Hebrew Month of Cheshvan | Turning Encounter into Endurance
from The Curt Landry Podcast
42m 42s
The month of Heshvan marks a profound spiritual shift from passive religious routines to active, intentional faith. Drawing on the metaphor of Legos, the podcast teaches that after the celebratory fall feasts, believers must move beyond pre-made traditions and engage with God’s instruction manual — requiring trust, obedience, and personal growth. This transition is not easy; it demands emotional and spiritual discipline, as the "soil" of the heart — shaped by bitterness, fear, or past pain — determines the fruitfulness of spiritual growth. The story of Joseph is central, demonstrating how suffering, betrayal, and displacement were transformed into divine purpose and leadership. The Hebrew tribe of Manasseh symbolizes the necessity of "forgetting the toil of the past" to embrace new spiritual births. Practically, Heshvan calls for cleaning up after celebrations, reflecting on blessings, and journaling to track spiritual declarations. The month also emphasizes the value of patience, boredom, and rest as tools for inner renewal. The rhythm of rest, restoration, and reengagement is vital for lasting transformation. Ultimately, this season is about nurturing the divine seed planted during the feasts, turning pain into purpose, and aligning daily life with God’s kingdom mission.
Let me kind of give you an allegory, metaphorically this month and really this
season the Lord unloads on you this gigantic box of Legos. You can with these
Legos reproduce everything that was pre-manufactured but now you have to
actually get out the instruction manual and start clicking them together. It's
about learning and trusting and becoming more intimate with God the Father but
inconsistency lies the victory. Welcome back to the Curt Landry podcast. I'm
Michael Hirsch your host and online community pastor here at Curt Landry
Ministries. We'll get a question for you. What happens after the fall feasts are
over? During the previous month of Tisserie we hear the show far, we examine our
hearts, we renew our covenant with the Lord and we celebrate his presence but
then the calendar turns. The gatherings end and we return to everyday life. The
Hebrew month of Heshvan contains no biblical feasts but it presents us with an
important spiritual decision. Will we nurture what God planted during the
appointed times or will we return to the patterns that we were called to leave
behind? And so today we're discussing how to turn and counter into endurance,
recognize counterfeits, disguise, this convenience and invite God to transform
past pain into kingdom purpose. Rabbi great to be here in the Florida studio with
you. Hey Michael this is fabulous. Listen I think this is such an important
podcast. One of the things I want to recommend to to the people, I want to
recommend that and this isn't I'm not trying to gain viewership but in
consistency lies the victory. And you'll get that when you hear what we talk
about today. Let me kind of give you an allegory metaphorically this month and
really this season really between now and the coming Passover. It's kind of
like you you had toys. Let's let's be a child. Let's say you're you're like my eight
year old grandson. You you have you've had toys and all of them were pre-manufactured
in let's say 5786 and you had a really good time playing with those toys. Those
habits, those patterns, those things you're familiar with. And then you go
through the fall feast and the Lord visits you from Rosh Hashanah, Yon Kippur
and so called. He visits you and it's like you can keep those toys and get the
same satisfaction but they won't give you the results because playing with those
toys teach you something. But now all of a sudden the Lord unloads on you this
gigantic box of Legos. You can build it into a toy. In fact you can with these
Legos reproduce everything that was pre-manufactured. But now you have to
actually get out the instruction manual. Get out the word. Get out the habits
patterns practices and why and start clicking them together. Now can the
Lord just give you the toys? Absolutely. But he's not interested in the
toys. He's interested in you becoming a new spiritual engineer by following
the instructions at a new level of maturity. And that's what this this month
starts follow the instruction. So you're saying Rabbi there is some assembly
required. Yes. Admittingly I don't necessarily always pull out the
instructions out of the box. Yeah. So I can tell that you're older and that
line that tagline actually comes from a company named Mattel. And I know that
because they're one of their factories they had in Englewood California where I
grew up. But they always had had these beautiful toys and then they would do
the commercial the guy with the voice and then he would say and some assembly
required. Right. Yeah. Which was a lie because it was like you have to get your
dad and you know there's and then you end up with some parts afterwards and go
into where these go. Right. Yeah. Okay. This is that month where you have to have
endurance. Mike on being serious now. But I think people will remember this you're
learning how to play with the old toys that you have at a new level because you
have a sword near mouth that the spiritual warfare. It's about learning and
trusting and becoming more intimate with God the Father more loving more
everything. And and you do that through building the your character and
instruction because the more value character and integrity you have the more
you can understand him because he's full of it. He's full of that love and
integrity. That's good. Now we're going to get more into Heshvan some of the
attributes and and what it really looks like practically for us this month. We
are chatting prior to this episode and I've heard you say before coming out of
fall feast you felt like the month of Heshvan is a month where you can really
put the pedal to the metal. Are you are you sensing discerning and feeling that
this year in 5787 Rabbi? Absolutely Michael. This is a this is 5787 is
acceleration. In fact I can remember because we're our next feast will be Hanukkah.
