How to become someone you actually believe in | BYF SERIES #3

This episode, part three of the "Build Your Foundation" series, focuses on confidence and self-trust as the bedrock for lasting change. The host argues that most people fail not from lack of motivation but from building on weak foundations. Confidence, she explains, isn't a magical feeling but the result of repeated proof—evidence that you keep promises to yourself. This evidence is collected through actions, especially on difficult days when it's easiest to give up. A key strategy is treating "something is better than nothing" seriously; even a 20-minute walk on a chaotic day counts as stacking evidence that you prioritize yourself. She emphasizes that perfectionism leads to inaction, while small, consistent actions compound over time. Strength training is highlighted as a transformative confidence practice, as it reveals your capability and builds self-respect, independent of appearance. The host also stresses sticking to a plan over your mood, noting that emotions are fleeting and shouldn't dictate decisions. She ties this to broader trust, including nourishing your body properly so it feels safe, rather than punishing it with restriction. Personal responsibility is crucial—stop pointing fingers and own your choices. The episode ends with a reflection: examine what evidence you've given yourself of following through, and a task: choose one promise you can keep within 24 hours, commit to it, and follow through to start rebuilding self-trust.

Hello, my beautiful humans. Welcome back to episode number three of the build your foundation series. If you have spent years chasing diets, choosing skinny, chasing motivation, feeling guilty around food and losing confidence in yourself, this series is for you. Most people don't fail because they lack motivation or the perfect plan, they fail because they're trying to build results on a foundation that is not strong enough to support them. Building your foundation series is an eight-part series to guide you away from quick fixes and interlasting change. This series isn't about becoming a different person, it's about building the foundation to become the person you have always been capable enough to be. Confidence isn't something that is found, it is something that is built, it's something that is cultivated, discipline isn't punishment, it is self-respecting its eyes form and strength isn't just about how much you can lift, it's about becoming the kind of person who keeps showing up long after motivation fades. It's about before you chase the outcome, it's about building the person capable of maintaining it, that's our foundation, that's where our strength and resilience comes from. The first two episodes, episode one was all about why you keep starting over, episode two was about your current habits that are draining you, episode three is all about trust and understanding what confidence actually is and the core root of that and why it is important, okay, it's about building the part of you that backs your decisions daily, okay, this is the trust part, you stop questioning yourself, you start trusting your voice and giving less of a fuck about what others have to say, okay, you feel less of a need to constantly have to explain yourself to people, to watch what others are doing, you are so in your own lane that that in itself is the empowering part, it's about building that version of you that may not have the end result just yet, but you can actually look in the mirror and say, hey, I fucking love who we are becoming, okay, and that's built on self-respect, okay, being able in season to season, we're going to change, so in many seasons over our life we are going to evolve and grow as humans, right, especially as women, we have so many different seasons that we go through as women and our hormones and things that change and to be able to throughout each season look in the mirror and go, hey, I love who we are becoming is such a beautiful thing and I truly wish for every single woman to feel that and understand the amount of choice that we do have in this decision, okay, we are more in control of this decision than a lot of us want to actually believe that we are and a lot of it starts with exactly that taking a lot of personal responsibility, okay, understanding that how you feel is 100% up to you and that's where we need to start, we need to take responsibility for that and be so fucking honest with ourselves where we are the ones letting ourselves down, it is us, it's not someone else dictating our decisions, it's us that is holding ourselves back in these things, okay, so we need to understand and we need to stop pointing the finger everywhere else and we need to start pointing it back and that's when we actually start to get our control back, okay, confidence isn't something that you just magically land upon one day, okay, you don't just magically find it, it is built through collecting evidence, okay, confidence follows action, confidence is evidence based, it's got nothing to do with a feeling, it's got to do with keeping promises to yourself and showing yourself and collecting evidence to show yourself that you are who you say you are, you are a woman of your word, your words actually mean something and that's an internal feeling and we're going to go into this in some other layers when it comes to becoming someone that you respect, we're going to go, we're going to talk about this, that's episode six, we're going to talk about that a little bit further because a lot of these messages I really want to run home even more but when it comes to confidence specifically today, keeping promises to yourself, it's coming down to the fact of where do you lie to yourself every single day, where do you lie to yourself and say to yourself, I'm going to do one thing but you go and do another thing, that's the biggest part of that. So when it comes to building trust within yourself, it's looking at all those areas, it's not creating shame, it's