Greg Fitzsimmons & Adam Carolla Uncover Hollywood’s Spiciest Celebrity Scandals

"Great Fit Simmons" delivers a lively, humorous, and insightful conversation blending personal anecdotes with broader cultural reflections. The episode opens with a comedic moment at an Italian restaurant where a mistaken order of "room for cream" leads to a surprising and joyful outburst. This sets the tone for a deeper exploration of how cultural attitudes shift over time—like the transformation of Audi from a joke to a respected brand or Japanese cars from mocked to celebrated. The discussion extends to historical examples such as the DeLorean, highlighting the failure of early ventures and the idea that people should be allowed to earn and contribute rather than be punished. It then shifts to nostalgic memories of high school "stars," like Rhett Winchel and Christopher Atkins, illustrating how youth culture shaped early celebrity narratives. A pivotal segment details the real-life story of Jane Kennedy, a prominent Black female sports host in the 1970s, whose career was allegedly ruined by a leaked sex tape with her husband, Leon Isaac Kennedy. Despite the tape being scrubbed, the incident caused immense personal and professional damage. The episode underscores how privacy is fragile, especially in the pre-internet era, where tapes were shared physically and rumors spread rapidly. It also critiques the modern media landscape, where leaked content can destroy careers and where platforms aggressively scrub such material. Ultimately, the conversation reflects on how perceptions of individuals—especially in marginalized communities—are deeply influenced by private moments, whether real or rumored, and how these moments can reshape public memory and personal identity.

Columbus, Ohio at the Ohio Honeybone in Baltimore, Cabaret. Oh, Vancouver, so what that says. Baltimore Cabaret, and then also La Jolla at the Comedy Store. You're going to fitstog.com for all the live days. We're talking about room for cream right before we came onto the air and you said, "Save it for the air." Yeah. I said, "I went into this place." I like to go to an Italian restaurant to get my coffee because they always have really good espresso machines. So, I'm driving down Ocean Park in Santa Monica, and I pull into this Italian restaurant and the Italian guys behind the machine. I go, "Let me get an Americano with room," and he looks at me like I'm crazy, and then he just sort of goes in the back and I see a lot of hands gesticulating, and then he comes back out and he goes, "Sorry, we don't have any room." Oh, right. That's funny. And I fucking broke out laughing and as soon as I started laughing, I said, "With room for cream," he started laughing and it was one of those great moments where you just get hysterical with the total stranger. Do you find that you have to. I find that I would like to talk in shorter bursts with people, but they require more words. What I'm saying is, I'll talk to Mike August, and I'll go, "How are we looking in Seattle?" And he'll go, "Well, Thursday shows a little light, but Friday looks strong and the late show could probably use a little help. Sunday's good, and I'll go, "Okay. What's our guarantee?" And he'll go, "For where?" "Okay." I should have said, "What's our guarantee for the city of Seattle and the shows we're speaking of?" But I just made a mistake of saying, "What's our guarantee?" And that was a mistake. Right. I bought a motive museum and a lot of talk about Jay Moore was coming out and doing the thing with us and everything, and five minutes for the show, I just go to Mike, I go, "Have you Jay here yet?" And he goes, "Jay-hoo." Now, I should have said, "Jay-moor," right? But I thought Jay would be enough. You literally needed to say more. I literally said more, and I also didn't say, "What's our guarantee in Seattle where we're playing this weekend?" Right. Right. Right. And you just said, with room. With room. You didn't say room for cream. We know I have a room. Right. But you didn't say room for cream. Yeah. You said room. Right. And maybe that's on you. Like it's on me with Mike. Yeah. I did not say, "Jay-moor." I just said, "Jay," who's coming to the show. Yeah. It's like when you're getting a massage and then she goes, "You turn over now." Mm-hmm. All right. Yeah. She didn't say all of it. But she just said a lot. Right. Yeah. Right. Yeah. And I always find it confusing when you're talking to people and they don't know what you're talking about, even though you're on the subject. Like, you know, I have my saying to people as they go, "What are you talking about?" I always go, "I'll always be talking about what we're talking about." Yeah. That'll be the subject I'm on, otherwise I would be an insane person. But there was a language barrier. Yeah. You had Giuseppe. Yeah. There's a lot of that. And it's also like, like, marital, you know, like sometimes obviously there's no words with marriage. There's, "She's brushing her teeth. I come up behind her and I start bumping my crotch against her ass." And then she through the toothpaste says, "No." Right. And I go, "I didn't ask." Right. And now you're adding words. Who, what culture, as I think about it, I'm Italian. And there was a time in this country where there were a lot of derogatory terms, of course, to Irish with the patty wagon and all that kind of stuff. And I would say Irish and Italians, maybe a little more so, probably celebrated in this country now. Like, I just got back from Pebble Beach. It was Ferraris and Lamborghini's as far as the eye can see and all the people just love the Ferraris and they love it. And as an Italian guy, you're getting laid, you know, there's not much cultural baggage with you anymore. Right. And the rear view mirror and the rear view mirror is a Maserati and everyone loves it. But there was a time, like, when they built the Hoover Dam, black people complain a lot about days of your and how they were treated and so on and so forth, which is definitely true. But when they built the Hoover Dam in 1931, they hired black people. They didn't hire Asians. Really? They had a Chinese exclusion act, but they were literally like, "Well, hire Irish dudes, will hire black dudes, will have Native Americans, will have anybody but an Asian can work on this damn." Is that when the tradition of Asian people wearing black face started? That's a good point. It ushered in that era. Right. Right. Yeah. I hear for job, motherfucker. So Italians are kind of a pretty low down, but pretty high up now, I would say. And then there's Irish, which are sort of also low down and they're doing pretty good now. And then you think like Japanese, well, they were, they're pretty celebrated now. I mean, people, look, people said my neighbor's Japanese, people go good for you. You know what I mean? You're having a good neighborhood or whatever. It's not going to fucking steal your newspaper or whatever it is. But they were pretty far down, too. Well, World War II shook up a couple of races. Like the Germans came over here and they were like the Lutherans that settled in Midwest and they were the backbone of the immigration wave of the 19th century. And then they twice tried to take over the world. And then there's some resentment towards that. And you don't meet a German people where you don't think Nazi a little bit. And the Japanese were also on the wrong side. But you also think precision. I mean, you also think Porsche. Right. Right. You know, as a gear head, I do think precision. Yes. Two. A lot of serial killers. I mean, you got to admire the grind, the attention to detail. Yup. You've seen Dexter. Yup. And then you got the Japanese who were on the wrong side of World War II. So then we hated that we interned them. Right. And then we felt bad. Yeah. I can bomb them. Yeah. But here's what I want to say to all cultures. And Middle East, you know, you're on deck, blacks, you're up on, you're on at the plate. Here's what I say to all cultures. We can change our mind. You think it's a lifetime sentence. It isn't. I mean, maybe I got cars on my mind because I just got back from Pebble Beach. But Audi was considered a junkie car in the 80s. That's right. You wouldn't let anyone buy an Audi. The German car you wanted was a Porsche and you would buy a Volkswagen before you got an Audi. And if somebody said 1985, I'm going to an Audi 5,000, you would talk them out of it. Now everyone loves Audi's. Yeah. Why? Because Audi's got their shit together. And they own Porsche and Volkswagen. They changed our mind about them is what I'm saying. And Japanese changed our minds about them. There are many cultures that are doing that middle east, it's time to make a move. You got to change your minds. So the Audi was the Trojan horse for the Germans. That's it. So they, like, look at Korea, look how much series are serious or how much more seriously we treat the Koreans because of the Kia and the Hyundai. Yeah. They're good cars. I used to, there was a song in the 80s called Made in Japan, but there was a joke that I remember from, like, Kid's birthday party when I was a kid, like in the 70s. You know, the joke would be someone would get you a baseball mid or something for a gift or a Tonka truck or, you know, a little truck toy or something to go, oh, this is amazing. Thank you. And then you'd go, you'd look turn over and go, oh, Made in Japan. Thanks a lot. That's great. Like it was a joke. It was a punch line to be made in Japan. Yeah. Uh, I just got back from racing a Japanese car at Laguna Saka. Oh, okay. I'm going to make my point. The Rolex Historic's, which is at Laguna Saka, which is the biggest vintage race, maybe in the world.
