The podcast episode features the hosts—Bow, Ryan, Cat, and Woodsy—sharing entertaining stories from their weekends. Kat talks about babysitting her goddaughters, who jokingly call her "crazy" for taking them to a pub and having tattoos, despite her feeling composed. Woodsy recounts a tiring rugby league gala day for his kids, dealing with no parking and hyperactive children. A longer story involves Woodsy taking his son to a timezone arcade, realizing he left his phone at home, and rushing back to get it. Later, he needs his wife's phone to redeem arcade credits but finds her at a 40th birthday party; he sneaks into the venue, is mistaken for a stripper by the party guests, and retrieves the phone in a humorous scene. The sports segment covers rugby league updates, including the Dragons defeating the Sharks, a potential serious injury to a Panthers player, and predictions for the competition. The show also runs a trivia contest asking listeners to guess the most annoying aspect of open-plan offices; callers suggest singing and gum under tables, but neither guess is correct. The episode blends lighthearted banter, family anecdotes, and sports commentary.
Welcome to the Bow Ryan Cat and Woods ePodcast. Thanks to Linkt, get a Linktang account today to fix your unpaid tolls fast. I think it's time to start the show. Trouble and Breakfast. Bow Ryan, Cat and Woods e. Sydney's longest running breakfast team. Just don't ask how. It's time to start the show. Back out at Sydney. The main area where we all are painting and the people that are waiting for their paintbrushes. He goes, "Here are boys." He goes, "Here are boys." He goes, "Here are boys." He goes, "Oh, miss. I found your favorite paintbrush." He goes, "Oh, miss. I found your favorite paintbrush." Oh, Sebastian, put it back. Oh, Sebastian, put it back. And we got, has that been used before, miss? Oh, God. I'm starting to realize that this didn't make the show. That is my story, friends. That is sensational. What was the deal though doing in the back room? Was it yours? You think 15-year-old me would have asked, "Is it yours?" Yes, I did ask her and she just said, "Don't be like that Aaron. Don't be like that." The teachers tried to chase my mate together and then we started throwing around like a gromba. What are the funniest things I've ever done? Well, you started fighting like Monty Puff and the Holy Grail. How's your weekend, gang? That's good. That was yours, Kat. No, I went to visit, you know how I babysitted the, my God daughters, friend of my weekend. They had a thank you dinner for me on Friday. So you must have been well. Yeah, I got some feedback from the girls. Yeah, it was nice. It's so funny their perception of you because, you know, I think I carry myself in the back room. I think I carry myself in a certain way, like put together, you know, stable or go to the rest of it. Come on, you got our attention. The little one who's only six said to me, I was like, "Ah, so how did you go? What was your overall thoughts about the great Aunty Kat?" And she's like, "You're crazy Aunty Kat. You took us to the pub and you've got two tattoos." So in my mind, I'm really put together, but in their minds, I'm like a step away from Long Bay. You're a man. Hey, you should step away. You're half a step away. You're your one foot in. You're crazy. You went to your mate Uncle Bowie. I wouldn't do that to him this way. Actually, they were bad guys. They love energy. They love energy. We're fun. I'll tell you what, you're not cops. You're not a cop with my weekend. I had a rugby league gala down Saturday. Oh, what? For four or five hours at a park, they were so put in this way. So under sixes, under sevens, under eights. Ten teams in each age group. And it's a place, it's called Skull Bropark. Down sort of the back of Ramsgate there. Yes. There is no parking. None. I had to park about a K and a half of the way from the ground. Oh, I'm curious. I'll go there for the markets. I'll get sent there to get vegetables. You have to park it. It's a knoller's easier. And there's a thousand kids there. Oh, and then with three kids dragging them along a cat for them, that's the city that served. But in the oven as well. Oh, I forgot the gap there. Yeah. But she runs marathon. She's all good. She's good as a girl. Gala day. Can you sugar them up after each game? Yeah, and you're too far going. You don't know whether to keep giving them sugar or hands or something. I just kept giving them more sugar, man. Oh boy. Keep giving them more than, you know, the worst part was the crash in the afternoon. Oh. That's when you're handing them back. Oh. I don't get to hand them back. That's where you went wrong, mate. Why do order had a semi-fondle and under 14, so I'm not going to do it. Oh, really? How was it? Day one. Yes. Yes. Had him in tightness leading it to the game. So, of course. Be careful. Because he has to be careful. He has to be careful. He's very, very careful. Dazzle on the knee. But she's, you know, needs a knee strap. I said, babe, it's a car. It's like, you need to come and strap Remi's knee. This is how the seat that the store went. Yeah. Come and strap Remi's knee. I said, why strap her knee? She's got a nasal. So, come in. Look at it. Look at it lay down. She's got a tight, hammy top of the car. It's back end of the season. Any hamstring stretches? Well, there's plenty of hamstring stretches, but they go with their growing. And the grounds this time of year, there's only two conditions there. Wet or rock hard because it's dry. There's no middle ground. So, I said, Daly, you just got to get through a couple more. It could be the last game of the year. I'm not strapping your knee. I'm not a strapper. No, you need to strap a knee. I said, it's, it's hammy to, why am I arguing with you guys? It's hammy tightness. So, she needs the rock tape. You know the tape that you put on? Yep. So, I'll go and get that. And then I realised, why are they explaining to me what the injury is? My wife who has never played sport. And my daughter, who doesn't care about sport. So, I got the rock tape on. Put it all up. Put it on the side of a knee. You know, when you rock tape. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Put it all up the back. Put it on the side. And then I spoke to the coach. He is going to rest of this week because we're winning and we're going to, we've got the ground final. Oh, beautiful. Oh, good practice. Good practice. All roads lead to Sunday because my wife had a 40th in the afternoon and it was one of her close friends. So, it was going to be one of them, you know. Last night. Last night. Oh, do we get a little bit of luck here? Of course not. Oh, no. She would have been having a certain time. I just said, "Dulland, you're whatever you want." Yeah. Just be home before I leave. Right? Yeah. And she'd have a pound-spin boy. Yeah, I know, but if she's not home, what do I do? No, she'd come home while after that. You trusted her. Yeah, I had my kids, obviously, and my daughter went with her friends to the dragon shark scaring. I love her. When I watched that, and I had my little man sitting there.
