I Found Out

Philippians chapter four, real quickly. Let's set the frame here for where we're going to go today. How many people need peace in their life? How many people need peace? Yeah, come on. We need the peace of God in a world full of problems. Amen. And so I believe the Lord's going to speak to us about that. And Paul is writing a letter, the Apostle Paul, Philippians chapter four. And he says, "I rejoice greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it." He says, "I'm not saying this because I am in need right now, but I have learned to be content whatever the circumstance. Whew. We're learning, y'all. We're learning." I know what it is to be in need and I know what it is to have plenty. See, a lot of people don't realize that you still need God when you have a lot. Mm-hmm. He says, "I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want." And then the verse that's on everybody's Instagram bio, "I can do all things through him." Who gives me strength? Come on, we all know that. I want to preach today for the next few hours. Just kidding. I only have to this time to get out of here. Around this subject. I found out. I found out. Let me pray for you, God. Speak to us today. We're listening in Jesus' name. Somebody said him in. You can have your seat. Take your seat. I found out that with God things are not shortcuts, but they take a long time. I found out with God that the process is so important to him. The things that you go through are so important to him. I found out that I'm not always great in my faith because I like shortcuts. I like shortcuts. I found out that the people in our society and our culture, we like the secrets, the hacks, the shortcuts to get things done. I see people selling all kinds of shortcuts on Instagram and the internet and trying to convince people that you can circumvent a process. But God in His mercy doesn't let us get a quick hit. He makes us learn what it's like to follow Jesus. Can anybody testify to this? We don't just show up to Jesus and everything is just disappeared and everything is good and they're sunshine and rainbows and we're all moving to Palm Springs and we're going to do everything that we want to do. No, no, no, no. That's not how it works. No, with God it takes time. It takes producing things in your life. The problem is, is the culture that we live in today wants to sell us peace in a moment. But I found out with God peace comes in the process. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Peace comes in the process. Peace is not automatic. Peace is learned. The secrets are not always shortcuts. We like secrets because we want to find man, what's the secret? How did you get a six pack? I want to know. Tell me. Tell me. Because we think you do three setups. We look in the mirror there. Where is it at? Why don't we have a six pack? I best press 55 pounds. Why don't I have pecs? Why is it not working like that? And I found out if you talked to anybody who has a six pack that's like, oh, I didn't get this overnight, baby. Uh-huh. Amen. Right there. That was good. I appreciate that. If you got a six pack, you should be proud of that because it tells me this, you've got discipline. Which is a cuss word in church. You know that? Because we want God to just wave His hand over our problems and we be good. Come on, talk to me, somebody. Talk to me, somebody. We don't want to do the process. We just want it to work out because God can do anything. We want Him to do everything. We want God to just show up. Wave His hand on my pain and my pain just disappear. And by the way, I'm not making light of pain. We all have painful situations. There's things you're carrying today that nobody else knows that you're going through. God knows what you're going through. But I came to tell you today, God doesn't want peace for you when you get out of this situation. He wants to come in. He wants to experience peace for you in the situation that you're in. And I found out with God that the secret to peace is not a shortcut. Yo, I look for coupon codes for everything. Can we all agree? It's way too expensive to live in 2026. I mean, come on. Come on. Come on. We need the secret to these gas prices. I don't know what is going to be, but we need the secret. We got to find out because we are paying all this money on all this kind of stuff. So I will look for coupon codes. I'll find old web pages and they'll say this expired three years ago. I don't care. I'll try it. If it saves me 50 cents, I'm good with that. The God still does miracles. I will take my 50 cents and I'm good. But there's no coupon code for my faith. There's no coupon code for having more the ability to be content in my life. I can't just type in a number. I can't just type in a phrase. Peace. And it just shows up. Peace is not a pop-up. It's produce. It doesn't just pop-up. It doesn't just show up. When I got married, that didn't just mean I had a good marriage. I've got to build my marriage. Hello. When you had kids, they weren't just angels. And if you think they are, it tells me you didn't have kids. I love my son, but I didn't have to teach him to get mad at me. He just gets mad at me. He just tells me how he feels. And he's one and a half. He can't even tell me. He just goes, eh. And I'm like, okay, you're just trying to articulate. I get it. So I need to have peace so that I don't kill my son, right? This is good. This is good. What I'm trying to say round about way is peace. There's no shortcut to it. There's no shortcut to learning to be content in every circumstance. And that's what Paul is