I'm going to go through it really quick and then I'm going to bring Susan in because I want to know more thoughts. Cryptic billboards for Steven Spielberg's new movie appear in Times Square in Los Angeles. This has been the talk of UFO Twitter all week and I am eating it up. It is so fun people theorizing and this is what good marketing does and this is what Steven Spielberg does best and that's to leave us wondering and to to gain momentum and intrigue for this new UFO movie that he has coming out and I'm super excited for it. And this billboard popped up right in Times Square. I know exactly what this is it looks like it's maybe 43rd Street and Broadway or 40 maybe 49th and 7th Ave. I clearly know my time Square. I worked there for 13, 13 freaking years. But yeah, this popped up there. Other ones in L.A. Mysterious billboards have appeared in Times Square and across Los Angeles promoting what is believed to be Steven Spielberg's next film though no official announcement has been made. The Stark Black displays feature an upside down eye above the silhouette of an indistinct bird and the cryptic message all will be disclosed 61226 with no title, no cast and no information the campaign has sparked widespread speculation online the first trailer for this new movie will release in front of the new Avatar movie which premieres on December 19th. Not too long guys December 19th is just around the corner. So we're going to know a little bit about this movie very soon with its first trailer. Again, these cryptic billboards have been everyone's theorizing online about what it can mean and what is the eye mean and what is the bird if you're watching this here on YouTube you're seeing on the left hand side there some sort of bird either a cardinal a blue J I don't know something in that sort of bird family what does it mean what does it all mean there's the eye there's like a circle around the eye in the bird why is the eye upside down there's just so much weird ambiguous stuff going on with this and people have even mentioned in the reflection of the eye there seem to be orbs could they be UFOs could they be there's also another bent like that looks like maybe a ceiling lamp is it an abduction alien abduction of some some kind who knows who knows but these things have got people talking and that's all you could ever ask for for a movie that hasn't even been officially announced yet doesn't have a title and we know nothing about it it's amazing it's amazing so I want to ahead and confess I went in a deep dive around birds and UFOs and I came up empty handed on anything other than an owl so maybe the chat knows something maybe they have thoughts on this particular bird it does look like a cardinal or a j but I think most intriguing the bar in the eye of the iris maybe that's a cigar shaped UFO oh interesting I don't know it's my microphone muffled you're fine you're fine it's not you know you're not your usual fabulous one but you're doing the best okay just wanted to make sure wow I didn't think about that yeah maybe it is a craft yeah I don't know I'm excited though I can't wait for this to come out yeah so I didn't I didn't have time to put the um the full image but in L.A. it's a little different it's a blue eye um so people are like speculating is it the same person is it a different character yeah what is going on there um and I went back and forth it's so funny because what I did is I flipped them both and then I mashed them together and I before I even put it on social media I I think I sent it to one of my buddies and I was like this looks like a pilot like it looks like the the the mask oxygen mask the pilots put away like that and lo and behold Steven Green Street did the same thing we must have been on the same wavelength and he's like yes could it be character of Alex Dietrich from the take tack event so yeah it does look like her well and then you see the cast and you've got um I forget her name Emma Emma Watson uh guys forgive me I don't remember the character the actors in the new movie but one of them is like a really well-known actress is apparently the lead character so that's that could be interesting that could be really interesting and what are you making of the blue eye and the brown eye I don't know that again like is this like hybridization I did I did think that I was like maybe this is a hybrid of some sort people have been like saying it's actually the way it's tilted it's actually an alien eye even though it has an iris and like a people but I don't know Emily Blunt thank you Emily Blunt thank you you see yeah um but some crazy things people are really having fun with it and have fun that's what I want to say there's you know there's there's party poopers out there who are like guys it doesn't mean anything it's a freaking movie we know we're not done I saw you in a little twitter fight on that subject yeah that was me that was me cuz you know what I don't have any cameras out there I sent you a foes aside I'm like it's a Spielberg movie it's an event movie and it could have to do with aliens let's just be exciting like is this are we being fed disclosure by Steven Spielberg I don't know isn't it interesting no and that's how they're interesting yeah it is yeah it is and a lot of people do think that and maybe there is some truth to it I don't know I don't know but there's a lot of things you know advising yeah exactly who knows who knows um yeah that's that was our first story for the day but um this was a really interesting story that came out as well I'm gonna go ahead and read this Suzanne so bear with me as I get through this this was the front page of USA today a lot of people were sharing this story online as well um but I've got some information here about it that I'm gonna read out a group of researchers wants to make the study of UFOs an academic discipline so a growing coalition of scholars is working to bring UFO and UAP research into the academic mainstream arguing that unexplained aerial phenomena deserve the same rigorous study as many other scientific mysteries led by philosopher of science michael siphon and supported by michael silprinstein the society for UAP studies has convened international conferences that unite researchers from physics philosophy law and humanities to build a serious stigma-free framework for investigation their goal is not to claim proof of ET life but to create an open discipline space where anomalous data can be examined objectively fostering a more hopeful and expensive view of humanities place in the universe the movement gained momentum through credible scientific engagement including the work of physicist and former NASA researcher kevin canoe despite the challenges of establishing a new field the society reports growing interest and little resistance reflecting a quiet confidence that by studying UAPs with rigor and neutrality we move closer to responsibly exploring one of humanity's oldest questions whether we are alone or not so yeah pretty cool whoops wrong screen there there we go wow I'm all over the place so what do you think what do you think about this uh we UFOs are back baby yesterday and the serious study finally it's not just going to be the sole foundation and I think we're going to see similar movement from several organizations like this why america does not have the equivalent of a japan or what's the entity in brazil you know government act it's just crazy that we are not giving this the study that other nations are and that we're not coming at it from a scientific perspective except privately this you know but but here we are again we're we're doing another private rollout and I'm grateful for it so I do have a real sense I'd love to know what you think about it Ryan that we've crossed a rubicon of sorts and in a positive way that the basically the cat's out of the bag and they're not going to be able to get that cat back in the bag so I'm hoping all of these pieces of this puzzle come together in a way that continues to take away the stigma around it and to look at the science of it what's happening absolutely you know we have people in the chapter you're like isn't this kind of what arrow was supposed to be doing and in a sense yeah I'm looking at it but I didn't happen did it yeah what what I appreciate about what this society is doing though is they transcend what arrow is doing you know they're