- He's a man-new versus a man-new. - Yeah, the boy. - One of them are gonna do. He said, "Let's go to, let's go to time zone." - I love the boy. - Well, he wanted to go to Swapa first, but it was close and he goes, "Let's go to time zone." I said, "Cool, it's in the same street as the pub where I'm dropping carer up." - Oh, brilliant. - So we've got six, five or six time zone cards. I said, "Mate, there could be money on one of them." I know that there's a lot of money on one 'cause they do the time and a half points. So we've loaded one up, we take them all, I drop my wife off. As I drop her off, the forties kicked off. So sharks, dragons, have kicked off. The game is in Cogra, but everyone in Cranull is watching it. - Yeah. - What to do? - It's a big game. - Yeah, and this is the main joint, that park Bavillion down there, it's Palm. - Oh, yes. - So we go down to time zone, I get in there, they're all great. As I get to time zone, I realize I've left me find it home. - Oh, no. - And that would have rattled you. - You've got to prove on the phone, on the app how many points you've got, how many dolls you've got. So I rush home, get me find it in the little man's very antsy. Come back, can't find a park for a while, 'cause it's in Cranulla. End up getting one, walking, by the hour it's quarter to five, the little man's taying off, we go in, I said, hey mate, it's time zone's empty, it's great. I said, mate, here's the all that cards, he has this one's got the dollar, this one's got nothing, this one's not, no, no, I said cool, but what's this one on the screenshot here? I took a photo of my wife says, she has the app, there's about 500 bucks on her, he goes. Yeah, I'm gonna need to see the app. I said, well there he's the photo of it, and his name's Jesse, I'm the, there's the surname, he's me driver's license, it's the exact same. He's, unfortunately mate, he was really good, but he goes, I'm gonna have to see the person who has the app, I said, well it's my wife. She's had a couple of sherbys. Yeah, and she's at a 40th, so. Yeah, who can she come? I said, mate, she's been drinking for an hour down the road, and she's at one of her close friends 40. And I don't really wanna have this conversation with her. Correct, he said, can you get her? I said, mate, you go get her. Good luck, in fact I dare you. He goes, can you get her phone? I said, that's not a bad idea. I think that's a good way. So I run down to the pub, I said to him, mate, I just trusted him with two Islanders in Times Island, I said, don't let this kid leave, right? And they said, yeah, all good. I ran straight down to the pub, talked to the security guards, all good. I said, mate, my wife, he's up at a 40th, I gotta get in there. She's at the back, he said, listen, man, it's pumping. I put your hood on, put your hood on. I got trackies on, I got a hood on, he goes, I got a cover, sprint up, sprint to the back of it, get the phone, come back. And when she comes, when you come back, give us the phone, we'll take it back. I sprint and I'm sprinting through the pub, through the restaurants, through the pub. I get to the back room and they're all in there, so they're behind a door and I said to the bartender, I said, where are they? They made the girls are in there and I'm talking 20 girls. I opened the door and they think it's a stripper. Oh no. Oh no. Did you give it a performance? Why did you take me shirt off? Of course. I wouldn't let the pants on, it wasn't much to show. Oh no. You can tell by the way he knows his sport. This is sports report. And his is report. Woodsy sports report. Woodsy big weekend of games. Yeah, it's massive yesterday afternoon, cat, the local derby, dragons taking on the sharks. Unbelieveable scenes there, actually, go grab because this is the dragon. They got up 24/16 against the sharks, the sharks very disappointing because they're on, they're in the fall, they're still in the top four with the four and against, but they're equal points with the dolphins. They could have got a little bit of a, little bit of breathing space, but geez. Bad time to tip them to win the comp. Bad time to, I'm just, I've got stupid faith. You stupid faith? 100%. So you got to lose one around here. They were there on a hot spot. Do you reckon this is sort of the, the derby's the bad one to lose by. Oh, you can't lose the, the derby's the, the dragons were the better saying, sharks had heaps of chances, me. The sharks had heaps of chances. And it's saying that like the dragons, I feel like they've brought a lot of players in for next year and they could be sort of saying, well, I just come over this season then, but they're actually finishing the season off on a bit of a high. So they needed to lose that actually. Sharks, they've got a soft jaw running there. They've got a really soft jaw coming back. Coming in for the positive. You've been Fred Michelin. Yeah, you're me. I'm with this poor, poor, poor, I mean, he couldn't convert the first goal. And he missed the conversion. And then he got held up by Gartus and he couldn't ride it. But the biggest news at the weekend, guys, Friday night, a Zayio with a pen and a panthers goes down with what could be a suspect torn pectoral muscle. Have they confirmed it? They haven't confirmed it yet. They're gonna get results today. I personally think they've already got the results to keep me in the house. So do I. It's a big blow. He's the Australian Nusawales captain. It'll really mount for all of that because it's like a 12 to 14 week injury. Touch wood that it's not as bad as first. Well, hopefully it's like the apicorisale one where it's maybe a week or two. Yeah, but it's hard to play with that, mate. He's very hard to play with that. And the performance on that night by the Warriors, they have just sort of said, hold my beer, boys. We are still in here. Luke Metacuffey as you call him. Metacuffey. Oh, take a bow. First game that's a Warriors to try as men and match performance. But for me with the panthers, I think we're going to see the best in Nathan Clirion now. I think there's a lot more ownership on him now with the side. You see a Zayio. He plays a lot of shape at the back to him. I reckon he'll play on the boy who'll be a lot more flattened fast. I reckon this could be a big opportunity for the panthers. He loves complete control, Nathan Clirion. Does he? What? So who wins the comp guys? The panthers miss missing their captain. The Warriors locked and loaded. Red clip for St. Alfred's going, hang on. We're still hanging around. The roosters are just already there. Can we just say no one has spoke about the roosters? The roosters are there because no one likes the roosters. But the roosters are just, mate, they're like the old just, you know, fly under the radar. They are. They are a very strong team. I'm sorry that just absolutely filthy that someone's come out of the woodwork. They can't rebase our board of DJ. Yala, you are a dead set. Get back in your hole. You