Ladies and gentlemen boys and girls welcome all back to another episode of the weekly conversations podcast and today I'm happy to discuss Kill Bill Volume 2. I did a video about Kill Bill Volume 1 and every time I think about it I could have made Kill Bill Volume 1 a lot better than it had come out and now I'm doing Kill Bill 2 so hopefully I can redeem myself in that department. Let's get straight to it. This film was released in 2004 it's an R8 movie. The length of this film is 2070 minutes and has 8 stars out of 10 on IMDB with 872 thousand reviews a wish list ad of 1.2 million users at tomato rotten tomato score of 84 on tomato meter and an 89% on popcorn meter with a metric critic score of a Meta score of universal acclaim with 83 out of 100 and it was given a metric critic must see with the user score of universal acclaim of 8.2 out of 10 and the beginning of this film starts with where we left off from the first movie where the bride is done on the floor begging pleading doing everything she possibly can to not get murdered by Bill then it cuts to her driving in a car going away trying to get revenge on those that did her wrong and throughout her journey you get to see her which you got married her sitting in the church Samuel L Jackson makes him parents then she walks out of the church to take a bit of fresh out so she's bill playing the food we will talk to each other a bit of a moment and Bill enters the church wanting to support the bride as she's about to get married and right as this is happening you know the ceremony is beginning she's about to get married starting your life everything's gonna go well for her they're crazy what the crazy 88 or forgot the name of that the massive group of people but either way Bill's crazy group of assassins have arrived to the church to now assassinate the bride she'll kill her do what must happen just so she can go away and next thing you will see in this film is Bill has come to see his brother they haven't conversation going to discuss what's happened he has the bright sword that's made by Teori Hansa and I think I've written the name but he's talking to Bill about it it's you know a lot of money and them saying you know that it Teori Hansa hasn't made the sword in many many years and it's so weird to see this sword being made by him and it's all just for the bride and it cuts now to the club wow you know Bill's going into the club to do his thing you can see the car the white car from what is it I got the name oh my god what is the name of the film Jackie Brown I don't know what else but they made a reference he enters the club talks the bars and they go to the back he still is white hat talking to his boss and yeah he takes off his hat because his boss I told him even though that's the he crossed them off told him it's no longer working in his club nothing else takes up his hat and defeat we then have a scene where Bill's brother is now walking into Australia I think down but I see it's about to do this he gets the sensation on someone's around someone's locking in the shadows but he doesn't quite know exactly who or what is the lucky back you know someone or something there so the bride then comes out from underneath the trailer she has her sword she's ready to assassinate this man what do you know opens the door he shoots her in the chest she flies I don't even know how many meters or how many feet back but a lot and that's really she's on the floor Bill calls his friend or brother to tell him what's happened they then take her to the graveyard to bury her in the ground the bride is about to get pepper sprayed in the eye she doesn't stop complaining or whatever the hell she's about to do to get herself in trouble so she stays quiet doesn't get pepper sprayed in the eye and next thing you know she's getting her body in the coffin they're both Bill's brother and his friend are just hammering this wooden grave to bury the bride in once that's done they put her in the ground stop putting all the soil back in and then we get like a flashback of the bride's journey when she met forgot the name but we'll just I'll just call them mentor you know the mentor so Bill goes up sees the man comes down with his face all build a blood him getting a bit of a bruising and everything because you know the master doesn't quite like him very much he hates him to his scar because of what Bill did to him so once Bill drives away the bride's coming up he's the master for the first time he's challenging her to grab a sword and fighting him and as she's doing this the master's just overpowered to OP for the swimming skill anything she tries he does it 10 times better she tries to soar them he stands on the sword she tries to attack him he puts his hand grabs hers grab I know he puts his hand around her wrist puts it around her back and tells us stop doing this you know that good you've got to practice and as she keeps retaliating she keeps pushing and pushing and pushing and pushing eventually eventually until she gives throws her hands up in the air and says okay fine she's on the floor weeping crying in agonizing pain right after this we get to see this montage of salts of the bride and the master training the master stomach look you have to put your fist through this wooden board and she's practicing she's understanding and as she's doing this the skin from her knuckles is just ripping and it's bleeding and it's all starting and she's then carrying a stick with two buckets full of water on her shoulders to get more strength and sweating out of breath and she's dying of sweat climbing up her stairs having to push herself to the edge and she's just mastering as you can see her skills of the hand movements the sharp skills the hand dichoordination all the necessities for her to get the precise moves you can also see a montage of her and the master with a white I mean a red background and them being in black just doing their poses and moves. It then cuts back to her being in the grave. Her torture is on, she's getting her boots off, cuts. She has a knife, cuts the rope off her hands and starts to do the moves. The exact move of having her hatch straight and then immediately punch you get with a close fist to get the wood to break and eventually she gets that wood to eventually break. She's a free woman and she's fearless and I mean the dirt oldest rushes into her face. I mean we don't get to see if it's powerful, fully full, who knows? We just see her climbing up from the soil, a few feet above ground. She's neatly there and we see the bottom picture of her coming out of the grave all full of dirt, her cold, the drenched, everything's scrap. Then