Hanukkah last year. Listen it all kind of blends together when you do as much
content as we do. But I'll never forget when I was at house of David and I said
get ready for acceleration. So that prophetic word was 5786 there was an
acceleration of a six number man peeling back the flesh. Most people if they
analyze their spiritual life 5786 was a accelerated peeling back of just I
don't want to say it wasn't pleasant but it was a difficult year because you had
to lay down a lot of surrender and ideas. But the whole purpose of unpacking all
that is for now is to absolutely in Heshvan to accelerate forward. The the
biggest mindset that I would give to people is you have to have a expectation
of acceleration and kind of say get out of your mind. The delay season is over.
You know your mind is like a computer. It just you program it to what you're
going through and the whole purpose for me doing the feast is to try to reset
the program and if I could reset it with one word acceleration when you say it
you decree it you speak it if you notice even on social media there's
religious people attacking decrees and proclamations they're saying like oh
they're witchcraft it's like okay whatever I listen I'm not here to argue what
they want but I can tell you this they you they're going to get what they say
whether they like it or not and so for us making positive proclamations put
me into remembrance of my word Isaiah let us contend together that's what these
proclamations are I mean you know God isn't some old guy with dementia and say
yeah would you put me into remembering of my word I think I forgot that one no
he's wanting you to do a prophetic activation of you saying what you need see
he cleanses your heart so that your heart will say what you need so you bring
that which is in heaven to earth it's a it's a biblical principle on on every
level just as a side note anytime religious spirits not people but he uses
people enemy does but anytime religious spirits start hammering on something is
because God's getting ready to accelerate it you know religious spirits are
hammering on Israel well because the blessings are coming out of Zion religious
spirits are hand are hammering apostolic prophetic it's because the Lord is
raising up the end time upon this church I'll build my rock anytime you it
almost is like the enemy is is like a how do I say it's almost like he's
advertisement for for what God's going to do whatever he says just flip it to
the other and like all these bad things are going to happen this year there's
going to be so much shifting and there's going to be huge transfer of wealth
there's going to be supernatural power this is going to be a great year but if
you buy into if your mind set what as a man thinks so he is if you buy into all
the negative then you're going to have a negative year if you don't decree and
you don't proclaim you will not have you have not because you asked not so these
are principles but for our people listen I I've never been more positive but it's
going to be in the midst of chaos but that's how God always promotes I love that
well in our blog we write about heshvan being a month of failing forward or
backward and we speak about Matthew 13 and the seed
where Jesus really teaches about the condition of the soil that will ultimately determine
what happens to the seed, how can we nurture rabbi this month and hash fun, the seed that
was planted in us during the fall feasts so that it produces fruit this month, and not
just fruit this month, but lasting, lasting fruit.
That parable of Jesus is, it's very precious to me, and very practical.
I know it kind of sounds a little, well why didn't you just like spell it out?
You know, I could translate Jesus into the natural.
If you have bitterness in your heart, it's going to not kill the seed, but you're not getting
a hundred-fold return with bitterness and offense anger, so it's kind of like the soil.
So you've got a hundred-fold seed, you put it into that, you may get twenty, but eighty
percent, 90, 70, whatever, you're going to kill the seed with it.
It's your choice.
