I Was Contacted By Jared Kushner Book Publisher...

SimpliSafe introduces a shift in home security by providing real-time alerts and preventive measures, moving beyond traditional post-break-in notifications. The company markets its systems as proactive, with plans starting at a low cost and a special 70% discount available. The conversation expands into broader societal anxieties, including doomsday theories rooted in Malthusianism and fears of global collapse. These concerns are reflected in actions by wealthy elites, such as building bunkers in remote areas like Argentina or Miami, despite environmental challenges. The discussion critically examines claims made in a book about Jared Kushner, highlighting the lack of verifiable evidence and questionable journalistic practices. Meanwhile, technological commentary emerges, with Sam Altman arguing that personal RAM is inefficient and should be centralized. The analysis also explores the Israeli political landscape, where Netanyahu’s coalition remains fragile amid shifting voter support and dissent from prominent figures. A final segment touches on the controversial "antichrist" lectures by Peter Thiel and other billionaires, which blend esoteric philosophy with political speculation, raising questions about elite influence and societal preparedness. Throughout, the narrative blends technology, politics, and conspiracy theories, reflecting a widespread unease about the future.

If you're not following me on Spotify, please hit that follow button and leave a five-star review. They're both a huge, huge help. Thank you. It's like Evel Knievel. I'll tell you, when I saw the New York Post get in on the sci-oppy part, that gave me a little buzz. They love that, though. Yeah, they put out a post that says, The world ends in two weeks, according to a shocking 1960 study, under horrific circumstances. I ain't even going to read this shit, but it's some fucking, you know, University of Illinois physicist no one's ever heard of. It was forecasted at doomsday on November 13th, 2026, which happens to be a Friday the 13th. And he said it was because, I will give you these details. He said it because the population was going to get so fucking big that everyone would squeeze each other in, which obviously has not happened. So, you know, what is it? Like, a ridiculous percentage of the earth doesn't even have fucking people on it? Like, the dumbest shit of all time. That's, there's a term for that. Doug Rushkoff was talking about. What the fuck is that term again? The people, the economic theory about overpopulation. Can you just type that in and see if we can grab that, Thief? But, like, you know, it's this doomsday theory that got popularized in the 60s and 70s, I want to say, with some of these fucking unelected think tanks that, you know, were like, Yeah, we got to stop fucking because we're making too many people. Is it the myth of infinite growth? Yeah. Obsolete economic, no. Type in, what is the term, the economic theory? That says population will not keep up with production. That's what it was. That's what it was. It's like a one-worder. But, like, the Club of Rome would talk about this from, like, a sustainability standpoint. It's not corn, corn your coat. Malthusianism. Yes, that's it. That's it. Malthusianism. So, yeah, I'm not a, not a huge believer in that. It's a very bleak way to look at stuff. And it also, like, it's a very bleak way to look at stuff. Like, it doesn't make sense. The one thing we do from a population standpoint that, like, we should figure out is we congregate too tightly in limited places. Yeah. Like, a lot of the, a lot of the land is totally open. By the way, that's not to say I'm like, yeah, let's go cut down the rainforest and start living in there. Obviously, like, this comes with huge asterisks. But there are places where perhaps you could set up society that, around the world, you know, in America and in all different places, where maybe we haven't incentivized doing that. And then we incentivize fucking shit up in the wrong places. Like the rainforest, for example, which obviously we've done a lot of work on this podcast over the years talking about the bullshit that happens in there and how important a place like that actually is for literally the oxygen in the atmosphere. It represents around or over 20% of the world's oxygen supply coming from that one area. So, you know, it does matter where that is. But the Malthusian thing is very, very. Bleak. And I've never liked that. But Joey Deef. Joey Deef was, as they say, over the target last week. And we didn't have time to get to this tweet last week. And I'm glad we did not. He put it out, like, the day before we recorded the episode or the day of. And we were going to talk about it. But we didn't get to it. I'm glad we didn't get to it, though, because it's even more on point when it comes to what we just talked about. So, can you read this, Cook? Yeah, absolutely. So, this was a replying to a video of. That's a tough one. That is a tough one. Well, I said people adjacent to Karp will agree with him. However, I find it interesting that in the conversations I've been a part of with Julian and guests that have consulted with billionaires and elites like such on a slew of things, that one remains true across the spectrum. Many of these individuals do, in fact, believe society. is approaching the event, as Heidegger would have called it. The specificity, though, is debated, whether it's climate-related, civil unrest, nuclear war, etc. But the general consensus is that something will happen. So, on one hand, Karp and or others alike look down on Heideggerians. But on the other, friends like Peter Thiel and Jared Kushner are hedging their bets by doing things such as moving to Argentina or building bunkers in remote parts of New Zealand. Very well said. Yeah. That is the thing, like, again, as an optimist, which I am, even with some things where it's like, wow, you know, we're not arresting people that, you know, we're involved with Epstein and stuff like that. Yes, I'm cynical on things like that. But when it comes to humanity and it comes to the world and society, I'm a very optimistic person. What I try not to do, though, is get too biased with that and not pay attention to, as Joe Kent would say, the data points that occur around me, which Joey Deef laid out. He's picking up the same. He's picking up the same things that I am in here, which is that you see so many of these people talking about these things like the event. You see so many of these people, referring to, like, very elite wealthy people, who are a part of these groups that know more, whether we like it or not, they know more about some things in reality than we do because they keep it away from us. You see them all building their bunkers and talking to people like Doug Rushkoff years ago, even, trying to get an idea of what to do and how to plan and that things are coming. And then you put that all in. You put that all in the fucking soup and mix it together in the crock pot and you think about where we are on the mapping of something like the fourth turning, which means we're in that decade of, like, it explodes, whatever, you know, the bad crisis is of this period. But then you wonder, is the crisis