I actually made a 2026 BINGO Card

Nikki Reardin presents a comprehensive 2025 pop culture bingo card with 24 predictions, blending music, fashion, politics, and technology. She highlights key forecasts such as Nicki Minaj’s controversial shift, Kylie Jenner and Timothy Shalame’s engagement, Olivia Dean winning Best New Artist, and a jazz-pop resurgence. She also predicts trends like DIY fashion, Harry Styles releasing a major album, and streaming platforms investing heavily in sports. The video explores deeper cultural shifts, including the rise of specialized creator influencers and fashion brands launching their own film studios for product-driven storytelling. Nikki emphasizes the importance of human-made content and practical effects, warning about the dangers of unchecked sports betting, an AI bubble, and misleading unemployment data. She expresses optimism about a strong year for music and film, citing the potential success of "The Odyssey" and a "big song of the summer." The segment concludes with a call to action for fans to create their own predictions and tag her on Instagram, reinforcing her belief in collective cultural forecasting and the power of community engagement in shaping pop culture narratives.

That was not on my bingo card this year. Oh my god, I can't believe that happened. Not on my bingo card for 2025. Really? Where is the bingo card? Or are you just talking out of your ass? Because people love to say, "Oh, that was not on my bingo card." Or, "Oh, I knew this was gonna happen." But where is it? Here at Nikki and I, we take pop culture very seriously. So we actually made a 2026 bingo card with predictions of things that are gonna happen in music, movies, internet culture, pop culture, politics, the economy, everything. You name it, we got it. Because I did one of these last year, and I predicted nine things correctly. They were, Tom Holland and Zendaya getting engaged. TikTok losing the Supreme Court case. Donald Trump and Elon Musk having a major falling out that would lead to some of the best tweets of 2025. Little did we know, Elon would be tweeting that Trump was in the Epstein vials. I said, "Doji would hit a minimum of 50 million monthly listeners "at the time she was only at 14. "She even ended up winning Best Rap Album." So, bonus point there. I said, "One of the biggest movies of the year "was going to be based off a video game. "There were actually two of them. "We had Minecraft and Five Nights at Freddy's 2. "I said there would be the rise of a major new pop boy "and we ended up getting somber." I said, "Donald Trump will do nothing "to fix the cost of groceries." That went a little sad about being right on. And last, I said, "Nikki at night, "our show would have its first-ever artist guest." And we did, we had some amazing artist guest. We also got a freaking US senator. So, I think that's bonus points. Okay, all I'm here to say is that I feel like I have a pretty good track record of predicting things and being right about it. So, part of the whole game of this, anybody who didn't see this last year, I've done this for the past two years now, is you guys all have to also make your own being heard. Well, you don't have to, but I would love it if you did. So, many people tag me on their stories and post it last year. I freaking love it. If you do that, I will repost it to my Instagram. It's just @nikki.reardin. I love to look at that and I respond to your predictions. Sometimes I, you guys come up with such good things. I even think of myself. (laughs) So, yeah, without further ado, welcome back to "Nikki at night." I'm your host, Niki Reardin. And this is either the very last episode of the year or the first episode of the New Year, in which case, "Happy New Year." This is one of those weird times, right? I have to like bulk film a bunch. And it's like the middle of December right now for me. 'Cause I go home for the holidays. So, I have some very, very interesting predictions for this year. Again, I think last year I had a pretty good run if I'm being honest. The Tom Holland and Zendaya thing happened within seven days of me posting that video. So, you know, just, I'm just saying, there's maybe I'm on to something, okay? A lot of these are about music. A lot of these are not about music. Some of them are just, and one manifestation, you know, trying to throw something in there. So, to do a bingo card, there is 25 slots total, but one of them is a free space, which means that we have 24 predictions. My first prediction is a bit of a controversial one, but I'm just gonna say it, and I'm not happy about this one, but I sadly feel it in my soul is Nicki Minaj, Maga Pivot. Am I fucking psychic? (laughing) I swear to you, you're not gonna leave me, I swear. I filmed this video a month ago, three weeks ago, before I went home from Christmas. (laughing) And when I saw that happen, my jaw hit the floor. I literally had two friends that I told him show this episode too, and they called me that. (laughing) If this doesn't prove my ability and feeling to predict things, just wait for the rest of this video. (laughing) Now back to the show. (upbeat music) I just feel like, she's been making some questionable decisions lately. Like I just feel a sort of Kanye effect, a bit happening there, in a way that really, really scares me. And let me tell you, I don't want this to happen. I think that would be an L for me, I think it would be an L for music, and I think it