Best ball breakfast and boy do we have a lot to cover today new prices for Josh Jacobs, March on Lloyd, all kinds of preseason three week three fallout. We also have a solo draft a draft with Adam Levittan a draft with Sam Sherman and of course a draft with Pac-Rain. I'm Pete Oversett. We have officially entered the homestretch. Welcome to hot best ball summer. You slurp that suspension Dipperino honey easy to click on Rich Had White. It's when it's all site credits. Exotic. Hit the puppy in the back, bro. Try to grow the goddamn game. The game is beatable folks. Slap king summer bitches. Seven thousand hours of commercial free best ball drafts starts now. All right. Best ball mania draft one hundred and thirty three. What does that mean? I need to get in 17 of these bad boys before the start of the season. I'm sorry. I'm sorry about the ten thirty a.m. start. How we changing up the start time when we're in the homestretch. I had orientation first day of school orientation for my daughter. I even have my name tag here to prove it. I'm wearing a collared shirt on best ball breakfast. Just rushed back from the orientation April. She's all grown up. She's going to preschool. So yes, apologies for the delay, but you're going to get all the same amount of drafts in. Just come 15 minutes late, I'll get into draft here, everything's going to be fine. And I did say I'm going to make it up to you guys. We're going to do three coffee giveaways today, three coffee giveaways to make up for the late start. But I think this is the only program where I'm going to give you four hours of best ball content, but then knocking it down to three, three hours and a half gets me in trouble, gets me in trouble. I was also drafting a bean town, a Boston fantasy experts lead draft in person last night. That was a good time with Matthew and the crew. Look at these eggs coming in spread in the cheer right off of the rip five gifted memberships appreciate you sir, thank you. That reminds me with the gifted memberships, we are going to be doing the best ball bash after dark style exclusively for YouTube members on Wednesday night. People have been asking for it, hey, can you do one of these at night? Let's do it here. I'm on the clock here, interesting, I have the uploaded ETR ranks going. They have flipped JSN and Puka, I'm even on both of those guys, nine and a half percent JSN, nine percent Puka, but we'll take a little JSN here. I assume just a little added risk with Puka these days as far as coming off of that injury. I don't see anything in their rankings log, but interesting that they have officially flipped JSN and Puka there. But yes, Wednesday night, for those of you who haven't been able to make the bash during the afternoon, which I totally get, people have jobs, people work, Wednesday is your night. 8 p.m. Eastern, we'll do two to three BBM drafts with YouTube members there and hopefully get some new faces on the bash there with the night time availability. GMs, GMs, GMs, first day of school, it's crazy, man, it's crazy. You're surprised I didn't wear the tank top to the orientation. You know what, I probably could have gotten away with it, but I don't know how Lauren would have felt about that. She would have been none too happy for me. And yes, Jason, thank you. This is the other big news. We have lots of shows to talk about this week. Tomorrow, the randomizer is on Tuesday. Because when you're able to book Derek Carr for a randomizer draft, you figure it out where it's going in the schedule. He told me he could do 8 a.m. Pacific time. I said, say less, Derek, we are doing it. So tomorrow, at 11 a.m. Eastern time, the Derek Carr randomizer, I do have a tweet posted, a lot of people have been giving some awesome suggestions for prompts. If you're not on Twitter, the discord is another good place for it. Would love to get some more prompts in there and we'll get the wheel all ready to go for Derek Carr tomorrow on the randomizer. We got Michael O'Hara in the chat, which reminds me again, look at all these plugs. The new stat chasing crew of which Michael O'Hara is a part of, they're drafting a main event team tonight on the ship chasing channel at 7 p.m. Eastern squares. O'Hara, Dricko, and Neil Farley, they'll be drafting tonight excited for everybody to get a look at the new stat chasing crew. We start JSN here, Jenty's still going at 18. He didn't get placed on IR, so I understand the enthusiasm there for Jenty, I suppose, although I think I still want a discount, like I'm not, I'm not taking him over Hampton like this draft or did. Rockbowers went at the one to turn, so we're in, you know, peak, get those combos here. Speaking of combos, let's see what I have done with JSN, a good amount here. I've done a ton of JSN, Drake landed, 26.3%. I've done it not as frequently with Nico Collins. Let's go ahead and pull up Nico Collins here and by pull up, I mean, like a half spot ahead at ADP, but let's do a JSN Nico. I mean, the Nico outlook just continues to get stronger by the day. No tank del now. I mean, they went from a three wide receiver set of tank del Higgins in Nico, and now we're just down to essentially what? Nico, Xavier Hutchinson, and Jalen Noll. Jalen Noll, an awesome late round click now, by the way. Thank you, Jai Grime. This is why I need the chat, because you guys are effectively the producers of this show at this point. Let's get a Vassaleros and Suns coffee pour. We will do a giveaway, probably later in this draft, we'll do our first coffee giveaway. As always, you guys can get 25% off your first order from Vassaleros and Suns coffee, as well as free shipping, all with promo code P. The link is in the show notes of this description. Go check it out, and let's get ourselves a coffee pour here and figure out what we are going to do at pick 28. Oh, yeah, the chat's all talking about booty, you know, I'm going to be a Jalen Noll over booty guy. Come on. Come on. On the clock here, man, I have selected so much tray, McBride, and I think I'm going to continue to do it here. We're going to start JSN, Nico, Tremac, Bride, a little zero RB start for the culture. You can notice in the ETR ranks, they have pushed up Javante Williams up to 28 ADP of 33.4. This is obviously tied to the Jaden blue release. Honestly, a bit of a shocker in that the team was still hyping him up. All of this offseason, talking about, you know, his knucklehead ways being behind him, apparently not because they released him easy, come easy, go. So we're now looking at, you know, the Malik Davis, the Phil Moffa backfield there. Malik Davis certainly on the menu as a new late round handcuff here. Jaden blue, the fanciest zero, yeah, I should see how much blue I have and just so I can be sad about it. Um, actually, let's look here. How much Jaden blue? 11.4% Jaden blue, that doesn't feel good. That does not feel good there. That has to be the worst, the worst pick in my portfolio right now. How much tank del, because that actually could be bad as well, I, uh, beginning of the year, I was clicking tank del way too much and then I want to say I was on stream on best ball breakfast and I was like, I have to stop with this tank del shit. I have that down to 9%. Oh man, talk about some zeros there, Jaden blue and tank del. If you guys are in the final home stretch with your drafts and you need to be able to sift through some of these combo dilemmas or, you know, just combo planning here to get the portfolio where you want it. Make sure you guys use promo code P at the solver, that'll get you 20% off. If you have ETR ranks, those will immediately get pulled in as well. If you have a subscription for those, you'll get the top solver score. You can adjust the sliders to your preferences. I have player ADP weight a little low team stacking importance high by week distribution importance very low, not a biweek bro here week 17 importance low to medium week 16 importance zero to low week 15 zero to low low. We started JSN, Niko, Tremac bride about to pick here man. This is the spot where you're like man should I have gone with Javante and then taking Colson Loveland here instead do you know the guy who I've just been trying to get more of? I just want more JMO. That's what I want. I want more JMO. So I'm going to keep clicking JMO. We'll keep the zero RB start. You can hear JSN, Niko, JMO, Tremac bride. Yeah, people talking about Dell not being for sure a zero, I just think it's pretty bearish man. If he had this long to play and he was not ready, that's pretty concerning.
pretty concerning. Should we grab a Giderian price share here pull him up or grab another wide receiver? Let's grab Giderian price. We have we have JSN on this team so we will we'll load up on Seattle. Josh Jacobs goes at pick 48. I am not going to endorse that. I am I am not going to endorse that. Josh Jacobs ETR is tanked to 118 in the ranks. That even then I mean I get it in BBM you know what kind of pairing can you get with Josh Jacobs I think the official note from them is they have docked him six games missed in projections. I know over on the fantasy life crew we are kind of anticipating closer to 10 games based on the timing he's obviously on the commissioner's exempt list now the minimum suspension is six games so I think six is being conservative. I think it could be much more than that. And you know the league is just you know they've seen this video. This Josh Jacobs video and they are going to get out in front of any PR backlash that they're going to get by not handling this. JSN Nico Tremac bride James and William Jadarian price there. To start. Austin any word on the battle royale drop later today next Monday. I don't have the exact word on that. Numi had mentioned some stuff previously but I don't know the the firm details on it. What I do is that we're going to get those master class updates to you guys probably by tomorrow just wrapped up the text portion of that we just have to record some of the videos and the round tables but for you existing master class. Subscribers we are going to get you those 20 25 data updates. All right I will take my guy Ramondra here. Rank of 60 80 p of 67. Need another running back here. Love this pick Ramondra. Now my most drafted player here and that is not slowing down anytime soon. I can't get the get the yellow to show so we will just time out on Ramondra here. But yeah 18.4% and climbing on Ramondra. Love pairing in there with Jadarian price. So we now have price Ramondra. JSN, Nico, JMO and Tremac bride. There's no extra cost Trevor for the updates of the master class. If you bought the course last year, you are going to receive access to those as part of your initial purchase. All right, Jalen Hertz goes. I was kind of hoping to grab him. Marshawn Lloyd, you see here up at 75. I'm a little I think I'm still mocking at that price. I'll go ahead and grab Rico instead. Seeing Jaden Reed here reminds me of the after dark I did with Sean Seagull on Saturday night. Really good show. We went for two hours. Sean obviously the best in the biz and we ended up drafting a best ballmania team. And he has Matthew Golden straight up over Jaden Reed, which it surprised me just because Sean and Roda Viz historically have been such big Jaden Reed guys. But I think it really speaks to how clear the rhetoric has been from the Packers on how they plan to deploy these guys. And it's not to say I'm out on Jaden Reed. I think the entire passing game their outlook continues to get stronger by the day, right? I mean, as much as we like Marshawn Lloyd, we're excited about that. I mean, this team is going to be chucking the ball. No wicks, no dobs, no Jacobs. I mean, they might not have the game scripts to even really establish it. If we can just get four quarters of Jordan love slinging it, sign me up for that. JSN Niko Tremac Bride JMO, Jadarian Price from Andre Stevenson, Rico Dowdall, Monday edition of Best Ball Breakfast, a little late start. But we are off to the races appreciate everybody watching. Hit the like, subscribe. We're going to have a bunch of drafts, a bunch of shows between now and the start of the season, which is what Wednesday evening, a week from Wednesday, contest lock, pencils down, a week from Wednesday. No more, no more picks. Arbitro says any opinion on Caleb Johnson signing with the packer. So clearly a desperation. Dept chart ad, right? Just needing bodies there. You kick the tires on a guy who they probably like to decent them out. As a prospect, you know, he was probably someone they looked into last year. Obviously goes to the Steelers. The Steelers quickly discard him. I mean, it seems incredibly bearish for Caleb Johnson's chances to ever be relevant in the league at this point. I I don't think I think there's better kind of new handcuffs to take like to, you know, position it relative to Jimmy Malik Davis, Jimmy Kendra Miller, who I think is a clear R. B. to now behind Travis H. Chan in New Orleans with Devon Neal, her and Camara out as well. Gentie de Astama. Thank you for servicing the audio listener crew all summer. I got you. I got you. All right. What do we want to do? Marsha on Lloyd comes all the way back. So I'm in here. I'm in at this price. ETR has him ranked at 75 ADPs 135. You could maybe play chicken with it a little bit more. I don't see anything I have to have here, but I'm happy to grab Marsha on Lloyd. And yes, week 11 by week, bros, come after me. Jenarian Price from Andre Stevenson, Marsha on Lloyd all week 11. I'll figure it out. I'll figure it out. Everybody relax. This is a good shout as well from Nick P. McNuggets news tab on the solver is an awesome addition here. You can click on these players and they are pulling in a lot of the nuggets that they're finding from press conferences, from player interviews, really good stuff from that. That is, of course, the infamous Patrick Barnes YouTube and Dave over at ETR and collaboration with the solver, awesome value add to that product. Let's see here. I do want to take Matthew Golden. I would like to take Matthew Golden here. We have Marsha on Lloyd. We passed on Jane Reed. I'm only at 6% Matthew Golden, which feels light. This is right at ADP. Let's get another, and yes, I know it's week 11. We're going to figure that out. We'll cross that bridge when it comes. That's a week 11 problem for Pete. That's not a, that's not a problem for me right now. I will say in the audio listener stuff, if you guys do listen specifically on Spotify, I would love, I think if you follow over on Spotify, you can leave comments over there. Spotify is doing an awesome job of circulating the podcast, getting some organic growth in front of new people in a way that Apple doesn't do some of these other podcasts, platforms. So if you are over on, on Spotify, please, please follow, please leave a comment over there. And I do post the full video on Spotify on Spotify. So I get some comments from people who like the idea of being able to go back and forth from video and audio, depending on where they are consuming the in a vacuum podcast content. That's how you can find that podcast over there in a vacuum is the podcast feed. Pete says Colton, if you could be locked in a room with fifth round P wash or ninth round Lloyd for a whole day, who would it be? Ninth round Lloyd, for sure. Ninth round Lloyd, I think is a value. I mean, I just took him in the eighth. So ninth round, met, March on Lloyd, verse, fifth round, Parker Washington, you could probably get me to flip to Parker Washington. If you said seventh round, March on Lloyd, if you say seventh round March on Lloyd or fifth round Parker Washington, I'd probably I probably side with Parker Washington. Oh God. Why am I getting bombarded with Parker Washington comments on this day of all days? Could you watch be a two, three round pick next season? I have a heart. I would bet a lot of money against that. Could it happen? Sure. Sure. It could happen. Did I just lose out on Jordan Love? That's kind of disappointing here. What kind of quarterback stuff can we play late? We lost out on golf is well. Man, do we do like a naked Stafford? I'm going to just grab Romeo dobs. No, I'm not going to do Romeo dobs because I have all of those week 11 buys and I have to draw the line somewhere. I'm going to grab Jacoby Myers there. I do need to figure out how I want to play this for quarterback. It's it's stroude. Stroude darn old. It sucks missing out on golf and love. Stroude darn old and I guess Rogers with a Rico thing if I really want. I could have taken naked Kyler there as well. Stroude and darn old 143 and [BLANK_AUDIO]
148 ADP I pick at 141 in 148 the play is probably Do we pull one of those up now? Hmm Should we grab another running back? Let's grab Aaron Jones I think I misplayed that I think I should have just grabbed a naked Kyler at 117 there That was a mistake. I should have taken naked Kyler and then I would have had Jones paired with Kyler I don't love that move and now I put a ton of pressure on myself for quarterback as well I could have taken like naked Malik Willis there and now I'm putting a ton of pressure on Darnold and Stroud coming back which could really blow up in my face I think I did this last week, too, where I just I pushed it really far at quarterback and when it works It's pure euphoria and when it doesn't You you just lit 25 dollars on fire, so we shall see what I do here G money are you gonna do any more drafts with J.M. Before they close absolutely. Yeah J.M. I mentioned that he would be down to do another one. I think this is this is probably my tentative plan We're going to do drafts. Obviously Wednesday Bestball breakfast. I Already have Eric Bimefore booked for Wednesday We have our annual draft where we try to recreate the magic from our BBM two team that finished top 10 I'll book a couple of other guests for that. We'll have the bash and then Because Labor Day is a week from today and I will be needing to find another time for bestball breakfast What will probably end up happening is some kind of marathon stream? Probably Tuesday a week from tomorrow Where then I'll have J.M. I'll have a bunch of people roll through and we'll finish I'm guessing it'll be something like my last seven or eight BBM drafts We'll do in a marathon stream And I'll keep tabs on the fill rate and and I'll figure out when is a good time to do that We're at 85.8% right now, so yes But TLDR J.M. will be coming back. I just have to figure out where I'm going to be doing this Okay, quarterbacks are here. So this worked out perfectly. Let's grab Sam Darnold first here We'll get Darnold with Jadarian Price and JSN And then we will see what comes back to us the drafters behind us have two three and three quarterbacks So this I might have pulled this off never say never with these guys I mean, there's one drafter here as J.M. Daniels J.M. Hertz and Matthew Stafford. You never know But if I can get Stroud or even Daniel Jones hell at at 148 I'll be happy Malik Washington goes at 144. I think that's a good pick Looks like my patience was rewarded there. I am of course going to grab Stroud with Nico So there you go played a Little fast and loose with quarterback, but get Darnold at 141 stacked up with JSN Stroud at 148 stacked up with Nico in the thesis of this team Is still intact JSN Nico Tremick bride J.M.O. then four straight running backs Jadarian Price from Andre Stephenson Rico Doutel March on Lloyd Two wide receiver selections Matthew Gold and Jacobi Myers speaking of J.M. and Jacobi Myers He had a scorching hot take on Jacobi Myers Aaron Jones Sam Darnold C.J. Stroud. We're fine. We're fine Am I taking any more p-wash questions not at this moment not at this moment? Oh, no, I have a feeling where this question is going Pete if you sign up to run a marathon in Australia Objection your honor. I will not be signing up to run a marathon Would you want to fly there one day before or a week before to acclimate yourself? I know this is a George Kiddell question and now I'm afraid of what it's actually referencing I do want to talk about the George Kiddell note that surfaced there was a quote From Kyle Shanahan that said George Kiddell has taken a step back And most of us interpreted this as a negative thing like a setback, but he said step back and then coach speak index Shared his take on it, which he thought it was a positive thing like a step back toward playing And so now the I have no fucking clue what's going on with George Kiddell. Does anyone have a read on that? It's such a weird way to say something positively because when I hear has taken a step back To me that has a negative connotation So now we're at the we have multiple, you know coach speak aggregators newshounds all this stuff Can someone tell me what that Kyle Shanahan quote meant? Can someone follow up with Mr Shanahan? And have him tell us what the hell that means I am bummed to lose don't in shultz on this team. I would have loved don't in shultz with CJ Stroud and Nico We're at two quarterbacks five running backs five wide receivers We do have Tremick bride on this team. Am I going to end up with Keisha on booty on this team to come on Come on I think I'm just going to lock up the quarterback. I'm going to get Aaron Rogers here I want a third quarterback and he's the one that I have some kind of correlated piece with at this point I do just want to shout out for all my week 17 homies And I know I I sometimes neglect and forget where I've come from as a best ball bro The Wisconsin dels are alive and well on this team Houston stroud Nico Bring back marsh on Lloyd and Matthew golden The dels will be singing in week 17 on this team sweet leaf sought coming a rod had to do it All right, let's see here at pick 172 Producer marks as a step back jump shot. You're right. That's a positive step back jump shot Um, let's see here. What do we want to do pat fryer mooth popping at this point Um, we could get another wide receiver here uh All right, I uh, I have no clue what I want to do here. So I'm just going to grab fryer mooth All the wide receivers. I want to take our later anyways man Drafting supposed to be fun This team is going to have jalen noel on it and look I'll even I'll put booty in the queue just for you guys I don't always use the cue so oh someone already took k-shon booty one pick before me See how am I supposed to get k-shon booty if he's going to pick 171 wow his 80p's up to 174 huh All right All right Let's do is uh a coffee giveaway here while we land the plane on this team Where are we where are we All right, let's do uh Let's do hashtag booty I spell that right B-O-U-T-T-E I spell I spelled it right there you go hashtag booty for our first coffee giveaway Compliments of vassaleros and suns. I'll send you a promo code To redeem for one free 12-ounce bag of coffee there Brady Pete GM GM why so dressed up today I came from April's preschool orientation She's gonna be going to school starting she has like some half days this week and then she goes Five days a week starting next week after labor day All grown up all grown up. Let's get another coffee pour here before this next pick All right, what do we want to do here? God are we are they really going to make me draft Travis Hunter They might make me draft Travis Hunter Travis Hunter at 189 on a Jacobi Myers team where I have five wide receivers. I'm gonna fucking do it I'm not I'm not gonna be happy about it, but I'm gonna do it actually. I'm gonna be happy about it. Who am I kidding? 14.9% Travis Hunter We're going down with this ship We're going down with it. Come on down Travis Hunter Wide receiver six DB one on this squad Travis Hunter We have three quarterbacks five running backs six wide receivers two tight ends Sam Darnal CJ Stroud Aaron Rodgers Jadarian Price from Andre Stevenson Rico Dattel Marchon Lloyd Aaron Jones JSN Niko Jameson Williams Matthew Golden Jacobi Myers Travis Hunter Tramick Bride in Pat Friarmouth Two more picks to go on this one Chad says my take is channing is still dealing with a concussion that very well could be Keaton Mitchell situation is all