talking about in Philippians chapter 4. He's saying, I have learned the secret in being content. But I didn't show up. And here was contentedness. I didn't just start following Jesus and here was contentedness. How do I know? Because Paul is writing this in a prison cell. And most of us, we might not experience a physical prison, but we all live in invisible prisons. The prison of being affirmed by everybody. The prison of having some influence over some people. The prison of our bank account that determines our happiness. Oh, I'm preaching better than you're talking to me. These are prisons that we live in. But Paul said, I'm not concerned about the prison. I still got peace. Why? Because he found out that peace is experienced, not explained. Peace is something that you arrive at via the process of life. You don't just get to wave your hand and get peace. Because see the problem is some of us think if we just prayed more, we'll get peace. And you're wondering when I prayed about this. I've prayed about this. Yeah, you need to stop praying about it and you need to do something. You've prayed about it long enough, have that hard conversation. You've prayed about it long enough, change the school that your kids are at. You've prayed long enough, and if you don't feel it yet, take a step. Why? That's the process. The process is not a cheat code, it's not a coupon code. You can't get a discount on this. You've got to pay full admission. See the double? Ooh, from the very beginning has been trying to get you to pay twice for what Jesus already paid for. Y'all I'm preaching good. In the very beginning, those of you that are not familiar with Bible, let me tell you, in the very beginning, Adam and Eve are in the garden and God creates them and he tells them, "I made you in my image. I made you like me. I made you with everything that I got you have." And he says, "All I need you to do is honor me in this space because you love me, you'll obey me." Jesus says, "And God says the same thing. Will you listen to what I'm saying? You can do whatever you want, but do not eat from this one tree. Do not participate in this one tree." And the enemy, the devil, the one who hates your soul, the one who hates your life, shows up to Adam and Eve. I said, "Did God really say all that?" They hear really say, "If you eat from this one tree, just this one tree, really God's going to give you everything but not this one tree." What, teaching them to believe that lack is a bigger problem than having everything that you need in God. So what happens is, he says, "Did he say that if you eat that, you'll die?" And they're like, "Yeah." And God is not a man that he should lie. So the devil said, "Well, you won't die, you'll just become like him." How many of you know? It's crazy for somebody to tell you something. You already, no, no. You already should know this. Adam and Eve, you should already know. God told you I made you in my likeness. I made you just like I am. And they believe that they don't have something that they already have. And I believe we're doing the same thing with our own lives. I often pay a price for something that Jesus already paid for. He already paid for my peace. He already paid for my consentment. He paid for me to be good. Listen to me, friend. You can be good where you're at today because you don't need to get somewhere to find peace. You can have peace, right? Where you are. I'm preaching good and I'm trying to tell you this, that God will meet you where you're at. Oh, come on, give God praise for that. He'll meet you where you're at. And Paul says, "There's a secret, but I didn't listen to a lecture to get it. I learned it through life." You don't need more education. You don't need more information about God. You need to watch this, trust his character. Seek his face, experiencing him on a relational level and a lot of us grow up in religious cycles and religious systems. And we think we need to know more about God, do more for God, perform for God, but you don't need to perform for God. You just need to practice with God. He never wanted you to work your way to Him. That's why he sent Jesus. Hello? He said, "You can't." And yet here we are. Oh, I love this illustration. It's like a treadmill. I'm not going anywhere. You can pick the speed up. You can pick the incline up. Watch this all too simulate, but not really get anywhere. And most of us get on the treadmill of chasing peace. Woo. I'm looking forward over here. Well, finally, this dude, no, it's the same dude. He's got a different name, but you're dating the same dude. Like, we got to figure this out. It's the same dude, different name. Different name. We are chasing the same things looking for the same thing. Oh this job is going to fix this. The job can't fix you. The relationship is. You can't fix you, you can fix you. You can change you, not by your own strength, but in partnership with God. I'm talking about peace. You need peace in your life, and there's no shortcut to it. You don't get to prescribe the peace. Like those text messages you opt into. I want these marketing emails. I do not. I do not. Because then I can't find my real emails that I need. I got text messages on my phone, and I feel like sometimes with God, that's what happens in trials, in tribulations, in situations that come across my way. And I'm like, "God, I didn't opt in for this." Yeah, he said, "Yeah, you did. You checked the box." When you said yes to me, you said no to you. That's part of the deal. But unfortunately, we preach to Jesus. Come to Jesus! Woo! That's great! Well, it is. But