what these guys are preparing for, where it's actually like a world-ending event? Or is it just something objectively really, really bad that we're kind of living through right now, maybe in different ways between the pandemic, you know, Western society having economic problems, political turmoil, some wars happening. These are all very, very bad. You know, but that are not world-ending. It's not like, oh, there's 8 billion people. Now there's only 300 million. Like, that's the kind of event that it appears these people are more talking about, which I don't want to believe would be a thing. That's why we're looking at this going, what in the name of fucking psyops is going on here with everyone in tandem talking about the end of the world and preparing for the end of, you know, they're not saying prepare for the end of the world, but they're talking about things like, yeah, we're about to be fucked, fam. It's weird. It's weird. But what's really nice, Joey Deef, is that a world that has a lot less people won't need as much RAM. That's right. That's right. Isn't that right? That's right. I heard Sam Altman lecture us about that. Yeah, Sam. This week. Do we have that? Yeah, we got it. Of course we got it. I also, just before I move on, I was like, you know what? Let me look at old Alex just real quick. Oh, the old Carper. Because obviously, like, the whole Heidegger philosophy was like the event. And he was clowning. He was clowning on him. And Heidegger worked for the Nazis. So he's like, of course you had that philosophy. You're a loser. You guys lost. And it's like, yeah, that's very true. But then why does Mr. Carp need such a crazy bunker? Why does he need these defenses? It's crazy enough. You know? So he moved to his billionaire bunker months before moving headquarters to Miami. Palantir CEO Alex Carp reportedly got his own billionaire bunker in Miami. How do you get a billionaire bunker in Miami? The city's already underwater. It's 9,700 square feet. Where? 46 million. It's the fucking ocean. Well, it does actually have the address, which on Google, like, you know, like. All right, let's not. Yeah, I don't want to get sued by Alex Carp. Yeah, I'm just, it's public information. I'm just saying. Y'all can go Google that. You didn't hear that from me. Exactly. You know. I won't put it on screen forever. Give him the wrong spelling of his name, Joey D. I'll show you. I'm showing you, though. It's, this is where it is. Okay. All right. All right, off screen, can you just hit Google Maps on that? Miami's, like, underwater. What? What, has he got great white sharks swimming around the fucking see-through tank down there? Like, what the fuck is going on? Yeah, let's see, because now I'm really curious. Yeah, I, that's the last place on, yeah, this is like where, I don't want to say, but he's got a bunker there. What the fuck kind of technology they got over at that place? I mean, it's like, it looks like it's just like its own thing, you know? That is, what's he building, fucking Atlantis? That's nuts. Okay. This is it. I mean, the house looks like a fucking bunker, but you're telling me you built something below that? Oh, go up, go up, Joey D. Again, people can't see this. If you want to Google it, you can yourself. Go up to the picture. Yeah. I wonder if there's, like, a, in that part, right there. You know what I mean? The blue part, if you know what I'm talking about. Yeah, that's. I'm trying not to give this away. Yeah, yeah. I wonder if there's, like, a secret little compartment there. Like, you've seen those videos of the guys, like, taking a school bus, digging a hole in the ground, and then, like. Yeah, yeah. But that's not very deep. He, wow. It's interesting. Yeah, y'all can Google it. It's out of my price range. Yeah. You know, unfortunately, just by about seven zeros, but. But, yeah, speaking of RAM, as you were saying. Yeah, speaking of RAM. Less people, less RAM needed. That's right. Bye. and my lord and savior, or our lord and savior against our will, Sam Altman, had some thoughts about this. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman believes people owning RAM, meaning like you and me, is wasteful, and that it belongs in data centers instead. From a global allocation perspective, actually, it's quite terrible to have everyone have a bunch of the world's limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer. Because why should you have it at home, you little pleb? We'll give you a little, you know what? You don't even need bread and circus. Take the scraps off the ground. He's like, you guys can have 128 megabytes of RAM so that you have enough to use Grubhub and, you know, you can order food and things, but you don't need anything else. You don't need nothing. You don't need performance in your machine. You don't need a goddamn thing, as they say. But yeah, you know, let's just, let's just sleep till Wednesday. And I feel like if we're all sleeping, we're going to sleep till Wednesday. And if we're all still here, we're going to be all right. Yeah, I think we'll be good. We got a movie to make, Joey Deef. I know. I was like, how great would it be if like, you know, 18 days into a great production, we just got a blackout and you don't have to do it. You don't have to finish it. Now, obviously, Joey Deef, it's just you and me in here. No one's listening. But, you know, what did the Freemasons say about all this? You going to tell me that now? They're just like, they're like, don't, like, this is just for, we got to just get people riled up. We're about to shift like over 10 trillion of global wealth. That's it? Yeah. We got 40 trillion in debt. That's not a big. Yeah. But then when it's all, when it's all owned by one man. Oh, the Freemasons are working for Teal directly. Um, almost. They're working for Epstein 2.0, if you know who I mean. Oh, the Kush. The Kushmeister. The Kush. Like smoke that bitch down like some Kush. Like some Kush. You know what? You didn't plan that, but that was really good. Let's hit that transition right there. Hit it, dude. Let's hit that transition. I was going to hit the big Yahoo, but we'll come to the big Yahoo in a minute. We'll get to that. That's not going anywhere. The Kushner thing. I laid this out at the front. So let me give you all the deets. One of, if not the most common DMs I get on Instagram are many of you asking me what my favorite books are. So I do want to say the person at Simon & Schuster who's pretty high up over there who hit me up. Awesome dude. Had a very candid conversation with him. Nice guy. And I appreciate, you know, the back and forth and the honesty. But in light of the fact that we're covering the story, I want to tell you without revealing exactly who that person was, what was said here. So they saw my episode discussing Matthew Cole's forthcoming book on Jared Kushner that now came out on Monday, but last week obviously hadn't come out yet. And they wanted to kick the tires on getting Matthew on the show. Now, there's a couple problems here. One of which I didn't mention last week, but is very related to this show right here. Matthew Cole is one of the journalists that is the reason John Kiriakou went to prison. He did not protect John Kiriakou as a source on matters that arose out of what began