Speaker 1in first corinthians 12 verse 18 it says but now god had set had god set the member say with me he had king james well well where we are now god had god what set the members every one of them in the body as it had placed him let's just get into the subject very quickly i said god has given to every one of us grace am i right we treated that extensively for about three weeks but however there is not a single believer in the church of jesus christ today who has not received unique abilities and graces of god's spirit to stand in a place that no other person can stand and to do what no other person can do in essence god needs you did you hear what i said you can't feel he needs you you can't feel do you understand what i'm saying he needs you he needs the best of you he needs you to fulfill destiny because his plan is dependent on you walking in in the way that he's designed for you so every believer there's no small believer there's no little believer there's no small calling every believer has received grace of the lord so we said number one everyone has received grace and that grace puts you in a certain place and the um analogy that paul the apostle uses in first corinthians 12 even though for the sake of time we can't run through it is the fact that we all are members and so because of the unique grace of hearing that the ear has the hairs it's placed here imagine you're you have it on your feet i mean you're not going to be hearing so much and so your grace determines your place not your preference not what you like not your sentiments are you following what i'm saying here your grace determines what your place all right and very important as well is the fact that because of the grace that you carry or the graces that you carry and the place that god has put you you will have a unique race a unique journey and so you can be inspired by people and learn a lot from people you read the stories of others you're inspired by it and i do encourage that you should but god is not in the business of repeating himself the bible speaks about the many-sided wisdom of god and when he says many-sided wisdom of god can i tell you you are one of the many-sided wisdom of god which means when he says the many-sided wisdom of god each of these sides have names one is called shola are you following what i'm saying here one is called rema glory to god the many-sided wisdom of god so god is not trying to repeat anything i like to say this that your unique experiences are always connected to god's plan for your life always whether or not you're excited about them whether or not you know them they are always connected with god's plan for your life even if please listen very carefully even if you're not excited about them you're not even if the enemy chew it along your path god takes it up and uses it for his purpose i would always give this example and you'd hear me say this constantly and as a reminder to everyone there is no wasted experience in your life there's no wasted part of your life you may look back at those three years and say well maybe if i didn't travel to this place maybe if i wasn't in that relationship maybe if i didn't meet this person maybe if i didn't meet this person maybe if i didn't do this how many of you well i know not many people want to raise their hand at this but some of you will agree with me sometimes you just want to delete some months of your life some years of your life you just let me just press delete and let's assume let's all agree that this never happened and that's why every time we prophesy a new beginning because it just has a way of making you feel like yep i can start again but here's the interesting thing that including those aspects that you want to delete god uses god uses do you understand what i'm saying here everything god is the master at using the most impossible situations to write his plan he's the master at it well let's look at this a scenario not exactly terrible but look at moses and i've shared this before the first half of moses's life he spent as the son of what pharaoh's daughter that's the way the bible describes him in hebrews 11 that he was a son of pharaoh and he was a son of pharaoh and he was a son of pharaoh son of pharaoh's daughter and history tells us that moses was a warrior he was an army general now wouldn't it interest you to know that when moses enters into destiny into god's plan for his life he didn't fight any war there was not one war that moses fought not one in fact the only recorded war that we have who fought it joshua and moses was up on the mountain stretching forth his rod and so somebody goes what then was the essence of that entire part of his life while you're holding that tough remember when moses ran away out of fear because he thought he had botched god's plans egypt was now against him he runs into the wilderness and then he becomes a shepherd of sheep am i right and you may you see moses may have beaten himself black blue saying look i messed it all up now i'm a shepherd blah blah and blah but what do you think he needed to lead israel oh he needed to be a shepherd he needed to learn the skills the ability to be a shepherd and pharaoh's house did not give him that training so what he called his mystic god used to train for destiny is somebody getting what i'm saying here so tell the person beside you stop beating yourself black and blue well look at them and say that doesn't mean you're gonna mistake again no no that doesn't mean you then put your hair yourself into it well the point is that the it's not redemption if he can't redeem the bad and the good it's not redemption it's redemption because god can take the very mess and write a beautiful story out of it but here's the interesting part imagine all the years that he was training as a warrior and he fought all of the wars that he fought and you would wonder why on earth did god allow all of that to happen why on earth did all of that um did he have to go through all of that guess what his successor was a warrior and there was no way he would have been able to mentor joshua effectively for his assignment if he didn't understand what he meant to be a warrior no way under heaven are you following what i'm saying no wasted part of your life none whatsoever glory to god are you still with me tonight none whatsoever no wasted part well it says in verse 18 go back there first corinthians 2 of 18 and i don't i for some reason i feel the holy ghost just moving me a bit out i'll get back into my outline just a bit i'll share with them at the school of ministry and i may have mentioned i'm not even sure like i like well somewhere so because i'm not sure anymore which of which is which animal i may have mentioned and i said to them that if you read remember we're talking about graces places and races am i right now if we look through the bible examples of people who run their race you know immediately that if he says wherefore whatever he's talking about is on the basis of what he had said before wherefore is connecting a previous thought with this new thought i mean you could have said therefore wherefore is more old king james are you following what i'm saying here and so the question is what was he speaking about in hebrews chapter 11 remember that's the heroes of faith the chapters of the heroes of faith and all of the rest in essence the things that he listed in hebrews 11 is a detailing of the race that they ran are you following what i'm saying here so he says haven't told you about abraham haven't told you about noah haven't told you about um sarah haven't told you about who else haven't told you about noah and all of these people he says wherefore therefore you being surrounded by a cloud of witness he says you run what your own race now let's flip back to chapter 11 and see something about the race these people because I want to know if you're telling me to run my race I want to see somebody else who ran his race am I right I want to see somebody else who ran his race I want to see what his race looked like look at Hebrews chapter 11 and um quite a number of them there that Paul outlines but maybe we pick Moses let's look at Moses's accounts there because I feel like that's a bit more detailed you have Abraham's account you have Moses's account but let's stay with Moses's account verse um 23 verse 23 Hebrews 11 23 are we still together tonight glory to God hallelujah