‘House of the Dragon’ Season 3, Episode 7 Instant Reactions | The Midnight Boys

The episode promotes Super Troopers 3, a highly offensive and over-the-top sequel to the cult comedy series, set to release in theaters on August 7th. It centers on a spiral of chaos involving a bachelor party, a wedding, and a drug smuggling ring, threatening the unity of the Super Troopers. The hosts, including Steve, Almond, Jommie, and Van, share personal anecdotes from Comic-Con, including their memorable experiences at the Blurden Boogie Party and interactions with characters like Walter Jones, the Black Power Ranger. The discussion also delves into the themes of House of the Dragon, focusing on the breakdown of truth, political intrigue, and personal identity. Characters like Renera, Amon, and Orman are analyzed for their moral complexities, with particular attention to the tension between belief and principle. The hosts critique the show’s portrayal of power, inheritance, and leadership, noting how characters struggle with authenticity and public perception. The conversation includes a humorous breakdown of familial relationships, especially concerning incestuous connections, and the hosts reflect on how these elements mirror real-world social boundaries. Ultimately, the episode blends comedy, nostalgia, and deep thematic analysis to explore both entertainment and the underlying human conflicts in storytelling.

So, follow us on socials at the Midnight Boys pod on Insta and TikTok @Ringervers on Insta, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok. Show me. Sellers, man. Can you believe? Spend a week since Comic-Con, man. Don't feel like it. Don't feel like it. Don't feel like it. Don't feel like it. Don't feel like it. No, it feels like we were just there. It feels like we were just there. Well, I'm not gonna lie. It's tough. I won't go to jail. I was like, honestly, I got hit with the fatigue when we were doing the Spider-Man pod. I was like, oh my God, I just feel it all now. No, it's funny about this. Is somebody listen to this in eight years right now at work, breaking rocks? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I just feel like I shut up. Is somebody listen to this while they like, you know, like lifting fucking shit and working in quarries. You know what I like? I like jobs, shout out to jobs, man. I like jobs, I like jobs, I like jobs, I like jobs, I like jobs, I like jobs, I like jobs. I like jobs where you wrap something up, check it and then send it down the line. I don't know why I like that. I'm sorry, I get through some of my jobs where you go. The factory and you look at something. Like those Amazon boxers. Shout out to them because they need to be treated better where you look at something and you go, and then somebody else checks it and like, I was like a job where you look at something. Look at something over and you go, that's good to go. Unlike the QC at the factory. Yeah. Yeah. No, I like the Instagram videos when they did like is the one dude that's like, I'm on the line. Everybody's like, oh, look at him going crazy. All right. And like, he's the only one who can do that job to do it for 30 years. They can't replace him. I also like jobs where you sift through things and you throw out the bad ones. Like I saw this one time as a chocolate bar factory where sometimes the chocolate bars come out and then misshaped and then somebody's got to throw out the bad chocolate bar or put it back in that thing. I always wonder if you know, let me chocolate bars misshaped, but you like it, keep it a little chocolate. I love this. This is like the only produce for chocolate bars. You're looking at the Hershey factory day in day out. You don't want like, I actually think that way when I was working in fast food, I'm like, I get all the fries. I want it. You like a weekend like that. I can't do more fries. I can't look at this shit, bro. Before you used to come into my man Ryan worked at the McDonald's and so it was very funny when Ryan worked at McDonald's because Ryan worked at McDonald's like they make you so before you working McDonald's, you have to go to McDonald's school. Y'all know that. Yeah. So before you work at McDonald's or at least it used to be this way. Before you work at McDonald's, you have to go to McDonald's class. There was a place in Baton Rouge. I remember I dropped my sister off there. There was a place in Baton Rouge where you would go and you would take McDonald's courses before you worked at the McDonald's. They teach you about the law of McDonald's. You have to learn like Ronald McDonald's birthday and like, like Ronald McDonald started varsity in like 1969 playing baseball. You have to learn all of these different things about Ronald McDonald, but you have to go to McDonald's school. It's like three days before they sent you to McDonald's. My man went to McDonald's and after McDonald's school, he was like, my man Ryan was like, I don't know, bruh. He was like, what? He was like, they really care about me, I don't know, they're talking about McDonald's quality control. Like, they're talking about, there was a class about like when McDonald's changed the way they fried the fries and all of this stuff, they're talking to all of this stuff. So some of it's cleanliness and all of that stuff that you need to learn. But like, he was like, man, I thought I was going to go flip some burgers, make some bread. We go buy some video games. I don't know about this. So anyway, he first had skepticism then, then when he first started working at McDonald's, they wanted to test his allegiance to McDonald's. So they scheduled him Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, like a whole weekend. Okay. And I remember I was a ton of them, I was like, well, we going to see Independence Day nigga. And if you had me, Donald's, that's on you. We're not waiting for you to go see, we going to see Independence Day. If you working at McDonald's, when Independence Day come out, that's on you, nigga. Get the fries and we going to see Will Smith. And I remember he just lifted the guy, he goes, he goes, I'm not working. And that guy goes, you're on the schedule, you're going to work. He goes, I'm not working, I'm not coming in the whole weekend. So you need to find somebody else. And so he doesn't work. And I'm like, he's going to see Independence Day with us, right? I'm like, bro, they're going to fucking fire you. Yeah. Like you can't do that at no job, no job is going to put you on the schedule at a fast food chain. And a fast food chain, like you, like you can't do that. And he's like, they're not going to fire me. He's like, nah, bro, they're not going to fire me. They found somebody else to cover it. I'm going to go back in there Monday. I'm like, are you on the schedule Monday? He's like, I normally on the schedule Monday. So I'm just going there and going, that's insane. So he goes in there. Oh my God. And he goes in there and to do what is there and he walks, he said, I walked in. And the first thing I noticed was that my name was like crossed out the schedule. They didn't call them. They wanted him to come in and get fired from McDonald's in person. There's the McDonald's at the corner of Burbank and in Baton Rouge, right? Like they wanted him to come in and see that he was fired. Collarious. So he goes in and he sees his name cross off on the schedule and the guy goes. Well, you said you wouldn't work the weekend. So unfortunately, this is what we had to do now. It was a standoff because that guy wanted Ryan to ask for his job back. But Ryan was too proud. So if he would have asked for his job back, then he would have gotten it. He probably would have gotten it. Okay. But Ryan was too proud to ask for his job back. So he was fired. I thought this was guy, I was like, yeah, don't fucking like beg these motherfucking clowns and McDonald's be a job back, but my man Chris was pissed at. Right? Yep. I understand. No more McNuggets. Right. Well, you got love with the McNuggets, but to bring the story full circle. But y'all wasn't real friends where you're like, if he's the McNuggets plug, we go see the independent state without you, but we'll roll back on your day off. This is too valuable. Twice. I mean, that's a girl. This is my very best friend in the world, like since first grade, I just let him know. If you think I'm about to miss out on the opening weekend of Independence Day, because you got scheduled on the Friday side, I can't do it. You got to make some sacrifice. He's okay. You got a problem with your pressure. No. And that just to bring it back. So Chris was pissed off that we got no more McNuggets, because this one wheels really was going crazy on the McNuggets. We going in, we get the 20-piece McNuggets, Ryan put 40 fucking McNuggets in the thing. Wow. We going nuts and McNuggets. We going crazy on the McNuggets. We are going crazy on the McNuggets. So like to me, I always thought, like y'all thought, like nigga, nigga, I'm gonna wake up, have a big Mac for breakfast. - Right. - I mean, there's a certain youth that can do that. - All in all, yeah, but it took three months for him to never. - It took one summer at Applebee's, never again. That two for 20. - Applebee's. You don't want to eat it. Applebee's not Applebee's delicious. - Diggie. I saw it. They got prisoners. - What the fuck? What the fuck? What the fuck? - Diggies. Diggies. - Nah, nah, nah. I saw him do both. - Two for 20 is a sentence, 'cause that's what it is. - What? - I ain't got a dark guy. - It's crazy. Come on, man. - It's crazy. Come on. - Chili's all of these places now. - Now, you never go get me off of these jobs. - We supposed to go to Chili's all of them. - Nah, first time you see them bring out. You're like, "Oh, an order is soup." You see a brick of frozen soup. They just pop that bitch into microwave and like, "Pop the fuck is staking the microwave." I'm like, "Oh, I don't care." - Well, to staking the microwave, that's tough. - Stake goes into microwave? - I've seen some meats go, and then they just do a nice sear. - That's not what you want, man. - That's not what you want. - That's not what you want, first stuff, but, you know. - Dalaritas, they bring out the big plastic tongue. - Let's see what the Tiktok has been exposing a lot. - The Margaritas are a daughter. I know what you're expecting. - It's still going to be made in the book. - Speaking of having fun, we have fun at Comic Con. We ain't really talking about it. So, before we get into House of the Dragon, we haven't even got to programming reminders before I took a long-winded story about my youth. The midnight boys are back. Before we get into House of the Dragon, we should talk about the fact that we had a lot