Healing through Spinal Energetics with Arwinder Saini.

In this podcast episode, the host welcomes Irwin Therseni, a practitioner of Spina energetics, a modality designed to release stored traumas from the body by working with the nervous system and spine. Irwin explains that the practice involves gentle touches that guide the body to heal itself, tapping into its innate wisdom. The founder, Dr. Sarah Jen, a chiropractor, combined Western and Eastern philosophies to create this approach. A key feature is that sessions can be conducted remotely, making it accessible for those with anxiety, physical limitations, or a preference to avoid touch. The host shares her own experience, noting movements in her chest and throat area, which Irwin attributes to heart and throat chakra work. They emphasize that the body often resists change due to familiar discomfort, but the modality helps it feel safe enough to release trauma. The conversation also touches on the importance of inner healing over external fixes, as unresolved trauma can lead to repeated negative patterns. Irwin stresses that the practitioner simply facilitates, allowing the individual to process their own emotions. The host reflects on how the session left her feeling calm and regulated, highlighting the value of nervous system support in navigating life’s challenges without fear or blame.

Hi everyone, welcome back to For the Healers and the Healing. Today I have a special guest, I'll let her introduce herself, but she's here to speak about Spina energetics, which is like my favorite discovery honestly this year. And I'm so thankful that she agreed to come on, so I'm gonna let her introduce herself and then we'll go from there. Ah yeah, first of all thank you for having me here. And my name is Irwin Therseni and I practice Spina energetics, which is basically modality to help you release your stored traumas from your body. Yeah. Okay, yeah. I can call you Irwin now, right? Yeah, you can call me Irwin, it's easy to name. Yeah. So, okay, this was a listener, so we've obviously communicated before the podcast, so I'll just say a little, and Irwin you can correct me where I'm wrong or add to it, but we think something that you're really interesting is Irwin is of Indian descent and she currently lives in Canada, I think you say Calgary, right? Yeah. Yeah, so I think that's really cool. I think one of the reasons for me, I love this podcast is you can connect different people all over the world doing different things, I think healing comes in a lot of ways and I feel like we shouldn't limit ourselves, right? Because life shouldn't, isn't supposed to be hard if we can all tap into our gifts and support each other, you know? So let's talk about Spina energetics. Would you please explain that for us? Like if someone was asking what's Spina energetics? And hold up, you first say something. I think this, the reason I say this has been my favorite discovery this year is because, so I was seeing videos where people are using energy to move people's bodies without touching them and I was like, wait, that's wild. And I know most people would be scared of that, but I think just seeing some of the people who would say they had done it, I was like, wow, this is like magical, right? And so for me, that's why this is exciting. I think one of the things I'm really interested in right now is ways of healing where people are not necessarily having to repeat the trauma by talking about it, right? I think that that's the Western way of doing it a lot of times, right? And I'm showing other cultures, but I feel like it's more Western, right? There's a lot of therapy going around, there's a lot of medical things, but as someone who has tried a lot of modalities, I'm just kind of, I don't know, like I'm tired of talking about things, right? Like you talk about it, you talk about it, and then it's like you're relieving it, relieving it, right? And at a setting point, it's like, how do we move forward, right? But also, I think it's very supportive to find things that can tap into your body. I think as I get farther in this journey, I'm learning that as within, so without, right? So it's really teaching me that one of the most important things you can do for your life is regulate your nervous system. We were talking with Arlen, before, they said about how like a lot of times, after you do spine and energetics, you feel really calm. Like even if other things are going on, like you are just like, like it's almost like you're floating, and I think that's really special because a lot of times when there's a lot of pressure and a lot of things going wrong, we're like, you know, pressured, we make the wrong decisions, we make situations worse, right? And so I think like nervous system support is so important, it really helps. And we're all going to go through something, it's a matter of how do we go through it, right? And how do we support each other and keep going up instead of going lower, you know? So anyways, I just wanted to say that, like, can you explain spine and energetics, I feel like I give it a way, but can you explain spine and energetics, please? Yeah. Like you explain really well, like it's really relate to me as well. Actually I was also going through a lot, which like only, it depends on individual to individual, like there are a lot of things we can do for treating our mental health, but nobody can understand what's going on in you, in your mental level and emotional level. And in that search, and like, so I also came to know about this modality and I also saw that these videos and, but it is like, what is genuine and what's not genuine, you can tell that, right? And the founder of this modalities, Dr. Sarah Jen, she's a chiropractor and she works in, like, almost overall, or globe now, but when I came to know about this modality, she was only doing in Australia and America. So I was not able to do it for two years. And then when it was my calling, it, she just came to Canada and then I just said, no, it's my time now. So it's basically treating your nervous system and spine with gentle touches and practitioner basically don't do it anything. They just guide the body to do their own work because there isn't a innate wisdom in your body that is called your nervous system. And when there is like stored traumas, there are so many traumas from your childhood. You can tell like there are so many in your life too, right? So we basically tap the energy back like to make their body do what it's want to do, right? Maybe I'm not a good person to tell it very nicely, but I will do my best. And then like when I came to know that this, she's coming to here in Canada. So I booked it and then there is a criteria to get into that program. And so she asked me so many questions, which was related to my spirituality and everything. So then I said, yes, this is what I really want to do. And that helped me a lot with my own mental health journey. Yeah. Okay, I see. Yeah, so you say it's basically a way to regulate the nervous system, right? Yeah. And I think so. Well, you say a lot of good things, but I think it's really, I love that you say that the person who introduced you to it was a chiropractor because I love chiropractor work like so much. I always feel like I always feel like the world is new after chiropractic work. Yeah, but I don't like about chiropractic work is it's in person, right? Yeah, this is kind for me. This work can be removed like online and in person also because energy is like we can transform energy from one place to another. And it's all about how your body reacts when you connect with yourself and the practitioner connect with you. So it's magical. Like I can't even explain properly like how it it worked for me. Like when I took first session, it was intense. And I was not expecting what will happen. Like it was intense. And it's it's all about experience. We can't explain. We can tell. what I have experienced because it's how you will experience it's different right so it's individual to individual it's unique to everybody yeah yeah yeah yeah I love that you say that so yes say that's one of my favorite things is that you can do this work remotely because like personally I work in healthcare and I'm a germophilum honestly I don't like being touched they don't like being in a lot of places I'm very specific about where I go and so for me I think this is like this is game-changing especially when I think about like I worked with veterans right who have a hard time