she's walking to this diner, opens the door and she's just all full of dirt and her face is all drenched, her cold are all horrible, her hands looking all messed up and she just says to the man, can't breathe, half a cup of water, and runs like, sure, with a confused face. Then it transitions over to lady with the black hard patch, driving in her car, going down to see Bill because I mean Bill's brother, she's heard that he has the sword just coming down to get it and he said I need one million dollars so she comes, well this is your case full of money and it's exactly one million dollars. She arrives, gives them the money and as she's doing this, we see the bride walking in the desert, walking through these mountains and above this massive cliff. We then see eye patch, black eye patch lady and Bill's brother's home. She hands him the suitcase, they both talking, she's on the lounge chair, he's on his couch, they just have a conversation for a bit, so there's a bunch of other stuff. Then Bill, Bill's brother goes to the kitchen, unzips the bread suitcase, opens it up, very happy takes a bit of money out and then she ramps. There's the deadly biker venomous snake. So as the snake comes, starts attacking Bill's brother, the bike eye patch lady starts to whip out her notebook and starts to read what is going to be happening to Bill's brother. I see it's been attacked and poisoned by this venomous snake. After Bill's brother is on the floor dead, she whips up her phone, she calls Bill, Bill, "Thumbna job, I've called your brother, I'm coming now with the sword, be out in a few minutes." And then for some really odd reason, it just cuts bright. In the classroom, you hear her name for the first time, Be a Tricks, Kiddell, is what you hear for the very first time. And it's just her in ponytail, raises her hand in a classroom full of children, which I remember when watching it for the first time, it was the other thing I had ever seen, because it was out of nowhere, it just randomly. The teacher is saying a bunch of preschoolers names, and then he just hears Be a Tricks, Kiddell. And then the camera just whips into the bride and you're like, "Wait, that's a name." And it's just her in a ponytail, her in a ponytail and everything, it's just raising her hand saying, "Oh, me, it was the other thing I had ever witnessed in my entire life." Then we then go back to Bill's brother's trailer. The black eye patch lady opens the door, suitcase and hand, the son, her other hand, she's getting out ready to leave. What do we see? The bride's legs literally flying like an arrow into the woman's chest, flinged back, hits the wall, and then the two women are fighting. Both of them are putting the other ones on the other ones, chest, flushing them back, they fly, the black eye patch lady is attacking the bride with her own sword, the bride blocks it with a wooden chair, then the black eye patch lady gets all of Bill's brothers spent in the red can just throwing in her face. The next thing you know, like eye patch lady is now challenging, Beatrix, here a sword bite. So Beatrix of course walks into Bill's room, sees his sword, which is to my brother, but and the only man I ever loved, Bill, she grabs the sword, bites the lady with the black eye patch, she's already the lady with the eye patch all energized ready to kill the bride to put Beatrix in her place. What happens, the bride and the black eye patch lady have an intense sword bite, a little bit round and the next thing you know, Beatrix grabs her eye, literally shows it to her, drops it on the floor, you can see the eye puts it on top of that, squishes it like it was a bug. Of course we all know that the black eye patch lady is now on the floor screaming, breaking the whip, what is it? The mirror, she's hitting, she's like on the sink she folds over, she's screaming and everything, the bride, being Beatrix grabs her sword, exits Bill's brothers trail, and we then have a cut to these hills, these mountains, the sun rising, a bunch of like palm trees, grass and everything, and then the brides just driving the blue vehicle down this road. Who does she go to visit? Bill's stepfather, Esteban, theamp, and we all know how this scene goes about, him and Beatrix have a conversation, he's asking him to marry Bill, why do I see him? Everything, I'm pretty sure he does, I'll put her in a way with the directions of various, and then once she knows, she goes back to her car, she's talking to camera, she's saying, you know, I'm now going to kill Bill, I will have my revenge, he will seek the name of what he has done, and what we got to, Beatrix entering Bill's home with her sword, literally around her chest, her gun being a pistol, and she sees her daughter for the first time, and she's just shocked, she thought the baby was dead, the baby didn't make up, wasn't alive, nothing of the sorts, but thankfully she gets to hold her baby, hugged the baby, loves the baby, and she takes the doctor home, points it to bed, they watch her found the daughter's sleep, she leaves, goes to the loving girl, and her and Bill have some conversations, he then points until the serum of truth asking for what's happened, everything, and then you see, Brian's walking away with her daughter, that was not a damn assidote, but you know, the Brian's walking, talking with Bill, then they have flashback of when she was pretty much, discussing about how she got pregnant. She was in her bathroom took a pregnant teacher. She waits for five minutes. She's not it's pregnant. She's unlocking the door. It's this Asian lady with a bastard. She drops the pregnant tea test as one second. Next thing you know, there's bullet holes. There's like a bullet hole from a shotgun in the door. Beatrix quickly hides under the bed and not under the bed but like beside the bed, she grabs a pistol and starts wanting to get there right away to the Asian woman who's holding a shotgun. She tries to shoot her, misses, hits the door and then after that she sees the Beatrix is pregnant, closes the door and it's now cutting back to Beatrix and Bill fighting. Having an intense, not an extremely intense fight but it was just an interesting house. She managed to like catch herself with the chair and everything. She does the palm of the heart. Then she carries her daughter out because of some reason I put it in the wrong place. The picture. Then she's in her bathroom crying, holding stuffed animal inside her mouth, some sort of surprise, opens the door her daughter's watching a show. They sit together and that is the end of Bill going to. The legend of my boy and girls, I hope you enjoyed today's topic of conversation.