getting law involved they're getting philosophy involved arrow doesn't give a flying who's about any of that stuff you know they they're national defense like that is their only goal that is they're not out to prove UFOs or alien nothing like that is this rival nation and is this a threat we need to identify it and figure that out this is completely different and I love the kind of collection of different people that they have involved I mean we've watched a few of their virtual conferences here on the channel and off the channel as well and they do incredible work absolutely incredible work so I think this is awesome and they deserve to be on the front page I have to stress that front page of a national United States newspaper USA today so I would also say this rivals this could rival the New York Times article in some ways not the I think the far reach it will have and but but it's rolling out this idea that like they said in this article that it's no longer there's no resistance exactly exactly it is we've watched it happen in our lifetimes which is not I just wouldn't have predicted that but I think I think you're exactly right on the New York Times article we cannot expect all of these entities to have the same impact as that article because that article was so groundbreaking in terms of taking basically a taboo subject throwing the science at it and the military experts at it and breaking that subject open for the world and so that's gonna always be a tip of a mountain for us I think you know that day and time when that happened and that's not gonna be a replaced until we get to an actual disclosure of non-human intelligence existence right exactly and like you said earlier there something's gonna happen and I know we always say that but I really do feel like we are heading towards like you said a Rubicon and precipice a paradigm shift if you will of something I know there's some things going on again in the sort of bureaucratic government realm this upcoming year I am not at liberty to disclose what that is but there will be a major event in Washington that will be taking place you might be hearing this for the first time guys a major event in Washington DC will be taking place and no it is not a congressional UAP hearing I can tell you that much there might be some one two of those throughout 2026 but I'm talking about an entirely different event that will be taking place in Washington DC and when I first heard about it it really excited me so I am so so excited UFOs are we're going strong yeah 2026 and I fingers crossed it's about time fingers exactly exactly a distinguished scholar of history and religion the um both of them have been uh appointed on the advisory board of the disclosure foundation their addition strengthens the foundation's multidisciplinary leadership at the intersection of national security science and public understanding um put off brings more than five decades of research and experience across government academia and the private sector um he currently serves as president and CEO of earth tech international and director of the institute for advanced studies at Austin um doctor I think it's iron iron air air thank you Susan doctor air is a professor of history and religious studies at Yale University and a national book award winning author a leading scholar of the early modern world comparative religion and the cultural history of belief dr air brings deep expertise on how societies interpret anomalous experiences uh wow interesting the advisory board plays a central role in shaping foundations research priorities legislative engagement whistleblower support framework and public education initiatives initiatives wow um so yeah well what do you think we've also got some quotes from some other members of the disclosure foundation but I'll put those up on the screen but what do you think Susan about these well I'm so excited the whole organization is so excited about this um how put off of course needs no introduction or explanation about why this organization would want him you know decades and decades of work with um big names you know and inside the government on exactly this topic and then a doctor air I love this edition because very much like an anthropologist you're going to watch him bring to the conversation how different parts of humanity react to news like this so I just think it's an incredible edition and it promises great things yeah you know I can almost see these guys budding up against the uap uh study society as it were um in working with them in some senses too but yeah um yeah put up and let's get our brains together but with souls yeah you know uh let's put them all together exactly um I hope that happens now put off is I will admit he's one of the more controversial people this guy's been involved with a lot of different UFO things throughout the years um he's got haters he's got lovers he's got but that sounded wrong I don't know if he has multiple lovers that's not for me to disclose as it were just doing a legal retraction on that stage right I'm gonna get sued yes I yes thank you as my lawyer um she's there and was made clear guys I am not saying that they'll put up as a polygamist while you know we have no problems um I want to send a special shout out before she leaves to strange fractal for the super sticker thank you thank you um that'll be going to help our little animals tonight so thank you thank you thank you so much yeah um we did have some quotes here from other members of the disclosure foundation primarily that of Christopher Mellon who said we're honored to welcome put off an air to our advisory board they're combined scientific and historical perspectives will help guide the foundation's efforts to promote transparency and strengthen public understanding and on the heels of that we have Jordan Flowers the executive director of the foundation and he says the disclosure foundation is committed to cross disciplinary um thought leadership and the addition of put off an air enhances the breadth of expertise supporting our mission so there you go yeah pretty much echoing your words Susan yeah very exciting good stuff good stuff again all of this is coming at you guys in 2026 um okay we're going to move to someone one of your favorite people I feel in the UFO realm and that's uh Tim Galaday oh yeah you did you met him right yeah yeah you did meet him a soul right just very briefly like in the hallway hello hello you know she knows and but yeah did you give him a salute I should have I should have well he's back in the news because um if I'm not mistaken was he featured in the age of disclosure documentary yes he had a voice in age of disclosure okay okay yes um now he has gone on news nation and he is reflecting on them talking about USOs so they're back they're back in the news people are talking about it on the heels of the age of disclosure documentary which highlighted some of the UFOs in our oceans Tim Galaday oceanographer and retired rear admiral in the US Navy went on news nation to discuss this very issue so I have a clip from news nation should we go ahead and give that a watch yeah go ahead all right let me find a here for you guys again a little rusty here so please bear with me here we go Tim Galaday on news nation possible that aliens have been living in our oceans this whole time I never thought it would be possible I'd be reading that line on national television but here I am joining us now is retired US Navy rear admiral Tim Galaday his new book holding fast in the heavy seas is out next spring admiral great to have you on so you say you know the exact ocean canyon we should be searching for underwater UFOs where is it why are you so sure about about it well good to be with you Elizabeth I wouldn't quite say I know exactly where they are what I did is support the Ross Cole Hart episode this weekend where he we went out in an exploration to possibly identify where these are occurring like what we know is that they we've the US Navy has observed these phenomena going in and out of the ocean in Southern California repeated times and so there are areas where that might be possible we went and investigated one such area off Rotando Beach at an undersea canyon but we have no evidence yet but we do know from navy video and and sailor reports to me personally whistleblowers that these these phenomena are being