🚨IT’S OFFICIAL! Trump Ally Now CONTROLS CNN…And Elon Musk Is Being Tapped As Potential Investor S6 E10

CNN has been acquired by Skydance, a newly formed media company resulting from the merger of Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery, now publicly traded as SKYD. The deal, led by David and Larry Ellison, consolidates control of major news operations including CNN and CBS under one entity. Larry Ellison personally committed over $40 billion to back the transaction, highlighting the financial scale and risk involved. To avoid destabilizing public stock prices, a private equity investment from figures like Elon Musk is being explored, signaling a potential shift toward more innovative, cost-efficient media models. Internal changes are expected, including possible layoffs and restructuring of leadership—Mark Thompson and Barry Weiss are staying temporarily, but their roles remain under scrutiny. There’s growing concern that editorial independence may be compromised, with potential firings of reporters like Caitlin Collins linked to political pressure, especially from the Trump administration. Meanwhile, widespread protests in France, marked by Palestinian flags and coordinated unrest, are being viewed as politically organized, raising alarms about extremism and foreign influence. Skydance’s new leadership is expected to drive significant transformation in newsrooms, prioritizing digital innovation, cost-cutting, and agility over traditional models. This shift marks a pivotal moment for American journalism, with deep implications for editorial integrity, journalistic independence, and the future of public media.

The deal closed. So now CNN has a brand new owner, an owner that is, how do I say this, a Trump ally? You can imagine the hysteria that's going on there right now. I mean, there's a lot to talk about. People are saying, you know, this one's going, this one's staying, this one's definitely out. And now we learn that Elon Musk is being invited to be part of this equity syndicate. I'll explain what that means and what his role might be in the company. Welcome to the program, we're also going to talk about what's unfolding in France. Whoa! Okay. Wow! So some unbelievable video coming into us from Elon Musk's program, that particular scene is in Leon. And I'm just asking a question here. Is this really organic? How did it start? And what role did extremism, I'm just going to say it, okay, play in it. And should we be looking at France and asking the question of whether we want that back here at home? I think we all know the answer to that and new updates on Cornell, welcome to the program. CNN has an official new owner, the deal just closed today. It's trading under the ticker symbol S, K, Y, D. So it's called Skydance and we've been talking about this for weeks, I told you it was going to happen. I had a feeling this deal would indeed happen. And you see, there's talk that Elon might get in because there is talk of private owners coming in, not on the publicly traded side, on the privately traded side. Again, just to jog your memory, there's a big deal, $110 billion paramount, which Skydance had previously bought paramount, which owns CBS, coming in and closing on that purchase of Warner Brothers Discovery today. So now you get a new brand new company called Skydance. And this is the company that has moved to the New York Stock Exchange under that ticker symbol S, K, Y, D. And what does this mean? It means it's CNN and CBS news are all sitting under the same roof, well, not literally, but eventually they will be, trust me. They are all controlled by David Ellison and his father, Larry, and also Redbird Capital, which holds some of the voting shares as well. I think it works out to the Ellison having a little more than 70% and Redbird having somewhere in the 20s. Anyway, if Elon comes in, okay, if Elon comes in and reports say that he has indeed been approached, he wouldn't be buying control. He would be buying a private piece of this company, but it would certainly send a message now wouldn't, so two weeks ago, Semaphore had reported that Paramount executives had discussed asking Elon Musk to join that syndicate of equity investors. And I told you about it at the time and it made all the sense, right? In the world because Elon is, you know, just a handful of people that you could go to and say, hey, you know, buddy, if you get a few billion hanging around, can you help me out? And David Ellison and Larry Ellison were apparently considering him because right now Larry Ellison is personally guaranteed from more than 40 billion of the equity financing. Now, that's a big stake, right? Because this whole deal was 110 billion. He stuck with 40 billion. And that was a big part of it in that he was guaranteeing it. And that guarantee was key to getting to the finish line because, you know, one of brother's discovery was like, well, you know, we don't want to take a bid unless this money is real. Like, we want a real cash. And so Larry pledged his own fortune. This is the dad, Oracle software and said, okay, my son's going to do this deal and I am going to back it. And so that's where that money is coming from. So why are they going to Elon Musk right now? Well, Larry doesn't want to fork over 40 billion, right? And he also doesn't want to dump it onto the public market because if you dump 40 billion onto the public market, well, you know, you suddenly are going to tank the stock. Think about that because, you know, supply and demand and all of a sudden you're like, here you go, everybody. You want a share of SKYD and then it's just going to completely tank and that won't be good for anyone. It would totally crush the stock price. So now he's looking at doing a private deal and a private deal would be with somebody that he knows and he trusts somebody like Elon Musk. I mean, they go back years and years and years and don't forget this is a little bit of, you know, you owe me because Ellison is the one that put up a billion dollars when Elon Musk went out and bought Twitter. And by the way, he also invested in Tesla and he sat on the Tesla board for a while. So I will say that we don't know what the number is going to be. But I would watch it very carefully and I'm going to stay watching it, the filings because that would be a very sort of interesting wrinkle to all of this. And actually perhaps a necessary one. I mean, I think that Elon's thinking about media and entertainment in a very innovative way. And when you look at CNN, let's just face it, like that's not exactly what we would call innovative, right? That is sort of a business model. I've said it before that's been stuck in the 1980s and, you know, it was revolutionary at the time. But you got to keep changing and you got to keep pace with how things are developing and moving along. And so Elon recognizes that. I think David from what my sources have told me does as well, David also recognizes the cost-cutting opportunity, he wants, and it's not just cost-cutting because he wants to actually just do this cheaply and more cheaply than, you know, like, I mean, I told you, I used to work at CBS. So you know, any time you would travel to Tim Buck too to cover a hurricane or something, you'd get a 10 second live shot on the evening news and they would spend thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars for your live truck so that you could have that little satellite feed, right? That's totally different now. Because all you need is really a phone, right? You just need to be able to be able to access the Internet. I get it, like, in hurricane situations, it can be a little bit more difficult, but there are new workarounds now because the technology's there. So news is changing, entertainment's changing, and Elon Musk gets that, David Ellison gets that, and I have a feeling that there's going to be a lot of changes, massive changes coming there at SkyDance. I got to call it SkyDance, right? So CNN is now owned by SkyDance. When they got to work this morning, I'm told that the computer screens changed and everything everybody had, like, SkyDance on their computer screen, and of course, that is the company that controls them now. So you can imagine the intensity of emotion within the building. People are really nervous. They're nervous about their jobs or also nervous about their profession, right? Because journalism has changed so drastically from back in the day, back in the day when we all knew it, right? Or, you know, you think about what I'm doing now here, and this is just kind of an incredible move, incredible ability to go direct to you in ways that you still can't in network television or network news. And that is something that the CNNs of the world just don't quite know how to manage. On top of that, you have all of these citizen journalists out there that are contributing to the news cycle. And when I show you some of this video that's coming in from Paris and from Lyon and other places in France, that's part of that journalist citizen journalist, news cycle that is all over the world now. And so when you look at CNN with all its really expensive bureaus in all these different places, you got to say to yourself, right, can we do that or can we follow a different model? I mean, think about what I'm doing here live, coming live to you. This is amazing, and I don't have to have a 22-minute and 30-second show with all the commercials rounding out to 30 to give you the