as his famous ABC interview that then he was going through some of the data on that confidentially with reporters. And they decided to leak, these things. And they then the government was able to eventually bring trumped up charges on John Kiriakou. And I was on the phone with John the other day. We were texting about this for a while. And, you know, it is personal to him. And I fully understand why. But he had tweeted about this as well. And I asked him, have you talked to Matthew since then? He said, no. He said, the other two guys involved, the other two journalists involved at least had the decency to apologize to me and reach out, which doesn't change anything. You know, it's like, you know, learn how to do your fucking job. But he's like, he's never so much as gotten an email from Matthew Cole, which to me, again, Joe can't data point. That's character flaw, huge character flaw, because it's not the last time Matthew Cole would burn a source. He also was involved in the burning of Terry Albury, and I believe 2017, who was someone who leaked some information from the FBI, who later did four years in prison for that material, because it was not protected by the journalists that included Matthew Cole, who were disseminating that information to the public. So there's already some issues there. But Matthew Cole, to review, decided to make these enormous claims about Jared Kushner, which again, and I've said this so many times about anyone who's clearly a bad guy, when someone's really bad, and you journalistically have a fuck ton of evidence to attack them on, do not give these people what they want and go find a fake thread that sounds fun and say this is 100% real and attack them with that, because then they can use that and say, the people accusing me of this over here that they did are the same people screaming this over here that they clearly. didn't do. Therefore, I must have not done this over here that they were accusing me of. You give them what they want. I don't care where the sentiments are, starting with my own. I'm always going to do my best to follow evidence. So when I see Matthew Cole make this whole story about Jared Kushner and these foreign bank accounts involving MBS, MBZ, fucking multiple countries to siphon money through so that they can. can't be tracked by any government agencies, and an Israeli central bank account that involves Benjamin Netanyahu and David Friedberg, Friedman or Friedberg, one of them, who was the former ambassador to Israel from the U.S. who was really like, you know, the fucking Israeli ambassador who just worked in the U.S. and said he did neither here nor there. But like all these huge accusations that they all do categorically deny without any semblance of physical proof on it. Yeah, I'm going to question that. So just. Very quickly, for people that didn't see last week's episode, what Matthew said is that, and the timeline's important here, he said that in 2017, the Netherlands intelligence service got wind that a GRU Russian hacker was a manager, like a high-level guy, I should say, was going to be going to the U.K. to do something for espionage, which already, I'm like, in 2017, at the height of Russia mania, and the U.K. and Russia certainly don't have a great intelligence relationship there. They were sending a serious guy to the U.K. to do a mission and they weren't concerned he was going to get picked up. That already is like a red flag to me. But anyway, Netherlands intelligence service allegedly says that this guy was going to go to Russia. They find out about it. They call up the Brits. They say, listen, fam, this motherfucker's about to land in fucking London. You know, what do you want us to do? Can we pick him up? And the Brits say, tell you what, pick him up and flip him. And if he doesn't flip, leave him for us and we'll arrest him. So they pick the guy up. They say, listen, you can sit in a British prison for the next fucking 40 years of your life or you can work with us. He says, I work with you. So allegedly, he takes them to some fucking file server that he had from the GRU that has all this espionage material. And within that espionage material, they find a ton of screenshots from Jared Kushner's at the time iPhone X. And they go, what the fuck is this? And he goes, we had Kushner's phone. So the Netherlands service, allegedly, according to Matthew Cole and his anonymous confidential source, I'm quoting that. They say, okay. And they work on trying to hack into this phone. They try to take control of the cameras and mics. They can't do that. But allegedly, what they're able to do is they're able to watch Kushner while he uses the phone. And when he does this, they're able to track all these bank accounts that he is a signatory on and actively moving money in across countries to launder money for surreptitious means while he is working as an unelected official right next to the fucking president of the United States at the time, Donald Trump, who also happened to be his father-in-law. Big story. You're telling me you can't release a screenshot? I mean, people would still call it AI and that's fair. But number one, you're telling me you can't give us a screenshot? And I'm going to get to the bibliography in a second because I reviewed that motherfucker real fast. Not one, not one piece of evidence. And you're also telling me that Jared Kushner, in 2017, this information is gleaned. In 2017, this is a year before Jamal Khashoggi. Got killed and all that. There would be three more years of Jared Kushner, three and a half more years of Jared Kushner working in the Trump administration. You're telling me that a European intelligence service from NATO, who fucking hates Donald Trump and might have even hated him more back then, got intelligence on his nepo baby son-in-law doing some of the most traitorous, insane, bad for the West shit, if you will, and didn't tell anyone until they told Matthew Cole, according to Matthew Cole, in 2020. Now, if I'm Matthew Cole, I'm I think back to that scene with Don Corleone in The Godfather with Sollozzo when Sollozzo comes to meet him as his friend and says, I have this deal for you with drugs. And Vito Corleone doesn't miss a beat with that. He sees right through it and he goes, why do you come to me? Why do I deserve this generosity? And it's a wink going, listen, pal, I know you're not here to just suck my cock. You came to me for a reason. Why are you coming to me with this? Why did you choose me? Which should have been the first question that Matthew Cole, who doesn't have a history of protecting sources, by the way, at the time. I'll take him at his word that someone came to him and told him this stuff. I'll take him at his word with that. Maybe even that's not true, but I'll take him at his word as that. He never questioned that. You are then telling me that Matthew Cole had this information in 2020. Three years after it happened, no one else had gotten it. Or anyone else who did was like, this is bullshit. It was so bullshit that they wouldn't even run with it. And then he gets it. And he holds on to it through not one, but two Donald Trump election cycles. One of the biggest traitor stories. It makes Watergate look like a fucking pissing contest. Holds on to it through two