Inter-religious marriage-should a christian marry a muslim for the sake of Love?

So celebrate my birthday. And now I'm happy to be here. I'm happy to be here. Okay, sorry about the, I don't know if you can hear the cochlea ring, but I try as much as possible to do this. I mean, in the early hours of the day. But this cochlea, I don't know. The energy they have to wake up at this time. It's not like they're going to walk. It's not like they have any kind of agenda to fulfill. It's crazy. Well, god is gracious. I mean, good-created in that way. So I'm content. So, sorry about the noise. I hope you have been well. I hope your deen fine. I hope life has been good to you. I am sure that God has been good to you. You know, life may not be good to us. And I mean that to say that in this world, there are so many things that root face. But, you know, God is always good. Right? Even if life is not good, you have a good God. That is spirit and his presence. Walk was true. The issues of life. And we come out valiantly. We come out victoriously. So, God is good to you. God is good to you. Say it to yourself. Say, God is good to me. God is good to you. There will never be a time where God will be good to you. And I'm not saying this as a cliche. As something that people say. So that you can feel good about yourself. I'm just saying the truth. Biblical truth. And in a time and day where people do not or let's say Christians do not uphold the word of God as a tease. It is very important that you do yourself that favor. Or, um, believing the word of God as a tease. Believing the promises of God to you. Jesus said, "You never leave, not for say cause." Right? So, when you're going through life. And the funny thing is, I think we need to, I don't think we have to be biblical Christians. We have to be biblical Christians. In the B2, um, want to be civilized. And in the B2, want to reduce what God did in Christ Jesus. For us to mere positivity. There's been a lot of harm done to Christian faith. We are not in a Christian world. And I don't think there's going to ever be a Christian world. So, we're expected as God's children in this world. Right? To be faced by persecutions, trials, and so many other life challenges. The Bible is clear on these things. The Bible is clear that in this world you face tribulations. Because of your faith. In fact, those that are not even Christians, life is life in them. Jesus, what I'm saying. So, um, we must be biblical. People should know that, um, being a child of God, being born again, does not now, um, exclude you from the battles in this world. Because this world is not our own. Right? So, it is very okay for us to face challenges that, um, that are not palatable in this world. This world is not my own, not your own, we're passing by here. Right? We're passing by. But the, the, the, the glorious thing is that we have a op in God. We have a op in Christ Jesus. That the sufferings of this present times are not worthy to be compared with the gluid of the revealed in us. You know, so these are things that believe us most. No, it is a part of the faith. It's a part of the package of being born again. Right? It is not too positively confess out of it. That's not a point. It is that we must be, um, we must be geared up. Right? To face life as victorious people. We wouldn't need victory if there was no war, right? Do you understand? And Christ is our victory. So when we're walking through this life as defeated people, we're working as victorious people. Ah, man, I didn't mean to go that route. But I just thought to say that, um, that something has been bringing my heart. And it's not something very deep. But I think it's deep. And why I'm going to talk about this is, because, um, it is very important that we stand where the word of God stands. And for a generation where anybody can pick up their phones, during light, their microphones, and begin to say things, and begin to, um, influence the tot of young people, even sometimes the older generation. Talking about a ringglyte, let me quickly say, that I'm going to get out of everyone that supported, um, this podcast going visual, right? For, like, a week, I've not had to do any posting, because I was in between some assignments, and I couldn't exactly get myself to sit and record, right? But I want to say thank you to everyone that I supported, since I started. I mean, I've rewled out several videos, and the love has been massive. I appreciate you. And that's why I've not been so consistent doing the audio. You know, I'm just one person. Let's just lead to that I can do at the same time. But I thank God. I'm not, I'm not complaining. I thank God for the release of His grace. I thank God for the anointing. I am not, I'm not going to be humble, you know, to say that I am not anointed. I'm not a bad judge. It's, um, beautiful to know that the good God looks at someone like me and says, "My hand is upon you. I've called you to do this." It's a great privilege. And it's not a privilege that I want to mismanage, you know, in terms of, I've seen people say things like, "Oh, you can't just be living by the anointing. I'm not having to miss you because I don't want to do that." I can have both, right? So I strive in my personal world we've got, you know, to build intimacy we've got, to know God beyond the anointing. The anointing will always be there, right? The gifts and the callings of God are a tarry pentance. But it's something that as a minister of the gospel, you have to feed, you have to not just necessarily feed because of the people or because of your ministry, but for your own spiritual health, you have to build a world we've got, which by the grace of God, I know that God does not desire to anoint a man, right? And leaving at that point, no. So