intriguing for sure. That one is a bit of a bummer there. All right, taking tank Del over Jalen null is certainly a choice. Not a choice I'll be making because I'll be selecting Jalen null. All right, we have a 3572. We can do whatever with this last pick. We have Darnold with price in JSN. We have Stroud with Niko in Jalen. We have Aaron Rogers to Pat Fryermouth. How do you win coffee? You type #boody in the chat. That is B-O-U-T-T-E. We'll spin here at the end of the strapped. Look at all of this booty, booty, booty, booty, booty, booty, booty, booty, booty, booty. Good morning, Angelina. Play the song. I should. I should. Levitan reshared that song on Twitter yesterday. Shout out, Buck St. Thomas and Zach Religious for that gem. Absolute banger. Levitan, we'll ask him in a second, but Levitan says he blasts that in his office once or twice a week still. Do you know what might be a fun? I have so much Jeremy. I feel like a double Darnold Washington Pat Fryermouth could be fun here. I might fuck with that. Darnold Washington and Pat Fryermouth. I could always do Jeremy. I do Jeremy all the time. Famously scored a touchdown. The haters and losers will say he did it with the backups because the Steelers were resting the starters. More nuanced, Jeremy Bernard Truthers will point out that Roman Wilson was dinged up and wasn't going to play regardless, and so they probably just needed a body. I'm still spinning it as a positive for our short King, Jeremy Bernard, who did score a rushing touchdown in that game on Thursday. No upside and double tied in from the same team. I think I disagree. I think if you can at the cost, if you're doing two tight ends and I'm trying to think of who's an expensive one. If you take Brock Bowers and then Michael Mayer, I don't like that, but pick 172 and pick 213. I could take Charlie Colar, for sure. I could do that. Evan Ingram's like a little bit on the menu now, but I kind of like the Darnold Washington. Austin says you're 16% Bernard makes me 34% feel super extreme. I mean, 34% is very extreme. I am doing Darnold Washington. If you're triggered by it, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, but I'm going double Steelers tied in here. This is my, this is my Jeremy Bernard hedge team, right? If they run a lot of 12 and they're not in three wide receiver sets, and it's just Metcalf Pitman and the two big dogs out there, Pat Fryemuth and Darnold Washington, this is the team that gets it done. Best ball, Mania Draft number 133. I really can't, I can't believe we're this far along. It truly does seem actually was this, yeah, this is 133. I can't believe this summer has flown by like it has. And it's underdog going to let me see this team, whatever. We'll do the, we'll do the draft report here. Shout out to the solver, hookin us up with these draft reports. Unless it says I, I drafted a bad team in which case, I'm not going to shout out the draft reports. Let me hear it from you guys, who we had a crazy day yesterday with the Jacobs news with the roster cut downs. What are your biggest to do items? Who are your biggest targets in drafts right now? Like who are you trying to grab either to double down on a position, try to catch up on a guy that you've been fading? Who's on your wish list here for the home stretch? I'm going to do a recap of this team and then I'll check in on what you guys are saying. Oh, yeah, the solver hates my ADP value because it thinks I took March on Lloyd 42.1 spots ahead of ADP. So they don't know the solver does it know about March on Lloyd. Here's the team. Sam Darnold, CJ Stroud, Aaron Rogers, a little kind of like modified 0RB build here. I guess true 0RB. I mean, fifth round, Jadarian Price. Jadarian Price from Andre Stevenson, Rico Dowdell, March on Lloyd, Aaron Jones. The wide receivers, JSN, Niko, Jamo, Golden, Jacobi Myers, Travis Hunter, and Jalen Null, the tight ends, Tramik, Bride, Pat Fryer, Mooth, and Darno Washington. I like this team. I pushed it at quarterback and I still was able to get some really concentrated bats stacking up my first two picks, always like that with Darnold and Stroud. This team has very little Konami code juice in it, Darnold Stroud Rogers. But we could sit in the pocket with these guys, hit some correlated spikes through the pods, big Seattle bat, big Houston. We also have a couple of green Bay guys on this one, a couple of Jacksonville guys, very concentrated there. And of course, the week 17, the Stroud and Niko, Jalen Null, bring back March on Lloyd, Matthew Golden. Don't hate it. Don't hate it. 831, tomorrow is September 1st, BBB Solo, 3573 Houston. We don't have a problem. All right, let me see your guys' ideas here. You know what? The thumbnail, too. We had so much stuff happen yesterday for my audio listeners who aren't seeing the thumbnail. Keenan Allen doing a breathalyzer is on the thumbnail. At one point yesterday, that seemed like it was going to be the biggest news of the day. I'm messaging my guy, Chris, who does my thumbnail. Shout out, Chris, does a phenomenal job with the thumbnails. And I was like, let's put Keenan Allen with a breathalyzer out of the thumbnail. Little did I know that Keenan Allen would become like the eighth most interesting thing that happened yesterday. I didn't even discuss Keenan Allen in this draft. I did see him pop up at one point there. Josh Downs as well, we could have talked about him. But yeah, I didn't have the heart to tell my guy, Chris, to update the thumbnail with something more relevant. We're just going to let it ride with Photoshopped Keenan Allen in the breathalyzer. But here, these are, these are the guys that you guys are targeting. Crutches says, Tray Tucker, Emmett Johnson, Chris Bell, no matter what, Chris Bell is a good one, man. Like, him being out there playing when we kind of thought it was going to be a red shirt or, you know, something late in season and he's already out there looking good. Yeah, Chris Bell looks like a very good click here. Kasey's always on the Ravens, so I don't know how reliable his justice hill call is. People talking about Caleb Johnson, honestly, I wouldn't like we know Caleb Johnson sucks and I also think they're still likely to either trade for someone, sign someone else. I don't know. I don't know. I can't get there. Packers, pass catchers, for sure. Reed, Golden, Kraft, obviously Watson, load up there, drunk Keenan, jamming Noel everywhere. That's my guy, index. Cowboys back up. I love how you're your draft plans involve a guy whose name you don't even know. How does that work when you type it into the, to the box? You just write Cowboys back up and hope the name pops up. Mike Washington, Jr. Yeah, Chris Bell, 50% Chris Bell, geez, Chris Brooks. Yeah, yeah, I don't know. Kendra Miller is a good one. Kendra Miller is on my list. I need to get some more Kendra Miller. Bucky Irving, we just drafted him in a main event the other night. My zone, like so Mari and Hampton, he says the Keaton Mitchell Cabal sign up is over. I don't think it's over. I think it just got derailed a little bit by Keaton Mitchell having an injury that I believe we still don't know the extent of. Raylish rolling in late. I did already promo this week's bash. We have a last bash this week and it's an evening bash Wednesday night 8 p.m. Eastern YouTube members. YouTube members, it's after dark meets best ball bash. So only YouTube members can watch. Only YouTube members can participate. 8 p.m. Eastern. I will see you there. Raylish. Schultz and Ahten, I mean, Danny, I like these guys, but I just I was looking for something more fun. I think when I tossed this prompt out, I was hoping you would have an idea of someone you wanted to target that was a little more fun than Dalton fucking Schultz and Kade fucking Ahten. Who else? Who else are you guys taking? How are the Cowboys going into the season with Javante Williamson Malik Davis? It's a good question. It's a really good question. They stood pat. I mean, I thought the real
reason they stood out was because they were really excited about Jaden blues development. It makes a lot of sense. In that light, if you're not feeling good about Jaden blues development, I don't know, maybe take a day two or a day three running back in the draft, maybe kick the tires on one of these free agents during free agency. I don't know, maybe call up Najee Harris before the Giants do. I don't know, just some ideas. What are we doing Dallas? Jordan love people on clay borne here. I don't know about this take from fantasy geek. OBJ is going to feed families. Feed families in what in what way is OBJ feeding families? Please enlighten me. Please. Kendra Miller, we got multiple Kendra Miller votes. So I would say the biggest themes here are Green Bay passing game. Kendra Miller, don't say cup. We have had all summer to draft cup. He cannot be part of your plans. Who is waking up right now being like, God, I got to get more Cooper cup. Other than Michael Leoni, who is waking up right now and saying I need more Cooper cup? Apparently Austin. There has not been a single piece of news injury trade cut down. That has changed the Cooper cup thesis that has existed all summer long. And you're just now saying, you know what? I need more Cooper cup. You're a sick pup Austin. You're a sick pup. People keep asking me if I saw the video of keen and leaving the jail today. I did not. Do I need to go watch this? Also why I'm here because I just saw this notification from my guy Tony squares. We have our guillotine league that we're launching. It's called the T's and P's guillotine league. We just got that YouTube channel up and running. We have the first show up. We still have three spots available for you guys. So I need to do something real quick here. I need to toss a link in the chat to this YouTube channel. Because I need you guys to subscribe over there. It is going to be a very fun mix of friends and family. We got Davis Matic in there. We have soccer Dave in there. Actually, why don't I just pull this up so you can see it in season. We will be doing the show on Mondays at the end of the portfolio review. Man, I've done a lot of posting since here. Where is this? Okay, all right. I need to find these posts. I want to give you guys the details for this guillotine league. But the TLDR is that we still have three spots available for you guys. And you have to send us in a submission video just telling us why you would avoid the chop. All right. All of the instructions are in a couple of places. I wrote it up in my personal newsletter, the PO box. And I also put all of the instructions on Twitter. You can see the participants here. We got squares in myself. We got some, so you think you can tout alums, goofy chickens. Zach McDonald, Chad candles, Alex cups, and yes, Kurt Rambus. We got Nez. We got Davis. We got kitchen. We got my guy, Mike, the carrying. We got Kudardoodle from Fantasy Life. We have two former champs of this league, Steph Miller and Blizzy. And then we got the editing team, Zach and Lou. And as you can see here, three available spots for you guys. The prizes, 1500 to first place, 500 to second place. But then this is where it gets really fun. We are going to have bounties. So for however early squares and I get kicked out for each remaining week left. I'm going to add $50 to the prize pool. So if I get bounced in week one, I'm going to add an additional $800. That will get you same for Tony there. I'm dropping the link in the chat right now. Go subscribe to that. T's and P's guillotine league YouTube page. Tony's also going to be doing some additional content over there. But here's how you apply you subscribe to that channel have to be subscribed. T's and P's guillotine channel put together a submission video with the following prompt. My name is blank and I will avoid the chop because we're looking for creativity. And why you think you'd be good in this league and then submit your video to TP
[email protected]. And then tag us somewhere on social media X discord doesn't matter submissions close tomorrow tomorrow by midnight nine one. And then the draft is going to be on Friday night. I'll be streaming that here with Tony will be bringing people up from the league. It's going to be a fun time. So yeah, go subscribe to that new channel there. We are already up and running here very fun show on. That we recorded on Friday there. T's and P's guillotine league. Getting a few more picks that you guys are trying to squeeze in here of a lay Malachi fields. Nick going with Kyle Williams. I will say yeah Patriots Patriots wide receiver room has gotten cleared out. Demario Douglas. That's our wide receiver three now. Nick says Kyle Williams Luther Burton. Okay, that's a fun one. When's the draft would bind for that Wednesday Wednesday best ball breakfast. And I need to book another guest for that block as well. People are selecting to one Johnson. What's my camera exposure very, very low. Very low. I think I took him in like a few eliminator drafts. All right, let's get the man of the hour up here. His name is Adam. His name is Noel. Welcome. And one of if not the final best ball breakfast Adam, how are we doing tonight? Today this morning. I'm doing well. I just wanted to open with a statement in apology of sorts. Not to you. Oh, then go ahead. I felt bad that the streaming community thought I was making fun of them with my recap of my team last week. I want to be clear. No way was I trying to personally insult any of the streamers. I have great respect for the streaming community. Are you reading? Are you reading off a prepared statement? And I submit my formal apology. Do you say you submit a formal? I thought you were going to say resignation because we will accept that. I also submit my formal resignation. I think I think what you really learned this summer is that it's it's hard being a streamer. You know, I think you realize, you know, it's one thing to be a drafter. It's one thing to be a streamer, but to stream and draft at the same time. Only a few. Only a proud group are able to pull that off. Why are you wearing a college shirt, by the way? Because I just I everybody's asked this. I came straight from April preschool orientation this morning. And I sprinted back here. I said April, I know this is a monumental day in your life. But I need to go draft a few more basketball days and ran back to my desk. But yes, I know is it is it throwing you for a loop, me wearing a collar today? No, not really. I just say no, not long. Looks good. I assume busy day for you guys yesterday. The news was flying fast and furious there. Before we get into all of that, well, let's just decide. You want to you want to both draft in the same best ball, mania draft, you want to draft together. What do you want to do? Oh, yeah, I'll get some best ball, mania volume in. Give me a minute. Let me. Yeah, tell me when you're in. Let me make sure I have the rankings. You know, I can't believe that the best structure on underdog failed without me getting an entry. And I was so tilted, like, it's not even about, you know, trying to play bigger, whatever it was just. I thought the mastiff had like the best structure of any tournament on that field to underdog. And I went to do one yesterday and it was just gone. Wow, wow, tell me when you're in. Are you in? No. Okay, man, I didn't realize the mastiff filled either. Yeah, what are we looking at in the lobby? First quarter, that's ripping field general, two is almost full. Wow, yeah, we are, I think we just got to get this best ball, mania, fill right up a little bit more. And then we will probably have some more contests, I would imagine. I do think part of it is that the season is starting later than usual. Yes. Which definitely is part of it. And like the season's ending later than usual. I mean, I can't wait until all the wives and girlfriends find out that Super Bowl is on Valentine's Day. It's going to be amazing. Are you, I'm begging you to tell me when you've entered this draft. I will tell you when I've entered this draft. I mean, how hard can this be? Funny. The amount of underflows happening right now with people trying to get into our drafts, just assuming that we're already in. This is a good, this is a good point. I did lead people hanging on a coffee giveaway here. 104 of you, Andrew says, how about a coffee spin while we wait for love to, to tech lord? I'm, I can be ready if you want to do it now or whatever you want. Let's do it. Let's see. Three, two, one. I'm in. Beautiful. Six, five. All right. And also, congratulations.
Two, FK Coolers, one of the good ones. One of the good guys, the Badgebro himself, FK Cooler, shoot me a message and I will get you your promo code to redeem a free 12-ounce bag of Vasilaros in Sons. Coffee, are you a coffee drinker, Levitan? I don't think you are, are you? - I'm not, I am a strict water. Like I honestly think a health cheat code and people can call me crazy, but I think a health cheat code is like it's really easy to drink terrible stuff for you, like it just goes down so fast and so easy. Like you couldn't sit down and eat an entire massive cake, but I could definitely sit here and chug like a gallon of peach snapple and it wouldn't even phase me. And it's like in one snapple is more sugar than you should eat by like three eggs in a single day. And so I really think a cheat code for health is water only at all times. That includes coffee, all these people walking around addicted to the caffeine and stuff. I'm sorry to your sponsor. - I mean, like your snapple point is well taken, cutting out liquid calories, but coming after black coffee, I'm just not gonna allow that. I'm just, especially on this program of all places, are you trying to tell me I'm not healthy because I have a few cups of coffee every morning at 'em? - I do not think that becoming addicted to caffeine is good for you now. - I'm not addicted to caffeine. - You sure about that? - Yeah, whatever, you name a prop bet, like I'll go and again, coffee sponsor, that was standing. - I can go a long time without coffee. Vassaleros and Sons, ear buffs right now. - Have you seen Requiem for a dream? - Yes, I have it now. - It starts with the hard drug use. - It starts with coffee. Next thing you know, you have a double-sided dildo in your ass, okay, so that was the point of the movie. - I just want our terrific sponsor, Vassaleros and Sons, to know that I have no interest in stopping, drinking your incredible product, and nor do I think your product leads to a double-sided dildo in any form or fashion. You want to know this here? I'll meet you halfway, you know what? This is my true routine, Adam. I do not drink any coffee in the morning until I have had my water bottle with my creatine in my electrolytes, and I get a nice steady base. I'm not rushing to the coffee right away. It's a little treat for later in the morning, so I just want you to know, and I'm certainly not putting Snapple in this. - Good, yeah, I had a Snapple addiction for a while. That's one of the reasons I'm passionate about this. I had a bad Snapple addiction, and actually someone heard me talking about it on the sofa pod, someone worked there, and like, "Hey, we'll send you a bunch of Snapple, "much like what happened to Pete here "with his coffee sponsorship." I said, "No, no." - Do not equate Snapple. I'm getting off the peach Snapple. - Okay, let's see here. I don't think, do I have any, man, I do love the big dog. I have so much almond-ron big dog, and I just can't stop doing it in my heart of hearts. I just, I'm not a combo, bro. At the end of the day, Adam, I just, I'm gonna play the hits, Derek Henry, and almond-ron to start here. - Yep. Play the hits. - A Snapple addiction is such a high school thing. For sure. You can see Adam walking around with his Adidas slides, fucking cool ranch Doritos and Snapple. Do you remember, I forget, I think it was Mountain Dew. This would have been like, when I was in high school, so we're talking like 2003, and they had like the March Madness thing, and they would have the different teams on the bottle caps, and you would like, try to collect them. And then if you, if you had the cap of one that won, you could redeem them for prizes. Do you remember that? - This sounds like something that nerds would do, so no, I don't remember that. - Yeah. - You, you, you were not a nerd, yeah, for sure. (laughing) - I would just like, we are not sponsored by Snapple. I don't want people, I mean, you are now Pavlovian response, these guys. They now all want to peach Snapple, because you, do you see what you've done? - It's, the peach Snapple is so good. It's crazy how good it is. - How's your queue looking right now? Drake London, Jemeer Gives, and George Pickett's? - Yeah, I actually think this spot has gotten like, a little bit worse. I actually, in my, in my quest to try to do as much small field of stuff as possible, I got in the smallest, smallest, smallest field, highest stakes on DK, and I pulled the three pick, which like, I think it's getting worse a little bit here. Like, I think, it's better on draft games with full people, but like the Alave Mico stuff is usually what's there. And like, yeah, like, I feel like the round two running back is just so much better. So, it sucks to, I think, I think three and, three and two are becoming some of my least favorite spots. I feel like, I agree with you. But like, your start here, now having Alave in neighbors, jump there and getting London Pickens with Gives, I think, is pretty sick. And that wasn't something easy to do for most of the summer, 'cause London always went before that. - Yeah, people are getting scared on London on the two of stuff, I think. - Yeah. - And also, you know, Alave gets the Tyson injury and Mico gets the Higgins injury, and so people are more comfortable taking them in. And I thought that, you know, as valid, we did have like, very small bumps on Alave and Mico after those injuries. - Man, I have not been a Rashi Rice guy, and yet, I think I will grab him here. I don't have any of my Henry Om and Rod teams with Rice. Where are you at with Rashi Rice? What's the official Adam Rice take? - Yeah, I don't have much. I can pull up my, so I just prefer the other receivers around him. And, you know, it's just like, I think their offense runs best when it's not going through Rishi Rice. I think they kind of know that too. So, and especially in half PPR, it's not as good. So, yeah, I think it's decent fade. - Who, I took Rice in my spot, who would you have taken, Kyron Flowers, McBride, Igbuka, come off the board? - Probably Kyron. I mean, it depends on, at 55, like if you think you can get like price or bucky at 55, you know, or 56 or whatever you are there, 55, yeah. I think that's interesting, but yeah, I don't know if those guys make it back at this point. - Will you talk about, you guys push Javante up, what, probably six or seven spots I saw from looking at the rankings. I assume all Jaden Blue related. - Yeah, we just thought that someone, whether it was Mafa or Mulee Davis or Jaden Blue, would kind of be in the mix there, and their decision to move on from Jaden Blue and stick with kind of a plotting direct backup type. I mean, I do think if some happen to Javante, they would get Jaden Blue or Mafa off the practice squad and get him going, but yeah, it's been a nice run out for Javante, and yeah, we were probably just overestimating how much they want to play these other guys. They just seem like they're not good enough, or they're not happy enough with them. - Do you think there's still a team that could make some kind of roster move, whether it's a trade of a deep veteran, you know, signing and try to solidify that a bit more, or do you think there's-- - Yeah, Cowboys B-Writers were already speculating that they have something else up their sleeve at running backs, so we'll see. Who even is left on that heap right now? - Good question. I don't know, 'cause James Conner went on IR, and that was the one that I thought was somewhat interesting. Yeah, there's so many running backs, like, who knows? - Yeah, all right, I went Luther Burton there in the fourth Adams on the clock with his Gibbs London pickings. If we could get silence from everyone, this is like when a golfer is in his backswing, you're not allowed to talk. - Why 1110 is a raging is Q? - Wow, Jordanian Price ADP here is really 59. That strikes me as a little bit low. Yeah, I was taking Bucky in that spot, and I don't have much Montgomery at all. I can actually check. Yeah, I only have 3.5% Dave Montgomery, but I was taking Bucky in that spot. With Sean Tucker, you know, coming back, I'm trying to mix in a little bit Montgomery there, and I think you can get Montgomery a little bit later, which is why I don't love it as much. I like taking him a little bit later just on all that thought that was going on the Woody Marks last week. I think there was like some quote from some beat writer that got picked up by Underdog, and I just, I don't buy the Woody Marks who's gonna take a lot from Dave Montgomery stuff. - I wasn't buying that one either. I think Woody Marks is fine for what he is where he was going, but I'm just like not adjusting Montgomery down because of that. - Yeah, and like, I don't even love Montgomery. I just don't think like I think Houston is going, like their run game has been so broken for so long. It's just a straight volume play. Like to me, Dave Montgomery is the definition of dead zone stuff, but yeah, I don't think that Woody Marks is really gonna be that big a factor. But the Bucky, I think it's still fine, but you know, if Sean Tucker got cut, it would be better. The price stuff, I still think Sharper Day is gonna play in November, which is why it's tough for us to like get really fully high on engineering price, but you could see where, it's just, you could see the way things really, really break right for price. - How likely, you know, people talking about the Bucky stuff, Sean Tucker.
