🚨Ilhan Omar’s Home RAIDED By Feds...Here's What They're Looking For | DOJ Opens Investigation Into TV Networks Alleged 'Monopoly'; Zelensky On Thin Ice Amid Diesel Uproar S6 E14
77m 44s
Federal agents conducted a court-authorized search of Ilhan Omar’s home in Washington, D.C., investigating potential immigration fraud linked to her citizenship claim. The inquiry centers on whether she was under 18 when she acquired U.S. citizenship, a key detail under immigration law. Omar’s office has called the raid political and a targeted attack, denying any wrongdoing. Despite her denial, the search underscores the principle that no one is above the law, as it was legally approved by a judge—similar to past cases like Mar-a-Lago. The investigation may extend to broader immigration cases involving her family. Separately, the Justice Department is probing the major TV networks for possible antitrust violations, alleging they colluded to withhold White House pool coverage, especially during the president’s visits. This scrutiny follows ABC News’ controversial retraction of a report linking Trump family investments to Pentagon contracts, which raised concerns about journalistic integrity and bias. Additionally, the president criticized Ukraine’s attacks on Russian diesel refineries, arguing they disrupt global energy supply and harm U.S. farmers, and warned that such actions could be politically motivated. The broader context includes a surge in Republican fundraising and registration in key swing states, suggesting strong momentum for the party in upcoming midterms, while also highlighting tensions over press freedom and foreign policy.
Well, we knew it would happen eventually. What a day. What a morning. Not such a good
one for Ilhan Omar. Welcome to the program, everyone. I'm Trish Regan. And federal agents
were out there at dawn this morning, somewhere around 6 a.m., searching the house of Ilhan
Omar in Washington, D.C. We have her reaction. I have a look at what they were looking for
and much, much more. Plus, I want to talk a little bit about Zelensky and Ukraine and
that diesel. You know, he's really, really getting on the president's nerves. The president's
calling for someone new to come into Ukraine sooner rather than later. And some new polling
data out and some new information that is making the left very, very nervous. And I
imagine those on the right, very, very happy. Welcome to the program. I'm Trish Regan. Please
make sure you subscribe. Federal agents this morning searching the home of one representative,
Ilhan Omar, in Washington, D.C., all part of a criminal investigation.
Homeland Security Investigations, known as HSI. They're the ones that conducted the
search at Ilhan Omar's residence. And we actually have a feed that came in. Let's take a look
at some of this video. Voila. Outside Ilhan Omar's home. And you can see the Fed's vehicles.
You see the stop. Wait a second. Do you see the stop funding Israel signs right nearby?
Yeah. Lovely. OK, so here we've got one officer coming out. He's got some
money. It's quite a bin, I'd say. Quite, quite a bin. The question is, what is it they
are looking for? It's believed that they're looking for something that would be related
to her citizenship that she got back when she was allegedly 17 years old. And I say
allegedly because that's one of the things that's in dispute right now. And that's one
of the possible documentation things that they're trying to look up. In other words,
was Ilhan who she said she was? And the answer to that question is, yes, it is. And the answer
is, yes, it is. And the answer to that question
was and the age that she said she was. Again, if you're just joining us right now, we're looking
at some video outside Ilhan Omar's home with the feds having gone in with a court-authorized,
I want to emphasize that, that's actually really, really important, this is a court-authorized
search. So we're not just talking about politics anymore, you have a judge signing off on this.
Of course, they can sign off on things, remember they signed off on the Mar-a-Lago one.
Mm-hmm. And I do recall at the time, what did everybody tell us? Oh, but that was just the law,
just the law, right? The law doing its thing, that no one was above the law. Well, I think Ilhan Omar
is learning the hard way here, that no one is above the law. And again, this is a video that
just came in a short time ago of the feds outside Ilhan Omar's home. It looks like they got
themselves a few bins worth of stuff, and she ought to be kind of nervous. Again, court,
authorized search here, that is the distinction. So DOJ confirmed that HSI,
Homeland Security Investigations, executed a judicially authorized warrant. This was obtained
by the Justice Department, but it did not publicly identify the investigation's specific basis. So
we're doing a little bit of speculation here as to why they're going in. One would have to assume,
of course, this is immigration fraud. That is what the reported focus is.
Reporting indicating that investigators are examining immigration paperwork completed by
her late father when she was just a child. Here's another angle. I believe a little earlier in the
day, this is as they were going into the house, Fox News being the first one to report on this.
I guess they had a source tipping them off. But we've been hearing about this for a while, right?
Have we not? Over and over and over again, they've been telling us something's going to happen,
and we've been kind of waiting and watching.
And wondering when it was going to go down. Anyway, the federal agents going into her house,
coming out this afternoon with a whole lot today, rather a whole lot of bins, and not a whole lot,
I mean, a couple of critical ones. They don't need much. They just need what they think they
want to get, which would be something I would have to think regarding her age and regarding
his background. Don't forget, she came here as a young girl, right? Her father,
helped them escape Somalia, and there's some debate as to whether or not, and we're going to
get into that, whether or not he was really one of the good guys, and whether or not she deserved
refugee status. But either way, she would have had to have been under the age of 18. She is denying
any kind of wrongdoing, whether it be about marrying the brother, as that has been alleged
as well, or having come to the country and said she was 17 when she got her citizenship versus 18.
All of this, she denies.
Her office is calling this particular raid an abuse of power that is targeting a political
opponent. She made a statement on X today saying, I'm okay. Okay. Glad to hear it. Make no mistake,
this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement for years,
for 10 years, she says. Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns.
This is just the latest escalation.
In his campaign of political intimidation, I should add that her office is saying the
congresswoman has done nothing wrong. Again, I want to just emphasize that this was a judge
that signed off on this. So that's kind of a big deal. And granted, it happened to Trump
with Mar-a-Lago. So, you know, you can say, well, but even MSNBC had to acknowledge this. Forgive
me, MSNOW, whatever their name is. They had to acknowledge this, that it's kind of a big deal,
that this is something that a judge signed.
Off on. So obviously they are looking for something and they had permission to be there
because the judge felt indeed that they might actually have a worthwhile reason to go in and
they may find what they need in the documentation at her D.C. home. Justice Department is confirming
that this search was pursuant to a court order. So that means that the Department of Homeland
Security, which carried out the search, had to present evidence to a judge suggesting that there
was evidence of a crime at this location.
