The first is that this, you know, incident, which they say they didn't know about, where they were like stealing money from, like, literally influencers. Like, if I give you an affiliate, they, their bug, like, it was on iPhone only. So basically, this little period of time was only over the course of the 2025 holiday season, which is like the highest time for online shopping. But also, it was then they cut it off in like January, 2026. And that's when they pitched all those investors, the celebrity investors, with those numbers. So like, literally, that's also fraud to your investors, like, shopping around fake numbers. Yeah. So like, I wonder what Mindy Kaylee, Alex Earl has to say about it, you know? Yeah. It's really crazy. And then also, like, of course, Alex Cooper's involved. So basically, Tee, thank you to the girl who recapped it. I'm so sorry I forgot your name, but she did, like, a full. Like, she's like a real, like, tech founder, content creator. Basically, this woman, who was like the president of honey, you know, honey, the browser extension, which I love, also went through a little bit of a scandal where they were like stealing influencer affiliates. Like a bunch of influencers actually sued them, like a bunch of YouTubers. Still, I'm going in court case, according to my TikTok re-capper. But the woman who was a president of honey, at the time, she's now with Unwell. And she, like, introduced the burnouts. And like, she was the reason why they had a podcast on. So literally, all roads lead back to Alex Cooper. But like, they're saying it's very nefarious. How did they know that? It was a big headline, by the way, when that Unwell Executive was hired. Okay. Because she's like this big way, her name is Joana. I actually remember the headline about it. And I'm like, oh, that's cool. Like. But how did they know they introduced. Oh. To feed you. I think it was, like, mentioned in an article. Like, it's not a secret. Okay. Oh, sorry. And she's also on the board of fear. Sorry. I forgot that. So she's on the board of fear. She's a new president while she connected them. So there's just like a lot going on over there. It's very interesting. Because when I was thinking about it, I was like, this is just like a blip on the radar. No, actually what the girl of my recap video said. Not only it's like, it's such a big deal. It's actually a bigger scam than what Honey went through. And Honey's is still an active. Yeah. Because actually a judge throughout the YouTuber's claims, being like, listen. No, but also if I remember correctly with Honey, like they would find you codes. So they would find influencer codes. And actually. And that's okay. So what the lawsuit was, is that like this YouTuber realized, he was like, I'm sending people to an affiliate link. And if those people have the Honey browser extension and then also click. Like, yeah, sure, give me a code. The influencer's affiliate gets wiped out. Honey is the last person to affiliate. And so the judge was like, listen, that sucks. But the user is actively making the choice to click on Honey. So you're just kind of getting screwed. So the YouTubers who had sued are now suing again for just like, not for money, but like for wrongful, whatever. They should explain, come in. Yeah, there should be something. Come in for everybody. She was explaining my TikTok recap. Like whoever is the last tag on the link for Affiliate, whether it's the influencer, whether it's Honey, whether it's Fiya. But Fiya, what they were doing was even worse. Because they were opening a second tab in the background and embedding it on your phone forever. Like it wasn't just this one purchase. It was like all future purchases on this website. So what my recap I was saying, this is actually a worse scandal. Oh, okay. So it's not just a small cookie. Plus the defrauding of the investors. Celebrity A-listers. That's really crazy. Oh man. Because they started their big celebrity roundup right after they had these stellar numbers from the holiday season. Interesting that they stole them. Yeah. They stole their stellar numbers. So we will keep you abreast as a leading news source on the Fiya scandal. What are you? We'll be keeping her foot on the neck. On the neck of female founders. As a female founder myself, I just expect more from my fellow female founders. There have been times where I have wanted to buy podcast reviews or buy followers. Like, sorry. It's a meritocracy out here. Like if no one shows you, which I've heard also, it's a terrible browser extension from people who use it in earnest. They were like, they were never getting what I wanted. It's like, they're showing you where you can get this H&M shirt. Like second hand. It's like, well, I knew I could get this H&M shirt second hand. Like I wanted a new shirt. Yeah. You know? Yeah. So just like at functionality, I don't think it was like super helpful. Got it. But this energy isn't just reserved for female founders. It can just be like, humans, you know? Interesting point. You know what