are a board of one. They could have won it. Yala, get back in your hole. We must find another brain. You're crazy. It's time to test the statistical knowledge of Sydney's brain's trust. With a guy that's the complete opposite of a genius. It's time for. Bo. No. I'll tell you what, we look after people with prizes for bonos. $200 to spend at the Meat Man Hullsale meets Narellon if he can nail this stat once again. That's a bit of rump. Blades. Today's a Monday question. Yep. 18% of employees say this is the most annoying thing about open-plan offices. What is it? Open-plan offices. We've got them here. So is that where you can just see everyone up here? Yeah, right. If you look around, it's just you can walk up to anyone's office or anyone's desk. Yeah, well, you see no one all the time. Yeah. I've had a couple complaints about myself. Oh, what? Going to people's little desk and pinching their chocolates. Oh, yeah. You've heard this about you. That's okay. You can do that. You do the right thing, though, which is unlike most of the other previous footballers that joined us here. There's collars right here. So I go down and get one of those fun packets. You bring fuel. Yeah, I bring fuel. Yeah. No one else does that. I remember when I first coming, he. I remember when the sailor, he used to tell me, he goes, "May, whatever's on the test, you can have." Yeah, that's the test. T-shirts, just pick him up and take a nap. Yeah, that's not true, Del. That is. We had not. This isn't Del, but there was another person working here. But you know, Del would have put him back there, would have put him back there. Oh, no, wait. No, no. Is everyone loves the big Del? No, no. I mean, he'd have announced it. So he'd be honest about it. But we had another person that worked here for many years. Okay. And they were notorious for anything that wasn't nails and deaths. I know who he is. I know who he is. And at one stage, at the point, where there was like a case of wine that a client had gifted to the sales team to say, "Thank you so much for your hard work." It was gone the next day. And then you just see the camera is him walking to his car with the. There's two people. There's two people on my mind. Gus Wallen, my client. It was possibly him. Oh, the MG. The MGs defense. They're not sending it to it. The wine pen folds aren't going, hey. They send it. He's half. Let's send six bottles of wine to the sales team. No way. They want MG drinking. Yeah, that's true. But the funny thing is, they just. They've got to a point where they just call him, go, "MG," and he go, "All right, it's in the car." And they've been. No, we're on with that. We've got a panic. Come on. I take pens. Do you? Yes, I'll be on it. Let's all be on it. I take. You're a bad man. I take. And I don't replace them. Because someone steals them from me. What do you take? While we're all being honest. I don't think I'd take it. I don't want anything. Oh, there we go. You just want to see what's in the box as a bogus. Actually, I'll rip open your. Yes. That's not great. Actually, that's okay. But we have a. Like a really. You get good stuff. We share. No, you get great stuff. We share. We don't really have any to share catnob. No, I don't have anything to bring to the table, but you get good boxes to open. What's mine is yours. Thank you. I'd love that about you. That's a blessing. All right. I had a set of employees. I was going to say something, but anyone I ruined the mood. 18% of employees say this is the most annoying thing about having an open-plan office. What is it? Would he say stealing stuff off the desks? Of course. Stealing stuff off the desks. In correct, Sydney, do you know what it is? One triple three, five three. 18% of employees say it's the most annoying thing about open-plan offices. What is it? Or it could be an open-plan factory. Yes. Whatever it is. Watch all the best bits of Bow Ryan, Cat and Woodsie on Instagram. Follow @tripleam Instagram. Let's go to our callers. Bronwyn from Campbelltown. Welcome to Bow Cat and Woodsie. Good morning, team. Hello. Good morning. We're good. Are you in on your way to the office? Yes, I am, unfortunately. What's the most annoying thing about that? When people sing and they can't sing. Oh, Jesus. I love that. Please have a crack. Come on. I know, but when I stand up, I get my cat and that's not the way to sing. Come on, Ronny. I know, I'm so happy. Now I'm drowning in the flow See I've always been a fighter, Bronnie, but without you I give up I can't seem to love someone, love the way it's meant to be Well I guess I'm not that good anymore But baby that's just me And I will love you Alright, it was Bronnie and Kretz, singing over us I reckon that was probably 80% That was a bit of fun though But we've changed her mind anyway, she likes singing out of us here What are you doing, Dean? Bronnie's stay there, we'll sort you out with the prize for joining in on the contest We should get her a meet and greet, we bond Jovey That's how we come, can't get that Alright, let's get a coil from the Hawkesbury, coil, welcome to Monday Good morning everyone, how are we? We're a big two good mate Oh we're going to send it to the logo, we're going to send it to the logo Sorry, call one sec brother, we are sending, we're going to send Bronnie to the logo, oh sit with her Wow, I'll say it to the table 400 Alright, coil bro, what do you think it is? 18% of employees say this is the most annoying thing about open plan officers, what he got for us mate? My wildest guess would be sticking gum under a cable Now I know, I worked in a commercial office maybe a year and a half ago And I had to rip out so many tables, I found so much gum under the table So I just reflashed back to that and I would take a wild guess that it would be that And you know when sometimes you sit under then you start picking away at it And you're not even thinking about it and then it suddenly dawns on you Like I've just put my fingernail through someone else's gum What we should do guys, we should do a gum check here at the offices And that actually scares me, when I was in high school, I was in gum in school one day I had to go for a saturday detention and get gum off the bottom of the table I was on saturday three hours, the worst thing ever We'd worse, spatula or something No, like a little blade thing, it was the worst thing ever Saturday school uniform You think you're too smile with you when you get the tattoos you're like, oh that's mad at the system But then they do in school suspension And these are in kit on a saturday in the saturday suspension They hurt Alright, Kyle says when fellow workers put gum under the table In correct order It's a very niche but good guess though, because it's only 18 years Yeah, yeah Kyle do you want to go to Logan? Can we send him to the ladies? Yeah, you're going to Logan Everyone gets in line Everyone gets in line What is the answer? The answer, 18% of employees say this is the most annoying thing about open plan offices What is it? Co-workers flirting with them Damn, I've