So she ended up posting an apology on Sunday to Instagram She said posting about the Lindsey Clancy trial in the same breath as a brand partnership was completely insensitive wrong and out of character for me I should have known better and I feel sick that didn't see that in the moment And she said that the trial really affected her because she's also a mother She's that I've been following it so closely talking about it constantly and feeling heartbroken over every part of it I became so consumed by the trial that I completely lost perspective and didn't stop to think about how grossly and Appropriate was to discuss something this tragic in that context. I made a terrible judgment call and feel so Effing awful about that. I know deleting it doesn't erase it Believe me. I'm horrified by the choice I made and please know this lapse in judgment does not represent who I am as a person I am so deeply sorry, but then she turned about the comments. I don't like that. And I was angry. I know. I really tried before I react to anything to like, take a minute, take a breather. I like, guess your chance at TikTok. I don't even know this person, but he pops up a lot. And I think because now I watch his full videos through, I think he's a rage beta. He married that really pretty girl on TikTok. Remember I talked about it? They have this gorgeous wedding, she looks like Pamela Anderson. He, my preconceived notion just from what I see, he seems do she, but then again, he's always kind of like, rage beta. He's like, he goes, he's the one that was like filming and she's signing the bill. And he's like, I like this interaction. Like he just, he seems to like negative interaction, which doesn't make sense though, because like, his wife is so beloved. Like she's like, beloved. She's like, beautiful, kind, sweet. Like a Disney princess. And he hasn't come across as an asshole, but then he does. So I think he likes rage bait. But I, he was like, doing a TikTok gesture. And it actually can rage me so much. I was about to talk to you down this house again. I was like, I was gonna react and just scream. But it was like, okay, so he talks about, because now he's a stepdad. He's around like parents more. And he's like, you the thing that works me the most being around parents, all that I'm a stepdad. And his son is like, his stepson is like five or six or something like that. He's like, is the fact that no parent, every parent thinks their kid is great, that they're a genius, that they're a super athlete. Like no one thinks their kid is just average. Like, oh, my kid's so smart, he's such a great reader. No, he's, he's an average first grade reader. And it's like, he's, he's like, how come nobody can just admit, why are we hyping all these kids up? Like they're not all gonna be great. They're all not gonna be star athletes. Like, and I was just like, so. - That's definitely rage bait. - You think? - Yeah. - But he has a stepson that he talks about and he's with and stuff like that. Like, why would you say that when you just became a stepparent? Is anything of that nature is like the most outrageous, like it causes immediate reaction? - I think he was being, I think he thought he was eating. I think it's real. I thought it was real. - I mean, it could be, but it's a nature is, like to say that out loud means that you want to get, that you want to angry those parents. - Then I hate this person. I hate this person. And that's really what he's doing. He's just saying this stuff, because not only is it harmful to other parents and other kids, what about your own stepsson watching like one day? Like it's just such, like you have a beautiful wife who's like a really, like seemingly good mom and stuff like that. It's like you say you want kids one day. It's like, why would you put that out there? Like I would never rage weight something about like when I have children. Be like, hey guys, who's feeding their kids breakfast? Like, they should be, they should be intermittent fasting. Like if you want them to be athletic, like it's such a crazy thing because then you assume my children are not eating breakfast and I'm not feeding them. So it's just like such a crazy thing to, okay, well, if you rage weight you got me because I made the TikTok today, but also you're just an awful person then. Okay, then I, then I change my mind, I just hate this person. I was like, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt whatever 'cause you know, you're like a new parent, whatever. But then to be like, oh, I'm around, all right. Well, you got me, but also hype your kids up. Your kids should be the best in your eyes. Your kids should be the superstar in your eyes. No matter what my kids do, they're the best at everything and every kid should feel that way from their parent that they should feel. Is that like, 'cause some people think that's also like, oh, you shouldn't like give your kids like false hope or delusion, but it's like. - No, 'cause I remember, especially like in the art world I remember friends and people that like parents would be like, well, don't try to be an artist 'cause like one in a million succeeds. And I'm like, well, that's how you should view your son or daughter that they are that one in a million. - Yes. - Like, that's where you were. - That's what I think, too. - Yeah, it definitely is. - I think it's okay, especially when they're like, five, and a very