would be an L for the culture. But could I see her in a little pink hat like that? Instead of the red hat, I could. Like I just just something, something about the energy that people she's picking fights with is, I have questions and concerns. I do not wish this upon her or upon any of us. Barbs, please don't hurt me. Please don't hurt me. Number two, Kylie Jenner and Timothy Shalame engagement. You know, we questioned it at first, but you gotta put some respect on my girl, Kylie's name, okay, because she has him down when he has that bald ass head, that cue ball, ping-bong-ball head, okay, and that is an investor. She is buying the dip, okay, because the second those curls come back, hmm, it's game over, it's game over for everyone, you know, but Kylie, she's playing the long game. She sees the potential and she's waiting until that hair grows back. She's a smart business woman. She's investing properly. I just feel like the things are good for them. Like they just seem good, you know? I had Tom and Zendaya as one of my predictions for the last year. I'm locking in Timothy and Kylie for this year. Number three, I feel like Olivia Dean is gonna win Best New Artist. I just feel like she has so much momentum right now. I feel like everybody is just talking about her so much. I also think she kind of benefited from having an album that came in at the end of the year and the Sabrina tour happened towards the end of the year. Like, I don't know why I just feel in my soul that she's also very much like a real music lover. So, you know, like I see the sort of like music snob type people being really, really into her. And I would be ecstatic if she won. I'm freaking love it. She was in my top five favorite albums in Spotify, or most of the albums in Spotify rap. So, and that was another thing. It was really shocking to me about her. So so many people have them have Olivia Dean on her Spotify rap. So it was shocked because the album came out so recently. Like, it's insane that she's had such rapid growth and like is really sticking with people in a way that I think could really just take her home and win Best New Artist. Also going off that prediction, number four, we have sort of this like jazz pop resurgence is what I'm calling it, or just this rising influence of jazz in pop music. I'm thinking I'm talking the Leves, the Clareau, even a bit of Olivia Dean. There's, you know, a bit of that jazz music in there. I just feel like this use of like brass instruments and saxophone would win stringed instruments even. Like, it felt like it just completely fell out of pop. And there have been many times when jazz was a quintessential part of pop, you know, think of like Frank Sinatra. And I feel like the success of these sort of, you know, jazz influence, bass and nova influence, version of pop or it's like derivative of jazz in some way is just really, really working for people. Again, like Lebe Clareau, Olivia Dean, all having some of the biggest albums of their career, some of the biggest blowups of their career. You know, really, really, and I think finding their own within that sound that I would love to see that sort of expand more. If you guys haven't heard an artist in a Delphi, I'm obsessed with her music. She's also very, very much in this lane. And I'm crazy vocalist, you should check her out. Number five, a fashion trend prediction. I think bag charms and little trinkets are gonna have like a huge year. Kind of like the way they were in the 2000s, like all the little like phone chain type things, anything like that, a little, adding a little fun trinket to something you already have. I do think this is a recession, fashion trends that happens. You know, when people can't necessarily afford to buy a new bag, they have to find a way to judge up or spice up some piece that they already have. So I totally could see something like that happening. I also just feel like in general, DIY has just been on, it rapid rise in all categories in the pandemic. People are really, really crafting more than ever. I think people are just more excited about having things that are like uniquely personal to them. And doing that through little charms, I think could just really take off. Number six, we got to get a Harry Styles album this year. Okay, it's time. And I really feel like he's just gonna like drop it. Like there's not gonna be some massive buildup and something. Like it's just gonna come out and it's just going to break the internet and everything. Like we have not, I mean, he hasn't put it on an album since he went home in the year. Where is he? Harry, the boys, they need you though. They're struggling so bad. Please, please, throw them out and it's done. Like somebody needs to save us. The men are not like, there's not doing it. We need you. Come home. Number seven, random entertainment industry prediction. I feel like there is going to be a huge investment. Not saying this prediction exactly, but I could see something where like a Netflix buys a major sport. Or some sort of streamer invest heavily into ownership of a major sport. I think that entertainment is weirdly in this panic stage about AI. And I think something very interesting about sports entertainment is it's kind of the only section of entertainment that's guaranteed not to be changed by AI. Right, like the entire point of sports is that there are real people doing these massive athletic measures. And like that's what's interesting about