The seed is your heart.
And then if you're like fearful and worried, the cares of the world, it's stony soil.
Well, if you plant anything in stony soil, wherever there's a rock, a rock negates the
space for a like five or six seeds, so you're not going to get a hundred-fold return.
So you know, Hebrews 4 and 12 says the word of God is sharper than two-edged sword.
The Lord is putting a sword in our mouth.
And what does it do?
The word weighs the thoughts and the intentions of the heart.
The reason we have to be focused on our heart intent is our heart intent is like a thermostat
to whether you get 30, 60, 70, 100-fold.
And you know, that's the laws of the universe, whether you're saved or unsaved.
These are, a lot of times, I guess because I come out of the world and I do business with
people who are in the world, not saved.
And I work with the Israeli government, which most of them are not saved.
When I have to pre-plan, how am I going to have this meeting, this discussion with these
people, the first thing I look at is not how intelligent they are.
This is just me.
I'm just sharing like, I look at, is their heart tender enough with compassion?
Because most of what I'm doing is humanitarian aid.
If they don't really have compassion for their fellow man and what they're suffering through,
then I can't work with them.
It's just like there's going to be no, but I can get with the droos, I can get with Arabs.
I can get with anybody who has a father heart, which I'm not saying they have a father heart
of God, but they have compassion to say, like for instance, these women and children
are suffering and I want to be able to help.
If I can connect there, then I can say, this is what we're able to do.
If I connect with, I think I'll go here, if I connect with somebody who doesn't have
it in the humanitarian aid business, then what will happen is they'll always be the ones
that will corrupt and rob whatever finance or gifts I'm bringing.
Because their mind is on them, so the selfish mind will steal and the humanitarian compassionate
mind will give.
When I get in business, when I start doing projects, I look for somebody that says, oh, I listen
to their words, this will be great for my community.
Oh, I want you to come to our church, our people need what you have.
If I'm starting to hear this would be great for my ministry, I pretty much back off and
say, you're not ready for what I'm bringing.
Because what they'll do is we're going to release power and authority in their church
and it's either going to empower the people or empower the minister.
And if the minister is focused on building his ministry and not taking care of his people,
what we teach won't work.
So that's about when Jesus was talking about the soil.
The return of the soil has to do with the heart who gives and the heart you sow into.
You get those two balance, you're going to get a hundred full return.
It's a law.
It's a spiritual law.
That's good, Rabbi.
So the month of Hashfah, and I'd love to get into the Hebrew tribe associated with it,
Manasa, which really speaks into turning pain into purpose.
And so this month is part of the instruction manual in putting some of these pieces and
connecting the dots.
What can we learn?
And how can we connect the Hebrew tribe of Manasa to this month of Hashfah?
Okay.
In order to understand this month and understand the tribe, the Manasa tribe, this is the thing.
You have to understand where Manasa came from.
This is Joseph's first son, okay?
So short story.
Joseph, his mother's Rachel, his father's Jacob, he's the favorite son because Rachel
was Jacob's favorite wife.
She dies giving birth to the second son, which is Benjamin.
And so now Jacob's suffering from the loss of his favorite wife.
And in the process, he probably overdoes it by giving the code of many colors to Joseph.
Joseph becomes the envy of all of his 11 brothers.
He has a dream.
He says in the dream, you're all going to bow and serve me, which actually happens.
But they make a decision.
They throw them in a pit.
He gets sold into slavery, out of slavery.
He ends up in Potiphar's house.
He's in Potiphar's house.
Everything goes extremely well.
Joseph's wife has a thing for him.
He won't participate in what she wants to do.
She, of course, gets offended, throws him out of the house now.
He's in prison.
He's in prison.
He interprets dreams of two different individuals.
He tells them, don't forget that I did this.
They do forget.
He's actually in prison, I think, approximately three years from the time he interpreted it.
Now Pharaoh, and the reason I'm bringing all this up, is now Pharaoh is in a place where
he's had a dream and he needs to have something interpreted.
Now the reason I get to that place with answering your question a long way is because Keshe
von 5787, we're there right now.
You are all Joseph's, okay?