roster ball. I mean, that's actually the dominoe. Like get Sean Tucker to Green Bay, get Sean Tucker to Dallas, right? And then that's a win-win across the board. But how do you feel about Bucky, vis-a-vis the Sean Tucker stuff? Yeah, I mean, I think it hurts him just a hair. The weird stuff with Bucky last year was like all the shoulder. I think one of the reason they didn't give him, like, there's reasons he can still get the goal line work. Number one, maybe his shoulder is, what's the whole reason they didn't want to use him at the goal line? And I think that's valid, and I know that was speculated on. And number two, you know, it's a new staff. So maybe they don't see Sean Tucker as like the strict goal line role. So yeah. It is so fascinating to see how some of these coaching staffs think of these the players they inherited. Like Mike McDaniel not being into a rendez-gadston still blows my mind. I thought he would love a like on paper, don't you just think heading in? It's like, oh, Mike McDaniel's gonna love this dude. He's just like buried now. Yeah. Yeah, that one surprised me. The whole thing surprised me based mostly on like the NFL did not want David and Joku at all. They gave him like no money, no one wants him. And then they bring him in on this cheap deal. And now he's going to play ahead of Gadsden. I don't know. I thought I was a nice fit with like Gadsden in the past catching role and Kohar in the kind of grinder type role. All right. I started Amin Rassem Brown came back and did Derek Kenry, Rashi Rice in the third, Luther Burton in the fourth. I got DJ Moore in the fifth. And then my most drafted guy, Ramondrey Stevenson goes at 64. So it's time to pump and dump my Ramondrey Stevenson bags and grab Trevian Henderson two picks later at 66 where you on the the handover Stevenson stuff. Yeah, it's so funny. Like to me, it shows how much fantasy has changed. Hold on, let me assemble my cue. But it shows fantasy has changed so much that, you know, like the young, exciting guy was going so far ahead of like the clear starter for so long. I kind of think it's jumped the shark now. I mean, I don't think Trevian is bad in round seven at all. No. No, and like you said, I mean, price is gone. I mean, someone took Jacobs at 58. Oh, we got Zerkecy in here. Underdog influence or Zerkecy, Zerkecy, I don't know if you saw the news, brother, but Josh Jacobs does not go here anymore. You can take much later. I, uh, oh, did someone take Josh Jacobs? Yeah. Yes. I would take March on Lloyd here. I just, I think, and we have the article up by Hersig about like taking these guys that, um, have moved up so much in contest like this that have been open for so long. I don't think that it's necessarily right in this specific contest to take, um, to take March on Lloyd. Um, yeah, I think you, I think it's so I took him in the draft I just did and I was laughing because the solver said I got just awful CLV. I took him at pick 93, um, which I was very happy to take him there. But I do agree with you like that there's a legit opportunity cost to taking him even at your guys' true rank for him because of some of those dynamics you just mentioned. Right. And yeah, I mean, you can read the article on the site by Hersig like, but yeah, uh, in this specific contest has been open for so long and tons of people have March on Lloyd at like pick 200, taking him at 73. He's gonna have to smash the guys in this range, um, to make it good. So yeah, I don't love it. All right. Uh, I'm about to pick here. I would like to stack up Caleb Williams with Luther Burden. I always feel gross taking Caleb ahead of like Hurts and Jaden and May. Uh, but then this spot where all those guys are gone and I have Burden, uh, happy to make the Caleb click. Yes. I did a like homely type season long draft and like it's so crazy. I mean, I got, I think Caleb went in like round 12 or 13 like, you know, when, and everybody's only taking one quarter back in only plans to take one quarter back and just plays so differently. I, I did one last night to a live, uh, draft with some, some local Boston people and I think I, I forget it was like round 12 or 13 where I took Trevor Lawrence. It was, it was pretty late, um, with everybody just kind of playing chicken with it, which always feels good. The same thing's been happening in our FFPC main event drafts like you can get Jaden and Jalen Hurts in round 10 sometime. Um, and it's, it's this sick thing. We always talk it through where you look back on the 2v2s and you're like, man, I kind of just wish I would have grabbed a running back or wide receiver. And then when you're on the clock, you're like, how do I not take Jalen Hurts in late round 10? Yep. Exactly. Um, did Martian, is Martian Lloyd still here? Yes. Uh, yeah. So I think this is again, the price I'm willing, where did I take him in this one that I just did? I took him at 93 and now he's here at 90. I think, I think I'm in on this price, uh, for Lloyd. I'm just going to do it. It's like, how are you thinking about the Jacob stuff, right? It's like minimum six and I know that's what you guys docked him. Do you think there's room for it to be even more significant than that? If the video comes out, yes. Yeah. I mean, it's such a crazy society where like all that matters if it's on video or not, you know, like, but that's just, that's just wait is, by the way, if this happens like a jet or a giant, I mean, TMZ would already have the video, right? How does somebody not have this video? I mean, if TMZ is out there listening, what in the fuck are you guys doing? Do your job? I mean, this is ridiculous. Don't you think it's a lock that this video leaks, though? Like, it has to, right? I guess it's been months, though. I mean, you know, I assume TMZ has a big bounty on it. I don't, I mean, it's like, uh, is it at the label one? Wasn't that one shopped around for a long time? It took a while for the, the people to get the price they wanted audit or something. I don't know. They were holding the video hostage. It's such a crazy business. I don't, I don't know how that business really works, but yeah, there's definitely a market out there for this stuff, for sure. All right. Levitans about to pick. I will read his team while he assembles the QE as Gibbs, London, George Pickens, David Montgomery, and Devonte Adams. Then he comes back with DK Metcalf and did grab DAC to stack up with Pickens, quiet for the backswing. Thank you for the backswing. Kyle Pits, ladies, everybody be quiet. This is one of the premier drafters. It's not a street where he's a drafter. He started with Kyle Pits here. He's going all in on the Falcons. What's he going to do? Alec Pierce, the ground, a nice golf club. What's up? Are you projecting Alec Pierce like Fulgo, week one? No, I think right now it's like 50/50 for week one on Alec Pierce. That's one of the spots that, like there's three spots for week one rankings that we're, we're working on week one projections already. The three that I'm like most interested in that effect, the season long draft stuff is Igg Buka, which I don't know on Igg Buka. Obviously, it's good. He didn't start on pub. I don't really think that was ever really a consideration, but Turf Toe stuff can be bad. Then Keaton Mitchell, McDaniel mentioned setback. It sounds like a day-to-day week-to-week type thing. Then Alec Pierce, who got back in practice, is off pub. I think the bigger concern with Alec Pierce is like he's not himself or takes a bit of a ramp up, but these kind of like lower prices on Pierce. I've gotten him in like 115, 120 on DK at times. That's like on these large field ones. I think better strategy. I'm going to take Bill here, but I want the Levitan take on the new story from one of the beats. I think it was an athletic writer who said the quote, "Washington commanders offensive line is inoperable right now? How spooked are we with that line in no tonsil?" Yeah, that was Nicky. That day where it was inoperable, I believe they also had other guys out, but yeah, the tonsil thing was one of the biggest injuries of the preseason. I think the commanders have like really wide range of outcomes. They could be really bad. I think you saw Jaden's rookie year what he's capable of dragging them to. Yeah, I've struggled with the commander stuff lately. I was in the clock yesterday, Shadarian price, Terry McClure in her Christian Watson. I kind of thought McClure was the worst of those three. I didn't feel that way a month or two ago. The dig signing, the tonsil injury, it just hasn't been great. This spot here, who took Jared Goff from me, someone already took Jared Goff at 100, the J-Modrafter, but I will happily take KC Concepts C-Own at this price. Here's my squad so far. I have Caleb stacked up with Bertin. I have Derek Henry, Trevian Henderson, Marsh on Lloyd, and Bill at Running Back, Oman Ra, Rashi Rice, Bertin, DJ, more KC Concepts C-Own at White Receiver. No tight-ins yet here. Are you getting pretty excited about the Packer's passing game now just kind of getting forced into maybe kind of changing their philosophy a bit without having the the Jacobs? I mean, we've been kind of thinking about this for a long time. Packers probably my most owned team. I can probably check that, but yeah, I mean, obviously it's just a clean, clean setup for all the receivers on the Packers. Yeah. I mean, imagine it's like
Marshal Lloyd gets hurt, like, then where are they gonna do? They better throw it on like every play. - Yep, Levitan is about to pick here. I do have, if everyone, I have the sign here, if everyone quiet, please, Q in progress. Shhh, everyone, please, everybody. You can be quiet here for these two picks. Get in the hole, shut the fuck up! (laughing) Kyle Menongai, the crowd goes wild. - Yeah. - Matthew Stafford at 120 stacked up with Adams. That looks good. And then Menongai, just kind of finding a bottom on his ADP here. - Yeah, I'm not sure what's up with this injury. I have like no Menongai. Just 'cause I've been to, I thought Swift was better. I have 1.8% Menongai coming into this. I thought Swift, and I have a bunch of Swift. I have 11% Swift. I just thought Swift was better at cost than Menongai, and I don't typically, I wasn't taking Menongai around like pick 100 where he was going before. So, yeah, I had like no Menongai. I think it's a good spot for me to get a little bit. But I did think that Chris, like, Chris tried regas versus Menongai. You know, we have Menongai ahead in rank, but I think that's really, really close, and I would have been fine taking Red Regas there. - Yeah, that's what I'm gonna take here. If he falls, otherwise I'll grab my first tight end. Let's see what Bennett does here. I have a 1, 4, 5, 0. I do need to keep tabs on what I wanna do at quarterback because I don't have anything super obvious, but I am gonna take Rodriguez here. Are you, have you been out on Tutan at this price? I know you took, you were looking at price up there, maybe over him as well. - Yeah, I have 5% Tutan and I'm fine with that. Like, I've been taking Bucky over him lately and price over him. I'm not like a Tutan hater. I'm not a Tutan slapy. I don't know. I guess I'm like not allowed to just have a med take, but I'm fine being like slightly underweight Tutan. Yeah, it's just, it's just a tough bet for me. I mean, are we sure that he's good, you know? He was a day three pick and NFL draft. I thought he was fine last year, not spectacular. - We had a little debate on the clock during a main event draft last week where we were debating between Bucky and Tutan and we ended up going Bucky in that spot there. I think the Rod, the Tutan stuff in basketball, I certainly get the thesis of it, but I almost feel like the Bucky will be a more comfy, managed start at this point. - Yes, probably, yeah. And Tutan could be really good and run sir, if Tutan's as good as everybody says, he should run circles around Rodriguez and over the course of the year expands his role, but I'm just not sold, that's the case. - Man, I'm really gonna be hurting at quarterback here. Also gonna be hurting at tight end if I don't take one. I guess it's close between Goddard and Ferg. I will take Goddard. What's the, are we panicking about Malik Lemons disappointing final preseason game or is that classic noise that we should ignore? I know you guys were kind of down on Lemon relative to market to begin with. - Yeah, we've had a really big fade on Lemon. I have 1.7% Lemon. Yeah, in this offense, it's a tough role, that slot role. So I think he's gonna have to beat out Wix. I think he will. I don't know exactly when that will happen. So yeah, as his price sinks lower and lower, I'm more and more okay with Golden, but when he was going in the 70s and 80s, that was just, I mean, we weren't even close. - All right, my team through 12 rounds, got the 1-5-5-1, Aminrod, Derek Henry, Rashi Rice, Luther Burton, D.J. Moore, Trevian Henderson, Caleb Williams, Marsh on Lloyd, Bill, Casey Concepcion, Chris Rodriguez, and Dallas Goddard. Only 1/4 back there. Levitan has the 2-3-5-1, Stafford with Adams, Dack with Pickens, he has Gibbs, London, DK Metcalfe, Kyle Pitts, Alec Pierce, Menunguy, and now Quiet, please, for the 13-14 turn. - Shh. You know, you could make the same argument I made about Marsh on Lloyd with Mike Washington. I think the difference is Mike Washington's chances of outscoring the guys who go in this range, like Mike Washington's smashing tank Bigsby, because Genti aggravates his ankle or whatever, is just so much higher than if I took Marsh on Lloyd over Devante Adams or DK Metcalfe or whatever. - Yeah, I mean, he's just, I mean, Bigsby goes right after him. It's okay, not as good of an offense as the Eagles most likely, but at worst, it's just a contingent RB-2 bet, and you're free rolling the Genti optimism, re-aggravation, whatever. There's almost zero risk at 145, I think. - Yeah, and I like Bigsby too. I mean, I certainly have, I have more Bigsby early when the price was better, but yeah, I still ended up with 18.6% Bigsby here. - I think I probably need to take a QB-2. Donald goes off the board here. I could be up a creek, or do we just keep pushing it? Maybe I don't capitulate here. - Have you done the Penex backdoors at all? - You know, I was doing those in some of my slow drafts that were wrapping up just with two of looking like a complete non-factor at this point. I assume on this kind of team, where you have pits in London, Dax staffer, you go either way. Do you tack on Penex on this one? - I would consider it, yeah. I'm pretty confident that if two is Nea's right, he's gonna be playing down the stretch. So yeah, I would consider it as like a unique piece in this where Penex wasn't drafted in a lot of leaves, I'm sure. - Yeah. Someone mentioning that Adam Randall thing, did he end up on IR or something weird like that? - Yeah, there was some weird, like people are saying that he's not actually hurt. They're trying to like hide him and stuff like that. You know, I haven't looked into it that much, but yeah. - Yeah. - All right, I did go with Chig, a conco, they're pairing him up with Bill, getting a second tight end, they're not wanting to reach on the quarterbacks with almost everyone behind me already at two quarterbacks. We'll see what comes back to us at 162, and then Levitan scooped up Ferguson. Always nice when you have Dax to get Ferguson past ADP there, that worked out well for you. - Yeah, and I don't even really like Ferguson. Yeah, I have 1.4% Ferguson. But yeah, obviously in this spot, it was great. - I think it's a nice BBM play because your team is just telling the story of if CD misses some games during the playoffs, and then you just have both of those guys with pretty increased opportunity with a nutted schedule. All right, do I capitulate and grab a quarterback here, probably should get a second one. We will just raw dog, Bryce Young, and have no joy in doing so. Please say something nice about Bryce Young at this moment. - I think he's likely, likelier than Geno or Berset to be starting in the fantasy playoffs. - Okay, that is something nice. I mean, I'll take it. That's the thing, it's like, man, because even if, I think what's so weird about the Geno stuff is he could have a solid fantasy year and they could still be pretty poor as a team and have a bad record and they are just like, yeah, we're gonna play Club Nick, 16, 17. - Club Nick was bad in the preseason. I mean, you know, they're in trouble. If Geno is bad, they're in big, big, big trouble. And I've kind of backed a little bit off the gear. Wilson and Breeze just based on that. I know Silva is kind of backed off on it too. - Yeah. Yeah, it's kind of like the same fears that the market was having with the Cardinals, but unlike Club Nick, I think there was some positivity with, oh, I'm talking, sorry. - That's okay. I think we should change those rules for golf, it's ridiculous and for tennis, like it's ridiculous. Yeah, I didn't mention from the camp stuff, really nice run out for Emma Johnson. I was shocked they cut him our dimmer cato because I thought, you know, like Kenneth Walker's, not a very good pass protector. At a minimum, you keep dimmer cato on the roster for pass protection, but Emma played really well. I just feel like he earned it. Like he just straight up earned it over dimmer cato. That's a real role. So, yeah. - Yeah, he's one of the better late round handcuff picks and he just hasn't gotten quite esteemed as some of these other guys as well. I assume that Kenneth Walker, the foot thing with his cleat being on too tight or whatever that was ultimately a non-story as far as Kenneth Walker's health. - Yes, it was amazing. All these fucking idiots, all these Kenneth Walker, the haters were like, they started posting his injury history and it turns out his foot, his shoe was just on too tight. Like, you know, guys like, there's definitely been, I don't know.