I mean? I feel like you're tough on the men too. Of course I am. Of course I am. It's not even, I'm not, I don't have a preference on like men or female founders. Like I'm tough on everyone. But like, if you're going to be like a nepo billionaire, like getting into the founder's space, like you are held to a higher standard. So it's for nepo founders? Definitely. Nepo female founders. I'm obsessed with like nepo flops. And I would consider Sophia Gates now to be a nepo flopper. Still not her name. To have all the. Still not her name. Okay, I guess someone who's like on the fence, I guess I'll wait to see like what the issues are. But as always, I tried to, you know, choose a wide range. Light, dark AI, mother and wife. Well, we're back on schedule. Oh, did you do anything productive with your night off? No. I laid in bed, me in bed, like, the talk, we were just like, we were talking the whole time, but like how amazing it was that like, we were not watching live island. And we just like, we're watching funny videos. Like, it was just like, it was one of the most amazing nights I've had in a while. That's great. I did something crazy. I started. A book? You know, like, El is with fault. And in the movie, she's actually without fault. She's a perfect character. Like, I'm saying you hate it, Elve. I didn't hate her, but like, I wasn't rooting. I'm like, you're wrong in that situation. You shouldn't just go up to like the senior girls and try and sit and have lunch with them. Like, they don't want to sit and have lunch with you. Like, I got down. That's crazy. I'm your first obstacle. And she's a junior. And she's like, where do the cool seniors sit? Like, girl, are you so shallow? Check yourself. Elves always had a heart of gold. She wouldn't never. It's true. And also, I had seen clips like surfacing that really say my different me that I wasn't going to watch it because, um, I don't know if you've gotten there yet, but there is a love interest in the show. And it's like, he's this like sort of troubled youth. He's like a skater. Oh, he's a skater who crashed into her mom's car. And has a locker next to her. It's because it's really goth looking. But then she also crashed into a boy like in the gymnasium. And I think like, he seems really sweet. Yeah, I think that like, does she have the two? Yeah, and I think she's like toyed between the guy she actually likes, which is like the skater, who's like the opposite of Elves like us that. Got it. And he was like, definitely. It's so calming the show by now. Yeah. Yeah. No, he was going to see your girls were like, Yeah, right? She moves to Seattle. Literally said they were like, we don't like people from California. And she was like, and I was sitting there and they're seeing your girls, like, you guys don't care about stuff that we care about. Like the environment, like the climate and social justice. That's what she said. Because she moves to Seattle, right? Yeah, calming energy now. El has to become a communist in order to fit in. And I'm not interested. Yeah. And then when she runs into that guy, who I guess it was going to be her crush and like, he's handing out flyers because he said the support staff is going to be paid like, like not. I don't know. I guess his or her, we don't really know much about your dog. So we'll never assume the gender. But this dog has gone viral since the wedding. There was a photo of Taylor and Travis and like a big fluffy white dog which is crazy for the Swifties. It's like hardcore fans had seen the dog once before and being like, "Stog is that me?" It's dog. Andrea Swift has dogs. So people didn't assume that Taylor had gotten a dog and I know if you're not a real Taylor Swift fan, you're like, "Okay, who cares?" But it's actually a really big deal. She's a huge cat person. Like her personality has been catch. She has her famous. I mean, you could still be a cat person and have a dog but to also get a dog with a partner is a huge step. I also feel like this is really emblematic of how Travis has made an impact on her life. She makes space for your partner and not everyone is a cat person. I'm famously not and I do feel like that will get in the way of my eventual friendship with Taylor because she can never invite me over. Like I literally want to go. No, no, no. Like I'm petrified of cats. So obviously that's something I think about but not to make this about me. You guys could get dinner at a restaurant. Yeah, of course. No, she could come to my house. He shares with his wife, Taylor, while he's in Palm Beach, while arriving in Palm Beach Florida over the weekend. Well, we know they spend a lot of time in Florida and when they're there, he's training training. I mean, it's training season. Right. But like, is Taylor going to be in Florida? Probably. That's crazy. She'll probably meet him there whenever she's done doing what she's doing, and what is she doing, you think? I don't know. Maybe some girl time. Maybe like some work, even though I was thinking a lot about T. Loas. And I feel like it