You're not in the pit, you're not in Potiphar, you're not in the prison.
You are at a place where you're going to be put into people, places, and circumstances
where the gifts and calling that you have are going to be put on demand.
That's why you have to, this is the menacea thing.
Menacea, his name means to forget the toil of my father's house.
So what happened is not getting the position as Prime Minister of Egypt, the most second
most powerful person in the world at that time, but he gives Joseph a wife, and this Egyptian
wife has this first son, and this first son is such a gift of hope to him that he names
him.
Menacea, I forget the toil of my father's house.
Keshe von, what is going to be birth for you between now and really next Passover, you're
going to have spiritual, like birds, of new relationships, new assignments, new authority
that are going to cause you to forget the toil of what happened in 5786, 85, 84.
This is a time where the Lord brings love, peace, and healing to you with results and new
people, new energies, and it starts in this month of hezhe von.
And the reason you have to be aware of this is because if you allow the pain of yesterday,
it steals the endurance you need today to embrace the blessings.
Would I go too long on that, but that's an encouraging, powerful word.
But you have to understand what Joseph, like, if you don't understand, you're a Joseph
right now.
This whole staff, everybody in this building are Joseph's, and what's happening is what
you have is you have a Menacea in you, and probably in the next coming years you have
an Ephraim, you know, the multiplication.
But if you're focused on the barrenness of when you were in the pit, Apodifer's house,
prison, if you're, if you're Apodifer, pit, prison, mindset, you won't be given birth
to your Menacea.
That's good Rabbi.
Just thinking about, I love how you honed in on forgetting the past disappointment, then
fast forwarding in the story with Joseph and his brothers and saying, God used all of it.
He used the disappointment, he used the challenge, he used the circumstance all for the good,
all for God's glory to advance.
his mission into advance his his kingdom. So I hope there's a sense right now in those that
are watching and hearing of expectation. If it's not there already, that's going to build in
their hearts and in their spirits. Yeah, right now this is the month where one of the notes we
have in the in the blog, convenience can counterfeit obedience. Your obedience is going to be tested
because you you have to be obedient to what God has called you to do. Think about it. There's
a famine in in the Holy Land. There's a famine in the Promised Land and all Joseph's brothers
not Benjamin, but 10 come to Egypt. When they come to Egypt, they're going to an a in Egyptian prime
minister makeup, costume, uniform, everything. And they have no idea they're talking to their brother.
But the whole purpose is he had to wait in obedience. He could have said, why don't I just go and
take off my uniform and say, I'm Joseph, you guys didn't kill me. Look how prosperous I am. He
didn't do it. There was a process of preparing his heart. So that when Benjamin did come back,
he had a dinner for him. And this is the most powerful thing through through waiting on God's
timing because only God knows the timing of healing your heart. Chevon, Hachvon, this is when it
starts and Hachvon. So what's happening here in Hachvon is this. This is so important.
The key to everything you've been through to get it to multiply to your Frem your next
season is when you can say what the enemy meant for bad, the Lord used for good to bring life to
many. If you wouldn't have thrown me in the pit, I wouldn't have learned all my lessons through
everything I've been through. I would not have been promoted to be the second most powerful person
in the largest country in the world to put together a plan to preserve food for seven good and
seven bad. And now literally the whole world is going to be saved at the world as we knew it at
that time. And because of the unique pruning and really perfecting of Joseph brought life
a type of Christ where he comes, he laid down his life and then he became the bridge for everyone
to be able to survive. And so the convenience and the timing, it probably would have been more
convenient for him, but his heart wasn't ready to speak to the 11 brothers yet. And that's the key
to this month. Your heart is being prepared for when you do confront those in the past who betray
you, who lied, cheated and steal. And everyone has those people. It's not like, oh, it's only
these few people. No, everybody goes through these things whether they're family or friends or ex-wives
or whatever or ex-husbands. And the key is when you are really ready to get to the multiplication side,
you have to understand the healing process of God to deliver and heal your heart. So you're speaking
and this year, the covenant words of God. I love that speaking the covenant words of God. That's
powerful Rabbi. You know, thinking about coming out of the fall feast in this in this month, and
I was reflecting upon just different moments of my life when I would work towards something,
some type of an event or moment and you put in a lot of work and effort and then you experience
the moment. And so we just experience a powerful, powerful fall feast season. And then you come out
of that and, you know, you get back home or, you know, into your day-to-day and things seem quiet,
you know, the lights are dimmed down just a little bit. And how would you encourage us
in the day-to-day this month when we don't necessarily have a, or a few months out from our next,
our next feast? What does a day-to-day look like for us on a practical, practical standpoint?
