The transcript blends multiple themes: a promotional message for Carvana’s car-selling service, a detailed discussion on Vanta’s role in securing AI products through compliance and trust, and a strong political commentary. It highlights how trust and transparency are essential in both business and governance, citing real-world examples of startups leveraging security to win major deals. Politically, the piece critiques the influence of wealthy donors and the Trump-aligned establishment, alleging political manipulation, suppression of dissent, and institutional corruption within the DOJ and FBI. It references a leaked donor memo targeting key Senate states and emphasizes voter mobilization as a response to gerrymandering and voter suppression. The narrative includes criticism of political figures like J.D. Vance for misrepresenting democratic achievements, while celebrating public service and inclusivity, especially through New York City’s initiatives. The segment concludes with a call to action for citizens to vote, asserting that democratic resilience depends on civic engagement and a cultural shift away from elite privilege. The underlying message is that trust—whether in technology or in democracy—is foundational to progress and accountability.

It's election day.
And the rats are already fleeing the ship.
The New Yorker is reporting that MAGA is preparing for the investigations.
And to that, I say pass the popcorn extra butter injected into my veins.
Here are some quotes from some anonymous Trump officials.
Pop this up.
The MAGA faithful eye the exits with polls suggesting a bleak midterms for the GOP.
Trump world in D.C. is girding itself.
For congressional subpoenas and preparing pardon requests.
We're all going to be indicted.
Anyone who was ever close to this is going to be targeted.
They're going to come after us even if our fingerprints aren't on anything.
A Trump-aligned influencer says,
We took over and we just kind of fucking botched it.
The Democrats didn't create some bullshit.
We had a generational opportunity and we basically squandered it.
Look at the coalition we had in 2024.
These people might not ever vote again in their lives.
An administration official was quoted as saying that.
And so here you have the buyer's remorse of these people that are short-sighted.
And I say, let the investigations begin.
Angie, you know, when I was watching this, I continue to think about all of these people that sat there and watched Trump.
Commit crimes, conspiracy, corruption, fraud.
That happened every day, in my opinion.
And it wasn't at that point they came out as a whistleblower and said, we're in trouble.
They waited until now he is going to get a slap in the ass in the midterms, I hope.
And now they have buyer's remorse.
Well, all the evil shit you did, you knew you were doing the evil shit at the time.
And I'll just say this.
I am so interested.
Not in the.
Fact that they will be indicted.
Of course, they'll be indicted.
They're criminals.
They're all committing crimes.
I am interested.
And what I will be waiting for is how he makes them beg for pardons.
And does he give them pardons?
That's I'm fascinated about that coming up.
Yeah, you know, I think he loves to have a collateral over people.
And so those pardons are something he's really going to hold close to the vest.
And I think he's probably going to be like, you're not getting a pardon.
You have to go take the fall for this.
I think that's more the type of thing he's going to do.
And these people are so insane.
They love being humiliated and love being at service to him that they're still now clinging on for dear life.
Given these anonymous quotes to the New Yorker, Josh, a former FBI agent is now speaking out about the weaponization of the DOJ.
Pop this up.
Might as touched reporting former top FBI official Douglas de Podesta has filed a bombshell lawsuit against cash.
The DOJ and other Trump officials alleging he was forced out after refusing to go along with politically motivated prosecutions of Chicago protesters perceived as Trump's political enemies.
The suit alleges prosecutors were ordered to pursue charges even when they believe probable cause was lacking and that de Podesta was later falsely blamed for a high profile case collapse.
Josh, in my opinion, this is probably going to be the first of many.
I think these will be going on for years and years and years to come.
This is going to have the snowball effect where the first one starts and then you have other people coming out.
And kudos to Mr. Dave Podesta because it takes courage to file a lawsuit against the federal government knowing there's going to be retribution.
I mean, that's what his firing was all about, right?
Was political retribution.
Right.
Was political retribution and him not going along with it.
Other agents that stood up to Donald Trump.
I think that we saw the Minnesota U.S. Attorney's Office at one point had a mass exodus of DOJ attorneys that just walked off and said, we're not doing this anymore.