presidential fucking runs of Donald Trump. Never releases it. And then decides to release it like the Monday before a fucking midterm in November. Where Donald Trump is, you know, his party's already gonna get shellacked. And the court. The horse has left the barn here. You have to ask that question. Now, like, on the one hand, I don't want this to be true. Because it's really fucking bad for America. On the other hand, if it was just from, like, the I hate Jared Kushner club, which we do. I'd be like, God, I'd love to see him be more evil than I thought. Like, selfishly. But, like, again, I have to look at the evidence. And the fact is, when you look at the bibliography of this book. There's 235 pages in the book. Took him fucking five years, six years to write. Whatever it was. Said he traveled 100,000 miles. Did fucking 14 different countries. Wait, he did some fucking Instagram reel talking about all the shit that went into this book. 235 pages? That's it? That's all you got? That's kind of interesting. But anyway, he lists out in the bibliography, sourcing by every single page. All 235. I think it ended at page 234. And there wasn't anything for 235. 71 times confidential is used. Meaning it's just anonymous sources. You gotta go where you are. So, when I laid out. I laid out these concerns before I had even seen that with the Simon & Schuster guy. I said, listen, I understand how journalism works and that, yes, you deal with anonymous sources. I cover stories where people deal with anonymous sources. But we don't even have anything other than it's allegedly someone in Danish intelligence. We don't have any proof of concept or anything like that. And the guy said, I hear you. He said, I'll just tell you what's been said behind the scenes with us talking about this. Matthew says he's got to protect his sources. Interesting coming from Matthew. And, you know, this is how journalism has always been done. He said, look at Watergate. And in my head, I'm going, listen, I know Watergate was bad and, you know, all that and everything. But now there are a ton of people who believe none of it's real 50 years later because of how the reporting was done back then. So, that's an awful example to give. Again, it's probably one of those things where the truth is somewhere in the middle. You know, Nixon's probably dirty, probably was going to leave office, but maybe it wasn't like the whole thing was on him. I don't fucking know. I'm not a Watergate expert. But I see people fighting over that all the time with legitimate complaints about how the reporting was done by Woodward and Bernstein. So, like, that's what he's going to go off of as the example? Not great. And I'll read you. I said it was mentioned 71 times. Of the 107 mentions of the word confidential in the entire book, 71 of them are in the bibliography, including that whole chapter. I believe it was chapter 12, which was the excerpt, which is the heart, the meat and potatoes. There's a lot of claims in here, to be clear. But that was like a. Big, big claim in the book that one had confidential all over the bibliography, like the whole chapter. So he says this is Matthew writing a note on sources, and I'm just reading a piece of this and not reading the few things in total. I interviewed more than 50 people who had information about the events described in this book. Some had direct knowledge, while others had only indirect knowledge. I have erred on the side of caution when sources provided information, I believe to be true, but could not. Adequately confirmed doesn't sound like he took a lot of caution because he made some of the biggest claims I've seen this year. And reminder, it's 2026. We watch fucking three million files get the least get get released this year. So where possible, I sought at least two independent sources for any fact I considered important or controversial. Extensive references to sources appear at the end of the book. With few exceptions, the unnamed sources in this work are not heroes, though I consider their willingness to speak heroic. They're human, imperfect and complicated. They live and work in worlds many of us would find morally dubious, yet they understand right and wrong. Nearly every person I spoke with for the book shares a sense that the public must no longer be kept in the dark about the Trump administration's relationships with foreign leaders in the Middle East. Yeah, no shit, Sherlock, we already know about that. I know how far the UAE government has been willing to go to identify and expose a reporter's sources. In February 2017, while reporting in Abu Dhabi, Emirati intelligence agents secretly installed surveillance software on my phone. I would not discover it until years later. In an intelligence lab, privacy and surveillance technology experts at the University of Toronto found the malware on my phone. They tracked government's use of spyware, including the UAE's, to locate, monitor and disrupt political and human rights activists and journalists. I was one of them. For as many as six months, the UAE was able to see and record everything on my phone, including correspondence with my confidential sources. Their access ended only when I replaced my phone. Now, in his defense, that would have all been before he started working on this story in 2020. So it's not like they would have had access, allegedly, to the sources he dealt with. I don't know if that's true, but I don't think it's true. I don't think it's true, but I don't think it's true. guys they're not heroes they're imperfect and you know but i can't give you any physical proof you just gotta take my word for it i'm sorry it's it's too big a story i would like nothing more to see fucking jared kushner in prison you gotta give me more than this and if he by the way and and i mean this despite me cooking him on his past righteously so with burning sources and shit like that if matthew comes out and offers you know some actual physical proof and it's determined not to be ai and stuff like that that could still protect sources which i would definitely double check that matthew okay cool i i will shout just as loud as i am right now and that's what i showed told the simon and schuster guy but i gotta i gotta make sure the bases are covered here so i mean i obviously as of now i've turned down the podcast i think that's the right call yeah i'm not into doing the whole what the fuck dude gotcha like that's not what we do here i you know yeah you need sources i need sources dude i need sources we need we need so i want all i want all of it to be true yeah and and he did i would highly recommend people watch the 26 minutes that matthew cole did on monday on the daily show with john stewart first of all shout out to john because matthew is not comedically inclined and it was a really awkward watch because also john's on tv so he has to do it differently he has to step in and get timing for comedy and all that because they have a limit that's what sucks about tv this guy would never let him do the comedy he would never take the bait on fun jokes and john was really like he was so out of it that i don't even think he realized john was literally cooking him yeah by the second half of it and he said like when we when when after i talked with the simon