living their house because it's easy right or maybe older people like there's a lot of people that would really benefit from this work right and then if you think about even people with social anxiety right like apart from just the fact that they don't have to go outside but I think it can also help stabilize their nervous system so they can feel that they can go outside you know without anxiety but I think there's so much anxiety that's going around and I think that yeah we can do medication but there's side effects right and then just seeing the doctor all the time it's like increasing your anxiety I don't know it's just really thankful for it but yes especially because it can be remotely for the listeners we actually did a session on me on Monday our winded a session on me and she was like you can wait and see how you feel and in this session like I can describe it I had a lot of movements but it was mostly in like practice area and it was sunny because our wind was like oh it's your heart chakra and your throat chakra that's where I do most of the work all of them all of the chakras are related as you know but I it was definitely feeling it around my chest area like my arms were moving and kind of contracting around my chest and so I'm really interested and I was honest with our wind like I have a lot of like things that I have to work through with my heart chakra like forgiveness and to align a lot of things right and so I'm just thankful like to find a modality where it's like it's like someone going into your body and pulling it out of you right that's what it feels like even when you watch the videos a lot of times it feels like someone going in and like pulling stuff out of your body but actually it's not like that like some like it's your own body which is releasing strong traumas we just get inputs from outside from your spine that how your body guide us like being a practitioner I am guided by your body that yeah I need attention here so I just try to access that point and tell your body to go tell your energy to go at that specific point which was neglected and like your nervous system don't it resists actually to change it's like unfamiliar the body will always resist because it's a familiar discomfort you know and when we give them a good feeling it feels safe when your body feels safe then it will say no it's something we are going on in the body because it's habitual of staying in discomfort right so it's all your body doing the work but we are just facilitating it if that makes sense actually I think I love that I really love that you say that because I'm kind of in a season where I think I've gone through a season where I was like oh let me get this thing and it will help me do this and get this thing and it will help me do this and the message I keep getting from like the universe from God like is just that is just that all the answers are within me right like I have the answer and I think a lot of times we attempt to look outside of ourselves right like let me get medication right let me get um I don't know like let me buy this thing or that thing right move here and move there and I think for me what the big lesson that I found is you will not find the answer until you tap back into yourself yeah you have to work in your in yourself your inner pulse which is like telling you that I'm not stable inside I want to do something you have to do something you know your body is guiding you old time but we don't listen because we are trained to stay in that panic and um that's like smooth where we have to go always go go go we can't relax right so this modality helps to go in that deep state where your body can relax and put attention where it needs to go and release your traumas by itself yeah there's so much to talk about but yeah I definitely I think yeah I think to what I was saying about that you're the answer is so important because like I'm the kind of person who will be like wow this person give me so much trouble like this relationship I'm gonna go and try a different relationship but this place gave me so much trouble and I try a different place yeah I think it keeps coming to me that it doesn't matter where you go until like you work on your inside you're gonna keep having the same things no matter where you go so it's really not the place or the person or whatever it's really in you right so a lot of time you can blame we can like go to a store and we can be like I hate this store I hate this store I hate this store but I think when we think of energy and the fact that it's not you can't see it right so a lot of times you will have a high time believing in it right but I think in this season I'm learning more that you really do attract what you are what I think it'll anxious I'm like oh I need to hurry and regulate my nervous system because whatever your vibrating is what you're attracting right so a lot of times it's a matter of like I have to patch it really fast because I didn't always know that so I would make the situation worse right because I'm like oh I need this person to do this different or this different but the more I tap into myself and like calm myself then I'm like oh I'm the world is okay I don't cause more problems the world doesn't cause problems for me you know yeah we actually we don't see the good things out like outside until we heal ourselves like we need to heal or like change the perspective or have a collateral that yes here is the problem it's inside and when when we deal with that we step up and when we step up that you can see the good things outside that like the grass is green it's not just a grass it's not just a leaf it's a green color leaf if it makes sense right we start looking like deep to deep things when we are regulated and when we are not we just ignore them and we are just blaming other the outer environment that we are not getting that peace right yeah when we're the ones creating it and I think honestly it's really hard right I think a lot of times we've called blame people who are negative right yeah and I feel like I'm in a season of having a lot of compassion for people who are negative right when you think of people who have gone through deep deep trauma right they don't know this right so for them like we're in a victim mindset right and we're like this thing this thing this thing but there are certain things where it's like how can you not be in a victim mindset right and so I think for me I'm passionate about this work because a lot of people who go through trauma they keep recreating the same thing yeah yeah right and a lot of times they don't know that right they're like them I've been through so much why do I keep attracting worse right and it's because a lot of times it's also the body and the truth is everyone attracts things right like everyone has good and bad happen to them it's just the matter how you handle it right because the same an accident can happen to me and I might be like oh let me figure out how to maneuver correctly and get a new car or maybe I'm I'm gonna be happy without a car, right? But then someone else, it might be. happen to them and they might like I don't know because another acts like I don't know like maybe go hurt someone else because they're pissed you know or whatever I feel like it's just a matter of like we all go through things it's just a matter of how you go through them do you know does the situation become more so better because I believe that most situations that they're well all situations are there for our own good right it's just a matter of like can we regulate ourselves through it to see they get right and all about perspective I think yeah yeah and also not to suffer twice right like something bad's going on why would I make it worse you know like I can try to go through it the best way I can so yeah but no I I definitely am thankful for this work and I think a lot of I'm not sure you know I think the tricky thing is like the Western side is so big on um medicine and in all these things that we don't really want to acknowledge the other ways of healing and I'm not saying there's not a place for medicine it's just a matter of can we try other things or actually this is that's why she made the the founder of this modality that's why she made this uh because it's a mixture of a western and eastern philosophies like chiropractic things and rakey and Kundalini and Buddhism a lot of things it's it's a mixture of a lot of things you'll go like but but the thing is until you experience you