was like the first time ever that like Taylor didn't release an album on her own time. Like she just releases albums like when they come to her and when they're complete. And they feel like there was so much hype around her and Travis and like, you want to take advantage of like momentum like that. And it was the first album that I feel like was really incomplete and like not her best work. And it was also felt kind of rushed. And so take your time. I want to work on your schedule. I don't want you working on ours. Yeah. There was like a big demand for like, we want the Travis songs and it's like, she was so famous at the time. And like, the error store had just ended and it was like, what is she going to do next? I feel like she rushed it a little bit. Well, I guess not even because of Travis songs, but just because if she was doing a show girl album, like the show is ending. Right. Like, yeah, but it wasn't a show girl album and I don't think that that vibe was necessarily even the right one. So that's what I mean. I just felt like it was the first time like we're kind of miss the mark in a bunch of different ways. And it was because like, it wasn't the right time. Yeah. Take more time. Yeah. It was like a short album, which I don't mind a short album. Not every album needs to be 40 songs. No. Certain artists, like I do need your songs to be 40 songs, like, and Taylor is one of them. So, but what it was billed as, it's not what it was. I was ready for and it was the right time for like show girl, anthem, Bob season, Shell Bog and Max Martin. Oh, Shell Bog, right. Of course. Like, 12 blank spaces, as Travis said, which it could not be further from. Like, do you blame Travis a little bit for that? We don't need 40 blanks. Like, of course, we need 40 blanks. We've been best friends for many years. I received a save the day to her wedding last year. Well, the wedding is coming up and I'm realizing I was not actually invited. The other co-workers were, do I say something? Is it common to send a save the day at a non-imitation? There has been some tension and weirdness very recently. I'm unsure if I should say something or ignore it and let it go to preserve our working relationship. But this is super rude, right? Sincerely, a confused and kind of offended toaster. So it's weird. It's offensive. Yep. However, I don't think you should say something because this is the workplace. Yeah, and I think a lot of people these days, like get their work friendships, conflated with real friendships. Like, sometimes you meet your best friend for life at work, but a lot of times, like, people are taking their work friendships a little too far. And the situation like this, like, she's made it clear. You said there's weirdness, like, she invited you to save the day and then she didn't invite you to the wedding. Like, she doesn't like you anymore. And so, yeah, you could, like, make it weird in the workplace or just, like, continue, just, like, work friendships don't need to be mended. Yeah. You know? Agreed. How about you just forward me that email and we'll keep it moving. How do you just circle back by EOD? Yeah. Like, send the memo. Have you ever gotten a save the day and not made it to the wedding? I have ones. Yeah. It does sound familiar, probably. Yeah. I think we both did. Oh, interesting. That's how I was thinking. Yeah. What were you thinking? I don't know. It just, it sounds familiar. Yeah. You know, it happens to be once. And to be honest, like, normalize changing your mind. Like, I didn't really care. But, you know what I mean? I notoriously hate weddings. Yeah. But this is a work friend. If this was your friend from high school and you felt like things were weird and you thought you should be invited to wedding, of course, like, you know, try and have a conversation about the relationship. Not even about the invitation. Because, like, she's got a lot on her plate. Like, it's like $100 per person. Yeah. Sorry. You're not worth $100. Work friendships don't need to be meant. Did, you know, like, I'll see you at the all hands. Coexist. You need to get that bumper sticker. Like, we're all just co-existing. I'll see you at the all hands. And I'm clocking out at five o'clock. Like, bye. Yeah. I think it's really messy to have, like, work best, best friends. And certainly not, like, conversations about your work friendship. Yeah. He's swirling. My husband and I are coming up on our first wedding anniversary. And I have thought about booking a Boudoir photo shoot. And surprising him with some steamy pictures. I was looking at the photographer's website and checking out her portfolio. But I came across a spicy photo of my mother-in-law. Now, while I'm not judging her by any means, I'm concerned because I find it extremely hard to believe that she would have consented to those photos being public. Not only does she see, does it seem extremely out of character for her, but I also think she would be more defined if she knew I just stumbled across those. But also, she's gone through a major weight