world. Just every year they pick a mark. They go, it's up, you know, 75 years of Ferrari. And the Farris are going to be kind of the main mark, you know, or it'll be 100 years of La Maha. Well, we have La Maha cars, you know, in the past, this prestigious race would not even let in Japanese cars. It's two lower crusts, two pedestrian, you know, it was all Ferrari, Mercedes, Porsche, didn't even fucking want to bother with Japanese cars. Last week, Japanese cars were the make. That was they, they said, we are going to honor Japanese cars. So you vintage ones or new ones, vintage, all vintage was the racing, but new ones, we are going to honor the fact that the Rolex Monterey historians were going to enter, we're going to have Japanese cars as they make, as they're make would be unheard of to the guys who were talking about it in the 80s. Well, look at motorcycles. I mean, rice burners, the Japanese bikes back in the 80s were like a joke. They were fake bikes. They have plenty of the plenty of bikes at the event, but yes. So the point is cultures, culturally, you can turn us around. You can make us think something different about you. It doesn't even take that much time. I mean, from when Audi was a joke to when people sort of wanted an Audi, it was ten years. And they turn around. Now we can go the other direction too, Ellen. We can think that you're great. And then we can, you know, Bill Cosby, we can go the other direction with people as well. Right. And cultures. Right. Well, yeah. I mean, you think about our standing in the world right now. I think the way people see America is definitely evolving. You can go. Right. Whole countries, whole nations, people, individuals and auto manufacturers can just go. You brought up, I think, Korean. It was. I mean, I could remember trying to sell my ex wife like 12 years ago on a Genesis. Yeah. I just go, it's a lot of car for the money. She's like, I want the Audi. I'm like, that's another 20 grand. The Genesis, like, just as good, but, but it was a Genesis. Yeah. And now Genesis are pretty fucking nice and no one knows and no one cares. Right. The Irish have never made a car. Have they? No. I mean, I guess the paddy wagon, like a station stationway. Yes, they have. Yeah. Are you ready? Yeah. The DeLorean. Now, oh, that's right. In Belfast. But that is not an Irish car. Yeah. Yeah. That's basically a American guy moving, taking over plant in Belfast. Right. And his whole, that's John DeLorean, whose, you know, Detroit guy who worked for Pontiac, who was kind of a maverick, who said, I want to build my own car. And they won't really let me do it here in Dearborn. But I'm going to go start my own car company. And Ireland was like so war-torn and kind of fucked up at the time. And they needed, they had like, you know, million, they probably leased him a factory real cheap. And they they gave all kinds of incentives to make this car there. Right. And he also thought he could get kind of the warring religious factions. He could get everyone together and get them to work together and one plant and find some commonality. Yeah, it was in Belfast. And I don't know if it was the Protestants of the Catholics that were working there. But the city was in, here's the thing about Northern Ireland is it's a really bad investment. The British are hanging on to it because they lost everything. Right. So like all they have left is like Northern Ireland and like the Canary Islands. Like there's nothing. Well, but it's an economic drain. It's a it's a it's a lost leader. The car, the DeLorean was a piece of shit. Yeah. And he ran out of money and he wanted to keep his factory going. And someone said, if you sell a bunch of cocaine, you can get more money and you can keep your factory going. And I don't know. Like, you know, I feel this way about criminals. Like, you know, the nut on the subway that hits the person with the ball, peeing hammer from behind, I want that person off the street. I don't know that I want to use taxpayer money to incarcerate John DeLorean. I feel like I want him out here earning. Yeah. His next idea is going to be better. He's he's a proven commodity. He was like a lead designer for Pontiac. He built like like in my world, my thing is like, Hey, John DeLorean, you didn't kill anybody. You're trying to get money to keep your factory alive and not have to take all your people and put them on unemployment, blah, blah, blah. I need some sort of restitution, but I don't need you sitting in a cell. I want you out earning and paying tax. I would say the same thing about your run of the mill street corner drug dealer that gets busted. I used to live on a corner that was a drug corner in Chelsea. I would say the same guy's out there 12, 14 hours a day. And they're handling money. They're laundering the money. They're making drop-offs. They're just inventory. Yeah. Just give me new trade. He's got the hustle. Yeah. I agree. There's definitely stories about those people and the organization they had to have. And yes, I totally, I totally agree. Why are we wasting money and carcerating you? I would like you out earning money and giving some back to the state. That's what I'm saying. And DeLorean that he didn't die in prison, did he? Also, it's always great that he was married to model Christina Ferrari. No way. Any relation to Ferrari? Yeah. No, but not that I'm aware of, but they should have hyphenated that name. Yeah. That kid could be, you know, the kid could be, what's your name? My name is Dave DeLorean Ferrari. Yeah. Oh, that's a card. Yeah. Let him drive. He can drive DeLorean's daughter. I went to high school with her. Oh, you did. New York. Yeah. I think it was John DeLorean. DeLorean died from a stroke in 2005 at 80, but did he work? Was he in prison or was he out by then? Yeah. She drove a DeLorean to school. Really? Yep. In high school. In high school. She drove a DeLorean. Yeah. Wow. Yeah. And she was super tall, too. Let's reminisce about the winners. You know, the high school winners. Yeah. From a vantage point of a 16 and a half year old awkward fits dog or a 16 and a half year old awkward corolla. You know, you look at the people that were the winners, you know. They did it. Are currently the winners? No, the winners in high school. You're a high school winner. Yeah. I'll give you an example. We had it. There was a huge national donut company called Winchels Donuts. Sure. And it was just a big, everyone knew Winchels Donuts. And plus everyone loved donuts. Okay. The son of the guy of the mogul who was like a greater two above me. He had to have to be like a senior when you're a freshman or a sophomore or something. He drove a Porsche. His name was Rhett Winchel. He had long flowing blonde hair. And it's like, that's Rhett Winchel. He's got a fucking Porsche. It's like an 80s movie. My dad's Jim Corolla. He's sitting on the fucking sofa trying to play trumpet right now. He's got no fucking money. There's a shitty Buick in the driveway. That's fucking Rhett Winchel. He pulls up in a Porsche. He's got the feather back blonde hair. You're like, what's playing on the radio when he pulls up? Oh, man. I'm going to go either forner or ario speed wagon. He's hot blooded. He's hot blooded. Yeah. And I was like, God, I guess got it, man. Yeah. Right. For example, his name is Rhett. Yep. Last name is Winchel. He can get all the old fashioned and buttermilk donuts. He fucking wants. Probably pulls up in that Porsche and they just load up a bag of fucking buttermilk to go. Here you go, Mr. Winchel. Here you go, Rhett. There you go. You want a nice feather on your hair, by the way, he's looking good. He's just fucking throws a few revs on that Porsche. I'm sure he had it all. I didn't talk to him or anything. I just admired from the distance. Sure he did. And then he would always get the girl that you that you wanted and you'd think to yourself, I would treat her better than Winchel. Winchel's going to move on. No, I knew I couldn't do any better than Winchel. Oh, really? I had nothing to offer. Yeah. What do I got? I got a fucking cot mattress in the back of a house with miserable people living in it. You know who my senior guy was? Christopher Atkins from Blue Lagoon. What? That's a beautiful blonde. I was a friend. Talk about Puket shells. Jesus Christ trapped on an island with Brooke Shields. And you know. What the hell? What kind of who's who of high school did you go to? It was a school in New York and Nick was it a private school? Yeah. Nick Crowe went there. His father was a B billionaire back in the 80s. A billionaire comedian, Nick Crowe. Yep. His
father a billionaire in the 80s. He started. He was the first guy to do financial security, basically protect as, as money was starting to get into bank accounts online. He was the guy that came in and did, he's protected. So there's a high pollutant private school. So he had, well, DeLorean, so John DeLore was tall, good looking angular guy in the corner of Christina Ferrari. I don't know if that was there. He obviously married some model or something. So his daughter must have been all kinds of hot. She was very hot. And she drove it DeLorean, but she had a big nose, which is my favorite kind of hot girl. I love a hot girl with a big nose. Is that because it makes him human? Yeah. It gives me, it's my door. I almost see hinges on the side of it, because it's a door I can open and right, because she had a perfect nose. No way. She hang with fit stock. No, you know, it was windshield. You know what you're saying? You're saying what I'm saying? What I tell people is you can maybe only afford the Kenmore refrigerator. You can't afford the sub zero, but you really want that sub zero, but you got to go with the Kenmore. Yeah. Find the sub zero with the dent. Right. They discounted. Yes. And now you got a sub zero, and it's got a fucking dent, but you got a sub zero. That's hot blonde with the nose on the worst, worst house in the best neighborhood. That's the schnoss. Right. Nice. So now I don't know what happened to Winchell's donuts. And now Dawson, you got to look up to what happened to rent Winchell. But I would happen to Christopher Adkins. Oh, yeah, what happened? A lot of studio 54, a lot of cocaine and then a lot of nothing. I don't, I don't know that he ever worked again. He did Blue Lagoon. Yeah. He starred with Brook Shields. Young love was found on an island. Yeah. It was very exploitive and weird and sort of naughty, but also sort of innocent at the same time. Yeah. But perfect for him. Because you spent the whole movie in a loincloth banging Brook Shields. And the way women are is once they see you with the one hottie, you can get all the hotties and no one's hotter in Brook Shields in 1979. Right. Right. Hmm. Yeah. I mean, I, I met Brook Shields when my father, you know, my father was in radio. So he used to host a Jerry Lewis telethon every year from New York for like 20 years. He was the, you know, they do 15 minutes in each local market. And then Vegas does 45 with Jerry Lewis. So my dad and Tony Orlando were the co-hosts from New York. Really? My family would go down and it was, it was a 36 hour gig. You'd go down to Vegas. No, no, my dad was in New York City doing it. Oh, he'd do it out of New York. So we'd run over to the studio. Uh-huh. And who's? Oh, Red windshield. Is that him? Yeah. He's doing real estate in Calabasas. That makes sense. Which is donuts under 100 locations still in six states. Oh, okay. Huh? Well, there you go. So, um, real estate seems about right. That feels, feels right. I lost my thought. Tony Orlando. Yeah. So my father, so, so Brook Shields comes down one year and I have a