of fun at Comic Con. Now, we were bonding. - We were bonding. - It was fraught with the Marvel Hall H panel. - Yes, it was. - So, I'll tell you guys something right now. - I spoke to Joe about this, my sister, Joe. - What happened? I'm making a pledge right now. What happened at Hall H this year? I will never do it again. - Okay. - I'm never doing it again. If moving forward, if one person gets in Hall H, that's good enough for me, all right? I'm not doing it for us to get in to Hall H, for Comic Con this year. We didn't have passes, and it's not, nobody to blame, like the nigga from Happy Sad Confused had to be accommodated, and he, they used him as well. - Wow. - It was a. Okay. - What? He was a part of the show, guys. - Yeah, he was. - He was a part of the show. - No, when they did, with Ryan Gosling, and then was doing that, I was like, all right. - So, because of the whole thing that Marvel does at Hall H, and I'm definitely not increasing our chances now, that means that they don't have as many press credentials that they give out for the Marvel panel at Hall H. So, what we have to do is we have to get passes to something that comes before them, right? And then before they kick the press people out, we have to go find general omission seats. It's almost 7,000 people in there. The seats are not together. People are sleeping in there. I've talked about this a little bit. - Oh, fuck. It's been way for 30 hours, 48 hours. - 30 hours. - It did smell crazy. - There's a piss and shit line where they yelling at you. One or two. I'm like, is this prison? - I'm gonna use the bathroom. And they say, number one or number two, there's a line for number two, there's a line for number one. Like, there's a humanity that exists inside of Hall H. It's called humanity hall to me. The humanity that exists, that I'm not sure the next year, when I be 47 years old, that I'm going to want to wait all day, walk around trying to find a goddamn seat and then sit for four hours to wait for the Marvel panel. - And I will say this will increase our chances. I do feel like the people who get press credentials, they sign the deal with the devil, they're like, "Hey, you ride it with Marvel." If we see you say any shit against Marvel, we come into your house and we kill your family. - Right. So, what we're gonna work on is having a better relationship so we can get a better panel situation. - Right. - Maybe. - Right. - Which else is in here. Two boots on the ground, that's all you young man's game, but we did it though. We did it as a family, and it felt so good when we did it. And it was phenomenal. Shout out to Jess. - Yeah. - Jess was holding it down. If you were looking for somebody to ride through Hall H with you, Jess is the one. - Jess really is. - Outside, inside, shout out to Jess. But we bond it, man. We bond it. We went to the Blurden Boogie Party. - Yes. - Shout out to the Blurden Boogie Party. - Fantastic time. - Jamie was in there, Charles was in there, we were all in there together. The Blurden Boogie, dancing with the rest of the Blurts. A nigga that's the Black Power Ranger was going crazy nuts. - What a time. - This brother is Ageless. He the man. He the man. - Walter Jones. - Yeah. Walter Emmanuel Jones. Walter Emmanuel Jones is Ageless. Walter Emmanuel Jones was in there. Like he could basically still do the karate to the body roll is that the thing. - He was going crazy. - He was dancing with different beautiful women doing different dance moves. He was spright. It actually gave me hope, man. If you see Walter Emmanuel Jones, aka the Black Power Ranger anywhere, put some music on and get this set off. That man was the life of the party. - Well, I can't be if there's anywhere where I feel like the Black Power Ranger can get his shit off. It is a party called Blurden Boogie. He like this, he's got home. - Yeah. - He's on a game. Like a ball, bro. - The vibes were high in the party. It was like our little piece of comic con. It was a real cool event to be at shout out to the Blurden Boogie party. I was looking around and I'm like, hmm, I see certain colors. - That was a whole table. - Yeah. - Why people sticking together at Blurden Boogie? I mean, it's gonna happen. - It wasn't me. It's a, it's a, it's a black party. Soups was there. - Yes, it is. - Soups was at the Blurden Boogie party. And then after everybody hit the town. - Oh yeah. - Turn it up. - The midnight boys took over. What was that spot? - I have a great bar. - I couldn't tell you the name. - It was not a great bar. That was fucking hell on earth. - Are you like it? - No. - If I had a great time, it was a great-- - The bar that we went to. - That's like a bar I would go to and like, like, ice cool college. - Charles, come on. - It was very difficult to tell, bro. - Come on, man. - Charles went out to the dance floor. When Charles, when Charles sees a lady that he likes on the dance floor. - This is so great. - He's slightly so great. - Back, I don't know why, because Charles is like up. He's really, he's dancing and then he sees the lady that he likes and he goes. - But you're under selling it though. - We got it on video. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - We walking in, not even, we're at the bar. We trying to get everybody drinks. - We've been inside for like five minutes. - We couldn't have been inside for over the five minutes. Turn around. - Where's the trail? Where's Charles? You on the dance floor dance. - All of this with some pretty lady. A.D. Take a second. - Not dancing with her. - Charles scooped that, and let me tell you something. I'll respect it, because he went on there. He knew it was actually like watching some National Geographic. - Yeah, yeah. - Because this is like a Richard Attenborough. I could like narrate it. Charles knew who he was on the dance floor to dance with. He wasn't over eager in any way, shape or form. He danced by himself for a second. He let his aura come for the dance floor until she turned around. He let her make the decision. She turned around. All of a sudden you look, she looks back and he goes, "Gotta." (laughing) She turned around, and then this is the best part. So that dancing in the middle of the thing, this is a beautiful girl. - Yes. - Very pretty. - So like they're dancing in the middle of the thing together, and then all of the sudden, I look, I turn back and I look, then not on the dance floor anymore. They are on the dance floor. They've moved to the side of the dance floor, so they can have their own party. That's how you know you in the building. - Yeah, locked in. - All right. - And then how did that end? - Locked in. - Locked in. - Yeah, that's what you gonna do is do your thing, that's what you gonna do. Steve, click "Love's Drunk Steve." - Drunk Steve is amazing. - Drunk Steve's different. - Steve knew all of the words to every song. - All the ones I could say. - Niggas was flying, you said it. - No, I wasn't. - No, no, no, I'll be honest. - He didn't say it. - Why G came on and Steve was, God's like, I'm like, how do you know this record? (laughing) Steve, how do you know this record, bro? - It's like, I'm like the Mancherian candidate, I'm just activated. - Yeah, it comes on. - Like, and so, and then, Jomi the Drew buyer came out as well. - Yeah. - Jomi was going from place to place around the bar, talking to different, full groups of women. - Oh, I know. - Like, yeah. - No, Jomi, what's she got there? And I'm like, Jomi's like, hey, hey, stay bachelor. - Jomi's what you call a volume shoot. - I'm like, Jomi, I'm slow down. He's like, no, it's a bachelor party, I'm by a drink bar. (laughing) - He leaves the bachelor party, he's at the bar to get the drinks for the bachelor party. He meets another group of girls. - Yeah. - And then all of a sudden, I'll look over, and all of a sudden, I see Jomi go. - Yeah. (laughing) - Some of the jams. - I was being dicey, she's over there, you see the lady she got the veil on, and you're like, oh, you celebrate bachelor party. - Showing you sick man dogs. - I'm just like, what else am I supposed to do? - You know what I'm saying? - Treat them to a nice style out. - I just have to say, dogs. - Jomi is the funniest person to go out with. - Oh, she hates more than Charles ever could. - Oh, she'd be looking at some of the women like. She's a mama, she's a mama in when it comes to you guys. She's a mama in when it comes to you guys. She's like, look, stay away from the dangerous side. (laughing) Then as we stayed in there longer, it started to change a little bit. Number one, Uncle Van's feet started to hurt. It was time to go. We never got a chance to get dinner that night though. We never got a chance to do it. - Did we not? - We didn't have time. We came straight from Hollywood. - We went to anime, which was this restaurant that Alayah suggested, which was absolutely delicious. - Delicious. - Did you change your mind on Asian food? - You know, maybe, but it really didn't feel Asian. I'm gonna be honest with you. There's a lot of staple foods. Like, let's fucking steak and guy in them. - You like the pork though, right? - It was okay. - The pork was good. - It was okay. It was like, there was a lot of, it was Asian food, no doubt about it. But it didn't feel like, it felt like very American-ized Asian food. - You like the pig ear. - Pig ear was good. - I think I'm from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Like fucking pig feet, pig ears, all of that. I haven't eaten those parts of the hog in a long time. I used to eat the whole fucking hog chitlins. You know what I mean? You ever had a hog's head cheese? - A hog's head cheese, man, I have to see how you drag it. - Y'all right, Y'all right. Y'all think it's never ate no hog's head cheese? - No. - No. - Anybody in the back, have y'all ever had a hog's head cheese before? - No. - No. - My dad used to take some crackers. The hog's head cheese comes in like a block. Oh my God. My dad used to take a block of hog's head cheese, take some crackers and just put the hog's head cheese on the cracker and just like eat the fucking shit. - What is it made of? - Dog, actually, let's look it up. Hog's head cheese. Hog's head. - This is the shit they was talking about. Texas J. Masker. - Cheese. - Texas J. Masker. Let's look it up right now. Hog's head cheese, we'll get the house of the dragon. We'll start it. We're right now. Jum, you look at, what is it made out of? - Hog's head cheese. - It's made out of, I used to think it was made out of the head of the hog. - Imagine it's a jellied loaf made of the meat skin and other parts of the pig's head that are boiled until tender chopped seasoned and then set in their own gelatinous broth. That sounds delicious. It doesn't