And so the judge came in at Representative Omar's home in Washington, D.C., or at least that there
was probable cause to believe that there was such evidence. And so the agents came in and they
searched the home as we understand it. Now, we've not been able to get any details on what exactly
this criminal investigation is about. Other outlets are reporting that investigators are
examining paperwork pursuant to Omar's citizenship. She acquired citizenship in 2000. And one of the
questions it's been reported that investigators are examining is whether she was 18 years old or
18 at the time that that happened, because the law would be different whether she was a child or
whether she was 18. That seems like it would be an issue easily cleared up. But nonetheless,
you know, these federal agents are combing, were combing through her personal property in a very,
very intrusive search. Yeah, well, you know, they apparently had reason to.
Or so it is alleged, right? And don't forget, no one is above the law.
You guys told us this at Nosham. No one is above the law. Nobody's above the law.
No person is above the law. You're not above the law. You're not an elite.
You're not untouchable. And so it's nice to see that the rule of law has returned.
I just thought that was worth playing credit to our friends over at Maze on X for putting that
one together. Yeah, you know, no one's above the law. So as long as you have nothing to hide, Ilhan,
then there should be nothing to fret. I mean, I do recall you saying that they've been after
you for years and they've never come so close.
Remember?
That this is just a made up lie because you do not investigate someone for 10 years and not come
up with anything. So then why do you think it's still being talked about? Because these people
are disgusting. They believe in weird, creepy things. And that's why they want to believe in
this weird. And that's, that's, that's all I will say. No, no, definitely. Why do you think,
I guess, that you're being targeted then? Because they're racist. They're xenophobic.
I just happen to be Muslim. And I don't think you're allowed to continue from here.
Okay. Oh, okay. Yeah. I mean, they're just disgusting, bigoted people. And that's,
okay. That's all I got to say. All right. Thank you.
Okay. I'm glad that we cleared that up. They're just a bunch of racists and that's why they're
going after Ilhan Omar. Has nothing to do with allegations that she may not have come here on
the up and up, but we're going to get into those allegations on whether or not she came here
on the up and up. There's a rumor going around. I actually have not personally confirmed,
but there are reports on X today that somehow the administration decided to nickname this one
codename World War 11. The last time the Alien Enemies Act was invoked, it was used
to detain and deport German, Japanese, Italian immigrants doing World War 11.
Oh, two. One of the most shameful chapters of American history.
I consider kind of shameful. The fact that you read that as World War 11, I mean, wow. I mean,
like her head is not connected, right? To what is coming out of her mouth, or maybe it is,
and maybe that's part of the problem. You know, it's kind of interesting that this happened,
by the way, on Columbus Day. Happy Columbus Day to everyone. You know, where would we be
without Christopher Columbus? Kind of a big deal. He's kind of, in some ways, sort of the whole
show, right? Having discovered this entire wonderful continent and giving us a place on
the planet. And I think that's kind of a big deal. I think that's kind of a big deal. I think
the map early on. Anyway, it's sort of funny that this is happening, of course, on Columbus Day.
But I digress. The World War 11, that is a great nickname for this investigation. World War 11.
Listen, Mark Wayne Mullen, he told us it was coming. Tom Homan told us it was coming. Harmeet Dhillon over at DOJ, remember, she said, listen, it's coming and I want to get out over, you know, anybody that's actually working on that because it's a different jurisdiction than what she had at DOJ.
But we've heard over and over and over again from the same team, this one is coming. In fact, most recently, just a few weeks back from Benny Johnson on his program when he interviewed Mark Wayne Mullen at the Big Shindig in Texas, listen.
Okay, well, what's going to happen, Mr. Secretary?
By the way, I just want to say before we go to listen to this, listen very carefully to what Mark Wayne Mullen said at the time.
And I pointed this out to you guys because he's not just talking about going after her for allegedly having married.
Her brother, only because I told you the statute of limitations on that one is kind of tough. It's five years.
And so if you don't get someone from five years after the date of the marriage, it gets much more difficult.
But he's talking about something that's much bigger. And I said, this was the clue. This was the clue.
Wait until he tells you how he's looking at the whole family. That's what you need to know here.
Something's going to happen. This is an ongoing investigation. We know that she married her brother.
To try to bring him in the United States, we know he lives now in London, we feel that this may, you know, there's even made more be there may be more to the whole family migration and possibly some illegal activity for them to come to the United States to begin with.
But all of us were investigating. Here's what I want to make sure we do.
If we actually move a case forward, it's not a political case. It's actual case because they did things wrong.
Yes.
If you decided.
To break the law or lie on the information you gave the United States, to be able to come into the United States through either asylum or because you were just wanting to seek a better life, but you didn't tell us who you actually were.
You lied about certain things about your application of those things. There's no exploration to that.
If we can prove it, that then that you shouldn't have been here in the first place will deport you.
And so we're looking at it's more than just her case. We're looking at a lot of cases that are very similar to this.
That.
We feel like there may have been fraud from the get go, but when we move forward, it's not political. It's because you chose to break the nation's laws and I've, I said this multiple times and I continue to say, I don't make the laws anymore.
I'm in charge of enforcing laws and I will not pick and choose which laws I'm going to enforce and which laws I'm not. I'm going to enforce all of them regardless of who you are, regardless if you're Omar or you're some other individual in that community.
I'm going to enforce all of them regardless if you're Omar or you're some other individual in that community.
I'm in charge of enforcing laws and I will not pick and choose which laws I'm not. she had hanging around the house, and maybe have disposed of them earlier. I don't know,
but they found something. Again, when you go back and you look at the pictures of what they are
doing, this is actually them going in. Let me go back to the feed of them carrying some of this
stuff out. Again, this coming into us today, a live, no longer live feed of federal law enforcement.
I should point out her stop funding Israel. She's been very definitive, stop the genocide,
the free Palestine stuff, that's all there. But look at that. I mean, that is a big case.
So they have something in there, and if it's a safe, they have the ability to go in and open
that safe. They're going to look through all of this. I think they got one more,
maybe a couple more. So, you know, a pretty big development, really. And I know a lot of people
are like, well, it's never going to happen. It's never going to happen. Well, something happened.
Something happened today. And I think that this is not good news,
for one, Ms. Omar. We also have a little bit of bad news for the big networks. Yeah,
the monopoly may really be over. I told you this thing was a monopoly, right? I mean,
this is my impression of it. But the DOJ apparently thinks it's some kind of a monopoly,
too. I'm talking about the pool cameras. You know, those handy dandy little pool cameras. Do we have
maybe a list of some of these? I have them somewhere. Anyway, they're in a bit of trouble.
NPR reporting on this one. Not a lot of people reporting on this. I mean, you've got,
ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and Fox News getting looked at really hard as to whether or not they
coordinated their suspension of the White House pool coverage, which might have violated
antitrust law. I have a feeling they did, and I'll tell you why, knowing what I know about how the
pool camera works. Anyway, the president's been going on forever, that these guys are a little
bit shady in his view.