Which would be, we would be paying attention to. I think, Mike, I think it, embracing the practical.
Okay. We're getting ready. We're coming up on Thanksgiving. And
here's the thing. I personally am, I start right after the fall feast, start planning in my head,
what am I going to do for Thanksgiving? So that's quite a ways out. So I'm anticipating what I'm
going to do new and different. When I actually do the day of Thanksgiving, I'm the one that fixes
the turkey and I have a special way of doing it. And, but by the time I do my part of the cooking,
it creates a huge mess in our kitchen. There's a lot of tools, instruments, kitchen tools,
and equipment that will all be soiled to get to this beautiful table with no sign of what's in
the kitchen. Because by the time you get to the dining room or wherever you're going to eat the
meal, there's no evidence of what is left in the kitchen. And this month is kind of like,
and it's kind of, well, now you have to go back to the kitchen. And you go, oh my gosh,
this stuck to the bottom. This is burnt. This is that. All the stuff you have to do. And so what
you're doing is you're cleaning up after the celebration. And the joy for the cleaning up in the
celebration for me is to remember to celebrate in the cleanup. And what I do personally is,
and it's just, but this will work even in the spirit realm, is, um, Kristi and I both will do the
cleanup. And she usually does a little more than I do, but I take care of most all the, all the
cooking. So, and because I love it, it's a hobby for me. But when we go in there, we clean up together,
but then after we get cleanup together, I always go and say, let's go to a release one of our
favorite restaurants. And let's let somebody else serve us. And so in the spirit realm in the month
of Khashvan, you can say, well, I'm going to clean up all these messes. But, um, let's go and have
a special dinner with whoever your family or whatever. And then let's review all the things
that the Lord gave to us. The Lord healed us from this. The Lord blessed us here. We're believing
for this financial blessing to come. It hasn't come yet. And then take an inventory. That's why it's
so important to journal. Take an inventory of everything you proclaimed and decreed. So,
what it does, yes, you have to do them on day. Yes, you have to change behaviors. Yes, you have
to clean the kitchen for the next event. But go out to eat, so to say what I'm saying and go out and
bless, enjoy the blessing. But then put yourself into remembrance of all the different things you
decreed. And then any testimony at all that's already happened, magnify those with gratitude.
That's good. I love, I love where you started with that because I think sometimes we can get caught
up in what we're believing God for, where we're exercising His faith. And I think of the word
yet. Like you put a yet on it. So, if you're believing for particular provision or healing,
it's not that God hasn't done it. It just hasn't happened yet. Combined with being able to
also look back, I think of Moses with the notches and his staff. Those notches were to remind,
I believe they were to remind him of where God intervened and where He performed the miraculous,
which gives you the opportunity then to really cultivate and nurture that gratitude,
which I believe goes back to the seed that we're talking about in Matthew 13.
Yeah. Well, you can't, I guess you can't have a mindset that, oh gosh, look at this kitchen.