well by the way I haven't studied that which I'm meant to teach tonight so you better stay with me we got a long way to go Hebrews 11 23 can we read what it says one to go by faith Moses when he was born was he three months of his parents because they saw he was a proper child and they were not afraid of the king's commandment now who is he speaking about Moses's parents am I right now remember what we said anything you read in Hebrews 11 is an account of the race of that person's life am I right now in essence how many years did Moses's parents live we don't know in those days they lived for so long maybe they lived 300 years maybe they lived 400 years can we take an average let's say 250 years am I right for whatever the length is we don't know but let's imagine that they lived for 250 years when the holy spirit was going to summarize 250 years what was the summary by faith they discovered that Moses was a proper child and they refused to give him up to death by Pharaoh they knew that if they kept the child they were liable to death they could be punished they could be killed but by faith they they did all that they did just to give Israel what a savior in essence please listen to this the summary as far as God was concerned the account of Moses's parents life is one verse which means absolutely everything that they had done whether they grew up I mean they lived in in Ikeja and then they moved from Ikeja to Leki or whatever it is the summary of their life was what one verse what was it what was the one thing they were meant to do keep Israel a savior so is somebody getting what I'm saying that's all they were meant to do leave Israel a savior that's all in essence irrespective of whatever it is that they did they accomplished every other thing that they saw happen in their lives I can tell you for free that heaven didn't record it all that was recorded was what get Israel a savior look at the next verse look at verse 24 it says by faith Moses when he was come to years refused to be called what the son of Pharaoh's daughter do you realize that nothing is told us about his life while he was alive he was called the son of Pharaoh's daughter was in Egypt that as far as God was concerned that everything that happened up to that point was to lead him to that point it was irrelevant if he didn't get to that point is somebody following what I'm saying I'm trying to show you that we live years but heaven counts moments do you understand what I just said we live years but heaven counts moments that after several decades of living in Pharaoh's palace the Bible tells us that all God recalls about Moses's life is that there was a day and a time in his life where he said listen I refuse anymore to be called Pharaoh's daughters Pharaoh's son Pharaoh's daughter's son and he had to make that decision by faith knowing the repercussions thereof is somebody getting what I'm saying here look at what he says next he says choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt why everybody read for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward now everybody read 27 want to go by faith he forsook Egypt do you see that again now I want you to see this is his race by faith he got married by faith he bought a new car by faith he got a new job oh by faith he relocated to Canada do you understand what's going on here that all of that you know can I again said something he said God heaven has no record of the natural decisions that we make except they have deal I mean how can I betray Pharaoh how can I do this the entire I mean army and military of Egypt is going to come up against me and do you agree with me that if Moses had decided not to go into what the Lord had led him to do I do hope you know that he would have lived a good life oh yeah he would have lived a very good life in fact he may have become mentor to some believers you live in Pharaoh's house and there's no record of it whatsoever in the Bible remember with the Bible except they have a way of impacting on destiny no record whatsoever you live in Pharaoh's house and there's no record of it whatsoever in the Bible if you are wondering what body are we talking about tell me it's the body of Christ all right so he says ye are the body of Christ and each and every one of you are what members in particular now everybody read verse 28 the first um one two three four five six seven eight whatever first sentence there okay can we read the first sentence together I want to go and God had set some in the church let's stop there so now he wants to be begin to define certain offices all right and he's speaking here about apostles prophets you know these ministry gifts and all the rest but I wanted to observe this and never forget it he says he has set them where in the church say with me in the church come on say it again in the church say it one more time in the church so what is God's what is the salvation of the church and what is God's salvation of the church and what is the salvation of the circumference of God's operation the church are you following what I'm saying here this is important anything that does not have its place in the church does not have its place in God he says he sets them so when he talks about the body we use that loosely but then he then comes down to verse 28 to give us clearly what he's referring to he says he had set some he's talking about unique offices now and he says where did he set them in the church the church so the church is a place are you following what I'm saying here I told you last week that he sets you in places all right and I give you examples of several places where he sets you but you see for every single one of us there's a place he has set us and what is the name of that place the church so I mean the church so the question is what is the church what is the name of that place the church so the question is what is the church what is the church what is the seventh chapter and the 38th verse what is the church I know many of us have Greek you've heard the word ecclesia before which means the called out ones and all the rest and all of that is beautiful all of that is lovely all of that is wonderful but let the scriptures define for us it says in Acts chapter 7 verse 38 can we read together this is he that was in the church in the wilderness now please underline that he says this is he that was in the church in the wilderness who was he talking about Moses let's let's put context to it go to verse 37 quickly verse 37 it says this is that Moses which said unto the children of Israel a prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren like unto me him shall he hear so he's saying Moses prophesied about the coming Christ God is going to raise a prophet like unto me amongst your brethren and then he says tells us in verse 30 this is Stephen preaching he says this is he Moses that was in the church in the wilderness are you following this here go to Hebrews chapter 3 I'll come back to this Hebrews the third chapter Hebrews chapter 3 and verse 1 wherefore holy brethren partakers of the heavenly calling consider the apostle high priest of our profession Christ Jesus who was faithful to him that appointed him as also Moses was what faithful do you see that so Moses was faithful to him that appointed were in the church in the wilderness now this is the first time any group is referred to as the church this is the first time it's not the first time the word church is used but it's the first time any group is actually referred jesus said i will build my church he didn't refer to a church he said i will build it are you following what i'm saying but this is the first time that somebody's teaching and speaks of it not just i mean an account of it but somebody's teaching explaining and then he says the church in the wilderness now who were those in the wilderness the israelites those who came up up out of egypt delivered and redeemed of god are you following what i'm saying here and moses was the head of that race now so the church using types and shadows is a group of persons please write it down very important the church refers to every single one not just a group of people who has been redeemed by the blood of the lamb the bible says that he said the head of the family will would sacrifice the lamb and put the blood on the lead tail you remember that and then you see they had the passover and then they left egypt and so the