That was like your welcome to the NFL moment, that hit. A.P. Skelly, your platinum. You're telling me we don't have synced up clocks? He was like a Ben Simmons. No, no, no. I had a jumper. I had a jumper. I've been a nasty girl. What's up? It's your boy Jamar Chase, and we're back with another episode of Chasing No One. I'm here with my co-hosts, Andy Agar, and I have a dear good friend with me today. I don't know what other people call him, but I call him a dear good friend. He thinks he's faster than me. He thinks he's taller than me. He thinks he's better than me. I think he's more good looking than me. I don't know him, man. I don't know who he thinks he is, but I call him like Jesus, y'all. Man, if that didn't give it away, I don't even know if I can follow that up. He is a Clemson legend, which they could have used one of those on Saturday. He's also a back-to-back 1,000-yard receiver and fresh off his first Pro Bowl, the one and only. T. Hey. What's up? What's up? What's up? What kind of intro, man? Yeah, black Jesus? I mean, I didn't say it. That was all I had to say. What's up, man? Peace out, brother. Thank you for having me. No problem. Thank you for coming, man. What did it take to get you on the show today? What was the convincing? Did he just text you out of the blue and say? Yeah, he just texted me today and was like, I need you today, 1.45. Look at that. And you guys are close by each other, right? Yeah. We talked about this with Joe, too, because you guys are on the show. We're all kind of in the same area. We're pretty close. Just driving distance. Yeah. We're just pretty close. I'd like to get into, obviously, it is week one this week. Touch on this a little bit. A couple headlines going into this season that I'm sure you guys have heard enough about. The first one's Aaron Donald. The fact that he's coming back, he was just doing cardio this week because they were a little worried about his health. That's crazy. But the fact that he came back and he's now opposite Myles Garrett, what are you guys' thoughts on that? I mean, that's insane. Yeah. It's insane. It's insane. For sure. That's just crazy. Just those two alone. After a while. Just knowing what Aaron Donald did and seeing what Myles Garrett is doing. Yeah. There are O-linemen right now thinking, I got to go protect my quarterback. I got to game plan these guys. How do you even game plan that? I don't know. If they put them on the same side, then you're going to- Somebody got to have a one-on-one. Shift cover. It's going to be terrible. It has to. Somebody got to be a one-on-one. That's crazy. And then- What are you picking your poison on? You know, I think I'm going to go double Myles. Because Aaron's been out of the game for a year or two. Are you saying that shit now? But I know, but I know, bro. You can't really do that. He's going to come in and stiff on the shit off somebody after all them curls he's been doing. This week, too. I just saw on Twitter. I just saw on Twitter that Myles was- With working out with that guy? I don't know. He's learning how to tackle harder. Yes. Yes. He's working out with this guy. I forget his name now. He's learning how to hit harder. How do you learn that? Gang, I don't know. And he's lit this guy up. The clips? Look crazy. It's a real person he hit, dude. It's a real person. He's like, I don't know if this is WWE. That's a dummy person he hit? No, an actual person. No, an actual person, but he got the dummy at the pad. Yeah. The dummy pad. But he popping him, though. Oh, he's bad. And he's not even running at him. He's like, dude running at him. He's just like, hmm. I didn't see this. Dropping him. It looks like he hit a wall. It's crazy. It's insane. That's wild. Because that's what we need. Myles Garrett to hit even harder. Okay, the other storyline. Well, you didn't give your opinion on. What do you think? About that? Yeah, Myles Garrett. I am in complete awe. Just thank God he's out of the division. That's all I got to say. Yeah, I think it's pretty crazy, man. It's just too. You look on paper and it's just scary to see on paper. So they definitely name hoes away. The other one's OBJ is back, which is pretty cool. Because that's someone I grew up watching. I mean, been around for forever. And they. Damn, O, she just called you O. Sorry. Sorry, OBJ. I love you. They just released Darius Slate and the Giants did. So it seems like Malik's going to be pretty healthy because they wouldn't. They wouldn't touch on their wide receiver depth if he wasn't. What are you guys' thoughts on OBJ? We just were talking about guys knowing when football is done. Yeah. And I don't think it is. Do you guys think it? I mean, he could still have a great season, right? I mean, from what I see, from what I see, he still moves around. Yeah. Really good. I know. I think it's pretty dope that he got to go back to, you know, where it all. How it started for him. That is pretty cool. Yeah. Yeah. He'll have a good season. I think it's good he got another opportunity. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Just. Just stay healthy. Just the way like his career started to go downhill. I just think he. I'm just glad that he got another opportunity to showcase his talent and be himself again. Yeah. And hopefully, you know, him being back in New York, make him feel like his younger self again. Yeah. The environment and just how you feel. Yeah. That would be cool. Hopefully that day. Hopefully him and Malik make a good, you know, little combo punch. Nice little duo. Yeah. Not as good as some duos out there in the NFL, but maybe on this couch. Let's talk about the Bengals because there is speculation and you guys can talk about it or not that you might have the easiest schedule, which I mean, it's kind of there's facts out there to prove that it might be an easy schedule as far as we know. Like they based it off of last season. So that doesn't mean anything because it just it happened that they didn't have a great year last year. So what do you guys thought? Have you as coach talked about that? Do you guys are you aware that you might have an easier schedule? I mean. Coach don't talk about nothing like that because at the end of the day, you got to play professional athletes that are really good at their job. You know what I mean? So we just got to go in with the mindset of wanting to win every game. Going to execute in the game plan and maybe just trying to come out on top at the end of the day. We asked Joe this last week about it's championship or bust for you guys. And he said, yeah, like he's bought in. Do you feel that way? First of all, and what? I'm bought in. Oh, yeah. Yeah. But what different what things have happened differently this year? Maybe that you were missing in past years that you feel like you've addressed and it could get you to Super Bowl. If I'm be honest, I think the biggest thing. I think the biggest thing Joe feels from just overall, like from this team is just the environment. I'm saying like how much energy has been given off from offensive, defensive wise. I think that's the biggest part where he feels. I also think that. From the year we went to the Super Bowl, we had a lot of experienced guys on the team. So they was already vets. A lot of us were vets back in with vets. So a lot of the stuff was pretty much everybody on the team was was was older. I think the younger people was Joe T, me and maybe Sam Drew. Oh, yeah. Sample. Yeah. I'll say Sam Hubbard. Sample. Sample. So, I mean. I mean, around that time, everybody was really young that still on the team now. Everybody else was older. And right now we're getting pretty much the guys that are older, which is us now. And then we add into the same thing, you know, so I just feel like it's just coming back full circle for us. And Jonathan Allen. Yeah. All the additional defense is going to be huge. Yeah. That's dope. So, I mean, it's just it's just better. It's just better around for the defense. Defense playing together more. Yeah. You can just hear the communication. Yeah. Really? You can feel it. It's good to see. Yeah. I'm sure it is for you guys. Tampa Bay week one. Quick thoughts on that game. Do we have to give too much away? But how do we feel about Tampa Bay? I think my personal opinion will be a big game for Chase Brown because they've moved around their inside linebackers. They have they got they drafted Trotter and then they got Alex Anzalone from Detroit. So it could be a big, big game for your run game. But how do you guys feel about it? I hope so. You know, run game going against us. At the end of the day. So, you know, I hope Chase has a big game too. Yeah. I just think it's just got to come out fast. Come out fast. Yeah. Better than we usually do. That's the biggest thing. If we want to be good and win a championship, that's how we're going to start. I have to start off and start off fast. Going to be the way. Everybody talks about you with Cincinnati. You're known for this. I know. I'm sorry to bring it up. The slow start. Do you guys hear that talk in the locker room? Is coach care like? I mean, it's just so annoying. I mean, I don't. It's every year. I mean, we all know that we get up. It's understood. It don't have to be explained at this point. Right. Yeah. It's just like, go out there and get it done. Yeah. Like, be tired of talking