He’s declaring MARTIAL LAW

Donald Trump is currently more terrified than he's ever been throughout any point in his political career and why wouldn't he be? His poll numbers lower than they've ever been with more Republicans in the media, in Congress, on the campaign trail abandoning him and humiliating him. So Donald Trump is trying to take things into his own hands. Donald Trump is trying to stop our democracy right now. Donald Trump is considering martial law. This is not some phony baloney, "Oh, the libs are overreacting. Why does the left always freak out?" You're pretending that Donald Trump wants to be a dictator. He has said it. On several occasions, the president of the United States has made clear that he really likes the idea of some conflict making it too difficult to vote. Donald Trump has made it clear he loves the idea of being a dictator. Donald Trump has made it clear he loves the idea of stopping you from voting. So why? Why would Donald Trump not try his best when he knows he is at his worst? Well, that is the reporting we are getting right now from the Atlantic. I want to dive into this reporting. Jake Tapper broke it on CNN. I want to get into it all. I want to hear these clips. I want to hear this reporting. We have so much to cover. But just 40 days left until election day, there is growing concern among experts about what President Trump might do as he continues to push baseless election fraud claims. And as the Republican Party appears headed toward losses in the midterm elections, Democrats right now are enjoying an eight-point lead over the GOP and the latest generic battle for control of the House. A new report from the Atlantic magazine details how a slew of outside advisors to President Trump are urging him to take control of federal elections this November. A key player in the scheme according to the Atlantic is an attorney named Peter Tickton. He is a longtime friend of Trump. They went to military school together as teenagers. Tickton told the Atlantic magazine that Trump could decide to declare martial law on or around election day. Tickton is also the attorney for convicted election denier Tina Peters at a Colorado. Her sentence was commuted by Colorado Governor Jared Pulse. Soon after her sentence was time in prison was commuted, she met with President Trump at the White House. This is what Peter said about that meeting. There is a plan yesterday when I was with the president he talked to and I can't get into the plan. Understood. He's done. But we talked, you know, he basically said to his lead counsel to do what I was asking. There is a plan says Tina Peters and it's not just the figures circling the president saying this out loud, President Trump himself is publicly called for greater federal control of elections. This is what he told his former deputy FBI director Dan Bungino on his podcast in February. The Republicans should say we want to take over. We should take over the voting, the voting in at least many 15 places. The Republicans ought to nationalize the voting. And then there's Trump's response back in August to Radio host Wayne Allen Root suggestion that he should declare a national security emergency to mandate his preferred changes to the elections. You have the right to declare a national security emergency for elections. Let me give the teacher a set of up and okay, I'll leave it at that. He said, let me just say the stranger things have happened. Okay, I'll leave it at that. During the Republican Convention this month, Trump sarcastically asked his supporters to make this pledge. When asked for comment by the Atlantic, the White House said that figures such as Tickden and Peters and Wayne Allen Root play no role in election policy at the White House. That's good to know. But then again, neither did discredited mega attorney Sidney Powell and General Michael Flynn, both being boosters of the 2020 election lie, they were not official election advisors. And yet you will recall in December 2020, in the midst of various Trump and Trump allies plots to overturn the free and fair election of 2020, Powell and Flynn told the president he should seize voting machines in key states, a move then Attorney General Bill Barr told the president he could not do. So that happened in 2020. The only reason I bring it up is because in 2026, January of this year, President Trump told the New York Times that he regrets not having seized the machines. I should have, he said. Now the president continues to make public comments and take active steps to push more election fraud claims, not just about 2020, but 2022 and 2024 and 2026, claims that could theoretically be used by the president to take extraordinary actions. In February, the office of the director of national intelligence under then director Tulsi Gabbard said it had obtained electronic voting machines seized from Puerto Rico to look for, quote, "security vulnerabilities" in July. The FBI assigned analysts to examine ballots and election material seized from Fulton County, Georgia, right near Atlanta. Of course today, no evidence of large-scale vote rigging or foreign interference has been found as a result of any of these measures. So the big question we continue to ask, what is the president planning? We do not know, but we will keep watching and keep you up to date whether from inside the White House or outside. This is terrifying reporting and it's why we cannot engage with these fascists in any form. The meeting between hot-kinged Jeffries and Jared Kushner certainly is a disgrace because Kushner is a genocidal maniac who needs legitimacy that he doesn't have as a non-government official to continue to make money off the Gulf states so that in and of itself makes it a disgrace but also because they didn't talk about anything that gave Jeffries more leverage. What leverage has he gotten and his entire time in the minority? What has been done to make sure that democracy is protected, that our voting rights are protected? They've just been rolled back. So if you're going to go have a meeting with the fascist, if you're going to legitimize the fascist, why aren't you not getting anything out of it? That has been the question I have consistently had for all the Democrats who want to rail against Zoran Mamdani in defense of Jeffries or in defense of anyone who capitulates to the conservative movement. Zoran Mamdani got something out of his meeting with Donald Trump. This may seem off topic, but it's not. He got protections for New Yorkers. He got protections for temporary protected status. Zoran is getting federal grants for housing in transit. What did Jeffries