will not know what it is right that's why I told you the first experience and then I think it's better to talk about this yeah yeah no for sure so I guess so I think I saved my part of what it what I experienced what was your experience of like you doing the session and me it's for like most of the things is about what do you feel and I guess sorry I guess I meant like you know how sometimes people when you know how sometimes like some people react like that they have like a strong reaction or like a kind of mild reaction like what was your what were your observations yeah it was your first session and it was really good because you already have like connection with yourself right so mostly people have hard time to connect with them and they can't experience fully what this modality can give to them just because the connection build up and it takes a little bit time but with you it was like good I can say that you experience in your first session because your nervous system was come and what I was expecting that you will you will not connect with yourself because there there was a lot of going as you said but it's hard when when there is going a lot of things it's hard to connect with yourself but you did it and and that's that's the beauty of this modality like yeah even even you are so distressed like in your body will react but sometimes you will feel it and but sometimes you will not but this energy work will do work it's like it will do its own work yeah yeah I see what you're saying yeah after the session I was discussing a situation in someone and they were like oh I don't know you should be scared and I was pissed because I was like wait don't make me I am my nervous system is very good right now don't make me tap into fear you know so I think I think we also have to be careful about like the people we surround ourselves with and who we're having conversations with like I don't have a lot of conversations with a lot of people that are deep or just like I don't know I'm like pretty private because a lot of people there's a lot of fear going on yeah you're right as I said it's about genuine and non-genuine people around there there a lot of people have bad intentions and they pass on that bad intentions right and you can feel that but in this work we just go with what the body needs what your body needs not what we want or what we have intentions the practitioner being practitioners right so we just help you to regulate your own nervous system like we bring the pharmacy to you and you can deal with your own things whatever you want to take from your pharmacy right I'm not a one who will give you take this tablet take this tablet I'm not the one who will pick the tablet for you and give it to you right it's just you who is picking the tablet and taking it if that makes sense to you right but we are just bringing the pharmacy the whole pharmacy to you no that makes sense so you're like basically giving me the cream and then I decide where to put it yeah you are right you got it yeah but so I think you say the difference between this and like Raykey is like Raykey it's like they're giving you energy but here you're just kind of freeing the energy to to heal the body right yeah we just make like the body we're triggering the traumas in your body that they can process you can process the trauma by yourself we are just triggering the specific area which was getting neglected or you are resisting to process because we don't like to have that discomfort feeling and to pursue we we don't want to set by ourselves like if I'm going through any trauma I will avoid to sit with myself and just surpasses like I will go somewhere or talk to somebody I will take my the surrounding help who can help me who can help me but the thing is I will not sit with myself and let my body do what it needs to do because it's emotion it's energy which needs to be processed until and it's gone it's released right because it's energy energy will never get destroyed in this cosmos it's a form it will stay always you can just elevate it or degrade it but it's only you who can do it not any other person but we rely on other person we seek help from outside instead of inside from the system makes sense yeah I see what you're saying so is it would you call it like you release the blocks like you can feel like in my heart like the energy is tied up there kind of like a ball that you release we can't say we can't use sorry we can't use the uh word block uh because nothing can be blocked or activated because it's just flow sometimes the flow is not there in the body it just stops the muscles is have water in there we have water in the muscles fibers and sometimes there's so much contracted by the trauma or any issue that there is less flow on that particular area and same with the chakras and energy level we just need to move the energy and that flow will maintain and everything can be smooth as before we take block as a negative word that's why I don't want to use it but it's not negative it's just stoppage like if uh if there is a pipe if we press from outside it will block the holds water like it will not let the water go further right and if you release the pressure from the vibe, water will flow as it was flowing normally. That's same like with our body. Yeah, I see what you're saying. So you say it's a combination of a lot of things, right? I see. So what made you feel like it was your calling? Because nobody helped me when I needed help. I was not able to find out what's bothering me. I had everything what I wanted when I needed like I had money. I was at perfect place. I loved ones. Like at one stage I had everything but there was still there was missing. Something was missing. And then and it was I knew that something is bothering from inside. And I have like connection with myself or my childhood. And it's always like I need to do more with this like inner work thing. Then when I felt that sadness in my body and everything, even I had everything, then I felt like this thing can heal me. It was just a sense like vibration that yeah, I need to do this because I was what I was feeling. I was thinking and watching in others too, like being a physiotherapist. I was treating patients and every patient I was treating, I was looking at them as they are also going from trauma. It's not physical, the language is bothering them. It was beyond that. Same like me. And what I was feeling, I was feeling same for them. So that pushed me more further to take this morality. Yes, I want to go deeper in the brain and treat them on the energy level and mental level instead of just treating them on physical. And then like because I was also going through the same things. And when nobody helped me and then I just took this path to treat myself first and then treat others too. Yeah, you said you were a physiotherapist? Yeah, I have done bachelor's in physiotherapy from India. Oh, it's physiotherapy? Yeah. What is that? What is that about? It's like treating your physical disorders like after you get fracture or anything example of it. Okay, I think here they call it physical therapy, right? Physical therapy over here, yeah. Okay, like if you do surgery, then you do have to do therapy or rehabilitation. Exercise is an everything to restore the functioning of the muscles and everything. Okay, no, that's good. I actually have a put one of my episodes is with a physical therapist. So that's good because I think that's well for me. I know that's my thing with this podcast, right? Right now, while I keep starting like one of the things I had to write a post yesterday and I wrote about how I believe in religion, I believe in medicine, right? I believe in what's that going to say therapy, right? Like I believe in all the things, but there's still things that need to be healed on a different level, right? We're not quite honoring them, right? And people are struggling and it shouldn't be like that, right? Because people are getting worse and healthcare is getting more expensive, right? And people are getting lost in the mix, you know? So I appreciate you saying that you have that background because as someone who also has a huge background in healthcare and in mental health and in just surgery, right? And a lot of things, I still believe that there's a place for this work because we're looking to be healed in different ways that we haven't been able to be healed by what we already see, right? Yeah, was your first session at the, when you went to see the lady who made