about it. Yeah. Just go get the shit done. I think this is the year. I hope so. At home. That's the plan. I'm excited. I'm ready. Since it is game week, what do you guys feel physically? Like, how are your bodies? And what are you doing to get prepared for the game this weekend? Yeah. Me? I just got my treatment yesterday. So, you know, I got my. I got my kickstart. And, you know, I'm going to practice and be ready for Sunday. So. Your hyperextension about gave me a heart attack. Just so you know. About gave everybody a heart attack. Just like the rest of Twitter. Yeah. Jeez. I sent that to, like, everybody in the team. I'm like, dear God. Well, I am alive, so I appreciate that. That was my prayer to you guys. You're welcome. But, yeah, it was pretty scary overall. I did that to myself in high school, actually. My other leg. So, I got that on my huddle tape, too, because I scored. Definitely. Yeah, I cut it out right before it got too tragic. The huddle tape. Yeah, but I'm good. Like he said, man, I got my treatment yesterday. I just easy pacing it, you know what I'm saying? But still full speed as I'm getting myself prepared for the game. So, that's all that matters. Mentally matters more than, you know what I'm saying, my physical body right now. As long as I feel like I'm ready. Like you've done all the work. There's nothing else to do this week. Just mentally get prepared. How do you feel mentally? Are you guys good? Yeah. I'm great. Running fast. Run, Forrest. Run. Run. Run. Run. Before week one, what would you say to the fans? My message would be, you know, enjoy. We're going to do everything we can to make y'all proud. Try to bring the championship back to the city. I know how much y'all want it, how much y'all need it. So that's definitely our main goal. And I got to dance for y'all. I'm going to hit the downer way once, but I got a new thing that I'm going to start doing on most of my touchdowns. He know what it is. Bob know what it is. Let's go. It's coming up. Let's go. Yo, this man is crazy. You done made me complete my, you messed up my whole thing. I thought you just said that like. I thought you just messed me up so bad with that. Because I know exactly what he's talking about. Oh, I'm so excited. So excited. I forgot what we were even talking about. Question or what you would say to the fans before week one. Message to the fans before week one. Um, my message to the fans, I would just piggyback off what T said. But I think, I think this year, you know how T got his T thing, right? I think I want the fans to, to go blue. Okay. Every time I catch a pass or a deep pass. There you go, fans. So the whole stadium going. That'd be crazy though. That'd be cool. We can do that. Blue. All right. Yeah. B-L-U-R. R-R-R-R-R-R-R. Yeah. Oh, what's on the, on the, yeah. Blur. All right. Let's get it started, fans. I do want to just point out that there was an overwhelming amount of Bengals fans that wanted you on this episode. Because when we came out with Joe, I was reading the comments as we all do on social media. And it was, every comment was basically having, like. That's crazy. Yeah. And I think because it was really cool to see your and Joe's relationship outside of, you know, off the field type of thing. Yeah. And people wanted to see the dynamic of you two. Off the field as well. What is that vibe? Because like off the clock, there's no pressure. What do you guys actually, do you like hanging out with each other? You could hate him for all I know. We kick it here and there. We see each other every day, all day. So it's like when we get done from work, it's just like, all right. Yeah. You want a little space sometimes? Yeah. Definitely. What, if you guys had to think of the earliest memory you have of each other, like what's the first thing you think of when you think of each other? First interaction or first just memory that comes to your head? I definitely got a few of them. My first memory of you, bro, was the viral clip of you in Clemson. That was the first impression of you. Really? You went viral in Clemson. You caught the, you went up for a jump ball, came down off on one foot, spent off. Is that the one hand? He scored. I think he talking about Texas A&M. He scored. It was crazy. Yeah, Texas A&M. It was Trevor's first pass. Yeah. I remember you telling me this story. And he had just came in the game. And I called him. I remember I asked him this as soon as I met him. I was like, bro, you went. This is how I knew who he was, though. Like the clip went viral. Yeah. And I was like, dang. So when we played him in the championship, I'm like, oh, that's. That's it. Okay, that's what I did. Yeah. I do want to get into that, too, what you guys thought of each other during that game. My first memory, you know, of knowing who he was was him and Justin was dancing every time they scored. And in college at the time, that was a flag. Yeah. Now they could dance. They could do whatever they want. But at the time, when we was in college. That was a flag. And they were still dancing, doing a gritty. We like, how did he get to do that? And we get in trouble when we do it. Yeah. I think we was getting away with it because we was doing it towards the sideline. But sometimes, I'm not going to lie, sometimes we was like ODing it. Pushing it a little bit. Yeah, yeah. I mean, that's what was. People remember that, though. I vividly remember that. I don't know why they was letting us. I guess y'all was just excited to watch play. I don't know. You probably wanted to see the gritty. Yeah. The rest wanted to see it. That's crazy. That's crazy. Well, I want to get into T's background here a little bit. Because a lot of people know your story. You grew up in Oak Ridge. And then you obviously had success in Clemson. And then you went on to play for the Bengals. I have what you guys have now. But start back with Oak Ridge a little bit. What was it like before all the fame and the lights and all that? What was kind of growing up like? Yeah. Growing up was, you know, a little rough. A little tough. You know, a lot of people do know my story already. But, you know, with my mom. She was. She was in and out, you know, of the house doing drugs and things of that nature. Jail as well. So, around that time I was living with, you know, my aunties and my grandma. And that was a whole thing. Started playing football around like the age of like, you know, four or five. And one game. It's funny. I remember this. Like I said, one game. It was hot. I want to say. It was. It was super hot. I just. I remember that vividly. And I quit in the middle of the game. Like, went up in the stands, sat next to my auntie. And my auntie was like, boy, what you doing? I was like, I'm done. It's hot. It's hot. She said, listen. If you go back out there and score a touchdown, I go to Walmart right after the game and buy your Hot Wheels car. I kid you not. I kid you not. That is insane. I kid you not. I went down there and scored twice. I need two of them. Just to get you two? Of course you did. That's amazing. Well, I said that when you guys walked in. Now you have a real Hot Wheels. Now I got a real Hot Wheels car. He was born a car head. Yeah. Did you always like cars? I mean. I always liked cars. My dad was into them. Really? But he was more into like, you know, the old schools with the big rims and then like the sound system in the back. Yeah. Things like that. But that drove my passion for cars. Yeah. Did you guys bond over that when you first met the cars? Did you? Because you were always into cars, right? I'm about to say, it's hard to. I kind of got him into it. Yeah. Not really. Yeah. What's this? Kind of got me into it. Right. I'm all the way into it. You're. Yeah. That's the problem. I'm deep into it. Wait. I have a question because you saw this last time. You take the hood off your cars. Do you do it on all of them? Is that a thing? Well, you know where I got that from? No. The guy standing to my left. Nuh-uh. Yeah. So I did it. I did. I only did it one time though. I had seen it on the internet one time. So you can see the engine better. Yeah. I was like, you know, I'm going to try it. It looks cool. And I tried it. You can see the engine better and you can hear it. Yeah. Which is like what people. The car that I had was what people want to hear. Yeah. I mean, that's what I did it for. I wanted to. I put a new intake on it. But you're like part of your engine matches the outside of the car too, which is really cool. Yes. It's a painted engine. That's really cool. It's painted. Yeah. Yours is custom. Yeah. The Trackhawk. With the. The one on it. Yeah. What is there a next car you're looking to purchase or what's the next big. I ain't looking to purchase. Next car I'm looking to purchase. I'm about to get rid of my Trackhawk. Actually. Are you really? Yeah. I'm going to maybe give me a Cadillac. Something like that. So listen, y'all. If y'all need a Trackhawk. I'm not saying that he's going to give you a deal, but it's one for sale. There's one for sale right now. Now you're going to get a ton of DMs about that. That'll be fun. Last time we had the show, Jamar said that he was thinking about playing ball and he thought he'd be pretty good. Like probably can make it to the NBA. Yeah. Until I see. Yeah. Until you see team. His highlights. And you were a big basketball