They're fake news, and that's why they have no credibility. That's why. So I had 96% negative
coverage during the election, and I won because they have no credibility. I got 96. I guess NBC
was 93% negative. So 93, with all of the victories I've had, everything's been a victory. It's all
been a victory. And I won the election like nobody's ever seen anything like it. I get no,
they never write.
Good story. They won't write a story about, I just reduced drug prices by 40, 50, 60, 70, 80%. I
will get a good story out of these people. From some of them, I will. I'll get one from him. I'll get a few of them. But it's sick. I mean, there's something wrong with
a country that can allow people to write purposely negative stories. Now, if they want to write them,
that's fine. But I don't have to let them into my, into the people's house. Yeah, please.
Okay, so see, this was his point. Like, I don't have to give everybody a seat at the table.
They don't have some kind of constitutional right to be in the White House so that they have their
little live shot, right, from the White House lawn. And so that's become a whole big issue.
I think he's right. I don't think they really have a right to have a camera in the briefing room. I
mean, you can actually get the feed.
So long as there's not a monopoly on the feed from anyone else, right? The problem is this
monopoly issue, which is exactly what I said at the time. I'm like, you know, it's not really
right that these guys control access to everything that's happening. And I think that that is changing
in real time, given that you have the onset of all these newcomers, right? And other things like
Real America's Voice, that, by the way, is offering the feed for free to anybody. I mean,
that's revolutionary right now, because these guys kind of held control of these big five networks,
and all of a sudden, they're like, oh, we're going to have to do this. And so I think that's
they hold control, but they kind of decided, you know, what they were going to cover when they were
going to cover it, etc. As he's now proving out or his DOJ is with this allegation that they violated
the antitrust law, the Sherman law. Okay, so here you go. Let me just back up for a second, you get
five big networks. This is the pool camera network. And they decided when she was coming, you know,
here from China that they weren't going to cover it. They weren't going to cover it because they
had, because he had shut out CNN. And they all came together and they said, we're going to stick
up for each other. This happens, okay? And there is probably some phone call records of it. And
there are probably some email traces of it. And that's what the DOJ is going to go looking for
right now, because they have just announced an investigation into the five pool cameras. Again,
it got a little bit of ink from NPR, Justice Department Investigates TV Network, citing possible
antitrust violations. CNBC did a little bit on it. The Justice Department is looking at whether ABC,
CBS, CNN, Fox, and NBC violated antitrust law. But for the most part, they're kind of just sort of
ignoring it. And I'm like, this is a big story. Like, this is a really, really, really big story,
guys, because this could actually totally break apart their traditional business model. Don't
check. They were coming together and they were exercising their, I'm going to say it,
monopoly power. Here we go. Great. Well, we are all waiting to hear whether or not CNN is going to
be given granted access back into the pool, which they have been a part of. And if they are not,
then our understanding is that those five outlets are going to maintain that solidarity and moving
in unison and saying that they will not then cover.
The president in the pool. And so obviously we cannot stress enough how important that access is
and how difficult it is and how time consuming and the resources that it takes for all of those
outlets, Fox, ABC, CBS, CNN to do that. And again, that is how maybe the public doesn't always
realize how they get so much of the audio, the visuals, the video of the president that they watch
on a near daily basis, because this president likes to be in front of the TV, likes to take as
many, uh, likes to take questions from the press. Although we've seen in this second term, uh, a very
big difference compared to the first term I covered the first Trump administration. And now one of the
biggest differences with what he is doing to the press. Yes, he's always attacked the press. He has
called us the enemy of the people since he came onto the political stage in 2015, but he is now
taking direct action and using the full power of the government to, uh, restrict press access.
And he started that almost immediately when he came into the white house with the restrictions
on the associated press, uh, restrict attempting to restrict them from the oval office and from
the pool and from other specific events inside the white house. We've seen this administration do that
with the Pentagon press core and be told by judges that they have to restore that access. Uh, but they
have to do it on an escorted basis through the Pentagon. And so this is an administration,
this is a president in his second term who is attempting to use the levers of the government
in a way that he didn't even try to in his first term or if so, okay.
It doesn't change the fact that these five networks have a hold on everything. They get to
decide what the public sees. And he's sitting here going, well, you know, maybe I don't like one of
these networks.
So I'm going to kick them out and replace them with someone else. And they're like, no, no, no,
no, no. So on the one hand, right, you don't want the administration being able to totally pick and
choose everything. But on the other hand, it's like, wait a second, if he's going to sit there
and do an interview with someone, doesn't he have the right to choose who he's going to do the
interview with? Yes, he does. And then on the next hand, we get a lot of hands here. Okay.
Here's a very important reality. You can't be in a situation where the press then has some kind of
We're not doing it. We're not covering it because we all talk to each other and we don't like you.
We don't like what you're about. So we're going to pull a monopoly action and we're just not going to
let the public see it. I mean, the one sort of saving grace for the public was Real America's
Voice came to the rescue and they came out and they broadcast a lot of this, which of course,
they were all these, these media members were so darn snooty about, oh my gosh, Real America's
Voice. Like they don't have the ability to do this. Right. You remember this one?
It's White House.
White House has actually allowed some very friendly media outlets inside of the door. And
those are the ones they like. The Pentagon press pool, in fact, is Phil Lindell TV have started by
my pillow CEO, Mike Lindell, the gateway pundit human events today in New York City, Real America's
Voice, a small pro-Trump network was listed as the secondary crew for this important trip to the U.N.
Okay. He's surrounded by people that'll literally repeat every single lie that he says.
There's just no replacement for the
TV pool system right now, just because of how large the cost is.
Yeah. Oh, those right wing networks. Well, Real America's Voice actually came out and they said,
hey, you know what? We're going to offer feed access and we're going to offer it for free
and everybody can get it and we're going to tape all this. And that was a big deal. Right. So
I mean, what happens to the monopoly? I mean, the monopoly now is facing a full on DOJ investigation
like, yeah, you guys are a monopoly.
and you're acting like a monopoly because you're colluding together like a monopoly would. Here we
go with the Sherman Act, okay? You know, you can take the business out of the girl, but not the
business reporter, whatever the expression is, right? You know, I love this stuff. So the Sherman
Act goes all the way back to 1890, okay? And it basically protects against monopoly. It was named
for a senator from Ohio who was the younger brother, actually, of the Civil War general,
William Sherman. But anyway, it got sponsored into legislation in 1890. And the whole idea here is
that you cannot have these monopolies. And we have a federal antitrust law that was put into place to
prevent companies colluding and working with each other as the big networks did. Like, I don't know
how else to describe it. I said it at the time. This is a monopoly. I mean, the advantage,
that we had, again, is that others were able to jump in and do this, but they were certainly
seeking to collude with each other. So there's going to be a case here, guys. Again, just to
go through this, basically, they are, one, it prohibits agreements among competitors that
unreasonably restrain trade, including price fixing, market rigging, and certain coordinated
boycotts. And two, monopolization or attempts to monopolize a market through an anti-competitive
conduct.