evening news, I can go however long I want or however short I want. I mean, it's a completely different animal. It blows me away all the time. And I think to myself, I don't even know what's coming, right, Luke? We don't even know how much this is going to continue to change in the future. A quick reminder, a shameless reminder to get you to subscribe and to like because the likes help the algorithm, you guys, you got to make sure you like it. Usually dawns in the chat and it reminds me to say that. Anyway, yes, squeaky bottom-time at CNN, Clive says, very, very squeaky. In other words, it's going to get tough. It's going to get tough. They're going to start to look at the business overall. And when they look at that business, they're trying to figure out who should be there and who actually is worth being there because they're paying a lot of money for some of these people. Believe it or not. I know. It's kind of a shocker. But yeah, a lot of these people are rather costly and so they're going to have to reexamine that if you would and kind of figure out what is the best course of action because you can probably do it a heck of a lot more cheaply and also a heck of a lot more innovatively. Yeah, innovation, right? I mean, guys, think about it. You got tech investors coming in. You've got Elon Musk, possibly waiting in the wings here. And so you think they're going to stand by and have this old media company? No, no, no, no, no. You got new blood, new money, right? And you're possibly going to get the big contour in Elon. I'll tell you, if you write a check, you're going to have the world's richest man owning a piece of the parents of CNN and CBS and I'm going to tell you that will be quite something like it will be something. Imagine how scary that is for the people that work that remember what happened when he took over at X and he had 80% of jobs just wiped out guns or right away. Same thing could happen, right? I mean, regardless of what happens, I can tell you, the elephants, they want to get the most out of CNN. And they know right now it is stuck in 1986, right? So they are gonna figure out how to fix this. And by the way, they already have a plan to fix this. And I can tell you, the plan is gonna involve some musical chairs, musical chairs happening at CNN. So who gets to stay and who gets to go? You know, they have a guy named Mark Thompson over there. Mark Thompson is a former print reporter, I do believe, that joined the ranks. And here he is, you see him pictured with David Ellison. And it says, "Mark Thompson, to stay on after I listen, take over, but some insiders are skeptical. The network just won't change course." CNN's Mark Thompson announced Monday that he will be staying on. As the networks chairman and editor-in-chief, but some insiders were skeptical of his assurances that the left-leaning network would actually stay as it was. Of course, it's not gonna stay as was, okay? I'm gonna tell you right now, it's changing. Times are a changing. I mean, you may get Mark there for a few more months or until spring, I think his contract's up in the spring. I don't mean to be glib, but I don't know as the place is like light in the world on fire. It could be wrong, maybe Mark's got a ton of ideas and we just haven't heard him yet. But the point is, is that he's going to stay on for a little while. A lot of people thought he wouldn't. A lot of people thought it was all gonna go to Barry Weiss. Barry Weiss is the one who runs the free press. She came from the New York Times where she was an opinion editor and now she's over at CBS and thinks have not gone, how shall we say? So well, in CBS, right? Like, my voice isn't bloating. And I told you it was gonna happen. I mean, I actually like her law and I think that what she's built with the free press is amazing and I think she's thinking about news differently. The problem is she doesn't know TV. And in TV, you get all these TV personalities and they're big personalities. And when you're talking CBS news and the legacy of the place in 60 minutes and everybody's got a giant size ego. And in print, I'm just gonna tell you 'cause I've worked with print reporters and I've worked with TV reporters. And they are just two different animals. I don't know what happens. You put a camera in front of somebody, right? And a light and all of a sudden, they're just like massive ego. And so it's hard to manage that. I've always said that. I feel for the producers that are trying to run one of these shops because you have some very competitive reporters and on-camera people and everybody wants their, however many minutes of fame and everybody's competing and you're trying to kind of contain the inmates in the asylum, if you would. So she's got her work cut out for her. And Thompson does as well. Like if he's a print guy and he's there at CNN, he's managing a TV operation that's increasingly going to need to become more and more digital heavy. So he's gonna stay on after this takeover. He's there another day, but everyone's very skeptical about what is the future of the network, of course. And I have some ideas on that because I do think that there will be some people moving. As I told you, the contract for him is up in the spring, but he's been in talks with executives to renew his terms. We'll see if they get there. That's according to reporting from the New York Times. Thompson has also said, I guess, to employees that the specifics of how CNN will plug into an operate in the new company have yet to be finalized since the merger process is ongoing, but we will have the same responsibilities and prerogatives that I have now. Okay, same responsibilities and prerogatives. Okay, they do want to save costs. And so the sources that New York Post spoke to suggested that would be a big part of whatever was coming next, saving on costs. And that's why everybody was sort of surprised to see that CNN has its own manager staying on. And CBS has its own manager staying on. So you have Mark Thompson at CNN. You have Barry Weiss at CBS, but I'm just gonna say, like realistically, how long do you really do that for? Unless you want to take the two companies in totally, totally, totally different directions. And you could, I mean, you certainly could, but you've got two news organizations. And it seems to me that what would make the most sense is to synergize those news organizations and to synergize those costs and thereby cut costs. And so you're gonna be cutting jobs and cutting personnel. And that is something that scares both sides. Okay, so you're dealing with a few things here. You've got on the one hand a completely changing industry. Like CNN, if it doesn't change, if CBS doesn't change, it's just gonna be out of business, right? Like it's gonna go the way of the milkman or the wagon. Like things are changing and the future of media is over here. I don't know for how long. I mean, it could be another five years or another 10. I'll be here no matter what, okay? You'll still see me. Make sure you subscribe and make sure you subscribe and you hit the bell. And then my producer was telling me 'cause a lot of you guys are like, I can't find you, I can't find you, go to your subscriptions feed. Because if you go to your subscriptions feed, the only thing you will see on your home screen, that's it will be those that you follow. So that's one way, that's one work around. We also post the show to the top of the page every day, usually in the four o'clock hour. So be on the lookout for that. But bottom line, they're worried about the future of the industry and they're worried about their jobs like next month. And so this is a lot of pressure for these folks. I guess for now, and I say only for now, because I'm not so sure that Mark is gonna last, I don't know if Barry is gonna last, honestly. Like it's very unclear what the future for any of these guys happens to be accordance in your post reporting. A lot of people inside the building at CBS were very, very disappointed. They didn't get CNN. They wanted to get their hands on CNN. And one of the reasons allegedly is because David Ellison seems to think that the CBS manager, Barry, has a little too much going on, right? Like she's got her hands full. And I would say she does have her hands full. She's got 60 minutes imploding, right? And everybody leaving and the ratings down. And it's just a disaster over there. So she's gonna do what she can to kind of give the wheels on the bus and write the ship. And that might make an opportunity for someone like Mark to maybe even go bigger. Maybe he takes over the whole kitten caboodle. I don't know. But I would say that these are the things that they are worried about. We've talked about this before. Christian Almondpur and Brian Stelter almost like sending a warning. Last week to David Ellison, like you better not give us Barry Weiss. We saw what she did to CBS. Don't even think about it, buddy boy, here they are. We have also seen this movie. We have seen the Paramount Skydance Ellison takeover of CBS news first. And we've seen what their view of editorial independence has meant. Essentially a wholesale reorientation of the personnel. And as far as we can gather, the editor-in-chief's views on what editorial independence looks like. And there's been a huge amount of criticism about what it has transpired to be. I was actually surprised to see that this deal also adds the editorial board function for CBS. I mean, I thought the CBS thing