three seasons, Ellie felt like a heightened awareness or panic on the fighter injuries. - Every year, it's all ratcheted up. I'm gonna go, I'm gonna do, because I was always looking at a three-title build, give me some upside along with Goddard and a Conquo, we will take Kenyan Zidik. That's all, and I'm just still just, I'm just gonna keep that in. I mean, on his talent and that situation late in the year that if there's one guy who could actually be projected for 13, 14 points a game in this range at the tight end position, it's probably Zidik. - Yeah, you know who the other one is, my most drafted player. - Is it T-Furge, is that what you're gonna say? - No, I have 35% Michael Mayer, because if Brock Bowers gets hurt, we're gonna have Michael Mayer for 13 or 14 points, for sure, and Brock Bowers had the PCL thing last year. - Is that, that's gotta be a DK play. - Yeah, it's all around 20, but that's fun, man. - Yeah. - All right, let's see Levitan's team here, 2562, he did just take Emmett Johnson and Keisha on booty. I mean, actually, now I gotta get your take as I make this pick. It sounds like your booty over Noelle. - I mean, do we have any evidence besides the song that anyone on Earth, besides us, like, Jalen Noel. (laughing) - They have no choice at this point to like it. - No, but they're gonna play Xavier Hutchinson. I mean, listen, I want, I have a lot of Noel. I have 14% Noel. I want it to work. I'm just worried that they love Xavier Hutchinson and booties is actually good, so. - I'm not gonna need you to do something else. I need you to say something nice about Geno Smith, even though what you said nice about Bryce Young was something mean about Geno Smith. - Yeah, I think that the case for Geno Smith is that Pete Carroll and that Raiders organization was so inept that they just completely ruined Geno, and he's gonna revert to the form that he, which I thought was like, not bad, like a little bit below league average before Chip Kelly and those guys messed them up. - Thank you. - So yeah, I mean, we've been high on Garrett Wilson and Embrice, you know, I hope Geno's solid. - Yeah, I mean, there's so many players that depend on it to have Wilson Hall at an Imitial Cedique and yes, I'm leaving the smallest of candles on for Omar Cooper. I mean, we need Geno to be decent. All right, quiet, please. Levitan has two of his three remaining picks. He's about to make. Let's see what he does here. Folks, he has a 2562, I'm gonna do the Jim Nance. Let's see the approach on 16 here, very balanced build. We have seen him here at Augusta, often take the third tight end. He does, he goes with Colby Parkinson. There's been kind of a culture war that's broken out between ETR and leg up over these tight ends. It's the Colby Parkinson versus Charlie Coularm. - That is not true. Where do we have? Where do we have? - Another shot across the bow with this Colby Parkinson's selection. - We have Ferguson at way ahead for sure. (laughing) - No, I said Parkinson first. Brisk Coularm. - Not Ferguson. - Oh, Parkinson's is cool. - Yeah, yes. All right, I have a 3553. I think I need to draft some more wide receivers at this point in God. Nothing gets me going on a Monday morning, quite like Calvin Ridley at the top. Calvin Ridley and Jerry Judy. Man, I just don't. Let's see, I have 16.4% Calvin Ridley. 5% Jerry Judy. I'm going Leroy Jenkins and selecting Zachariah Branch instead. No one's gonna select Calvin Ridley. He'll come back to me. - Yeah, I think on the Calvin Ridley thing like, basically the question is, do you think I on my nor and DK will be playing more than a bit role for the Titans at some point this year? I thought both showed flashes, I think it's definitely possible. And that's obviously the way it goes really bad for Ridley if I on my nor just outplays him where they just go to the young guys 'cause they suck, which is definitely possible. - And I mean, I think Ridley's a good pick in a lot of different builds, but I do worry in the same way we're talking about some of these guys, week 15 through 17, like is he gonna be balling out at that stage if it's a lost season for the Titans? - Right. - And I'm thinking with this team, I have Aumann Rock, Rice, Burton, DJ Moore, really solid top four, Concepcion, there. I can kind of let it fly a bit more. I am gonna take one more wide receiver here. Let me get some levitant takes. I don't really have anything correlated. What do you think about Taikwan Thornton? He's one where I'm like, I'm still just not really buying. - He'll play the MVS role. I think you'll get a couple games. I think it's okay. - Yeah, I have Rashi Rice on this one, just do a little phantom stack with Taikwan Thornton, who look, I mean, like he looked good last year. I mean, it was a nice turnaround for him. All right, as Andrew says here, we're heading into the 18th. If levitant can sick a birdie on 16, 17, he'll head into a playoff with Oversett on the 18th. - Yeah. I thought Malik Davis would have been an interesting pick for this team because like one of the ways that the DAC stuff hits is if, let's say Javante goes down and they just say screw it. Let's just throw them on every play. And obviously, that doesn't help Malik Davis a ton, but it's somewhat correlated. I think it's like Malik Davis on DAC teams when you don't have Javante. So that would have been nice, but I didn't get that. I have taken some round 20 Chris Brookes. I think he's like a pass pro specialist, but given the injury history, I think it's okay, but there are running backs that I prefer here overbrook, so I'm probably not gonna take him. - With seeing at the top of the ranks, the doll, I do wanna get your take on this Keaton Mitchell setback stuff. - Yes, yeah, I'm gonna, I don't know what foul core is doing, but yeah, not just an interesting one in this format too, where he wasn't drafted a lot. Yeah, I'm gonna take the doll. You know, I always thought the doll was a good pick just based on Keaton Mitchell cannot handle more work or something happened to Martin Hampton and Vidal was the actual direct handcuff who we've seen do it before, you know, who we've seen really good games before. You don't need to be that good to have a really good game for Mike McDaniel in the run scheme. So I don't think that the Mitchell stuff affects Vidal all that much, obviously doesn't hurt. A little bit of standalone value. I think Keaton Mitchell is a lower body type thing day to day week to week, probably 60% to play in week one, if I had to guess right now, but I don't feel great about that. Like I don't know exactly. And yeah, it's scary, for sure. I have 14% Keaton Mitchell, you know. Oh, and I have more of him, 'cause I have him on that one team, the big dog that we did together. - That's true. Yeah, it's just a bummer 'cause you want him to get off to a fast start and we will see. Let's recap these teams here. I'll go first here, three, five, seven, three Caleb Williams, Bryce Young, Gina Smith, wish I could have gotten a better QB2, but it is what it is. Derek Henry Trevion, Henderson, Martian Lloyd Bill, and Rod Riegas, like that running back room. Amon Rod, Rashi Rice, Luther Burton, DJ Moore, Casey Concepcion, Zachariah Branch, and Taekwondo. Thornton, pretty good receivers getting a few guys. I don't click a ton in Rashi and DJ Moore, and then a pretty classic three tied in belt, Bill Dallas-Gotter, Chigaconco, and Kenyan Sedeek. Let's head over to Adam Levittan, who, when he does this voice, guys, it's not meant to make fun of us. It is a term. It's a voice of endearment. Take it away, Adam Levittan, the streamer. "Dad, Chris got Matthew Stafford." You know what happens, man? I don't smoke anymore until right before bed, and so now, sometimes I'll get real baked and I'll go over some things that I did during the day that, like, man, I really regret this. I probably, people are probably, like, Levittan is such a dick, and usually stuff in my personal life is not usually internet stuff, but in my haze, I did feel bad that it came off that I was being fun of the streamers. - Get that. You feeling self-conscious about making fun of streamers is how I know you've gone completely soft. I mean, get the fuck out of here. No excuses. Make fun like a champion. - Recap your team. - Oh, boy. Recap my team. Okay. - Stoner guilt. - Yeah, I actually do think, Dac is a reach at 73, like, I like Dac, but he does not have the same range of outcomes versus the Russian quarterbacks. Like, if Jalen Hertz runs for 15 touchdowns or Drake May runs for 600 yards or Jalen Daniels runs for 800 plus again, they're gonna smash Dac, and so, but in setups where I start with Lam or CD, I do get some Dac. I don't have a lot of Dac though, let me see. Yeah, 4% Dac. So yeah, I'm okay with it, but that's like another reason I don't really love the one two turn stuff that much. You know, the stacking stuff with Nico, Alave, and Pickens isn't that great. So anyways, but I'm fine with the quarterback, got a good price on on Stafford there. I think
Once you take Gibbs, you can do more wide receiver or tight end centric stuff. I'm just so confident Gibbs is gonna count for me in a big way every single week. So yeah, I'm fine with Dave Montgomery who I don't have much of, but it's okay here, I think, and then a bunch of flyers. And then try to be strong at wide receiver. So what do I have at receiver? London, Pickens, Devante, yeah, that's pretty strong. - This is the grown ass man team. - Yeah, London, Pickens, Adams, Metcalfe, Pierce, Booty, Vailay. Pits Ferguson, Colby, Parkinson, to round it out for you. And I do think looking at this, I do feel comfortable giving you the green jacket of Best Virginia Draftig right now to bestow upon you. Thank you to the crowd for staying quiet in his backswing so he could land this beautiful squad. - Oh man, I just got a text from my buddy. I mean, his people are sick. He wants, it's Monday. He wants to go to Benny Hanna. And I did this with him once before. He wants, he goes, "Do you want to meet me at Benny Hanna at 11.30?" And once I did this with him on a Monday, and it's totally empty. And there's like one poor kid's birthday party sitting next to us. And we're just like hungry, trying to eat, and they're like doing the whole show. - Are they throwing shrimp into your mouth? - Exactly, it's 11, exactly. It was so embarrassing. Like I can't believe he wants to do this again. It was honestly one of the most humiliating experiences in my entire life. - Dude, I've done some Benny Hanna strips with my college buddies when we've been in Vegas, go into the one at the Westgate. And like when you're a little three sheets of the wind, it's a very fun experience. 11.30 a.m. on a Monday with just you and your buddy. Does he think this is hilarious? Or do they have some lunch special that he likes? - It's his favorite restaurant. (laughing) - I feel like that says more about you than him that you have a friend whose favorite restaurant is Betty Hanna's. I'm assuming this isn't Peter Jennings. - No, no, no. This guy's in his 40s, but it's not Peter. - Well, we gotta get you out of here so you can make this Betty Hanna's reservation. - I'm not going. It's too much going on. No Betty Hanna is going to be like. (laughing) - I would pay so much for just a photo of you like huddled at your laptop, like catching a shrimp in your mouth while also making some projection changes. - What's your in-season planter? Are you gonna play the FS or no? - Yeah, yeah, we're gonna be back in those streets. We're gonna be having, I don't know if I formally announced this, maybe I did, but Leoni's gonna be swinging by as part of the Friday DFS block. We'll be using the solver. Haven't quite figured out the exact format of the show, but what my thought is we have the chat throw out like stack suggestions builds and then we sim test it, see if the math is checking out. So yeah, look forward to that on Fridays, but yeah, a lot of DFS excited to get back in those streets. - Nice, are you playing a DK or have you gone back into your Fandall account yet? - I'm gonna be dabbling a little bit everywhere, I think. - Yeah, because one of the things we were working on, like our Fandall ownership, just like, it's been a struggle 'cause obviously we don't have the historical, so it's really hard to build models and stuff for ownership on Fandall. We don't have the historicals, but made some changes this year and I feel much better about what's gonna happen with our Fandall projected ownership, which flows through to Sims. And like the Sims last year, I think for Fandall weren't that great because the ownership wasn't that great, I feel much better about that this year. So yeah, either one, Draft Kings or Fandall, but I do think it's like a little bit softer and Fandall I'm excited to use the Sims there for that. - Yes, can't wait for some salary cap. Season Levitan will let you get on your way that Benny Hanna's stir fry ain't gonna eat itself. I'll be in touch, the chat was asking my plan. I might end up spinning up like one marathon stream early next week after Labor Day to finish it out. I will of course reach out to you with the invitation to come on and do one more draft, but on the off chance that it doesn't happen, it's been a pleasure this summer drafting with you Adam. - It really has. This is all part of a stick and a bit. I love Peter and I love coming on and hanging out with the community. It's been a ton of fun. So yeah, thank you for having me. What I really wanna do though is I don't even wanna, you know I don't wanna stream, I don't wanna draft. I just wanna come on and do jokes. I mean, can we just come on and do jokes for an hour next year? - Yeah, how does that make us money? - I don't know, those you gotta open mics and stuff. How much do you get paid for that? - Yeah, no, we'll figure it next year. We'll just band in this. We'll do the Adam and Peter comedy hour. I mean, I feel like we did it today. - Yeah. - Fuck Benny Hanna's over here. - One thing that I do wanna note, I know this is on the dog show, but draft King's clock is speeding up on their slows and I'm in the 3k, I'm in a 3k slow and a bunch of 555 slows. And so it goes to an hour on the sixth and it goes to 10 minutes on the seventh. So I don't know that I could, I don't even know that I could stream with you on the seventh, which is labor. They're going to 10 minutes on Labor Day. And I actually thought, and I hate to do this, you know, because I'm not trying to like take advantage of people, but when I saw that they were going to 10 minutes on Labor Day, like, that's gotta be an edge for people who are willing to issue their family and everything on Labor Day to make sure they don't get autoed on these 10 minute clocks on Labor Day. So yeah. - All right, great word choice with this queue as well. All right, we're gonna bring Sam Sherman up for this next draft. We will catch you later. Adam Levittan from Establish the Run. Peace out. Sam Sherman, thank you for waiting in the hopper while we, you know, had a very important conversation about Benny Hanna's. We are in a draft, my 135 Best Ball Mania draft. 102, how you feeling here? - Okay, I'm good. I, the whole time I was waiting in the queue, I could hear you, but I couldn't hear Adam. So I was pretty nervous as to what was gonna happen when I came onto the show, but seems like we're all good from the Wi-Fi standpoint right now, as far as I can. - We are all good at, I was gonna say because I saw you, I had to click through, you did a Yahoo show with Jacob and Hayden, and you were pixelated for the entire stream. I'm surprised. I mean, Hayden's not only is Hayden a professional YouTuber, this is a, this is a man who goes on CNN. I can't believe he let that fly on his watch. - So, okay, a couple of things about that. Number one, we can take whoever of be genre Gibbs here. So just to get that out of the way. Number one, I had a week off of work. I was also moving so I was busy, but I had a week off of work. So it was like the most time I had to prep for a fantasy show. I did all year, no offense to you, Pete, but I'm kind of flying by the scene of my pants here in a lot of times when I come on Best of All Breakfast for the big guns at Yahoo, I did do a lot of prep, and then I come on the show and my internet is just completely tanked. I think like half my takes were, you know, 75% audible. So that was a bummer. The entire comment section just absolutely tearing me apart. So yeah, it was a tough scene last week. I don't get it. I was plugged into my, I was at my company's like office to you like plug into their ethernet where I take like Zoom calls with clients all the time and that failed me. I don't know what happened. It was, maybe it was like someone on the IT staff was sabotaging you knowing that you were kind of not working on their resources there. - That might, yeah, honestly, that might be it. - But on that, yeah, had a good week, lots of news. I guess the big thing with the Jacobs commissioner exemplest stuff, where have you seen him go? I guess both Jacobs and Lloyd curious where you've seen him go this morning. - Well, so it's funny you say that. I know for a fact, I've done two drafts and Jacobs went in the fifth round of both of them and I took Lloyd in both of the drafts I did. I took him at 93 and I took him at 90 in the two drafts there. So I think there's, this is like what is it? The post draft window where there's still a little bit of CLV to be had. I think in a couple of days, Lloyd will be closer to what, 70, 75 most likely? - That's what I think. I mean, I think you should be ranked around there. Like for me, it's kind of like one-suterian price is gone. Once Ramondra is gone. I think he's right in the tier with like Dowdell, the Pittsburgh backs, Trevion, Pollard, right around there. So that seems like good values you got him at in the 90s. And the Jacob stuff, I mean it could be, I guess best case scenario at this point is like a four to six game suspension. It feels like is close to best case scenario. - I think six is an minimum, right? For a commissioner exemplest, isn't six minimum? - I think in exemplest, he can be taken off at any point. - Okay, and then anyway. Okay. - Yeah. I think six is typically the length of the domestic violence suspensions that we've seen. But man, if there's a video of this, I think his career, it could be like the Kremehan situation where the team just decides it's better to move on than carry that package. So yeah, I think there's probably so many moving pieces to your point of one, does the video come out? Like how's the league treating it? How are they feeling? And also, how does Marsh on Lloyd in this back field perform at the start of the season? Like do they have the confidence of like, you know what, we're good to go. We don't need this shit. Can't they save a decent amount of money by releasing him as well? - Jacob's, yeah, I think so. I mean, this is where I don't know the exact details. But I think in a case where a player has a suspension like this, some of the guarantees are voided. At least that's what happened with the DK Metcalf suspension last year that was talk of a lot of
the guarantees being avoided. So I think they would have an out to cut him. So yeah, a lot of moving pieces. It'll be interesting to see who emerges there as they're running back to as well. I think like both Chris Brooks and Caleb Johnson are like very interesting like manage league picks right now. Like pretty tough and tough and best ball. I still think. Exactly. On the clock, we start with Bijan. You can do the teammate pairing with London neighbors is here as well. Alave. Who do you like with this first pick? Let's let's do neighbors. Yeah. Getting getting more excited about him. Yep. By the week here. So yeah, not a guy I have a ton of but I've been once Nico has gone on this two through turn. I've been I've been taking neighbors. I don't think I love like I generally do like teammate pairings with Atlanta. It's it's tricky spending both my top takes on an offense that that week. Yeah, let's so we grab neighbors to pair with me on rice. Go so we can do Alave. Demante Smith. Love. Tremac ride. Who do you like here? Man, I like I like love and Alave a lot. I'm trying to think through. It's double weak eight buys at water. See, but I think I go a love if you can get it in last second. Yeah, I got it. We'll go. Jeremiah love their confidence from the pizza video back in on love because you can carry the pizza. Yeah, exactly. I can get on the plane. He's he's been doing some like agility drills of sorts on the sideline. I think maybe he misses week one. I really think this ankle injury is going to be like a complete nothing by like week week five this year. So I'm pretty excited about him. Yeah, and also it's kind of a low key thing, but I mean, James Conner going on IR to just like condensing that backfield a bit more because part of the thing too is like, yeah, that offense is probably going to suck, but I guess we're we're hoping it's good. And if it is, if it's just love and out here, I think we can survive a two man backfield. If Conner's working in, then it starts to get really dicey. So I do agree that that's helped. I think the only problem you're not problem, but just like love is sliding. You can't get him, you know, mid third, a good bit. A lobby is now a guy who I've seen going inside the top there, but I don't mind the the by-week maneuvering there and getting another running back. Yeah, those are the top two guys for me. I think it's also just like structurally now. I think you're kind of getting in a tough spot in the four or five turn at running back where Swift is getting scooped up. He'd been a big target for me there. You can reach on like the Bucky-Judarian price in the fifth round, which I think is a a totally fine pick, but I often find myself wanting to take two wide receivers there at the four or five turn now, like the Jamison De Monte types. So I do, yeah, love is someone I think he's going to end up being my close to my highest drafted player at running back. I thought the preseason usage was really bullish and then you immediately get this like ankle injury discount that I'm not too worried about. And I think the corner point is interesting, like when this love thing first happened, the draft, I think we docked him a locks. We're like, oh, it's not just out of year, but trade Benson is there in Flash in the second year and James Conner is there and those like other guys have cleared out and I don't think like the market has really accounted for that, even though I do think it matters a bit. That reminds me, I don't know how this exactly reminds me, but I need to do another coffee giveaway here. So let's get a hashtag going for you guys to get some free vassaleros and suns coffee. We're going to do love pizza, one word here, Jeremiah love pizza, love pizza, L-O-V-E-P-I-Z-Z-E-A, drop it in the chat. We'll spin here in a couple of rounds and one of you will get a free bag of coffee. Sam, you said you, are you officially in California now? Are you moved? No, I am in, so I'm doing a couple of weeks in Maine. I'm getting married here from the main area originally. So I moved out of Austin in Maine before the wedding and then I'm going out to California after. Wow, big moves, man. Big moves. It's your job stuff, is it all remote or changing cities or whatever doesn't really affect you that much? Yeah, it doesn't affect it too much. My company has offices like in all major cities in the US so I can work from the LA office out there. So yeah, it worked out with with the move. Yeah, I'll be streaming from just weirder and weirder backgrounds as we get going in the next couple weeks here. So maybe get the China, the China for my grandma's house in at some point. Yeah, you got to get the bike in there. Okay, we're on the clock. Game of Go's, we're looking at Devonte Adams, Terra McClure, and Bucky Evans, DJ Moore, and Montgomery, who do you like? I think Devonte, let's start with him. Yeah, it is nice one. Yeah, it's nice when the JML are burning guys fall and you can get Devonte coming around, but I think he's my top White receiver there. Dijon love, neighbors, Adams, Montgomery goes, we'll be back on the clock at five two. I do have the ETR updated ranks in here. They have at McClure and Bucky Evans, DJ Moore, obviously Jacob's the land mine. It's kind of between McClure or one of those top running backs for me, trying to think through it. Man, it's tough. I think I'd go McClure. Let's grab McClure in there. Yeah, I think with Bijon and love, obviously Bijon's going to score well for us there. I think you take the White receiver, especially neighbors still could be a slow arc there. Love could be a slow start. I guess you could justify either direction there. And I know it was last week we pulled up price. Price. Yeah. Pretty high there as well. Who are you, like, gun to head? Are you price or Bucky? I'm price. Although I think Bucky has had a good run out the past month as well, but I'm still taking price. I think it's a cleaner competition for him in Seattle. It doesn't have a Kenneth Gainwell equivalent. And Sean Tucker, I know people are like saying that this $1 million discount he took is some huge deal, but the fact they could have cut him and they're keeping a third string running back on the roster for two and a half million. To me, that still signals like a guy you have a role for or at least potential level role for. He was the goal line back last year. So I still think even though Bucky's had a good run out, I will take the first round, Bucky, in my opinion, in a slightly cleaner situation in Seattle. Yeah. Yeah. And his, you know, I guess, I guess we had gotten a little bit of the the sharbs optimism there. But other than that, things have seemed to play out pretty well for price. That's definitely one of the backfields I'm most excited to see an action off the rip. Because I think we're going to learn a lot about how much they they trust price right off the rip. And if like if he comes out with 15, you know, plus carries there, it could be a wheels up situation. Yeah. And I don't talk about price before, but I still think that like there's this like pattern matching thing that goes on where it's like, okay, Kenneth Walker couldn't get a workforce course role with Charbonade there. Therefore price has no no chance of it. I think there's a couple things going on with that. Like one, that was pre ACL Terri's act, Charbonade. We have no idea if he's going to come back and be the same player in the middle of the season after a very late ACL Terri and surgery. That's point one and point two. Like it can be true that Kenneth Walker is a very talented running back to be does have a deficiency, which is that he's not extremely consistent between the tackles. And I don't think Daryl and Price has that same inconsistency that Walker has. So the fact that Charbonade earned that role over Walker doesn't mean that he's going to earn that role over price in my opinion. So could it play out that it's the same frustrating split? Sure. But I think you're going to free roll. Like Kenneth Walker was like the running back 25 last year and you're taking price like around that. Like you're kind of free rolling that he has that same split. And I just think there's a lot more upside than the people are getting a credit for. It's obviously not an issue for price. Because his ADPs only moved up, even if you're taking there, it's like a round and a half. But do you worry at all about the Lloyd stuff of just like, Hey, I mean, you and I were taking March on Lloyd plenty of times in around 17, round 18. Do you worry about the strength of those teams? Or do you just say, Hey, the information I'm drafting with now, I'm going to build better teams on the whole than those teams from previous in the summer that are going to have landmines that I'm not going to have on mine. Yeah, I'm not too too worried about it. I think it would take like a really extreme example. Like if Kyron, Torres ACL and Blake Corum became a one two turn pick, like something like that, I think would get my attention a little bit more in terms of the game theory aspect. I don't think March on Brooks moving up from 200s to like the 90s or wherever he is today is like that big of a deal. So yeah, go ahead. No, no, you go ahead. We're on the clock here. Brian Thomas Falls, Jayden Daniels, obviously with McClaren, Metcalf here as well. Who do you like? Let's go to Jayden, I think for the stack. Yeah. He's now like sliding just a bit because of, I don't even want to say fud because it seems like legitimate concerns. But we kind of make our bet with McClaren. We might as well close the loop there. Um, what do you like with this next pick? We have Jayden, McClaren. We have Beijon in love.