look, I mean, is this what it looks like? - It looks like, it's hog's head cheese, bro. - Ew. - This is what it looks like, man. - Ew, bro. - Ew. - Is it this? - Oh god, damn it, bro. It's hog's head cheese, man. It's fucking dog. - This looks vile. - My dad used to, my dad used to take some crackers and he would like eat it on a dare almost to you. God rest my father's soul. Oh, they got hog's head cheese in heaven. He used to take the crackers and he would just peel off the part. He'd smell like fresh, it looked terrible and then it would be the hog's head cheese would jump to other food that would be in a refrigerator. It would affect other food. Or I hate that, like you can smell it. - It would be like, now you got hog's head orange juice. - Oh. - I know, I know. - If you got some apples or shit and you got hog's head apples, I'd be like, but it would be in there and my mom would just be like, Terry, would you please put the hog's head cheese in a Ziploc bag or something? And he would just laugh. He would just be open. - Nah, man, it's a seasoned up to refrigerate it a little bit. Season up to freeze. - Oh, no. - No. - Discussed it anyway. But can we please get the house to the dragon? - I apologize, I'm sorry. - I'm sorry, she's sorry. - Great time to go. - Like, comment, subscribe, share. You can watch every midnight, boys, and house of our episode on youtube.com, backslash@ringerversion also on Spotify, program reminders on Sunday stay locked and to talk to thrones. On Thursday, the house of our is doing an Odyssey mailback. Odyssey mailback, Odysseus. Yeah, the long, long journey home. On Friday, button mask reacts to the new fighting game, Marvel Tokon, Steve? - Yes, Marvel Tokon. It's a-- - Was that how you say it? - Oh, you hit that shit. - Tokon. - Tokon. - Tokon. - Yeah, it's basically like the new Marvel versus Capcom, but it's all Marvel. - It's all Marvel. - Yeah. - Okay, well, I mean, that makes a lot sense because in Marvel versus Capcom, too, all the greatest characters were Marvel. - Oh, yeah, Ross was good, too. - There was no good Capcom characters that you could really use at a high level. - Really? - All the top tier characters in the game. Maybe if you did like the Strider Doom trap, but you still need to do them to do that. All the top tier characters in the game was cable, storm, sentinel, magneto, silock. All of those characters were Marvel characters. Capcom characters didn't bring very much to the table. You can maybe use Strider if you do a Strider Doom trap like I said, but most of the time, it's gonna be a Marvel characters that are good. So maybe you don't need the Capcom characters, it's fucking using a cool one. - No, you'll like it, it's good. - Program reminders is over. Today on The Midnight Boys, we're giving you our instant reactions to the latest episode of another classic part of the House of the Dragon takeover. I'm so into this show, I can't fucking believe how into this show. I am, I love this fucking show. This is the show. This is one of the shows. This is definitely one of the shows. - One of the shows on Waltime. - Yeah, this is the show. - All right, then. - It's one of the shows. - We're gonna, we're going to spoil a lot of parts of this, maybe even some stuff from the books. We're not gonna spoil any of these game, it moves ahead in the books, but if you haven't read anything, we're gonna spoil it Steve, spoil the warning. (upbeat music) - We're getting ready to talk about - House of the Dragon. - You're listening to a reaction podcast. (upbeat music) The spoilers are coming. - Okay, we're getting our reactions. We got to bring you The Midnight Manifest, which puts you in the know. Check, take it away. - All right, these are Midnight Manifest for episode seven of House of the Dragon, season three directed by Nina Lopez, Karado written by Felipa Ghazale and Zanzelle Price. Renera goes ape shit on Haleena trying to get her sister to work over some details about the future using her dreamer powers. Eventually, the Queen finds out Damien didn't kill Sheep Stealers' writer and instead was lying to protect Reyna. Syrax, Craxes and Seasmoke jumps Sheep Stealer and take Reyna back to King's Landing. These events drive a wedge through Damien and Renera's relationship with the Queen, seeking political and amorous counsel from Masaria. Meanwhile, Amon is in Haleena Hall Hell as both Alice and the newly arrived Alicent uses edipist complex to try and sway the prince to their side. Amon kills the assassin that Renera sent to kill him, lightly imprisons his mother and emits to Alicent that he tried to kill his brother on purpose. This ends in Alicent trying to poison her own son's spiced wine. Fortunately, Aegon gets a small win when Zombie Sunfire returns to him and burns the forces that are trying to take him back to King's Landing. And Orman solidifies his side of the impending battle by sending Carlos his finger back to the blacks while flipping off to his side. That has been your midnight manifest for House the Dragon, throwing it back to you, Van. What do you think of this episode? - Fantastic, a lot of things key. - I loved it. I liked it. Love that man, I'm all the way in. I think a lot of things in Seasmoke came to a hit. Obviously you had the Damien situation, Sheep Stealer Dragon battle. You had Alicent in Haleena Hall, a lot of that stuff disgusting. Look at it to it. And then you just had like a lot of things with Ranera, just being made truthful. Like the actual world status of her rule is becoming evident to her. And that is interesting. When you start to look at the way this season was set up, it was kind of a season where everyone had these thoughts and these thoughts weren't real or accurate. They were living in a fantasy world. They didn't know all of the information. I think this episode, an episode that gets you to characters actually understanding what the reality of their situation is. And you can see the narrative pay off and how much you're invested into each character kind of facing their truth. What about you? - I like these characters. And I like the situations they're in. This to me as the season has gone on has felt like just a lot of shit is happening in terms of, for example, we were kind of making the joke. All right, you have this bargaining chip with Allyson, Ranera does. You send her off with this assassination plot. And throughout the episode, Ranera is like, what's happening with her? No, what's happening with Allyson? And Amy just goes, pop, all right, you're my prisoner now. And it just happened so fast. And matter of fact, you're like, I do get the point of this show is that like, no one is really fit to rule. And you're kind of dealing with idiots. But there are a lot of moments in this episode where I was like, this is really how it's gonna happen. Even like, Amy makes a joke at one point. And you're like, yeah, my mom makes a lot of fucking plans. That shit don't be working out. And I'm like, hey, at least you're saying it. So I just, it's not that this episode was bad. I've just, you can see a lot of the stitching. You can see a lot of them just trying to get shit to happen so we can get even like the old thing. We had known that Ulf was gonna flip sides. But what, Ulf doesn't show up until like the end of the episode and it's kind of like, oh, here's the big reveal. He's finally flip sides to Orman. And I was like, I wanted a couple more scenes of just like, all right, how did he meet Orman? Like, how long have they been working together? That I was, some of it felt a little rushed. What about you guys? - I mean, I like the episode. I think there, I do have a question about the Orman thing in terms of he has been very, like we, one of the first things we learn about him, like is that he hates the dragons. - Yeah. - The dragon's a gravestrag and smelly. We don't need dragons to rule. And yet he's like, I got a chip and we think the chip is Coralus. But no, the chip is actually Ulf. And he's meeting up with him. I guess every couple of nights and they're drinking beers and he's like, hey, man. You know, you wanna, whatever that castles, that's a, that's a future castles. You don't want that one. - Honeyhole. - Honey, honeyhole. - You want a honeyhole, don't you honeyhole? - Get your drift mark. It's like, oh, that could be something. I'm like, he seems like a character orman. Seems like a character of principle and purpose. Somebody's always gonna stand by his beliefs and be like, no, I'm not gonna do it this way. We gotta do it all the way, because the high-tower way is the best way. It's the only way. He's also like, no dragons. Hey, man, we gotta, I gotta get it. - Wait, do we gotta get it? I gotta get it. - I gotta get some dragons. - So it's a little weird. I don't, I didn't hate the episode. - Oh, I didn't hate the episode. - I was like, oh, we are, we have one episode left, and sometimes I'm like the best, the best penultimate episodes to me are what the entire season has been leading towards. They're usually the big episodes. They have some so much dramatic weight. And it seemed like this penultimate episode didn't, it was almost like setting up the chess pieces for everything to blow up. I think there were a couple of, not resolutions, but I think a good like mini character arcs that were like realized or at least some very good moments. I think Agon's final stand was very interesting for him because everything that was like downtrodden and him borderline accepting his fate to be basically snuffed out and then proving himself to be worthy of like at least his own pride to like stand up against all of those things that he was worthy against. And then dismissing Larus only to have his dragon fully alive and then killing everyone to kind of recede back into his old self. I thought that was a very interesting and tragic way to end his story for this episode. - I'm gonna come back to Orman real quick 'cause the interesting what you said about Orman, you said he seems to be a character of belief and principles. That's interesting 'cause he's actually, in my opinion, only a character of one of those things. He's a character of belief but of no principle. And so like sometimes people think that belief is a principle but what normally separates people is not belief but principle. So if you take Professor X and Magneto, their beliefs are not that much different in terms of they believe in the safety of Mutant Kind. The principle is pretty different. One believes in the safety of Mutant Kind and Mutant Supremacy. The other one begins in the safety of Mutant Kind coexisting with like the same people. That's not exactly like what I'm trying to say but like a lot of people have the same beliefs. Their principles