was kind of done and dusted. That's a very interesting point. This is a partly as a result of these state attorneys general negotiating over the weekend. For example, in Connecticut, the attorney general William Tongue, he says in a statement-- He's talking about an editorial board that's coming in, so there will be an editorial-- this is to satisfy all the lefties. You had an agent, Connecticut, an agent out in California that were like, oh my gosh, you can't have the Ellison taken over CNN, oh my gosh, what's going to happen. And so they brought in this editorial board. They're going to have five journalists, two Republicans, two Democrats, and I guess one independent, something like that. And forgive me, I don't know as it's five people. I don't want to misspeak. It's for five years, I believe, that they have this thing functioning. So they want to ensure some kind of transparency and that they have some kind of equalness in terms of who's there. But I'll tell you, they've got their work cut out for them. And they're work cut out for them only in that you are dealing with a legacy company, a legacy company that has a lot of bias, a lot of bias built in. I mean, we saw it over and over and over again. You know who else sees it, by the way. The president of the United States sees it pretty loud. And Claire, here he is, last night, just hours before this company came under his friends' control. And the thing that bothers me the most-- CNN, fake news, and all that looked the light just went out. Every time I mention them, their light goes out. But they have to have us because they get no ratings without us. They're dying. They're dying. And there's no one with an MS now. They changed the name because their ratings were so low. They figured anything's better. We call it MSDNC, Democrat National Committee. MS Democrat Nation. Yeah. OK. Yeah, we do call it that anyway. So he kind of had a few zingers, if you would, for CNN. And he's got some people. He's not too fond of over at CNN. You know that. And so as a result of that, insiders now are taking aim at Caitlin Collins. They're saying, they think Caitlin is going to be the first one out the door. And that that's going to be some kind of prize for the president, like some kind of, hey, this all worked out. We got our deal done. We're going to give you Caitlin. And just to be clear, he definitely doesn't have a lot of love, shall we say, for one Caitlin? Here he is again last night. And the fake news, like CNN sitting right there, the fake news doesn't want to run. (Cheers, applause, cheers, and cheers) Pablo. She's such an unhappy person, you know. She's a young, nice person, but she never smiles. She's a very unhappy person. So, who's he talking about? Well, just in case you weren't sure, the White House wanted you to know, that would be one Caitlin Collins. She's such an unhappy person, he said, yeah, you know, he keeps running into this with her, and it's not going well, you know, sometimes I've often said this, sometimes it's not the question, it's how you ask it. So, Maria Bortaramo would get away with asking all kinds of important things, and sometimes things that would be considered combative, but she did it with a smile on her face. He wants, you know, I think I'm kind of the same way, I remember when I interviewed him, and Leslie Stahl from 60 Minutes had just interviewed him the day before, and I think I was on Monday, and she was on Sunday, and he called me up after, and he's like, Trish, we made so much, oh my gosh, you mean so much news off of that, because we were talking about the fat or something, but he's like, it's amazing. And the truth is, I did, and he made a lot of news, and it was because I got a lot from him, because the way I asked the questions, it wasn't this antagonistic, pouty, you know, angry sort of directed emotional garbage, right? Like, you know, you and I say that, because I look at some of these interviews, right? And they're like, oh, I'm out to get you, I'm out to get you, you're never going to get anything from anyone like that, like just, you know, be natural, and maybe smile occasionally, nothing against Caitlin, by the way, you know, she's just trying to do her job, I get it, like, she's being sent there, she has to ask questions, and it's not easy, she's not a natural on camera, I'm going to be honest, she's really not a natural on camera. And, you know, consequently, the anxiety, perhaps that she has, maybe asking these questions, translates into her body language, and how she's asking the questions, and so it's become kind of a difficult relationship. Don't forget CNN, they had just been taken out of the pool camera, and then they decided to team up with all the networks, and everybody was going to basically go on strike, and not be at any of the UN stuff, and somehow she showed up anyway, and boy, he, he gave it to her once. And he had a view, hold it, hold it, I'll see, and then fake this. Do you think that self-pleasing is not the worst? Look, Dario has been fantastic, and he agrees with everyone, I mean, we all agree. That was actually, oops, I get carried away, so you're on set, I'm throwing things around and everything. That was actually him with the AI executives, but let me go back to him with Caitlin Collins there at the UN, because that's a good one. So it's an honor to be here, I'm surprised that CNN is here covering me, you shouldn't be here, you should not, you should not be here covering me, you said you weren't going to cover me, you shouldn't be covering me, but I will tell you, it is an honor to be at the United Nations, and we're making a lot of progress, our country's doing really, really well. Thank you very much, everybody. You're surprised he didn't turn around. Shuttle the War. I'm surprised he didn't turn around and say again, you're not supposed to be here, anyway. So they've had this like back and forth that's been going for a while, and he's not a big fan of hers, I gotta tell you, she's a zillion times better than Jim Acosta, like that was a good trade, right? Like I'm sorry, and I used to work with Jim actually at CBS, and that was back before anybody became so afflicted with TDS. I can't tell you how many people that I once, you know, considered pretty upstanding professionals, and then they got all this TDS, and I'm like, you know, you're kind of out off the reservation, shall we say, out and left field quite literally in more ways than one. Thank you, sir, for the algorithms, yeah. Every bit helps for the algorithms, trust me, I'm learning a lot about algorithms as I experience this whole new media profession. Anyway, it's much appreciated. I gotta tell you, like, so there are people that are in this business, and I don't know what happened. I'm beginning to think it was really the change in the Smith Month Act. If you want to know more about that, you can go back and watch yesterday's program, because we got into this, Mike Pence has been all over this, and I went through the Smith Month Act, which basically allowed for propaganda to be used internationally, and then Obama, with Obama, in 2012 changed that rule, so by 2013, the propaganda was being pushed onto us here in the United States, and so I fast-forward to 2016, and like, the propaganda was in full play, right? Full, full play, and so I think that some people are just not especially good at thinking for themselves, and that's effectively where that shook out. But as for Caitlyn, I get to tell you, it seems like the knives are out, and I want to defend her for a minute, actually, because I don't like the idea that this whole building, and actually the CBS building too, is actually increasingly leaking things about her, and they seem to think that the president would be satisfied if the Ellison's just got rid of Caitlyn Clark. Forgive me, another Caitlyn on my mind. Caitlyn Collins, we love Caitlyn Clark. I think this is kind of important to note. Here is the source over at CBS talking to the New York Post saying they were speculating on the potential for shakeups at CNN. It all depends on Trump. I don't really think so, but whatever. If he throws more tantrums, etc., maybe Ellison will feel like he needs to appease him. There may be some symbolic offerings to Trump, the person used, firing Caitlyn Collins, or something like that. Why her? Because, you know, in the scheme of things, I can think of some more people that you might want to take a hard look at. You know, I just have a few ideas. Starting with, is Jake Tapper going to be out? Is Jake Tapper really the one that you want to get? I mean, if you're going to change the newsroom, talking about Johnny come lately, he's like whatever the story is, it's going to make him money in the moment. I will not forget how he held Biden up. Like Biden was, you know, the second coming for goodness sakes, and then poor Lara goes on, and Lara goes on to explain that, you know, he's not really all there, and he's not dealing with a complete, you know, a complete, actual capacity to do anything. And he pounded her. Okay. Remember this guy's remember because this sets the tone for the rest of the whole darn newsroom. Every time he comes on stage or they turn to him, I'm like, Joe, can you get it out? Let's get the words out, Joe. You kind of feel bad for him. How do you think it makes little kids with stutters feel when they see you make a comment like that? First and foremost, I had no idea that Joe Biden ever suffered from a stutter. I