and then we have neighbors and atoms. A one, two, three, lemon goes off the board here. I've been trying to get a little more Brian Thomas. I don't know where you're at on here. He does go so, moot point, who do you like? - I'm honestly kind of like Lloyd here, but if we, let's try to squeeze the value out of him and maybe take Metcalf here, take a receiver. I could also do Jaden Reed if he'd rather do Reed. - I am like even on both of these guys, I'm fine with Metcalf. - Yeah, man, I didn't, go ahead. No, I'm just gonna say, it feels like, I almost just wanna start pulling up Casey Concepcion and Matthew Golden instead of, I feel like I keep taking Metcalf and Jaden Reed 'cause I'm just like, they're the number there by ADP, but I don't know. It feels like a very flat-tiered receiver, isn't it? - It's so funny you said that because that's exactly what I did with Sean on Saturday night, he did, and you know Sean, like he doesn't give a fuck about the ADP, he's gonna go get his player targets. I wanna just like, remember exactly what we did, 'cause I think what you just said was exactly, well, I did on this T-Wishon. We took, we took 74. He's just like, yeah, that exact same pick and then Addison came back to us. We had pulled up lemon as well, but that same idea of just like, yeah, maybe we just start getting some targets we like. I will say on the flip side, I just got Concepcion at like 115 in the top two, so you're also like trying to weigh that. It makes it tricky on the turn. - Yeah, look, I was in a homely glass eye and obviously, you know, not the highest stakes or whatever it was a family for fun, but I had that choice at Wild Receiver with like this tier of Metcalf down to whoever, and I just like, I took Concepcion and Golden and just like skipped over this whole tier, which maybe is more of like a managed thing. And I think like those are the ceiling bets, in my opinion, and I think there is real value in DK Metcalf, like he was good last year. We know he's a good NFL player. We don't know that about Golden and Concepcion, but yeah, I'm kind of ready to swing for the upside on some of those later Wild Receivers. - And yeah, maybe I don't wanna speak for you on this, but Riefer says, do you like Godwin over Reader Metcalf? That might be a pullup that I'd be willing to make and then I feel like he's a fair value there. And then I think you can just free roll the Igbuka turf toe stuff being even more significant because if it is, like if you knew, let's say Igbuka was going on pop or whatever and was out for four to six weeks, like Godwin probably like a five six turn pick at that point. So I think taking him anywhere in this range, like that wouldn't have been one, I would have been a post to there. - Yeah, I would have took, yeah. Like if I did the same exact draft five times or whatever I would have taken a team with Godwin, I do, like the camp reports from him have been pretty positive. The Igbuka toe thing seems like it's just lingering a little bit longer than I'm comfortable with. And it's funny how Igbuka's price is not bulged at all. I'm a little surprised by that, but it could be nothing. These injuries, honestly, it's just like we really don't know what's going on with some of these injuries right now. It's tough. - It is very tough. Vijon neighbors, Jeremiah love, Devonta Adams, Terra McCorn, Jaden Daniels, DK Metcalf. I'm trying to think where we're gonna go here. Stribbling for people who want price check on him, E.D. 9. Also, I just remembered this because the thumbnail just got sent to me. On Thursday night, we have Sam. We have Davis OG ADP chasing. They are gonna be drafting a main event team. I believe that's seven PM Eastern on Thursday. Is that right, Sam? - That sounds right to me, yeah. - Yeah. So tune in for that. That will be a fun one with those fellas. We're about to pick at 8/11. You've been doing a lot of tweeting about Alec Pierce. So Alec Pierce is here. I think he hits Pierce. What do you like? - Alec, I have been tweeting about Alec Pierce. I still like Golden above him here. I would probably go Golden. - Yeah. - And then maybe we think about a running back, coming back around potentially. - Do we do Bill with the Jayden Daniels stuff? Or do you-- - Yeah, I'm like a Dobbins Mason. - I like Bill. I think I would actually order this Bill then Mason. So we'll get one of those two. Let's see. - Yeah. I think Bill on, again, we're, this is the one we can't read the sign that says the offensive line is inoperable because we've already selected Jayden and now Bill. Because if it's working, it's working for all of these guys. - Yeah. I am concerned. I guess about the Washington offensive line. I've heard a lot of people talk about it. Actually, the podcast that we're talking about my disastrous Wi-Fi, Hayden did sell me. He's very strong like Jalen Hertz over Jayden Daniels. And that's the one that I've felt the other way about this offseason. He did kind of sell me at least I should split that 50/50 a bit more, much better offensive line, probably better supporting cast in Philadelphia than Washington as well in terms of running back skill players. So I see all of that. Like I can read the sign that says the commander's offensive line doesn't work. But we heard the same thing. Jayden Daniels rookie season. It was a disaster of an offensive line. That was, I think I was even on the like, oh, you should take Caleb Williams above Jayden Daniels in his rookie season because the O-line is so bad in Washington. And Daniels was able to overcome it and still have an awesome year. So I think it's a concern. You also have to think about like a guy who benefits a ton from rushing yards and scrambling. Sometimes bad offensive line can lead to more scrambles. So is it bad for the commanders in real life for sure? Could it lead to Daniels having more rushing yards? I think that's also like possible. So I'm not trying to overthink Daniels too much. I still think he's a pretty, pretty good picker in this range. For sure. And I mean, I have seen some drafts where, you know, Daniels and Hurts are falling into round seven. But yeah, man, I'm just, I think too when you make the McLaren pick, it's just you now just live in a different reality. Like you truly live in a reality where those aren't concerns. If you do have those concerns, like you can't take McLaren there, right? Because then all of a sudden Jayden, it just like doesn't work to say one piece of this works, but not the whole thing. So yeah, I'm with you on that as well. Hurts over Daniels is a little spicy, but I don't think it's crazy. I think you should justify it. - I think the ADP is like, it maybe it hasn't already gone there, but it's getting close and it used to be a decent gap. I think it's 72 and 70. - To 70? - Josh Jacobs in the, yeah, I was just gonna say Josh Jacobs in the seventh, like any of you were saying he was going in the fifth or whatever, like maybe I'm crazy, but that's just like so far off from what I mean, close to considering him. Like I think, is that people coping? People with Jacobs bags are like, what is going on there? - I don't even know if it's Colp. I do think it's just like pure ADP anchoring and just like this idea of I can get Jacobs in the seventh round and he cost me a fourth round pay. I don't know. Yeah, I mean, ETR has them ranked at 118 and I think they're even on the, they're projecting six games missed for him. - Yeah. - That's like best case scenario, I almost feel like he comes back week seven. So yeah, I don't know what you're trying to get there at 77. Here we go. We have a 1-3-5-0. We got this commies stack going. Bijon neighbors love Adams, McClure and Daniels, Metcalf Golden Bill. We are on the clock here, sorry, for the rush. We can go as Stafford with Adams here at 120 looks good. I'm just going to throw him in there. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, let's do that. Let's do it. I like that. - Yeah, I think that's what, this is exactly what Levitin did in the draft we just did before we had Adams at the 4-5 turn and then get Stafford to come back to 119. So now we have Daniels and Stafford, the three running backs, five wide receivers. If you're looking at tight ends, concave, Kelsey, Gotter, Range, if you're looking at another running back, I certainly think Rodriguez and Aaron Jones are in play here, wide receiver. We're kind of good, but you got the Myers-Shakir Coker. What jumps out to you? - I think in Cade, I think in Cade. I think we need a tight ends. I concur with ETRX, I think he's the best pick here. Yeah, I've been, you know, I always like, my ears perk up a little bit when I hear, you know, Leoni with his stance. I know he's a Bill Somer. Yeah, I know he's a Bill Somer. So you got to take it a little bit with the grain of salt, but I am optimistic on concave. I do think it's going to be more of like a, like tight end five to tight end eight ceiling versus like some real like elite tight end ceiling that concave has. I think ultimately he is going to be limited by routes, but man, if anyone's just going to like thrive on pure efficiency in touchdowns, it would be somebody on the Buffalo Bills. So I see the ceiling case for him there. - For our audio listeners, we have this tweet pulled up from two hats, one mic. He says the tight end leader in target per route run over the last two seasons also blows away the rest of the top 10 at the position in A dot. I'm sure the A dot comes down. If routes go up as whole,
But this is part of the reason I can't quit Dalton King Cade's profile. And then he is here at the top with 28.5% targets per route run and 8.3 a dot the next closest being Tremac bride obviously a shit ton more targets and routes, but 26.8% targets per route run 6.3 a dot most of these other tight ends like Bowers fan and living in that six range So yeah, I mean very solid underlying metrics. It's been what it's like health and You know the Dawson Knox problem as far as how many routes he's running Yeah, I will say with Not to like immediately fun to pick we just we just talk about like Okay, target targets for route run for a tight end like King Cade who never lines up in line Is just going to be skewed because all these other tight ends they have tons of like put on quote-unquote routes where they're lined up in line They're chipping a defensive end or they're even staying in the block for a little bit And then they go in for like a leak route into the flat that has very low our odds of being targeted Because Dawson King Cade is not a real tight end. They don't even have them on the field in the situation. So I do the only acknowledge it and the tweet is like hey if it scales up to more volume It's gonna be a lower targets for route run like that. I almost guarantee what happened It doesn't mean that King Cade is a bad pick at whatever 122. I think he's you think he's a pretty good pick there Yep, we add him as our first tight end again. I think he's like the fact that you can build these three tight end rooms With guys like King Cade come back get a shults get a Henry get a Breton strange You can tack on a Cedeek or get another eat your vegetables pick late like That's the nice thing about that like season-long stuff when I look at King Cade as my tight-in-one these manage leagues I'm still like a little queasy Yeah, but when you can build out these rooms at cheap prices. I'm all for it All right, I promise after this pick. We will do the coffee giveaway, but Sam and I need to make two more picks here two three five one Let's see what we're looking at speaking of tight-end Follers. We have a pretty big fall on Andrews I guess I should say about ten picks Denzel Boston, Johan Johnson who's obviously a solid pick he goes Yeah, Terrence Ferguson screaming up the ranks too if you really want to let your hair down No, what do you like? Yeah, let's go Ferguson. Let's house it's on Dude, you know, I you know what? I'm actually surprised. I'm at 8% here And maybe I was taking some more when he was cheaper that I'm not remembering so I'm happy about that Yeah, we'll go con Cade Ferguson. This is a this is the all fun the all wish-casting tight-in room I should say yeah, this the side-end room is running a combined you know 40% of the routes in in week one, but that's okay If we're looking at running back This does feel like a spot to maybe grab a running back for the other option would be if you want to be done with tight-ends and stack up chag with Yeah, with Jane Daniels or if you think we need a fourth here We are on the clock. I'm gonna put chag and like Bigs B and Jonah Coleman in the Q Spears as well. What do you think? I think check I think check Yeah, I think I kind of want to see if we can get some of these running backfires late That haven't been drafted much Yeah, this this is a funny. This is like the ultimate fake tight. We don't even have any tight-ends on a roster these guys are we just took three wide receivers But that's that's fine King Cade first in chag Beige on love bill the running backs there. Yeah, I mean when we picked last I was interested in Rodriguez if he came back We took King Cade and now you have the like Mitchell injury stuff And then we also have a run of these running backs marks Malik Algear air and Jones all go I also just want to point out Caleb Johnson just went at pick 147. I would not do that folks. Just my personal Would not would not recommend that Would not recommend that All right, we are gonna spin here our second of three coffee giveaways if your name comes up rotisserie rob Congratulations You are now gonna have Some coffee with that rotisserie chicken of yours shoot me a message on twitter discord if not contact at peteroversat.com will work And I will get you a promo code to get yourself a free 12-ounce bag of vassaleros and sons coffee We will do one more of these probably during the terrain draft Sam we got a two three five three here set at quarterback with jaden and Stafford have be Jean love in bill Have neighbors debonte mccoran met calf in golden King Cade Ferguson chick so good at tight end as well, and I think it will really just be Finding some of these running backs. We like down the home stretch Yep Yeah, the I feel like yeah, we just got a little unlucky in the straff like juwan johnson I thought was the smash pick you get taken one pick before I was actually even interested in in tray Tucker I know we didn't structurally need a water seeber there But I think his usage and the preseason has been interesting and it's like pretty crystal clear. He's ahead of Jalen nailer now. So I think he's he's kind of an interesting water seeber pick in this range But yeah, I think we'll get some there's some some late running backs. I don't I don't want to jinx us But I think there's some late running backs that we can we can tack on here and be all right Yes, especially if people are gonna take Caleb Johnson and push other Yeah Yeah, I think the interesting thing with these rooms is just figuring out, you know You have neighbors love could certainly be a slow start team. So it's like how do we get This team into the playoffs so that once neighbors and love are cooking we can actually Enjoy those benefits. I mean quarterback tied in good, but we are probably hunting For some hashtag usable weeks some actual stand-alone value with these picks Yep Bigsby does go up 162 that's a nice price there for for bigsby. Yep Um, I'll go to the floor here Yeah Yeah, so you have some of the by 80p some of the fallers Tracy and sharbs Jalen blue. This is now like a landmine. I have one guy here. I actually have two that look pretty good to me Um, the drafters in between us for running backs Naylor go so I was gonna mention Emmett Johnson as a really strong pick at anyone else you're seeing here Yep, he let's let's take him and then I don't want to mention Other teams assuming he's still available. Let's take him first and then I can talk about other names after Yeah, and just check then on the wide receivers uh, and then we can talk about them So you got like the Omar Cooper, Florenoi Pat Bryant 80 Mitchell Uh, Travis Hunter of course, but I think the running backs are gonna get more thinned out than It feels like we should go running back at this pick. Do you agree? I agree. Uh, especially Well, I got actually I can say it now because I think these top three guys Yeah, Ray Davis, Malik Davis, Kaylen Black. I all like a lot. I think Three they whole check the boxes of in my opinion being pretty clear running back to use this point and being in really good offenses I might tie break to Malik Davis just because the he's been basically undrafted all summer Um, I think I would I would go with him Unless there's some reason not to yeah I'm I had the exact same thought process is you I think like Kaylen Black's pro in in Ray Davis are probably like the bigger swings But the draft percentage thing is uh, I think a huge important factor. I mean 85% full. I mean we're probably looking at what sub sub 15% at most For his his draft percentage there. I know ETR ballpark set. So maybe we could get that number But yeah, I think he's he's very strong here Yep And yeah, he's he's a guy where like I do think it's interesting and this is you know You can say this is just pattern matching whatever, but it is interesting like thinking about the Rico Doudal career in Dallas He just kind of hung around and hung around he didn't play a lot of snaps I think even in his first couple seasons in Dallas he logged like zero career carries We just kept hanging around and then all of a sudden it was a situation where Zeke Elliott was the running back one. He was the running back to and he was just the better player and one that job He had no track record of production not a particularly exciting college profile And like Davis is just like a little bit like that to me now. We're like is it crazy to think that like week 10 comes around and Malik Davis just has a ton more juice than javante Williams I mean javante is a guy who in Denver was losing his job to Tyler bidet before Tyler bidet got hurt like we've seen javante You know Lose his grip on backfields before in the in this version of him post injury um, so if he's clearly trusted as the running back to like do I think he's gonna overtake javante? Absolutely not. I think javante, you know is a pretty strong pick in the third round now, but like It's not the craziest thing to me that javante could could lose his job this season Yeah, no, and I mean, it's just it's an offense I mean, and this is before we even talk about some standalone value, right? Because everyone expected jane blue to have some Pass game involvement. That's where javante really struggled last year This isn't even just a pure handcuff bet anymore. It's like no like they're not going to give javante 25 plus touches again I mean, maybe they try to do that. I don't know if he holds up either So yeah, I'm in on that. I did just check the the ETR stuff they haven't projected for 5% ownership
