is this song? I never heard of it before. - But I wasn't really thinking so much about the songs, and I wasn't even thinking about Mariah Carey and what I wanted to hear. - They reminded me of Wicked Night last week. Last year, 'cause you could so tell, whoever got to find gravity and popular, were the favorites. - No, but it's also what you make of it. - Yeah, it's so personal. - You know, 'cause I could think of bad dance to obsessed, like, so, oh, oh, it's not even amazing song to dance with. - But it's the most popular. - But Guillermo crush it. - But it's also, it's easier for people to like your dance when they know and like your song. Do you know what I mean? That's why I felt like Yacht Rock was so boring. Like, have the songs, I was like, okay, this song sucks, or I don't know it. - Yeah, well, she got hero, and again, what did I feel? Very little. Even though that song is like, one of the most gorgeous songs ever written. - It's true. - She talked about it in her memoir. I really became like an anthem after 9/11. Oh my god.
- You're talking about Amber Glanda, like you love her memoirs. (laughing) - Oh my god, he's memoirs. - Oh my god, you didn't know that. - Yes, he like thing it, chills. - Like a 9/11 tribute. - What she did in Derek Jeter at the time. - There was something about the time reminds me of Derek Jeter. So he was there somewhere. - Oh, that's like iconic. - And the song just like is a huge song. - It's so beautiful. - Mm-hmm. - It is one of the most beautiful. I of course think of the Fifth Harmony cover on X Factor. It's a beautiful tribute. - Yeah, like it's kind of like the climb, I feel. - Yes, boomer climb, boomer climb. - I'm gonna whip out our group chat from last night just because I kept like, I can never remember what I think of. - But we're gonna go in order of the dances. - Yes, exactly. And when we were all watching live, we were like writing to each other what we thought. And I just wanna refresh myself on my thoughts. - So first up, we had Sierra and Brandon. They danced. - Oh, they were first. - They were first. - That's crazy to go home 'cause you get the most time to like garner votes on social media. - They danced to, and people started the episode late. They still get to vote for their dance. They danced to emotions. They did some jazz and she got 3/7, so a 21 out of 30. - Now, I was so surprised by her dance. And then when I saw Tatiana's, I was a little bit less surprised. I don't know if like the jazz, 'cause Tatiana's was also jazz. And it felt like such a basic dance that I was like a couple pot of rays. - It was like something we did at camp, like for real, like on the dance team. And I was thinking to myself like, the fact that Mora's like B&E's Waltz, which is like so technical, they spent the same amount of time every day this week, like working on the same dance. And I just thought the brand new one, I thought Tatiana's was actually a lot better, but even I just felt like jazz is like very basic. I thought his choreography was so poor, and he really did her a disservice in like not challenging her even a little bit. - I think also there wasn't a lot of choreography. What I'm starting to notice, and I feel like sometimes the judges say this is like, you could tell when there's like a long pass in the corner and a corner and they track down and that's like the steps. But there's also a lot of sticky stuff. Like, you know, and I feel like Sarah Siance was so much stick, whatever like technical things that they had to hit, there wasn't a lot of it. - Agreed. - Meanwhile, other couples that are more advanced, like Mora and Mark, like they're doing choreography the whole time. - Agreed. It was not sophisticated the dance at all, and I feel like she wasn't challenged, like even a little bit. And I think maybe if she hadn't gone first, her scores would have been much lower. - Yes. - Because then when other people-- - Amber Glenn got a seven. - Right. - Like what? - It was, so I thought the, so then I was like, is she gonna go home? And I think a lot of people were surprised that she was the one who went home because she got all sevens, but I think if she hadn't gone first, like her scores would have been much lower. Only because like, it's not a high scoring dance. Like you don't get points for-- - Yeah, it's not when you do a gymnastics routine, but it only has so much difficulty level. - Correct. - And only go so high. - And people are really upset that she went home. And the thing is is that maybe it was a little early for her to go home, but I feel like of the people who were in the pot to go home last night. I thought it was given last week based on scores. - Given those seasons so far. - Tyler Fabula, who both stepped there, put these up really well last night too. They were really not eligible. Jackson and Guillermo. Now, Guillermo, I'm sorry, he gets so many votes. He's an ABC employee. People, you can be mad all you want. He's not going home for a little bit. He's obviously not winning. - I want to say, I don't think this show is weighted at all. Maybe except for the winner of the mirror ball. But I think on nights like that, last night, even if