this modality, who started it? Yeah, sorry, I didn't get the question. Was your first session with her or did you just only go to health for training? I had an online session with another practitioner, but not with my mentor, but I was really impressed and curious to have a session from her founder, Dr. Sarah Jane. And then I just took the course just to experience it. And it was, it was, it was really big decision for me, but God made me do it. How long was the course? It was four days training, yeah, four days training and then assignments, like you have to submit the assignments and everything. So do you, when you treat people, how long, wait, okay, I have multiple questions. You still practice as a physical therapist? And not over here because I, I'm pursuing my registration here, like I was working as assistant, physical therapy assistant here, but not right now, but like I am more forward looking forward to this modality, but I am pursuing side by side and pursuing my registration, or physical therapy. I need to give exam and everything to get registered here. Okay, when did you move from India to 2021 April? Okay, I see, so it's been like four or five years. Yeah, yeah, I see. Okay. So when you treat people, how long does it take for them? Like how many sessions do you recommend? Well, as a human person. Yeah, like it depends on everybody and it, it depends like from what they're going through and how their body responds. And whenever they need, basically tell people your body will tell you when you will need your next session. But I recommend having two sessions in a week when you are connected to your body and you are feeling that, yeah, I'm having that response and trauma releases, right? If you're not feeling that much, you're not connected with yourself. Native days, initially you need alternative days for session and then when you are connected and your body is doing your, it's own work, then you can come like once weekly and then further once in a month. And then like whenever you are body needs. Okay, I see what you're saying. Yeah, I mean, that's fair, right? Because there's so much that's happening, right? And I think even sometimes when we wish something didn't affect us, there's a lot of times something will happen that will affect you and you need another session, right? Yeah, maybe you like make maybe I have a session today and I feel good, I feel great, but maybe tomorrow like an accident happens, right? Or someone something happens to a friend or whatever, right? And I think that sometimes what's not understood about trauma is it can be like you don't get to decide if you're traumatized or not. You know what I mean? It's just one of those things where it's a matter of view, decide if that trauma continues in you or not, right? So I think for me like part of the reason I collect a lot of trauma healing methods is because I don't want the trauma to affect the rest of my life, right? And also how can I stop it as soon as possible, right? Those that affect the soon as possible, right? It's the same way as if you feel like, oh, I might be getting depressed. You might say, hey, let me hurry to the doctor because I don't want this to get worse, right? Because like, depression is on a continuum. Some people might be like, "Oh, I just can't get out of bed, right?" But if they let it go on six months later, they'll say, "Oh, I can't even get up to shower. I've been in bed for like a week, you know?" So I think it's just like stopping that progression as soon as you can and kind of living your normal life. Something that I've actually also been adopting in this whole thing is I read somewhere that animals like cats, they shake off, right? Or like through something traumatic, they really shake. I think you see that when you wash your pets, so if I always try to do that, because supposed to help move that energy so it doesn't just sit there, right? So it's kind of like transmuting. That's what I'm passionate about this work, because I think for me, it's like one of those things I think that that's what happens to people. If you're not releasing the things that are happening to you, a lot of times what happens is then you're building up more and more, and that's where people exploit, right? And then they're going to like causes, or they like cat function anymore, right? Or they are feeling suicidal, right? But I think that sometimes a lot of the reasons is because it's like one hit after another after another, and the body is not getting any relief, right? So it's kind of like a bomb that eventually explodes, you know? So anyways, yeah, I think that's for me, that's why I'm passionate about this work. So do you, do you see a lot of people now or how has that been going for you? Yeah, I've seen like not a lot like there are only few people who are aware of this morality, and like people are getting aware slowly, but as they know getting know by this like there are people surrounding them who are doing this work, right? Because people don't know that they have stored traumas in their body, they don't even know until they feel like nothing is working now. What should I do, right? Then they come to this things like these things, yes, something can, something can be there, which is beyond the physical treatments or the other treatments which they're taking, right? Because there is not much awareness about these things online, right? So because it is like we are so busy, and we are so, you can say that we are trained to get that kind of feeling all the time that no, it's okay to be not okay, it's okay, it's okay. But when your body is saying that yeah, muscle tightness and breathing changes, breathing changes, and your posture is not a parietal, you're slouching your posture, and your energy is low all the time. It's not about your diet, sometimes it's not about your lifestyle, it's about your nervous system, which is making you like that way. You're not regulating it. Your nervous system is saying no, I can't do it more, because I'm doing my job from long time, and nervous system will say like yeah, I will stay at a fighter of light all the time, because you don't want to relax, right? So then it just stays all the time like that, and it becomes normal to everybody, and they don't seek any other help except taking medication and everything. Yeah. Yeah, I agree. I think there's this single of adulthood should be hard, and life should be hard, right? And I don't know, I don't agree with that. I think that life happens, right? I feel like I like to think that life happens for us, no matter what's happening, great. And I think that's why I say it's a matter of how do you go through it, right? But I totally agree, because I definitely will get into periods where I'm like function or depression, it's function or depression, especially when I was working through corporate America, like I literally could not get out of bed sometimes, I'll just be like working in bed. And to someone else, like even now, I think it's a habit, I think a lot of times, if something might be like, oh, like because I was, because I always have a lot of responsibility, like the only way I can function is if I'm literally supported by my bed, you know? So I can't like do much else, it's like I'm like, like you say, like I can't move, it's just like piling on top, but life still has to go on, right? And so I think for me, even after the session we did on Monday, like I feel like less like I want to be in bed, you know? Which is really good because like I was always feeling, I was like maybe it's my soul at Chakra, right? Like I was just always feeling like I like to other people, I have a lot of strengths, but then I'm like, I don't feel like I have a lot of strength. And I think it's that kind of like that energy that's just like fight of light, right? Like it's not really moving, it's just kind of holding on for dear life, you know? So yeah, like sometimes people sleep in the session and that's really strange, but people take it as a bad that why I can't sleep at home, I'll say, you know? But the thing is your body need to sleep sometimes because you are always on fight or flight and that go mood, that you don't give your body time to rest properly because when you sleep, you release so many hormones that makes you go in deep sleep and have that recovery for your body. And that's what your body needs. And the session helps you to go in that deep state, right? So it's all about your own body, we don't listen actually. So we just try to