it to people. Also, I just think sports and investment in general, you know, you see all these interesting stats about the rise of women's sports. Or, you know, international sports, like F1, having big moments in America now. And because of that, I really could see some sort of streamer or studio or something really try to invest heavily into getting their own version of like a Sunday ticket, like what direct TV's have. Number eight, I, this is the prediction I'm least confident in. I think bad bunny's going to win out. of the year. I really, it's between him, Kendrick and Gaga, like none of them would surprise me. I am choosing to say bad bunny and blocking that in as my pick too, because it would just be so good for the lore. Like him getting booked for Super Bowl, it being this massive, massive thing, you know, Donald Trump tweeting about it, and then he wins album of the year, and does the Super Bowl like back to back, you know what I mean? It would just be so perfect. It would be, so what a beautiful way to shut them up. Um, but also you go to Kendrick and Gaga. I, again, this is the one I'm least confident in, but I'm going to say at this moment, I think bad bunny. Number nine, we are in a grow group research, and we need a major boy band. I need five little boys dancing the way cats eyes dancing. I want the book for a gap commercial. I want five cute boys busting out some choreography. Men used to dance. Let's talk about Michael Jackson dance, Justin Timberlake dance, Justin Bieber kind of tried to dance. One direction tried to dance, but like dance had always usher dance. Like where are the boys dancing? Where are the boy bands? In general, I just feel like after the success of cats eye, every label on earth is going to sprint and jump to be the first one to create boy cats eye. And really, really try and do that of this like American boy band that follows a K-pop methodology of artist development. And also just more girl groups in general, you know, I love flow. I love we even have like big, you know, solo albums from people like Jade and Adela who previously were in a group. I just love it. I want more of it. Like we need bands and groups and that type of thing back in the music sphere. Okay, number 10 is a prediction that I got wrong last year and I'm doubling down. I'm doubling down. Okay, I just feel in my soul that this will happen at some point and the fact that it hasn't happened yet, I find a bit sad and disappointing. Trisha paid a skim's campaign. Tell me Trisha paid us would not be so perfect for a skim's campaign. Like her and most get the whole family. We're doing a little family set thing, a little his and her. This thing come on. Get her on that on that G wagon with a little bow on it. Like, oh my god, it would be so good. It would be so good. I would I just feel like she would be so perfect for a skim's campaign. I can't believe it didn't happen in the last year. Also, they just I feel like always are like looking for who is like a really viral person having their viral moment. And that's Trisha. Like come on. Can't quite ask you to wake up. Get on it girl. Number 11. This is a little bit ambiguous. I just feel like something bad is going to happen with Waymo. I don't know what I don't know how, but the vibes are off. I just feel like the vibes are off. And there's going to be a Waymo scandal. I don't know if it's going to be like a surveillance thing. Like we one day find out that like every person who's ever been in a rainbow has been recorded. I don't know if it's going to be like an accident thing. I hope not. I don't want anybody to get injured. But something about the what the vibes of Waymo is just late-stabbed capitalism fear to me. I don't know why. Maybe on the only person who feels this way. Comment the vibes are off. I can't be the only one who thinks of this. Number 12. I think we are really going to start to see this AI bubble start to pop every company on earth is talking about how they're spending millions billions on AI. And for some reason that gives them some big bump in stock price. You hear like meta talking about it all the time or Google like any of these companies are just talking about you know using AI and some capacity. And 99% of the time I think it's just like not like a real thing or at the very least it's not like making the business more money. Such an interesting thing you know like think of like Instagram or something you know like the way Instagram makes money is ads right like people pay to put ads on the platform. That is how all of its revenue comes. So like you can spend a billion dollars in AI that doesn't make more people buying more ads right. Like they just keep talking about all this money because like the big thing in tech and everyone wants to be the AI leader. And I think some time in the next year that that's just really going to pop and people are going to realize like wait a minute. You spend a billion dollars on meta AI and like you're not actually making any more money. You're just kind of talking about this right like you know what I mean it's just something about that is going to pop. Number 13. Going off of this sort of discussion about AI I think people are going to have a really really big obsession with practical effects and that's going to be a big resurgence. I actually think that human made is going to become a thing that people use and trademark the same way people talk about like made in America or