young age. So like, when you put in rage bait, like you can't be a troll and a sincere person. Like you just can't. And I think something that lost the loss and it actually makes me mad. There are people like that who think they're motivating kids by telling them that they're worthless. Cause the competitive world is different. Like in the competitive world, you need to know exactly where you stand and what you're doing, but kids are not there. You know, they're still building up their confidence and their character. So anyway, hey, rage baiting. I hate rage. I hate that everyone rage baits now. And they get me to, is it crazy? Like back in the day, like, trolling. And everyone's like, it's cute trolling. And like, oh, just like rage bait. Like, same thing. Yeah, and I think too, especially now, like when you're describing him, I'm like, I feel like he knows that there's going to be a lot of people who don't like him. So trolling or rage baiting is a way to control it. Like, yeah, you're not liking me because I'm telling you, it's not like me, basically. Like, it's like a control thing. Where it's like, yeah, they don't like me. And I'm cool with it because I'm making them not like me. That's what he says, yeah. He's like, I'm making money. Every time you guys engage, love it. And a lot of times, they will walk in telling you, this is going to be the cost. But then as they go into the job, the cost will inflate and inflate and inflate and inflate. Oh my god, that part. I'd even tell you about that. We wanted to do this like, little cute kids, the lighthouse thing. Remember at that call? Yeah. And then they sent me like a little screen of like everything that I was going to cost. I was like, oh, it's kind of expensive. But okay, but then when we were like getting through it more, shake, oh, here's the add-ons. And I was like, the add-ons were like, oh, if you want us to talk to like the manufacturers on how to get this built. And I was like, wait, what do you mean? She was, well, if you want us to talk to people getting built, it's going to be another $8,000. And then if you want us to help you with materials, it's another $8,000. So I make this, so this, this price doesn't include materials, build, setup, nothing. It was just the design, $48,000 for a single design of a little children's, like literally the size of this corner, like literally so small. That's why I was designed only. That's why I was hesitant because I knew basically what it's probably going to be. And then they give you the design and then like, oh, well, you can take it to, I said, oh, my husband does works with contractors. Oh, well, he can give it to them and this or whatever like that. I'm like, so what is the $40,000? I'm like, oh, we give you the design. I'm like, well, you're designing all day long. You're always sketching in a little paper. I was just like, and you get the dimensions. You have the dimensions for them. I'm like, well, here's the demand. Like, here's everything. Like, he already sketched it. Like, you remember when I built them that little Barbie house, the real size one, like that, they're basically charging $50,000 for that. But where do 8,000 does include materials talking to the people set up cloths for design? I mean, like, is that great? I mean, I get it. I'm definitely dying to pay artists for their working creators. Like, for what is there? $40,000 kind of crazy, right? For a little, there are different brackets. Like, if you're a billionaire and you want to do something, you pay that. It's a small room, though. Right. But that's, but that's what they do. Is it a real man? - That's an excellent question. - Putting out books, you know what I mean? And it is unsurprisingly being panned as just a very bad book. - And also like Mr. Beast fans, are they like really trying to read a James Patterson novel? - That is the gag. So the way that he advertised this book was quite interesting. He said, "Growing up, I thought books were boring "and reality, I just didn't read anything "that actually interests me." - Mr. Beast said this? - Mr. Beast said this. - Oh, man. - Love advertising a book by saying, "I hate reading." Like, okay. The most-- - Oh my God, that's so funny. - Which is why I teamed up with James Patterson to write the most dangerous games. For many people, this might be the first book they actually read and hopefully enjoy. Ha-ha. - Give it a read and tell me what you think. So it essentially is just like a Mr. Beast video in book form. At first, I was like, well, okay, if it's like a kid's book then, you know, whatever it is, it's getting kids to read. It's like not for kids. - Yeah. And this is what I thought was so funny is the pre-sales leaked, for like the pre-orders for the book. And they were like really surprisingly low. - What was it? - So according to a publishing gossip, pre-orders for the book numbered in the four digits, which is a vanishingly small number for a title rumor to be subject to a deal of over $1 million with Hartburg Collins. - Damn, damn. - For figure pre-order, which is not that surprising. The book also costs $30. So it's like at my pick price. So it's like if you can watch Mr. Beast video for free, who's gonna pay $30 for a similar thing. - Yeah, 'cause it's just like not his demographic, which is so weird, like to fill a little linchable things. Like they love those. The demographic they're going to school. They