I Got a Hair Transplant

The podcast team plans to watch Toy Story at 2 PM, framing it as a significant, fuel-intensive experience that rivals daily work. They express frustration with John’s inconsistent and illogical actions—like watering the pickleball court or changing his anniversary to 9/11—calling them absurd and wasteful. The group acknowledges David’s extravagant lifestyle and vlog content as entertaining but potentially out of touch, especially for viewers in lower-income situations. They suggest more casual, relatable content—like sitting on the couch and chatting—would better connect with audiences. A fan from England praises the vlogs for reflecting a shared friend group vibe and appreciates that the creators live a dream version of success. However, he notes the high cost of that lifestyle and suggests more authentic, everyday content would resonate more. The team also reflects on the joy of unexpected fan interactions, like kids recognizing them or fans excited by minor celebrity moments, and expresses fascination with how cultural exposure—such as the World Cup—shapes global perspectives. They conclude by joking about the absurdity of American culture being admired by Europeans, and end with a humorous commitment to future episodes, including a breakdown of the Fahrenheit vs. Celsius debate.

(upbeat music) - What's up guys, we're back to views. We are back with another pod. Today is, this is team minus two hours till I go see Toy Story or as Jason likes to call it, the worst movie franchise of all time. Coming from The King of Daily Vlogs. Nat, what are you? - Oh gee, what do we think's up on that shelf? - Ooh, I don't know. - But you realize you can make everything. - Grab my toe, I'll climb up there. - But you realize you can make every movie sound that dumb if you use that voice? - Yeah, yeah. - Go ahead, try and make interstellar sound dumb. - Were you using that voice? - Go. - Were you alone trying to go to space? - I can't get there. There's my dad. - Oh my God, there's me as a child. - Like I said, that's not fair. See, so let's not use that voice because you're just, you're making every movie. - I'm all for Toy Story, I'm sure it's gonna be great. - Okay, I'm glad you've come back. - Sorry, Natalie, I need to know right now. Can you go see that 2PM? It's a weird time to go see a movie, but. - I mean, I think it's funny 'cause you think that I'm not working hard enough, but you want me to go see Toy Story at 2PM for three hours on the day. - Okay, can I just say something? - Cooked, going to see Toy Story is more work than we get done in any day. Like, to see-- - You just gave her shit for TikToks and now you're carving out three hours out of the day, three and a half, to go see Toy Story at two o'clock. - And that would just happen. - That's the thing that pisses me off. - Let me just tell you something. - I owe my existence to Pixar. I owe this whole home to my childhood. - Okay, so going to see Toy Story is like putting, it's like putting gas in the tank. - Yeah. - Do you know what I mean? It's a lot more fuel than sitting here and answering emails. So yes, we have to go see Toy Story when the toys are versing tech. This is a big Toy Story that we have to go see. - Let's put it in. - Yo. - Oh, Elias here. - Elias is here. - Elias just got a hair transplant. - He looks like a- - Perfect timing. - Let's go on off. - It looks like a age of hope is witnessed. - Wow, Kimberly Villios here. Yeah, so- - I know you summoned him. - I did ask it. - I did ask it in. I was just giving Natalie shit. - Oh, hell yeah, perfect timing. Let's go. - Well, before the pot I was giving Natalie shit for doing, for- - For my TikTok. - For Filming Nine, TikTok's a week. - Yeah. - What do you think about that? - I mean, I just find it amazing that you find time for it. (laughing) Oh, it's like, even if you're sister posted, it's still like, it's still like, it's my share, you know, that you should be like, using elsewhere. In my opinion. - That's okay. Let's not get into it, 'cause I think Natalie will go riled up and then she's gonna hit somebody. - I know, I know, I know. - I'm honestly only like 50% getting. - Yeah, me too. I'm only halfway there. I like low-key kind of like- - I just like, what's fascinating to me is how obsessed you guys are with my TikTok. - I'm actually not obsessed, but I get why David is obsessed, which makes me obsessed. (laughing) - I just like that when you leave work, I still can be updated with what you're doing, 'cause you're posting 300 times on social media. - It's exactly everyone. - I fucking eat. - No, no, there's people rapping. The Christmas lights are being added to the tree. We're going to see Toy Story, you wanna come out? - Nice, one. - 2 p.m. - Today? - Yeah, more than 45 minutes. - Yeah. - No, I can't. - Really? - Yeah, thank you, though. - It's Toy Story's first tag. - That's a crazy time to go to a movie. - So crazy. - So, can I bring up something that John did yesterday that like infuriated me? And this is like, this is like something that I gave John one task. And I was like, John, can you plant flowers around the tree? We're having a price fix tournament, and I had them get purple flowers. And I was like, can you plant the flowers around the tree? I wouldn't even get into how he planted them. I'll tell you how he planted them. He took the flowers out of the little thing that they're held in, and then put them in the dirt, but didn't put them completely in the dirt. He built the dirt around them, so it looked like the flowers were coming out of a sand castle. Do you know what I mean? So the flowers were hovering above the ground by about seven inches, which is fucking crazy. Okay, and then when he was watering the flowers, he got some water on the pickleball court. Okay, so I'm gonna return to that. I had a pickleball game about in an hour, and Alex is like, we can't play pickleball, the courts being washed. I'm like, what does that mean? The courts never washed. And I go to check the court. The court is soaked. Top to bottom puddles everywhere. And I'm like, what the fuck is going? It's midday. Why is it, why is it, it didn't rain? Why is it covered in, in water? Yeah. And then, and then I asked John, I'm like, John, why is the court covered in water? He's like, oh, I decided to water it. And I'm like, what does it even mean? Like, I've never even, I've never heard that verbiage in my life. Like, no one, no water. Or to grow the court a little bit. Yeah, like, you don't water