Right? Nobody else can be part of the pool. You're, like, in or you're out. I mean, don't forget,
again, all of this unfolding just a couple of weeks ago. And it's going to have some major,
major, I think, repercussions. Because you know what? You can't do it. You just can't do it.
So again, they're all like, oh, you know, nobody can cover this but us. We are just so important.
And we have the best audio guys and the best camera guys. And I'm like, yeah, whatever.
You know what? You five networks, you had your day. You had your day. And your
day has come. And there are others that can replace you very easily. I mean, it's just,
you've effectively become a commodity, right? News is a commodity at this point. So you tune
into who you like. All the more reason for you to tune in here. Thank you, if you are,
if you're just catching us for the first time. It's great to have you here. Please make sure
that you subscribe. But basically, you know, the investigators are seeking information about
whether or not there are communications that these pool cameras, that these,
pool networks decided to work around the White House. And having worked at many networks
that had pool coverage, my hunch is, yeah, probably. I mean, unless they were all on the
up and up and they realized like this might get them into trouble and they just made a bunch of
phone calls, but you're even going to have records of that. So the Sherman Act is basically to guard
against any kind of group boycott. And what did they do? They issued a group boycott, right? They
took their ball. They issued a group boycott. And they issued a group boycott. And they issued a
and they went home and they said, we're not going to provide the American public for with any
coverage of what's going on with President Xi as he comes to the White House. And it would actually put the public at risk, right? Because they just went dark. Now,
again, I just want to reiterate that a real America was out there and they did some real America's
voice, but they didn't have the full pool capability because it was done on just a moment's notice. So
it was a risk that the consumer there was hurt. The consumer's rights were violated. And it was
because in my estimation, they were colluding together. You know, the DOJ is going to face
certain obstacles. Let me be really clear, because they're going to say basically that the networks
or the networks will argue that in their defense, that they were just defending
their press access, that this was a journalist protest and therefore not an actual monopoly
move. But I think it shows you the potential of what they could do.
And how a monopoly move could work, right? With a cartel? Because the media feels like a cartel.
I mean, I just say that the most significant development here is that the network's collective
control over shared presidential footage is now facing antitrust scrutiny. And this
is a decision that's going to have very big implications for the press, for the media,
for the White House for years to come. I mean, this is a big deal, guys. A very,
very big deal. Things are changing, and they're changing really, really, really fast.
I mean, I gotta just tell you, when I look at what's going on with the media right now,
and I just have to say, ABC is not doing itself any favors at all. New story on ABC to tell you
about today. ABC is in hot water, really, really hot water, because this story comes just as the
network is facing this big inquisition, if you would. They're in court because they are going
through a relicensing process right now. They have eight affiliates, and they tried to get this
thing thrown out, but no, the FCC is like, hey, we don't know if we should actually give you
the affiliate airwaves, because we don't think that you're really upholding good standards,
et cetera, or really looking out for the people. And this new story that just hit today, I'll tell
you, this is going to actually really, I think, negatively affect them. It's basically their
reporting. So it turns out that they're not doing themselves any favors. They're not doing themselves
any favors. It turns out they published a story the other day about the Trump boys and some of
their investments. You see it right there on the lower left side, ABC News. President Trump's son's
investments have won billions in Pentagon contracts since his election. Oh, sounds fine,
right? Well, not fine. So ABC publishes this, and then they remove it, and then they republish,
again, a substantially, totally different revised version that admitted,
and they're factual errors, okay? So let's go back to Wednesday of last week. You had ABC publishing
the original report that you see on the bottom left. Trump's son's investments have won billions
in Pentagon contracts since his election. And then on Thursday, October 8th, you got
the article totally wiped from the website. It didn't exist. You got like a 404 error.
If you tried to get to see it, take a look there. 404 error page. So the article disappeared
initially without a public correction or any kind of explanation whatsoever,
and then people are like, what's going on? What's going on? And so on Friday, ABC published a revised
story with a different headline and an editor's correction acknowledging the errors involving
investments, including government contracts and the order of events. And this is a big deal,
okay? This is the same network, by the way, that just had to pay 16 mil, right? Because of
Georgie Poo's little screw up there, remember? I mean, they just can't get out of their own way.
And they've got Jimmy Kimmel, and they've got The View. I mean, it's one thing after another. So
they thought they were super smart. The problem is you should never have these mainstream news
reporters reporting on anything to do with business. I kid you not. I say this as somebody
who started at Goldman Sachs, who worked at Bloomberg twice, who worked at CNBC, who worked
at Fox Business, who now runs 76 Research, a financial research company. I am just telling you
that the average reporter in these newsrooms, they don't understand money, like anything about money,
at all, about money. And so it becomes very, very hard whenever there's a business story. But what
they do understand is pure, raw politics. And so I'm sure that the authors of this had a political
vendetta, and they were out to get him, and getting him meant getting themselves. So just to
explain what they said, it's almost kind of funny, except it's not. So they're linked,
the boys are linked to something called 1789 Capital. I think, actually,
we had the founder on the show one time, a guy who's got a very impressive background in investment
banking, I think worked at Bank of America. Anyway, he has a fund that he put together that
he invests in, and Donald Trump Jr. is a partner at the fund. And so this report,
this report actually said that he put two and a half billion into an investment in Anduril.
Two and a half billion is a lot of money. Okay, like that is a lot of money. It's like when I
look at Ilhan, he's like, I'm going to put two and a half billion into an investment in Anduril.
Ilhan Omar's hubby, and he's like, and we've done $68 billion worth of deals. And I'm like,
are you kidding me, buddy? You're not even registered with the SEC. You don't even have
a website. You don't even have an office. You didn't do $68 billion worth of deals.
Like, unbelievable. Two and a half billion is a big amount to be investing in one company. Okay,
let me just say that. So that's where like, a normal business reporter would actually have
their little antenna go up and say, Oh, yeah, it doesn't make a ton of sense. Well, ABC's corrected
account says 1789 Capital invested 50 million.