think what we see on stage with Joe Biden, Jake is very clearly a cognitive decline. Okay. That's what I'm referring to. It makes me uncomfortable. You have, you have no. It's so amazing. It's so amazing to me that and try and figure out an answer. A cognitive decline. I'm trying to tell me that what I was suggesting was I think you were mocking his stutter. Yeah, I think you were mocking his stutter. And I think you have absolutely no standing to diagnose somebody's cognitive decline. It's but I would think that somebody in the front family would be more sensitive to people who do not have medical licenses, diagnosing, politicians from afar. Plenty of people have diagnosed your father from afar. And I'm sure it defends you your father-in-law from afar. I'm sure it defends you. You don't have any standing to say. I'm not noticing now. What I'm saying, Jake, is that a cognitive decline? You just talked about a cognitive decline. I have one last question for you, Laura. You can't have times on stage. And it's very concerning to a lot of people that this could be the leader of the free world. Okay. That is all I'm saying. I genuinely feel sorry for Joe. I appreciate it. I'm sure. He's a jerk. Okay, what a jerk. What a complete excuse my friends. You know what? I mean, wow, what a total jerk. And by the way, just for the record, then he came out grandstanding to tell us this. There is a pattern, discernible pattern of democratic officials seemingly trying to convince you, the public, to not believe what you saw and what you heard with your eyes and with your ears on Thursday "The total initiative relative to what we're going to do with more border patrol and more cyber officers." President Trump? "I really don't know what he said at the end of this end. I don't think he knows what he said either." Democratic officials have tried to spin this in many ways, as they said, President Biden just had a cold. They said it was just one off-night akin to when President Obama in 2012 was rusty and seemed a little huffing. But behind the scenes make no mistake, most Democratic officials witnessed the same shocking spectacle that you did. The difficulty that the presumptive Democratic nominee, the current President of the United States, had just articulating his basic thoughts during the 90 minutes of the debate. "I mean, I said it in the chat, if you're going to pick someone, forget to say it, you're going to be Caitlin over him. I think you need to get rid of him. I'd start with him." All right? Because I don't think that he's doing any favors. And I think he's incredibly disingenuous. And it's whichever way the wind blows. I mean, he later came out with a book as though he knew the whole time that the Biden was going downhill when he just waited until the 11th hour. I'm sorry. Like that is just somebody who's willing to do anything in the moment and you need to be careful of people like that. I do think that there's a responsibility to be somewhat true to yourself in this business. And I'm not saying you get to be raw raw for anyone. I happen to like this president's policies. I happen to think he's kind of, you know, a self-deprecating guy who takes care of America very, very seriously. And I actually like all the policies he's put in place on the economic front and on the international front. So that's me. If I see something I don't like, I tell you, okay? But with Jake, I don't know what the there there is. I don't know what he likes, what he doesn't like, because it seems that he only likes what his handlers are telling him to like so that he can caching cash his little paycheck. And that's why when I talk about being disingenuous, I mean, he certainly seems it. And that's the whole problem, if you would, with television news these days, because they're reading off of prompters, they're reading a script, they're reading things that their producers have put into the prompter for them how much input they have. I can tell you, I mean, like, look, full disclosure, full transparency here on the show, I build this entire show myself. I am, I mean, I have somebody who helps me cut the show after so that all the clips you see, et cetera, helps a lot with that. But every single sound bite, I find it. I literally find it. And when I was at Fox, I was dying because I worked so hard there too. And literally I would write every I had to, they wanted to see my scripts, you know, management, but I wrote every single script myself because I'm not going to farm that out to a group of 20 something year olds who aren't going to be able to convey something the way I would convey it. Like I can't farm that out as for finding all the sound bites in this and that. I do that too. You know why? Because I care about it then. Like, I'm the one looking, you know, I have some friends help along the way, you know, if they see something good, send it my way. But I really, I think it's so important because this is actually the new model and I have a heck of a lot more fun. I think you know that. Sometimes I turn into Picasso, they were Renoir and I just keep painting and painting the show and finding more and more sound bites to give you and I'm like, wait a second, I get to go actually do this. But the point is, is like, this is so incredibly different and it's so rewarding and it's so much fun. And I don't think that any of that comes through in these big networks and I don't think it ever will. So as we look at this deal closing, I think there's going to be some big, big changes ahead. I think they're going to have to make them. But for what we know right now, Mark Thompson is staying at CNN. David Weiss is going to be staying at CBS and both are going to report to David Ellison and everybody's looking at Caitlin Collins, maybe she's going to go because she's a sacrificial limb. I don't think they should make her the sacrificial limb and I bet you Trump wouldn't like that because he's no fool, right? He knows where the problem starts and you got to go back to New York City to find the end and DC in part to find some of those bigger problems. So if Jake is the one who's setting the tone in the newsroom, he's the one that gets to decide to end Biden's career with his big, you know, raw, raw, raw, but he also kept him in. And that is actually the person that you need to be looking at more carefully and I think that David and his dad will in fact do that. So there's going to be some challenges ahead, shall we say, they're at CNN. There's also some challenges, believe it or not, at Fox, Fox is taking some heat right now from the president of the United States and I'll tell you, this is one complicated relationship. I mean, really, really complicated relationship because on the one hand, Caroline Levit is going there. That was just announced this week. She's going to be going to Fox as a contributor. I told you she would remember, I said it kind of is the only thing that makes sense. So I mean, I wish you wanted to start her own thing, but she's only 29 and actually you can learn a ton. If you go there, you can learn a ton. I feel like I'm able to run a show the way I run a show in part because of all my years and years of training in that bad, awful, regular mainstream media. So, you know, power to her, she's going to go there and the president wants her to go there and that's all good. But then at the same time, you think about what happened with Maria Varda Romo, the wonderful Maria Varda Romo who I am proud to have counted as a colleague and still count as a friend who was at both CNBC with me as well as Fox Business. I almost said Bloomberg, but actually she wasn't, I was at Bloomberg and I used to compete against her show. So, I had the three to five o'clock market closed show. They offered me the morning and I'm like, no, you think I can get out that early in the, I mean, I'm up that early in the morning. Do you think I can like look like this that early in the morning? Because then you have to get out but like, oh, I don't know, four, right? Because you're doing all your research and stuff. No, no, no, no. I was like, I need late afternoon. So, I did the market closed show and we were competitors then. And then I went to Fox and I worked with her there and got to know her very well and she's just an incredible person. So she got tossed, think about that like really unceremoniously. And I say that because the way they fed these stories to the papers and I say they, because those leaks were coming from inside the building, I'm pretty sure. So she did like 12 and a half years there and then all of a sudden, boom, presto, you know, Sinara, Adios, see you later and then they leaked a bunch of stories about her suggesting that she had just two hunky-doria relationship with the White House and it was because of something that she told them that she was then out. I don't know what to believe. I can tell you that her lawyer has said she wasn't fired and I could back that up because when I was shown the door, I actually wasn't fired. You couldn't fire me. I had a contract and I hadn't done anything that would be of fireable offense. I mean, in her case, you wonder if they're going to fight that and say, well, you know, we could fire you because you leaked this. In my case, I gave them my script before I went on in March 2020 to talk about why I thought that the COVID stuff was like getting out of hand and CNN was making it. It's plain special and, you know, I was right. They were going to