not judging yourself with these things, it's understanding that I actually need to see this stuff, I need to bring awareness to this stuff if I'm ever going to change it otherwise it's just simply going to stay the same, it's simply going to be me on a loop of realizing I let myself down and I'm never actually going to change that and keeping these promises to yourself starts with you actually treating the philosophy of something is better than nothing actually seriously and this is where I say a lot of people and sustainable change as well but we'll start with the first one. So actually treating something is better than nothing, really like taking it so seriously, so like to give you the easiest example, it's been a big day and you're like I didn't make the gym today because while life happened today, I do have time to go for a 20 minute walk for example, it could even be I have got time to go for a 20 minute gym session, not my hour that I had planned, whatever it is, I have some time that I can prioritize for movement. Now you could have the perfectionistic mentality or nothing mentality and you could see well if it's not my perfect plan, then what's the point? This is where we let ourselves down because we don't see the point, the point is I have 20 minutes to show myself that I am a priority amongst a really busy day. I have an opportunity right now to show myself that I can keep promises to myself regardless of what it is, regardless of if I have to learn to adapt, this is adapting, okay I don't have time for the hour today because life happened, cool, I still need to prioritize what's good for me, what's good for me is movement, nutrition, what how can I make that happen today and show myself that I am important enough to show up for myself, this is where we start to build and collect evidence, this is a piece of evidence and you treating that as not important enough is the reason why you don't have any evidence because you keep thinking it has to be perfect or nothing, so it starts with you understanding something is better than nothing because something is more than you did yesterday, whereas nothing remains as nothing, it was nothing better than yesterday because you didn't do anything, nothing is always better than nothing, we don't always want to be operating from something but something is for the days where things don't go to plan and guess what, life isn't always going to go to plan, this is how we keep consistent, this is how we keep stacking days, this is how we keep adding coins in the jar, something is better than nothing and when we start to treat that seriously before we know it, we have collected more days of doing something over more days of doing nothing and that compounds over time, amongst all the other days where we show up and do exactly what we need to do and we utilize, life felt great today, things didn't go chaotic, I actually showed up, I utilized the fact that I had a lot of energy, I put that into my session and that was great, amongst the days where we push the level a lot higher than what we've got and this is kind of that balance piece of consistency is utilizing the days that are great to push harder, to work harder, to do more, to push that edge and then the days that don't feel so great to stack evidence that we are still important, even on the days that we feel like, if we feel helpless, we feel overwhelmed, we feel exhaustive, we feel all the things, so keeping promises to yourself, building that trust within yourself is treating something better, something is better than nothing as something that is so important because it is, and the more we do, the more energy we start to build with it, the more we're able to do, capacity starts to rise, we start to see more pockets for time, we start to feel the benefit of it, we start to then prioritise more because we realise, fuck this actually makes me feel so good, I am going to make sure that I fit in more time throughout my day, it becomes more of a habit, this is how we build the habit by doing bit by bit and building over time, but if you do nothing and you continuously only show up when things feel good, anyone can show up when things feel good, anyone can show up when things are easy, the person to look at the most within yourself, the version of you to look at the most is who you are when shit is hard, who you are when things don't go to plan, who are you on those days, that is the version of you you need to look at because that's the version of you that is leading you to your results, okay, so your reality right now is dictated by that version of you, so we need to pay attention to that version the most, and if every single day, every single hard day or every single emotion comes flooding in in your tire, your exhaust, your overwhelmed, and the first thing that you do is break the promises you've made to yourself, is not take care of yourself, is take the easy way out, that is the evidence that you're collecting, is I'm a person who takes the easy way out. every single time you take the easy way out, you are reinforcing the belief within yourself that you can't do it, that it's not possible for you. So you've collected all this evidence, whatever it is that you believe about yourself is based off a hell of a lot of evidence collected in the past. Okay, so this is why it's so important to take responsibility for this and to go, hey, I'm actually the one giving up on myself. I'm actually the one not making that a priority and I've collected so much evidence of that, that's why I feel the way that I do. That's why when I look in the mirror, I'm not confident in who I see because she's someone that gives up when she gets hard. She's someone that the minute she can, she takes the easy way out. She can skip, like it could be as simple as the minute exercise gets hard in the gym, you start skipping reps, you take the easy way out, you don't push yourself when you've got the opportunity to do so. You don't treat something is better than nothing, you take