do as much we can do and we take more, we more of the body strength like we overwork and then we say, oh, we are greened and everything. And I don't get it from bad and everything because we overwork already, we are not giving time to rest. Yeah, no, for sure. Yeah, our body definitely needs to sleep. That's how it recharges, right? It's essentially nervous system, really, like you're saying, it's just knitting a reset. Nothing, if we think about life, there's nothing in this world that's like always on, like even God rested, right? So if it's like nature rest, right? Like everything rests. So I think a lot of times sometimes go through things and they're like, well, this isn't moving, this isn't working, this isn't working. And it's because literally the energy is saying, like, I need to recharge, we are dry. This is not the season, you know? Yeah, as like these days, I have seen like every, every single person is not sleeping, like they have sleeping issues, they can't sleep continuously. And I get like very shocked by listening to that and they get medication on that to sleep, you know? And that's more more bad than not sleeping. If you're not sleeping, there must be an issue that you need to fix, but not with the medication, with sleeping pills. It needs to be fixed with your flow of energy. And where it's stuck, right? Then you can sleep at night and then you can do your best next day. Yeah, that makes sense. You say that we're going to talk about how, okay, so like I say, typically we do demonstrations on this podcast, but the your podcast, like your, the way you do your work is more like you need video and everything. So, and it's a whole set up. So can you describe for the listeners what your process is like? Like if you're to describe, okay, this is like what I how this is done. 'Cause I think some people might think it's bigger than it is, right? And they don't realize how simple it is. - All right, like, if I'm a patient and I say, like I sign up and I say, "Aroen, can you please do some kind of energetics for me? Can you like walk us through the process?" - Yeah, for sure. It's like we make the environment, like the space we hold the space for a person, everything matters. When a person comes in, you can say that your session begins at that time when you enter the room. Because it's all about energy and it's when you enter the room, if you feel the tension in the side of the room, you will get more tense, right? So we make sure the environment and the fragrance and everything which will support your session. We make sure about that. And then a person is laying and then we assess the body where the trauma is by assessing the feet and the spine. And then we ask the patient what you are going through and what the issue which is bothering them and then with my own assessment, I access their points on the spine because the trauma and stress is mostly stored surrounding the thoracic and lumbar area, I'll just spine and then we try to find the resonance along the spine and then when we feel it, we tap into the excess point and try to release that with gentle inputs and gentle touches and rest the body guides along the session by releasing twitches and crammers and some people don't even move. Some people move a lot. There is not like specific pattern for the session. It's unique for everybody as I said earlier. But you need to be felt safe and you need to be felt like you are here at the moment and connected and everything will work for you by itself. Yeah. - I think in the session we use music, how does that help the music? - Yeah, music is a big component. Music is like, it helps you to connect and help you to make that moment if your body's feeling sad. Your musical, the frequency, music is also a energy and frequency, right? So it helps you to tap into that frequency and process that energy as sound healing, right? That is also part of, we also do collaboration with sound healing and breath work because it helps to release the trauma and process the trauma along the session. - Since I actually do a lot of sound healing, like I do it like on a daily basis honestly because I really respond to frequencies, like sound frequencies. So a lot of my healing is actually done through audio and a lot of times I can't, like it's coming for me to have something in my ear, I think my ears are actually tired of having something in them all the time. But I enter a lot of sound healing therapists. I think I'm gonna have a sound healing therapist healer soon this month, so that'll be good. But I understand what you're saying 'cause I think that's what you're also talking about with making a connection to the body, right? Like you have to be able to connect with yourself to get the best out of the session. - Yeah. - And that's something I really work on because we're so disconnected, right? And as someone that thinks a lot, I typically live in my mind, right? And so it's big for me to consistently work on having that connection with my body. Like for me sometimes it means like, you know, massaging my feet before I go to bed, right? Or my back or just like, but just kind of staying within my body, right? And that outside of it is super, super helpful. But I didn't realize how hard it is actually. So it's always working on. And I think you've heard of the, like you know how to be, when someone's a vada, like your airy. Yeah, I'm like that, I'm vada. So I have a lot of air. So I'm always trying to ground myself, you know? - Yeah. - My body. - That makes sense, yeah. - Yeah. And it was funny how you say that in the session about my heart because like I had told you right before the session, I just thought randomly that I needed to do this meditation of opening the heart, right? So I was like, I don't want to do it. But then I did it and literally, yeah, it was like right before, 'cause it finished before I show it and got on the call on Monday. So I just think it's interesting how like when you on the right path, there's a lot of synchronicities, right? Like there's one thing leads to another, to another, to another, you know? - Yeah. - As somebody said, the right people show up eventually, right? You will need the right things at right time. If you are synchronized or aligned and if you're looking at positive things, if you're regulated, you will see that things for sure. If you are not regulated, then even there in front of you, you will not. You will see them. - Yeah, and I think, yeah, even just like what you're saying, like it's important to take that, like being aligned is so important. One of the things for me has even been aligned action, right? 'Cause maybe if I hadn't gone into that meditation, I wouldn't have been able to connect the way I needed to. - Yeah, right. - So I think that, I don't know, like I'm big on listening to God and what I'm being told and my support team, you know, my spiritual team, I'm always like, oh, okay, this is what I'm being told to do. Let me do it, even though I don't know why, I'll just trust the process, you know? So I think something that keeps coming up for me, Arwin, is how do you connect the energy? Like when you were being trained, are you able to tell us, like how are you able to connect the energy? Like do you tell yourself, like, okay, let me, like how does that work? Like I think for a lot of people, it's hard to imagine what does it mean to connect energy with someone else. - Like when you made me, do you say, okay, do you like say, okay, I'm connecting, do you sit on intention? Like does your energy just connect? Like how does that work? - According to me, like what I think, it's a personal thing that, how it's different for everybody, how they connect, but I connect where I feel the most resonance. It's, I think a God gift also, that you, you could feel where the body is asking. If you are not patient and connected enough with your own self, you can't connect with another person either, right? Then if I have to connect with myself, I need to do my inner work and I need to become an patient enough that I can sense these things, right? It's all about, you can say, annoying, inner annoying, that yeah, something is here, intention, good intention also matters. - Can you connect with someone randomly, like on the street? I guess I'm just thinking like when I come to you for a session, do you say, do you ask to be connected to me or do you just connect to me? Like, you do what I'm saying, like, I can't connect with every. person randomly, if, if, like, until unless they want