it's not an external thing, it's an internal thing. The reason Jesus can change my life is because this world is crazy, y'all. It's crazy. And if you don't know, you need to get on the internet. Because it's crazy. It's crazy. You don't know how to tell people to get off the internet. But if you don't know, it's crazy on these streets. You're missing it. And I can tell you something. I'm not surprised when the world is world. I am surprised when people who say they follow Jesus, y'all don't want this. I am surprised when people who say they follow Jesus are shook by people who don't know Jesus, looking like they don't know Jesus. And I want home church to be a place that says, "No, we're the people of God. We're not going to do it the way everybody else does it. We're not going to experience it the way everybody else experiences it. We have the peace of God because we know the person of God. We're not going to look like the world. I'm not going to seek affirmation from those things. I'm going to protect my peace. Come on, we got to find a way to protect our peace. And that's what Paul says in Philippians 4, verse 7, at the beginning of this little place that I want to walk through really quickly today. He says, "It is the peace of God and it surpasses your understanding." So if you're waiting on an explanation, friend, unfortunately I got a word from you, just keep waiting. You're not going to get an explanation from God. You'll get an experience with God. And nobody can take your experience. If I can talk you into something, I can talk you out of it. Oh, but if somebody has an experience. Oh God brought me through when I had nothing. Oh God, heal my son when he was sick. God showed up when my prodigal was praying for for 15 years and then he finally found God again. When you have an experience with God, oh I feel the Holy Ghost, nothing can take that from you. Because God is in the inside of you. He's in your situation. He doesn't have to get you out, friend. God can come in. So real briefly, three things I want to show you today. I want to talk about the choice for a second. The choice. The choice. Paul offers the Philippians a choice. And he tells them whatever is noble, whatever is right, I love this in verse 8. Whatever is worthy, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable. If anything is excellent, think about such things. He's trying to help them see. It's in how you think. That's how you live. Isn't it funny? We got like a bunch of investigators. We're all pulling the magnifying glass out, looking to figure everything out. If you're looking for problems, you'll find them. If you're looking for a reason to stop coming to this church, you'll find one. If you're looking for a reason to see your marriage fall apart, you'll find one. If you're looking for a reason to say why this job is the worst one but the next one will be better, you'll find one. But it works both ways. If you're looking for something that's worth spending your time in and you're looking for a church to get connected to, you'll find it here. If you're looking for a community that you don't have, you'll find it here. It is an investigation and we all have this word bias. Bias. Oh, it's easy for me to see everybody else's flaws. But what did magnifying glass have to me? You gonna see, I'm just as broken. I'd need Jesus just as much. But if you're looking for a reason to critique somebody, you'll find one. But if you're looking for a reason to champion someone, you could find that too. What am I trying to say? I'm trying to say every coin has two sides. You can look at the glass and see half full or half empty. The choice is yours. You can make a choice. Because a choice dictates how you live. The Old Testament, they had the Ten Commandments. Y'all know the Ten Commandments? It's the OG rules from God. And the rules were established to help them live free. Not get free, live free. The Ten Commandments showed up after God, God is people out of slavery and they were living free. And he gave them these rules, so live free. But Jesus shows up on the scene and he basically tells them all these rules and reminds them, "Hey, you know this, you say don't murder, you say don't commit adultery, you say all this stuff which is so funny. Jesus hilarious because he said it. He's saying to them, you say, but it was his idea to begin with because God is Jesus and Jesus is God. And this is anyway." But he's saying it to these people and he's telling them you say that if you murder, then that is against God. But I say if you have hate in your heart, you've already killed them. Oh, Jesus was just levy and gooey and made me feel good. No, he did it. Savage Jesus is what I call him. Savage Jesus. Why? He was trying to tell you this. If you think a certain way, if you think with hate in your heart, that will happen. You'll kill somebody eventually because the way you think dictates how you believe and how you believe dictates how you decide and how you decide is how you live. That's why it blows me away when people say it was a one night stand about relationships. How did you? No, no, no. You made a thought. The thought was entertained. The entertained part got you to an action and the action got you to a decision. And there's no shame if that's your story. God wants to heal that. But what I'm trying to say is this. We often say this. Where did this come from? I could tell you a thought. The way you think dictates how you believe which dictates how you decide and how you decide is how you live. And Paul was saying whatever's worthy think of that. Because