they were trying to tip the scales, they can't, they don't really, really go by the votes because I think they want Guillermo to go home. I think that-- - It's disruptive. - It is disruptive. And other contestants are mad and fans are mad when they think it's like pity votes. And so everyone voting for Guillermo when he's getting fours is not what they want, but I really think went into out just like let the vote, like they really shouldn't fix it at all because who should go home? - Really who should go home? - So based on last night, given I know the fact that so many people voted for Guillermo, it really was Jackson or Sierra. Now, it could have been either of them. And next week it will be Jackson. And if it was Jackson this week, it might have been Sierra next week. So I'm not like that upset because-- - It was Tyler, if Tyler slips-- - Yes, he's probably going home. - Maybe the two. So there were like a couple of people who were up for grabs last night and she was one of them. Also, and you know, I was thinking about this like added glance today. You know, you really pull out every trick in the book when you're on Dancing with the Stars, you bring all of your famous friends. There was that one summer house kid person who came to the show to support. I didn't see a lot of like her castmates on social media. That social media carries a lot of currency. I feel like also with the network, like when you're turning out those TikToks, like making a lot of conversation on social media, good and bad, it's ultimately good for the network. Like they really like to reward that type of behavior. I didn't see a lot of Sierra and Brandon's TikToks on my, and I've seen everything. So I feel like they didn't have a huge impact on social media and I feel like she didn't get a lot of support from her like Bravo family, like all the people who were like so happy like, you know, make the command of all thing about them being like, I coming out like Vanita, like I love Sierra, like where are you? Like literally not one person from Bravo came. Shout out to Justin Sylvester for being there for her last night. Like where was literally everyone? - I don't know and didn't Jessie Salman just buy a house in LA? - Yeah, he did actually think of what you were doing there. I don't know, so it's like, it's obviously about the dances, but it's so much, and I do think like that social media frenzy like really impacts how people vote for you. - Yeah, I think it's also about like your story, and I'm surprised that they're, that she didn't get more votes 'cause ultimately I think that's what it came down to. Her scores were comparable. - Yes, great, it was votes. - It was at the bottom and so like where were the votes? - Because a lot of that is like with the hype you bring. - Yeah, I guess so. Also, I do think about like the network, who they want, and I do think when it comes to the mirror ball, like they have their favorites, like Robert Irwin, I don't think he was the winner. - But you don't think that like, 'cause the three people who were up for at least in my mind for going home with Jackson, who's being plugged for this banana thought. - Now I understand my Jackson's on the show. - Jackson will be home next week. - No, but the banana bowl is on Saturday on Disney+. Which is why Jackson Moms was cast. - Yes, to promote this banana thought. - She has no home so brother. - Yes. - So that's what bananas have to do with ABC. The banana bowl, which is the Jackson bananas first, another team of singing the first streamed banana game. - Let me tell you I'm watching with my kids. - A thousand percent. - Yeah, the banana bowl is streamed on Disney+. He's on Saturday, so next week they can't even promote the banana bowl anymore. - And he will be going home next week. Guillermo lives to see it up again. - I think he could have gone home this week. If it really is someone pulling the strings based on relevancy. - He could have, yes he could. - And ABC contract. - But it's a little bit more convenient for him to go to home next week. - You think so why? - Because then the banana bowl has an active dancing with the stars cast made on it. Like it's more exciting. - Okay, fine. - But Guillermo is a legacy to ABC employee. I know you think it's not tipped and I actually agree with you, like the Guillermo has become sort of an inconvenience for the network. - Hey, see he's a thorn in their side. - But like, you know, Sierra is this like NBC person. - She's an eight, yeah, NBC. She's like a competitor. I don't think the network has really any reason to sort of prop her up. And so maybe that's why. I also, I think she just didn't have a lot of-- - You could say the same thing for Tyler though. - Yes, absolutely. But Tyler did a very good job last night. - And you could say the same thing for 50. - And also Tyler got me crying. Like Tyler, whenever he talks about his mom, it makes me so emotional. Like he loves her so much. And like when he was talking about her, I literally started crying, it was so sweet. So like I said, it's a lot of things. It's social media. It's your package. How do you make this? - And I guess like when we think about like