that opportunity to sit on the couch and do nothing. And this can also go in other ways, you do too much, you fog yourself in the gym because you ate something that you thought that you probably shouldn't, you thought it was not the thing to eat. You skip a meal because you think that's the right decision to get you to your goals faster. These is the same thing, you're collecting evidence that this journey has to be really fucking hard, you're collecting evidence that you have to hate yourself to get to the results. All of this is evidence-based, the confidence you feel in the process, the confidence you feel in yourself, the confidence you feel, the trust, the person that you are when you look in the mirror is all built off evidence. If you've done your health and fitness before and you've achieved the physique and you did it from a place of hate for yourself, you're going to have a hell of a lot of evidence that that journey has to suck. And that's true evidence you've created for yourself versus someone who does it from a place of love and respect is going to have a lot of evidence that that's not the case. Are we catching my drift, like are we getting it, it's all evidence-based, how you feel about yourself right now is based off the evidence you have been collecting for a very long time. How do you change that, you start collecting new evidence, you start keeping promises to yourself. Okay, one of the other things as a confidence practice, I love is strength training. Hey, strength training is the number one thing that released, not released, but made me, that helped me find a lot of my confidence. That, I did not expect, okay, I did it, I started doing it because I needed to do it for my exercise science degree. Right, I started doing it because I felt like I needed to, literally. And then as I started doing it, I was like, holy shit, what is this feeling? And it was something that was absolutely not, like, common for me. I wasn't regular, it was so unusual to me because I doubted myself a lot. I had a big, not good enough wound, I didn't like the version of myself, I saw in the mirror, I was not confident, I couldn't back myself, I always explained myself to people. I was people, I was people, please, I, all the things. Okay, and I started to feel this, this spark in my chest, right, of going, whoa, I'm showing myself what I'm capable of. And I started to be like, whoa, is it you actually can do that? You actually could do this, whoa, you're strong, this feels really good. Strength training was literally the gateway for me, for my confidence. It started to show me what I was capable of. But also, it started to, I started to reap the benefits of what it was like to become a person who respects their body. And I had never, never understood the power of that until I was, I want to say lucky because it really felt like luck at the time, fell into the hands of performance coaches, fell into the hands of exercise scientists and people who trained athletes. And when you, when I fell into those hands, I fell into people who were so how you feel and how you perform first. So how you see yourself is based off what you're capable of doing, which means earn it. Earn it through the work that you do, earn it through the person you are becoming, got nothing to do with a look. And that was probably one of the best things that could have happened to me was showing myself what I'm capable of and feeling the benefits of that. And like I said, I started doing it for a completely different reason. And then not for how I look thing and I didn't even start from that direction, I started from a direction of I need to do this for my degree. And then I started to feel the feeling inside of myself and I started to walk out the door with my head held a little higher. I had some amazing mentors and I had people that really reinforced the belief of back yourself, build that trust within yourself. And that changed the whole directory of my life. Like honestly, I really do think it did, do think it did, did think it do, I don't even know. But strength training as a confidence practice was massive because I started to prove to myself I had so much more in the tank. And that was big, really big for the belief that I started to have in myself, I started to collect evidence that I could do hard things. Because some of those sessions, I started in a strength and training, strength and conditioning facility. And they did a lot of animal based movements and like body weight, like conditioning sessions that were hard. And I completed them and I wasn't bad at them and I went wow, I never thought I was capable of doing this sort of stuff. So showing myself that I was, I had so much more in the tank and I could do hard things, reap so many, so much benefit for my confidence. So that's the power of not showing away from doing hard things and putting yourself in a position to do things that are a little bit challenging. Like if you want to be a regulated human, you need to disregulate yourself and teach yourself to regulate in the moment. If you want to become someone who's better at doing hard things, you have to do hard things. And in the moment, teach yourself not to give up. You have to constantly push that edge and not shy away from it. A lot of people are trying to find a way around that, there's no way around it. And that's why you always end up at the starting gate again, going why the fuck am I back here? Because you need to be in the game, you need to be on the field, not on the sidelines wishing and hoping that it could be you. You have to be out there putting in the work, making mistakes and learning from them. But strength training is so many benefits, has so many benefits, but people over underestimate, underestimate the power of the human you become in the process. So yes, it's got benefits for longevity, it's got benefits for our muscle, our independence, quality of life, energy expenditure, weight loss, physique, all those things. But the human you are