moment they left egypt when they came into the wilderness they ceased being slaves the prophetic description for them was what the church in the wilderness now a type and shadow of the church in the wilderness is the church in the wilderness of the church today that the same way they had moses we have who jesus are you following what i'm saying here the law was given unto moses grace and truth came by who jesus moses was the head of the church in the wilderness who is the head of the church today jesus moses sacrificed the lamb or let them to sacrifice the lamb jesus not only sacrificed the lamb he's our lamb today is somebody following what i'm saying here and so you had the church in the wilderness and now you have the church of jesus christ now what determines your membership of that church was that you were delivered from egypt even if you were a jew and you remained in egypt you were not in the church in the wilderness it was redemption salvation that determined that you had become a part of the church now whether you like it or not each and every one of them would have different traditions different expressions different cultures are you get what i'm saying here they may look different but were they all the church in the wilderness yes in essence as long as a man has confessed the lordship of jesus irrespective of our doctrinal differences that is the church and our doctrinal differences does not determine our behavior to them it is the blood that connects us that determines you didn't hear what i said let me say what i said again because i see a lot of fully on rampage a lot of fully on rampage that what determines my response to another person is not because i agree completely what they have believed no no no is that the blood of jesus christ is valuable or considers them valuable enough to have saved them so i can't stand and speak condescendingly of another believer it means i've not deserved the lord's body don't tell me what god showed you don't tell me the accuracy of your message tell me about the blood first there's a way we treat blood did you hear what i said are you listening to what i said there is a way we what treat blood that's why paul said he said many of you are weak sick and many of you die because you deserve not can i tell you something that there are many diseases many infirmities that will not be healed by the anointing it's love oh it's love and until the church of jesus christ understands this thing that i'm teaching here tonight there will be great revelation yet great tribulation at the same time and we will wonder why there's so much knowledge yet little manifestation i think it was our w shamba jesus christ understand this thing that i'm teaching here tonight I'm talking about a love relationship. Have you ever studied Ephesians chapter 5? That when he taught them about husband and wife, this is what the husband should do, this is what the wife should do. And when you read that entire account, you say this is powerful marriage scripture. I hope you know that Paul ended it by saying, this I'm not speaking about man and wife. This is actually talking about Christ and his church. Which means you can use it to teach marriage ceremonial, but I'm not talking about man and wife. I'm trying to use something that you can relate with. I have looked through the entire universe, there's nothing else that can describe the kind of relationship. Is somebody following what I'm saying here? And then somebody comes out, on the basis of what you think, you think you can speak anyhow about the church? In the name of Christ. Is that your action? Let me tell you something. Go and read about the voice of healing revival. 95% of them died before 50. Powerfully anointed, 36 years old, 40 years old, 42 years old. Very few of them crossed the age of 50. And the reason was very simple, dishonor. Dishonor for the body. Putting your gift above the body is dishonor. If somebody listens to what I'm saying here, please stay with me tonight. Putting your gift above the body is actually dishonor. So what is the church? Let me get back to this. What is the church? Everyone who is what? Blood boss. Say with me, blood boss. Come on, say with me, blood boss. In essence, once a man confesses the lordship of Jesus, and this is why many of us will be shocked when we get to heaven, the people will meet there. Oh yes. The people will meet there. You'll be shocked. You see, because a man can believe God now, and you can have an entire denomination that believes God. They believe in the virgin birth of Christ. They believe that by the blood of Jesus, and that's the only way a man is cleansed. They believe in the confession and on top of that, they build their own traditions. And then you, because of the traditions you are seeing, you demean them and you despise them. And you say rubbish about them. And what you don't realize is this, is the foundation is right. And that God is under compulsion to treat them as family. Irrespective of your opinion. Don't forget. The opinion of the eldest son could not change the way the father treated the prodigal son. Many of us think that we can change God's mind about people. Somebody follow me tonight. Or building up to something. Matthew chapter 16 verse 18. Jesus said, Build my church. Ephesians 5, 22 to 33. Please note them down there. Jesus is building the church. That's what he's doing today. He's building the church. Say with me, he's building the church. that's what he's doing today that he may present to himself a bride without spot without wrinkle that's what he's doing without spot without wrinkle that's the obsession of jesus in the earth today first corinthians chapter 10 verse 32 first corinthians 10 32 and you know one of the reasons i personally believe there's a bit of gap in these areas is because there's very little teaching around these areas very little teaching very very little teaching around understanding what you call the doctrine of the church one of the most important doctrines of our faith the doctrine of the church look at what it says let's read together i want to go giving none offense neither to the jews nor to the gentiles nor to the church of god there are three races on earth what are the three races jews ninety-one no as far as god is concerned what are the three races on the face of the earth number one the jews and those people they are very troublesome but it's okay number one is the jews and we can't throw them anywhere are you following what i'm saying and i mean let me just say this you can't throw them anywhere irrespective of whatever it is you must always have a biblical view to events not an emotional view do you understand what i'm saying because there's a way emotions can take you away from a biblical view so when you have finished vexing do you understand i'm saying because i know some of you are carrying things on your head now i told somebody i said the way israel is doing it's even difficult to support them anyway now but but do you understand i'm saying jew number one number two is what gentile who are the gentiles the unsaved are you following what i'm saying here or no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no before the church came the gentiles were those who did not have a covenant with god through moses and abraham that's what defined the gentiles but when the church came it was more than just those who don't have a covenant with god those who are not don't have a covenant with god through jesus are you following what i'm saying prior to the church it was true abraham it was true moses all right but the moment the church was established and birthed on the day of pentecost that definition shifted a bit in fact that is why for the most part the word gentiles was used more after the church was established all right and then you find out that the definition there is for people who don't have a covenant with god through what jesus christ has done now this is important which means when god looks into the earth okay god is looking at the world as we see today what are the three races he's seen on the face of the earth he's seen the jews as one side he's seen the gentiles are you following what i'm saying here so let me explain it to you this way two of you please stand up the three of you in front please stand up and i want you to just stand up the three of them are all children come now we try and stand up and you're