if you want to find peace in a problem-filled world, it's how you think. Are you looking for peace or are you looking for problems? You'll find one or the other. Are you looking for God or are you looking for the devil? It's a decision and a choice that we must make. But I came to tell somebody that it's worth looking through it through the lens of what God says over what you see. Because there's a time in the Bible that spies going to the land to get the promised land that God was giving his people. And they weren't going to just inherit it. Because hear me when God gives you something, he prescribes you to a program. Oh, come on, y'all. God doesn't just let it happen. He doesn't just say, "Hey, you're going to be blessed." He shows you how to live a blessed life. He'll just give you stuff. He gives you hard work. He gives you people. Hello. Hello. That's why you got to get in the home group. Because people are people and we got to get better at people and together. Hello. So you need to figure that kind of thing out. But he's prescribing this and these Israelites, they are stepping into the promise but they've got to conquer the people that are living there. Because you don't just get what God gives you, you have to take it. You have to go get it. And these spies, a bunch of them were sent out to go check out the promise land and all of them come back. And most of them say, "Oh my gosh, we can't have this. There are giants in the land. God said he was going to give us this. But all I see is giants. In their eyes, we're probably grasshoppers." The OG preachers, they use the G letter and a G letter. There's giants and there's grasshoppers. They're the giants. We're the grasshoppers. But there were two spies. Two spies named Joshua and Caleb. And they came back and they said, "I'm not concerned about a giant when I've got a God who can talk to this giant." And they said, "We see the situation, but the situation is already dealt with. God said we're going to have this. So we're going to take this." It's kind of like David who runs out to a field. He's a big giant named Goliath and says, "I'm not concerned about a giant. I'm concerned y'all are letting him talk to God like this." And he takes a stone and he throws that stone and he kills a giant. And most of us would have just prayed for that giant. Well Lord, if it's in your will, the change is hard. Sometimes the thing that's blocking you's got to be brought down. It's a choice that you make. It says, "For me in my house, the world will not disciple my children. We will. For me in my house, the enemy doesn't get to do what he wants to to my kids. We're raising them in the house of God. We're making a commitment to raise our kids in the church because Jesus is worth investing in. There's a world out there that could kill everything else. But when you've got Jesus, that's all you need. Oh my goodness. And it sounds cute, but it's a choice. And the choice we often make, unfortunately, is the chase. Let me talk about the chase for a quick second. The chase is the treadmill. I'm looking for it. I'm getting out of breath. And how many of you know when you're tired you make bad decisions? Oh come on. When you go to a sporting event and you're like, "I don't want to spend all this money, but you need some water?" You'll spend $15 on a water bottle and they ain't no business spending $15 on a water bottle, but you're tired and you're thirsty so you make a bad decision. Hello. So what I'm saying is the chase happens and that's what Paul was writing against. He said, "Now whatever you've heard from me, I need you to put it into practice." I need you to put it into practice. Whatever you've seen, whatever you've heard, and you've received from me, Paul tells these Philippians, "Put it into practice." He's writing to a church that needs hope and he says, "Put it into practice." And what he's trying to tell them is you can serve the God of peace, but you don't get the God of peace until you get the God of practice. And when I'm talking about the game, we're talking about practice. We're talking about practice. We're talking about putting things into practice. We're talking about doing the thing that God has called you to do. I love what he says. He says, "When you do all of these things, whenever you've learned, whatever you've seen and you put it into the practice, then the God of peace will be with you." So you don't get pissed? peace until you learn to practice. It's like you can go to class but fail the course, right? Just because your butt's in a seat doesn't mean you learn in anything. Some colleges have to literally give you points for showing up to class. But just because you showed up doesn't mean that you're seated. Isn't that crazy? You could come to church. Oh. And you could hear good sermons. And you can experience God's presence in a worship song. But if you've made up in your mind, you've got no interest in changing your life you won't. Well, I don't trust people. And that's fine. I'm not making light about experiences. I've had my fair share of them. What I'm saying is this is Jesus more worth than your bad experience. Because if Jesus is more worth it to you than your bad experience, you will try again. You will put it into practice. And then the God of peace will be with you. Because Paul is writing from prison. I mean, that's crazy. How could he be in prison and be living in freedom? Jesus was free in his heart. He's writing in prison to people who aren't telling them, I'm good, y'all. Crazy. I'd have been like, no, you're not good. You lying. I don't-- we