to connect with me, like, it's, it's about vibration. If you're in my vibration is like, at same and you want that vibration to match, then only otherwise I can't connect with you. It, it, it's about me. I don't know about other people, but I can't connect until unless you let me connect with yourself. Right? Like, I can feel it. I can see that something is going wrong or something is upset, like, something is wrong with you or like, I can see there's a child trauma, right? There's attention. Your body is in defense mechanism. I can feel that. I can sense that. But for me, the connection is different. That makes sense, right? It's level of awareness. You build it. Oh, like, gradually. Yeah, I think some things are harder to understand, but I think that's the thing about how is it called having gifts, right? That's why I'm vegan people tapping into their gifts because there are things I can do that other people may not understand, right? Do you have any other gifts, Erwin, or any of the things you do apart from spinal energetics? And I can't say that, but like, for me, being, like, living this life as a gift, like, hope, like, I can experience this life. And I think that's the biggest gift for me. And I can heal myself that I see as a gift. That's it, I think. Yeah. Do you train people in spinal energetics? No, like, I can, I don't have that certification, like, the mentor who taught me she is not giving that certification yet. She wants to keep it like natural, like, she don't want any alteration and the modality. So she is not giving the certification yet, but I think she will be given giving the teacher, instructor certification in future, but not now, not yet. When did you get trained? I trained in 2024. Okay. Yeah, in June. Yeah. When was this founded, you say, like, in the last 10 years? She founded this. She was practicing chiropractic. She was chiropractor right as told you and she was practicing that first. And then she did a couple of other things, like Buddhism. She has masters in Buddhism and everything. And then she started in 2021. Do this work? You say you're able to see, like, you can tell, like, all the energies in this chakra, do you use chakras, right? Like, you can. Yeah. But do you, are you able to like, know what happened? Like, do you see things or hear? No, no. Yeah. Just like you tapping into the energy systems. Oh, yeah. I'm like, I am accessing the points. I can feel the energy, but I can't tap into another person's energy, like, if that makes sense, like, I can feel it, but I can't go into it. Yeah. Like, you can't really know, like, what happened or didn't happen. Yeah. But you can feel like the energy isn't right there. Yeah. Yeah, because it's a tension pattern, which your body holds and it doesn't come up at the superficial level until unless you can feel it, right? When you know how they still believe in chakras being too much or too little, sorry, I don't get your question. Like, I read this book where it's said, like, sometimes like your hot chakra can be like too much or it can have too little energy. Like, it can have too much energy or too little energy. Hmm. According to me, my opinion will be like, it's about what you're holding. If you're holding a lot of love, I mean, like, you are a giver, then that means you have a lot of energy there. And if you're not a giver and you are all done, like, by pouring out, you will have less energy. This is my opinion about the chakras. Hmm. Right. See. So, okay. So like, like, even in the throat, if I have like, if you're not speaking enough, like, you're not describing enough, like, nobody's there to listen to you, you will feel on her not like nobody is listening to you and you're feeling that way and your throat will be like, have a lot of energy and it needs to be released. Okay. See what you're saying. So that's what you're saying. With me in my session, you say it was my heart and my throat. So there is a lot of energy there that was being held that needed to be released. Yeah. It can be put like both ways. If, like, example, I'd give you like, if nobody's there to listen to you or you feel unheard and you want to talk to somebody which is intentionally listening to you, not just sitting there and ignoring what you're saying, then, then you will need this modality to be like that you want to release it because you are not able to release it by yourself. You will build up, you will pile up a lot of emotions and then one day you will burst, you will cry and for crying, you need a trigger. Like, I can't cry before this, like, I have tried this modality before this modality. I never used to cry as much I cried in my first session. Like, it was like my deep, deep cry, you can see that. Hmm, okay. And so it will be like kind of involuntary. Like, it will come out by itself. You don't have to force anything. I'm trying to think, okay, you say, so you're there to release energy where it's not moving like, so in my heart, my throat, I see what you're saying. I think sometimes maybe I'm also like, maybe that's where a rakey comes in where they say like, oh, but you don't have energy in your soul, a chakra. Hmm. And so I think like, I wonder about that because I can understand where it's like, oh, there's too much energy here that needs to be released. But then there's also like, maybe there's not enough energy, you know? Hmm. Yeah, maybe you need to move your energy that what they say, what they mean, I mean, like, you need to move. If there is nothing, it's not possible that there's nothing. I want to correct myself. Like, there will be always something, but it will be less or too much. Yeah. So maybe if you release like the heart energy, then it can go into like the root or the solar, but your your your modalities just aren't able to see like where it needs to be released, right? Yeah, like we can see it, we can feel it, where the energy won't attention and where it needs to be moved. where it needs to be moved from. Yeah. So can you see where there's not enough energy? Yeah. As I said, your secrature car was long moving and it was resisting. So definitely over there. Oh, I see. You're saying, yeah, because I remember you saying I should move my hips if I want to. Yeah. Where you say it wasn't my secrature. So what do you typically do for that? I don't do it anything. I just guide the body. I guide your body to move the energy towards it needs. Like I was moving the energy from heart chakra to the secrature. Oh, I see what you're saying. So there is a flow in your body. Okay. So the energy is getting stuck anywhere. It's like in motion, right? Yeah. No, that makes sense. And I think I have a lot of kind of upper energy. So I'm always trying to, that's why I say that I try to ground. Do you know other things that you can do to balance out your secrature? Oh, sorry, I didn't get that. Sorry. What part for moving the flow of energy? Is there other things that we can do to move that energy? Yeah, there are somatic exercises and yoga and other hip mobility exercises. You can do that to move the energy. Yeah, I see. How does being Indian affect your practice? Or how does it inform your practice? It's really challenging to be honest, because nobody will understand you why you are doing this and how you get into this. Oh, like for me, it's really challenging. And, but as I'm doing my work, I'm satisfied what I'm doing. I love what I do. So people are like, people are taking my bad energy, you know? You radiate the energy. If I am spreading good energy, they will sense it. And as I told, as I said earlier, that there is a difference between genuine and fake things, right? And if you are genuine, a good thought, your energy will be high than the people who are fake. And I think that helps me to spread this awareness about this modality and work with this modality. Because I am definitely feel better as a total version. Somebody told me once that you don't have to be a better version of yourself. You just have to be a total version first, right? So I am trying to get at that point being a total version of myself. And people can see that. And they appreciate what I'm doing. Because there is nobody who is doing this. And in that Indian culture, you can say, in a thantic way. Yeah. What? What's the lesson you see? Like people are not doing in a thantic way. There are so many fake or not-genre people who are misguiding people. Yeah, go ahead. Yeah. That's all I think. People are misguided more than they are guided. Yeah, I think that's surprising