are what separate their tactics and getting to those beliefs. So Orman's belief to me is that you don't need dragons. You dragon shouldn't, not that you don't need dragons but that dragons don't qualify you to rule. That what qualifies you to rule is the lineage of men and your bloodline of being a high tower and the fact that you are a man, he believes that men are greater than dragons and that dragons are almost cheating. But there's nothing that would stop him from using them to like undergird everything that he wants to do. He doesn't have any principles so he will do anything. His belief is so strong in everything that he's saying that is genuine, also his religious belief too. Like that is genuine but he has no principle. So that is kind of the reason why he kind of is underhanded and double dealing and he doesn't stand for anything but he has a deep, deep belief that his family and his line is better than everyone else and that they are fit to rule. Orman kind of reminds he has like that Odysseus quality where he is like a modern man stuck in ancient times where the Targaryens part of their rule isn't just that they have dragons. It is Damon's belief that these dragons make us gods. These dragons make us better than everyone else. This power, we were all of these, and even Ranera buys into it. All of these prophecies, when she's talking to Helena, she's just like, no, the gods want this. Of course they want this and I think Orman is a character and this is why I love him so much where it's like no. These are just, these are crazy people with magical creatures. They are not better than us. But the thing that blinds him is he thinks that the high towers, his belief in the high towers is his supremacy. That's like, no, our family should rule, right? Because we're the high towers, fuck them. And I was just like, that to me is what makes him interesting. It's not that he's above using dragons. It's like, hey, yo, the warfare says we need dragons. I'll use dragons, but like I'm looking at them as beasts and weapons. That's all they all. - Right, 'cause all the principal is really a boundary, right? And he hasn't shown that he has any of those. He'll do whatever he has to do. But he is, but what I do believe about the character is that his belief in his family and where his family should be and all of that stuff, that is sincere. And I think that's also something else that's happening like in the show overall, is a lot of people thinking a lot of things that aren't true. And I like that is really the crux of this entire Civil War is no one having a handle on the actual truth, which is a difference between like everybody else in the original Game of Thrones had claims that they knew were flimsy. And it was about might. Now everyone thinks that what they're saying and doing is real. Everyone actually thinks they have an actual claim to it. - And that's dangerous. - And that's dangerous because no one is actual, actually, you know, operating in anything that's real. And then it comes back to, is any of this really real? It's all bullshit anyway, right? The people don't get to say they're suffering for all of this stuff. So lines and blood and all of these shit is kind of all made up. So it's a struggle for who's going to make up the next portion of it. - I mean, it's the thing that I fight for today 'cause it's like, this is what happens in Civil War. Where it's like the thing that you are fighting for during the war, once you get installed in a leadership position like Reneira, the small folk, the common folk don't give a fuck about what you were quote unquote fighting for. They are wondering like, okay, we need gold, we need food, we need bread, we need all of these things here. And it's so funny where I'm like, oh, Reneira was a great, I want to say great, but she was better at fighting a Civil War than she's been as a warrior. - Of course, sure, that's easy though. I feel like a lot of stuff that we've been like projecting about Reneira or like, I'm at like thinking like, where is she going to end up near the end of the season? We see in this episode, right? One of the first scenes with Elena. She's like, the gods want me to rule, right? Like, that's our sister, you know, she's been kind, she's been kinder to her than pretty much like everybody else in that high tower Targaryen family. And in that moment, she kind of loses it. Not even a little bit of a lot. She's grabbing her, she's like, yo, what did they tell about me? Tumble tin, Damien. Where is her, like, she kind of loses it for a second, but the person she's been the kindest to in like as her sister. And then later in the meeting with the council meeting when Tormann and he's like, hey, man, kind of feel like you set me up. She's like, exactly. What next? And you're just like, yo, Rainier, man, what happened to like, even if her words were just like, you know, bombs to keep people alleviated. So like nobody would be upset. This point, that, that Rainier is gone now. That part of her is out of there. She's at this point, like, yo, man, I just got to get stuff done. I need to be able to rule what's this? And then you have the Rainier or stuff. No, Rainier or sorry, Rainier stuff that happens later. And she's just kind of like, it's kind of falling apart for her, right? I understand Rainier more than I've understood any monarch, any house lord or lady in a history game of thrones. Because a lot of times when you meet them, or when you have met them, they've been fully formed. Maybe with the, maybe with the, maybe Danny, I understood this much because you were with Danny every single step of the way, right? But even like, when you first meet Danny, she has all of these ideas of what it is to be a Targaryen that we're really putting her head by her brother and other people. To where she still learns kind of on the fly about even what she means in this world. It's all like Lord. Rainier, you get to see how the kingdom actually works through her inability to rise to the occasion of being a monarch. She's, she can't be good enough. She can't be bad enough. She can't be powerful enough. She can't be weak enough. She can't be anything enough to be this. It's driving her crazy. And like so by the time you get to the end of this, she's talking about all the things she's trying to do without doing anything. And you think about other kings, not just in this, or like a king really only needs to do like one thing. Well, some kings are good at warfare, some kings are beloved, some kings, but very few monarchs period are good at all of the things. And she's trying to be all of that and she's not succeeded in anything. I mean, even the scene at the end, where her and Miss Aria sleep together, it's this scene where, and it's been happening with Rainier throughout the season, where she wants someone to tell her that not only was this worth it, but like, this is my birthright. You're doing a good job. This was meant for you. She walks the thing that I'm like, you're never gonna get. That is a very, like, we still deal with it with celebrities. That's, there's that video going around of like Elon Musk with the reporter. And she's like, they like you. As you can see, it is. face it is a very celebrity thing was like, oh, you can't buy the one thing that you want, which is people's love and respect and adoration. That's something you have to earn. Like good leaders in this world, we judge you by how well you're leading, not it was your destiny or it was the prophecy that you should be here. Who gives a talk about that? And the process doesn't matter. Yeah, right. Like it really doesn't matter what you have to sacrifice or what you have to change. Like that just doesn't put stakes in the fridge in the refrigerator. So like for her, she wants to do things, but she also wants to be seen as a good person. Yep. Um, and that's, that's just during a war during a civil war where she used cert, but also there's still an intense privilege there. Yeah. Like an intense privilege to where she believes that she is anointed and placed and that light has shown upon her. And it's with every single scene in the show, she moves further, further away from this to the end of it. She just wants something to make her feel good. Like how he bury monstrous ball. Remember that I'll never forget it. Um, but, but yeah. So I think that I think seeing Coralus again, my man lost his finger tough, not, but I was, I respect Coralus. He was sitting here like a yo, put me back to my cell. But he was going outside. I'm not drinking. I'm not drinking a while. That was so funny. He's like, now I'm going to bed. And then, you know, it's just everybody. This was kind of the episode of rude awakening, Steve. Do you think that that's, that that reflection of the affirmation that Ranera is looking for is also kind of like a reverse image of Amon at Harren Hall with his edipus complex and with, uh, with the witch that's occupying it. Because I know that like a bit of the kryptonite of the show has been the slowness of the things that happen at Harren Hall. But as a mirror to what Ranera is looking for with the affirmations that he's like good or like needs to lay in weight or has a plan that is scheming. I think that that's an interesting part of it. But I still think that that's a bit more of a, like the weaker part of this episode in the show. Yeah. Yeah. I think the Harren Hall stuff. Harren Hall is just like a, not an awesome place to be. Everybody goes crazy. Like weird random violence happens. It doesn't really seem to ever have like a clear, like what is like Harren Hall other than this kind of vortex that exists there, where why would you want it? Why would you want it? So it's so cursed. But it was interesting to me that he even more than Damon feels like he's surrendered to Harren Hall. Yeah. Like that Harren Hall is an entity to where at one point he's talking, he's like, you know, we'll start our own thing like right here. Like everything else that was happening before. Maybe that's not even for me. Like we'll start our own thing right here. And we will grow it to be something bigger and different than everything that they're fighting over up there. Which tells me that like he has given in to the dankness, the hopelessness, the weird like mysticism of it. He's almost surrendered to it. Perhaps one of the, one of the worst, I almost turned my TV off when Allison came in the first time. And you thought I was going to make it. No, no, no. I knew that was Allison. Right. Because Allison do not like that man like that. She do not like her son for real. Right. I mean, she tried to kill him at the end, right. But the scene where they're making like, and then he's grossed out by the fact that