And that's what it takes, courage like that.
And we talked about that in a previous segment with grand jurors that are standing up.
It takes courage from everyone like this.
And you're right.
I mean, DOJ, the FBI, all of these institutions.
That we used to think of as being respectable have now become criminal conspiracies, basically gangsters, I mean, mobsters.
That's what the FBI is thought of now.
That's what DOJ is thought of when you have Todd Blanche meeting his buddy and Ms. Maxwell.
And it's just a big conspiracy ring.
And I applaud this gentleman and others that come forward in the future because it's going to take a long time, like years to undo the damage to the reputation of these agencies that we've revered and that we've respected for a long time.
All right.
So I've been under a lot of stress as we have all been following the news cycles.
And I've noticed I'm really like clenching my teeth and grinding my teeth involuntarily.
That is not a good practice.
Fortunately for me, I've discovered Remy Night Guards.
They are the only FDA cleared and clinically tested at-home impression kit night guards online.
On the market, not only do they help prevent teeth damage from grinding, they also help reduce jaw tension and facial muscle strain.
And they absolutely have improved my sleep quality.

Now, that is something to truly be thankful for.
So that's why I trust Remy to protect my teeth using their cutouts.

All right.
And, Pumps, now there's a leaked memo that shows what MAGA is hoping will happen tonight.
Pop this up.
A memo circulating among a powerful Republican donor group outlines what the contributors see as the party's red wall in the Senate.
Alaska, Iowa, Maine, and Ohio.
It shows how closely Republican donors who have financed a spending advantage in Senate races are watching those states in particular.
And when we get to these Republican donors, and you look at the list of individuals that have paid tens of millions, some of them hundreds of millions of dollars, so that they don't have to pay taxes, so that they can exploit their workers, so that they can have a sense of security, so that they can have a sense of security.
So that they can have a sense of security.
It's a system rigged where they just donate money into MAGA, Inc., which is Trump's PAC.
And once they donate into MAGA, Inc., that's Trump's money.
And then Trump uses our government, not his, our government, as though it's his own, to give these fascists, these fascist Republican donors business deals with the credit of the United States American taxpayer.
I want a museum.
I want a museum.
to make policy and it's two years
your point. They would rather give hundreds of millions of dollars to a campaign than to the
people. And when you look at their policies, they want to enforce their agenda, which every
politician in office has a list of policies they would like carried out. These people have a very
specific agenda, which is let's help ourselves. What can we do to help ourselves? This is not
about a constituent. This is not about increasing the minimum wage. This is about how can we line
our pockets and how can we be more powerful? And if nothing else, this Trump 2.0 has taught me
that billionaires are insufferable across the board. I think that once you exploit people,
you enter a state of psychosis. And that's whether you're a billionaire like Elon Musk or Sam Altman
or Jeff Bezos that exploit labor so they can capture more wages for themselves. Or if you're
a democratic politician like Cory Booker that takes money from AIPAC and then the government
of Israel goes and has snipers that shoot little kids in the head and in the heart, like a four
year old just died two days ago during the quote unquote ceasefire. It breaks you. And then you
enter this just broken state of psychosis and the broken people are governing us right now.
And we need to culturally change.
Culturally change. Greedy motherfuckers being labeled as such. Instead, we have a culture that
has been like, oh, they're a billionaire. Oh, wow. I wonder if I can get close to them. I wonder if I
can be around them. It needs to be like how disgusting. And we need to reward billionaires
or very successful business people that say, I've got a net worth that can choke a bull.
This company's making money hand over fist. So here's what we're going to do. We're going to
double all of our employees' salaries. We're going to make sure people have the best insurance on the market. We are gladly going
to pay more in taxes. And guess what? At the end of the day, I'm still rich. And it's going to take
a cultural shift in this that has to start with electing progressives that are ready to take on
oligarchy because that's what this is. And this is going to be one of my favorite
aftermaths of this election if it is a blue NAMI. And my God, I hope it's a blue NAMI.
I'll take a little blue NAMI. I'll take a little blue drop, raindrop. I'll take that. But I want
it to be massive just for spite. All right. But one of my favorite stories, Josh, is going to be
that the Republicans started early to gerrymander and that that didn't work. So pop this up.