many times it's the destruction that comes with life, you know. You forget that, oh, the various things we are anointing, is to actually fellowship with God is to help you, right? It's not necessarily to take you out of fellowship with God and then you just function as a minister. So what was I saying that let's do this? Thank you to everyone for supporting. Thank you. It's like I said, it's a privilege to be called by God, to be anointed by God. And I do not take it for granted. And I also do not take you for granted for being a part of what God has begun in my life. So thank you for supporting. Much more videos would be out by the grace of God. I'm still trusting God to settle out, you know, a few other things. And I just got in no time. Would fulfill that part, right? So yeah, let's get down to what I want to talk about. Over the weekend I saw a movie. I saw a movie, "Wen Love Praise" that's the title. I'm saying it because it was actually a good movie. Production, direction, casting, great actors and actresses. How did I even stumble upon that movie? So I had watched "Behind the Scenes" on my phone, "Calky Daily". I know, if you're listening, I know you know. If you're Nigerian or maybe African, I don't know. If you know from "Calky Daily" and African's in the ass, but she's at Nigeria and produced an actress and she produced a movie that was released in December. I had a cinema, I couldn't go to the cinema so it was out on Netflix. So I watched "Behind the Scenes" and was such a great movie, great story. I like movies that people write, right? And they are not trying to force their knowledge of the Christian faith into it. Like you're not trying to force people to see that, "Oh, you're trying to write a Christian story." Now when I'm in a Christian story, I mean, you're trying to use biblical elements, make it a story about, oh God's grace, I know of that. So it was just a normal movie, right? Normal life movie and it was good. So when I saw it, I discovered an actress by the name Uchi Montana. And I saw that, oh, this lady's actually very beautiful and she acted well in the movie. So I thought, okay, let me check out on YouTube and I'm gonna confess, every time that I watch movies, I'm not a movie fan, I don't watch movies like that. I'm not, if I watch a movie with you, I would honor you because you're around. So I just watch the two hours, three hours, I'm not that patient with movies. And when I'm watching it, I tend to forward movies a lot. Like let's get to the point, on the issue path. So I just wanna watch a movie that, I watch it to our movie in an hour, 'cause every year that I feel is unnecessary, I just wanna get straight to the point. So for every time that I watch a movie, maybe I spend time watching movie or movies, I feel very guilty like, what's up, just doh. You know, like I feel like, no, you should not be doing this. And I think he's okay. Why don't I understand that God is the angry that I'm taking time out to watch movies? I think it's also okay to feel that way because, whatever you're doing outside of you're feeling with God, right? Whatever you're doing that is outside of that. We must be careful not to overdo, not to overstep, right? Because the moment you spend your time watching one, two, three, four, five, six, seven movies at a stretch or you watch them in episodes, right? Netflix acts a lot of that. And that's why I try not to go to Netflix honestly, because you're watching episode one, and it's like 45 minutes and the next, then episodes are 45 and I'm like, God, what is this? And the story is always intriguing. You always wanna see what happens, right? So for every time that I watch movies, I just feel like, I should have been doing this, you know? And why, like I said, is not the same to watch movies, but you must, you know, okay. Well, someone puts this better. She was explaining how talking, like, having a conversation with someone is not the same until it becomes too much. Ethan is not the same until you become a gluten. Jesus, so there are so many things that are not seen, that it is when you give too much attention to them, that they become a weight that easily be set up, like, you know, that weight becomes a weight. So for every time that I watch movies, and I like the fact that I get to feel guilty, like, no. And I'm not talking about condemnation, I'm just saying, that's a little bit of, so it puts a check, it puts a check. But I saw that movie, so I went on YouTube, and I saw, this is just lady, the Uchi Montana, let me see, so I saw, when love, I was like, "Oh, okay, let's see." Mama G was also in the movie. So I said, "Okay, let me see." And I watched it, so watching, and like I said, good production, and all of that, I'm not gonna take that away, but the message, which is why I'm recording this episode. The message in that movie, about interreligious marriage, Christian's marriage, Muslims, just, I know that so many knowledge would move this, I've tried to portray the love that exists between Christians and Muslims, right? The Dive Donnie's subtly, the Dive Donnie's loudly such that in a movie like "When Love Prays" and one of that movie, that was also recently released that I've not watched, but when I saw the thumbnail, I knew that. It's another, "Oh, let love reveal" kind of movie, "Christian, Marry, Muslim, Analogist, Dota, "Pastor, Son, Analogist, Son, "Pastor's Dota, or something, gay married." There were issues by the end of the day, love prevailed, did it, did it, did it? Good story, any intermixes to an atroman. And I'm not here to sound alarms of condemnation, writing down my hair to make anybody feel uncomfortable, but we must stand where the word of God stands as Christians. We must be able to discern which is the truth and something