As part of a round. Okay, around that in total was two and a half billion. All right, well,
that makes a little bit more sense. Right? I mean, it's like differing by a factor of 50. But hey,
you know, that makes a little bit more sense. Like nobody in the ABC News newsroom
had like the common sense to say two and a half billion dollars coming from 1789 Capital. Like
that would be a lot of money. Okay, probably not happening at all. Like,
ever. But there's just no intelligence among my reporting peers. Unfortunately, again, I,
you know, I wouldn't say every reporters like this, I think you're going to get a better crop
over at a place like CNBC. But you know, this is ABC. So ABC revised its report. And it says,
according to 1789, Don Jr. does not sit on the three person committee making investment decisions.
Okay, so that's interesting. Well, this just keeps getting better and
better. So they didn't invest two and a half billion, they invested 50 million.
and he has nothing to do with what they invest in okay uh andrew the company that was receiving
the contracts and allegedly all this money which it was not true they weren't getting this much
money from 1789 they are um you know they've received government contracts i should say under
both administrations right so it's kind of something else but that was not really in there
too i don't think that they bothered to put that in there um and i would also add that one of the
investments was started before that that 1789 made was started before don jr was ever part of
the company before he ever became a principal in the company so basically abc screwed up and now
their decision to remove
the story is being questioned as well right so it's so much so that like brian stelter over at
cnn is worried about his own job these days he's trying to he's trying to mitigate here so this
this uh k-file reports that this is absolutely wild per status status is like some media
newsletter abc news completely retracted this story like two days ago just totally nuked it
no note no explanation no comment it has been shared by tons of top lawmakers and
democrat officials and then brian who's the uh media guru over at cnn says i'm told the article
was published prematurely more to come because that is obviously not a sufficient explanation
no it's not like somebody was out to destroy trump so now look who's getting involved
bernie moreno out of ohio he just sent a note over to the fcc chair and he's like i think we
need some answers right
i mean there's apparently some emails obtained by semaphore showing that after andrew will
complain the reporter consulted his editors and twice defended the disputed wording i don't know
how he defends like 50 million versus two and a half billion but you know hey nobody said math
was his thing so abc subsequently described the article as having been published prematurely and
that also raises this whole other question what the heck are you doing publishing articles like
that prematurely i mean why
you don't have anybody in the newsroom that can look at it have a set of eyes i'm sorry but guys
there's not a whole lot for us to trust you on at this point because don't forget you are the same
team that made mistakes to the tune of 16 million dollars that georgie poo you know and you guys had
to pay up for right yeah i mean this is really bad and so it's especially bad that it's happening at
the time that the fcc
is reviewing its license so bernie writes i am writing to demand an immediate investigation
into abc news for the publication of a false inflammatory and deliberately malicious report
targeting the trump family and a major employer that has invested nearly one billion dollars in
high-paying jobs in the state of ohio and then he goes on to describe all of this and yeah i think
there's an investigating investigation coming into this one in fact eric trump retweeted this
letter from bernie today he goes on to say abc news operates under broadcast license
is issued by the fcc those licenses are a privilege not a right they require the service of public
interest publishing baseless liberal hit pieces to influence an election harm american companies
and smear the president's family does not serve the public interest he is right he is right and
so now as this investigation into abc's licenses has come it's like there's some kind of death wish
for goodness sakes over at abc and it's like there's some kind of death wish for goodness sakes
over at abc and it's like there's some kind of death wish for goodness sakes over at abc and it's
disney i'm telling you i mean the the light bulbs are just not on upstairs because why
would you allow for a shoddy article that hasn't been properly vetted to hit right before an
election cycle oh well you idiots are getting your license reviewed i mean you are not smart
if i'm the ceo of disney which owns abc i'm like abc news is done fire the president today
because these people are freaking clueless here's the fcc chair brendan carter
on his uh on a podcast with katie miller a few months ago before he actually had launched this
investigation into abc and its affiliates licenses but he was basically saying yeah public trust
matters listen but up to now there's evidence that disney has been pretty bad and there's
evidence suggests that disney you know literally was you know dividing and categorizing employees
based on race and gender and potentially we'll see what the evidence establishes ultimately
giving different opportunities to people based on their race
or gender or other protected class and we're going to get some more discovery
from disney on that but that could raise character questions about the company long term okay so
one they were already in trouble for dei and now two they're being looked at because they are no
longer seen as fulfilling their public duty something that they need to vis-a-vis the 1934
communications act so abc i wish you well but i'm telling you guys like you are you are too
cool for school and because you're too cool for school and you think that you don't need to follow
the rules you're gonna find yourself in a very very bad spot i saw one of you guys saying yeah
you know what disney should just be in the in the business of rides and i think you're right like
part of their complication by the way the rides guy is in charge now josh something he tomorrow
is his name anyway josh tomorrow's coming in and he's trying to write the ship and this is the guy
that comes from theme parks and cruises all right so he's like look at this guy he's like look at this
entertainment portfolio going whoa we got a bunch of cuckoos over here and these these news
reporters that are really just you know servicing the democrat party and putting out smut like this
and not checking their numbers i mean 50 million 2.5 billion 50 million 2.5 billion i mean that
blows me away okay so you cannot run news division like that and if i'm disney i gotta be looking at
the view is is costing me too much money
both in terms of its you know the ratings i mean maybe it does okay does it even matter because
who the heck wants to advertise on that show and then you got to deal with the personalities and
the headache and the i mean it's a total waste of energy and time right so you get that and then
jimmy kimmel is going to be done we already know that they really don't want to have him sticking
around for for too much longer david flanagan writing democrats hate big corporations monopolies
it looks like you know they they have you know bernie sands
they want to have bernie sanders in the ring again um you know i i don't know but there is
certainly a bias against capitalism a bias against big corporations and big media frankly you know
has just jumped the shark totally jumped the shark zelensky's jumped the shark too the president
thinks zelensky the president thinks zelensky's jumped the shark the president is like yeah
i think i think ukraine needs to move on here he is over the weekend
well i look at it differently zelensky could have settled this war many times
many many times and he chose he chooses not to very difficult it's a war that should have never
been started if i were president if the election weren't rigged i would have been president
and that war would have never started but he could have settled it
it many times and he chose not to we said you can do whatever you want to russia don't
hit the refineries because that's a world problem that's caused and he wants to make
problems for the world he wants to make problems for our farmers our ranchers with diesel fuel
because russia supplies a large portion of the diesel fuel throughout the world and we
told them do whatever you want but don't hit the diesel fuel because there's a big problem
big shortage and what does he do he goes and hits the diesel fuel he goes he hits the diesel
fuel he can do whatever he wants but he can't do that because we have a world problem and the
problem is caused by the lack of refineries for diesel fuel so what does he do he goes and hits
refineries and i said to him do what you want don't hit refineries there's plenty of targets
don't hit refineries and he went out and he hit and he's not going to affect our farmers and he's
not going to affect our ranchers and he's not going to affect the rest of the world so we he'd
damn well stop whoa whoa whoa okay so the president was pretty ticked off with zelinski
over the weekend so don't forget diesel prices you probably can't forget any of you who need diesel
for your trucks it's sky high okay and it's massively high not just because of the strait
of her moves but because russia had been sanctioned and so the president came along and said you know
we're going to get rid of the russia sanctions because this is kind of an emergency and we need
that diesel and so he said you know what we're going to get rid of the russia sanctions because
he said hey let's get russian diesel back on to the world market and we will allow we will be
allowed to buy it and they didn't count by the way i should point out for somewhere around i think 11
percent of the overall global supply so they're kind of a big deal and zelinski little zelinski
decides to get out there and start bombing the diesel refineries over in russia which means now
to the world market and he's like, ah, and Tom's like,
are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? No, that's not going to fly. And that's why he said,
I kept telling him and tell him, do what you want to do, but don't touch those refineries. Okay.