player in high school. And I think somebody said at Clemson, they were worried you would get recruited to play basketball. Yeah. I could have played both. Yeah. In college. Yeah. But I told, I told them that I didn't want to play both. When did that click that maybe wide receiver would be better? So obviously in high school, I got recruited to play both. So funny story. After my freshman year, my guy Ted and my guy, Jalen, Jalen was the quarterback. Ted was the receiver and Jalen, Ted was the only person Jalen threw him, threw the ball to. So that made me not want to play football after my freshman year. And I was really in basketball. I was, caught myself, baby Durant, this and that. Yeah. Yeah. So I told my football coach, I was like, yeah, I don't think I want to play next year. I want to focus on basketball, this and that. He was like, listen, you need to play football. He said, think about it. If you six, four. Mm. Six, five. In the NBA, you average height, if not shorter than average height. But in the NFL, he said, you're a giant out there. So I had to think about that. And then the very last moment, I was like, I'll play again. And look at me now. That's crazy. Do you think it helped with like contested catches and all that with your basketball? Oh, yeah. You know, I try to use some of those skills. It's like boxing out. Oh, yeah. And things like that. But yeah. But you play a guard or you play a big man? Yeah. I kind of played everything. Everything? Yeah. Around my area. He's like a Ben Simmons? Yeah. No, no, no. I had a jumper. I had a jumper. He was a little too much for me. I got it. I was more like a KD, man. All right. All right. KD, man. Throughout your transition of football and basketball, did you still love like football, even though like you went through that phase your freshman year and do not want to throw it to you? Yeah. I mean, obviously, I still had love for both of the games. I mean, I played both. I played both since I was five. It's just like I was skinny. I was a toothpick out there. So I was just like, yeah, there's no point in playing football. Which one you started training for like first? I started training for basketball first. Every time, you know, during the football offseason, I was never lifting weights for real. I was always like, I'm not about to mess up my shot. But yeah. So that's why you still don't lift? Chill. Chill. He asked you on his show and then he just roasts you. He lift. He lift. He lift. you ever played um um au basketball yeah i play you who you play for uh you know bobby oh okay okay that's how me and bobby met uh bobby mays okay university tennessee i didn't i didn't know b was so b was the coach that's that that's that's crazy he was the coach bro that's crazy i used to tell i used to tell him like what kind of coach he was the end of the bench coach or he was the head coach up front he was up front but he but he was like a little bit of both for real you know you know how he is he laid back so yeah that's why so but at the time when i was playing for him i uh i was kind of that's when i had a whole bunch of football over there at the time and then so i was already like yeah i'm probably gonna play football but i come play with you just because you're my boy and i used to tell him listen bro i'm not playing no defense i want to dunk and shoot straight three that's it that's when you know you just having fun with it you know you had you had offers in in basketball yeah i had a few offers yeah what like what what grade you started getting around that uh i started getting basketball offers probably towards the end of my sophomore year and my junior year oh so you was nice for real yeah i was all right nah you nice he's decent end of your sophomore year bro i mean it was like nothing crazy it was like mtsu uh like you know smaller d1 schools mtsu not that much of a smaller d1 school but like you know what i mean not a power i knew one dude that was uh same way though like home my homie and mine yeah he was real nice at basketball and like my sophomore year he would have like offers but they would be like little offers and stuff shit you know so yeah but i think that's still amazing though bro like i think a school a football school nicholas university came watch me play basketball at practice and gave me an offer for football so how does that work that's why i'm trying to figure out that they was coming get me for basketball the whole time it's for football so how does that even work that's pretty cool though to have people and get offers for one sport let alone multiple yeah seven on seven yeah it's crazy now yeah oh now you don't even gotta get hit you don't even gotta get hit when you're getting offers you won't have to have film for office yeah go to camps so somebody said the biggest job opportunity now is for all these high school kids um they hire social media content creators to come to the so all these high school games now have a ton of social media and content creators on the sidelines so they get nil deals isn't that crazy like looking at a sideline you would never even know it makes sense kind of it does yeah it's kind of it's crazy that's crazy high so i don't need to hire nobody like when we was in high school it was could you imagine i know when we was in high school it was huddle yeah that's all we had yeah they don't have that no more they i mean they got it but it's not i mean you can look it up on like tiktok now yeah i don't think so now when you have a girl over and you show them your huddle highlights you can't do that anymore i just gotta pull up your tiktok i don't think no girl was ever interested in huddle highlights i'll take some game film um okay this might be a good segue into college and how much it's changed now and i do want to get to lsu clemson because ironically that was this week and we did watch it right yeah well jamar said he shut it off on this did you really yeah we had a fan come up to us at lock coffee the event we threw not too long ago and talk about this but yeah so we had this fan at our lock coffee coming to us and said yeah y'all know the games this weekend uh what y'all gonna do y'all gonna bet on i'm like nah i don't really bet i'm like i'm not betting with t either you know what i'm saying i say especially on college football yeah he said so he comes that he tells that to me first then he goes to t and tell her to t then t called me over and he put me on spot i'm like what you want to bet i'm like oh man right so t like all right let's trade cars for the week oh that's good all right so he's giving me he's giving me a clutch porsche i ain't even gonna say the name all that you know how to i don't even know how to drive this yet i don't even know how to drive stick so i'm nervous like oh no you might be in the market to sell your porsche no no i'm gonna wait till i know how to drive it before i go get it okay that's fair because i'm gonna oh i'm gonna wreck it when i ain't gonna wreck it not wait i thought no no offense to this but i thought hold on all car people knew how to drive stick jamar yeah but this is this is the next step and this is coming from someone that doesn't know this is this is my final step of probably being a car guy yeah yeah like this has got to be my it's hard i've tried well i just learned how to drive clutch on a like little dune buggy on the left hand at my friend's mike's house this past weekend oh and that was and it's backwards learning so i'm using stick with my left what's your left i don't even know what a neutral lap right now so yeah the hardest is letting the clutch out and trying to give a gas at the same time there might be a wreck i started twice but i'll put it out there i started twice did who came up with this idea for the bet was it the guy it was me or was you yeah so you're kind of the one to blame i wanted i wanted to drive one of his cars thinking that clinton was gonna win and yeah the way they lost the spread here t i mean i don't know i don't know i don't think we never looked back but i don't really be looking at spreads yeah i just was hoping my album i mean there was half the country thought maybe lane kiffin and lsu were gonna shit on that one i'm just i'm just glad i didn't lose that bet yeah this is gonna be fun we gotta get some video maybe you know what i'm saying blast him a little bit oh i'm so sorry t um okay let's talk about the game a little bit did you watch it for them because there was that super long delay oh my gosh it was like a two-hour delay we because i watched a little bit actually he was over he was over here for the game actually summarized there were 600 yards yeah we watched a little bit of the game until it was like 21 or three or three and after that i turned it off i didn't even get to halftime because it's just blah i just don't understand what's going on i know we talked about this a little bit before the show like gabbo and because like it was a whole thing about the the the rookies that came back and and if they was gonna get beat that bad it shouldn't even matter right you know i don't even think they played those programs though right i mean what was the i don't even know like why they didn't play so okay yeah do you know i don't even know no i don't so the breakdown was these two guys they technically didn't get an nfl deal that one