I don't know if that's forecasting like going forward or just at this moment, obviously it will uptick here over the next week or so, but yeah, I think he's a very strong pick there. You know, Kaelin Black who goes at 178, I think he's a really strong pick as well, but you do run into some like late season issues of, yes, he looks like the clear RB2 now, but if Jordan James gets back fully healthy, is it a little more murky? I still think he's, he's a viable selection here. I think the Ray Davis one might even be the better of the two. I believe Ty Johnson is still, is still hurt. So the, the Ray Davis style, which is really clean as the RB2, MC says is Malik all that good though. I just don't know if it matters. I don't know if we didn't think Javante wasn't that good last year and he fell into the end zone. What? 14, 15 times. Yeah, Malik Davis did have a week, week 17 last year, 20 for 103 and two targets zero, zero carries, but our catches, but yeah, they trust him with 20 touches in that week. I forget the details. I assume Javante was banged up, but yeah, they trust him. Big workload. All right. 2553. This is probably two wide receiver selections for us. Solver likes Ridley, Veilay and Noel, as options here. I don't see anything correlated specifically. Do you have a favorite here with this first one? Yeah, Veilay. I think it's like to your point of like, let's bang some early season production on this team, try to get the neighbors and Jeremiah love through off-slows starts. I think Veilay is a huge early season bat just with Tyson, Tyson out. So I think that's the thing there for me. There's a little week 17 correlation there with Beijon, Aughton and Tesla go off the board, Ridley, Zachariah Branch, Noel, anyone stand out to you here? Yeah, I'd stick in the, I think the boring veteran and I'd go, I'd go Ridley or Judy. Let's go. Let's go Ridley. Yeah. All right. Well, Greg, I do think you're right with the love neighbors up top. I do really think we need some early season juice and Veilay and Ridley, I think can hit that line up for us. Yeah. And if some of the like, I kind of like the Chris Bell pick, the Jaylin or sorry, Jacoby Lane, but those guys are obviously gone. So I think we're kind of at the point where like they, the really exciting upside wide receiver bets are kind of gone. I think Ridley and Judy both have interesting trade outs at the deadline. We have seen much more active trading in NFL in the past couple seasons. Both check the boxes to me of guys that would be, you know, if the chiefs, if Rashid Rice is injured and the chiefs need a wide receiver, you know, they will be in all the articles of five most likely trade candidates, wide receiver. So their situations look really, really ugly right now. I still think they're like professional talents that, you know, you, you, you roll the dice and hopefully something works out for them later this season. Two, five, seven, three, Bijon neighbors, Jeremy, I love Devonta Adams, Terry McClorn, Jaden Daniels, DK Metcalf, Matthew Golden, Bill, Matthew Stafford, three straight fake tight ends. Don't decay Terrence Ferguson and Chica Conco, Emmett Johnson, Malik Davis, Devon Bay Lake, Calvin Ridley. We must have summoned Davis with Terrence Ferguson, pick here. We got 900 and 47 people watching live. Make sure you guys have hit the like button. You're subscribed to the channel. We have a ton of shows this week, Derek Carr on the randomizer tomorrow. That's a special time, 11 a.m. Eastern will be rolling right into often on the clock with the badge bros after that. We're going to do a Wednesday night after dark, best ball bash style. So some of you who are not able to bash during the day can join me going to be a fun week of shows. I also have a Wednesday best ball breakfast at the usual 10 a.m. time and then a ton of drafts over on ship chasing this week's stat chasing main event draft tonight, regular ADP chasing tomorrow night. And then we're going to have a Wednesday. I forgot to mention this Wednesday, the spike draft is happening Davis, myself, Pat and Jacob all in the same main event where we get to spite select the players that the crew wouldn't let us draft individually throughout main event season. That's going to be at 2 p.m. Eastern, some spots available in that on the FFPC if you would like. And then Thursday, Sam's draft. So ship chasing is going four days in a row this week, going to be a ton of fun drafts over there. And Sam and I have to land the plane here, pretty classic for a Sam 2573. We can really go in any direction here positionally. Yeah. Quarterback. Do we have any stacks that are not really huh? It'd be like if you wanted to do penex with beijon as like a third one there, Mendoza, Mendoza should be drafted like that seems weird to me, but we don't have any raiders. Yeah. I wouldn't. Um, so low Mendoza, I don't think is terrible, um, McGowan is, McGowan. I do think like if I look at this, it's like just pure draft capital spend. It's like probably a running back selection, but I also don't know if there's anything here that's that interesting. Yeah. Maybe put McGowan in the queue, um, could you go to the water sewers again? It'd be like, uh, Mendoza goes, yeah, you're looking at, uh, Cooper Cobb, Bateman, Taikwan Thornton. I've said you, we could, you could stack up Antonio Williams. If you think there's any juice there, I think that's sick in the gown, yeah. They did keep you get ins on the roster, which is a little bit of a downside from McGowan, he still seems like the clear running back to, um, yeah, we'll bring him to that. Pete. No, I exactly where you were going of like working through the Gettin stuff because a lot of the initial McGowan excitement was wild GJ Gettins was out with an injury. And it's like, yeah, McGowan's, of course, operating is the clear RB two. Now Gettins is back. We were talking about this in the ship chasing discord the other day and people pointed out a lot of the beats mentioned that Gettins might even be on the roster bubble, which is obviously an important element there if they feel good enough about McGowan that DJ Gettins is expendable. I do think that makes McGowan a, you know, a viable 18th round click here. Yeah. Yeah. Zachariah Branch. You went a couple of things before he was going to do the water seabird, recommend, uh, Jeremy Bernard also goes for now. It's been kind of Bernard and Branch has been the, you know, rookie water seabirds have targeted late and then same boring guys like Cobb, Bateman. Um, I've been trying to like uncover other, you know, veteran water seabirds. So I don't just take the same ones every time, but it, it's ugly, man. I, I thought about like Jahan Dotson, like, I guess is Atlanta's water seabird two? Maybe not the worst pick ever. He never gets drafted. I think like the bill, if I was doing like more draft Kings or is going 20 rounds, like, I think Josh Palmer or Keon Coleman, like one of those guys is going to be the water seabird three and Buffalo, like, it's okay, I guess, but it's, yeah, it's just like, man, no one's really, no one's really jumping out back there for me. I know. I mean, and then you look at Jerry Judy and you're like, okay, these other guys are all like over 30 and you're 27, but you have been so, so ass and they add, I mean, fan and breaks out. They add concepcio and a Denzel Boston in the quarterback situation as a mess. And then you're like, how do I get there on him? But then every time I click Ridley and Cup, I'm like, I understand the math, I understand the projection, but in BBM, I'm like, how the fuck is this working out week 15, 16, 17 for me? Yeah. Well, we need to find out, do the Browns play the Broncos this year because I think that was the Jerry Judy 250 yard game. The revenge game. The revenge game. Yeah. If he's playing the Broncos this year, I think he's a good pick. Otherwise. I mean, what a weird career, Jerry Judy, like first round NFL pick is fine in Denver, you know, gets traded, has 235, yeah, nine catches, 235 yards against the Broncos, you know, really has a good season just two years ago. And then now we're trading him like he's completely dead and he's 27 years old. It's just, it's a very bizarre NFL career for Judy, I don't know what to do with it. Yeah. I do like when I, you know, at the end of drafts there and I'm staring at like 17% Ridley and 5% Judy and I'm like, I think that's probably the right distribution on that, but part of me is also like maybe I should have a little more Judy at a little less Calvin Ridley, which I'm the fact that I even have to have these portfolio conversations show how bleak it is in Round 8. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, it is. All right. So, this team at you here, Sam, and see how we did Jane Daniels and Stafford at quarterback, Bijan, Jeremiah Love, Bill, Emmett Johnson, Malik Davis and McGowan at Running Back, neighbors, Devonte, Terry McClure, and DK McCaff, Matthew Golden, Devon Baylay, and yes, Calvin Ridley at Wide Receiver. Don't incade Terrence Ferguson and Chig a concoo tie-dend. How did we do? I like the team a lot, good, good stacks. We have to bet on all the reports of Washington's O'Line being inoperable to be wrong, but assuming, assuming we're okay there, I think this is a fun team with two offenses that have some upside to score a lot this year and then some potential workhorsebacks in Bijan and Jeremiah to carry us through. So, I like it too. I also like getting Malik Davis, Seth McGowan, two guys that are probably pretty low percent drafted.
but clear, no, clear is maybe the wrong word to McGowan, but running back to on their team behind heavy work courses and good offenses, it's a exciting continued vets to make, especially at low ownership. - Yet to me looking at this team, it feels like a lot comes down to Bill in that love could be slow start. Johnson, Davis, McGowan could all be early season zero's, late season plays. So then it's, Beigeon put the team on this back and we're gonna need like fast start production from Bill. So I think everything does come back to the Washington offensive line on this team. That line and Bill is cooking and Jaden like this team can roll, otherwise it feels like a team that could get in a hole early that might be, you know, tough to overcome. - Yeah, yeah. - Any other, you know, where there's some guys that we didn't draft today that I had asked the chat earlier, like who are the guys you're going out of your way this final week to target, you know, guys like Malik Davis, whether it's, you know, the Packers passing game was a popular one, anyone or any teams that are on your radar here. - Yeah, I think we talked about a couple guys. Actually, the two guys that had notes on coming to the show were Emmett Johnson and Malik Davis at running back. So definitely glad we got those targets there. I think the Packers stuff, I've been on all seasons so I don't think I'm necessarily going out of my way, but I continue to really like the Matthew Golden upside pick there, I think. Yeah, good to see that like, whenever you get like all sides of the Slapsis on a pick, you have Sean Seagull on one end and, you know, Hayden Wanks on other hands saying that Matthew Golden is a great pick this year. That's a good signal. I'm excited about that. - Yeah, a boring one, but like, I think Chris Rodriguez, I've been getting a lot of, I think like, he got docked a bunch for this injury. And then since then, it's just been healthy and the reporting's been good, but he hasn't budged back up at all. So he's been kind of like the last stand in the tier of running backs for me that seems to always fall. And then one more I'll say, Malik Willis, I keep hearing that Malik Willis is going to get benched this year while they cut their quarterback to Quinn Ewers. I think last I checked it. - Did they cut Ewers? I missed it. - Yeah, yeah. - 'Cause I literally saw a post the other day and I forget who wrote it, but it was like, one thing Malik Davis Bros. don't remember is how much this team loves Quinn Ewers. (laughing) Maybe not, maybe not. - Okay, I was slightly wrong, but I actually traded him for a seventh round pick. So didn't cut him, but he's gone. Yeah, so to me, it's just like, there's no incumbent quarterback on the roster. Let's actually give him this. Who is the Dolphins QB2 currently? 'Cause I think the people who are saying that Malik Willis is going to get benched, they have to give me that name. Kyle McCord. So you're saying that Kyle McCord is going to be, he's starting at the end of the season to send Malik Willis. We'll see about that. I'm guessing it's going to be the guy who got paid, you know, around $100 million on his contract over Kyle McCord. But yeah, I think it's just one of those things where like the rushing I feel really good about and the passing stuff is all extremely small sample, but like it's just kind of like cherry on top for me at his price if it ends up working out that he's a solid passer. Like I think he can almost get there on rushing alone. So yeah, I've been pretty Willis. Who more likely to be fantasy relevant this year? Mazdemarv or Honda McCord? Those are your two. I'm just saying if I can work in my Corolla here, do we have a Derrick Carola? (laughing) Beautiful. All right, Sam, beautiful squad. I did just pull up because I don't know, I don't know how things are going to shake out with fill rates, all of this stuff. Monday, a week from now is Labor Day, so not going to be streaming on Labor Day, most likely, although, I don't know. Maybe I will, whatever. In case this is our last draft, Sam, I hope it's not, but it's been a blast drafting with you this summer coming off of your big BBM win and getting to draft every Monday here. And yeah, man, I'm pulling up one of our first teams we drafted on April 27th and it did have Jeremiah love on it. So, we bookended this year the same way we started it with love. - With love, with love. And more importantly, Jacobi Lane in the last round, but also with love. - That one, Casey Concepcion, Jacobi Lane, LaPorta and Mark Andrews, maybe we add a third tight in there in Retrospect, but there you go. Lamar Jackson, Sam Darnold, that's all you need. - Yeah, well yeah, thanks for having me on this summer. It's been a blast. Yeah, and if you end up if it doesn't fill over whatever, I can, you know, I can hop on for one last stream next week. So, let me know how it goes, but yeah, it's been good. Yeah, I'll be in touch with you in Levittan and Karein 'cause I don't know, today it just doesn't feel like it should be the lot. I'm gonna have a stream to wrap up my drafts regardless. It's just hopefully it can work with everybody. So we'll figure it out why people will be in touch with with your people. And again, everybody, you gotta go watch Sam, Davis and Pat draft a main event team. Thursday night, Ship Chasing Channel, seven PM Eastern OG ADP chasing crew. Have we already, have I told you guys your drafts lot? Have we gotten that one yet? I don't think so, wanna do a live reveal. Let me see if it's actually filled here. It might not have filled yet. Let's see, is it September 3rd? Yes, September 3rd. Oh, yeah. It has, let me, I'll pull it up right now 'cause then this one has filled, here it is. Your drafts lot is nine. The bone smashers will be drafting from the nine spot. Nine. Okay. I kinda like that. Yeah. That'll be interesting. You can get one of the receivers, the like a Monroe CD tier to fall. Maybe the John Taylor. Yeah, that's fun. Hopefully dodge the Brock. I was worried about like getting the third pick and then having just a all out battle of like Brock powers versus Jamar Chase or something. So we avoided that. But yeah, that'll be fun, before we do it. Yep. All right, Sam, I'm gonna let you go here. Sounds good. On in a second, we will catch you on Thursday, Sam Peace. Before I forget, I wanna mention too, we've been doing lots of promos. Fantasy Life Plus, they just hit me up that you can now get 20% off with Code Pete 20 at Fantasy Life. Because I don't think that's gonna last. It's generally a 10% off with just promo code Pete, but right now with promo code Pete 20, you can get it. I have a bunch of the different things up here. Obviously the rankings, the draft champion, the Fantasy HQ is for helping you manage all of your leagues. All of that good stuff, including the projections. We just got some week one projections up as well, which is a ton of fun. So yes, promo code Pete 20 over there at Fantasy Life. And here it is, week one. You can already see the draft king salaries in there, ceiling projection for the Flex players, Jameer Gibbs 38.6 ceiling God. That is nice to look at. That is real nice to look at Bijon 30, Chase 29.2, Barkley 27.5, Nico 27.3, Chase Brown up there at 27.1 as well. All right, let me get situated here to draft with Pat. This is gonna be my 137th draft. I need to do some math here. So this will be 127. I'll do, man, I'll do probably three on the Bash Wednesday night. So that'd be up to 140. And then I'll probably do three or four on Wednesday. That'll be what, 143, 144. And then I think we plan on one more stream where we do my final five or six. I think that's where we're at. So I'll figure it out based on fill rate. Probably either maybe I feel inspired and I fire up a Labor Day stream. If it is filling, otherwise maybe Tuesday next week. But I think the end game is here, guys. I think we have it plotted out as far as how to get the rest of these drafts in. Let's see the best Balmania exposures heading into these final drafts filter here for BBM. Jeremy Bernard still at the top. Ooh, looks like Kenyans to Deek has surged up here.