And what did he do? He touched those refineries. So now he's not promising he won't stop.
Now he's out on the airwaves. He went to interestingly ABC news first. I'll show you
that clip from the weekend, but the president's like, knock it off. And so he was asked on Fox
today, can you knock it off? And he starts pivoting around, giving them some whole other
song and dance about how this isn't really what matters, that it's straight to her moves. I beg
to differ, buddy boy. Very much. First of all, everybody understand, everybody understands
that the prices on diesel, it doesn't depend on our attacks on diesel in Russia. Everybody
understand that it depends on the blocking or moves straight over of our moves. So this
is a very important point. And I think that's a very important point. And I think that's a very
understandable. Now, so, you know, this is again, why it's good to have business reporters.
I don't actually, in fairness to the anchor, I don't know if he went back at him on this, but
look, here's the bottom line. When you bomb the refineries in Russia, Zelensky, yes,
it's going to have an impact because as I was stating, it's like 11% of the global supply.
And when I look at the numbers, I think the latest is that, you know, they're pumping out
214,000 barrels a day. That's down 70% from this time last year. Okay. What happens? Supply and
demand. Here we go. When you have restricted supply and a lot of demand, the price goes way
up. And Zelensky knows this. So he's doing this deliberately, like in our face, despite us. Does
he not want Donald Trump to win? Is that what this is about? Is he cozying up to the Democrats
and ABC? I mean, again, ABC, interestingly, it was the very first network he went on. He didn't
care about the president hearing his message. He cared about the Democrats hearing his message.
Kipler, which tracks all this energy stuff, they're linking the decline to the Ukrainian
refinery attack. So don't sit there, Z, and tell me that this had no effect. You know darn well,
because you are very clever, right? You're a very clever little guy. And now if I look at the front
page of the New York Times, they're saying, oh, the Europeans were so upset. They were stunned
because Donald Trump decided to take sanctions
off of Russia. Why? Because Donald Trump is no fool. He's like, we need diesel. The people need
it. The farmers need it. Russia has it. So right now, we're going to open up Russian diesel to the
rest of the U.S. of A and the rest of the world. And so everybody's freaking out. They don't like
this because they want anything that can hurt Trump. That's good for the Democrats. But
they've never been fully on board with the whole Ukraine thing. You know, he wanted a diplomatic
solution. They couldn't get to a diplomatic solution. And you got a guy who's hanging on
for dear life. So when Donald Trump says, yeah, you know, maybe it's kind of run its course and
they ought to hold some elections, he comes back with what on ABC News? Here we go.
Not to have a war, to stop Putin. But the first step is ceasefire, energy ceasefire. Okay. If
they want energy ceasefire, we are open for this. Don't attack us. Don't attack us. Don't attack
us. Don't kill our children. We will stop attack your diesel. And I think it's fair, fair deal.
President Trump said that that we need Ukraine needs new president. So first of all, with all
respect to President Trump, it's up to our society, up to our people to choose one or another
leader. Yes, we are in war. And now to do elections is really difficult, not only
that it goes absolutely not secured and it goes out of our law, out of our constitution. But
the main thing is to have security infrastructure for this, to give possibility people to vote.
Of course, it's up to Ukrainians when to vote, how to do it and to choose one or another person.
But if to answer on this question, I know that Putin wanted very much
to change the president in Ukraine. I understand it. And if President Trump really wants to have
some changes in during elections, I also shared it with his team. So please tell Putin, give us
two months, 60 days of total ceasefire, 60 days, and we will organize elections. Of course,
we will be ready for any choice of our people. Exactly.
So just know that because it's martial law that he's got on there, they keep him in power. And so
sometimes I always like look at these things, a little bit of trepidation, because I'm like,
wait a second. I don't know if he can get elected, right? If they actually had a full,
fair election there in Ukraine. And so maybe he's like perversely incentivized to keep this war
going. I mean, look at how many defense secretaries they had to usher out, right? Because they were
stealing. The grift was like out of control. I wouldn't be surprised if our CIA has a little
information on this.
Buddy boy over here, right? The former actor turned president. I would not be surprised
if they had some information that might actually force him sooner rather than later. I'm just
saying I have no intel on this, okay? But the fact that you had so many defense secretaries
that were on the take, that tells me like there's something fishy going on. Let's go
back to the Fox interview because the reporter gives him a chance and listen to what he says.
Here. Will Ukraine refrain again, as I asked a moment
ago, from hitting the refinery system in Russia?
If Russia will not attack our energy, we will not attack their energy.
Okay. And overnight, apparently they hit the car key. So, so right now they are not refraining
from. So I take your answer to be a no or even a maybe based on what the president said.
Yeah. You know, I'm reading what some of you guys are saying, and I think it was
peace of my mind saying the CIA put them in. And I can't dispute that. You know, my reporting
goes back to, remember, am I saying his name wrong? Klitschka? He was the guy who was the
mayor. I think maybe still is the mayor of Kiev. We wanted him, apparently. He was our
first pick, the U.S. and the U.K. And we tried to get him to run for the presidency of Ukraine.
And somehow that, that all. That all fell apart. And it was in part because, according to the story told to me by somebody who
was working on his team for the Brits and was traveling with him, they went to Vienna. I
actually looked this up over the weekend because I'm like, this is really interesting info. Has it
been reported at all? And there were some like vague innuendo about it in a Bloomberg story.