not just is it they want to use it all right so the three of them are children of one's um one family are you get what i'm saying all of them let's let's let me use a jewish home for example are you getting this okay so you have a jewish home and then the father gives birth to three children you have three children i mean let's start with the jewish he has three children now these two encounter the message of the gospel are you following this and then they get saved in the sight of god inside that house is not four jewish persons or three jewish children no in the sight of god is a jew and the church and you get what i'm saying it is you that sees three jews in the family sight of god the moment they make a confession of the lord chief of jesus they switch from being jews as far as god is concerned by natural heritage they are that by natural heritage you're a nigerian or the moment you make that confession in the sight of god and listen to me it's the sight of god that matters in the sight of god they are considered to be what the church of jesus christ if somebody get what i'm saying let's imagine this a nigerian home and then you know that she too she'll be born again you have three children and she's the only one that responds to the message of the gospel and these two do not respond to the message of the gospel as it were in the sight of god you don't have nigerians as far as god is concerned this is the church is somebody following what i'm saying here and these are what gentiles as far as god is concerned so when god is dealing with the world he's dealing with only three groups of persons he's dealing with the jew five of you can be a nigerian and the rest of you can be a jew a family and the dealing of god will be different with all of you the laws of god the expectation of god are you following this will be different so you have gentiles in the house and you have the church the gentiles can open their mouth and speak against the body are you following what i'm saying here because they haven't partaken of that blood and that sacrifice but you can't speak against a blood that saved you so the are you following what i'm saying here that the way and manner in which god will deal and consider what they have said and what you have said is completely different because you are different nationalities is somebody getting what i'm saying here once you understand this please sit down gentlemen what gentle ladies are man what you know that gentle lady me all right so gentle ladies are mad so when you when you consider once you understand this you see because if you don't know how god thinks you will assume your mind you will come to your own conclusion and say this is how god should do it in the sight of god there is the jew and the law of god for the jews is different i hope you know i hope you know that if you study the book of romans that there is still mercy god has reserved for the jews mercy that is not available for gentiles so that there's an extra dose of mercy that god has reserved for the jews god has reserved for them and then you have the gentiles and then you have the church of jesus christ somebody follow what i'm saying here now if you are jews it means that you have the same progenitors like you say oh we are yoruba you come from odudua and you are this one they sorry they come from odudua you are this one you come from this one you are this one you come from this one are you get what i'm saying so they will say all of those kind of things in the same way when we talk about a race we are talking about a race we are talking about a race we are talking about a race people that have a common history a common genealogy jesus is the defining factor jesus is the common factor if somebody follow what i'm saying the blood that he shed is the common factor and once a man has confessed that lordship there is a way and manner in which i'm supposed to see that person and relate with that person so he says do good to all men but especially do you see that galatians the sixth chapter he says do good to all men he says but especially which means if you have five people standing and you can tell that one is a believer whether or not you like their church you are under blood oath to treat them different do you understand what i'm saying you are under blood oath to treat them different you cannot take them as normal they are not normal especially especially three people qualified for the job and you can give the job is the believer that must get did you hear what i said so me especially this is what the bible teaches this is what the bible teaches so we know that when he talks about the jews the gentiles and the church he's referring to the universal church that's the family of god in heaven and on earth ephesians 3 15 downwards speaks to that fact the family of god in heaven and on earth now let's speak more about this earthly manifestation of the church which is what you call the local church you get what i'm saying here you see because the local church is a place and when i say it's a place i don't mean a physical address i mean it's a spiritual place that god plants people oh yes oh yes the local church please listen very carefully to me tonight the local church and when people don't have this understanding there's the triviality with which they approach it the trivial you say trivial matter you know i can i can you know i can go to church i cannot go to church he sets them where in the body what's the body the church the church is a place it's not just a decision you make no it's not just a decision you make i asked this question some days ago how many of you get a job close to your house no tell me how many people wake up and say i'm looking for a job close to my house so you put the job search i don't know if they still do all those job job search thing you put the job and you say 20 meters radius must not pass because i want to just be able to wake up in the morning and just just you know and just stroll down there and say how far now you people are working all right everything's fine and then i stroll back you know and as i'm going back home i just pick a plate of food and then particularly bachelor's and all the rest of it and i'm like oh my god i'm going to go to and then i get home do you understand what i'm saying or i can wake up in the middle now how many people choose those kind of things have you not seen people relocate their house relocate because of job you get a job in another continent you leave your father you leave your mother you some people even leave their family their wife and children they say i'll come back for you the power of money are you listening to what i'm saying you never find people making those kind of decisions but when it comes to their placement in the body convenience takes the order of the day how many services do they have so i can sleep a little longer are you seeing what's going on here how many services are how close is it to my house and they make those kind of statements and you are wondering who trained these ones who do they understand the order of god that it's impossible capital letters underlined for a man to become all that god has called him to be without him finding his place it's not possible no matter the prayers that he prays he cannot god never designed any man to be self-made never i'll show you scriptures in just a bit never designed any man are you still here tonight so the believer must design the lord's body design and when you say design paul used that word design the lord's body understand at the place the importance of the church the universal all right and your your attitude to the universal church as well as well the attitude i mean even as a local assembly as a local church let me say this to you i know the assignment god has given to me okay i know the things god has said to me i know the things i'm meant to do are at least at the level where i am and we are striving to do those things that god has asked us to do i know full well in fact the lord has told me what's going to happen in next three months i've seen it clearly we're not walking in doubt or anything it's clear what is going to happen where we are going to go into what's going to happen very clear but you see no matter how anointed and i said this at the beginning of this series no matter how anointed and how gifted the house is not one house can do everything no listen do you