the fans voting, the ABC connection, the packages packaging, like Sierra didn't have, and the dances-- - And by the way, Tyler is ABC. He's a bachelor. That's right. - He doesn't, he's not in a concert. - I know, but he's, you know, he's an old school like ABC. - He's not in a concert. I guess he does, um. - He does HGTV. - He does that show. They're redoing the bachelor mansion. - That's HGTV, right? - That's not already. - With Tisha. - Five years ago. - Yeah. - Nevermind. - Okay. - Bring it back. - So yeah, so I guess, you know, it was gonna be one of these pool of people who are going home. And I think it was, I do think it was honest. - Yeah, I know, and I know people are really upset. - But, surprising. - Same with last week, like people were really upset. And it's like, well, we could hold space for both truths. Like that's our girl, but also like, seriously, who else? - Yeah, and especially last night. The other person was Jackson. So it's like seriously a coin to us. - Yeah, and exactly. - And it will be Jackson next week, like by, and it was also his birthday. So. - Then we had Ezra Frech ending-Ella Caragache. - That's Ezra Frech. - He's really handsome. - My god, he looked so hot last night. Is he straight or gay? I couldn't tell. I feel like he's straight. I'm in love with him. He's obviously winning. Like, it's so, it's not even a question to me. When I think about the top four, I think about Ezra, Mora, maybe like a Harry Shummer agenda. - Or Jenna Nopbo. - Yeah, no, just one of them. And who else is like dazzling? - Guillermo. - Tatiana. - For me, it's Guillermo. - Whatever, he's so clear to the winner. Like, seriously, who cares who goes home when? Because like everyone can go home now. It's obviously Ezra. He is so coming into himself. And I cannot say enough positive things about him, his life, his journey, his challenges. Like, and Daniella. - I can't say enough positive things about Daniella. - I just adore them. - She's an insane pro. - Her body is insane. - Like the way that she's able to, she gets like, who would it even be like the most desirable male cast? We were just talking about this with Taylor Hanson. Who would you want and who would you not want? Like, it feels like her, for a partner. Whoever she gets, like, she wins the light on. - Yeah, absolutely. - And like really highlights their strength. - Absolutely. - So, they're amazing to watch. I absolutely love them. Then we had Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson. - And so as you guys know, like there's a list of three people on this show who make me feel nothing. Harry Shum Jr., Jenna Johnson and Amber Glen, the three people who are the best. And last week, Jenna-- - I'm gonna add a fourth to the list. - Who? - Julia Stiles. - Okay. Last week, Jenna Johnson graduated from the list because I actually felt like, I felt something when I watched her. Jenna Dwan. What did I say? Jenna Johnson, Jenna Dwan. And last night, with the cameo
of Mercedes Jones. I almost said Mercedes Javid. Mercedes Jones, Harry Shum Jr. graduated off the list. 'Cause when I was watching the dance, I felt nothing. And then at the end, when it was over and they cut to Amber Riley, former Dancing With the Stars champion, and Glee cast member. - She won the mirror ball? - Yes, with Derek Huff. - I didn't know that. - Yeah, so it was like a Glee dancing with the stars. That's exactly what I'm looking for. That's what I said about Sierra. Like, you bring your people. Yes, thank you, Harry Shum Jr. Whose ever idea was to have Amber Riley sing? Genius, tens, tens, tens across the board. I don't even remember his dance, I don't care. I don't remember his dance, I felt nothing. - Literally when I'm writing in our chat, I said, "Oh my God, Amber, I love that." Like, that's all I thought for Harry's whole dance. - What did I say? Oh, I said something about Harry, didn't I? What did I say? - Yeah, you said it. (laughing) I feel like. - They're acting like Harry Shum Jr. is a real doctor with how he has to run in and out of the ER. That is funny. - And it's like coming to set in scrubs. Like, they're seriously acting like he's a doctor. - It's true, and like in the parking lot of the hospital. - They're going to the hospital, not just the set of Grey's Anatomy. - Cracking up. - They did feel that way. (laughing) - Then they got 24 out of 30, so it's 3/8, great for them. Then Jenna Dewan and Val Schmerkowski. They went with a slower dance. They finally, you know, turned down the speed and she was able to express herself. - I'm not like really following like what everyone's saying. - No, I hear it. - She's so loud. - She heard it last week. She's so loud. - Get jam and break. - She's nuts. - And it's like, we're not feeling, that's why we're not feeling anything. She goes so hard. And it's just like, ha. And of course it's good dancing, but we're not feeling something. It's not emotive. - I'm back to not really caring about her. She's back. She's been demoted to the deligs. Like, I don't know why Karen was getting emotional. I'm like, what are we crying about? Like, I'm a little bit lost on her arc, you know? - Yeah, this was a good dance for