courts. And I go, why did you water the court? And he's like, well, I got some water on a little piece of it when I was watering everything. And then I decided I might as well water the whole thing. Genius. Absolute genius. And, oh, Jay, it was the craziest shit ever. And it's like, I was here. And I'm like, what the fuck? It's not like, it's not like, oh, I made half of my bed. So I might as well make the whole, my whole bed. Sure. But like, watering the court is never a task that needs to be done earlier. It's like, might as well get out of the way. Not that half of it's watered. Might as well water the full thing. I was thinking, maybe he's seen like dads in the past, like sprayed down the driveway. That's like a thing that dads do. And I think that's what he was trying to do. No, no, you don't. Let me get all the dust. Let me get all the dirt that's like the smog that settles. I would get that if the court wasn't just painted. It was, it's a brand new court. Yes, yes, I saw. It was painted five days ago. It was painted purple. So him watering it is actually a negative thing. 'Cause you can't go on the court for three days. Grand, this is day five. But I don't think it's a good thing to be watering the court. If you couldn't walk on it two days ago, right? You guys realize that's some like schizophrenic shit? No, I'm not getting it. No, I hadn't explained it to me. And he said when he saw the water on part of the court, it looked really shiny. And the rest of the court wasn't shiny. So he wanted to make the whole court shiny. Which is like, obviously the court's gonna be shiny. If the water is on the court, obviously it's shiny. Exactly. So I think he wanted, I think his brain was like, I need to make the whole court glisten. So he watered the whole court. And then, and then he had to dry the court. He had squeegee the whole thing 'cause the game was coming in 45 minutes. And-- Did he get a dry? Yeah, he got a dry, but he just added so much more work for no reason. It's really funny, did you see David? So this all happens, and then David walks in with his laptop, and he had just posted a vlog, and he goes, hey guys, I have a new vlog. And we were like, wait, he just posted a vlog, and it's security footage of John. Spraying down, did you see it? Yeah, yeah. It's security footage. I got all the security footage of John spraying the court on, and I added a Bon Jovi track to it, and I sped it up. Not just a John Bon Jovi track. It's my life. It's not that. And it's just John. What's he doing? Wait, but you found an interesting thing about John. Yeah. This is why I wanted him in here. Yeah, we were at dinner the other night, and Naveen told me that, I guess, I don't know, I don't know if you could speak to this, but I guess John and Julia have an anniversary, like everybody, right? Let's say it's August 1st or whatever. John changed their anniversary to 9/11. So if he wants to, when he has to buy airline tickets, the tickets will always be cheaper. No fucking way. Like, literally the most insane shit I've ever heard. Do you know what David? I don't know if that's true. It's John just like banking on never having money for the rest of his life. I don't know. I don't know if it's true, so I wanted him in here to ask him. I think it's like a really fucking weird thing. He's no way Julia agreed to that. Also, no, no, she was there. She was like, yeah, like she was like laughing about it. Yeah, so now we celebrate on 9/11. John's been-- [LAUGHTER] Which is insanity here. God bless her. God bless her. I mean, you know, a guy wants to save a little money. That's fine. And if he's saving, like, she's cool. What does he say? What is he saving, like, 50 bucks on his own? It's not even that. It's like, what are you-- you're moving a whole fucking anniversary for-- it's just, I don't know. I think it defeats the entire purpose. What I don't like is John-- OK, so our buddy, Alex-- Who is it? Our long podcast is about John. No, because John's been pissing me off recently. First of all, the main thing is he has a good income. Billy and I pay him. He makes good money. Like, really good money, right? All things considered, he's a fucking millionaire. Yeah. Like, way too much money-- Free rent. To ever be free rent. Free rent, free car, no utilities. Free car, no utilities. No gas, he's insurance. That's the only thing he pays. Yes, the only thing he pays. But no gas, even. He takes electricity from the house, which is totally fine. And it's like-- I don't want to bring this up. But he cosplays as a man who makes no money. And it stresses me out. Because Alex, who's pursuing to be a DJ-- Yeah. --and I've talked about this guilt that I have with Alex. Yeah. They're like, I don't hire Alex to do things. And it makes me feel bad. Right. Because like, John gets away with so much just because he's so fucking funny, because he doesn't do things properly, that we like to hire him. And then poor Alex, who's chasing this dream of being a DJ, doesn't make money. And then this other day, these people came to play pickleball. And I was like, Alex, I'm going to put up $3,000 on your behalf to play this person in one-on-one. This person's like a millionaire that he's playing. I'm like, you're playing them one-on-one. If you beat them, if you beat them, you're keeping all the money. And if they beat you, I'll pay them the money. $3,000 for Alex is a lot. It's his bank account. Do you have six home? No, he's taking three. But it's doubling his bank account. Got it. And John goes in bets on the other side of it. Shut the fuck up. Against the out. And I'm like, you are a fucking at, dude. I lost my shit. I lost my shit. I started hitting him. I'm just a John bet. OK. OK. Let me let me play it honest because he didn't bet okay, the girl that was on the other side was like John I'm gonna give you $500 as a gift if I win okay And John took it and started rooting for this girl and started cheering for her and I'm like John You're an asshole like don't take that money. This is finally finally ask at some moment to shine here Yeah, we're talking about the guy who wanted to sell your underwear But I went into your room snuck into your room and went to go sell your underwear Yeah, if you don't know that story, actually, I feel like a lot of people don't connect this to the same John Because that vlog was so long ago, but there was a time this is in a vlog where we emailed How do we come into contact with John with email John as like under an alias saying like I'm a