loss transformation since those photos, which just makes it even harder to believe that she knows these are public. My question is, do I bring it up to her to make sure she's aware that they are public? Or do I just act like I never saw those photos and move on with my life? Sincerely, a toaster who's just trying to do the right thing. I think what are you doing? What are you doing? How do you find yourself in this situation? I feel like she didn't do anything wrong. Like, she was just. Yeah. It's kind of a crazy coincidence. I'll say that. But I think it's a small town and there's only one or two Boudoir photoshoot. And it's like, you know, they say you marry your mother. Yeah. Well, the thing is, you know, I saw this on, people were talking about this on TikTok the other day. Like, how, you know, when they go to the hair salon, they're like, persons always taking pictures of them and it's like, you know, you're in the hair salon. You never feel uglier than when you do with that thing wrapped around your neck and you're looking in the mirror. And it's like, some people are like, well, this person needs social media to do their job. And like, you know, be a friend, but also like, am I getting a discount for my services? [BLANK_AUDIO]
So I think like the whole conversation about like vendors and needing and I get it like you need social media content in this day and age like promote your business especially it's like beauty or whatever. Um, but like yeah, where is the discount? Like it's true. It's so true. It's a conversation people are having and it's really interesting. I think I think it happens a lot with like lash text. It's like, well, I'm coming to my appointment looking like a mole rat and like you wanting to photograph like. I don't know about that. Especially like there's an incentive for you, but what about for me? Yeah. I'm paying for the appointment. So maybe your mother-in-law got a discount and if she didn't, like, I'm sorry. Boudoir. No, no, no. I think I don't think she got a discount. I like, I think that's a separate thing that you're saying and it just like speaks to a larger issue. But no, I think that like when you hire a photographer like unless you specify like I do not want my photo shared with most people don't because they just don't think about it. Um, they might share your photos. I don't know. I think that if you're somebody who photographs like newborn babies and you do something sensitive like a Boudoir, it's not, yes, most photographers, I'm doing your engagement part of it. It's an assumption that I'll put you on my website. You'll be on my Instagram unless explicitly said otherwise. But Boudoir is a very sensitive nature. And like it's in a contract that you've probably signed and didn't look at. But the question here is like should she tell her mother-in-law? Right. Um, I don't know. Not directly. And then also it's like. Not directly. It's like if you tell her. And she's thinking about you. And she knew. No, no, and she knew. And it's like, well, why'd you think that I didn't want to tell me. She definitely doesn't know. And she definitely should know. I feel it's just like, it's, you know what, it's a perfect, anonymous letter. No. How do we tell her? She deserves to know. Like, I guess it also depends what your relationship is. Because maybe you just like sit her down the next time you're sitting down and be like, by the way, or you could be like, come at it. Like so oblivious. Did you like working with this photographer? I'm thinking about doing a couple photos and I saw you on her website. That's good. Not saying it's good or bad that you're on your website, but letting her know just dropping the information. Yeah. But then you have to admit that you're doing a Boudoir photo shoot for her son, but like seriously. Just like, do any other photos. Like, I feel like it's a really niche. Okay. So you're doing a Boudoir photo shoot for this amazing advice. Yeah. See, like, you could even text her the link. Be like, did you like working with this photographer? I mean, that's really crazy. But if you guys are like semi in a good spot, like that's it. Like if I saw you were using a service, I literally did. Yeah. Yeah. I went to look for a makeup artist. I saw you on her page and I sent it to you when I said, did you like her? And I said, yes, I did. And then I use them and I like them. Yeah. Right. Fritany, right? Yeah. That's Laura. Yeah. Yeah. Um, I realized I didn't choose any of the AI porn ones. I obviously was like not in the mood. So sorry for teasing. This one's like a little sourdough drama. Oh, I love sourdough. Hey, twirlies. I learned how to be sourdough a few years back while I was on maternity leave and I've been hooked ever since. It's really helped me form an identity outside of my own outside of being a mom. It's like she's found a vibe. I started selling to my local neighborhood via HOA Facebook group. I've actually had great success. It's not my full-time job or anything, but it's how I paid for my kids Christmas and