don't play like that. You're just capping with me. That does not make sense to me. You're good. You're good. We've got some trials, Paul. You're in prison. He's like, I'm good. Well, because he made a choice that in his mind he's going to think of the things lovely, the think of things, no. We're not delusion, faith. He decided I'm not going to chase what everybody else is chasing. Paul lived that way. If you don't know, Paul was killing Christians, seeking enlightenment, seeking education, following God's word, but not following God's ways. He was chasing. And so then God put him in some chains. That's the last thing I want to talk about, the chains. Chains. Because the chains is what proves you've got peace. Paul's in prison, but free. Paul's in jail, but free. And he tells them, I'm glad you were concerned about me. But I'm not saying this verse 11, because I'm in need for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned. Ooh. He said, I didn't just get this. I learned the secret of being content in every situation. Whether well fed or hungry, he's saying this. If you're successful, you still got to steward. See, it's easy for us to get all excited about God to meet us in the low places, but don't forget God in the high places. Don't forget God's the one that seated you in that high place. Don't forget God's the one that gave you influence. Paul says, I had influence, and it wasn't enough for me. I had to find out the secret. The secret wasn't the stuff. It was the source. It was God. And that's why he said, I can do all this through him, who gives me strength, other translations. I can do all things through Christ, who gives me strength. We put it in our Instagram bio, we put it on our sneakers, and we use it to try to get on the voice when we can sing. Oh, God said, I can do all things through Christ. That's not what the context is. How many no context is important? Nobody understands your life till they've got context for it. You ever go off on somebody, and then you find out they were having a bad day, and there was one text message that set you off, but they were having a bad day and now you feel it just becomes this whole mess? Why? Because context is important. So I'm not saying don't use Philippians 4/13 as a faith verse, but the verse was not about you finding out your enough. Paul wrote this in a prison cell, because he said I found out he was enough. Yeah, see, because a lot of us slap God on whatever we're doing and hope we'll get peace. I can do all things through Christ, who's strength is me. He does not need you running yourself 16 different ways from Sunday trying to prove to the little child inside of you that you're still worth it. Let me fix that. Stop trying to get on the treadmill, chasing everything of affirmation. Let me fix that. Let me bring you peace. You don't have to get out of this. Let me come into this. And how do I know that? Because Paul is writing this letter in Philippians chapter 4. But Paul is in a prison cell on this day. And as I was thinking about this message, I was like, "Man, well Paul's in prison a whole bunch of times in scripture. If you don't know, go read Acts, this guy, he gets shipwreck, he gets bitten, he gets bruised. Man has a snake come out of a fire and bite his arm in a nation where they don't even speak his language. He gets bitten, he heals himself, prays for God to heal him, heals himself, turns it into an illustration, preaches the gospel, thousands of people get saved." This guy's crazy. He's crazy. But he finds himself in prison time after time after time. Again, in Acts chapter 16, you might be familiar with this passage, but there's a story of a man named Paul and a man named Silas. And they're in prison. And I was also thinking about this message. I was like, "Man, Paul. Paul kind of had like a time share in prison. I wonder if he was paying for this. Because this boy spent a lot of time there." And I'm like, "How can you Paul sit here in a prison cell writing Philippians chapter 4? How can you do this?" Because in Acts chapter 16, Paul and Silas are arrested for a good thing. It makes sense to get locked up for a bad thing. But y'all, if you follow Jesus, you're gonna get locked up for a good thing. You're gonna have people accuse you of stuff. Because that's what's gonna happen in a world that doesn't want God. So you gotta be okay with that. Paul finds himself in prison being accused for good things with Silas. And instead of waiting for God to get them out, they invite God to come in. Ooh! They start singing. They start singing, "God, I look to you." Just like we did this morning. I won't be overwhelmed. They're in a prison cell. They start singing. The Bible says, "Insutably, the sound of an earthquake comes." Not a hurricane, shout out to y'all, but an earthquake. And it breaks the chains. Not just of Paul and Silas, but of everybody. Because you can experience the provision of God via proximity. Oh, come on. If you don't have faith, get around somebody who does. That's why church is important. We're not here to just sink whom by God, put some money in a bucket and pretend like we're cool. No, we're here. Because if you don't have it someday, you need to get around somebody who does have it. And when you get in a place like that, anything can happen. These guys all get free. And there's a jailer in that prison. And he looks at them and he says, "I don't, I never seen this." He says, "I'm killing myself because y'all about to get me in trouble." And Paul says, "Don't kill yourself." And he says to God who loves you, he preaches the gospel