prince from Saudi or something and I would love David's underwear, but he can't know that he's taking the underwear will give you like $5,000 from it Anyway, John went into my room took my underwear and sold it, but it was only us on the other end It was like to catch a predator, but we caught John It was incredible and it was very expected and it didn't like change my perception of John whatsoever nothing ever will because I know who John is But it was really funny. Yeah, that is that is the same guy who would sell my underwear For so it happened did Alex win Alex won. Oh wow Alex won $3,000 It was really really really close game. Yes Alex. It was best to out of three Alex lost the first game I was I had to scream I had to and then not only that not only that this is what pissed me off the most Then I had to like play my David tactics. I was like this is more than just the game on the court I had to start Playing the game off the court and like manipulating the situation so Alex could win I was trying to get in in the girls head right what you say well I was just like I was like John stop betting like Alex really needs this money This is a big thing for Alex. Yeah, and then John got mad at me and was like you're getting in her head You're getting in her head by saying that what the fuck would you do that? It's not fair That's not fair And John started taking her side and I was like I was like John This is your best friend from your hometown was about to win 3,000. I don't want it was I've never been that mad at my life anyway It's enough about you saw dollar bills. It'll have you been house your hair transplant. That's good dude. Was it painful? No, not really. It's just dude that taking care of it is such a bitch, man Like I have to sleep at 45 degrees with a neck pillow Hmm, and that's like you're on a flight Every night. It's like you're on a flight. Yeah. Oh my god. It's for how long 30 days? No, sorry 14 days Oh, I would just never do that. I know well honestly honestly Well, never do the hair transplant 14 days that I had no idea that that was gonna be the case and then like on day seven now in my head I'm like if I would have known I genuinely don't know if I would have done it like it's really rough dude. Why do you have to sleep at 45 degree angle? So your graphs don't touch Okay, we explain the kind of hair transplant you got you your hair interest But you got your head is buzzed right now his head looks like a circle. It's inflamed. Yeah, I've never seen you look like this in my life Well, you want to see me take my fucking thing off? No, no, but you had off. I've seen it. I want to see but you look like I'll take it off Why do you look like a circle? Because I've like I've puffiness from all the liquid that they like pumped into my skull and And he was so still and I thought it was a photo Dude, I feel like I feel like a little Beverly Hills ho, you know, I don't know why I feel like Yeah, like I feel like I got my nadi card taken from me like everything's been natural about me and then this is the one thing Okay, can you explain why you wanted it? Yeah, I mean, I was just really self-conscious about my my hairline and like I started losing my hair when I was Fucking 18 years old and like it's it was really bad Like it was to a point where like but like my barber had like a like a special haircut for me to like cover my hair It was I was really and like I would wear it had everywhere and like I would always be checking my hair I don't know. It was just fucking honestly at the end of the day was really annoying Yeah, do you think that you're gonna not wear hats anymore like fuck yeah, dude a hundred percent you really think that this Hairline's gonna want a thousand. Don't get me wrong. I'll wear a hat every now and then but like I'm definitely not gonna be wearing hats Oh, so you only wore a hat for your hairline. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think hats are like kind of annoying honestly Wow, that's crazy. I'm like expensive Yes, but well worth it. How much was it? Yeah, 25,000 My god, I mean I think that's so worth it because it's what it changes your whole life and like it's the hairs that you get Transplanted stay with you forever like they never fall out. Yeah, also one cool thing that I found out is they never fall out That's actually kind of crazy. It's crazy. Well, they take it from the back and the sides Do they regrow on the back? No, but but you have enough of them where it still looks full on the side in the back So it doesn't really look like you had anything done, which is cool And it's like if you have to get this done again or is this one time thing one time But like it doesn't stop the other hair from falling out like if I have hair on the top of my head fall out later Like I still have I still have to get that done too, you know, but there's a waste like mitigate that do you think I should get a hair transplant? No, I think maybe like if you look like your dad later like and you have balding then yeah, but you're good for now really I'm kind of surprised how much hair my dad has. I mean, I don't know. Oh, you're good Dude mine was really bad. Yeah, mine was like yours isn't really giving like hair loss I don't think I have hair loss. I think I I think I say it because I just run out of topics to say But like I've been tracking it since I was 18 and it's why are you gonna get a new hairstyle? It hasn't moved Well when I get a new hairstyle yeah, well, I'm trying to lock in this deal for this hair loss serum Okay, and if we do the hair like my first video with the hair loss serum I want to be me shaving my hat. I feel like it'll do really well Right, and I just feel like that's like the perfect video to go tangent with like trying to promote something I make it do I said about nats tiktoks exactly I want the hair loss serum deal deal locked in so we can make some make some cash money you in Ryan You look a buzzed. No, it wouldn't look good. I think so buzz. You know Brian or lacquer Yeah, he's the guy who did the hair loss stuff in Chicago Someone said this please answer this question on the pod. This is crazy. I don't know if this person's okay What is your dream DUI? Location vehicle costume for example my dream DUI is at the Macy's Christmas period in Chicago in the Batmobile wearing a Jack Sparrow costume What I don't know I'm reading it not to answer the question. I'm reading it to be like Fuck kind of question is that what the fuck does that even mean? That's that kind