and schuster guy i was telling you this but i was like this just feels steel dossier to me and that's exactly what john stewart said so shout out to john stewart on that i thought he did a really good job but again you know i'll be the first guy if i see good evidence to enjoy the the fucking you know a pr burial if you will of jared kushner because i don't want him anywhere near my fucking government and he seems to be all over it but i got i got to see more than this so that's all i have to say about that joey def yes sir now the big yahoo big yahoo the big yeah i love that that's fucking uh Ceylon tour Nolan kept calling them the Big Yahoo. I think I'm going to use that forever. It's great. The Big Yahoo is holding on for dear life right now in Israel. That's how Mike Huckabee says it, right? Israel. Israel is holding on for dear life in Israel. So anyway, there was an election over in Israel, and there's a lot of moving pieces here. We're going to simplify it at the top level. Obviously, they have many parties, so there is not a dual system over there. And And what they do is people vote on the parties rather than like who's going to be prime minister. And when they do that, based on the percentages of the votes, each wing, which spans from the left all the way through the right, gets their percentage of seats. And so as far as I can tell, almost never – like there's 120 seats available. It's never like one literal party from any wing actually wins all the required 61 seats to form a government. It's almost always a coalition. Right. What happens is somebody gets the most amount of votes. I believe in 2023, the Likud party, Benjamin Netanyahu's party, got 33 of the 120 seats, which was the most. And they then go to like-minded parties, using air quotes there, but people that are more towards their wing. And they form coalitions where those parties' leaders will throw their seats that they won behind the main one. So last time. And Netanyahu was able to form a government with over 60 seats because he went to the likes of Ben-Gavir and Smotrich and got people like that on board to form this coalition, which also meant then giving – it's a political deal. It means giving them political favors, if you will, for, OK, you join me. I will let you do this. You want to start something that says we're allowed to hang Palestinian prisoners? Great. I'll do it. Like that's what they're saying. And so this time, Likud only. Likud only got 27. And there was even a point where, when you were looking at the odds, like the day of, where it was like, wow, he's really going to lose. But Netanyahu has managed to stay alive when the coalition was formed. What is it at? 53 seats currently? Something like that. Something like that, yeah. It's not 61. It's not 61. I believe it's about 53. So as of right now, Netanyahu's current government is a placeholder government. And over, what is it, the next 28 days, Joey D? Yeah. Over the next 28 days, they have to try to make deals of a lifetime to get to their 61 seats. And if they do, the Likud party, which means fucking Benjamin Netanyahu, stays in power. Now, I've said this many times, and I'll always repeat this. I don't like getting involved in fucking foreign elections. I don't like getting involved in our fucking own elections at all. You know, I will report on things that happen. Objectively, what I can say is that I think the branding. The branding of the world towards Benjamin Netanyahu and his political arm is quite bad. And it would not be a good look in any stretch of the word for that to continue to be the government Israel. That is not to say that these other governments won't also be a problem. There's certainly some political problems with the other ones. You know, the question is, you hope you don't land on something that's worse, by the way. But, you know, the likes of, like, Benjamin Netanyahu. Who immediately said, I think Joey Deeb actually has this quote, so I'll get it right. Netanyahu told Ben Kavir and Smotrich, who were two of the worst people on the planet, quote, we are together and we are staying together. That's not a good omen. Yeah. For if that government were to win. Now, the opposition, which is in multi-facets, is a full spectrum. The guy who's on the liberal end, I don't know, what's his name, Gotti Eisenkot? Is that how you say it? Sounds. He wants an inquiry into October 7th and the fact that information, was not acted upon that they had ahead of time. And, you know, there was a stand down order and things like that, which you would hope would be done on the up and up. Cynically, you think it probably wouldn't, but he at least wants an inquiry into that so that the world could try to get some semblance of truth. And again, hopefully it's not a fucking 9-11 commission report, by the way. But, you know, he's also less hawkish on Iran. They're all kind of hawkish on Iran. But it's not the best, all right? This is also a guy who was, you know, extensively high with the IDF for a long time. So, like, it's not great. But, again, it would be a good look, a better than bad look. Yeah. I feel like that's somewhat fair, right, Joe? Yeah, yeah. For the people of Israel to get this guy the fuck out of there. Yeah. If that's me getting involved. If that's me getting involved, I apologize. Call me a hypocrite. But, like, oh, I'm sick of talking about that dude. You know, he's saying it's like election turnout. There's voter fraud from the Arab parties, which, by the way, the Arab-related parties got the most seats. Is that correct, Joey D, if I believe that right? They got the most seats they've ever gotten, which is, that's interesting. Because that would mean mathematically that there are non-Arabs. There are non-Arab people. There are Jewish people in Israel who voted for those parties. Yeah. Which, you know, without looking at their full political platform and endorsing all of it, because I don't fucking know all of it, but I'm just looking at this from the highest level. Good on them. You know? It is a departure from its opposite, if you will. So, we'll see how this turns out. But he's already. You know, the Smotrits and the Ben-Gavirs of the world. It's tough. It's tough. I saw a guy the other day talking some foreign policy wonk about how he's so pissed off that people can't name the fucking Secretary of Interior in Japan, but they know about Smotrits and Ben-Gavir. Yes, because these are the guys who openly advocate for war, do the war, and openly advocate for ethnic cleansing and a greater Israel, and then do the ethnic cleansing and the greater Israel stuff, tell you they're doing it, brag about doing it, and do the war. They enjoy killing people of another race strictly because they're of another race. So, yeah, we do talk about that. Last I checked, the fucking Interior Ministry of Japan wasn't doing that. Yeah, they're vibing over there. They're vibing. They're drifting. I saw that movie. It's a great fucking movie. Yeah, I mean, yeah, if you're vibing, I don't need to know. They made sushi. I fuck with sushi. No, they're up. They're doing great things, so why the hell does it matter? Fun fact, I didn't know the Japanese made sushi until about six years ago. That's concerning. It was. I went to a Chinese—this is seven years