because I feel like the chakras come from the Indian culture, right? Yeah. It's a Asian Indian thing. It's just like that they don't understand the spino-energetics is what you're saying. Actually, the Indian culture, they have very deep roots. You can say this way, this kind of work. But they don't trust, they don't go deep into their body to know more. They are relying upon Western things. And the Western people are going more into this stuff, the Indian Asian Vedic things. Right? It's opposite now. Go ahead. Yeah. So that's why there's like so much gap. Yes. Honestly, yeah. When I was writing yesterday, I have a paper to write about. I live in spiritual psychologists, I think that's what I would want to be known as. There's a lot of ancient practices that are becoming a thing. What's happening is that East wants the West, right? Because whatever the East has is not enough, right? Whatever the West has is not enough. And so how do we come back to just being whole, right? Being whole means that it's not just one thing or two things, right? Like me saying I love kind of energetics doesn't mean that maybe tomorrow I may need to. I may need some medication, right? But I think that is a kind of equal on the same, right? It's just what's available to you. How fast do you want it to work? Right? Or just very variables, right? But I agree with you that there's a lot of it. So it's kind of like how someone might be like, hey, I need to, let me see a good example. Like I'm having headaches, right? And then it's like, okay, well in Indian culture, you need to eat this and this and this, right? And that's great. But then maybe there's a chakra that's also needing energy moved, right? And so can you maybe do both? I think there's just like we're losing the wholfulness, right? Or like one thing, like there are multiple answers in the world, right? That's why we're all created with different gifts. And there's so many herbs and there's so many plant medicine. Yeah. You say what? There's so many plant medicine? Yeah, but there's so many avenues, right? And so I agree with you, like there's that disconnect, you know? And as someone who's been in the healthcare, in healthcare for a long time, I just mean, yeah, like obviously, like let me say, if I break my leg tomorrow, I obviously need to go to the doctor, right? Like moving energy may not be the answer. Because actually, like there's like duality in everything. Like if I have any injury, like a cut on my body, your body will start healing right away for to heal that cut. But the thing is, if you want it to faster, then you will need a medication. And we are always in rush and we don't want to feel that pain. We don't want to process that emotions, which came through the cut. So that's why we seek outer appointments and everything from the outer world to heal that. Instead of just healing by itself, as you said, if we break the bone, it will heal by itself. But because we have the cells in our body, which will heal it. But we don't know how it's broken. If it's broken and very bad, we are not. And we can't actually do diagnosed if the fragments of the bone is far apart that they can heal by itself or not. We need assistance to diagnose, to assess how the treatment plan will go or everything. But if we will say like, no, our body can't heal by itself, these things that can also be wrong for me. But we need help for sure. But we take disadvantage sometimes like we take it too much of medication or we take, we rely on other things too much that we forget that. Yes, our body can heal by itself too, right? I think, yeah, I mean I think there's this thing of, there are ways we were born, like there's ancient history for a reason, right? That's how people before I survived, there are ways that we can heal our bodies, right? What are medicine comes into supplement, not to replace? And the problem is completely replacing, right? And then it's kind of the same thing if I only operate from my upper body and not my lower body, right? I'm missing something, right? But if I'm only operating from my lower body and not my upper body, it's like, how can we become whole, right? How can we use what we have? And like you said, yes, my body, like, because there are also fractures that heal them on them, they're on very fast, right? But to your point, there's also like, okay, if you want to heal faster, we're slower, right? Like what does that look like? But I think at the end of the day, there's a lot of people who are healed in a lot of ways, but not in spirit too, right? Yeah. So I think for me that's where the spiritual work is important because like you said, you know, you can have the money, you can have the friends, you can have all these things, but your spirit isn't right. And so you're in, like you have these things, but they're not bringing your peace because the way the way the energy is moving isn't right, you know? So maybe it's more problems, even though it's more money, or you know, just like different things, right? So I think it's like for me, it's just I'm interested. You know how they always say to eat a healthy diet? Like you need to have all the colors, right? I always hope like how can I bring all the colors of the world together and be whole, you know? Yeah, yeah, because even if I heal my emotions, but maybe like, I don't know, I have a wound, that's a problem, right? Like, there's, they need to heal the one two and heal my emotions and heal different things, you know? Yeah. But I love what you said earlier because I definitely feel like, yeah, you, I love that you're able to, that you, we don't need more, we didn't, don't need more of something outside. We need to be more of ourselves, right? Like how, as close as possible can we get to who we really are, right? Outside of all the distractions. Yeah. Do you, you say you don't do any of the modalities? Just pretty much physical therapy, right? And then see, yeah. Yeah. These two things only. Yeah. And then, so do you think, when you think of Raky, do you think Raky gives us energy or do you think it also just moves the energy? Because I think you believe that we just have a setting energy, we just, we just need to use it correctly, right? Or do you think we can also supplement our energy? What is your belief there? Every modality have their own vape method and like, some people respond to different modality and some people don't, right? So it's, it's the important thing in each modality, I see, is the intention and method. These two things are important to look upon that what you want. And I don't want to comment on Raky that what you want to do, because I'm not that person that I can comment on any other modality, because it's not good. It feels just breading falls are any bad information out there. But there's something different than the spine and the chatty for sure in Raky, it's a little bit different. And by it in spinal and energetics, we don't like put or take out any energy from the person. Yeah, we just assess and access the points where the attention is needed. And then we just guide the body to move its energy where it's needed. The nervous system, do whatever it needs to be done in the body. We just guide, we tell the body, yeah, you need to go there like by giving them gentle inputs and directions as being practitioners. We don't give them outer force or energy. Yeah, you just help them use what they already have, right? Yes, you have you was your first session on your own like what did you do remotely or was it in person like the one you got? Oh, sorry, I didn't get the question. When you first had spinal energetics done on you, was it done on your remotely or was it or was it done in person? And I had I had online. My first session was online and then the second was in person at my course, like when I did my course in Toronto. Okay, with Dr Sarah Jane. Yeah, it was a group was spinal, like group spinal energetics session. So it was good, it was intense. Yeah, because you saved yours, you cried a lot. Yeah, a lot of emotions came up and because I don't do any other practices, then my body was so resistant to everything, but that modality went inside me and it did a lot of work. I see what you're saying. Well, it's not. Do you know what are people doing this work? Yeah, there are a couple like in my area in Calgary and they're everywhere actually. Yeah. Yeah, it's getting more seen by everybody now. So getting attention and it's basically it's for everybody, but the people who can connect with themselves and they believe in this stuff, that people only can get that benefit. I know for potential of the smithality is taken by that people only, but everybody needs it. I think everybody needs it, but not everybody understands yet, right? Yeah. So if somebody want to get deep into their body, they want to listen what the body is saying and what their body have their potential and this is the thing what they can seek for. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, it's so nice having you. I'm so thankful you decided to do this with me. I love working with you because you're so grounded. I think I hope you don't mind me saying this. I think we had talked about like, oh, what if we have like all-quard poses, you know, when we're recording? I love people who are like operate at a slower pace because I think that's how the world is supposed to be, right? You're right. Yeah. I just love talk to you too. Like because there are so many people who are just showing off what they have and blah, blah, blah. But the most important thing is being authentic and what I liked about you and you are spreading good knowledge out there and what I really appreciate about you and people need it because there is AI out there but still there, people need to know the true experience what they're having, right? Because we are the human beings which we only can have experiences and only we can discuss and we can tell others and that's the important because if I want to know somebody else's experience, I'm happy. I'm so happy to know what the experience, well, the session and through other modalities, you know, especially with the energy and spirituality and I'm very much curious about these things. But only authentic people will tell you, right? You say what? Only authentic people will tell you their true experience. Genuine. You say only genuine people? Yeah. Only genuine, authentic people. Yeah. No, I think we had cut out a little bit, but that's okay. I think for me, yeah, I think, you know, this work is so new to all of us, right? In a way, I imagine that maybe it was being done anciently, but we didn't know who knows, right? But I just think it's really important to put it out there because there are so many people who are struggling, right? And I think there's no need to struggle because there's always going to be, you know, something, great, but it doesn't need to be, we don't need to drown, right? Like we need to thrive and live good lives, right? Healthy lives and lives that we can be proud of, you know? So, yeah, I'm super appreciative that, you know, you felt like this was your calling and you followed through with it. And I hope, you know, you can operate in that gift for as long as possible and it becomes like your main thing or your only thing, you know, unless you want to do other things of course, but I'm just really in that because I know there's not like I haven't seen none, a lot of people who do Spina and I judge it. I think it's also because sometimes we pour hide because our people are going to believe them or it's too much or I'm trying to convince other people in a way too. So, and I also think sometimes things like these are gifts for those who choose to believe, you know what I mean? You're right, yeah. Because if you're just skeptical about everything then that's kind of your punishment too, right? You don't get the good that comes with keeping your heart open, right? So, yeah, at all times you have to know that we should heal and have better discernment, but also keep our hearts open if we feel genuine, we're led to do something, you know? If you were to say like whenever people come on this podcast they leave last words. What would you, what would, if you had a message for the world, what would it be? Where can people, like you have a website, right? Because I'm going to reach out to you so you can tell me if people want to grow, how they can grow, right? Yeah, I have a website and it is I win Spinalenergetics.com and my Instagram handle is with same name. I win Spinalenergetics and and the message you were saying what I want to tell everybody is that your body have so much potential which we don't know yet, like we can experience a lot of things and in this lifetime, but we are lacking the modalities and we are not seeking help to feel that potential or just get that all, but if you really want to dig deeper into your body then just this is the time. Don't just like delay anymore because we don't know when life will be end, like it's a dream that you can do anything with this body and experience a lot of things and that's I think I want to say to everybody. Yeah, yeah, no, I appreciate that. I think honestly, I love that you say that because that's the lesson I'm learning right now, like I say, I have just come out of a season of like thinking like, "Oh, if I buy this oil, if I do this candor, if I do this, right?" And so in this season, I'm also learning, like yeah, those things are good, but they are to help me remember the power of me, right? Like those, you know, it's like a car, it doesn't make a person that is better or less, right? It's like I'm aesthetic, you know what I mean? It's kind of like I'm still pretty, I'm pretty, I can wear earrings, right? To maybe like to enhance my ears or show off my beauty more, but I'm still the original, right? I'm like, I hold the energy, you see what I'm saying? Yeah, you need to become comfortable and love yourself as it is first, and then enjoy viewing everything like, applying other things on your body. Definitely, you need to appreciate what God has given you and you can decorate this body, but the thing is, until unless you will not love your original form, you will not love other things too, because on the base, on the foundation level, you're not happy. Yeah, for sure, yes, no, I think that's a super-prophal message because I think we live in a very commercial world that's really nice to do this and do this and do that, and I think it's like, but do I not have strength? Am I not enough, right? I think it's a thing of like, I'm not enough, I'm gonna say do this, I'm not enough, because I have this and it's like, like, you're enough, right? How can you use what you have, you know, what your energy is at? Just one last question before you go, are you really just Arwen? Um, I can say like, I followed Sick Religion and I really respect Arwen Religion, that I'm more like spiritual person, but my religion helped me to like, attain and reach at this point, but being sick is a path for me to like, get at this point. I am sick, like, yeah, I'm sick Indian sick, yeah, like Punjab, I'm from Punjab, so there are sick religion over there, so I, I belong to that. I see, okay, so you're more spiritual now, but you appreciate how you're religion let you hear in its own way. Yeah, it's a path way to go, attain that spirituality for me, yeah, because I followed my holy book, like, my sick religion have a holy book and that have brought my spectrum like my thinking, you know, so it helped me a lot. Yeah, I see, like you've kept moving up in your beliefs, right? Yeah, as your foundation. Yeah, it's about oneness, not about any specific thing, so what I really believe in that is it's all about oneness, so it's not like religion is made by like people, like it's more about colonizing and everything, but being spiritual, I respect everybody and get from where I can get anything, I get, get take it and respect it, yeah. Yeah, I hear what I say. Well, this was so good. I only ask because I think sometimes it's hard on my journey, right? Like, no, like people are always trying to figure out like, what's this and what's that, you know, and so I like for people to know that it's okay, you know, but not to be afraid when they're, I guess, expounding their horizons to, right? Yeah, like anything you can still be thankful, right? Because it still makes who you are. in one way or another. Yeah, you're right. That's why I said like it really helped me to get here. Like because I was following my religion from my childhood. So it brought into your spot from it. It shows the path of what is good and what is right. It is like that for me. Yeah, no, thank you so much. It's been so good talking to you. I really appreciate it. And I'll reach out to you so I can get all your information and put it in the podcast. I will send that to you. Yeah, okay. Thank you so much for having me and talking and spreading your wisdom. And I really appreciate and loved talking to you. No, for sure. Same.