it's not his mom. I'm like, all right. That's why I actually fast forwarded through it. I can't do this. You guys, you guys, it's gross. You know, I have, I'll say this. Game of Thrones, my incest journey with you is finished. It's done. It's finished over. So any scenes that involve any type of incest at this point, I don't care if it's your fast forwarding, the incest that we accept, like we accept some incest, right? Because brother, sister, this, this, this, this is the ranking which incest our Game of Thrones. Yeah, it's right. Let's go. Let's go. Because like I said, my worst worst worst. So like the incest between, so Alan and what's your name? And Bella, Bella, Alan and Bella, they're cousins, cousins, but like Uncle need someone to remove something because it's because the, the, are they cousins? Well, her grandfather, her grandfather is sister. Yeah, it's his name. Her grandfather is Alan's dad. Yeah. Okay. So that makes you what? Uncle, right? Is that a grant? That's an uncle. No, because if, if, if Cornless, Alan and Adam, then that's her grandfather. That would be an uncle. Yeah, it's an uncle. So that's an uncle, but it's a great uncle, right? It's a great. I don't think so. Hold on, wait a second. No, it's not a great uncle. If my grandfather, your grandfather, my grandfather, if my grandmother, the son of my grandmother, my grandfather, to be fair, to be fair. It's also Renera's husband. Like that's her uncle too. Yeah. I'm, hey, fuck you guys. They're listening to the judge, you know, and I know the layers back to laughing and stuff like that, I lay in there. Half uncle and niece and cousins. Right. Great. So they're all that. All of that. Okay. So we're right. Uncle and niece and cousins, right? Yeah. So that's too much in the soup. That's a lot in the soup. That's a hog. However, that's a lot in the film. If we're waking in zest, half uncle needs whatever little on the list, on the list. Right. Fucking Damien and Renera, niece, niece, niece, uncle. Yeah. That's actually the same thing. We don't have any trouble understanding that it's basically the same thing is the brother of. Yeah. No, because they're dad's brother, dad's brother, but this is different because it's the grandfathers. Yeah. So it's, I think the two. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. I can't be this stupid. I apologize to the audience. So break it down, break it down. Damien is the uncle. Renera is his niece. Yes. Yes. Yes. Damien, but Damien is her father's brother. Yeah. Uncle straight up uncle. Yeah. Straight up on straight. Straight uncle. Straight uncle. Okay. But you have to think. But Bella is his kid. But grant. Okay. Oh, so Bella, Bella is Damien's child. Right. Bella is Damien's child. Yes. And then but Bella, so Adam and Alan would be the great uncle because they are the sons of the grandfathers. Yes. Right. Okay. Now before we move on because it comes through the mom there. Yeah. Okay. That's it. Yeah. All right. So it's different, but it's the same. Right. Yes. Well, there's a generation removed. There's a generation removed. So he's great uncle. That's what I said before. Yeah. I don't understand any of this stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Right. All right. None of this is good. But that though is different still. I'm trying to give some some. Shoot some. So here's what I'll say. Brother and sister is nasty. Aegon Helena. Nast. Nothing. Okay. So these are the limits of these are the levels of nasty to me. The first level of nasty. I'm sorry. My mother's son. That's right. Father. That's nasty. I'm out. That's the first. That's first degree. Nasty. Yes. That's the one. Yes. Second degree. That's siblings. That's second degree, especially. Yeah. It's nasty. No matter what. But if you grew up with these people. I don't like I don't like it. No, I'm with him. Hell of a caveat. Not. You grew up calling the same people. Mom and dad. It's over. I want to see. No. It's a long lost situation. Then it's not as nasty. It happens in the world where people didn't realize. Oh, no, that's your brother. Son's a bitch. Okay. All right. So what's third degree? Third degree would be Alan and and and Yeah. Alan and Bayla. I mean, I would say I would say third degree would be right near and Damon because they been knew they was related. That's third degree. That's third degree. That's third degree because third degree. Alan not even in the family for. He's still a little girl. He's still seeing son. But like yeah, but they didn't grow up together. You know, I'm saying Damon saw super girl. Like he was with that. Yeah. So let me ask you this. Are we then saying that we're giving a pass to Alan and Bayla. This is not for me to get a pass. I don't know. There's nothing to do. We are letting last show where we're like, is this inclusion? We're 2026 brains. Cloud our judge. We too woke. You know where we're Adam Allen and Bayla. I wouldn't do this now. But if I was back then, I'd be like, okay, I can see it. Tough. Hey, hey, hey, hey, if I'm coming from the mud, nothing, I see like a cute, a cute young sister got the name King. Like we can inherit like Drift Mark did it. Like, come on, but she's your niece. We didn't grow up today. This this caveat is very concerning. I grow away. This is a concerning. She is your dad. Great niece. Grand. But you have to think about the tears we just listed, right? It's on the bottom. On the on the out on the bottom. It's on the out. It's not. It's still insist. What's on the outskirts? It's the manslaughter of insist. No, right. We're being real though. You got to think about this as well. Like back in this time, they didn't have any like DNA testing. So like, you might be fucking a common folk that might be your cousin. You don't know. That could because a lot of these people have like, like, you know, some Kings had like a hundred bastards. Yeah. Yeah. So so you you never know. However, that's not what we're talking about. That's a nice little They're blameless in that. in that situation, but it is interesting. Okay. - So if you had a fart, like let's say you were back then and you had a fine aunt that you didn't grow up with. - But like, what kind of aunt though, man? So are you talking about a aunt, like your sister's sister? - Like my sister. - Your mom's sister. - Yeah, I'm snack. Come on, man. - But like, she's in another kingdom. She rolls off. - Ah, dog. - She got an auntie on it. - There's no other woman with fatties and westeros. That aren't related to me. She the only woman with the fat, but come on, man. Yes, that's a problem, but that's a lady. That she's a lady, she guy, you know, some riches. - Why are you trying to sell him on this? - I was just saying we laid it. That means why are you saying what you wanna think about it? - Hey, man, I'm gonna be real with you. I don't know what's going on this morning. I don't know if I didn't take the animal pack. (laughing) But I still cannot rat, 'cause my mother's, my grandmother, what else do I do? (laughing) - You're a visual learner. - He's a visual learner. - He's got to see the chart. I'm gonna see the chart. - Why? (laughing) - Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. My grandmother's son would be, rest in peace, my uncle David, my uncle. - We gotta green screen the math. - So my grandmother's son would be my uncle, David and uncle Hal. - Yes, right. - But this is different though, because, oh, I know what's fucking me up. It's not the same family. He has two families. - Yeah, he's got two families. - That's what's fucking me up. - Yeah, right. What's fucking me up is this is the, 'cause the white lady is his wife. - Yes, yes, yes. - Yes, yes. - Yes, so what's fucking me up is the two different, that's what's fucking me up. It's the same thing, but it's a half, like you guys said, okay, so that's what's fucking me up. - That shit happened to work. - Oh yeah? - It happened to decide, nigga, I got half, he's all over the nigga half. What, like, Glenn Davis is like my half cousins. Half cousins. - You know, you were like, the decision was like, you were late to this person. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - So yeah, it's tough, okay, cool. So that's what's fucking me up the half, 'cause I'm trying to think, 'cause that's very, 'cause if not for the half, then that will also be very, very close that we'd be the same thing. - Oh yeah. - Okay. - Okay, so what we giving them a pass? - In the world, real world, no. In the world, the Game of Thrones way way back here. - It's nothing, it's like work. - Yeah, it's like work. - Let's stay on these incest niggas. Now, quick, can we bring this back to the show real, real, real quick? - That's what we're about to talk about. - Adam Allen. - That's what we're doing. - Oh, go, no, go, you got it. - No, I was just like, 'cause it was out, it was Bayla and Allen, right? - Yeah, that can't just be us. - And then she told Adam thinking like, "Hey, yo, you're supposed to talk to him." And he was like, "Oh, boy." - But you gotta remember, I don't know if it was two episodes or one episode ago, where he was like, "Yeah, man, it'd be cool to be out there." - Don't I invent you, you gotta rest, you know what I'm saying? You gotta be out there, and then maybe we can like, you know, hang out some time. I don't know, I'm just saying, and she brushed that off. Then the next episode, she's in there with Allen, you know, they having a good time. She like, "Yo, I'm here, it's been crazy, I'm out as well." - It's a foul call, it's a yellow card. I'm gonna play. - For who? - For Bayla. - Oh, no. - I think she keeping it real. What's that? - Because you know one of the brothers is super awkward. You know what I'm saying? So you know he did not tell his brother. Like, you gotta hit him on the side. He like, you gotta keep, oh, she's saying she gotta keep, she gotta keep it B. - She didn't mean like, "Hey, y'all, tell your brother." - I don't think, I don't know if she, I can't really put that jacket on her. - Yeah, I can. - 'Cause really, the moment that she had a chance to like, talk about it. - She was ready to talk about it. - Her face lit. - Oh, she left. - Oh, so, so he's told you, and I'm like, oh, she said that. - Oh, she said that, if we keep it in the bean. - What? - I don't know if he, but who knows, has anyone professed their love though? Has he gone to his brother and been like, "Yo, like, I love her." It has, Adam has, Alan going to him and been like, "Yo, I love her." - There's no shot out. - There's no way he did that. - We know, come on, bro. - But no, bro, I don't think that that's fair to like, I don't know, it's not all on baila, if I'm being real too, like, Adam, come on. - How does Adam, you be a little bit