get? What are the leaders of our Congress doing right now to make sure that we win back the Congress? Because it seems like nothing. This as much as anything is a testament to the fact that Donald Trump knows that his administration is over and the clock is ticking on his life. Like that really if we get down to brass tax is what this is about. Donald Trump is dying and we're waiting for that big beautiful obituary every single day and it seems like we're getting closer as he pulls out more and more crazy back shit ideas about how to protect his power. Let's also make clear that this is the reason that Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth have been putting on their stunts all the time. Why Hegseth and Trump remember last year at Quantico, they gave that big speech in front of all the generals, all the top military brass, when Hegseth was talking about no more beardos or weirdos, he's probably drunk. It's because Donald Trump wants you to think that the government is his. Donald Trump wants you to think that Pete Hegseth gets to tell the military to do whatever they want, to do whatever he wants, that the illegal orders that Mark Kelly and the rest of the veteran Democrats are talking about, yeah, you can just commit those, it's fine. Follow those illegal orders, you have to, you listen to Hegseth, that is not true. And this is what the alarm should be sounded on right now. Anyone who is engaging with these people, like they are not trying to steal our democracy, is the enemy. Anyone who is not getting concessions out of these people, that is the enemy. Again, Zoran took on the fascist, and I guess this is still like sticking with me and I'm still angry about this, because the response to Mayor Mamdani was wholly ridiculous. He stopped Donald Trump's fascist invasion of ICE agents in New York. Why are you more upset with him, centrist Democrats, who by the way just want to slander Mayor Mamdani because he's a democratic socialist, and he's covering a lot better than the centrist are, who can't get shit done and always lose to Republicans. Why are you more upset with him than you are with Jeffries? Why is our leadership not doing anything? Why did they continue to call themselves leadership? What are we doing to make sure that Donald Trump does not decide he's sending the military into the streets? Because he's already done a test run. He's already done it. This is absurd. This is absurd and the fact that it is not a hair on fire, five alarm fire, we all need to be talking about this story just goes to show how still distracted the media is. I'm just a little annoyed. I'm a little more than a little annoyed that after CNN and MSNOW and Politico kicked out of the White House and came back, although it's still kind of a back and forth, the questions weren't immediately about election security. The questions weren't immediately about Donald Trump dying soon. He's crumbling health. The reason they don't want video of him falling asleep in the Oval Office. We know what he's after. Do you think a crackdown on the first amendment means, "All right, I think I'm done attacking the Constitution." No, he's going for the whole thing. What really pissed me off most about that whole story was when Fox said there were joining and Solidarity was CNN and MS now in Politico joining in Solidarity Solidarity. that already you created this whole fucking mess. What are you talking about? You've propped up the guy for 10 years plus. You're justifying everything that he does. You know, this is the reason that I said it would be a horrible mistake for the press to protest Trump into ignore him. And to take the lesson from this to be that yes, I know he loves attention, I know he's a narcissist, but just to say, well, we're gonna stop talking about Trump. We're gonna ignore Trump. Why that would be such a fatal mistake is you know who loves ignoring Trump at opportune times, Fox. When he's really losing his mind in a speech, they cut away. Did they talk about Donald Trump, ranting and raving about election fraud, all of his election fraud lies, remember the couple weeks ago? The next morning, Fox and friends, zero mentions. Yeah, Maria Barteromo, ratted on Fox to the White House and why she got fired, but why did they have zero mentions aside from the fact that they didn't wanna get sued by dominion again? It's because they knew Trump looked batshit crazy and then it hurts him and their project is to help him. So Fox was an in solidarity. They were trying to help out this administration by keeping quiet. So the point that I'm trying to make is it is time to be hair on fire about this stuff. It is time to be freaking out about this stuff. We are only a few weeks out from election day. People I believe are already voting. Yeah, they are, already voting around the country. He's gonna try to stand in the way. He is absolutely going to try and stand in the way. He already is. The attacks on mail-in voting. Donald Trump, of course, wants to delegitimize our elections. And as I've said for a long, long time, Donald Trump doesn't wanna win the midterms. He wants to steal them. It's why he's okay with Republicans losing. Also, 'cause he's just a fat fuck and he's lazy and he doesn't wanna go campaign. But why Donald Trump is okay with Republicans losing is because he'd rather try to steal the election. Do you think the man is building a military bunker, a military bunker with medical facilities because he thinks it's cute? No. No. It's because Donald Trump wants his hiding space. Donald Trump wants his little game plan space. That is what he is after. This reporting is insanity, but it is unsurprising and it's a problem that it's unsurprising because it's a problem that we haven't put more bulwarks in place to stand in the way of whatever this could be. And it also speaks to the loons, the fucking wackos, the crazy people who are around Donald Trump right now. The world that he's trying to create around him. There's alternate reality that Donald Trump desperately needs to not lose his mind. And it's why we have to be ready, prepared, and aggressive to take on the corruption and the criminality of this administration because I can promise you, after he suffers a brutal loss, he is not going to lay down and take it. There needs to be plans in place for how we are going to hold these people accountable, how we are going to stop them, how we are going to lock them up. 'Cause they're not gonna go quietly. He's not gonna go quietly. Blown out in the midterms in 2018, lost to Joe Biden in 2020. What happened after that? Has he ever been particularly nice about election losses?