Listen, I've had that. We have done some huge Thanksgiving meals at our house. And everybody
leaves and everything is great. And then you come back in and you go, oh my gosh, almost every pot
and pan bowl, everything is out. And now it needs to go back and find its place. And we're not
to, we don't like to like leave it overnight. We're going to take care of it. So if it means going
to 10, 11 at night, this month is kind of like, okay, the Lord dealt with us. He healed us. He dealt
with different issues. We have all these dirty dishes of our past. So let's clean everything up so
that we can put it in its right place. So when God prepares us for the next meal that we're to
cook in the spirit, we go and everything's clean and ready to go. I love that. You know, I mean,
that's the best analogy. But I understand the overwhelming
well me side of it. But it's okay. Don't despise the mundane. I'm just speaking to
you guys. I hate to age myself. But as a baby boomer, we learned how to wait. We learned
how to anticipate what was coming. I'll just give you an example. At my family, if you're
raised in the 50s and the 60s, then what happens is I can remember when we've got our first
television. And my parents were kind of lower middle class. So the wealthier people across
the street had a colored TV. That was a big deal. We had black and white. But what happened
is you had to wait for your favorite program. And it came on at that time, the whole family
waited for it. And you couldn't just like get your phone out and pull up and say, "Oh,
it's archived." There's no waiting on anything. The sad thing about not being so to say
emotionally programmed to wait is it it's very difficult with the Lord because Heschvann
is the month where you're waiting. You're waiting on that program. And dealing with disappointment
like where you're waiting on the program. And then your parents say, "Oh, so and so your
grandparent went to the hospital." And so now we're all going to load up in the car
and go to the hospital and visit grandma. And well, it's like, "Well, wait a minute.
I waited all week. It's program comes on at six o'clock on Thursdays. And now we're
going." And then you have to wait a whole other week. There's the waiting. And I will
say this other thing is being bored. While you're sitting in the hospital waiting for
at grandma, you can't pull out a tablet. Here's your tablet. Here's whatever. You know,
you might be able to bring a book or whatever. But you're going to have to sit in the waiting
room and be around other people who are waiting. I think the month of Heschvann, we have to
learn how to wait and learn how to be bored. What I'm saying is being bored. It's like,
you have to learn how to a quiet time of being bored is a time of introspection to be able
to go inward and have conversation with God. Lord, I think a lot of people associate
with deliverables, results, and rewards for happiness. And that's what I'm talking about.
So my generation, we had to wait for everything and we were bored a lot. And what it did is
it gave our generation a creativity because we could find a stick and take out our pocket knife
and turn it into whatever we wanted the stick to be. And in this current situation that
we're in now is you don't really need as much imagination. You can just Google it and it
comes up. I'm bringing this up not to be the old foggy. I'm bringing this up to be spiritually
the month of Heschvann. You have to say, I'm going to wait and I'm going to appear to be
bored in the sense that I'm not seeing anything. I'm going to learn to wait and trust in God.
And that God's timing is absolutely perfect. That's the story of Joseph. Joseph, when the
Lord had Jacob sent Benjamin back and they were all there, he sent all his Egyptian staff
out and he said, I am Joseph, what the enemy meant for bad. That day, that timing, that
hour was absolutely perfect for salvation of all the brothers and him. And we wouldn't
be sitting here today. There would be no Jesus if it wasn't for that day. That's so good,
Rabbi. You made me think of around around our house. We call use the word boredom. We
let our kids know they're going to be times and moments where we are not going to have each
day, each hour, each minute, each second programmed. And we let them know it's going to be, you're
going to get a chance to experience, we call it beautiful boredom. I love that. I love that.
I love that. It just is and gives them opportunity, I think, and even me. And I think this applies
to all of us, not just kids. I think it's really foster and nurture just the curiosity that
God has instilled in us. And I think Jesus exemplified that often throughout the Gospels, where
he would get away, just reading in Luke where he would, where he woke up early before dark.
And he would, before light, I should say. And he left the house. So he could go out and
be with a father, just something, there's just something about that. Well, this month, I
guess what I'm trying to say, just a, this is a month to wait and embrace the changes so
that the changes the Lord asked you to do in the fall, feasts become more familiar, automatic
and practical. This is that month. And so what happens is if you resist, I think I, I said
that in kind of a shock way in some of the services, I said, the reason you're suffering
right now is because you stink at this new level. So it's, and I was telling people,
it's okay to stink. There's other words I could use. And I thought, then, you know,
as other words, that means that you stink, but I chose stink. The reason I do that because
I want them to remember, I'm giving them permission, stink away because you have to, this month
is where you're finding out this, the war this month, Michael is, I'm going to go back
to where I didn't stink, what I was good at. Yeah, but what you were good at is playing
with the toys that were already prefabbed. Now you got the Legos. Now you're going to have
to pull out the instruction. Here's the beauty. Those, those toys that you have, that dump
truck, that fire truck, whatever it is, that dollhouse, whatever, whatever it is, it is
frozen in time. It is what it is. It has no potential of growing or changing. The only
thing that grows and change with these toys is you, but with Legos, you can take Legos
and you can build them into anything you want. They transform. They go to different levels.