politicize the movement. I was right and, you know, I paid a price, but all's well that ends well because I'm over here, right? Anyway, Maria apparently communicated with Peter and Navarro and the next thing you know, she's out of a job after 12 and a half years. So Donald Trump is not happy about that. He has posted something on true social and then over the weekend, he was doing a rally and it was on Sunday and normally she would have covered that rally. And instead Fox didn't cover the rally and he got a little bit annoyed. So he put out a post and said whoever was making the decisions at Fox News must be the same loser who fired Maria Bartoromo because she complained about not being allowed to cover him. So he's like, you know, he's literally had it with Fox right now because of Maria. So I have a feeling the Caroline deal was already done and that was already in place and the ink was dry on that one, but he's angry about how they handled Maria. He was angry about how they handled me. Look, I mean, it is what it is. It's a business, right? At the end of the day and they're trying to protect their business at all costs, but he's not too happy with it. And when I say protect their business, think about that for a second because where I'm going with this is all about the business watch committee, but they look and they see and they fight and what they've done to this country is so bad. But you know, the more middle and right, they're always putting like Elsa and was interviewed just a little while ago on a certain network. I won't tell you which way they let this guy talk, talk, talk. They hardly fight them at all. Why are they putting these people on our television networks? Why? They always have to put just a guitar off another loser. They put, they put, no, they put these voices on and you know, some of our guys defend. A lot of our guys don't defend because they want to get on to the next question. And it's really bad. I think it's really bad. I think there's no reason to do it. It's not better entertainment. You know, they say they like to project both sides. But the other side doesn't project both sides. They never have any of us on television. So I think they should stop doing it less. So he's really taking aim at it. these L. Syed interviews. There was another one that he was not too happy about. And of course, Jesse put L. Syed on his show. And he's kind of questioning like why they're doing this. In the case of L. Syed here, he said Fox News spends more time covering the jihadists and Democrat candidates than they do the good old fashioned Republicans, the people that have saved America and are making it great again. All they talk about is Democrat jihadists like L. Syed with a softball interview by Martha McComb and the like. She had never interviews me like that. He said, I actually think that she did ask him some good questions. I'm going to show you part of that in a bit. They don't show my record breaking rallies the morning after, but others do. And that's what MAGA is watching. Fox is promoting the Democrats, not the Republicans in MAGA. They've totally lost their way. Well, you know what? I think their ratings have not been quite. I mean, they're still on top compared to it's you know, you're the pretty girl at the dance and no one's all that hot. Okay. So you're up against some rather slim pickings like we're talking CNN and MS now Fox. I hope you could do better than those guys. So they have not been down. Actually, their numbers have suffered rather significantly. So you wonder if they're kind of leaning into something else or if by leaning into something else has actually cost them their ratings. I think Trump would say you guys are a bunch of fools and you don't get what rates. And because you don't get what rates you're destroying your business. And by the way, you might be destroying the Republican party. I mean, I don't believe that because I think that there are enough ways to get your news. Thank you. Come on over here that you do not have to rely on something like Fox or CNN or MSNBC. This is not like part of the mainstay diet anymore. There's podcasting. By the way, I'm going to put if I didn't put this the Spotify link to me a favor at the end of the show. Make sure you subscribe to Spotify because I'm there every day and we're in the top. We're in the top 50. How do you like that of all the news shows in the world? What do you know? So that's pretty good. But I think that there are just so many other ways to get your information. You don't have to go to Fox News anymore. You absolutely don't. And so he's just saying like, what are you people doing? What are you thinking? Why do you keep on doing this? And then he came out with another whammy today. Fox News is long forming, interviewing the sleaze bag. I don't know. Who is this guy? Dan Osborne right now who is running against our great Republican Senator Pete Ricketts from Nebraska. Why are they doing this? Three question marks. Okay, so this is an interesting point. And he's making the point that if there are any Republicans out there, they're probably watching Fox. And now they're getting fed a bunch of stuff from Dan Osborne. And any Republicans of Michigan are getting fed stuff on Fox of L Said. And I would remind you that Fox has absolutely no obligation whatsoever. None to show both sides. I mean, it's cable. Okay, it's not ABC news. It's not the view, which is broadcast on ABC and as a product of the news division. Fox doesn't need to show L Said and yet they're doing that. They don't need to show the Democrat. So why are they doing that? I actually have a theory on this. I think Fox is actually nervous that the Republicans will not win. And I think Fox is very much looking out for Fox. Remember I said earlier, it's a business after all. And so I know this. I mean, having been there as many years as I was, they are very aware of which way the wind is blowing. And for them, in some ways, it's easier to take aim to have an enemy. And when you get an enemy, you can keep taking aim at that enemy. So that may be motivating part of the programming. And then part of the programming might be, okay, we want to make nice with people. We want to make sure that we have friends in high places. Just in case any of these people win, we don't want to have all kinds of inquisitions into us and our style. And so that may also be part of the methodology that's going on behind the scenes. But the president has kind of had it. And he's calling them out in a pretty big way. I would say that this is a complicated relationship. They are very aware of, from my time there, not seeming like they are too cozy, cozy with the administration. But that's hard because you know, you go to the China state dinner and Laura's there. And I don't know if Hannah, you went to that one. And his new wife, right, who is the Fox and friends morning anchor, lovely woman, Ainsley, and Jesse's great and Laura's great. And they're all there, you know, at the White House. And that makes it tricky for Fox because they're trying to say, no, you know, we don't have it. We're hands off. And so they are just walking this thin line. They can't be drinking the Kool-Aid. And yet they are. Right. So this is a case of a business. And again, it's a business that wants to have its cake and eat it too. That wants to string all the viewers along and say, we love Trump. We love Trump. We love Trump. But you know, maybe we really don't love Trump. And so they're conflicted because they get this news division. The news division, which has a responsibility to try and present both sides. And then they have the opinion division, which is like, okay, we love Trump. And so they're coming out occasionally in this no man's land. And that is what Donald Trump is tapping in on. That is why he is slamming them in this newest post today that they are, you know, they're losing their way that MAGA is now being forced to sit through all these interviews with, as he calls them, Democrats, Giannis. I mean, like L. Said. I actually have some stuff I want to show you on his background today that is at least to me, I'm just going to say this, like nobody is defined by their family, but I'm a little concerned with some of the alliances that L. Said has. And I think we should just be eyes wide open, fully aware, especially in light of some of the stuff that's going on around the world now. When I say around the world, I'm talking about France and those protests because I don't think those are organic. I don't think these were a bunch of kids. I think this was started by some very smart people that wanted to take advantage of the situation. And given everything that's happened there, the environment is right. Right for this kind of takeover, if you would. And this is why you have some politicians, Brandon Gilzman, out in front of this one, trying to protect us from so-called Sharia law actually being instituted in any way, shape or form in our country. Because when you see the answer, for example, that L. Said gave to Martha McCallum when she asked him, oh, I'll just, I was going to play it later, but I will play it now when she asked him about the Muslim brotherhood and whether he would designate this a terror organization. This was a very good question. And I wanted to see how he hedges. He hedges this whole thing. He won't just say, yes, there are terror organizations. Check this out. The United States has terror designations on Muslim brotherhood