her. - Sure. - She looked really amazing. She's and Harry are supposed to be like the Jordan fishers of the season. And I'm still not feeling that. - Also the fact that Harry Shum Jr. danced to a song that he was in the music video for just proves how he's like, really not eligible to be on the show. - I was just a professional dancer. - That's insane. - I didn't know that that's what happened. That's just a historical. Then Tyler Cameron and Sean Berges. - I just love that Tyler Cameron. And I feel like he really wants to prove himself. And I just love him. Like, I'm so biased when it comes to him. And I thought he did a really good job. And his dance like wasn't easy. Sometimes with the guys, like to give them easy stuff. So it's like a good job. You just stood there. No, I thought his dance was like technically difficult. He's improving. And that's all I'm personally looking for. - Yeah. And I think like he should make it. - A few more weeks. - To the end of like this, you know, major, 'cause there's a couple of people like in the bottom half. - Yes. - And I think he should make it through. - Me too. - In the bottom half. - A boring, you know, significant improvement. - Or like significant decline. Like the same falls or something. - Yeah. - And he, you know, ended the dance giving a rose to his lady. Love his fiancee. Tate, a lot of people think that was maybe, 'cause you know, last week when they were dancing, they like cut to Hannah Brown. - Okay. - And everyone was like talking on a disrespectful that was. And so I think maybe it was like, Tyler taking his power back to be like, this is my later. - Yeah, like put the camera on her. - Yeah, I give her a flower and a big kiss. - That's cute. - Yeah. - That's cute. - Very cute. - Then we have Mora Higgins and Mark Ballas. They scored a 25 out of 30, which was the highest score. - The first nine. - The first nine of the season. What did Amber get? - She got to 870. - Okay, so Mora and Mark had the highest scores of the night. They did a V&E's Waltz. It was very beautiful. It was insane. And that's when I was like, it was really, that's when it became kind of obvious to me that Sierra might be going home, just because like, these are two different dances. Like two different, the technical level is, and what Mora said about Mora is so true, she does have this like. - Untap talent. - Enate ability in just a dance. It was such a skilled dance. Like, I don't know what, if they do like difficulty scoring, like you said, like they do in gymnastics, her seemed so difficult. And she was so graceful. And she's a top performer in the audience for her was Lexi Wood. And Lexi Wood posted on social media at 10,000 times that she was there for @MoraHiggins. Like, I feel like she didn't want anyone to think that she was gonna be there for Sierra. 'Cause like, honestly. - I saw some like tweets being like, oh my god, crazy that Lexi's there for Mora and not Sierra. Like, why would she ever be there for Sierra? - No, it's crazy that she's there for Mora. Sure, how do you know each other? - How do you know each other? - No clue. In no world, would Lexi would ever fly across the country for Sierra? They barely talk. - They're like ops. - They are. She was like, her, the boy, she was, right, she's being one of the summer, we're flirting with Sierra. - The worst thing not friends, they were enemies. - 1,000% so, but I think Lexi just didn't want anyone to assume she kept being like, for Mora, and she posted a picture of her seat, which said like, Lexi Wood, Mora, friends of family. Like, she was just like, Mora, Mora. - I need to know how their friends, that's so-- - I know so random. - I like the friendship. - Me too. - Maybe just like gorgeous girls doing gourds. - They gravitate towards one another. It's obviously what happened with that. - Her dance was amazing. I thought what everyone was saying about her was like, so sweet. I also didn't realize that Bruno last week had said that she dances like Audrey Hepburn. - Yeah. - 'Cause I said that. - Oh, did you? - I said that like two weeks ago. - Ah. - Yeah. - I don't want you Hepburn dance. - No, like there's just something like a gracefulness. - Something Audrey Hepburn about her. I can't explain it. - Okay. - What was said in the chat? - You don't want to explain. - Oh, um, Lexi Wood there for Mora. She was friends and family, and you said, hmm. - Tidilating. - And then I said, her dance compared to Sierra's in terms of choreography. I was obviously onto something. - Obviously, they think were. - Well, in my text, like I am practicing for this, like I'm cultivating my-- - Oh, and oh, no, I'm just like, doing my thoughts to friends, like what else do people do? - Yeah. - Then Guillermo and Whitney. - And here's what I said. - What's up? So, Carrie, I gave Guillermo like-- - Oh, wait, we have to talk about the dance first. Guillermo and Whitney, they danced to obsess. They were in New York all week because Jimmy Kimmel was in New York, so Whitney was in New York with Guillermo. - Or you're all flying across the country. - Or girl. - And, you know, obsessed is like very much a diva anthem, so they channeled their inundated