of crazy now. It's tough when you open up your DM's you get a lot of crazy shit But is that kind of like what's your like? Well, that's a really interesting question because like makes you really think what the fuck is this person doing? Yeah, like it's almost like saying like what's your dream shooting? Yeah, like mine is like the Macy's pray Like it's like it's kind of weird. Yeah, that's a crazy question like shouldn't I shouldn't I should should I be reporting this person? Maybe I've never received a question like that in my life and it's had read it on the podcast like we're going to be like Oh, yeah, for sure in Vancouver After the 4th of July firework show and I'm done. I'm drunk off six fireballs. Did you see this world cup guy? No, okay. This is so interesting. Did you see this which I will there's so many well just see my DS Forgive me if I'm pronouncing his name wrong. He he plays for Cabo Verde um And he's a goalie, right and he like he blocked a lot of goals. I think it was against Spain. They played And and they like tied with Spain or something. I don't know that part of the story forgive me But he did a really good job as goalie and this just like paints the perspective of how big the fucking world cup is It's kind of crazy. He's at 50,000 followers. Yeah when when that game started and He did such a good job that when he got to the locker room After that game he had 500,000 followers like his his teammates were like you're up to 500,000 followers And then he was being interviewed after the locker room and the woman's like do you have any idea how many followers you're at And he's like they just told me I'm a 500 K. She's like no, no, no, no, you're a 2.9. Now. Oh my god Just from that moment and then I went to go check myself and A day later he was at 12.4 million 12.4 million getting over a million likes a picture like that's fucking that's how big the world cup is I mean, I know this is like so stupid and like dumb of me to even compare but I compare it to like love Island stars, right? Right like love like that's that is almost like the biggest overnight successes Yeah in in our world and like it doesn't even hold a light to it and it really is crazy like what kind of He just had a great game. I mean he's 40 years old and he just got like there was something where like he was Like just they just told him like okay, you're gonna be playing in this and he didn't really didn't think he was going to be at that Like age on the team and he's a keeper and he's a goalkeeper and he made like just incredible saves. Wow. Yeah, let me see And a game that they should they were like the underdog of all underdogs. Okay. Yeah, not now he's at 13.6 That's crazy. He's gonna use a 1.8 million likes of 2.1 million likes 2.1 million likes What does he post? He posted a picture of shoes got 1 million? It's just a picture of him 2.1 million likes. Oh my god 5.9 million likes is the picture of did they win that game? No No, but it was a big it was a big deal that they like that they blocked. I mean versus Spain is pretty crazy And they were like, I don't know what their ranking was, but they were definitely not ranked high in the tournament. - There was also a team that was, fuck, I'm so, I wish I got my facts right here. But there's a country that only has 160,000 people. And they were playing, I think Germany or Brazil or something? - Germany. - Germany, and they lost seven to one. But that one goal, like set the country on fucking fire. - Really? - Like yeah, like everybody was like, fuck yeah. 'Cause they're such a small country that they have, their country is as big as some of the stadiums. - Would you like to talk to someone who has honest feedback about the podcast and vlogs who lives in England in a little town and been a fan of vlogs since 2017? - You're jazz, yeah, put 'em on the call. - Sure. - Aaron? - Yes, I'm Jason. - Hi, how are you? You're on the views podcast. Guys, this is Aaron from England. He's been a fan since 2017. And he's got some feedback on the podcast and the vlogs. And Aaron, we wanna hear from you. - Okay, Aaron. - We've got Ilya, David, Natalie, and Jason, Aaron and Flores yours. - Nice to speak to you all, you guys. Yeah, I thought I'd just, yeah. To be honest with you, I was at the pool last night for the England game and I was pretty drunk when I sent that email out of the morning and I was really nervous when you called. So I was like, "What's going on here?" But no, yeah, been living the vlogs for a while was really, so I just wait when you guys stop, but I'm loving the new longer vlogs. I just like, I know you could go back and forward on the podcast all the time about what to do and stuff, but-- - You like the longer vlogs? - I love them, honestly. I watch all your Snapchat stories and the vlogs and it's just like, you remind me a lot of my friend group, like we all sort of similar vibe, like growing up together, everything like that and I think we would be exactly like you guys if we had the money so you're seeing, you live everyone else's dream within the friend group is really cool and seeing as a lot of that as possible is just nice to see. - And do you feel like David is spending too much money on these vlogs? - Yeah, yeah. (all laughing) - Explain to me which situations you were like, what the fuck, Dave? - I mean, just like the extreme display of wealth. So I'm like, I live in Newcastle, England, like the top of England and I make 30 grand a year and I think you'll spend that in like, what a morning? So what's your sling? (all laughing) - Exactly right, so like soon, I mean, I wish I could do it. I'd be such a dickhead if I had that money as well. I would pay for everything. So I don't want to fault you at all, living the dream really. - No, no, but explain to me, would it be better if, yeah, 'cause okay, yeah, can you expand on that more? I don't know, I kind of cut you off, but like. - Yeah, no, no, no, not at all. So like for me, like if I was to do that, I'd have to win the lottery to spend that type of money but sitting down every week, watch your 15 minutes of you, doing what every other guy in the mid '20s would do with that money 'cause when you see a lot of celebrities, it's more like reserved or the vloggers and stuff or she's like, that's like extreme out of touch, like I'll buy this mansion and this private jet and stuff. But when you, it's just like, yeah, spend it on experiences and good times with friends. So I like seeing, I like seeing that perspective and just