observed coming in and out of the ocean also they're California and other areas of the world's ocean and to be clear they're not just observed going in and out of the water they're observed moving through the water at speeds that are unheard of and impossible according to everything we can do and we know scientifically right well I I wouldn't say there's a uh called mass of data but I've had submarine officers and former acoustic intelligence specialists come to me and described in me instances of objects they've been able to detect on sonar with the nonless behaviors traveling faster than are what what our submarines can do and even our our weapons can do so just torpedoes and and I've also had sailors come to me and and describe to me former sailors part me of the navy that have have seen objects go in and out of the ocean so and by the way others have reported this for example Luella Zondo who's been uh has published a book about this uh called eminent described several instances where overhead video being using national intelligence assets have seen underwater objects moving at high rates of speed uh um below the ocean surface so what what is it about the California coast or the Pacific Ocean near California do you think why are we seeing more incidents there than we are in other places I don't know and that's why we want to research this not called for this to be a national research priority because what what can't explain what they're doing why they're doing it their intent their nature where they occur it's right now I don't know uh and they're in and the government's not releasing what it knows and so that's that's what we we call it for in in the the the folks that ought former national security personnel in this film the age disclosure have all called for you know people might laugh when they hear that aliens or aliens spaceships could be hiding in our oceans but the reality is we don't know a lot about our own oceans we've only explored 27 percent of earth's oceans we know more about the moon and Mars the service of the moon and Mars than we do about our own oceans if someone or something wanted to hide there's no more perfect place but you've done your homework Elizabeth because that's exactly right we've only mapped the seabed of the ocean floor to about 25 percent of its total we've not even explored 10 percent of the ocean volume and yes we know the surface of Mars and and the moon to a better resolution than we do at the ocean floor so if there were any extraterrestrial visitors and that did not want to be seen this is really high now I will not be claiming that that's what these source of these phenomena are because again we don't have evidence yet you know now we have reports of it but like David Grush over example the UAP whistleblower who testified in front of Congress about this but right now I'm not seeing the evidence so that's what we're searching for all right what do you think I love I love that he's saying I don't know we don't know that's why we need to figure it out and I'm gonna talk to you with him he's hedging his bed on whether there's large data on this I think there is large data I think he may have seen it from a classified perspective but and I'd love to know what you think about this you know that documentary that several years old now called a tear in the sky it is specifically focused on this area of California it makes a big triangle between is it Catalina Island I think Ryan yeah a couple of points in that area of California and I would highly recommend our viewers watch it I think it's on prime um because not that you're gonna get big answers you're not but just to understand what's going on in that particular area of our ocean and I suspect that's what he's talking about being a male at a naval dive right right well in that tear in a sky documentary I do highly suggest people check it out because some of the evidence they found was stunning like there's something like that um they're still studying that I know independently but uh yeah that area itself is just right with a non-less phenomena so I don't know whatever they're using on those military ships that are out there um isn't that where the Nimitz was when all that went on and yeah so I think I think we can pinpoint that for sure and I know um a group that is kind of coming back into the forefront that is a group called the UAPX and they basically are UAP Expeditionists so uh they have group members former members of the Nimitz involved the back um scientists that work with the UAP Society for UAP studies Kevin Knuth is involved um they have this group and they have been planning for a while now to do these expeditions out to Catalina Island in that area and do further research to see if there's repeatability which is the key to science so um you know I've been in touch with a few of those members I'm hoping to maybe someday document some of it whether that's like an actual documentary or just interviews with these guys but uh I hope they get going in 2026 maybe it'll be their year to really dig deep into the USO thing again we need like the Josh Gates of UFOs where you know they're actually going and and well-funded to do this the science around this mystery and that mystery exactly Josh Gates one of my heroes I love that guy I'm doing a campaign right now guys everyone go to Twitter and tag Josh Gates and get him on somewhere in the skies because I have tried for like seven years ago yeah and I just can't get a hold of the guy I want to see him talk he gave a to one of our yeah that's right Maddie all the dogs are barking now I don't know if he's gonna hear that yeah there must be someone at the door um yeah we've got to get Josh Gates on the show but I love this I love this I love that Tim golly is still advocating you know UFOs are one thing the USOs are something completely different I would add one other thought for our listeners I think it's interesting because when he first appeared on our scene on this topic he was all about the government stepping forward to do this to do that to declassify all of which of course needs to be done but it's clear to me at this point he has shifted focus he has abandoned this you know focus on the government doing what frankly it ought to be doing but will not right now and he has gone a different direction so I say we follow along they all are they're all kind of when that they're abandoning their own trust and hope in their own government which is troubling in some ways but you know this might be the only way we actually get some sort of disclosure and while it may have to do with former military or government individuals it's being done from a civilian standpoint and perspective and let's hope it stays that way my worry is with folks like this or someone like Avi Loeb that he said yeah Galileo project if the US government wants to use that they um they're more than welcome and I'm like dude you were the guy who's saying you would never work with the government on any of this stuff so what in the world that's how you get a black boxed exactly exactly so yeah our shout outs and special thanks to Tim Galaday for fighting the good fight as Richard Dolan would say but let's move to someone else that he mentioned in this interview and that's David Grush is he just got in the news somewhat recently I mean I know I'm a little late to the game on some of this guys again I've been super busy so I apologize but one person that was not featured in the documentary age of disclosure was David Grush but he did an interview with Fox news somewhat uh I think right before it came out or right after um and he had some pretty compelling things to say so why don't we go ahead and watch this video and I really want to get your thoughts on this great sounds great yeah this one was a doozy not gonna lie um and you know say what you will about Fox News I thought it was a pretty good interview and here we go now retired air force major David Grush who has been a whistleblower on the subject of UFOs UAPs and government transparency he's a special advisor now to the house UAP task force thanks for being here but you're having on breath so since then people say where's the evidence what's happening why don't we know more right now almost two years later well certainly the last administration didn't didn't help and my my hearing of course was during the last administration