like organic right like something being human made will be like a big selling point of the film you know what I mean. And there will even be people who are like inspectors that come in to ensure that it was all human made the same way that they have to do that for like organic and stuff to see if it was actually or grass fed you know what I mean those types of things like I I see this idea of human made you know arch and creativity becoming a a thing that is desirable and sought out by people but also kind of uses a marketing tactic that they assign to things in that way. Number 14. Sports betting epidemic I talking about this in the epidemic of escapism video about how terrified I am about sports betting in America it is getting so ridiculously out of control I especially amongst men especially being young men and how easy it is there's literally 12 year olds like gambling their tooth fairy money like because what they're not supposed to do it's legal for them to do but because it's an app like they're not it's on being enforced in any way you know like it's just so crazy I think the amount of gambling dead in the way that these people are doing and I also think that the economy getting worse makes people feel desperate or desperate for money and desperate for that that hit of dopamine honestly and that this sports betting is going to get really really bad and not next year but within the next five to 10 years will be like a major problem amongst young men in America and you know we're we're really starting to see that said in a scary way. Number 15 I feel like Ralph Lauren could really become like a top five fashion brand the experiential marketing of Ralph Lauren lately has been insane they did like a Christmas tree pop up everything they do is just this like perfect like vintage inspired Americana style like everything just feels so cinematic and beautiful like you're in a hallmark movie they have had these like really a great pinpoint moments I think they do something like Wimbledon and like I think they've really just cracked this midpoint between like a high end mall brand but not quite a designer brand but still very elevated and sophisticated and I as a recession continues to grow think that luxury fashion will take a huge hit and a brand like Ralph Ralph Lauren is very well positioned to be the next big thing because they are not quite at that end of like the luxury price point and have just had like a really really incredible like brand building and world building that I think is really gonna get them to like this the biggest they've ever been. Number 16 I think that there is going to be a major unemployment crisis next year I think we're already in one but there's some very very weird stuff going on right now with the way unemployment data is reported I've actually thought about making a video on this I might do a full one at some point where one the federal government just like didn't for the first time ever decided we're just not going to share the unemployment rate which is crazy right no one does that when it's good you know what I mean like it has to have been some sort of record low that's the first thing the second thing is that in general unemployment is like really really hard to track they generally try to estimate it and they try to use these things and indicators of like you know how many more people are signing up for unemployment insurance this month and they were last month or those sorts of things however very interesting and fascinating thing about this is that sort of data does not count gig work one of the biggest examples being Uber or Gordash or Postmates right like if somebody is out of a job or they're in between jobs they do Uber they do Gordash whatever that does not count as unemployment right because they're a gig worker even though that's not like a it's not as job in the sense of like oh this is something I'm doing and pursuing as a career and like I want to advance in this thing and I can get a promotion next year and I can get a raise next year right like it's just Uber is Uber that's just what it is and the fact that that is not counted in unemployment data is really really terrifying because not everyone you know ever like anytime they're in between jobs they're just like oh you just do Uber some people with jobs even are doing Uber or Gordash or those sorts of things so that is a really really terrifying thing to me about the unemployment data or just like how much the invention of you know like apt based jobs and or gig based jobs and those sorts of things task rapid another great example you know what I mean like don't count in this actual unemployment data but then anytime you ask anyone it's like I feel like every industry ever is having an insane amount of playoffs everyone is struggling to find your job who's applying to them even I as someone who I mean I graduated college in 2021 and it took me I remember I think like five or six months of applying to jobs date like aggressively applying to jobs to get my first job which was a freelance job it wasn't even a full-time job like everybody just unanimous and this is like, "Yeah, the job market kind of sucks right now." And none of our data really reflects that in a way, which is why I think like, one day it's just gonna come out that it's like, "Oh, actually, we're doing exponentially worse than everybody thought we were." Number 17, "The Odyssey is going to be the movie of the year." Okay, when