diva. - Paparazzi and autographs. - Oh, he was like giving-- - It was amazing. - His diva, he was serving-- - He continues to bring-- - He was serving us. - Everything we need him to bring. - Yes, and the dances continue to give us that spark of joy and that moment that we always need. - And then Carrie and I feel like maybe in an industry plant type of way is like planting seeds for Guillermo to go home because the whole point of Guillermo is that he brings joy. And then he's full of joy and he's fun to watch. And in his critiques, obviously, everyone was like, you didn't move your feet, whatever, like you stood there-- - You didn't, yeah. - Which is all done. - You played on the floor, all valid criticism. And then Carrie Anne was like, I don't know what's with you today. I just feel like you've lost your spark. Like you're not finding joy in this. And collectively, I think we all were like, what the fuck are you talking about? And here's what I wrote. You said they're coming for Guillermo. Oh my god, acting like he's not joyous. I said, what the fuck is Carrie Anne saying? She wouldn't know joy if it's spitter in the mouth. I'm like, are we okay? You said, I feel like she's trying to take away the thing that everyone loves about him. And be like, oh my god, Guillermo, you're not having fun. And then I said, yes, so it makes sense if they send him home. You said, Whitney's face is like, whoa. - Whitney says she's literally-- this was her face. - It's the most-- it's a shocking-- you can critique literally everything about Guillermo's performance except the joy. - Yeah, and also, maybe you missed the point, but he's serving Diva tonight. - And he said, I wrote down, and quote, being a Diva is hard. - Like, his whole thing was like, so what you missed took his bitch face for not having joy? The dance was full of joy. And for me, I won Guillermo to go all the way. Fine, maybe not the Marabal because Ezra deserves it or more deserves it. - No, he shouldn't even make the top four. - But the thing is, I come to this show for a lot of things and entertainment being one of them, and I can be an entertain by an amazing dance, Jordan Fisher's style. I can also be entertained by comedy and humor and good fun and love. - There are a lot of ways to skin a cat. - Guillermo is one of the most entertaining performers on the show. - That was 1%. - So I would say top three. Actually, yeah, I only vote for him and Ezra. - Yeah. - I don't vote for more yet because I don't feel like she needs me to vote she's sore the high. And I hate texting 10 times. I feel like-- - I hate voting. - I hate it. - I hate it. - Like, can I just write Ezra X10 and you get the point? - 100%. - No, you need my text message dollar. - Yeah, you do. - But once the competition stiffens up, I will be voting for more. - Yeah, I am like over-voting. I just vote for Guillermo 'cause-- - I vote for Guillermo 'cause he needs our votes. He lies on votes. - Right. - Powered by votes. - Yes. - And they vote for Ezra just because, like, my fingers can't help themselves. - I know, they just like sort of do their thing. - Like, I'm over-powered. Like, I have to make sure Ezra gets votes. Then, Savannah Manana is Jackson Olsen and I'm a slater. - He was like actually making me sad and I feel like part of the reason why maybe Sierra was the one to go home and not Jackson was because, like, you could feel his sadness radiating through the TV, like, he's gotten so much hate this week. All the prediction markets were saying, like, he's the one going home. It's his birthday and the fans have really, really turned on him on social media 'cause he made that, like, silly comment about Guillermo, like, it was so inoffensive. - And Guillermo freed him and they talked together. - Like, move on. - Yeah. - But the fans have just, like, decided they hate him now and he just looked so sad and broken and, like, honestly, I think he's of all of them, like we said, he's going back and forth from Savannah. I think he's, like, kind of not having fun anymore. And I just felt sad for him. So I think maybe he got, like, a couple of pity votes. - Oh. - His dance stunk. - He got a 21. Yet it is crazy that he didn't go home. Sierra got a 21. What did Sierra get? - 21. - 21. - Oh, same exact score. - Same score. - She comes down to vote. - But she also went first and I just feel like, had she not her score would have been lower? - Right, no, but they had the same score, so they're even there. So then when it comes down to which of the two of them is going home, it's completely about votes. So Savannah got more votes than Sierra. - And you said they brought Jackson a birthday cake that was sponsored by Paris McGathey. - I didn't see that. I must have been looking down. - It's funny. Then Tatiana, Lee and Jan Robnik, they got a 20 out of 30. - Yeah. They get less than Sierra and Jackson. - I feel like jazz is a, like a bad style. Like because both the jazz dances were really underwhelming in terms of their level of difficulty and like the way I feel.