and they were not exactly super transparent on this issue unfortunately but now that the task force has been created I've been able to you know guide the members within the boundaries of what they're actually cleared for when people look at this they look online they say there's a lot out there there's a lot of people talking about encounters there's a lot of people talking about videos and we've seen a lot of that can we just cut it down to you believe that we have encountered alien beings and that they've come to earth and that we know about it as a US government it seems to be a case I don't like to characterize necessarily where they came from they're definitely some kind of non-human sentience but it is true believe it or not we've recovered the vehicles and we actually have physical proof and I was actually partially cleared into some of those activities it was beyond oral testimony provided to me I actually had partial access to the data and actually read the intelligence reports resulting from those programs and with your own eyes yes and so when people say this is kooky this is out there there's nothing to back it up what do you say I'm certainly members of this current administration are very very well aware of this reality certainly that the current president is very knowledgeable on this subject and I trust his leadership on it and I think he's assembled an an 18 cabinet and I really believe I've trump wants to be the greatest president in the most consequential leader likely in world history he certainly has the knowledge the capabilities and understanding of some of these sensitive government transparency issues I have access but and I speak to people about it I've had actually meetings on it people that are very smart and very solid have said they believe there is something out there and you know make sense that there could be I've never been convinced even despite that you know I just for some reason it's not my thing so you think one he knows and two he's open to transparency on UAPs he certainly is very well informed on this issue leave it at that I don't want to get ahead of what the president might want to reveal personally there's been a role to cover this up you're saying through administrations and there have been people who have been threatened and told not to testify I was physically threatened even before I sent in my intelligence community inspector general report under the previous administration I actually had to go and and seek legal protection that way because I was you know literally in fear both professionally and in my personal life and when you mentioned in that testimony of recovering the pilots or remains nonhuman that's something that you saw as far as the intelligence with your eyes yes and it is a very uncomfortable even for me now as as somebody who's seen it experienced it even talking about it because it's so outside normal persons were viewed to understand that there is this biological sentience that have piled these crafts that don't necessarily look a hundred percent like you and I where their pictures where they're there were yes they were when I said from another planet or from outer space you said not we don't know where they're from is it an interdimensional what what are we talking about I've talked a lot of a call gray beards on the program that is a subject of hot debate on origin I've as a guy trained in physics formally as well in my background I leave an open mind on what the origin is certainly there is the extra trestial hypothesis and they could be coming from elsewhere off earth but I don't usually go there because I did not see that data and I'm not conversant in the high confidence theories that the US government had you say we the US government knows but there are many other governments around the world do they know they have their own programs and like I said two and a half years ago we have been in arms race with our peer competitors you know namely Russia and China and they have their own programs in that in this regard and I was actually able to view a body of intelligence that discussed adversarial programs and I'll leave it at that we've recovered things you say yeah bodies and physical remains was there a sense that the motive of whether how they got here what they were doing was it peaceful not peaceful we've seen a mixed bag of activity and motive and intent why they're visiting that's once again that gets into our assessments not necessarily we can't quite understand the intent of some of the sentience and why they're visiting could it because we have interesting genetic material on earth we're a Jurassic Park tourist attraction for them could be a myriad of reasons for the other people who are coming out you say to them what you've obviously faced intimidation you talked about harassment there are reports that others have to I say that there's hope certainly congress values whistleblower information right now and certainly I believe there's an appetite with the administration to do the right thing on this as well and there's some other things that are happening behind the scenes that I'll let the administration discuss when they're ready okay well we appreciate your time and we'll follow every element it's fascinating thanks for having me on wow okay so apparently we have a new term non-human sentient that's interesting that he's now using that before it was none what was it biologic non-intelligence now we have sentience like what is what is what is what the word played these guys do season I don't know he knows so much more than he's saying he knows in my opinion exactly what China's holding he has seen he can't say and I understand what it's said which is so frustrating to me but I also think Ryan the timing of this paint was right on the heels of the age of disclosure and I can't help but thinking we're watching a gentle pressure campaign on the president to take this opportunity to do what he can do whether he will or not no way to know but it's interesting to me the timing of it is so interesting yeah well that actually is going to play dramatically into our next story and now that you say that I think you're right I think these guys are like they're they're seeing that what they set out to do to get some sort of official disclosure through congress through like the proper channels it doesn't seem to be happening the way they at home or maybe the way they expected so they're kind of doing that thing where they go over the heads of their of people and go in straight to the top exactly right I could see this it does seem like Russia's kind of pressuring the president agent disclosure was also sent to the US president um private viewing of it some combination of the politico's had it I would also love to remind our listeners that we know the president trump was read in on this topic during his first administration something has been said in this administration but I can't with the same confidence report that there's been another full read in but I do I can confirm that it happened first time around so this isn't a a surprise subject for the president exactly well talking about that pressure on the president uh that does bleed in right to our next story and I'm going to read a little bit here because talk about pressuring the president how about sending him a four-page memo directly to the United States president Donald Trump Luis Elizondo warns of a big event coming and sends direct memo to the president this is nuts um Elizondo was publicly urged president Donald Trump to appoint a dedicated UAP advisor to coordinate efforts on UAPs in related emerging technologies warning that ignoring the issue could pose serious national security risks in a memo he wrote directly to the president he said the advisor should centralize fragmented reporting and help address the stigma around UAPs which he argues is eroding public trust and noted that several members of congress privately shared their own UAP concerns ecaution that failing to take the phenomenon seriously might leave the U.S. vulnerable to scenarios where rival nations reverse engineer advanced capabilities potentially with consequences as severe as major historical security events comparing it Suzanne to something even so much as 9/11 um which oh man you want to uh proximity yeah the repercussions of failing to handle this could be larger than the impact