I see Tom Holland dressed in that little Greek armor, I am going to salivate like dog. (laughs) I can't wait, I'm obsessed with the Odyssey. I love Percy Jackson. Like, this is Percy Jackson on steroids. And it has Ann Hathaway, it has Robert Pattinson's, and Daya Mount Damon, me and Gough, directed by Christopher Nolan. My goat, the same man who did Inception in her stellar, The Dark Knight, it is going to be like, it has to be the best movie of the year. It has to be. Also, Tom Holland is in the day, I'm a movie for the first time, since Spider-Man and since being engaged. I love it. I will be feral for Tom Holland in that movie. Get ready for it, okay? (laughs) There will be a review coming. I can't wait, I need to see it so badly. Number 18, I think we're going to have a big song of the summer. This past summer, we didn't have like a unanimous defined like this was the song of the summer. I can't see that happening two years in a row. (laughs) I can't, you know, and maybe that hairy album could do it for us. Maybe it could, you know, like we just, we need a big song of the summer. I can't see us going two years of that one. There's just no way. That is up for grabs, someone please, step in. Number 19, sort of a creator economy prediction. I don't know how to phrase this one. It's gonna be a bit like of a ramble until it makes sense. It's like, I really think we are seeing sort of the creator economy and influencer marketing become more geared towards specialists. What do I mean by this? I feel like in the beginning, for a lot of things. I mean, this fashion was an example. Like, a lot of creator marketing was like, haught people with high follower accounts doing stuff. (laughs) You know what I mean? Like, an example, no hate to this person. Like, Vinny Hacker going to Fashion Week, right? Like, I think Vinny Hacker is probably an extremely nice person. I'm just using him as an example of like, he is just a hot guy with a high follower account. His actual content is like gaming in like Twitch, right? Like, nothing about him is fashion. And I think slowly over time, we're gonna see more of like, the Wisdom K type creators. Or like an Elliot de Prie is somebody that I really love. Through Joyner, it's another creator that I really love. Nina Lay, right? Like, these are people that actually like, discuss fashion and study fashion and have takes about that. They are specialized in what fashion is. Sort of like being the new version of that. Or not even a new version, but more so, like, that's where everything's gonna go, right? Or like, you know, instead of of Charlie Demelio getting invited to the movie premiere, it's gonna be like, people who actually review movies. So you get what I'm saying? Like, I just think everything for a long time in the beginning, you know, the way marketing and branding works as somebody who has like worked in like, a biz org and like, done all that, influencer marketing jobs. Is like, everybody's just trying to look good for their boss, right? Like, you have X amount of spend to get Y amount of impressions. And it's a very, very easy win if, you know, you send, again, Vinny Hacker, I'm so sorry. I don't mean to be like, I'm the support guy. But Vinny Hacker to the VMAs, right? If you do that, will he post a picture on Instagram and will it get 50,000 likes? And will that look extremely good for the amount of money it costs to send him there? Absolutely. Will you look good for your boss and your client and have a killer pitch deck? Absolutely. Or those 50,000 people going in to watch the VMAs because Vinny Hacker was there, absolutely not. That is this weird thing that's like with just the way marketing is, you know, like people just have this assumption that like views are good, you know, engagement is good without like the depth of that connection ever being accounted for a matter or just like, are the people actually watching the thing or liking that thing? Like the target audience of what this is, right? And I think slowly, I have seen a lot more brands and people or just friends of mine who work in the industry like notice that and talk about that, right? Of like, oh, well, like we don't really just like need this thing to be seen by as many people as possible. We need this thing to be seen by people who are actually interested in buying it or watching the movie or listening to song, whatever, right? Like, and more of that, I think it's better. I think it's better to have like a small specialized thing of group of people than it is to just have like, you know, outs are all at the Oscars or I don't know. Number 20, I have this theory that fashion brands are going to start developing their own movie studios. Like what Gucci did with the tiger that was starring Demi Moore, Kiki Palmer, Alex Konsani. We saw that gentle monster did the hunt, which was the horror film with Hunter Schaefer. Granted, there has always been this intersection of fashion and music, right? Like Jonathan Anderson did all of the costuming for the Challengers movie or Tiffany and Co did all of the jewelry in the new Frankenstein movie. But I think we're actually going to see fashion houses start to produce and fund and invest in movies with product placement. Like they do all the costuming and all the wardrobe of the movie. And then also do like the entire press tour and of the talent and the actors and everything that they're doing. This is something that YSL actually started