never had that What's annoying about that? Oh no, where are they? Yeah, I love a little guy You don't like it, you know if you still got it When's that going to start? Yeah Obviously, Nika coming to me a little bit a couple times I thought he was just being friendly Oh, we call it Yeah Torch and his pocket Now, Woodsy has a full household Oh yeah Every single day, especially with Sarah being pregnant Sometimes I forget, especially being your money, mates and cat and I speak about you've got You've got Buster, you've got Coco, you've got Little Mac and now Bun and the other You've got to keep a handle on everything as well and sometimes I haven't two kids I forget about Jesse the youngest It can be hard at times in like I love having these chats because I like being open and showing other people What's real, you know We like to have a bit of fun and take the piss But the other night over the weekend So I have Buster sleeping with me on the weekends of having a bit of fun Like we got a bit later Mackey boy, like they come in watch a little bit of the iPad or watch my phone and we'll show some funny prank videos And then we go to sleep, right? So I had Buster and Mackey sleeping with me and you know, you go to sleep before sleep Wake up at about, probably about 1 o'clock just to do a wee Oh, late Yeah Oh, the kids are really fine He's three year old son and seven But come back from the toilet and just to back just go to lay down again And Mac sits up And he's like, you know, when they're awake but they're not awake And then he starts sort of shaking And he's like, that, that, that, that, like and then he just stands up off the bed Like this is a three year old kid And then he's like sort of like, that scared, scared that scared that scared that And like to the point, like you know when like you're tense up real and you're shaking Like he starts farting, like because that's how tense he was And like, mate, I've never seen this before And like, I started sort of like, you know, I had Sarah who was in the other room And because she's got the, the bulb in the, in the bed, I didn't want to wake her up And you know, and sort of make her worry But like all myself as a father, like I've got no idea what's happening right now And like it's to the point where I'm nearly tearing up because he's like I said he's there But he's not there in the, in the mind And I'm trying to come to hey buddy, Mackey daddy's here, daddy's got you I'm cuddling him, I'm trying to kiss him But he's just gone down scared, he's trying to push me away Then buster sort of wakes up with me and get dad what's wrong, like what's happening with Mac And it was the weirdest thing, and it lasted for about 10 minutes And that he, that was like the longest 10 minutes of my life Like I was trying to come, but then literally at the doctor of about 10, 11 minute mark He's, does a deep breath and then just goes back to sleep again And I'm like, what have I just gone through for the last 10 minutes So you know, you do, you go on your phone, you go to Google, I'm googling up everything And I've got to a night terror, oh how I have never seen anything like it before my life I have them as kids, but like you don't know what you're doing, you know, I always have to care As a parent, I was like, I was helpless to my son Like and I was trying so hard like to cuddle him and like he would recognize me But you could tell like you know that, it was really looking someone in the eye and they're talking about it No one's home, like it's just, he's there but he's not there I've never felt more like helpless Helpless, helpless in my life, like a worthless to my kid Like I was trying so hard to get him together And then literally after that 10 minute period, he just lays down like it's nothing's happening Does he say anything in the morning? No, nothing, nothing, no, but the way he said, that scared like it was like actually in like a panic And I was like, that's what got me, I was like, oh geez, what's happening here And then I just said like I'm trying to cuddle him, I'm trying to calm him down, settle him down But he's trying to push me away at something and they get so strong like they're trying to push him I'm like mate, then you feel like you're trying to really hold him in tight And I go to the point I was like, I was going to tear it up myself, I was like what is happening here But you did the right thing, I mean as a dad, you know, it doesn't matter if dad, mom or dad But as a leader of the family, mom, dad whoever it is, yeah, you got to make it cool And you made the right call mate, 'cause what are you supposed to do? You don't know, mate My whole wing and it mate, everyone I'm still winging it with the teenager And these, my parents are winging it with me But I'm sure there are people listening That's usually like, you know what I'm doing? But I'm going through it right now, there might be sleep talking, walking and it's shocking And I don't know what to do And I don't, yeah that's the thing, like I don't know what if I did the right thing Or what are you supposed to do with the night terror? Can we actually throw it out there? One triple three five three Have you gone through this with your kids? A lot of people have been helped A lot of people have been helped, yeah Was there a solution that you found? Did it go away, did it happen when they were younger? Is it start up or is it now? Yeah, yeah I would love to know one triple three five three This wasn't well received in our group chat No, it wasn't We've got printed out in front of us because I'm not good with phones WA Premier Roger Cook is offering $20 million to host a 20, 28 NRO grant final in Perth What? And he's raising it because if it clashes with Pope Leo the 14th's visit on the same October long weekend It's like hang on a second, first things first, okay They want the grant final, which doesn't make sense No, you're not going to have it, so their reasoning is the Pope's coming over There's half a million Catholics that are going to go and see the Pope Not on our watch guys, they're going to have the grant final No way So Q Premier Chris Minnes, he's rejected the idea as any good leader does Say, Sydney can host both being the number one city in the country I added the number one city in the country, mind you Peter Vlandis, the NRO boss proposed a compromise Here's the leader in the businessmen Keep the grant final in Sydney, he says, but shift it a week later Use the Pope visit to spark a week of city celebrations And we will explore further options in a year's time That's a smart idea That's a sense 2027 Mind you Perth coming, there's And 2028 P and Genie Yep Let's talk to the leader of this state Let's get the leader on Let's let's watch Yeah, can we reach out to Minzy place Well, we can't let this gather, we can't, we Sydney, everyone listening Is nodding in their car, we can't let this gather any, we can't let it snowball No, we're not losing the grant final to Perth No, we're happy their Perth Beers are going to be in the competition Well, you can have