becoming in the process, that is severely underestimated, the discipline, the resilience, the confidence, the self-respect that is built, because you are showing yourself something. You are showing your body, showing yourself what you're capable of, you can do hard things, and that you respect your body. Showing up when you don't feel like it, that is an alignment with someone who loves the shit out of themselves. When you look in the mirror, you can go, "I fucking love who you are because I trust you, I trust you not to give up when shit gets hard." That's where confidence comes from. This then leads you to becoming a person that is able to stick to the plan and not their mood and you become evidence based, not feelings based. You know that feelings come and go, so you don't make decisions based off fleeting emotions that you're feeling in the day. You're not able to actually feel the emotion, but get back to reality and continue to take action based off what you know is good for you and what you know you need to do sooner rather than later. You don't take a week to overcome something someone shitty said to you, you can get over it and move on with it in like five minutes. Not even that, you probably don't even take it on. You just go, it really sucks to be in your head maybe, that you have to actually make someone feel like that by saying something like that, you know what I mean? So you actually can move through it faster, so you have the ability to stick to the plan and you don't let your mood on a certain day dictate what you do. And this is a process, right? Don't expect to get yourself to be perfect with this. There are still some days where I go, "Shit, you'll let your mood dictate that." Right? I'm pretty good with my health and fitness, but I have other areas in my life where I'm working on this myself. And I, especially business, there are a lot of times where I'll show up to this podcast, for example, not in the mood to record, not in the mood, and I will sit here procrastinating, going, just press the goddamn button and start talking. Because there's a lot of fear based around it, for example, there's a lot of fear that I have to face, and that's the emotion, right? I have to face that, so for me not to do that, I can give into that emotion, and I can push it aside, and I can listen to my excuses, or I can negotiate with myself, or I can go stick to the plan. And the plan is, "Get the fucking episode done." Simple. Get it done the way that it needs to be said, like however it comes out at the time is the way that it comes out, the way you speak, and what, like the words that you speak, like sometimes I feel like I'm not making any sense. But I trust that me leaning in, and just speaking, and bringing up the things that I know that I need to speak, it is what needs to be said, and just trusting that. Trusting it's not going to be perfect. There are a lot of these episodes when I speak to you guys, and I contemplate redoing a lot of the time. my emotions can come into it. My emotions come in and I start to negotiate and panic and fear and doubt and all the things come into my head and go that was a fucking shit episode deleted. I am now in a position where I am like deleted and redo it and I cannot tell you the amount of days that that happens to me but I trust that the episode will be the right thing for the person that needs to hear it and I don't let myself give in to that doubt and that fear and I just stick to the plan and I'm becoming better at trusting my ability to just show up and do that and the only way for me to do it is to do it. Like is to do it? Like I'm approaching my 100th episode on this podcast and I can't even begin to tell you where I don't even feel like I've even started. I don't even feel like I've even scraped the edge. Like I genuinely can't even explain that to you anymore than just that. Sticking to the plan and not your mood, the amount of mood shifts I've had over these two years with this podcast is insane. So like I know it's something that you experience with your health and fitness, right? This is why having a plan in place and having systems and prioritising this foundation of I just need to stick to the plan and not let that mood dictate me. This is where it comes down to having these systems in place, right? Having a solid foundation, having a system that supports you and sets you up for success so that when it comes down to my mood is telling me no I don't want to do any of it today but then you've got discipline in place. You've got a system that says adapt, learn to adapt, do what is good for you because over time stack days. Stack days is not about being perfect today, it's not about this being the most perfect episode I've ever done in my entire life, it's about getting it done. That's the same thing with your health and fitness. It's not about this being the most perfect episode you've ever done, episode. Yeah, it's that podcast guys. Being the most perfect training session you have ever done, it's about getting it done. How do I need to adapt? How do I need to stack another day of showing myself? I can't fucking show up and I can't do it. Like I said, the days where you feel these really uncomfortable motions, they are the most important days. So the days where I'm feeling like I don't want to record and I'm not in the mood to do it and I feel like everything that I'm saying is pointless and useless and you guys are never going to be the most stupidest episode in the history of episodes. These are the days that are most important for me to lean in and I do my best to do it. It's not about being perfect, there are going to be times like I said, I have absolutely procrastinated and pushed aside doing it and left a couple episodes to the last second and gone. Fuck, this is what happens when you leave shit to the last minute procrastinating out of doubt and fear and whatever it is you were feeling. You've now put this extra pressure and stress on yourself to have to get it done because you're