understand what i'm saying not one singular entity not one singular in i mean a church or ministry can get the entire job done and so one of the biggest listen one of the things that we must be very careful of is a body language that we are all that by ourselves that body language where are you following what i'm saying here and you see there's a balance there and i need to help you with the balance it's important please listen very carefully because balance is one of the most difficult things for people to have it's important that you have this balance you know full well listen to me let me use myself as an example i know full well that no matter how anointed i am at 100 percent of the grace of god on my life i cannot save the world do you understand what i'm saying i cannot be the answer to everybody's challenge it's not possible there are graces that will flow from through another person that has no expression through me at all do you understand what i'm saying so i know that but as much as i know that i am fully aware that to the ones that i am sent i am sufficient of god do you see the balance which means i do not consider myself to be the answer to every you see we make those statements and i understand it it's a faith thing i'm going somewhere to bomb i'm going somewhere to blow and you got something i understand all of those things and there are faith statements that we should make there why are you people laughing have you not been bombing there are you get what i'm saying there are faith statements that we should make and there are powerful statements that we should make but we know in parts and we what prophesy in parts and you get what i'm saying here which means the way god has designed it is that everybody has a part and i've said it to you that your part is complete do you get what i'm saying here which means god gives you a part but the part that he gave you is a complete part which means for everyone that he will send in that direction it is complete for all that is required in their life are you following what i'm saying here but to now think that everyone that is sent in that direction those that are not coming then are you get what i'm saying you now start thinking that the whole world is no it's not true it's not true it's one of the reasons ministers get into a lot of competition into a lot of error because you have to understand magnify your office yet be humble enough to know you are a part i magnify my office let me tell you this here and i say this before god as my witness i've said it over and over again i mean in a while i've not even said it but i've said it over and that we teach in this house in three months if your life is not radically changed stop coming to the church listen i've said i've told people this there's no need being religious about christianity there's no religion increase it's not religion are you following what i'm saying we are not trying to just oh we are just dancing and all of us are happy and then they will sing one song you shout hey i love the acquire an address and yet nothing is changing in your life nobody touches power without change even if it's just to shout you shout shout do you understand nothing has changed your life and for three months you are hearing what day in day out listen it is impossible but do you agree with me that there are people that will hear what i'm saying and they have no conception the way you are shouting what they are saying what's the problem with this and you may have met people like that years ago many years ago our church i mean we are gathered together and this was this were the days of do you get what i'm saying here everything was fit everything was by fit when i say everything even to enter the place was by fit and i mean it which means many times is that is i will help you please we'll pay you after service that's how we're doing service until they locked us out one day and if it it worked all right at least he provided us with a tree that we met under we met under the tree you know because people think sometimes you know we have met on that tree you understand what i'm saying one day i'll just do storytelling for you people i'm telling you the kind of things that we have gone through in this life called ministry so here was this time they were just about 18 and i remember the number because no matter the prayer and fasting didn't grow when god now brought growth it was an amazing one in fact it was at that point i gave up and i thank god i quickly learned from scriptures paul planted apollos watered god gave the increase if you like if you break your head on the wall it is not in you to bring increase it is god that bring it increase you plant and water and trust god in his faithfulness to bring increase do you understand what i'm saying so i mean i i i just knew that there was nothing we did pastors you know how we grew one woman just came one day with six children that was the growth for one year almost six children i'm telling you i don't know i think she gave birth to them one year after each other so god should god forgive me even just thinking about it again god should forgive because one day i remember i was praying in the car because there was no office anywhere i was praying and then i just saw the woman and you know when i say this woman with children i'll be following her like chicken chicken i mean that's that's i'm telling you the truth i was i said you know the frustration of a pastor until god told me he said listen to me he said if you don't cherish these ones nobody's coming to your church so after service i'll carry them the day i went to visit the woman in the house i can't tell you i can't tell you let me just leave so here's the point so you can imagine in all of that where you are wanting am i called am i not called i mean ah this thing you know because we are coming from campus we will change the world the world will burn i mean we'll pray in the middle of the night my guys will be telling me wait i can't see i can't see the nations are coming china china let me tell you the truth god is my god is my witness i remember one if i meet that boy today i'll beat him i remember one of those prayer meetings we're praying next he just stopped he said i'm seeing the they're looking like asians they're looking like asians you know because that's one prophecy i've been looking for hey and then i can't forget he even went as far as saying i see them bring these speakers isn't it bring this speaker well imagine coming out with those kind of heavy prophecies so one day please listen very carefully to this i've shared the story several times one day one guy entered the church he had you know all these americans there was somebody following them i don't know why there's always somebody maybe that's the person in nigeria that is their handler but there's always somebody following them i've not have you not noticed anybody that just lands now and seems to have small money the one chonkolo guy following him everywhere so there was this guy he just entered and he was following him everywhere and he was like a big big chest and the whatever it is the moment he entered you know how people enter you know that this is not one of us so i'll be preaching what's going on so he came first service he came i think second service by the third service i just thought it was the proper thing you know because candidly i've been trained in ministry you don't look at people's faces and it's important you don't look at people's faces i mean just preach what you want to preach and go you don't shake one more than the other everybody deserves the love of christ do you understand what i'm saying everybody deserves whether they are wearing slippers are you following what i'm saying or they are wearing agbada everybody this thing that is going on today it will still bite us in the body of christ i'm telling you the truth it is the reason why many people don't have mouth all right so the point is so you understand so one day and i've told this story several times so i i just summon courage i said this guy seems to be okay so i said hey how you doing i you know we made my phone engine yeah how you doing how you doing so i'm doing well is this your first time both of us need that it's not his first time because we're not plenty not to know who is not first okay okay well and you're speaking all dizzy and all this is not he said pastor