ago. In 2019, I went to a Chinese restaurant with my buddies Mitch and Mike Laxamana, who are very cultured people of the Asiatic area of the world. Love those guys. Shout out to the Laxamanas. And we go to—they're like, we're going to this really nice Chinese restaurant. I'm like, fuck yeah. So I get there. I'm going through the menu. The waitress gets to the table, and I'm like, what the fuck? And they're like, what? I'm like, where are the spicy tuna rolls? I'm looking for the spicy tuna rolls. And they're like, Julian, they don't have them. I'm like, what the fuck you mean they don't have—this is a Chinese restaurant. I need fucking sushi. And I think they wanted to crawl under the table and go. Yeah, I would have. You got to watch that South Park episode so you can learn the difference between Japan and China. Yeah. Shout out to our Japanese and Chinese listeners. But, you know, ugly American moment, if you will. Yeah, it's a tough one. I know Italian food very well. I know French food decently. That's like— That's about where it is for me. I'm like trying to think of what the similar thing would—it would be like— them walking into an Italian restaurant and being like, where's the paella? Oh, God. Don't do that. And you're like, excuse me? Don't do that. Well, yeah, it's an Italian restaurant. Where's the paella? Yeah. No, that's tough. That's tough, dude. That's really tough. But, you know. You'll bounce back. I did bounce back from that. I know the difference now. But, like, I still have to, like, look at both menus, like Japanese and Chinese, to know, oh, wait, that one's actually— that one's Chinese or that one's Japanese, you know? We—we—a few good weekends of eating around and we—we could fix that quick. All right. We'll figure it out. Yeah. They got good Chinese food in Edinburgh? I mean, yeah, like the UK, they're really big on what's called spice bags. And they just take, like, shrimp, chicken, all types of, like, proteins and then, like, French fries and some veggies. And they put it in a bag and then just rip it with, like, Chinese seasoning, curry, powder, all kinds of shit. Now, curry's Indian. Yeah, but it's not, actually. Like, Japanese curry, they're—yeah, curry, like, that's just—you think it's just Indian, but it's—it's in a lot of Japanese dishes, especially. I'm gonna stop talking. You'd be surprised. Lots to learn out there. I'm digging a deeper hole. Yeah. Anyway, yeah, obviously haven't spent a ton of time in the— Thai food uses lots of curry, too. Now, what's the difference between Thai food and fucking Chinese food? Well, one is from— Thailand, and one is from China. All right. Well, actually, ooh, I might have just put—I might have just dug myself in a hole. That's all right. Where's Thai food from? You're the Chinese guy. You're supposed to fucking— Oh, wow. I feel like such an idiot now. If Thai food is not from Thailand, we got a problem. No, it is from Thailand. Thank Christ. That's a branding problem, if that was the case. Well, because then I was like, no, it can't be—what? Yeah, and by the way, I figured— I figured out the genesis of this, so there was a restaurant that when we would do the Chinese food thing that was by my house when I was growing up that we'd go to that was a Chinese-Japanese restaurant. Yeah, and like some of the Chinese buffets, too, they'll like do like, you know, you can get California rolls and stuff. Oh, they give you fucking burgers and shit. Yeah. Yeah. But like, you know, culturally speaking, different cuisines. Right. So, last thing on this Israeli election after our visit to China there, you know, they have I have the 28 days form this coalition if they don't another election takes place in 90 days and it's i think it was like the way it was explained to us was it's as if the first election didn't happen yeah it's like golden goal first one to get a vote wins okay no i'm kidding that's not true okay i would have gone with it i would have gone with it just to close the loop yeah you know so you close it up you could have just let that happen it could be a unity government yeah and yahoo hasn't said whether he'd consider one well i'd guess he would he probably wouldn't because he's going to jail not even for the war crimes that motherfucker the minute he's out of there and another party's in control he's fucked yeah there's gonna be like go watch the bb files documentary it's just the footage of all the depositions he's done like he has literally used war to stay the fuck out of prison i mean this is like life or death for him which is scary which you know maybe that's why they're talking about the fucking end of the world oh shit the big yahoo didn't fucking better fucking get him in there he's about to do some shit in iran that could be why i i don't know that's pure spec that is total pure spec i have no fucking idea no idea there was an interesting story though ron lauder who denounced netanyahu said they'd better get him out of there and you know he's not he basically is like not bullish on his property on the on the future on on israel's future right now because of everything and this is this guy is all i mean you know he's the president of it's the world jewish congress right yes okay he's the president of the world jewish like this guy is he is a hardcore longtime supporter of israel and was a longtime supporter of benjamin netanyahu but he branded netanyahu as a total fucking power hungry opportunist and i you get no arguments from me on that by the way but that was very very interesting to me that is that that's a big big public falling out and again it's like no disrespect but like hey i mean he sold his places in israel cool why do americans care so much about who the fuck is in charge of israel i don't sit here and worry about who the fuck is in charge of italy love the place i live there i got family that lives there i'm worried about here so i will say that to anyone that's like this yeah it's just it's weird sorry yeah not sorry what are you gonna do what are you gonna do what are you gonna do i've given that speech playing times before i'm not repeating it yeah we'll wait another six months before i run through that one it's a fun one but all i'm saying is there were a lot of guys whose names ended in a vowel who had parents at home in new york that didn't even speak fucking english yet who were like i'm not gonna do this i'm not gonna do this i'm not gonna do this i'm not went and fought in world war ii in italy for america just saying just saying you know he's got that point peter teal pete and the great antichrist lecture that joey deev had a front row seat to yeah so i got two articles down there if you go down to that section below the jared kushner stuff the first one represents the journalist who was allowed to cover his antichrist lecture who as the headline of this article says just so happened to work for the outlet he funded now joey deev this guy what the fuck was his name again is it pete peterson or no it's from it's from the pirate wires rango what the fuck gb rango did you get a chance to talk with him um no i didn't there was a guy named rango there and you didn't like start a fucking combo oh fuck him fuck him yeah rango you didn't like him it was dodge durango then i might have talked you