exactly what any other guy with these best friends who just happened to come in the money would do. - Yeah, okay. Oh, keep going, I thought there's gonna be a bug. - Do you do, would you like to see him do more regular stuff? - I think it would be interesting to see him, like when he goes to, where's he can to like, what he does in his business life to see what he does because to me, I see you guys post a couple of snapshots and a couple of vlogs and then somehow molding millionaires, I just, I can't wrap my head around. So to get an understanding of where that comes from would be, would be cool. - Well, okay, so like, oh, 'cause we were talking about on the Pad the other day about how we should just do like a vlog of just like the work behind the scenes. - Yeah, yeah. - Well, I'll be interesting to think of to see. - But to still be fair, a lot of the money does come from what you're watching, right? Like that is like the bread and butter, it's not like Natalie and I are like, incredible space ex investors behind the scenes and like our investments are making so much money. Like it really is, a lot of the money is just from like, people watching and tuning in. But I do understand like what you say on like, it's just really hard. Like there's so little things that get people excited to like all come together. They're like a lot of times it needs to be like, we're doing this trip, we're like doing this experience. Like to get zane and heath or alia or anybody to leave the house or to like come together and do stuff, it has to be like this plant thing. Like we're leaving to go and do this thing for work. - Yeah. - So like, you're going to do this incredible thing. - Yeah, to do this really kick ass thing. So yeah, I do understand and it's not so like, we don't have everyone's doing their own things now that I don't fault them for like not just like coming by to film at the house, like sitting on the couch. I don't even know if that's what you're arguing. - I'm not arguing too. Like I honestly had watched if you put down a camera and you just filmed yourself a half and I would do an absolutely jacked shit. Like nothing, I'd watch it terrifically. So like when you put in all these, I thought in the videos and stuff, like it's cool. But I'd like, honestly if you uploaded a video of you sitting on the couch and just chatting, I'd probably watch that as well. Like I think you just such an interesting personality to get to know, whereas I'd watch you upload it. I'd watch you explain like aliens and stuff that you talk about on the podcast. So like I think like you in fact you read a lot of people that you speak to and people are just fussing out by you and your dynamic and things. So like these high production things, they seem like many movies, like watching all the music and the calculations and stuff. Or like in essence, like my favorite part is when there's like a 20 second gap and you're just talking and telling jokes. - Yeah, I definitely hear that. Okay, so you're not even saying like chill with the high production and high experiences. You're just saying don't be, I mean I'm like sweetening this up in a way, but like don't be afraid to just do the more like casual things. - Yeah, 100% because obviously like, I know you went back and forth on like every vlog needs to be like this big trip. And like if you just wanted to chill and like come and vlog around your house, I think it's still good for you and people would still be interested to be what to do is for you. I know Jason tells you that all the time, but I don't know. I think coming from someone who is so out of touch from the earlier, like I'm like in a run town in England, but like you've got supporters all over them. - But Aaron, you know you said you said that maybe you felt like he was a little out of touch, but then in the next sentence you were like, let's get a vlog from Khan, (laughs) which is the most opulent place you could go. So I think we're all in the same, what's that, Aaron? - 'Cause I can't, I wanna watch you out at such a long time, just not like everyone else who has that money, like he spends the money on things that I would, so it's like living by a carousel through it, because if I had millions of dollars, I would do exactly what David does. - Yeah. - Okay, so you used out of touch in like a positive way. (laughs) (laughs) - He's going, congratulations, you're out of touch. (laughs) I know, I know it's hard for me to argue this argument now, 'cause I'm sitting where I'm sitting, and like I'm very lucky to have this money, but I have the exact same viewpoint as you as a kid. And like that's why, especially me and my parents would differ on a lot of things, because my parents had a very grounded viewpoint, and I was always like, no, I was in high school with my friends, and I was always like, but I love watching this YouTuber. Like how does he have this money? How can he spend, that was always such a desire for me? And like I still have that exact viewpoint as I had a kid when I had no money, but now I get to act on it, and I get to do what those people that I loved so much, I get to watch that. Like I referenced this tweet from Tyler the Creator so much, and there was this one tweet where his mom was like, had spoiled milk in the fridge, and he was like, mom, throw the shit out, we're rich now. And I don't know, I thought that was such a funny comment, and I was like, I love a rich person that can share their experience of wealth, and I don't ever mean for it to like come off in like a pregnant or just, wait, I just like, I want it to come off and like, I get to do this now, because we got to make such fun stuff, and I could want to continue making fun stuff, but the newer fun stuff is a little more elevated 'cause that's kind of where we're at. But I get what you're saying, and I think me and you kind of think about things the same way, but I don't want to come off like an asshole. - You don't come off like an asshole. Like I say, I wouldn't use the word jealousy, but it's like you live in a lot of people in the like a lot of males in there, early to mid-20s dream. Just seeing that like, like I say, I'm only gonna get there if I win the lottery or something, so it's just like living like a reality through that. It's so cool to see it and everything that you put out, like it's just incredible. - But what can I ask why you say that? Why you say that you're only gonna get there if you win the lottery? - Well, like, I don't like it. I've living in like a