18.4% Travis Hunter 16.9 Jordan love. I do feel good about him being my most drafted quarterback. Jordan love at 16.2. Unfortunately, the next three are not quite as sexy. Geno Smith, Aaron Rodgers, Bryce Young, Jaden Daniels, Hertz, Herbert, Darnold, Kyler, Daniel Jones, Ben Doza, my other guys over that 8.3% threshold. My running backs, Ramondre, Bill, Aaron Jones, Breeze Hall, Rico, Chuba, Taje Spears, Jeremiah Love, CMC, Javonte, and Travis H&N, and Tutan. My guys above 11% there. Jeremy Hunter, fucking Calvin Ridley, Xavier Worthy, do feel good about this bag of cheap, cheap, Dejon Stribbling 14.7%, Devonte Adams, Shakir, Teterroyah, Christian Watson, Garrett Wilson, Ladd, and Casey Concepcion above 11% and then the Titans here, Kenyon City, Tramick Bride, Harold Fanon, Pat Freymouth, TJ Hawkinson, Hunter Henry, Brock Bowers, Dallas Goddard, ooh, the Eli Stowers one, that might be the one that there's some of these exposures. You know, I would say from a landmine perspective, like not awful. I know he talked about the Jaden blue one down here that I didn't love, what am I at? 11% Jaden blue don't love that, the Tank Dell 9.6% don't love that, but the Stowers one feels real gross. Even though he was cheap, 8.8% Eli Stowers does not feel fun, does not feel fun to me. Who Hayme says probably wrong, but I can't get there with McBride. Interesting. Yeah, mid third round McBride, I am, I think he's a smash and I know our guest right now, whose intro I will play before he comes on. Also, thanks third round, Tramick Bride, is a smash. Cuba, Karine, Patty Millions, Peacock, Pat, Pat Karine on the ones in twos. All right, Patty Karine, Patty Millions, Peacock, Pat, welcome back to Best Ball Breakfast. How we doing? Doing good. How you doing? Doing good. Trying my like, I was out with the family yesterday, my parents were in town and it was quite the news day, so I was like trying to keep my head on a swivel and trying to react to everything. I assume you guys in your rankings chat had a lot of work to do. No, it's been pretty quiet. Nothing's nothing too big. You guys were. Yeah, there's been a lot. It's been a busy couple of days. You were out on Jaden Blue, too, so that one broke a big time in your favor. Most of my Jaden Blue exposure is from last night, actually, as I was multi-tabling Puppy Force and didn't have rankings loaded in and and audited some Jaden Blue. Just a couple shares, but literally we, there was a period where we thought Jaden Blue was draftable, but then everyone was like, he's a jam. So I have very little ultimately because we couldn't get ahead of that, fortunately for us, but you know, we thought, yeah, he's probably in a mix in now, but then he got he got pretty expensive right away. Yeah, yeah, how are you at? Obviously, we'll get in a draft here in a second, but on Malik Davis, is he on the menu for you? Yeah, he is on the menu. I think he's, you know, a later kind of dark throw type of guy. He's not someone I'm like, hammering. I think, you know, Malik Davis is really kind of more than anything like represents the failure of Phil Moffa and Jaden Blue, I think, then someone who's likely to have any major role outside of a big time injury to Javante, and like even then, I wonder, maybe they bring someone in. You know, so our science won't have to practice quite whoever they have, I'm sure they would. So, you know, I don't think he's like a smash, but he's certainly draftable now. And I have taken him. He was he was he was top guy on the sidekick, like in the 18th round for me last night at one point. So he is in the mix, I think. Yep. Yeah, Sam and I just took him in that range late as well. And in just talking through like the draft percentage on them, I think ETR is projecting him for sub five percent. Obviously, we'll come up a little bit over the next week, but that's like, that's a nice value add relative to these 18th rounders who, you know, are 80 percent. That's true. I think that's right. Yeah. All right. We are drafting Pat. This is my 137th. I just did the math in my head. And like we are we are here. It's it's this. It's Wednesday. And then we'll see what happens early next week. One more final stream to draft five or six more. But the finish line is here. We're drafting from the one five. How many BBMs left do you have? Like 30 or 20. I think I might be down to like 23 actually. Yeah. So I'll be cooking. How many do you have left? This is 137. So yeah, 13. I view it in streams. I think I have three streams, three streams left to get these these all done here. Yeah. I've been asking people like in the chat earlier, who are on your your wish list or your to-do list for these late drafts of guys that you really either want to double down on or start mixing in. We can hit that theme as we move through the draft. But at one five Pat, this is typically Ben. JSN territory. We see chase go to here. Assuming Puka goes. Are you still JSN firmly at five or do you mix it up? I take JSN at five. I get my JSN. You know, I get my fair share. Yeah. I think he's a pretty good pick. Yep. JSN here. We are going to take him top click here. I mean, yeah. Next in the list is Om and Ra. You're not needing to do that. I need to. Who are some of your guys that you're trying to get more? So it is some of those guys that I feel some of the late round guys, Emmett Johnson. That's a good one. Yeah. This is what, um, and honestly, yeah, Malik Davis was, this is what Sam and I just did here in those two stand out a good bit there. Wait, sorry, where are you at? Sorry, the two hole. We went to okay. Yeah. Yeah. In Malik Davis. Yeah. Yeah. Set him going as another one of these guys who wasn't drafted a lot. So you do have some some potential pod hammers there. Yes. All right. Let's see here. Yeah. What what were the other like kind of where you guys at? Obviously on March on Lloyd. That's the one of the hot topics of conversation. We're taking a good amount of Lloyd. I mean, you know, I think he's, he has, you know, Jacob's is now looking very likely at a suspension. I would guess probably six games. And so you have with Lloyd then, you know, a guy who it's going to be a pretty solid guy in the beginning of the season. You know, you can, you're very, you know, high percent chance that you can count on that. And so yeah, we're seeing him kind of in that like seventh round range pretty consistently, which I kind of makes sense to me. I took him at the six, seven turn in a in a five five five. We're obviously you're, you're like most concerned about getting through the pod. You're well, not most obviously it's at 52 seat final. So it's not, you know, quite as small as the big dog there, but and then it's harder to get out around three than it is to get out around one, but it's harder to get out around one than round two. So it's still, you know, some of these higher stakes formats are more advanced rate focused. So, but I think in the, you know, in BBM something like the seventh round range makes, makes a ton of sense because I mean, he is like an intriguing guy. It's not like he's purely GenC there would have been fun. I would eat burgers here. Yeah, he is one of the guys that I'm just trying to make sure I'm not. I think if I'm have to pay early second round prices, I wasn't into it, but are you gonna be able to get him in? Yeah, I think it, yeah. I need to, it was like tweaking on this. Let me make sure this is where he, yeah, so we go JSN neighbors. Yeah, I was, because my thing with the the gentie initially, because what we were talking about him last week and we were even more ambiguity and it was like two, three turn, I think is where we were talking about him. Yeah, I'm more into the second now, like, you know, mid second, I think, I would have wanted to take him if he was there. Yes. Yeah, and it again, to me, the most enticing thing is, are you getting some of these combos with gentie that you weren't getting all summer, right? Like we all have done the two, three turn or the one, two turn pairings with him, but getting him to come back to a JSN. Like, I have a ton of JSN and I don't think I have any JSN gentie. So that really. Yeah, exactly. To tilt it there. Yeah, so we start JSN neighbors. Where where you at as far as like, like when we do week one, week two projections, like how. What do you think the ramp up is going to be for neighbors until he's projecting for, you know, 16, 17, 18 points a game again? It might not be that, that far into the future where he's. I mean, obviously, it's hard to say with any certainty what gentie's situation is, but it sounds like, you know, he's avoided some things that would be kind of bad, like, you know, him being a walking boot type, that type of thing. So I think we will see gentie, you know, playing well early issue in the season. It's, you know, will be week one, will be week two, three. I'm not sure, but I don't think we're looking at like a lengthy absence.
or performance drop off at this point, which is, I mean, really nice compared to where we were. Yeah. I am surprised, Pat. I feel like normally we're always getting suggested, Tramik Bride here. He goes, I don't know if that was different or something there, but you like Rice, Breeze Hall, who do you want here? I'm good with Rice. We weren't seeing Bride at all there. No, he didn't, he wasn't showing. That's interesting. Which I know we've selected him a ton. He goes at three four, so it doesn't matter, but yeah, he wasn't popping up there initially. McBride's ADP has dropped so much that, you know, I wonder if that was factoring in it all, but because I've seen him, I was doing a bunch of drafts, and I, I was multistabling a bunch of drafts, and I took someone at the three four turn, I looked at McBride, had been available at the three four turn, and I was like, no, but the sidekick for that. Now, and then I looked at other drafts, and I've, you know, what else have I done in this same multitabling session that I'm using the sidekick for, and I had McBride at like 307, 306. So we still like McBride, but I think he's getting into a range where you know, the, you're kind of reaching for him. You know, I don't think you're reaching for him, but by the market, you're kind of reaching for McBride. So depending on, you know, how well he was simming, he might, it might be like, yeah, yeah. And this drafter does go, we've done the Bowers McBride thing, a couple of times they go Puka Bowers McBride. We start JSN, neighbors, and Rashi Rice. I'm trying to think any other interesting price checks here, pretty, pretty by the book. In this draft, Jefferson falls to 16 here with all the running backs. So you get a lamb Jefferson start, which I guess isn't that unique because sometimes you can do like lamb Jefferson from the back, but just interesting for Jefferson to fall to 16. I did this the other night with with Jefferson first, because there was that like radio hit where the guys were like, pickens is better than lamb, and then Hayden had shared it, and so I was like, if this gets any run, maybe I get lamb back and I did. I got lamb, I think I got lamb at the 203. Yeah, yeah, that felt nice. If you can get Jefferson and lamb, we get Jefferson and lamb in a main event the other day. It's it's it's nice. Pete, oh, the sidekick. It's gonna say, I wanted to go zero running back here to the close August. I didn't I didn't want to take scat about there anyway. So I was I was excited with that with that sidekick. No, it's the sidekick. It's August 31st. I said the how many times have I said over the course of the summer like and the not even the summer, the spring. I bet when we get into late August, it'll be easier to build zero running back. Yeah, here we are. Four straight. We're pissing. We're pissing Pete. We're back. The kick wants to piss. Jason, neighbors, Roshie Rice, Teteroi, we are pissing, but I do have to ask because you're coming off of writing your a bunch of your legendary upside pieces. I'm trying to think I guess maybe the most interesting question is which takeaway for you deviates from market sentiment the most. Probably Chase Brown, who I I there was a we had a short that went around and people people get fired up on Chase Brown. They they do like him. But I think and then I someone mentioned that he's he's at value for for JJ and in retreat bar. And so there's like a bunch of sharp people on Chase as well. I think Chase will probably have a good season by like normal standards. Do you want to let's go to Darian? We're about to get yeah, normally you can count on one of these running backs in the fifth that's a little bit even better than Jadarian, like a bucky glanshawn. So for them all to go is annoying, but we have JSN such a Darian's kind of fun there. But yeah, so I think Chase Brown will have a good season, but just looking through like what I like about doing the legendary upside stuff is that I have to like you it's the question isn't like who's going to score pretty well. It's like who has actual like a realistic path to nuking and Chase Chase Brown's path to nuking is like it's a real parlay, you know, he has to do a lot of stuff. He's never done from an efficiency standpoint and like, you know, he was a day three pick. He's isn't some high pedigree back. I know he's fast, but he hasn't been explosive in two seasons as a starter at all. So you're kind of asking for this like and he's like already 26. So you're asking for this thing that just doesn't really happen very often in the NFL. I think what you really let more likely to get is like a solid, you know, productive season in a good offense, but something that's kind of from a risk of award standpoint like a better off like taking in the late second than the late first. And so like I think for me like the guy that I came away wanting to really prioritize more than I had been is Kenneth Walker who I who has been really explosive and is coming off a career high in yards per out run and had four plus receptions per game two years ago, where Chase Brown had really nice receiving volume last year too, but you have the potential for Walker and into offense. Yeah, let's go take. We're still. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, you have the potential for Walker's role to to increase in a really nice right way. You have his potential for his efficiency to increase as he moves from, you know, an offense that's built around the run and the defense knows that to one that's built around the pass. And he's kind of a counter-puncher, you know, facing lighter boxes and stuff. So, you know, Kareem Haunt had 4.9 yards per carry in his rookie season with the chiefs, Isaiah, but Chaco had 4.9 yards per carry. And so you're looking in a guy and Walker who knows explosive, he could hit 4.9 yards per carry, you know, he could hit five yards per carry. He could he could be very efficient, you know, in a way that's probably coming with goal line work as well, because who like they're not going to give that to Emma Johnson. Andy Readle do some weird trick play stuff, sure, but like he'll have he'll have the goal line role in the backfield. And they're just talking him up, him up as a screen pass guy. And that's not purely just wish casting optimism, because, you know, he he was used in a receiving role the last two years and was pretty damn efficient last year in that role. So he's someone like I'm like, yeah, I think Walker's floor is probably a little lower than Browns, but I think his ceiling is higher. And it just left me wanting to just like really prioritize Walker in that range where I haven't had a super strong read on that group. I've been, you know, playing a little by ADP in that early second. And now I think Walker's pretty high on my list of guys to to make sure I'm getting overweight on these final drafts. We did take Tate. He fell all the way to 68 as our Y2C were five. The drafter in front of us. So this would be a spot. Do you want to do naked burrow or should we grab Warren here also seems pretty nice. Warren's nice for sure. I think with so many backdoor every one of these quarterbacks is cheap. I kind of like. Okay. All right. I'm good with Warren if you prefer. I do like mid-seventh Warren is nice. Yeah. I mean, he falls from 70 to 77. You know, we already kind of have a 0RB squad going. And then Darnelld, Dart, Mahomes, Bryce and Ward, not that Bryce and Ward are, you know, your primary targets, but just a lot of outs there for quarterback. Yeah. No, we've got. I mean, I know how big a fan of Mahomes you are. So, you know, let's see what's Mahomes is ADP. 97. So you know, Mahomes at 101 there would would be nice. Yeah. So yeah. I love goes in the seventh here. Well, let's talk about that. So the carnal tape, we pick him. He's been a guy I know you've liked all summer. Like you liked him mid mid fifth, right? And so now he's falling all the way to 68. More late. Yeah. Yeah. I guess I don't know what's contributing to the rise here or the fall. Like there hasn't been anything. Preseason stats. Preseason stats. Yeah. What was his targets for route run? No, he didn't catch his targets. So he didn't, he didn't, he was held without a catch in the preseason. So people are like, it's over. Okay. And then Cam Ward, I mean, I think, I think that's like pretty silly, but, you know, apparently he's targeting plenty of practice and joint sessions and stuff. But like the Cam Ward element of people seeing Cam Ward play football again and going, oh, that I that I get that that is a concern for me too. I don't think Cam Ward is good. I've been kind of low man on on Cam Ward in the industry for a while or one of the again, I think sacks probably the lowest man, but, but I'm right there with him. So yeah, I think the the ward stuff's definitely concerning, but you're getting like you're getting the fourth overall pick who's an immediate starter. I don't I don't really see how, you know, mid till late sixth round is is bad. Like at that point, you you deal with a second half break out and some early season slow, you know, kind of intermittent scoring in the early season. Yep. I think you think you feel good about that. On the car. Another falling on stack quarterback peak. This is up to you. I'm happy to do a Dak here at 92. If you want
want. We can backdoor DAC. Yeah. Yeah. Um, man, and that that Cowboys playoff schedule is is so good. Um, it's kind of fun to have it. I mean, almost how many what percentage of DAC teams are going to have one of Pickens lamb or Javante, and there are some good cheap ways to uh, to backstack him. Exactly. It also just takes a little of the pressure up. So my homes obviously would have been the pick at 92. He goes 88 here uh, unstacked. And so I do think protecting yourself a little bit. I guess it's then how close. I mean, I'm yeah, DAC naked versus dark with neighbors. It's still I think you got to take DAC there. The other thing too is that, you know, and we'll see how the quarterback room plays out. But imagine that this is a, um, yeah, that's true too. We got that name. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Imagine that this is a team where you know, Sam Darnold to JSN is is like a key part of you either advancing in week 15 or 16 or winning. This probably not going to be a nuke season from Darnold. Like you still need a lot of quarterback points. Um, so Fanon's at the top here. Yeah. I'm good with Fanon. Yeah. Obviously running back is, you know, we're pushing it. But we're pushing it. But I think, I think I'm, I think I'm at peace with it. I think there's a lot of fix. I like in the 131 40, the zero RB stuff. I think we can make it work. Okay. Uh, I'm still, I'm still in on Fanon. I was, I did a show with J.M. uh, he hopped on for a draft and he made a, he made a comparison to people kind of treating Fanon like they did post rookie year almond Ross St. Brown where they're kind of, um, now waving the production away as like, oh, he scammed his way there. They, you know, he had no target competition, whatever. This is a Fugazi. And it's like, well, what if this guy who earned a lot of targets in college and then earned a lot of targets when he got playing time in the NFL is just really good at earning targets, which I think is kind of a compelling, um, kind of way to, to view Fanon because it's like, we made all these excuses for not you, but the market made a lot of excuses for Fanon last year of why you couldn't draft him. And now we're doing it. We're doing it. We're doing it all again of, and I get it. Like I'm, you know, Casey concepts, you know, Boston, you know, yada yada. But man, Fanon here. Uh, yeah. And I think that Fanon thing, like if you're, the Fanon thing that makes me the most skeptical is when it's like, you know, last year, doesn't even really, like the jury's still out on whether or not this guy like, was even like kind of a good prospect or whatever. Like he, like, we're still waiting to see like, can he really be in a real NFL tight end? Like if you're, and some, when I think he get maybe a little after where we took him here, but you'll see Fanon fall into like the one teens towards 120. The only way that makes sense is if like, you think Fanon might not actually be a real NFL tight end still. Um, which I think is a, a complete misreading of what happened last year. Uh, you know, where he comes in, he takes in Joku's job. That's something a real NFL tight end does. And then he ends up earning targets at a really high rate. Like that's very hard to do as any tight end. So, dude, we got Shuba back. Yeah, I was going to say, remember when we were debating Shuba, dude, you want to make a zero or B T work? How about you at 116? Hell yeah, dude. This is, do you want to let out a howl? Can you do a mic show, howl? I, you know, I, uh, woo. I don't know if, I don't know if I could do it justice. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. If you don't know the clip, I'm referencing, go to the ship chasing YouTube channel, go to the shorts, watch the, uh, the howl from him. I think we played it last week on stream too. It's just so fucking good. Um, all right. We have Dak. We have, uh, Jadarian price, Jalen Warren and Shuba at running back. We have our five wide receivers, JSN neighbors, Rashi Rice, Teteroroi, McBillian, Carnell Tate, Titan, Harold Fanon. This feels like an old school pat and Pete. Yeah, it does. Team cooking here. We just need to draft on August 31st, more, man. Yes. And now Rashad White comes back to us at one twenty forty two percent. Baby, let's go. Eat your heart out, Jacob. Uh, yeah, man, this is, this is how you play it too. Uh, we get price and Warren there, who I think we could get both, you know, early season and late, but then Shuba Rashad White and now we'll be able to, you know, really hammer some of the, uh, the good handcuffs late too. Yeah, we're, we're in real nice shape here now. Yeah. That Shuba fall was a gift to like, it's, yeah, that helps a lot. And I mean, we're, he, I'm pretty sure he's on track to play week one, right? Yeah, he looks, he looks pretty much on track. Uh, you know, I think it's like a little Gen T S where like he could maybe not be totally himself week one, you know, or maybe he misses week one, but I think he's, I think he had a hamstring injury. They shut him down for the rest of the, you know, the pre week one period and it seems like they expect him to be good. Yeah. Yeah. And the, you know, one, one 16 for him, just that's, that's crazy. Uh, it really is crazy for, and again, this is like, this is a team that's going to run the piss out of the ball. We all like Jonathan Brooks, but uh, we know Shuba's not going away. Their offensive line is always like competent. They've generated really good run game stuff, even in a lot of negative game scripts, uh, stoked to get Shuba at 116. Yeah, they're built around the run, you know, and they're not a terrible team. They're not a great team, but they're, they're a team that's going to have some running back production. One of these like mediocre, you know, they might get a wild card spot that might like win like six games, but they'll be kind of in that somewhere in that range. Yep. Um, and they're going to run the ball. So yeah, I think, I mean, this is one of the reasons I've been in on Brooks, uh, is that I think like relative to how good of a team they are. It's, it's actually a backfield that I, that I kind of like, uh, but then obviously being a tube of the slate when you, when you need running back production, it seems nice. So let's see here. This will be inch, it would be nice if we could get Ferguson here. We also are kind of trying to figure out quarterback as well. But it does look like Ferguson will be the pick if we can get him. Ferguson is perfect, right? We get the backdoor stack. Maybe he, maybe it's touchdowns for us in week 17 now. Yep. Uh, to Ferg, which we've seen him spike in that, that playoff game, um, way back when we didn't really play him in the playoff challenge. Uh, yeah. But yeah, man, this team's really coming together. And looking behind us, there's this one team here who's on the clock only has one quarterback. The one hole has three quarterbacks. They have Daniels, Hertz, Kyler. There's a Caleb shock. They take Kim Ward early here, um, to go with Wandel Robinson. But this should theoretically push Darnell back to us at 149, which would be nice. You'd hope. Yeah. You'd hope. This team's got two quarterbacks. They take Mike Washington, okay? Boom. Boom. There we go. Yeah. These two picks Ferguson and Darnelled just, just auto clicks. Dude, I played fast and loose with quarterback in my first draft too. It was a JSN team where I got Darnell around here. I got Stroud with a Nico where I pushed it. And it was like, it is a really different landscape because I don't, you wouldn't have been able to do this two months ago, um, getting some of these guys to push back. So quick reset on the team. 2, 4, 5, 2. This is breaking our way. We start four wide receivers. JSN neighbors, Rice, Tete Roy, grab our first running back in the fifth, Jadarian price. Tate falls to us at 66. So we snag him. We do IKB, uh, Warren over burrow, then DAC falls to 92. So we finally grab our first quarterback, Fanon at 101. Then we get the huge, uh, on Chuba Hubbard 116, Rashad White also falls to 125. And then we lock up some correlation, Ferguson, Titan 2 with DAC, Darnell stacked up with our first pick there at 149. So good team, man. I, I, it's, I think getting the DAC fall, you know, you, I feel better about the burrow, we IKB off burrow, get Warren, which you have this falling quarterback value. But then you just get a different falling quarterback value instead. So it's like, all right, cool. And then we get the backdoor stack on that. We have the neighbors bring back. That's just, that's just really, really fun. Because this is the thing, you know, with zero RB bills, right? You're like, you're trying to accomplish so many things. You're trying to catch up at running back. You're trying to still make sure you have some correlated pieces, um, there and you don't get boxed out at quarterback. And so then when you get the fallers and they happen to be at those team level positions of need, it, uh, it feels good. It does. Uh, all right. Let's see what's coming back around here in the 14th. Fortunately for us, there has not been a single running back pick since we took a darn old before us for people wanting the price check. Mike Washington goes at 147. That seems like a fine price to me. Um, for the, the Jacobs Lloyd people, Jacobs went at 71 in this one in Lloyd win at 80. So people still taking Jacobs pretty high. Have you seen in your Sims? Where, where is it finally spitting out Jacobs for you guys? I'm sorry.