picture. Oh, God. I will get you the photo before the show airs. And you can put it up. I have a photo of me in Brook Shields where the same age, she's a solid 18 inches taller than me. And she looks about 15 years older. I look, I was like 14 and, uh-huh. And I looked like I was 11. Wow. And I stood next to her. And it was, it was like a joke. Did you rub one out there later on that night? That night. How about that decade? Yeah, that was a go to once you get, once they let you touch them, um, front of the roll of decks. You mean to put your arm around every picture? Yep. Yeah. I smelled that perch. Yeah, that shampoo purt plus purt plus purt plus. Yeah. Did, um, any other luminaries from your high school, Afghans? Who else? Um, who else went to Barbara Bush? Wow. Yep. Um, let's see, we got, um, I got, uh, my high school is, uh, Christy Canyon. Oh, yeah. And, um, you got born stars. I got famous actors. See, we got, um, Dean Devlin movie producer went to North Hollywood high. There was a lot of, uh, the carabinet went to Hollywood high. I remember, um, well, Hollywood high. I mean, that's, that's, that's a Wikipedia page. Yeah, that's not, that's not North Hollywood high. If you got a North Hollywood high, Dawson, see the famous, there, there was some pretty, pretty interesting. Oh, who the hell went, I've talked, yes, that, well, North Hollywood high has been around since like 1928 too. So a lot of people pass through that. Yeah. Those, those doors. I don't think my name is on there, uh, on the North, you know, on the who's who of, uh, North Hollywood high alum. Yeah. Well, let me ask you this fits the well, they look for that. Um, so I'm at the car weekend, and, um, I'm at this event called the quail, which is a really high, pollutant event, really cool stuff, real expensive ticket blah, blah, blah, but I got to get in the shuttle. You're not paying the ticket. No, no, we, we get the press pass or whatever, whatever it is, but getting the shuttle to go back to get the car, cannot park at the event. You have to shuttle to the event. And then I got a race at the track, which isn't like one 30 in the afternoon or something. So I got a, oh, I got to tell you, there's nothing worse than free booze, but you got to race the car in two hours. And they're fucking, everyone's trying to hand you champagne and you're like, yeah, yeah. So I actually talked to a guy, remind me to get back this, but I did say to a guy go, you know, I did this in 2011. I did that race it. I did it. I do it every year, but I did it 2011. And I said, um, I'm talking to a race car drive, professional race car driver drives for Ford and everything else. And he goes, um, I go, you know, I went to the quail before my race. My race wasn't like four in the afternoon or something. And it's nothing but caviar and champagne and mimosas and shit. And I, I go, I did have a couple of drinks, but I, I cut myself off. Like I said, you know, nothing after one or whatever. I just, I just said, here's your heart out, like 12, 12 o'clock, you can have a couple of glasses, champagne, stroll around, but you cut yourself off. But I did win the Rolex cup that year. And that's the only year of everyone, the Rolex cup. And he said to me, he goes, you know, we were sitting at the simulator, real high end F1 type simulator for Le Mans. And we had three or four of the other drivers there. And we're all doing Le Mans because Le Mans was coming up. And he said, you know, they kind of left the building. They, they, everyone sort of cleared out for the night and they were going to hang back and do more laps on the simulator. And he said, there was a bottle of scotch. And I said, yeah. And he goes, we said, let's get into it a little bit and see how this affects our lap times. And he said, they're all kind of better after the first shot or two. And then started falling off. They're lap times started falling off as the bottle was going down. But he said, first shot, everyone's lap time went up a little bit. Yeah. And I was like, yeah, get it. You're a little bit looser. You're a little less hesitation or whatever. You're not fucked up. You just kind of the edges off a little bit. And I thought it was kind of, I thought it was kind of interesting. But anyway, got on the shuttle. All right. First off, we need some like shuttle parking lot etiquette. And I'll tell you what I mean, we're coming back from the quail in the shuttle. I got to be in the car at 130. And it's like 1230. And it's like a half hour drive to the track. And the tracks crowded. And it's a little hectic. Like you got to get out of car, get to your car. You have to get in a full fire suit. All this equipment, you have to go grid up and stuff. Like it's a little bit of, I'm not going to just walk out and jump in the car. I got to change and do their stuff to do. So I'm kind of looking at the clock, you know, and there's two things. So we pull back into the parking lot where our cars parked like on a golf course or something. And our shuttle pulls up. But then there's the one dude in the car. And he's having a long conversation with the attendant, you know, like where he's going on. And I'm like, there's a whole shuttle. And then there's one douchebag who's having a long conversation. Is there, shouldn't the parking guy be like, a guy in the one car with a lot of questions, pull it off. Shuttle, you go past. And while I answer your question, after the shuttle filled with people goes past you versus we're going to have a long talk. Right. And then after the long talk, the guy
It has to do like a three point turn and stuff. I'm just saying there has to be a move it over. Let him buy. So as we're seeing there in the shuttle, two of the biggest douchebags in the world get onto the shuttle. And we're like, we're not the shuttle, you get on the shuttle over there. We're getting dropped off over there. - It's like when you got an elevator going down and somebody who's going up gets on. No, you wait. You wait at your floor for the elevator to come back up. Or it's more the version where you're on the 16th floor and you go down and you got a crowded elevator. And at some point someone gets on on the 8th and goes down to the 7th. Like we got to stop again for fucking you to move one floor. But okay, so these guys get onto the shuttle. It's two dudes and the guys like face timing his wife and she has like the grand kid and the volume's up to 10. And he's like yelling in the phone and I can hear every fucking word that she's saying and she's yelling and they're just having the loudest FaceTime conversation. I've ever fucking earbud, no nothing. Just filling up the whole shuttle. And then I also realized the guy's wearing way too much cologne. So I realized like it's an all senses effected. Like not smelling the guy. I'm hearing the guy. I'm hearing his wife. I'm hearing him talk about someone. He's like, oh, the Jaguar's nice. But I'll tell you what, I like our G wagon better. And I'm like G wagon douchebag. That's the doucheous fucking car that Mercedes G wagon says to everyone, I am a douche. Like we use like like the Miata used to say I'm gay. The G wagon says I'm a fucking douchebag. And these guys, this guy continues to talk the whole time. Then we pull up like a hundred feet to the place where the shuttle is and then even stay on the shuttle. They get off the shuttle even though the shuttle just moved them a hundred feet. And the shuttle's going back to the quail. I have no fucking idea what they're doing. But who are these people? And how come you've made it to the age of 64 and a half. You have zero recognition of any other human being being alive in your vicinity? One solution. And I've done this. Somebody's loud on a phone. Whether it's a shuttle or you're online for something. I pull out my phone and I fake a conversation where I talk really loud into his space so that you can no longer have that conversation. Yeah. When I heard him say he had a G wagon. Oh, the G wagon. Perfect. It's such a good deal. Where does the new Tesla super truck fit into that? I wouldn't drive one. But everyone who gets one tells me they're awesome. So, and I'm looking into a Tesla. So yeah, I'll get you a Tesla. And I was like, oh, I'm worshiping at the right fucking table. Here, yeah, it is a who's who. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, Riley. You were on the island. You did not bring sunblock. Look at that necklace. It's made out of clam shells. That's fantastic. And a leather vest. He found a leather vest on a top of the line. He told a leather vest. Is he? What was his name again? Christopher Atkins. Is he? Can we see him? Can we see him? Yes. Is he the Willie Ames of features? Remember Willie Ames? Scott Beos, buddy? Oh, right. Right. He was like Willie Ames was like the sitcom version of him, right? Although I think he's done a lot more, a lot more work. But. There he is. American actor and businessman. Thanks to good turn. The wall of fame at North Hollywood High has John Williams, the composer, Alan Lad, game show host, their talk show host, I guess, and Terry Gar on there. Oh, that's pretty good. That's pretty good. Is there any Adam Corolla on that line up? Yeah, you're in the lineup as notable graduates, but you're not on the wall, obviously. You know, they have a wall. Don't they have a mural or maybe I'm thinking of Hollywood High. Yeah, we don't have a mural. We have a mural of like Caesar Chavez or something during a great boycott. By the way, the Bert Convey. Bert Convey. Bert Convey. North Hollywood High. Awesome hair, man. That one's hair was better in Bert Convey. So he had to do, Christopher Atkins had to do a bunch of island movies after this, right? Yeah. That's what happens. Like he got Chubby Checkered, like Chubby Checkered had to do the twist, they had to do the peppermint twist and they had to do the Christmas time twist and he had to like twist in for pedalysis used RVs. Like he had to put twist on everything. Not only that, he had to be, he was already in imitation, not only of himself, but Fats Domino. Right. He was Chubby. Chubby Checkered Fats Domino. By the way, back when you could just give someone a real insulting nickname, you know what I mean? Like it wasn't Husky Domino and it wasn't a Zoftek Domino and it wasn't Big Bone Tony. Big Bone No. It was just Fats. Yeah. We'll just call you Fats. Right. There was Minnesota. I wonder if Minnesota Fats ever ran into Fats Domino to go like a, who really is the Fattest out of, out of all of us and I always, at some point later on in these guys career when they, they come down with some sort of cancer, but they're still working for a number of years and now Fats Domino's 144 pounds, you know, and it gets a little sad when Fats has to hit the stage at the county fair, but he's riddled, he's currently getting chemotherapy, you know. He's chugging creatine between sets. Christopher Acton's posed nude for play girl in 1982. Wow. He didn't show cock though, Diddy. Did he show his dick? Because I don't think he showed his dick. Do you think he showed his dick? No, our high school had a policy that you could do play girl, but you could not show you. No dick. No dick picks. Nope. Yeah. No cock policy. But Reynolds revived his career with doing play girl. That's true. Yeah. He didn't show any dick. No, but he hit. I think he had it tucked. I think there was a leg and like a tuck. He was laying prone. He was laying prone. Yeah. Oh, they did show it. They showed dick. Wow. Wow. Cut. Cut. Listen, showing dick in 1982, when you just came off a blue lagoon, that normally takes a full decade for you to sort of show dick. Yeah. and show my dick and dick.