But anyway, the story is, as I was told by a source who was actually there outside the hotel
room in Vienna, when they decided not to have the guy who's now the Kiev mayor,
run, he was actually pressured by the Russians, some kind of oligarch who was controlling a lot
of the energy supply there in Ukraine. And that oligarch said, hey, no, you're going to run for
mayor of Kiev. And I, they, it was either Poroshenko or perhaps it was Zelensky that
wound up getting the gig. In other words, my point is being that there's a lot of puppet control
that's going on behind the scenes, both with us and with Russia. Okay. Like I'm not telling you
anything that you don't know because we're all big boys and girls here. And this is just kind
of how the world works, right?
And so there was an effort to get Klitschko, again, forgive me for mutilating the name. I have
a bad habit of that. You should try me with some of the Middle Eastern names. I really, really mess
up. But anyway, he, you know, the Ukrainian guy, like we thought that he was going to go in. He
apparently was a favorite of Victoria Nuland, this, that, and the other. And the Russians
had another idea. And for whatever reason, as my source tells me the story, they were in the hotel
in Vienna. And he always went into meetings with this guy. And for whatever reason, this guy would
not let him into this particular meeting. And he said, the guy came out and his face was white as a
ghost. And he said, forget it. I'm not running for president. I'm running for mayor. And that was
that. So yeah, we have some say. And apparently Putin has some say too. And right now our say is,
hey, we want the diesel. Okay. We want the diesel and we want it fast. And Zelensky is figuring
out that, yeah, you know, maybe, maybe I don't need to give him the diesel. Maybe Donald Trump
can suffer it out. Maybe the American people can suffer it out. And maybe we'll get rid of Donald
Trump sooner rather than later, because I made them suffer it out. I mean, think of how twisted
and messed up all of this is. Speaking of how he hopes that maybe Donald Trump won't see a big win
at midterms, I want to get to some of these. Woo, that's a tight shot, huh?
Woo. Okay. A little better. I want to get to some of these polls. Republicans have a massive
advantage, right? Let's start on the good news here, because we are looking at a $222 million
cash advantage when it comes to midterms. It's really phenomenal. And I guess we have Elon Musk
to thank for the majority of that. Do I have, yeah, Elon's deep pockets. New York Times is all
over this. They don't like it. He's poured $276 million into midterms. He's poured $276 million
$6 million into electing Republicans in the midterms, apparently,
July. Anyway, quite a number. Take a look at that. Enjoy it. Okay. On the screen, 614 million
compared to 392. So that is a giant gap. It's almost like we're looking at Letitia James and
Kathy Hochul, right? Some serious geography. So we've got a lot more money and we haven't spent
it all. So we're going to start spending more and more of it because we want to get our peeps
elected. But some of the data thus far is looking a little concerning, right? A little bit concerning.
It's why Donald Trump is saying, hey, you better get yourself out there to vote. Here he is over
the weekend. We don't win the midterms. They're going to blame me. You know that. If we do win
them, I will get no credit whatsoever. It's true. I won't get any, but I'm working my ass off. You
better get out there and vote. So you better get out there, right? His point is it could be bad.
You've got
Stephen Miller over the weekend on Laura Trump's show saying one of the problems with the media
and the polls is that they are actually desperately trying to suppress
voter turnout. They want people to be depressed about things. Listen to him. He makes a good point.
The purpose of publishing these suppression polls is designed to demoralize people,
to convince people that it's not worth continuing the fight to save and rescue their country.
The reason why America has lower energy prices than everyone else in the developed world
is because of President Trump. The reason why we have record job creation is because of President
Trump. Democrats fought bloody murder to stop all of this. Every single step President Trump took
to secure the border, they ran to court and sued to try to order us to keep the border open.
Every single thing that President Trump did to bring our energy supply chains back to America,
they fought us in court and sued us. Every single thing he did,
not violent crime. Sanctuary Democrat mayors and sanctuary Democrat politicians
fought us relentlessly. They voted against tax cuts for every single American family. They voted
against the child tax credit. They voted against the Trump accounts. They voted against no tax on
tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on Social Security. They have not been our partners
in a single one of the victories that President Trump has delivered for America.
Yeah, it's for sure. I mean, they literally, like any of the ideas that even
at one point, you know, not too long ago might have been their ideas. Just go,
listen to Barack Obama talk about the border, for goodness sakes. I mean, there are a lot of ideas
out there from 10 years ago, 20 years ago that actually originated in the Democrat Party. And yet
because it's Donald Trump who comes forward with it, they don't want any part of it. And they just
fight him at every single turn. But we do have some good things going for us. In addition to
the funding, as I just showed you, there's also evidence of a lot of registration happening in
some key swing states. I want to go to CNN's Harry Enten. He's really good. He's really good.
He's like he and Jennings are like the only two you want to watch, at least that I want to watch.
Anyway, here he is talking about some of the swing state data being revealed. And I consider this very
promising watch. Look at in presidential elections that look, the Republicans are gaining versus
where they were eight years ago during Trump's first midterm election. Take a look here. GOP
gains and party registration margin versus Election Day 2018. In Arizona, the Republican
margin versus a Democrat. Republicans are up four points. How about Nevada? Republicans up
five points. How about North Carolina? Republicans up eight points. How about the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania? Republicans up seven points. So when you take a look at how people are actually
registering, this is not polling data compared to where we were eight years ago. Republicans are
doing considerably better. And what are the swing states, at least normally in presidential
elections? OK, so someone could look at this. So that's good. It's in part because we get all
this money, right? So we've actually been working on the ground game, getting people out,
registering them to vote. So now they just have to show up. I will tell you that the left is
starting to get worried. In fact, I saw this report in Reuters this morning. They were saying
that the polls have missed. What did I tell you? We talked about this last week, the Republican
strength, because for some reason they can't seem to find any Republicans like ever. And so they
historically have been wrong and they're continuing to be wrong. Opinion polls have
frequently underestimated per Reuters Republican support in recent election cycles. Reuters Ipsos
registered voters favoring Democrats over Republicans by 43 percent to 35 percent on the
congressional ballot. The largest polling misses came when Trump was on the ballot. OK, so that's
the tricky part. And that's why he's saying you better get your tush out there to vote. I'm not on
the ballot, but they're going to blame me. And I'm working my tail off trying to make sure that you
all know effectively I am on the ballot. This is really, really important. I mean, meanwhile,
the left is doing what they can to get this guy.