can i see you that was a very problematic question i didn't have office i didn't have anything i said god what do i do what do i do lord how do we deal with this matter but thank god for the wisdom of the holy ghost he will give you a mountain of life and he will give you a mountain of life and wisdom he will know what to say by time immediately i said to him i said okay we'll see on thursday you know you can't forget some of these details we'll see on thursday we'll see i think i told them 2 30 yes because i put a 30 day there's a reason i'll tell you why 30 so i said 2 30 so we'll see so so and so place and i said to him said i'm so busy i won't be at the office i mean there's so much i'm doing and all the rest so i'm just going to pass through now there's a place at do you understand what i'm saying all right just from diaraba lutz when you come out like this there's a place there there was one e3 there they have changed it now but the last time i passed there there's there's only three there so i said i'll just pass through there and maybe you can just meet me there we can grab a bite together even me i want to know even me as i am like this is the revelation tell me sir why have you he said listen he said when i heard you i had hegan in you i had kitmore he said i heard of our robots he said i could see he didn't use these words but this i will say today i could see those strings flowing out of you he said i knew i had found the right person i said it was a discovery to me too i mean i said wow amazing i said glory to god glory to god oh wow it's the lord you know we have to be humble it's the lord is is the doing of the lord then he said something he said 1984 camp meeting i was there 85 camp meeting i was there i was there i was there then he started telling me of the company where or a robot kenny hegan had called or a robot t.l osborne lester somerall and then um novel hayes joel john austin joel austin's father all of them together in one camp meeting and that was i mean that was my favorite company he said i was in that camp meeting my goodness i was like a kid in said brother hagan will be teaching and i'm wondering what is he saying he said but the day i heard you i understood faith perfectly so i sat up a bit yeah hey ah of course that's the rap man do you back to the united states this and this as he went on and on i mean i held back the tears it was when he left i broke in tears where i was and i listen i learned a lesson that you see there are people that you are sent to as anointed as hagan was do you understand the man said i sat under hagan i didn't get it but i came under you a young who was just maybe one year or two years or three years maybe two years in ministry he says i listened to you and i perfectly understood everything they were saying not one person can do the job completely let me tell you something nobody shine takes your shine oh no no no no this whole this whole compete are you get what i'm saying here this is why you will gladly rejoice at the promotion of anyone around you when i say gladly you will gladly rejoice at it you have to deal with that thing that rises up inside you that feels like ah and you are you get what i'm saying god said this to me many years ago and i don't know why i'm saying this tonight god said this to me many years ago i've shared this several times with us that when paul peter and john went to the gate called beautiful you remember the bible says there was a man that had been placed there all of his life seeking alms do you understand what i'm saying if he had been placed there for years it must mean that that same temple that jesus went into where the bible says he made whips he cleaned the place out then he healed the blind he healed the beggars he healed the lame it was that same temple that means jesus performed miracle services there and the man remained unhealed as it were that jesus will walk out of the place he will say judas give him money the man who how do i know that he knew he knew them well the bible says the moment he saw them he knew that these guys are the atms that they never fail i've seen them without brush j i don't know what has happened i don't know but these are his guys these are his guys so he he's you know how it is now because i need you to paint the picture yeah he had stretched out his hand peter said silver and gold have i known but such as i have give i unto thee and the lord asked me a question he said what gave peter the boldness to minister healing to a man that i did not until the music is over until your voice is heard pardon me the music is not over did you hear what i said listen let me say to you again with a it says but when he saw the multitudes please follow this he was moved with compassion on them because they fainted and they were what scattered abroad a sheep having no what shepherd now you remember if you put this side by side the other synoptics at what point did this happen if you remember it was when he had taught them for three days and three nights right and then the bible says he looked at them and he said if i let you go i will give you the keys to the house of the Lord and i will give you the keys to the house of the Lord and i will give you the keys to the house of the Lord and i will give you the keys to the house of the Lord and i will give you the keys to the house of the Lord and let them go they were faint in the way he says they are like sheep without shepherd let's do something about it i want you to put that in context that he had taught them for three days and three nights this was like a crusade meeting this was like a revival meeting yet when jesus looked at them after three days and three nights he said they are like sheep without shepherd which means please listen very carefully to me that no matter how powerful the expressions of our ministry are until people are planted within the church they are sheep but they don't have shepherd it is redemption listen to me it is redemption that makes them sheep but you can be sheep without shepherd and it is not the design of god that there should be a sheep that is without shepherd now why is this important please take note take take these notes down what defines a church or a sheepfold is the presence of a ministry that is not a ministry gift called the pastor please note what i just said very important definition what defines a sheepfold is the presence of a ministry called the shepherd what defines a church is the presence of a ministry gift called the pastor now why is this important he said he had stood in his apostolic ministry in his prophetic ministry in his evangelistic ministry for three days doing the powerful things that he did with them but after the three days he still looked at them he said you guys are sheep but you are without shepherd he said pray you the lord of the harvest that he may send what laborers into his harvest what are the laborers shepherds so a church please listen to me this is so important in god's definition it is not sheep that makes sheepfold it is shepherds that make sheepfold which means you can have a thousand sheep and have no sheepfold but once you have one shepherd you have a sheepfold because he did not say they are like shepherds without sheep oh boy are you still here tonight i'm building up to something and you begin to see why satan attacks the church i've told you over and over again that the devil that we deal with is a businessman he's a capitalist he has limited resources i hope you know that you know people think that demons are everywhere it's not true it's not true people think satan is here it's not here no no it's not if you call him satan satan satan satan he's not he can't come he's busy maybe he's somewhere in obomosh or most likely he's busy sorry obomosh you know there's one movie my wife and i watch bemiam here i come so i mean that thing has just twisted my tongue but maybe it's not true it's not true it's not true it's not true maybe he's in bemiam right now or he's in oklahoma it's las vegas maybe he's in las vegas right now you know because people think that satan is omnipresent listen there are three things that makes god god anybody that has these three things has become god you have to be omnipresent you have to be omni omniscient and you have to be what's the last one now omnipotent which means you have to have all power the idea of omnipotence is omnipotent which