would play for the saints one for the browns and some other team which technically is like college level anyway so anyway um they played for these two nfl teams and then they the ncaa changed the ruling so they could come back so when they went into the nfl they couldn't come back so their argument was that the rules changed so they should get the chance to finish out their college career all right oh so those guys left early and they played with lane kiffin at old miss yeah so then lane kiffin's of course like well i'm gonna recruit them to come back and play because they have eligibility left so and tell me if i'm wrong but they came back and they weren't on the roster for this game but there should be no reason why they're kept off the roster so then the sec was like well that's not gonna happen and basically sued is suing lsu and lane kiffin for that because they wasn't on the roster because they don't want these because then they don't want there's like 300 nfl guys that could say well our eligibility is still good let me come back well i didn't i don't know but it's not like you guys come yeah can i go back i mean did they make did they did they get cut like did they make the team yeah they didn't make it in the nfl so then so they didn't they want to come back together and they didn't get they didn't get any the one guy's like i got a 300 travel stipend like i didn't get paid anything because he was on he was injured half the time i mean i mean i mean that's hard my opinion my opinion on it is if basketball can do it i can't football do it yeah you know what i mean because yeah i've seen guys like put their name in a draft and don't get drafted and come back and play back yeah i mean it's still collegiate and it's not like they're it's not like it's just open a free-for-all for anybody like you guys wouldn't be able to go back it'd be specific people who have eligibility right right i think it's fine though we actually had a player that that was uh at the bingos yeah recruited to go back actually yeah i just think it wouldn't like it's not that different it's not going to give him that much of a leg up it's not like he's on the it's not like he played a full season right right i mean it depends on how you're looking at it too if they didn't have a really have yeah and going back then they really didn't make it to the league yet you know what i'm saying yeah they should at least have one more year see how it goes and then go from there you know yeah i think the worst punishment that they could get is possibly being thrown out of the conference dead serious someone out there thinks that lsu should be thrown out i don't think it's that serious it's ridiculous i don't think it's that serious okay so so somebody need to do something with the uh with college football i mean basketball then right now yeah i need to go yeah right they're gonna do it with with basketball i feel like they should let it happen with football as well but if they're not gonna let it happen with football they need to change basketball yeah that's just me this is going a little too far you know trying to penalize them with all that that's what i've noticed with ncaa there's no i mean just let them sit out and no um it's not the same everywhere it's like they have to have it's like they don't have a final blueprint yet yes of this new era i don't think they know the rules damn near every year with college football right yeah with the playoff yep and all that expanding it and all that yeah that was crazy too that was crazy i kind of wish i was a part of that i was gonna ask you guys so it's pretty sick i mean because you get like if you're not if you're not a top five team you still got a chance to win the national championship you get to play the craziest teams you never thought you'd play yeah that's like LSU it's weird for teams like Notre Dame who basically if they win like 12 games they're in for sure because they're an independent it's just so weird because Tulane was in it Tulane University was in it yeah and that's a small school yeah and they got I mean that's just insane to see that though but but it's cool for them for the opportunity for the guys to get it's in the program too though you know what I'm saying it's like a March Madness like they're getting exposure now yeah it just would never be set up like March Madness I kind of like it though I ain't gonna lie it's not bad I kind of like it it's not bad what we were talking about before the show coaches it's a totally different world for them recruiting and how they handle oh my gosh I would not wish that on my worst enemy because it's like it's like it's like oh I really thought this kid really liked my school this and that you know and then another school come in offering way more money right it's like if I'm that kid yeah I'm gonna go where the money is you know what I mean it's just like oh it's crazy what's happened with that Nico kid from it could buy you and sit you on the bench oh yeah he was at Tennessee yeah yeah yeah he was acting like you guys he was acting like he had a contract he could negotiate yeah that was crazy that's crazy so did you guys see Lane Kiffin took a jump shot on the sideline I think he flexing yeah this team has maybe not the most because that was probably their team but they're so cocky to take them all the way like it's a good thing that ain't a lot that's good I thought I liked it yeah I'm a hooper yeah oh yeah so when he did I'm like alright but he missed it so he missed it but I'm glad you noticed that you mentioned the environment around him too oh yeah with that energy though so yeah he brought like Theo Vaughn and Livvy Dunn they walked out with him I don't know they're you know big people in social media but he's got just this following now of people love LSU football because it's cool to like them I feel like Lane Kiffin always had that type of swag about him though you know what I mean he just didn't have I guess he didn't have like the right he wasn't in the right place to yeah do we think Ole Miss was not a good I feel like Ole Miss was a good fit but LSU got more it's more flashy you know what I mean for sure yeah that's true that's true that's why I thought like Brian Kelly was not a good fit last episode we talked about that you gotta fit the program too you gotta fit the program Lane fit more the program too yeah okay let's talk about your college careers LSU Clemson there's a little history there first off let's talk about the ACC championship game in 2019 you went off yeah I went crazy yeah I think I had 182 three touchdowns not that you remember anything nine receptions not that you remember not that you remember the whole stat line did you even watch the game at all or anything that's probably one of my best games in college remember the whole stat line like that nine catches 182 three touchdowns correct me if I'm wrong but chat correct me if he's wrong that's crazy I applaud you on that one was that your first game where you knew how good you were kind of a catch question I always felt like I was pretty good you know yeah well I had confidence in myself that I was good but I mean that game I don't know what got it to me I was making I was Trevor threw me a crazy pass on the sideline like just reached out and just like extended my whole body caught it I was on one that game yeah I was feeling good well y'all how many back to back y'all won conference championship yeah all three I think and y'all made it to the 90 what two years in a row I think two years in a row two years in a row y'all was hot yeah against Alabama they was on a crazy run for a minute yeah Crimson had a run till somebody they hit some team I don't remember I don't know was it LSU maybe nah I don't think it was she got joked and I'm gonna lie about that game I really thought we was about to win cause at halftime when we first started playing we came out swinging yeah we was like oh we got them shook this is not the LSU we've been seeing all year we got them shook halftime I don't know what got in what happened 15 every time we get the ball on offense the first two possessions was 15 like negative 15 every time so we playing from the back need pressure and blitzing the whole time can't get the ball yeah Coach V love blitzing yeah I'm pretty sure I think I know about this but about this touchdown you scored rushing you ready for the Bengals to give you some more like this nah actually about that I got one one of those plays actually with the Bengals my rookie year just one it was the only time it was the same outcome as a nah it wasn't the same outcome you scored on the first one though right I scored on the first one yeah I was in that national championship first shot did it take a lot to convince coach to let you do that or was it nah that was just really I had it up for me cause nothing else was working so I gotta get your he's gonna start doing it again nah we got we got the real real runner over here we good what was your impression of each other in that game cause that was the first time you kinda saw each other right yeah I don't even think we spoke after the game yeah really it was more it was more so like alright they got really good receivers over there really good you know just yeah what they had going on and we was just focused on ourselves I think at that time