until like 2014. (laughing) - I love your spirit. (laughing) - You should've seen a fuckin' look. - The look on FitzDog face is that look your dog gets when he sees you beating off, you know what? - I was thinking about the man show, that that actually might've been something you did on the man show. (laughing) - You're lookin' at him, it's the greatest. - If I was directing you in a movie, I'd say a little over the top with the I'm confused. Real it in a little bit. This isn't a farce. - Also trying to keep my hand for my pocket so I could Google it. (laughing) - What year was Blue Lagoon then? Was that 70? - 1980. - 80? - Yeah. - He's showin' cocked two years after that movie. - Yeah. - Now the weird part is Brooke Shields did nudity when she was like nine. - Pretty baby. - Yeah, and also just like a photo shoot, like the creepiest dudes in the world are like I did a nude photo shoot with Brooke Shields when she was nine and I just hung on to the pictures. And then at some point she got really popular. So I sold them, like really what kind of guy are you? Look, isn't that a fuckin' weird one? - Yeah, well any of the celebrity sex tapes to go around. - Yes. - Especially like the early ones, you know, there was like who was the first sex tape to got out? - Well, a lot of people would say Tommy Lee, but the answer is earlier than that. - Well, Debbie Harry did softcore porn and that got out. That was probably the 70s. - I wasn't aware of that. I'll tell you what I got. I got Stallone. - Yes. - Roomer. - Italian Stallion. - I guess, I sort of. - That was the name of the movie. - I know, well they named it after that after Rocky. - Oh no, I think the movie was called the Italian Stallion. - I know, but it was probably called something else and then Rocky became a huge hit. - Oh, you don't think it was a coincidence that it was Italian Stallion in both. - No, I think, well, we gotta look there. Okay, we gotta get to the spot. Well, I don't, I think the Delorean was named after John Delorean. I don't think the Delorean car was named and then John Delorean got involved with it. I'm saying that, you see what I'm saying. I think it was already named the Delorean when he got there. - You don't think that Italian Stallion is enough of a trope that it might have been used for a stag film and then later happened to be the nickname of Rocky in the movie. - No, the name of the porn film was the party at Kitty and Studs, but once Rocky came out, the party at Kitty and Studs doesn't pull any viewership, but the Italian Stallion renamed to the Italian Stallion after the success. - Right. - I can't believe you waited all these years. (laughing) I feel like this show's a real learning, it's very true. I assume they named it that to get traction. 'Cause now everyone knows, right? - They rebranded. - They rebranded. - They rebranded. - Okay. - Yeah, yeah, it's rebranded it. Yeah, so when I play theaters now, I go by Shane Gillis. I just rebranded, I didn't do that 10 years ago, but now I go by Shane Gillis. - Because most of them are gonna stay. - Yeah. - Yeah. - They've already paid the sitter. They valley cars. - They're rich. - Yeah. - I'm fucking funny anyway. - Funny guy. - You're a funny guy. - Sure. - Hang in and our brand of humor's not so far apart. - What are you doing? You're going out to laugh tonight, right? - Any life you go to the restaurant and they don't have Porterhouse and you get a T-bone. Is that a fucking horrible evening? - Yeah, and by the way, you've seen tires. This guy likes cars. - Yep, you know how much you kick his tires. - You're right, right. - That's so terribly different. My Trump impersonation is not awesome, but all right, other than that, we're back there at the same philosophies when we go out there. So, all right, so wait, hold on a second. The first poor, okay, so then there's Bootlay. Then there's the Rob Lowe one. - Oh, yeah. - That was with the teenagers of the Democratic Convention. - Yeah. - And Atlanta. - Yeah, there's the Rob Lowe one. And then there's, by the way, no harm, no foul on the Bootlay porn if you're dude and you got a big Wang. - Sure. - 'Cause people are, people are always like, see that Rob Lowe thing, it's got a big heart. - No, I think RayJ put out the movie with Kim Kardashian. - Yeah, they say that the mom did. - Wow. - Okay, but here's the one. I'm gonna go early, early, Jane Kennedy. - To sports broadcaster? - Yes, Jane can be beautiful. - Sure. - The best one, you know, they talk about, sometimes the ethnicity hurts and sometimes it helps. It helps. She's fantastic looking. - Because you don't know, you know she's ethnic, but you can't really put your finger on what. - Mm-hmm. It's be gonna put in a finger on. - Yeah. - She is with Leon, Isaac Washington. What was the actor? What was the black actor? There was a sort of hot black actor. - Washington, welcome back. - No, different guy. This guy was a black actor. You'll kind of know who he is. He did stuff. Jane Kennedy, what was her porn? And she was at the height of her power. She was like hosting NFL today and stuff like. She was a black woman. She was black and female and hosting an NFL show on a prime time network in the '70s. I mean, people talk about like, "Well, now there's women's sideline." - Yeah, this is 50 years ago and she's all over the end. She's like the face of the NFL. Leon Isaac Kennedy, is that what I said? Yeah. - Good Paul. - That's a decent, ask me if I can name three people that signed the Declaration of Independence. I'll like, "Ah, come on there." - Were they naked? - Is there filming them, fuck it? Her, what year was this thing? Then what was this? And Leon Isaac Kennedy was like a hot, black kind of Spike Lee kind of before. Like he directed and he wrote, but he starred in and it was like, he was had juice. I mean, enough juice to marry Jane Kennedy. - Yeah. - You know, who was-- - Was like black exploitation movies? - Ah, we got it. Not really. I mean, I guess we got to look into it 'cause she was the bell of the ball. She's making good money. He's making good money. And I think he shoots up like a boot like her with them. - Like a real to real. - Just to be, just for us, kind of thing, but there may be some fisting involved. - No. - Oh yes. That's what I hear. - Do you think it was a black power thing? - She just fell on his hand. Yeah, he was taking the gold and Munich and had the hat up, had the, thank God he was wearing the glove. I don't, you gotta look into this. This is midter, later 70s, but this is early bootleggy, pre-ray Jake, Kardashian, pre-Tommy and Pam Anderson. This is early and the only blessing for them is there's no way to share it back then. It's, you know, it's 1977. What are you gonna do going the internet? Like how are you gonna see it? It was just lore. It was a lot of, you know, there wasn't maybe a VHS cassette got passed around or something. Like how? Like I always say this, I'll talk to people there my age, a group where you grew up, a group, you know, Daniel Kellison from the mansion. They grew up in Brattleboro, Vermont. You know, I'll go like, Daniel, you're in junior high. Do you hear about Rod Stewart having a stomach pump? 'Cause he had so much seam in it and he goes, oh yeah. I'm like, how's that work? There is no internet. How to get to Brattleboro, Vermont in the seventh grade and they got to Walter Reed Elementary in junior high. How do we, how do we both know about this when we're 13? Yeah. Oh. How? There's no internet. Caitlin Jenner went to, not, I didn't go to school in my town, but in my town, the high school, Caitlin Jenner went and has all the records, all the sports records. Yeah. 1980, sex tape is, is Jane Kennedy, is Jane Kennedy still alive? Is he still alive? Did they, Jane Kennedy still alive? I mean, Jane Kennedy's like one of the hottest commodities on TV because she's so beautiful and good at sports. Sure. And she's dead. All right. Yeah, this tape comes out right in the height of her powers. Like, was she on NFL today and when the tape came out, Did she quit? Did she become. suicidal she she's a kind of person where you you know if you if you saw her when you know in 1979 you'd go this six gonna have a long career I make a lot of money right and then she just completely gone yeah and now it helps you it's yeah yeah people come back be with sex tapes no my agent told me to cut one last week yeah right did he mention who you should do it with well obviously Kimmel yeah I mean he's got a lot of juice and you know Trump would fucking pass that shit around I mean for sure right we could we get out on true social yeah you're gonna make sure he's the bottom oh yeah yeah you're right I'm wearing a mega hat we could blow up the internet I should say come on Jimmy fucking you got a sense of humor don't you well by the way now that you've said this somebody is actively making that AI video as we speak all right so Jane is still alive recently she recently and still alive she recently Leon is alive oh she recently addressed the sex tape hmm just a quick 47 years later um last September for MPR she talked about it was the first time ever Leon is also alive the actual sex tape is scrubbed on the internet what did she say I'd like to hear her and then did she get fired from the NFL you know NFL today or whatever it was like because things didn't happen after after that you know I family member stole the tape and released it a family member hmm Jesus wow she yes oh god this is like literally a family member so he shot it with her for their pleasure and then a family member Jesus Christ how uncomfortable with thanks giving me like they know their careers and ruin both and the fucking how what do you think that fucking family member made eighteen hundred dollars I mean right Jesus Christ Jesus they both had hot careers they shot oh god it had to ruin their marriage wonder if there was a black male attempt followed by the release of the tape well you got the black male part yeah yeah I wonder I wonder I need this full