of 9/11 yeah an interesting way to put that um but you know what it reminds me of Ryan do you remember the first year that I went to Seoul and I came back and reported that commercial pilots were still being asked by the ff f a a and other entities around all that to report their sightings to move on you remember yeah I think all of that is kind of where they're headed like this is just not a workable scenario anymore they're over nuke sites they're in our flight paths they're over our cities and not just in america all over all over europe and australia they're everywhere and we're just gonna report to move on we're not like casting shade at move on absolutely not your responsibility but wait like you should not be having an f18 fighter pilot who came into close contact with the UFO reporting it to some rando in his basement in Idaho you know like that's not how this should be working um you know american airlines no let's get a system before we have a calamity exactly um well elizondo is again sort of stepping out again he was a big part of the age of disclosure he was basically our narrator through the documentary um but he went on news nation as well and spoke to ros coltart so i'm gonna play that clip and it goes a little bit more into the memo that he sent to president donald trump and um if he if elizondo believes trump even read the memo if if trump knows anything about a pending disclosure of some sort there have been murmurs that um trump is going to disclose something uh coming up soon so i don't know i don't know but i don't know your ten galladette at soul said he did not think trump would disclose so we've got two well-respected people on either side of that opinion so who knows who knows who knows who knows that is the question um let's see you gotta also keep in mind the possibility that we're watching a general pressure campaign as we watch this video as well i love that i i'm gonna look at it with new eyes and fresh eyes now i love it let's watch the clip okay that your memo went to senior people in the trump administration we don't know whether donald trump has actually actioned it or done anything with it or even read it but what worries me is the conspicuous lack of action on any of the issues that you raise in that memo i don't see any action on drones and i don't see any action from this administration on uap's are you getting any indications from anyone anyone within the administration to suggest that they are taking the uap issue seriously yes yes i am and the drone issue in fact there's pockets within the fb i a federal bureau investigation and pockets within the director of national intelligence that are taking this topic seriously um i think their approach is is very measured uh they're they're i think they're doing their due diligence they're asking the right questions are going about this the right way now the question is do they have enough people well that i can't tell you i i don't know and i think you know only only time will tell but i i do see that there are pockets of expertise and excellence that is being applied to this topic i think what i think what some people may confuse is the lack of transparency or necessarily discussion openly about what they're doing and so i think that creates some frustration internally with some people but i i am very i'm very confident and very relieved that at least certain individuals whom i know are working on this topic are indeed taking it very seriously uh and and basically pulling the thread to see to see where it leads now at the end of the day time will tell what those results will be but um no i'm i'm i'm very grateful and and and and heartened to see some of the efforts that i see behind behind closed doors i'm i'm not going to say right now who specifically is involved i think we need to give these individuals latitude and an ability to maneuver um it is a tough problem it is a tough product we haven't solved it yet and we're still trying to figure it out and it's not going to be solved overnight i do think one of the ways to help find resolution to this problem sooner rather than later is to establish a primary individual that is responsible for this this is what they get paid to do right so if they drop the ball now it's on their it's on their hands on their shoulders okay so this is where i get concerned because if the president or people senior and is a ministerial we know they've received this memo it they haven't acted on nothing's happened uh the president no president's made no announcement on uap we're we're presuming nothing's been done but again i want to be very careful i i i i i hate to uh i hate to assume certain things you know what you know what assuming does right so i'll use a word presume um just because the administration doesn't say anything doesn't mean that they're not taking it seriously and i know people are very eager to try to try to get to the bottom of what's going on but this is a problem we've been dealing with quite frankly for many many many decades Ross and it's going to take time and we have as a people we have to we have to have a little bit of patience with our government to try to try to figure this way out now the problem here is as you know we can give people time to figure it out but it only takes one nine eleven event right uh to turn the whole world upside down and so time isn't really on our side i i think we have to have some patience and give the administration some time but i don't think we have a whole lot of time i think we really have to do a much better job of trying to figure out what's going on um and it's uh it's a tough it's a tough not to crack it's a tough problem i certainly wouldn't want to be the one in the administration tapped on the shoulders to figure this out i mean this is this requires a pretty big team and you'd have to have help from all other uh 16 members of the intelligence community the defense communities and the civilian communities i mean this is this is a big this is a big this is a big uh this is a big problem can i ask you this do you think the Trump administration Donald Trump is thinking about disclosure? well i hear what you hear and everybody else that he's contemplating it that he's been told about it but i i want to i also want to be realistic here yes there's a tremendous opportunity here for our president to be the first sitting president to say yes this is real and this is a problem but there's also a tremendous amount of risk because if it turns out that there is some sort of foreign adversarial involvement behind this there's some sort of new type of stealth reconnaissance capability let's say that country x developed or something like that um and we go out on a limb and say that these things are all because of this and it turns out they're actually because of that then that's that's a risk as well and that can actually be used to discredit you into into hurt your efforts so so the president all presidents uh have to be and this is why they have so many advisors they have to weigh the pros and cons of what they say publicly now this this particular president i think most people can agree whether you agree with his politics or not uh he is not afraid to say what he what he feels and so from that perspective i i think it's very refreshing i think all presidents should should say how they feel um the question is what does he actually feel about this topic sometimes when he's been asking the past he has said i personally don't believe it i'll think there's much to see there and other times he's turned around and said actually you know what i received some briefings pretty interesting we should take it seriously um but again that's a question you would need to ask to to the president himself i certainly would not want to be in any type of position to to presume what what what what our president Donald Trump knows about this topic okay a lot to break down there um i do agree like whether you politically agree with Donald Trump or not um if there is going to be a disclosure president of any kind it's very possible that he could be the one and we need to feed off of that ego that this narcissist president has you know in so many ways i hate like i don't want to get political here but we have to this is a political one i love hearing his own voice right it's just part of the personality and it'd be a this is the kind of