small town in England, you got to say it's not London or something, like it's still a big town, but like I work in sales. So it's like, I'm maybe make a couple of grand a month, like on a good month, like maybe three, four grand a month, to like get into that realm. Like there's not really too much opportunity for people like me to go out there and get to that sort of level of sort of wealth really. - And what about the podcast? Anything we can be doing better there? (laughing) - I mean, I would love to be honest, I listen to it on the community. I know you, I don't hear something as strong I could buy it for a video, but. I listen to the community. I wouldn't get time to watch anywhere. I'm so more accessible forward to it. We got to go, man. Great talking to you and cheers from across the pond. And Jerry Aaron, we'll talk to you soon. Okay, Aaron, so you're saying no video pod. We don't need it. Yeah, no, no, we don't need it because I listen to the community. Like maybe if there's a time where I'm off work and I stick it on the TV or something like that, but like I wouldn't really get too much chance to watch it. So I like it, but no, I like, I love the podcast. I think it's probably like, I listen to it. I'd love five days a week, but I know you guys would be just to keep us under 10s. Five days a week is kind of interesting. That is interesting. I've definitely thought that before. I feel like there is like a world and for that to happen. That'd be crazy. I think you would run out of things to talk about. I mean, I think brother, we already run out of things. I've filled the same, I've filled the same high school sort of time. But I feel like I had no everything about disclosure day from the last five podcasts. Have you watched? Have you watched disclosure day? I haven't got the chance to go see it yet. I put after your review last episode, I don't know if I'll be making the trip. Okay. Well, listen, thank you for, thank you for hopping on. Yeah, Aaron, you're awesome, man. Thank you for the feedback. No, I appreciate you guys. Have a good one. All right, take care. Goodbye. I'd love to Aaron. I think British people are the best. Dude, isn't that so funny? You called him. Yeah. What's the reason you called him? Well, because it was because we called them because it was like David's out of touch. Well, yeah, right? Well, he offered to give us feedback. Yeah, but then it was funny how then it flipped completely against you. And he's like, no, dude, you should still be doing more of that. It's always that way. I want to see the trip from Can and then he was like, by the way, don't do the video pod. Yeah, I know what he's saying. The video pod, like the audio doesn't go away. The audio doesn't go away, but it ruins the audio. It's a completely different element. I don't know how you guys don't understand this. But once you do video pod, yeah, once you do video pod, it changes what we do here, completely, completely. You will, you will feel it. Even if we didn't tell, we should honestly have a room full of listeners not know if there's a video pod or not and just listen to one pod. And they'll be like, there's something off about this. And I think it'll be because we're on video. It's going to change completely. I'd rather go to four a week than do a video pod. Video pod is like the band in my existence. Yeah. Well, there you go. I'll keep, keep trying within kind. Yeah, I was going to say. I'll go back to the Indian restaurant. If you're out there in your restaurant anywhere in the country, get in touch. Be real. I ran into some fans here the day I had a crazy, I had two fan interactions within five minutes. Yeah. And they were both insanely opposite. We were down by the pier shooting a sea geek thing. His kid walks up to me. He's 15 years old, sweetest like fucking nice kid I've ever met in my life. He walks up and he goes, Jason Dash. He goes, I've been watching you since I was six years old. Oh, wow. He's like, wow. He's like, I've been watching you for nine years, but he was only 15. And I was like, wow. Javier is his name. And he was so kind. And he's like, I'm going to make videos one day. I'm going to get going. I'm going to be like, David, blah, blah, blah, blah. That was awesome. Then we see two girls who are like 30. That one doesn't go as well. They're like, hey, they're just like sitting on the cat. They're sitting on a bench. They're like, hey, Jason, like that. Then I go over and I'm like, hey, how you doing? I'm trying to be nice. I don't want to be the guy that's like too cool to stop and talk. So I go over and I'm like, hey, what are your names? And then, but I also can't hear his well anymore. So they're like, Jaina and Jaina and Reyna. And I'm like, Jaina and Reyna, and they're like, no, you got that completely wrong. And I was like, oh, what is it? And they're like, Dana and Spain, I don't know what their names were. And then it was just so awkward. And it was just like, you know, meeting somebody who's like in the 30s is not like meeting a kid who's like 15. You know what I mean? Really? It's so much easier to meet people in the 30s. I don't know. I'm actually, they're both. I just felt so awkward. I'm telling you, you just have a really weird panic about you. You think? Yeah, it's so interesting. I think meeting kids is definitely easier than meeting like adults. Meeting a kid is so much easier. I think they're, I think they're both equally like. Oh, kids are so, you could say anything to a kid. They don't give a shit. No, there's this weird thing to do. It's like, why did you just say? Why are you speaking to me? There's this weird thing. Like, are they in your head? You're like, are they like laughing at me? Like, do they think I'm like, kind of a joke? Or do they actually like me? You just don't know. And then when you start that, they were nice though. They said to Daveen. They're like, well, like when you're on the podcast, which was really nice. Oh, that's really cool. We appreciate it. Yeah, I, like, I was in traffic the other day. And these two kids walked up to me because they're crossing the street. Yeah. And they're like, are you a Tik Toker? Yeah. I have that happened to me a lot now. No, but my manager is like, yeah, I'm finished. I think I think I think I'm Natalie. I have that happened to me a lot now, which is really interesting. Like I was with Cindy. She was like, so many people are like recognizing you on the road because we're like driving around like cops would pull over or be