fucking story and we got to make a mini series out of this shit yeah because I didn't know family member did it but it makes sense because she had a career that was going gangbusters and he had a career that was going gangbusters so neat and in 1980 it was heavily frowned upon like this was not porn uh sex tapes yeah sex tape you could not right have a sex tape come out and land on your tits like the Kardashians did you that was the you have a Janet Jackson ruined her career I was a scarlet letter and you were not allowed back in but what is the rest of her story Andrew and did you guys even know this story and what was Leon Isaac stuff like I think he did do a western or something but I want to hear was he he was kind of commodity kind of you know looked a little like sugar ray Leonard or something uh kind of like a lot of sugar ray back then what was his uh his movies penitentiary oh he was like a boxer in in penitentiary oh he's in lone lone wolf McQuade lone wolf McQuade yeah Chuck Norris movie yeah Knights in the city Hollywood vice it kind of he got out of he got out of the gate with penitentiary where he played like a boxer and it was a heavy roll and blah blah blah and body and soul and then then all kind of penitentiary three penitentiary two I guess penitentiary was a hit but Jane was she fired from her NFL and and did it affect it and how can we hear her talking about it on PBS or whatever whatever whatever she was the private video was leaked in the 90s and she lost every contract she had phone stopped ringing everything but how come I knew about it before the 90s if it was this is just I'm reading it from the article there's nothing about this on Wikipedia or anything really this is just from an interview she gave madame noir I'm trying to find what year because it was definitely out in the 80s like I knew about it yeah and like I said like like when you're you're sitting around talking about your leaked porn tape you know and the person's like is it just you kind of being nude in the shower now it's more than that and it's like is it is there a guy in it like yeah yeah Leon's in it are you having sex yeah well people have sex you know there was fist that's to just be that you know what I mean yeah I mean when you what is that moment because we've all had that moment that moment where you walk out to the parking lot you know I thought I parked right by that palm tree huh where did I park my and at some point you realize your car was stolen and that's the moment you know we go you're to that moment yeah at some point they like you know they're upper shelf or they're closet or whether they move the sweaters and they reached back to grab the porn tape and it was gone that brother's got a raccoon coat on and he pulled up the Stutt's bear cat it's 1929 right then stuck 20 just gonna do he says oh my god but that moment when the tape is gone yeah and then you go oh shit there's there's fisting yeah what do you do like what's your first call like wait also your household name who's got this tape I mean back then it was so shameful so shame it was like unbelievable there was a girl when I was coming up doing stand-up in Boston there was a girl who was the hottest girl in the scene she had this the most of a lup she was body she was a comedian she was in a comedy team and then she broke up the team to move out to LA and then we're all back in Boston we're like oh good luck to her I see if she makes it you know she's very pretty and then a year goes by we don't hear anything two years goes by you know people chat I guess maybe it's not going well and then one day somebody comes up to me they go she did it she got something really what is it half-inch videotape I take it home I pop it in and it's a spank what do we call sin a sin a bond not not show time what was the other one oh skin a max skin a max skin a max soft core porn fully nude simulated sex yeah and that was one of the greatest moments of my life and I didn't hold it against her I look against myself yeah and she she was you know nothing ever happened except for those movies but she put them out pretty regularly yeah and those tapes there was no internet but those tapes oh yeah oh yeah you tried to get a first generation yeah no I know yeah yeah when I found out Christie came in was doing porn did you know her yeah I want I almost well I tried to go on a date with her yeah she stood me up okay but yeah I knew her everyone you know newer yeah because she looked like that when she was 15 or 16 you know did when she'll take a shot so what else if we learned about this Jane Kennedy tape what else like who was the family member that took it and Jesus Christ and what did they do with it like how do you fence something like that like you know this family member is you know it's not um I'm trying to Larry Flint it's just some 22 year old dude who works at a fucking top you know you got TMZ and you sell at the TMZ what do you do with the tape then in 1982 when you go find some record producer go I got a tape you know Jane Kennedy sure I want to I got to tape our fucking wait pay me yeah like what do we do with this what do we do with it it's like when the jerky boys came out right there was no internet but you just copied it and you passed it around yeah those guys ended up hating each other today yeah that's a shame yeah the movie didn't really work out no no no no not at all that was rough
Yeah, and uh, but I think there's a movie about them now. I think there is something like that I gotta say well people ask you what were your comedy influences growing up You I'm sure you get asked this all the time in interviews and I always list as a couple guys out of Boston Don Gavin and Steve Sweeney and then the jerky boys is at the top of that list though I didn't see I was always out here and that stuff didn't make it to me. Oh, okay Didn't I had a roommate from Philly who knew all about the jerky boys, but I was in LA And it didn't make it it that didn't make it to us like to whatever I was probably hanging around with ground links people and stuff like that Plane Jane name of Jane Kennedy's book Decades before nude photos of celebrities routinely appeared and we have the tape of it or we're gonna play it? Routinely appeared in the media and by design started from the top Decades before nude photos of celebrities routinely appeared in the media and by design Instantly put them in the cultural zeitgeist when it happened to me. It wasn't just shocking It was publicly scandalous which is why it held such power over me the power to tear down my life the power to blow up my career and Most devastating of all the power to turn my happiness self-confidence and success into rock hard humiliation You're a rock hard. I'd like to see this Big support self some might say you did nothing wrong and you have nothing to explain But you want it to dig in including for many years There was speculation over who was responsible for this intimate moment being made public. Yes Your then husband won a suit against Ebony magazine Yes, he did for saying that he was the person who leaked the tape you revealed that there was a moment of suspicion Because I'd be thinking Was you I did I did think at the beginning that it was him Because I didn't know yeah, you know, I didn't know but I knew that it was not like him But the thing is that you know that when you don't know and there's some and we call the FBI We call the FBI to step. Did you feel unprotected by the world because again? Here's this private moment you done nothing wrong and yet it turned into this fodder it affected your business It did I lost I lost every contract I lost every contract and the phone stop ringing except a cancel I just knew that If I didn't tell the story in my words I paused for one second Yeah Also, I don't know who was leading a better life than Jane Kennedy back then yeah like One of the most beautiful people on the planet everybody In tons of businesses and endorsements and contracts and whatever um Would work forever because she was a black woman, but she was very appealing to a white audience and seem to know her football as well like never going to get fired and One moment where the husband probably spontaneously just after a couple glasses of wine goes when I get out the video camera You know and she goes fuck it. Okay. That all all gone. Yeah By the way back then when they would take y'all You couldn't sue CBS for fire now you'd sue CBS for wrongful termination or whatever and a court of The court of the people be on your side as well. This is back like they just fire you. Yeah terminate your contract No, I can relate to this because A video just leaked recently online of me from I love the 70s on vh1 Doing some hacky joke about the pes candy coming out of the neck And I was humiliated and my phone stopped ringing And I didn't know how to explain it to my kids You know if they give you a premise the night before vh1 calls are gonna give me five hundred bucks I'm gonna talk on camera. You don't have to apologize to me, but I get it. Yeah booking stride up Phone stopped ringing. Oh my god. By the way phone stopped ringing sounds good now Doesn't it? It's everything I get as it's possible spam risk I want to hear a little more from I want to hear a lot more. This is really compelling except a cancel I just knew that If I didn't tell the story in my words There's already all this other crap that's out there that that are untrue That are lies that are people speculating and I had been come sick of it and I had to say finally These are my words Continue to be Someone that is a beacon I mean, I would often look at magazines and see what I went on in this part what year did she end though at the NFL today or Whatever whatever the show that was and we can probably figure out when this came out They gave her hand there and the whole fisting thing is that just husband gave her handles. Is that me? He took play boxer in that prison movie Louis CK have this joke he goes they call