personality who would be likely to actually take a risk like this and do it so i remain hopeful i i don't know that it will actually happen of course but i remain hopeful yeah i i i like this idea of a pressure cooker i think you described it perfectly and it never even dawned on me i'm like a lot of our stories this week have a lot in common age of disclosure comes out it was sent to the president um you got levels on to out here said it in memories to the Trump you've got uh uh who the else did we just talk about dim yellow good word and goaday grush we're all going after the president so i don't know i don't know this is that's why i think we're watching a general pressure campaign which i think is actually brilliant if that's what's happening i think that applying this and giving it audience to friendly ears is a great idea no no i don't see it downside it may not work but i don't see it downside exactly yep what is it Wayne Gretzky says like you only make um the amount of the percentage of goals that you shoot it's right i am butchering that that quote but yeah like take the shot take the shot the worst it's gonna happen exactly um Alan we put this up on the screen earlier it makes a good point if the president did get involved um pardon the whistleblowers for all prosecution like this is a president who is pardoned and a lot of people for things that they have done um could this be the president who partens whistleblowers uh in this topic if he thinks it's going to make him the disclosure president i knew that and then released everybody from these india's turn how put off violence off turn those big key people who cannot speak contractually turn them loose turn them loose i love that donnie falls says is it possible that there's an agreement between nations not to be the first that it must be mutual disclosure oh man good question um i think like was it uh might have been grush who said we are in a race for a technological cold war right now so i don't think it would be a mutual thing i think whoever's first is going to be the nation that um discloses or might be the nation if they if they've controlled the tech if they if they wrap the tech then it's going to be like the atom bomb for us you know back in the day and we ruled the world with it up until now you know exactly it's a big deal it is yep you know um say what you want about weaponized corbella i know people have a lot of thoughts but he's been saying it for years like the first to crack the code on this tech game over game over after all great i would actually agree okay excuse it i want to switch gears we've talked a lot about UFOs um guys we after this story we will be featuring your pets that you sent into us but i want to talk about a story that you have a very profound and personal connection to uh this came to us from christy new in our very good friend colleague past guest on the show past co-host on the show christy new in over at the debrief came out with a wonderful story about um mere death experiences so that's where i want to go next i find this absolutely fascinating let's get elizando and colt are off the screen um we're done with them we're done with you guys for now we're moving to nbes because this is very interesting let me go ahead and read a little bit here the university of virginia researchers identify support gaps for people recovering from near death experiences uh recent research from the university of virginia's division of perceptual studies shows that near death experiences are relatively common and often life changing with about 5% of americans reporting in nde in up to 23% of cardiac arrest survivors describing similar events that is in astounding amount of people if you actually look at the population of america and that percentage um in a survey of 167 experiences most sought support afterward and found it helpful often reporting increased spirituality compassion and curiosity about life after death however many also faced confusion or isolation particularly when they feared disbelief making early reactions of openness and validation crucial to healthy adjustment a little bit more here the study also reveals how long-standing misunderstandings in medicine and mental health have complicated recovery for many nde experiences until the 1990s such experiences were largely absent from official diagnostic frameworks reinforcing fears of being labeled unstable while recognition has improved researcher stress that professional still need to be better educated about near death experiences and their impact um so the woman you're seeing on your screen here that is dr marietta helav bonobba i believe is how you pronounce it and christie interviewed her on her podcast rebelliously curious recently she is a research assistant professor of psychiatry and neuro behavioral sciences at the university of virginia and a leading researcher at the renown division of perceptual studies um so i'm going to go ahead and play a clip to zan about that support that is now being linked to people who have had nde's and what they hope for and why why people who have nde's don't come forward to describe it why some do and how would change it these people it is just like what i do in the ufo field the impact and aftermath of a ufo experience or abduction and it's maybe startling connections to those who have had nde so uh should we watch the clip and then i want to i want to dive into this okay okay cool let's watch this clip from rebelliously curious with christie newton and we'll talk a little bit more on the other side here guys and the concept of near death experiences to be so profound i do think about it i think about reincarnation a lot and i do think about the people that have gone through these types of experiences because i've been through my own meditations at the minro institute that were really profound and i'm living and experiencing them i couldn't imagine going through a traumatic event and then having this on top of it so the research that you're doing now is looking at support systems and what type of support people need for near death experiences can you talk a little bit about that and how people could go about supporting others so when we talk about how to support people after an nde it's important to first talk about why do they need support so a lot of what people may be familiar with in regards to nde may sound very positive right people may experience peace and see this tunnel of light and unconditional love and there's certain ways that people tend to change especially if they have a very profound nde there's research that shows that people in general may become more spiritual a lot more interested in examining that spiritual dimension of life they tend to become convinced that life continues after death that this body is not who they are and they tend to lose their fear of death maybe become more compassionate so a lot of that sounds very positive right maybe things that if if we were able to change this way would help us feel better in the world or live better rather but there's also very important ways that some people may struggle after an nde so even if the experience itself is very positive they'll bring about many challenges and i'll just give you a sense of what that may be so for some people the nde may and the insights that they may get from the nde can just completely contradict whatever views of life and death they have whether it's scientific or religious or just existential views if that experience and what it reveals about the nature of the world contradicts people's prior beliefs that can create a sense of dissonance in people just trying to make sense of this big thing that happened at the same time we're never alone in the universe right we exist in these families communities in relation to other people and relationships are important so all of a sudden your your quote unquote back but you're different your values are different maybe your life priorities are different you're no longer interested in living life the same way because you have a new perspective and so that can introduce a lot of challenge with people around you who maybe don't understand what happened to you experienceers may often also want to talk about the experience and how profound it was or how it changed them when it meant for them and they may find that not everyone is open to learning or really willing to