sick. - Adam doesn't know about his brother. I'm not saying this one. - Yeah, nobody knows about each other. Which is why, when these niggas end up killing each other or something like that, it's gonna be so tragic because this is all happening so organic. And it was tough to look at homies face. For one second, he had it like, "Oh, shit, what the fuck is going on?" And then boom, they get interrupted. - Tough. - You hate to see it, not for our black brothers, man. - Yeah, it happens to all of us. - You ever been with, you ever been trying to get with somebody? And she like, "Yeah, man, you talking is cool." And she like, "Yeah, but you're homie over there though." He like, "I got a worse situation." - Oh, no. - The worse situation is when you in a spot, right? Oh, this happened on a show that I love called Chris Cross. - Okay. - Do you guys do some Google in here? - You guys know the actor, the great Eugene Bird. You know that is? - Eugene Bird. - Look him up. Look up Eugene Bird right now, okay. - Bird, like a bird. - B, Y, R, D. Eugene Bird. - Okay. - Look him up. - You know his face when you see him, okay? - I got no second. - I got no second. - Eugene Bird, Eugene Bird, okay. So Eugene Bird who played, I think he was winking eight mile, right? Winking eight mile. He was on this show, on Showtime. Nobody remembers this show except for me called Chris Cross. And it was about a white boy and a black guy that were in his English boarding school. I bring this, Eugene was at the Blurden Boogie Park. I bring this up to Eugene whenever I see him, he's tired of me bringing it up. But at one part, they were best friends, but then one black girl came to the school. Now Eugene's character never had no black girls around to really mat on. So he felt like that was his. He actually goes up to his homey 'cause they get into it over the girl and he goes, "Yo man, you can't even understand this. We're soulmates. You wouldn't get that." And his white boy who's his homeboy goes, "I never thought I heard you say anything like that." I was like, "Oh, she's going crazy on Chris Cross." So what I'm saying is when you're in the situation, where you in an all white space with your homeboy and one black chick walks in there and she fine, and everybody's like, "I feel at home now." It makes it even worse when you break. But that's also the way you relate it to. Yeah, well, I mean, that is true, but you didn't know before, right? And now it is what it is. Brother and y'all going over the same. 'Cause it's not like these guys are going to be able to move on to like, rener or somebody like that. Like, this is their shit. It will make it even worse to take it out. They were seeing, they were seeing Chase. They was like, pretty boy. He got the fuck out of there. They were like, "Man, Bella was all ready to get rid of." Chase is out of here. Now, guess what? They nights. So they, they, is it a little, if Adam and Alan, I have to say, it is not the greatest. That obviously she feel bad. Like she just lost chase. She lost all this. Rear don't want her no way through. And they doing the thing where it's like, "You gonna cry my shoulder?" Didn't like that. Look, I don't know if she was ever really into that chase shit. And so I think now she was though. She was. No, she was. I mean, she dropped it pretty quickly. Definitely. No, she just wanted me to drop it right away. He was in her to the nose. Of course she was in the chase. She really is feeling Alan for real, though. Yeah. Like she likes it for her face lit up. Now, this is another thing that hasn't happened. And we haven't been through this as the midnight boys 'cause y'all do a good job of compartmentalizing. If this was the real world what I would, if this was me, let's say in this situation, like I'm removed from it. Like I'm on the outside looking at me and see from the outside looking at me and this is deal between y'all. What I would say to y'all is I'd be like, man. One of y'all gotta take the other one, you know? She hung up on the dragon and all of that shit like that scars on the face, but really one of y'all, if we go in out, one of y'all gotta take, one of y'all gotta, if you'd run into two man, right? Run into two man, right? 'Cause she's gotta know what the game is. And by the way, just to let the fellas know, the fellas, when y'all think like that, a lot of times y'all have been that in the two man. A lot of times I've been in the situation be personally where it's me and me and-- You gotta get van. And you got girls like, you know, you gotta take van. So it goes both ways. It goes both ways. Here's the thing, shit, I don't give a fuck. We all out drinking. My man, hey, I don't know if they saw me. I'll take the whole part, and y'all, wait. You gotta, you gotta, you gotta, you gotta get that guy. You gotta set the screen, bro. Yeah, come on, bro. Bro, do your thing. I'm with them for the whole night. I've been in the situation. Yeah, I'll tell you something, bro. These girls end up crying to me. We end up bond and becoming friends. 'Cause my man is out doing this thing. I'll tell you the story, man, real quick. It was me, Kerm, and one of Kerm's friends. Oh, this is, we're out at Zepi-Mon one night. Zepi-Mon, shit. Yeah, yeah, man. Was this the other, okay? Nah, this wasn't that night. It was, this was like a year ago, something like that. And so, Kerm's homie is talking to this girl, and these group of girls, right? Chan him up, like, haha, it's all great. Eventually they leave for a second. He like, yo, who you feeling? He like, the red head. That's the one I'm trying to get with. He was like, bet. Kerm? No, no, no, his friend. Kerm's friend. I'm not going to name Kerm's friend. I don't, I don't know, I'm on my desk. It was not, it was not, it was not, anyway. That's a joke. I love you, Kerm. Anyway, they all got great head of hair. They come back and me and Kerm start saying screens. We talking into the other two girls. Hey, how you up, man? Where y'all from? Oh, that's crazy. And that me too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Slowly, but surely you start like, you know, bumping out, bumping out old girl. Bucks are out. Bucks are out. Bucks are out. So yeah, so just me and Kern, you know, saying screens doing the whole thing eventually, you know, he got the number they have a good night together. Me and Kern, again, no play. We was just not here helping out the homie successful night. Yeah, that's what it means to be boys. - Hey, but it's so funny when you got to want home girl who pissed off, she like, we don't want to talk to you. - Happy day. - They hate, you know what I mean? - I was too hard that night. - They just hate you. - She's got that night. - Always the one who they, I was like, hey, you. - Is that, is happened before, is that before why I've been like, hey guys, like the charm brick, the charm brick, Van Lathen is a charming man, but it's a charm brick. She's not fucking with it. So you're on your own right now. You're gonna have to do some Kobe shit which is score 81 against the whole thing. Like, I'm telling you right now, it's not working. I once had a girl look at me and just go, no. - Damn. And I appreciate it. I appreciate it. Me and her becoming friends. I was like, oh yeah, don't let me stay here. There's been a bunch of time and do one. - Yeah, save me a bunch of time. But in this situation, they gonna have to, somebody is gonna have to go and figure that situation. - Make it happen, make it happen the other way, yeah. - Yeah, make it happen the other way. 'Cause at the end, let's talk about that. So the sheep still thing blows up in a dragon battle. - Nice. - Back to the, loved it. Sheep stiller, flies off wounded, dragon battle, rider. - Wait, why don't they kill sheep stiller? I was like, I don't count them dead, I don't count them dead. - Sheep still was limpin off. - Yeah. - No, no, I was saying why didn't like, crack season everybody be like, we gotta kill sheep stiller. Like, we gotta like. - Oh, why didn't they do? I think they tried, I think sheep stiller just like, got away. - No, I think, I read that as like, hesitance on Damon's part, because he actually felt bad of taking away her dragon from her. - Interesting. - Like Damon's spare sheep stiller. - Yeah. - I don't know. The way I read it was that sheep stiller just was able to kind of like, be wild enough to kind of get away. - Well, 'cause he's knocked off of crack season. And then there's like a little scuffle and then he's like kind of barely watching. But then crack season clearly is like looking after Damon and protecting him. But then he just watches sheep stiller go off. Like, I think if he really cared, he'd have pursued sheep stiller. - I mean, he might have been able to pursue, but I think there was probably like, a lot of other stuff happening right there. But to your point, I mean, maybe. I read it as well. - I mean, but also it was so interesting, I'm like, that battle shows you, 'cause what is the name of a Reneer's dragon? - Syrax. - Syrax. You're like, Syrax was getting fucked. - Yeah. - I was like, oh shit, when these dragons battle, there is a calculation of like, we might have to let sheep stiller like. - Just, I mean, the blue size match first and foremost. Syrax don't, not big enough to hang with the big dogs, like Caraxies, like sheep stiller. Not even a sea smoke, really. So Syrax, hey man, you gotta know your role. This is not the time. This is not the place for you to be acting like this. Almost like, Reneer almost saw some dragon off some nonsense. - Yeah, stop booking up and like, you're not, and like, speaking out the side of your neck and shit like that, play a little dragon's role, nigga. I would say, though, man, like, I thought the fight was excellent. I loved it. Caraxies and sheep still got real beef, man. - Oh, really? - Oh my god. - Caraxies, blue, like before the fight started. - They're all like, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. - I'm like, sit down. - What you trying to do? - Also, why do Damon, this is when I get a little bit like, all right, this is where the show can get dumb. When Damon gets off his dragon and starts walking the sheep stiller, his sheep stiller is about to like burn him to a crisp, I'm like, dog, dog, get the fuck back on the dragon. Why are you like, why is anybody dismounting? They're all trying to like take Rayna back, I was like, you mean, like, they shouldn't have had that meeting in the middle of a field, talking to each other? - Yeah. - What do you do with Rayna? Rayna was given, like, first of all, why hasn't Rayna yet said, or maybe she will say, maybe we haven't gotten here yet? Hey, I didn't kill Jace on purposely. I can't control sheep stiller. It seems as