too bro to me it wasn't nothing like yeah well who knew you'd be on the same team yeah I think at that time I knew Justin Ross right Justin Ross we was at the opening together oh y'all were yeah yeah we was at the opening together so that's how I knew who he was when he was over there but y'all y'all had a y'all two over there was definitely a crazy count y'all had a few guys that I knew Jacoby Stevens you know he was from Tennessee safety linebacker and then Jacob Jacob Jacob who Phillips yes yeah wow he was from Tennessee it was I don't know why I knew that I was just thinking of a big nugget head he had a big old nugget head too poor guy that's all he's known you know who I'm talking about Jake you know why I always tell him that at practice too that's funny okay let's get into the draft because like I just said you had no idea you guys would eventually play together but you got drafted by a team that you are a fan of is that true you're a Bengals fan yeah I've been a Bengals fan like AJ Green was your guy yeah that was my guy ever since he was a Bengals fan ever since he was at Georgia yeah then once he obviously got drafted here I became a Bengals fan and getting drafted by the Bengals was such a surreal moment for me that's crazy it was crazy and then I was just I finally got to play with him too yeah which is dope I asked him all the questions I could really you know just soaking up all the information what was he like was he a good teacher he was quiet yeah he was who he seems like yeah like what they made him he was him I was wondering that because we talked about that with Dexter Lawrence last time and Joe said he's he's a talkative guy yeah but you don't see it really we don't see it maybe from our perspective in the media or as a fan so it's cool to hear that he would crack a joke here and there yeah and then back to being quiet yeah yeah so your first time getting drafted what you think like probably the biggest differences between like NFL and college probably the speed of the game everybody is you know the best at their position literally like they're in the NFL they've been the best on whatever team they was on before that you know what I mean so it was just like I had to realize that like there ain't gonna be no peons out here you know what I mean yeah so it was just like and then we was playing the Eagles one time I caught a slant I got hit so hard bro this your rookie year my rookie year mind you my rookie year was COVID with no fans it was only like we had the cardboard fans in the end zone so it was crazy but you just gave me three different topics in one I know bro so I'm like that must have been your welcome to the NFL moment yeah it was then I'm like how actually was like COVID with no fans like how did you get yourself literally mentally to prepare with no fans it's quiet so like didn't they did they pump crowd noise in sometimes yeah they did so you can probably hear the whole deep defensive you could probably hit a whole sideline yeah you can hear everybody it was crazy I didn't think about that you can hear everybody you can hear everything some stadiums let you have like I want to say like 4,000 fans in there but they was all spread out I do that feels like a dream that's crazy so did the Bengals have fans yeah they had a couple fans they had a few fans yeah that's wild so that was like your welcome to the NFL moment that hit that hit was yeah for sure you know who hit you I was gonna ask that I don't even know who it was I didn't even want to know I feel you on that okay Jamar what was yours my NFL moment yeah you're like oh this is the NFL drops that's all I got oh oh that was depressing I'm just saying though like I didn't I mean my first touchdown yeah I can say that yeah that's a good idea it was against Minnesota I mean I don't know like stop laughing at me bro what you thought about me let me hear this let me hear what you what you was thinking what was in your head around this time bro bro alright I'm gonna be honest so what preseason game was it I think it was playing Washington yeah I already know he had a few drops I looked at TB I said TB bro I don't know I said we don't I don't know about this dude we might be in trouble TB looked at him he was like I don't know I think you threw the ball again bro you dropped it I said Man, throw me a strike. One, two, three, throw me a strike, man. Like, what's going on? And then after that, next thing you know, they're catching everything. But that was funny, bro. I didn't know, bro. I was a little iffy. I didn't know either. I didn't know what was going on. When he got drafted, what were you thinking? When he got drafted, I was like, ooh, we got that. Who know? Okay. Okay, you know. Him and Joe, we get back together. Yeah. This and that. We got to practice. First of all, when he running, it don't look like he's sprinting. Yeah. We was all like, even the receiver coach. He definitely told me to run faster. Are you running? Every time I meet him, like, Chase, you need to run faster. You need to run faster. Really? He like, Coach, I am running. Me and TB like, no, you're not. Yeah, I am. My high school coach gave me the same lecture when I was in high school. Really? That's crazy. But you're fast. It just doesn't look like you're running fast. I just run smooth. I just run like, lackadaisical. Yeah. You know? Yeah. I don't know. I've heard, this is not my first time hearing this. When he told me that, I was like, I've heard that plenty of times before. Yeah. I guess I, I don't know. I don't even think about that when I, do you guys see, real quick, side note, do you guys see edits of yourself ever on TikTok or any social media? I don't have TikTok. Do you see edits on, well, they're big on TikTok, but Instagram, the edits are so cool. Yeah. I'm just saying, guys. But there's a couple of you running, and it's very smooth. So it makes sense. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. It's just a thing. That's wild. It's just a thing. But T, let's get into more like the business side of stuff, bro. You know me. You hang out a lot. Let's talk about, you know, some of the stuff you do on the off season, like, like, like what's your cause, like business wise, right? Let's say, oh, the, uh, the shop. Yeah. Talk about that. Yeah. Um, you know, me and Isaiah Simmons. You know, Zay. Yeah. Uh, partner up with two guys, you know, Wayne and Mo to, you know, start our own body shop type rap, you know, things like that. Yep. And, you know, just something that we're passionate about. You know, it's not nothing too crazy. It's just something that's fun. You know, can't make money from it, which we do. And, you know, just stay around cars. Yeah. But also, you know, those guys do love football as well. Our other two business partners do love football as well. So, it's not like we're completely away from football. Yeah. So, I guess it all ties together. Yeah. So, you can bring your car to that shop after he drives it and crashes it? Well, I ain't gonna crash it. That's not, that's not even to say that. See, see, if he crashes it. I'm not even gonna put that out there. If he crashes it, me and him gonna be going to another dealership. I'll just geek. Never mind. Uh, that is a crazy bet. Uh. Oh, man. So, who, um. Who, like, came up with, like, the ideas with that? Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, did you and Zay come up with it? Or it was just something, like, you just always wanted to do? Like, say, after football, just, like, you see yourself doing, you know? Yeah. Uh, it was something I always wanted to do. I always talked about it, you know, uh, with my boy Logan. But, you know, then Zay, I talked to Zay. And he was like, bro, like, let's, let's, let's start on our own. I was like, all right, cool. Let's, let's figure it out. Let's look at everything. And Zay knew Wayne and Mo from. Um, him playing in New York. Yeah. Um. It just all worked out. You know, he, Zay ran the thing by them. And he was like, we can do this. Let's find a place down where we at. And, you know, get it together. And I think right now, we'd have had maybe 20 cars come through already. And we just started, you know, in the summer. So, it was dope. I mean, Jamar's big into fashion. You do a little bit, right, too? You've got a. Uh, yeah. You were just doing a shoot. I'll jump in fashion a little bit. Yeah. Yeah. I'm not really too of a fashionista guy. So, you take his lead on fashion. He takes yours on cars. No. Yeah. I wouldn't even say that. Uh, I still got my own style. Yeah. Man, half of the time, we pull up with damn near the same shit on sometimes. Do you really? Sometimes, yeah. And I'll be like, what the hell? Or, or sometimes, like, I'll wear something. Like, we both have it. Yeah. I'll wear it first. He like, man, I just bought that. Oh, yeah. I didn't think about that. That'd be annoying. We did that a couple times. Because you guys probably can't be seen in the same. I mean, we can, but it's, it's better not to. Yeah. We already. Already together all the time. Best friends and then on the field together all the time. And it's like, damn, they do everything together. I asked, we asked this last episode, um, and I just like to hear your guys' opinion of it. What is the best advice you got in terms of business opportunities or how you spend your money