means you have to have all power the idea of omnipotence is omnipotent means your power does not derive from another do you understand what i'm saying which means my power is independent of anyone else omniscient means that at one point in time in the now in the now not over time say with me in the now you have absolute knowledge of everything in the universe both what is happening and what is causing it to happen do you understand what i'm to be omnipresent which means that if we say you are here now you are still in america at the same time if that were the case why did job when satan came to god in the book of job why did he say i'm going to and through which meant he just came visiting he came on word round to job's house he just came on word round and he said ah job and then god now went to boast for the person that was i mean god was now boasting god was boasting about job god did not know that job had dropped some things have you considered my servant job so that's uh god god it's because of the edge you put around him god said my servant job my servant job do you know what do you know this guy satan said remove the edge let's let's do contest remove the edge i know people say god remove the edge well if that then solomon said he that removed the edge the serpent will bite that's the law did the serpent bite god no who did the serpent bite job so clearly who removed the edge job and oh yes if you read job chapter 2 downwards he said the things that i feared has come upon me he says i was not quiet which means he was voicing out his fear his doubt and his anxiety and by his fear he broke the edge are you following what i'm saying here but god still trusted what was inside him that he said listen irrespective of that look at what will happen with this man and through it all the bible says he charged not foolishly at god his wife looked at him he said you better cause god and die the girl wanted to marry somebody else she wanted freedom in her life man this guy died just before that glory to god so he's not here are you following what i'm saying he's not omnipresent right now he's busy are you getting what i'm saying he's busy since people said it's not nigeria it's las vegas he's busy somewhere else glory to god i don't know if how i got to do that one but let's get back into what we are saying here so listen to me this is extremely important what determines the presence what determines the formation and the development of a sheepfold is not the presence of sheep is the presence of what shepherd and by shepherd we are not talking about just a title that is conferred on a person are you following what i'm saying we are talking about a definite ministry office that god actually raises people to be shepherds is somebody following this here now follow this here we're building up to something we're building up to something go to ezekiel chapter 34 so believers gathering together is not enough don't say i'm upset with the body of christ so i'll gather my friends we start doing fellowship because you're gathering together is not what makes a church you are sheep scattered in the sight of god you are still sheep but you are very scattered in the sight of god what determines a church is the presence of a definite ministry gift called the shepherd the pastor everybody please look at me here let me say something to you that you should never forget please listen to this and never forget it i was telling school of ministry students i was telling school of ministry students i was telling school of ministry students and i'll tell you again whatever hurts you is what will heal you do you understand what i'm saying let me repeat what i just said whatever hurts you is what will heal you if you say that you had an absent father and you are upset with fatherhood as a concept and all the rest god will not use a mother to heal that hurts he will raise another father to heal the hurts that the absence of that father did is it not the same principle that it was another adam that on did what the first adam did is that not the principle of scriptures that god did not go and look for adamites he went he found another adam he didn't look for steve he went for another adam and you get what i'm saying so much so that it's called the second and what last adam so whatever so when people have issues and the truth is there are people that legitimately do you understand what i'm saying they and they have issues and they say church church church what you don't realize is this there is nothing else on earth that can heal you but the church is somebody following what i'm saying here please you have to understand this principle this kingdom principle here so you can't gather yourself together and say we are we are the reformed believers of leki rbl hmm hmm hmm we are the adulam remnants of of lexi you suffer finding deep conversations you can't do that do you understand what i'm saying because sheep does not determine sheepfold it is shepherd that determines sheepfold are we still together look at this girl 34 and let me show you something let me be very sincere with you what we are facing today we have faced its sins in the body of christ i'm really trying to finish my note here but it's a futile attempt so i'll just say the one i can say at the holy spirit look at what it says it's girl 34 verse 1 so you understand that god has been dealing with this thing long ago it says and the word of the lord came unto me saying son of man professor against the shepherds of israel why professor and say unto them thus yet the lord got unto the shepherds will be unto the shepherds of israel that feed themselves should not the shepherds feed the flock and this thing goes in cycles and waves where truly and really people actually forget what god has done for them and they are not going to be able to do that what god called them to do are you getting what i'm saying listen these are conversations that may not be comfortable but it's the truth where people take advantage of the church anybody that will be sincere will agree that there is no need you you see except you want to be denying realities that what we read here is not the first time it's happening and it's not going to be the last time it will happen where people will enrich themselves and i mean you get what i'm saying people these things happen but you see it happens and god did not hide it that it happened so that you know that even though this thing happened this thing has happened before god has not changed his plan yet that is still the imperfect church the imperfect people pardon me the perfect church filled with imperfect people that is working on together that he may present unto himself a bride a glorious one without spot and wrinkle you can now be more vested and more interested and more emotional about the church than the one who created it it's like you say you don't know what's going on he said let me show you what's going on let's read it together so you know god knows what's going on before you now come out on social media to tell the world he knows look at what he says let's go i'm going somewhere tonight are you still here yes look at what he says he says you eat the fat you clothe yourselves with wool you kill them that are fed but you feed not the flock the disease have you not strengthened neither have you healed that which was sick this is what shepherds should do which means when people are sick who heals them come on talk to me look at it the disease have you not what strengthened neither have you bound up that which was broken neither have you brought again that which was driven away neither have you sought that which was lost but with force and with cruelty you have ruled them and they were scattered because there was no shepherd do you see this concept again here and they became meat to all the beasts of the field when they were scattered everybody on the line that i never forget that statement he says they became what beast meat to all the beasts of the field when they were scattered were they sheep but did they become meat for beasts why no shepherd you can gather yourself seven of you in the name of i'm upset i'm angry with the body of christ churches and pastors and then we are the reformed remnant of of adulam from the cave of mephiza he says once you are scattered it's beast that will eat you my sheep one wandered through all the mountains upon every high hill yeah