Hanukkah. I love teaching people how to make sourdough. So when my neighbor asked, I of course said, yes, she's also one of my good friends and all of our kids are in the same class together. We've spent the last couple of holidays together. I gave her some of my starter, which I've titled Dope Meen. I spent hours answering her questions. I even created a PDF with photos on how to feed it and how to make her first love days after she made her first love. I got a text from some of my customers with a screenshot of her posting on our HOA Facebook group selling her bread and giving me credit for teaching her. Clearly the neighbors were a little confused too. I didn't realize I needed half a mile non-compete before giving her some of my dopamine. I'm super proud of the little business I built and I've worked hard to gain these customers over the years. I just know things will be weird now between us. Am I being dramatic? Please help. You're not being dramatic. That is weird. Also, her giving you credit is very duplicitous because you're not giving credit. You're letting everyone know it's the same bread. You like this bread come get it for a dollar or less. It's very. If she didn't give you credit, that would also be weird that she's just like stealing your business idea and she took your starter. But it's like trained by Sally. Yeah. But I will say what like she's definitely not making us good at bread is you because it takes like time to like hone your skills and like you know get your it's crazy to just learn how to make sourdough and then start selling immediately like you have to be making it for years. Seriously ew. I feel like you're in a place where you could start selling now but I don't know if I would have said that like no of course. I wouldn't want to sell. I wouldn't like think that I have some of your selling. So like the cream rises, stay the course. It's also like very hard laborious time consuming and she will give up. Yeah. It's also pain. You need to come to sourdough earnestly and if you're coming with the intention only to sell it that's not a pure place. Not at all. That will reflect in your bread. There's no love in your lobes. It will taste like greed. And also what is the ethics on like taking someone's starter and then selling it like I think if you took someone's starter and like you started a micro business but like it has to it's not like you just take someone's starter and then the next day you start a business like it has to happen organically. It has to know but like that's just weird and also it takes time for you to like learn your skills as a sourdough maker. So if it happens organically like say Olivia like she has my starter and she like in a like at some point started like a micro bakery. That's what they're called. I guess that wouldn't be weird but that's also your sister. Okay. Okay. Anyone that I gave my starter to if they like we're making bread for a while like love making it have time for what you want in a side hustle. It's the time. Yeah. But you can't just like take it and then start selling one because that bread is going to suck. Seriously you should encourage us that people get her loaves hate them and never buy from her again. Yeah. I wouldn't be worried. Keep doing what you're doing. That's not so cute and so fun. Yeah. No one like so great to have like a side hustle or in some extra cash. To give her all of her kids Christmas gifts with it. I love seeing like when people find like creative amazing ways to like earn extra cash like I feel like I see so many like at sea sellers of people just doing like the smartest things like have you seen these people who make like you send them your baby like your babies one of their pajamas from when they were a baby. They make it a quilt? No. That's like yeah that's another great thing. You send them pajamas from when they were a baby and you send the birth weight and they fill the pajamas with like pebbles to to get the same weight and then they put like you know it's like a bear like a stuffed animal and then you have like your baby their weight and like in their pajamas. That's really cute. That's so smart. I saw how you see the people who make like rings out of breast milk. I have seen breast milk jewelry. Yeah where it's like they put like they basically like dehydrate your breast milk and it becomes powder and they like put it in like a little glass pearl or whatever and put the pearl on a ring and you shake your breast milk around. It's so like people get so creative. Yes anything a lot of it is like women who are like stay at home moms who like just have a passion they're like artistic and they end up like creating a lot of revenue for their family. Yeah. I love that. I love it too. I'm always so impressed. Yeah. I've been talking about it. I see a lot. Yeah. It's amazing. So many people are so creative. As we learn like on the voice like so many people have good voices you know. Yeah. No. I was shopping at Etsy last night. Oh for like a ceiling medallion for a chandelier. Classic.