that feels good and appealing to the eyes of men or to the ears of men, right? So there is not a time where the Bible in history, and even in the days of early fathers in faith, there was not a time where interreligious marriage was gracious. And when I mean gracious, I mean those are the time where God validated it. Now, I just, whoever is listening to my speech, I want you to please listen to me carefully, especially if you I believe I'm saying this because it is important that we know, right? It is important that we understand why this should not be. It is not because we ate Muslims or we ate traditionalist, and of course there is not so much that are seen between Christian and traditionalists, and always Christian and Muslim, right? And it's in the bit to preach love, or love prevails, where religion. And I know that there is a lot of religious nonsense happening in Africa, in Nigeria, religious wars, tribal wars, and all of that. And one of the ways that we tend to agree is when we say, oh, let love lead, right? Don't let religion come between us and all of that. Which makes a lot of sense, especially when politicians want to play, when they want to dribble us. I know election is coming in 1997. Elections have consequences. Let me go back to what I'm saying. When politicians want to dribble us, do all these advocates, you know, Christian Muslim, wooden hands, unity, love, beautiful stuff, beautiful stuff, right? However, we must be careful not to define love, the weak God does not define love. Second Corinthians 6, I think, 14. The Paul the Apostle wrote to the Corinthians church about what has light got to do with darkness. What as the temple of God got to do with the temple of God? You know, we're talking about our, we must not be on equally yoked with unbelievers. The reason is because the Christian faith, if you check down memorably, the Christian faith is not merely a mental accent. It's not something that you just mentally accept. It's deeper than that. What you have believed and whom you have believed, right? Is what and whom other religions do not believe? You know, the Muslim faith, they believe it. Jesus has profitees. But I've not read so much about them, but I've read a few articles, especially when he has the bit of apologetics where, you know, the deity of God, the deity of Jesus, and the argument here and there, some videos of ex-Muslims converting to Christianity, you know, I've watched teachings on apologetics, defend the faith. So I have a question. like a few things to say about that. So the very essence of our faith, we just celebrated Easter. So I believe that we should know why Easter was celebrated. That the very essence of our faith is that God came in the flesh as Jesus is so far. He died, He was buried, and He rexurected. This is what we believe as Christians. We believe it, Ukraine and Sinca. We believe that Jesus is God. Not a mere prophet. We believe that the Word of God, the Bible is God's final authority. Not the other way round. And if you check, especially between the two religions, for the sake of this conversation, our term, Christianity as a religion. G-G-G-R-M, and Islam as a religion as well. So because some people, they are like, "Oh, this sense is not a religion, it's a relationship, I understand, but for the sake of this context, so what separates clearly this religion is where our faith is placed. As a believer, as a Christian, I put my faith in the finished walks of Christ. I believe that God came in the flesh and carried the burdens of my sins and died for me and rectified. If you don't know anything, as a child of God, as a believer, as a Christian, you should know this. And knowing these cuts brings this separation. And this separation is not a separation as to hatred, right? Or any other thing. It's just a separation in terms of, this is who I have believed, this is what I have believed. You know, being born again is a spiritual activity, a spiritual encounter transformation. There is something that happens or that has happened in the spiritual. There is a conversion, there is a translation from the kingdom of darkness, the kingdom of God's Jesus. So it's not, I don't know, oh my God, it's not some feel good, you know, I just want to belong to the Christians. I like the priest party, I like holding nice, nice things that church people do, you know, out to reach out, they give to the poor. Good stuff we should do those things, right? But beyond that, there is a conversion, spiritual conversion that happened. There was an exchange of death for life. And it is so sad that a lot of Christians do not know these basic things about their feet. And when it comes to the matter of entirely just marriage, you are quick to say, oh, but I know Christians are marrying Muslims and you know, the way it is fine, they are good, some people even have parents and deep respect to you, I'm not shading anyone. Some people have parents that, you know, have different religious beliefs, and we are raised in that kind of family. And they turned out well. So it's not about maybe you turn out to a good beaver, a bad beaver. It is we, we are the Bible stands. One thing that you find about the God of the Bible, right? Is, is intolerance. For saving another God. Go and check from the testament is relationship it. Israel. Every time those ones go and carry out their gods, God will make his standards. Say no. You are do�reus. So when we are talking about, oh, should Christians marry Muslims blah, blah, blah, it is not merely a case of whether the Muslim is a good best or the precise, a good person. We are talking about confidence. We are talking about our belief or our beliefs. Two different beliefs. And people, or the other set of people have said, we save the same God. We do not