Shady sent over a BBM today where he had him around pick 100 but it was part of like a really nice running back room. I think it was like the fifth running back in kind of a late season hammer type of type of play. So I've seen him there. Got him in the rankings right now in the early 100s. Had him lower than that yesterday but we I'm into to Hunter if you want to do it. Yeah, my only thing is he's been falling a ton. Okay, all right, if you want to try and push Hunter, we can do that. Yeah, that is true. About like 190 or something in my mind. Yeah, he does fall. And just looking at the running, just making sure. So we get, I took Samson there as our fifth, which I think makes sense. I'm good with that. Yeah. Yeah, so I just took a recommended a second click. Second click around the 90s. Yeah, yeah, I think you're getting kind of reasonably in range there. But I think in the 100, like literally like 100 to 110, I think is where we'll start. I haven't seen him really fall there. I've seen a lot of like fifth round, you know, there's some auto drafting happening. Fifth round Jacobs, that type of stuff. Some, you know, seventh, eighth round Jacobs. But to me, you know, I mean, it's such a murky situation. The chef to report this morning certainly makes it seem like more likely that he'll just get us straight up suspension, which in, you know, is at this point bullish, you want, if you have Jacobs, you know, I did draft some Jacobs early. So I have like a decent amount of Jacobs in the fourth. So I would, my hope is that he just gets a six game suspension. Like that's what I, that's, that's good, right? And then it's, and then you have clarity on what the situation explains. Explain that or here, let's make this pick. And then we can explain why, why that or why, yeah, why do you think that's good? I just don't think there's any realistic possibility. At this point, now, he's on the exemplest that he, he's going to get like two games or something. Yeah. Of course, I mushed it and Hunter went one pick before Omar Cooper's here or we can do the triple with AJ Barner here. What do you think? I'm good with Cooper. We have, how many receivers do we have? Just a five up top five. Yeah, I think Cooper fits the team nicely. And he's, you know, highest by 80 p at this point. So how do you talk about Hunter and Cooper? Obviously people, you know, there's that element of, you know, you're, you got bad CLV on some of the initial clicks. You know, we're clicking these guys. What 141, 145? Most of the summer, you now get them 170s here. Yeah. People very bearish on both of them as far as just current sentiment. How do we stay strong and continue to click these guys? I think Cooper's the easier one. You know, he was like behind Isaiah Williams for a minute there and then, you know, doesn't look to be anymore. And he was a first round pick. So even if he started the season behind Isaiah Williams that just wasn't going to last, it's just not how this stuff plays out. You know, and that didn't last. So with Cooper, yeah, he's on the jets. Do I love taking the jets, you know, week one, wide or three? Maybe not in a vacuum. But you're getting a guy who could be really, really good. Like this is the whole, with the first round pick, you get a relatively high floor, you know, for an unknown quantity. But then you take the, what the floor is asking for, this range is now, you're not asking for much at all. So he does have a high floor for this price, even as a jet. And then you move, you know, to like the ceiling outcomes of how does this guy smash ADP? Well, he's a first round pick. And we've seen first round picks produce at levels that would absolutely smash this ADP. So it's just a belt that's very tilted to the upside, even with the jets discount. Like obviously you want a jets discount. And I don't think Cooper was an amazing prospect, you know, outside of being a first round pick. Like if he had gone in the mid second, I would have been like, how could he have fallen there? Like that would have been kind of fine. But he's firmly in that kind of like late first, you know, second round range as far as the prospects go. So yeah, I mean, I think he's, he's just really underpriced for how much upside comes with the first round pick. And then how much safety you have with the guy at least seeing the field at a pretty, you know, decent clip, unless he's an absolute bum. Which he could be, of course, he could be. But that's the case with any rookie. Like every single rookie has true bust risk where the guy just doesn't translate to the NFL or his head isn't in the game. Or he gets a nagging injuries and kind of doesn't do his rehab stuff well. I mean, I'm good with you know here. You know, so of course, it could not work. But I don't know, the Cooper one, it just seems very clear based on the way the best ball stuff has worked in the past. Like that a rookie wide receiver with first round capital shouldn't really be available here. Yeah. And I really think the only, and I mean, I work through this with my own psychology of it, it only feels gross because I was drafting him at 140. And again, it's like, I can't, that was, that was a past me. Yeah, it was a different issue. Yeah. It's like, I now have to look at 173 Omar Cooper and look at the type of players going around him and understand that this is still probably the best way I win a best ball media tournament. We did grab Geno there to stack him up. So we go Geno Cooper, back to back picks. And as expected, looking at running back picks here, Ray Davis goes, kick has been recommending Brian Robinson, which seems like a nice handcuff stab for us. Anything else you're seeing here? No, I was sweating Brian Robinson getting back. Because I think he is a really nice, really nice pick there. Yes. I feel like I don't see the kick recommend Davis that much. Is that correct, Ray Davis? Yeah, we don't have Ray Davis. And I've looked at Ray Davis, you know, a good amount. As like, are we, are we not publishing up on Davis? And you will see him sometimes. It's not like we never, ever see Davis, but you don't see him a lot. And yeah, I think it's, I think it's really around. He just has not had any kind of standalone value. And you have Ty Johnson still there. Third down back. So you have Davis is like, he is, it's very binary where I think with Robinson, at least you have a little more, you know, he gets in there. Where's the touchdown this one week? Like he can do probably a little more for your team around the margins to help you fill a buy week, you know, hope you cover for it, don't expect to be poor for form and elsewhere. Where Davis said, you know, he could absolutely smash if cook Mrs. Time. But there's a lot of times where he just does nothing. So I think in redraft, like they're similar in redraft, but in redraft, I think the Davis, you know, hey, he's not doing anything for me at all versus he's probably not doing anything for me. Those questions kind of become the same thing more in redraft. In basketball, like there's a little bit more of, well, like he did pop up for 11 points, you know, kind of randomly. That was cool. Yeah. You know, we got a 3662 heading into the final pick guessing will be looking at a tight end here for the audio listeners or people who aren't staring at the screen. I did sneak in a third in final giveaway for a free 12 ounce bag of Vasilaris and Sun's coffee hashtag Cooper. Cooper get that in the chat. When this team is done, we will spin again. We are ramping up the giveaways went from two to three this week. I was going to slow roll the reveal of the sidekick recommending the tight end. You did not need to slow roll that. You know, I mean, what you didn't you never needed to pull it back up. You could have just left it. Just left it. Yeah. Yeah. And I mean, man, talk about like, this is the thing that's so great. And you guys have obviously become a meme. You guys have been well ahead of it. One thing I was saying to Adam that I'm still kind of shocked about is just that Mike McDaniel wasn't like doing cartwheels to inherit a rendez-gatsty. Like, if you would have made me bet, I would have been like, oh, Mike McDaniel is going to love this guy. And it doesn't seem like he loves this guy. It doesn't at all. And yeah, I think it seems to me that, you know, they felt like maybe they didn't have a tight end last year, really. Like, the way they the way that Horball wanted to run the offense, you know, I think maybe they felt like I do think they felt like we need to go find an actual tight end. And in Kola, they identified someone who'd been underutilized in Baltimore and can catch the ball. I mean, the thing that's interesting about Kola is he did catch the ball in college. It came out as kind of a big receiving, like a wide tight end with, with like, receiving juice that I liked more than I say likely when he was coming out. He rated better for me. He immediately got buried. They took likely after him, but then likely ended up being the guy who who emerged, and it's like. colar was the type of prospects that often doesn't work out so it's not like I you know had a huge bag some or anything but he was he kind of popped from me as like hmm I wonder if this guy could be anything and he wasn't and he really hasn't done anything to this point but it seems like the chargers think that he can be more and installed him in a role pretty clearly that includes receiving because he's been targeted like throughout training camp there's all sorts of reports of him getting targets and stuff and you know he's tard in the preseason and everything so yeah I mean McDaniel I get what you're saying but McDaniel loves the run game man the key loves the run game and having a tight end who can block in line that's a big part of that so I think the versatility that colar offers could be really nice for them now like ultimately we and this is why the colar stuff has been so funny to me it's like if he gets like 450 yards we're gonna we're doing cartwheels like I'm not I'm not projecting some massive breakout for for colar but he's he's price hasn't really risen despite it being clear what we were early on and you know shout-out sacrilegis because he was reading the tea leaves on on this stuff better than anyone it's I think what we we got ahead of him just paying off completely free and then he has remained so cheap that like you you still can have him score touchdowns in the playoffs maybe once or twice and then just be a guy who helps fill out a tight end room with very little opportunity cost and hits your lineup several times at a low scoring position as opposed to taking a jade and blue zero or whatever others zeros our opponents will have I think that's gonna be helpful you know and if he had risen up into like the 14th or 15th round we would have waved goodbye but he but he never did you know no all right before I recap this team let's see who is going to grab this final free bag of S. Larus and sons coffee good luck to all of you apologies to whoever gets slow rolled here Jesse Riddle I recognize that username Jesse Riddle 299 shoot me a message on twitter on discord if not contact at peteroversat.com works and I will get you a promo code to redeem your free 12 ounce bag of coffee and if you missed out and you're still hunting for that free coffee tune in Wednesday we'll be doing some more giveaways on the Wednesday edition of bestball breakfast here's our team pat I mean we value how did our way to some nice nice picks Dak Prescott Sam Arnold Gino Smith Jadarian Price Jalen Warren Chuba Hubbard Rashad White Dylan Samson and Brian Robinson Jason Malik neighbors Rosci Rice Teteroi McMillan Carnell Tate and Omar Cooper Harold Fanon Jake Ferguson Charlie Colar really nice blend of upside and correlation and value on this one I love it I think you know just looking at the team as it's completed I do like that we have what was the tight end room again yeah yeah so we had three but yeah Fanon Ferg and Colar I mean Fanon could start better than he finishes ultimately with you know two rookies maybe getting their feet under them more and more as the season goes on you have three onesies at both you know quarterback and tight end we're at three when you look at the receiver room you have Malik neighbors Rashi Rice Carnell Tate Omar Cooper so that's a receiver room that could start a little slow and then we're zero running back so we're not going to be dominant at the running back position until hopefully later so I do I think the double onesies actually kind of a key element here where we're just like making sure we score a lot of points at both onesies and that's what you know helps us advance this might be a second-place team you know I think we we built for for more end of season but like it's it's a it's a team that you get through in second place and then you just like like easily advance in week 15 kind of kind of vibes so I think it's a really really fun team and I just think it's really well constructed yeah for sure and the yeah the price warrant up there Chubin Rashad White to make sure you are getting enough points and then the five high end wide receivers and then you check on Omar Cooper is that late late season play and then you know with DAC with fan in even though you wait till pick 92 101 for your first onesie you're getting like legit top five upside at each of those positions oh yeah basis with those guys for sure I mean and the Ferguson thing like the touchdown equity is not like you know that's real he can he can get in the end zone you know and and be part of DAC going nuts and given we DAC's got a really high weekly ceiling as we know so well even the draft I just did with Levitan a couple hours ago or whatever he did a pickens DAC Ferguson team and he was like I'm I'm not the biggest Ferguson guy but I'm like in that reality your plan like hey what if lamb is banged up you know one of the 15 totally and then you get the I mean we saw the splits last year Ferguson when lamb was out I mean he was he was like the tight in one for the first half of the season there so that's what you're playing for just touchdown hunting with the team who is going to be implied to score the most points in the fantasy playoffs if if things hold 100% yeah yeah and we have the neighbors bring back so that game goes nuts that's one of the things too with like some of the way these things when you're thinking through like how can I win with a DAC team that doesn't have lamb like I won with a Brady team that didn't have a 50 burger from Evans like yeah you know like you it's not even that you're saying like obviously it'd be better if Ferguson just dominated and lamb didn't do anything if you don't have lamb but it's not even as clean as it doesn't need to be as clean as that like it can be like lamb is a great pick but you know the the first round pick you really really need is JSN or actually JSN out it gets out scored by lamb but you kind of had to have neighbors in the third or rice who was never really paired with lamb you know at all so like that yeah lamb was an awesome pick he didn't he wasn't on the team to score the most points because the kind of the way the combos worked out and you know Ferguson obviously would probably need to have a pretty good game as well but you get you can still have DAC nuke lamb comes along for the ride but it doesn't become necessary that that's like a lot of ways that can happen Pat let people know they want to check out the legendary upside articles I know you've also been doing some audio for those as well and obviously the sidekick as we enter this final home stretch what nine days until the season in these slides yeah man we are in we're in the home stretch I was multi-table in a bunch last night if you're trying to if you're trying to get last minute volume in highly highly recommend sign up for the sidekick and people what exactly will happen for all these running backs in in their legendary break the NFL season break the fantasy season kind of seasons and then I also travel to a different future where they stay healthy and are still bad picks and I lay that all out there I this year I split it into two articles first articles completely free and is available in audio version on the legendary upside podcast feed second article first couple running backs I I have above the paywall but you know did did put the paywall in the the second half of the article give the give the subscribers a little more value there and if you want a premium podcast feed where I narrate that article that's also included with the leg up sub. Awesome and I did just pull up here as another reminder we have four straight shows on ship chasing channel this week one of them that's not even on this graphic because we announced this one or decided on this the other day when Davis had this awesome idea but Monday tonight stat chasing main event draft Tony squares Draco Neil Farley Michael O'Hara drafting a team tonight excited to tune in that's at 7 p.m. Eastern tomorrow the ADP chasing crew will be live excited for that one because this is like the last meaty ADP chasing was so much to digest ranking updates ADP movement all that that'll be at the typical 7 30 p.m. Eastern then Wednesday we're going to have at our normal ship chasing time 2 p.m. Eastern we are labeling this the spiked draft it is the spiked draft here and we are going to all be in the same main event draft and there are spots available some people are wanting to bump hunt us in this one go to the FFPC lobby go to the main event you can't miss it because it literally says ship chasing in the title it's Wednesday at September 2nd 2 p.m. Eastern can't wait for that one and then Thursday past
that Sam and Davis will be drafting at 7 p.m. Eastern. That is an OG ADP chasing main event stream. It's gonna be a fun week over on Ship Chasing Path. - It is. If you're the type of drafter who thinks we're soft money, this is the best draft that you could ever be in because we're all in it separately. There's four of us. We're not co-managing. This is literally a third of the league is Ship Chasers. So yeah, jump in and if you think I'm soft money, I probably think you're soft money. So please join and I'll like, let's do this thing. - Well, the best part of added is, again, the thesis guys for the spite draft is, we've been doing these. A lot of times we come to a consensus on a pick. Sometimes it's like 3-1 and someone just kind of acquiesces, but we have a lot of like 2v2s or paths completely out on a guy or whatever. This is the chance where Davis is going to be able to like, rage, collect Terrence Ferguson and the 7th round. I'll be able to get another, he better. I'll be able to go get another Dejon Stribbling Share. All the stuff that our partners don't allow us to do in these drafts, we are going to spite make it happen and it should lead to some fireworks. - I'm not sure that that's the only way this has to play out because this is a spite draft. And I occurred to me, I've been painted like I couldn't possibly see the upside for Callston Loveland. But at the 209 or 210, I think he's a pretty good pick. So if Davis is at the 211, or sorry, if Jacob's at the 211 and I'm at the 210, it might be time for me to get a Callston Loveland share, you know what I'm saying? So I don't, if Davis is going to try to push Terrence Ferguson around a little late, you know, it might be a nice time for me to get a little Terrence. So, you know, there's, there's that. - It might take a lot of forms for sure. - Spite can take a lot of forms. - Incredible. So this will be Wednesday, 2 PM Eastern. Like I said, there are still spots available in the draft. I'm actually just going to double check right now and I'll give you the exact number. Yeah, seven of 12 spots. So five of us, four of those is us and then someone else registered. That'll be live streamed Wednesday, 2 PM Eastern. Real quick rundown though, rest of my week schedule. Tonight, like I said, stat chasing main event. Tomorrow, Derek Carr randomizer, Derek Carr randomizer. - Wow. - Did I, did you, is this your first year hearing about this? - Yeah. - Yes, it's going to be glorious. 11 a.m. Eastern, we will roll right into often on the clock with John and Nez. After that we'll have the Swolecast 3 PM. Wednesday we'll have Best Paul Breakfast 10 a.m. I do have Eric Bime for booked for our annual August draft, although I'm realizing it's going to be September, but we always try to chase the dragon of our BBM two team there. Look forward to that and some other guests I will book. We will have ship chasing, of course, the spite draft. And then the Best Paul Bash. For anyone who's a YouTube member, we're doing an after dark style. Some people can't draft with me during the day. This is your show, 8 PM Eastern. We will draft a few Best Paul Mania teams. And then Thursday, it'll just be that OG ship chasing event draft since we're pushing up randomizer in the bash. And I think that's it. Thank you everybody for tuning in, for hanging out. Lots of drafts this week. Make sure you guys are subscribed to Ship Chasing. And we'll see you next time on Best Bar Breakfast, peace.