organizations in Lebanon, Egypt and Jordan. So if you become a US senator, will you support those terrorist designations of those groups in order to support US national security? I think terrorism is the act of political violence. So I will support a terror designation for any organization that is engaged in or committed to political violence. Do you support the designations of the Muslim brotherhood in those countries? I want to understand, show me that any organization is engaged in political violence. I will back a terrorist organization. So on October 7th, the Egyptian chapter of the Muslim brotherhood called for violent attacks against the United States, its partners in interest, the Jordanian Muslim brotherhood supported Hamas. So they threatened Americans living in the region and our partners. Do you stand by those designations? As I said, any organization engaged in political violence or calling for political violence is engaged in terrorism and I would support those designations. All right. He would not say that they engaged in political violence or any violence, right? He would not say that. So that's the upshot there. Just remember that as we turn to this next story because you need to think about who might be in charge as France falls to protesters who have taken over the streets. It is unbelievable. The video that's coming into us everywhere from Bordeaux to Lyon to Mercedes to Paris itself. I mean, this is unbelievable and they say it's going to get worse tomorrow. Let's just show you a snippet here. Absolutely unbelievable stuff. Okay. So protesters taking to the streets, they have shut down 2,000 schools today, 2,000 high schools because these students are out protesting. And his Nile Gardner went on Fox and said Nile is the former, he was on the staff of Margaret Thatcher. We love Margaret Thatcher, right? She's the one who coined the phrase eventually with socialism. You run out of other people's money. Anyway, Nile was on Fox earlier today as some of these pictures were coming in and he nailed it. He basically said they've got a real serious problem and you're going to have to maybe see the military intervene. And in my view, the government should be deploying the military to take back control of French cities because these are riots on a massive scale. Okay, so that is a really fluid and bad situation and you're looking at these protesters just taking over the streets. One of the things I want to [BLANK_AUDIO] note. And when I say, I don't think this is like an organic student movement, it's because of where this happened. Marseille is a very, very heavily African influenced. I was just there doing some research and reporting and traveling this past summer. And Marseille is, well, let's just say, you know, everywhere you went, you heard very loud African drums in the streets. And everybody was dressed in sort of a lot of traditional African costumes. I mean, they did not feel French. And I was like, wait a second, like, this is France. And it just doesn't feel French. So that is where a lot of this originated. And so you have this coming out of these very heavily Muslim neighborhoods. And I'm just asking here, if you think about what's going on in the world and you put two and two together, you got a question, the role of the Palestinian movement and all of this. At some point when Nile was speaking, there was a Palestinian flag that went by the screen. And that is important to note, because many of these Palestinian flags have been popping up in this footage. And he explains, yes, the role of the Palestinian liberation movement is one that we need to be questioning, and we need to be zeroing in on, because this is very organized, right, for something that's supposed to be just a bunch of organic protest watch. >> No, excuse me, there was a flag that went by and it wasn't the flag of France. I mean, what is going on down there? And you're talking about, did you see it go by? I mean, this looks like something different. You said the word insurrection. I mean, we've had pictures and video of schools and things that are damaged, but this is live right now. And you see some of the enforcements behind the line that they're trying to keep with this tear gas, Nile. >> Yeah, exactly. And you are seeing the Palestinian flag being waived all over France right now. And there's no doubt about it that the pro-Palestinian, the pro-Hamas movements are actively involved in these riots, actually. And this is not only the heart of France here, the Paris, but also the heart of the European Union as well. And you're seeing, you know, Europe descending, the heart of Europe descending into a state of anarchy, huge levels of violence and disorder. And it's an absolute disgrace what you're seeing in France. And it is a nightmare vision of Europe's future as a whole, and potentially also for the United States as well. If the socialists of the far left, if the Islamists gain power in America, this is exactly what we'll have. >> Wow, okay. So that's why, like, these things are related. You get El Saeed running and a whole bunch of other folks running. And you've got, as Nile just said, a correlation there between the Palestinian liberation movement and the protests among these Islamists and this coordination, if you would, with the Marxists. So again, France is just on the first key to the government. Keep seeing these palestinian flags. And this is not the coincidence. There you go. Some more Palestinian flags as these protests break out. So you can see them, and it's awful. Like, it's really, it's just, it's a shame because this is a once great country with a once great culture. And it has basically turned that culture over to a lot of people who are not originally French. And this is the upshot. And you've got this socialism combined with very, very liberal immigration policy that is leading to destruction. I mean, here you see on the walls this is in Paris on one of the town buildings, free Palestine. This is, this is free Congo, free Palestine. I mean, they, they have an agenda. And you get to think about that agenda when you consider this and everybody's like, oh, well, you know, this is just everybody's. And the government, the countries will stop. And these protests don't show any signs of stopping. In fact, tomorrow is supposed to be an even bigger day. We'll see how things progress overnight. But I want to point something out. So you've seen a lot of the protesters with their PLO flags. Well, here's another group of protesters. And you now have sort of the rest of France involved watch. So a lot of these kids and adults look like they were just from citizenship. And they're peacefully protesting, so that's great. And they're upset. They're angry. They have conflict. Social assistance in schools. They don't laugh on the quality of the schools. But I also just have to point out that that's that's the nice stuff, right? You're seeing a lot of nots of stuff. And very weird. Because these people aren't there to say, you know, get more education. You know, if you want more teachers, you don't like assault the actual teachers you have, which is what is going on there. I spoke with a source in Paris just before coming to error with you guys. And the source is actually a teacher there at a high school in Paris. And the source said to me, you know, I would not be surprised to see a real change. And by real change, the source meant Marie Le Pen coming in. And I said, really, you think it could happen. And we've talked about that, Marie Le Pen. You think about the AFD in Germany and the rise there. You think about Malone. I mean, I wish Malone would do more. She's finding a little challenging, I think, but Malone and the rise of Malone and the brotherhood there in Italy. And you think about Nigel Farage and the reform party in the UK. And now you look at Marie Le Pen. And increasingly, we're seeing in those polls, you can't count those polls either, right? Because I think the same thing, like a lot of the people that would support Marie Le Pen don't necessarily trust the pollsters or the institutions when they call them and ask these questions. However, the indications are increasingly that Marie Le Pen is picking up ground there. So you are seeing a real shift in Europe, I hope. I mean, let's hope. Now that the USAID money is out of there, maybe we can actually see some change. Just look at what happened in Brazil, all right? First round down. Next one to go. You look at what's happened in all of Latin America. You know, it's turning increasingly red. It's the red wave. Although in Latin America, they actually call it blue, believe it or not. Maybe red is considered like pinko, you know, the communist. So they don't actually call it red in Latin America. One of you guys on one of the comments mentioned that to me. I'm like, I know, I know. But, you know, we're using some idiomatic expressions in English. So we're going to say, yeah, it's a red wave. This is without USAID money interfering. Imagine that. Look at what can happen. The people actually get a voice and they get to speak up. It's a big part of why I started my financial research company. I was so sick of all the DEI ESG nonsense, getting involved in investing. I'm like, forget to say, it's just by the best companies. Like, it's not that hard. You know, you don't need to have everybody with, you know, purple hair and part of the LGBTQWNBA crowd. I say WNBA only because one of you guys recommended that