running out of time. No one's going to have an episode to listen to on Monday, you flip your flapjack. This is what you've done to yourself instead of leaning into that and sticking to the plan. So like, don't, and then there's the little moments like that where I'm like, okay, I can see where I did that. Okay, we need to trust that a little bit more. I need to lean into that a little bit more. So don't think you need to be perfect with this. It's got nothing to do it's about paying attention more often than not. Okay, it's not about, it's never, ever about being perfect, but it's understanding that if I take action, even though I feel horrible in whatever way, fear, doubt, tiredness, exhaustion, overwhelm, that I don't know all these things. If I can take 10 minutes to do something today, that is going to stack and that is going to show myself that even when it feels the hardest and the most uncomfortable, I can, I am capable of doing it. I can do hard things. I can show up for myself when it feels the hardest to do so. This is the evidence part and this over time compounds and you start to become more of a person that can just get it done. Regardless of how you're feeling, you know what's good for you and you get it done. And that's really what confidence is at the end of the day. Okay, confidence is the result of repeated proof. Okay, proof that you can trust yourself. Proof that when shit gets hard, you won't back down. You will learn to adapt and you will continue to prioritize yourself. Proof that if someone says something horrible to you, you won't let that affect you and you will still continue to pursue the things that you need to pursue. You won't let it stop you. You won't take on that piece of information because you're trust yourself to handle it in the moment. You can see it for what it is and it's a projection from that person. These is pieces of proof. Proof that you can continue to show up for yourself regardless of what's going on. And this takes practice. It takes time. It takes building. It takes you seeing those small little moments. Something is better than nothing as something that is so fucking serious because they are the moments. These are the evidence building moments. Some days you put a $2 coin in. Some days you can put a $50 note in. Some days you're going to put a $0.5 piece in. But that is still $0.5 more than you had yesterday. And you need to start taking that fucking seriously. But this is why we're doing the foundation building. This is why we're building that foundation. And having sustainable plans, having daily non-negotiables that are simple and not complicated because this is how we stay consistent over time. We build this system. Whereas if you're chasing quick fixes, you're chasing restriction, you're chasing punishment. That's not sustainable. And that's evidence that it fucking sucks and you hate yourself. You are someone. And trust when we come, when we speak about it from like a nutrition level, for example, building safety back in your body. Okay. So this can come down to getting a period back to building energy, to feeling clear-minded, to healing gut issues, to feeling stronger, actually building muscle because you're starting to nourish yourself properly, actually losing the weight, getting yourself back your body back to a place of safety. And so your body can actually trust yourself again. Because when we don't, our body goes into a state of survival. So it starts to shut down a lot of different systems in our body. So we start to struggle. Okay. This is where a lot of women lose their periods because they're under fueling. Our bodies like bro, we don't, we actually don't have the capacity for you to bleed. We're shutting down because you're not giving us enough fuel. So your body starts to shut down and you start to go, wow, I'm struggling on a daily basis because we're not fueling. So when we think of this from a bigger perspective of trust, your body is wanting to trust itself as well and that's up to you. So when you start to fuel your body appropriately and nourish your body properly, your body starts to go, we can start to trust this chick again. Okay. We can actually start to trust that she's going to feed us regularly and she's not going to skip breakfast because she thinks that's wasted calories, even though she doesn't realize she's eating it later on in the day because she's fucking starving. But what's all she's done is starved us in the morning when we needed some fuel. We needed adequate consistent fueling throughout the day and she didn't give that to us. But now she is giving it to us. Amazing. We have the evidence that is starting to stack that this girl will look after us. And then you reap the benefits of that because you've fueled correctly. So you've asked your body for something. You've given it and so it can give it back. Okay. That's trust on that kind of level. It's all evidence-based. It is action. For example, you're fucking a boyfriend. He doesn't do anything for you. The evidence is he doesn't give a fuck. The evidence is he doesn't show up for you. The evidence is he doesn't pay attention because of his actions. His actions are not showing you he cares. Little example because most of us know what that feels like. And I hope you have not fucking settled for that and you're going to change that. Just side note there. But we know what that kind of feels like. So why is that any different to yourself? You lie to yourself every single day. How is that any different to someone else in your life that lies to you every single day? Do you trust that person? No, the fuck you don't. It's the same thing for you. Your body, you are not going to trust yourself when you don't give it what it needs and you don't stack the evidence to prove that yes, I can trust myself because that is all confidence is. Confidence is the result of repeated proof that you can trust yourself. I use strength training for that because it's an amazing thing. You can use any form of movement. I