Oh, I know you don't want to see him. I'll just show a couple of seconds. But they're
trotting him out to help down in Texas with the, you know, the guy that was missing for nearly two
weeks, Telerico. Oh, boy. Obama to the rescue. I think not. But here we go. I'll be honest with you.
I never imagined some of the stuff that's been going on in our country lately. But I am energized
by the millions of Americans who are taking a stand and demanding change, even when it's hard.
That's what hope is all about.
It's never blind optimism. It's grounded in a clear eyed recognition that tough things happen. And the world is deeply imperfect. But we have agency. We make choices about what we stand for and what we believe in. So I'm asking you today to use that hope to make a difference. Get involved and help Democrats win one of the most consequential elections in our country's history. Because the most powerful office in this country has a voice.
And right now, every one of us can help turn hope into action.
And right now, every one of us can help Democrats win one of the most consequential elections in our country's history. Again, I expect these spreads to narrow in the coming days.
days. So we'll keep checking them, guys. But I would just say, you can't go missing from the
campaign trail for nearly two weeks. That just can't happen. And you know what tends to occur
in a moment like that? The rumor mill gets going and going and going and going and going. And it
is just taking off, right? Like a lightning rod. They are just talking and talking and talking and
talking. And so there's all these viral things right now. There's something from this center
that's a mental health clinic out in Ohio. They're actually disputing this. And they're saying this
is not real and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But I'll tell you, this thing caught wind online.
And I'm going to play it for you. I'm going to make sure I alert you to this center actually
saying, no, this never happened. And Tallarico's campaign saying, no, this never happened. But
I think it's an important example of how when there's a lack of information out there,
that information just starts. It starts materializing out of nowhere. And it can often happen as we get very close in the
campaign cycle. Remember, actually, Donald Trump did this one. Did he say that Ted Cruz's dad killed
Kennedy? Or what about. Meghan McCain once told me that she will never forgive Karl Rove because
he made up some horrible rumors about her dad and where her sister came from. And she just was never
going to get over that because she thought he was really trying to bait anybody who had
who might have had sort of a, you know, a willingness to believe that stuff right down
in South Carolina. So this stuff happens, which is why if you're Jimmy Tallarico, you don't go
missing for two weeks. And if you are going to be missing, I don't know, maybe you put out a
statement or you communicate a little bit better because people were really starting to wonder.
And then this thing surfaced on X. It's allegedly a conversation between the, quote, reporter that's
looking into this, the investigator, and somebody on the switchboard line at a mental health facility.
Watch.
Okay, so nothing for James Tallarico?
Yes, it looks, well, this is what it's today. It looks like just this, he was just discharged this
evening. That's why I don't have it.
Oh, he was?
Discharged then?
Mm-hmm.
Okay. And this is the Hope. So he should be.
Okay.
I'm sorry.
This is, let me make sure I have it right. This is Hope Linder?
Yes, uh-huh.
Okay. And you're in Hamilton, Ohio?
No, we're not in Hamilton.
Oh.
We're in Mason.
Okay. So that's why he's not a citizen. He's a recent. Okay. All right.
Okay.
Thank you.
Thank you. Bye-bye.
Wow. I mean, kind of. Sounds legit, right? I'm just saying. So to be very clear, the center said that's fake and
Tallarico said that's fake. But if nothing else, it illustrates my point. You cannot go missing
for almost two weeks and not expect that the information void, that lack of transparency
is not going to be filled with something. All right? Because people are like, why, why, why?
The normal flu is a couple of days.
You were gone for 13? Like that, that's just not making any sense. And I would expect
people have their doubts now about him. Let me just also say something. I mean,
this is Texas after all. Okay? If you've ever been to Texas, you know, there's a certain
swagger, right? That goes with Texas. And I love it. I appreciate it. And it's,
it's a very unique and very special place. I am really kind of shocked at the idea,
the Texas, which is an oil producing Haven, right? Is suddenly going to get their nose so
out of joint that they're going to go and elect Jimmy Tallarico. It looks like he's 12. Sorry.
They're going to go elect Jimmy Tallarico. Doesn't have much experience. And, but by the way,
can name his favorite drag queen, like, you know, mucho pronto. I mean, it's interesting talent,
right? Interesting talent. I mean, I, I think I could only name one that would be Rupaul,
but not only can he name his favorite, he can name his favorite drag queen in Texas. So Jimmy
doesn't seem to me to be the kind of guy that most Texans would feel all warm and fuzzy about,
right? Like he just doesn't really fit the bill. And I also think in an energy savvy location like
Texas, they get what oil markets are.
They get how this stuff goes up and down. They understand what's going on in Iran. And
they're not completely blaming the president. By the way, if you look at the numbers,
technically speaking, inflation is actually much more moderated, significantly more moderated
than anything we saw under Biden. Okay. I know it's tough because he took us up. I mean,
we were near double digits under Joe Biden. So it was like, wow, you know, you're up nine point
something percent and then you're up six point something percent. They're like, whoa, we're down.
And it's like, no, we're still up 6% on top of the 9%.
So if we come in and we're up, you know, 2.8% now, everybody's like, it hurts. But it's actually
far more reasonable than anything we saw under the previous administration. I'll tell you,
there is a lot at stake right now. A lot economically, culturally, everything. We
talk about this in this week's 76 report. Go get the 76 report. Go to 76research.com. I have three
portfolios there. I would just say, though, remember, remember who we are, right? We are,
we are a capitalist country, the envy of the world for a reason, because why we believe that you come
here, you work hard, and you're going to see success because we reward a meritocracy. The
Jimmy Tallaricos and the El Saeeds and Ilhan Omars of the world, they don't reward meritocracies.
They think that there has to be some kind of pre-ordained outcome. And if you don't get that
perfect little outcome of everybody having exactly the same,
somehow the system is flawed. They are flawed significantly in their thinking. Here's the
president. Merit. Everything's based in merit. If you have great marks now, you get into the best
colleges. You're not going to not get in and somebody else with a C average gets in for
other reasons. I never thought we'd see that. Same thing with the military. We can hire people that
are very tough people. We can hire people that know how to fight, that are strong, physically
strong people. And we have a whole. different ballgame now. So you see those old people said, boy, the soldiers is also so good.
They look like soldiers. But that's what merit is. You know, that's what merit is. And other people
are good at other things. And but we have we want a decision. And remember, our country was built on
merit. Our country wasn't built where you put people all over the place. Our country was built
based on merit.
He gets it.
He gets it. You get it. Let's just hope Texas gets it. And everyone else gets it. On Election Day. Thank you for being here, guys. I really appreciate it. I will see you back here live on the show tomorrow. More on Ilhan Omar coming your way.