the best, you can have the best You can have the best, even though they're the city Not the Holy Grail Even though they're Sydney, you can have them Yes, you had a great, you had a great run But Jersey presentation, we're happy for you Yep Yes, you have some wonderful commodities that we would like Wonderful wine Wonderful beaches Wonderful beaches How good are the beaches there? Does he deserve a loggy? I think so. Yeah, you want to. Yeah. John, you are off to the loggy. Considering they made it up. Considering they made it up in like two minutes. Yeah, that's great. Now in case you missed it, Sydney, our man Aaron Woods told a story that had us in stitches. We need early shifts. We'll keep it a little bit more tidy. Okay. Well, we had to we had to. This is the PG version. Yeah. You said it's a bird. It's a M 15 plus version. Okay. It's a P but train PG and M but Sydney, if you missed it, here it is. So there's one day we obviously art class. You're doing your painting sort of stuff and then we ran out of the brushes for the amount of the class of 30 students in the class. So he goes in the back room. We want you to go get some more paintbrushes. To one of my mates, the great man said goes to the back room. He goes in searches for a couple extra paintbrushes. As he comes back into the main area where we all are painting, he goes here our boys, he's five paintbrushes and then he goes to his blazer jacket pocket and he goes, oh, miss, I found your favorite paintbrush and who are whoops out a big blue. It was one of the biggest things I've ever seen in my life. It was unbelievable. Very real life too. For those that missed the description, it was a lifelike one. It'll be on our podcast, right? It'll be on the winning podcast. The full versions of the podcast, people go tuning. You don't want to miss that. It's the best when you find out something about your teachers. It's weird because it's just to you back then they're not human. That's right. Yeah. The fun thing was I did bump into that teacher a little bit later on down at Concord, Majes Bay Road and miss how's the extra curriculum going? Poor thing, it was probably Mr Jenkins but she just took the fall for it. She adds out to Mr Jenkins. I mean, can't you write finding out stuff about the teachers? I mean, it wouldn't be fun like you guys, but it can also be not fun. I would have been a frustrating student to teach. I can imagine. I reckon. Yeah. I didn't like sitting in the same place for long. We know that. How many we breaks at school? We or we'd we know. No, I mean, look, I'd stall my piss breaks would be for 40 minutes, right? Especially if I had a double, which are 44 minute, I was going to say episodes, 44 minute classes. But my I had a teacher, I won't say what type of class it was because people were down there. Yeah, look like Shane Wong. Oh, warning. And you had the warning here and that cargo shorts and he really made it tough on me. Yep. And I mean, look, you can only do so much as a student as you get older. You give it back, right? But I guess the age, especially as a growing teenage boy, he's nearly having two and frozen. I'd always get in school suspensions or ones on weekend, which is a really hard. Yeah. You know, set the intentions was shocking. Well, detentions were great, but in school detentions were really hard suspensions and it detentions. They were hard because you're in the office and whatnot. I don't know. Like I was trying to do my best, but I struggled to listen. But there was one time, probably year 11, we'll go and back and forth and I got in a lot of trouble, got suspended and all that. And the hardest thing, because I was trying to find dirt on him, we're trying to find something. And I found out some information that I probably didn't want. Oh, what? He was my cousin. Oh. Oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Yes. This sucked in. And I was like, why do I hate this person so much? And I'm like, 'cause it reminds me of me. Haven't mentioned how horrified he was when he found out. Did he know that he was, I think he knew or love it so much. Because he'd walk you in. Be a lot with you, rearing warning and all that. No, look back and I'm like, mate. Oh. Can't choose family guy. No, you can't be family. This is a good one to throw out there. One triple three five three. What did you find out about your teacher? Yeah, and kids at large. I mean, obviously, you know, above board. We don't want people. No, exactly. But quite often you see them outside of school or two years later when you graduate. Oh, my God. I do not know that. Well, well, well, Rebecca from Camden is cool. Welcome to the show. Beck. Hi, how are you? Good. We're excited for your story. I found out that one of the teachers ended up marrying one of the students when we had left. Whoa. Whoa. So what was the? What was the difference here? I mean, 10 years. How long after the school that they got married? I think maybe five years because she was in the year of office at school so we found
- I was gonna ask that back. I was like, was the walk, was the teacher a woman or a man? - The teacher was a man. - Okay. Now, all right. So, for a few years, okay. And they're still together, big or kids, will they? - Yeah, I think they're still together. They probably do have kids by now. I wasn't friends with her. She was an interesting person. - Yeah. - I mean, if you're gonna date one of the teachers, yeah, you're not one of us. - No. - No. - Respectfully. - Shout-out to everyone out there with one of the teachers at the moment. Good on your back. I like that you bite your tongue a bit and so weird. - That's the good way. - It's like she wants to sail a call, but she's really bad. - They sail a call, but she's really bad. - We are picking up where you're putting down back, but we appreciate your call. That's what we're talking about, Sydney. Let's get a Brendan from Borkham Hills. Brendan, welcome to both Catwoods, you mate. - All right, boys and girls. - Good good, Brendan. - Going well. What did you find out about one of your teachers? - Okay, I was about 16 and I had a fake one day and I went to show girls in Kings Cross. - Wow. - And when we went in there, we ended up seeing one of the teachers miss (beep) at the time and yeah, when she was a stripage, two minutes later, I actually kicked her straight out. - I made a friend and daddy's one of the greatest stories of all time. What was it like at school on Monday morning brother? - Oh, yeah. - Who was it? - It was you, it was you, it was you, it was you. - Yeah, I can imagine. - Watch all the best bits of Bo Ryan, Cat and Woodsie on Instagram. Follow @tripleminstagram. (upbeat music) - Here he is, the leader of New South Wales and our very first guest on the triple amp breakfast boat out in Woodsie. - Chris Mann is the premier of Bo. - Thanks guys, thanks for having me on. - Thanks for coming in on such short notice and turning around from whatever you were doing. It means a lot to us. - What a legend. First things first mate. This whole Roger Cook, the premier of