understand and that may be especially prevalent with healthcare professionals sometimes people want to share with their physician or with their nurse but even even it can happen with loved ones as well and overall and people may be concerned that other people and especially but not only professionals will think they're crazy they worried about not being believed and then there may also be other things like a lot of people experience this place that they went to or visited this other realm many of them describe it as home they're real home and so many people may have this intense sort of longing to go back to that place like what okay what am I doing back here my body's broken depending on what led to the NDE so that can lead to depressive symptoms among some people and I'm not saying any of this to make the claim that we should pathologize these experiences just to make the point that even if the experience is very positive people may still struggle and need support to process it just like any other big thing that we deal with or big transition in our lives and maybe even more so so the study basically looked at a large group of people who've had near death experiences and asked them what kind of support have you sought out to process this experience what was helpful to you what was not so helpful what were the barriers to seeking support and we thought of support very broadly we asked if people had seen a mental health professional health professional various spiritual religious professionals like clergy and we also asked if people had sought help from an organization or even sharing online in various Facebook groups message boards so we really thought of a variety of ways that people may seek support and in that paper we wanted to sort of see what are the factors what predicts who will need more support including things that relate to the demographics of the person the quality intensity of the NDE various circumstances around the NDE various factors from the person's prior history because again nobody we don't exist in the vacuum even with this experience we come with our with our prior history and who we are beliefs our experiences all of that and so we look to see which of these factors if any predicts who will need support and we also looked at what predicts who will benefit from support or find the support they receive helpful okay a lot to break down there I I loved this conversation no you and I have talked off air about this topic of near-death experiences because of some of the connections it might have to the UFO topic or you know just anomalous experiences in general but the real reason I wanted to bring up this story now says in is because I asked you off air if you were willing to if you're comfortable to share this with us but you have a very specific connection to this story in a sense would you mind maybe telling us why I will I will I've had my own near-death experience and it happened maybe five years ago six years ago and late one evening I inexplicably went into AFib and I don't have heart issues I don't have never had AFib before and I have not had it since but I went into AFib and my husband was sound asleep is about midnight and I spent about an hour doing everything I could do to try to get it to stop and I finally realized I was going the wrong direction it was getting worse instead of better so I had to wake up my husband and try not to scare him to death but that we needed to get in the car and go to the emergency room and we did and they took me straight back as they will with any heart event and once I was in the room a male nurse got a young male nurse came in and said Suzanne we have got to give you two drugs drug A and drug B drug A does this drug B does something else and I thought about it in a minute and then I said now keep in mind I have no medical background and no experience with this I said drug B I don't I don't want that one I don't want to have that one and he said with gentle pressure Suzanne you need this this but you need these two in tandem and I reluctantly agreed and I would love to tell you that I didn't but I did and yet somehow I knew I should not have that second drug so the nurse left to go do whatever he needed to do to get the drugs and get them started he gets the IV going and he walks back out of the room and I say to my sweet husband Bill if something goes wrong you yanked this IV straight out of my arm and he said okay and about 60 seconds later I popped out of my body and I stood behind myself which was just a wall you know you're in these little bitty rooms and an emergency room I stood behind myself to the right and I was basically looking at a corner thinking and assessing right it says like I could look down I could faintly see the shape of my body and I can remember thinking oh my gosh I'm I think I've died I think what's happening here but I'm but at the same time as scary as that sounds to me it wasn't it was like oh but all of me is still here who I am is standing right here in this corner and then there was this big commotion behind me because I am literally looking at the wall and as I turn to look back over my shoulder at what's going on behind me I see my body and I but I was not upset it was like oh yeah that makes sense now because my consciousness is here and then I can hardly talk about it without tearing up and then I see my sweet husband who is plastered against the wall literally back and head with his hands pressed against the wall down by his thighs terrified and so I paused and I thought he's so upset he's so scared but I'm okay I'm okay but he was not and then I turned around and I was going to go through this wall and I heard all this yelling this yelling and I thought who are they yelling at this hospital they need to be quiet someone's yelling yelling and then I heard my name and I realized in that moment oh they're calling me and of course I'm over here about to go through this wall and so I turned all the way around and boom I was back in my body and awake and they were literally yelling Suzanne come back Suzanne come back come back you know they're yelling over and over louder and louder all of them while they're doing heart compressions and whatnot and that young nurse I could remember the look on his face like sheer tear sheer tear and the relief on Bill's face when I was back was just overwhelming and for me I I didn't quite know what to do with it except that it was all okay it was actually I consider it a positive it's a little bit of my personality though is just like with the UFO stuff or the paranormal stuff I'm pretty open to just taking it in and letting it be and trying to process it later right you know I'll let a bunch of data come in before I make a pronouncement on which you you see me doing behind the scenes as well on the UFO stuff you'll see me process process process and then boom I'll give you what I think but that's my experience and so I I understand that not everyone makes peace as quickly as I did to me it was quite comforting because I knew with literally the sureness of my consciousness that whatever comes next is okay and that we don't just stop in these bodies and these bodies are temporary arrangements but that's my experience so I'm very happy to see this work by Chrissy and by this this psychiatrist because not everyone first of all has a positive experience some of them are quite scary but there is a tremendous connection between the UFO world and the near-death experience world and the poltergeist world and so when the the group has heard me talk throwing something about the near-death that that experiences that are saying things very similar to the UFO people this is why I spent a lot of time reading studying and listening now we know why I first of all thank you thank you so much for sharing that those I I got teared up to you that is thank you that takes a lot to not only go through that but to be able to share that with our audience with the public God bless you and your husband I mean I can't even I can't imagine what that was like as you were talking you know it I reflected a little bit on the passing of my mother yes you spread a couple years ago now at this point I was good yeah I was with her when she died and that was something that I will always be thankful to absolutely with the higher powers whatever it may be that I was able to be there to be with