Dave Wasserman tweets, big house theme, gerrymandering, not yielding the gains GOP
hoped. At this point, Republicans would be very lucky to net two to five
seats. They targeted in Texas and two to four in Florida. Their biggest Ohio target, Ohio 9,
Representative Marcy Kaptur, will probably hold on. And Republicans could actually lose seats
in North Carolina and Ohio. So that's my favorite, that they wanted to disenfranchise
and rig it. People hate Republicans and Republican policy so much they still
hopefully get their asses handed to them.
Yeah.
We saw this with the states and all the gerrymandering. And we also saw the Supreme
Court gut basically the Voting Rights Act. And so we had this uprising from kind of a
grassroots movement amongst voters that are mad that the courts and the states are trying to tell
them their votes don't count. You know, we see this in Louisiana and Alabama, all across the
country, everywhere, where they're trying to disenfranchise minority votes and not give them
a voice. And so how are we going to respond to that? And I think that's going to be a very,
I think we're going to find out today when we see massive droves of Democrats and minorities
voting. And I think we saw a clip a few weeks ago where they had moved a voting poll
station at a university. And you saw all these kids, a lot of which were minorities, walking
to that poll, which was a symbol of, hey, we don't care what you do. We're going to show up
and we're going to vote. And that's the way people are going to have to operate today.
And you may not want to. You may have child care issues. You may have to work. It doesn't matter.
You know, do the very best you can, but get to the polls today. Vote. This is our
chance to be heard today. If you haven't voted already, do it today. Make it the top priority
above everything else. It's completely, completely unacceptable to not prioritize
voting. This is existential. This is existential for our our country. It is existential for the
most marginalized workers that get exploited hand over fist. The big, beautiful bill,
even if it's not going to work, it's going to work. It's going to work. It's going to work.
Even more of it is going to kick in at the beginning of 2027. People are going to lose so
much. And the rich fat cat fascists that support this prick and all of the pricks that work for
them are going to get richer and they're going to feel good about themselves. And that's disgusting
to me. That fundamentally disgusts me as a human being. But there's good news for Democrats about
polling from The New York Times. Cautiously, we're going to review this together. Squad, pop this up.
Democrats,
lead by enough that they could win the Senate, even if the polls underestimate Republicans
by as much as they did in 2016 or 2020. Let's move on to the next story because I don't want
to fill this until later tonight. J.D. Vance, our little smoky eyed sociopath,
is doing what Republicans do a lot. They love to take credit for Democratic successes. And one of the
more recent ones in recent memory is the Infrastructure Act by the Biden administration.
And the Republicans went out and voted against it. And then once the infrastructure started
in communities, you would see these Republican congresspeople at the ribbon cuttings acting like
they didn't vote against it because they know that these policies are popular with people. So
they want to have it both ways. They want to say to their donors, we're not voting with these
Democrats. But then they want to say to their donors, we're not voting with these Democrats.
They want to go home to their electorate and say, oh, look at what I did for you.
Well, this one is just far beyond that. And of course, J.D. Vance, who is one of the worst
Americans, right up there with Ted Cruz and Stephen Miller. J.D. Vance, who I believe dressed up as a
gay character for Halloween, but that's neither here nor there. I just hadn't mentioned that. I
want to make sure it was in our permanent record on this podcast. He dressed up as a gay person,
for Halloween. He is trying to take credit for Mayor Momdani and Governor Kathy Hochul's
accomplishments in a very blue state that fucking hates MAGA, especially in New York City.
So he takes to Twitter and he pops this up. We got your back, New York. The Trump administration
delivers for New York. He puts safer communities. Working families, tax cuts, and then historic investments. Zoran Momdani is probably
the best politician I have seen since Barack Obama. It's incredible how good he is at this.
And he knows, he's young enough that he knows the popular culture and what ratioing means. And for
those of you that don't know, this is a big thing on social media. So somebody pops something up
and it gets a thousand.