like, what's up, Dave? But then a lot of people would, I was trying to explain. I was like, a lot of people like have just seen my face, but have no idea who I am. Right. Which is really interesting. I get that a lot. And she was like, these kids recognize you. I'm like, they're too young to watch. And I rolled my window down just to like interact with them. Yeah. And they're like, you're, are you a Tik Toker? I'm like, see, told you like that. Like it's really like it. That's really interesting now. It's so interesting. We were just talking about this. My friend, Jeff has a son and he, he like travels in like fancy circles. And he'll like, come home. Like, and he'll be like, and he'll be like, how was the party? It was like, it was good. They had a magician there. It was David Blaine. And it's fuck yeah. And Jeff's thinking like, oh, it's fucking, you know, tickles from Glendale because I'm clown or something. And he's like, David. And then another time he was like, yeah, there was like a, a singer there. -Cousin Aguilar. -No, it was Paul McCartney. And he's like, Paul McCartney. And Jeff's like, Paul McCartney was there. Like, what the fuck are you saying, dude? It's really funny. He's like, yeah, I don't know. That's really funny. Yeah. I love that. It's funny when celebrity just like, they mean something to you but not. I love that. I think that's like the coolest thing. Yeah. That's like the best part. Yeah. I guess it is. Especially like, it's like, that's such a funny thing to hear from your kids. And then you're freaking out of that. And they don't care. I mean, it's like so cool. It's like, wow. You know, it's story. I love, you know, Harry, Jowzy, and Gianni Palo. Yeah. Two guys that we know. Great guys. And they've, they tell this awesome story where Harry goes to like the Sabrina Carpenter show, right? And Harry's getting mobbed. Yeah. Like, fucking mobbed. No one gives a fuck about Gianni, who's on like a big show. Gianni's a big actor, whatever. And then like, can we explain who Gianni is a little bit more? Gianni's like, he's on power. Yeah. He's on the 50 cent show power as a dramatic actor. And he's like, stay strapped 100% of the time. Yeah. Change. Yeah. Wrap or vibe. Yeah. Yeah. So that's friends though, Harry and Gianni. But then two weeks later, they go to the Nellie show. Yeah. You know, which is a completely different audience. Yeah. No one gives a fuck about Harry. And Gianni's just getting mobbed like, like, like, like crazy. That's really interesting. Yeah. That is really, really interesting. Yeah. That's like when we were in Paris, we were in nightclub. It was very small club. It was like the size of two of my living rooms. And these girls came up to me. They're like, and Bob is here. And Bob is here. And I was like, what? Is that a, like, is that a rapper? And no idea. This is the first time I've ever heard of him, Bob. And like, he was the table right next to us. And like, people were really excited. Yeah. But he was like still like, now I know who he is. And like, now I kind of understand. No, no, now I fully understand what that is. I fully understand the excitement for him. But like, it was just so interesting at the time where I'm just like, oh, okay. Go on, Bob. But like, I felt like an 80 year old woman. Cause I was like, all right, totally get what these people are so excited. But like, did he have aura? I guess. No, he's he's actually like pretty like a, he looks like a guy next door type of guy, right? Like he doesn't like regular guy. He doesn't carry himself like an asshole. Yeah. He's very like, I'm assuming. Yeah, I'm assuming. Yeah. But yeah, that's like, that's always such a funny thing. And then you figure out who that person is over time. I love that. Oh, my favorite thing was remember, when we were meeting with like Nickelodeon. And we were like coming up with a show and we were like naming first guests. And the woman we were working with was like, she was like, let's get some first guests that are like attainable on the show. I don't know what the Nickelodeon show was, whatever. But we were planning it. And she goes, we could probably do Billie Eilish. And I'm like, oh, I'm not familiar. I had no idea who Billie Eilish was the first time I've ever heard her name. And it was like, I love those. And that was the week you could get Billie Eilish. And then a week later, you couldn't. I probably couldn't even get her in that moment. But it was just like, I love those moments where you first hear. I remember Alex Earl, like I remember hearing Alex Earl's name for the first time. And I was like, have you seen this Alex Earl girl? I love those moments. I don't know. Like discovering a person is like my favorite. And then you see him all the time. And you're like, wow, okay, now I get it. Then you really get it. And then you start yelling at people that don't get it. You're like, you don't know Billie Eilish. Even I've only known her for a week. I remember we went to a concert and we were all backstage. And Billie Eilish was there and took pictures with us like right before she was huge, huge, huge, huge. Oh my God. We were all there. It was down in the forum. And we got backstage. It was like a kid. I remember this. That's crazy. And they're like, "Oh, do you want to take pictures of Billie Eilish?" And I was like, "Oh, yeah, okay." (laughing) I don't know how that is, but yeah. - That's really funny. - And then the next week, my kids-- - I hope you didn't say, I don't know who that is. - No. - Okay, I was, of course I didn't say that. - I find that so rude. - Of course I didn't say that. - Like, when someone's asked me to take a picture with somebody. - Yeah. - I never, like, I think that's like the rudest thing to say. - No, no, no. - No, I know you didn't, I know you didn't, but like, people will do that a lot. Like, I'll see it on the other side, I don't care 'cause I'm like, I know, I've interacted with a thousand people that are like this, but like, you'll, it'll be like four kids, like in France, that'll really like me. And then two of them will have no idea who I am. - Right. - And then, and then the four kids will be coming over to take a picture, and then you always hear one could be like, "I don't know, I don't know who this is." Like, right in front of me, I'm like, "Okay, like, just, you don't have to say it." We're like, "Are you the pretend?" (laughing) I just find that, I find like, such an interesting comment. Like, "That's what moms do to me." - Yeah, yes, Paris love