it fisting. How do you know they're really making a fist once they're inside? They could be doing shadow puppets Yeah, it's a good point. Let me make it a good point Thank Kennedy stopped at NFL today in 1980 Oh Trying to figure out when this thing this thing didn't come out in the night, but anyway I don't know as everything is scrubbed from the internet now like they can do that like roblo Pay somebody takes money. It takes money Yeah, like you can't like there's not a lot of I remember at a certain point like if you printed something about Tom Cruise being Sam freight even say oh okay That that would get scrubbed or you would get sued for it if you got big lawyers and they're policing like Try to find Howard Stern clips online of his TV show all right unless he releases it. It's scrubbed It's a good point. Yeah cruises people are fanatics with that stuff All right, let's see try to figure this out. Oh, that was one of my one of my best I argued with Mike August from LA to San Diego in a car once We have the longest rolling argument. I think ever ever Lay down. That's like a 150 mile argument. We had a group we argued from Los Angeles to San Diego on one subject the entire ride was one long argument on one subject involving Tom Cruise Yeah, it was pretty it was pretty miraculous. It was pretty easy I was making a movie they say Jane Kennedy left NFL today in 1988 after CBS let her go officially due to network concerns and logistical pushback over her hectic travel schedule flying back and forth between Los Angeles and New York alongside shifting dynamics and management decisions blah blah blah still can't figure out what year that taped him out so Mike and I had an argument from LA to San Diego just about one subject which was Tom Cruise and in his people who are very protective yeah, and I was trying to get Tom Cruise in a poll I did a documentary about Paul Newman's racing life. Of course it was fantastic. Oh, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yeah I have Tom Cruise's fire suit and his helmet is racing suit and his helmet from back in the day when he raced with Newman and he had a season Where he raced with Paul Newman and Paul Newman drove the big car and he drove the showroom stock cars or the less horse power car but he spent a year traveling The country with Paul Newman racing he's amazing. He'd race in the early race and Paul Newman to race like in the feature race and then it And we talked to the team owner Bob Sharp and blah blah blah and you know He finally retired. He was like too aggressive. He crashed all time stuff like that. So Bob's like whoa listen We're getting everyone in this dock We got to get Tom Cruise to sit down and talk about his recollections of Newman and racing with Newman and of course we could never get through to his people And somebody printed a sort of shitty article about Tom Cruise and something that may have had some connection to what we were doing I don't remember but it was like a bad press article in a magazine and We had nothing to do with this magazine. I didn't even know what it was and neither did Mike but Tom Cruise's people contacted Mike and they said And I quote what do you know about this article and Mike said he and got back to them He said Tom Cruise's people want to know what I know about this article and I said They're accusing you of planting this article Mike or us and he goes that's not
what they said. They said, "What do you know about it?" I said, "Well, that's them saying, "Are you responsible for this article?" He goes, "You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to call them back. Tom cruises people, and I'm going to tell them we got nothing to do with that article, but I know what that periodical is, and I'll get it taken down." I said, "Mike, that's going to make them think you plan at the article." He goes, "Why would it?" I go, "Mike, they're asking you, did you plant the article?" Other than that, they asked me what I know about it. I said, "Mike, that's the same as them saying you planted the article." They didn't say that. They said, "What do I know about it?" I said, "Mike, that's publicist talk for, did you plant this article?" "Well, I'll tell them no, but then I'll tell them we'll get it taken down." I said, "If you tell them no, but we'll get it taken down, it sounds like you have connections over at the place, and that you put it up because you're taking it down." I think they'd appreciate that. I said, "No, Mike, they think you planted the article." They didn't say that. Just tell them I know nothing about this article. I don't even know what the magazine is. I don't even know what you're talking about. Well, why don't we offer to get it taken down? Then maybe we could get some good grace with them, and they'll give us Tom Cruise. If you ask, if you take it down, Mike, they're going to think you put it up. They didn't say that. They accused you of putting it. They asked me what I know about it. This went from LA to San Diego. Would never budge. Wow. Said you offered to take it down. It's like the second you say, "I'll take it down." They're going to think. He just blinked. Yes. Yes. I got a picture of fit's dog as Jane Kennedy. That doesn't even look like fit's dog. Wearing the gloves. Wearing his fist and gloves. Give me Jane Kennedy at our hottest because man, she was a beauty. Then there's nothing more about the family member that stole it. I mean, I guess, you know what? I was talking about it earlier. We don't know where James Dean's wrecked Porsche is. Is that right? Yeah. It's gone. Got stolen. The most iconic guy in the world crashes in a Porsche 550, an exotic car and it's gone. Never to be seen again. Wow. You should be able to get away with fucking crime before this goddamn flock cameras. Where's the steel from the buildings on 9/11? Pull that up, Dawson. Fucking juice. Hit them. I'm something. Wow. Look at Jane Kennedy. Yeah, she was something else. Am I right or am I right? I mean, you see what I mean? She could have been at least turned. She could be Hispanic. Where's O.J.'s gym bag? Wow. She good looking. Yeah. Wow. She good looking. Holy shit. I told you. Never make the cover of jet magazine. Man. All right. Listen, I'm right about this. Well, I think I think you're onto something. I would. I'm not kidding. You should produce a documentary about this. It's a crazy story. This is a crazy story. And I think it taps into. It goes beyond just this incident. I mean, you could talk about a black woman in the 70s, sort of like ascending to a job like that. A woman in sports on top of that. Yeah. Like, it's a pretty, you know, important story. Yeah. I'm going to ask, um, August to contact cruisers people. See if we can get some backing on this project. Yeah. An argument all the way to San Diego. Fits dog. You go to fitsdog.com live shows. Great standup comedian. Watch a special, by the way, on YouTube. You know me. You know me. Very funny. Thank you, man. Well, take a quick break. Be back with the news right after this. Well, let me tell you about grooms. I want to feel good during the long days of summer. Grounds makes that easy. One daily pack of gummies covers my greens, vitamins and prebiotics. Grounds are a convenient, comprehensive formula in one delicious daily pack of gummy bears. This is in a multivitamin, a greens gummy or a prebiotic. It's all of those things and then some at a fraction of the price and bonus and actually tastes great. I know because I eat them. It's a daily pack of gummies because you can pack all that good stuff into just one. Also includes eight grams of prebiotic fiber, which is more than two cups of broccoli. I don't know how they get it all into this, but it, it's good and it works. When I'm traveling, it's hard to stay healthy, but now I can conveniently hit my health goals and it's delicious. So I actually look forward to it. And if you're a science guy, know that grooms and gradients are backed by over 35,000 research publications. I love them and I know you will too. It's grooms, right, Dawson? Save up to 52% off with code Adam at gruns.co. That's code Adam at gruns.co. Hello and welcome to Pluto, fo. Fantastic. The matrix trilogy. Mean Girls. Side up. Express nothing. They're free 24/7. That is so fast. Pay never. It's time to check Adam's voicemail. Aceman Carl 39 from Florida. It's been listening every day for 12 years. Just wanted to say you need to go back and watch Bloodsport with the boy. It perfectly encapsulates 80s action movies. And it's right up there with predator and cobra on the top. Alright, thanks. Get it on. You can leave us a message at 888-634-1744. Alright, I'll watch Bloodsport. Is Linda Blair in it? No. Well then I'm out. You know my new edict. It's got to have Linda Blair in it. It's got to be from the early 80s otherwise I'm out. Alright, tilt that mic a little bit there. Andrew. There you go. Alright, what do we got in the news? Well, big news. The guy right underneath Fauci, Dr. David Morns, he just pled guilty to conspiring to conceal COVID-19 records. Now these were discussions and shared theories regarding whether the coronavirus emerged naturally or leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China? Yeah, by the way, whether it's the January 6th committee or Fauci in COVID, what's with all the destruction of the documents people if you're just running the show fairly and evenly. And also, remember six years ago when I said Fauci was compromised, what would Fauci look like six years ago to today if he was a stock? He was an actual stock. If there's like a graph, like he'd be peaking six years ago and it only goes one direction. It never pops up. It never alters. It never varies. It's all bad. Everything you hear about Fauci from this day on will always be bad because he lied and he was full of shit. And I just, I marvel when doaps like Gretchen Whitmer sit there with Gavin Newsom and laugh about destroying their states. Like they literally have a laugh about it. I don't know, we only knew we knew back then. How many schools you shut down, bitch? How many jobs in lives? Did you ruin? How many kids did you drive to suicide? How many adults did you drive to alcohol in addiction? You fucking animals and they sit around and laugh about it and they go, it's COVID weird. I don't even really remember it. Like it doesn't really feel like it happened. They sit around laugh and not drink beer. Yeah, we're going to order some fake beer and not drink it and then we'll sit around and have a laugh about COVID. Well, I want to get into the actual electronic communications and documents that were concealed. Communications regarding efforts to restore or revive a controversial NIH back coronavirus research sub-grant previously tied to eco-health alliance. That's a big one. And then this eco-health alliance comes up again because he's part of the what he's being charged with is collusion with an outside researcher, a private coordination with a non-government figure such as eco-health, Peter Daisek. Daisek? Okay, let me just say this. It's a pretty simple basic equation and let's just say it's a movie plot. You go, all right, what's the movie? Well, the movie is there's a guy's a scientist and they have