save the same God. Now, why am I saying this? I'm not saying this, you know, to make anybody feel uncomfortable or bad or whatever or to feel sad about your religion or anything. There is a reason why you're doing what you're doing. I need to be talking. All right. Let's not try to marry two contradicting beliefs because what we're preaching peace and love in context, because these things were, were, were, were interpreting them wrongly. Let's not marry them. We're talking about marriage, which before God is a convenant, a man and a woman coming into a convenant. And this is why it is important that we're not equally yoked because two different convenants cannot pass. It's just like saying I so want, I so want, I so want me. And it's also funny to me. So, the meme was about doing a genotype and the added things that are not patrims genotype. Say, "Ae, an e, kamari, yes, an e, kamari, yes, an e, is kanomari." Then they said, then, you know, because they said things like "I have not eaten." So, please go and eat a kanomari. I have no walking. I do have a job yet, a kanomari. And they made it like funny. So, we tried to marry what should not be together. All in the name of what trying to be receptive. We're talking about two different beliefs. In fact, I think it's first John. I may not be accurate. It's in one of the book of John's maybe first John, where the writer was talking about the fact that if you don't believe that God came in the flesh, I think also it was saying that you are cursed or something. To not believe that God came in the flesh. So, so, if you don't believe that God came in the flesh. A good Muslim. Yeah, my word, good Muslim. Does not believe that Jesus came in the flesh. Did you hear what your Bible said about that? Because that is the contention. Your belief, your fate, must be a priority. And Christ ends must begin to know these simple things. How can you be a Christian? You have not paid attention. You don't even know whom you believe the watcher believed. That's why many things can happen. That's why we come here. We know these debates. If you meet and this is also a matter of devotion, devotee Muslims, they don't. All these conversations we have in the church. You don't find them in the mosque. They don't talk about all these things. Because many of them are living a devotee life to their God. It's a devotion thing. When you are devoted to be devoted to give your entire life to something. You know look for the easy way out. And try to marry what is not. Have I said that? It is wrong to be a friend who must all know. I have amazing Muslim friends. I honor them. I respect them. Right. In fact, like I said, there is no Christian word. So it's not like you say, "Yeah, no, eh." Because of our faith, we cannot talk to music. That's not the point. Please, let's not. Okay, everybody's arguing, it's been sorry. Muslim was, I have them. Good people, colleagues that were great guys, great, great, great. I want to meet you guys. I'm a male and female. Great people. We're good. We're not, nobody's fighting. I'm not trying to look at them as you. I don't have any age ready in my heart towards them. Right. So I'm not saying that we can't be friends of muslims, don't talk to muslims, don't do business. You just be deceiving yourself. That's not true. Right. But what we are saying is, when it comes to the matter of our faith, human what we have believed, there's a clear code difference. And marriage should not even occur. If you are living from the place of conviction, of woman what you have believed. So the problem is, many people do not have convictions. Many of us do not have convictions. We are just religion, Christianity, Islam or as many people do not have convictions. Because if you are convinced about whom you have believed, there are conversations you don't be having. There are conversations you don't be having. There are enough Christians whom have allowed the Lord to keep doing and working them everywhere. Plenty. And I know that they are also Christians that sometimes you are wondering what's going on. Are you sure I try to go to? Some of them are not emotionally intelligent, they can pray, they can fast but they don't. They are no kind. And that thing used to buff me because I don't know. It makes me question if some people are actually born again. Because that activity that happened the day you allow Jesus into your heart is not something that will leave you out of bed. Right? As you progress, men will see the fruits that this one has met with Jesus. So when I see people acting is funny we consistently so. And they are doing chakra, there's something not connecting. There's no way in the Bible where people are just prayer warriors and they are living in the heart. They are no kind. So maybe those are kind of examples that we have seen and we have met and then you have met us feel like if you passed or can be disliked. Because I've had crazy stories. They passed or can be disliked. Look at that. That's cool. Abdul Abdul. I don't want to mention names that I know. Let me see. I think I don't have any friends that I have to gelil. I don't know if he makes it. I'm so sorry. I'm just trying to get. And then you look at him and he's like, "Oh, cool guy. That's smart." And honestly, you can have the beautiful marriage where there's peace in your own mind everything. Right? And peace is relative anyway. But the truth is many of us don't even know whom we have believed. And that's why all these kind of conversations will come up. And nollywood actors and actresses produce as writers will come and also shove down nonsense in your truths. You forget that there's something beyond all these mushy mushy things that they do in those movies. All the nice, nice actors, good delivery, exceptional