my flock was scattered but they were scattered because of the beast that will eat you scattered upon all the face of the earth and none did such or seek after them now if you read further downwards god dealt with the shepherds and he gives us a principle he's the one that deals with his shepherds somebody follow what i'm saying if you read there god dealt with the shepherds then he dealt with the flock which means god is not he's not turning a blind eye as it were no no no it's the long-suffering of god that makes people think that god is blind no are we still here tonight i i painfully must say this that there is judgment coming to the body of christ oh yes but it's none of your business to be the preacher of it leave the one who owns his church to judge his church he didn't employ you you are sheep you are sheep so anybody and because quite a lot and and by the message of god quite a lot in fact i realized that that's a large chunk quite a lot of ministers listen to what we teach listen i must be sincere with you judgment is coming so jeremiah 3 look at this here jeremiah chapter 3 so no matter how powerful a sheep is if he's not under a shepherd he will be eaten by beasts of the field no matter the gathering he has put himself under because what determines a sheepfold is what a ministry gift it's an anointing that god gives a man an office that he calls you into jeremiah chapter 3 and verse 15 i wish you together he says and i will give you pastors do you see that word pastors i will give you pastors according to mine heart everybody let's read together what then the pastor does number one who shall feed you with knowledge and understanding so when jesus looked at peter and he said to him love has done me more than this what did he say to him three times feed my sheep so what is the primary please now we are getting into some very important things what is the primary essence of the local church what is the primary essence of the pastoral office to feed not excite not entertain do you understand what i'm saying that if we are not careful in the name of pulling a crowd we may leave our assignments and become motivational speakers that the primary assignment he said they are to what feed everybody read what does he say they will do they will feed you with knowledge and with what understanding and knowledge and understanding are not the same thing knowledge is talking a about the opening up of scriptures understanding is the contextual application for your race do you understand what i just said let me say it again knowledge is the revelation of scriptures which means the word of god starts coming to you you're learning the scriptures that's why he says the church is the ground and the pillar of truth but then he doesn't stop there that the one who is sent to you as your pastor not only feeds you with knowledge but he brings understanding to you any anointed person can bring you knowledge but it's the one that is sent to you that can bring you understanding to you and it's the one that is sent to you that can bring you understanding and what do i mean by that you you hear the word and it is not just good revelation it is the fact that you start seeing your prophetic destiny inside those things that are being said the understanding the contextual application of the truth starts coming to you is somebody following what i'm saying here look at what happens next read the next verse very important what does he say and it shall come to pass when you be what multiplied and what increased so what is the end product of a proper pastoral ministry if you are under a pastor he says you will be multiplied and you will be what increased can i complain said something very powerful many years ago and i didn't understand it he said the pastoral anointing is the multiplication anointing that when you come under your pastor what begins to happen is that everything that god has placed within your life starts multiplying starts finding expression why because they are feeding you with knowledge and with what understanding glory to god are you still here can we read one more scripture hebrews 10 25 so the church is not a is not a religious construct it's not a social gathering god sets say with me god sets in the church come and say it again god sets in the church come and say it one more time god sets in the church hebrews chapter 10 and verse 25 and i'll just give you a few points and we pray tonight are we instructed tonight are we corrected tonight hebrews 10 25 everybody read not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as the manner of some is but exhorting one another and so much that we may not be able to do so much more the more as you see the day approaching which means the closer we are to the time of the end the more you need the church the closer we are to the time of the end the more you need the church very quickly what does the sheepfold give you i'll just list three things already established one which is pasture that's the first thing you find in the sheepfold pasture see me pasture that's the first thing you find in the sheepfold it is a singular defining character of the church. i have friends that's secondary oh it's not where i like their music years ago when i put this was 88 or 87 they didn't have good pa systems and all the rest so somebody came to me to be sure maybe i'm not sure what year it was but early in the ministry said um they should bring maybe a guest artist or something like that and they should rent some equipment and all dress and then he shouted said god did not send me to sing the word of faith he told me to preach the word of faith everything we do is to support the delivery of the word are you following what i'm saying that is why let me very sincere with you listen this is petra right and let me just let me tell you the truth you cannot grow to spiritual maturity with 25 minutes someone no please don't let anybody irrespective of tithing or position lie to you that person did not get there on 25 minutes someone it is one of the most painful things today in the body of christ that the disciplines that produced us we hide it in the name of are you get what i'm saying no listen you only the only the only connections some people have with the word of god sometimes is the message on sunday and then what we give them is 25 minutes or business seminar no shall feed them with knowledge and what understanding and if anything you know full well if anything if you've been a member of this house you know full well that if there's anything that i have for the body of christ is honor so i do not say anything that i'm saying from you know full well you are without doubt without a shadow of doubt on that but to say that you can develop spiritually and be all god has called you to be on a diet of 20 25 minutes no that's that's unfair it's unfair to a generation that's coming the sacrifices that brought us here if we're going to take it to the next level we have to pay our own sacrifices glory to god so number one is partial so you say how do i know how do i know how do i know it's not where you're excited where you like the acquire It's not where you like. No. Pasture. Have I found pasture in this place? Again, I'm not against excellence or anything. I mean, I don't have to tell you that as well. I'm not against all of these things. In any way. It's understanding what our priorities are. Number two. We just run through this. Is in the sheepfold you find your place. Or it helps you find your place. The sheepfold equips you for ministry. You start this. It equips you for ministry. You find your own place in the body of Christ. Thirdly, which is not lastly. Is the sheepfold helps deliver your prophetic destiny. That as you actually sit under the one that God has sent to you. You would actually begin to realize what your life is about. Your eyes will start opening. You start seeing things. Because it's his anointed to do that for you. Glory to God. What is our responsibility to the sheepfold? Because whilst there is what the sheepfold brings into your life. There is your own responsibility to the sheepfold. And now you begin to see why Satan attacks the church. And let me tell you this. The greatest challenge of the church is not. Somebody put it this way. It's not an explosion from outside. It's an implosion from inside. That's the greatest challenge. You see why Satan will attack the church.