to him, "This guy gets saved." And was crazy to me, "Oh, I'm gonna tell y'all this, you're gonna like this." That prison, where that guy gets saved, is in no city other than Philippine. The city Paul is writing this letter to. Years before, they saw Paul in a prison in change, broken down, hurting, preached the gospel, praised God in prison, see everybody gets set free. The reason this church exists that he's writing to, that Paul is writing to, is 'cause that jailer got saved and he planted a church. He's writing to people who know Paul isn't blowing smoke. He's not blowing smoke. He's saying, "I have learned the secret to being content." And I gotta show you this verse as I close. Because as soon as he tells the jailer, "Don't kill himself." They stay. They want to release and watch this in verse 35, Acts 16 in the back. When it was daylight, the magistrates sent their officers to the jailer with the order, released those men. And the jailer told Paul, "The magistrates have ordered that you and Silas be released." Now you can leave, and the jailer says to them, "Go in peace." But Paul said to the officers, "Ooh, savage Paul." They beat us publicly without a trial, even though we are Roman citizens. And then they threw us into prison. And now do they want to get rid of us quietly? Oh, and then look at this word. No. Let them come themselves and escort us out. Paul has a free pass to get out of prison. That's what they were there for. To preach the gospel and get out. But Paul, if he was standing here today, I think he would wanna tell you, I found out something. 'Cause the jailer told him to go in peace. Paul said, "You can't give me something I already got." You can't tell me to go in peace? I got the God of peace. You can tell me to go in peace, but out of fact, I'm not ending this right here. I'm gonna stay in my cell a little bit longer and let that devil know that's been bothering me. You can come talk to my face, because I found something out. I've learned the secret to be content. I can have a lot and I can have a little, but I can do all this through Christ who's shranked His meat. The peace isn't in a place, it's in a person. It's in a person. Go ahead and stand to your feet. I'm done. Matter of fact, if you stand, I'll stop. God of peace. Is this making sense to anybody today? Is this helping you? The God of peace doesn't wanna get you out. He wants to come in. That's what I came from, Pessoa Vainey, to tell you. I found out God doesn't wanna get you out. He just wants to come in. You can be okay right where you're at right now. I know that's hard to hear some of you, you're carrying heavy things, but you can be okay where you're at. You don't have to get there to experience peace. Ask God to come in here, but there is no shortcut to this process. Peace is not found, it's formed. It's formed. That's why you get around somebody who's been walking with God for a really long time, and they go through some crazy hard things, and they're still smiling about it, and it's not fake, it's like a real thing. You're like, what? They're like, I found out. I found out everything in this life is temporary, but my relationship with God will get me through when I can't get out. God, I'm closer, I just wanna pray for you. If this were just for you, you don't have to raise your hands bully, but just slip 'em out in front of you like you're about to receive. I just wanna bless you. If you're carrying stuff today, maybe you've been chasing, maybe you're in trouble. change, maybe you just need to make better choices. Whatever it is it got speaking to you. I just want to pray for you really quickly and then I'm out of your way. But God wants to meet you in this place. The God of peace wants to comfort you. The Holy Spirit in Bible is described as the Comforter. He is the one of peace. But peace is coming without understanding. It's just coming to your heart. So Father right now you see your people. Those far from you, those close to you and everywhere in between. God today I'm asking that your spirit of peace would come upon them. Father that is not something that they got to chase and seek out and try to get a firm by by somebody else or chase out in the secular environments in a secular world. But God you want to meet them right with their act. So God I'm asking today that that you show them by this word. Father that you sent a random guy from PA to come down and preach a word that they would hear that there's peace that could come in their life right here in this day. Those that came in today God struggling to breathe because I've been hit so hard by life. God ask your peace comes right now. Holy Ghost I've released your proximity from me. If they don't have faith for today God I'm asking you to use my faith for. God I pray through their home groups through their community. God this will be a house that says we don't need to look to the left or to the right. We're keeping our eyes fixed. We're thinking about the things admirable. We're thinking about the things worthy and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts in Christ Jesus. So strengthen your people today. God I love them you love them more. Father I pray that the stories of your peace will flow in their homes this week. God as they step out on your word not wait. Not wait just wasting away but wait with faith. The things that they're believing for God I pray you help them to keep believing. God you're smarter you're wise or we don't want to take the short cut we're trusting your process. We receive this free gift today of your peace in Jesus name. Amen.