outlaw studying these viruses in his country. So he quietly outsources it to a country that will, like China, and then quietly funds it. Okay. So now instead of studying these viruses here because they're outlawed to do here, we move them overseas. Just like we do, we used to do with Swiss bank accounts and now the came in islands. The companies go, we're headquartered. You know, all the carnival cruise ships and all that comes that they're all flagged somewhere in some international port that's not ours 'cause they don't wanna deal with the taxes and the jurisdiction of England or the United States or wherever they, we do this all the time. We just move it. We move the shit somewhere. - Yeah, we're based out of Delaware. - Right. We'll do it in the country and we'll move it out of the country. All right, so we moved this shit, we outsourced it. We moved it to China, but we funded it. So we have to fund that bank account that's offshore and just like gambling places used to do, just headquartered and the came in islands or whatever it is. Okay. So then in this movie, a virus escapes and goes international and goes around the world and starts hurting people. Now, you know that this is your virus and it came from a lab. So somewhere around the middle, toward the end of act one, you gotta figure out what to do here. Now, you've got a problem. There's a virus that looks like the one you've been working on comes from the same place and is killing everyone. So what do you gotta do? Well, you have to say it came from a wet market and you have to push that hypothesis. Now, no one knows about you outsourcing this virus so we all tend to believe you, but then there's part two. You have to attack everybody who has a theory that's different than the wet market and then you have to smear them as quacks and remember your science and your people are the truth and then you have to collect tons of useful idiots. This is not gonna work without useful idiots. This is not gonna work unless you get CNN and Don Lemon and the rest of those fucking retards to start calling Iver Mectin horse paste and to start attacking anyone who talks about the lab leak theory. So you need tons of useful idiots and that will be all these news outlets and then your foot soldiers are going to be moms and dads that fucking drank the Kool-Aid and are disowning anyone in their family who won't get vaccinated or who thinks maybe this thing came from the lab and then you have to get an evil figure like Trump to say I think it came from the lab and I've heard Iver Mectin could be effective and then you all attack Trump using all your useful idiots and your media. And by the way, you'll have the New York Times, you have the LA Times, you have ABC, NBC, 60 minutes. All of them will all just echo your theory and that's how you pull this off. Just like in Savage Streets, you know, everybody counseling the Blair out, but that bone she gets a bear trap. It is just like Savage Streets. Speaking of movies, this story is probably going to make it pretty interesting. All right, so this guy is the Fauci's right hand man and it's the national, hold on a second, the national institute of allergy and infectious disease. So you have to smear everybody and then attack everyone and then destroy any documents that might lead you to it. It's basically kind of the same thing they did with January 6th, really. It's the same sort of get all the useful idiots on your side, start some sort of committee, start attacking everyone and then meanwhile, you have to destroy a bunch of stuff. It's just like in good fellows right after the latan's eyes then they start, you know, I'd never seen that movie. Oh, come on, I saw Savage Streets. Oh, Savage Streets. Well, again, speaking of a story that's going to make a good movie, Penn State, my alma mater, Penn State frat pledges were forced to cut and bag cocaine for a massive coquering authorities said there are 14 people, including 13 current or former Penn State students, were recently charged with an alleged drug ring that was bringing in cocaine, methamphetamines, and fentanyl from New York and Philadelphia and then bagging them at two frat houses, two off-campus frat houses, Delta Uppflon, and Sigma Chi. And the two frat boy leaders were just, one of them, Thomas Robinson, he was, you're going to like this. He was arrested in December, but he thought he was being pranked by his brothers during the arrest and then one of them tased them and then he said, I'm going to fucking kill you. No, this is the guy that just turned himself in. The guy on the left, Thomas Robinson. So he got in trouble because, and again, he got to be a better criminal man. Everybody was buying cocaine from him through his Venmo. So it's just, it's there for everybody to see. There's probably some, you know, snowflake emojis and stuff like that, you know, these are college kids. They're not very serious. So he was arrested back in December and then he ratted out on everybody and it turns out his dad, who was a prominent Pittsburgh lawyer, was helping him conceal evidence. Allegedly, allegedly right now. And the other kid, Augustino Avatiello, a Sigma Chi frat brother was the, was the ringleader of the whole thing. He just turned himself in yesterday. They face decades in prison. Yeah, this guy looks like, looks like Dexter's laboratory. Yeah, yeah, I know you've got to look, he's got to look. Yeah, he's got to look like I should go to prison. (laughing) But I knew you and Greg were talking about this. It was, it was interesting. You guys were talking about sentencing drug dealers earlier and plus also you have your, your diddy sentencing bell curve. Where would this factor into everything? The diddy bell curve is how miserable would you be in prison? Like I said, I know, look, if you're a homeless guy, and you're eating out of dumpsters and sleeping on the sidewalk and you go to prison, it's an upgrade, you know, and if you're, if you're my dad, it's a downgrade, but it's not a deal breaker, 'cause all he did was sit around and read. So you could just sit in your cell and read and be left alone and no one asked a borrow money or get rides places or anything. It helps you move furniture or something. So diddy, when you're living in, you know, South Beach and you got a $70 million waterfront thing and you're, you know, you're drinking champagne all day. That's a pretty, two years in prison it's a long fucking time for diddy. It's not a long time for a homeless guy. So there should be a curve. Then the curve should be how miserable does it make you? But I don't want any nonviolent people incarcerated per se. There's sort of violent adjacent where you go, well, the guy didn't, wasn't a violent guy, but he sold a bunch of fentanyl and these guys OD. No, they're dead. So what's that mean, you know? Okay, when I don't get with our legal system, like I hear about guys getting busted for like some sort of tax evasion or something like that. Wesley Snipes, you know, I don't know, look it up Dawson, but like Wesley Snipes has to go to prison for tax purposes, right? Also, they don't allow debtors prison. So I don't get why the government has a debtors prison, which is you, you know, the government money, you go to jail, you owe the landlord money, you don't go to it, you don't go to jail, right? Wesley Snipes served 28 months in federal prison and after being convicted on misdemeanor charges. You, yes, okay. You put your hands on somebody, I want you in prison. Now there's different variations. There's push someone on, push a random person onto the subway tracks. I want you in prison for the rest of your life. Because you're, no, I'm sorry. Let me clarify that. I want you destroyed. I want you put down like a dog. Yeah, if you think it's a good idea just to push some random woman. Random, who's looking at our phone. Yeah, levels of violence. Right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So that's that. Then there's like I poisoned my husband to collect the insurance. That's like you killed somebody, but you'll never kill a citizen. You just killed your husband who, because you wanted to collect the life insurance. Now here's my whole point. I want people incarcerated who pose a threat to me, my family loved ones and anyone. If I can walk down the street all night in front of you, the woman who poised in her husband, she doesn't come out, hit me with an axe. She's just sitting back watching her fucking stories in her condo, right? Yeah. So when there's a crime that doesn't involve violence or hurting, and also we don't recognize shit. Like we got stupid shit. Like this illegal guy's been arrested 81 times. One time we're just hitting someone with a hammer randomly. Like I want those people destroyed. And I certainly don't want to.