You can go get more Legos. I mean, you can do whatever. This is the Lego instruction for
the human being, right here. You can take small little gifts and ideas, times, seasons,
prayer, praise, fasting, wisdom and knowledge, praying and tongue, praise and worship. All
these Legos here, you can take them and assemble them into whatever you need and do season.
And this is a month where you pick it up and say, I'm done with baby toys. I'm going
to start building my life into what I was called to do into that workmanship that was prepared
beforehand. I love that. You beat me to it. I was just getting ready to pick up my manual
all over here. But as we bring just this conversation, this episode to a close rabbi,
there was, we're all wired differently. But if there was a rhythm, maybe you can give
us a few. But if there was a rhythm that you would encourage this month of Hashvan to
establish this month, what would you encourage? I'll give you a word for it. Rest is the
doorway to restoration. If there's a certain amount of woundedness that people have,
weariness and rest is one of the keys. So when you're in Hashvan and you're saying, okay,
the Lord told me, I went through the feast. I sowed a big gift. I prayed. I proclaimed.
I immersed in the, I've done everything, all the instruction. No doors are opening for
me. Everything, nothing's changed. In fact, I'm, all I am, I'm in a room with crickets
and it's boring. Nothing's happening. My phone's not ringing. This is, and the Lord says,
I am wanting you to rest and trust in me that it's coming. It's coming. But I want you
to be restored before you reengage. That would be the word. This month is rest, restore,
reengage. Yeah, that's great. Rabbi, could you close us in prayer? And I want to go back
to the word you spoke to us earlier about anyone right now that may be hung up on some
sort of disappointment and pain that's keeping them this month, coming out of fall fees.
Now we're into 57, 87 from moving forward. And so could you pray and speak into that
as we, as we close? I'll do that. Father God, we come to you now and
Yeshua's name. First of all, I want to thank you for every single person who is following
us, listening, subscribing, being a part of the solution. You know, sometimes I'm overwhelmed
by the message of one new man. It's a message of reconciliation, Jesus commissioned us to
reconcile.
It's normal. There's no shame. You're not damaged. Goods. You're not, you know, you may think you're not smart enough. Whatever it is none of that is true.
What is true is this. As human beings, we all struggle with change. Change is as a difficult season and a difficult concept.
So my biggest prayer for you is Father God in Yeshua's name. I released the grace and the peace of God to embrace the new beginning, the new you, the restored you, the called you, the chosen you.
The one who is ready to arise, gather and go. The one who is anointed and appointed for this season of time.
Let the peace of God and the warring angels and the ministering angels around you and your home bring peace.
As you so to say, come out of the cocoon of last season into the butterfly that you will renew your youth and you will soar and rise up with wings like eagles.
May the Lord bless you and keep you and may the Lord make his face shine upon you and may the Lord give you shalom. God bless you.
Amen. Amen. Rabbi, as always, great to be here with you and back in the studio here in Florida.
Yes. Well, if Hashfond reminds us that lasting transformation, it's not measured only by what we experience in God's presence, but by how faithfully that we carry that encounter into everyday life.
This month, let's nurture what God has planted. Let's choose obedience over convenience and allow him to transform our pain into purpose.
This conversation encouraged you. We like to remind you each week, but be sure to like and subscribe.
That helps us to spread the message of one new man around the world and share this episode with someone who wants to keep growing after a significant spiritual fall fees season.
Also, want to encourage you to visit curtlandry.com for additional teachings and resources like the blog that I mentioned. Also, too, you can find resources like our fall calendar, our 5787 calendar.
Give us opportunities to walk in covenant revelation and discover kingdom purpose. Again, thank you so much for joining us and we look forward to seeing you next week. Shalom.
