It's finally here... and it's SCARY!

We are not creeping towards fascism under Donald Trump. This is fascism. This is an authoritarian government. And what we do to respond to it will dictate what the future holds. Not how we prepare or what we say we're going to do, but what we do right now. And that requires the press taking action, the press fighting back. And I know that because Donald Trump is terrified of them. So terrified of the press that he is banning them from the White House grounds. And the reaction from MAGA, it's not what you would actually think. And they're really telling on themselves when they respond to decisions from Trump like this. What they're afraid of in the future and how bad and authoritarian they know this is. How anti-democratic it is. But the fascism is here. It's been here for a while. They're killing people in the street and lying to us to our faces saying what we watched isn't what we saw. They have been doing this. They will continue to do it. As long as they get to be the arbiters of the truth. They are not though. The independent media will hold them accountable if the mainstream media continues to fail and continues to be bought up. Because that is what fascism is. It is a collaboration between the authoritarian states. And of course, the corporate sector that knows that they are going to make huge profits for themselves if they do the bidding of the God King. And they are. Larry Ellison is buying up media outlets. Jeff Bezos is silencing his papers. Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk. They control our algorithms. And why? Because they know the truth is a very scary thing for Donald Trump and he doesn't like it. Which is why he is banning the press. He was asked about it in the Oval Office. He lost his mind trying to kick them out. And then Maga responded. They were pissed. We're going to cover it all in this video. I got a lot to talk about. But it begins with Donald Trump's post. Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social. I am proud to announce that effective immediately. I am banning fake news CNN, MS now, who recently changed their name from MSNBC due to lack of viewership and credibility. And Politico, the receipts of the recipients, I should say, of an illegal and ridiculous $8 million subscription in all-time record directly from the United States government, under Crooked Joe Biden in order to keep them alive, seems like corruption to me. Donald Trump has literally instructed Larry Ellison to purchase CNN, but okay, from the White House as a result of their constant reporting fake news. But by the way, this was a subscription to Politico plus which existed in governments before Joe Biden, Joe Biden had nothing to do with that. I just have to clear that up. Let's continue with the Trump tweet. Media outlets shouldn't be able to constantly write or report fiction and lies when they're covering the president of the United States. The Trump administration or the United States of America. Other fake news media outlets to follow. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I am about to say something that might stun you. I agree with Donald Trump. Let me explain in what way. That last little bit of the post. I don't believe that news outlets should be able to consistently publish false endofamitory claims. And what do I think should happen if they do? They can be sued. Now, who recently has been sued for almost a billion dollars? Was it MSNBC? Was it something that Rachel Maddow said? Now, I don't think it was. Did Caitlin Collins lie on air? And they had to see it and had to know, I like the folks at Politico. Adam Ren is a friend of mine. They do a good job of playbook. Was it something misprinting playbook? Oh, wait. It's that one outlet. Is it wolf? Is it is it lie? No, it's fox. It's the fox propaganda outlet. So it turns out you can't actually print lies in role bullshit on cable all night without some consequences. But the only people facing consequences and it wasn't just Fox. It was other right wing outlets. Were the conservative liars? Yeah, and they settled. They settled for $787 million. Not Maddow, not Caitlin Collins, not me, Fox. Fox did because they knew they were lying. They were lying. It's not the liberal media, which by the way, isn't even a thing. So no, if you do lie constantly, you are held accountable. But the problem with our press right now is not that they report too negatively on dear leader Trump. No, it's that they don't report enough on him that they don't ask follow-up questions that they don't push back. They don't talk about the tough topics nearly enough. There has been great reporting throughout this presidency, consequential reporting throughout this presidency. I would just like to see them say it to his face just a little bit more, just a little bit more. And the fact that Donald Trump is saying no more political, no more MSNBC, no more CNN in and around me, goes to show that this man increasingly needs to live in an alternate reality. It is why Natalie Harp exists to feed him a steady diet of French fries, big Macs, ice cold, coax and fucking fake news. It is the only thing he can subsist on 'cause his feelings get so hurt. It's embarrassing. It's embarrassing. The big strong tough guy with the UFC fights and the flyovers in the military parade can't take a little bit of criticism, not even a little bit. And so he's kicking people out, kicking people out. And he was asked about it and gave one of the dumbest Trump responses I've ever seen. And this response from Trump has me even more furious that these people do not push back against him more. 