one day. And I thought that was just perfect because I can never remember all of those letters ever. And I'm not even going to try at this point. But anyway, like, you know, let's just buy good companies that we can see become even better companies, right? Like, that's the goal. Not who is investing properly in the ESG stuff or the DEI stuff. So this is why I created 76 research. Go check it out at your leisure. Three portfolios. They're American, resilience, inflation, protection, income builder, 76research.com. Use my code dollar. Then you get it for a dollar a month for the first two months. It goes to $9.95 thereafter. All right. So here's a question for you. Here's a question for you. Why is it that we have so many Islamists running in the U.S. of A right now, right? Given these riots, like I'm just saying, look at what's going on. In light of it, you got to ask the question very seriously, what are we doing with El Syed, Abdul El Syed making ground a Michigan for goodness sakes? Like, I think that's kind of a problem. Don't you? I want to I want to go back to this sound bite because this was a terrific job by Martha McCollum on Fox. She sat this guy down and she said, listen, you know, why don't you just come out and say like the Muslim brotherhood is a terror organism? You're going to go to the Senate. You're not going to designate these groups that we designate as terror organizations as terrorists for goodness sakes. And he's like, dancing his way. I mean, this is one slippery dude. Watch. The United States has terror designations on Muslim brotherhood organizations in Lebanon, Egypt, and Jordan. So if you become a U.S. Senator, will you support those terrorist as the nations of those groups in order to support U.S. national security? I will back a terrorist designation. So on October 7th, the Egyptian chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood call for violent attacks against the United States its partners in interest. The Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood supported Hamas, and they threatened Americans living in the region and our partners. So do you stand by those designations? But he's not saying that they are engaging in political violence and violence. And so that's why it's kind of slippery here. And so again, I just think about how there's this sort of rise in these Islamic candidates. And I find it a little bit concerning. As did my guest the other day, Dr. Zudy Jasser, let's play a sound bite from Dr. Jasser, who is very concerned. The difference between progressivism and conservatism is progressivist think that you get your rights from government while conservatives believe that we get our rights from God. So that's why the progressivists have been so weighted to the Islamists because you know, substitute government for the clerics and that tribe that's running government than it's Islamists. That's why their arm and arm, the red green axis, the Marxist jihadists work together. My parents, my family have seen this movie before. When Nasser was rising in Egypt, he was a fascist socialism that had ridden the way with the Islamists. Once they get into power, the Marxists and jihadists will have a, you know, a duel at the end, if you will. We see this every time. In Iran, the Tudah party was hung from cranes in 1983, three or four years after the Islamist got into power, but they rode the wave together against the Shah. So this is the issue is that the Marxist Islamist, the Chinese Communist Party works with Iran, Russia works with Iran, the Islamist, the al-Sahids of the world in Michigan, or AOC, work with al-Sahid. So they work together against their primary enemy, which is liberty, which is classical liberalism, freedom, the individualism, free markets, capitalism. - Okay, so it's working against liberty, and that's pretty clear to me. The other thing he brought up, which I think is important, is you gotta look at some of these people that are out there in Congress right now, and, you know, Ilhan Omar comes to mind. He has some real reservations about Ilhan and Rashida to leave, and the possibility that al-Sahid might get in there. And this is somebody I just wanna preface this by saying, Dr. Jasser is somebody who believes in reforming Islam and leads a movement, actually, for Islamic reform. He's a real doctor, not just a PhD or anything. He's like a real medical doctor, and he's running for Congress out in Arizona. But anyway, let me play this for you too, 'cause I think this is important to hear. - You need a firewall in Congress. Now, you not only have Ilhan Omar Rashida played, you've got three more Islamists. Aisha Wahab, taken over Swalwal's seat. So, Swalwal's seat went from a CCP seat to now being an Islamist seat, who is a Taliban sympathizer. Adam Hamawi and New Jersey, the former blind shakes translator, and Andre Carson, so many others that are Islamists in Congress, we need a firewall against them. It's not about Muslim identity. It's about a theocratic ideology that's incompatible with being American. They shouldn't even have security clearances to be tour guides at government facilities. Let alone be in Congress. - I mean, he wasn't joking. He's like, these people do not belong in Congress because they are not on the side of America. And so, this is concerning. Now, what's it gonna mean for Michigan? I mean, I get to tell you, I'm really concerned. I mean, so I thought I was worth doing a deep dive. Like, who is El Said? Dual El Said, and who are his family members? Because there's some things floating around social media and I was like, wow. And I think it's important to hear them. Like, you know, you got a couple of sort of doosies here before we get into his ideology and the reality that he wouldn't even come out and condemned. I mean, remember that? Like so, we're seventh, like he, or was it the war? I think that was another one. Like, he just, he's not, he doesn't like Israel. Let's just say that. And to me, you don't like Israel. You don't like America. I'm like, I kind of have a problem with you going to the Senate, right? I kind of have a problem with you going to the Senate. So, before we even get into the ideology that might be fueling that, I mean, think about who is family is. So, this is his mom. Her name is, she's actually the birth mother. So, that's interesting. I think he was raised by somebody else. The father got the kids. But that's actually common in Middle Eastern households. Like, in the case of divorce, oftentimes, the father gets the kids, because you know, the woman doesn't have any rights at all. So, this is the birth mother. And he was raised by his father and his new wife. And I want you to think about the mother, the father-in-law, the sister-in-law, and his own half-sister. This is the mom. She's fat and fatty, El Comi. And between the years 1999, who 2004, she worked at the Islamic American Relief Agency. I-A-R-A-U-S-A. And this is an agency that in October of 2004, our Treasury Department designated that network, a specially designated global terror organization. Treasury, at the time, said, you know what? The overseas I-A-A-R-A offices are providing hundreds of thousands of dollars to Osama bin Laden. And they did that in 1999. And they tied that network to the support for the Taliban. And they tied that network to moving money as a conduit for Hamas. Her name later appears in these documents. There's a government exhibition list in the federal case against I-A-R-A-U-S-A covering wire transfers and recorded calls. Her name is in there quite a bit. One transfer request and her name was for $24,607 to the Iraq office. Now, I want to be careful and I want to be respectful. She was never charged. She was never named a co-conspirator. The U.S. case itself was about sanctions violations. But the fact that she was working for them and moving money for them just makes me a little trepidaceous, just a little. And I have a right to be. So it wasn't just her. There were others. For example, the sister-in-law, the father-in-law-- I mean, they all kind of had something. And by the way, just to be fair on the mother, I think that she explained part of her story to the St. Louis Post dispatch that she was working on orphan and child programs. She may not have even known in fairness to her. But the problem is, once you get in bed with these guys, there's bad stuff that happens. And you think you're helping orphans and children. And well, it turns out your cash and checks were bin Laden. How do you like that? So she's saying I was just doing charity. She was never prosecuted. But it was a charity that was later blacklisted for terrorist financing. OK. I don't like it. I don't like it. I don't like it at all. Father-in-law. His name is Tayyab Juka Kaku. Really? I'm sure I didn't say that right. But I gave it my best college try. He was the president of CARE, Michigan, for five years, 2005 to 2010. He apparently still sits on the board. And he has served on the founding committee of the Islamic Society of North America. So both CARE and ISNA, you should know, were named as unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas financing case. So it's an affiliate argument about the organizations. Again, it's not a finding that he did anything. But again, these sort of ties are, for me, a little too close to comfort, all right? Because those groups are tied to the Muslim Brotherhood and El Syed himself is not a member. But still, you've got the father-in-law