in 2023. They created something called YSL Productions and started doing exactly this. Like they help develop and fund and produce movies in exchange for product placement essentially. Like all of the great example was Emilia Perez, which was nominated one of one Oscars last year. That movie was entirely, was from YSL Productions and all of the costuming and everything in the film was through YSL. I think the reason for this is that luxury fashion has to be aspirational. They have to sell you on this idea of like status and fame and wealth. And they used to be able to do that through like content and through advertising. But the creator economy made that accessible to everyone. Like now anyone can make a video. Now anyone can be an ad. Now creators on billboards and stuff even sometimes. So they have to push that a step further. What is the new thing that they can do to be aspirational? And I think that's just like full blown film, right? That is something that an independent creative cannot do on their own. It's impossible. There's too many, too many people and too many teams need it to create something like that. So I think that they are actually going to start funding these full blown like high scale, high, even there's like 30 minute shorts type things of films to promote their products. Number 21, I feel like Ariana or Cynthia will win the Oscar, but not both. I don't know why. I just feel like it'd be too good to be true. You know what I mean? But I do feel like one of them will win. There's no way we can go through all this two years of wicked being like the biggest cultural phenomenon in film, right? Like there's, and neither of that, there's just no way. And they're so good in that movie. They're so good. They are so good. I want one of them to win it. Both of them would be right. But I feel like that's just too good. We don't live in like in a world back good, you know? Number 22, another fashion prediction. I feel like it's going to be a huge year of like lace and doily in kind of everything. You know, like a little lace shirt under the blazer or a lace collar or even adding it, lace stockings, dresses, adding it to existing pieces even. I don't know why. I think it's just such like a cutesy little thing. I think it's something that's like kind of is in this sort of like Victorian coquette lane that's very girly, but it's also kind of, you know, a bit of that like 60s Sabrina Carpenter type girly, but also can be kind of want to do ray. There's also like sort of like a religious aspect to it. It's just like a piece that's at the intersection of a lot of different aesthetics. And I think it's something that's really, really cool. Something that's very fun to play around with. It's a very light fabric. So it's very easy to add to things. And I just think the girls are loving it. Then they're loving this sort of like colonial cutesy girl vibe. So I think it's going to be a big trend. Number 23, I really think Timothy Shalmay might win the Oscar for Marty Supreme. It is apparently like the best movie ever. And people love it. And at the time I'm recording this, it hasn't come out. But I'm never seeing somebody go for it in the way that Timothy has for this movie. And it frustrates me that other actors don't try like this. Like he is a performer. He's putting on a performance, the blimp, the calls in the videos, the promos shoots, the drops. He's treated this like a fashion drop. He's going to cities across the world to do the pop ups for the Marty Supreme zip up. He has gone on podcasts like talking about this movie. And when people talk about there's no movie stars anymore. And they compare them to pop stars. Like pop stars go for it. They go for it in a way that is just so unlike what actors do except truly except for Timothy, especially men. And he has done such an incredible job with the rollout of this movie. And if the movie is as good as the rollout is or even half as that's good, I really think he could win. I mean, we all know he's going to be an Oscar rating actor. Eventually, I think that this is a movie about somebody chasing their dreams and relentless delusional pursuits of that goal. And I think that's something he's really talked about and owned for a long time. And I just think it'd be a beautiful, perfect moment narrative. So I'm hoping that he'll win. And then 24, we're doing our manifestation, OK? That's where I manifested in our guest. for 2024. I'm gonna manifest. What do I manifest? Honestly, let's say this. Nikki and I first sponsorship, okay? I love doing this show. I love to do it all the time, but you know, it cost me money. (laughing) There's something I love more than doing. It's the most creatively fulfilling thing I've ever done in my life. It is my passion. My grade's passion is this sitting and talking to you once a week and yapping about stupid shit. In fact, there's like a community of people out there that love overanalyzing this shit as much as I do. And part of that is it has to grow in scale so that I can continue. So like invest into it and have sets and producers or what, you know what I mean? I really want that. I really want to make this into something amazing. I want this to feel as good as billboard does or Rolling Stone does, you know? So we're manifesting that. We're manifesting things that are gonna let me make the show even bigger and better and more amazing in the next year. But y'all, please make a bingo card. Please tag me in it.