'Cause what was this? They all signed up and they can't believe it. And the health care costs them way down because of it, yeah, please. - Mr. President, earlier today you posted that you intend to ban CNN, Politico and MS now from the White House. Every president takes an oath to uphold the Constitution which includes the First Amendment. - I do too. - How do you justify? - Much more so than you, because they're fake news. And you get so tired of reading and seeing fake news. When you look at CNN, it's just fake. That's why the ratings are no good. When you look at MS now, which used to be MSNBC, which some people call MSD and see Democratic National Committee, it's fake news, it's fake news. And excuse me, excuse me. And when you look at P, it's Politico. I mean, they got a government, the government under Biden game, like $8 million to keep him afloat. And the stories they wrote are fake. So there's a lot of news and there may be others to join them. And maybe they can get better and would like to have men. But our country has to have honest news. You don't have a country unless you have, as I say, borders, good voting. We're straightening them out. The borders are unbelievable. Nobody's coming to our country in the last 17 months illegally. But you need borders and you need fair and free voting. And you know what you need? You need a free press. You need a fair press and an auspice. And see it and you know it. And everybody knows it. You're intelligent. I've known you a long time. You know how fake they're reporting is. It's one sided. It's never good. I've done many, many. Look at the story today about favorite nations on drugs. You lower the drug causes by 50, 60, 70%. They won't even put it in. If they put it on, it'll be a leg. They will find a reason why that's a negative. OK? [LAUGHTER] I'm going to look down at my computer that I have in front of me, a little behind-the-scenes action, to read this quote from Trump in which he says this. I want to read the quote because it's important to me to quote him correctly so I do not get kicked out of the White House. When Trump was asked about the fact that every president takes an oath to uphold the Constitution, saying Mr. President, you took that oath or are you not honoring it. He said, I do too much. Much more so than you. I do too much. I uphold the Constitution too much. Is there a cap on Constitution upholding? Well, sir, this seems like a great policy. This seems like a great proposal. I read the draft of the speech. It's wonderful. Hey, you think it's a little too Constitutiony? It's not too much Constitution. Has anyone ever said that? Has anyone-- I'll put me in cuffs. I've Constitution too much. You do too much Constitution. It's perfectly Trump. Because we know when he is emphatic about something he does, it's because he doesn't. He does not uphold the Constitution. He tries to wipe his ass with it every single day. Or I guess, clean up the bits when they take off the diaper. Much more so than you, Donald Trump by tearing up the Constitution and actively calling for our system of government to just be shut down is doing better than a reporter. The only specific, the only specific job named in our founding documents, the press, journalists. That person is doing less to uphold the Constitution and the First Amendment than Donald Trump. Interesting. I'd call that interesting. They need to ask him tougher questions. I'm serious. Why do you think everyone got kicked out of the Pentagon? It's because they knew what was coming. And they couldn't have any questions. Why do you think Pete Higgseth doesn't even go on Fox anymore? Because one, they don't want him and two, he's afraid of them. That's how bad it's gotten. But if this is Trump's response, it should only in bolden you to ask tougher questions, especially when even the right, even the right are saying not, not, not loving this one. MAGA turns on Trump over his wild media ban. The president's latest threat to the First Amendment appears to have unnerved some of his staunchest defenders. Some of Donald Trump's most ardent defenders have lashed out at the president's bid to ban media from the White House, describing the move as a desperate bid to get more favorable coverage and warning it could backfire spectacularly. As his popularity continues to tank in the polls, the president on Friday announced that CNN, MSNOW and Politico, friends of the show, would be barred from the White House and suggested that other outlets such as the New York Times and the Washington Post could soon be next. The announcement represented another escalation in the president's extraordinary second term campaign to punish news organizations he believes are insufficiently friendly to the administration. Wow, that's putting it lightly. However, the 80-year-olds latest chilling threat to the First Amendment appears to have unnerved, even some of Trump's most conservative MAGA allies. A conservative legal scholar, Jonathan Turley, a long-standing defender of the president said the move was, "An assault on long-honored principles of a free press." Oh, wow. The guy who said the press should be shot, doesn't like the press. What a shock. Barring disfavored media from the White House as a terrible precedent in practice. Serious constitutional questions, while they're serious? I don't think they're questions. I think they're, uh, he's breaking the law. Fox News anchor, Brick Hume, reposted Turley's criticism with blunt warning, "100% and if he thinks this will lead to more favorable coverage, I think he's dreaming. A consultant and former George W. Bush press secretary Ari Fleischer agreed that some outlets were more biased, but argued the answer was to challenge them, not restrict them." Open the pool in the briefing room to conservatives. Challenge liberal reporters argue and defeat them. Don't ban them, or they will do it to us. One day, they will do it to us. Even Laura Loomer was not, uh, was not really loving it, saying, "I hate to say it, but in a way the White House created the issue when they decided to deny certain independent journalists who have always supported the president press pass while allowing for hostile media." It's the Laura Loomer saying Trump hasn't gone too far. Great. She continued, "I love the president, but his staff should have seen this coming when they treated anti-Trump media personality so well." So Laura Loomer is on the wrong side of this issue, but interesting. It is laughable, the fantasy world that these conservatives live in. One day, the liberals are going to do it to us. No, we're not, because it's not what we do, but you should still not do it. But it's crazy to me that Donald Trump is cracking down on the First Amendment and still the greatest fear in their minds. Again, they're criticizing, but the greatest fear in their minds is, "Ooh, what if one day they do it to us?" It's like, "Dude, how about stop it now? Shouldn't that be the bigger concern, the guy doing it now than the AOC that might do it in the future?" And she wouldn't. It's disgusting. It's cowardice. It's Trump. It's unsurprising. It's always disgusting. Never surprised. Always discussed it. I've been saying it for years now, but that's how I feel. And it is why this job is so important and why I appreciate the trust you put in me to do it, because we are going to keep on calling out the bullshit.