WA's offering 20 million to host the 2028 NRL Grand Final in Perth. You are quoted in here because he's saying it's gonna clash with when Pope Leo the 14th comes over, which is the same weekend allegedly. What's the answer to this? Do we shut it down right now or? - Yeah, well we're negotiating with the NRL at the moment and- - Is that Mr. Pit of Lentie? - Yes, he's just a hard-to-go-shared process. - He's the best in the business now. - He's very tough. - Yes, he is. - You haven't met the triple embosses. (laughing) - So we're working with him and the NRL, but we wanted it in Sydney. It's a Sydney institution. - We're trying to get, I mean, I love rugby league and we wanted it as the spiritual home of rugby league worldwide. But also for the state, it's a good investment for us because we're trying to get annual events, things that are on at the same time. Each year people can plan their interstate travel. We get better at marketing it. It becomes a strong part of what we're offering the state. I think Victoria does it really well with the Australian Iop and the Grand Prix and we want to get those annual events. So we're trying to do that with UFC, we're trying to do that with NRL. And that's our plan. - What would be ideal? Like bring it a week forward or a week after? Would he just said to me before we came when he goes, oh, they're not on the same day, are they? (laughing) - Look like on the weekend. - One could be on a Saturday, one could be on Sunday. - It's been a whilst since you've been to church, clearly. - It's a long way. - It passes on Sunday. - I've been church every Sunday. - Hey man. - Is there a last one Saturday morning? - No, well when the person. - No, it's a Sunday and look, I mean look, I'm a man of faith. There's a million people in this state that I'm obviously a believer say, you don't make people quit, like you're not gonna make people make a decision and 100%, but there is a world we can leave and where we can do both. It's what you're saying. - Yeah, that's right. Well, I mean, we've got to work out the timings. It's obviously a really important visit for Catholics and I'm a Catholic and we're also negotiating with the Catholic Church. - We're just gonna be in one big room. - Yeah, I'll see how that goes. - You're gonna love your confession segment next. (laughing) - By the way, would you rent a Catholic school? Just get a Catholic school. - We just got a great story about it. It's hard to get wanting a blogger. - Stop. - Would you do a blue deal though or a red one? - We can't talk about it after. - I can't, you've got a very important question. 'Cause why are you here? I mean, thank you for turning around and addressing this, but there's a lot of other issues the state has and that you're going through at the moment. You're doing a wonderful job. - Yeah, what I love is I was a renter for a very, very long time in very different, a lot of different properties and you're bringing in something new to address the rental bond situation. 'Cause I remember you'd leave a rental property. You'd either be, you know, the lease was up and then you'd have to fork out thousands of dollars for another bond while you waited for it to get that bond back from the previous property. So we're trying to, we are getting and starting a portable bond scheme. So yeah, you'll have to get your bond for your first property, but we know that in many cases you might go to a few different properties and finding maybe four grand cash to give the real estate agent is a huge burden. So we'll allow it so that you can take the bond from your first property to your second property. It'll be held in trust and that's a cash that you don't have to come up with. We know it's going to be paid back eventually when you leave the property, but that could be, you know, a long time down there. - Yeah, and if you're bouncing from property to property to property, we're trying to level the playing field for renters because they're getting absolutely hosed in our market at the moment. - And how long have you been in this business? - As long as we're with landlords as well. - But that was going to be my next question, Premier, what happens if there's some damage to the property, say you're the landlord, do you pay that person their bond straight away and how does the landlord get their money back for it? - Yeah, no, well, it'll be held in trust by the government rather than by the real estate agent. So that if there's a call on it from the landlord, it'll come via that fund, rather than having to come out of the property. - Oh, beautiful. - Hey, hang around, don't go anymore. - You'll still be liable if you cause damage to the property. - You're just going to pay that. - You just don't want to come out of the pocket of the landlord. - Well, have a little bit more fun. I mean, Kat solved it before he came in. She pays cash for properties now. So she doesn't have to worry about the rent from my property. - Hey, you posted something last night on your Instagram, they really grabbed my attention. About North Crunella Surf Life Saving Club, an investment that NSW State Government is making, because it's been an ISO for a very long time. I live in Crunella, I'll be honest about everyone knows. But you guys have, you've joined in, because last from January 2024, it has just been a mess and it's all to do with surf life saving. I mean, if you go down to the bait bay, if you go down to Crunella, you'll see that there's beautiful surf club at allure and wonder and obviously South Crunella, but North Crunella had begun a renovation but had stopped almost overnight. And it's been an ISO for a long period of time. No fault for the volunteers that run the surf life saving club, they've been trying to get it up and running. It's not an easy thing to do when you run a volunteer organisation and you're providing life saving services for free, for free for the public. So we made a decision to do a couple of things firstly, fast track the planning so they can get up and running sooner. And then $10 million from the New South Wales government alongside Sutherland Council, so as we can start construction as soon as possible. I think demolition should be completed, certainly started in the next couple of months and I've been completed by Christmas and then we can get on with building it, long over June and I know it's a huge part of life down in the shore. - It's a great spot right where it is as well. - 100%. - Yeah. - I'm doing a renovation, it leads me to my next question. I'm doing a renovation. I mean, I don't need 10 new. - Okay. - But 10% of 10 is like one, man. - One new. - We're like, where are we at with that? We're on life, like I think. - Yeah. - Don't answer it now. - Yeah, like don't answer it now. - This is crazy. - He's been told a hard one. - No, I love it. No, it's only good if you're not in order. - Yes. - Well, this is a place where we can all win. - The anti-strires could be played at the eyecax. - Yeah, you're just feeding the feeders for this. I found out something about it. - I'm