And then somebody retweets it and throws shade at it. And then that shade quadruples or ten times
as much. This is a ratio for the ages. So Momdani responds to the smoky-eyed sociopath with this
video. Play this. So for those of you listening, it's a kid in a yellow construction worker that
acts like he stops the subway. And he's like, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't
acts like he opens the door and acts like he lets people in,
cosplaying doing a work that other people are doing.
Obviously, there's a subway driver who's doing that.
The doors are automatic, but that kid's taking credit as though he's doing that.
Zoran puts no words, just puts that video.
And the ratio the last time I checked this morning was something that J.D. Vance
needs to just go run to Peter Thiel and just,
Peter needs to start lactating so J.D. can just get straight from the tit.
Because it is humiliating for these titty babies.
He just needs to go straight to Thiel's tit and be rocked and coddled
because it is humiliating.
And to Mayor Mom Donnie, the pride that I have living in this city,
this city that is the antidote to all of the shit MAGA says,
it now, it's so shiny right now that even J.D. Vance wants to cling on to some of that shine.
MAGA would never create a multicultural city that embraces people.
And you have a mayor who is earnest that says every single day,
I'm not fighting for these billionaires.
They're doing just fine.
I'm fighting for the workers that put the elbow grease into this city,
but they don't get to reap the benefits.
And I'll leave you with just this one story.
I got to go to the opera, opening night of opera.
last month. And it was incredible. It was just this incredible experience. And I love the arts
and everybody was all dolled up. It was bougie AF. I mean, it was just like, wow. At Lincoln
Center, I was just, and from a gal from Oklahoma City, I was just like, wow, this is magnificent.
I loved it. And so the next day I woke up and Zoran, you know, he's so prolific at social media.
He has done a lottery where everyday New Yorkers can go in and they're going to give away 70,000
free tickets to the opera because the opera should be for everyone, Zoran said. And then
just yesterday, he and this Italian guy who I think is like the president of the opera or
something to do with the New York opera, they did a video together about how important it was that
all New Yorkers be able to experience these things. And that, when I think about the Statue
of Liberty, and when I think about being an American, and I think about going to public
school in America, that we are a melting pot was a big part of my education that informed me
as to what it meant to be an American. That the Statue of Liberty says, bring me your tired,
your poor, your huddled masses, meaning you are welcome here. And I'm just so hopeful. I'm sorry
I'm going off, but I'm just, I'm so hopeful because I want to feel camaraderie and patriotism
with fellow Americans. And I'm not a patriotic person, but I'm really feeling patriotic right
now because I don't want these fuckers to take our country from us. It's ours, broken,
warts and all, it is ours. And I want it to always be a place that welcomes
people, that continues to be a melting pot, and that fights for the underdog. And that's just so
incredibly important to me to feel that. And I hope tomorrow morning as we're sitting here,
we feel that boost that the majority of us are good. Yeah, I agree. And when you look at every
policy made by MAGA, it goes against what you were just saying, what New York City has to offer. They
want exclusion. They want a patriarchy. They want people to have less rights. So this election is so
important because they've been getting away with it for now almost two years of demeaning people
with the racisms out the zoo, the misogyny. So now it's our turn to fight back. And I really
have a good feeling that we will. Josh, final words.
Well, I want to say thank you for explaining his tweet. I think I'm showing that I'm a boomer
a little bit as you talked about it. I had to read the comments. Yeah, I get it. The ratio
thing is key. Like that's where you get all the swag. I did know about that. I understand the
ratio part. But anyway, I'm optimistic. Like we've endured a lot as a country. The last two years
have been hard. It was so hard to process that Donald Trump was reelected two years ago. This
could be the first step and many steps of taking back our country. Hopefully this time tomorrow,
we're talking about the goodness of this country and the elected leaders and the direction that
this country is going, which will be totally different from where we are. And so I'm just
optimistic. And again, everybody make a sacrifice and vote, vote, vote, vote, help people, film,
stand up for what's right, do whatever. But but make your voice heard today.
And then hopefully tomorrow it is sore winter city.
I know there's never been a better sore winter than you.
I'm I we need this America. We need this. All right. Make sure you're subscribed.