felt like I was not impressed. She's my girl, so I'm glad that she wasn't even in the bottom. I think she's a lot of fans. Like I think her social media impact has been quite large. - I just can't believe like we're 50 minutes into the show and this is still the first story. That's why I feel like that's why it goes at the end. - Well no, but it goes at the end like then it's shorter. We don't want it to be shorter. - I guess. Julia Stiles of Ezra Sosa, 21 out of 30, that's low. - Yeah, I feel like. - I'm so sorry she didn't go. So she also got more votes than Savannah. - No, then Sierra. - People do love her and she's also like a good, like a big name. A lot of people on this cast are like not that famous and she's a big name. So I think it behooves them to continue to work with her. - I know, like you keep saying that someone is doing this. I really feel like there's no right person to go home. - I know you think it's like a complete level playing field. I don't know why. - I think it's one of the most secure elections in the world. - Well I think that if I remember from Mass Singer, they take like TV standards and practices like legally on a competition show is very serious. And they're actually really not allowed legally to tip the scales. - I feel that in the Dancing with the Stars. - Universe. - Then Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov, they dance to Hero 23 out of 30. Some of the criticism. - Harry Ann was really coming for her, like. - I thought that their critiques, they obviously dance beautifully. She's an amazing dancer. She has amazing form and figure and like she's a pleasure. She can do the tricks and the twists and the turns. - Just like a sculptural and everything. But they're not, like. - They have no chemistry. - They have no friendship. Like their packages, their social media, they never come across my feed ever. I don't think that they actually like just connect in a emotional way. - Yeah. - And it's not translating physically. - I agree. - It's just the sort of like bland. - It's like just two people dancing beside each other. - Dancing well. - Dancing very well. - Yeah. - But she won't go home for a while. - No, no, no, she's very technically proficient. - Yeah. - And that was the week then Sierra and Brandon went home which was a shock, but as we've now discussed, it was really between the three lowest scores and then I think it came down to votes. - I do kind of wish they would be more clear about who's the bottom three. - Yeah. - You don't mean? - I guess they don't wanna like demoralize someone who's like always in the bottom three. - Of course, but they say this doesn't necessarily mean you're in the bottom three. And then next week they say we were in the bottom. So which is it? - Yeah. - Maybe they mean that with the score. - But also maybe it is the bottom half? - Maybe. - I'm not exactly in the bottom three. Next week is Super Bowl Night which sounds really fun. - Yeah, what does that mean? Are we seeing it's like great American Anthem? It's like, - I don't know. - Maybe everybody Jens is too. Waitin' all day for Sunday night. - Half-time show songs. - Oh, okay. - No, no, no, no, it's gonna be amazing. - No, of course, of course. That just means they're like good popular songs. Who's Jens seem to roar by Katy Perry. That's a good one. - No, it isn't. - Oh really, I feel like it's such whenever I think of like big Anthem's at the Super Bowl. - Oh yeah, for the Super Bowl, but not to Jens too. - They can make anything good, like. - No, no, no, you want Gaga. You want Blue? - We're like, you know. - If you have to think about, it's not just like the last couple of years, you have to think of like, - Yeah, you could do Michael Jackson. - Yeah, yeah. Or a. - Coldplay. - Blackout. - Oh, like a V&E's Waltz to Viva La Vita. - That's beautiful. - Yeah. - Okay, well we'll see you next week. Are you ready for our next story? Our second story. The other reality stars who weren't on dance with the stars last night went to the virtual reality awards. - Oh, they did. I guess nobody from Summer House was at dance with the stars 'cause they wouldn't miss this for the world. - For sure, last night, but what about the last three? - Of course. Or even like just being overly supportive on social media. - So the virtual reality awards are like page six's pop culture podcast and they had an award show for reality stars. - Mostly Bravo. - And such, so the stars were out, as far as award winners, breakout star was Ariana Beermin. - I saw that and you know what? I think it was an inspired choice. Who else was nominated? - It's a good list of nominees Trinity from Love Island, Mia Calabrese from Summer House, and Alicia Carmody from Rhode Island. - Do you feel like it's paid a play, show up to win type of thing? - Yeah. - And Ariana was there. But I also think she is a breakout star. - She is a breakout star, yes. - But she was probably like a bigger breakout star. - Style, I kind of the year went to Meredith Marx. - Nominator alongside her was Bronwyn Newport, which she is very stylish. Ariana Maddox and Paris Hilton, like what? - Okay. - Well like. - Okay. - Favorite dynamic duo, oh this is cute. The nominees were Austin Crowell and Sally Carson, no. Layla and Miranda from Slamu. - No. - What? - Chizelle Brian