not feeding feeders. - I'm sorry. - I'm just a straight note. - Okay, let's do it. - I'll bring this feed for me. - Hey, can you play the fifth for me? And I'll take that as a yes. - We did some make that clear. I found out something about you. It was interesting. When you in here last time you did a great Trump impersonation, I then went to go for a surf at Urban Surf. And one of the guys in my session was like, "Minds is a big surfer." We seem in the surf quite a bit. I didn't know that. - Yeah, well, I enjoyed out there. It's good. I mean, I'm not a great surfer, but it's good fun. And yeah, I try to go out there with all of us. - I'm trying to be doing that. - Try to keep it secret. - Do you ever get in some of those barrels like cat dogs? - I was a group. - No, that's above my school level. - Yeah, but are you on the weekends? Are you out surfing? - I like on the beaches. - I'm not surfing. - I'm not surfing. - What are you doing surf? - I was just doing stuff. - It was closing down for three weeks. And I was there yesterday afternoon. It was fun. - Yeah, what do you know I was gonna go these next three weeks? - It's gonna be warmer when it comes back. - I'm not sure. - I'm trying to get these two to come for months. Now that they know that you like to surf, they might take it up. - It's a good vibe. It's pretty chill and there's no. - Does it give you a big. - Yeah, it does. - You get your individual way. - Okay. - They say no party waves. - Okay, so more than one on the waves. - I don't know if you can do that. - Don't get it wrong. I mean to be health and fitness and urban surf, but when I can walk a hundred meters to South Cornelab Beach or drive an hour and a half to home bush and pay 48 months, I'm just gonna surf at the beach. - If it was 48. - Well, now we're at Jaxini. Price of admission, there are sharks in the ocean. So I think I'll go urban surf. I think we should all do it. We should all do it together. It'll be funny us rolling in and the secret service. Is that what we call them, your guys? We always call them secret service. What are they called? - They're just new saffron. I was pleased. They're up there. - They're up there. - They say they blend in. - They're rolled up in. - They're about 20 of them.
- You're looking for a possible first-e crew. - Yeah, quickly, we always end up, we gotta ask you about your doggies, the bulldogs. - Yeah, what's doing? - Well, they are, you know, that were gone. That were gone earlier in the year. They are back now, they've slipped out of the eye. On that year, you're a big dog's fan. You come to Bill Moore last year. Wait, you still got faith? Might they've got a good time. - Yeah, they got a great time. And I do have faith. I was a little bit worried to hear about Woodie's call on Jacob Preston. I think that since Kikao and Preston have come back in, they've been obviously injured. Kikao's wing, I think it was busted, but they've just been on fire. And I think they were the missing elements. So yeah, I'd love to see him back in the squad. There's a bit of a heartbreak on Friday night, but yeah. They just seem to have the elements to maybe make a run for it. So they can make run for it. - Last question, I know what we got. We'll say listen, triple in breakfast, live and free Sydney. We've got a celeb car wash this Friday. I know, you know I always push it. We got the public holiday across the line. What are you doing Friday between 5.30 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. Do you want to come wash cars? Or do you want to just come and watch us wash cars? - I don't want to do either. (laughing) - Oh, no. - Well, what kind of pitch is that? - Well, if you want to come and watch cars. - I know, that's as good as my pitch. We have spent all of our budget on. - We want a big set. We got Brent Reed, like, come on. - I know, we got Brent, definitely a set. We're in your bed down there. - We do need a celebrity. - All right. - We'll come up and search you guy can. - We'll try, you know what? It means you will talk off here about it. I'll pick it up, what you're putting down, you'll be there. - I'll pick it up to half, no again. (laughing) - I'm not pleading to fit. - Watch all the best bits of Bo Ryan, Cad and Woodsie on Instagram. - Follow @tripleam Instagram. - The lead up to the Logis on Sunday. Are you going? - I am going, I'm going this Sunday. - How many times have you been in total? - I didn't go when it was, I went only when to, when they moved it in the, to the Gold Coast. So it was always just a bit no-one. - Oh yeah. - Then they did a few of the Gold Coast, I only went to two there. And I've been there basically every one by one in the last 14 years. - So did Sydney now? - Since Sydney thank God. - Okay. - I didn't mind it in Melbourne, but Sydney best city in the world is on this Sunday. We should go as a team. - We should. - Crigots. - Yeah. - South belief channel 17 Nazca. - Oh, wow. - That is disappointing. - Good going. - So you're just going by yourself. - So you're just going. - No, I'm going with, I'm going with Channel 10, who I work for. - Do you get to bring a plus one or is it? - Good question. So the rules for the Logis, which I didn't know, the very first one, you can only take your partner, husband, wife, whatever, if you are up for a Gold Logi. - Right. - Or you've won one. - Really? - Yes. - Okay. - But I didn't know that. So when I went down to the first time, Carl had, might have just, he might have just won one. - Yep. - And I was speaking to his partner at the time. And so I just assumed Carl could come. - Okay. - They can't come. - I see you didn't ask. - So you just assumed. - So you took it down to Melbourne. - Yeah. - Full kit. - Yeah, yeah, she's got the dress everything. We're in the lift, going down the red carpet. It's nuts and they're like, that you can see on the people, the fixes, faces, like all the producers, the people who have done the carpet. What are you doing? I said, bring my wife, Carl, what do you mean? - Well, Jesus. - It's my wife. And they're like, you're not up for a Gold. Who cares? And they're like, well, you need to be up for a Gold. I genuinely didn't know that. And I said, the footies shows up for best. Footy sports show between 730 and 830 on a Thursday night or whatever it was. And they're like, yeah, it doesn't matter. So that was fun. Till and Carl, she couldn't come in. - Just tell you, - Get by the table's dial, I'll be back soon. - But that wasn't the bit that really got everyone's attention. - Oh, what did? As I was explaining to Carl that she couldn't, you know, politely come in and I knew how that would unfold. You know, I watched it very similar to yours. Would she, doesn't mean so. Words, you know, where you're standing, a lot of it is wearing. - Yes, what she do. - I look down and I'm like, I've got a really tough decision to make. Should I tell her a little bit of her nipples coming out? - Oh, oh. - Yes. - How good is this? - Yeah, which direction did you go in there? - I didn't tell her. So someone else told her and let's