or, you know, kind of off the field stuff? Lucrative stuff. Lucrative stuff. What was the best advice you got? Uh. From somebody else or to myself? From somebody else. Okay. Like, who, how they told you how to handle your money or what to do with your money. Um, you know, I seen a clip. It was Giannis and he said, never have every, correct me if I'm wrong. I might not be quoting it like a hundred percent, but never have somebody at your camp that knows. Somebody like that knows somebody else that's like, say I have somebody, my financial team. Yep. He shouldn't know my agent like that. Yeah. That's a good point. Keep it all separate. Yeah. But that's, that's, I seen that clip. And then one of my good friends came and told me, like, told me that it was like, and broke it down to me. I was like. That's cool. You wouldn't really think that because they're all on the same team. Yeah, exactly. Cause you don't know. You never know. You never know everybody's intentions. So. That's true. I was worried about that with you guys. Cause you, people would take advantage of. Oh yeah. I've seen, I've seen some crazy stuff. Yeah. Yeah. That is a good one. Jamar, do you have one? Um, honestly, I, I don't know if I have one right now. Honestly, I'm still going, I'm still learning it right now. You know, if I'm gonna be honest. Yeah. And it ain't just about my team. It's myself. It's my family. It's. It's stuff that I want to learn what to do with my money more. So honestly, I'm still learning a lot. I mean, I can't say, I can't say that. I mean, you've, you've taught me some stuff on, on like investing and things like that. So I guess I could say you have, you know, taught me some things in that world. Obviously I have other people helping with that too. But like, you was like, bro, like, boom, look at this. This is how, this is how you, you know what I'm saying? It was just, I think it's pretty good. Yeah. It definitely do that. Yeah. Yeah. That's what I hope all these college kids are doing too. Come into money pretty quick. You got to start investing. Man, what they, 18 years old. Crazy. $3 million deals. Bryce, I don't know where to get into. Oh, wait, quick question. This is, I don't know if I want to use this or not, but quick side note, the Michigan game. Did you guys see the end of the Michigan game? With the added second. Yes. Okay. Yeah. That was great. I didn't see it, but I heard about it. That was insane. It's like they just wanted to give him a chance. Yeah. Then the, yeah. NCAA was trying to convince us all that we were wrong. I don't see how you. So. So they basically said the clock didn't light up. He stepped out and didn't touch the ball for one second. Yeah. But they said that the clock, there's a different clock that the officials were using that we couldn't see as fans. Oh, that's a lie. Isn't that crazy? With the technology today, you're telling me we don't have synced up clocks? Wait, is that the video I seen with the refs having their stuff on their hats now? Yeah. Oh, that's the new eye clock or something like that? Oh, they got, they got. They got some, I seen a video with something like on a hat. Oh, really? It's like something. It's like something they, I don't know if that's true or not. I remember seeing like the refs on our sidelines have big ass watches with the clock on there. Yeah. I don't know what that is. Yeah. I seen it for the first time in preseason game. I was like, what the fuck? I was like, what kind of watch they got? Yeah. I ain't never seen that. Speaking of watches, what you got on today? I got, uh, AP Skelly. Okay. A little platinum. You know. Are you guys big watch guys? He is. Are you guys big watch guys or shoe guys? I'm, I'm watch. He got me in the watches. Really? Yeah. See, I got him in the cars. There you go. Okay. But like watches and cars go together. Yeah. Yeah. I even got him, I got this man, bro, I was staying at this man's house for so long, trainer. I'm like, bro, I gotta get you some like, some, some gifts or something in the house. But I'm like, bro, I feel, I'm like, bro, I gotta go get me a hotel room, bro. He said, bro, you good, bro. You good. I went and got this man some car books. Really? Some jewelry books. Aw. And, uh. I think that was it. I think it was like, oh, it was two car books and a jewelry book. Yeah. Some Ferrari and a Porsche. Oh, that's cool. And some chains. He liked jewelry. That's so cool. Use it as a decoration. Aw, I love that. And he kept them. That's a good gift. Well, I just put them out. I ain't, I just told him, I said, bro, I put the books out. I just, I just ain't wanting to hold them and forget I had them. So I just put them out. And just made it like a display thing. That's really cool. I like that. Um, I heard this off season, you did a big business deal and switched from Nike to Under Armour. Yeah. Yeah. Talk about that. What was that like? Your why? I made the switch from, you know, the big check. Yeah. Um, honestly, it was just, I guess it was time for a change for me. Yeah. Um, yeah, I love Nike, you know, wearing it, everything, you know, everything was great. But, um, it was just, I felt like it was time for a change and I wanted more, I guess, when I talked to those guys. I don't know where they, this made me feel like family. Yeah. Um, you know, they was preaching that they were going to help me, you know, with a charity back home. Just helping with my community. When I throw camps, they'll help with T-shirts, things like that. Yeah, the small things, which I really love. It was a no-brainer for me after that. I want to say that, too, real quick. Under Armour, my dad and brother, I don't think I even told you this. They do Ironman. You know the Ironman races, the super long distance? My brother has cerebral palsy, so my dad pushes and pulls him through the Ironman races. And they reached out and did something with my brother and had him be an ambassador for Under Armour. But they're so focused on giving back and the family dynamic. It's just so cool. I like to hear that. Isn't that cool? And it's dope because, obviously, they had, I guess they lost their partnership with the NFL at one point. And they couldn't show none of their logos, and now they can. And it's just all about building their brand back up, and I just want to be a part of it. That's cool. I like that. I don't know if it's either because the logo is back in the NFL or because JJ owned Under Armour, but I've been seeing Under Armour so much lately. That boy Justin definitely had a lot of influence with that brand, bro. Yeah, he definitely turned it up. I like what he's doing, too. They did that whole thing in, let's see, was it Japan or China where he had that thing? He was on the billboard, the screen, bro. Was it Japan? I think it was Japan. I want to say that was the first time they put a person on that screen. Oh, that's so fire. I could be wrong, but I think it was the first time they put a person on that screen. That's tough. That's cool. Yeah. I didn't know that. Yeah. And if you think about it, all the camps that he do, Under Armour always there helping. Yeah. Yeah, he did a camp. Yeah, he did do a camp in Tokyo. Yeah, something like that. Yeah. Okay. Wild. I do remember that now. Yeah. That's crazy. Yeah. So that's pretty cool you partnered with them. That's fire, bro. That's some big names in Under Armour. So, man, that's actually pretty cool, though. I ain't even going to lie. Isn't that cool? That's really cool. So I had heard a little birdie told me. You do the Express campaign, right? And they was walking in the mall, and they sent me a picture of you, man. You had the biggest smile on your face ever. I'm trying to figure out what these people telling you, man, because I seen the commercial of you, too. You know what I'm talking about? You want to talk about that? The Express stuff? Yeah. Yeah. Let's hear about it. I mean, I like what you're doing, though. At the end of the day, I like what you're doing, bro. Yeah, yeah, man. I like what you're doing. I guess it's an intro to my modeling career. Out of all the times. I tried to take you to Paris for Fashion Week. I'm just playing. I don't want to be a model. But it was a great opportunity. You know, I was with Abercrombie at first, and I think they just, I guess they dropped me from the campaign, and Express came with an offer, and I was like, yeah, that'd be dope, I guess. You know, I shop at Express already, you know what I mean? When I wear business, casual stuff. And they was like, you're going to do this? You, man, we're going to do it with, how do you say her name? Taneet? Tinashe. Tinashe. Yeah. Yeah. You can do this thing with Tinashe. She picked you. They picked you. But I'm like, all right, bet. Yeah. It'd be pretty cool. What's she do? She the one that, she the singer. She the one that made the song. I actually don't know. Is she? I think she did. She chose you? Yeah, yeah, they chose me. That should be the ad right there. That should be the kid. DJ. Yeah. Put it together. No, but it was, I mean, it was cool. But then I'm on set, right? I want to say I had like four different looks. First of all, we in LA, it's hot. It was a hot day. Yeah. And the house we was in was crazy. I overlooked the city. It's all like, it was all like rock. It was, it was crazy. I forget his name. Some famous Laker fan or