might now why um i just love american muscle you like american muscle yeah well now where was he positioned was he like in the front taking notes peter's i think peter's a bottom oh oh you mean for the the oh for the lecture yeah they they attach a couple of wires to him and he does like an ascension over the crowd not not deal oh the journalist where was gb rango was he in the back like he was chained up in a gimp suit and they give him a little microphone and he speaks to whisper flow to write his article write the article yeah and they check it before he leaves oh you bet your fucking ass they do okay so out of i'm reading straight from the article now out of everyone who attended billionaire entrepreneur peter teal's lecture series on the antichrist only a reporter from the teal funded pirate wires was allowed to disclose what was said at the event attendees came to the grand lodge free and accepted masons in nashville for four consecutive mondays so they got it's like a week intermission in between them joey d if you were down there a while wait kept coming back and forth wait they had it at a mason's lodge i told you that don't act don't act innocent mr 34th fucking level mason over there sorry i'm breaking hold on yeah my so it started september 28th and that was the first monday they did it so they came out here to hear teal's lecture series on the antichrist only teal funded pirate wires gb rango was permitted to share his experience at the off the record lecture series that's a fake name it's probably the article is my best attempt at a faithful reconstruction of the events and arguments from my memory notes and occasional reference to online posts from other attendees rango said in his article funded by teal pirate wires was created in 2020 by michael solana former vice president at teal's venture capital firm founders fund neither pirate wires teal nor rango responded to the daily caller news foundation's request for comment the antichrist said steel will mark the totalitarian termination of philosophy rango wrote in traditional christian eschatology the antichrist is a false prophet who will deny christ and reign before the second coming according to theologian christopher ralland peter teal has long referred to peace and safety sourced from one thessalonians 5-3 as the slogan for the antichrist rango wrote teal thinks that the antichrist will assume authoritarian power through the promise of peace the lectures at the freemasons that's why he's going to argentina and new zealand the lectures at the freemasons the lectures at the freemason lodge ventured off into other topics like transhumanism it always gets in there if t if pete's around now now how did it get there from someone asking a similar question in the q a to like do you believe that humanity should continue to exist and then he had like a long ums and uhs pause before actually some person was like peter i don't have limbs i can't you know live good quality of life and then pete's like well yeah that's why we're going to turn you into a half human half centaur oh he went the centaur route he went he's full harry potter yeah he's gonna do crazy shit okay interesting on the subject of artificial intelligence teal suggested that it won't be ai itself but rather the ai safetyists espousing apocalyptic doomerism who will provide the groundwork for the rise of the antichrist so let me translate there he is saying if you don't let the teals the altmans the amadeus all these the ellisons of the world develop their ai to the fullest you are actually bringing in the antichrist not the people who openly talk about creating some sort of transhumanist antichrist i'm just putting some paraphrases there through this technology that sam altman jokes will probably end humanity also here's a good one you know he refers to one fizzlonians five three the peace and safety um what's the fucking first thing that all of these fucking companies are doing to flock cameras we need peace and safety and what did benny say those who would sacrifice a little liberty for a little more safety deserve neither liberty nor safety yep they did the meme great great call joey thief teal made a point of calling out pope leo once again we already covered that but he did it again in the antichrist lectures calling him a useful idiot for writing magnifica humanitas an encyclical on ai which teal dubs as greeting the antichrist and the antichrist cultural authority to ai doomers rango wrote because of the united states political and cultural authority teal mused on the possibility of presidential hopefuls being the Antichrist. Thiel ruled out New York City Mayor Zoran Mondani as the Antichrist because he cannot become president. He considered former Vice President Kamala Harris and Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom as more likely candidates. Look for a person who would be a very bad president of the United States, he said on identifying the Antichrist. Thiel does not believe President Donald Trump is the Antichrist because he is not popular enough. You're telling me Kamala Harris and Gavin Newsom are popular? I thought you were smart. Yeah. He said Xi Jinping, President of China, might be the second coming of Hitler, but not the Antichrist. God, this guy's weird. What a fucking weirdo. Now, there's a whole, like, they're citing some of it, but I have the article right there. Mm-hmm. Joey DeVito. I did, there was someone who reached out to me. I'm going to be very vague on the details. I mentioned this at the opener, but just to expand upon it. This was a couple weeks ago who mentioned some events occurring in Nashville and actually did send me screenshots of, of, I'm trying to think how I should say this. I don't know. They sent me screenshots of something that outlined that these events, which were not these exact lectures. They were events surrounding lectures, that these events surrounding the lectures did in fact occur. And they said there were some very weird requests from a staffing standpoint and a privacy standpoint. And he's like, you know, this is Nashville. This is not. Mm-hmm. It's not. He was like, we don't do this here. Yeah. It's not the Lower East Side. No. Yeah. No. It sure as shit ain't fucking, you know, six steps out of St. Peter's Square. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And some underground fucking Victorian dungeon or something. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know, so I'm going to talk to that guy again because it, you know, there, there was some legitimacy there, but actually GB's, he's reliving some of the shit you did, Joey Deef, in his article. Really? He play-by-plays it because like he couldn't write the art. He wasn't allowed to write the article in there. He had to write it from memory and like a few notes he was prepped to take. This is based off memory. Yeah. And you said he was chained and he had to read it into Whisper. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So maybe Whisper changed it up, made him misremember some things. Yeah. What is that picture, by the way? What does he say that is? This is, um, Sermon and the Deeds of Antichrist by Luca Signorelli. Yo, Luca kind of cooked on that. What year is that? 1499. Yeah. Yeah. We ain't do art like that no more. Look at that. Yeah, that's great. Look at that. That's some great stuff. Hang it in the Louvre, literally. Might be, honestly. It might be. Yeah. Can we Google that? That shit's in the We're going through that hardcore last December. Sermon and the Deeds. It was a lot to take in. The Louvre, if you ever go, is like sensory overload. I mean that in a great way. Like, it's so much to take in. It's actually inside the Chapel of San Berizio in the. In Rome? In Orvieto Cathedral in Umbria. In Umbria? Yeah. Oh, that's interesting. Yeah. You got the Antichrist in a cathedral. I'll leave that one right there. So this is G.B. Rango writing about his arrival to the Antichrist lectures. It's like, can you imagine? Sir, what are you here for? I'm here for the Antichrist lecture. All right. Right there, up there. Up there on the left, two paces. You're good. Okay. I parked several minutes walk from the Masonic Lodge, arriving half an hour before the event's 6 p.m. posted start time. As I approached, it became clear that this was insufficient. Winding down from the metal detectors situated atop the pillared building's stone stairs and past multiple security guards and a pacing canine team was a line of people so long that it turned the street corner and continued on for multiple locks. A lot of people looking for the ante of Christ. I walk sheepishly to its caboose. Back at a bus, if you will. The crowd was largely male and suit wearing, not in a formal businessy way, but rather in a or two buttons undone way. Very giga chad, right? I expected to see a larger presence of bespectacled bedheaded techie tights, but in their stead found throngs of guys who were much conventionally cooler than I was and were likely cigar puffers or raw egg slonkers. He can write, he can write, he can write. So there were a lot of young men who looked plucked out of a college Republicans club, but there were also perhaps a few more women, old and young, than one would have expected to see at the event. As we collectively snaked our way up to the front for ID checks, the sidewalk and adjacent buildings wall nooks became increasingly strewn with notebooks and pens. Apparently a message had been passed down that note-taking would not be permitted. The flat top of some truncated pillar nearest to this, I thought he said he was taking notes though. Interesting. The flat top of some truncated pillar nearest to the security entrance was littered with several dozen short cylindrical zin tins. As it turned out, that these were also prohibited. Peter Thiel don't like zin. It was not particularly surprising to me that this crowd as a demographic will be packing heavy zin artillery. Both prohibitionists, notebooks, notebooks and zins were later lifted by the organizers citing overzealous security, meaning that I was able to take written notes for three of the four lectures. So he was allowed. Okay. And it was in a theater. It was large. So they got a theater. Do you think they had a theater at the lodge? Yeah. You didn't tell me that. Yeah. I saw pictures. Yeah. You should have described it that way in the first place. Yeah. I kind of, yeah. I kind of, I kind of conked out that it was at a masonic lodge. I know, but like you have to, you need to let us catch you in your lies to admit your lies. You know, it's hard when I'm kind of making it up as we go. Uh-huh. Right. Peter Thiel came out from stage left. His lecture slide, maybe you didn't lie about that. Maybe it was a PowerPoint were displayed behind him on an extremely large, blindingly bright screen that was maybe 12 feet tall and covered the entire width of the stage. The slides were simple in design, white backgrounds and blue text. He settled at the podium and began. This has sections called biblical end times prophecy, the Christian view of history, signs of the end times again, you know, right on fucking exactly what you would think it is. But honestly, if I were sitting around and I were anywhere within the area of Nashville and I were thinking of things I would want to do on a Monday night with my time, going to a lecture of Peter Thiel talking about the antichrist, even from like an academic point of view would not be on that list. I'm just not interested in being in that room. That's just me. Someone like this fucking guy can report on it and we hope it's not half lies. It probably is. And that'll be enough for me to know not great stuff happening in there. You know what, when people tell you who they are, believe them. And this week, I want to leave you with this because we do have the midterms on Tuesday. We've alluded to what the data looks like and all that. Assuming the world doesn't end, Joey D, correct? Correct. Trying to warn us. It just might. As you know, I will never tell people how to vote or anything like that. I will never endorse a candidate. I do not host candidates on my show. As guests, I'm not interested in ever getting involved in elections. That's always been my policy to this point in the show. It's six years, almost eight months in at this point, six years and eight months. But I think one thing I do continue to feel stronger about as time goes on, when I look at every level of culture and society, it's that no matter who you support or what your political beliefs are, and obviously there's a spectrum of them, we always get the same shit. You know, it's packaged a different way. The pendulum swings at different times and moves from left to right and right to left and back and forth and back and forth. People yelling at each other. This is the boogeyman. No, that's the boogeyman. No, this boogeyman. But the elites are always going to position themselves with the winning horse. That's why you've seen people like Peter Thiel come out and criticize Donald Trump in the past few weeks on Iran all of a sudden, you know, which is a moment where it's like the worst person you know made a good point, you know, but at the same time, it's politically expedient for him to do that because he knows what's coming next. That's why you've seen, I forget what it was, but one of the open AI, you can check it deep, hired Chuck Schumer's daughter to be like in a major job over there because they see where the pendulum's going with the shift here. And you know, it's why some of the, it was open AI. Yeah. It's why some of the political messaging is now a different boot on a different throat over different things than they were two years ago. And then they were two years before that and two years before that, because we have continued to get people into office left and right. claim they are going to, I won't even say promise this, this, and that, which to be clear, they do, and then don't follow through on, but they claim to represent the ideas of this, this, and that, whatever they are. And then their actions end up being the opposite of that. So again, I'm an optimist. I like to see the good in society. I think most Americans, most of us are fucking great people. I think most humans are fucking great people, but we keep finding a way to incentivize people who are not the best among us to go hit these offices and try to win office and win some semblance of power when in reality, they're just paid off by interest to make sure that they do what daddy wants them to do.