my mother to say goodbye because so many people can ever get that opportunity to have one last goodbye with their loved ones or a friend and I remember you know you remember some of the more clinical bad stuff obviously but the thing that stuck with me the most was holding her hand with her entire family around her singing her favorite songs and watching her take her last breath but seeing a look of pure joy on her face and I could literally see her crossing over whatever that means you look so happy and relieved and it was just it was something I will never ever forget and it just it reminded me a lot of you know that not elation but that that idea that that something's there something is beyond these bodies and beyond that and the fact that you glimpsed that even you know for a brief yeah a bit extremely nice very moment is so powerful to me and how brave you are to accept that and not just like shy away from it but explore it and I think many of these people included in the study and whatnot do not do they just they brush it off and they forget about it others integrate it into their life and like she said the entire framework of your existence must fundamentally change after a near death experience I would imagine in many ways so I guess my question for you if you don't mind me asking a lot of these people did say there was a longing to go back to that place now you had a very unique experience an out of body experience almost as it were um do you ever feel that a longing to go back to this place or or how do you confront that yeah I didn't and let me tell you why I don't think I made it far enough because I did not experience a bright light like others do my loved ones were not there I was I didn't take that next step across a barrier and I think the humans who do take that next step they are the ones who struggle and some struggle mightily like perhaps not even wanting to live any longer because they want to go back because of how magnificent it feels and complete and you will hear them talk about I am home over and over I'm not sure I have ever listened or read a near death experience where the person who has experienced it hasn't used those words so for me it was more of um I guess pay attention this is how quickly this can happen and how I made completely out of the blue completely out of the blue and live life hard run hard play hard be grateful keep rolling and and to lighten it up a little bit I will tell you as soon as I was back and you know it took maybe an hour for me to equal liberal equal get my equilibrium back I guess um I took up the little bill I told you to pull that that thing out of my arm and you didn't do it I still tease him today I do die hold any grudges against I don't think I could pull one out of your back I know he was dealing with a lot too in that movement yeah oh my gosh that's so yeah so so I hope everyone will take away the positives from it there are finances out there I submit those are highly highly connected to human expectations built by that humans religious and societal influences so if you expect a negative you're going to get a negative and at that Ryan I bet I have listened to read to over a thousand of these you know um so I just think be positive live well do your best know it can stop in a moment and know you'll you'll continue on I love that I can't think of a better message from someone who is literally faced the unknown and come out on the other side living life um to the fullest and I appreciate that and I I hold so much like gratitude that you shared that and that you have that positive message to get because you know like this study says it's hard for people to come forward with these experiences but for every person who does come forward maybe we will get a little bit more of a glimpse of what comes next you know and oh I was just going to say I love this idea that you mentioned of uh you know it put you back in the moment of because that's what UFOs do when you have a UFO experience you feel more immediate and more human than you have in probably a long time when we're on our phones and we're at work and we're doing the routine and that will a UFO event happens in your life and you feel scared excited terrified you feel and awe you feel everything human that makes us what we are and it reverberates in that soul or that invisible thing that exists that leaves the body when we eventually pass on and you do have to wonder is there some sort of connection I don't know right well and this you you made a great point and how we were talking about how similar these two topics are and just like in the UFO world you there are books that you should read and there are books you should not read and you have to vet them just like you and I vet every day of our lives on this topic you know I would like to read more I'd love for you to reach out to me um Suzanne landers at me.com and I will connect you with two or three good solid well researched books and I do it that research just like I do this so I like a particular neurosurgeon who had his own near death experience and there's a female surgeon same thing so I have a list of highly credible reasonable bright competent people that you can learn from I love that I will and I should be doing this down to consciousness uh this is why that's why I love that and I love that you've kind of introduced me to this topic because um it's not a topic I ever died into you know I I did have Leslie Canon uh to talk about surviving death her book on reincarnation um that's the next one oh so good so good um guys if you haven't listened to that episode in the archives I spoke to Leslie Cane and uh Michael Anthony was a fellow bartender of mine in New York but he actually is in the Netflix series surviving death because he had an experience with his father that Leslie investigated um so you can go back and listen to that as well but um wow yeah I love that this is a new rabbit hole I can go down um you know I I I am a somewhat spiritual person I think I've shared on the show I am Catholic uh I actually went to mass this morning with my dad which was right which was awesome eight o'clock he got me up ripped me out of bed with a lot of two or not yeah it's like I'm 12 years old again um but I loved it and the the awesome thing was we've had the same priests you know he gave my mom her last rights he spent so many of our our special moments throughout our lives um he's been the priest at my church for gosh almost like 40 years now something crazy like that but I you know um he came down at the end of the procession of mass and he saw me and his eyes just lit up and he immediately waved at me and I'm not saying he came up to me after and he remembered my name to say hello to your sister and I was just like oh my gosh that was so cool so so great and those things matter I think another thing that I think near death experiencers come away with is that they find out that this life review that you hear about is not at all about judgment what it's about is what mattered and what didn't matter and what you learned and sometimes those small things like the priest remembering your name today those things make it to the top of the list buying the coffee for the car in front of you at Starbucks picking up the groceries for the person ahead of you and you know those very small things giving someone a warm smile when you because you don't know what people are dealing with right so these small things that we do from a place of kindness can be life changing and quite quite something they seem so small to us in the day-to-day stuff but they're not yeah you never know how you're going to impact someone's life and I love that I love that James Craig says somewhere in the heavens oh god another one yeah yeah I love it keep it at like James Craig we love everybody and Pat research he took one of the the first sort of forensic and scientific approaches to gathering and cataloging accounts of ghosts and in 1897 he collected them in an amazing volume called the book of dreams and ghosts and in the book of dreams and ghosts slang proposed the unique idea that ghosts may be the effect or the emination caused by a dead person dreaming and in effect projecting into the mind of those living and that's a fascinating concept that when you encounter what seems to be a ghost you may actually be making contact with a dead person dreaming.