if that-- - Well, she told him that. She was like, he doesn't listen to me. But at that point, I don't think it, again, Rayna-- - She got fucking legitimately. She's got cuts all over her face that demonstrate that her dragon is too wild to be tamed into obey. It seems as if, and this happens in the show sometimes, it seems as if maybe Rayna would not listen to this. - Out of it, she wouldn't. - Maybe she wouldn't. But it seems as if you could say, hey, by the way, there's actually no reason for me to have killed your son on purpose. I was trying to help him the dragon won't listen to me. Maybe she doesn't want to say that because she doesn't want them to kill sheep stiller. Maybe that's a part of it. But it seems like at some point, she would make that case. Maybe she'll make it next time. - Well, she wants to appeal to her good graces by at least, like, avenging some of that and going off and killing-- - Yeah, she's trying. - Yeah, she's trying-- - Either I kill Veigar, and I make up for some of it, or I die, and I make up for all of it. - Yeah. Bad math, but I'm gonna be real. That's a suicide mission. - Obviously. - I'm like, what are you gonna do against Veigar? - Obviously, it's the most obvious thing in the world. Like, again, it's all about knowing your roles. You know, you've known this dragon for what? Like, two weeks as a listen to you once. How about your listen to your dad, who said go off, stay hidden, don't worry about it, and let the big dogs handle business. But now you wanna get involved. Now, not only you lose your dragon, you back at Kingsland, and so far away from your dragon. Now, everybody looking at you crazy. It's obviously deal with some mental health issues. - Yeah. - Yeah. - But, and child, it's Baylor coming to your side. - Get it real, yeah. - Baylor comes to your side. Hey. - You were born. - Baylor says, so it's a, hey, you're good. Everything's cool. By the way, I know a really nice guy. - Hey, I got a two woman. - Hey, I need your help with this one. - You're not as cool. - You said Raina's gonna set the screen for her. Yeah. - Yeah, she's like, he don't look as good as the ball. Let's be honest. - Yeah, like so, I don't want to end down with the ball. - Hey, but your hair, Bustin, A. - It's hair, but like, it's the whole knot. - That's nice, so sick. - So, can we really quick, while we're on this, can we calculate who are the people that Ranera needs to kill in that castle? 'Cause the list is getting very long. - The list is good. - It's Rowena and whether Helena's gonna have a son or not. If she wants to talk this shit, she do got it probably off Raina, we will see. - Yeah. - Like, Allison, she should have killed. - Right. - On the cool, she should kill Damien. Like, I mean, literally, her problem is that like, she's building a list of enemies faster than she's building a list of allies. - Right. - Because things are so complicated and everybody has, no one is like doing anything for her. - Yeah, right. - Because she's a weak monarch and that's what happens in a weak monarch. In a weak monarch, you need people at night and they're interested in the crown, but in their own interests. - Before we get away from the Damien thing quickly, I wanna shout out one quick thing. The show does a great job of characterizing Damien throughout the whole three seasons because the hardest thing that Damien has ever done in the entire show, or how many episodes of shows had, is saying police to the lady at the veil, to save his daughter's life. He cannot physically, he's like, it took him so long, he was like, but that's been the brilliance of this season. - Exactly. - The season has weakened him. At first, he was this resolute head chopping Targaryen badass. The show describes him before we even meet him as the most dangerous man in Westeros. And he maintained that. Like, think about the way the show built him up. He chops the head off, right? Boom, you see that, don't talk shit. One clean cut, you're done. Like, when Amon looks like he's about to book up, all Damien has to do is present himself. And Amon, who is so foolhardy in his own belief, would challenge anyone, except for him, just looks to the side, walks to the side. - The crab feeder stuff. - All of that, like, all of that just as this, and this season has cut him down to nothing. No one will really listen to him about what has to happen. He finally shows some vulnerability with his own seed, his own family. He, all his friends get killed. He can't protect anyone. He can't intimidate anyone. He can't put his thumb on a skill for what he wants to do. - He did, I mean, he was for nearer, by the end of this episode. - Yep. - But how do we feel about Missouri, though? 'Cause I was like, I did feel sorry for her, 'cause her home girl was just like, they're never gonna look at you as anymore. They just like a whore. And then it's almost like Missouri. It's just like, damn, she's right. My claim to power in this situation with Reneira is essentially using almost Reneira's, just deep, deep insecurity about herself. And being like, if I show her a little love, if I give her a little affection, she'll keep me around and she'll listen to me. - Because I think she was trying it the other way, and it was getting to complicate it. She held a couple, she, everybody's giving her a different input on how she should do what she does, right? She just, hey, keep some secrets for yourself. She does that. And then you get to a moment to where that almost blows up in her face. The only thing she sure of is this. I will say to Reneira kind of guy kicked off with her a little bit, you know? It was kind of like, she came on to me, just to let you know. - Wait, way back in the day? - No, I'm talking about when they were in the room. She was the one that was kind of looking at the midsection. Like what's going on? She kind of kicked it off. Well, she walked up and I don't know if you can call it. You guys are talking about presenting. It's so so weird. You guys was relationship with that. Presenting it. He said he said presenting it is crazy. I can tell what kind of negative Steve. Steve just opens the towel. Okay. He's got the trench coat. Steve the presenter almond. Steve just presents it. Okay. What you gonna do? Okay. Not into it. All right. Let's play some video games. Let's play Super Smash Brothers melee. But yeah. So, you know, everybody is kind of falling back into to to to lie. But massage because I do feel. I think massage what you also realize is like, oh, for me to maneuver through King's Landing right now, the reality of the situation is it's not actually getting better. I think she realized with Reneer like, there's a weak monarch like to protect myself. I do have to start being like, can't think of really like the common folk. I can't really try to be making, making King's Landing better. I just kind of have to protect my neck and make sure that like for as long I can ride this out for as long as possible. Because I think she might, I'm sorry, might be seeing like this ain't get better. No, it's not the homie's had her straight. She thought she could. Yeah, you know, I'm living like this man. It's nice in the castle. It's like, you know, like, we're not really messing with Charlotte here, but like this, all this. That's the worst conversation to have with all of you comes up on some bread. Like it's like, look at all this. Look at all my friends. You like tough. No, like, come on, breath. Yeah. Anything we leave out. Oh, you guys, you guys specifically you two and Chris Ryan over on talk thrones, talking about how much you love the greens. And I'm, I'm a green hater, but I thought I finally understood your point into like the drama between them. It's so much more like it's human. We get that in the scene with Alice of Allison and Aimean in the castle with Aimean in the middle that Allison to his right and Alice to his left. And they're having a family argument where he's like, yeah, man, me and my girl, you know, we trying to figure something out. And the mom's like, nah, we not really trying to do that. And then like, it's like a push and pull between the mom and the wife per se. And then the scene, the next scene is how it's been like, yo, man, your mom tripping. Come on. Yeah. Your mom tripping, man. He's surrounded by two milves. He's overloaded. He doesn't know what to do. He tried to reach for both completely lost. And I'm like, oh, now let's see what you guys are saying. The greens have been like, they've not been uninteresting in me, but that was like that's the most human thing I've ever seen. Right. Tripping by using the witchcraft to be in Allison, like, tripping a little bit, but you know, that's what she knows what she has to do. She's a witch, which is no. I mean, she tried it with Damon too. It was just so funny how, how much Aimean look, how overwhelmed he seems by the situation sometimes. Yeah, he's still very adept at killing people. But at the end, just, Alice is so fucking like, it's like, what an idiot literally what he collapses. Don't be idiot like stupid. Also, I would never trust in Westeros just at this time when someone comes in. No drinks. No drinks. No drinks. If I don't port myself, I'm not drinking it. No drinks. You kidding me? No drinks in Westeros. No drinks. You killed her man. Why can't you just not take a drink? No drinks. I'm like, no, I'm not introducing. I don't want to meet no new people. They're going to try to kill me. Like, no, no drinks. No new friends. Just got to make sure you got to make sure I can't. Sorry mom, but he's also funny because he's like, damn, and he's going to have somebody new cups. You're hearing all they try to kill me. I already know what's up. Oh, for real, but not me eating. How would you suspect your mom is trying to kill you, right? To be fair to him. However, this man is so it's not funny, but it is funny because Alice was in there like, yeah, man. I'm a I'm a I'm a I'm a she'll try to get the sword. And then she tried to grab the the call at the dagger. Yeah, she not built for she not built for it. No, she can't do it. She can't do it. She got it. She got to do the sneaky thing. And you said this earlier, you mentioned wait, what's his name? Aiman talked to about his mom to Alice. Mom's got a lot of ideas. None of them work out. Tough. That goes. Hey gone. We haven't talked much about him. We have some about this some fire. Longing the dog on the zombie face. Zombie fire. Like a face. They matched what a fantastic shot to in the episode. Right. He finally announces himself as king. And it felt like he believed it. He was ready to die. Mm-hmm. And ready to go out. He filed his courage. There's certain characters in all of mythology that find their courage like at the end of their life. They they they have like one last stand and then they go out and whatever. It seems like he found that like he's actually getting to know himself through some hardship. He needed some hardship. And then his boy comes back and they twin it. They got the yeah, they got the two face. The two faces fucked up. Dragon and rider all scarred wearing the scars of his foolish life. But right now kind of living in truth. It's so over for Ranera. It's never been more over for cash. It's finished. Some bit them being like, hey man, some a dragon came, blew us down completely. You know, we annihilated our forces. It was some fire. That means a gonze alive, which means everything that you've been saying for the last couple of weeks has been garbage. Yeah, we're not going to staff. So if we talking about like the next episode. So we have the blacks. Ranera on her side right now is down to what four dragons? Are we are we call it off switched off the office with you. So we still count you. We still count baylas. Baylas. We still count atoms. Yeah, we still count correct. She's obviously and we still count Syrax. So that's still five against three or four. I mean, yeah, some fire is still alive. Then it's off with with what's it called? Silver wing. Off with silver wing. Vega are obviously somewhere to Sarion. That's Daron's dragon. And then we have some fire. Agon's dragon dream. We see, we see, we got Helena, Helena Intervision. Yeah, was with dream fire, but she don't like to fly a dream fire anymore. So it's four against five. But the four are their forces are together. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we're we don't know, but it's four dragons. It don't seem like Aiman. Aiman and Agon would have to they'd have to do a lot of hustling to get down the tumble tunnel. I mean, I think we found out that Aiman's pretty nice comfortable where he's at. We don't know about Agon at this way. He might be like, oh snap, what's going on over there, but who knows? Yeah. And there's still so much strife between all of them. They're not in any way together. Orman has sort of taken the lead as the lead green. And he has his own agenda. It's no longer any type of But this is almost worse for a nearer because without a doubt it's worse where it's like, oh, you're fighting a war on so many fronts where it's like even if all of them don't, even if they're opposing side, all the greens are not together. You take three dragons here, a dragon there, a dragon there. At a certain point, Andrew Kingdom is like Orman is like laughing by the end. He's like, dog. King's landing is fucking crumbling around. Yeah, one of the worst outcomes of a war is to create a new enemy. I mean, like what like, you know, you're, you have an enemy in front of you. I mean, it almost always happens, but like you, you, you, uh, you have an enemy in front of you, you vanquished that enemy. A new enemy arises because of something that you did wrong or didn't, or didn't see. Like it's sort of a union, cold war. It's ISIS, whatever you want to say, you, you enter into a war, then something else comes out of that and a lot of times it's resolve is different. It's, it's, it's makeup is different. It's reacting to you at war time. And so there's little room for diplomacy because it's seen the worst version of you. Um, it takes a long time. So in, in, in that situation, Orman is not a new enemy, but he's not a Targaryen. He's not a part of this thing that they started the whole thing over a lot of that stuff. There's a lot of bodies built up. So he's like worse than anything she could have imagined going up against when all of this started. Tough for her. You say you want to talk about Helena? Helena. So we talked about a little about the like the, the her being a dreamer, right? And we see it in this episode. One of the, the, the last things we see from her is she's having a baby. And then she's out with the chicken farm, right? You know, doing her thing, raising chickens about her thing, whatever. And then ice and snow comes down. I, I worry for my girl. I think like we're talking like death flags in the last episode. I think she's cooked because the, the dream of a song and I so fire is like, not, it's not the most secret thing in Westerns, but you got to know somebody to know somebody to really know that, right? And so even with her being pregnant and the, the, the kid may be, maybe, being a boy or whatever, but if she's like, yo, I know about that song. I was a fire joint, you know, you can, like if she tells Rainier that she can't hack it, you can't do it. The song, like the ice still comes. She will still die. You're not the rule. You say you are. That makes every neural off in a way and I can't believe man. I think I think it's toast for our girl fellas tough tough one episode left One episode left one episode left the show is cooking. I'm loving it. I'm loving it back to McDonald's 20 minutes. No, I used to do I had a I used to call it a power meal fireman. It was paramil. The power meal was a number four super sized with type 20-piece big nugget To apple pies power meal to apple pies all for me. Okay. What was the number four back to I was a double quarter pounder meal 20 nuggets you just house them house them. You don't believe me asking anybody. I believe I believe in nuggets This was the power meal a Number four super size a double quarter pounder super size. Yeah, right? Okay, super size size 23 nuggets, huh? What's the drink could be orange could be a coke could be a sprite. Yeah, okay, panel house feeling But 20-piece McNuggets to apple pies sometimes if I wanted to eat a little lighter, I wouldn't eat the two Right, right health nut, but my my life is this is the way the 20-piece McNuggets and the Brock of gobra back in the day. Yeah, man. We they used to go to To to crispy cream and get two dozen my dad would write on one box van My family would share a dozen hmm, and then a dozen of the crispy cranes would be for me I love it. I love it on my dad would write on the box van and he would say son once you've eaten all of these Do not touch the donuts that are for the family, right? That's that that's the way he would do it They everything was to two jugs of orange juice one for the family one for man like everything so what the way it was started is that my mother would take me to McDonald's and Then the 20-piece McNuggets would be for the ride home Cuz I'd be leaving football and leaving bad I'd be hungry. So the 20-piece McNuggets She was like don't eat the burger in the car because you know the ketchup drips or whatever like that The nuggets you could eat in the car, and so then when she started going to McDonald's Even when I wasn't in the car she started getting the 20 nuggets and the meal and I could house it No problem man being younger so weird. I would eat that shit and go right to sleep now if I eat At six I have to go to sleep at nine thirty or ten o'clock, but I can't do it I will not sleep if I eat too close to but I used to just house that shit What's y'all McDonald's ordered? What was yours? I'm pushy. I don't have no fucking. I mean currently don't go to McDonald's. You want to be down as today? What you you still going to be down if somebody orders McDonald's, yeah Oh shit. Okay. I don't want to be down with it only like would only in college be by like I'm fucked up right now There's nothing. I'll just do a quarter pounder. Just like a medium fry. I was fucking with a quarter pound or two Mcdoubles Only it's literally I have not ordered McDonald's in the last like Set six six years if I'm not drunk Come home from a night out, right McDonald's did change though. I will say McDonald's a my the McDonald's on my day was fucking good. It's very good. I was had it like once a year. I have McDonald's I'm like it's not it's a definitely double quarter pounder Ten piece of nugget large fries on the deck. Okay, so y'all was there. Yeah, yeah, it was there the power mill situation That apple pie for you never wake up hungover after you didn't you y'all didn't do the the McBang was that oh in high school Yeah, the McBang when it was actually a dollar and get the crispy chicken and the and the double the double cheese It's been a dollar you pull up the whole dollar menu brother. You eat back at a day in $24 million. Oh, yeah, dollar menu was you can get a large drink for a dollar large fries for like one something the McGang bang You'll be good. You know what crowded out McDonald's to me is The better quality of fast food burger. Yeah Like five guys. I don't know you was rich like that my boy my phone. I haven't eaten a long time When five guys first hit our neighborhood, it was everybody was going crazy Also, you want to know what before they started giving everybody out everybody the sickness dog with Chipotle hit in high school Be real so When I left Louisiana didn't I have Chipotle right so I come out to LA and it's a Chipotle the first Chipotle I've ever eaten that It's a Chipotle that used to be I know if it's still there. It was like at the grove, but like outside of the grove Okay, you drive through the grove, you know that side on the left where they're like the pottery barn and stuff like that and form used to be over there And they used to be a Chipotle over there. I remember my roommate Dan Was like, yeah, shout-out then it was like I'm going to Chipotle And he was like, yeah, he's like, do you want anything? I was like, what is Chipotle? He goes, oh, it's the burrito place I'm like, okay, well give me a burrito. It's like give me burrito for Chipotle He comes home and I eat the Chipotle burrito. I'll go Man, what the fuck is this and he was like, it's good right? I'm like this rice Tastes like a lemonade lemon. Yeah, he was like, yeah, he was like and I started going I'm Chipotle. Yeah, the Chipotle didn't is different than the Chipotle. We got I was like 799 for the burrito All the friends were we was all going to chipotle and they were stingy about the protein like you ask for a second scoop and they give it to you Go there you get the bowl the rice the dough thing the chips and the guac Chipotle was holding a nigger down Now sometimes I just eat it from for the nostalgia, but it's not the same. It got that darn it got because then also then I'll just start to pop it up because I would like go out of the case. I'm like, hey, what's this? Codoba situation. This is not really chipotle. Oh, Codoba was man. We didn't do it. I'll take what cover though covers like all the streets. Yeah, a little kid. I'll tell you something though. You know what's still good It's maintained even though it's gotten popular Chick-fil-A. Oh, Chick-fil-A never lay. Yeah, and then the last one.