just like strength training. I'm absolutely biased in that because I actually don't think strength training is something you have to enjoy. I think it is a level of hygiene for women. It is something that we it's like brushing your teeth. You do it because you know it's good for you because the benefits two to three times a week. That's all we need. But it had doubles as a confidence practice. It absolutely does. Amongst all the other benefits, which we are going to talk to in this series because that is a big part of laying foundation. No, like I was saying, strength training is one of my things I'm always going to recommend. But in anything, do something that challenges you. Do something that you consider hard. Do something that you're avoiding. You want to do something in your life and you're avoiding actually doing the thing. Well, you're never going to get better at doing it unless you do it. Simple as that. Do something that challenges you go to coffee by yourself. Go to a dance class. Go to something that puts you outside your comfort zone. That is going to challenge the trust that you have in yourself and you show up. You get it done. You leave, you realize, well, that actually wasn't that bad. I am someone that can do hard things. Okay, pick something that makes you slightly uncomfortable, go and do it. Going to a Pilates class by myself, I always go with the girls, okay, I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna show myself that I can. That's the thing. I'm avoiding this because it scares me for whatever reason. That's the adjure emphasis. There's the exact thing that you need to go and do. Okay? So reflection and task. The reflection for this episode is if confidence comes from evidence, I want you to write down what evidence have you given yourself lately that you're someone who follows through or not. I want you to write this down and I want you to actually start stacking it one because you could be someone that is just on a autopilot. You don't realize you're doing these things. You can start bringing awareness to the fact that maybe you do have the evidence and you actually need to start paying attention to these small little moments of where you do show up for yourself and you need to give yourself a little bit more compassion. Or you're gonna realize you haven't been stacking the evidence of someone that follows through and you need to start stacking that evidence. So that's your reflection piece, go and do that. Well, that's your reflection. Think about that. It's also a task, but I also have a task for you, which is pretty much the same thing. But that's your reflection piece, okay? If confidence comes from evidence, what evidence have you given yourself lately that you're someone who follows through or doesn't have a think about that. Task. Choose one promise. You know you can keep over the next 24 hours, okay? Do not, and I tell you right now. Do not say it and then don't do it. Your own fucking problem if you do this. Choose one promise. It might be going for a walk, eating enough protein, getting to the gym, drinking more water. It could be eating your fire bar, okay? We don't need to just, it could be all balanced, but it's one thing. Right? One thing that you know you need to be doing, but you keep not doing it for some fucking reason. Right? Pick that. One thing. Keep that promise and not because it's life changing on its own. We need to stop thinking about every single decision we make being life changing. Okay, one gym session doesn't give you abs. It's about stacking them over time and then eventually we start to reap the benefits. So not because it's life changing on its own, but because every single promise kept becomes evidence that you can trust yourself. Got it? If you're not going to do it, don't fucking say you're going to do it. I repeat it. Do not. Okay? Release yourself from the disappointment that you keep putting on yourself for saying something and making a promise to yourself and then not following through with it. Release yourself from that. So only say it if you are going to do it, but I recommend you doing it because if you shy away from that, if you're like, "Oh, but what if I don't follow through with it?" Don't give yourself a fucking choice. Why do you keep giving yourself a choice? This is where you need to put a little bit more pressure on yourself and actually put yourself in a position where you've got no choice but to do it. Do it. If you want to hold yourself accountable with this and you actually like, "You know what? Yeah. I need to actually have someone check in with me and say, "Did you do the thing?" If you don't do it, this is one of the most powerful things and this is why I recommend having a coach because having someone check in with you and say, "Did you do the thing?" And then you say, "No, I didn't." And then sitting with that disappointment, that's what you need to do sometimes. You need to sit with that feeling of disappointment and then choose whether you want to continue to feel that or you want to change. And then having someone that guide you towards that change, it is super powerful. Instead of quietly saying it, never telling anyone and then, "Oh, yeah. I can forget about it because I don't really have someone checking in with me." So if you want to hold yourself accountable and you're like, "You know what? I actually want to do this and I want to follow through with it. Jump into my dams and tell me what you're doing, I will check in with you." And when you don't do it or if you do do it, we'll work through that after that. We'll cross that bridge when we get there. All right, my loves. That is pretty much the end of that episode. That is episode three. Episode four, we're going to go a little bit into nutrition, why diets keep failing you, why that's a cycle in itself, and why that's not how we're going to be laying that really solid foundation that supports us throughout our entire life with our health and fitness. Okay, so that's the next episode.