something like that. And so we on set. I'm hot. They got me in his jacket. And she playing her new, her new song, I guess she dropped. And it's more like on like a DJ type set song. So it's not like the nasty girl song. And, and the way I'm trying to groove to it, it's like, I couldn't really, I couldn't really like do my thing. And then she had like dancers doing their little dance and they moving good. You had a mini club. I'm over here like, I'm over here like, yeah. This trying to find the beat. I probably heard that song maybe a hundred thousand times that day and it started to get catchy. So I was, I kind of like, as we moving on from, you know, one part of the shoot to the next part, I'm starting to catch it a little bit. And then we got like to the party scene. I'm in that thing. But it was, it was fun. It was just, I've never been on the shoot. That was eight hours long. Oh my gosh. That was my first time ever doing something like that. That's crazy. I feel like they, they also showing a little bit of like your personality too. Yeah. It was, it was dope. If, if people don't know you, then they don't see that side of you. Like, like, like if the way we hang out, you know what I'm saying? That's what that look like. Like you just look like you actually like laughing instead of like forced to like be in the moment. So it did look natural. That's a really good question actually. What's something you guys know about each other that people don't know? That we don't get to see. And it's not necessarily like something bad or just something that we don't know about you guys. Of each other that you know about the other person. Hmm. Hmm. I guess we never really got to ask this question before. I would say maybe that he's a good dancer or that he dances. I mean, everybody know that though. Really? He's a, look at the celebration. I don't know, I don't know if I'm a good dancer. I like, I like the, I like the dance. You ain't taught me too many dance moves at this point. Way too many at this point. I guess a lot of people already know this, but do, do really like our greatest. Yeah. It's like, and it's like, to me it's kind of like, why do you like this game so much? Cause like the game itself is, it don't even seem like fun. Like the game don't seem fun. Like I tried to play it. I tried. I just don't get the objective of the game. Like, yeah, you go around trying to find people and, and I guess, you know, eliminate them. But no, you gotta, so it's, it's, it's, it's a lot. It's pretty a lot. I can't blame him. Cause this is some news. It's a game that I ain't never played until it came out and started playing. I got addicted to it and I couldn't help it, but you pretty much got to find like materials to make like your benches for like your equipment. Right. So if you could go into the world and you got to find materials. To go back home with, to make your guns and like bandages and whatever else you need to survive. Right. Yep. And when you go and sent out there to this another world, it's other people out there looking for the same things and they could kill you and take your items. Okay. So basically like you trying to survive while killing others, while looking for stuff too. So, okay. So let me ask you this. So once you got everything, what's the purpose of the game? That's a great question. Once you got everything. Oh yeah, like say, say you, say you get a blueprint of a, I guess a gun that you want. Right. Yeah. And you go around, you looking for it, I guess. And you find it, you know, and you find everything to make it with your, with your bench. I don't know. Yeah. The objective is to, to extract pretty much. Okay. It's an extraction game. Okay. So like they sending you basically like you are only, you can play by yourself. You can play with three people or two people basically. And then they just throwing you into another universe. And they extracting you and you got to talk to three people. And y'all, it's just three of y'all on the team. And then y'all fighting three other teams, three other players. So do you play with other people? Like. Yeah, it's like online. It's online. So like I've seen, I've watched your streams and I've seen like, or you like in a whole battle. So like, since you've got everything now, do y'all like drop in there and just basically war zone? At this point now? Yeah. Like I'm going in at a, well, it's called PVP and PVE. PVP is like fighting other players. Player versus player. PVE is like player versus entertainment versus the game. I don't think that's what the E stands for, but I made it entertainment. Like the robots and all that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So you're looting and looking for stuff. I played it one time. And when I play, I saw one person. I went to chase him and never seen him again. I cut the game off. I was like, what? It'd be like that. I mean, it'd be like that, bro. That's what the restart button is. It's a slow paced game when you first start to play because it's like something you don't really know what you're doing. That's what it sounds like. It builds. Yeah, it builds up. A lot. Okay. I'm more of a 2K guy. I was going to ask. You're big gamers though, right? You like to game, right? Yeah. I kind of slowed down a little bit. Yeah. I've been more just watching TV shows. Yeah. Ooh. What's your favorite TV show? It's so funny. Right now, I'm binge watching SWAT team. Really? No, SEAL team. SEAL team, yes. SEAL team, I'm binge watching it right now. That's with a guy from, oh, what's that crime movie? Bones. The guy from Bones. It's a good show. Yeah, it's good. I've never heard of that. Yeah, SEAL team. It's good. He just told me I need to watch The Sopranos. The Sopranos. Oh, you haven't seen The Sopranos? Oh, it's a great movie. I'm big on Mafia movies. It's a great show, yeah. Yeah. So that's my stuff. All right, we're going to do something fun this show. We have a few voicemails that fans have left you guys. This ought to be interesting. Oh, okay. Yeah, we're going to call it Press 1 for Uno. Pretty clever. I like that. I know. That's smooth. So I'll read off the voicemail, and then you guys can answer the question. This is from our lovely fans out there. Voicemail number one, it says, "Hey Jamorn, My name is Griffin Bradley, and I'm from Dayton, Ohio. I'm a freshman playing college football. My question is, what do you wish you knew as a freshman in college that could help me out on my journey? Thanks, and good luck this season. Thanks, Griffin. Isn't that good? I would say, right, because I had to do this because my position wasn't handed to me, for one, and I also was behind another five-star and another dude that was like a junior there. I would just say just go in with a good mindset, like be positive. But, you know, it's also different that I'm saying that now because kids from my era in college and this era in college is like they could pick. They poison from colleges, you know what I'm saying, and then leave. But overall, I just say just go into college with a cool head, with a mindset because you really don't know what's going to happen until you get there. And then once you get there, it's like make the most of your opportunities. Yeah, I can piggyback off that. Just, like you said, going in with a good mindset because you never know when a challenge is going to come. You know, you're going to face those challenges, and you have to push through it regardless. At the end of the day, don't let one thing define who you are. You know, if it's a bad thing, don't let it define who you are. Just keep pushing and being the Griffin that you know you are, you know what I mean, and just keep being great. I love that. I think that's so important because so many people focus on the athlete perspective and your physical ability, but mentally, you guys got to be on top of things too. Okay, voicemail number two. Yo, Jamar and T, I had a good question for you. If you didn't play football at all, like no high school, no college, none of that, what kind of regular job do you think you guys would have? Great question. You know, if I actually… Regular job? What do they mean by regular job, though? Like not professional athlete, just a… I'd probably be at a Smoothie King somewhere. Dude, a Smoothie King? If I'm being honest with you. You get free smoothies. I would have tried to at least be like… Something like a racer or something. Yeah, you know what? Something to do with cars, where they'd be working at a body shop. Something, I'd be doing something with cars for sure. Them dreams wasn't that big where I was from, so. That's wild. Isn't that crazy to think about? Like your guys' life could be so different if it weren't for ball. I honestly never had a plan for that. Like it was always football. Really? I mean, for me, it was always football too. I never really thought. Of what I wanted to do if I didn't have football. But, I mean, now obviously I would want to be anything that had to do with cars. Yeah. Things like that, but it's crazy. Honestly, just in a blessed situation. Yeah. Yeah, because this opened up. Now you can do all these cool things. I mean, yeah, that too. But I also know people that held on to football too long and never got an opportunity to sit there and think about what they wanted to do after football. Yeah. And that's only because that's