just say, I didn't see her tool much later on, but she had a nip slip. - Little bit of a nip. - I'm sure someone did, but I hardly find her as seated at the table. - Anyway, she didn't go to the next years out and she goes, I am not going to the loggies. I said, babe, you can't. Anyway, I'm not up for it. (laughing) But she did, she ended up coming. (laughing) She ended up coming this weekend though. I don't even know who's up for gold. - Robin Urban, Stanley Morris. - Stanley Morris. - Larry. - Who's the channel seven? - Well, look, hopefully we're gonna get a mad at our power show on Friday. - In the brain job. - Tony, Tony, Tony. - Who's up for the channel seven? - Oh, what's his name, son? - Look, get him out of the car wash. Apparently we're gonna introduce a new celebrity next. (upbeat music) - Oh yeah. (singing) - Car wash, yeah. - Yeah. - The car wash, our wonderful team of production here are producers. Well, they ambushed us on Friday with the idea of having a car wash, where us, Bo Catton Woodsie will physically wash listeners' cars and we've come around to the idea of- - We've come around to what was to show off your the massive BT-250. - That's the BT-250. - They were obviously giving away. - Because it was dirty. This is their reasoning. Oh, we left the car in not great condition in terms of we left cups in there. - I spooked a bit of coffee in it. - Cats were in the coffee. Woodsie vomited and it's all in it. It got, it's been clean. - Cats reverse parking. Go with the head spins, man. - We've got that. - She didn't do technically. She didn't scratch the BT-250, but if you do own that, I'll actually need a new one. (laughing) One world in Cabaretta Road. - Concord. - Concord, wonderful spot. It's gonna be packed. We've come around to the idea. We're very excited about it. And we added an element to have celebrities that help us out. Isn't that right? - That's because we have to be on air as well. So we need a draw card for while we're on air talking. They offered us our first celebrity. They surprised us on Friday. We have the first celebrity. Is this a locked in celebrity guy? - So we've got a slurry locked in. - This is the celebrity. - Yes, locked in. We can't stand it. - And we have no idea who it is. - No, on the phone line, it just says celebrity ex. - Welcome to the show. Who is it? - There's been guys, it's Reedy. - No, hey guys. - Reedy. - Oh Brent, Reedy. - Hey, Reedy, man. - We got confused 'cause at first we thought it was Richard Reed. - Yes. - Then we thought it was Tara Reed. - Yep. - Then we thought it was Reed Marnie. - Yeah. - Then we thought it was Christopher Reeves there for a bit. - Then we got stuck with Brent Reed. - Then we thought it was Steven Hawking. And now we know it is Brent Reed. - Martin. - We are very, very excited. Shouts out to Reedy. We're actually production. Look at them working around. They're working hard now. Good on them. - Good on them now that we're long. - They're gonna get Reedy and the Borat Mancini. - Oh, that would be an added element. - Come on, see me. - I'm definitely coming now 'cause I wasn't. But we have one more celebrity. - Oh, another one. - I think we're gonna add to it every day. - Oh, yes. - We are. - Well, that's what I, that's a challenge I'll give you. - They're telling us the story that we don't know. But we have a live celebrity again. We are meeting them as you meet them. Are we excited guys? - Oh, yeah. - Come on over to this. - All right, let's meet our celebrity celebrity number two. Welcome. - Hello. - Who is it? - It's the silver badger. It's Maroon. - Are you kidding me? - Maroon! - Yes! - Maroon. - I love you, Maroon, but you do work here. So, contractually, you probably should be coming to the - Yeah, you're so much anyway. - I'll bring you my dad that I don't even know to the college. - I love it. I love it, Maroon. - You said celebrity X. Now you're at Y and Z. (laughing) - No, I love you, Maroon. - I love Maroon, because Maroon felt a wonderful job the other day when he filled in for me. And they were actually in talks for us swapping jobs. That's how many of all things go well. Look out. You're on the rush hour, you do a sensational job. And I don't get to talk to Maroon that much, because the only time I talk to him is when he's texting me to say, "Hey mate, do you want to come and do a promo for me and Gundogorff for this thing then?" And I said, "No, it's 20." - So you're gonna bring the Mustang down? Can we wash that, Maroon? - No, it's not a Mustang. Mustang is, you know it's not a Mustang. - What is it? - Mustangs are for hairdressers. - Oh, it's a Chevy. - It's a Chevy. - I'll bring Maroon off. - If you say, if hurt Reynolds drives it, you can drive it. - Oh, thank you. - Hey, the punters love you, Maroon. - It's gonna be great. - We love you, Maroon. - Maroon is a big day for him as well. So shout out to Maroon, so he's locked in. Do you get on well with Ready or if you got beef? - No, no, I get on Ready. I think he's the only bloke in the world like I probably beat in a fight. - Oh, he's the only bloke at Triple M that's older than me. - Oh, great. - I've got a great idea at the end of the car wash, Maroon and Ready fought to the death. - Oh, with the suds. - I hope you're very happy. - We'll put some down at the end. - Oh, yeah, you're gonna throw up. - We'll get the gurney and wash his glasses with it. - But what about this? Instead of taking our glasses off, we swap glasses. - Oh, we'll get it. - We'll get who's who. So that's gonna get confusing. (laughing) - And we'll do it with our meta glasses, showing it. Good on you mate, listen to Maroon on the rush hour. We might appreciate it, mate. - Love you, Maroon. - You can hear him every afternoon on the rush hour with Million Hondie, does a wonderful job. So he is locked in. You heard it there, Sydney, he can't reignign on this. - No, Ready, Maroon, it'll be interesting to see who they get tomorrow. (upbeat music) - It's you Mr. Prae. It's not too late. Join into the party. - Yeah, this is where we like to visit our text line and see if there's anything we've missed on there from earlier in the show. - Yeah, and there's definitely something, I wouldn't say we've missed it. We just held it because we had the premiere of Chris Menzi. Now, would Zee for those that missed it just before 7 a.m. this morning told quite an honest and upfront,
story about his youngest son, Mack, having, you know, night terrors. And it was very emotional and it was very upfront and that's what our tardy has got to do with. Well, the three, because Max three right and we've got to assume they're listening. He's, he's not silly. No, he's not. They'd been a car right now dropping my favorite Buster this year. And my favorite cocoa. Yeah, hey guys. Now I do feel sorry for Mack and my favorite Sarah. But it's, it is a serious topic, mate. It is. Yeah. And it's something that a lot of families have to deal with. But, mate, you know what? Mack shouts out the Mac. He's in the, he's in the, he's in the, he's in the alone soldier. He's alone.