want some lunchies. - So we'll see how the sales go because after it came out, this is where Jimmy strikes. He posted a video that if you buy the book, you can win a $1 million prize. So basically it's kind of like a golden ticket. I know. It's kind of like bribing people, though, by a book. It's like a lottery ticket, essentially. But it's 30 dollar lottery tickets. - Like legal. - It's not the whole thing with David and all that stuff. The special chosen one wins a billion dollars and then also like solves all the world's issues. And they battled through snake-infested forest. They traversed through glaciers, punch sharks in the nose and things like that. - It's a carry water too. - Very that. - Just like we heard all these stories before, and I think Mr. Beast's knocking us anything new. - What the cover looked like, anything fun? - No, it just says like the most dangerous game like in text and then, yeah, it's like kind of very graphic, like not even anything like super gripping or anything. And also he is a character in the games himself. Yeah, it's very odd. He, in the book, he's like the host of the games, but then he becomes a contestant in-- - Mr. Beast. - Jimmy Donaldson himself, yes. They have like access to the outside world. Dev TV, cable, internet, books, libraries, especially if you're not, you know, a criminal, like a violent criminal or the white collar criminals, they're basically like in a summer camp. Which is crazy. They should actually get them more punishment because it's like, you got away with this because you're rich, but they were rich person to lose the freedom is somewhat painful. Why did she do that? I think she is a little bit. She looks on a different like the wrong spectrum. No, she's on a, she looks crazy. I mean, that movie, I mean, I don't know from the movie, but she seems insane. Because it wasn't real, right? There was no technology she invented. She just kind of claimed it. No, they were like fake it till you make it, but they just never make it. That guy on TikTok needs to talk to her, be like, you're actually just average and getting, because sometimes you have too much delusion. So maybe that's where he was coming from. Maybe he saw this. She had too much confidence. She's not that, the issue is that people bought into her delusion. That was the problem. That's true. But then when it, what really got me wasn't even the, the contractual stuff and we were promised a set and help and all this stuff like that. It was that interview she did on "Color Daddy." So Alex Earl was on "Color Daddy." That's where the, the one where they're like on the balcony outside. And it's like that interview was actually insane, right? That was actually insane. And then maybe you feel bad for Alex Earl. I was like, well damn, like, which is so crazy that Alex Cooper was baiting Alex Earl knowing that that interview existed before all the business stuff before like her trying to like sabotage her podcast or whatever they said. Cause like, whatever to me, that was kind of like a nothing burger being like, oh, they didn't give us, which I mean, it does suck. They didn't give us like production and stuff like that. Sure, but I think this was more the thing. Like Alex Cooper kind of like setting her up and make some, how many guys did you, how blacked out did you get? I was like, that's a crazy interview. I think they got away with it for a long time because of the nature of color daddy being like a very sexual, especially like back then, and it's origin, you know, being very sexual in nature. And also according to Alex or all she asks for things to be edited out, but then they weren't. Like she wanted some of it removed or left out of the interview, some of the sexual questions and then they still went and published them. So that was like one of the big gripes as well. Which again, definitely makes sense why she feels some type of way. I think Cooper felt very much willing to like, throw it out there and put it all on to, or to respond because like, I think everyone knew that it was gonna be something. And Earl said that Cooper, I took advantage of her admiration from her. She said, I was obsessed with Alex Cooper. I was like, this is my idol. I'm so happy to work with her. And then the interview happened and then when they were trying to do the podcast, basically the hot mass with Alex Earl podcasts, she really didn't have any resources. They kind of just gave her equipments of filming and that was that. And then I think it was Bill says, she'll put the comparison of like Harry Jalsey also started his podcast under unwalt the same time when he got a set and full like production. So the difference between like the amount of resources put into like Earl versus Harry Jalsey's podcast, very, very evident. So this goes into the running theory that everyone has had for years since this beef has happened that Alex Cooper might have signed Alex Earl as a way to like tame the competition almost. Like you can kind of control the trajectory of her career if she's signed to end well. Like because you're in charge of like, what resource she's getting, et cetera. That's like the big conspiracy theory that's running behind it because that doesn't make sense. Like if you are signing onto this big network and yeah, it is a startup. But if at the same time, someone else is getting a whole asset and you're getting a white wall in the bed.