production and all of that. And he'd be carried away like, "Oh, in that movie, that one love priest." So very funny thing. Mama G was the. I want to be a Mama Demi patient with all the photos that I don't know as Mama G. She was the mother of the bride, of the wife. And one of the mother was the mother of the husband. The husband is a muslim. The bride is the child of the pastor. Right? They go married because love happened. I fall in love, I love you, I love you. Come married. And they give birth to each other. The mother came for a mother. Both mothers came for a mother. What's the quality of the word? English. They came to stay with the child and the family. And. The groom's mother was praying in the Islamic Queen in the house. The bride's mother too, she was there. Oh, fire. Oh, she's a calabat. Oh, and I'm looking at that chaotic atmosphere. Like, what's going on here? No, no, no. Even in that movie, you could clearly see, right? That's. These are just two different experiences and people. In one house. Jesus said he else divided the cases of Kanostat. And like I said, there are people that are. that are growing up in such family where the father is a Muslim, the mother is a Christian. They get to maybe follow the father to most sometimes. You know, just. And they grow up well, they are good, they are fine. At least what people say on the internet have not heard. I don't think I have any friends that grow up in such an environment that I know of. So I can't categorically speak about that, like clearly. But. Do you care what I'm saying? The most no one will believe. We must be convinced about the fate. The Christian fate doesn't preach hatred. Right, it doesn't preach hatred. We preach is love, the love of God. And this love of God is not what people have tried over the years. To sell to us. We're talking about the love of God in Christ Jesus. Demonstrated true Christ Jesus through His. His Beth is suffering on this earth. His Beth is burial on His resurrection. Knowing that Christ bore the bodies of us since, there was an exchange. We took His righteousness, it took us six. And that putting our faith in what He has done, we eternally see it. We have a relationship we could. We are called the sons of God. We can call God Abba. We can call Him Father. This is what makes up what we call Christianity or what Christianity ought to be. And this is what other religions do not believe. I can call God my Father. Other people can call God their Father. You see this striking difference, sharp difference. Yet we see come and be talking about it. You know why just let's just be this, let's just be that. Let's not preach hatred. Called Jorah. She must know these things as God's children. She must know. Don't let the time of life, the clock of life push you. To do what you're not supposed to do. You see because you're getting old, do you leave a person coming around you, is that Muslim guy, that your friend, that cool guy, or that one that was not believing God. I'll say what time I was called. And like let's just live in peace and harmony. Well, Elias. For God, your Father, is faithful. How can somebody give you his son, his only son? How can someone give you his spirit and his husband, he will not give you and his wife, he cannot give you? Do you know what it means for God? Oh God. I pray that they understand him. I don't know how best to say this. I'm still I know that I'm going I'm still going to record a visual part of this just shot. Because I can't do 35 minutes video right? I don't have a YouTube channel yet. So that would have allowed it. But I knew that this act to be broken down. So a five minute stimulus with me not capture some of the things that I've said. Don't just be a Christian. That is all around. You join everything. Every can be platform online. You don't know. Okay. You have not taken time to sit. I just even do small research. And some people do not speak about this thing because maybe they have a fear that oh, this one that I'm saying. Maybe because life has not touched you. Maybe, maybe, maybe, me safe. I'll consider marrying outside my faith. Let me not talk about it. It's still because you don't know God. Because if you know your God, you know that your God is not an unfaithful God. Now, all three of you who is able to keep you from falling. God is faithful. All your fears are through the amount of the feet of Jesus. And follow Him. Follow Him. And if you know you are following Jesus, you know that Jesus will not promise you a soft-life gank. I pray that God helps us. Mentor, when I think of what I think of the love of God demonstrated on the cross. You know, this is the season. Right? This last week is the celebration. I was just in a state of, I don't know, as I remain committed as I listen to messages concerning Easter. Because of the kind of person that I am, I'm not saying that it has to be your experience yet. I cry loads when I listen to some messages, when I listen to some semasong songs about what Christ has done for me. When I think of it personally, I'm just like God. This is huge. Thank you. He says, "I am the way, the truth and the life." No one comes to the Father, except by me. This verse alone is enough evidence. It's enough if you sit with it, to know that, we're not the same. Right. We're not the same. And what Christ says, "Don't," the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, the life that He gave us, is enough, thinking on what He has done is enough, to help us stand with Him, and not look back for convenience, for the applause of men, to be good to men. He died for us so that we can be for Him. Right. So I want you to think on this truth. I want you to share this with as many that you can. Right, then. Be blessed. Thank you so much for listening.