who's the largest individual donor to his campaign, his super PAC, El Syed's super PAC, biggest donor, right? And he's got some funny ties, I'm just saying. So that's something that I think, if he wins, somebody's going to take a really hard look at. The sister-in-law is also sort of questionable. The sister-in-law, according to court filings in 2016. And this was reported by the Federalist. They showed her as a plaintiff in two care lawsuits. And she was apparently, according to her, put on a terrorist screening database. She said that in 2012, her boarding passes had carried the SSS secondary screening stamp that meant she had to get searched repeatedly. And the government was never confirming that she was on the list. And she never confirmed that she was removed. But I would say that I don't think the list comes out of total thin air, right? Like, just saying, it's again. a little too messy for me, just a little too messy, okay? And we haven't even gotten to the half-sister. Oh gosh, the half-sister is some kind of professor or something out at UChicago. And she spit on an anti, well, she spit on an ICE officer at an anti-ice protest at a broadview facility, I guess, in Illinois. And she got charged with felony aggravated battery and prosecutors have said that she knowingly spit on an Illinois state trooper, I guess, he was a state trooper. She pleaded not guilty. She has also written extensively about how she wants a communist society and a stateless society. And she has driven herself to get a lot of criticism from the ADL because of some of the things she said about October 7th. So I'm just saying, like the guys got some weird connections. And I think you gotta think about that when you think about who you're putting it in office. But think about this too, is it all by design? I have a friend who has said this to me repeatedly over the years, okay? My friend is like convinced that the Middle East has been funneling money into colleges so that they're teaching something different. And they've simultaneously been funneling money into organizations that would help promote candidates like in El Said, like a Rashida Tleep, like in Ilhan Omar. And at times I would just be like, okay, you're getting carried away, you're getting carried away, you're getting carried away. And now, as I look at everything that's happening around the world right now, I'm starting to see that some of this might really make sense. And you know what, you don't have to count on me to make sense of it. Let's go to a DSA candidate who said it herself. This woman is running to become a Democrat member representative from Colorado. Her name is Milat Cairo. So at least she's from Egypt originally. And she keeps saying we need to get more people like me and El Said and the rest of them in there in Congress. I mean, these are people that really seem to hate America. And they want more and more of them coming in to run America. That should give you a whole lot of pause. It gives me it. - Do you believe that the 9/11 terrorist attacks on America were the inevitable consequence of American foreign policy? - Inevitable in the sense that we destabilized a lot of the Middle East that forced people to believe that another act of violence was the only response. And again, just like I said before responsibilities to getting rid of those conditions that lead to violence in the first place. - Okay, so you see, it's not me, it's not my crazy friend, who's not that crazy, actually brilliant, brilliantly smart. So I'm adding all this together. And like, why is this happening all of a sudden now? I think they educated a group of people that have this group think. They jammed through all this DEI nonsense. They feel like the timing's right. They have a whole lot more people here in Michigan, right? You need certain demographics in order to get elected. So it's working for them. I'm not saying it's perfect, don't let me say it's perfect. Michigan voters, Michigan voters, when it comes down to it, I'm not so sure they're gonna go for the guy. I don't think that they're gonna want the Islamic socialist out there representing them. And it's all a Michigan that he's got a win here. Including a lot of black Michigan voters. And black Michigan voters don't really go for the whole socialism thing. They don't really want the government taking over everything. And you know, I'll let them say it themselves. Here they are in an interview that they did on MSNBC. I think this was this morning. And you get black American voters in Michigan saying, yeah, you know, we're not all that impressed with Ilsaid, he's not doing it for us. - There's some missed opportunities for him to help us know who he is. Help us understand him. We don't know him. - And I think he's taking advantage of that. - We as black people are democratic. - And he's gonna vote for him anyway. And I'm like no sir, I'm like the uncommitted down on that little circle and move on. - If you're going to Congress to represent me, I need you to talk about what's going on in this community. - Yeah, not like, I don't need you talking about what's going on in Iran. I don't need you talking about what's going on with Hamas or the Muslim brother or this guy or the other. You know what, you kind of need to focus on us. You need to focus on Michigan. Little less on the international front, but I think he's focused on the international front for a reason. So this is what just shocks me. We talked about this a little bit yesterday, these polls, I don't think they're perfect, but I'm looking at the Michigan polls and whoo! I mean, take a look at that. Ilsaid, you mean to tell me this guy's up in the real clear politics average by 3.5%. Are you a kid in me? So, you know, you should watch yesterday's show, if you're interested. I have a whole theory about these polls. I don't think that they capture Republican voters. I don't think that they capture mega voters. I think that most conservatives, they like boom, hang up. Even if it's Fox News calling with the poll. They, you know, Fox might be better and Rasmussen has done a pretty good job. They've even got them down three. I'll just down three compared to Ilsaid. So, I don't think that this is perfect. Suffolk, whoa, they're way out. They say Ilsaid's just gonna win it like all day long plus seven. I don't think you can trust these. Only because, you know, fool me once. What is the expression, fool me, fool me once. Shame on me. No, forget, I won't go there. You guys can tell me in the towers. It fool me once. Shame on you fool me twice. Shame on me. I think that's how it goes. But that's how I feel with the polls and the pollsters. Like, I'm not gonna fall for this again. They said that no way Jose did Brazil ever stand a shot at turning conservative and what do we see? Gosh, darn almighty. It went red. Like, that is a red, I mean, technically they say blue. I told you in Latin America, but that is one red sweep, okay? And I think Bolsonaro is gonna win it. But I don't know if the polls are gonna really show you all this because the polls didn't show you. The Bolsonaro was even gonna eke out any kind of victory, right? And so this is where we're at right now where nobody trusts the polls. Nobody trusts these institutions that are conducting the polls. And so when they call up and say, "Hey, do you wanna answer the poll?" People are like, "Click, gone by. "Maybe they tell you the truth. "Maybe they don't. "I don't think you can rely on them." So I actually think that anecdotal evidence of that little focus group out in Michigan of black American voters that are saying, "Yeah, you know, this guy's not really doing it for us." I also think that most black Americans are not really into the socialism thing. They're just not. I mean, you know, you go to work for a living, you don't wanna turn it all over to El Saeed and his cronies, gunners, what they're gonna do with it. Give it to his mom. Can give some of those fancy places overseas. I'm sorry. No, no, no, no, no, no. Like, that is not who we are. It's not us as Americans. I don't see him going anywhere. I don't see it happening. But, you know, look, crazy things can happen. They sometimes do. But I think the crazy thing in this case is gonna be, we're gonna pull that rabbit out of a hat. Yeah, and everybody's gonna be happy. Market will definitely be happy. Look, the market love Brazil. The rail won't weigh up, market won't weigh up, you know? Oh my gosh. Every public, I mean, think about even when Donald Trump won. We remember how, I think the futures market was tanking and then all of a sudden Wall Street was like, yeah, actually, this is good. Like, this is good. This is good for the economy. The other guys are not good for the economy, all right? They are anti-competition. They are anti-freedom. They are anti-free markets. We want intelligent people doing the right thing for America because if we all take care of ourselves, each other, we're all gonna be far better off in the long run. Yes, we've been talking about Skydance and I, Clive, I agree that the women are leading the way. Actually, that's a really good point. Clive is saying that it's AFD, right? It's Maloney. It's LePen. I actually had not thought of that before. You see, like, they think that women get repressed in the conservative culture. I think just the opposite. I think the conservatives are actually very welcoming of strong women. Thank you for being here. I will see you guys tomorrow. [BLANK_AUDIO]