and Robin Dixon. - Not anymore. - Maybe. - Not anymore. - And the winner is Lindsay Hubbard and Gemma. - That's really cute. - I'm crying. - That's very cute. - Hadi of the year. - Us. - Rice Alkalai from Mavine. - Right. - Robert Irwin. - Hello. - Frazier O'Lander. - Below deck. - And Kyle Cook, who won. - Like I said, it's a show up to win type of thing. - Best reunion performance. - Okay, that's actually a very good award. - That is Maddie Reese. I think she's a new Gen X Gen. - Southern hospitality. - Okay. - She didn't win. - Yes sir. - Joelleyn Tibery. - She did have a good performance. - Karen Huger. - I didn't watch. - And the winner, Sierra Miller. It was her year. - Oh yes. - It was her reunion. - She of course couldn't show up to accept the award. - Musician of the year. - Okay. - Gina Shea, Ashley Darby. Drew Siddora and the winner, Luanne Balseps. - She is the performer of the decade, like literally. - This is fun. - It's funny. - Best return to screen. Coward's well, Lala Kent, Vicki Gumbelsen, and the winner, Teresa Judais, Melissa Gorga, and Dolores Catania for what do they do? - What? - Where they are ultimately. - Those are all bad nominees. No, just Teresa. - Well, Coward's a good nominee. She returned to the screen. - Yes, did Lala. - Yeah, yeah. - But like, they weren't the best is what I'm saying. - Yeah. Oh quote of the year. This is good. More Higgins, I think. - That's a good one. - Liz McGraw, you were never homeless. - You were never homeless. - Melanie, give me 10. - Like, seriously, I hate when people still use that sound. It wasn't funny then, it's not funny now. - The winner, Rosie Woods, Demar. You're a fucking sign. - Plampig. Partie, not the Real House's Rhode Island, like cleaning up at the Page Six Awards. - The best cast when Jersey Shore Family vacation, traitors, love thineater. And the winner is Real House's Rhode Island. - All the Real House's Rhode Island showed up. I saw a video of them leaving their hotel. So like, the whole cast was there, they had this sort of-- - Yeah, no one like, you could guess the cast about like, any show, love thineater, they're just sisters. - No one, I just want to say, if we are going by like, the actual cast, like, traitors cast was insane. Like, that's my winner. - And Jersey Shore, like, that's been the cast. - Yeah, that's kind of the whole point. - Yeah, so that's just funny. Anyways, that Sally and Austin were spotted at their award. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Laila showed up with her new girlfriend. - Oh right, right, right. And we knew that she was gay, right? She came out and was like, by the show. - Yes, and she was on Jay Shetty. - Oh, was that what it was, yeah, yeah. - Yeah, classic Jay. - We're always talking about Jay Shetty here. - Making waves. Our next story little award show news. The Emmy Awards will exit broadcast television and head to Amazon's Prime Video. So much like the Oscars which are going to YouTube. - Are they? - Mm-hmm. That's what I just read. - Wait. - In 2029. - Sorry. - I feel like that's really crazy. 'Cause it's not crazy for an award show to go to a streamer. The Oscars is considered the most high brow. And I would say like YouTube is considered the most low brow streamer. Like, I don't know why. - And they said they didn't say YouTube TV. And like it just said. - YouTube. Like I feel like if the Oscars went, we should go to like Netflix. That's just sort of like an equal pairing. The Golden Globes should obviously go to the, you know, the most amazing streamer ever. 'Cause the Golden Globes are amazing. - And that's like the best award show. The only one I really care about. - It's on the one I'll be watching this year. Whether or not I'm there, of course. The Emmys though, if you are watching, starting in 2027, they will be on Prime Video for six years. - That's fine. I have no problem with that. Prime Video anytime I've had to like watch something live. Sometimes they have like football games. - It's pleasant. - It's pleasant. They don't have like tech issues. Like Netflix, like Loki has so many tech issues with like the Levant, Noah. Love is blind live reunion. Like I'm always buffering and oh, the fights. The fights are always hell. - Yeah. So sure, fine. - Yeah, like major moves for the streamers. Love that. - Major moves for the streamers. This just continues like earlier in the week we were talking about Sundance. What's it called, Skydance? - Skydance. - Skydance. But if you are like looking to buy an award to for your streamer, like the Golden Globes are the best one. - My name suggests the Golden Globes. They're so amazing. - You're not paying enough for them. - Agreed. Probably no streamers can afford them. That's probably what it is. - Yeah. - Take you find. - Also, you know, Nicking laser sozing for the 30 year in a row. - We, at first I just want to say like my journey is like, when we, I saw the list, I was like, not only are we not going to get nominated, I don't want to be nominated. Like this is seriously so much for me, like I'm overwhelmed, like I'm really grateful. - Now, I'm actually- - I started to like think percolate about how we like to