them in prison less than Wesley Snipes, who is essentially saving himself money. But also you guys are stealing from Wesley Snipes. You understand? You're taking all this fucking money and give it to an angel. You can't make it. He can't make money. Yeah. That's unfair. I want him working. So these guys fall under this heading of probably not a lot of priors. I don't imagine any of these guys would ever kill anybody or hurt anybody when they're older. I want some sort of restitution. I'm more interested in a financial. I don't want to pay to have them incarcerated. I want them to pay us. I want some sort of financial restitution to be made to the country and to this college and the city and whatever that is. I don't know. In my world, you put them in prison for like a year. You give them probation, but they have to pay restitution. Yeah. They donate all the money they made to Penn State has thawed. So you can give it to kids with cancer or something like that. I mean, nobody got hurt. I went to Penn State. So I was in fraternity. They were probably serving a viable market. Yes. So it's, I don't know. I know. You're a big Joe Poff fan. I feel bad for Joe Poff. I mean, what happened to him is worse than what happened to Jane Kennedy. Man. We're just talking about people who just got railroaded. I remember talking about people that were toasts of the town who just got railroaded. No, people should rally behind Jane Kennedy. It was a family member. That's horrible. I agree. All right. So anyway, in my world, these kids don't clog up the system. We got to make room for black guys anyway. Well, speaking of clogging up the system, there was a recent vote in Los Angeles to remove restrictions on homeless encampments. First off, I'm unaware of any way. Some restrictions. Dawson, are you aware that there's restrictions on homeless encampments? No, there were certain places you're not allowed to camp on, on, on, on Karen Bass's head, but everywhere else, there's homeless. Well, if you want to go to a lot of other clean, they pop up again a few weeks later. Well, if you want to go to Las Palmas, senior park, now that's fair game. If you got a post up for a week or two, where else, Barnsdale Park. So we got rid of, we got rid of the, this is, uh, Hugo Soto Martinez. Oh, that fucking retard. God is that guy. He's back at it. He's back at it. He's dropping another banger here. Uh, yeah. So no more restrictions. So people are just going to par, they're going to, you think there's a lot of encampments now. I know the, the concept. So you understand in Los Angeles, in Los Angeles, can I tell you something? I have been pulled over in Los Angeles for not having a front license plate. I've gotten a ticket in a municipal parking lot for not having a front license plate. I've been pulled over in Los Angeles for sitting at a car, driving a car and ashing a cigarette out the window, not throwing a cigarette, not throwing a butt out the window. Imagine this, Dawson, ashing. That's it. Just tapping the ash while I was driving, I pulled over by a cop. So don't tell me we don't have rules. We got rules in Los Angeles, technically, that is breaking the law. There are two things you're allowed to throw out your window in a car in California. What are they? Water? Uh-huh. Chicken feathers. Wow. It's a very old law. It seems like a pretty fucking old law. Yes. Flicking or ashing cigarette ash out of a car is illegal in Los Angeles. I get it. Jesus. But there are a lot of things that are illegal where you don't pull the person over. Correct. It's cop. Pull me over. There's a many, many, many years ago. But here's my whole point. We got a ton of fucking rules. So we got nothing but rules. But somehow, when it comes to flopping wherever you want, outdoors, and shitting wherever you want, we are evidently out of rules. And that's so no Martinez guy, such a fucking major tart. God is that guy, asshole. You understand L.A. will never be right until we purge all these people. They have to be purged. They have to be removed. He's so fucking dumb. And he's such an ideologically, he's so ideologically turned out that we cannot function as a city with sodomartinas and like-minded tards. By the way, this is the problem. You let all the fucking Hispanics in here. They vote for the guy who has a name like them and he turns out he's just destructive Mexican retart. Well, it's going to be interesting if Warner Brothers moves out because that's going to, that is some primo camping space right there. Yeah. You're going to connect that to Forrest Lawn. Oh, I mean, yeah. It's going to be. Oh, they, yeah, that's good. Because I can't imagine Rick Caruso is going to want to buy another brand or Glendale or Americana right there until, I mean, well, I'll ask him in the show. Yeah. All right. FBI files reveal that former rep Eric Swalwell has admitted to a relationship with suspected Chinese operative fangfang. This was, yeah, this is just coming out right now. Well, it couldn't happen to a nicer piece of shit than Swalwell. It's glorious. It's glorious. And Adam Schiff's got to be the next one to go. These fuckers just sat and lied about Russian collusion, literally spent four years just lying about Russian collusion. And Pelosi, but I think she's got enough money to dodge it. Right. Yeah. The records, which were released by the White House transparency test, provide the most detailed public account, two date of the relationship and the FBI's efforts to investigate fangstides to California politics. According to Swalwell, the entirety of the relationship occurred while he was under the influence of Ambien. So he was taking Ambien to sleep and she was knocking on his hotel door. Yeah. I mean, that's just his plausible deniability of saying I don't remember anything because I took Ambien and whatever. I mean, he's just a piece of shit and good and it'd be nice if he went to jail. I don't know why there's no repercussions like you guys literally lied about Russian collusion for four years, fucked up the whole country, obviously CNN and the rest of your compatriots were in on it. And then you just, when we're done, we just walk away. That's it. There's no repercussions for going on CNN every other day and saying I heard something, something's coming down the pike just literally lying. It's kind of nice that a lot of these people are getting their comeuppance, but he was also never got thrown off the like national security board or whatever, whatever he was on as well. He didn't, Pelosi didn't think that fucking a Chinese spy was in any way compromising. Well, he never confirmed or denied it, like he pulled the whole, I'm not going to dignify that with a response, which at this point, that's a denial, that's saying, yeah, I'm denying it. Well, he mostly said he was firmly fed, he said when he was asked about it when Biden was still president, that he has been cleared by the FBI, which essentially, they just dropped the investigation under Joe Biden, clear him of shit. Not commenting on it is not a denial. No. That's like if you and I were in an elevator and one of us farted, and it's like, I refused to comment on that. Yeah, yeah. That's insane. Yeah. That's, that's what he melted. That's true. Yeah, but I may cut the cheese, but you lick the knife, so that's my come back. Man. Yeah. I don't know. I don't know. What? How's your meatball doing? Oh, it's corroded. And it exploded. And it exploded. That's right. I like that there was a lot of passing the buck in the fart game back then, like a lot of strategy. Like it was a chest tournament, you know, I smelt it, dealt it a lot. There was a lot. I need to come back to that one. There's no, there's no comeback. There's a silent, but deadly. Oh, man. There's a Dutch oven. I don't think kids are having as much fun with the farts today. No. I've not heard a kid say pull my finger ever. That's a huge thing. What if you can't light a fart with your iPhone? That's true. That's true. The kid back in the day had cigarette lighters. That's true. Yeah. Oh, man. Yeah. A lot of Roman-candling at man. Back in the day, man, if you, when I was 19 or 20, if you heard me, y'all get the lights, then there's going to be a fucking firework show. Blue flame special. Blue flame special. Ah. Ah. I lit a lot of farts. I remember lighting them up in the Love Line studio. And Dr. Drew was going insane because he had no, I was like, as a physician, he was unaware of the fact that you could light farts. Like that, he thought it was a wibestail, and I fucking lit it up one night. And Drew was going berserk. He loved it. My brother lit his flannel pajamas on top of him. Oh, yeah. It was dangerous. It was dangerous. Yeah. But it's not a flannel move, and it's not, it's not, if, if something's got it.
a drawstring on it to no way. That's dangerous, but it works nicely in a pair of leave eyes. That's something doing to explore like the history of a sex tape is discovering who discovered to life, life farts on fire. If you, well, I don't know that we can nail it down to one man, but if you, if you go on the internet, there's got to be a thousand hours of people just torching up farts, right? It's going to be some big mess. You are going to claim AI, but I'm telling you. I don't know, man. I was there. It was like the end of the movie, Miracle, you know, when the coach died and they said her, whatever his name was, her brook, yeah, died in a car crash at the end. It was moving. They go, he was not there to see the premiere of this movie when he lived it. That was, that's what I say about lighting farts on the internet. At the end of Peewee's big adventure. I don't need to watch it. I lived it, bam, bam. Because I mean, some of this, there was some real torching going on back in the day. And yet, see, for the same reason, we would sit around all day with a bucket, I'll give you an example. Half the entertainment my childhood was like, go get that trash can, put it over in the corner. Here's a ball of foil. Can you make it into the trash can? All we did was try to make fun for ourselves. Oh, man. All right. Let's watch. Let's see if we can catch your few blue flames. I like that they have Pantera playing in the background. Right. I'd rather hear the farts. It's always good. It's always good. Oh, man. That's what I am. This is years of entertainment, specifically with Catholic church with my brothers as a kid timing out when it's absolutely dead quiet when the fart. Yeah. My son doesn't need fart humor. He has a fucking 5,000 channels on the internet and everything he needs on his phone. He does not need that. Whiffle ball is dead. There's no wiffle ball. Whiffle ball used to take. That's a whole afternoon, two dudes playing one-on-one baseball. Now we're looking. Now this is AI. Get the fuck out of here. All right. Tonight, Albuquerque, New Mexico, you're going to add and curl.com. And by the way, Andrew's on the show is doing a very funny stand-up. So enjoy that. Thank you, Adam. As well. Summary:
FAQs
The DeLorean car was named before John DeLorean became involved with it. While he later designed and led the project, the name 'DeLorean' predates his involvement, though he is strongly associated with the car's development.
Japanese car brands like Toyota and Honda were initially seen as low-end or joke brands in the U.S. in the 1980s. Over time, their quality and reliability gained recognition, shifting public perception and leading to widespread popularity and trust.
Japanese cars were honored at the Rolex Monterey Historic Racing Event for the first time, marking a significant cultural shift. Previously, the event excluded Japanese vehicles, but now they are celebrated as a key part of the vintage racing heritage.
Audi was initially dismissed in the 1980s as a 'junkie' car. Over time, its engineering quality, reliability, and brand expansion—especially through owning Porsche and Volkswagen—led to a major shift in public perception and increased popularity.
The Mercedes G-Wagon is often used as a self-deprecating term by drivers to describe themselves as 'douchebags'—a humorous reference that reflects a cultural shift where car ownership is tied to identity and social commentary.
The story highlights how private moments could be leaked and exploited in the 1980s without internet or legal safeguards, causing professional, personal, and reputational damage, and showing how such events could destroy careers despite no wrongdoing.