just what they always wanted to do and dream about, you know? Yeah. It do hit different when you realize like you got to swallow the pill and realize football over. Yeah. And it's so crazy, bro, that you say that, because I've actually been like talking to myself and like, because I mean, you're seven. Like, it's not forever. You're right. So it's like, all right. It's around that time. It's around that time where I need to figure out like, when I'm done playing, I need to have stuff already in place, set, ready. That's so good of you to think ahead that far, because like you said, a lot of guys don't. They don't. I mean, that's the whole opportunity for us to be having. I'm trying to think about this. Damn. I did this program for the NFL this offseason, and it was like, I'm trying to think about what's the actual program called when they had me meeting up with like, I met the head of Google, David Crane. Um, just like business meetings and stuff like that. And they set us up for stuff like that. So I did like, maybe like two meetings this offseason and just got my head in the door and just listened to something like that. To think of the world outside of football. Yeah. Like after the fact. That's where really we get those opportunities for to get meetings like that. Yeah. That's very smart. Okay. Voicemail number three. Hey, Jamar and T, my name is JP Richard. I was just calling in to see what your absolute favorite restaurant is to hit up in Cincinnati. Yes. Good luck with everything this season. And thanks for being such a huge, huge inspiration to all of us. Thanks, JP. I got three. Favorite restaurant. JP, we got a lot, brother. Yeah, I got three for you. It's not Skyline. I'm going to tell you that right now. No disrespect to Skyline, but I ain't eating any chili with cinnamon in it. Cinnamon? Bro, you know they also put chocolate in their chili? Nuh-uh. I don't even like chocolate. Look it up. I haven't tried it yet. I don't think. I promise you, there's chocolate and cinnamon. You guys are talking me out of it a lot. And then, and then, say you get a little chili, dog. They just going to grab a handful of cheese and just whoop. Not even going to melt it or nothing. Is she cold still? Sound like you had some. I have had it. Oh, you're nice. Did I like it? No. Okay. I would probably say the three restaurants in Cincinnati that I love the most. New restaurant called Noche, Italian spot. I've told everybody about it. Okay. One of my friends put me on. You haven't been there yet? Nuh-uh. Nuh-uh. Apparently he hasn't told all his friends. And then my second one is, this is no order. This is no order, though. This is no order. My second one, I'm going to pick Soto. It's pretty good. I love Soto. I've heard about that one. It's another Italian spot. And the last one, I'm going to pick Ruby's. Okay. Right? So. What kind of, what is it? American? What food is Ruby's? Steakhouse. Ruby's is steakhouse. I feel like everybody know about that. Okay. About that. Okay. My three, I'm going to go Terry's Turf Club. It's a hamburger place. Ooh. Fire. You can get a filet burger. Fire. Fire. I really like, obviously, Ruby's. You know, what's it called? What's it called? We just went Frankie's. Frankie's is really good. What kind of food is that? Steakhouse? It's like Mediterranean. Mediterranean. Oh, okay. Mediterranean. Yum. So good. Okay. Lamb chops, so good. There you go, JP. Steak, so good. What's that? Whip burrata. Whip burrata. So good. So good. The hummus. So good. So good. Yo, that shit fire. I ain't even gonna lie. Shout out Frankie's. Yeah, Frankie's fire. Frankie's. All right, there you go. Well, thank you guys for your voicemails. There will be some in the next episode, I think, too. We'll get another press one for Uno. I like that. Stop calling if y'all ain't got nothing good to say. Yeah. Stop calling the phone lines. Y'all calling when I'm at work and leaving voicemails. That's my actual phone. Y'all know that, right? Come on, man. All right, T, so finally wrapping up, my brother. I appreciate you coming here today. I'm going to start doing this with all my guests at the end of the episode. I just want you to give a story about a crazy experience you had, a funny experience you had growing up with me, with Joe, a friend around, just some stuff about you, you know what I'm saying, a good story you got. Find one that's interesting. Joe's did pretty well last week. I didn't know where his story was going to go, and then we found it. It was good. People liked it. Yeah. It took a minute. Was it long? Yeah. So yours doesn't have to be. I don't know if I got a long one. He was just like describing it like- How he described things? Yes. Yeah. Okay. Like he was overly describing it. I got you. I got you. I guess I could tell y'all the story of how I became fond of jellyfish. Oh, okay. Yes. I meant to ask you this earlier. Yes. I saw this somewhere that you like jellyfish. I need to know. I'm just scrolling on social media, you know, just minding my business, and an ad comes up of jellyfish. Okay. I'm like, hmm. These creatures are kind of interesting. Like, how are they just floating in like, I don't know. Anyways, I'm just like, can I have these as a pet? I'm like, I wonder if I could put them in a fish tank. And then I got to asking people. I looked it up. Chat at GBT. He was like, yeah, you can. I'm like, hmm, okay. So I got on the internet, jellyfish tank. Looked it up, found one. First one came in, broke. Damn. You know, because I guess they was just throwing the box around. It broke. So I'm like, fuck, I already ordered these jellyfish too. So then a jellyfish came in. So they just sit in the box. I'm just like, uh, what do I do? And then, so I had somebody. I had tweeted. I was like, dang, my jellyfish tank broke. I really don't know what I'm doing. And then, bro, I kid you not. People in the city was just like, oh, TT love jellyfish, this and that, this and that. And then I met this guy that worked at this exotic pet shop, kind of. And nothing but saltwater animals. They had sharks, fish, angelfish, all that. Eels. What the hell? Crazy. All babies, though? Yeah. It was like, we can help you. So I ended up getting like a. What's that? It was like, I want to say 50 gallon tank. And ended up putting jellyfish in there. And then. I couldn't run the filter because the jellyfish was, like, I guess too, like, flimsy. Oh, really? And the filter would have, like, ripped them up or whatever. Something like that. Yeah. And by me not running the filter made the salt water tank stink, like, really bad. So my whole house was smelling, like, straight, like, mildew. Like, just, like, salt, you know. Yeah. And so I was, like, fuck. So I had to get rid of the jellyfish. And I ended up getting, like, eels. Like, eels, like, angelfish, all types of other, like, starfish. Yeah. Which was cool. It was cool. And then I moved, and I was, like, you know what? I'm going to put a big-ass jellyfish tank in my wall. So now I got a 200-gallon jellyfish tank in my wall. Do you really? With, like, 15 to 20 jellyfish. No way. Did they just float around there all day? They just float, yeah. That's crazy. Yeah, it's good. It's like a lava lamp, but real. So you, okay, this is my last thing. It's pretty much a yes or no, and then you can be done. You think this is the dumbest thing you spent your money on? Definitely want to owe. But if you think about it, though, like, the only thing. But you see it every day. The only thing that was crazy expensive was a tank. That's different, though. Wait, the question, how much does a jellyfish cost? You can get some moon jellyfish for, like, $10. Really? Yeah. Wow. It's so crazy, because when they found out that I like jellyfish, they're crazy. They don't have me come visit their little jellyfish exhibit, all types of stuff. Yeah, it's kind of cool to see. I'm going to start using my Twitter and tweeting whatever I. You're not using your money enough here, Jamari. Yeah, I got to start tweeting what my fans are doing and start asking stuff. I swear, I ask them all the time. Like, yo, like, if I need something, I ask the fans. That's crazy. They'll tell you. I'm about to start using Twitter. Daniel's fans are coming through again. Man. They're the best, best fan base. FAQs

It's crazy how powerful their combination is. They're so dominant that defenses have to game plan around them, making it nearly impossible to stop both of them at once.

I think it's a great opportunity for him to showcase his talent again. He’s proven he can still play at a high level and being back in New York might help him feel like his younger self again.

While it might seem easy based on last year's schedule, the real challenge is playing against professional athletes who are top-tier. The mindset should always be to win every game, not just rely on schedule factors.

It’s about starting fast and executing the game plan. I believe the team’s energy and depth, especially in defense, will carry us through the season.

I get my treatment and focus on being ready physically. Mentally, I trust the team’s plan and stay confident, knowing we’ve done the work and are prepared to perform.

It’s annoying, but we don’t need to talk about it. The message is simple: go out there and get the job done. We’re ready to make a statement from the opening drive.