doing it. - Who is it? I don't know who you are. - It's different from a parent. I think it's like, we're from a kid, 'cause I'm just like, whatever. Just freaking, and there's been, there's been hundreds of times where I've been asked to take a picture with a rapper or a singer that I'm not familiar with. And I'm just like, "Fuck yeah, it's great." Like, I just play it up, like, who cares? - Yeah. - Like, just like, show that person some excitement. Like, it's not a big deal. - Yeah. - That's what I was trying to do with the peer. I was trying to show these two listeners some excitement. - But it freaked them out. - And it freaked them out. - Is there a grown-ups? - That's right. - They don't wanna fucking talk to me. - That's right. - I didn't know what level of interaction they wanted with me. - Are you seeing, one of my favorite things about the World Cup has been all the Europeans starting. - Oh my God, it's my favorite. - Like, liking America? - What do you mean? - Well, I don't know, as no one ever wanted to vacation to America, like, why are people all of a sudden like? - I don't think, I don't think-- - Has it been hard to get into the country and not everyone's getting visas approved because of the World Cup? We're like, what's going on? - I don't, I just, I'm sure people do vacation here. I think that it is also like, probably fairly expensive to come to America. - All these Europeans are making TikToks, being like America's fucking amazing. - Yeah. - They're like, look at all the food, free refills, and all the comments are always like, yeah, why do you think we're fat? - You think we're fat just for fun. And like, everyone's like, baffled by our stadiums. - Yeah. - They're like, what? And it's like, yeah, like, there's, we have stadiums for 100,000 people for high school football games. - Yeah. - Like, it is very baffling, I guess, if you look at it that way. And people are just like, it's really, really funny TikToks. - I mean, even just talking to Aaron from England, I could imagine like, the way he looks at America is probably just like, what? - Well, this was, I think we talked about this in the, when we were having our waivers meeting for our chip company, we were meeting with all these countries. Every country would be like, when we were referring to a product or like putting things into aisles or like, something something, they'd be like, well, we're not America, so we can't really do that. - Yes. - Like, they really did speak about the United States in a completely different way. I think I live, I live in the US, so a lot of the, the things I receive about the US or the US sucks. We do this, you know what I mean? Like, there's a lot, it's like, it's like being from a shitty hometown and being like, I gotta get out of here, like this hometown sucks. That's very much how I feel like, at least my for you page kind of attacks the United States. Like, this is a fucking, this, this is the top place to live, like period, like it really is like a really special place. And like, one of my favorite things is, have you seen Reagan's, Ronald Reagan does that? You can, you can be a, you can be a Japanese, you can move to Japan, but you can't be Japanese. You can move to Slovakia, but you can't be Slovak, blah, blah, blah, blah, but you can move to America and you could be an American. - Oh. That was something like that, I thought it was good, it's really fucking cool. Like this is like a, this is a melting pot of cultures, I think that's so kick ass. And it's unfortunate that a lot of times that's not recognized of like how either from politicians from the government or whatever, that we are really just like a bunch of cultures put together. But I think that's like so fucking kick ass. This guy had, this guy was talking about, this guy's name is Victor, this is a really interesting take on Fahrenheit beating Celsius, but I think the US gets temperature right. Yeah, I said it. After all this discourse about American heat, I'm now officially team Fahrenheit. Celsius is a, okay, which is so true. Like Celsius versus Fahrenheit, there's nothing better than Fahrenheit. Because these are some of the points he's making. He's saying like, yeah, water freezes at zero degrees for Celsius and boils at 100, right? That's what he says. He goes, but I'm not water like I need to know if I should put a jacket on, like I don't care when it's boiling, it's never going to get there. Like I just want to know like 70, 65, should I be putting a sweatshirt on, like that makes so much more sense. Right. It's really interesting. And he's like, he's like, I'm just ending this debate right now, Fahrenheit takes the kick. You're on the Fahrenheit side. I guess. I think I've been on the Fahrenheit side for a while. Now, I've never really understood Celsius. I think you need more numbers to like really get into like exactly the right temperature. Because there's a big difference between 69 and 73, like a big difference. And it's Celsius. Five podcasts a week. That's only one. Why? This is what I'm breaking down. And for our fifth podcast, David's going to break down the metric system. I don't know. Listen. I'll see you soon. Very nice. Whatever. All right, guys. God. Thank you guys for listening. Thank you for joining us. And we will see you guys here for the next one, which will be on Tuesday and after Toy Story.

Summary:

FAQs

They believe it's a significant event, comparing it to putting gas in a car, as it requires a major investment of time and energy, much like a trip to the movies.

David says watching vlogs, especially for extended periods, takes more time than typical work tasks, and he sees it as a valuable use of time that fuels their creative energy.

John changed his and Julia's anniversary to September 11, believing it would save money on airline tickets. This is seen as strange because it completely redefines a personal celebration in a way that seems financially driven and not meaningful.

John watered the entire pickleball court, which had already been heavily damaged and was supposed to be ready for play, adding unnecessary work and causing delays for the game.

Aaron, a person from a small town in England with modest income, feels that David’s extravagant spending and lifestyle don’t reflect the reality of most people, especially those with limited financial means.

Aaron suggests more casual, everyday vlogs—like sitting on the couch and chatting—would be more relatable and engaging than high-production, travel-heavy content.