go. - We kind of like need to be nominated. - And they don't be like, we need to be nominated, but we don't want to win. - No. - And then, once we get the nomination, it's like we have to win. - Yeah. People haven't asked me like if they can vote, what they can do. - I don't know. - I don't know. - I mean, like, there's no, no, you can't vote. I don't know what anyone can do for us. - Except pray, prayer, the power of prayer is so real. - And manifest. - Yes. - For those of you who are not religious. - We engage. I don't know. I don't know what can be done. We do have to like officially submit ourselves. - Oh. - Yeah. - Let's make sure to do that. - Yeah, of course. We need to choose, I think, I don't know how many episodes. - Okay, we discussed it. - Right. We need to put ourselves forth with certain episodes that we feel reflect us in the most positive light. - Okay. Maybe this one. - Maybe. - Oh no, I think the period ended. - Oh yeah, it's episodes in 2026 up until, like the day they announced the list, like yesterday. So this wouldn't come out of ask. - So we could do matter. - No matter of asking, but we can do like a shit job for the rest of the year. And it won't affect our, our sanity in the golden globe. - Oh, just our sanity on the charts and the reason I got-- - Whatever. It's shout out to Luminate. - Shout out. - All that dating. - And of course shout out to like all of our sponsors. And just everyone who makes a show. - I think it was a part of the toast in any way. Even if it just means listening, or even just watching the clips. - So the Emmys are going to Amazon Prime. - And we are going to the Golden Globes. - Are nominated to be nominated to go to the Golden Globes. - Exactly what my sister said. - And then our last story, some casting news, which sounds exciting. Jessica Biel will be playing Hugh Heppner's wife in a new movie called Playmate. - Alan Madison. - Clear, unclear. Jessica Biel is so random to me. - I know, but the logline for the movie, which sounds good, is L is a 13 year old know-it-all who considers the playboy-- - Playboy. - That's him. - Who considers the playboy mansion her second home. She meets Anna, played by Lily Rose Depp. One of seven hopefuls about vying to be playmate of the month. The two form an unlikely friendship and try to help each other get what the other wants. Most, a magazine cover for the playmate and a boy for the 13 year old, I think. - I'm sorry. You're gonna need to explain this baby to me again. Because why is there a 13 year old? - Who thinks of the playboy mansion? - Who's going for playboy as a second home. - She's not going for playmate. - Oh, oh, oh. - She befriends one of the seven girls going. - So would she, like, a wayward child who, like, is a ward of the mansion? - I don't know. - And who's Jessica Biel tall? - Jessica Biel will be playing the wife of Hugh Heppner in the film, who is herself a former playmate. Playmate, playmate. - While Hugh was married multiple times in real life, the character she's playing will be fictional. - Okay. - I have no idea what's going on. I wish them all the best. - It sounds like a good-- - And, you know what, Jessica Biel doesn't act a lot. And in the last, like, 10 years when she has, she, like, always is in things that are, like, really well received. Her last, that show on Hulu, or Prime about the sister. - Yeah. - The good sister, whatever. People loved, and then before that, she was in the, the TV show about the, remember Elizabeth Olson? - Yeah, Candy. - Yeah. They made two TV shows about the same exact, like, Saga and Princess. - I watched you, Elizabeth Olson. - Like, every confidence that Jessica Biel is playing. - And there's what's first. By the way, there's Kim's out, came out first. So she doesn't act a lot. I feel like she has, like, a pretty high bar for scripts. And I think they have a lot of money. So she, like, acts when she feels like it. - And I will also say, like, the playboy mansion, Hugh Haftner, it's not something that's really been. - Played out. - Excavated, and especially in a fictional sense. So I think this sounds like a good movie. - Yeah, I've no problem with it. - Lily Rose Depp is a talented actress. - Oh, the way I feel about Lily Rose Depp is, like, the total opposite of Jessica Biel. I feel like everything Lily Rose Depp is in is bad. Like, she's a bad picker. That HBO show about, like, the pop star with the weekend. - That was really bad. - And I don't know why. I've actually never seen her in anything. So I just feel like she's doesn't have a lot of commercial success. But I feel like she could be talented. - Do you think her and Johnny get along? Like, never seen the two together. - I don't know. - I don't know either. - Have I seen her in anything? - I haven't. - Oh, she played Pamela Anderson? - I saw the other Pamela Anderson one with, what's her name? Elizabeth James? No. Lily James. That was a good one. The unauthorized, as Pamela Anderson was upset about that one. But it was good. - Well, that's what Jessica Beale's up to. - And I know you guys were wondering. - That's our show. - Thank you guys so much for listening to The Toast and Money Morning Show.
